The Enemies Within: Ryan, Rubio, McCain and Graham funded by George Soros

There have been many articles written about George Soros and his collectivist activism. Discover the Networks has published a comprehensive list of 187 organizations funded by Soros and his Open Society Institute who are actively working against President Donald J. Trump.

Some of these groups have actively opposed candidate and now President Trump. Some of these Soros organizations have funded the recent levels of violence and chaos via the group “Refuse Fascism” in Berkeley, California. Many of the groups favor: open borders, amnesty, giving illegals voting rights, Muslim migration and social justice over the rule of law. All are aligned against President Trump and his policies.

We now learn that Soros’ tentacles have ensnared key Republicans.

In a column titled “Records: Soros Fund Execs Funded Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, John McCain, John Kasich, Lindsey Graham in 2016” Breitbart’s Matthew Boyle reports:

Employees of a hedge fund founded by the king of the Institutional Left, billionaire and Democratic Party mega-donor George Soros, donated tens of thousands of dollars to top Republicans who fought against President Donald Trump in 2016, donation records compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics show.

[ … ]

But more importantly, perhaps, than the unsurprising giant lump sums of cash funneled into Democratic Party and Clinton coffers is the revelation thanks to the Center for Responsive Politics that employees of the Soros firm—now run by his son Robert Soros—pumped tens of thousands of dollars into the campaigns of top anti-Trump Republicans over the course of 2016.

In total, executives with the Soros-founded company pushed $36,800 into the coffers of these GOP candidates just this past cycle.

[ … ]

The biggest recipient of Soros-connected cash in the GOP was none other than House Speaker Paul Ryan, who repeatedly attempted to undermine Trump over the course of the election. According to the records available online, the Soros firm’s workers gave $10,800 to Ryan. Included in that are two separateMay 2, 2016, donations from David Rogers, a then-employee of Soros Fund Management who lives in New York City. Rogers left the Soros Fund Management firm right around that time.

In a column titled “Mrs. Janna Little Ryan: A Liberal running the show from the family kitchen table?” Geoff Ross writes:

The marriage between a man and a woman is a mutual political-spiritual co-joining of forces and ideologies including love. The man will support and encourage his wife and the wife her husband.

So to fully understand a man and or a woman in their decision making processes one must first understand that its a team effort working together for the good of the family unit. This includes all external decision making processes too. A solid marriage will have the man supporting the wife’s decision’s and vice versa.

So if you are scratching your head and rubbing your rabbit foot in an expression of confusion and lack of understanding of Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and his blatant liberal agenda and decision making processes all you have to do is look into his family unit. Then you will learn that he supporting his wife’s ideology. As a man should and probably to remain in good graces in a supportive marriage.

Paul Ryan is married to Janna Little a liberal, left wing progressive, anti-Constitutional, big government George Soros supporter who voted for Barack Hussein Obama twice.

Ross noted Paul Ryan’s ex-flame and last love of his life before getting married to Janna Little was his ex-girl friend and black American Democrat Daneeta Pope. She too voted for Obama twice and also supports his Communist Agenda.

The Daily Mail’s Belinda RobinsonEmily Anne EpsteinToby Harnden and Hugo Guy in 2012 reported:

Paul Ryan’s African-American college sweetheart has spent time in prison for wire fraud, it emerged today.

Deneeta Pope hit headlines after MailOnline revealed that she was the Republican vice-presidential candidate’s ex-girlfriend who opened his eyes to the evils of racism.

She served five months in prison after defrauding her employer Ernst & Young out of $77,000 in 1999, according to the federal Bureau of Prisons.

Ms Pope admitted claiming funds from work to attend an educational course which did not exist.

Mr Ryan has stayed in touch with his ex over the two decades since they broke up – he even attended Ms Pope’s wedding in May this year.

There are enemies within the Republican Party.

They call themselves moderates but they are anything but moderate. They are a “shadow party” funded by George Soros. Their ideology is to be politically correct career politicians who supported and funded everything former President Obama wanted. They failed to stand up against him then and are now dragging their collectivist feet to delay President Trump’s agenda.

Their names are Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, John McCain, John Kasich, Lindsey Graham.

Georgetown University scholar calls for ‘public uprising’ to overthrow Trump

Georgetown’s Nathan Lean is a supreme example of how academia has become a radioactive desert of hard-Left indoctrination and opposition to the freedom of speech. He is supposedly an expert on “Islamophobia,” which really means that he is an expert on character assassination of those whom he deems “Islamophobes.”

Nathan-Lean-public-uprising

A longtime foe of the freedom of speech, Lean has dedicated his life to defaming and lying about anyone and everyone who dares to utter a critical word about the religious ideology that guides Islamic jihadists and incites them to commit mass murder. His targets have included Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Maajid Nawaz and me, and in every case, Lean plays fast and loose with the facts, cheerfully purveying falsehoods even when he has been shown that they are false (the images are gone from that old post, but it still conveys the substance), so desperate is he to clear away all obstacles to the advance of jihad terror. Not content to defame his targets over their opposition to jihad terror, he stalks them elsewhere: I was scheduled to speak several years ago at an education conference that had nothing to do with Islam, but Lean mounted a defamation campaign that intimidated a cowardly Catholic bishop, Jaime Soto, to cancel the event (it was held at another location) because of my work on Islam.

Lean is not content to spread lies about those whom he hates; he is also the lowest kind of thug, and has repeatedly tweeted out links to what he thinks is my home address and places that I frequent (he was wrong in both cases, but that’s beside the point), in an obvious attempt either to frighten me into silence or to signal to his jihadi friends and allies where I can be found and killed. He is an expert, practiced hater — a look at his Twitter feed shows that he regularly revels in crude and vicious abuse of those who dare to say the slightest negative word about the Religion of Peace. As he claims to be opposing “haters,” he is easily one of the most hateful individuals I have ever encountered in my entire life.

And now he has shown his true colors. This is sedition. Will Georgetown University continue to employ someone with such contempt for the Constitution and the rule of law? Of course they will, because the Saudis remunerate them handsomely.

FLASHBACK: Remembering the African family reunification MORATORIUM that began in 2008

Someone reminded me that in all of the yakking about the power of the President when it comes to determining which refugees (how many and from where) entering the U.S., the U.S. State Department in 2008 halted all family reunification (the so-called P-3 program) from Somalia and a few other African countries.  Why?

Random DNA testing found widespread FRAUD.  The so-called family members were lying about who was family!

Over 20,000 African ‘refugees’ are believed to have entered the U.S. fraudulently in a period beginning in October 2003 and ending when the fraud was uncovered in 2008. They claimed family relationships that were found to be false.

They were making up “ghost children.”
somalis-in-mn

We first saw the news at the Wall Street Journal in 2008, here.  Then we followed the drama as the refugee contractors (among others) tried to stop the State Department from requiring DNA tests for all family reunification.

Here is a post I wrote in 2015 with several important links to follow to understand what happened leading up to the FOUR YEAR moratorium on Somalis being able to apply for their ‘family’ members to join them in your home towns!

For ambitious readers, click here for one of my earliest posts in 2008 with updates.

Be sure to read the fact sheet published by the DOS at the time (you will see it in its entirety here).

In recent years, applications to the P-3 program have been overwhelmingly African – primarily Somalis, Ethiopians and Liberians – accounting for some 95% of the P-3 applications.

Then this:

The rate of fraud discovered varies among nationalities and from country to country, and is difficult to establish definitively as many individuals refused to submit DNA samples. We were, however, only able to confirm all claimed biological relationships in fewer than 20% of cases (family units). The remainder contained at least one negative result (fraudulent relationship) or refused to be tested.

This is what I said based on the numbers:

95% of immigrants using this program are from Africa.  36,000 alone came in the years since 2003 and as high (or higher!) than 80% of those are most likely here illegally.

As far as we know none of the fraudulent entrants were identified and removed.
The President through his Department of State does have the power to selectively block certain ethnic groups from entering the US.

I followed the issue closely and I never saw the mainstream media question the Administration’s right to stop these groups of so-called ‘refugees.’

Citizen on President Trump: ‘I think he’s doing a lot, every day I’m turning on CNN to see what he did & who he pissed off’

They may not be protesting in the streets, but voters in towns seeing their communities transformed by refugees almost overnight, support Donald Trump’s efforts to rein-in immigration from certain countries.

No time to thoroughly analyze both reports, but here is a bit of the story from Lewiston, Maine where many residents are happy with President Trump’s temporary slowdown of refugees from certain countries.  I don’t know this guy, but he speaks common sense, and I know exactly how he feels about watching CNN!

From Maine Public Radio:

Somali refugees in Lewiston, Maine. (AP Photo/Robert F. Bukaty)

I think he’s doing a lot,” says Jim Nelson. “Every day I’m turning on CNN to see what he did and who he pissed off.”

Nelson says he voted for Trump and he’s happy he did. He says doesn’t always like how the president acts, but that Trump is quickly fulfilling campaign promises.

That includes the president’s recent travel ban, which affects immigrants from seven countries, including Somalia.

“This country was made on immigrants. I mean, that’s exactly why the United States exists. We’re a melting pot. We can’t lose sight of that,” Nelson says.

But he says he’s truly mystified by the local protests sparked by Trump’s order.

“On the front page of yesterday’s paper you got this little girl crying, and she’s a Somalian (sic) and she can’t see her grandmother, and ‘Oh, my God.’ You know, she can’t see her grandmother for six months. What about the people that got blown up down in Florida? What about those people? They can’t ever see their people again.” Nelson says.

More here.

We have a huge archive on Lewiston, see here.

Faribault, Minnesota:

Here is the Minneapolis Star Tribune about reactions in Faribault, another small city being overloaded with Somali refugees.  By the way, the population of Faribault was 23,594 in 2014, and Lewiston was 36,299 in 2014 (it had lost 293 residents since 2010, wonder why?).

FARIBAULT, MINN. – In her years of selling burgers and omelets in the heart of downtown Faribault, Janna Viscomi has seen changes she never expected.

[….]

For Viscomi, the new travel ban ordered by President Donald Trump that suspends refugee resettlement for 120 days and blocks entry for 90 days for citizens of seven predominantly Muslim countries comes as mostly welcome news.

jennie-o

Jeenie-O plant which employs Muslim refugees

“I think slowing things down would be good,” she said this week, taking a short break after the lunch rush. “I don’t want to see families separated, but in the other regard, there needs to be somebody saying, ‘Hey, Let’s breathe here. Let’s breathe.’ ”

Reporter then describes pro-immigrant rallies in big cities. (Faribault is Trump country as was Lewiston on November 8th!)

Yet in other places, such as Faribault, the move has been welcomed by residents who feel the cost and pace of immigration is too much too fast. Trump won Faribault’s precincts with 50.4 percent of the vote in November, compared with 41.5 percent for Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Faribault, like other small- to medium-sized cities throughout Minnesota in recent years, has seen its mostly European ancestry make room for new arrivals from Cambodia, Laos, Mexico, Central America and Somalia.

And, of course, like much of Minnesota we see Somalis are supplying the cheap labor for BIG MEAT!

In many places, it’s the food processing plants that draw immigrants eager for work. It’s no different here, where the Jennie-O Turkey Store operates.

See our previous post on the welfare costs of refugee resettlement.  Somalis are among the greatest users of welfare including benefits provided at the state and local level.

So next time you are tempted to say that you want your meat to be cheap, remember it isn’t! Your tax dollars for refugee welfare subsidize the meat industry!

What happened at the George Soros funded Solidarity-with-Mosques Day?

Leo Hohmann (author of the best selling book ‘Stealth Invasion) tells us here at World Net Daily. See my post on their plans here a couple of days ago. And, see what I said here (below)!

Hohmann at WND:

‘Christian’ activists head to mosques to resist Trump

A national coalition with ties to George Soros was behind a national day of “solidarity” with Muslims Friday that included rallies at airports and prayer vigils at mosques.

NPNA-Logo-Color-600x400The National Partnership for New Americans sponsored a “day of action” to protest Donald Trump’s 90-day moratorium on travel from seven countries – Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Sudan and Yemen – which the groups are calling “unconstitutional” and a “Muslim ban.”

The NPNA was funded with a $200,000 grant from Soros’ Open Society Foundations in 2011.

Friday’s action is to be followed up by another on Feb. 22 when the NPNA coalition plans to flood congressional offices with protesters at the district level, sending an army of advocates for immigrants and refugees.

But Friday’s event was no ordinary protest. Many non-Muslims entered mosques and joined Muslims in the Jummah prayer, which is the most heavily attended prayer of the week at mosques around the world and widely referred to as the “Friday call to prayer.”

Some of the secular and ostensibly Christian activists posted on social media that they felt “inspired” to join in the prayers to Allah.

One mosque that attracted ‘Interfaith’ supporters yesterday was  the Islamic Society of Western Maryland!

At some mosques, such as the Islamic Society of Western Maryland in Hagerstown, visitors observed Islamic gender rules.

This was reported by the Hagerstown Herald Mail:

“We are extremely grateful and appreciative for this show of concern,” Faruq Post, the society’s resident scholar, told the men, women and children, who were asked to segregate by gender. Most women covered their heads with scarves.

By the way the Herald Mail story says 100 were in attendance, but never tells us how many were regulars at the mosque. Three from the INTERFAITH group are quoted.

The NPNA coalition includes a large swath of the interfaith movement in America – a blend of Christian, Muslim and Jewish groups – teaming up with immigrant rights activists.

Federally-funded refugee contractors were involved in organizing the solidarity event.

Hohmann continues….

Allying themselves in this project with Muslim groups such as CAIR and the Council of Muslim Organizations are various Christian organizations such as Church World Services, the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, World Relief and others involved in the resettlement of refugees in the United States. These volunteer agencies, also called VOLAGs, are paid $2,050 for every refugee they resettle in America, with more than half of that fee flowing into their coffers and the balance going to the refugee. [For new readers it was Church World Service subcontractor, the Virginia Council of  Churches that brought refugees to Hagerstown in 2007 and inspired me to write this blog!—ed]

[….]

These groups present themselves as charitable advocates for the downtrodden when in fact the vast majority of their budgets are funded by federal grants, not donations by church members.

“It’s not charity if you are taking other people’s money by force, through public tax dollars, and using it to do what you consider to be the Lord’s work,” says Ann Corcoran, who follows the refugee industry and blogs at Refugee Resettlement Watch.

[….]

“They will whine about refugees but when you look at this list and know what they are planning, it is open borders they are really pushing for—illegals, legal immigrants, it is all the same to them,” wrote Corcoran. “In fact, on the call they said they would link their national policy agenda to emotions by using individual refugee sob stories. Refugees as pawns for their radical political agenda?”

As of Friday there were 14 states and the District of Columbia listed as hosting rallies in support of Muslims. Cities on the list included Chicago, New York, Nashville, Los Angeles, Miami, Greensboro, North Carolina; Fairfax and Alexandria, Virginia; Reading, Pennsylvania; Billings, Montana; Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; Silver Spring and Hagerstown, Maryland; and Boise, Idaho.

The Hagerstown Herald Mail could never bring itself to write about allegations made in 2009 in ‘Muslim Mafia’ even though CAIR has never been able to prove any of the information is false having been taken directly from documents CAIR had warehoused.

WND’s story continues…..

One of the participating mosques that welcomed non-Muslim supporters to join it for Friday prayers was the Islamic Society of Western Maryland in Hagerstown. This mosque was identified as having connections to radical Islamic elements in the undercover investigative book “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That’s Conspiring to Islamize America” by David Gaubatz and Paul Sperry.

The FBI was investigating this predominantly Pakistani mosque for suspicious activity in 2004 and the imam immediately brought in a CAIR lawyer Shama Farooq to help coach him on how to answer the investigators’ questions.

To learn what happened, continue here.

As we know well, citizens have every right to support mosques and organize protests, but when it comes to federally- funded organizations possibly using tax dollars to do it then we have every right to demand an accounting.

By the way, Esam Omeish former head of the Muslim America Society (a Muslim Brotherhood spin-off group) is a member of this mosque. Look what he said in Hagerstown in 2008:

In a sermon during Monday’s holiday prayer service, Omeish encouraged Muslims to establish themselves and break new ground where they live in much the same way Abraham is said to have founded monotheism in Arabia.

Yahya Hendi has spoken here as well. See what Hendi told the Saudis in 2007. Why would Muslims be pushing for the election of Muslim mayors across America? If they are here to assimilate why do they need Muslim mayors?

DOJ to defend Trump’s executive order on immigration

The showdown over President Trump’s executive order on immigration continues. District Senior Judge James Robart of Seattle has issued “a nationwide restraining order” to block Trump’s order, which restricts immigration from seven Muslim countries – countries selected by the Obama administration — suspends refugee admission for 120 days, and ban Syrian refugees indefinitely.

Lee Gelernt, the lawyer who successfully argued for a restraining order against Trump’s so-called “ban” in federal court in Brooklyn, New York, stated:

The courts have and will continue to recognize that this executive order favors Christians and disfavors Muslims and that is antithetical to American values and flatly inconsistent with the United States Constitution.

This erroneous comparison between Christians and Muslims aims to stir up division and once again reveals the myopia of leftists and the the anti-Trump camp. The reason for the Trump immigration policy is solely national security. How many Christians have been infiltrating the refugee stream for the purpose of murdering Westerners? How many Christians have been raping and sexually assaulting non-Christian Western women and girls all across Europe? How many Christian migrants have been committing crimes and wreaking havoc to the tune of the 46 billion dollars that German and European taxpayers now have to fork over to fix?

There is no discriminatory intent about the Trump order. At worst, it can be described as a drastic measure in a crisis. This obvious point was addressed by White House press secretary Sean Spicer, who said in a statement:

The president’s order is intended to protect the homeland and he has the constitutional authority and responsibility to protect the American people.

“White House: DOJ plans to defend Trump’s immigration ban”, by Melanie Eversley, USA Today, February 3, 2017:

U.S. District Senior Judge James Robart of Seattle on Friday issued a nationwide restraining order blocking the travel ban put in place by President Trump last week.

Trump’s ban, created through an executive order, sought to block people from seven majority-Muslim countries from entering the United States.

In issuing his decision, Robart was siding with Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson, who filed a suit to block key provisions of the president’s executive order, which also bars Syrian refugees from entering the country.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer released a statement Friday night saying the Department of Justice would seek an emergency stay of this “outrageous order.”

“The president’s order is intended to protect the homeland and he has the constitutional authority and responsibility to protect the American people,” Spicer said in the statement.

Statement by the Press Secretary:
At the earliest possible time, the Department of Justice intends to file an emergency stay of this order and defend the executive order of the President, which we believe is lawful and appropriate. The president’s order is intended to protect the homeland and he has the constitutional authority and responsibility to protect the American people.

As the law states, “Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

Washington state Gov. Jay Inslee, a Democrat, hailed Ferguson and applauded the decision.

“We should feel heartened by today’s victory and more resolute than ever that we are fighting on the right side of history,” the governor said in a statement. “Thank you to (Attorney General Bob Ferguson) and his team for making the case that no person – not even the president – is above the law.”

Amnesty International also applauded the development.

“This decision is a short-term relief for thousands of people whose lives have been upended, but Congress must step in and block this unlawful ban for good,” organization spokesman Eric Ferrero said in a statement. “Trump’s Muslim ban is in humane, unlawful, and discriminatory, which is why the courts and the public want it to be stopped.”

Ferguson said his team has been working around-the-clock for the last week on reversing the executive order.

“It’s obviously an historic decision and an important one for the rule of law and for the people of the state of Washington and the people of our country. I have said from the beginning: it is not the loudest voice that prevails in the courtroom, it is the Constitution, and that’s what we heard from Judge Robart today.”

The decision is effective immediately nationwide, Ferguson said.

A lawyer with the national office of the American Civil Liberties Union said the decision was significant.

“The decision in Washington reaffirms that the courts will stand up to the president,” said Lee Gelernt, the lawyer who successfully argued for a restraining order against Trump’s ban in federal court in Brooklyn, N.Y.

“The courts have and will continue to recognize that this executive order favors Christians and disfavors Muslims and that is antithetical to American values and flatly inconsistent with the United States Constitution.”….

How to Drain the Judicial Swamp

It’s no surprise the Democrats plan to fight against the nomination of President Trump’s Supreme Court pick, 10th Circuit Court of Appeals judge Neil Gorsuch. There are no confirmation battles like Supreme Court confirmation battles because, as we always hear, such a decision can “shape the country for a generation.”

This doesn’t sound like the role envisioned by the founders. As Alexander Hamilton wrote in The Federalist No. 78, the judiciary is (theoretically) the “least dangerous” branch of government because it “has no influence over either the sword or the purse.” So how have the courts been afforded so much power?

“Afforded” is the word. In reality, the judiciary has become the most dangerous branch due to ignorance and congressional abdication of responsibility.

Conservatives often complain that the courts thwart the people’s will, act unconstitutionally and impose their own biases via judicial fiat. A good example is the 2015 Obergefell v. Hodges decision dictating that states must recognize faux (“same-sex”) marriage. What most don’t know is that Congress could long before have prevented the courts from weighing in.

Article III, Section 2 of the Constitution grants Congress the power to limit the jurisdiction of federal courts below the Supreme Court and the appellate jurisdiction of the latter. In other words, Congress could simply have prevented federal courts below the SCOTUS from ruling on marriage (and other issues) to begin with and the SCOTUS from reviewing lower-court decisions on those issues. This would, essentially, have left marriage where it belongs: in the states.

Why was this not done?

Cowardice.

Congress would’ve had to take a firm stand on a contentious issue and perhaps suffer electoral consequences. It’s easier for politicians to just puff up their chests, complain of judicial overreach, then throw up their hands and say “The courts have ruled — there’s nothing we can do.” Few today understand the Constitution, so who will argue?

Congress also has the power under Article III to eliminate any and every federal court except the SCOTUS. For example, it could have sent the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit — known for insane rulings and as the nation’s “most reversed” court — packing long ago. It certainly would make judges mind their p’s and q’s, too, if they knew acting unconstitutionally could mean their jobs.

Again, though, this would require Congress to take a stand. Besides, if it actually did so and drained the judicial swamp, what could Congress blame for divisive political outcomes? The transgressing courts would be gone and the remaining ones chastened, and judges would more often leave issues (e.g., abortion, marriage) in the legislature’s hands, putting politicians on the hot seat. Can’t have that. Federal judges don’t have to be reelected — congressmen do.

Yet this is why courts are going rogue. How can there be a balance of power in our system, as the founders intended, if one branch refuses to exercise its power?

The kicker is that accepting the courts’ current role is not only misguided, but, according to Thomas Jefferson, makes our Constitution a “felo de se” — a suicide pact.

Jefferson was warning of judicial supremacy, the idea that courts have the power to determine what law means and thus constrain not only their own branch, but the other two as well. Why did this bother Jefferson?

The legislature’s power to create law and the executive branch’s power to enforce it are granted by the Constitution. But what of judicial supremacy?

It is nowhere to be found in the Constitution.

Rather, this “power” was declared by the courts themselves, most notably in the Marbury v. Madison decision in 1803. Talk about circular reasoning: The SCOTUS has trump card power….

Because the SCOTUS says so.

The result? The Supreme Court was only meant to be supreme among courts. Instead, in a government supposedly of, by and for the people, five lawyers can determine what law means for 320 million Americans.

With Trump poised to transform the SCOTUS, conservatives may say that now isn’t the time to question its power. But Republican judicial nominees have often disappointed. Moreover, draining the swamp is fine, but if we want the right kind of governmental revolution, perhaps we should start by listening to the revolutionaries who created our government.

The Stench of Identity Politics

In an article titled “On Race & Identity Politics” David Warren writes, “the battle against multiculturalism should have been joined the moment the stench of identity politics was detected.”

Warren notes:

Most wars don’t start soon enough. This is one of my little reflections on history. That’s why they go on too long. Had the “allies” (whomever gentle reader might choose, for the war he finds most enthralling) had the foresight to strike earlier, they might have wrapped it up quickly. Instead, they dawdled (sloth is a sin), giving the enemy more time to prepare. Advantage: bad guys.

We have seen the growing stench of identity politics spread like a weapon of mass destruction across America.

Identity politics takes many forms. The most recent manifestations are:

  1. Gender identity (LGBTQ)
  2. Radical religious identity (Islam)
  3. Racial identity (Black Lives Matter)
  4. Alt-left political identity (Democrats as the party of Marx, Mohammed and Manning)

Identity politics leads inextricably to the stifling of freedom of speech.

For example if you believe in natural law or the biological and scientific terms male and female you are homophobic. If you are a Christian and Jew and question the written tenets of Islamic (shariah) laws then you are Islamophobic. If you happen to be born white then you are privileged and by definition a racist who must feel forever guilty and pay reparations for all past injustices. This idea gives one race preference over many other races who have been persecuted in America including white indentured servants, Asians during WWII and today whites who have been denied admission to certain institutions of higher learning solely based on their race and not their qualifications.

In the video below of the Democratic National Committee Chair Debate, candidate Sally Boynton Brown told the Democrats in the audience “my job is to shut white people down.” The Democrats in the room and on the platform cheered Brown, who is white, for hating white people in general and herself in particular.

Self loathing contributes to the stench of identity politics.

In terms of political philosophy if you believe in the U.S. Constitution (an Originalist) and the Bill of Rights (Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness) then you are all of the above plus misogynistic and a Nazi. Being for life from birth to natural death is anti-woman’s right to choose to murder her unborn child. A child that by consent, or in a few instances not, must be killed, according to the Sierra Club to control population in the name of saving the environment. In the video below Director of Sierra Club Michael Brune declares abortion is good for the environment through population control:

If you temporarily restrict individuals from certain countries coming to the United States for national security reasons, then you are anti-Muslim and anti-immigration. The argument is that America is a land of immigrants and our values demand we allow people to migrate because it is the “just” thing to do. Warren points out:

We are often told that America is “a land of immigrants.” This is dangerously untrue.

Regardless of race, color, or creed, the overwhelming majority [of Americans] was born here, of parents also born here. They are not immigrants, or, if we are going to look back farther, everyone in the world is an immigrant from our distant nomadic past, and the long universal history of tribal then national conquests. [Emphasis added]

The hypocrisy is that the same countries listed in President Trump’s Executive Order ban anyone with a Jewish passport, stamp or visa from entering their country there is silence. Why? Because identity politics places one religion over another.

Identity politics is all about discrimination. Discrimination against Christians, Jews, white males, white females, straight males, straight females, motherhood and those who hold a power to the people philosophy of government, like President Trump.

Warren concludes:

We now see precisely the opposite of what that memorable Christian, Martin Luther King, Jr. fought for – enshrined as principle in one of the country’s major political parties, and advanced by its “base” in the most noxious form.

From abroad, and even from many places within, it is as if the United States were now descending into another destructive civil war – curiously with Trump cast as Lincoln. But the battle should have been joined from the moment that the stench of identity politics was detected.

We must judge individuals by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin. As President Trump said in his inaugural speech, “When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice.”Identity politics is un-patriotic.

In a column titled “It’s God or the Gulag” James H. Toner  writes:

A nation is doomed when it celebrates diversity while denying – either explicitly or implicitly – the enduring truths that, at least once upon a time, united that nation. Not for nothing did Lincoln famously embrace the wisdom of Mark 3:25 that a house divided against itself cannot stand.

We should remember that time when our nation was truly divided. Let us not make the same mistake twice. Let us not allow history to repeat itself.

Trump: Taking Australia’s imprisoned refugees ‘worst deal ever’ like sending U.S. the ‘next Boston bombers’!

We’ve been telling you about the rotten deal Obama made with Australia that doesn’t benefit the US one bit ever since it surfaced, here, November 4th. (One more Obama dirty deal left behind for Trump!)

detention-nauru

Australian open borders protests here in Melbourne in 2016.

In a rare show of strength on any issue involving refugees, the Chairmen of the House and Senate Judiciary Committees came out against the deal here a couple of weeks after Trump was elected.

But, just a couple of days ago we heard Australian Prime Minister Turnbull telling his media that the deal would be honored by President Trump.  Now we are hearing the Administration’s side of it!

Australia has its leftist open borders agitators too. They want the offshore detention facilities closed.

Before I give the latest news which I caught on CNN first thing this morning (remember I suggested you might want to watch CNN once in awhile because then you can see for yourself how they spin about news you know something about).

Here is what I know and you need to know as this continues to blow up today:

Australia does take refugees (CNN said this morning that they don’t!), but the Australian public doesn’t want these migrants (mostly Muslim men!) who tried to get into Australia by boat.  They were sent to detention on offshore islands where they failed to be granted asylum to live in Australia.

The Australian public does not want them and Turnbull is trying to save his political skin while human rights activists agitate and blast him from one side and the sensible Australian people from the other.

These are illegal migrants who failed to gain asylum in Australia! Australia doesn’t want them. Why are they our problem?

And, what are we getting from the deal? Supposedly Australia will take a number of Central American migrants parked in Costa Rica right now.***  So why are those people our problem?

To top it off, one of my Australian readers is saying that many of the 1,000-2,000 (numbers vary) in detention don’t want to come to “Donald Trump’s America” anyway!

Here is the news this morning, hat tip Judy:

President Trump reportedly blasted the Australian Prime Minister during a phone call between the leaders of the two longtime allies.

Trump told Australian leader Malcolm Turnbull that the conversation was “the worst call by far” among talks with various world leaders that day and ended the scheduled hour-long conversation after just 25 minutes, according to The Washington Post.

Trump was reportedly incensed that the Prime Minister expected him to abide by an Obama administration agreement to take in 1,250 refugees from Australia.

“This is the worst deal ever,” Trump told Turnbull in the call, adding that the country was trying to send the “next Boston bombers” into the US.

Trump was “yelling” at Turnbull during the call, according to SKY News in Australia, and the US president hung up the phone on him after 25 minutes.

Trump continued to rail against the refugee deal in a tweet sent Wednesday night.

“Do you believe it? The Obama Administration agreed to take thousands of illegal immigrants from Australia. Why? I will study this dumb deal!” Trump tweeted.

Here we get the New York Post continuing the lie that these are ‘refugees.’  If they are legitimate refugees they are Australia’s problem!

The deal, however, includes refugees and not “illegal immigrants,” as Trump claimed.

[….]

The refugees in the agreement have fled Iraq, Iran, Sudan and Somalia. They have been living in facilities on islands off the coast of Australia.

NOTE: This business of using refugees as pawns in political deals must stop.  In April 2012 I first testified to the U.S. State Department and gave ten reasons why there needed to be a moratorium on refugee resettlement and this is #7:

7)   Congress needs to specifically disallow the use of the refugee program for other purposes of the U.S. Government, especially using certain refugee populations to address unrelated foreign policy objectives—Uzbeks, Kosovars, Meshketians and Bhutanese (Nepalese) people come to mind.

So come on Congress, get to work! We know you are hiding behind Trump!

Be sure to let Donald Trump know how you feel about the Australia deal today!  Click here!

Why Democrats are declaring war on Trump: They’re terrified

In a panic over their unexpected losses in November, Senate Democrats have declared war on Donald Trump.

It’s not just Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer’s (N.Y.) pledge to filibuster the new Supreme Court nominee, Neil Gorsuch, before his name was even announced, although that was indicative of a dangerous new tone that I have never witnessed in 30 years of covering Washington politics.

In just the second week of the Trump administration, Schumer announced that America was “on the cusp of a constitutional crisis.” Why? Because the president fired an Obama political appointee serving as acting attorney general after she refused to carry out a lawful order.

Forget the fact that every president has the right to appoint his own people to executive branch positions, or that the listing of these well-defined positions is known as the “Plum book.”

Forget the fact that Bill Clinton fired all 93 U.S. attorneys when he took office in 1993, replacing them with his own political picks.

Democrats have entered a zone where facts don’t matter; even actions don’t matter. Whatever this president does, they will oppose. Why? Because this is war.

Listen to the words chosen yesterday by Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.), the ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, in his floor speech announcing his opposition to Rex Tillerson as the Secretary of State.

Cardin’s main beef with Tillerson was that he “demonstrated business orientation in his responses to questions during the confirmation hearing.”

Now, that should not come as a surprise to the good Senator, given that for his entire career, Mr. Tillerson has been a businessman — and a very successful one, at that.

American history has many examples of businessmen serving as secretaries of State or secretaries of War with great success. Think George Schultz or Henry Stimson.

But for Cardin, that was enough. In fact, that was his only direct criticism of Tillerson. He immediately pivoted to name-calling and invective.

“The first 10 days of the Trump administration shows that the president is intent on compromising our values, abandoning our allies,” Cardin declared on the Senate floor Tuesday, calling Trump’s executive orders the sign of an “unstable, reckless foreign policy.”

He then accused unnamed individuals in the new administration of mounting “a willful, dangerous campaign … to bend or potentially even break the law.”

Tillerson, he claimed, was likely to be “another ‘yes’ man, enabling the risky, chaotic whims of a demagogue president,” who Cardin claimed was engaging in “hate-mongering.”

Calling the president a “demagogue” after just 10 days in office is extraordinary. These are not normal terms of senatorial discourse. And if you had watched the good senator on C-SPAN, he seemed at times on the verge of apoplexy or tears.

And yet, I am sure that many Democrats reading this will agree with Sens. Schumer and Cardin. Some have already compared Trump to Hitler.

What explains the unusual vitriol?

I believe it stems from the inability of many Democrats to accept their defeat in November, or to understand that the people of mainland America — that heartland between California and New York — overwhelmingly rejected their elitist vision and collectivist values.

During the campaign, Donald Trump made a number of specific promises to the American people. Over the past 10 days, he has been fulfilling them one by one and the Democrats are tearing out their hair, because they know what this means for 2018.

Democrats are terrified that Trump will succeed. They are terrified that his border wall will stem the tide of illegal immigration and dramatically reduce the flow of illegal drugs into this country.

They are terrified that his temporary ban on refugee resettlement that empowers Customs and Border Patrol agents to devise a more rigorous vetting process will keep America safe.

They are terrified that he will defeat the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria and forge stronger ties with Arab nations such as Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia who are on the front lines of that fight.

They are terrified that key European countries will turn to the right in this year’s elections, rejecting the new world order ruled by an unelected globalist elite.

They know that if Trump succeeds, as they fear, he will sweep the U.S. Senate and they will become a dwindling minority party representing the globalist, high-tech elite and an army of pajama boys based on the two coasts.

Democrats are going to war because their schemes have been exposed and they fear they are about to lose their jobs.

I hope everyone in the White House is wearing body armor by now, because this is going to get much worse.

Do You Lock Your Door at Night?

If you have an open mind, and want to analyze the travel ban from one professional perspective, read on.  If not, close your mind – at our nation’s peril.

What is the travel ban?  You may try to read it before you judge it.

Summarized, the U.S. government will not allow travelers from 7 countries of “particular concern” into the United States – Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Yemen, and Sudan for 90 days.  All refugees are halted for 120 days, Syrian refugees indefinitely.

Why? To evaluate the post 9/11 vetting processes required to enter the U.S., in order to protect U.S. citizens from violent extremist attacks.  Questions that must be addressed:  1. Is there a threat? Is there weakness in the system? 2. How can we make us safer?

The Obama administration labeled 3 of these countries as states sponsors of terrorism – Iran, Syria and Sudan. With the exception of Iran, each of the countries has a failed central government or is locked in deadly civil war.  Obama ordered attacks on 6 of them.

Is there a threat?  Sophisticated and well-resourced Islamic extremists, including ISIS and Al Qaeda, are fighting on their territories.  Thousands of men, women and even children have planned, trained and sworn oaths to kill Americans as a religious duty.  Their numbers have grown exponentially in the last 7 years – while we tried to be accepting.  It is not easy to distinguish the fighters from the innocent.

Is there a weakness? As a former Counter-Terror professional, Intelligence Officer and Security Assistance Officer at multiple US Embassies, I can say with high confidence that the visa system still has weaknesses.  The system still depends on people.  People make mistakes.  A few are corrupt.

According to the 9/11 Commission report, the attack plotters submitted 23 visa requests, 22 were approved.  Only two terrorists were actually interviewed, and a single consular officer issued 11 of the 19 hijackers’ visas.  The commission believed that without these visas, the plot would have likely failed.

After the devastation of 9/11, the visa process changed dramatically.  It now depends on much improved information sharing and cooperation among many federal agencies, foreign governments, DHS Visa Support Units (VSUs), data bases and biometrics.  Many of my U.S. State Department friends, government bureaucrats, and vocal partisan activists defend the process, and say we owe people entry.

However, the system depends on the effectiveness of the intelligence community.  It depends greatly on cooperation with the traveler’s host nation government to provide accurate information, background checks and criminal histories.  And finally, it rests on the consular officer who issues the visa.  The complex system is only as good as the data collected, and the people involved.

These 7 states have either supported terror, or have very weak institutions torn by war.  The U.S. doesn’t have effective relations with their police, intelligence or military. No one is taking biometric scans of every teenage ISIS fighter, or female jihadists.  Often a State Department junior officer, doing his or her mandatory one-time consular tour, approves a visa.  For these places of concern, the consular is probably not even in the applicant’s home country.

Consular officers are fallible; a few are convicted of fraud and corruption. Cut every year.  My wife’s former boss, Pat Raikes, the senior consular in Beirut just before 9/11, traded airline tickets for visas.  In 2015, Michael Sestak, pled guilty to trading over 500 visas for more than $3 million. Prior to the Foreign Service, Sestak was a police officer, Federal Marshall, and Navy Intelligence Officer.  Apparently Shayna Steiner, the Foreign Service Officer who issued those 11 hijackers’ visas, still works for the Department of State.  She may not be a criminal, maybe a good person – but she made mistakes that cost thousands of lives.

The intelligence community missed 9/11 (2,996 killed, 6,000+ wounded.)  Good people missed clear terror ties to the San Bernardino shooters (14 killed, 22 wounded.)  FBI agents interviewed, investigated and released the ISIS aligned Pulse Nightclub shooter – twice (49 killed, 52 wounded), and the recent Ft. Lauderdale shooter (5 killed, 6 wounded.) The FBI knew of the Boston bomber (3 killed, 264 wounded.)  US Army Major Nadal killed 14 soldiers after openly briefing other Army psychologists on his growing animosity and fundamentalist awakening.  In each of these cases, the system failed.  Good people missed it – or were too arrogant, incompetent, or in fear of politically-correct retribution to act.

Every consular knows applicants lie, even if they are not terrorists.  Good people will say anything to get to America.  You can bet trained ISIS or Al Qaeda fighters will lie better.  It is hard to sort the innocent from the evil.  Ultimately the system rests on the competence and personal judgments of thousands of dedicated but imperfect people, often with flawed data.  The vast majority of our people are fantastic professionals, but Americans pay dearly for the bad ones and the mistakes.

How can we make us safer?  We must listen to what we don’t want to hear, and wish wasn’t true – accept that many religious fundamentalists want to destroy America, whether you believe it is America’s fault or not.  Accept that we have weaknesses and can improve our system. Accept that our elected government has the fundamental responsibility to protect all U.S. citizens, and our constitution above all else – not foreign citizens or failed states.

We should demand reviews like this one.  We must update our processes continually.  We must ensure our good people are alert and accountable, or we guarantee another 9/11, Boston or San Bernardino.  If our enemies have their way, the next attack will be much worse.

We should protect our borders and enhance our safety, just as we lock our doors when we know there is danger.  Leaving your door open doesn’t keep bad guys away, it invites them in.

Why we don’t want to be Angela Merkel’s Germany

merkel-and-obama

Angela Merkel with former President Obama

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has been admired by the globalists (and Islamists!) for her welcome to hundreds of thousands of African and Middle Eastern migrants, so this is a reminder of why we must continue to press the Trump Administration and Congress to not emulate her!

Merkel is up for re-election this year, so this is likely her effort to look tough!

Story this morning from the UK Express:

16 suspected ISIS jihadis ‘plotting terror attacks’ arrested in 54 German raids

GERMAN counter-terrorism police have carried out a whopping 54 raids on a group of alleged Islamic State supporters believed to be plotting an attack, authorities have said.

The raids were carried out at 3am GMT (4am local time) in the western state of Hesse and targeted 16 alleged would-be jihadis.

Businesses, homes and mosques were targeted in the raids in Frankfurt, Darmstadt and Wiesbaden.

The main suspect of the sting operation is a 36-year-old Tunisian man who has been arrested during a raid in Frankfurt.

Democrats Determined to Stop Trump from Defending America

President Trump’s executive orders on the Mexican border and the temporary ban on immigration from seven countries that are hotbeds of jihad terror have the Left in an uproar that increases in hysteria by the minute, proving once again that the Left will be satisfied with national suicide and national suicide only – not anything less.

What has the Left so enraged is a simple declaration of an intention to protect and defend the United States. Trump’s executive order states that it is designed “to protect the American people from terrorist attacks by foreign nationals admitted to the United States.” How dare he! It adds: “The United States must be vigilant during the visa-issuance process to ensure that those approved for admission do not intend to harm Americans and that they have no ties to terrorism.”

It’s racism! The Nation published an article entitled, “How to Fight Trump’s Racist Immigration Policies.” Bigotry! The Detroit Free Press editorialized: “Immigrant, refugee ban reflects fear, bigotry.” Islamophobia! Vox informed us that “Trump says his refugee ban is about protecting America. It’s really about Islamophobia.”

Here is the substance of that racism, bigotry and Islamophobia, straight from the executive order:

The United States cannot, and should not, admit those who do not support the Constitution, or those who would place violent ideologies over American law. In addition, the United States should not admit those who engage in acts of bigotry or hatred (including “honor” killings, other forms of violence against women, or the persecution of those who practice religions different from their own) or those who would oppress Americans of any race, gender, or sexual orientation.

So acting to prevent people who have no intention of obeying American law and approve of honor killings, other violence against women, and the persecution of non-Muslims and gays is such an outrage that Leftists have begun nationwide protests. Meanwhile, in response to a lawsuit from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), federal judge Ann Donnelly on Saturday night issued an emergency stay, barring U.S. officials from deporting people who were being detained at airports. According to CBS News, “the order barred U.S. border agents from removing anyone who arrived in the U.S. with a valid visa from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen. It also covered anyone with an approved refugee application.”

However, it didn’t cover those who had not yet made the trip. The Department of Homeland Security announced on Sunday morning that it would “continue to enforce all of President Trump’s Executive Orders in a manner that ensures the safety and security of the American people. President Trump’s Executive Orders remain in place—prohibited travel will remain prohibited, and the U.S. government retains its right to revoke visas at any time if required for national security or public safety. President Trump’s Executive Order affects a minor portion of international travelers, and is a first step towards reestablishing control over America’s borders and national security.”

Trump wasn’t backing down, either, despite the Left’s treating this executive order as if it were the second coming of Auschwitz and Dachau. White House chief of staff Reince Priebus defended the executive order on Sunday on “Face the Nation”: “This is not a Muslim ban. All this is is identifying the seven countries — and the reason we chose those seven countries is those were the seven countries that both the Congress and the Obama administration identified as being the seven countries that were most identifiable with dangerous terrorism taking place in their country. You can point to other countries that have similar problems like Pakistan and others — perhaps we need to take it further. But for now, immediate steps, pulling the Band-Aid off, is to do further vetting for people traveling in and out of those countries.”

Priebus added: “This was a promise that President Trump had made and it’s a promise that he’s going to keep. And he’s not willing to be wrong on this subject — we need to do our best to be vigilant and protect Americans.”

That is what makes President Trump, after just over a week in office, the recipient of even more hatred from the Left than George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan. And they’re just getting started.

Trump Protects U.S. — World Enraged

President Trump’s executive orders to build a Mexican border wall and to place a temporary ban on immigration from seven hotbeds of jihad terror have the national and international Left — and its jihadi allies — in an uproar.

How dare he move to protect American citizens?

French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said, during a meeting with German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel, that both countries were “concerned” about Trump’s immigration policies:

Welcoming refugees who are fleeing war is part of our duty … his decision can only cause us concern.

A “duty”? According to whom? Wasn’t protecting Ayrault’s own citizens from jihad terrorists known to be entering France among the “refugees” his duty? All of the jihadis who murdered 130 people in Paris in November 2015 had just entered Europe as refugees.

France apparently found jihad less distasteful than vetting refugees; France now has the option it chose.

Mayor Michael Müller of Berlin pontificated:

We Berliners know better than most the pain caused when a whole continent is split by barbed wire and walls. … I call on the president of the USA not to go down that road to isolation and ostracism.

Müller’s statement has been widely circulated and greeted with joy — among the clueless Left, which is acting as if it opposed the Berlin Wall when it was up. They did not.

Remember?

Ronald Reagan declared: “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”, and they recoiled in horror.

For the young leftist millennials, apparently there wasn’t time in high school to learn about East Germany. They were instead learning the U.S. was founded by white male slave-owners and has a history of oppression, racism, and imperialism. Today’s self-righteous Left largely doesn’t know or care that the Berlin Wall was constructed by a totalitarian Leftist government to keep people in, not out.

The mayor of Berlin — he, of all people, should know better — is putting globalist Leftism above the safety of his own people.

Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani jumped in on the phony Berlin Wall theme, too. Rouhani tweeted:

Let’s help neighboring cultures, not build walls between nations. Let’s not forget what happened to the #BerlinWall.

Unlike the Berlin Wall, Trump’s wall is simply a national security initiative. Perhaps Rouhani, whose regime has ordered its citizens to chant “Death to America” every week in their mosques, shouldn’t have helped create a security threat. With his tweet, note that Rouhani has an obvious vested interest in opposing any step the U.S. takes to defend its citizens.

According to CNN, Iran says it now will:

… ban all U.S. citizens from entering the country in response to President Donald Trump’s executive order limiting immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries.

Who else already had a Spring Break flight booked to Tehran? Guess I’ll hit my second choice, Mogadishu.

While Iran has a great history, as I explain in my book The Complete Infidel’s Guide to Iran, the Islamic Republic of Iran is so repressive and authoritarian — and so hostile to the United States — that American citizens would be foolish to go there.

People who have family in Iran will be hit by Iran’s ban, and that is unfortunate. But there is a grown-up choice to make here — we’re choosing between death and inconvenience. We can inevitably admit terrorists to the United States, or we can inconvenience good people for a temporary period. France chose the former.

Others to be hard-hit by Iran’s new ban are the likes of Carl Ernst, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill pseudo-academic. His work on Islam is so whitewashed, so fawningly apologetic, so complete in its denial of the jihad doctrine and Sharia oppression, that he was given an award in 2008 by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad — the genocidal anti-Semite who was at that time president of Iran.

Ernst happily flew to Tehran to accept. The incident was emblematic of how much American academia has degenerated.

The Iranian government’s statement said Trump’s ban was “an obvious insult to the Islamic world and in particular to the great nation of Iran.” Why is it an “obvious insult to the Islamic world” when the U.S. takes steps to defend itself from jihad terrorism? Because any defensive move taken by a non-Muslim entity is always seized upon by Islamic supremacists and jihadis as food for propaganda, which they produce when calling the defensive move an “unprovoked” act of aggression….
