Boston Imam with ties to Senior al Qaeda operative is keynote speaker for CAIR-PA banquet

Imam Suhaib Webb is the keynote CAIR-PA speaker.  Wikipedia.com reports in part:  Suhaid Webb was born William Webb in 1973 in Oklahoma to a Christian family.  He lost interest in religion and began engaging in delinquency by joining a local gang and became a local Hip-Hop DJ and producer.  

The Daily Caller reports in part:  Dzhokhar-Tsarnaevs imam shares ties with senior al Qaeda operative.

The Islamic organization that includes Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s mosque has ties to the al Qaeda operative that reportedly inspired Tsarnaev to carry out the Boston Marathon terrorist attack, according to FBI surveillance documents.

Tsarnaev, 19, was indicted Thursday on 30 criminal counts related to the April 15 bombing at the Boston Marathon, which was allegedly carried out by Tsarnaev and his late brother Tamerlan. The bombing left three people dead and numerous others injured, and resulted in a manhunt during which a Boston-area campus police officer was shot and killed.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev reportedly left a note in the boat he hid in during the manhunt claiming that he bombed the Boston Marathon as retribution for U.S. wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

“When you attack one Muslim, you attack all Muslims,” Tsarnaev wrote.

Prior to the Boston Marathon attack, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who attended the Islamic Society of Boston mosque in Cambridge, downloaded radical Islamic propagandafrom the Internet, including materials authored by Anwar al-Awlaki, the senior al Qaeda operative who was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Yemen on September 30, 2011. Tsarnaev also downloaded a summer 2010 edition of the al Qaeda magazine “Inspire,” which included bomb-making instructions and which is thought to have been the work of al-Awlaki.

Al-Awlaki lived in the United States between 1990 and 2002, when he moved to the United Kingdom before eventually relocating to Yemen, where he where worked for al-Qaeda and produced propaganda tapes and other materials urging Muslims to commit terrorist attacks against the United States.

Suhaib Webb, imam of the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center in Roxbury, spoke alongside al-Awlaki at a September 9, 2001 fundraiser at the University of California at Irvine, according to FBI surveillance documents. The fundraiser was intended to raise money for the legal defense of H. Rap Brown, an Atlanta-based Islamic radical who shot and killed two Georgia police officers. Webb and al-Awlaki helped raise $100,000 to defend Brown, who was eventually convicted for his crimes.

“Webb and Aulaki may be associated with the Muslim American Society,” according to the surveillance documents, which were prepared to investigate the unconfirmed possibility that al-Awlaki purchased plane tickets for some of the 9/11 hijackers.

An Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center spokesman told The Daily Caller that Webb did not know the full extent of al-Awlaki’s terrorist agenda when Webb was “working with him.”

FBI documents found that Webb and Awlaki were closely associated through the Muslim American Society, which many believe to be an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States.

Webb also served as imam of the sister organization of the mosque attended by Boston Marathon bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev. Before coming to Boston, Webb was the imam of the Islamic Society of Oklahoma City, which was home to Alton Nolen, the man who beheaded an innocent Oklahoma woman in September.

Twelve of Webb’s Islamic Society of Boston members “have either been killed, imprisoned, or declared fugitives due to their involvement in terrorist activity,” according to Americans for Peace and Tolerance.

Additionally, some of the reasons why many American’s are concerned about CAIR’s history and agenda are posted below:

  • CAIR chapters demonstrated in the streets across America to show their support for Hamas even declaring that “We are Hamas.” 
  • Omar Ahmad, Chairman and founder of the Council on American Islamic Relations, told a Muslim crowd Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.  At the Islamic Association of Palestine’s third annual convention in Chicago in November 1999, Omar Ahmad gave a speech at a youth session praising suicide bombers who kill themselves for Islam.  Fighting for freedom, fighting for Islam — that is not suicide. They kill themselves for Islam, he said.
  • Nihad Awad, CAIR Executive Director, said I am in support of the Hamasmovement.
  • Mustafa Carroll, executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth CAIR branch, told a crowd at a Muslim rally in Austin, Texas in 2013 If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land.
  • CAIR pressured the FBI in June 2013 to stop their Most Wanted advertising campaign which helped the FBI gain information regarding the whereabouts of dangerous terrorists.  The list of CAIR officials who have made apologetic comments in the public regarding terrorists is quite extensive.
  • The Council on American Islamic Relations is vigorously fighting bills in twenty state legislatures that would prohibit courts from considering provisions of foreign laws including Sharia if they are inconsistent with the United States and state constitutions.  Sharia law is antithetical to the rights and liberties afforded under the United States Constitution.
  • Ghassan Elashi, founder of CAIR’s Texas chapter, in 2009 received a 65-year prison sentence for funneling over $12 million from the Islamic charity known as the Holy Land Foundation to the jihad terrorist group Hamas, which is responsible for murdering hundreds of Israeli civilians.
  • Mousa Abu Marzook, a former CAIR official, was in 1995 designated by the U.S. government in 1995 as a “terrorist and Hamas leader.” He now is aHamas leader in Syria.
  • Randall Royer, CAIR’s former civil rights coordinator, in 2004 began serving a 20-year prison sentence for aiding al-Qaida and the Taliban against American troops in Afghanistan and recruiting for Lashkar e-Taiba, the jihadist group responsible for the 2008 Mumbai jihad massacres.
  • Bassem Khafagi, CAIR’s former community relations director, was arrested for involvement with the Islamic Assembly of North America, which was linked to al-Qaida. After pleading guilty to visa and bank fraud charges, Khafagi was deported.
  • Rabih Haddad, a former CAIR fundraiser, was deported for his work with the Global Relief Foundation (which he co-founded), a terror-financing organization.
  • CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case–so named by the Justice Department during the HLF trial.

Christ comes as Bridegroom but as a Thief If We Don’t Watch: Signs for Both Fit this Spring

“The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the…day of the LORD.” These signs this spring are parallel to when God “executed judgment” on Egypt and took Israel to a covenant, later saying, “I am married to you.” Watching is protective in Christ’s wedding parables and in biblical references to His coming as a thief, but we misunderstand the terms.

Before we discuss the solar and lunar eclipse pointing to Passover this spring, we see on the first page of the Bible that God appointed the sun and moon “to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times and days and years.”[i]

Mow’ed is the Hebrew word in the above text, also translated as “feasts of the LORD” in Leviticus 23[ii] where God gave seven holy convocations or annual Sabbaths like Passover.

We forget that the apostle Paul kept those appointed times[iii] after Calvary and said, “let us keep the feast.”[iv] He said they “are [not were, as some translations imply] a shadow of things to come,” don’t let anyone judge how you keep them.[v]

One commentary says, “The Lord Jesus was the foundation of the whole Jewish economy. Its imposing services were of divine appointment. They were designed to teach the people that at the time appointed One would come to whom those ceremonies pointed.”[vi]

Christians are looking for the Bridegroom’s coming and many assume it’s in the sky like a rapture. God came as Bridegroom to Egypt and took Israel to a covenant, later saying, “I am married to you.”[vii] “God shows no partiality.”[viii] He included Egyptians who chose to be protected by the blood as they became part of the “mixed multitude,” but He came as a thief to the rest of Egypt.

This year Passover is marked in a way that only God could mark it. “The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the…day of the Lord.”[ix]  While a solar eclipse might occur on any day in the year, God’s choice to do so at the same time that He designated the biblical New Year’s Day in Egypt[x] on March 20 seems unique. Furthermore, two weeks later Israel put blood on the doorpost and with the same timing this spring, Passover will have a blood moon–something that only God could do.

In the 1st paragraph we saw that the sun and moon mark ‘sacred times and…years.’  Some believe this year is a sabbatical year that comes every seven years.[xi]  Seven years ago we had the economic crash in 2008 and seven years before that, it was 9-11. Do we get the idea?  This is unique timing and something big is coming, but what?  The text in the previous paragraph says it’s “the day of the Lord.”  That’s the Old Testament term for end-times, and it begins with an earthquake, Joel 2:10,11.

The apostle Paul said, “the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night, for when they say, ‘Peace and Safety,’ then sudden destruction comes upon them…let us watch!”[xii]  Watching is protective.  Christ said, “If you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief.”[xiii]

But what do we mean by “watch?” Watch is translated from the Greek word, gregoreo, and it means to be awake.  We can’t be awake every night, but Passover was the only night in the year that watching was commanded.[xiv]  Israel was to eat the Passover lamb and leave nothing till morning.

In place of the Passover lamb, Christians understand that the Savior instituted the Lord’s Supper and then went to the garden with His disciples, telling them to watch and pray as an example to us.[xv]

We should do the same by mentally contemplating the closing scenes of Christ’s life and entering into fellowship with Him.  Our Lord calls to us across the ages, just as he emptied Himself that dark lonely night, asking only one thing of His disciples, His friends, “Watch with Me.”   He desires us to be awake with Him as He sweat His precious blood and was tortured for us that night.  As an aid to staying awake in pursuit of true spiritual communion with our Savior, reading chapters on the closing scenes of Christ’s life, available online are helpful, interspersed with prayer.

When Christ said, “You don’t know the day or the hour,” we misunderstand His clues.  The Greek word for “know” is oida, and it means to be aware, consider, understand.  Christ was saying, you don’t understand, and each time He said it, He gave an example that fit a provision for Passover a month later, “as the days of Noah,” when the Flood came with Passover timing, but in the 2nd spring month.[xvi]

Noah entered the ark on the 10th day—the same date that the sacrifice was selected later in Egypt.[xvii] When people refused Noah’s invitation to be saved, they selected themselves for a sacrifice.

Again, Passover in the 2nd month is suggested when five women missed the wedding.  Christ said, “Watch,” [a clue for Passover] You don’t [understand], for it’s “like a man traveling to a far country.”[xviii]

Israelites didn’t travel in winter, and if they took a long journey in spring and couldn’t get back to Jerusalem for Passover, they were to keep it in the 2nd spring month.[xix]

This timing clue is a conjunction linking Christ’s parable of His coming as Bridegroom with His last parable in which wise stewards were ready for their master’s return, but the slothful servant was not.

This clue is really about Christ who took the long journey to heaven. His return as Bridegroom and for judgment [as on Egypt] must conform to His laws that are in effect “until heaven and earth pass.”[xx]

The Bible offers a message of warning for impending judgment. It says, “Fear God…the time of His judgment is come.”[xxi] But how do we give a message of warning if we don’t know when it is?  The biblical pattern is Passover when God said, “I will execute judgment.”[xxii]

That’s also when He came as Bridegroom and married Israel in a covenant. Paul included that history of the Exodus when he said, “all these things happened to them as examples* and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.”[xxiii] *The KJV margin for examplessays types, implying an end-time antitype.

Now we come to the timing clue for thief.  Christ said, “If the goodman of the house had known… he would have watched and not have suffered his house to be broken up.”[xxiv] The Bible explains itself, and there is only one Old Testament use of “goodman” in the King James Bible. “The goodman is not at home. He is gone on a long journey…and will come home on the yom kece [full moon].”[xxv]  Passover comes on a full moon, but “long journey” is a specific clue for 2nd Passover as we saw when five virgins missed the wedding in Matthew 25:12-14.

These clues fit both Christ’s coming as the Bridegroom and His coming as a thief.[xxvi] Which way He comes for us depends on whether we are watching for Him or not.

All of these clues support Christ’s fairness in telling us to watch—be awake.  Do we really think He wanted ALL Christians to be awake every night for the past 2000 years?  It wouldn’t be fair—and we cannot be reined up to a time of impending judgment any and every day of the year.

“GOD does nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”[xxvii] This must apply to His plans for judgment. So what does He want to reveal? The next sentence says, “A lion has roared!” We forget that Amos 1:1,2 says, “Before the earthquake…the Lord roars.” It’s about an earthquake.

Zephaniah 1:10 shows “a great crashing from the hills” in the context of “the day of the Lord.” Verse 8 says,  “In the day of the LORD’S sacrifice [Passover] I will punish…the king’s children…clothed with strange apparel.”  [No wedding garment; Christians believe they are the king’s children].

This emphasis on Passover may seem strange, but Passover commemorates the greatest events of the Old and New Testaments.  Christ endured hell for us[xxviii] and He asks that we enter into His sufferings one night in the year and pray that God will pass over us at that appointed time when God said at the first Passover, “I will execute judgment.”[xxix]

In a nation where the Supreme Court approved the intra-womb holocaust of 57 million infants, we are worse than Egypts killing of infants and we more deserving of judgment than Sodom for parading their sin, also approved by the Supreme Court. But there’s a higher court and judgment is impending!

Going to Egypt for a time of judgment, Moses faced death for failing to circumcise his son.  We face judgment for failing to watch and pray on Passover as Christ said.  The law that enjoins watching is in effect “till heaven and earth pass.”[xxx] Over 100 times, the word Torah is translated as law and it means the instructions in the five books of Moses.  We don’t have to kill animals, but there is much we are failing to see, as the “blind” imagery of Revelation 3:17 suggests.

“These times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world.”[xxxi] This is not when Christ comes in the sky—it will be too late to repent then.

But if we wait till God’s judgments fall before we say anything, God will hold us accountable for their loss of life.[xxxii] It’s like you are at church before worship begins and you get a phone call that a bomb is planted in the sanctuary.  You don’t shrug it off and say, I doubt it.  You must convey a swift warning!

There is no good reason why we have to be like Isaiah 56:10 says, “His watchmen are  blind:  they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.”  It’s not a sin to sleep, but yes, maybe so if it’s when Christ said watch (and be a watchman with a warning.)

In another sense, these annual Sabbaths were mikvah—rehearsals in anticipation of when the One to whom they pointed would come.  After 1400 years of rehearsals, the Jews missed the point of the sacrificial part of Passover, but Christians have had longer to see how the imagery in Christ’s wedding parables fits Passover. The midnight cry, loins girded and being awake[xxxiii] are from the first Passover.[xxxiv]

This year is parallel to that time in Egypt. The solar eclipse on March 20 marks the same time that God indicated to Moses, but instead of blood on the doorposts, it’s on the moon.  Do we get it? God executed judgment then and we might be naïve if we think judgment won’t fall on the U.S. But shall the world have no warning? Noah warned them. “As it was in the days of Noah,” we may seem crazy!

Lao dicea means people judging.  The church is lukewarm with materialism and the messenger [aggelos] has the door closed to Christ/Truth.[xxxv]  We don’t need to shed the blood of lambs—God is putting blood on the moon, but why not open our churches for the Lord’s Supper on 2nd Passover as the best of clues suggest for the return of the Bridegroom?

We must be watching “that when He comes and knocks [we] may open to Him immediately.”  If so, “He will make [us] ruler over all that He has,” Luke 12:36,44. This is not some Internet scam.  It’s a promise from the One who is going to make the sun dark and turn the moon to blood so we will know. The woman clothed in the sun in Revelation 12 has the moon under her feet—a lunar understanding.

2nd Passover is counted from the thin visible crescent seen in the western sky after sunset on Sunday evening, April 19, making 2nd Passover, Sunday evening, May 3, when churches around the world should celebrate communion and have an all-night focus on the closing scenes of Christ’s life with prayer that we can faithfully be His through the end-times.

This is not a visible coming. We just might find Christ shows up at the rehearsal as suggested in Luke 12:35-37. Let’s do all we can to invite others.  The king sends His servants to bid others to the wedding.  Every wedding invitation has a date and all three wedding parables have Passover imagery, like the midnight cry.[xxxvii] we can do it!

It is a sure sign that the advocates of the “global warming” and “climate change” hoaxes know that the public no longer believes that the former is occurring or that the latter represents an immediate, global threat.

Even though the “climate skeptics”, scientists who have produced research proving false methodology and the conclusions based on it are quite few in number, an effort to silence them by smearing their reputations and denying funding for their work has been launched and it is based entirely on a lie.

Scientists are supposed to be skeptical, not only of other scientist’s findings, but their own. Good science must be able to reproduce the results of published research. In the case of the many computer models cited as proof that global warming was occurring or would, the passing years have demonstrated that none were accurate.

As Joseph L. Bast, president of The Heartland Institute and Joseph A. Morris, an attorney who has fought in several countries to defend free speech, wrote in a February 24 commentary, “The Crucifixion of Dr. Wei-Hock Soon”, of an article co-authored with Christopher Monckton, Matt Briggs, and David Legates, and published in the Science Bulletin, a publication of the Chinese Academy of Sciences “The article reveals what appears to be an error in the computer models used to predict global warming that leads models to over-estimate future warming by a factor of three.” (Emphasis added) Their commentary has been downloaded more than 10,000 times!

“If the work of Soon et al is confirmed by other scientists, the ‘global warming crisis’ may need to be cancelled and we can all enjoy lower taxes, fewer regulations, and more personal freedom.” However, “having failed to refute the article, environmentalists turned to smearing the authors.”

ColdThermometerLittle wonder the “Warmists” are worried; the Earth has been in a cooling cycle since 1996. People are noticing just how cold this record-breaking and record-setting winter is.

The attack on Dr. Soon began with a Greenpeace news release that was republished on the front page of The New York Times on February 22nd. Despite its august reputation, The Times’ coverage of climate issues has been an utter disgrace for decades. As public interest waned, it eliminated its staff of reporters exclusively devoted to writing about the “environment.”

Myron Ebell, a climate change skeptic and director of Global Warming and International Environmental Policy at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, noted on February 27th that the Greenpeace attack on Dr. Soon of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics claimed they had secured $1.2 million in funding for his research over the past decade and that it came from energy corporations, electric utilities, and charitable foundations related to those companies. The truth, however, is “that the grants were made not to Dr. Soon but to the Smithsonian, which never complained while taking its sizable cut off the top.”

Columnist Larry Bell who is also an endowed professor at the University of Houston, disputed the Greenpeace claim, saying, “First, let’s recognize that the supporting FOIA documents referred to an agreement between the Smithsonian (not Dr. Soon) and Southern Company Services, Inc., whereby 40 percent of that more than $1.2 million went directly to the Smithsonian” leaving “an average funding of $71,000 a year for the past eleven years to support the actual research activities.”

Focusing on Greenpeace and its Climate Investigations Center which describes itself as “a group funded by foundations seeking to limit the risks of climate change”, Bell asked “Do these activist organizations make their estimated $360,000,000 annual funding publicly available?” Bell said “Ad hominem assaults disparaging the integrity of this leading authority on relationships between solar phenomena and global climate are unconscionable.”

In his article, “Vilifying realist science—and scientists”, Paul Driessen, a policy advisor to the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT), noted that in 2012 Greenpeace USA was the recipient of $32,791,149 and that this is true of other environmental pressure groups that in 2012 secured $111,915.138 for the Environmental Defense Fund, $98,701,707 for the Natural Resources Defense Council, $97,757,678 for the Sierra Club, and, for Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection, $19,150,215.

“All told,” noted Driessen, “more than 16,000 American environmental groups collect(ed) total annual revenues of over $13.4 billion (2009 figures). Only a small part of that comes from membership dues and individual contributions.” With that kind of money you can do a lot of damage to scientist’s reputation.

They fear that the public may actually learn the truth about “global warming” and the fear-mongering claims about “climate change” does not stop with just the environmental organizations. At the same time The New York Times was printing the Greenpeace lies, U.S. Senators Ed Market (D-Mass), Barbara Boxer (D-CA), and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) joined together on February 25th to send letters to 107 companies, trade associations, and non-profit groups demanding comprehensive information about all funding of research on climate or related issues.

Among the groups receiving the letter were two for whom I am a policy advisor, The Heartland Institute and CFACT, but others include the Competitive Enterprise Institute, the George C. Marshall Institute, the American Legislative Exchange Council, and the American Energy Alliance.

Following The New York Times article, Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ), the ranking Democrat on the House Natural Resources Committee, sent letters to the presidents of seven universities asking them to provide details about seven professors who are either prominent global warming skeptics.

As Rich Lowrey, editor of the National Review, pointed out on February 27th, that “Science as an enterprise usually doesn’t need political enforcers. But proponents of a climate alarmism that demands immediate action to avert worldwide catastrophe won’t and can’t simply let the science speak for itself.”

slanderThis is not fact-finding. It is an act of intimidation.

And it looks like a carefully organized effort to quash any research that might dispute “global warming” or “climate change” as defined by the Greens and by both the President and the Secretary of State as the greatest threat we and the rest of the world faces.

The greatest threat is the scores of environmental organizations that have been exaggerating and distorting their alleged “science” in order to thwart development here and around the world that would enhance everyone’s life. Now they are attacking real scientists, those who are skeptical of their claims, to silence them.

This is what fascists do.

Al-Shabaab has published its first magazine in English AMKA: East Africa’s Baya’ah. Baya’ah (Arabic: بَيْعَة‎) in Islamic terminology, is an oath of allegiance to a leader. It is known to have been practiced by the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

From Syria to Nigeria, and closer to home here in East Africa, the Kuffar [non-Muslim] continue to parrot their old, tired slogan that: “Jihad is over.” For anyone with an ounce of honesty, it’s obvious that Jihad is growing globally with lightening speed. In East Africa, the lions of Harakat-al-Shabaab-al-Mujahideen, bolstered by the noble forces of the Ansar al-Mujahideen, stand firm to defend Islam against the evil designs of the Crusaders and their puppets, the United Nations and AMISOM.

Just months ago, on September 1, 2014, the beloved Amir Sheikh Mukthar Abu Zubeyr (may Allah accept him), was elevated to the ranks of venerable martyrs. In their folly, the Kuffar celebrated, mistaken in their belief that “removing from the battlefield” the Amir would weaken the resolve of the Mujahideen in Somalia. On the contrary, the martyrdom of the Amir serves as an example to which the brothers around the world aspire: in Australia, Canada, France and Kenya, courageous brothers have proven their desire to sacrifice themselves with open hearts in defense of Islam and the righteous path of Allah.

Oh Brothers and Sisters, followers of Tawheed, the time has now come for East Africa to arise with vengeance in defense of Islam. Our first step towards this glorious obligation must be the pledge of allegiance to the beloved Amir Sheikh Ahmad Umar Abu Ubaidah (may Allah guide him with wisdom).

Thus we in Al-Muhajiroun – Emigrants of East Africa swear our solemn and irrevocable Baya’ah to Amir Abu Ubaidah and Amir Ayman Zawahiri (may Allah preserve him).

We dedicate the first issue of Amka to our pledge of allegiance in order that it inspires others to follow suit, and that the pathfinders of Jihad in East Africa will be borne upward by a mighty tide of believers who will sweep the Kuffar from these Muslim lands once and forever.

The threat doctrine of the free world’s enemies is Islam.

“Iran cleric vows to ‘raise flag of Islam on White House’ to avenge Israeli attack,” Jerusalem Post, February 27, 2015 (thanks to Jerk Chicken):

A senior Iranian cleric with close ties to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed on Friday that “we will raise the flag of Islam over the White House” in response to the killing of Hezbollah and Revolutionary Guards operatives on the Golan Heights last month.

According to foreign media, Israeli attack helicopters killed six Hezbollah terrorists along with six Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) operatives, including a high-ranking general.

Among the Hezbollah operatives killed in the strike was Jihad Mougniyeh, the son of Hezbollah’s former military leader, Imad Moughniyeh, who according to Western intelligence sources, was in the midst of setting up a terrorism base on the Syrian Golan and plotting rocket attacks, bombings, anti-tank missile strikes, and cross-border infiltrations against Israel.

The cleric, Ali Shirazi, made the remarks to the official Revolutionary Guards web site. His comments were reported by the Saudi-owned news network Al Arabiya.

“The resistance front led by Iran would retaliate from the global arrogance of killing [Iranian officers] and Hezbollah men” on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, Shirazi said during a ceremony honoring Iranian soldiers who died in Syria and Iraq.

The cleric added that Iran continues to make its presence felt in a number of areas throughout the region, including Yemen, where a sect affiliated with Shi’ite Islam has overthrown a ruling government and taken power.

“The Islamic Republic directly supports the Houthis in Yemen and Hezbollah in Lebanon and Shiite militias in Syria and Iraq,” he said.

The SPLC labels Christian organizations who support the Biblical definition of marriage as “hate” groups and falsely disseminates this information to liberal news media, and military and law enforcement training sessions. SPLC’s listing resulted in the violent shooting attack against a pro-family group’s office in 2012.

Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson CPAC speech was overtly Christian and politically incorrect. He hit his critics for saying he was “too religious.” He retorted by quoting the founders, including George Washington who said the young nation’s military men should not curse or be drunk.

Phil Robertson also reminded the audience that the founders were godly and relied on Providence for their miraculous victory against the British. They believed that happiness was contingent on being “godly” and “having Jesus.”

What was his “aggressive rhetoric against Muslims”? What were his “incredibly reckless” remarks? He said:

And:

“The Islamist death-cult has declared war on the world.”

In response, instead of declaring their loyalty to Australia and showing themselves to be on his side against the terrorists, Muslim leaders in Australia are claiming victim status. How unfortunately predictable.

“Tony Abbott under fire from Muslim community after national security speech,” by Tom Decent, Sydney Morning Herald, February 25, 2015:

Muslim community leaders have voiced their anger at Prime Minister Tony Abbott over his national security speech on Monday, saying it did nothing but inflame tensions and belittle the efforts of Muslims leaders working to decrease community antagonism.

The Lebanese Muslim Association condemned the “aggressive rhetoric against Muslims” employed by Mr Abbott on Monday, labelling it “politically opportunistic” and unnecessary.

“The Prime Minister’s comments are incredibly reckless,” said Samier Dandan, President of the LMA. “Few would fail to see this newfound focus on national security as anything other than an attempt at gaining public approval, especially in light of the contemporary political climate.”

In a national security address on Monday, Mr Abbott argued the Islamic community could be be doing more to stop the spread of extremism.

“I’ve often heard Western leaders describe Islam as a religion of peace,” Mr Abbott said. “I wish more Muslim leaders would say that more often and mean it.”

Head of the Arab Council of Australia, Randa Kattan, said the comments were completely unhelpful.

“I’m really fired up about this, I couldn’t sleep last night,” Ms Kattan said. “The top man [Mr Abbott] needs to quit making these comments, they are not helpful.

“It is counterproductive and extremely insulting to many of us who have been working really hard on this. It just inflames sentiments that are bordering on hatred and racism.”

Ms Kattan said non-Muslims would be affected and would have to fan “not embers, but flames of racism” as a result.

“Anybody who looks like us [Muslims] has been tarnished now,” Ms Kattan said. “It impacts on wider groups who look like us, or might have olive skin, people can’t tell the difference sometimes.

“They are not unanimous objects, they are living breathing human beings that have lives, that have children. They want to continue living these lives.”

Keysar Trad, a spokesman for the Islamic Friendship Association of Australia, was just as unhappy with Mr Abbott’s agenda.

He said he could not believe the Prime Minister talked down the efforts of Islamic groups.

“The government knows fully well how hard the Muslim community is working to help protect and improve the safety and security of Australia,” Mr Trad said. “Nothing has changed, I doubt they could pinpoint to anything we are doing less of than we are doing.

“This kind of message coming from a Prime Minister is very unhelpful in the circumstances.”

Islamic State preparing to declare Islamic emirate in Lebanon

The Islamic State is going to keep advancing until it is stopped, while our learned, tenured analysts assure us that it is a purely “nationalist” movement. “ISIS preparing to declare Islamic emirate in Lebanon: sources,” by Antoine Ghattas Saab, The Daily Star, February 23, 2015 (thanks to Jerk Chicken):

ISIS is preparing military plans to declare an Islamic emirate in Lebanon very soon to serve as a geographical extension of the so-called “Islamic State” announced by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in Iraq last year, security sources said.

ISIS fighters have demanded support from the militant group in northern Syria to achieve this goal, the sources said.

They added that the ISIS command has begun preparations to set up a military organizational committee tasked with running Lebanese affairs and considering Lebanon as part of its state.

However, ISIS is facing difficulties in choosing a Lebanese commander for this mission. The reported appointment of the fugitive preacher Ahmad al-Assir for this post was merely a trial balloon, the sources said.

They added that arrangements to form an ISIS command for the Lebanon emirate were taking place under the supervision of the group commander Khalaf al-Zeyabi Halous, codenamed “Abu Musaab Halous,” a Syrian who had played a key role in the ISIS offensive to capture the Raqqa province in 2013.

Abu Musaab Halous, accompanied by a number of ISIS military commanders, recently visited the Qalamoun region on the Lebanese-Syrian border, where he met with field commanders with whom he discussed the creation of security and military formations between Qalamoun and Lebanon, the sources said.

In addition to the fact that the adventure of setting up an Islamic emirate in Lebanon has not received the green light from the powers backing ISIS, the group’s attempt expand into Lebanon might be doomed to failure, the sources added.

In the meantime, an influential party in Lebanon has received important information indicating that ISIS is bent on recruiting more suicide bombers equipped with explosives belts to target Shiite gatherings in Beirut and the southern suburbs as well as French and Western interests, while the Iranian Embassy in Beirut, which was targeted with a deadly twin suicide attack in November 2013, is still vulnerable to another assault.

As Lebanon faces growing security threats, military assistance to the Lebanese Army is expected to be stepped up to help the country stand on its feet.

The United States will provide the Lebanese Army with six Super Cobra fighter aircraft as part of the U.S. military aid to the Army, reports said. The aircraft are manufactured by the Bell military helicopter company….

Leading Egyptian journalist Ibrahim Issa recently stated the case against the Islamic Caliphate. “If you say that the Caliphate was the model of excellence… you are insisting upon a stupid, nonsensical, and meaningless lie,” said Issa on his Nugum FM radio show. The video was posted on the Internet on February 3, 2015.

Issa, who moderates a daily talk show on the Egyptian ON TV and has edited several leading Egyptian newspapers, was a harsh critic of Mubarak. In 2007, he received a prison sentence, but was later pardoned by Mubarak.

This journalist must be protected by Egyptian President al-Sisi to say this publicly and remain alive.

As Obama Gets His Way America is Losing Hers

Once, or actually much more than once Obama gets his way at America’s expense.  Recently, President Obama did not take long to veto the needed Keystone pipeline bill as he promised.  At the very least, the necessary pipeline would have created many hundreds of construction and permanent jobs. The needed supply of oil would have also contributed to our nation’s petroleum inventory. Also America’s position as an oil exporting nation would have been enhanced. Unfortunately, because of an ignorant based choice of American voters, our republic is now enduring perhaps the most anti American president in our nation’s history.  His biggest rival for most anti American president might be Woodrow Wilson. He supported the injurious Federal Reserve System we put up with today, along with the League of Nations and the promotion of harsh democrat party style racism. Wilson also supported a powerful centralized federal government.

I tried, but failed miserably to find at least one major decision or action that President Obama has taken that strongly benefits America. I even reached out to several Democrat Party supporters of Obama and requested that they please instruct me on any major policies of the president that has positively affected or strengthened America. (Crickets!!!!) HA! Even they were unable to even make anything up, let alone tell me something that Mr. Obama has actually done to benefit our nation.

It is amazing how certain people claim that those on the political left, especially politicians and professors are smarter than the rest of us. Thus when they secure even a modicum of authority, they use it to run roughshod over any law, anybody, or any tradition in order to inflict their progressive will upon the rest of us. The FCC decision to do to the internet what has been heaped upon the U.S. medical industry is evidence of that fact.

The Constitution clearly calls on the government to protect our republic from enemies both foreign and domestic. Yet the president has diligently worked to prevent border patrol agents from inhibiting law breaking illegal immigrants from strolling into our sovereign nation.  Why? Because they want to.  I thank God that the great state of Texas is leading a legal battle to restore the common sense practice of protecting our borders.  Speaking of protecting our Republic!  Dedicated muslim terrorist organizations, such as ISIS and Hezbollah along with enemy nations like Iran have vowed to destroy us and even kill president Obama. But what has he done?  For starters, Mr. Obama has appointed numerous America, Christian Black, and Jewish hating dedicated Muslims to important positions in our military and other federal government departments.

At the same time, thanks to the President’s anti U.S. military stance as well as drastic cutbacks in some weapons systems, navy vessels and maintenance.  America is now incapable of engaging two major wars or battles simultaneously. Both Russia and China are building up their massive armies and missile systems. Meanwhile, the United States continues to less than halfheartedly deal with dedicated Muslims who are on a mission to kill, steal from, and destroy America.

Because the progressives supposedly know more than the rest of us, they united with President Obama and saddled the rest of us with Obamacare. So now at the expense of personal choice and citizen government, certain medical procedures and overall rising costs, Mr. Obama got his way. For the sake of our Republic, I pray that President Obama and Congress will heed the advice of Presidential candidate, Dr. Ben Carson.  “As president, my plan to defeat radical Islamic terrorists would be to “destroy them first” instead of waiting to see what they will do to us and reacting to it.”

Thomas Jefferson understood that, as did General George Patton, and others who chose to govern America or deal with our enemies on behalf of our nations interests, as opposed to getting their way at America’s expense.

According to the U.S. Department of State, Office of the Historian:

The adoption of the Constitution in 1789 gave the U.S. Government the power to levy taxes and to raise and maintain armed forces, powers which had been lacking under the Articles of Confederation. In 1794, in response to Algerian seizures of American ships, Congress authorized construction of the first 6 ships of the U.S. Navy. In 1801, the Pasha of Tripoli, Yusuf Qaramanli, citing late payments of tribute, demanded additional tribute and declared war on the United States. The United States successfully defeated Qaramanli’s forces with a combined naval and land assault by the United States Marine Corps. The U.S. treaty with Tripoli concluded in 1805 included a ransom for American prisoners in Tripoli, but no provisions for tribute.

In 1812, the new Dey of Algiers, Hajji Ali, rejected the American tribute negotiated in the 1795 treaty as insufficient and declared war on the United States. Algerian corsairs captured an American ship several weeks later. In accordance with an agreement between the Dey and British diplomats, the Algerian declaration was timed to coincide with the start of the War of 1812 between Britain and the United States. The war with Britain prevented the U.S. Government from either confronting Algerian forces or ransoming U.S. captives in Algiers. Once the Treaty of Ghent ended war with Britain, President James Madison was able to request that Congress declare an authorization of force on Algiers, which it did on March 3, 1815. The U.S. Navy, greatly increased in size after the War of 1812, was able send an entire squadron, led by Commodore Stephen Decatur, to the Mediterranean.

Coalition of African-American Pastors: Biased SCOTUS Justices must Recuse Themselves from Same-Sex Marriage Case

Rev. Williams Owens, President and Founder of the Coalition of African-American Pastors (CAAP) called on Supreme Court Justices Ginsburg and Kagan to recuse themselves from the same-sex marriage case to be heard by the Court this session, citing their stated bias. In order to preserve the integrity of the Court, CAAP also announced its intention of launching a petition campaign that would bring attention to the Justice’s lack of impartiality.

The move sprung from public comments made by Justice Ginsburg regarding her conviction that that American public would accept a ruling for same-sex marriage as well as actions by both Ginsburg and Kagan that confirm their biased position on the issue. Both Justices have performed same-sex weddings.

“A Justice of the Supreme Court is called on to avoid the appearance of bias—especially on a highly controversial and sensitive issue that is currently before the Court,” stated Rev. William Owens, President of the Coalition of African American Pastors. “And yet, both Justice Ginsburg and Justice Kagan have taken a public stance in favor of same-sex marriage, even going so far as to officiate at a same-sex wedding.”

“Not only is this a breach of ethics, but it calls into question the integrity of the Court and the supposed balance that the judicial branch is meant to provide in Constitutional interpretation,” Rev. Owens continued. “It is beyond objectionable that no action has yet been taken to ensure that the case will be adjudicated fairly. And so it falls to us, the people, to take action. CAAP is launching a petition urging Justices Kagan and Ginsburg remove themselves from decision-making on this issue and prevent a crisis brought on by the taint of a biased judiciary.”

“The Court has shown willingness in the past to insert itself in matters that are more properly the domain of the voters,” he said. “For a case that promises to dramatically affect the future of family, religious freedom, and much more, there cannot be any question of political bias on the part of the judges involved. We ask that Justice Ginsburg and Justice Kagan disqualify themselves from involvement in this case or that the Chief Justice Roberts takes the action needed to protect the integrity of the Court.”

The Right to Say No

Something very unpleasant is occurring in America. Those who have a strong religious faith are being denied the right to say “no” based on its teachings and values. This is particularly true these days as homosexuals, barely three percent of the population, demand that they be accommodated when their demand runs counter to thousands of years of what has been deemed moral behavior and, for many, still is.

When it comes to marriage. Gays insist they have a “right” to get married and call their union “marriage”, but there is absolutely nothing in the thousands of years of the Judeo-Christian ethic that defines same-sex unions as either moral or legal.

The most recent and egregious example of what can happen when someone obeys God rather than the state is Arlene’s Flowers, a small floral shop in Richland, Washington. Its owner, Barronelle Stuzman, declined to make flower arrangements for a gay couple’s wedding and, instead of finding a shop that would, they took their grievance to court. A judge ruled Ms. Stutzman violated the state’s anti-discrimination and consumer protection laws.

I find it odd that one cannot refuse to render a service or sell a product if that decision is based on one’s religious beliefs. Isn’t that a form of discrimination against religion? Yes, it is.

Commenting on these increasing cases filed by homosexuals, the noted conservative writer, Selwyn Duke, said “It is a new front in the war on faith, legitimate freedom and private property rights. Many point out that it constitutes an unprecedented trampling of religious liberty and this is true.”

America is a nation based on its Founder’s beliefs that the rights of its citizens came from God, not the state. Something is very wrong when judges ignore that fundamental truth.

Anti-discrimination laws have the intent of ensuring the right of people to be treated equally. Not all such laws are the same. Some permit exemptions based on religion or gender. The reality that women are different from men has seen some nations such as ours exclude them from serving in a frontline combat role or aboard submarines. This is a concession to reality.

Ms. Stuzman’s new reality, after forty years in business, is the loss of her business due to the fines that have been assessed, along with the cost of legal fees. “They want my home, they want my business, they want my personal finances as an example for other people to be quiet,” said Ms. Stuzman. The gay couple may love each other, but they have demonstrated their belief in their right to marry permits them to inflict an enormous harm on a 70-year-old florist. There is something truly obscene about that.

In August of last year, a same-sex couple from Newark requested the use of the Liberty Ridge Farm for their wedding ceremony and was denied. In order to comply with a court order that they make their farm available despite their religious convictions, Cynthia and Robert Gifford, the owners of the farm near Albany, N.Y., have decided to no longer host any wedding or other ceremonies.

It’s not like the New Testament isn’t quite clear regarding the issue of homosexuality:

Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our Go

Romans 1:26-28 “For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.”

Under Islam, you can be put to death for homosexuality.

Here in America, it is not the homosexuals who are subject to restrictions. It is people of faith who are being told they must provide services and products to them in the context if they intend to marry or as a reflection of their gender preference.

Urloved Photography is a small business in Northern California specializing in wedding and event photograph. In response to a request from a gay couple, Urlove replied with an email that said “Thanks so much for contacting us and for your very kind words. We feel that photographing a gay wedding is not the best match for us, however we can refer you to a colleague who would make a great match. We wish you the very best!” In California, however, one cannot reject business on the basis of sexual orientation.

Some states are trying to extend a measure of legal protection against the demands of homosexuals. In Kansas, its Federal and State Affairs committee has passed a bill aimed at protecting individuals, groups and businesses that refuse for religious reasons to recognize same-sex marriages or provide benefits to gay couples. Kansas law already protects employees from being sanctioned based on religious beliefs.

Federal judges have recently struck down bans on gay marriage in Oklahoma and Utah. In Indiana legislation to protect residents with strong religious beliefs from having to provide services and products to same-sex weddings is under consideration. In October, however, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down Indiana’s gay marriage ban.

Our states are sovereign republics in their own right. That should be respected.

We are witnessing the arrogance of the homosexual community pitting itself against millennia of tradition and spiritual belief. Can’t find a photographer, florist or baker who wants to provide services for your same-sex wedding? Find someone who will.

Instead, states are caving into homosexual demands and asking their residents to abandon the reality that marriage is intended solely for a man and a woman.
