Georgia House Committee Recommends Hand Counting 2026 Ballots

The House Blue Ribbon Elections Study Committee issued their first of several anticipated reports. The committee prioritized a solution for Georgia’s current Dominion Democracy Suite 5.5A voting system which was found to be unsecure and in violation of Georgia law. The system tabulates all contest votes that are hidden in a Quick Response (QR) code which voters cannot verify even with a QR code reader. The QR coded ballots are used for all in-person voting.

The report recommends to the Georgia General Assembly that official General Election results should be hand counted for all in-person ballots if they continue to be QR coded. The recommendation ensures that all tabulated votes will be verifiable to the voters. It also reduces risks of electronic results tampering especially since forensic reports have found Dominion tabulators and servers to be remotely accessible.

FBI Agents Search Election Hub in Fulton County, Georgia in Court-Authorized 2020 Vote Investigation

“FBI agents were seen Wednesday carrying out a search at an election hub in Fulton County, Georgia, a location that became ground zero for concerns and complaints about voter fraud beginning in 2020.”

FBI agents carried out a court-authorized search Wednesday at the Fulton County Election Hub in Georgia, a facility tied to longstanding controversy over the 2020 election. The FBI confirmed the action but declined to provide details, saying the investigation is ongoing and related to the 2020 vote. The search comes amid renewed scrutiny of Fulton County, which has been at the center of election disputes, recent DOJ efforts to access ballots, and the now-dismissed racketeering case brought by DA Fani Willis against President Trump and others.

“It’s not just that none of the 315,000 early votes for Fulton County, GA in 2020 were not signed.

They never turned over ANY zero tapes for those votes. That’s the entire beginning record of the election.

They provided 137 unsigned closing tapes, but ZERO signed or unsigned opening tapes.

They made the early votes up and this is what the recounts were supposed to match. (They didn’t.) It was all a fraud and they never produced the results that the second machine count and the hand recount were supposedly matching.”Liz Harrington

Drama unfolds over televised Georgia court hearing in election fraud case

FIRST ON FOX: FBI agents were seen Wednesday carrying out a search at an election hub in Fulton County, Georgia, a location that became ground zero for concerns and complaints about voter fraud beginning in 2020.

Agents were seen entering the Fulton County Election Hub and Operation Center, a new facility that state officials opened in 2023 that was designed to streamline their election processes.

It was not immediately clear what the FBI agents were investigating, but Fox News Digital is told the probe is related to the 2020 election.

The bureau said in a statement provided to Fox News Digital that FBI Atlanta was executing a “court authorized law enforcement action at 5600 [Campbellton] Fairburn Rd.”

“Our investigation into this matter is ongoing so there are no details that we can provide at the moment,” the bureau said.

The Department of Justice did not provide comment.

President Donald Trump lost the election in Georgia in 2020 by a wafer-thin margin and claimed various instances of fraud had tainted the results. Those claims did not survive court scrutiny. Fulton, a suburb of Atlanta and the state’s most populous county, drew significant attention at the time.

A machine count and two recounts confirmed that former President Joe Biden had won the state, leading Trump to feud with Georgia’s leaders for years.

The DOJ sued Fulton County last month seeking access to ballots related to the 2020 election.

Trump’s grievances in Georgia were compounded when he and numerous co-conspirators were indicted by a grand jury in Fulton County Superior Court in 2023 over allegations that they engaged in a racketeering scheme involving illegally attempting to overturn the 2020 election results.

The case never made it to trial as Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was disqualified from prosecuting it. An independent entity called the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council decided to dismiss the indictment last year, saying it would not be in the interest of the state to continue with the case…….

GEORGIA: DOJ hammers Fulton County over 315,000 ghost votes

The time for “polite inquiries” is officially over.  For five years, the bureaucratic fortress of Fulton County, Georgia, has stonewalled every attempt to look under the hood of the 2020 election.  They hid behind state seals, played legal shell games with ballot locations, and treated public record requests like personal insults.  But as of December 2025, the game has changed.  The Department of Justice (DOJ), now acting as a legal strike force under the Trump administration, has launched a federal offensive that is sending shockwaves through the Georgia political establishment.

Led by Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, the DOJ has filed a massive lawsuit in the Northern District of Georgia to force Fulton County to surrender every used and void ballot, signature envelope, and digital record from 2020.  The target is clear: total transparency, backed by the threat of criminal indictments.

At the center of this legal firestorm is a revelation that should make every voter’s blood boil.  In a December 9, 2025, hearing before the Georgia State Election Board (SEB), Fulton County’s own legal counsel, Ann Brumbaugh, was forced to make a catastrophic admission: More than 130 tabulator tapes from the 2020 early voting period were never signed.

By law (Georgia Rule 183-1-12-.12), every tabulator tape — the physical “receipt” produced by a voting machine — must be signed by a poll manager and two witnesses.  These signatures are the only thing standing between a legitimate tally and a fabricated one.  In Fulton County, those signatures simply aren’t there.  We are talking about the “certification” of 315,000 early in-person votes — the vast majority of the county’s early count — that lack the basic legal requirement for validity.

The question that now haunts the halls of the Fulton County Government Center is simple: Who signed the fake tapes?  Or more accurately, who moved those 315,000 votes into the final count when they knew the tapes were unsigned or missing? If those records were later “created” or backfilled to cover the gap, it isn’t a clerical error — it’s a federal felony.

As the DOJ moves in, the county’s story about the physical ballots has begun to crumble.  Investigators have reportedly been sent on a wild goose chase between two different locations: the Clerk of Courts office and a central warehouse.  The confusion isn’t accidental; it’s a tactic.

But the DOJ isn’t playing along.  The October 2025 subpoena demanded “all used and void ballots, stubs, and digital files.”  When clerk Ché Alexander claimed the records were “under seal” and unreachable, the DOJ hit back with a federal lawsuit.  They are now using Title III of the Civil Rights Act of 1960 to bypass local “seals,” arguing that the county has a federal duty to produce these records for inspection.

The fear among election integrity advocates is that these records may have been “cleaned” or destroyed in unsecured warehouses.  If the physical ballots don’t match the digital uploads — or if they’ve mysteriously vanished — the officials in charge won’t just be facing fines; they’ll be facing a RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) investigation that could dismantle the entire county election board.

The State Election Board has already shown that it has no appetite for more excuses.  In a 3-0 vote this month, the board referred Fulton County to the Georgia attorney general for sanctions.  With fines authorized up to $5,000 per missing tape, the county is staring down a bill that could exceed $670,000.

But the real danger isn’t the money. It’s the forensic audit of 2026.

Once the DOJ secures these records — likely in early 2026 — the focus will shift to

  • Signature Comparison: Matching the signatures on those 315,000 ballots to the actual voter rolls.
  • Digital Forensics: Identifying the exact user logins that uploaded “unsigned” data into the state’s central server.
  • Chain of Custody: Tracing the path of every ballot box to see if the “two-location” confusion was a cover for evidence tampering.

Dhillon said, “At this Department of Justice, we will not permit states to jeopardize the integrity and effectiveness of elections. … If states will not fulfill their duty to protect the integrity of the ballot, we will.”

For years, the “landslide” claims were dismissed as conspiracy theories by the mainstream media.  But you don’t file a federal lawsuit over a theory.  You file it when you have an admission of 130 unsigned tapes and 315,000 unaccounted-for votes.

The DOJ’s litigation is the first step in a 2026 campaign to clean the slate.  If the records show what many suspect — that votes were manufactured or “certified” through illegal means — then the “serious indictments” the public has been waiting for are inevitable.

Accountability is no longer a question of if, but when.

No Politician Should Support Sharia in America

But is it a red line for all conservatives?

There are red lines in the conservative movement and over the past few weeks we’ve been having a vigorous debate about what some of those red lines should be. Here’s one red line that’s gone unmentioned. Sharia Islamic law.

Sharia mandates the inferiority of Christians, Jews and other non-Muslims to members of the Muslim master race, it mandates the inferiority of women and eliminates any notion of human freedom.

So is it a red line for all conservatives?

Paul Dans, currently being promoted for the Georgia Senate in a primary race against Sen. Lindsey Graham by Tucker Carlson, previously went on Al Jazeera (of all places) where he was interviewed by Marc Lamont Hill. A former CNN contributor, Hill had been ousted as being too extreme for CNN after he justified the kidnapping and murder of three Israel teens. (That was a while back and today that would be a point in his favor at CNN.)

Dans had been the director of Project 2025, the ill-fated Heritage proposal disavowed by Trump, (which also led to Heritage being sidelined within the Trump administration after Kevin Roberts bragged about it publicly). Project 2025 had good and bad parts to it, but talking about it was a sure way to undermine the Trump administration.

Going on Al Jazeera to talk about it seemed like an even worse idea. Al Jazeera is the state media of Qatar, an Islamic terrorist state accused of developing ties to some on the ‘woke right’, which also sponsors the Muslim Brotherhood. It loves the idea of implementing Sharia law in America.

And so Hill asked Dans about that. Dans was woefully unprepared when Hill asked him if a Muslim candidate wins an election, would he be able to implement Sharia law.

Dans could have answered that question by saying that America is based on Judeo-Christian values or (since he doesn’t like Jews, on Christian values) rather than Muslim ones, instead he seemed happy to play into the idea that America could be ‘Islamized’ if it was done ‘democratically’.

Sharia law should be a red line. And yet some of the people who talk about making America more Christian again seem open to the idea of Islamization.

You can’t claim to be making America more Christian, if you’re willing to allow Islam to take over.

This is all the more relevant now since Tucker Carlson, who sat out tough races in New York, New Jersey and Virginia, doing nothing to help conservatives, decided to get involved in the Georgia race to boost Dans. I’m no fan of Sen. Lindsey Graham, who has his own troubling record on Islam, but Tucker’s record is even worse.

And includes defending Sharia law.

Mamdani’s Socialist Org Makes Progress Flooding Local Offices With Radicals Across U.S.

Democratic New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani was one of at least six candidates backed by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) who won local offices across the country Tuesday.

Kelsea Bond in Atlanta, Georgia, Denzel McCampbell in Detroit, Michigan, Danny Nowell in Carrboro, North Carolina, Ayah Al-Zubi in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Frankie Fritz in Greenbelt, Maryland, won city council races after receiving DSA endorsements, according to multiple reports. The results show that DSA-style radicals bucking the establishment left through Mamdani marked a wider trend.

In Minnesota, Democratic Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and DSA-backed leftist Omar Fateh completed their first round of vote counting in the city’s ranked-choice voting system Tuesday with Frey in the lead, The Associated Press reported. Unofficial election results show Will Burnley Jr., another DSA candidate, lost against Jake Wilson in Somerville, Massachusetts’ mayoral race, according to The Tufts Daily.

The DSA said it endorsed 18 candidates throughout the year in a Tuesday statement celebrating Mamdani’s mayoral win. “DSA will continue to support Democratic Socialists running for office throughout the United States as we build a political movement of and for the working class that can defeat the oligarchy and win the political revolution,” the group said.

“Through Zohran’s victory, the people defeated the oligarchy; the working class defeated major corporations; Democratic Socialism defeated the Democratic Party status quo,” the DSA said. “This movement was powered by over 99,000 volunteers and millions [of] voters. Thousands of DSA members in NYC-DSA played critical roles in the campaign as staff and volunteers: knocking doors, calling voters, talking to coworkers, and organizing in our unions and communities.”

Left-wing financier Alex Soros celebrated the win Tuesday by posting a photo on X of himself posing with the self-proclaimed socialist. “So proud to be a New Yorker! The American dream continues!” Soros said.

Democrats unaffiliated with the DSA won elections for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general in Virginia and for governor of New Jersey on Tuesday.

A liberal incumbent candidate for school board lost to an independent in Loudon County, Virginia, infamous for sexual assault scandals related to the school district’s stance on transgenderism. Amy Riccardi, the independent, campaigned in favor of separating bathrooms and other school spaces by biological sex.

EXCLUSIVE: Congressional Republicans To Unveil Bill Stripping National Education Association’s Federal Charter

Congressional Republicans will unveil a bill Wednesday aimed at revoking the federal charter of the National Education Association (NEA), the largest labor union in the United States, the Daily Caller has learned.

Republicans Rep. Mark Harris of North Carolina and Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee will introduce the National Education Association Charter Repeal Act in their respective chambers, aiming to sever the union from its congressional ties, a congressional aide told the Caller. Founded in 1857, the NEA received its charter from Congress in 1906 and now represents over 3 million educators nationwide.

The NEA has a “long list of egregious violations of public trust,” including an Open Secrets report finding that 98 percent of NEA political donations went to Democratic candidates during the 2024 election cycle, Harris said in a statement obtained by the Caller.

More recently, the NEA has faced controversy for passing a resolution that “pledges to defend democracy against Trump’s embrace of fascism by using the term facism [sic] in NEA materials to correctly characterize Donald Trump’s program and actions,” the New York Post reported, citing documents obtained by conservative education expert Corey DeAngelis.

Tina Descovich, co-founder of Moms for Liberty, praised Harris’ move in a statement obtained by the Caller. “It’s incredibly sad that the nation‘s largest teachers’ union has put woke politics before America’s children. The NEA’s embrace of radical left policies and antisemitism, combined with their rejection of parental rights, has forced moms and dads across America to condemn this organization,” she said.

The NEA’s operations rely primarily on member dues, not support from the federal government, according to Influence Watch. However, the bill could sever the organization’s congressional ties and eliminate certain property tax exemptions, according to the statement obtained by the Caller.

Similar bills to revoke the NEA’s charter, including one proposed by Blackburn in 2022, have struggled to gain traction, stalling in committee or merely being introduced on the floor.

The Caller has reached out to the NEA for comment but has not received a response at the time of publication.

Harris Honeymoon Fizzles Out As Trump Leads In Sun Belt Battlegrounds

Former President Donald Trump has gained ground and is leading Vice President Kamala Harris in key Sun Belt states, according to a New York Times/Siena poll from Monday.

Trump gained in Arizona and is now leading Harris by five points with the two candidates polling at 50% and 45% among likely voters respectively, according to the poll. At the same time, Trump has also held onto his lead over Harris in Georgia by four points and in North Carolina by two points.

While the Republican candidate is leading, a significant portion of likely voters across all three states are independents, according to the poll. On average, 31% of likely voters in the Sun Belt consider themselves Democrats, 33% identify as Republicans and 31% say they are independents.

The top issues for Sun Belt likely voters are the economy and immigration, polling at 26% and 16% ,respectively, according to the poll. When it comes to handling these top issues, 50% of likely voters trust Trump while just 46% prefer Harris.

Under Harris’ purview, who has previously been dubbed the Border Czar, there have been over 10 million nationwide migrant encounters, according to data from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. During the Biden-Harris administration, there have been over 8 million migrant encounters on the Southern Border alone.

Inflation and economic struggles have also been a recurring theme over the last four years, with the national debt skyrocketing to $35 trillion for the first time in American history in July.

Several Biden-Harris initiatives, like the American Rescue Plan and the Inflation Reduction Act, have hiked up the federal deficit. The American Rescue Plan, which passed in March 2021, approved $1.9 trillion in spending, and the Inflation Reduction Act, which passed in August 2022, authorized an additional $750 billion in spending.

While Trump is leading, both candidates are viewed unfavorably across the Sun Belt, according to the poll. On average, Trump is polling at 47% favorability and 50% unfavourability across likely voters, while Harris is polling at 46% favorability and 51% unfavourability.

In Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina, only 30%, 24% and 28% of likely voters think the country is on the right track and roughly two-thirds say the country is headed in the wrong direction, according to the poll. This trend remains the same across groups irrespective of age and gender.

Although Trump won North Carolina in 2020, President Joe Biden won both Arizona and Georgia in 2020.

The NYT/Siena poll surveyed 2,077 likely voters in Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina from Sept. 17 to Sept. 21 with a margin of error of +/- 2.5%.

Democrat Party Sues Georgia Election Board to Block Election Integrity Measures

The Democrats cannot win in free and fair elections. Hence….

DNC, Ga. Democratic Party Sue State Election Board

By Jim Thomas, Newsmax, 26 August 2024 09:29 PM EDT

The Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Party of Georgia have sued the Republican-led Georgia State Election Board.

Kyle Griffin, executive producer of MSNBC’s “The Weekend,” posted on X: “The DNC and the Democratic Party of Georgia has sued the Republican-controlled Georgia State Election Board to prevent [former President Donald] Trump’s allies on the Board from blocking the certification of the 2024 election.

“The DNC says the lawsuit is to ensure that Georgia’s State Election Board ‘doesn’t turn a straightforward and mandatory act of certification into a broad license for any county board member to try and delay or block the certification of election results and the will of Georgia voters.’”

Georgia’s State Election Board recently adopted a new rule that will allow county election boards to request additional information and conduct inquiries before certifying election results, CNN reported.

The change, which took effect 91 days before the 2024 presidential election, has raised concerns among critics, including the board’s only Democrat, Sara Tindall Ghazal, who argue the rule could lead to delays in certifying results in the upcoming general election.

Georgia’s board, which has no direct role in determining election results, writes rules to ensure that elections run smoothly and hears complaints about alleged violations. Democrats and voting rights groups fear that a recently cemented majority of Republican partisans on the board could push the limits of state law with rules hindering the effective administration of elections and the swift certification of results.

Democrats made important gains in the 2020 election cycle in Georgia, winning two key U.S. Senate seats in addition to President Joe Biden’s narrow victory. However, state government remains dominated by Republicans — with a significant faction loyal to Trump.

The DNC lawsuit underscores the deep distrust between the two parties over election integrity and the certification process.

GEORGIA: Gwinnett CEO and State Senate Candidate Michael Gargiulo Prepares for Election After RNC

ATLANTA, GA /PRNewswire/ — Gwinnett entrepreneur Michael Gargiulo continues to shake up Georgia politics. He is the CEO at VPN.com and running for State Senate in Georgia’s 9th senate district. Gargiulo’s decision to attend the Republican National Convention (RNC) showed a commitment to the shared American values of faith and freedom, especially in the face of evil.

Michael Gargiulo’s Appearance at the RNC

At the RNC, Michael Gargiulo joined key Georgia policymakers and national leaders to discuss various issues, including Georgia’s future, immigration, school crime, human trafficking, and cybersecurity.

Gargiulo has had a long history of working with elected officials across party lines. In 2021, Gargiulo sent President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris an open letter regarding the ‘American Censorship Report.’ In 2017, the company also sent this letter to President Trump and ICANN to promote peace by temporarily disabling all Iranian domain names.

ELECTION INTERFERENCE: Biden’s DOJ Says It Will Intervene in Georgia Election Lawsuit to Ensure Election Integrity

The Democrats are hellbent on corrupt, rigged elections.

DOJ Confirms It Will Intervene in Lawsuit Targeting Georgia Mail Ballot Deadline

The Justice Department confirmed that it will intervene in a lawsuit targeting an 11-day deadline to register for mail-in ballots in Georgia.

By Jack Phillips, The Epoch Times, July 9, 2024:

The Department of Justice (DOJ) confirmed on July 8 that it will intervene in a lawsuit that challenges a Georgia state deadline for absentee ballot applications and whether it is illegal under the Voting Rights Act.

In 2023, a group of theater workers challenged a provision of Georgia state law SB 202, which was passed in 2021 and requires a voter to apply for an absentee ballot 11 days before a presidential election. Their lawsuit argues that Section 202 of the Voting Rights Act mandates that voters be able to cast ballots in presidential elections if they applied seven days before an election, arguing that the Georgia law violates federal law, and requests that a court block the law’s enforcement.

The DOJ’s filing on July 8 did not make any arguments. It was a notice that it would make a filing that “exercises its right to intervene in this proceeding to defend the constitutionality of Section 202 of the Voting Rights Act,” noting that it would “submit a brief regarding the constitutionality and interpretation of Section 202” by July 22.

Earlier this year, the DOJ filed a statement expressing interest in the lawsuit that challenges the state’s 11-day application deadline and “has a substantial interest in ensuring Section 202’s proper interpretation.” The agency also argued that private parties are able to file lawsuits to enforce the section of the Voting Rights Act, which provides a “general remedy for private plaintiffs to redress violations of federal rights committed by state actors.”

Republican state officials have defended the 11-day cutoff deadline, arguing that the group of theater workers lacks the right to sue under the Voting Rights Act.

Mr. Carr said in late 2023 that the theater workers have not “come close to satisfying its burden of establishing standing.”

They instead rely “only on threadbare allegations of injury that are insufficient even at this stage,” his office wrote. “The court should … dismiss the amended complaint because Plaintiff has no private right of action under the [Voting Rights Act].”

The Republican National Committee and the Georgia Republican Party also submitted court filings in the case, arguing that the deadline rules in question should be upheld and that the plaintiffs’ case should be dismissed.
In a separate challenge to the 2021 Georgia law, a federal judge in 2023 ruled against the DOJ and voting rights groups after they claimed that the Republican-backed law intentionally discriminates against black voters by issuing new rules on providing identification for mail-in voting, restricting drop boxes, shortening the absentee ballot request, and other provisions.
Earlier this year, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signed legislation—SB 189—that made new changes to Georgia’s voting laws, including defining “probable causes” for removing voters from the rolls when their eligibility is challenged.

The measure lists death, evidence of voting or registering in another jurisdiction, a tax exemption indicating a primary residence elsewhere, or a nonresidential address as probable causes for removing voters from the rolls. It also states that the National Change of Address list can be considered, although not exclusively.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Reveals Plan To Oust Speaker Mike Johnson

Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene announced on Wednesday that she will call for a vote to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson next week.

Greene initially filed a motion to vacate in late March over disagreements with Johnson’s latest appropriations plan. The Georgia Republican detailed her plan to advance her efforts to remove Johnson during a press conference following the House’s passage of Ukraine aid.

“I think every member of Congress needs to take that vote and let the chips fall where they may. And so next week, I am going to be calling this motion to vacate,” Green said. “We are not going to have a House majority if we keep Mike Johnson.”

Johnson released a statement following Greene’s announcement, arguing that “this motion is wrong for the Republican Conference, wrong for the institution, and wrong for the country.”

Politico reported Wednesday that Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Whatley had attempted to dissuade Greene from going through with the vote.

“He said, one, this is not helpful, and two, we want to expand and grow the majority in the House,” said a person familiar with Whatley’s message to Greene, per Politico. “He was clear that any disruption to the conference on these efforts — including filing this [motion to vacate], does not help the case for party unity.”

House Democratic leadership announced on Tuesday they’d help save Johnson if Greene moved forward with her motion to vacate after he helped advance the national security supplemental.

“At this moment, upon completion of our national security work, the time has come to turn the page on this chapter of Pro-Putin Republican obstruction,” the Democrats said. “We will vote to table Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Motion to Vacate the Chair. If she invokes the motion, it will not succeed.”

Swing-State Voters Overwhelmingly Trust Trump Over Biden On Pivotal Issues Ahead Of November Election: POLL

Former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden by large margins on key domestic issues across seven battleground states ahead of the November election, a poll released Tuesday evening found.

Trump is trouncing Biden by 20 points on handling of the economy, border security, inflation and the “mental and physical fitness needed to be President,” according to a Wall Street Journal survey among registered voters in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Inflation and illegal immigration have surged since Biden took office in January 2021, and questions concerning the president’s mental fitness continue to mount.

Swing-state voters also said they trust Trump 14 and nine points more than Biden to handle the wars in Gaza and Ukraine, respectively, according to the poll.

The only issues polled that Biden led Trump on were abortion and “protecting democracy.” Biden was trusted by 12 points more on the issue of abortion, as well as one point on protecting democracy, the survey found.

Trump also led Biden in the poll for a general election matchup by one point in Georgia; three points in Michigan and Pennsylvania; four points in Nevada; five points in Arizona; and six points in North Carolina. The two were tied in Wisconsin at 46%.

When independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr., “Justice for All Party” candidate Cornel West, Green Party candidate Jill Stein and Libertarian Party candidate Lars Mapstead were included, Trump’s leads grew in North Carolina and Georgia, according to the poll.

The former president’s margins stayed the same in Arizona, Nevada and Pennsylvania with the third-party contenders on the ballot, while his lead dropped by one point in Michigan and Wisconsin fell to Biden.

Trump is currently leading Biden in the RealClearPolitics average for 2024 matchups in ArizonaNevadaWisconsinMichiganPennsylvaniaNorth Carolina and Georgia anywhere from 0.6 to 5.2 points.

The WSJ poll surveyed 4,200 registered voters across the swing states from March 17 to March 24 with a margin of error of plus or minus 4%.

Neither the Trump nor Biden campaigns immediately responded to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s requests for comment.

Georgia Adopts Legislation to Strengthen Anti-Sanctuary Laws in Wake of Laken Riley’s Murder

The Georgia Legislature took a significant step towards improving public safety last week by passing the Georgia Criminal Alien Track and Report Act of 2024 (HB 1105) and sending it to Governor Brian Kemp’s desk. If signed into law, HB 1105 will put teeth into Georgia’s anti-sanctuary law to ensure criminal aliens operating in Georgia communities are not shielded from immigration enforcement.

HB 1105 requires Georgia’s local law enforcement agencies to cooperate in the enforcement of federal immigration laws by honoring of detainer requests. The bill also imposes penalties for sheriff’s offices and jailers who refuse to participate in ICE’s 287(g) program. If found violating HB 1105, the locality will lose state and federal funding.

The Senate chamber was filled with drama as debate on the bill came to a close. Laken Riley’s parents entered the Senate chamber for the final vote and her father, Jason Riley, stepped towards the podium to speak. Mr. Riley urged Senators take action. “God gave me a beautiful daughter to father, protect, provide for, and nurture. A man with an evil heart stole her life. He was in this country and in this state illegally. My vision for every senator in this chamber is that you protect citizens from this illegal invasion.”

Despite being considered a common-sense measure by most, some Georgia lawmakers opposed the bill. Senator Nabilah Islam Parkes, (D-Duluth), suggested the bill will negatively impact all immigrants. She suggested the bill was designed to punish victims of crimes “whose only connection to the crime is share[ing] the [same] immigration status of the perpetrator,” rendering them “collateral damage” to immigration enforcement efforts.

However, Senator John Albers (R), the bill’s sponsor, spoke on the tragic nature of Laken’s death, saying, “This could have been prevented. I hope laws like this and other things that are happening will prevent future tragedies from happening.”

Tragically, Laken Riley became the collateral damage of the Biden administration’s open-border policies and Athens-Clarke County’s sanctuary policies. And it took Laken’s murder to focus Georgia lawmakers on the dangerous impact open borders and sanctuary policies have on public safety. Equally distressing is the fact that Laken’s death isn’t an isolated incident but rather one of a few that has garnered national media attention. According to Representative Jesse Petrea (R-166), a co-sponsor of HB 1105, nearly 200 convicted murderers are classified as illegal aliens within Georgia’s prison system. “There’s 182 today, so my point is to say Laken Riley wasn’t the first. it’s high-profile. It’s horrible. Remember this: Every single violent crime committed against someone by someone illegally in the country was and is an avoidable crime.”

While HB 1105 cannot undo the tragic loss of Laken and the other victims of illegal alien crime, it stands as a crucial measure in condemning the actions of her murderer and safeguarding the community against future acts of violence. This bill is expected to be signed by Governor Kemp. When remarking on Laken’s death, Governor Kemp said, “This is a failure of our system on multiple levels, and at multiple times, and it has resulted in a young woman’s death. That is inexcusable.”

Trump Secures Enough Delegates To Clinch Republican Nomination

Former President Donald Trump won enough delegates from nominating contests Tuesday evening to secure the 2024 Republican nomination, according to The Associated Press.

Trump won primaries in GeorgiaMississippi and Washington, surpassing the Republican National Committee’s required 1,215 delegate threshold from Tuesday’s contests to become the presumptive nominee, the AP projected at the time of writing. The Hawaii caucus has yet to be called.

President Joe Biden reached his party’s 1,968 target after a win in Georgia. Biden, who also secured a win in Mississippi on Tuesday, already won Hawaii‘s Democratic caucus on March 6 with 66% support, according to the AP.

Across all of the nominating contests on Tuesday, 161 Republican delegates and 254 Democratic delegates are on the line, according to the AP.

The president is likely to face an “uncommitted” protest vote in Washington over his handling of the Israel-Hamas war, as he did in several Super Tuesday states and Michigan. The ballot option received 7.5% support at the time of writing, according to the AP.

Trump won nearly all of the Super Tuesday states on March 5, while former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley was able to narrowly secure the blue state of Vermont. Haley dropped out of the Republican primary the following day after only notching two wins this cycle, including Washington, D.C., but did not endorse Trump.

The former president notched big wins in the first four nominating states — IowaNew HampshireNevada and South Carolina — as well as in the U.S. Virgin IslandsMichiganIdaho, Missouri and North Dakota.

Trump is currently leading Biden by 1.7 points in the RealClearPolitics average for a potential 2024 rematch, and is also ahead in crucial battleground states like MichiganArizonaGeorgiaNevadaNorth Carolina and Wisconsin.

Trump Meets Family Of Laken Riley At Georgia Rally

Former President Donald Trump met the family of Laken Riley Saturday night at a Georgia campaign rally.

Trump was photographed embracing members of the murdered nursing student’s family before taking the stage in Rome, located right outside of Atlanta, according to the New York Post. Riley’s body was found late February near a lake at the University of Georgia (UGA) campus after she was allegedly beaten to death by an illegal migrant.

The prospective Republican presidential nominee’s campaign distributed posters of Riley’s photo with phrases like “Say her name” and “Remember our angels” written on them, ABC News reported.

Trump tore into President Joe Biden for incorrectly saying Riley’s name Thursday during his 2024 State of The Union address, blaming the Democratic president’s policies for Riley’s murder. Biden called the deceased 22-year-old “Lincoln” instead of Laken after being heckled by Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene to “say her name.”

“He’s got no remorse, he’s got no regret. He’s got no empathy,” Trump said of Biden. “No compassion, and worst of all, he has no intention of stopping the deadly invasion that stole precious Laken’s beautiful, American life.”

Allyson Phillips, the mother of the late Riley, criticized Biden in a Facebook comment. She wrote, “Biden does not even KNOW my child’s name — it’s pathetic! If you are going to say her name (even when forced to do so) at least say the right name!”

Biden apologized Saturday for referring to Riley’s alleged murderer as “an illegal” during his State of The Union speech, saying that he should have used the term “undocumented” instead. Biden told MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart that unlike Trump, he didn’t want to “treat any of these people with disrespect.”
