End Sexual Exploitation Movement Growing

I am excited to report that the 2nd Annual Coalition to End Sexual Exploitation was a complete success!

Over 300 leading organizations and experts gathered to discuss not only the harms of sexual exploitation, but also the hope for our ability to make a positive difference. Attendees came to Orlando for this historic Summit from all over the United States, and from all over the world, including regions like South Africa, Australia, Nigeria and India.

It was an encouraging, fast-paced, event where experts on trafficking, pornography, parenting, and more, learned from one another and recieved high end organizational training in order to become more efficient in their work.

Attendees also had the opportunity to take several actions against companies or organizations that are facilitating sexual exploitation. Most exciting of all, as a result of this Summit, thousands of postcards have now been directed at Amnesty International, calling on them to reverse their policy for decriminalizing prostitution. Amnesty International has abandoned the human rights of all men and women who experience the exploitation of prostitution by advocating for a policy that would by nature only benefit human traffickers, pimps, and brothel-owners.

Many more pictures and videos from this event are on their way, so stay tuned!

North Carolina Rep. Walter Jones: Curb Obama’s power on refugees, start by cutting funds

Of course I’m wondering if Speaker Boehner will be curbing Rep. Jones?

Interestingly, Rep. Walter Jones has been in Congress for 20 years. Does he know that North Carolina is a prime resettlement state?  NC is one of 12 states that received more than 2,000 refugees so far this year (as of August 31).

stabbing-deaths

Eh Lar Doh Htoo

Do you remember that gruesome machete murder in March when a Burmese refugee killed three small children.  It happened in New Bern (in Jones’ district).  Could that have caused his concern for the huge influx of refugees entering the U.S. and North Carolina?

Come to think of it, could the murderer be a Burmese Rohingya Muslim resettled among Christian Burmese, does anyone know?  We told you about it here when it first happened.  Eh Lar Doh Htoo, 18, killed three young brothers ages 1, 5, and 12 in New Bern, NC earlier this year.

Here is the story by Neil Munro today at Breitbart (hat tip: Richard at Blue Ridge Forum):

Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC)-today called on Congress to formally curb President Barack Obama’s legally unlimited powers to invite foreign refugees and migrants into the United States.

“We need to determine how much this program is costing taxpayers, and we need to make sure the people we are letting in aren’t radical Islamic terrorists,” said Jones, a conservative elected from North Carolina.

“Until then, the program ought to be suspended,” Jones said.

“We are over 18 trillion dollars in debt [and] we don’t even have money to fix roads and schools for Americans who pay taxes and already live here,” Jones said.

“Instead of taking in thousands of immigrants and refugees from countries that breed radical Islamic terrorists, we should be focusing our efforts on urging stable Middle Eastern countries to allow refugees to resettle closer to their homeland,” he said.

The only practical way for the GOP to limit Obama’s authority is to include restrictions in the annual spending bills, due for completion this fall.

For example, the Congress can include limiting language in the appropriations bill that is used for the refugee program.

Reporter Munro has more, continue reading here.

Glad to see that some House Members are doing something, so far as I know, nothing from the House Judiciary Committee that has jurisdiction over the refugee program and has some say over Obama’s determination for FY 2016.

Ben Carson: If I was ISIS, I would infiltrate the refugee stream to America

Here is another 2016 Presidential candidate suggesting that the resettlement of 10,000 (65,000 or 100,000) Syrians to American towns represents a security threat.

Strong positions have already been taken by Donald Trump and Scott Walker in the run-up to the CNN Presidential debate scheduled for tomorrow evening.

Carson: If we are doing such great screening how did the Tsarnaev Brothers get in?

From CNN:

Washington (CNN) Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson on Monday recalled the men who orchestrated the bombing at the Boston Marathon to argue that the U.S. should not accept emergency refugees fleeing Syria.

The retired neurosurgeon, who is recently earning silver medals in national opinion polls, raised the specter of Tamerlan and Dzokhar Tsarnaev***, the immigrant brothers who came to the United States in 2002 and a decade later organized the attack. Carson said the U.S. had not substantively improved how immigrants those like the brothers were vetted when they came as refugees from Kyrgyzstan.

“How did that screening process work for the Tsarnaev Brothers?” Carson told CNN’s John Berman on “The Lead.” “We don’t know whose those people are, and the majority of them are young males, and they could easily be people who could be infiltrated by terrorists.”

Carson said it was all too easy for Islamic militants to take advantage of the relaxed standards for refugees.

“If I was ISIS, if I were the global jihadists, and I knew the United States was about to take in 10,000 or 65,000 or 100,00 people from my region, I would infiltrate them with my people,” he said.

[….]

Carson also characterized his position on immigration as “probably not that far away” from Trump’s, despite having disagreed with Trump on the viability of deportations of undocumented immigrants.

Mr. Carson might be advised to question all those who will now dump hate-filled vitriol on him over his lack of humanitarian concern and ask them how many Syrian Christians are they planning to help since the vast majority of Syrian refugees (95%) taken in by the US now are UN-chosen Syrian Muslims.

Our security concerns might be dramatically lessened if Christians were the recipients of our generosity (they aren’t after all the ones doing the terrorizing!).

***The Tsarnaev brothers may not be the best example because they came in as children, and as asylum seekers.  We did not select them abroad with or without the help of the UN.  Better examples would be the Iraqi refugee terrorists that we did select and who did go through our security screening process which failed miserably.

However, the Tsarnaev brothers do exemplify a more serious problem in my view and that is what we are seeing with many next generation refugees, most notably the Somalis from Minnesota some of whom are not assimilating and are becoming radicalized in America cities (probably in radical mosques).

Those young men who left to join Al-Shabaab and ISIS over the last 8 years or so, could not have been screened against and their parents might have been fine people.  The point is, that even if the Syrian Muslims, or any other Muslims, being admitted to the US now are perfectly decent and peaceful, their children may not stay that way.

Let’s consider Frank Gaffney’s proposal today—a moratorium on Muslim colonization of America!  That seems to offer us the safest choice wouldn’t you say?

‘It’s a War’: How the U.S. and Its Allies Are Fighting ISIS

HuffPo poll: Only 27% of respondents think we have any responsibility to take in Syrians

U.S. Liberal Jews pushing for more Syrian refugees. Why?

At one time I was a member of the national board of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) in the early 1980’s when the priority was helping Jews escape from tyranny in Russia, Ethiopia and Syria. There are reported to be less than a dozen elderly Jews left in Syria. HIAS was also involved in processing Vietnamese boat people refugees in the US.  That was over three decades ago.  HIAS is one of the 11 Voluntary Agencies (VOLAGS) under the State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM) and Department of Health and Human Services Office of Refugee Resettlement pushing to bring to the US 100,000 Syrian refugees streaming out of the more than 5 million displaced internally and in external camps in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan.

HIAS has joined with Arab American advocacy groups and immigration lawyers, some controlled by Muslim Brotherhood leaders, like those on the Syrian American Council, to bring predominately Muslim Syrian refugees to America. As we have seen in the flood of an estimated  400,000 Syrian refugees, a vanguard of whom have entered the broken open borders of the Shengen system of EU countries, the predominate demographics are young men,. Among who may be ISIS sympathizers that may add to the already daunting problems that FBI Director Comey had said already faces us in all 50 states.

President Obama announced last week an increase in the annual allotment of 10,000 Syrian refugees to be resettled here. The current total PRM allotment under the Refugee Act of 1980 is 70,000. The PRM updated a list of local resettlement agencies in more than 180 communities throughout the US being screened as potential recipients of these Syrian and other UN designated refugees. One of those on the PRM listed is Catholic Charities in my community of Pensacola in northwest Florida.

A Pew Trust study revealed that 1.7 Muslim immigrants were admitted to the US over the US over the period from 1992 to 2010. Upwards of 250,000 Muslim refugees have already been admitted under the US Refugee Resettlement Program from conflict zones in the Middle East, Eastern and sub-Sahara Africa and South Asia since 1990. One refugee family assisted by the program in Boston were the Chechen Tsarneavs, whose sons, Tamerlane and Dzhokhar, who became Jihadist terrorists who perpetrated the heinous Boston Marathon bombing. We have written extensively about assimilation and national security problems of Somali refugees in the U.S., especially the problems in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul, Columbus, Ohio and other émigré communities. Some of these communities have spawned émigré fundamentalist fighters who joined terrorist groups Al Shabaab in Somalia and ISIS in Syria and Iraq. Some of these émigré jihadis have returned to the U.S. and been arrested and convicted for material support for terrorism. Now the threat may be self motivated jihadists who perpetrated attacks such as in Garland, Texas and the deadly attack on Marine and Naval reservists in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

On 9/11 the Jewish Telegraph Association (JTA) reported these developments in an article, “Arab Americans look to Jews for help on Syrian refugees:”

Over the last few days, HIAS, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, launched a petition drive calling on President Barack Obama to swiftly open America’s gates to an additional 100,000 Syrians, and the president of the Union for Reform Judaism wrote to the president and congressional leaders calling for a coordinated international response.

“Our great nation must respond immediately by providing safety, food, shelter, refuge, and dignity,” wrote the Reform leader, Rabbi Rick Jacobs. “How can a nation built by refugees from political persecution turn our back on refugees fleeing religious and political persecution?”

Omar Hossino, the Washington-based Syrian American Council’s public relations director, singled out HIAS as being particularly helpful.

“HIAS has been consistently calling for more resettlement and pushing back against the discriminatory rhetoric opposing opening the doors to Syrian refugees,” he said.

This week, HIAS president Mark Hetfield held a conference call with American Jewish organizational officials to talk about his agency’s decision to join with Arab-American leaders in critiquing U.S. policies that limit the numbers of refugees settled in the United States to about 70,000 per year.

Only about 1,500 Syrian refugees have been admitted since the start of the civil war in 2011. Obama announced Thursday that the United States soon would take in 10,000 refugees, but Hetfield said that number was inadequate.

“We are dealing with a global humanitarian crisis to which the entire world must respond,” he said in a statement issued within hours of Obama’s announcement. “If Germany can open its doors to 800,000 asylum seekers, the U.S., with a population four times the size of Germany’s and a history as a nation of immigrants and refugees, can take 100,000.”

Hetfield appealed to regional Jewish groups to act on the grassroots level to help absorb refugees.

Akram Abusharar, a Gaza-born U.S. immigration attorney who handles approximately 80 Syrian asylum cases per month, said HIAS’s involvement was a boost to his cause.

“The Jewish community has more capacity to move the politicians on this issue than the Arab-American community,” he told JTA in an interview.

But more recently Hossino has tracked an uptick in opposition to bringing Muslim immigrants to the United States — especially among Republican candidates and members of congress. In television appearances last weekend, Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina said the United States has “done its fair share” when it comes to the refugee crisis. Sen. Rand Paul asserted that the U.S. “can’t accept the whole world” and should adopt a cautious stance towards resettlement.

Hetfield, in the conference call, said concerns about the Muslim and Arab identity of the refugees are misplaced, reminding listeners of similar reasoning when some nations in the 1930s blocked Jewish immigration from Germany.

So why is HIAS joining with other willing NGOs like the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, Lutheran World Refugee and Immigration Services, Church World Services and the International Rescue Committee promoting a flood of Syrian Refugees to come to the U.S.?  Is it a humanitarian gesture of openness?  Or is it the fees they receive  from processing refugees and asylees who fit the UN and US Citizenship and Immigration Service definitionthat determines who  qualifies to be admitted  for asylum under the Refugee Act of 1980? Those refugees that are admitted under the US resettlement programs receive a smorgasbord of federal and state welfare, medical, housing and other benefits that some migration specialists’ estimate could exceed 10 to 12 billion dollars annually. That taxpayer burden might double if HIAS and other VOLAGs, with the assistance of the Obama White House, succeed in dramatically increasing the allotments for Syrian Refugees over the next several years.

Syrian Christian refugees(1)

Syrian Christian Refugees.

If anyone among the displaced Syrian refugees deserves priority it is the Syriac Christians and other non-Muslim religious minorities with existing Diaspora communities in the US. Communities that might provide private sponsorship assistance. Those traditional private sponsorship programs like the Canadian federal effort have demonstrated the ability to rapidly absorb refugees who share basic values traditional with our society.  We also have the examples of Jewish philanthropists like the venerable UK publisher, 95 year old Lord George Weidenfeld, a holocaust survivor, spearheading the Safe Havens Fund actively supporting efforts to spare a fraction of these threatened Christian and non-Muslim Middle East minorities. HIAS could expand upon Weidenfeld’s example.

HIAS, Jewish Federations and the leaders of the  Reform Movement should carefully vet Arab American ‘partners’ before sallying forth on humanitarian grounds to admit more Syrian and predominately Muslim refugees. Especially, when there are threatened Middle East Christians and other non-Muslim minorities that deserve preference. That is demonstrated by the Safe Havens Fund of Lord Weidenfeld, who received the Theodore Herzl Award of the World Jewish Congress.

More undesirables from Mexico? Syrians!

Breitbart has news yesterday that the Mexican government might be planning to ‘welcome’ Syrians to Mexico. And, then they could do what Trump says they do—send us their problem people!

Prominent Mexican officials are calling on their president to open the doors for 10,000 Syrian refugees, though thousands of Mexicans per year are fleeing their cartel-controlled nation and its violence and seeking asylum in the United States. The move comes on the heels of Mexico accepting 30 Syrian students. Other nations south of the porous U.S.-Mexico border have already opened their doors for people fleeing the Middle East.

Considering the Mexican government’s inability to govern its own territory and the willingness of Mexican officials to accept cash bribes, one could question whether their screening process would exclude potentially dangerous individuals. Even in the case of an individual being identified having a connection to a terrorist organization, a wealthy benefactor or ally of the individual could simply pay off a decision-maker and get the individual through.

CNN Poll: 29% of Americans think President Obama is a Muslim

This story doesn’t persist because Americans are “racist” or “Islamophobic.” This story persists because of Obama’s behavior: his fulsome praise of Islam, his refusal to call Islamic jihad terrorism by name, his statements such as “the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam,” his aiding the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and al-Qaeda in Syria; and so much more.

“Misperceptions persist about Obama’s faith, but aren’t so widespread,” by Jennifer Agiesta, CNN, September 14, 2015:

Washington (CNN) A new CNN/ORC poll finds that although misperceptions about Barack Obama’s religious beliefs and background persist, they are not as widespread as some recent polling has suggested. Obama was born in Hawaii and is a Christian.

Overall, when asked “Where was Obama born, as far as you know?” 80% of adults said they believe Obama was born in the United States. The other 20% said that he was born outside the country, including 9% who believe there is solid evidence of that and 11% who say it is just their suspicion.

Misperceptions about Obama’s religious beliefs are more common than those about his birth, particularly among Republicans. Overall, 29% of Americans say they think the President is a Muslim, including 43% of Republicans….

The Continuing Trump Debate

With the next Republican presidential debate coming in two days, I expect more theatrics than substance.  With eleven candidates on stage, it’s impossible to have any type of substantive dialogue.  Each candidate will have 10 minutes of total talk time.  And of course the media will try to focus on trivial things like say something nice about one of your opponents or gotcha questions like what is the name of Putin’s vice president.

D.C. insiders continue to display their utter disdain for Donald Trump and his presidential campaign.  As I have previously written, Trump is not the issue, but rather the lack of leadership and vision displayed by our Republican presidential candidates.

I challenge anyone to name me three issues that all Republicans can rally around as a contrast to the Democrats; and state them in a manner that would resonate with the average voter.

Far too many supposed Republican leaders and presidential candidates are to the left of Obama when it comes to amnesty for those in the country illegally.  How can you aggressively support this type of policy when it will continue to depress wages of the lower and middle classes?

This cheap labor will also exacerbate the Black unemployment rate, which is the highest of any group in the country.  Oh, I forgot, Blacks don’t count; so Republicans remain silent on this issue.

Isn’t it amazing that the two people who have specifically opposed amnesty solely on the grounds of its negative impact on the Black community have been Republican author and commentator, Ann Coulter and Donald Trump?

Isn’t it also amazing that these two people are often labeled in the media as “racist” and “xenophobic?”  I have known Coulter for many years and she, second only to me, has constantly used her media platform to strongly encourage the Republican Party to do a better job courting the Black vote; especially using issues like blocking amnesty and supporting entrepreneurship as the gateway into the Black community.

More than anyone else in the Republican field, Trump understands the impact of illegal, cheap labor on the Black unemployment rate.  On this issue, he is more in tune with the grassroots in the Black community than Obama, the NAACP, the National Urban League, and the Congressional Black Caucus—go figure.

Now these very same groups have come to the asinine conclusion that America has a “moral” obligation to take in refugees from Syria.  Are you kidding me? America cannot afford to play Santa Claus to the world.  These refugees are Europe’s problems, not ours.  There are many ways to help without bringing them to our country.

We can’t even track notorious criminal gang members from Central America who are part of MS 13, but yet we are supposed to know who the terrorists from Syria are?  What responsible family would take their only loaf of bread and send it to an unknown family on the other side of the world?

A person’s first “moral” obligation is to provide for their own family; anything thing else would be irresponsible.

One of the things that drives me crazy with Republicans who support amnesty is they always ask what are you going to do with the 30 million illegals who are already in the country?  You can’t deport 30 million people they say.  Oh really?  Why can’t we?

Every Republican candidate for president has said that America is an exceptional country; of course they never define what they mean.  Basically, American exceptionalism means we can do anything we put our minds to.  We can put a man on the moon, we can liberate Kuwait from Iraq, and we can elect a Black to be president.

So, Republicans, which is it?  Are we an exceptional nation or not?  When they say we can’t deport 30 million people they mean they don’t have the will to deport 30 million illegals because deep down inside, like liberals, they believe in open borders and cheap labor; not free market capitalism.

So Trump comes along and says he will build a wall, deport those in the country illegally, and make America great again.  These are simple sound bites that resonate with the American people; and the American people, thus far, believe Trump will deliver on his promises.

Slowly Trump is beginning to grow into a presidential candidate that must be taken seriously.  The other candidates can’t match the size of Trump’s personality; but they can match him on the issues if they choose to tap into the frustration Americans are feeling about their lives and the wrong direction our country is headed in.

But if the other candidates are only going to offer Democratic lite policies, then Trump will definitely be our presidential nominee and will have a decent chance of becoming the next U.S. president.  To this there is no debate.

Muslim cleric: “Homosexuals are the filthiest of Allah’s creatures”

Woe to you — from the gay community — if you dare to point out Sharia persecution of gays. When Pamela Geller and I ran ads highlighting the mistreatment of gays in Islamic law, the San Francisco City Council issued a resolution condemning not that mistreatment, but our ads.

Gay advocates such as Theresa Sparks and Chris Stedman attacked us for daring to call attention to the institutionalized mistreatment of gays under Islamic law.

Their gay advocacy doesn’t extend to standing up to Sharia oppression of gays, even though that oppression is far more virulent and violent than anything from “right-wing extremists” in the U.S. And you can’t blame them: given the Leftist/jihadist alliance, it’s clear that if they spoke out against Sharia mistreatment of gays, they would no longer be invited to the best parties, and might even be branded as “right-wing.” Their moral cowardice and duplicity, however, are obvious.

“Vice-President Of Hungarian Muslim Community: Homosexuals Are The Filthiest Creatures,”MEMRI, July 10, 2015:

During a Friday sermon on July 10, 2015, Imam Ahmed Miklós Kovács, Vice President of the Hungarian Muslim Community, stated that homosexuals are “the filthiest of Allah’s creatures,” and that Muslims “must never accept this disease.”He instructed followers not to paint their Facebook image with rainbow colors.

Following are excerpts:

Ahmed Miklós Kovács: These homosexuals are the filthiest of Allah’s creatures. A Muslim must never accept this disease, this terrible depraved thing. He must never color his profile picture on Facebook in the colors of the rainbow, and must never applaud [homosexuals] and express solidarity with them.

[…]

My dear brothers, as you know, wickedness has become widespread in these times. Sinning has become widespread, and moral values have become rare worldwide. Things that were considered beautiful in the past have become ugly in the eyes of some people, and things that were considered ugly have become beautiful in the eyes of some. One of these things is homosexuality, may Allah protect us from it. These days [homosexuals] are celebrating their disease. Effeminate homosexuals are the filthiest of Allah’s creatures. They are sick, and a Muslim must never accept this ugly thing. [Homosexuals] are destroying sound moral values and societies. This filthy thing is not accepted by this country’s society, and is forbidden in Islam and all the monotheistic religions.

VIDEO: On Women, Motorcycles and Rules for Riding Safely

I became a motorcycle enthusiast while in the U.S. Army. I have always ridden Honda motorcycles and, like many fellow riders, was involved in an accident. Luckily I survived the injuries and I ride today as often as I can. I always wear full protective gear while riding.

I have learned it is better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

In the 2015 print edition of Icon’s Limiter magazine (issue #10) is an article on Ewa Pieniakowska (pictured above). Icon reports, “Ewa is a small town girl from Poland, she put her mind to making it big in the freestyle world, and then she went out and did it. Always pushing her bike and her skills to the limit, Ewa ground and pounds ever closer to whatever goal she puts her mind to. Ewa only knows her definitive end goal, but there’s not much on this earth that can stop her.”

Ewa is Poland’s first female Streetbike Freestyle Stunt Rider. She is the first woman in European history to take part in a stunt competition.

After reading the article I went to Ewa’s website EwaStunts.com. I immediately became an Ewa fan. I respect Ewa for her motorcycle riding skills, dedication and passion for motor-sports. She is Polish as is my mother’s family, no ethnic prejudice here. Here is Ewa talking about the importance of wearing the proper motorcycle gear:

I have certain rules when riding my motorcycle:

  1. Always wear full protective clothing (body armor, long Kevlar or leather riding pants with armor inserts at the knees, riding shoes made for motorcycles, full faced helmet and leather riding gloves). I see too many riders on motorcycles and motor scooters who wear no protective clothing. I cringe every time I see one drive by. I call people who ride motorcycles and motor scooters without a helmet “organ donors.”
  2. I don’t ride and drink. Drinking alcohol and then getting on a motorcycle is a death wish.
  3. I don’t drive at night, if I can avoid it. Drivers don’t see motorcyclists during the day, its worse when the sun goes down.
  4. I avoid driving on highways. It’s much more fun, and safer, to take the scenic route and back roads.
  5. I don’t answer my phone while riding. I have a Bluetooth device on my helmet that allows me to sync with my smart phone. Don’t use it as it is a distraction. If the call is important, pull over to the side of the road and return the call.
  6. I don’t start a motorcycle ride in the rain. However, I will ride home in the rain, very carefully!

Riding motorcycles for over 35 years I have met the nicest people. Among them are women riders. Some ride solo, others ride as passengers. Either way, women owners of  motorcycles is a growing industry (go into your local motorcycle dealer and see how many items are in pink). Women riding motorcycles is becoming more popular and that is good for everyone, including us men.

Here is another video of Ewa doing what she does best, pushing herself and her motorcycle to the limit:

As motorcyclists say: Live to ride and ride to live!

The Real Rogue Cop Problem

Over at PJ Media, I discuss where, and why, police are actually participating in the heinous targeting of certain population[s]:

Do #InfidelLivesMatter?

It’s open season on police officers these days, because many black Americans believe that it’s open season on them. And while some police officers are no doubt hateful, corrupt, and compromised to powerful interests, in the main one must go out of the country to find the real rogue cops: police officers who aid and abet, and sometimes even participate in, the terrorizing of their own people.

Last week, the Supreme Court of Pakistan took the unusual step of criticizing the police’s failure to intervene in the case of a couple, Shahzad and Shama Masih, who were murdered by a lynch mob in Kot Radha Kishan, Punjab, in November 2014. Five police officers stood by and did nothing while a frenzied mob murdered the Masihs.

Why didn’t they step in and stop the lynching? Because the Masihs were Christians, accused of blasphemy.

Blasphemy is a capital crime in Pakistan, but all too often the death sentence is carried out not by duly constituted authorities, but by slavering mobs such as killed Shahzad and Shama Masih.

Police, sharing the mob’s world view, stand by and let it happen.

Sometimes these rogue cops do worse than just stand by while infidels are brutalized.

Earlier this summer in Indonesia, police in the West Papuan city of Karubaga opened fire on worshippers at the local congregation of the Evangelical Church of Indonesia (GIDI), killing a fifteen-year-old boy, Endi Wanimbo, and wounding eleven other Christians. Indonesian authorities have hastened to protect the perpetrators: they have neither arrested the police officers responsible, nor released their names.

National police chief General Badrodin Haiti explained:

The victims were shot because they were pelting stones at Muslims who were just performing Eid prayers.

However, Natalius Pigai of the National Commission for Human Rights contradicted Haiti:

It seems to have been a misunderstanding that Evangelical Church of Indonesia (GIDI) is being hostile to Islam. In fact, they were not planning to burn the mosque. People were upset because of the police shootings.

Haiti appears to be another rogue cop, willing to bend the truth to protect Muslims who harm Christians.

Most troubling, the problem of cops protecting Muslim perpetrators has been occurring in Western countries, too.

In non-Muslim countries, “infidel” police officers are so afraid of offending ever-so-easily-offended Muslim sensibilities that they turn a blind eye to crimes committed by Muslims — particularly when there is justification for such crimes in Islamic scripture and law.

The most appalling example of this came in the British city of Rotherham. There, 1,400 British non-Muslim children were gang-raped and brutalized by Muslims whose actions found Islamic justification in the Qur’an’s allowance for men to take non-Muslim “captives of the right hand” for use as sex slaves (4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50).

Police hesitated to act for fear of being considered “Islamophobic.”

A whistleblower noted the following about members of the Rotherham council:

They described their nervousness about identifying the ethnic origins of perpetrators for fear of being thought as racist; others remembered clear direction from their managers not to do so.

Last November, the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) announced that it was going to investigate ten officers of the South Yorkshire Police Department for their role in covering up the activities of Muslim rape gangs in Rotherham.

But in this case, the cops weren’t rogue; their superiors were. These ten police officers were just being set up to take the fall….

A Jersey Boy’s Reflections on September 11, 2015

9 11 people covered in dustAs I watched the towers come down fourteen years ago, the same towers I watched go up as a kid in New Jersey, I knew my life (like many others) was about to dramatically change…forever. On that fateful September morning I knew all my years of academic work in Islam and related areas of law enforcement and activism would be required in what will be an extended, vicious, deadly, horrible war in a clash of two incompatible civilizations, the Judeo-Christian West and Islam.

In those early patriotic days if you were not moved by the thousands of American flags flying from every other car on every road in America, you lived among the dead in spirit. Today the American flags have stop waving on the cars but the flags of Al Qaeda and the Islamic State now fly worldwide indicating my next sad but very accurate observation – we are losing this war to Islam’s Jihad.

But, we can win.

We are losing primarily because of President Obama’s unprecedented capability to persuade his Democrat party to capitulate to Islam’s supremacy and then create at home a false “war-wariness” that has taken the fight out of many Americans while the same time the recruitment for the Islamic State and its affiliates increases exponentially.

Folks, you cannot beat a determined enemy who desires to die for their cause when your Commander-in-Chief does all he can to weaken the American spirit and American fighter.

In order to defeat Islamic jihad this Obama defeatist attitude must be reversed and we have a little over 400 days to make necessary political changes on Election Day, November 8, 2016.

The United West is positioned to help reverse this defeatist strategy through our continued work in the areas of defending the US Constitution, defending the State of Israel, defeating President Obama and defeating Islam. Our powerful team is extremely knowledgeable on these cultural and national security issues and has tremendous communication skills as seen through our thousands of hours of high-quality informative videos, through our regular documentaries and expose’s on Enemies of the State.

In addition, what really sets us apart from others who fight these battles for the American people is that we take the fight to the bad guys, going after them, at their events, on their turf, in their backyard and properly, professionally and legally confronting them to expose them as anti-America, anti-Israel, anti-West advocates.

If you follow the phenomenal work of The United West (formally, Florida Security Council) you realize how much our team has accomplished over the past nine years on so little money. We own a fully equipped independent TV studio that has became a central component of broadcasting our investigative and activist material worldwide.

Our highly dedicated team is comprised of all volunteers with no one receiving a salary and some of our folks are living on their friend’s couches in order to stay in this fight. Our operating expenses are a mere $9,000 a MONTH!  I can say with extreme confidence that there is no organization that accomplishes all we do, on a world-wide basis on $9,000 a month!

In an effort to make sure there are NO MORE September 11’s in America just this year on March 2, The United West was in Washington DC, live-streaming a Rally in support of Prime Minister Netanyahu, then also in March we lead a two-week tour to Israel for a small group on Zionist activists to study the “hot spots” so that these folks can come back and teach others about the truth of Israel’s precarious national security position.

In April, again in Washington DC at “Muslim Brotherhood Day” in the US Capitol our team confronted hundreds of Muslim Brotherhood activists and their well-known leaders and completely exposed this event as an anti-American activity of the Muslim Brotherhood. Soon after that operation, our team was in Garland Texas live-streaming Pamela Geller’s ground-breaking First Amendment event when we all were attacked by two Muslim jihadists with automatic weapons.

Thankfully, the Garland Police killed both Islamic State terrorists on the spot.

In August our team traveled to Santa Barbara California to help lead a national security briefing and public Rally to continue our critically important work on stopping the Iran nuke deal.

Then, just a few days ago we were in Washington DC to cover and report on the historic Stop Iran Rally at the U.S. Capitol that featured an array of speakers including Sen. Cruz, Frank Gaffney, Donald Trump, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Michele Bachmann and many other great Americans…speaking to over 10,000 America patriots!

As I look back over these 14 years, I know full well that America, Israel and the West will be in this fight at least another 14 years. One cannot think about today, September 11 and NOT be determined as ever to give all we can each and every day.

Yes, my team and I want to be in this fight but as things look today, as crazy as it sounds we will be phasing out of action in the near future.

It seems we are experiencing the consequences of our own success.

One of our messages is that all Americans MUST get involved in the political process and help good people get elected. In that Florida is such a significant “swing-state” and that there are so many good people running for President, there has been a dramatic shift in donations going away from us and to the various candidates. On one level this is good but I dare say that the work of The United West, at $9,000 a MONTH goes a whole lot further than a ONE-MINUTE, $9,000 TV COMMERCIAL for a candidate with 2% support! And of course, much of this money is completely wasted against the media juggernaut of Donald Trump.

As America starts our fifteenth year in the Global War on Terror and you believe that The United West has a significant role to help defend America, Israel and the West, please consider helping us stay in the fight.

Florida: Muslim involved in Garland Islamic State attack arrested for 9/11 plot

It is safe to say that “Joshua Ryne Goldberg” is a convert to Islam. How did he get the idea that his new religion called for mass murder of those who don’t believe in it? Why are the peaceful aspects of Islam that are so obvious to John Kerry and David Cameron and the U.S. Catholic bishops so hard for people like Joshua Ryne Goldberg to find, while the violent passages that Kerry and Cameron and the bishops are sure do not exist call out so insistently to young men like Goldberg?

“Florida Man Who Claimed to Inspire Garland Attack Arrested for 9/11 Memorial Bomb Plot,” by Garrett Pelican, WTLV, September 10, 2015 (thanks to Larry):

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 20-year-old Clay County man has been arrested on federal charges surrounding an alleged plot to bomb upcoming 9/11 memorial ceremonies in Kansas City, Mo., according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Joshua Ryne Goldberg, 20, of Orange Park, is charged with distribution of information relating to explosives, destructive devices, and weapons of mass destruction, according to a criminal complaint.

He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Reached at home, Goldberg’s father told First Coast News he was “shocked” by the allegations against his son.

Between July and September, Goldberg had been in contact online with an individual, who — unbeknownst to Goldberg — was actually an informant. Goldberg had allegedly provided the individual with details on how to construct a bomb and instructed him to fashion a pressure cooker bomb and fill it with nails, metal and other shrapnel dipped in rat poison.

According to the complaint, Goldberg directed the individual to place the bomb at a memorial in Kansas City, Mo. that was commemorating the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Goldberg surfaced on the FBI’s radar after he claimed to have inspired the May 3 attack in Garland, Texas on the Muhammad Art Exhibit and Contest. That’s where two gunmen — later identified as Elton Simpson and Nadir Hamid Soofi — wearing body armor and carrying rifles opened fire on a police officer and security officer before they were shot and killed by police.

Ahead of that attack, Goldberg’s Twitter account — Australi Witness — posted tweets calling for an attack on the art show, posting a map of the Curtis Culwell Center where the show was staged and urging anyone nearby to attack “with your weapons, bombs and knives,” the complaint said.

The day of the attack, Twitter user @AusWitness 3 tweeted, “I’M BACK KUFFAR! DIE IN YOUR RAGE!” On the morning of the attack, Simpson’s account — Shariah is Light — retweeted that message.

In late July, the FBI told an informant to reach out to the social media user calling himself “Australi Witness” and “AusWitness,” who had posted messages on pro-Islamic State websites and claimed to be a Lebanese refugee living in Australia. In fact, it was Goldberg living in his parents’ home on Pine Road in Orange Park, according to the complaint.

In a conversation Aug. 17, Goldberg told the informant, “Hopefully there will be some jihad on the anniversary of 9/11.” Days later, when the source suggested he was willing to take part in an attack, Goldberg allegedly provided him with detailed plans to make explosives, including pipe bombs.

The instructions, according to the FBI, were “accurate” and would actually work.

On Aug. 20, Goldberg elaborated. “Have you decided what kind of attack you want to carry out on 9/11, akhi? I was thinking a bombing. … We could make pipe bombs and detonate them at a large public event… It needs to be big,” he’s quoted as saying in the indictment.

Afterward, Goldberg lobbied for his informant to fashion a bomb out of a pressure cooker, akin to the device used in the Boston Marathon bombing, the complaint said. He allegedly suggested his contact fill the device with shrapnel and poison to inflict maximum damage, saying his contact should use “shards of metal and nails. … Broken glass would probably work too. Just put as much sharp stuff as you can in there.”

He also picked out a location to stage the attack, a stair climbing event on Sept. 13 in Kansas City in which firefighters and first responders honor those who died in the Sept. 11 attacks, calling it “the perfect place,” according to the complaint. He selected the event because it would attract the largest number of people on 9/11

At some point in the discussion, Goldberg allegedly told his contact, “…Get FAR away from the bomb, brother. There’s going to be chaos when it goes off. Shrapnel, blood, and panicking Kuffar will be everywhere.”

“If you can, dip the screws and other shrapnel in rat poison before putting them in. That way, the kuffar who get hit by them will be more likely to die,” Goldberg told the informant.

Agents raided Goldberg’s home Wednesday. While speaking with investigators, he allegedly acknowledged using social media to call for attacks in Garland, Texas and providing an associate with instructions on how to produce a pressure cooker bomb….

Minnesota Muslim pleads guilty to conspiring to aid the Islamic State

Saudi Arabia won’t take any Syrian refugees, but offers to build 200 mosques for them in Germany

Georgia Governor: No thanks to Syrians, we have enough refugees!

Back in 2013, when I attended an Office of Refugee Resettlement meeting in Lancaster, PA, government officials identified Georgia as having a‘pocket of resistance’ because the Republican Governor, Nathan Deal, had asked the feds to stop sending so many, that Georgia was overloaded.  So it is no surprise that Gov. Deal is saying the same thing today.  (And, it looks like his appeal to the US State Department fell on deaf ears!)

From the Atlanta Journal Constitution:

Gov. Nathan Deal’s administration doesn’t want to see the number of refugees resettling in Georgia increase, despite pleas from humanitarian officials urging the U.S. to take in substantially more Syrians fleeing their war-torn country.

In an interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Tuesday, Deal urged a cautious approach to the desperate refugee crisis unfolding across the Mediterranean Sea and Europe. The governor repeated his assertion – disputed by some advocates – that Georgia takes in more than its fair share of refugees.

[….]

Deal’s administration confirmed Tuesday it has asked the State Department to keep the number of refugees resettling in the Peach State “static” going into the next fiscal year.

“We will be welcoming,” Deal told the AJC. “But we want to make sure we’re not taking a disproportionately large share of them compared to other parts of the country.”

This is very interesting considering Reed has been promoting Atlanta as a welcoming city.

Deal’s wary approach to the escalating crisis was echoed by Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, typically one of the region’s most forceful advocates of a welcoming policy to immigrants and refugees. He said he needed more time to evaluate the city’s position and that he would likely follow the lead of the Obama administration, which is weighing its options.

“I’m not going to get ahead of the federal government with regards to the Syrian refugee crisis,” he said.

[….]

The Deal administration has previously called on the U.S. State Department to sharply reduce the numbers of refugees being resettled in Georgia, citing state and local taxpayer costs associated with taking in the refugees, school budget shortfalls and other concerns.

Local resettlement agencies have long pushed back, beyond arguing that Georgia has a moral obligation to embrace refugees. They say refugees attract millions of dollars in federal aid money, form a ready pool of eager employees and ultimately create businesses and pay taxes.

LOL! A reduction of 16 refugees sure doesn’t sound like a reduction to me!

Last year, the U.S. State Department confirmed it had limited the number of all refugees coming to Georgia, based partly on the Deal administration’s concerns. The number of refugees who have been resettling in Georgia dropped by less than 1 percent over the past two fiscal years, from 2,710 to 2,694.

Deal is right here.  The resettlement contractors put “natural enemies” together in some cities expecting (naively?) that the mythical magic melting pot will do its work and the lion will lay down with the lamb or some such foolishness!

“When they decide where they bring in individuals,” Deal said, “they need to do a better job of making sure they haven’t put an over-concentration of people from different countries, some of whom have been natural enemies of each other. Trying to put them side-by-side in a small community like Clarkston is not doing a service to those individuals.”

EndNote:  I don’t know whatever happened with Athens, GA where the mayor (a Democrat) wanted answers from the feds before she put a stamp of approval on a refugee program for Athens.  Does anyone know whatever happened? Did the contractor, the International Refugee Committee, set up shop there?

Texas: Teenager Arrested for Attempting to Join the Islamic State

A teenager from Texas was shocked to find out that after aborting his attempt to join the Islamic State in Syria and flying back home, he is facing charges of conspiracy and attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State.

If convicted, Asher Abid Khan, 19, from a suburb of Houston, could face 30 years in prison.

Khan flew to Istanbul, planning to cross the border into Syria and join the terror organization. In a conversation with a friend on Facebook, he professed his desire to “die as a Shaheed (martyr),” saying he was “looking forward to dying in Allah’s cause and meeting Allah.”

While waiting in the Turkish airport, Khan listened to pleading messages from family members on his voicemail to return.

Khan had a change of heart, picked up his phone and said to his father, “I want to come home.” Without leaving the airport, Khan took a flight back to Houston.

Khan is one of many American youth who have been radicalized online. Since 2014, the FBI has made an arrest at a rate of one per week in connection with the Islamic State. More than 60 people have been charged with providing material support to the terror group along with other terrorism-related charges.

Unlike Europe, the U.S. has few deradicalization programs in place for cases like Khan. Moreover, because these programs have only recently been started, there is no documentation available to attest to their success or failure rates.

While time behind bars alleviates the short-term threat, it has been documented that U.S. prisons are providing fertile ground for radicalization (see our video below).

Khan’s lawyer, Thomas Berg, says that when Khan boarded the plane home, he also changed his mind about his approach to Islam. Berg is a former colonel in the Army reserves. He served in Guantanamo Bay, where he helped set up the first military commissions, and in Afghanistan.

“He came home and did the right thing,” Berg said. “If the government was smart, they would exploit that. My kid could go to the mosques and talk about redemption.”

He argues that if he is sent to jail, there is no incentive for the next young person to change his mind about joining the Islamic State, since the FBI’s approach offers no way back.

However, the FBI says that even months after Khan returned from Turkey, he told a friend to keep an open mind about the Islamic State and said that America was the “Great Deceiver.”

“We don’t know what he is going to do in three years,” a senior law enforcement official said. “We’ll let the courts sort it out.”

“It is almost like playing Russian roulette,” said Andrew Arena, a former special agent in charge of the Detroit Field Office. “If you guess wrong, you got problems.”

However, Arena also acknowledged the limits of the American approach. “You’re not going to arrest your way out of this problem,” he said.
