How Corporations and a Nonprofit Partnered to Stop the Red Wave

The IRS let the Left ‘Rock the Vote’ in the midterms.

The Left’s most successful youth voter turnout operation began when a Fort Lauderdale record store owner was busted for selling 2 Live Crew’s ‘As Nasty as They Wanna Be’ album.

The record store owner was convicted of obscenity charges after Judge Jose Gonzalez had denounced the rap album, containing numbers such as ‘Me So Horny’ and ‘Dick Almighty’, for its “references to violence against women and abusive sex”. The record store owner would later be busted for selling cocaine and was accused of pushing crack through his store.

While he did not have a happy ending, music industry executives at Virgin Records, worried about the impact of obscenity rulings on their bottom line, created Rock the Vote. Officially its purpose was to mobilize youth turnout to avoid having the country run by older politicians who just didn’t “get the youth”, or at least the destructive culture that older executives were pushing on the youth, but RTV was a Democratic voter turnout operation from the very beginning.

“Did you know youth voters canceled out every voter over 65+ for 2022?” Rock the Vote recently bragged. The voters they wanted to cancel out were Republicans and moderate Democrats.

Music industry executives co-founded Rock the Vote with Steve Barr: a finance chair of the Democratic Party. The voter turnout operation, famous from its MTV days, helped turn the Democrats away from the party of Tipper Gore and the party of Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

In the 80s, Hollywood and the Democrats had attempted to appeal to Middle America and normative values. By the 90s, they triumphantly tossed those overboard and redefined themselves as the hip edgy transgressives who were leaving the stodgy Republicans behind. Democrats in the 80s had criticized the excesses of the entertainment industry, but by the 90s, beginning with Bill Clinton, they had become politically and culturally inseparable from it.

And that’s how ‘Me So Horny’ led to a youth voter turnout operation that played a significant role in midterm elections where Democrats depended on their vote.

Facing widespread discontent from virtually every adult demographic, with Latino, Jewish, Asian and even black voters shifting toward Republicans, they bet on Generation Z. And it delivered.

In the midst of a terrible economy and a crime wave, Democrats were boosted by a demographic least likely to share adult concerns about the economy, schools and public safety, and most likely to be animated by phantom ideological narratives about social justice, abortion and global warming.

Democrats enjoyed the highest turnout for younger voters in a generation with a 31% turnout. Especially in Pennsylvania, Georgia and Michigan.

That doesn’t just happen.

Rock the Vote, which claims to be nonpartisan and can only operate only on the condition of not expressing a party preference, published an officially branded table, boasting that, “Why wasn’t 2022 a red wave? The youth vote. Young voters were the only age group with a strong majority support among Democrats.”

This partisan message, like the entire RTV agenda, is one big violation of the tax code.

In the midterms, Rock the Vote used social media influencers to target the youth vote. Afterward the organization posted a list of Gen Z politicians whom they described as “dominating the polls and being elected.” All three were Democrats. There were no Republicans on the list.

Maxwell Alejandro Frost, had been the organizing director of March for Our Lives, which partners with Rock The Vote. Nabeela Syed was a veteran of Emily’s List. Cassandra Levesque was backed by Planned Parenthood. RTV was championing not only Democrats, but leftists backed by the partisan groups it was partnering with. Yet another abuse of its nonprofit status.

RTV’s Featured Civic Technology Partners is a damning list of radical leftist groups and political allies like Black Lives Matter, March for Our Lives, MoveOn, Planned Parenthood, The Arab American Institute, assorted unions, the NAACP, the National Iranian American Council: known by some as the ‘Iran Lobby’ and CAIR. ‘As Nasty as They Wanna Be’ indeed.

Missing from the list is anything remotely resembling a right-leaning or conservative group.

What began with Madonna rhyming, “Dr. King, Malcolm X/ Freedom of speech is as good as sex” now has Black Lives Matter’s DeRay McKesson as a director at RTV. But behind the pop culture were the industries that were able to influence elections while partnering with a nonprofit.

Rock the Vote has partnered with NBA teams, Cox cable, Foot Locker, Gap, WarnerMedia, Macy’s and Yelp to name a few of the companies partaking in its ‘Brands for Democracy’.

While officially RTV is a 501(c)(3) nonpartisan nonprofit, its director, Jessica Reeves currently serves, “as a political appointee in the Biden-Harris Administration as Director of Public Engagement at the Small Business Administration.”

Rock the Vote is not only nonpartisan, it has a direct connection to the Biden administration’s public engagement team. That makes it not only partisan, but is being partly supervised from inside the administration of a prospective presidential candidate. That’s blatantly illegal.

RTV’s upper echelons are stacked with Democrat political operatives.

Muthoni Wambu Kraal, another director, worked for the DCCC, Obama and as the National Political & Organizing Director for the Democratic National Committee. She also sits on the board of ActBlue. RTV’s president, Carolyn DeWitt worked on the 2012 Democrat convention.

Amanda Brown Lierman, RTV’s co-chair, doubles as the campaign director for a leftist SuperPAC and formerly worked for Obama. An official with a partisan SuperPAC playing a role in what claims to be a nonpartisan nonprofit involved in elections is a major red flag.

But there’s little ambiguity about the fact that Rock the Vote is a Democrat voter turnout operation under people who have specialized in turning out Democrat voters.

Rock the Vote was ahead of the curve in combining corporate partnerships and nonprofits to boost Democrat voter registration and turnout. Rock the Vote’s blueprint has since become the Democrat standard without the IRS ever lifting a finger against a nonprofit blatantly violating the tax code.

As discussed in Internal Radical Service by David Horowitz and John Perazzo, a pamphlet from the David Horowitz Freedom Center, the IRS has allowed leftists to build massive nonprofit networks aimed at achieving their political agenda. That includes campaign operations.

In my recent talk, I broke down how the Democrats have replicated every element of their campaign operations through nonprofits so that every public estimate of election spending is far off because it does not take into account the massive impact of 501(c)(3) cash that secures voter registration, messaging and turnout to invisibly shape and sway election results.

The effects, like the recent midterms, appear unnatural and impossible unless you understand what the machine fed by massive amounts of harvested data and virtually unlimited amounts of tax-exempt cash from major donors and corporate alliances is doing behind the scenes.

Rock the Vote’s agenda, which it’s not at all shy about, is championing leftist agenda items and electing Democrats to implement them. Or as RTV put it, “Whether it’s climate justice, healthcare, inflation, reproductive rights, education, or something else, there’s a lot on the ballot right now. Don’t let your voice go unheard!”

RTV’s partisan activities mean that it has no right to operate as a 501(c)(3). It is directly involved in fundraising to mobilize partisan voter registration and election turnout. Voter registration and outreach by nonprofits is only legal on the condition that it’s “conducted in a nonpartisan manner.” RTV never operated in a nonpartisan manner and it certainly isn’t doing that now.

But Rock the Vote’s abuses of the tax code have become too commonplace among nonprofits as discussed in the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s series on the IRS and nonprofit abuses.

The midterms demonstrated how effective Democrats have become at illegally using their nonprofits to find voters to outweigh the public will.

And what that means is that we are all subsidizing a leftist political machine.

As Internal Radical Service by David Horowitz and John Perazzo lays out, Democrats have built a massive nonprofit political machine funded by taxpayers and abetted by the IRS. The DNC can afford to spend a mere $5 million on its voter registration campaign because most of the work is already being done for it by an army of nonprofits  with nearly infinite budgets.

But a new generation of elected officials and investigators may be ready to rock Rove the Vote.

‘They Created An Industry’: How Leftists Gaslight Americans On Extremism

Democrats’ final pitch to Americans this November as the midterms approached couldn’t have been more clear: Republicans are “extremists” hellbent on destroying Democracy.

Joe Biden infamously declared that “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic” at a September speech in Philadelphia. But 50 million Americans voted for Donald Trump in 2016 — 50 million Americans who, according to their president, are fringe “extremists.”

Interest in the word “extremism” is vastly more pronounced in Washington D.C. than in any state over the last year, according to Google Trends. On a scale of 0-100, DC stands at 100, with Vermont, Virginia and Maryland following at 22, 20 and 16, respectively. Swing states such as Ohio, Indiana and New Jersey have a relative interest in the word of 8, 7 and 8, respectively. In short, obsession with the problem of extremism is mainly a passion project of the D.C. elite.

Following the Supreme Court’s opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Center, Democrat lined up to support Roe v. Wade, and even enshrine it into law. Biden promised to codify Roe if Democrats took majorities in the midterms, and Vice President Kamala Harris lamented the potential overturning of Roe back in May.

But Roe v. Wade allowed abortions up to the 24th week of pregnancy, well into the second trimester, and most Americans support restrictions on abortion after the first trimester, which ends at 12 weeks. In fact, the Mississippi abortion law that sparked the Dobbs decision would not ban abortions until the 15th week of pregnancy.

Progressive Rep. Pramila Jayapal called a Florida bill that bans explicit discussions of sex and gender in classrooms “extremist.” Jayapal is one of many Democrats who inaccurately dubbed this legislation the “Don’t Say Gay Bill,” although it nowhere prohibits individuals from saying the word “gay.” Despite Democrat claims of extremism, a majority of registered voters supported the legislation, and only 35% opposed it. Opposition to transgender surgery for children has also been dubbed “extremist” by LGBT activists, but a recent poll from McLaughlin and Associates finds that 65% of Americans think the transgender movement has gone too far in recommending such procedures to minors.

Brian Levin, who directs the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, told the Daily Caller that extremism can be defined as “a position that is … antithetical to our constitution and the processes of our democracies, particularly with regard to bigotry and discrimination,” but admitted that the word is often thrown around too lightly.

“Sometimes we label people extremist because we’re too lazy to debate them, but other times people are labeled extremists because they are,” Levin told the Caller, adding that political problems arise, “when we have people running for various types of critical office who are election deniers.”

Kyle Shideler, the director and senior analyst for homeland security and counterterrorism at the Center for Security Policy, said the term “extremist” is problematic from the start.

“I think we should discard the term altogether. If we need to talk about ideologies that potentially lead to violence, we need to talk about those ideologies on their own terms. So if we have concerns about Neo-Nazi groups, we should talk about neo-Nazism,” Shideler told the Caller. “Same thing if we’re concerned about anarchists like Antifa. You don’t need a blanket term to do it. We should identify groups and ideologies on their own terms.”

In June 2021, the Biden White House released a National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism, which claimed that domestic terrorism comes from “racial or ethnically motivated violent extremists and networks whose racial, ethnic, or religious hatred leads them toward violence, as well as those whom they encourage to take violent action.”

The document not only decries “explicit” calls for violence against religious and ethnic minorities, but also words that are “less explicit, lurking in ideologies.” Chief among these ideologies are, according to the document, “conspiracy theories and other forms of disinformation and misinformation.”

Shideler told the Caller that the government’s use of the term “extremism” blurs the line between speech that calls for violence and constitutionally protected speech, causing the government to censor speech which they claim is so extreme that it leads to violence.

“It’s a sort of bait and switch that’s been perpetuated, because they will use the term extremist and say not everyone who is an extremist is a terrorist and they have first amendment rights … But then they will turn around and say ‘oh there’s a rise in extremism.’ And so they dance between whether they’re talking about people who are actually engaged in criminality or people who hold certain ideas,” he added.

As an example, in July 2021 then-White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the White House was working with Facebook to determine which posts on the platform should be flagged for “disinformation” on the COVID-19 vaccine.

“We’re flagging problematic posts for Facebook that spread disinformation,” Psaki said, noting that “Facebook has repeatedly shown that they have the levers to promote quality information.”

“[The left] created a terminology, and then they created an industry,” Shideler told the Caller, “and they staffed that industry with certain academics who held a particular viewpoint.”

Levin told the Caller that people who spread extremist ideologies online but don’t necessarily call for violence still contribute to a negative environment.

“Those individuals are at least part of the ecosystem of extremism even if they’re not the bullseye center of it,” Levin said.

Tales From The Crypto

The spectacular collapse of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange is not just a business story.  It’s a Washington swamp story and Republicans will be investigating it when they take control of the House in January.  At issue is whether “Individuals within the Democrat Party accepted money with knowledge of potential criminal activity occurring at FTX.”

High-flying FTX bought Super Bowl ads and sports facility naming rights.  It amassed a net worth of $32 billion to become one of the largest crypto exchanges in just three years with 28-year-old Sam Bankman-Fried at the helm. It lost half its worth in a matter of days when customers lost confidence and essentially started a run on the bank.  It was reported Bankman-Fried secretly siphoned off $10 billion in customer funds and transferred it to another trading firm he also owned, run by his girlfriend.   The trading firm invested in FTX’s crypto token, the financial roundtrip prompting investor concern.  FTX was left without sufficient assets to pay customers pulling their money out, and bankruptcy ensued.

FTX has been called a Ponzi scheme, but it sounds more like embezzlement and fraud.  News reports don’t talk about money from new investors being used to pay previous investors, as in a Ponzi scheme.  Instead, $1-2 billion simply vanished.  Some of it went into buying $121 million worth of property in the Bahamas, but a lot of it was going into buying influence in Washington.

FTX, Bankman-Fried, and other FTX top executives poured money into Democrat politicians and liberal causes – $28 million went to a Democrat pro-COVID lockdown PAC, and $4 million to a group called Reproductive Freedom for All.  Democrat politicians who benefitted include Senators Dick Durbin and Bob Menendez.  Bankman-Fried gave more than $5 million to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign and was the second largest Democrat donor in the 2022 midterms.  Money also went to Republicans, but it’s common for corporations to make contributions on both sides of the aisle to hedge their bets in the influence game.  In all, an estimated $57 million went to Democrat candidates and groups and $22 million to Republican candidates and groups. [Steve Moore newsletter, 11/21/22]

Another Democrat politician who benefitted is Maxine Waters.  There are pictures of her and Bankman-Fried with their arms around each, smiling.  Another picture shows her blowing kisses to him.  And this is the woman who, as current chair of the House Financial Services Committee, will be holding hearings on FTX next month.  Moreover, nine members of the committee — seven Democrats and two Republicans — received more than a combined $300,000 in political contributions from Bankman-Fried and others at FTX.  It doesn’t take a genius to see the conflict of interest here.  It’s shaping up to be a whitewash, with the chair of the committee blowing kisses at the perp.

Meanwhile, critics are asking ‘what did the SEC know and when did it know it?’  It turns out the father of the girlfriend who ran the trading firm I mentioned earlier worked with Gary Gensler, chairman of the SEC, when both were professors at MIT.  Gensler, former campaign finance chair for Hillary Clinton, has been criticized for not seeing FTX was going off the rails.  A famous short seller who spotted trouble at Enron and other places, had been publicly warning FTX looked like a scam.  In addition, there are allegations Gensler was actively helping FTX find legal loopholes to escape regulation.

Bankman-Fried insists all the money he has been throwing around is completely innocent and not meant to influence lawmakers or regulators.  The House Republicans will be testing that assertion come January, and we’ll see just how innocent all of this really is.

UPDATE: Arizona GOP Gubernatorial Favorite Kari Lake REFUSES TO CONCEDE, Hires Lawyers to Contest Result

UPDATE: BREAKING: The Elections Integrity Unit of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office has officially demanded a response from Maricopa County “pertaining to issues related to the administration of the 2022 General Election in Maricopa County.”

The Epoch Times is reporting:

Arizona Republican candidate Kari Lake said on Nov. 17 that she’s still fighting in the state governor’s race, in her first major update since Democrat Katie Hobbs declared victory.

“I wanted to reach out to you to let you know that I am still in this fight with you,” Lake, a former television anchor, said in a video statement.

Lake said concerns raised by her campaign about Hobbs, the Arizona secretary of state, overseeing the election and electronic voting equipment turned out to be legitimate. As an example, she pointed to how tabulators across Maricopa County weren’t working properly on Election Day.

Lake said that she spoke with voters who had to wait in line for hours, including a man who went to three different polling sites before he was able to finally cast his ballot.

“Our election officials failed us miserably. What happened to Arizonans on Election Day is unforgivable. Tens of thousands of Maricopa County voters were disenfranchised,” Lake said. As secretary of state, Hobbs is the state’s top election official.

“Now I’m busy here collecting evidence and data. Rest assured I have assembled the best and brightest legal team. And we are exploring every avenue to correct the many wrongs that have been done this past week. I’m doing everything in my power to right these wrongs. My resolve to fight for you is higher than ever.”

Hobbs declared victory on Nov. 14, after outlets including The Associated Press called the race for her.

The only statement Lake issued was a terse, one-liner on Twitter that said, “Arizonans know [expletive] when they see it.”

Since then, updated vote counts have seen Lake cut into the lead Hobbs still holds.

The current margin between the two candidates is 0.6 percent. If it ultimately ends up at 0.5 percent or less, an automatic recount will trigger. Thousands of votes still need to be counted, including more than 16,800 in Maricopa County.

Hobbs’s campaign didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment regarding Lake’s new video.

“I am honored to stand before you as Gov.-elect Katie Hobbs,” she said at what her campaign called a victory rally on Nov. 15.

Lake and Hobbs are vying to succeed Gov. Doug Ducey, a Republican who has been in office for two terms. State law prohibited him from running for reelection.

Former Director of National Intelligence, Richard Grenell, “These Arizona voter stories are brutal.”

This is the very definition of voter suppression.

Republicans Announce Investigation Into Joe Biden, Allege He Was Directly ‘Involved’ With Hunter’s Dealings

House Republicans announced they were launching an investigation into President Joe Biden at a press conference Thursday, alleging that the elder Biden was “involved” in his son Hunter’s overseas business dealings.

Republican Reps. James Comer of Kentucky and Jim Jordan of Ohio, citing unnamed whistleblowers, alleged that Joe Biden was the “chairman of the board” of the Biden family empire and oversaw Hunter’s business activity, claiming to find evidence of conspiracy to defraud the United States and money laundering. Hunter Biden currently holds a minority stake in a Chinese private equity firm responsible for investing in a previously sanctioned technology company that committed human rights violations against Uyghurs, and the new accusations point to involvement in the energy industry.

“This is an investigation of Joe Biden,” Comer said. “I think we’ve laid out the evidence as to why we feel it’s important, and we’re going to move forward with that.”

The lawmakers allege that Hunter Biden and Joe Biden participated in “waste, fraud, and abuse” relating to business dealings and plan to release a report Thursday to outline their claims.

“We find evidence that Hunter Biden and Joe Biden were involved in a scheme to try to get China to buy liquified natural gas. People are in outrage over China buying farmland in the Dakotas. What about China starting to buy into our American energy industry?” Comer added.

Comer was referring to documents found on Hunter Biden’s laptop that showed he was engaged in business talks with Chinese companies to sell American natural gas.

“Was Joe Biden directly involved with Hunter Biden’s business deals and is he compromised? That’s our investigation,” Comer said. The Representatives hope to find “why [Biden] lied to the American people about his knowledge and participation in his family’s international business schemes”

Hunter has been under federal investigation since 2018, after he allegedly failed to pay taxes and lied on a firearm application. U.S. Attorney David Weiss has conducted the investigation and would be the person who levies the charges.

In September, over 30 Senate Republicans called for U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland to grant special counsel protections and authorities to Weiss as he continued to investigate Hunter Biden. The request stemmed from a letter that claims Hunter Biden has a growing amount of evidence against him relating to federal crimes, including, but not limited to, tax fraud, money laundering and foreign-lobbying violations.

The request for counsel follows a September claim by one of Hunter Biden’s former business associates, Tony Bobulinski, that former FBI agent Timothy Thibault worked to conceal relevant information about the Biden family, particularly his relationship with the Bidens. Legislators alleged that Thibault attempted to halt the FBI’s investigation into Hunter Biden.

In October, Republican Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley called on law enforcement to release records detailing “potential criminal conduct” committed by Biden’s sons after leaked emails pointed to a Biden owned real estate company receiving a $40 million investment from a Russian oligarch.

Election Problem Deniers, Take Note

Today, I start a series on problems with our election system.  The election problem deniers will tell you ‘nothing to see here, move along,’ but there’s no shortage of undeniable problems.

Let’s start with stories about courts and government officials who rectified a number of problems in the days and weeks running up to the election.

The Delaware Supreme Court struck down no-fault absentee balloting and same-day voter registration because they violated the state constitution.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court invalidated the use of drop boxes which the state elections commission had instituted without authority.

Elections officials in Pennsylvania were allowing mail-in ballots returned with missing or incorrect dates on the envelope, but the state Supreme Court put a stop to it.

A Virginia judge ordered county election officials to follow state law and assign the main poll workers from different political parties in each precinct.  I’m in touch with activists from all over the country and ‘party parity’, as it is called, remains a problem in many places.

Hmm… I detect a pattern here, so far.  The problems I’ve mentioned came about because Democrats broke the law.  They’re scofflaws.

That means they have a lot in common with people recently charged with voter fraud.  Arizona indicted two people with illegal ballot harvesting last month.  They collected ballots from early voters and put them in a drop box.  That’s illegal in Arizona, but remains a problem in states like Virginia where the practice is legal.  It’s a bad practice.  Ballot harvesters have been known to pay people for votes, as in a ballot harvesting scheme just uncovered in Florida.  Also, nothing prevents fraudsters from stealing mail ballots, say, from apartment building lobbies, filling them out themselves, and dropping them in a ballot box.  There are too many loose ballots floating around before election day to think ballot harvesting is a good idea.  Ballot harvesting is a Democrat idea.  No wonder they don’t want to talk about it, or the unsecured drop boxes that enable ballot harvesting schemes.  The Chester County Pennsylvania elections board settled a lawsuit by agreeing to secure their drop boxes after activist surveillance video showed people dropping multiple ballots into the boxes.  Voters can only put their own ballot into the boxes, not ballots collected from others.  The board agreed to put up cameras and staff the boxes.

Democrats are still trying to hang on to changes made to the electoral process because of COVID, but a state judge ruled New York can no longer use COVID as an excuse for emergency rules and knocked down absentee voting rules that had been expanded during the pandemic.  Fewer loose ballots floating around – sorry, Democrats.

For the Democrats to sustain their phony election denier and voter suppression narratives, they’re going to have to prove that all the courts, law enforcement and elections officials I mentioned here today are election deniers who are trying to suppress the vote.  They’re all part of a vast conspiracy trying to deny people their civil rights. Good luck with that.

The correct analysis is the Democrats caused a bunch of problems, they won’t talk about the problems they themselves created, and they won’t fix them until forced to.  Fine, they’re on notice: the process of fixing our elections has begun and we won’t stop until we are confident we have free and fair elections once again.  Don’t mess with OUR right to vote.

Sam Bankman-Fried made donations to the Dems that totaled $39.8 million, putting him just behind George Soros and his $128 million in donations.

By: The Post Millenial,

According to Fortune, “30-year-old Bankman-Fried has been a major force in Democratic politics, ranking as the party’s second-biggest individual donor in the 2021–2022 election cycle.”

Bankman-Fried made donations to the Dems that totaled $39.8 million, putting him just behind George Soros and his $128 million in donations.

He had even promised to spend more money on Dems in the future, saying he could go “north of $100 million” with a “soft ceiling” of $1 billion for the 2024 elections.

Bankman-Fried was a significant donor to Biden in 2020. He’s the largest financial contributor to the Protect Our Future PAC, “the political action committee which endorsed Democratic candidates such as Peter Welch, who this week won his bid to become Vermont’s next senator, and Robert J. Menendez of New Jersey, who secured a House seat.”

As Bloomberg reports, Bankman-Fried had his net worth go from $15.6 billion to $1 billion in “the biggest one-day collapse it had ever seen among billionaires.”

It is expected that Bankman-Fried will go bankrupt in the face of a liquidity crunch and the abrupt change in financial status.

Reuters reports that FTX lost at least $1 billion of customer funds and that the money “vanished” casing federal regulators to look into the company. The investigation is to determine the extent of harm to clients and what laws FTX may have broken.

Jordan Schachtel tweeted, “Sam Bankman-Fried attempted to monopolize an entire industry and deploy it into the hands of the ruling class. His Ponzi blew up spectacularly after a successfully executed speculative attack. The demise of FTX should be a cause for celebration.”

New York, Nov 11 (Reuters) – At least $1 billion of customer funds have vanished from collapsed crypto exchange FTX, according to two people familiar with the matter.

The exchange’s founder Sam Bankman-Fried secretly transferred $10 billion of customer funds from FTX to Bankman-Fried’s trading company Alameda Research, the people told Reuters.

A large portion of that total has since disappeared, they said. One source put the missing amount at about $1.7 billion. The other said the gap was between $1 billion and $2 billion.

Joe Biden Holds Midterm Election Result Press Conference – Vows to Push Harder on Economic Agenda, Continue Targeting President Trump and Investigate Elon Musk

By: Sundance, Conservative Treehouse, November 9, 2022:

Joe Biden held a press conference today to celebrate the electioneering and ballot collection efforts of the Democrat party. The video and transcript of the press conference is below.

When questioned about any changes to his White House policy agenda, or what he plans to do differently, Biden said, “Nothing, because they’re just finding out what we’re doing. The more they know about what we’re doing, the more support there is.” Current support for Biden’s economic policy agenda is around 22%, current opposition 78%.

Here’s the video:

Transcript

THE PRESIDENT:  Good afternoon.  Well, we had an election yesterday.  (Laughter.)  And it was a good day, I think, for democracy.  And I think it was a good day for America.  (Clears throat.)  Excuse me, I’m a little hoarse.

Our democracy has been tested in recent years.  But with their votes, the American people have spoken and proven once again that democracy is who we are.

The states across the country saw record voter turnout.  And the heart and soul of our democracy — the voters, the poll workers, the election officials — they did their job and they fulfilled their duty, and apparently without much interference at all — without any interference, it looks like.  And that’s a testament, I think, to the American people.

While we don’t know all of the results yet — at least, I don’t know them all yet — here’s what we do know.  While the press and the pundits are predicting a giant red wave, it didn’t happen.  And I know you were somewhat miffed by my — my obsessant [sic] optimism, but I felt good during the whole process.  I thought we were going to do fine.

While any seat lost is painful — some good Democrats didn’t win the — last night — Democrats had a strong night.  And we lost fewer seats in the House of Representatives than any Democratic President’s first midterm election in the last 40 years.  And we had the best midterms for governors since 1986.

And another thing that we know is that voters spoke clearly about their concerns — about raising costs — the rising costs and the need to get inflation down.  There are still a lot of people hurting that are very concerned.  And it’s about crime and public safety.  And they sent a clear and unmistakable message that they want to preserve our democracy and protect the right to choose in this country.

And I especially want to thank the young people of this nation, who — I’m told; I haven’t seen the numbers — voted in historic numbers again and — just as they did two years ago.  They voted to continue addressing the climate crisis, gun violence, their personal rights and freedoms, and the student debt relief.

Last night, I was pleased to call Maxwell Frost, the 25-year-old who got elected — I guess the youngest man ever elected to the United States Congress.  And I told him that he — I told him that I was the first elected — the second-youngest person ever elected to the United States Senate at 29; that I have no doubt he’s off to an incredible start in what, I’m sure, will be a long, distinguished career.  And when he’s President and they say, “Joe Biden is out in the outer office,” I don’t want him to say, “Joe who?”  (Laughter.)

But the voters were also clear that they’re still frustrated.  I get it.  I understand it’s been a really tough few years in this country for so many people.

When I came to office, we inherited a nation with a pandemic raging and an economy that was reeling.  And we acted quickly and boldly to vaccinate the country and to create a stable and sustained growth in our economy; long-term investment to rebuild America itself and our roads, our bridges, our ports, our airports, clean water systems, high-speed Internet.

And we’re just getting started.  The interesting thing is that this is all going to really come into clear view for people in the months — in the months of January, February, March of next year.  It’s just getting underway.  So, I’m optimistic about how the public is going to even be more embracive of what we’ve done.

Historic investments that are leading companies to invest literally hundreds of billions of dollars combined to build semiconductor factories and other advanced manufacturing here in America.  It’s going to create tens of thousands of good-paying jobs.

And, by the way, a significant number of those jobs are going to be jobs that pay an average of $126-, $127,000.  And you don’t need a college degree to get those jobs.

We’re dealing with global inflation as a result of the pandemic and Putin’s war in Ukraine.  We’re also handling it better than most other advanced nations in the world.

We’re lowering gas prices.

We looking — we’re taking on powerful interests to lower prescription drug costs and health insurance premiums and energy bills.

After 20 months of hard work, the pandemic no longer controls our lives.  It’s still a concern, but it no longer controls our lives.

Our economic policies have created a record 10 million new jobs since I came into office.  The unemployment rate is down from 6.4 when I was sworn in to 3.7 percent — near a 50-year low.  And we’ve done all this while lowering the federal deficit in the two years by $1.7 trillion.  Let me say it again: $1.7 trillion.  No administration has ever cut the deficit that much.

And reducing the federal deficit is one of the best things we can do to lower inflation.  But while we’ve made real progress as a nation, I know it’s hard for folks to see that project — that progress in their everyday lives.

And it’s hard to see the results from actions that we took while — that we have to implement what we’ve done.  But I believe we took the right steps for the country and for the American people.

In fact, if you look at the polls, an overwhelming majority — I don’t look at them much anymore, because I’m not sure how to read them anymore.  (Laughter.)  I hope you are uncertain as well.

But the overwhelming majority of the American people support the elements of my economic agenda — from rebuilding America’s roads and bridges; to lowering prescription drug costs; to a historic investment in tack- — tackling the climate crisis; to making sure that large corporations begin to pay their fair share in taxes.

And I’m confident these policies are working and that we’re on the right path, and we need to stick with them.

All these initiatives take hold as they do, from lead pipes being removed from schools and homes, to new factories being built in communities with a resurgence of American manufacturing.  It’s already created, by the way, 700,000 brand new manufacturing jobs.

You’ve heard me say it ad nauseam: I don’t know where it’s written it says we can’t be the manufacturing capital of the world.  We are now exporting product, not jobs, around the world.

People across the country are going to see even more clearly the positive effects on their day-to-day lives.  But I still understand why they’re hurting right now and so many people are concerned.

As I have throughout my career, I’m going to continue to work across the aisle to deliver for the American people.  And it’s not always easy, but we did it the first term.  And I’ll be — surprised lot of people that we signed over 210 bipartisan laws since I’ve become President.  And we’re revitalizing American manufacturing; gun safety — we did it together — and dozens of laws positively impacting on our veterans.

And let me say this: Regardless — regardless of what the final tally in these elections show — and there’s still some counting going on — I’m prepared to work with my Republican colleagues.  The American people have made clear, I think, that they expect Republicans to be prepared to work with me as well.

In the area of foreign policy, I hope we’ll continue this bipartisan approach of confronting Russia’s aggression in Ukraine.

When I return from the G20 meetings in Indonesia with other world leaders, I’m going to invite the leaders of both political parties, as I’ve done in the past on my foreign trips, to the White House to discuss how we can work together for the remainder of this year and into the next Congress to advance the economic and national security priorities of the United States.

And I’m open to any good ideas.  I want to be very clear: I’m not going to support any Republican proposal that’s going to make inflation worse.  For example, the voters don’t want to pay higher prescription costs for drugs.  We’ve cut that now.  We’re going to kick into gear next year — the next calendar year.  And I’m not going to walk away from the historic commitments we just made to take on the climate crisis.  They’re not compromise-able issues to me, and I won’t let it happen.

The voters don’t want more taxes for the super we- — tax cuts for the super wealthy and biggest corporations.  And I’m going to continue to focus on cost-cutting for working- and middle-class families, and building an economy from the bottom up in the middle out.

I know you’re tired of hearing me say that, but I genuinely mean it.  That’s what makes America grow.  The wealthy do very well when the middle class is doing well, and the poor have a way up.

And while continuing to bring down the federal deficit.

You know, as we look at tax cuts, we should be looking at tax cuts for working people and middle-class people, not the very wealthy.  They’re fine.

I — look, I — if you can go out and be a multimillionaire, that’s great.  Just — just pay your fair share.  That’s all.  That’s all.  Just pay your fair share.  It’s like those 55 corporations in 2000 [2020] that made $40 billion and didn’t pay a penny in federal taxes.

It’s not right.  Everybody has an obligation.  So now they have to pay a staggering 15 percent.  And you all pay more than that in your taxes.

So I’m going to keep my commitment that no one — no one earning less than $400,000 a year — and that’s a lot of money, where I come from — are going to see their federal taxes go up.

And I want to be very clear: Under no circumstances will I support the proposal put forward by Senator Johnson and the senator from down in Florida to cut or make fundamental changes in Social Security and Medicare.  That’s not on the table.  I will not do that.

I will veto any attempt to pass a national ban on abortion.

But I’m ready to compromise with the Republicans where it makes sense on many other issues.  And I’ll always put the needs and interests of the American people first.

So let me close with this.  On this election season, the American people made it clear: They don’t want every day going forward to be a constant political battle.  There’s too much that — of that going on.  And there’s too much that we have to do.

The future of America is too promising — too promising to be trapped in an endless political warfare.

And I really mean it.  You’ve heard me say it time and again for the last 20 months or so: I am so optimistic about the prospects for America.  We need to be looking to the future, not fixated on the past.  And that future is bright as can be.

We — we’re the only nation in the world that’s come out of every crisis stronger than we went into the crisis.  And that’s a fact.  I mean — I mean I literally mean that: We’ve come out stronger than we’ve gone in.

And I’ve never been more optimistic about America’s future than I am today.  You know, I — particularly because of all those young people I’ve talked about, 18 to 30.  They’re showing up.  They’re the best-educated generation in American history, they’re the least prejudiced generation in American history, the most engaged generation in American history, and the most involved.

Look, after a long campaign season, I still believe what I always have: This is a great nation, and we’re a great people.  And it’s never been a good bet to bet against America.  Never been a good bet to bet against America.

There’s nothing, nothing beyond our capacity if we work together.  We just need to remember who the hell we are.  We’re the United States of America.  The United States of America.  There’s nothing beyond our capacity.

And I’m pretty well convinced that we’re going to be able to get a lot done.  Now, I’ve been given a list of 10 people that I’m supposed to call on.  And you’re all supposed to ask me one question, but I’m sure you’ll ask me more.  (Laughter.)

And so let me start off with a list I’ve been given.  Zeke Miller, Associated Press.

Q    Thank you, Mr. President.  I have two questions for you.  As you mentioned — (laughter).  As you mentioned —

THE PRESIDENT:  (Laughs.)  How come we never hold you guys to the same standards you hold us to?  (Laughter.)  But, anyway, go ahead.

Q    (Inaudible.)

THE PRESIDENT:  I’m teasing.  I’m teasing.  I’m teasing.  I’m teasing.

Q    You mentioned that Americans are frustrated.  And, in fact, 75 percent of voters say the country is heading in the wrong direction, despite the results of last night.  What in the next two years do you intend to do differently to change people’s opinion of the direction of the country, particularly as you contemplate a run for President in 2024?

THE PRESIDENT:  Nothing, because they’re just finding out what we’re doing.  The more they know about what we’re doing, the more support there is.

Do you know anybody who wants us to get rid of the change we made on prescription drug prices and raise prices again?  Do you know anybody who wants us to walk away from building those roads and bridges and — and the Internet and so on?  I don’t — I don’t know any- —

I think that the problem is the major piece of legislation we passed — and some of it bipartisan — takes time to be recognized.

For example, you got — you got over a trillion dollars’ worth of infrastructure money, but not that many spades have been put in the ground.  It’s taking time.

For example, I was on the phone congratulating a Californian recently and then someone in — up in Scranton, Pennsylvania — the Congressman who got elected.  And he said, “Can you help us make sure we’re able to have high-speed rail ser- — rail service from Scranton to New York — New York City?”  I said, “Yeah, we can.  We can.”

First of all, it’ll make it a lot easier, take a lot of vehicles off the road.  And we have more money in the — in the pot now already — already out there — we voted for — than the entire money we spent on Amtrak to begin with.

It’s the same way — for example, I talked about, through the campaign, that we’re going to limit the cost of insulin for seniors to $35 a month instead of $400 a month.  Well, it doesn’t take effect until next year.

So there’s a lot of things that are just starting to kick in.  And the same way with what we’ve done in terms of environmental stuff.  It takes time to get it moving.

So, I’m not going to change — as a matter of fact, you know there’s some things I want to change and add to.  For example, we had — passed the most bipartisan, we passed the most extensive gun legislation, anti- — you know, rational gun policy in 30 years.  And — but we didn’t ban assault weapons.  I’m going to ban assault weapons.  They’re going to try like the devil —

So, I’m not going to change the direction.  I said I ran for three reasons.  I’m going to continue to stay where I’m — and I know — I fully understand the legitimate concern that what I’m saying is wrong.  Okay?

One is that I said we’re going to restore the soul of the country, begin to treat each other with decency, honor, and integrity.  And it’s starting to happen.  People are — the conversations are becoming more normal, becoming more — more — how can I say it? — decent.

Second thing I said is I want to build a country from the middle out and the bottom up.  And that way, everybody does fine.  I’m tired of trickle-down.  Not a whole lot trickles down when you trickle down to hardworking folks.

And the third thing — I know is still very hard — I’m going to do everything in my power to see through that we unite the country.  It’s hard to sustain yourself as a leading democracy in the world if you can’t — can’t generate some unity.

So, I’m not going to change anything in any fundamental way.

Q    And just on a different topic, Mr. President.  Russia today claimed that it had evacuated the Kherson region and the Kherson city.  Do you believe that this is potentially an inflection in that conflict?  And do you believe that Ukraine now has the leverage it needs to begin peace negotiations with Moscow?

THE PRESIDENT:  First of all, I found it interesting they waited until after the election to make that judgement, which we knew for some time that they were going to be doing.  And it’s evidence of the fact that they have some real problems — Russian — the Russian military.  Number one.

Number two, whether or not that leads to — at a minimum, it will lead to time for everyone to recalibrate their positions over the winter period.  And it remains to be seen whether or not there’ll be a judgment made as to whether or not Ukraine is prepared to compromise with Russia.

I’m going to be going to the G20.  I’m told that President Putin is not likely to be there, but other world leaders are going to be there in Indonesia.  And we’re going to have an opportunity to see what — what the next steps may be.

Nancy.  CBS.  Nancy Cordes.

Q    Thank you, Mr. President.  I have a few questions.

THE PRESIDENT:  (Laughs.)  Okay.

Q    I’ve been saving them up.  First of all, Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy said last night that, “It is clear we are going to take the House back.”  Do you think he’s probably right about that?

THE PRESIDENT:  Well, based on what we know as — as of today, we’ve — we’ve lost very few seats for certain.  We still have a possibility of keeping the House, but it’s going to be close.  And — for example, in Nevada, we won all three of those seats — contested seats.  I went out for each, and I spoke with each — for each of those folks.  But we won them all.  I didn’t know that last night.

So it’s a moving target right now, but it’s going to be very close.

Q    Can you — can you describe your relationship with Mr. McCarthy?  How often do you speak to him?  What do you think of him?

THE PRESIDENT:  I think he’s the Republican Leader, and I haven’t had much of occasion to talk to him.  But I will be talking to him.  I think — I think I’m talking to him later today.

Q    When it comes to your legislative agenda — when you were Vice President, your legislative agenda basically ran into a brick wall two years in when Republicans took control of the House, and that lasted for the rest of the Obama presidency.  Is there any way for you to prevent that same fate from happening this time around —

THE PRESIDENT:  Yes.

Q    — if Republicans take control of the House?

THE PRESIDENT:  Yes, because it’s going to be much closer if they take control.

Look, the predictions were — and again, I’m not being critical of anybody who made the predictions.  I got it, okay?  This was supposed to be a red wave.  You guys — you were talking about us losing 30 to 50 seats and this was going to — we’re nowhere near — that’s not going to happen.  And so, there’s always enough people in the — on the other team, whether it’s Democrat or Republican, that the opposite party can make an appeal to and maybe pick them off to get the help.  And — and so it remains to be seen.

But, look, I doubt whether or not — for example, all the talk — I’d ask the rhet- — I don’t expect you to answer, but the rhetorical question: Do you think that, you know, Senator Johnson is going to move to cut Medicare and Social Security?  And if he does, how many Republicans do you think are going to vote for it?

So, it depends.

Q    And then, my — my final question.  (Laughs.)  Republicans have made it clear that if they do take control of the House, that they want to launch a raft of investigations on day one into your handling of Afghanistan, the border.  They want to look into some of your Cabinet officials.  They want to investigate you.  They may even want to investigate your son.  What’s your message to Republicans who are considering investigating your family and, particularly, your son Hunter’s business dealings?

THE PRESIDENT:  “Lots of luck in your senior year,” as my coach used to say.

Look, I think the American public want us to move on and get things done for them.  And, you know, I heard that there were — it was reported — whether it’s accurate or not, I’m not sure — but it was reported many times that Republicans were saying, and the former President said, “How many times are you going to impeach Biden?”  You know, impeachment proceedings against Bi- —

I mean, I think the — I think the American people will look at all of that for what it is.  It’s just almost comedy.  I mean, it’s — but, you know, look, I can’t control what they’re going to do.  All I can do is continue to try to make life better for the American people.

Okay.  Phil.  Phil Mattingly, CNN.

Q    Thank you, Mr. President.  I have 37 ques- — I’m kidding.  (Laughter.)

THE PRESIDENT:  (Laughs.)

Q    Sir, at a fundraiser last month, you said, quote, “The rest of the world is looking at this election…both the good guys and the bad guys.”  You noted you’re going to G20 in a couple days.  You’ll come face to face with many of those leaders at the same moment that your predecessor is considering launching his reelection effort.  How should those world leaders, both good guys and bad guys, view this moment both for America and for your presidency?

THE PRESIDENT:  Well, first of all, these world leaders know we’re doing better than anybody else in the world, as a practical matter.  Notwithstanding the difficulties we have, our economy is growing.  You saw the last report; we’re still growing at 2.6 percent.  We’re creating jobs.  We’re still in a solid position.  And there’s not many other countries in the world that are in that position.

And I promise you, from the telephone calls I still have and from the meetings I have with other heads of state, they’re looking to the United States and saying, “How are you doing?  And what are you doing?  What can we do together?  How…”

So I think that the vast majority of my colleagues — at least those colleagues who are NATO members — European Union, Japan, South Korea, et cetera — I think they’re looking to cooperate and wanting to know how — how we can help one another.

And what was the other question?

Q    (Inaudible) I hadn’t asked it yet.

THE PRESIDENT:   Oh, I’m sorry.

Q    No, no, no.  So, I think the — one way to follow up on that is you noted that you felt like there was a shift in terms of people being willing to show more decency in this moment.  You’ve often talked about breaking the fever or kind of a transition from this moment that we faced over the last several years.  Do you feel like the election is what represents that?  Do you feel like the fever has broken, I guess?

THE PRESIDENT:  Well, I’m not — I don’t think we’re going to break the fever for the super mega MAGA Republicans.  I mean — but I think they’re a minority of the Republican Party.  I think the vast majority of the members of the Republican Party, we disagree strongly on issues but they’re decent, honorable people.  We have differe- — differences of agreement on — on issues.

But they — you know, I — I worked with a lot of these folks in the Senate and the House for a long time.  And, you know, they — they’re — they’re honest, and they’re — and they’re straightforward.  They’re different than mine, but they’re — you know, they’re — they’re decent folks.

And so, I think that the rest of the world — and a lot of you have covered other parts of the world, and you know — the rest of the world is looking at the United States.  I guess the best way to say this is to — is to repeat what you’ve — some — some of you’ve heard me say before.

The first G7 meeting — for the public, that’s the — the seven largest democracies — when I went to — right after we got elected, in February, after I got sworn in in January.  And I sat down at a table — a roundtable with the six other world leaders from the European Union, the United — and — and Canada, et cetera, and said, “America is back.”  And one of them turned to me and said, “For how long?  For how long?”  It was a deadly earnest question: “For how long?”

And I looked at them.  And then another one went on to say — and I’m not going to name them — went on to say, “What would you say, Joe, if, in fact, you went — we went to bed tonight here in — in England, woke up the next morning and found out that thousands of people had stormed the parliament of — of Great Britain — gone down the hall, broken down the doors, two cops ended up dying, a number of people injured, and they tried to stop the co- — the confirmation of an election?”  It’s not the same situation, obviously, as we have.  And he said, “What would you think?”

And what — I ask a rhetorical question: What would you all think?  You’d think England was really in trouble.  You’d think democracy was on the edge if that happened in Great Britain.

And so, that’s the way people were looking at us, like, “When is this going to stop?”  Nothing like this has happened since the Civil War.  I don’t want to exaggerate.  But literally, nothing like this has happened since the Civil War.

And so, what I find is that they want to know: Is the United States stable?  Do we know what we’re about?  Are we the same democracy we’ve always been?

Because, look, the rest of the world looks to us — I don’t mean that we’re always — like we’re always right.  But if the United States tomorrow were to, quote, “withdraw from the world,” a lot of things would change around the world.  A whole lot would change.

And so, they’re very concerned that we are still the open democracy we’ve been and that we have rules and the institutions matter.  And that’s the context in which I think that they’re looking at: Are we back to a place where we are going to accept decisions made by the Court, by the Congress, by the government, et cetera?

Q    So the entire genesis of that G7 conversation was tied to your predecessor, who is about to launch another campaign.  So how do you reassure them, if that is the reason for their questioning, that the former President will not return or that his political movement, which is still very strong, will not —

THE PRESIDENT:  Oh, yeah?  (Laughs.)

Q    — once again take power in the United States?

THE PRESIDENT:  Well, we just have to demonstrate that he will not take power by — if we — if he does run.  I’m making sure he, under legitimate efforts of our Constitution, does not become the next President again.

Q    Thanks.

THE PRESIDENT:  Steve, Reuters.  I’m sorry.  Steve Holland.

Q    Thank you, sir.  How do you interpret last night’s results in terms of deciding whether you want to seek another term?  Is it now more likely that you will run?  And what’s going to be your timeline for consideration?

THE PRESIDENT:  Well, first of all, Jill and I have — and by the way, this is my wife, Jill — (laughter) — who’s a hell of a lot more popular than I am in the Democratic Party, too.

But at any rate, all kidding aside, our — our intention is to run again.  That’s been our intention, regardless of what the outcome of this election was.  And the fact that we won — we — I didn’t run — the fact that the Democratic Party outperformed anything anyone expected and did better than any off-year presidency since John Kennedy is one that gives everybody, like, “Hoo” — sigh of relief — that the mega Republicans are not taking over the government again, et cetera.

And so, my judgment of running, when I announce — if I annou- — now, my intention is that I run again.  But I’m a great respecter of fate.  And this is, ultimately, a family decision.  I think everybody wants me to run, but they’re go- — we’re going to have discussions about it.  And I don’t feel any — any hurry one way or another what — to — to make that judgment today, tomorrow, whenever, no matter what the — my predecessor does.

Q    By end of the year or early next year?  Or what’s your — what’s you’re thinking?

THE PRESIDENT:  Well, I — my guess is — I hope Jill and I get a little time to actually sneak away for a week around — between Christmas and Thanksgiving.  (Laughs.)  And my guess is it would be early next year we make that judgment.

Q    Thanks.

THE PRESIDENT:  But it is my plan to do it now.  I mean, but — you know.

Okay, I’m sorry.  Karen.  Karen Travers of ABC Radio.

Q    Thank you, Mr. President.  WNBA star Brittney Griner today was moved to a Russian penal colony to serve out her nine-year sentence.  Do you have an update right now on her condition?  What do you know about that?  And does this mark a new phase in negotiations with the Russians to secure her release?  Can the U.S. now fully engage in talks on a prisoner swap?

And then a follow-up, if I can.

THE PRESIDENT:  Well, we’ve been — we’ve been engaging on a regular basis.  I’ve been — I’ve been spending a fair amount of time with — with her wife about what’s going on with her.

And my guess is — my hope is that now that the election is over, that Mr. Putin will be able to discuss with us and be willing to talk more seriously about a prisoner exchange.

That is my intention.  My intention is to get her home.  And we’ve had a number of discussions so far.  And I’m hopeful that, now that our election is over, there is a willingness to — to negotiate more specifically with us.

Thank you.

Q    And, if I can, your Press Secretary had said that the U.S. government has continued to follow up on that significant offer but also had proposed “alternative potential ways forward” with the Russians.  Can you tell us what those “alternative ways forward” are and how Russia has responded to those?

THE PRESIDENT:  Yes, I can, but I won’t.  Okay, I can’t — I mean, you know, it would — it would not be a wise thing to do in order to see if they would move forward.

But it is my — I’m telling you, I am determined to get her home and get her home safely — along with others, I might add.

April Ryan.

Q    Of TheGrio.

THE PRESIDENT:  Of TheGrio.  Excuse me.  I beg your pardon.

Q    (Laughs.)  Thank you, sir.

THE PRESIDENT:  I got it right last time we did this.

Q    Yes, you did.  Yes, you did.

Mr. President, I have a couple of questions on several issues.  One, the Supreme Court.  As you know, the Supreme Court has before it the issue of college admissions and affirmative action.  What can and are you planning in case of a rollback that is expected?

There are legal analysts that say that there will be drastic implications, there are tentacles from this, and they even say that this can impact Brown v. Board — the decision from Brown v. Board.

THE PRESIDENT:  Well, you know, first of all, I asked our Justice Department to defend the present policy before the Supreme Court.  And like a lot of pundits, I’m not prepared to believe that the Supreme Court is going to overrule the pre- — the existing decision.  That’s far from certain.  And I don’t be- — I don’t believe that.

But number one — so, number one, what I did to try to change it is object to it before the Supreme Court of the United States — our administration.

Number two, I — there are a number of things that we can and must do to make it — and, by the way, this is a case involving an Asian American, in terms of getting into school, and whether there’s affirmative action makes sense at all from the standpoint of those who are arguing against it.

But, you know, the fact is that we’re — we’re also in a circumstance where there’s a lot that we can do in the meantime to make sure that there’s an access to good education across the board.  And that is by doing things that relate to starting education at age three — formal schooling at age three — which it increases — not daycare, but school.  All the studies over 10 years show that that increases the prospect of someone making it through 12 years without any difficulty, no matter what the background they come from, by 56 percent.

And I also think that we should be making sure that we have the ability to provide for two years of education beyond that, whether it’s apprenticeships or community colleges.

And we also are in a situation where I think that — for example, I want to make sure we — a lot of it has to do with finances as well — that we make sure that we have help for people who come from modest means to be able to get to school.

You know, the cost of college education has increased fourfold.  And it used to be that a Pell Grant would cover something like 70 percent of the college tuition.  Now it covers significantly less than that.  So I want to increase the Pell Grants as well.

But let’s see what the Supreme Court decides.  And I’m — I am hopeful.  And our team and our — the lawyers who argued for us are not nearly as certain as the people you quoted as saying it’s going to be overruled.

Q    Next question, sir.  The issue is inflation.  TheGrio and KFF conducted a study of Black voters that said inflation was the number one issue, and we saw it in this midterm election.

What can you promise concretely in these next two years that will help turn the pocketbook for the better in the midst of staving off a recession?

THE PRESIDENT:  Well, a number of things.  First of all, un- — Black unemployment is almost cut in half under my administration just since I began.  More Black businesses have opened up — small businesses — than ever before.

We’re now in a situation where we’re providing, through the Small Business Administration, down payments for people buying homes, because most people accumulate wealth in the value of their home, most middle-class families like mine.  My dad bought a home, didn’t have — just scraped together to get a home.  By the time he was able to retire, he was — he had built up equity in a home.  That’s how most people do that.

And so — but what I can’t do is I can’t guarantee that we’re going to be able to get rid of inflation, but I do think we can.

We brought — we’ve already brought down the price of gasoline about $1.20 a gallon across the board.  And I think that the — the — the — the oil companies are really doing the nation a real disservice.

They’ve made — six of them made over $100 billion in the last quarter in profit.  A hundred billion dollars.

In the past, if they had done the two things that they had done before — one, invest in more refineries and producing more product and/or passing on the rebates to the gas stations that — you know, they sell the oil at a cheaper rate than they have to — than they are selling it now, not taking advantage.  And that lowers the price of the total gallon of gas because that gets passed on.

So there’s a whole lot of things that we can do that are — that are difficult to do, but we’re going to continue to push to do them.

And the other thing is that one of the things that makes a gigantic difference is what are the costs that exist in the average family and the average Black community.  One, prescription drug costs.  Well, we’re driving those down precipitously, beginning next year.

And, you know, I’ll bet you know a lot of people in the African American and — and Caucasian community that — that need to take insulin for diabetes.  Well, we’re going to reduce that cost.  They’re not going to pay more than $35 for the insulin instead of four- — average of $400.

And I can go down the list of the things that — my dad used to say it a different way.  At the end of the month, the things you have to pay for, from your mortgage to food on the table to gasoline in the automobile, do you have enough money to do it?  And when it’s done, do you have anything left over?  And medical bills are a big piece of that, particularly in the African American community and the poor — and poorer communities.  They need help.

And so we’re driving down all of those costs.  And we’ve already passed the legislation to do that; it’s just taking effect.

So there’s a lot of things we can do to affect the things that people need on a monthly basis to reduce their inflation, their cost of living.

And so — but I am optimistic, because we continue to grow and at a rational pace, we’re not anywhere near a recession right now, in terms of the growth.  But I think we can have what most economists call a “soft landing.”  I’m convinced that we’re going to be able to gradually bring down prices so that they, in fact, end up with us not having to move into a recession to be able to get control of inflation.

Q    And, Mr. President, last question on humanity.  I know, everybody else got some.

Q    Not everybody else.

Q    Well, you’re coming.

THE PRESIDENT:  Okay, go ahead.

Q    Last question on humanity.  Sir, you can’t legislate and you can’t executive order out the issue of empathy or the lack thereof in the midst of this rhetoric — this heated political rhetoric.  What’s next?

THE PRESIDENT:  Part of what I think leadership requires — and I hope I meet the standard — is letting people know you understand their problem.

Again, my dad used to have an expression.  He said, “I don’t expect the government to solve my problems, but I expect them to at least know what they are, understand them.”

And like a lot of you, we’ve been very fortunate as a family, but we’ve also been through a lot of fairly tough times.  And it’s not — and I’ve had the great advantage of having a family to get through them.

When my first wife and daughter were killed when a tractor trailer broadsided them and killed my wife and — killed my — my first wife and killed my daughter, and my two boys were expected to die; they were in the — it took the Jaws of Life three hours to get them out.  They were on top of their dead mother and dead sister.

I understand what that pain is like.

And when Jill and I lost Beau after a year in Iraq, winning the Bronze Star and Conspicuous Service Medal, a major in the United States military, came home with Stage 4 glioblastoma because he lived about 200, 5- — between 2- and 500 yards from burn pit that’s 10 feet deep and as big as a football field, burning every toxic waste you could find.

You know, I think that we — we understand what it’s like to lose family members, mothers, fathers, to can- — all of you have been through that kind of thing.

We’ve been fortunate, though.  We’ve had each other.  We’ve had strong families — Jill’s sisters, my brothers, my sister.

And so what we can do to deal with that empathy is make sure there’s help available, make sure there’s people who are there to help — whether they are a psychologist or whether they’re medical doctors or whether they’re social workers — to be there to help, to help just hold a hand.

And, for example, we can do an awful lot for a lot of families, the families you’re talking about, if we re- — reinstate this Child Tax Credit.  It cut child poverty by 40 percent when it was in place.  I couldn’t get it passed the second time around.

So there’s a lot we can do.  And the empathy is not just talking about it, it’s communicating to people you genuinely understand.  And I hope a lot of people don’t understand, because they — I don’t want people having to know the pain.

But the second piece of that is: Let them know that you are there to help.  You’re there to help.

And one of the things I’ve talked with Vivek Murthy about — and a lot of you have written about it, and you’ve written it well about it — is the need for mental health care in America.  You know, when we got elected, there were something like, I don’t know, 2-, 3-, 5 million people who had gotten their — their COVID shots.

Well, in the meantime — I’ve got over 220 million people all three shots.  But in the meantime, what happened?  We lost over a million dead.  A million dead.

I read one study that for those million people, they had nine people who were — each one of them had, on average, nine people close to them.  A relative, someone they’re married to, a child — someone close.

The impact has been profound.  It’s been profound.  Think of all the people — think of all your children or your grandchildren who didn’t have that senior prom, who didn’t have that graduation party, who didn’t have all the things we had that we took for granted — the impact on their psyche.

So, there’s a lot we have to do.  And empathy reflects itself not just on what a person demonstrates they understand — of knowing what people need and helping to make it happen.  And we’re trying to do that.  And a lot of Republicans are trying to do it, too.  I don’t mean this is a partisan thing.  A lot of people are trying to do it because they know we got a problem.

Okay, excuse me.  These 10 questions are really going quickly.  (Laughter.)

Q    Stick around for more.

THE PRESIDENT:  (Laughs.)  Well, I’ve got to meet with some of my — talk to some of the Republican leadership soon.  But — anyway.

Jenny Leonard, Bloomberg.

Q    Thank you, Mr. President.  Two questions.  One, shifting back to your trip to Asia.  When you meet with President Xi Jinping of China, will you tell him that you’re committed to defending Taiwan militarily?  And what are you hoping to get out of this meeting that will make it a success?  Are you willing to make any concessions to him?

THE PRESIDENT:  Well, look, I’m not — I’m not willing to make any fundamental concessions because what I — what I’ve told him in the beginning — and this is — we’ve — I’ve spent over 78, I think they told me, hours with him so far — 67 in person, when I was Vice President.

President Obama knew he couldn’t spend time with the Vice President of another country, so I traveled 17,000 miles with them in China and around — and the United States.  I’ve met with him many times.

And I’ve told him: I’m looking for competition, not — not conflict.

And so what I want to do with him when we talk is lay out what the — what kind of — what each of our red lines are, understand what he believes to be in the critical national interests of China, what I know to be the critical interests of the United States, and to determine whether or not they conflict with one another.  And if they do, how to resolve it and how to work it out.

And so — and the Taiwan doctrine has not changed at all from the very beginning — the very beginning.  So, I’m sure we’ll discuss China — excuse me, Taiwan.  And I’m sure we’ll discuss a number of other issues, including fair trade and — and rela- — relationships relating to his relationship with other countries in the region.

And — and so, anyway.  So there’s a lot we’re going to have to discuss.

Do you want another question?

Q    Yes.

THE PRESIDENT:  Everybody else got one.

Q    You didn’t say if —

THE PRESIDENT:  Or two or three.

Q    You didn’t say if you will tell Xi Jinping personally that you are committed to defending Taiwan.

THE PRESIDENT:  I’m going to have that conversation with him.

Q    That wasn’t my second one, sorry.  (Laughter.)

Sorry, I actually have an unrelated question too.  Mr. President, do you think Elon Musk is a threat to U.S. national security?  And should the U.S. — and with the tools you have — investigate his joint acquisition of Twitter with foreign governments, which include the Saudis?

THE PRESIDENT:  (Laughs.)  I think that Elon Musk’s cooperation and/or technical relationships with other countries is worthy of being looked at.  Whether or not he is doing anything inappropriate, I’m not suggesting that.  I’m suggesting that it wor- — worth being looked at.  And — and — but that’s all I’ll say.

Q    How?

THE PRESIDENT:  There’s a lot of ways.

All right.  Kristen.  Kristen Welker.

THE PRESIDENT:  Thank you so much, Mr. President.  I appreciate it.

I want to follow up with you on working with Republicans.  Leader McCarthy again suggested that he is not prepared to write what he has called a “blank check” to Ukraine.  And yet, you expressed optimism that funding for Ukraine would continue, that the policies toward Ukraine would continue.  Why should the people of Ukraine and this country have confidence in that, given the comments by Leader McCarthy?

And just to follow up with you on your comments to Zeke, you said you don’t need to do anything differently.  If Republicans control the House, don’t you need to recalibrate, to some extent, to try to work across the aisle with a Republican-led House?

THE PRESIDENT:  Well, let me put it this way.  What I meant was: I don’t have to change any of the policies that have already passed.  That’s what they said they want to go after.

And so, what I have is a simple proposition: I have a pen that can veto.  Okay?  So, that’s what I mean.  I don’t have to recalibrate whether or not I’m going to continue to, you know, fund the — we’re going to continue to fund the infrastructure bill or we’re going to continue to fund the environment, et cetera.

What — we have to — I hope — I think there’s a growing pressure, on the part of the American people, expecting both parties and all elements of both parties to — to work out their substantive differences and not just, “I’m not going to do that because it would benefit that party.”  Just make it — make it personal.

So, I — and, you know, it remains to be seen what the makeup of the House will be.  But I’m hopeful that Kevin and I can work out a modus vivendi as to how we’ll proceed with one another.

Q    So, will aid to Ukraine continue uninterrupted?

THE PRESIDENT:  That is my expectation.  And, by the way, we’ve not given Ukraine a blank check.  There’s a lot of things that Ukraine wants we didn’t — we didn’t do.

For example, I was asked very much whether we prefe- — we’d provide American aircraft to guarantee the skies over Ukraine.  I said, “No, we’re not going to do that.  We’re not going to get into a third world war, taking on Russian aircraft and directly engage.”  But would we provide them with all — the rational ability to defend themselves?  Yes.

We provide those HIMARS.  Well, the HIMARS — there’s two kinds of, in the average person’s parlance, rockets you can drop in those: one that goes over 600 miles and one that goes about 160 miles.  We didn’t give them any ones that go to 600 miles, because I’m not looking for them to start bombing Russian territory.

And so, we want to make sure that there’s a relationship that they’re able to defend themselves and take on what is purely a — a — the ugliest aggression that’s occurred since World War Two on a massive scale, on the part of Putin, within Ukraine.  And there’s so much at stake.

So, I would be surprised if — if Leader McCarthy even has a majority of his Republican colleagues who say they’re not going to fund the legitimate defensive needs of Ukraine.

Q    And just quick one.  Obviously, a lot of attention on 2024 now that the votes have been cast in the midterms.  Two thirds of Americans in exit polls say that they don’t think you should run for reelection.  What is your message to them?  And how does that factor into your final decision about whether or not to run for reelection?

THE PRESIDENT:  It doesn’t.

Q    What’s your message to them — to those two thirds of Americans?

THE PRESIDENT:  Watch me.  (Laughter.)

Q    Okay.  One more.  (Laughter.)  Very quickly.  You saw Governor Ron DeSantis with a resounding victory in Florida last night.  Who do you think would be the tougher competitor: Ron DeSantis or former President Trump?  And how is that factoring into your decision?

THE PRESIDENT:  It’d be fun watching them take on each other.  (Laughter.)

All right.  David Sanger.

Q    Thank you, Mr. President.  I also have a question for you about China.  But before I do, I just wanted to follow up on something you said earlier when you said “it remains to be seen whether” the Ukraine government “is prepared to compromise with Russia.”  Previously, you’ve told us the only thing for the Russians to do is get completely out of Ukraine, go back to the — the lines that existed prior to February 24.  Are you suggesting with the word “compromise,” that you think that there is room for territorial compromise now?  That —

THE PRESIDENT:  No, I’m not say- — that’s up to the Ukrainians.  Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine.

Q    But what kind of compromise do you have in mind?

THE PRESIDENT:  I didn’t have any in mind.  You have asked the question whether or not, if I recall — whether or not — what would happen if, in fact, after the — this — I think the context is that whether or not they’re pulling back from Fallujah.  And the — I mean, from the —

Q    Kherson.

THE PRESIDENT:  Kherson.  The — the city of Kherson.  And they’re coming back across the river to the eastern side of the river — the Russian forces.  And I said what’s going to happen is they’re going to both lick their wounds, decide whether — what they’re going to do over the winter, and decide whether or not they’re going to compromise.

That’s — that’s what’s going to happen, whether or not.  I don’t know what they’re going to do.  And — but I do know one thing: We’re not going to tell them what they have to do.

Q    You were asked before about the — your meeting with President Xi.  At this point, the Chinese government, by the estimate of the Pentagon, is getting ready to bring their force of nuclear weapons up to over 1,000 weapons.  Significant increase from what they’ve had for many decades.  You’ve seen the threats from President Putin about the use of his nuclear forces —

THE PRESIDENT:  Remember how you all went after him when I said that was real?

Q    And what — what, in your view, happened?  Do you think he — he backed off because of that, (inaudible)?

THE PRESIDENT:  No, no, I’m just saying.  I just — I just found it interesting that, “Biden is being apop- — apoc- –acop- — Biden is being extremist.”  And — and it turns out you all are writing about it now.  Kind of fascinating.

Q    So my question is: Do you think that they are putting together a real alliance, the Chinese and the Russians?  And do you believe that you need to begin speaking with President Xi about some form of arms control if he’s going to get up to a level of weapons similar to what the United States and Russia have right now?

THE PRESIDENT:  No and yes.  No, I don’t think there’s a lot of respect that China has for Russia or for Putin.  I don’t think they’re looking at it as a particular alliance.  Matter of fact, they’ve been sort of keeping their distance a little bit.

I do think that it remains to be seen whether Xi Jinping has decided that — or backed off of his initial judgment that he wanted Ukrai- — excuse me, China to have the most powerful military in the world, as well as the largest economy.

And — but he’s a long way from both.  But I think — I think — talk about nuclear weapons and location and the number of them and access is important to discuss.

Thank you all so very, very much.

(Cross-talk by reporters.)

Thank you very, very much.  We’ll do another — we’ll do another hour a little later.  Thank you so much.  (Laughter.)  Thank you.

People who foretold and warned of the coming Deep State, Dark State and the current ‘Police State of America’

Americans are very concerned about the growing powers of the federal government especially its law enforcement branches, i.e. the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Many have written about the deep state. In a July 12th, 2018 column titled The Deep State vs. The Dark State wrote:

The “Deep State” adherents are the long-serving entrenched bureaucrats who are key to making the engine of government function. Presidents come and go, but those in the “Deep State” are 15, 20 and longer in year’s entrenched mid-level managers and upper level managers to which paper work and duties of carrying out the decisions and proclamations of a president must go to be enacted.

[ … ]

The members of the “Dark Stateare a different animal; although, they, too, have gummed-up the effective workings of government to accomplish their goals and agendas; namely, to collapse the United States into the New-World Order, the Global community which will be hedonistic and communistic in style and belief, and worse! The members of this diabolical state are many whose names you are acquainted with; the Clintons, Obamas, Schiff, Pelosi, Schumer, Clapper, Comey, Brennan, Mueller, with a list very long, and many within the list not named in publications often. The list does not exclude Republicans, with many on the Republican side like, McConnell, McCain, Romney, Paul Ryan, examples…and include the Bush Family to this list along with still many others who have adopted the global community goal. [Emphasis added]

What we are seeing today is the rapid expansion of the “Dark State” bent on destroying those who oppose their hedonistic and communist efforts to fundamentally transform America.

As George Orwell, in his dystopian novel 1984, warned, “BIG BROTHER IS WATHCING YOU!”

But there were those who foretold this massive invasion of our government to do harm to political opponents rather than enforce the laws of the land.

Watch:

One of the ways the federal government has flexed its powers is to become the sole judge of what is true and what is not true. Today its the federal government that determines what is and is not mis-, dis-, and mal-information. But others warned that this was coming.

Watch.

Here is the entire interview:

America is now at a crossroads. The powers to be warn that the 2022 midterm elections is all about preserving democracy.

Here is what our Founding Father John Adams said about democracy,

“Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”

America is a Constitutional Republic and this means that the power lies in the hands of we the people and not the federal government, the deep state nor the dark state.

Today we have a police state. Time to dismantle the federal police state and restore law and order to our land. We need those who hold near and dear their faith, family and fully embrace freedom.

Law and order is on the 2022 midterm ballot in states like New York, Illinois and Michigan. The economy and cost of living is the prime driver of working Americans. School choice is also on the ballot as is pushback against the LGBTQIE+ agendas.

Pray that voters save American!

May God continue to bless the USA!

Regardless of your party affiliation, vote for Republicans

NEW CASTLE, Pa. /PRNewswire/ — The following is a statement from Lynne RyanLawrence County Republican Committee Chairwoman:

Lawrence County is composed of hardworking Pennsylvanians who are currently struggling. We’re struggling to make ends meet. Struggling to attain a better life for our families; struggling to make ourselves heard by our government.

We have the opportunity to improve these things and change the current climate on November 8, 2022. It is imperative that we get out to vote and elect Dr. Mehmet Oz for U.S. Senate and Doug Mastriano for PA Governor. We must retain Mike Kelly as U.S. Representative, Michele Brooks as State Senator, Aaron Bernstine as State Representative, and we need Marla Brown as our State Representative.

After eight years of disaster in Harrisburg under Governor Wolf, it is important that Lawrence County remembers just how badly he hurt our state. From extended lockdowns, attacks on our energy industry, destroying our schools and spending taxpayer money as if it grew on trees to vetoing legislation to keep criminals who are violent in prison behind bars, he has shown his disdain for all things Pennsylvania.

While Mastriano was telling us to “walk as free people”, the Wolf administration (Attorney General Shapiro included) was hiding and locking down businesses they deemed nonessential resulting in many businesses being permanently shuttered and hurting Pennsylvania families in the process. To ensure this doesn’t happen again, we need to show up en masse to vote and have our voices heard.

Mastriano wants to improve our lives by reopening industries for all sixty-seven counties, including Lawrence, to once again reap the benefits of the oil and gas that is right beneath our feet, while Shapiro would continue to attack those industries.

The current administration is not tough on crime. The police need to have the backing of the Commonwealth’s administration to perform their duties confidently and a Shapiro administration would allow the violent crimes to continue. A Mastriano administration would back our law enforcement and return law and order to our communities. Shapiro has proven he is inept as our top law enforcement official and has instead spent his time suing nuns for exercising their first amendment rights.

Lawrence County needs to be represented at the state and federal level by people who are genuinely concerned about our needs and those of our families, not some radical agenda that the Democrats employ from the top down. We the people, in order to retain our rights, truly need to understand the importance of this election and get out to vote for Dr. Mehmet OzDoug MastrianoMike KellyMichele BrooksAaron Bernstine and Marla Brown.

Media Research Center Report: Google Manipulated Searches in Senate Races

By: Allum Bokhari:

A report from the Media Research Center, strongly denied by Google, suggests the tech giant is manipulating search terms related to races for the U.S. Senate to favor Democrats.

Google is under intense scrutiny this election cycle after a study from North Carolina State University found that Gmail sent roughly 59 percent more Republican campaign emails to users’ spam folders than Democrats during the 2020 election. The Republican National Committee alleges that this imbalance is ongoing, and intentional on Google’s part.

Now, a Media Research Center (MRC) study claims Google is favoring Democrats in search results related to Senate races, but not House races.

Via the MRC:
In the Senate study MRC Free Speech America conducted, Google buried 10 of 12 Senate Republican Party candidates’ campaign websites while highlighting their opponents campaign sites in organic search results. But when doing the same search, Bing and DuckDuckGo showed both the Senate Democratic Party candidates’ campaign websites and the Senate Republican Party candidates’ campaign websites in the top five organic search results on page one.

Meanwhile, MRC Free Speech America found that Google placed Republican campaign websites higher in search results than Democrat campaign websites by a 21-11 margin in House races, while giving four races equal treatment.

[ … ]

MRC Free Speech America applied the exact same methodology from its Senate study to analyze 36 top House races, where polling shows the House does not hang in the balance.

Google strongly disputed the findings of the study, telling Fox News Digital that “This report is designed to mislead, testing uncommon search terms that people rarely use. Anyone who searches for these candidate names on Google can clearly see that their campaign websites rank at the top of results – in fact, all of these candidates currently rank in the top three and often in the first spot in Google Search results.”

Watch For These 5 Red Flags In Pennsylvania’s Elections This Year

With the 2022 midterms fast approaching, Democrats in states like Pennsylvania are trying the same tactics they used to steal 2020.

Watch For These 5 Red Flags In Pennsylvania’s Elections This Year

By: Victoria Marshall, The Federalist, October 28, 2022

As the 2022 midterm elections approach, all eyes are on Pennsylvania.

Ever since former President Donald Trump carried the key battleground state in 2016 (the first Republican presidential nominee to do so in almost three decades), Pennsylvania has represented the nation’s “center of political gravity,” boasting crucial midterm contests that are key to either party’s control of the Senate. As Republicans gain in the polls (thanks in part to skyrocketing inflation and the country’s disastrous economic prospects), sinister games are at play behind the scenes.

This is nothing new to the Keystone State. Corruption-riddled Philadelphia has long been ground zero for Democrats’ election-rigging schemes. During the 2020 presidential election, Philadelphia County received the most funding from the Mark Zuckerberg-funded Center for Tech and Civic Life (a leftist nonprofit that funneled millions of dollars to blue counties in swing states to fund get-out-the-vote efforts for then-candidate Joe Biden).

But “Zuckbucks” were only part of Democrats’ cleverly-orchestrated plan to swing the 2020 election in Biden’s favor. Democrat secretaries of state in key battlegrounds also made last-minute, illegal changes to their state’s election laws, subverting the authority of their Republican-led legislatures. Pennsylvania’s then-Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar is no exception.

With the 2022 midterms fast approaching (and Pennsylvania a crucial decider of which party will wield power in the 118th Congress), Democrats are trying the same tactics they used in 2020.

1. Delayed Election Results

Acting Secretary of State Leigh Chapman is already warning voters to not expect results on election night, as it might take “days” to finalize as officials cannot begin processing mail-in ballots until Election Day. Already more than 1 million Pennsylvania voters have applied to vote by mail, with the majority of requests coming from Democrats.

Delayed election results seem to be the new normal in Pennsylvania. During the commonwealth’s contentious May primary, it took weeks for the results to be finalized (and for celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz’s win over former hedge fund CEO Dave McCormick to be sure). In the 2020 presidential election, it also took several days for the state to be called in Biden’s favor.

As Federalist Staff Writer Shawn Fleetwood notes, delayed election results are one warning sign of incompetent election administration and raise voters’ suspicions over the validity of an election. This is why many first-world European countries determine their election results within 24 hours of citizens casting their ballots.

2. Counting Undated Ballots

Chapman’s warning of delayed election results comes after she told counties to ignore a Supreme Court ruling that held undated mail-in ballots cannot be counted. The Republican National Committee and the Pennsylvania GOP have since filed a lawsuit against Chapman’s directive. Such a charge will only result in myriad inconsistencies and irregularities in how Pennsylvania’s 67 counties will process ballots, leading to further delays.

3. 240,000 Unverified Ballots

Almost a quarter of a million unverified ballots were sent to Pennsylvania voters this election cycle, a letter by 15 state lawmakers alleges. The mail-in ballots, the letter adds, were sent to voters without verification of their identity (social security number or government-issued ID) in the ballot application process. The GOP lawmakers are blaming Secretary Chapman’s office for issuing guidance in 2018 that instructed “counties to register voters without verification of identity” and are asking her office to “immediately issue a directive to all counties informing them of the requirement to set those ballots aside and not pre-canvass, canvass, or count any of them unless and until the applicant provides a valid form of identification.” As of October 28, Chapman has not responded to the letter.

4. Duplicate Voting

Philadelphia election officials are set to remove a key safeguard for catching duplicate votes as Election Day approaches. The procedure is known as poll book reconciliation, whereby election officials compare mail-in ballots with poll book records from Election Day. If a person is listed as voting in person on Election Day via the poll book, but the city also receives a mail-in ballot for that voter, the city will not count the mail-in ballot so as to protect against double-voting.

But now the Philadelphia City Commission is threatening to stop the practice because officials claim it will jeopardize their access to state funds. Newly-enacted Act 88, passed by the Republican-majority legislature, prohibits the vote count (after starting at 7 a.m. on Election Day) from stopping until all ballots are tabulated. Philadelphia election officials argue that because poll book reconciliation requires pausing the vote count, they’re at risk of violating Act 88 and will subsequently lose state funding. Such a narrow interpretation of Act 88 is a weak excuse for lessening election security measures. As such, government watchdog Restoring Integrity and Trust in Elections (RITE) has filed a lawsuit against the Philadelphia City Commission.

Pennsylvania state Rep. Seth Grove has also written a letter to the Philadelphia County Board of Elections demanding answers to the county’s failure to comply with Act 88. According to Grove, under current law, a voter who’s requested a mail-in ballot should not be permitted to vote on Election Day. By allowing such voters to vote in person on Election Day, administrators are “relying on an unlawful post-election process to check mail-in ballots returned after poll books are printed” and “knowingly permitting perhaps thousands of voters to cast regular rather than provisional ballots, in violation of the law.”

Philadelphia’s poll book reconciliation process, then, would not be necessary if election administrators were actually following Pennsylvania law.

5. Poll Watcher Instructions Violate Pennsylvania Law

The Pennsylvania Democratic Party‘s “Poll Observer Manual” directly conflicts with Pennsylvania state law in its instructions to poll watchers. For example, the manual tells poll watchers to “Assist voters and election officials as necessary and appropriate to resolve smaller issues.” Additionally, the manual encourages poll watchers that their “diligence” ensures “that eligible voters vote and that their votes are counted,” before enjoining them to “make sure to monitor constantly whether voters have questions with which you can assist.”

But guidance from the Pennsylvania Department of State website states that “Poll watchers are not permitted to approach voters in the polling place.” The guidance specifically warns that talking to voters is an example of voter intimidation: “Examples of voter intimidation include, but are not limited to … Confronting, hovering, or directly speaking to or questioning voters.”

The Pennsylvania Democratic Party did not respond to The Federalist’s request for comment.

What Can Be Done?

As Pennsylvania will be a crucial decider for which party will take power in 2023, expect Democrat attempts to subvert free and fair elections in Pennsylvania to only increase as Nov. 8 approaches. The incidents outlined above are only a handful of the myriad election integrity issues the Keystone State faces. But instead of being intimidated by such challenges, concerned Pennsylvania citizens must remain vigilant so as to keep their elected officials accountable and ensure the 2022 midterms are conducted securely.

Election Software Firm Used by LA County – and by Counties in Swing States – Gave ‘Superadministrator’ Privileges to Contractors in CHINA

CHYNA! Between COVID and the stolen election, the Communist Chinese party has brought down this nation without firing a shot. thanks to their American proxies — the fifth column Communist Democrat party.

Flashback: When America was …… America: The Fifth Column Menaces America on a Thousand Fronts

Election Software Firm Used by LA County – and by Counties in Swing States – Gave ‘Superadministrator’ Privileges to Contractors in China

By Jennifer Van Laar | Red State | October 14, 2022:

As we reported on October 4, Eugene Yu, a Chinese immigrant and CEO of Konnech, an election software company, was arrested “as part of an investigation into the possible theft of personal identifying information of [Los Angeles County election] workers,” which officials believed “was stored on servers in the People’s Republic of China.”

The other shocking part of the story was that LA County District Attorney George Gascon, who’s not known as being tough on crime, announced the arrest and extradition and that investigators from his office had been working on the case.

One of Konnech’s software offerings is a program called PollChief, which schedules election workers and assists elections officials with supply and logistics procedures. In 2019 LA County entered into a contract with Konnech, and a sole-source contract worth more than $2 million was finalized in 2020. As part of the contract, Konnech was to abide by state and federal law, and to various information security procedures, which an LA County District Attorney’s office investigator described in a complaint supporting the request for a warrant for Yu’s arrest:

  • “[C]ontractor shall screen and conduct background checks on all Contractor personnel contacting County’s Confidential Information, including Personally Identifiable Information, for potential security risks and require all employees and contractors to sign an appropriate written confidentiality non-disclosure agreement.
  • Personally Identifiable Information, and County’s Confidential Information: (i) may only be made available and accessible to those parties explicitly authorized under the Contract or otherwise expressly approved by County in writing.
  • Only Contractor’s staff who are based in the United States and are citizens or lawful permanent residents of the United States shall have access to any County data, including personally identifiable information, hosted in County’s instance of the System Software.

This complaint, which is dated October 13, 2022, contains additional information about what investigators have found – information that does not lead to any type of confidence in the security of our election information.

Despite Eugene Yu’s insistence in a verified court pleading that “all of Konnech’s U.S. customer data is secured and stored exclusively on protected computers located within the United States,” the Los Angeles County DA’s office found that:

“On or about October 10, 2019, through October 4, 2022, Eugene Yu and other employees at Konnech, Inc. were providing these services to Los Angeles County using third-party contractors based in China.

“…Konnech employees known and unknown sent personal identifying information of Los Angeles County election workers to third-party software developers who assisted with creating and fixing Konnech’s internal ‘PollChief’ software.”

So, the personal identifying information of US election workers was intentionally sent not just out of the country, but to China. And to third-party contractors, which is potentially in complete violation of the state’s anti-independent contracting AB5 law.

And, just as many have suspected, Chinese “contractors” (code for CCP operatives; don’t kid yourself) have had full access to not just the personal identifying information of Los Angeles County election workers (emphasis mine):

“On or about August 18, 2022, Luis Nabergoi, project manager for Konnech’s contract with the County of Los Angeles, confirmed via the messaging app DingTalk that any employee for Chinese contractors working on PollChief software had ‘superadministration’ privileges for all PollChief clients. Mr. Nabergoi described the situation as a ‘huge security issue.’”

It’s more than just a “huge security issue.” Even if nothing nefarious has been done with that access, a possibility which requires the suspension of disbelief, this revelation validates every concern that has been expressed in the security of our elections since, well, long before 2020. But we know it was happening through August, 2022, at a minimum. And while the City of Minneapolis initially defended its contract with Konnech, saying there was no information that the personal identifying information of their poll workers was compromised, officials might want to revisit that statement in light of the above.

In addition, one function PollChief software provides is management of “election workers and voting
locations (including Vote Centers, drop boxes and check-in centers),” meaning that election officials can use the software to assign employees to retrieve ballots from drop boxes and deliver them to the elections office, and uses GPS and location data from the app on the employee’s phone to determine which employee is located closest to the drop box and continues to track their location for chain-of-custody purposes. However, as some have pointed out, it’s certainly possible that this app could be repurposed for ballot harvesting and delivery purposes.

President Donald J. Trump’s ‘Our nation is SUFFERING’ letter to the J6 Committee

UPDATE:

President Donald J. Trump released a letter, below, to the members of the J6 Committee. Before reading his letter it is important to understand exactly what President Trump said on January 6th to those who peacefully came to the Save America rally in Washington, D.C. Watch:

We also must remember that President Trump requested that the National Guard be called out before the January 6 rally in Washington, D.C. and Nancy Pelosi denied his request. Watch.

STATEMENT BY PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

“PEACEFULLY AND PATRIOTICALLY”

The Honorable Bennie G. Thompson
Chairperson
The Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol
Longworth House Office Building
Washington, D.C. 20515

Dear Chairman Thompson,

THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OF 2020 WAS RIGGED AND STOLEN!

Our nation is SUFFERING. Our economy is in the gutter. Inflation is rampant. Gas prices have reached an all-time high. Ships are unable to unload cargo. Families cannot get needed baby formula. We are an embarrassment around the world. Our withdrawal from Afghanistan was a disaster that cost us precious American blood, and gave $85 billion worth of the best military equipment on earth to our enemy.

Millions and millions of illegals are marching to the border and invading our country. We have a White House in shambles, with Democrats, just this week, declaring that Biden is unfit to run for reelection. And what is the Democrat Congress focused on? A Kangaroo Court, hoping to distract the American people from the great pain they are experiencing.

Seventeen months after the events of January 6th, Democrats are unable to offer solutions. They are desperate to change the narrative of a failing nation, without even making mention of the havoc and death caused by the Radical Left just months earlier. Make no mistake, they control the government. They own this disaster. They are hoping that these hearings will somehow alter their failing prospects.

A certain Democrat once said, “It’s the economy, stupid.” Well, Democrats now seem to think that Americans are “stupid.” They are not. America is crumbling, and Democrats have no solutions. Our nation has no hope of change for the better under Democrat leadership. People are desperate. Rather than solving problems, Democrats are rehashing history in hopes of changing the narrative. During my time in office, our nation was thriving, our economy was strong, and the price of gas was very low. Above all else, we were respected, perhaps like never before.

America prospered under the Trump Administration.

The Sham Investigation

The January 6th Unselect Committee is disgracing everything we hold sacred about our Constitution. If they had any real evidence, they’d hold real hearings with equal representation.

They don’t, so they use the illegally-constituted committee to put on a smoke and mirrors show for the American people, in a pitiful last-ditch effort to deceive the American public…again.

Our Constitution protects the right to confront accusers, honors the right to fair trials, and holds the right to legal representation as paramount in our justice system. Equal representation and the opportunity to offer rebuttal evidence is fundamental in our legal process. The Committee has obliterated those rights and is making a mockery of justice. They have refused to allow their political opponents to participate in this process, and have excluded all exculpatory witnesses, and anyone who so easily points out the flaws in their story.

MAGA witnesses were interrogated behind closed doors and ordered to not record their own testimony. Members of my staff, my friends, supporters, volunteers, donors, were subjected to hours upon hours of inquisition – oftentimes having nothing to do with January 6th. Their very lives were turned upside down for obvious reasons. They were told it was an ongoing investigation and any reproduction of the interrogation would be viewed as an attempt to interfere in the investigation. They were gagged, threatened, and in some cases ruined.

Yet, the Unselect Pseudo-Committee has coordinated with their media puppets to broadcast their witnesses on national television without any opposition, cross-examination, or rebuttal evidence. The American public has a right to know the truth and see every witness, but these corrupt officials are trying to force-feed the public with their politically opportune sideshow.

What are the members of this treasonous “Committee” afraid of? Why can’t they let the countervailing opinion be heard? Why are they hiding evidence from the public and only showing information that favors the Democrats’ tall tale? They’re afraid of losing the narrative, because their political opponents could easily show how the committee is lying to the nation and has stripped Americans of their rightful power.

Democrats created the narrative of January 6th to detract from the much larger and more important truth that the 2020 Election was Rigged and Stolen. Politicians from both parties, but mostly the Democrats, worked in conjunction with corporate elitists to strip Americans of our right to elect our own leaders. To do so, corrupt officials violated their own state laws.

The separation of powers is designed to make sure that no officials become dictators by granting the authority to make laws with the legislature and execute laws with the executive
branch. No one office should have complete power. It must be separated among different offices.

In 2020, separation of powers went out the window. The state executive branch, in both red and blue states, decided to completely ignore state laws, make up their own rules, and execute them.

In other words, they became the little dictators our Constitution was designed to prevent.

They illegally inflated voter rolls, illegally allowed harvested and stuffed ballots, abused the use of mail-in ballots, physically removed Republicans from counting facilities, abused the elderly in nursing homes, bribed election officials with donations, stopped counting on Election Night, gave Democrats three extra days to harvest ballots, and demanded that the American people believe it was legitimate.

This entire charade of the Unselect Committee is a brazen attempt to detract the public’s attention from the truth. The truth is that Americans showed up in Washington, D.C. in massive numbers (but seldom revealed by the press), on January 6th, 2021, to hold their elected officials accountable for the obvious signs of criminal activity throughout the Election. Those who are supposed to be public servants are using the power of government against the people who entrusted them with the power. We’ve been betrayed.

Since the Unselect Committee refuses to allow their political opponents to participate in the hearings, the public likely won’t hear from the many patriots who contradict the lies being broadcast – at least not in these hearings. This is all a ridiculous and treasonous attempt to cover up the fact that Democrats rigged the Election and are siphoning Americans’ freedoms and power for their own benefit.

Without the ability to have political, legal, or witness representation from conservatives in this Kangaroo Court, it’s up to American patriots to arm themselves with the information.

This hearing isn’t about January 6th, it’s about November 3rd, and here’s what happened.

Stop the Count

On Election Night, America watched as my lead grew and grew over Joe Biden, as I was set to claim another victory. By the morning of November 4th, the day after the Election, I led by 700,000 votes in Pennsylvania,1 300,000 in Michigan,2 and hundreds of thousands in Georgia, Arizona, and Wisconsin.3 Then, the same “little dictators” who destroyed the separation of powers made the treasonous decision to stop counting.4 These same states, who had counted millions of ballots in a single day, had to stop counting in order to count a few hundred thousand ballots over the next four days to call the race on November 7th.

Why would it take four more days to count a few hundred thousand votes when they had counted millions in one day? They needed time to traffic the ballots and manipulate the outcome of the Election. The Swamp was so determined to keep their stranglehold on power that they delayed the results of the Election so that they could find, manufacture, or produce more ballots, after they knew how many they needed to beat me. They cheated! There’s no reasonable explanation for why it took so much longer to count the few remaining ballots as opposed to the millions on Election Day – other than they needed to traffic more ballots, and it took four days to produce the ballots and do it. They couldn’t have done it without an elaborate ballot trafficking scheme.

Ballot Trafficking

Highly respected True the Vote’s Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips showed the nation exactly what the Democrats’ illegal ballot trafficking scheme looks like. They spent years investigating election crimes, and their hard work provided America with the indisputable proof so many had been waiting for. True the Vote cooperated with Dinesh D’Souza to produce the blockbuster documentary 2000 Mules, which provides video evidence of the ballot trafficking scheme Democrats have created.

Engelbrecht and Phillips used geo-fencing data that they purchased to isolate and identify potential mules. Like drug mules, in this context, mules are those paid to illegally traffic ballots from nonprofits organizations and drop them into the ballot drop boxes. The search criteria they used was to isolate cell phone data that had been to 10 or more ballot drop boxes, while also visiting at least five identified nonprofit organizations during a two-week period.6

There’s no legitimate reason for any individual to visit 10 or more ballot drop boxes.

Why would anyone need to vote 10 times? Couple that with the idea that the same individuals are also visiting the offices of liberal nonprofits in the same time period.

At least one whistleblower at one of the nonprofits in Yuma came forward and confirmed that these organizations act as trafficking hubs for the mules to pick up the ballots to drop off at the drop boxes.7 One woman in Arizona has already plead guilty to a Class 6 felony for participating in this ballot trafficking scheme.8 And Democrats are getting tax write-offs for this behavior!

True the Vote and local law enforcement have the video surveillance showing the mules dropping many ballots into the drop box, which confirms the geo-fencing data that Engelbrecht and Phillips had gathered. This is the same surveillance evidence that the FBI has used to identify January 6th protestors.9

In fact, the FBI has used this same type of evidence in 45 of the criminal cases against January 6th protestors.10

Yet, the dishonest media puts experts front and center to tell America that True the Votes’ evidence is unreliable.11

It’s the exact same evidence the FBI used against January 6th protestors! How can the evidence be an indispensable tool to identify January 6th protestors, but when applied to ballot traffickers, the science is unreliable and not precise? The hypocrisy is stifling! The Swamp has blown the bottom out of how low they’ll go to deceive the American public in order to keep their vice-grip on power. Thankfully, Americans are taking responsibility for what they believe, and simply no longer believe the narrative.

The truth is, according to Joe Biden, that the Swamp has created the “most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics,”12 and it centers around ballot trafficking.

The Math

The illegal ballot harvesting operation is an insult to the democratic process, but the kicker is the media feeding us the bogus line that this was the most secure election in U.S. history. What a load of bologna! The data shows us how compromised the system was. The math shows us that it changed the outcome of the Election.

Looking at just the known traffickers Engelbrecht and Phillips identified, the 2000 mules, we know they averaged 38 drop box visits averaging five ballots per box.13 That totals 380,000 illegal ballots inserted into the Election via the drop boxes. We also know they targeted specific counties in order to impact the outcome of the Election. Many of those counties were separated by only a few thousand votes.

Based on the data, Georgia had 250 mules average 24 drop boxes with five ballots each, totaling 30,000 illegal ballots.14 The margin of victory in Georgia was only 11,779, meaning that ballot trafficking alone would have changed the outcome of the state. There was a lot of other suspicious activity in Georgia, but the trafficking, by itself, was sufficient to change the outcome.

Georgia’s 16 electors should not have gone to Biden.

A similar story occurred in Arizona. Two hundred identified mules averaged 20 drop boxes and five ballots each.15 That’s a minimum of 20,000 illegal ballots. The margin of victory in Arizona alone was 10,457, meaning that ballot trafficking alone was enough to flip the state.

Arizona’s 11 electoral votes should not have gone to Biden.

True the Vote identified 1,100 mules in Philadelphia alone, each averaging 50 drop boxes and five ballots per box. That’s 275,000 illegal votes. The margin of victory in Pennsylvania was only 80,555, meaning the ballot trafficking scheme in Philadelphia alone was enough to flip the entire Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The Commonwealth’s 20 electoral votes should not have gone to Biden.

Those three states show that the illegal ballot trafficking scheme alone sufficed to change the outcome of the Election. But what about the other states?

Michigan had 500 mules identified, averaging 50 drop box visits, and five ballots per visit for a total ballot harvest of 125,000 ballots.16

Biden’s margin of victory in Michigan was 154,188. That means the ballot harvesting scheme, at a minimum, narrowed the results so that operatives at the polls only needed to manufacture a little over 29,000 votes statewide. We all saw as citizens in Detroit protested outside the TCF center,17 because Republicans were excluded from the process in one of the most corrupt areas in the country.18 What were they doing inside?

Did they discard Republican ballots? Did they print new Biden ballots? No one has been allowed to investigate in Michigan.

Engelbrecht and Phillips identified 100 mules in Wisconsin that averaged 28 drop boxes and five ballots per box.19 That’s 14,000 illegal votes. The margin of victory was 20,682. That leaves only 6,000 votes for Democrat operatives to make up by either adding Biden votes or discarding Trump votes. We know that Democrats abused the elderly in nursing homes that easily could have generated more than 6,000 illegal votes,20 likely more. They had to cheat in multiple ways to steal Wisconsin, but the evidence of foul play surpasses the margin of victory in Wisconsin by thousands of votes.

With just Georgia, Arizona, and Pennsylvania, and there were others, the Electoral College vote would have been Trump 279 to Biden 259. But they cheated. And now look where we are as a country!

But What If There Were More

What if True the Vote’s criteria to identify the mules was too conservative? Rather than using the requirement to identify someone who went to 10 drop boxes with five or more visits to the liberal nonprofits, what if they looked for people who went to five drop boxes? It’s highly unlikely that anyone would need to go to five drop boxes while also visiting nonprofits in the same time span. The data is astonishing! Rather than 2000 mules, the number jumps to 54,000 mules!21

And how about if they widened the search even more? The numbers become astronomical, and the results would be a landslide victory for Trump. It is all on live tape produced by the government.

Continuing the conservative estimate of just three ballots per mule with 54,000 mules, the numbers spike tremendously. In Wisconsin, 83,565 illegal votes were trafficked, more than four times the margin of victory.22 In Georgia, 92,670 illegal votes were trafficked, more than eight times the margin of victory.23 In Pennsylvania, 209,505 votes were trafficked, more than double the margin of victory.24 In Michigan, 226,590 votes were trafficked, tens of thousands of votes over the margin of victory.25 In Arizona, 207,435 votes were trafficked, almost 20 times the margin of victory.26

Using this slightly less conservative calculation, coupled with the geotracking data, the same used by law enforcement, I decisively won all of the contested states. The final electoral count should have been Trump 305 to Biden 233.27.

It’s also highly likely that True the Vote did not uncover 100% of the mules, making the numbers much larger than a landslide in scope, and that there were many more mules out there affecting more of the Election than we realize. This was not a close Election.

Defying the Odds

There were 19 counties in the U.S. that voted for the winning Presidential candidate since 1980, they’re known as bellwether counties.28 I won 18 of the 19 bellwether counties.29 Eighteen of the 19 counties who consistently vote for the winning candidate voted for me, yet we’re supposed to believe that Joe Biden won the Election?

Joe Biden, a candidate who never left his basement and can’t speak without a teleprompter, outperformed Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in their two high-charged elections.30 Biden even outperformed Obama in black communities, but only in important swing states. Isn’t that amazing? It’s impossible.

Basement Biden earned more votes than Obama in Fulton County, Ga. (Atlanta) by 131,733 (53%), and Wayne County, Mich. (Detroit) by 1,917 (0.3%),31which are the two largest
black populations in the United States.32 Biden also earned more votes than Obama’s 2012 campaign in Cobb County, Ga. by 89,321 (52%),33 and Oakland County, Mich. by 85,093 (24.4%)34. Either there’s a lot of black voters in America who identify more with Joe Biden than Barack Obama, or Democrats are stealing black votes – and we all know the answer to that.

Apparently, Joe Biden is twice as popular in Arizona as Barack Obama, even among black and Hispanic voters. Sleepy Joe earned a total of 1,040,774 votes in Maricopa County, Ariz. (Phoenix). That’s 508,490 more votes than Obama earned in 2012 (532,284), nearly doubling Obama’s 2012 performance in the key swing state. Biden’s unbelievable success of outperforming Obama continues in Las Vegas35, Nev., Madison, Wisc.36, Green Bay, Wisc., 37 and a number of other cities across the country. It didn’t happen.

In Pennsylvania’s six largest counties, Biden supposedly outperformed Obama’s 2012 record setting numbers in Philadelphia by 46,766 (8.3%), in Allegheny County (Pittsburg) by
80,914 (23.2%), in Montgomery County 91,950 (40.4%), in Bucks County 45,114 (28.2%), in Delaware County 41,618 (25.2%), and in Lancaster County 28,739 (32.99%). The trend continues to many of Pennsylvania’s smaller counties.38 Across the Commonwealth, Biden earned 550,781 more votes than Barack Obama in 2012.39.

Zuckerbucks

Mark Zuckerberg contributed $419 million dollars to election initiatives around the country.40 Supposedly, the money was used to make elections safer as a result of the China Virus (COVID-19). However, the money was not primarily used for China Virus protection, although some did go for that purpose. For example, in Wisconsin, the money was conditioned upon the five largest counties adopting a Democrat only initiative of the Wisconsin Safe Voting Plan (WSVP).41

The five key counties, Milwaukee, Kenosha, Madison, Racine, and Green Bay, became known as the “Zuckerberg 5.”42

Zuckerberg funneled his money through the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL), a liberal nonprofit based in Illinois, which received the lion’s share of the money, at least $350 million.43 CTCL is a radical leftist organization filled with Obama Foundation fellows and Obama appointees.44

Almost all of the money went to Democrat-run and controlled areas. Very little, for cosmetic purposes only, went to Republican areas. They threw us a bone.

According to the Special Counsel report in Wisconsin:45 “[A]nother election purpose existed as evidenced by the documents obtained by the Special Counsel. That other election purpose was to fuse together the CTCL, their allied private corporations, the Zuckerberg 5, and $8.8 million of private funding into joint operations in that group of cities, where the focus would be on facilitating increased in-person and absentee voting, particularly in their “communities of color.” See, e.g., App. 7- 27 (WSVP). From the beginning, the purpose of the WSVP contract and its private funding was for the Zuckerberg 5 to use CTCL’s private money to facilitate greater in-person voting and greater absentee voting, particularly in targeted neighborhoods.”

Based on the Special Counsel’s report, liberal nonprofits funded by Zuckerberg – who was also trying to control the election narrative on his social media platforms – lied to the public about the real use of their money. Why would they need to lie if they weren’t doing anything wrong? Because they were doing something wrong and they knew it. They knew the money was conditioned upon their ability to control the election process. The Special Counsel further states in his findings:46

“Any Agreement Where a City’s Election Officials Receive CTCL or Other’s Private Money to Facilitate In-Person and Absentee Voting Within a City Facially Violates Wis. Stat. § 12.11’s Prohibition on Election Bribery Under Wis. Stat. § 12.11.

The CTCL agreement facially violates the election bribery prohibition of Wis. Stat. § 12.11 because the participating cities and public officials received private money to facilitate in-person or absentee voting within such a city. Any similar agreements in the 2022 and 2024 election cycle would also be prohibited election bribery.”

According to Wisconsin’s Special Counsel, the money was intended to impact in person and absentee voting, which would have a direct impact on the outcome of the Election.47 Also, according to Wisconsin’s Special Counsel – that’s bribery.

Zuckerberg should be criminally prosecuted. Election laws prevent individuals from donating more than $5,000 per year,48 yet Zuckerberg gave $419 million.

And it’s not just Wisconsin. CTCL provided funds, according to their form 990 they filed with the IRS, to 47 of the 50 states, plus Washington, D.C.49

For example, before the 2020 Election, the group gave $45 million to Georgia, $38.6 million to Texas, $25 million to Pennsylvania, $25 million to New York, $7.5 million to Ohio, $21 million to New Jersey, $16.8 million to Michigan, $21 million to California, and $5 million to Arizona, among others.50 Did all the grants to the states have strings attached? Or was it just Wisconsin?

How unfair and illegal is this? How do you win an election against this? But we did, getting almost 75 million votes, the most in history for a sitting President.

Pandemic of Injustice

Beginning the night of November 3rd, Americans knew there was something wrong going on. Almost immediately, citizens around the country started filing lawsuits seeking information and clarification about the Election.

The year leading up to the Election had been a year of violent liberal assaults on cities around the country. Democrats made it known that they would rather burn cities to the ground than allow for a civilized political process. They knew their policies were failing, citizens weren’t buying their hype, and they were losing their influence. So, they spent the year creating an atmosphere of fear, and that’s the environment in which concerned citizens were forced to file their lawsuits.

Judges, including Justices of the United States Supreme Court, were scared. Some were political hacks who refused to be the sole arbiter of such a strong political issue. It was liberal fearmongering. Rumors circulated that the Justices devolved to shouting and argued intensely over how to handle the Texas v. Pennsylvania case.51 Ultimately, the Justices yielded to the same fear mongering tactics Democrats had deployed for years. They punted and threw the case out on standing. Following their lead, every lower court threw the cases out on standing, and usually without barely even looking at them.

Some of the cases had well established grounds for standing, and one had even been in open litigation for 10 months before the court reversed itself and threw it out. Specifically, that happened in Georgia, where a court had ruled that the plaintiffs were entitled to review the original ballot images after granting them access to the files. Then, defendants stalled for months. Ten months after the initial filing, the court decided the plaintiffs no longer had standing.52 What?!

On November 4th, 2020, Antrim County, Michigan announced that 16,047 votes had been cast and Joe Biden received 7,769 and I received 4,509.53 In 2016, I had received 62% of the vote in Antrim, making the 2020 results particularly surprising. Mr. Bailey, an Antrim County voter, made some phone calls and the Antrim County clerk double checked the results, and issued new results.

A closer look showed 18,059 votes cast in Antrim County.54 Joe Biden received 7,289 votes, and I received 9,783, meaning I won 54% of the vote, which still seemed odd compared with the 2016 results. This also doesn’t account for the difference in the number of votes cast.

Why were they short, and where did the new votes come from?

Antrim County checked a third time and found 16,044 votes cast and that Joe Biden received 5,960, while I received 9,748, winning 60.75%.55 Jocelyn Benson, the Michigan
Secretary of State asserted the error was simply a clerical error, because the clerk failed to update the Mancelona Township tabulator prior to Election Night for a down ballot race, and that the correct count was always on the tabulator tape. She insisted that the Antrim County Clerk simply made a mistake, and this was not a cause to look closer at every county in Michigan. Benson shut the discussion down, but Bailey continued to fight in court.56

Matt DePerno, Bailey’s lawyer, aggressively pursued discovery in the case and successfully won a motion to audit the election machines in Antrim County. On April 9th, 2021,
DePerno released an exhibit in the Bailey case, with additional findings from the experts examining the evidence, which found that, despite critics saying otherwise, the voting machines were connected to the internet, and the officials knew they were connected.57 The exhibit produced email communications from Election Night discussing the terrible internet connection.58 This also highlights the weird disinformation campaign waged immediately following the Election to dispel the belief that machines were connected to the internet, despite the fact that it was true.59

Voting machines send the tallies, via the internet, to allow the totals to be counted faster. Connecting them to the internet does create some vulnerabilities, but does not mean any
malicious activity actually took place. So why all the drama? Why all the hype from election officials across the country trying to convince the public the machines were not connected to the internet when they knew that they were? Why not just say that the machines were connected to the internet, but no security breaches occurred…if that was in fact true? Was it true?

DePerno continued to release exhibit after exhibit detailing technical specifics of anomalies and irregularities raising questions from the 2020 Election.60 The corrupt media continued to ignore and bury the story, and hurled insults at DePerno and his case. The court eventually dismissed the case, but not based on any of the evidence DePerno had amassed. It dismissed the case on procedural grounds: the plaintiff was asking for an audit of the Election, and the Democrat Secretary of State told the court she had already conducted an audit.

Therefore, the court ruled, the case was moot.61 No evidence presented, no witnesses to testify. Just, case dismissed. As usual, saved by the court.

Cases around the country received the same treatment. Courts didn’t want to be the sole arbiter of such a massive political issue, but they also shouldn’t be afraid to do their job. State legislators, members of Congress, senators, governors, secretaries of state, and many other state and federal officials should do their jobs and protect their citizens’ right to vote. But, the Swamp runs deep. I guess that turning around an election was a step too far.

As we near the midterm elections, we’re watching the Swamp creatures circle the drain as true Americans step up to replace the corrupt Establishment with patriots who will fight for our freedoms.

The Establishment is holding on as tightly as they can to their power as they watch it slip from their grasp. Our country is in a nosedive. Americans are struggling to fill their gas tanks, feed their babies, educate their children, hire employees, order supplies, protect our border from invasion, and a host of other tragedies that are 100% caused by Democrats who obtained power through a rigged election, and the people of our country are both angry and sad.

Americans have very real pressing concerns about the basic necessities of life.

What is Congress doing about it? They’re doing everything they can to ignore and distract from the very real pain that they have caused this country. They want to talk about anything but the 2020 Election results and the fact that they are the cause of our country’s problems.

Nobody brings this up, but as President, I suffered years of vicious lies, scandals, and innuendo concerning a fake and contrived narrative of Russia, Russia, Russia. The entire Russia Hoax was a concoction made up by Hillary Clinton and the Democrat Party.

It was used as an excuse for her loss, but endured throughout my entire Administration.

It was a fake and fraudulent narrative, and now they’re trying to do it again.

Many other forms of cheating surfaced during 2020. Republican challengers were excluded from the process, bullied, and berated. Corrupt officials moved to centralize the vote count away from precincts, making it easier to cheat. Some areas are reported to have had more votes than voters! That raises some questions. These are only a few of
the many forms of cheating that took place in, what I call, the Crime of the Century, and its cover up by the American media.

This is merely an attempt to stop a man that is leading in every poll, against both Republicans and Democrats by wide margins, from running again for the Presidency.

The reason I am leading in the polls is because Democrats have caused record inflation, sky high gas prices, energy dependence on our adversaries, the education system is in crisis, illegal aliens are invading our border, the supply chain has crippled our way of life, parents can’t get baby formula, mandates have crippled businesses, and our way of life
has been crushed by government regulations. The United States is being destroyed.

The Democrats know that I would correct all of this, and they are doing everything in their power to stop me – but we can’t be stopped.

We have to Save America.

Courts Side With Red States on Election Law Changes Post-2020

Democrat election fraud is systemic. Dismantling their fraud machine is a Sisyphean task.

Courts mostly siding with red states on election law changes post-2020

By Alex Swoyer and Stephen Dinan, – The Washington Times – Monday, October 3, 2022

The outrage was swift and severe when Georgia lawmakers announced legislation to prevent voters waiting in line from being provided food or drinks.

The state said it was making sure voters couldn’t be pressured, swayed or even bribed.

Critics said the law would keep voters waiting in the hot sun from being handed bottles of water. They warned that Black voters would refuse to show up and defended “line warming” activities as a critical First Amendment issue.
Chess in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons as cheating controversy smolders

So far, Georgia is winning the legal fight. A federal judge allowed the ban on contact with voters in line to remain in effect this year.

Across the Sun Belt, attempts to reset voting practices after the pandemic-infused 2020 elections have met with howls of protest from Democrats and minority voting advocates. Federal courts have generally found the states to be on solid footing.

“Things are not going well for the challengers,” said J. Christian Adams, who worked on voting rights at the Justice Department and is now president of the Public Interest Legal Foundation.

Most of the rulings are preliminary. Major decisions will likely establish the legal playing field for voting changes before 2024.

For now, election laws survive. Texas bars drive-through voting, limits ballot drop boxes and imposes an ID requirement for voting by mail. Florida has imposed new rules on drop boxes and mail-in balloting.

A federal judge halted Florida’s law after determining that it was intended to cut into Black voting, but an appeals court put that ruling on hold. The law is intact for November.

The Justice Department has challenged new laws in Texas and Georgia, and both have survived scrutiny so far.

Caren Short, director of legal and research for the League of Women Voters of the United States, said the challenges will continue.

“Some advocates were able to get relief ahead of the 2022 election, but in many cases, appellate courts paused the relief pending appeal, so these anti-voter laws will be in effect in many places for the November election,” Ms. Short said.

One challenge succeeded in Arizona. Lawmakers enacted a measure that would have made it a criminal offense to register a voter already registered in another state. A judge last month halted that measure, saying it could make felons out of election volunteers.

The moves in Georgia and Arizona drew attention because both states voted for Joseph R. Biden in the 2020 presidential election, breaking decades-long Republican winning streaks.

Both states were able to adopt tighter election laws because their legislatures and governors’ offices were under Republican control.

Democratic-dominated states such as Connecticut, New York and Oregon have loosened election rules this year.

It’s all part of the jockeying for advantage. Democrats believe a more open voting process is better for their political fortunes, and Republican leaders believe a more constrained voting pool gives them an advantage. Political scientists question both beliefs.

Mr. Adams said Republican-led states have made headway on one issue that hasn’t drawn as much attention as drop boxes and voting lines but may be more crucial to election outcomes.

That’s the so-called Zuckbucks, or more than $300 million that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife made available to local election officials through their Center for Tech and Civic Life. The funds were supposed to help officials ensure high voter turnout despite the pandemic.

Mr. Adams said the money was spent disproportionately on methods that generally work on Democratic-leaning voters, such as get-out-the-vote advertising on urban radio stations.

Rep. Claudia Tenney, New York Republican, calculated that Democratic counties in Georgia got more than $42.1 million in Zuckbucks while Republican counties got just $3.5 million. In Florida, the breakdown was skewed toward Democratic counties, $14.8 million to $1.2 million. Pennsylvania’s Democratic-to-Republican ratio was $20.8 million to $1.7 million.

Armed with such data, Republican-led states moved to crack down on that sort of money.

The Capital Research Center, which has been monitoring Mr. Zuckerberg’s spending, says 24 states have moved to restrict or ban these types of private money donations.
