Victory! TikTok Takes Fighting Exploitation Seriously with New Updates

Once known as a “hunting ground for predators,” the wildly popular short-form video app TikTok has transformed itself into a model of fighting sexual exploitation and abuse on its platform.

Featured on NCOSE’s 2020 Dirty Dozen List for rampant grooming and exploitation children and on the 2021 DDL for highly sexualized content, TikTok has instituted a series of such sweeping and significant changes this past year that in many areas it now serves as an industry standard for online child safety. They’ve defaulted most safety settings for minors, removed high-risk features (like direct messaging) for 13–15-year-olds, is the only app that has pin-protected caregiver controls, and has instituted the most robust Community Guidelines we’ve seen for any corporation. They’ve also started released their Transparency Report on a quarterly basis (versus every 6 months) to increase their own accountability.

And they’ve kept up the trend.

New TikTok Changes Fight Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

Last Friday (July 9), TikTok announced that it will automatically remove “violative content” such as videos showing nudity or sexual activity or threating minor safety. TikTok’s current process uses technology to identify and flag potential violations for further review by their Safety Team. In the announcement, Head of US Safety Erin Han explains that in the US and Canada over the next few weeks, TikTok will begin using technology to a greater extent to automatically remove content upon upload in areas where it has the highest degree of accuracy: minor safety, adult nudity and sexual activities, violent and graphic content, and illegal activities and regulated goods. Uploaders are notified if their video has been removed and can appeal the decision. Repeat offenders will suffer increasingly heightened penalties, including being permanently banned. This move shows a genuinely proactive effort by TikTok to implement their Community Guidelines for the good of their users, rather than merely having them on paper to protect their own liability.

TikTok Paves the Way for Big Tech 

Aside from the obvious win that this policy is likely to dramatically reduce the number of people (including minors) subjected to sexually explicit material, this move yet again has TikTok moving the needle on what can and SHOULD be expected of Big Tech:

Recognition of Harm (to viewer and their own employees)

TikTok explicitly stated that reviewing the type of content outlined (minor safety, adult nudity and sexually explicit material, etc.) can be distressing to their employees, showing a recognition that this content can be harmful to both adults and children.

While human moderation is still necessary in many cases, automated removal will further protect their Safety team from the potential negative emotional and psychological effects that many such content moderators suffer. This change exemplifies an empathy and care for their employees that does not seem to be the norm in Big Tech—it’s the first time we’ve seen a tech company explicitly note an improvement being made to protect their staff. It also seems to be a smart business move to use technology in a way that frees up a greater number of their human reviewers to address more “nuanced” content.

Erring on the Side of Safety

One of my colleagues posted a TikTok video about the harms of OnlyFans and due to this new policy, it was quickly removed (especially significant, because NCOSE has called out TikTok for the vast number of videos promoting OnlyFans and we’ve asked them to prioritize removal as it’s such a dangerous site—especially for minors).

At first, we were frustrated, but after brief reflection we cheered. She was able to appeal the removal and it was back up in no time.

Why did we cheer? Because we’d love to see more online platforms err on the side of removing potentially violative material rather than allowing it to proliferate while putting the onus on users (including minors) to report harmful material after they’ve already been exposed to it. A quick appeals process is possible—and we hold that if something is worth posting, then it’s worth the users time to appeal for the greater good of elevated safety measures.

Let’s be clear, there is still a lot of problematic material on TikTok. We found several OnlyFans-related videos with a quick search. And we also know this approach can backfire if there isn’t a swift appeals process. Survivor leaders and other allies have shared that their material is often blocked or removed on other platforms due to the nature of their work and the appeal process goes nowhere, effectively silencing their voices on social media. But if TikTok can prioritize this and figure out a way, then larger, more resourced tech companies should be able to as well.

Creativity and Entertainment Without Exploitation

TikTok’s mission is to “inspire creativity and bring joy.” The announcement reiterated their commitment to bringing together a “diverse, global community fueled by creativity” that can “express themselves creatively and be entertained in a safe and welcoming environment.”

Too many individuals and corporations have bought into the myth of our pornified culture that nudity and sexually explicit content are not only acceptable but necessity for any type of medium to be entertaining. TikTok is rejecting the notion that exploitation is entertainment.

TikTok not only hosts influencers, but with nearly a billion active monthly users, TikTok is an influencer in itself. Young and older people alike do take note when platforms legitimize—or don’t—certain cultural messages (as popular as they may be). We applaud TikTok for being vocal in its values and in making a concerted and genuine effort to foster the environment they claim to seek.

We hope to see greater use of technology by TikTok and other tech companies to combat, rather than perpetuate, sexual abuse and exploitation in all areas of their platform (content, comments, messaging, etc.)… and to err on the side of removal, protect the well-being of their users and employees, and to reject the notion that nudity and sexually explicit content is entertainment.

Senate Democrats will reportedly ram through a $3.5 trillion spending bill that will “enact the full array of President Joe Biden’s social welfare” agenda without any bipartisan support in a Senate that is split 50-50.

“The proposal sets an overall limit of $3.5 trillion for the spate of Democratic policy ambitions that won’t make it into a bipartisan infrastructure deal, if Congress can reach one,” Politico reported. “Formal text of the Senate’s budget resolution has yet to be released. If that measure can clear both chambers with lockstep party support, it will unleash the power to circumvent a GOP filibuster using budget reconciliation, the same move that Democrats used to pass the president’s $1.9 trillion pandemic aid package in March.

The move comes as Biden has continued to see his approval ratings slide, especially among Democrats, who want him to be more radical in ramming through his agenda. The news comes as inflation has skyrocketed in recent months, driven in large part by the massive government spending from the Biden administration.

GA Election Expert Uncovers 35,000 Potential Illegal Votes Cast, – Trump Only Lost by 12,670

In the months following the 2020 election, the state of Georgia made headlines for its razor-thin election results, as well as some dubious practices that called those results into question.

In an attempt to quell those fears, Georgia initiated both an audit and a statewide recount of the election results. In both cases, officials said the results confirmed now-President Joe Biden’s victory.

Yet, according to a report Friday in The Federalist by senior contributor Margot Cleveland, Georgia was still the scene of violations of “various legislative mandates designed to prevent fraud and to ensure the integrity of the vote.”

First, Georgia has a law requiring residents to cast their vote in the county where they reside unless they changed their residence during the 30 days directly prior to the election.

Atlanta election lawyer Jake Evans told Cleveland that if Georgia residents who moved to a new county more than 30 days before the election had voted in the county where they previously resided, “their vote in that county would be illegal.”

Cleveland also interviewed Mark Davis, president of the Duluth, Georgia-based marketing firm Data Productions Inc. and a voter data analytics expert, who has conducted an unofficial audit of the Georgia votes in November.

Davis researched data from both the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office and the National Change of Address database, which is maintained by the United States Post Office, and found almost 35,000 Georgians moved to new counties but voted in their old county, according to Cleveland’s report.

Davis said some of those moves could have been temporary, meaning the votes would still be legal. But, Cleveland noted, “approximately one-third of the votes at issue could have altered the outcome of the election.”

In addition, Davis dove even deeper into the numbers and confirmed the number of disputed votes was approaching the threshold needed to flip the results

“When Davis ran the data, he found that, of the approximately 35,000 Georgians who indicated they had moved from one county to another county more than 30 days before the November general election, as of May, more than 10,300 had updated their voter registration information, providing the secretary of state the exact address they had previously provided to the USPS,” Cleveland reported.

“Those same 10,000-plus individuals all also cast ballots in the county in which they had previously lived.”

In other words, the moves were not the kind of temporary relocations that would have made those votes legal.

“Davis’s data proves significant because critics of Trump’s challenge to the certification of Georgia’s election results framed the NCOA information as either unreliable or of an insufficient magnitude to cast the outcome of the election in doubt,” Cleveland wrote. “But by updating their voter registration information with the same address as contained in the NCOA database, the voters themselves have established the reliability of that information.”

Davis told Cleveland the number of those cases was continuing to increase and he had “little doubt” they would eventually reach the 12,670-mark that gave Biden the victory over then-President Donald Trump in Georgia.

“Under Georgia law, a judge can order an election be redone if he or she sees there were enough illegal, irregular, or improperly rejected votes to cast the results of the election in doubt, or if they see evidence of ‘systemic irregularities,’” Davis told Cleveland.

While this evidence does not confirm Trump actually won Georgia — there’s no way of knowing which candidate the votes in question were cast for — it does revive questions about the November vote that have never been adequately addressed, such as why the pro-Biden mainstream media has such little curiosity about real, documented problems with the 2020 vote, and why courts have been reluctant to get involved.

VIDEO: The Many Faces of the BDS Movement

Omar Barghouti founded the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement in July 2005 after becoming a founding committee member of the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) in 2004 (PACBI joined the BDS campaign in 2005). He also co-founded the Palestinian Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions National Committee (BNC) in November 2007.

The BNC leads and supports the BDS movement and, according to Barghouti, “sets the overall strategies, the objectives of the movement.” Barghouti has expressed support for terrorism, promoted anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and regularly demonizes Israel. He opposes the Jewish right to self-determination and Israel’s existence, openly calling for its destruction as a Jewish state.

Biden Admin: We’re ‘Flagging Problematic Posts’ For Social Media Platforms, Tracking Vaccine ‘Misinformation’

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki admitted on Thursday that the administration is contacting Facebook and telling them what posts that it deems to be “problematic” based on what the administration claims is “misinformation.”

“This is a big issue of misinformation, specifically on the pandemic. In terms of actions, Alex, that we have taken or we’re working to take I should say from the federal government, we’ve increased disinformation research and tracking within the Surgeon General’s office,” Psaki said.

“We’re flagging problematic posts for Facebook that spread disinformation. We’re working with doctors and medical professionals to connect to connected medical experts … who are popular with their audiences with accurate information and boost trusted content. So we’re helping get trusted content out there.”

WATCH:

U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy issued an advisory earlier in the day and claimed at the press conference that “we live in a world where misinformation poses an imminent and insidious threat to our nation’s health.”

Murthy’s advisory said that tech companies can:

  • Assess the benefits and harms of products and platforms and take responsibility for addressing the harms. In particular, make meaningful long-term investments to address misinformation, including product changes. Redesign recommendation algorithms to avoid amplifying misinformation, build in “frictions”— such as suggestions and warnings—to reduce the sharing of misinformation, and make it easier for users to report misinformation.
  • Give researchers access to useful data to properly analyze the spread and impact of misinformation. Researchers need data on what people see and hear, not just what they engage with, and what content is moderated (e.g., labeled, removed, downranked), including data on automated accounts that spread misinformation. To protect user privacy, data can be anonymized and provided with user consent.
  • Strengthen the monitoring of misinformation. Platforms should increase staffing of multilingual content moderation teams and improve the effectiveness of machine learning algorithms in languages other than English since non-English-language misinformation continues to proliferate. Platforms should also address misinformation in live streams, which are more difficult to moderate due to their temporary nature and use of audio and video.
  • Prioritize early detection of misinformation “super-spreaders” and repeat offenders. Impose clear consequences for accounts that repeatedly violate platform policies.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal policies and practices in addressing misinformation and be transparent with findings. Publish standardized measures of how often users are exposed to misinformation and through what channels, what kinds of misinformation are most prevalent, and what share of misinformation is addressed in a timely manner. Communicate why certain content is flagged, removed, downranked, or left alone. Work to understand potential unintended consequences of content moderation, such as migration of users to less-moderated platforms.
  • Proactively address information deficits. An information deficit occurs when there is high public interest in a topic but limited quality information available. Provide information from trusted and credible sources to prevent misconceptions from taking hold.
  • Amplify communications from trusted messengers and subject matter experts. For example, work with health and medical professionals to reach target audiences. Direct users to a broader range of credible sources, including community organizations. It can be particularly helpful to connect people to local trusted leaders who provide accurate information.
  • Prioritize protecting health professionals, journalists, and others from online harassment, including harassment resulting from people believing in misinformation.

PODCAST: Take ‘The 1776 Pledge’ To Save Our Schools

During the recent CPAC meeting held last weekend in Texas, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem (R) was one of the conservative speakers (7/11/21). During her talk, she made a passing reference to “The 1776 Pledge to Save Our Schools.” Being unaware of the pledge, I decided to look it up. It was developed by a group called, “1776 Action,” an organization dedicated to “Stopping the Anti-American Indoctrination of our Children and Grandchildren.”

I am told, this is a by-product of the “1776 Commission” as established by President Trump to support “Patriotic Education.” The Commission was quickly dissolved following the inauguration of President Biden.

There are actually two pledges listed in the “1776 Action” web site; one for citizens and one for candidates, such as school board members.

CITIZEN PLEDGE

As a citizen, I believe that:

  • The United States of America is an exceptional nation whose people have always strived to form a more perfect union based upon our founding principles.
  • Our Founding Fathers – including George Washington and Thomas Jefferson – as well as leaders like Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass and Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. were among the greatest Americans to ever live, and they deserve to be honored as heroes.
  • Our children and grandchildren should be taught to take pride in their country, to respect our founding principles of liberty and equality, and to have a sense of American history that is both truthful and inspiring.
  • Civics education should focus on the serious study of our founding documents and principles – not coerce students into engaging in extracurricular political action on behalf of contemporary policy positions.
  • Our young people should be taught to view one another not according to race or gender, but as individuals made in the image of God.
  • Teaching children to hate their country and each other is immoral and deeply harmful to our society and must be stopped.

THEREFORE, I PLEDGE to help replace elected officials, school board members, education commissioners, principals, deans, and university presidents who promote a false, divisive, and radical view of America and our fellow citizens with new leaders who respect our history, our values, our rights, and the God-given dignity of every person.

CANDIDATE PLEDGE

THEREFORE, I PLEDGE to the voters of (enter District/location name) that I will take concrete steps to do the following in our K-12 public schools:

  1. Restore honest, patriotic education that cultivates in our children a profound love for our country.
  2. Promote a curriculum that teaches that all children are created equal, have equal moral value under God, our Constitution, and the law, and are members of a national community united by our founding principles.
  3. Prohibit any curriculum that pits students against one another on the basis of race or sex.
  4. Prevent schools from politicizing education by prohibiting any curriculum that requires students to protest and lobby during or after school.

Frankly, I see nothing wrong with either pledge as this is how things worked years ago when I went to school. In essence, it is a throwback to another era.

As I interpret the pledges, this is obviously a reaction to today’s perception of academia which appears to be more interested in indoctrination as opposed to education. Case in point: a Virginia school district who recently came under fire for allegedly teaching Critical Race Theory (CRT) and promoting transgender policies. Other school boards are also coming under fire for similar policies. Not surprising, attendance at school board meetings by concerned parents are increasing dramatically across the country, thereby denoting the politics involved.

If all citizens and School Board members signed these simple pledges, it might very well quell the uproar at such meetings. Then again, if they do not, the intensity may increase. It is simply a matter of whether you agree with the pledges or not. As for me, I agree.

No, Fidel Castro Didn’t Improve Health Care or Education in Cuba

Cuba has made less educational and health care progress than most Latin American countries over the last 60 years, data show.

On CBS’s 60 Minutes, Senator Bernie Sanders recently praised the achievements of communist Cuba. An interviewer asked him about his 1985 comments that Cubans supported communist dictator Fidel Castro because he “educated their kids, gave their kids health care, totally transformed society.” In response, Sanders defended those comments, by stating that when “Fidel Castro came into office, you know what he did? He had a massive literacy program.”

But Castro did not give Cubans literacy. Cuba already had one of the highest literacy rates in Latin America by 1950, nearly a decade before Castro took power, according to United Nations data (statistics from UNESCO). In 2016, the Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler debunked a politician’s claim that Castro’s rule significantly improved Cuban healthcare and education.

In today’s Cuba, children are taught by poorly paid teachers in dilapidated schools. Cuba has made less educational progress than most Latin American countries over the last 60 years.

According to UNESCO, Cuba had about the same literacy rate as Costa Rica and Chile in 1950 (close to 80 percent). And it has almost the same literacy rate as they do today (close to 100 percent).

Meanwhile, Latin American countries that were largely illiterate in 1950—such as Peru, Brazil, El Salvador, and the Dominican Republic—are largely literate today, closing much of the gap with Cuba. El Salvador had a less than 40 percent literacy rate in 1950, but has an 88 percent literacy rate today. Brazil and Peru had a less than 50 percent literacy rate in 1950, but today, Peru has a 94.5 percent literacy rate, and Brazil a 92.6 percent literacy rate. The Dominican Republic’s rate rose from a little over 40 percent to 91.8 percent. While Cuba made substantial progress in reducing illiteracy in Castro’s first years in power, its educational system has stagnated since, even as much of Latin America improved.

Contrary to Sanders’ claim that Castro “gave” Cubans healthcare, they already had access to healthcare before he seized power. Doctors frequently provided free healthcare to those who couldn’t afford it. As the Washington Post’s Glenn Kessler noted:

As for health care and education, Cuba was already near the top of the heap before the revolution. Cuba’s low infant mortality rate is often lauded, but it already led the region on this key measure in 1953-1958, according to data collected by Carmelo Mesa-Lago, a Cuba specialist and professor emeritus at the University of Pittsburgh.

Cuba led virtually all countries in Latin America in life expectancy in 1959, before Castro’s communists seized power. But by 2012, right after Castro stepped down as Communist Party leader, Chileans and Costa Ricans lived slightly longer than Cubans. Back in 1960, Chileans had a life span seven years shorter than Cubans, and Costa Ricans lived more than two years less than Cubans on average. In 1960, Mexicans lived seven years shorter than Cubans; by 2012, the gap had shrunk to just two years.

(Today, life spans are virtually the same in Cuba as more prosperous Chile and Costa Rica—if you accept the rosy official statistics put out by Cuba’s communist government, which many people do not. Cuba has been credibly accused of hiding infant deaths, and exaggerating the life spans of its citizens. If these accusations are true, Cubans die sooner than Chileans or Costa Ricans).

Cuba has made less progress in health care and life expectancy than most of Latin America in recent years, due to its decrepit health care system. “Hospitals in the island’s capital are literally falling apart.” Sometimes, patients ”have to bring everything with them, because the hospital provides nothing. Pillows, sheets, medicine: everything.”

As The Washington Post’s Kessler noted:

Reporters have also documented that Cuban hospitals are ill-equipped. A 2004 series on Cuba’s health-care system in Canada’s National Post said pharmacies stock very little and antibiotics are available only on the black market. “One of the myths Canadians harbor about Cuba is that its people may be poor and living under a repressive government, but they have access to quality health and education facilities,” the Post said. “It’s a portrait encouraged by the government, but the reality is sharply different.”

Under communism, Cuba has also fallen behind on more general measures of human development. As the progressive economist Brad DeLong pointed out:

Cuba in 1957—was a developed country. Cuba in 1957 had lower infant mortality than France, Belgium, West Germany, Israel, Japan, Austria, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Cuba in 1957 had doctors and nurses: as many doctors and nurses per capita as the Netherlands, and more than Britain or Finland. Cuba in 1957 had as many vehicles per capita as Uruguay, Italy, or Portugal. Cuba in 1957 had 45 TVs per 1000 people—fifth highest in the world …Today? Today the UN puts Cuba’s HDI [Human Development indicators] in the range of … Mexico. (And Carmelo Mesa-Lago thinks the UN’s calculations are seriously flawed: that Cuba’s right HDI peers today are places like China, Tunisia, Iran, and South Africa.) Thus I don’t understand lefties who talk about the achievements of the Cuban Revolution: ‘…to have better health care, housing, education.’

As Michael Giere notes, Cuba was prosperous before Castro’s communists seized power:

A United Nations (UNESCO) report in 1957 noted that the Cuban economy included proportionally more workers who were unionized than in the U.S. The report also stated that average wages for an eight hour day were higher in Cuba than in “Belgium, Denmark, France, and Germany.”…PBS explained in a 2004 retrospective, that

“Havana [prior to Castro] was a glittering and dynamic city. Cuba ranked fifth in the hemisphere in per capita income, third in life expectancy, second in per capita ownership of automobiles and telephones, first in the number of television sets per inhabitant. The literacy rate, 76%, was the fourth highest in Latin America. Cuba ranked 11th in the world in the number of doctors per capita. Many private clinics and hospitals provided services for the poor. Cuba’s income distribution compared favorably with that of other Latin American societies. A thriving middle class held the promise of prosperity and social mobility.”

But after Castro took over, the prosperity came to an end:

Castro’s destruction of Cuba cannot be over dramatized. He looted, murdered, and destroyed the nation from the ground up. Just one factoid explains it all; Cubans once enjoyed one of the highest consumption of proteins in the Americas, yet in 1962 Castro had to introduce ration cards (meat, 2 ounces daily), as food consumption per person crashed to levels not seen since the 1800s.

Hunger became so widespread that a visiting Swedish doctor, Hans Rosling, had to warn Cuba’s dictator in 1992 about widespread protein deficiency among Cubans. Roughly 40,000 Cubans had been reported to have been experiencing “visual blurring and severe numbness in their legs.” Rosling investigated at the invitation of the Cuban embassy in Sweden, and with the approval of Castro himself. Rosling travelled to the heart of the outbreak, in the western province of Pinar del Río. It turned out that those stricken with the disorder all suffered from protein deficiency. The government was rationing meat, and adults had sacrificed their portion to nourish children, pregnant women and the elderly. Dr. Rosling told Fidel Castro about this.

During this period of widespread hunger, Bernie Sanders was peddling the myth that hunger was non-existent in Cuba. In 1989, he published a newspaper column claiming that Fidel Castro’s Cuba had “no hunger, is educating all of its children and is providing high quality, free health care.”

The inflation rate in the United States jumped to 5.4% in June as prices for consumer goods soared; posting the fastest pace since 2008 while the economy struggles to recover from the COVID-19 shutdown.

“The Labor Department said last month’s consumer-price index increased 5.4% from a year ago, the highest 12-month rate since August 2008. The so-called core price index, which excludes the often-volatile categories of food and energy, rose 4.5% from a year before,” reports the Wall Street Journal.

“The index measures what consumers pay for goods and services, including clothes, groceries, restaurant meals, recreational activities and vehicles. It increased a seasonally adjusted 0.9% in June from May, the largest one-month change since June 2008. Prices for used cars and trucks leapt 10.5% from the previous month, driving one-third of the rise in the overall index, the department said. The indexes for airline fares and apparel also rose sharply in June,” adds the newspaper.

Hamas Is Abusing Children And The World Is Complicit

Hamas Is Abusing Children, and the World Is Complicit

Another summer, another terrorist training camp for Palestinian children.

Instead of pitching tents or playing guitar around a campfire, kids as young as 10-years old in Gaza will learn how to shoot weapons, “fight the Israeli occupation,” and “become a martyr and go to heaven.”

The immorality of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) is unsurprising. Terrorist disregard for the welfare of children is nothing unusual. The real story is how the world will once again shrug its shoulders as children are taught to be hateful terrorists.

Their acquiescence makes them complicit.

Take, for example, the United Nations. At a press conference for the Hamas “Vanguard of Liberation” camps, the spokesperson defended teaching children “armed resistance” by referencing a 1990 UN resolution that explicitly justified terrorism.

The UN has since become more subtle. Perhaps it realized the awkwardness of being an organization supposedly committed to “peace and security” while also expressly justifying the deliberate bombing of pizza parlors full of children.

Yet, it still works to provide cover for those terrorists.

The UN Secretary-General produces an annual report on “children and armed conflict.” As the group NGO Monitor has ably demonstrated, the report finds ways to apply unique standards, used nowhere else, to slander Israel (read: Jews) as child killers.

All the while, the annual reports have been almost entirely silent when it comes to the Palestinian terrorist groups’ incitement and recruitment of children.

To be clear, lack of evidence isn’t the problem.

Research analyst Joe Truzman, of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, has been regularly posting the public statements, images, and videos (including even music videos) from these summer camps.

The UN’s silence isn’t unique, either. The websites of “human rights” groups like Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch return no results when searching for condemnation of the summer camps.

The game played is particularly cynical, because it victimizes Palestinian children twice, and all just to continue blaming Israel (read: Jews) for the world’s wrongs. They are first victimized when Hamas robs them of a childhood, and places hatred in their hearts and weapons in their hands. They are then victimized a second time when “human rights” actors knowingly divert their gaze elsewhere, so as not to complicate the narrative of “Israel is bad.”

There is also the lame attempt of whataboutery. A favorite of anti-Israel social media users when videos and images of the terrorist camps begin emerging was to reuse old pictures of Israeli children examining weapons during an Independence Day celebration exhibit in 2016. The comparison is obviously silly.

I grew up nearby one of the largest airshows in the world, the EAA AirVenture. Every summer, many hundreds of thousands visit the airshow with their children, where they can get up close and personal with all sorts of military equipment exhibits. Just peruse the airshow’s gallery and you’ll find all sorts of children gawking at weapons as deadly as an F-35.

There’s obviously no moral equivalence between a summer camp that teaches kids how to use weapons and abduct Israelis on the one hand, and bringing children to a military exhibit fit for a history museum on the other.

But then again, it isn’t consideration for the welfare of children that invokes the absurd comparisons, the spreading of modern-day blood libels against Israel, and the willful ignorance towards Hamas’ crimes against children.

Rather, it is the hatred of Israel, and the “human rights” intelligentsia is seemingly more than willing to sacrifice the well-being of Palestinian children to score a few points against the Jewish State.

Did Rashida Tlaib Just Commit Treason?

The noble and patriotic Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Gaza) has a big new idea: defund not only the police, but Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Why? Because they engage in terrorism, of course. The Democrat effort to scapegoat and criminalize all opposition to the Leftist agenda in response to their imaginary January 6 “insurrection” is gathering steam, and now Tlaib wants to take it even farther, treating organizations dedicated to defending the United States as if they were enemies of the state. In the Left’s new America, that’s exactly what they are.

An interviewer asked Tlaib what she thought of Biden’s handlers’ proposal to try to bring the border fiasco under control with new technology. Tlaib took the opportunity to advance her modest proposal: “Look, the simple answer to that question is we must eliminate funding for CBP, ICE and their parent organization, DHS. Time after time we have seen it as advocates on the ground, as human services agencies on the ground continue to see over and over again, that these agencies are inept to humanely guiding migrants through our immigration system and instead they further continue to terrorize migrant communities located within our communities.”

Insofar as these agencies “terrorize migrant communities,” Tlaib likely considers them to be among the “white supremacist” domestic terrorists that the Biden administration has vowed to go after. And since they’re engaging in terrorism against “migrant communities,” giving them improved technology is the last thing Biden’s handlers should be considering doing. “This approach,” Tlaib declared, “is something that many, especially the new members of Congress, are coming with full force and pushing back against this idea.”

The very idea of trying to improve border security is (what else?) racist: “They rename this kind of militarization or targeting in a very inhumane way of our immigrant neighbors, but when it comes down to it, it is the same thing — which is targeting communities of color in a way that to me very much violates human rights and dignity for so many of our communities.”

Instead of new technology at the border, Tlaib said we need reform of our immigration laws, which is true, but not in the way she thinks: “This is a distraction to what is really needed, which is full comprehensive immigration reform policies in our country. We are far from even getting to that conversation because people are distracted with these for-profit, corporate greed approaches that are coming to experiment on our immigrants and our border. And I say enough.”

So in Rashida Tlaib’s ideal world, the United States would have new immigration laws that would presumably remove whatever restrictions that still remain on entry into the United States, as well as any remaining penalties on illegal entry. Meanwhile, she would defund the police, the border and immigration enforcement agencies, and the Department of Homeland Security.

America doesn’t have a Racist Past but The Democrat Party Does.

HATE AND THE DEMOCRAT PARTY

The Democrat Party since 1/20/2021 has taken hate to an entirely new level. The party and its leaders are using their powers to harm Americans, their families and their welfare. The Constitution was written to protect our lives, our liberties and our pursuit of happiness.

The Democrat party has, since the inauguration of Biden and the swearing in of the new Congress, implemented policies the have destroyed lives, liberties and brought unhappiness to millions of Americans.

Here is a short list of how the Democrats have institutionalized hate:

  • Implements Critical Race Theory into public schools. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica: Critical race theory (CRT), intellectual movement and loosely organized framework of legal analysis based on the premise that race is not a natural, biologically grounded feature of physically distinct subgroups of human beings but a socially constructed (culturally invented) category that is used to oppress and exploit people of colour. Critical race theorists hold that the law and legal institutions in the United States are inherently racist insofar as they function to create and maintain social, economic, and political inequalities between whites and nonwhites, especially African Americans.
  • Failed Border Security Policies that benefit illegal aliens over legal American citizens. The Biden Administration has created an ongoing border crises that is never ending.
  • Attacks on Freedom of Religion. Jews and Christians are being attacked on a daily basis both on the streets of America and via the MSM and social media. These attacks include physical attacks against Jews and Christians, social attacks by the media and deplatforming by tech companies.
  • Attacks on White People. Since the beginning of the Black Lives Matter hate group, whites have become the new woke racists. Americans are gradually and inextricably being taught that being born white is evil. People are not judged by the content of their character, rather people, especially white people, are being judged by the color of their skin, even by fellow white people.
  • Attacks on people who do not want big government and love America. The MAGA movement since the January 6th, 2021 Capital demonstration, have been demonized and literally hunted down and killed. Look at how an unarmed, 14-Year Air Force Veteran, named Ashli Babbit was shot to death by Capital Police on January 6th, a date that the Democrats used to turn Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Capital into an military encampment.
  • Using Covid to Lockdown America and American businesses. J.W. Bryan in an article stated, “We are incessantly told by our so-called health authorities that we have a health crisis which is caused by the COVID-19 viral pandemic. However, many health officials, both physicians and scientists refute this. Many are currently proclaiming that there is no pandemic and no COVID, that it is all a concoction to create a climate of fear. The goal of the health authorities in this country is the agenda for world government, i.e., the great reset, the acquiescence, by the people of total control of our health, resulting in a license to do anything that will bring about the New World Order and the fulfillment of UN Agenda 21.”
  • Using Covid to create Vaccine Passports to control the movement of Americans. Kelleigh Nelson posted a video in an article titled “America’s Vaccine Passports and China’s Social Credit System“, stating, “[A] video by Naomi Wolf, a Democrat and feminist, has exposed exactly what will happen if the American public accepts vaccine passports.  We will have locked into China’s communist control via social credits for every American citizen who once believed our country was the land of the free and the home of the brave.  If you haven’t listened to Naomi’s 15 min. presentation about these evil covid passports, please do…what she explains is the total control of every American.  The fact that she is a democrat makes what she is saying even more important.”
  • War in the Middle East and the spread of Anti-Semitism in America and the World. Since Biden took office he has made it policy to elevate and support Iran, Hamas, the Palestinians and others against the State of Israel. This has lead to bloodshed we have not seen during the Trump administration. Death, hate and destruction are the new normal in cities and states across America. Hateful Anti-Semites are openly displaying Nazi flags at pro-Israel demonstrations. Hate is alive and well under Biden.
  • Wokeness is a cultural disease that kills people’s freedoms. Wokeness is a bottomless pit of virtue signaling. Kurt Mahlburg wrote, “The challenge with critical race theory is that it does this with a seductive veneer — buzzwords like “diversity”, “equity” and “antiracism”. But when you peel back the layers, the truth is exposed: wokeness is a fraud.”

CONCLUSION

The Democrat Party is the party of the Ku Klux Klan, Black Lives Matter and Antifa. It is the party of division. It’s political core is “intersectionality.” Intersectionality created by Kimberlé Williams in 1989 is defined as follows:

The idea that people whose individual identities overlap with a number of marginalized groups experience multiple, overlapping threats of discrimination.

Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw is an American lawyer, civil rights advocate, philosopher, and a leading scholar of Critical Race Theory.

Intersectionality uses then pits one “victim” group against another and all “victim” groups against America.

It’s simple really. Take something that doesn’t exist, a lie, and make is sound like the truth.

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.

We now have a perfect storm. The Big Lies are now public policy.

I judge individuals not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

Democrats judge people by the color of their skins and idolize those who have no character, a.k.a. George Floyd a convicted felon and life long criminal.

New Evidence Indicates Enough Illegal Votes In Georgia To Tip 2020 Results

New evidence indicates that more than 10,300 illegal votes were cast in Georgia in the November 2020 general election — a number that will continue to rise over the next several months, potentially exceeding the 12,670 votes that separated Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

While this evidence does not change the fact that Joe Biden is our president, all Americans who genuinely care about free and fair elections and the disenfranchisement of voters should demand both transparency and solutions to prevent a repeat in future elections. This evidence also vindicates former President Trump and his legal team for the related public (and private) comments and legal arguments made in challenging the Georgia election results.

Under the cover of COVID-19, Georgia, like many other states, flooded residents with absentee ballot applications. Also like sister states, Georgia ignored various legislative mandates designed to prevent fraud and to ensure the integrity of the vote. These facts, coupled with the closeness of the presidential contest in Georgia and other states, led to a flurry of accusations and litigation charging vote fraud, illegal voting, and violations of the Elector’s Clause of the constitution.

In Georgia, there was both an audit and a statewide recount confirming Biden’s victory, but ignored in the process was evidence that nearly 35,000 Georgians had potentially voted illegally.

Under Georgia law, residents must vote in the county in which they reside, unless they changed their residence within 30 days of the election. As Jake Evans, a well-known Atlanta election lawyer, told me, outside of the 30-day grace period, if people vote in a county in which they no longer reside, “Their vote in that county would be illegal.”

Soon after the November general election, Mark Davis, the president of Data Productions Inc. and an expert in voter data analytics and residency issues, obtained data from the National Change of Address (NCOA) database that identified Georgia residents who had confirmed moves with the U.S. Postal Service. After excluding moves with effective dates within 30 days of the general election, and by using data available from the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office, Davis identified nearly 35,000 Georgia voters who indicated they had moved from one Georgia county to another, but then voted in the 2020 general election in the county from which they had moved.

Casting Doubt on Potential Illegal Votes

Some of those moves could have been temporary, involving students or members of the military, Davis stressed, adding that under Georgia law temporary relocations do not alter citizens’ residency status or render their votes illegal. But, given the margin separating the two presidential candidates, approximately one-third of the votes at issue could have altered the outcome of the election.  Yet the media, the courts, and the Secretary of State’s Office ignored or downplayed the issue.

“It was disconcerting to see the media and the courts largely ignore serious issues like these, especially since the data I was seeing showed very legitimate issues,” Davis said. “In fact, I heard members of the Secretary of State’s team admit some votes were cast with residency issues, but then claimed there weren’t enough of them to cast the outcome of the election in doubt,” Davis added. “That was not at all what I was seeing, and as far as I am aware the Secretary of State’s Office has never put an actual number on the ones they did see.”

While frustrated, Davis told me that he never stopped working on these issues. “In May I received an updated voter database from the Secretary of State’s office, and I imported the data and compared voter’s addresses to the NCOA information I processed in November.”

The Data Speaks for Itself

When Davis ran the data, he found that, of the approximately 35,000 Georgians who indicated they had moved from one county to another county more than 30 days before the November general election, as of May, more than 10,300 had updated their voter registration information, providing the secretary of state the exact address they had previously provided to the USPS. Those same 10,000-plus individuals all also cast ballots in the county in which they had previously lived.

“That number continues to increase every day as more and more people update their registrations,” Davis said. “I have little doubt that the total number will eventually meet and then exceed President Biden’s margin of victory in Georgia.” Davis, who has testified as an expert witness multiple times in disputed election cases, believes Trump might have won a challenge to the Georgia election results had a court actually heard his case.

“Under Georgia law, a judge can order an election be redone if he or she sees there were enough illegal, irregular, or improperly rejected votes to cast the results of the election in doubt, or if they see evidence of ‘systemic irregularities,’” Davis said.

“These issues were absolutely systemic,” Davis stressed, noting “they occurred in every county in the state, in every state house, state senate, and in every congressional district in the state.”

Evans, who holds the distinction of being the only lawyer in Georgia history to successfully overturn two elections in the same race, concurred. Under Georgia law, Evans explained, “an election should be overturned either if (1) more votes than decided the election were illegal, wrongfully rejected or irregular, or (2) when there were systemic irregularities that cast in doubt the results of the election.”

“In the case of the 2020 general election,” Evans told me, Davis’s analysis indicates both factors could have been in play.

Davis’s data proves significant because critics of Trump’s challenge to the certification of Georgia’s election results framed the NCOA information as either unreliable or of an insufficient magnitude to cast the outcome of the election in doubt. But by updating their voter registration information with the same address as contained in the NCOA database, the voters themselves have established the reliability of that information.

Further, by updating their address for purposes of their voter registration, these same voters are confirming their move is not temporary. “When a person updates their voter registration to a new address, they are informing the county board of elections and correspondingly the Secretary of State that they regard the new address as their legal residence,” Evans explained.

What Do Georgia Officials Know?

Upon learning of this new development, the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office quietly opened an investigation into potentially illegal voting by residents who had moved between counties. Davis provided his data to the office in May, with a detailed explanation of his analysis. Yet during my interview last week with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, he seemed unfamiliar with this most recent evidence of illegal voting.

Immediately following the interview, both his press secretary, Walter Jones, and his deputy secretary of state, Jordan Fuchs, called me back to follow up on my questions on the status of that investigation. While Jones spoke favorably of Davis, he suggested that Davis’s figure included “false-positives” because Davis lacked access to Social Security numbers and birth dates of voters, and thus Davis’s list likely included different individuals bearing the same name. Fuchs suggested a similar issue with Davis’s analysis.

“There is no need to have access to Social Security numbers or birth dates,” Davis told me. “Every voter has a unique eight-digit voter identification number,” Davis explained that these voter identification numbers tie to the voters’ names and addresses and to vote-history data, which documents when and where their votes are cast and comes from the secretary of state’s own data.

Davis provided access to that data, following the execution of a non-disclosure agreement, and I confirmed Davis’s representation. Davis also provided processing certification verifying receipt of the NCOA data.

“I provided this exact same information to Frances Watson, the chief investigator for the secretary of state,” Davis told me, sharing a copy of the email sent to Watson.

When asked for the status of Watson’s investigation and other details, while both were receptive to questions, neither Jones nor Fuchs could provide definitive answers. While on Friday Fuchs promised to give Watson permission to speak with me, and while both the deputy secretary of state and the press secretary promised to arrange an interview with Watson and to track down answers to several questions, to date, no further information has been provided and no interview has been arranged, notwithstanding several follow-up communications.

Hopefully, that is because Watson is busy investigating the strong evidence of illegal voting and not because the Secretary of State’s Office is attempting to bury the story — and the fact that Trump might have been right after all — until after Raffensperger fights off a primary challenge.
