Some politicians continue their attacks on one of the minor instruments used in murders, guns, rather than deal with the “why” of the crimes committed against humanity.
Glenn Beck in his book Control: Exposing the Truth about Guns writes, “The evidence is indisputable that what is different in society now isn’t guns; its the person, the culture, and the cavalier way we treat violence.” Beck notes that “[G]un-related mass killings are, thankfully, still incredibly rare.” Beck points out, “Fifty-five people were killed by New York City subway trains in 2012…” Is anyone talking about banning subway trains, of course not.
The below video addresses the why, something that many do not want to do. Bill Whittle, playing the “virtual President” speaks about why politicians want to talk about gun control rather than crime control, and delivers the factual evidence and historical truths that make the case for the Second Amendment self-evident.
Beck makes the same key point in his book. Historically, when gun control was, and today is, debated what matters is the how and not the why. To make any difference society must face the realities of insanity, murder and mayhem. Laws are in place to deal with them. Florida has a three strikes law. Three-strikes laws are statutes enacted by state governments in the United States which mandate state courts to impose harsher sentences on habitual offenders who are convicted of three or more serious criminal offenses. In most jurisdictions, only crimes at the felony level qualify as serious offenses. Twenty-four states have some form of habitual offender law.
Is it now time to focus on the human conditions that lead to violence, crime and mayhem? That is the key question.
Beck concludes by writing, “There are plenty of radical things we can do – and many of them have already been proposed – that will make no real difference. For some people, that’s okay. They would rather achieve a political goal or “do something” bold so they can sleep better at night, even if it means the underlying problem never gets solved.”

Former U.S. Rep. Allen West said Wednesday that he hasn’t ruled out a challenge to Florida Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, even as the former congressman acknowledged that it would be a difficult and expensive road to take.
West, a favorite of conservatives who lost his House seat in 2012, said he’d draw on his faith to make a decision on a future political contest.
Senator Rubio may be vulnerable due to his role as the “leader” of the Gang of Eight on immigration. He has lost support of conservatives. In Florida a billboard was raised showing the distrust of Rubio by at least some voters.
“When 20 million American citizens and legal workers are unemployed or desperately trying to find full time jobs it is both callous and irresponsible for Florida Senator Marco to sponsor an immigration bill that will flood the labor market with 33 million foreign workers over the next ten years,” said Jack Oliver of Floridians for Immigration Enforcement.
Allen West during an interview on WMAL radio says challenging Senator Marco Rubio in the 2016 Republican Florida primary election would be a daunting task:
Remember that Rubio faced a daunting task running against former Governor Charlie Crist in 2010. Rubio faced a sitting Governor who at that time had a statewide approval rating of 70%, was flush with campaign cash and had already been endorsed by the Republican Senatorial Election Committee. Rubio won because he had the support of the conservative grass roots in a three way race (Crist became an Independent and ran as an “I”).
While sitting in a movie theatre recently a WDW reader noticed an on screen ad promoting the new ABC Family series The Fosters. The ad states the Fosters are the “new American family”.
But is it and is ABC Family pushing a political agenda?
The Fosters is an American drama series on ABC Family that premiered on June 3, 2013. Produced by Jennifer Lopez and her production company Nuyorican Productions, the series follows the lives of the Foster family, an interracial lesbian couple who are raising biological and adoptive children together.
Nearly half a century after the 1965 Moynihan Report on black family disintegration, a prominent liberal think tank finds things “have only grown worse.” Its clueless recommendation: more government.
The Urban Institute, working with the Albany-based Fathers Incorporated, last week released “The Moynihan Report Revisited.” It re-examines the black family since LBJ Labor Department sociologist and eventual Democratic Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan analyzed the “tangle of pathologies” afflicting black America. The institute’s report laments that “the statistics that so alarmed Moynihan in the 1960s have only grown worse, not only for blacks, but for whites and Hispanics as well.”
White illegitimacy has reached the rate of black illegitimacy of the 1960s, while black out-of-wedlock births “tripled between the early 1960s and 2009, remaining far higher than the percentage of white children born to unmarried mothers.”
Is ABC Family redefining the black family in its new series? Is it beneficial for the black community to have the main character a black lesbian as a role model? Will the series lead to black, Hispanic and white children growing up believing that two lesbians are better than a biological father and a mother (already a serious and growing problem in minority communities)? Is ABC Family pushing a political agenda wrapped in a “ABC Family” prime time television series?

Tony Lee from Breitbart reports, “On Thursday [June 13th], Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said one reason illegal immigrants must be legalized as soon as possible is so they can help fund border security measures by paying taxes and fines. ”
Lee notes, “Immigration experts, though, note that some illegal immigrants may be able to apply for fee waivers in order to avoid fines. In addition, the IRS may have difficulty figuring out how much back taxes illegal immigrants owe. And finally, some nonprofit agencies may even receive taxpayer dollars that presumably should be used to fund some border security programs in order to help illegal immigrants pay their fines to get legalized.”
On the June 12th evening edition of the Bill O’Reilly Show Senator Marco Rubio stated,“It depends on border security, and it depends on ensuring that it doesn’t cost the American taxpayer. I think the bottom line is we can secure the border and ensure that this never happens again, and if we can ensure that it doesn’t cost the American taxpayer by people going on welfare and things like that, then I think it will pass. If it doesn’t do those things, it won’t.”
Earlier on that same day an amendment from Senator Grassley to strengthen border security was stopped from coming to the US Senate floor for an up or down vote by Senator Harry Reid. Surely Senator Rubio knew this because he voted against the amendment.
This is a flip from Rubio’s repeated on the record statements that border security must come first. On June 11th Rubio stated, “We will have immigration reform if we can secure the border“:
Rubio said the same thing during an interview on Univision.
John Hall from Stand with Arizona reported, “In a Spanish-language interview Sunday with the network Univision (video here, translation here) Sen. Rubio made his strongest statement yet that legalization of the nation’s tens of millions of illegal aliens must happen before any new border security or internal enforcement measures are in place, and will in no way be conditional on any security requirements.”
Rubio: “Let’s be clear. Nobody is talking about preventing the legalization. The legalization is going to happen. That means the following will happen: First comes the legalization. Then come the measures to secure the border. And then comes the process of permanent residence. What we’re talking about here is the system of permanent residence. As for the legalization, the enormous majority of my colleagues have accepted that it has to happen and that it has to begin at the same time we begin the measures for [the border]. It is not conditional. The legalization is not conditional.”
Senator Rubio has not offered an amendment to strengthen border security. On June 17th Rubio was interviewed by the Washington Examiner and asked, “Are you going to offer your own border-security amendment?” Rubio replied, “We’re prepared to.”
It appears Senator Rubio lied to the American people and border security died.

The first step to solving it? Shrink the monster down to size with real spending cuts.
It’s a goal many claim to work toward, yet few seem committed to achieving. Choices presented by the debt limit debate can force both parties to trim down the federal budget—if they don’t get sidetracked.
HOLDING THE LINE: There are refreshing examples of principled leadership among members of Congress committed to getting spending under control. Currently, Senators Rand Paul (R-KY), Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Mike Lee (R-UT) are working hard to prevent any backdoor effort to increase the debt limit without spending cuts.
When it comes to holding the line on new spending, Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) and five other Senators recently announced their intention to object to consideration of legislation that spends new money unless it also trims the federal budget in other areas. Their goal is to “no longer spend money we do not have to pay for programs we do not need.”
The secret to controlling spending: To get spending under control, you have to know where the dollars are spent.
Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security make up 45 percent of our national budget, as this recent chart shows. Millions of at-risk citizens depend on these programs, and Congress has yet to take the steps needed to reform and preserve them so they benefit those most in need and are affordable for current and future taxpayers.
While members of Congress may be tempted to fold on the challenge of getting spending under control, now is the time that they as the leaders they were elected to be and deal with balancing the national budget in 10 years.

A friend of Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev implicated himself and Tsarnaev in an unsolved triple homicide before authorities say he instigated a violent confrontation that resulted in his death early Wednesday morning, CBS News correspondent Bob Orr reports.
Law enforcement sources told Orr that the man, a Chechen identified as Ibragim Todashev, implicated himself and Tsarnaev to authorities in the 2011 killings in Waltham, Mass., under questioning Wednesday at Todashev’s apartment in Orlando, Fla.

Why has this video been edited to remove his references to the Qur’an?
He says, “Surat at-Tawba through…many, many ayat throughout the Qur’an that…we must fight them as they fight us…”
Surat at-Tawba is the ninth chapter of the Qur’an, and according to Islamic scholars is the last one or one of the last ones to have been revealed that contain doctrinal content — which means that it takes precedence over the others. Some highlights:
“And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” — Qur’an 9:5
“An FBI incident review team from Washington, D.C., is in Orlando today, a day after a Russian man who knew Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev was shot dead by an agent.
Federal and Central Florida law enforcement agencies are still collecting and processing evidence from the shooting scene at a condominium complex on Peregrine Avenue, near Kirkman Road and Universal Orlando, where Ibragim Todashev was shot early Wednesday.
Initially, FBI officials said Todashev, 27, became violent and lunged at an agent with a knife while he was being questioned about Tsarnaev and an unsolved 2011 triple murder in the Boston suburb of Waltham. The agent, acting on an “imminent threat,” then shot Todashev, they said.
However, later in the day, some of those officials had backed off that preliminary account, and it’s no longer clear what happened in the moments before the fatal shooting, The Associated Press reported.
Sources told Fox 25 News in Boston that Todashev, a Russian national living legally in Florida, was about to sign a confession linking him to the Waltham slayings just before the shooting took place.
“I heard a couple of loud bangs and saw a couple of cop cars riding by,” said Jared Morse, who lives in the area. “They wouldn’t let anyone out to see anything or anything like that, so they made us go back inside.”
Khusen Taraman, who practiced mixed-martial arts with Todashev, said that since the Boston Marathon bombings in April, they had been followed and questioned by the FBI. Todashev and Tsarnaev were MMA fighters, and both once lived in the Boston metro area.
Taraman insisted his friend wasn’t capable of wrongdoing.

Tom Trento, an international lecturer, author and SE Florida radio talk show host on WNN AM 1470/FM 99.9, reveals new information about Huma Abedin Weiner and her husband Anthony’s finances. Anthony Weiner and his wife, Huma Abedin Weiner are back in the public eye as the former Congressman is now running for the Mayor of New York City.
According to Raymond Hernandez of the New York Times, “The State Department, under Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, created an arrangement for her longtime aide and confidante Huma Abedin to work for private clients as a consultant while serving as a top adviser in the department.”
Because Anthony is running for public office he released his and his wife’s income tax statements for 2012. At the time Anthony was a consultant but listed “no income”. However his wife Huma, was working for Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of the Department of State. In December 2011 Huma had a baby and was placed on maternity leave. However, she continued to receive her full salary from the Department of State even though she only worked part-time. In addition to drawing her full salary of $135,000, she and her husband Anthony reported total combined income for 2012 of $490.000.
According to Trento this money was paid to Huma by the Clinton Foundation and a Saudi think tank for consulting services. The question is how can one be a paid as a full time employee at the Department of State working directly for Hillary Clinton and still be paid as a consultant for the Clinton Foundation and a foreign entity?

NSSF, the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry, has been a leader in firearm safety and conservation education for decades.
The firearm safety videos teach students how to react if they should encounter a firearm in an unsupervised situation. The conservation titles educate students on how wildlife and wild lands are protected, and how hunters support this effort with contributions amounting to more than $1 billion annually.
WDW asked Florida Rep. Ray Pilon if he agrees that we should teach our children about gun safety in our schools. Pilon responded in an email, “No I do not approve. When I learned to shoot as a teenager it was a competition .22 rifle class conducted by a certified instructor who also taught gun safety for hunting, which my family was involved in as I was growing up. We have much better and more important things to teach in the classroom.” Pilon was a co-sponsor of the anti-Second Amendment legislation passed during the 2013 session. Pilon sits on the Judiciary Committee of the Florida House.

The United West was at Muslim Capitol Day 2013 and offered a $25,000 reward to anyone who can find the words anti-Muslim, anti-shariah or anti-Islam in SB 58.
Ahmed Bedier founded the group United Voices for America (UVA), which hosts an annual Muslim Capitol Day in Tallahassee during the legislative session. One of the top legislative priorities of UVA was to stop passage of SB 58. SB 58 states:
Application of Foreign Law in Certain Cases; Clarifying that the public policies expressed in the act apply to violations of a natural person’s fundamental liberties, rights, and privileges guaranteed by the State Constitution or the United States Constitution in certain proceedings or actions brought after the act becomes a law; providing that the act does not apply to a corporation, partnership, or other form of business association, except when necessary to provide effective relief in actions or proceedings under or relating to chapters 61 and 88, F.S., etc.
Manal Fakhoury from StopSB58.org and United Voices for America in an email states, “I can’t believe the audacity of these Senators and their dirty political tricks. It’s like deja vu all over again. Sorry for flooding you with emails, but this matter is so urgent. Minutes ago, the Florida Senate proved they’re more interested in pushing their discriminatory agenda instead of hearing or representing the people.
“Realizing that opposition to the bill was rapidly growing, the Florida Senate President just WITHDREW SB 58 from the Rules Committee and placed it on the Senate Floor calendar for a 2nd reading and vote. These guys are doing everything to SHOVE THIS BILL through before our campaign reaches its full momentum. Their action is definitely suspicious and is evidence that they’re scared to debate the merits of this legislation,” writes Fakhoury.

Fox News reports, “Ties between Islamic extremist groups and Chechnya well-documented. [C]ongressional researchers and foreign policy analysts have long tracked a connection between the Chechnya region and Islamic extremists with Al Qaeda and the Taliban. If the suspects are indeed Chechen, analysts told Fox News they may represent part of a jihadi network which has made its way to American soil. “The Chechen jihadi network is very extensive,” Middle East analyst Walid Phares said Friday. “They have a huge network inside Russia and Chechnya.”
Chris Kyle in his autobiography American Sniper wrote that during the 2006 battle of in Ramadi, Iraq, “I saw a whole bunch of guys standing there in desert camouflage—the old brown chocolate-chip stuff from Desert Storm, the First Gulf War. They were all wearing gear. They were all Caucasian, including one or two with blond hair, obviously not Iraqis or Arabs… We looked at each other. Something flicked in my brain, and I flicked the trigger on the M-16, mowing them down. A half-second’s more hesitation, and I would have been the one bleeding out on the floor. They turned out to be Chechens, Muslims apparently recruited for a holy war against the West. (We found their passports after searching the house.)” [My emphasis]
Clare Lopez, former CIA Operations officer and Russia expert, in a statement to WDW noted, “This attack is not about Russia. This is an act of jihad. As time goes on our best friends are the media who will get into the background of these two men and reveal the truth.”
Tamerlan, who was killed in a shootout earlier today, appears to have been sympathetic to Islamist radicalism. Five months ago he appears to have created a channel on YouTube called “Terrorists.” The channel features videos from the one of the leaders of the insurgency in Dagestan who goes by the name Amir Abu Dudzhan. YouTube appears to have removed two of the videos but in a third features Dudzhan calling for jihad. Holding a Kalashnikov rifle, he says, “Jihad is the duty of every able-bodied Muslim.” Among the other videos on his channel is one of Timur Mutsuraev, the bard of the Chechen resistance in the 1990s; it features his song, “We will devote our lives to jihad.” See Tamerlan’s video listhere.

“Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev posted links to Islamic websites and others calling for Chechen independence on what appears to be his page on a Russian language social networking site.
Abusive comments in Russian and English were flooding onto Tsarnaev’s page on VK, a Russian-language social media site, on Friday after he was identified as a suspect in the bombing of the Boston marathon.
Police launched a massive manhunt for Tsarnaev, 19, after killing his older brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev in a shootout overnight.”
On the site, the younger Tsarnaev identifies himself as a 2011 graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, a public school in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
His “World view” is listed as “Islam” and his “Personal priority” is “career and money”.
He has posted links to videos of fighters in the Syrian civil war and to Islamic web pages with titles like “Salamworld, my religion is Islam” and “There is no God but Allah, let that ring out in our hearts”.
He also has links to pages calling for independence for Chechnya, a region of Russia that lost its bid for secession after two wars in the 1990s.
The page also reveals a sense of humor, around his identity as a member of a minority from southern Russia’s restive Caucasus, which includes Chechnya, Dagestan, Ingushetia and other predominately Muslim regions that have seen two decades of unrest since the fall of the Soviet Union.
A video labelled “tormenting my brother” shows a man resembling his dead brother Tamerlan laughing and imitating the accents of different Caucasian ethnic groups.
The Chechen conflict dates to the early 1990s. In the summer of 1999, fighters in the predominantly Muslim republic rose up in an attempt to throw off Russian domination. Vladimir Putin, then the Russian prime minister, responded quickly, firmly and brutally to put down the rebellion.
Later that summer, there were several explosions across Russia and Putin blamed Chechens. Putin sent the army back by force, which resulted in Western criticism of Russian tactics and human rights violations.
In the most dramatic episode, about 40 armed Chechen separatists took more than 900 hostages at a Moscow theater. After a two-day siege, Russian special police pumped a chemical agent into the theater’s ventilation system and raided the building. About 130 hostages died, and all of the Chechens were killed.
Though the war has officially ended, the Russians have maintained a tight grip on Chechnya, backing a strongman friendly to Moscow and maintaining a robust military presence. Efforts have also been underway in recent years to rebuild the shattered capital of Grozny.
Still, sporadic violence and kidnapping have continued in Chechnya and separatists retain a following. The years of fighting, crime and economic difficulties led tens of thousands of Chechens to leave their homes for other former Soviet republics.

Agenda 21.
At the Rio 2012 Summit on UN Agenda 21, it was stated that “Governments should invest their transportation money on Public Transportation because roadways only largely benefit those that own vehicles”. Really? I thought Roadways benefited the Economy and Society as a Whole. Roadways get us to and from work, to grocery stores, to the bank, to restaurants, to shopping malls. Roadways transport our food and things we need. The UN intends to Impede our Right to Travel and Pursuit of Happiness.
As far as the Middle East Wars go, Reagan demonstrated that war is unnecessary. When Khadaffi was openly threatening us, Reagan bombed his house and we didn’t hear much from him after that. The other middle east countries quickly fell in line and repaired their relations with us. With the technology we have today, and that includes Intelligence, Satellite, SDI, Drones and DEWS, we could take out the hostile leaders of these countries without having to go to war.
How did it come to this? It all started with the Fabian Society and the Act of 1871, where Congress created the DC Corporation & created a new Constitution, then the FEDERAL US GOVERNMENT became a Corporation. As the largest Corporate Conglomerate on the planet, the US GOVERNMENT owns majority shares in ALL of THE Fortune 500 Companies and their CAFR reports prove this (See the channel belonging to Corporation Nation “Dear Matt Damon” videos). The Act of 1871 was not only Unconstitutional, but is INVALID. The FED GOVERNMENT we have today is the de Facto, or Shadow Government. But, we cannot do anything about that now but we can put a halt to the Ultimate Goal, which is this Evil Agenda and then begin to put this Great Country of ours back together and reverse the treasonous legislation. We must also OUST anyone who showed any inkling of support for UN Agenda 21. UN Agenda 21 has been in the works for decades, now, and is the primary reason for the corruption & depravity we see everywhere today at all levels.
Don’t let yourselves be fooled – everything else is a smokescreen to keep your attention away from Agenda 21. Once Agenda 21 becomes fully implemented, all hope is lost. Get the information out to your neighbors, home owners, business owners. Chances are, they have never heard of UN Agenda 21. Since Agenda 21 is implemented Locally, once the people are mobilized, they can take the issue to their City Council and County and put a halt to all policies, monies and ties to UN Agenda 21 and ICLEI.

“The Egyptian government’s decision last week to arrest Bassem Youssef, the “Egyptian Jon Stewart”, has once again clearly displayed the threat posed to the people of Egypt by an Islamist Constitution and Islamist ideologues leading.
Youssef was arrested for criticizing Egyptian President Morsi and for criticizing Islam, despite the fact that he is a devout Muslim himself and professes a deep love of his faith and his country.
Morsi’s allies in the Muslim Brotherhood are using the tool of religion and blasphemy to hammer dissent into submission. The arrest of Youssef and several other comedians is just the latest example of political Islam in action. The ideology is based in a supremacist mindset that holds the Islamist interpretation of Islam higher than any individual right to freedom of thought, expression or faith. It quickly becomes the tool of the dictator to secure power through intimidation. Youssef himself appeared with CNN’s Christian Amanpour labeling the brotherhoods actions as “fascistic”.
At long last the American Left appears to be stepping to the plate in condemning these actions and awakening to the threat of Islamism upon every citizen. Youssef, a heart surgeon turned comedian, and television host comes from within their ranks. His arrest sparked Jon Stewart to do a 10 minute monologue that highlighted some of Morsi’s direct statements calling Jews ‘descendants of Pigs and Monkeys’ and Morsi’s hypocrisy on religious freedom.
The Obama Administration continued to falter on the principle of defending religious freedom, when it initially condemned the arrest and actually tweeted the Stewart monologue from a US Embassy Cairo twitter account, only to have Ambassador Anne Peterson soon thereafter remove the post and delete the twitter account. Peterson is the Ambassador who forbade US Marines from carrying live ammunition when US Embassy Cairo was besieged by protesters and the walls were actually breached.
We cannot condemn the actions of religious suppression and then send $190 million to the government to secure its infrastructure. We cannot stand with Bassem Youssef and send the Egyptian Government airplanes and tanks. We cannot call for greater tolerance of religious freedom and label President Morsi an ally in the region all the while his henchmen enforce some of the most repressive restrictions on free expression seen in Egypt in generations.
There is no ambiguity in the intent of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Their Constitution clearly lays out their vision for a new Egypt that does not embrace religious freedom or individual rights. Recent scores of arrests of Bassem Youssef and many others provide a stark reminder of this fact. The Administration needs to take the lesson that his brothers and sisters on the left side of the aisle are learning and stand on the principles that built this country.
It’s time to cut off all aid to our non-ally Egypt and let the Muslim Brotherhood fail, fall into the dustbin of history and make room for Revolution 2.0 in Egypt for our real allies–those who believe in and represent real freedom.

Out-of-cycle elections suppress the vote. That is the message of the below video.
The City of Sarasota, Florida will be holding an out of cycle City Commission election on March 12, 2013. One of those running for office is attorney Susan Chapman. She is in favor of off cycle elections and in the below video states that she does not care if people vote.
Sarasota City and County off cycle elections have historically suppressed the vote.
The City of Sarasota, the Sarasota County Commission and the Sarasota County School Board have used off cycle elections to their advantage and not the advantage of voters. These off cycle elections are both costly and historically have lower voter turn out than during on cycle elections in November.
It is not voter ID laws that suppress the vote, those laws make sure only eligible voters vote.

Some have said that the TEA Party is dead. Well the Broward County Teachers Union (BTU) knows differently.
A BTU letter to its members states, “Over the course of the last several years there has been a coordinated attack on the Florida Supreme Court by ideological partisans who want to remake the court to reflect their own political perspective. In 2010, four justices were up for retention. Two were singled out for attack by a Tea Party-related organization with only an online campaign.The group was successful in reducing the YES vote for these two justices. They received 10% fewer votes than the two that were not attacked and 10% less than justices get on average.” [Emphasis mine]
“The opposition, closely tied with the Tea Party in Florida, Restore Justice‘s online presence has grown much more sophisticated in the current election cycle. But Restore Justice is joined this year by national forces. American Crossroads (Karl Rove), and Americans for Prosperity (Koch Brothers) have reserved millions of dollars of media time for the final weeks of the campaign. Their efforts nation-wide were emboldened by the ouster of three Iowa Supreme Court justices in 2010 during a campaign focused on a same-sex marriage ruling. Those justices didn’t raise any campaign funds to defend themselves,” the BTU states.
