Bernie’s Immigration Plan Goes Full Bore Open Borders

I know most of you reading this don’t care a bit about Bernie and his huge move to the Far Left on the issue of immigration, but since I have a category here at ‘Frauds and Crooks’ for “politicians as frauds” I want to tell you about Democrat candidate for Prez, Bernie Sanders.

This also gives me an opportunity to warn you about the growing call for America to ‘welcome’ so-called “climate refugees” which I have written about extensively for ten years.  (See 53 posts going back to December 2008 on climate refugees at RRW by clicking here.)

It is very interesting to see how the Left plants seeds and nurtures them for years and years (helped by the mainstream media) until the idea surfaces, in this case, as a plank in a Presidential candidate’s platform.

Bernie is now throwing American workers under the bus….

Before I get to the news about Bernie’s plan, I guess we have to conclude that Bernie is now throwing American workers under the bus.  When he ran for President four years ago he was still getting some praise for his stance in defense of American workers and his earlier opposition to the failed 2007  comprehensive immigration reform bill.  See Time magazine story here in January 2016.

Here then is Fox News on Bernie’s immigration platform:

Sanders’ immigration plan: Halt deportations, abolish ICE, welcome 50K ‘climate migrants,’ give welfare to all

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., on Thursday released a sweeping immigration plan that would impose a moratorium on deportations, “break up” existing immigration enforcement agencies, grant full welfare access to illegal immigrants and welcome a minimum of 50,000 “climate migrants” in the first year of a Sanders administration.

The plan effectively establishes Sanders at the far left of the immigration debate,as he aims to energize a base that helped drive his 2016 primary campaign amid competition from other liberal candidates in the field this time around.

[….]

The plan was written in conjunction with several illegal immigrants who were shielded from deportation by former President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

In the plan, Sanders pledges to extend legal status to those eligible under the DACA program, as well as to grant relief for their parents.

He also promises to use executive authority to allow illegal immigrants who have lived in the country for five or more years to stay “free from threat of deportation.”

On day one of a Sanders presidency, he would also place a moratorium on deportations until there was a full audit of “current and past practices and policies.” He would also end the so-called Trump travel ban, as well as other Trump policies such as the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), action against sanctuary cities and the public charge rule that restricts green cards to those immigrants deemed likely to rely on welfare.

Sanders then wants to provide a “pathway to citizenship” via Congress for all illegal immigrants living in America — which he says is currently around 11 million — and would ensure that “old or low-level contacts with the criminal justice system” do not prevent illegal immigrants from walking along that path.

[….]

He would also create a new program to “welcome migrants displaced by climate change” and push to accept a minimum of 50,000 “climate migrants” in his first year in office.

More here.

Bernie is just following the tribe….

House Democrats introduce climate refugee bill

Here is a story from the day before the bill was introduced. Imagine the fraud this will create—yikes! the weather has changed where I live so I can now move to America!

At Grist (hat tip: Joanne):

House Democrats are set to introduce the first major piece of legislation to establish protections for migrants displaced by climate change, ramping up a push for a long-overdue framework for how the United States should respond to a crisis already unfolding on its shores.

The bill, called the Climate Displaced Persons Act,would create a federal program separate from the existing refugee program to take in a minimum of 50,000 climate migrants starting next year.

The legislation, a copy of which HuffPost obtained, directs the White House to collect data on people displaced by extreme weather, drought and sea level rise and submit an annual report to Congress. It also requires the State Department to work with other federal agencies to create a Global Climate Resilience Strategy that puts global warming at the center of U.S. foreign policy.

The bill, set to be introduced by Representative Nydia Velázquez, a New York Democrat, is a companion to legislation proposed by Massachusetts Democratic Senator Ed Markey, one of the leading advocates for a Green New Deal. Its introduction in the House of Representatives marks an escalation as Democrats start to flesh out what a sweeping federal plan to eliminate emissions and prepare the country for more climate catastrophe would look like.

The 21-page proposal looks unlikely to become law while Donald Trump, who rejects climate science and slashed the country’s refugee cap to a historic low of 18,000 last month, remains president.

Yup!

And that is why everyone reading this post needs to find some place to direct your energy to get Donald Trump reelected for four more years.

JUST CONFIRMED: 158 judges and counting ⚖✓

As of this afternoon, President Donald J. Trump has appointed—and gotten confirmed—158 life-tenured federal judges who will defend our Constitution, personal freedoms, and the rule of law. A few of the highlights:

  • President Trump’s nominees alone fill one-quarter of the seats on our nation’s Circuit Courts of Appeals.
  • His nominees fill two of the nine powerful seats on America’s Supreme Court.
  • He has seen more Circuit Court judges confirmed by this point in his presidency than any past president in United States history.

“Few legacies will be longer lasting than this judicial one,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) wrote today. “These new judges are principled constitutionalists who have demonstrated excellence and professionalism throughout their legal careers.”

President Trump: More than 150 federal judges—and counting!

Once elected, this President wasted no time fulfilling his pledge to nominate judges who put impartiality and independence above activism from the bench. On day one, the Trump Administration went to work with the Senate to fill crucial vacancies. Fast forward to now, and the result is nothing less than a historic transformation of the judiciary.

The American Founding was built on the idea of separation of powers, President Trump said today. “This system was designed to protect citizens against the unjust concentration of governmental power . . . [but] when judges assume the role of a legislature, the rights of all citizens are threatened.”

What that means today: “The impartial and objective judge, who is a faithful servant of the law, is essential to the survival of American liberty.”

In just three years, President Trump has nominated and had confirmed two Supreme Court justices, 44 Circuit Court judges, and 112 District Court judges. Today, that historic pace is only accelerating: The President is set to have more judges confirmed this year alone than in all of 2017 and 2018 combined.

The average age of these new circuit judges is less than 50 years old—a full 10 years younger than the average age of former President Obama’s circuit nominees. That fact is important. President Trump understands that appointing good, fair judges is one of the most important legacies a President can leave. And thanks to the extraordinary number of young, talented judges he’s selected, that legacy is likely to last for decades to come.

Even more important than how long judges serve, of course, is what they do once they get on the bench. President Trump has always nominated judges who have a proven track record of standing up for the rule of law as written, not as imagined.

This quote from President Trump’s speech today may be the most important:

When judges write policy instead of applying the law, they impose sweeping changes on millions of Americans without the benefit of legislative debate, public rulemaking, or the consent of the governed. As a result, these highly political rulings inflict painful damage on our security, society, and economy—imposing unworkable edicts on businesses, workers, families, and law enforcement.

His promise: “I will do everything in my power to halt judicial activism, and to ensure the law is upheld equally, fairly, and without political prejudice for all of our citizens.”

Ted Cruz: “Trump has achieved historic impact with THIS action.”

Watch and share: The left imposes with judges what it can’t at the ballot box.

Legends of the Fault in Kentucky

Heading into Tuesday night, not even the pundits knew what would happen in the Kentucky governor’s race. But there was one thing the president was sure of: if Governor Matt Bevin lost, “they’re going to say, ‘Trump suffered the greatest defeat in the history of the world. The greatest.'” He was right. This morning, the mainstream media was downright giddy at the chance to pin any of the blame on Trump for a race so close that even the AP didn’t call it. But how much of voters’ ire is really directed at the president? Based on the big picture in Kentucky, not much.

If you listen to the liberal talking heads (and based on the ratings, not many do), Bevin’s razor-thin loss is an “embarrassment,” “failure,” even a “bad omen” for Trump. But the real experts have a different take. “Reality check,” NBC and Cook Political Report analyst Dave Wasserman warns. “A <1% Dem win against an unpopular GOP governor is *not* a sign KY is competitive at the federal level in 2020.” Democrats are trying to make the president the anvil that sank Bevin, when in reality, pollsters say, the president probably is the one who helped make Bevin so competitive. Josh Kraushaar, the political editor at National Journal, cautioned “against extrapolating too much from the statewide results. Bevin was uniquely unpopular, even within his own party. Barely won majority in primary. Lowest approval of any governor in America. Rest of the GOP ticket doing fine in Kentucky.”

This is a candidate, the president pointed out, who made up a significant deficit to come within striking distance of being the first Republican governor to win reelection in Kentucky history. In a state where eight of the last 10 chief executives were Democrats, the governor’s mansion hasn’t exactly been a conservative stronghold. Still Trump tweeted, Republicans “won five out of six elections in Kentucky, including five great candidates that I spoke for and introduced last night. Matt Bevin picked up at least 15 points in last days, but perhaps not enough (Fake News will blame Trump!).” If the governor does concede, he will be the only Republican in Kentucky who lost Tuesday (thanks in large part to the libertarian syphoning off two-percent of the vote!). Every other statewide office went to the GOP, including a historic win for Daniel Cameron (R), the first African-American attorney general ever elected in the Bluegrass State. If that’s a referendum on Trump, it’s a good one.

Nationally, the Republicans picked up another attorney general seat in Mississippi — giving them two in Tuesday’s election. They also won the other statewide races, including governor and lieutenant governor. Purple Virginia did manage to flip the legislative majorities to the Democrats, which was on par with recent trends. And, as Wasserman points out, it wasn’t as bad as conservatives feared. “Republicans lost control of the VA Senate, but it could’ve been a lot worse: they managed to win all four of the closest races, by margins ranging from 0.9 to 4.4%.”

In deep-blue New Jersey, Republicans were thrilled by a small surge in the legislature, where the GOP gained seats in both chambers. So while the Left is proclaiming that even red states are turning liberal under Trump, that’s just not the case. As for Bevin, Inside Elections’ Leah Askarinam says people need to remember the uniqueness of our governors’ races. “[Those] candidates can campaign on issues that are state-specific like the state’s budget and education funding — and they can cross party lines without facing the same kind of political pressure as Senate candidates who have to work with a national legislature,” she pointed out.

Keep in mind that Republicans picked up about 1,000 seats in the states (including governors, attorneys general, etc.) during Barack Obama’s tenure. As FRC’s State and Local Director Quena Gonzalez explains, the losses in Virginia and for Bevin are significant, “especially given the aggressive, abortion-until-the-moment-of-birth stance of the Democratic Party — but the Left has a long way to go to cancel those conservative gains.”

VIDEO: Leaked ABC News Insider Recording EXPOSES #EpsteinCoverup “We had Clinton, We had Everything”

Project Veritas posted the above video and following commentary on the #EpsteinCoverup.

New York, NY: Today’s new video reveals how an ABC Good Morning America Breaking News Anchor, and 20/20 Co-Anchor had significant information regarding Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged crimes years ago but was told by her superiors that the network would not run the story.

Some of the key findings of today’s video:

• “I’ve Had This Story for Three Years… (ABC) Would Not Put It on The Air” says Good Morning America Breaking News Anchor, and 20/20 Co-Anchor Amy Robach. “It Was Unbelievable… We Had – Clinton, We Had Everything…” • Robach: “We Had Her Whole Allegations About Prince Andrew…I Got a Little Concerned About Why I Couldn’t Get On.”

• Amy Robach Describes How She Interviewed a Woman Who Had the Courage to Come Forward “Years” Ago About Epstein: “She Had Pictures, She Had Everything. She Was in Hiding for Twelve Years. We Convinced Her to Come Out. We Convinced Her to Talk to Us.”

• Robach Details ABC’s Initial Response to Her: “Who’s Jeffrey Epstein? No One Knows Who That is. This is a Stupid Story

• Robach: “Now it’s All Coming Out … I Freaking Had All Of It…” (New York, NY) Newly revealed footage leaked by an ABC insider has exposed how network executives rejected allegations against Jeffrey Epstein years ago, even though there was content regarding the merit of those claims in-hand.

Amy Robach, ‘Good Morning America’ Co-Host and Breaking News Anchor at ABC, explains how a witness came forward years ago with information pertaining to Epstein, but Disney-owned ABC News refused to air the material for years. Robach vents her anger in a “hot mic” moment with an off-camera producer, explaining that ABC quashed the story in it’s early stages. “I’ve had this interview with Virginia Roberts (Now Virginia Guiffre) [alleged Epstein victim].

We would not put it on the air. Um, first of all, I was told “Who’s Jeffrey Epstein. No one knows who that is. This is a stupid story.”

She continues, “The Palace found out that we had her whole allegations about Prince Andrew and threatened us a million different ways.” Robach goes on to express she believes that Epstein was killed in prison saying, “So do I think he was killed? 100% Yes, I do…He made his whole living blackmailing people… Yup, there were a lot of men in those planes. A lot of men who visited that Island, a lot of powerful men who came into that apartment.”

Robach repeats a prophetic statement purportedly made by Attorney Brad Edwards “…[T]here will come a day when we will realize Jeffrey Epstein was the most prolific pedophile this country has ever known,” and Disgustedly Robach states “I had it all three years ago.” Project Veritas intends to continue its investigation into corruption in the Mainstream Media.

We encourage that Brave insiders at these organizations come forward with any information they have, so that the public knows what is really going on within these media companies.

PODCAST: The Impeachment Sideshow

When moving boxes started showing up in about 20 Democrats’ offices yesterday, it was supposed to be a joke. But after Thursday’s impeachment resolution, some House members might want to hang on to the supplies. “Get packing!” the label told vulnerable Democrats, who voted to make the sham probe official. “Since day one, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Washington Democrats have sought to remove this president from office,” Rep. Mike Bost (R-Ill.) argued. But based on the latest battleground polling, the real question isn’t whether Donald Trump will lose his job – but how many Pelosi “moderates” will lose theirs.

After weeks of speculation, the only bipartisan vote on impeachment, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) pointed out, “was against it.” With the help of two Democrats, Reps. Colin Peterson of Minnesota and Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey, House Republicans sent a resounding message that the case against Donald Trump is rooted in nothing but politics. “They said they wanted to impeach him before he was even president of the United States…” House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) said on Thursday’s “Washington Watch.” “This isn’t about violations or crimes—which, by the way, is what the founders warned against.”

“If you look at where we are at right now,” Scalise went on, “we’re at an important point in history. Clearly, there are people that we serve with that don’t like the results of the 2016 election—that’s their prerogative—but [next year], the country… will be deciding who our president is going to be. It should not be Nancy Pelosi and a small group of people that she selects that get to determine who’s going to be our president.”

What this is, at its core, is a vote to deny Americans theirs. Democrats “don’t trust the people” to elect a president, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) argued. Why? Because they’re scared out of their minds about who the country would pick if they have the chance. Even Democrat Al Green (Texas) was blunt about the motivation behind this circus: “If they don’t impeach the president, he will get reelected.” But that’s not why we have impeachment. “Only in extraordinary and extreme instances should it be applied,” Congressman Darin LaHood insisted, “and as a former federal prosecutor, nothing in the facts or evidence presented so far supports [it].”

And everything leading up to this point proves it. “The Clinton and the Nixon impeachment were televised live,” Scalise reminded everyone. “Both sides had the same set of rules—fair rules. Republicans and Democrats could both call witnesses. The president was able to have legal counsel in the room. That’s not the case today. And in fact, we’ve seen what’s gone on in [Intelligence Committee Chairman] Adam Schiff’s (D-Calif.) little secret chamber, where he’s hiding—literally having meetings in secret—and that’s [not justice]…” This is the very thing Alexander Hamilton warned about in Federalist Paper #65, Steve went on, that “he was concerned the power of impeachment could one day be abused for political purposes as opposed to for criminal acts. And unfortunately, today on the House floor… Democrats [did] just that.”

It’s easy to understand why Pelosi and her party are threatened. This is a president who was elected by promising to do very specific things—and he’s doing them. In the history of this country, the Left has never experienced the kind of resolve of a Republican president like Donald Trump. Unlike his predecessors, he isn’t yielding to the pressure of the Left—but moving forward, changing the way American politics operate. He’s in touch with the people and following through on an agenda that’s a slap in the face to the socialists in the House. And that’s what’s driving the Left crazy—not these phantom crimes and misdemeanors.

At the end of the day, Scalise knows, “They can’t beat him at the ballot box,” so “they’re trying to throw everything at him today.” And even that’s not slowing him down. While they’re wasting their entire majority on a political vendetta, the White House is hunting down terrorists, destroying ISIS, nominating judges, making trade deals, boosting the economy, and protecting innocent Americans. If they want to impeach the president, fine. But impeaching his conservative agenda will be next to impossible.

VIDEO: Top House Conservative Derides ‘Secret’ Impeachment Proceedings

The chairman of the Republican Study Committee criticized the impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump, deriding them for being conducted “in secret.”

“The problem right now is they’re doing this all in secret,” says Rep. Mike Johnson, R-La., “They’re having these secret depositions and these top secret hearings in a basement somewhere.”

“I’m on the House Judiciary Committee, for example. I’m the committee [with] jurisdiction over impeachment. I am not allowed to review any of the documents, any of the testimony that’s been presented this far,” Johnson added during the fourth episode of the caucus’ “Elephants in the Room” Facebook discussion with lawmakers.

The episode was shot shortly before the House voted 232-196 to pass a resolution outlining the details of the impeachment process.

The demand for socialism is on the rise from young Americans today. But is socialism even morally sound? Find out more now >>

Johnson says he’s reached out to Democrats, including Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., who is spearheading Democrats’ impeachment inquiry, to try to set up a time to review the impeachment proceedings.

“I sent a letter … to Chairman Schiff and the chairman of the other two committees, Democrat chairmen who are engaged in this, and I said, ‘Here’s the House rule. It says I have a right to review these,’” Johnson said. “’I want to know a date and time when I can come do that.’ Nothing. It’s crickets.”

Rep. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., who joined Johnson for “Elephants in the Room,” told The Daily Signal that Congress will have to answer to the American people for the impeachment probe process.

“If we’re going to undo the results of the 2016 election, if we’re going to go against the votes of 64 million Americans, it should be a higher bar, not a lower bar [for the impeachment process],” Marshall said.

Johnson added that the impeachment process has been an abuse of power.

“It allows Adam Schiff to be basically the counsel, the judge, and the jury over this,” Johnson said.

He also discussed that the impeachment push seemed “predetermined,” saying:

We all know they [House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats] started working on impeachment of the president the day he took his oath of office. … They changed the narrative several times along the way, but they’ve always been trying to get to this desired end. This is very Machiavellian. The means justify the end, I guess, and if they have to steamroll over all the Republicans in Congress, over the will of the American people, over due process, over the rules … That’s what we’ve gotten.

So, at the end of the day … people will make up their minds about the legitimacy of that process.

The Republican Study Committee recently released a new health care plan that, among other provisions, would increase how much people could contribute pre-taxes to health savings accounts, and would create guaranteed coverage pools designed to help Americans with preexisting conditions.

Johnson says the new plan would help drive down health care costs and help Americans with “preexisting conditions, … with chronic illnesses, and serious health concerns” get access to care.

Marshall, a doctor, said the Republican Study Committee plan “empowers people by giving them more choices.”

“It personalizes health care by putting decisions for health care back in the hands of those who know best. And that’s the patient and the physician, not the federal government,” says Marshall.

The Kansas Republican said the plan was “180 degrees opposite” from Democrats’ health care proposals. “They’re proposing complete takeover of your health care by the federal government,” he said.

Johnson also mentioned he and other Republican Study Committee members had met with Trump at the White House to discuss the health care plan.

“I showed him some of the headlines, one from Fox News that said the Republican Study Committee’s health care plan is the fulfillment of President Trump’s challenge and his promise to make the Republican party the party of health care,” Johnson said. “He was grateful for that and encouraged by it.”

VIDEO: California Begins Massive Voter Roll Clean-Up!

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it has been informed that Los Angeles County has sent notices to as many as 1.5 million inactive voters on its voter rolls. This mailing is a step toward removing the names of voters who have moved, died, or are otherwise ineligible to vote. The massive mailing is the result of a settlement agreement with Judicial Watch requiring the county to remove as many as 1.5 million inactive registrations. In addition, the California secretary of state has alerted other California counties to clean up their voter registration lists to comply with the federal National Voter Registration Act (NVRA), as the secretary promised to do in that same settlement agreement.

All of this is the result of a federal lawsuit Judicial Watch filed in 2017 to force the cleanup of Los Angeles County’s voter rolls (Judicial Watch, Inc., et al. v. Dean C. Logan, et al. (No. 2:17-cv-08948)). Judicial Watch sued on its own behalf and on behalf of Wolfgang Kupka, Rhue Guyant, Jerry Griffin, and Delores M. Mars, who are lawfully registered voters in Los Angeles County. Judicial Watch was joined in this lawsuit by Election Integrity Project California, Inc., a public interest group that has long been involved in monitoring California’s voter rolls.

Under the terms of the settlement agreement, voters who do not respond to the notices sent by the county and who do not vote in the next two federal elections must be removed from the voting rolls. Secretary Padilla also agreed to update the state’s online NVRA manual in order to make clear that ineligible names must be removed and to notify each California county that they are obliged to do this. On April 11, Secretary Padilla notified Judicial Watch that this part of the settlement agreement had been implemented.

The agreement also required the office of the secretary of state to send a written advisory to all county clerks/registrars of voters in California stating that current federal law requires the cancellation of a registrant who has failed to respond to an official notice and who then fails to vote, offers to vote, correct the registrar’s record, “or otherwise have their eligibility to vote confirmed for a period of time including the next two general federal elections.”

The updated California National Voter Registration Act Manual, March 2019, conforms to this standard. In April and May 2019, the California secretary of state provided a training presentation to all 58 counties in California regarding the proper list maintenance procedures under the NVRA.

As Judicial Watch previously noted, Los Angeles County has over 10 million residents, more than the populations of 41 of the 50 United States. California is America’s largest state, with almost 40 million residents. The county had allowed more than 20% of its registered voters to become inactive without removing them from the voter list.

Judicial Watch discovered that California had treated the removal of inactive voters as permissive, not mandatory, and had not cleaned its voter registration rolls in at least 20 years. The Supreme Court affirmed last year in an opinion affirming a historic Judicial Watch settlement with Ohio that the NVRA “makes this removal mandatory.”

“This Judicial Watch settlement will result in the immediate and ongoing clean-up of voter rolls in California and LA County,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “This victory for clean elections in California will set another national precedent for other states to take reasonable steps to ensure that dead and other ineligible voters are removed from the rolls.”

Judicial Watch is the national leader in enforcing the provisions of the NVRA.  In early January, Judicial Watch announced that it signed a settlement agreement with the State of California and County of Los Angeles under which they will begin the process of removing from their voter registration rolls as many as 1.5 million inactive registered names that may be invalid. This was only the third statewide settlement achieved by private plaintiffs under the NVRA – and Judicial Watch was the plaintiff in each of those cases. The other statewide settlements were with Ohio (in 2014) and with Kentucky (2018), which agreed to a court-ordered consent decree.

Adam Schiff’s Drive to Impeach Trump Based on Opinions, Deception and Illusions – Not Facts

“Rep. Adam Schiff is a poor man’s Harry Houdini. He is a cheap illusionist performing amateurish parlor tricks of deception in his quest to convince his audience that he possesses damning evidence of an impeachable offense committed by President Trump,” Gregg Jarrett writes in Fox News.

“Schiff, D-Calif., has no such evidence, of course. But like most illusionists, Schiff employs misdirection and confusion. He attempts to convince you that opinions are evidence, while facts are not.”

The bottom line: “Anyone with computer access can download and read the transcript while forming their own opinion.”

In fact, you can read it for yourself here.

The decision of Reddit administrators to “quarantine” one of President Trump’s largest and most vocal groups of supporters online is an “egregious example of social media sites meddling in political affairs,” Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) writes for RealClearPolitics.

“Republicans need to start speaking out about the treatment we’ve received from technology companies. We need to understand that nobody else will stand up for us.”

“The White House is making a strong push against Democrats’ ‘Medicare for All’ proposal, laying out a ‘Health Care for You’ agenda to boost competition and transparency, lower prescription prices, and produce greater affordability in health-related costs,” Fred Lucas reports in The Daily Signal.

“You have to give the Democrats credit. When their narratives collapse, they invent a new one. Their misrepresentation of the phone conversation and the president’s inquiry into Ukrainian corruption and potential influence in our 2016 election are somehow being conflated into a most amorphous allegation of ‘abuse of power,’” Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) writes in The Washington Times.

VIDEO: Democrat’s treasonous insider is Eric Ciaramella? Watch and learn about this DNC operative in the White House . . .

On October 25th, 2019 Vlad Tepes Blog posted the below video exposing Eric Ciaramella as the mysterious person who began the Ukrainian investigation.

It the notorious whistle blower Eric Ciaramella?

Communities Digital News journalist  reports:

The worst kept secret in Washington is that former NSC staffer and CIA employee Eric Ciaramella is Adam Schiff’s secret “whistleblower” in the ongoing Nancy Pelosi impeachment farce. More importantly, Ciaramella has a long history with Obama NSC advisor Susan Rice and former Vice President Joe Biden.

Add that to the list of “witnesses” before Schiff ‘s Stassi East German secret police-style lack of intelligence committee. You have a succession of partisan Trump-haters with long pedigrees of either being Democrat operatives. Deep ties to Burisma holdings. Or active participants in the George Soros Open Societies Foundations.

Townhall’s Bronson Stocking notes:

Everything Trump’s defenders feared about the whistleblower is true! According to a report from RealClear Investigations, the whistleblower is 33-year-old Eric Ciaramella.

Ciaramella is a holdover from the Obama administration and a registered Democrat. He’s been accused of leaking like crazy. He worked with Joe Biden, he’s a vocal critic of President Trump, and he invited a DNC operative inside the White House to attend meetings. He also helped instigate the investigation into Russia collusion. So, of course, Democrats believe his second-hand complaint about President Trump’s phone conversation with Ukranian President Zelensky over the actual transcript of the call itself.

Federal documents reveal that the 33-year-old Ciaramella, a registered Democrat held over from the Obama White House, previously worked with former Vice President Joe Biden and former CIA Director John Brennan, a vocal critic of Trump who helped initiate the Russia “collusion” investigation of the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.

Further, Ciaramella (pronounced char-a-MEL-ah) left his National Security Council posting in the White House’s West Wing in mid-2017 amid concerns about negative leaks to the media. He has since returned to CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

“He was accused of working against Trump and leaking against Trump,” said a former NSC official, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss intelligence matters.

So now we shall wait to see if the Democrats confirm that Ciaramella, a member of the deep state and predator of the swamp, will hold open hearings and allow Mr. Ciaramella to be questioned and cross examined by the President’s lawyers.

We aren’t holding our breath but stranger things have happened.

History Will Not Be Kind to Nancy Pelosi

“One way or another, Nancy Pelosi will go down in history. Let’s hope she doesn’t take America with her,” Michael Goodwin writes in the New York Post.

Speaker Pelosi’s decision to go all in on impeachment “is a historic mistake, one that could tear America apart. Based on the evidence the House has made public, impeaching Trump is a meritless, reckless assault on democracy.”

Goodwin explains that “[Pelosi’s] real problem is that she doesn’t have the goods to justify impeachment under any process. And she won’t, no matter how many witnesses emerge from the bureaucracy to say they were unhappy with the Ukraine call or didn’t agree with Trump’s choices. Policy disagreements and murky arguments won’t lead to a public consensus for removing an elected president.”

The new website, called FindTreatment.gov, “is the latest development in the administration’s effort to address the nation’s opioid crisis.”

“Last weekend the Washington Post changed an appalling headline after readers expressed their disappointment. But the paper’s bizarre obituary for terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi may still need a rewrite,” James Freeman writes in The Wall Street Journal. The first paragraph of their story about the dead ISIS leader still stunningly portrays Baghdadi as an “austere religious scholar.”

Homosexual Bishop Funneled Millions from Hospital for Gifts, Personal Use — Vatican Cdl. Kevin Farrell and others benefited from Bp. Bransfield’s largesse

by Christine Niles, M.St. (Oxon.), J.D.  •  ChurchMilitant.com.

WASHINGTON (ChurchMilitant.com) – A disgraced homosexual bishop diverted millions of dollars from a hospital into his charity, used to send cash gifts to others — including a top Vatican cardinal who received nearly $30,000.

$21 Million Funneled From Hospital

An exposé published in The Washington Post Saturday reveals that Bp. Michael Bransfield, formerly of the diocese of Wheeling-Charleston in W. Virginia, sent two checks of $14,000 and $15,000 each to Cdl. Kevin Farrell, head of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life.

His reasons were to help furnish his Rome apartment.

“I fixed that room up for him,” Bransfield told The Washington Post.

Farrell was among 130 clergy who benefited from the bishop’s largesse, totaling $350,000 in cash gifts.

The news outfit’s investigation revealed that Farrell’s money derived from $21 million diverted from Wheeling Hospital, which is owned by the diocese, to a charity founded by Bransfield in 2014, called the Bishop’s Fund. Bransfield served at the time as chairman of the hospital board.

Emails reveal that Bryan Minor, a hospital board member and diocesan director of human resources, arranged the transfers of money from the Bishop’s Fund into Bransfield’s personal bank account, for use as gifts to others.

“Hey there,” begins an email dated May 12, 2017. “Just a note that I need to order a check from The Bishop’s Fund, payable to DWC [Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston], to cover a check as a gift to Abp Kevin Farrell at the Vatican.”

A total of $321,000 of Bishop’s Fund money was sent by Bransfield out of West Virginia, in spite of the charity’s purpose as being “to provide for the pastoral care of the diocese” and the “charitable care of the people of the diocese.”

Bransfield remains unapologetic, justifying his checks to Farrell as “funds that I had raised,” and refusing to answer other questions by The Washington Post.

While Minor claims the transfers to Bransfield’s personal bank account were legal, at least two members of Wheeling Hospital’s board say they don’t remember ever approving such large transfers of money.

The Department of Justice has been conducting an ongoing investigation into Bransfield’s spending “as part of a lawsuit that accuses the hospital of defrauding the federal government of millions of dollars by filing false claims for Medicare reimbursement.”

The hospital denies any wrongdoing.

Tax filings and hospital audits show that a total of $21 million were funneled from Wheeling Hospital through the diocese or various non-profits, eventually to wind up in the Bishop’s Fund, and a chunk of it ultimately landing in Bransfield’s own bank account.

The transfers were a deliberate attempt to get around the Internal Revenue Service, whose files show that the Bishop’s Fund was to be used exclusively to helping those in need in W. Virginia.

“I thought that was legal and, according to accounting, that we could make a grant to the diocese and that the diocese could make a grant as a pass-through to a Catholic entity,” Minor said.

Among beneficiaries of the Bishop’s Fund was the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, which received $60,000 for renovation work on its dome.

Bransfield was former rector of the Shrine, handpicked by Theodore McCarrick, whose successor, Msgr. Walter Rossi — also handpicked by McCarrick — is currently under investigation by two dioceses for complaints of homosexual misconduct and harassment.

Cdl. Kevin Farrell Linked to Theodore McCarrick

Farrell, who left Dallas in 2016 when Pope Francis appointed him to head the Vatican’s Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life, lived on the same floor for six years with housemate Abp. Theodore McCarrick, now laicized after being exposed as a serial homosexual predator.

Farrell was widely mocked by Catholics after he told Catholic News Service he had been “shocked” last year on hearing the allegations against McCarrick.

“I was shocked, overwhelmed; I never heard any of this before, the six years I was there with him,” Farrell claimed. “And never, no indication, none whatsoever, nobody ever talked to me about that.”

Farrell was appointed to a key Vatican role last year by Pope Francis, who named Farrell Cardinal Camerlengo, a central position that involves formally pronouncing the end of a pope’s reign and directing preparations for the conclave. The camerlengo becomes the de facto ruling sovereign of the Church until a new pontiff is elected. During such time he serves as executive director of the Holy See, and answers to the College of Cardinals.

As a member of the papal household, the camerlengo also oversees the real estate and revenue of the Holy See.

According to a new apostolic constitution issued by the pontiff this summer, the camerlengo position will be handed over to Cdl. Reinhard Marx, president of the German Bishops’ Conference.

Farrell left Dallas in 2016 when Pope Francis appointed him to head the Vatican dicastery. Befo lived on the same floor for six years with housemate Abp. Theodore McCarrick, now laicized after being exposed as a serial homosexual predator.

He was widely mocked by Catholics after he told Catholic News Service he had been “shocked” last year on hearing the allegations against McCarrick.

“I was shocked, overwhelmed; I never heard any of this before, the six years I was there with him,” Farrell claimed. “And never, no indication, none whatsoever, nobody ever talked to me about that.”

Farrell had issued similar denials when asked about the predatory behavior of Fr. Marcial Maciel, founder of the Legionaries of Christ, of which Farrell was a member. Maciel was later exposed as a serial sex abuser who fathered children with multiple women and even raped his own sons.

“I never knew anything back then,” he told the Irish Times in 2016. “I worked in Monterrey, and maybe I would have met Maciel once or twice, but I never suspected anything. … I left the Legionaries because I had intellectual differences with them.”

But one longtime friend and former Legionary is contradicting his words. J. Paul Lennon, among the first group of Irish-born members of the Legion and close friend of Farrell’s brother Brian (a former Legionary who now works as secretary for the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity), claims Farrell was far closer to Maciel than he lets on.

“Kevin did know Fr. Maciel on a personal basis,” Lennon told Church Militant. “When Kevin was working in Connecticut as a Legionary priest, before he left the community circa 1984, Kevin did spend time with Fr. Maciel when he would visit that ‘front.'”

“I have been told that on at least one occasion Kevin and other Legionaries participated in a pillow fight to entertain Fr. Maciel (the sex pervert),” he added.

Viganò: Bransfield Perfect Example of ‘Corrupt Gay Mafia’

“Bishop Bransfield is a perfect example of what I was referring to,” Abp. Carlo Maria Viganò said in remarks published by Vaticanista Marco Tosatti, referring to a “corrupt gay mafia” running the Church.

Bransfield was suspended last fall after allegations of homosexual misconduct and financial misdealings. A detailed Vatican investigation revealed that Bransfield harassed and assaulted seminarians and priests, and also misappropriated millions of dollars in diocesan funds for personal expenses, including thousands spent on alcohol, flowers, flying first class and sending cash gifts to fellow prelates.

“It is important to note that, before being appointed bishop, he was rector of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. and was president of the [Board of Trustees] of the Papal Foundation, both linked to McCarrick and Cardinal Wuerl,” Viganò explained.

The Papal Foundation, with assets worth $206 million, was co-founded by McCarrick in 1988, Bransfield serving as the first president of its board of trustees.

Controversy engulfed the Pennsylvania charity when three stewards resigned from the audit committee in 2018 after Wuerl pushed for the Vatican to receive $25 million — the largest single grant ever given by the foundation. The money was going toward the Istituto Dermopatico Dell’Immacolata (IDI), a scandal-ridden hospital in Rome investigated and indicted by Italian authorities for embezzlement and tax fraud of nearly a billion euros.

The Vatican investigation revealed that Bransfield had sent $350,000 in cash gifts to various cardinals and bishops, including $10,500 to Abp. William Lori — the very man appointed to carry out the investigation. Other beneficiaries include Cardinals Wuerl, Timothy Dolan, Raymond Burke and Viganò himself, who donated the money to charity.

VIDEO: ISIS Caliph, devout follower of Mohammed, and ‘savage monster’ Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi died like ‘a dog and coward’ killing his own children

Not since the massive slaughter carried out by the former Ottoman Empire have we seen anything like the brutality and butchering of Muslims, Christians and non-believers under the ISIS Caliphate lead by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Here is President Trump’s announcement and question and answer session on the killing of the world’s former leading terrorist:

Stephen Sorace from Fox News reported:

The Washington Post  published a gasp-inducing headline for the ages Sunday, describing ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as an “austere religious scholar.”

The obituary, written by The [Washington] Post’s National Security reporter Joby Warrick, followed confirmation of al-Baghdadi’s death in a U.S. military operation in Syria on Saturday night. It detailed al-Baghdadi’s rise to the terrorist group’s shadow leader from what the paper described as his origins as a “religious scholar with wireframe glasses.”

In my column President Trump rejects the principal tenant of Islam — Martyrdom I wrote:

President Trump’s first major speech overseas was in the heart of Islam, Saudi Arabia. The speech was eloquent and presidential. While many will analyse the speech from various angles, I believe the most important sentence in the speech made by the President was:

If you choose the path of terror, your life will be empty, your life will be brief, and your soul will be condemned.

I truly believe what we saw in President Trump’s remarks verify that al-Baghdadi’s life was empty, brief and that his soul is condemned.

President Trump undermined that basic tenant of Islam before fifty leaders of the Arab world. This is the equivalent of going to Rome and denying that the death of Jesus on the cross gives mankind life everlasting.

What President Trump said was blasphemy in many Muslim majority countries.

President Trump’s words are more powerful than using the phrase “radical Islamic terrorism.” For you see terrorists are a culture of death, as the President pointed out, and he single handily denied them paradise and their purpose for following Allah.

All I can say is that this operation was brilliant! President Trump called it correctly, al Baghdadi was a whimpering, crying coward who blew himself up, with three of his own children, in a desperate act of self-inflicted terrorism. A fitting end to a monster.

GOP Enthusiasm Is Breaking Records

Something happened last night that never happened before. The Sarasota Republican Club on Florida’s politically red coast sold-out a dinner with Republican Congressman Vern Buchanan, who is a regular speaker who has never sold out before. In fact, no Club event had ever sold out. The venue maxxed out at 120 guests — the most it could hold — and another 20-30 or more were turned away.

Sarasota is in the heart of Florida’s red Gulf Coast, but the overflowing dinner was anecdotal evidence of what is likely happening in much of the country. Impeachment is driving GOP enthusiasm to new levels.

GOP enthusiasm for the reelection of President Trump is sky-high. Part of it is Trump’s performance on conservative policies and willingness to punch back — something Republicans have been longing for since Reagan. But a substantial part is the utter insanity and blatant corruption being displayed not just by Democrats but by the entire left establishment from the media to the permanent bureaucracy. The swamp could not be revealed to be more swampier and people are seeing it who did not before.

This can be revealed in some numbers.

In Florida, the biggest battleground state, GOP voter registration has narrowed the Democratic lead to its smallest amount since 1972 — the first year such solid numbers were kept. Most likely, it is the closest since Reconstruction. The latest numbers from the Florida Division of Elections shows that there are 4.986 million registered Democrats in Florida, and 4.741 million registered Republicans, which is an ever narrowing gap. Democrats admit that the closing gap is of great concern because Republicans turn out at the polls in higher percentages than Democrats or independents.

Other states where Republicans are gaining on Democrats in voter registration include the large normally Democratic state of Pennsylvania, along with Kentucky and Louisiana, according to Governing.com. Nationwide, both major parties are seeing declines as independents continue to increase. But the Democratic decline is much sharper at 0.8 of a percentage point compared to Republicans’ 0.2 percent decline.

In fact, in Ohio, the next largest swing state, The Wall Street Journal reports that Democrat strategists are expecting to write the state off as no longer competitive. Democrats will be looking to flip back Michigan and Wisconsin.

Steve Schale, a Democratic strategist who led Obama’s 2008 Florida campaign, told the Miami Herald that party registration has become one of the best indicators of which candidate will win, particularly as the country becomes more polarized. Schale told the newspaper that if Democrats want to win, they need to significantly outnumber Republicans. And that is not happening.

“If more of them vote than us, and we have less of us, then we’re always going to be threading a needle,” he said.

Independents muddy this water some as that particular voting block, known as No Party Affiliation in Florida, now stands at 3.638 million — more than twice what it was in 2000. But independents broke for Florida Republicans at high rates in the 2018 election, which was a blue wave election nationally. Polls suggest that the antics of Democrats from AOC to impeachment to Sen. Elizabeth Warren are turning off more independents than Trump’s antics.

So what appears to be happening in these numbers is a mix of increasing Republican enthusiasm coupled with increasing numbers of people leaving the Democratic Party — for reasons that are probably obvious to our readers.

But it’s about a lot more than numbers. Enthusiasm is huge. Republicans had it in 2016 and Democrats had it in 2018. And it feels like Republicans have a lot more right now.

In the microcosm, that showed at the dinner speech last night for local Congressman Buchanan, who is targeted every year by Democrats and is again this year. There were a lot of first-time attendees, which goes straight to the enthusiasm metric.

This has been a trend at the Club which, in full disclosure, I am president of. Just this year, though, the dinners are showing a sharp uptick in attendance — and this is not even an election year yet. Seeing so many new faces suggests a broadening of GOP interest and support.

One last metric for the enthusiasm scale: Money. Trump and the GOP are raking in record amounts.

Politico reported that Trump and the Republican National Coalition have raised more than $300 million towards 2020. The Trump 2020 alone has $158 million cash on hand — more than any other sitting president at this point in the campaign cycle. Further, in just the past quarter, the Trump campaign has identified more than 300,000 new donors.

As long as the relentless attacks continue on President Trump by the Democrat Media establishment, clearly working in tandem with Democrat leaders in Congress — and it’s almost inconceivable to think they will not with impeachment as just the latest example — Republicans and Trump will continue getting stronger heading into 2020.

VIDEO: President Trump secures permanent ceasefire in northeast Syria

In a major address today, President Donald J. Trump said that Turkey has agreed to turn their recent ceasefire along the Syrian border into a permanent agreement. As a result, the U.S. Treasury has lifted all of its recently imposed sanctions on Turkey.

President Trump: 8 years after failed regime change, it’s time to come home.

The agreement achieved by the Trump Administration, including the original 5-day ceasefire negotiated last week, has helped save lives and allow the Kurds to safely leave affected areas. These actions will help secure a more peaceful and stable border between Turkey and Syria. Ultimately, however, responsibility rests with those countries.

“How many Americans must die in the Middle East in the midst of these ancient sectarian and tribal conflicts?” President Trump asked. “After all of the precious blood and treasure America has poured into the deserts of the Middle East, I am committed to pursuing a different course—one that leads to victory for America.”

The United States expects Turkey to honor its commitments in the efforts to counter ISIS. We have defeated the Islamic State caliphate, and now it’s time for others in the region to step up and ensure ISIS does not regain territory.

“Should Turkey fail to honor its obligations—including the protection of religious and ethnic minorities—we reserve the right to re-impose crippling sanctions, including substantially increased tariffs on steel and all other products coming out of Turkey,” President Trump said.

Tough diplomacy, backed by American economic power and strength, saves lives. It also avoids the worst instincts of the Washington foreign policy establishment. “We have avoided another costly military intervention that could’ve led to disastrous, far-reaching consequences. Many thousands of people could’ve been killed,” the President said.

Bottom line: President Trump will not send tens of thousands of American troops into never-ending conflict in Syria. He is not going to continue the disastrous policies of the previous Administration in the Middle East. And, most important, he is not going to get America into another endless war that costs us countless lives and resources.

President Trump: 30 days turned into 10 years of war.
