In the Blue State of Massachusetts it’s Okay for Teachers to Have Sex with 14-year Old Students!

In the first 4 months of this year at least 135 teachers, substitute teachers or teachers aides have been charged with multiple child sex related charges like sodomy, rape, child pornography etc.

Fox News reporter Jessica Chasmar revealed:

At least 135 teachers and teachers’ aides have been arrested so far this year on child sex-related crimes in the U.S., ranging from child pornography to raping students.

An analysis conducted by Fox News Digital looked at local news stories week by week featuring arrests of teachers and teachers’ aides on child sex-related crimes in school districts across the country. Arrests that weren’t publicized were not counted in the analysis, meaning the true number may well be higher.

Let that sink in. 135 teachers, substitute teachers and teachers aides. That number does not include those yet to be charged as they are under investigation nor those yet to be discovered. So 135 may be a very low actual number.

The total number of offenses charged is multiple thousands.

Unsurprisingly the largest number of offenders were men. 105 men but surprisingly to me 30 women. The figures of male teacher on male students is not available nor that of female teacher on female students. I hazard to say that there is more than a few cases where teachers of the LGBTQI persuasion have molested the kids in their care. I am not saying that is worse. Of course not. However, their evil and immoral agenda particularly in the public schools and the push to promote that agenda on impressionable aged kids will play a part.

Now, as I mentioned above. many of these teachers staff face a huge multitude of charges like child pornography and images of children in sexual and abusive situations and the known number of our kids molested is far, far higher than the 135 charged so far. By the way that is approximately one teacher a day charged so far this year.

Between 1950 and 2020 the number of children molested only by Catholic priests and not including molestations from a multitude of other religions and entities like the sports groups and the Boy Scouts, was 216,000 worldwide. That averages out at just over 3050 a year. I think it is not inconceivable to say that the total number of kids being molested by so called trusted teachers annually here in the United States alone will not be far from that number. The world was shocked by the Catholic Church molestation charges and the churches attempts by evil hierarchy to hide these disgusting offenses, but there is not much outrage here in the US where we appear to have a bigger problem. Hypocritical? I say yes. Should we trust priests more than teachers? Should we punish church employees more than teachers etc.? Good questions. I say no, punish them the same. Both groups and others should be trusted to not rape or inappropriately touch our kids.

Don’t get me wrong. Child abuse at any stage by anyone is wrong. Did the Catholic Church get a raw deal with lawsuits that bankrupted diocese all over and cost parishioners billions and billions of dollars? Not necessarily but there is no quid pro quo. I do not see or hear of any school districts bankrupted for their teachers offenses. Was it because of the wealth and size and therefore power and influence of the Catholic Church and the way the left in the world could safely and easily carry on their disinformation to destroy religions world wide? To destroy peoples beliefs in God? To further break down our society? I say yes.

Back to the title of this blog. Yes. It is true that in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

In an April 13th, 2019 in Good Schools Hunting article titled “Consent Age in MA and RI drops to 14 if Touching by Adults in Positions of Authority Doesn’t ‘Penetrate’ the Child —Here’s What You Need to Know” Erika Sanzi reported:

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad—actually grotesque tidings—about the current consent laws in two very blue states that pride themselves on being progressive and so much more enlightened than those other “backward” states. But Texas and Kentucky protect their students and other minors from sexual predation by adults in positions of authority and Rhode Island and Massachusetts do not.

While union officials say or imply, “this isn’t really an issue here,” Hofstra University researcher Carol Shakeshaft, who has studied the issue more than anyone else, said this in an interview after her 2004 study was published:

Think the Catholic Church has a problem? The physical sexual abuse of students in schools is likely more than 100 times the abuse by priests.

In doing further research this week, I stumbled upon the very troubling fact that sex acts with 14 year olds by adults, including those in positions of authority, is perfectly legal under current law in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I called the the Rhode Island’s Attorney General’s office to confirm and, the next day, I received a call from them confirming what I had found. I asked them directly, over the phone, “so you are saying that it is perfectly legal for a teacher or school bus driver to sexually touch 14 year olds, with their consent, as long as there is no penetration?” Their response was a simple, “yes”.

Rhode Island looks like appealing it as of now but has not done it yet despite 5 years of trying – who is stopping it? Politicians that like children? The answer has to be yes. It is not illegal for teachers and other adults in positions of authority over our kids to have sexual relationships with kids in their charge once they turn 14!

Let that sink in America.

Our public school system has a major sex abuse problem, far bigger than that of the Catholic Church or other religious or kid related denominations and associations. In fact our problem makes the Catholic church’s problem look minute. In 2004 a department of education report on a conducted study on this very subject, declared that MILLIONS OF KIDS ARE VICTIMS OF TEACHER SEXUAL ABUSE IN YEARS K THROUGH 12. Yes. Millions. That was 18 years ago.

That was 2004 and there has not been any other significant research since then. I believe that the result of a current study would run contrary to the democrats official policy so therefore will never be done. When they have perverted presidents who liked flights on the Lolita Express or love touching and sniffing young girls hair etc. there is an issue. Obviously as it has not been done during Republican administrations suspicion must fall there too. ( However, in fairness, that research was done under a republican president, George W Bush. )

I call upon this usurper administration to immediately fund an investigation into this very real problem of sexual abuse of school aged children by those we trust most to look after them. The investigation needs to go deep and need to be publicly released in full after it is complete. Whatever resources needed to complete that study quickly and to come up with legislation and fixes must be spent. A time limit must be placed on it if a year. We cannot wait. Our kids must be safe.

HOWEVER I WILL NOT HOLD MY BREATH AS THIS ADMINISTRATION IS BY FAR THE MOST PERVERTED AND ABNORMAL ADMINISTRATION IN OUR HISTORY. 14% OF HIS ADMINISTRATION ARE GAY OR TRANSGENDER AND MANY APPROVE OF IMMORAL TEACHINGS OF KIDS. EXAMPLES ARE HIS TRANSPORT SECRETARY, THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF HEALTH, HIS SOCIAL SECRETARY AND NOW WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY – ALL OF WHOM WERE PLACED WHERE THEY ARE BECAUSE OF THEIR SEXUALITY CHOICES AND NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE EXPERIENCED OR EVEN MARGINALLY GOOD AT THEIR JOBS AS THEY OBVIOUSLY ARE NOT.

I also suggest that every city and state freezes teachers pay until this investigation is complete and stops sending money to the federal government and the Department of Education.

Huh you say? Are you nuts? No. Here is why.

Our teachers earn the 7th highest salary worldwide behind Luxembourg, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, Austria and South Korea. Our kids however, rate near the bottom of international standards in math, reading and science scores. Unacceptable. If we as tax payers and US citizens and residents have to foot the bill for teachers pay and benefits, then if we are to keep increasing the salary and those benefits for teachers surely it is not unreasonable for us to expect a far better product?

We need a total revamp of how we teach our children serious subject matter before our continued fall against other countries gets more out of control or as an ever increasing international community vies for top paying jobs globally and our kids are left further behind. We have to stop letting kids graduate that cannot even read properly or do basic math. Let kids learn real school stuff and not the woke agenda of the left. Let them grow up able to face life and compete rather than expect everything to be given them. Let them learn critical thinking and common sense, real history, science, math etc. Let them understand discipline. Let’s prepare them for the real world.

So as you can see we have at least two major reasons to look at our schools and the system of education. I suggest doing away with the federal department of education and returning it to the States who constitutionally should be in charge. Not faceless and overpaid federal bureaucrats.

The above hopefully opens your eyes and minds. I know the majority of teachers may be upset but our kids must come before their sensitivity or the agenda of the communist led teachers unions agendas.

It’s been almost three weeks since a leaker disclosed a draft document from the Supreme Court pointing to a decision to overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling on abortion, and Rep. Matt Rosendale told Newsmax on Thursday that at least some of the justices have to know the guilty party.

“We all could probably agree that the justices that were appointed by Democrat presidents know who the leaker was,” the Montana Republican said on Newsmax’s “Wake Up America.” “What bothers me, it’s not only the undermining that it did of the institution and the trust factor that these folks have with each other.”

And now that trust is broken, “it’s very difficult to restore it,” he added.

Rosendale said he doesn’t know if releasing the information was a crime, but the protests that have taken place to try to intimidate the justices into changing their votes and to keep Roe v. Wade intact are illegal.

“It is a federal crime to go in and try and get a justice to change their vote,” he said. “To try and influence the outcome of a court decision is a crime. It’s a federal crime, and again, we see the Department of Justice is laying down on the job and not pursuing these people that are trying to intimidate them.”

Eventually, though, the person or persons who released the information will be revealed, said Rosendale.

“There could be more people involved, and those people could go all the way to the top,” he said. “Don’t eliminate the judges because you know people, so there’s no way that would happen. No way. Think about it. Michael Sussmann is on trial right now for Russiagate. That happened six years ago. We’re only getting answers right now. I hope it doesn’t take another six years to get answers to what happened at the Supreme Court.”…….

Time For A New National Legion of Decency to stop the social and medical ‘massacre of the innocence of youth’

Founded in 1933 by Archbishop of Cincinnati John T. McNicholas the National Legion of Decency was an organization dedicated to identifying and combating objectionable content, from the point of view of the Roman Catholic Church in the United States, in motion pictures. Bishop Cicognani warned against the “massacre of innocence of youth.” The Legion originally included many Protestant and even some Jewish clerics. The National Legion of Decency caused the movie industry to create a rating system. To learn more read our column: Is it time for the Motion Picture Association of America to Add a “Q” Rating?.

Recently Bill Mahar did a monologue during his “New Rule” segment titled “Along for the Pride.” Mahar took a look at on what has happened to children identifying as gay overtime. Bill used a chart showing the increase in the number of Americans who self-identify as LGBTQ (click here to view the chart).

Bill’s concern, like that of Bishop McNicholas, is the “massacre of the innocence of youth” over time by social pressures, chemically and via medical procedures.  Watch:

Bill Mahar asked a key question about why trans children are more likely to be from Los Angeles, Californian rather than Youngstown, Ohio, “If this spike in trans children is all natural why is it regional?”

Mahar answers his own question stating, “Either Ohio is shaming them (gays) or California is creating them.”

Bill is spot on. America is creating gays and this is the goal of public schools, colleges and universities, corporations from Apple to Amazon to Disney to the Democrat Party.

Shaming versus Creating Homosexuals

The National Legion of Decency shamed the movie industry into creating a system to classify film based upon “objectionable material.” In 1968 the MPAA set up a rating board that classified films as G, M, R, and X. The MPA ratings are now as follows:

  • G, for general audiences;
  • PG, parental guidance suggested;
  • PG-13, parents strongly cautioned, because film contains material inappropriate for children under 13;
  • R, restricted to adults and to children under 17 accompanied by parent or guardian;
  • and NC-17, no children under 17 admitted.

Is it not feasible and reasonable to do the same with those who are encouraging, promoting and thereby creating more who self-identify as LGBTQ+? We agree with Bill Mahar that this conversion to LGBTQ+ is regional but its reach is both national and global.

It is national because the U.S. public schools are brainwashing American children into believing that be gay is good, when just the opposite is true.

In the 1830s Horace Mann,  a Massachusetts legislator and secretary of that state’s board of education, advocated for the creation of a national system of public schools with the focus on training students to become skilled workers while teaching them the traditional core academic disciplines (i.e. reading, writing, arithmetic and applied science).

Today public schools are under the microscope for teaching “objectionable material” children about the gay lifestyle, thereby creating more children who self-identify as gay.

According to the American Psychiatric Association,

LGBTQ individuals are more than twice as likely as heterosexual men and women to have a mental health disorder in their lifetime. They are 2.5 times more likely to experience depression, anxiety, and substance misuse compared with heterosexual individuals.

There has been a concerted effort to stop others from “shaming” those who act gay. Gay organization like GLSEN have called it bullying and many public schools have implemented programs to stop bullying. But these anti-bullying programs are as Bill Mahar said are creating more gays.

But you see that is the objective. They want to shame heterosexuals to become gay.

PEDOPHILE USA, INC

In April we wrote a column titled “PEDOPHILE USA, INC: List of the 73 Top Underage Children’s Sex Grooming Organizations in America.” Among the groups listed as grooming children for underaged sex were:

  1. The Democrat Party
  2. United States Department of Education
  3. Disney, Inc.
  4. Department of Homeland Security
  5. AFT – American Federation of Teachers

Perhaps it is time for a new National Legion of Decency dedicated to stopping the massacre of the innocence of our youth.

In the wake of a brutal earnings report and a sea of controversy, Netflix recently delivered a blunt message to employees.

If you don’t like the content Netflix produces, you are free to leave.

The message was delivered to employees in the streaming giant’s culture guidelines, which the Wall Street Journal said were updated on Thursday for the first time since 2017 to include language on artistic expression in its programming.

“We let viewers decide what’s appropriate for them, versus having Netflix censor specific artists or voices,” Netflix said in an updated memo. “Depending on your role, you may need to work on titles you perceive to be harmful. If you’d find it hard to support our content breadth, Netflix may not be the best place for you.”

It’s been a tough year for Netflix. The company’s stock is down 61 percent over the last 12 months after plummeting in April when the streamer revealed in its first quarter earnings report that it had lost 200,000 subscribers, the first time in more than a decade it had posted a net loss in subscriptions.

Apart from its bottom line, Netflix found itself in a stew of controversy in October when a group of employees staged a walkout over Dave Chappelle’s comedy special The Closer, which some viewers described as transphobic.

The controversy prompted one producer to boycott Netflix, whose CEO seemed caught off guard by the backlash.

“We are trying to support creative freedom and artistic expression among the artists that work at Netflix,” Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said. “Sometimes, and we do make sure our employees understand this, because of that — because we’re trying to entertain the world, and the world is made up of folks with a lot of different sensibilities and beliefs and senses of humor and all those things — sometimes, there will be things on Netflix that you dislike.”

How Netflix arrived here stems from a pair of cultural trends. The first is the mainstreaming of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), an idea that says corporations must be socially accountable to its customers and stakeholders—by getting involved.

For most of US history, corporations stayed out of politics. That has changed.

Customers now expect corporations to take sides, which is why it’s common to see companies take positions on everything from climate change and vaccines to gun control and regulating speech. The rise of CSR is why you see Burger King taking on “cow farts & burps.” It’s not just about generating profits by serving customers anymore. Increasingly, corporations see a responsibility to take stands in the realm of social activism.

At least to some extent, companies are motivated by the fear of remaining silent on important causes, suggested Vanessa Burbano, an assistant professor of management at Columbia Business School.

“Will people maybe infer from your silence something that isn’t your company’s stance?” Burbano told Forbes. “If every other company in your industry has come out and publicly made a statement on an issue, you don’t want to be the one to stay silent.”

The second trend is the rise of fragility and censorship, which in recent years has steadily chipped away at free expression and speech. Around 2016, social media companies like Twitter, which had formerly described itself as a bastion of free speech, began to aggressively police speech on its platforms. By 2020, corporations like Coca-Cola, Hersey, Verizon, and others were boycotting Facebook as part of a Stop Hate For Profit campaign designed to spur more aggressive “content moderation.”

Supporters of censorship, such as New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, say they only want to protect people from hate speech.

“[Hate] spreads like a virus and that’s why I’m calling on the CEOs of all the social media platforms to examine their policies and to be able to look me in the eye and tell me that everything is being done that they can do to make sure this information is not spread,” Hochul said on Sunday following the mass shooting in Buffalo.

But what classifies as hateful speech is very much in the eye of the beholder, something Netflix saw with Chappelle’s comedy show.

While most audiences loved The Closer—it scored a 95 percent on Rotten Tomatoes—others saw it as transphobic hate speech, something Sarandos disagrees with.

Americans could endlessly debate whether Chappelle’s act was funny or hateful or offensive, as we could many other programs on Netflix. As a Christian, I could easily find offense at Netflix’s “Gay Jesus” parody. But the true mark of a tolerant and enlightened society—versus a dogmatic one—is the ability to speak freely, even if it is considered hateful or blasphemous to some.

“Free speech is my right to say what you don’t want to hear,” George Orwell once observed.

And that’s the beauty of it. If you don’t want to see Chappelle’s act or Gay Jesus, you don’t need to watch it. This has always been the proper response to efforts to ban “dangerous,” “hateful,” or “blasphemous” speech.

“It does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods or no god,” Thomas Jefferson once observed. “It neither picks my pocket, nor breaks my leg.”

Free expression is a healthy and good thing for everyone, but it’s especially important for artists and creators. There’s simply no way to produce good art if you’re constantly in fear of accidentally stabbing someone’s sacred cow or trying to please everyone.

Netflix, to its credit, appears to have realized this. Score that as an important win for free expression. Let’s hope other companies are paying attention.

Meet the Conspiracy Theorist Behind Twitter’s ‘Crisis Misinformation Policy’

Twitter’s pick to stop the spread of misinformation in times of crisis has a history of pushing falsehoods.

Yoel Roth, the head of Twitter’s safety and integrity unit, unveiled the site’s “crisis misinformation policy” on Thursday. In a blog post, Roth outlined how Twitter will place warning labels on tweets deemed to contain misinformation and prevent them from being “amplified or recommended” in times of armed conflict, natural disasters, or public health emergencies.

Roth is a questionable pick to launch the policy, given his own track record with misinformation. Roth oversaw Twitter’s decision to block the sharing of an October 2020 New York Post report on emails from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop. Roth told the Federal Election Commission he made the decision based on “rumors” shared by the United States government’s intelligence community that the Russian government might release materials hacked from Hunter Biden.

There has been no credible evidence that Biden’s laptop was hacked, or that Russia played a role in publishing emails from it. Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey later admitted that blocking the article was “a total mistake.”

Roth came under fire earlier in 2020 for referring to Trump officials as “actual Nazis” in a 2017 tweet. He also called Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) a “bag of farts.”

Twitter is rolling out the policy amid a period of uncertainty for the company. Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who is seeking to buy the company, has stated his opposition to censorship on the site. He has also said Twitter has “a strong left wing bias.”

The Twitter policy also comes as the federal government falters in its efforts to combat misinformation. The Department of Homeland Security scrapped its proposed Disinformation Governance Board this week following revelations that  its executive director, Nina Jankowicz, pushed conspiracy theories about both the Biden laptop and claims of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Jankowicz officially resigned her post Wednesday.

Twitter did not respond to a request for comment.

Is it time for the Motion Picture Association of America to Add a “Q” Rating?

There is a growing concern, which has turned into a national movement, to warn parents about efforts to groom their children in public school classrooms, public school media centers, by corporations like Disney, Amazon, and Apple and other publishers and distributors of books, films and TV programs.

Add to this the calls to expose misinformation, disinformation and mal-information. We are witnessing a perfect storm to expose untruths and myths in every media format.

According to a February 23rd, 2022 article on the MOVIO.co blog titled, “How Moviegoer Data, Benchmarks, And Targeting Has Shifted For 2022” Patrick Hanna reported,

The current pre-sales movie ticket purchasers are majority male (accounting for 61% of those purchases) and the majority are younger (aged between 12 and 34). Pairs and groups take the majority of these ticket purchases (84%), lending power to the notion of cinema’s pull as a social event, and a destination for friends and groups.

“Comparing the data to pre-pandemic shut down numbers, we can see a fair few similarities,” Rizzolo said. The pre-sales moviegoers were predominantly male, and that has shifted to a heavier weighting now, meaning fewer females are buying pre-sales tickets today than pre-2020. The average age of pre-sales moviegoers has also gone down significantly, from men in the range of 25 to 54 to a majority that is younger, aged 12 to 34.

“Moviegoers over the age of 55, as can be expected, are the slowest to return to cinemas.” Pre-pandemic, this audience favoured Tuesday screenings, as opposed to the Thursday and Friday screenings that make up 60% of the pre-sales majority’s purchases. That trend has solidified; older moviegoers were seeing 22% of their sessions on a Tuesday pre-pandemic, and that number is now up to 27%, with Friday sessions following at 19%.

So, the audience of movie goers in 2022 are males, pairs and groups aged 12-34 years old. A prime market shift.

History of Movie Censorship

In 1907 Chicago became the first city to regulate and censor movies. The United States Supreme Court upheld Chicago’s right to do this. In 1909, New York City, by order of Mayor George B. McClellan, closed 550 theaters because the police chief claimed that “most movie material was reprehensible.” A 1915 United States Supreme Court landmark decision firmly established that censorship could be applied to film.

The MPAA was founded as the Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America (MPPDA) in 1922 as a trade association of member motion picture companies. At its founding, MPPDA member companies produced approximately 70 to 80 percent of the films made in the United States. In 1930, the MPPDA set up the Motion Picture Production Code (also known as the Hays Code). It didn’t wield any real power until it joined forces with the Legion of Decency, an organization created by the Catholic Church  (as well as other religious organizations) dedicated to combating “objectionable material.” From that point forward, the MPPDA would only approve films that had the Catholic Church’s seal of approval. The Legion of Decency would also assign ratings to the approved films.

The MPPDA became the MPAA

In 1968 the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) established a system of movie ratings for parents to use as a guide to determine the appropriateness of a film’s content for children and teenagers. The ratings system is voluntary, and there is no legal requirement that filmmakers submit their films for rating.

In 1968 the MPAA set up a rating board that classified films as G, M, R, and X. After various changes the MPA ratings are now as follows:

  • G, for general audiences;
  • PG, parental guidance suggested;
  • PG-13, parents strongly cautioned, because film contains material inappropriate for children under 13;
  • R, restricted to adults and to children under 17 accompanied by parent or guardian;
  • and NC-17, no children under 17 admitted.

X-rated films are now considered pornography.

Should the MPAA add a “Q” to each of its ratings?

The use of and promotion of LGBTQ+ characters has grown since the release of the film The Best Man (1964), where a character, played by Shelley Berman, is accused of being homosexual. This was the first American film to use the word “homosexual”. Brock Peters played one of the first expressly homosexual characters in an American film The Pawnbroker in 1964.

Since 1964 there have been a growing number of homosexual characters introduced into films by all of the studios, from Disney, to Marvel, to Sony. Some studios like Disney have made it their goal to increase the number of homosexual characters in films and cartoons. This includes online streaming services who produce films such as Netflix, HBOMax, Hulu, Amazon Prime and others.

Given the growing concern by parents, healthcare professionals, psychologists, psychiatrists, politicians and the general public, we suggest it is time that the MPAA add a new rating. This rating is “Q.”

This is not a stand alone rating but rather a rating added to the current ratings of films as follows:

  • G-Q, for general audiences;
  • PG-Q, parental guidance suggested;
  • PG-13-Q, parents strongly cautioned, because film contains material inappropriate for children under 13;
  • R-Q, restricted to adults and to children under 17 accompanied by parent or guardian;
  • and NC-17-Q, no children under 17 admitted.

We also suggest that we have a rating of X-Q.

The Bottom Line

We recently went to see the Disney Studios and Marvel film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The film was rated PG. One of the scenes is of the parents of the Marvel character America Chavez played by Xochitl Gomez. America Chavez’s parents are two lesbians.

What message is Disney and Marvel Studios sending to Hispanic children who’s families are predominantly Catholic?

After seeing the most recent Dr. Strange film we learned that Zara Phythian, the martial arts stuntperson and actress who appeared in 2016’s Doctor Strange, and her husband, had been sentenced to eight years of prison after being found guilty of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl.

We also watched as Corporate President Karey Burke of Disney, Inc. declared that she was determined to have 50% of Disney characters be homosexuals. Watch:

It is past time for movie goers to understand what is in each film whether viewed in theatres or via online streaming services or on television.

Knowledge is power. Knowing before one goes to see a movie should be an individual choice but that choice must be based upon the truth of what the film contains. If the film contains any LGBTQ+ character or promotion of the LGBTQ+ agenda then it is up to the buyer to beware.

In the eyes of many Americans what is on the silver screen today is “reprehensible.” It is time for the Motion Picture Association of America to catch up with the valid concerns of we the people.

Better safe than sorry by warning movie goers of “objectionable material.”

How Black Education Entrepreneurs—and School Choice—Are Helping Kids

Black Minds Matter provides a national directory of over 300 black-owned schools across the country, helping to elevate their work and inspire greater education entrepreneurship.

Advocates of school choice policies that enable education funding to follow students instead of going to school systems are typically motivated by stories like that of Denisha Merriweather. The Florida tax-credit scholarship program that her family stumbled upon allowed her to escape a public school system in which she was failing and instead attend a private school where she flourished.

In my Forbes spotlight of Merriweather earlier this year, she said that school choice changed her life, and she has spent most of her adulthood advocating for expanding school choice policies. Today, she works for the non-profit American Federation for Children promoting school choice through the Black Minds Matter initiative that she founded in 2020.

Merriweather joined me on this week’s episode of the LiberatED Podcast to talk about the success of Black Minds Matter, which provides a national directory of over 300 black-owned schools across the country, helping to elevate their work and inspire greater education entrepreneurship.

Merriweather told me that these school founders, like entrepreneurs in all sectors, created their schools to solve a local problem and satisfy unmet demand. “Many of them really started because they saw a need in the community,” she said. “They wanted to change the system of education for African American students. I have a good handful of founders who were previously teachers who served in traditional public schools and they left the public school system to launch their own schools because they wanted to explore how it would feel to have an education setting that was limitless and really help their students achieve academically what they thought was possible.”

Through Black Minds Matter, Merriweather tries to galvanize support for school choice policies, including helping school founders who benefit from these school choice policies to become advocates for educational freedom. “Most of their schools are operable because of school choice programs,” said Merriweather.

She continued: “They wouldn’t be in existence if there hadn’t been a charter school law passed, a private school scholarship program passed. So many of these schools would not have been able to exist if not for education freedom. That’s why it’s important to share their stories and for them to embrace some advocacy in the fight as well, because they feel it when the teachers unions sue programs, or when President Biden puts out new regulations on federal funding for charter schools. These everyday entrepreneurs feel the impact of that when they’re just trying to help students.”

Black education entrepreneurs, along with school choice policies, are expanding learning options and enabling all families to choose the best educational fit for their children.

America Has a Crime and Mental Health Problem, Not a White Supremacy Problem

Just take a close look at the official stats compiled by the FBI.

Within hours of the Buffalo, New York, mass shooting on May 14 that claimed the lives of ten innocent black people, top Democratic officials were already citing the incident as proof that the number one social problem facing America is “white supremacy” and “white nationalism.”

The reason: the mentally ill Buffalo shooter, 18-year-old Payton Gendron, in addition to being openly racist against black Americans, also objected to unrestricted mass immigration and said so in a rambling 181-page manifesto on the subject.

The problem is, upwards of 60 percent of Americans – including Barack Obama and Bernie Sanders until about 2015 – have voiced concerns about open border policies, such as those now being openly implemented by the Biden Administration.

Favoring tighter immigration policies does not make you a potential mass shooter or a terrorist, yet that is precisely the inference Democrat Party apparatchiks – not wanting to let a serious crisis ever go to waste – were inviting the American public to draw.

The victims had not even been transported to morgues before some of these officials and media commentators began calling for the firing of Fox News TV anchor Tucker Carlson for his reporting on how demographic changes in America have impacted the political balance of the country.

The problem with the claim that the political beliefs of a criminal should result in the blanket scrutiny of everyone espousing those same beliefs – even if held by otherwise sane people – is that it is not, predictably, consistently applied.

  • In 2017, a far-left Democrat and supporter of Bernie Sanders, James Hodgkinson, opened fire on a couple of dozen Congressional Republicans during softball practice, seriously wounding Representative Steve Scalise and lobbyist Mike Mika. Yet at no point did members of the Democratic Party or the corporate media begin clamoring for investigations into the dangers of socialism or of far-left Democratic Party activism.
  • Just a year earlier, a deranged black nationalist and Black Lives Matter supporter named Micah Xavier Johnson ambushed a group of police officers in Dallas. Armed with a Saiga AK-74 assault rifle, the Afghanistan veteran was able to shoot five officers dead and wounded nine others in the deadliest incident against law enforcement since 9/11. Yet there was not a single report on CNN and NBC News calling for investigations into the openly racist ideology behind Black Lives Matter or into the black nationalism that Johnson espoused.
  • In 2019, 24-year-old Connor Betts shot and killed nine people and wounded 17 others in Dayton, Ohio – an incident the media labeled as an act of racist white supremacy. The problem was, investigations quickly revealed that Betts was an avowed Satanist and supporter of far-left Antifa who hated Donald Trump and urged all his friends to vote only for Democrats.

The truth is, when you examine crime statistics you quickly find that out that mass shootings in America are perpetrated by mentally ill people of all colors and creeds.

When news broke about a mass shooting that killed ten people last year in Boulder, Colorado, USA Today’s “race and inclusion” editor Hemal Jhaveri tweeted out, “It’s always an angry white man. Always.”

Inconveniently for the media class, it turned out the shooter was Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, a 21-year old immigrant from Syria.

Despite the claims of America’s corporate media and far-left Democrats, mass shootings are not disproportionately carried out by angry white men. In fact, just the opposite is the case.

The statistics show that mass shootings, when examined by the ethnic background of the shooter, roughly parallel the ethnic makeup of America. If anything, white men are actually slightly less likely to commit mass shootings than their proportion of the population would indicate.

When the legal blogger Eugene Volokh examined the data on the 121 mass shootings in America between 1982 and 2021, compiled by Mother Jones Magazine, he found that 54 percent of the shooters were white even though whites are actually 62.6 percent of the population.

However, 17.4 percent of mass shooters were black despite blacks being only 12.4 percent of the population, and 6.6 percent were Asians even though Asians are only 3.3 percent of the population. In other words, Asians, as a group, were two times more likely to be mass shooters than they are a percentage of the population.

For example, just one day after the Buffalo atrocity, on May 15, a Chinese immigrant named David Chou, 68, walked into a church hall in Laguna Niguel, California, and began opening fire, killing one and wounding five others, all of them Taiwanese. Chou apparently was motivated by a hatred for Taiwanese people.

The case for an “epidemic” of white supremacist violent crime becomes even weaker when you look at crime statistics generally rather than just at mass shootings. (The Mother Jones database defines a “mass shooting” as “a single attack in a public place in which four or more victims were killed.”)

According to FBI statistics, most violent crimes are not racially motivated.

Just 8 percent of the reported murders of Black people in 2017 were committed by white offenders (264 out of a total of 2,970) while 88.9 percent were committed by Black offenders (2,627). The same pattern is true of white victims: 80 percent of the 3,567 white victims of murder in 2017 were killed by fellow whites (2,861) while blacks represented 16 percent (576) of the offenders.

A similar pattern can be seen in designated “hate crimes.” Contrary to what the corporate media and Democrat activists claim, whites are not disproportionately committing hate crimes. In fact, they are significantly less likely to commit hate crimes than other groups.

According to official FBI statistics, in 2020 there were 11,549 designated hate crimes committed in the US– including 4,381 acts of intimidation, 2,433 acts of destruction of property, 2,197 acts of simple assault, 1,407 acts of aggravated assault, 22 murders or negligent manslaughter, and 12 rapes.

While whites are 62.4 percent of the overall population, they committed only 55 percent of the hate crimes (3,823), according to the FBI statistics. Blacks, who are 12.4 percent of the population, committed 21 percent of hate crimes. The rest were committed by “unknown” (16 percent), multi-ethnic (6 percent), Asian (1 percent) or Native American and Hawaiian (1 percent).

Thus, the entire media and Biden Administration narrative – that there is an “epidemic” of white supremacy and racial hate crimes – is simply not supported by the evidence.

Of course, there have been self-avowed white supremacists who are mentally ill and have gone on shooting rampages, such as Dylann Roof in 2015 and the Buffalo shooter in 2022. But there have also been mentally ill Bernie Sanders supporters who have killed dozens of people, and mentally ill Muslims who have killed dozens – such as the 2015 mass shooting in San Bernardino, California, that left 14 dead and 22 injured.

The truth is, America has a crime problem and a mental health problem, not a white supremacy problem. The media and Democrats activists are taking advantage of real tragedies in order to attack their political opponents and advance an extreme agenda the majority of Americans reject.

The School District of Philadelphia encouraged teachers to attend a conference on “kink,” “BDSM,” “trans sex,” and “masturbation sleeves.”

Last year, the School District of Philadelphia encouraged teachers to attend a conference on “kink,” “BDSM,” “trans sex,” and “banging beyond binaries.”

In early July 2021, the district’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion sent invitations to the Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference to teachers and staff on the SDP Connect mailing list, promoting the conference as a way to “learn more about the issues facing the trans community.” The conference was organized by the Mazzoni Center, an LGBTQ activist organization that has worked with the district on sexual-education programs. (When reached for comment, the School District of Philadelphia described its promotion of the conference as part of its commitment to “creating equitable and inclusive environments,” and said it did “not have any information” on the number of teachers who attended the event. The Mazzoni Center did not return request for comment.)

I have obtained videos from a publicly accessible website that show that the conference went far beyond the school district’s euphemism about “issues facing the trans community.” The event included sessions on topics such as “The Adolescent Pathway: Preparing Young People for Gender-Affirming Care,” “Bigger Dick Energy: Life After Masculinizing [Gender Reassignment Surgery],” “Prosthetics for Sex,” “The Ins and Outs of Masturbation Sleeves,” and “Trans Sex: Banging Beyond Binaries.” The conference attendees included educators, activists, adults, and adolescents. There were graphic sessions on prosthetic penises, masturbation toys, and artificial ejaculation devices, which some hosts explicitly promoted to minors. As one session host explained, “there’s no age limit, because I feel like everybody should be able to access certain information.”

The conference began with presentations promoting puberty blockers, hormone treatments, breast removals, and genital surgeries. In one session, “The Adolescent Pathway Preparing Young People for Gender-Affirming Care,” Dr. Scott Mosser, the principal at the Gender Confirmation Center in San Francisco, explained that he has performed “over two thousand top surgeries,” which involve removing girls’ breasts, and that there is no age limit for beginning the “gender journey.” “I do not have a minimum age of any sort in my practice,” he said, explaining that he would be willing to consult with children as young as ten years old with parental consent. In another session open to children, “Gender-Affirming Masculine and Feminizing Hormones for Adolescents and Adults,” Dane Menkin, divisional director of LGBTQ services at Main Line Health, endorsed treatments ranging from puberty-blocking hormones to manual breast-binding for “masculinizing” adolescent girls. “I’m a strong proponent that you can bind for as many hours a day as you can tolerate binding,” he said.

Other presentations at the Trans Wellness Conference involved explicit sexual themes. Two female-to-male trans activists, Kofi Opam, a graduate student at the University of Iowa, and Sami Brussels, a medical illustrator, hosted a presentation called “Bigger Dick Energy,” in which they explained the process of phalloplasty and using an artificial penis for “navigating cruising and anonymous/casual sex life.” Chase Ross, a transgender activist and YouTuber, hosted a series of sessions on “packers,” “masturbation sleeves,” and “prosthetics for sex,” demonstrating various devices from his collection of more than 500 genital prosthetics. “I have tried and touched many dicks, right—prosthetics, real dicks, all dicks. This is one of the most realistic feeling in terms of like the inside of a penis,” he said during one demonstration. “It’s a big boy, this is, like, gigantic. Alright, give me two hours alone and I’ll get this in my butt,” he said during another.

The most extreme presentation at the three-day conference was “Trans Sex: Banging Beyond Binaries.” Jamie Joy, a self-described “kinky,” “polyamorous,” “pretty big slut,” and Lucie Fielding, a self-described “white, queer, kinky, polyamorous, visibly able-bodied, Jewish, witchy, non-binary, trans femme” led the session. The women led a presentation on politically correct anatomical language, including terms such as “front hole” and “back hole,” and shared personal information about organizing orgies for participants to “explore their fantasies and their perversions in groups.” The instructors then discussed various “kink” activities, including fetishes about puppies, Mary Poppins, and spanking. “I haven’t gotten to explore a lot of my mommy kink. And I think for tonight I’m really wanting to feel cared for, but also get punished a little bit,” said Joy….

Elon Musk is hitting President Joe Biden and the Democrats with some reality that they are not going to like.

The Tesla, Space X and Starlink CEO has warned that the United States is economically headed the way of Venezuela by following the Democrat Party’s policies.

“I have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats, historically – overwhelmingly. Like I’m not sure, I might never have voted for a Republican, just to be clear,” he said during an episode of the All-In Podcast. “Now this election, I will.”

PRONOUN ENFORCEMENT: School district files complaint against middle schoolers

KIEL, Wis. (ChurchMilitant.com) – School administrators in the Midwest came down hard on middle schoolers for failing to comply with transgender pronouns.

The Kiel School District in Wisconsin filed a Title IX complaint against three eighth-graders who allegedly called a classmate “she/her” instead of the gender-neutral “they/them.” Title IX is a federal law prohibiting sex discrimination at schools, government agencies and other institutions.

The mother of one of the students, Rosemary Rabidoux, said she “immediately went into shock” when she got notice of her son’s “sexual harassment allegations,” saying, “I’m thinking, sexual harassment? That’s rape, that’s inappropriate touching, that’s incest. What has my son done?”

The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty (WILL) is defending the accused students. WILL said the incident occurred in April, a month after the classmate announced she would like to be addressed with “they/them” pronouns.

Rabidoux said her son Braden tried to tell the “gender-neutral” classmate it was a constitutional right to not have to address her by her proposed pronouns.

Explaining the story to local news, Rabidoux noted, “She had been screaming at one of Braden’s friends to use proper pronouns, calling him profanity, and this friend is very soft-spoken and kind of just sunk down into his chair.”

The mother continued, “Braden finally came up, defending him, saying, ‘He doesn’t have to use proper pronouns; it’s his constitutional right to not use … you can’t make him say things.'”

Rabidoux insisted her family and son were not against the LGBT community, adding, “My children have been raised to love everybody equally.”

WILL Deputy Counsel Luke Berg called the school district’s sexual harassment charge “an extreme abuse of the Title IX process.” Berg added, “It’s totally inappropriate and is totally being mishandled by the school district.”

The school district released a statement that said it “prohibits all forms of bullying and harassment in accordance with all laws, including Title IX.” The district reaffirmed it will “continue to support ALL students regardless of sex (including transgender status, change of sex or gender identity).”

In a letter to the school district, the lawyers at WILL said the complaint and investigation into the three boys is “wholly inappropriate and should be immediately dismissed.”

“The mere use of biologically correct pronouns not only does not constitute sexual harassment under Title IX or the District’s own policy, it is also speech protected by the First Amendment.”

The lawyers’ letter cited the Supreme Court case Mahanoy Area School District v. B.L. This 2021 case involved public schools and their ability to regulate student speech.

The letter said “under the law, students do not shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression, even at the schoolhouse gate.”

Social media users offered several comments on this story.

One user said, “The truly frightening thing is that Kiel is a small, rural community — it’s small-town Wisconsin. A red area in a red county. This isn’t some Dem stronghold around Milwaukee or Madison. And still, lunatic progressives have this kind of influence in the school district.”

Another Twitter account commented, “Failure to use correct pronouns is not sexual harassment, it is verbal abuse.”

WILL also took on parental rights cases in the state’s Madison and Milwaukee areas in which school districts were accused of having policies of concealing a child’s choice to “change genders.” Wisconsin is among many states where incidents involving schools and gender issues have increased in recent years.

Disinformation Czar Resigns, Board On ‘Pause’ Following Criticism She Spread Disinformation

The Department of Homeland Security put a “pause” Monday on its disinformation board after the truth czar, who resigned Wednesday, came under fire for spreading disinformation herself, The Washington Post reported.

DHS shut the board down Monday and Nina Jankowicz, who was tapped to lead the department, drafted a resignation letter Tuesday, according to The Washington Post. Jankowicz was reportedly pulled into a meeting late Tuesday night, however, with officials giving her the chance to stay on as the department determines whether to move forward with the highly polarized board. Jankowicz formally resigned Wednesday, according to The Washington Post’s Taylor Lorenz.

The decision comes as Jankowicz faced extreme backlash for pushing disinformation.

Jankowicz attempted to discredit the Hunter Biden laptop story as a “Trump campaign product” while speaking to ABC News in 2020. During the second presidential debate, Jankowicz posted that President Joe Biden cited “50 former natsec officials and 5 former CIA heads that believe the laptop is a Russian influence op.”

The laptop was authenticated by several outlets including the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Jankowicz also claimed the now-discredited Steele Dossier was funded by Republicans in a 2017 tweet.

She also expressed concern about Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter and what would happen if “free speech absolutists were taking over more platforms.”

Jankowicz also said in 2021 the GOP is made up of “disinformers” who “have seized on” issues like Critical Race Theory to spread “disinformation.”

A DHS spokesperson defended Jankowicz in a statement to The Post.

“Nina Jankowicz has been subjected to unjustified and vile personal attacks and physical threats. In congressional hearings and in media interviews, the Secretary has repeatedly defended her as eminently qualified and underscored the importance of the Department’s disinformation work, and he will continue to do so.”

The DHS announced the creation of the Disinformation Governance Board in April to counter what it considers misinformation and disinformation, particularly disinformation coming from Russia and misleading rhetoric about the U.S.-Mexico border. DHS Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas has fended off criticism of the board, recently saying the “board does not have any operational authority or capability.”

Big media outlets are doing backflips after the Buffalo shooting trying to convince you the Great Replacement theory is just a right-wing conspiracy.  NPR is going all out, doing 18 one-sided propaganda pieces on it since the shooting.  There’s just one problem – several, actually.  A number of Left-wing activists and politicians have openly talked about replacing the existing American population with third-worlders to create a permanent political majority for the Democrats.  The Great Replacement is the admitted goal of an actual left-wing conspiracy, not a fantasy of the Right.

Senator Dick Durbin trumpeted the changing demographics of the country in a floor speech and how all the new voters were moving away from the Republican Party.  Democrat operatives talked openly at a 2019 conference about working to make demographics ‘destiny’ to amass power for their party.  The Leftist Center for American Progress said in 2013 that “[s]upporting real immigration reform that contains a pathway to citizenship for our nation’s 11 million undocumented immigrants is the only way to maintain electoral strength in the future.”  Left-wing Salon wrote in 2008 the growing Hispanic population turned New Mexico blue and would establish a permanent lock on the White House for Democrats.  Similar comments have been made by other Democrat politicians and in the pages of the left-wing Los Angeles Times and New York Times.  Democrats never miss an opportunity to celebrate demographic change.

So don’t tell me the Right is just imagining things.  The gaslighting by NPR and others is not appreciated.  Not when newly obtained government documents show Joe Biden knows his border policies are enriching the human smuggling cartels and endangering the United States.  And not when no other satisfactory explanation has been offered for the numerous policy changes the Biden administration has instituted to open the border, numerous policy changes I’ve compiled and documented in previous commentaries [Daily Skirmish – 4/28/22].   The only other explanation that’s been attempted – prioritizing ‘Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’ – smacks of racism and aligns closely with Great Replacement.    So if you’ve got an alternate explanation for why the Biden administration keeps taking steps to open the border despite all the problems they know it’s causing, let’ hear it.  I’m all ears.  I first asked for an alternate explanation half a year ago [Daily Skirmish – 10/14/21), but nobody has given me one.

Speaking of problems, there are fresh reports of untrammeled illegal immigration overwhelming border towns, threatening the safety of border farmers, bringing more drugs into the country, fueling the overdose crisis, and allowing terrorists to walk free inside the country.  You’d think all this would be enough to get a sane administration to reverse course but, in the twisted mind of the Biden administration, all is going according to plan.  They hate the country as currently constituted and are trying to destroy it.  This is why illegal aliens get baby formula and panicked ordinary Americans can’t find any.

The numbers are staggering – one and a half million illegal aliens have flooded the country since January, including 100,000 who were released into the country in April.   No wonder Arizona is busing illegal aliens to D.C., just like Texas.  Texas Governor Greg Abbott said his state might challenge the Supreme Court decision giving free public education to all illegal alien children.  Growing public discontent finally got Sweden’s political elite to reverse course and admit open immigration drains resources and causes crime.  It’s too much to hope that a frank recognition of the problems will get the Biden administration to reverse course, not when Great Replacement is the plan.  I put more hope in the idea new arrivals can eventually be convinced the Democrats are the wrong choice.  Sound impossible?  A number of stories have appeared recently about the Democrats losing support among Hispanics over inflation, crime, religion, and other issues.  Democrats seeking a permanent political majority by opening the borders are chasing a mirage.  There are no permanent victories in politics.

The Diversity Narrative Is Against the Law

Three cheers for equal protection of the law. Agitators pushing the Left’s phony diversity narrative just got doused with reality.  They’re finding out that a lot of what they want to do violates the Equal Protection clause of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot had wanted to grant one-on-one interviews to “black and brown” journalists only, because the evil white people are oppressors.  After she got sued for violating equal protection of the law, she doubled down, saying she “absolutely” would continue discriminating. Well, the case just got settled, with the Mayor backing down completely, agreeing to drop her racist policy against white journalists.

California had wanted to mandate women be given a certain number of corporate board seats, because assuring equal outcomes for women is the important thing, even if we have to beat people into submission to achieve it.  A California judge just struck down the gender quota because it violates equal protection.  The judge ruled the state failed to prove women had been the victims of actual discrimination, thus taking direct aim at one of the principal tenets of the diversity faith:  that everyone should be tarred and feathered to assure equal outcomes even if they didn’t do anything wrong.  The diversity nuts believe the whole system is rotten – systemic racism, systemic sexism, blah, blah, blah – and this judge is saying, ‘sorry, not good enough, you actually have to prove your case.’

Separate dorms and separate graduation ceremonies for every stripe of the rainbow are all the rage on campus these days but, guess what, they’re illegal.  A U.S. civil rights official warned two colleges that segregated graduation ceremonies for Black, LGBTQ, and other minority students violate federal anti-discrimination laws.  Imagine if white students insisted on their own graduation ceremony.  People would be up in arms, and rightly so.  I have a dream that, one day, every graduate will be able to attend a single, non-divisive, nondiscriminatory graduation ceremony.

Staying on campus for a moment, Texas had a law requiring out-of-state students to pay higher tuition than illegal aliens residing in Texas.  A federal judge used equal protection principles to knock down the state law.  A federal law specifically bars states from giving illegal aliens any postsecondary education benefits that are not offered to U.S. citizens on equal terms, including citizens from other states.  The judge ruled the federal law preempted the Texas law, dealing another blow to the phony diversity narrative which mindlessly holds we must hand our country over to illegal aliens because we’re so guilty of whatever.

That guilt trip is what’s motivating leaders in the medical field to toy with the idea of dispensing medical services on the basis of race, as I mentioned yesterday.  It all goes back to what used to be called ‘compensatory equal protection’ which, as applied in this context, means white people got the best care in the past so other people should be compensated with the best care now, no matter who is sick today.  That kind of thinking is on full display in Utah, where public health officials were warned dispensing COVID drugs based on race was illegal, but did it anyway with the Biden administration cheering them on.  The state health officials didn’t even bother getting a legal review, but just plowed ahead.  Well, you can have compensation, or you can have equal protection, but you can’t have both at the same time; ‘compensatory equal protection’ is an oxymoron.

The phony diversity narrative has a blind spot when it comes to race and sex that blanks out all other considerations, including equal protection of the law.  The exclusion of all other values is what makes the diversity narrative fundamentally crazy.  It will not endure.  Other values will reassert themselves, as equal protection of the law is now.  Eventually, rationality will carry the day, a balance between competing considerations will be restored, and the race hustlers pushing the poisonous Woke garbage to line their own pockets will have to find another gig.

You want to compensate disadvantaged groups for past injustices?  Find another way.  Just don’t misuse the government or the law to do it.
