Trump’s Saturday Rally to Be Biggest of 2021

By Newsmax, August 20, 2021

Donald Trump will hold what is expected to be the largest rally of his post presidency  Saturday.

Newsmax has learned the event at York Family Farms in Cullman, Alabama, will feature Trump delivering his most damning indictment of the Biden administration to date.

“Trump will be exposing President Biden’s Afghanistan disaster,” a knowledgeable source told Newsmax.

The outdoor rally will be hosted by the Alabama Republican Party and begin at 7 p.m. ET, with a crowd of at least 50,000 Trump supporters expected to show.

The former president is scheduled to take the stage at 8 p.m. ET.

Newsmax will broadcast the Trump rally live to over 100 million U.S. television homes.

Cullman is in Alabama’s District 4, Trump’s best congressional district in the U.S. in 2016 and 2020.

“Donald Trump and the people of Alabama have a special relationship,” Alabama Republican Party Chairman John Wahl told WAFF-TV.

“The energy out there, the enthusiasm, just how much people are looking forward to this — that really helps me feed off of that energy and get the job done as we’re working on this day and night to make this happen.”

For the safety of those attending, the GOP will distribute free masks and hand sanitizer to whoever wants them, although the masks are not required to enter.

Trump held his first post-presidency rally June 26 at the Lorain County Fairgrounds in Wellington, Ohio.

He followed that with a rally July 3 at the Sarasota Fairgrounds in Sarasota, Florida.

A third rally was staged July 24, at the Federal Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona.

Security at Saturday’s event is expected to be ultra-tight with local and state law enforcement officers and Secret Service agents on hand to direct motorists.

There has been ongoing speculation Trump is preparing to announce he will seek to oust Biden from office in 2024 and will soon announce his candidacy for president.

Last week, Sean Spicer, Trump’s former White House communications director and co-host of Newsmax‘s “Spicer & Co.” predicted Trump will throw his hat in the ring.

Fox News has declined airing Trump’s rallies live with Newsmax being the only major cable news channel to cover them.

Taliban Leaders Freely Used Twitter and Facebook’s WhatsApp as They Took Power in Afghanistan

According to Reuters,

“The Taliban’s rapid takeover of Afghanistan poses a new challenge for big U.S. tech companies on handling content created by a group considered to be terrorists by some world governments.”

The challenge really isn’t about “handling content” at all. The solution is simple: strip jihadists of their accounts. Instead, Twitter and Facebook are now waffling, even though they rapidly swing into censorship mode to crack down on the content of conservatives, including even the former President of the United States, Donald Trump.

It isn’t the first time Twitter rolled out the red carpet for bloodthirsty jihadists. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khameini celebrated jihad terror against Israel on Twitter.

Taliban soldiers are now going door to door forcibly marrying girls as young as 12, and forcing them into sex slavery, but to Facebook and Twitter, it’s a “content challenge” on whether or not to host the Taliban.

How do Facebook and Twitter now answer questions about their globalist, “progressive” bias in favor of the most barbaric human rights abusers, while continuing to crack down on and silence supporters of Judeo-Christian democracies, human rights defenders and truth-tellers? They have no answers, so they get their mainstream media cronies to minimize this serious issue for them, and buy time for them until the next news cycle.

To Facebook and Twitter, conservative truth-tellers are the “extremists” and “terrorists” (“Islamophobes,” too), not the Taliban, al-Qaeda, Iran or the Muslim Brotherhood.

WhatsApp shut down the Taliban’s helpline in Kabul. Much more must be done.

Taliban’s Afghanistan takeover presents fresh challenge for social media companies

by Elizabeth Culliford and Kanishka Singh, Reuters, August 16, 2021:

Aug 16 (Reuters) – The Taliban’s rapid takeover of Afghanistan poses a new challenge for big U.S. tech companies on handling content created by a group considered to be terrorists by some world governments.

Social media giant Facebook confirmed on Monday that it designates the Taliban a terrorist group and bans it and content supporting it from its platforms.

But Taliban members have reportedly continued to use Facebook’s end-to-end encrypted messaging service WhatsApp to communicate directly with Afghanis despite the company prohibiting it under rules against dangerous organizations.

A Facebook Inc (FB.O) spokesperson said the company was closely monitoring the situation in the country and that WhatsApp would take action on any accounts found to be linked with sanctioned organizations in Afghanistan, which could include account removal.

On Twitter Inc (TWTR.N), Taliban spokesmen with hundreds of thousands of followers have tweeted updates during the country’s takeover.

Asked about the Taliban’s use of the platform, the company pointed to its policies against violent organizations and hateful conduct but did not answer Reuters questions about how it makes its classifications. Twitter’s rules say it does not allow groups who promote terrorism or violence against civilians….

These include controversial blocks of former U.S. President Donald Trump for inciting violence around the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and bans on Myanmar’s military amid a coup in the country….

VIDEO: “Wait Until The Cameras Go Home,” Brigitte Gabriel Warns About Horrifying Future in Afghanistan

In an interview, Brigitte Gabriel warned America about the true intentions behind the Taliban’s treatment of women under their jihadist regime:

“Wait until the cameras go home. Wait until the West loses interest in Afghanistan. Now it’s a top story. But will it be a top story when no reporters are going to be allowed inside? And that’s when the Taliban is going to take over and really do whatever they wish to do to the women.”

Fall of the Roman Republic & The Fall of America’s Constitutional Republic — History Repeats Itself

Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” – George Santayana

Internal turmoil provoked in 133 BC by economic stagnation in the city of Rome , slave revolts without, and dissension in the military precipitated a period of unrelenting political upheaval known as the Roman Revolution, the Late Roman Republic , or the Fall of the Republic, 133-27 BC.

Why Did The Roman Republic Fall?

Was it due to external circumstances (barbarian invasion, famine, plague, etc.) or to internal ones?

American must now take notice or be condemned to repeating history.

Douglass Jacoby in a podcast lists the following as symptoms of a “sick Roman society”:

  • Mounting love of show and luxury.
  • Widening gap between the very rich and the very poor.
  • An increased desire to live off of the state.
  • Freakishness in the arts, masquerading as originality.
  • Absorption in entertainment.
  • Obsession with sex.

I would add to this list the following:

  • Godlessness and paganism.
  • Worshiping oneself and not a higher spiritual calling.
  • The indoctrination of a societies youth to believe that communism is better than capitalism.
  • A loathing of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
  • Judging people by the color of their skin rather than the content of their characters.
  • An obsession with the occult.
  • And finally – The Covid pandemic.

Covid and the Fall of the U.S. Constitutional Republic

Covid has become the primary means by which the state has taken away the rights of the individual to choose. Logic and science have been supplanted with fear. The following dictates have lead inextricably to a tyrannical state:

  • Mask mandates.
  • Shutdown of businesses.
  • Vaccine mandates.
  • Vaccine passports.

Government restrictions, using Covid as the weapon of choice, have now become the new normal in America. Government control of individual liberty, using healthcare as a means to the end of freedom of choice, is the real deadly virus.

Covid is control writ large.

The siren song of big government is “we’re here to protect you and your health by imposing un-Constitutional mandates upon you, your family, your business and your individual liberties.” We are here to protect you from yourself.

Conclusion

What happened to the ideal my body my choice?

Choice is key to any society, particularly when it comes to the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution.

Without the freedom of choice there is no republic. Choosing where one lives, how many children they have, where they go to school, the career they want, making decisions about their life, liberty and happiness are the bedrock of a free society.

Take any one of these choices away and you tear down the republic. It happened to Rome in 133-27 BC and it is happening right now in America in AD 2021.

I have lived thru four pandemics, including two under the Obama administration SARS and H1N1. Covid is a strain of SARS. I have never witnessed the massive media and government narratives designed to take away every American’s freedoms of choice. Never!

Prove me wrong.

Biden Tells Secretary Of Education To Use ‘Legal Actions’ Against Governors Banning Mask Mandates

DeSantis OBLITERATES Biden for Pushing Obsessive Mask Mandates while Afghanistan Falls.

In his recent address to the nation, President Biden did not focus on America’s humiliation in Afghanistan, or the humanitarian crisis at our Southern boarder. Instead, President Biden announced that he was directing the Secretary of Education to use ‘legal actions’ against Governor DeSantis, Governor Abbott, and others, who are banning mask mandates in schools. Biden then ran away after the speech, and refused to take any questions from the press. The Biden Administration is a total disaster. A nightmare.

The world is burning and Nero Joe is attacking American governors standing for American freedom.

Biden Tells Secretary Of Education To Use ‘Legal Actions’ Against Governors Banning Mask Mandates

By Daily Wire, August 18, 2021

President Joe Biden addressed the nation on the topic of the coronavirus on Wednesday, going a step further in his battle against specific Republican governors who have pushed back against mask mandates in schools.

Biden said, “For those who aren’t eligible for the vaccine yet — children under the age of 12 — masks are the best available protection for them and the adults around them. That’s why we need to make sure children are wearing masks in school.”

“Unfortunately, as we’ve seen throughout this pandemic, some politicians are trying to turn public safety measures — that is, children wearing masks in school — into political disputes for their own political gain. Some are even trying to take power away from local educators by banning masks in school. They’re setting a dangerous tone,” Biden added.

He went on to say, “Today, I am directing the Secretary of Education — an educator himself — to take additional steps to protect our children. This includes using all of his oversight authorities and legal actions, if appropriate, against governors who are trying to block and intimidate local school officials and educators.”

The Biden administration has been looking for ways to get further involved in states’ affairs, specifically taking aim at Florida and Texas where Republican Governors Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott, respectively, have signed executive orders banning mask mandates.

According to The Daily Wire, “Fox News  Saturday that U.S. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona wrote a letter to DeSantis and Florida Education Commissioner Richard Corcoran informing them that the federal government would provide funds to school districts that defy the governor’s order and risk losing state funding.”

“Florida’s recent actions to block school districts from voluntarily adopting science-based strategies for preventing the spread of COVID-19 that are aligned with the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) puts students and staff at risk,” Cardona wrote.

“We are eager to partner with [the Florida Department of Education] on any efforts to further our shared goals of protecting the health and safety of students and educators,” Cardona added. “If FLDOE does not wish to pursue such an approach, the Department will continue to work directly with the school districts and educators that serve Florida’s students.”

Cardona sent a similar letter to Republican Governor of Texas Greg Abbott, saying that the Department of Education “stands with” the educators who are “working to safely reopen schools and maintain safe in-person instruction.”

Abbott has been in a legal battle with local districts that wish to defy his executive order banning mask mandates and impose their own restrictions on regions and schools.

Governors across the country are continuing to take steps to give parents the ability to make decision about their children’s health.

Republican Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed an executive order Monday giving parents the ability to make decisions about whether their kids wear masks in schools.

He stated, “Right now, some of the greatest frustration is occurring in our K-12 schools, especially around the issue of mask mandates. While local decision-making is important, individual decision-making by a parent on issues regarding the health and well-being of their child is the most important.”

No one cares more about the health and well-being of a child than a parent. I am signing an executive order today that allows parents to opt their children out of a school mask mandate if either a school board or health board enacts one over a district,” he added.

His executive order says, “a student’s parent or guardian shall have the right to opt out of any order or requirement for a student in kindergarten through twelfth-grade to wear a face covering at school, on a school bus, or at school functions, by affirmatively notifying in writing the local education agency or personnel at the student’s school.”

Terror-Supporting Twitter Says Taliban Can Stay On Platform

But I am banned. And Trump is banned. Twitter is a terrorist organization.

Twitter says Taliban can stay on platform if they obey rules

By: Samuel Chamberlain, New York Post, August 17, 2021:

In a statement obtained by Mediaite Tuesday, Twitter ducked the question of whether it would bar representatives of the Islamic fundamentalist government from getting their message out 280 characters at a time — saying only that it would “continue to proactively enforce” its rules outlawing the “glorification of violence, platform manipulation and spam.”

“Twitter’s top priority is keeping people safe, and we remain vigilant,” the statement added.

Both official Taliban spokesmen have unverified accounts on Twitter. One, Zabihullah Mujahid, has more than 310,000 followers. His most recent tweet as of Tuesday afternoon promoted a press conference by Taliban leaders and drew hundreds of responses, many of them from well-wishers.

“Dear Zabihullah Mujahid Saib, First of all, I welcome you and then congratulate you on the complete liberation of Afghanistan,” read a typical message.

The other spokesman, Qari Yousaf Ahmadi, has more than 63,000 followers, and gained notoriety during the recent fighting for tweeting reports about the capture of various cities as the Taliban swept through the Afghan countryside.

Big Tech critics have expressed outrage over Twitter’s tolerance toward the Taliban after it banned Trump in the aftermath of the deadly Jan. 6 riot at the US Capitol. The company also recently suspended Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) after she questioned the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines, but has permitted accounts affiliated with repressive governments like China and Iran to spread anti-American and anti-Israel propaganda.

“Why on God’s green Earth does the Taliban spokesman have an active Twitter account but not the former President of the United States?,” Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) tweeted Sunday. “Who’s [sic] side is the AMERICA BASED Big-Tech companies on?”

“Freedom and democracy are not doing well when #Twitter continues to ban #Trump’s account but relays the #Taliban spokesperson’s without any second thoughts,” agreed Jérôme Rivière, a member of the European Parliament representing France’s far-right National Rally party.

“The Taliban is sanctioned as a terrorist organization under US law and we have banned them from our services under our Dangerous Organization policies,” a Facebook spokesperson told CNBC.

A spokesperson for the encrypted chat app WhatsApp, which is also owned by Facebook, told Vice News that while “we do not have access to the contents of people’s personal chats; however, if we become aware that a sanctioned individual or organization may have a presence on WhatsApp, we take action.”

Google-owned YouTube vowed to CNN Tuesday that it would “terminate” any account it believes to be operated by the Afghan Taliban, while TikTok told CNBC it is removing content that supports or praises the militant group.

Twitter did not immediately respond to requests for comment by the Post.

Gay Afghan Author Warns: Taliban Will ‘Weed Out,’ ‘Exterminate’ LGBT Community

The practice of killing gays is alive and well in many Muslim countries. The penalty for homosexuality is death in Islam. See HERE. The Taliban will certainly implement the directives in these texts with the utmost barbarity. The LGBT+ community will have to hide for their lives. The Taliban has already vowed to “crush gay men to death by pushing walls onto them.”

While “progressives” have been busy castigating Israel and the West, while capitulating to Islamic supremacists, gays do not live in fear for their lives in Western countries or Israel, as those countries uphold human rights and equality. Leftist women’s rights and gay activists have a blind spot when it comes to Islam.

Taliban will ‘weed out and exterminate’ LGBT+ people in Afghanistan, warns exiled gay author

by Patrick Kelleher, Pink News, August 17, 2021:

Gay Afghan author Nemat Sadat has warned that the Taliban will “weed out and exterminate” the LGBT+ community in Afghanistan following their seismic takeover.

There has been significant concern for the safety and wellbeing of women, girls and LGBT+ people in Afghanistan after the extremist militant group seized power.

The Taliban is expected to enforce its extreme interpretation of Sharia law across Afghanistan, which would see many women, LGBT+ people persecuted. Under it, queer people and women could be sentenced to death.

Speaking to PinkNews, Sadat said there is “no telling” how bad the situation will become for LGBT+ Afghans stuck in the country under Taliban rule.

Sadat and his family left Afghanistan when he was still a baby and they ultimately settled in the United States. In 2012, he returned to his birth city of Kabul to work as a professor of political science at the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF).

Widespread anti-LGBT+ sentiment meant that it was impossible for him to settle there. Warlords spread rumours that he was a practicing homosexual. Sadat reacted to the rumours by advocating for LGBT+ rights on campus and in his classroom.

Shortly afterwards, the Taliban got involved. The extremist group wrote a manifesto claiming AUAF had “become a bastion of gays and lesbians” because of Sadat’s activism, adding that he should be “targeted and killed”…..

On the Same Day Taliban Vowed to Protect Women’s Rights, They Killed a Woman for Not Wearing a Burqa

WATCH: Taliban Soldiers Detaining People in the Streets of Kabul

My latest in PJ Media:

Well, this didn’t take long at all. On Tuesday I noted that Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said: “We are going to allow women to work and study, women are going to be very active in society… we guarantee all their rights within the limits of Islam.” With admirable dispatch, the Taliban on the very same day indelibly illustrated how strictly those “limits of Islam” would be enforced. Fox News reported, also on Tuesday, that “fighters from the group shot and killed a woman in Takhar province after she went out in public without a burqa.”

No one should have been surprised, although some people undoubtedly were. The familiar wishful thinking and willful blindness are already appearing in establishment media circles. Wednesday on CNN, Christiane Amanpour, eager as always to be told soothing falsehoods, interviewed Saad Mohseni, director of the MOBY Group, which describes itself as operating in “South & Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa.”

“Headquartered in Dubai, the group employs over 1,200 individuals across 16 businesses,” and says it “has been widely recognized for its role in bringing news and entertainment to underserved populations.” The MOBY Group website also notes that Mohseni was “named one of 10 men fighting for gender equality by BBC 100 Women 2015.”

Mohseni told Amanpour: “Can the real Taliban stand up please? You have different factions, you have different wings… so we’re not even sure which part of the Taliban will prevail. Will the moderates prevail or will the more conservative ones prevail? It’s too early to tell.” Back in the real world, that is, the part that isn’t reported by CNN, this is arrant nonsense. There has been no evidence whatsoever of “moderate” wings of the Taliban, and any internal differences within the group are not likely to involve issues of women’s rights or relations with non-Muslim entities, as the Taliban’s stance on such matters is entirely dictated by the parameters of Islamic law.

Of course, Amanpour and her colleagues don’t have the faintest idea what Islamic law teaches, and even if they did, would dismiss even explicit teachings from the Qur’an and Sunnah as “extremist” and “fringe” and assume, without the slightest shred of evidence, that the vast majority of devout, knowledgeable and Sharia-adherent Muslims reject those teachings. Amanpour and her ilk cling to their fantasies about moderate Taliban factions and moderates among the Iranian mullahs just as tenaciously as they cling to their wholly baseless imaginings of the true, peaceful teachings of Islam that somehow elude the Taliban, and ISIS, and al-Qaeda, and Boko Haram, and all the rest, despite dedicating their lives to understanding Islam properly and implementing its laws faithfully.

There is more. Read the rest here.

VIDEO: Biden’s Debacle in Afghanistan

During this special Center for Security Policy webinar, three top national security experts who worked for the Trump National Security Council discussed the current crisis in Afghanistan caused by President Biden’s decision to abruptly withdraw all U.S. troops from the country.

Moderating the panel was Center President Fred Fleitz.  Fleitz served as National Security Council Chief of Staff and is a former CIA analyst.  Joining Fleitz was Dr. Victoria Coates and Robert Greenway.

Dr. Coates is Director of the Center’s Program on the Middle East and North Africa.  During the Trump administration, she served as Deputy National Adviser and Senior Director for the Middle East and North Africa in the Trump National Security Council and as a senior adviser to the Secretary of Energy.  Coates also served as national security adviser to Senator Ted Cruz.

Robert Greenway also served as a Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Director for the Middle East and North Africa in the Trump National Security Council. He is currently an Adjunct Fellow at Hudson Institute.  Greenway had a distinguished career as an Army intelligence officer and served three tours in Afghanistan.  These included in 2001 as the Operations Officer for a Special Mission Unit; in 2011 as Senior Intelligence Advisor to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence and Senior Intelligence Advisor to the Commander, International Security Assistance Forces; and in 2014-15 as Senior Intelligence Advisor to the Commander Combined Special Operations Task Force Afghanistan/NATO Joint Special Operations Component Command-Afghanistan.

The panel engaged in a wide-ranging discussion on the reasons for the rapid fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban, including Biden’s order for a rapid withdrawal of U.S. troops and problems with the Afghan military.

Greenway discussed security issues in Kabul, including the mission of the 5,000 U.S. troops recently sent to the Kabul airport to evacuate U.S. citizens.  He did not see how American citizens will be able to make their way to the airport to be evacuated.  Greenway also discussed the close relationship between the Taliban and Pakistan and the vast array of arms left behind by the U.S. military now in the hands of the Taliban.

Coates said regarding the catastrophic breakdown of normal planning for such a withdrawal, “I can’t fix the last eight weeks but can I fix the next eight weeks?  I do not think we faced a binary choice between the debacle we have now and 100,000 U.S. troops in Afghanistan.”

Coates went on, “The Taliban appear to have discovered the art of the public relations and their theme appears to be ‘This is not your father’s Taliban.’”  While Coates expressed skepticism that the new Taliban are substantively different from the old Taliban, she recommended scrutiny of their actions, and that the U.S. government consider providing uncensored satellite-based internet access to more remote areas of Afghanistan where the Taliban might deploy violent, repressive terrorist tactics against Afghanis with no way to communicate their crimes to the outside world.

Fleitz stressed the Afghanistan crisis is a huge embarrassment for the United States and for President Biden. Fleitz primarily put the blame on Biden for his decision to suddenly withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan without a plan and without consulting with the Afghan army or government or with America’s allies.  He believes Biden should fire his national security team in response to this debacle and bring in national security experts with experience and gravitas who can better advise Biden to prevent him from making more ill-advised national security decisions in the future that undermine America’s reputation and security.

Coates and Greenway both observed that the abandonment of Bagram airbase north of Kabul was both dangerous and unnecessary.  Based on their trip to the Al Asad airbase in Iraq with President Trump during Christmas, 2018, they suggested he would have been more appreciative of the strategic importance of this base.

Greenway pointed out that some $83 billion in U.S. arms and equipment had been abandoned to the Taliban, and while the terrorist group would have a difficult time maintaining and deploying much of it, they now control “one of the largest arms depots in the region.”

Both Coates and Greenway highlighted the looming 20th anniversary of the 9/11 al Qaida attacks on America that launched the Afghanistan operation in the first place, and the need to bring heightened vigilance to this anniversary.  Greenway emphasized the long and loyal relationship between the Taliban and al Qaida and predicted that fresh terrorist attacks are close to inevitable: “Now it is simply a matter of when.”

What Makes the Taliban Tick?

It is horrible to see the collapse of Afghanistan and thousands trying to flee the country before the Islamists take complete control there. What motivates the Taliban who once again are violently asserting power in that country? What makes the Taliban tick?

There’s no mystery here. In some ways, it’s the same impulse at work in our world for the last 1400 years, ever since the hordes of Mohammed, Islam’s prophet, arose from the Arabian desert and took over as much territory as possible.

Mohammed himself said, “I have been ordered to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshiped but Allah, that Mohammed is Allah’s prophet, that they offer prayers and give obligatory charity. If they perform all of that, they save their lives and their property” (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 2, Number 24).

After Mohammed’s death in 632, Muslims spread Islam by the sword, conquering from the Arabian Peninsula throughout the Mediterranean world.

They even conquered much of Spain and tried to conquer France, until Charles Martel, the grandfather of Charlemagne, defeated them at the Battle of Tours in 732.

One of the most astute authors commenting on Islam is Robert Spencer, director of JihadWatch.org and author of many books on Islam, including The Complete Infidel’s Guide to the Koran. I’ve been privileged to interview him often.

I once asked him about the notion we repeatedly hear: “Islam is a religion of peace.”

He told me, “Islam is a religion of peace, yes. The peace that Islam envisions is the peace that will come when the whole world is ruled by Islamic law and Muslims have the obligation to wage war against non-Muslims until that time, and so it’s a religion of violence and hatred and supremacies, ultimately culminating in an era of peace that will see the essential enslavement of non-Muslims.”

Dr. Zhudi Jasser is the president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy. As a Muslim, who disagrees with the Taliban and all violent forms of Islam, he has chosen America as his adopted home. (Sadly, his views are not widely shared by many of his fellow Muslims.)

Said Jasser of America’s creators, “I think our founding fathers demonstrated that the best society is that founded by religious individuals as they were religious Christians but were escaping theocracy.”

So what is the problem with groups like the Taliban? Jasser says, “The root cause, I believe, as a Muslim, is the ideology of Islamism. The ideology of wanting to create Islamic states that are supremacist…That no other legal system takes precedence.”

The Taliban are strict Islamists, who believe in the legal system of Sharia, which is strict Islamic law.

A decade ago I interviewed Nonie Darwish, author of the books, Now They Call Me Infidel and Cruel and Usual Punishment. She said, “The word Sharia is an Arabic word meaning literally ‘the way.’ It’s the way to live, and Sharia is a set of very detailed laws.”

Sharia law is found throughout the Qur’an and the Hadith, the collection of the sayings of Mohammed. Nonie notes, “Whatever Mohammed did in the 7th century became the law for the Muslims to live by forever.”

Sharia law is often presented to the West as religious law, simply governing how Muslims live out Islam in their private lives. But Sharia law governs everything from how to wash your hands to how to run a country.

Nonie told me, “There’s a law in Sharia that tells Muslims…anybody on the street can murder an apostate and he will not be punished for it.”

Ironically, many American liberals who always clamor about women’s rights can’t seem to see how repressive strict Islamic law is toward women. Before the American invasion of Afghanistan to avenge 9/11, the Taliban were often killing women teachers and women doctors in Afghanistan.

Wherever Sharia law is in effect, women (not to mention minority religious groups) are second class citizens. Under strict Sharia law, a woman’s testimony in court is worth half of a man’s testimony. If a woman claims to be raped, it can only be established to be truthful by the testimony of four male eyewitnesses.

A woman cannot be caught with a man in public who is not her husband or relative. Nonie notes, “The police go into coffeehouses to check if the male sitting with the female is a blood relative or not.” If a woman is caught with a non-relative, she will face public flogging—under Sharia.

A woman under strict Islamic law must be covered from head to toe. And on and on it goes with strict Sharia law.

BRUTALITY: Harrowing Images Show Barbaric Taliban Imposing Islamic Law

Islamic rule. Or as Biden clown show says, “inclusive.”

Democrat say, “Respect it, islamophobes!”

‘Taliban is coming’ Crying Afghan woman pleads for help from US troops

Distressing images show the barbaric reality in Afghanistan after the Taliban seized control of the country, with women and children covered in blood and militants patrolling streets with rocket launchers — all despite the Taliban’s promise of a more peaceful regime.

Shocking scenes captured across Afghanistan on Tuesday — the day the Taliban’s longtime spokesman promised peace and an “inclusive, Islamic government” — showed militant mobs instead firing high-powered weapons in the air and randomly beating passersby.

Video footage shared on social media also shows groups of people being corralled by armed groups, some carrying what appear to be rocket launchers while others patrol on rooftops.

In one image taken by the Los Angeles Times, a woman is seen apparently unconscious on the ground near Kabul Airport with blood over her head and hands, while a young boy is carried with his hair completely soaked in blood.

The child was completely limp, with his eyes rolling back in his head, the paper’s photojournalist, Marcus Yam, recalled.

Taliban Declares Girls Above 15 To be ‘Gifted To Fighters As Wives’

The Taliban has issued a letter asking parents to “gift their daughters” as wives to its terrorists. Women have been told not to leave their homes alone. Men are being told to grow their beards.

Feminists are hiding behind their #metto hashtags.

This was in July. So we knew.

Joe Biden’s Litany of Lies

After hiding out in his basement for four days, Joe Biden (I refuse to call him “President”), on Monday finally addressed his man-caused disaster unfolding in Afghanistan. That entire presentation was a mind-boggling litany of bald-faced lies and misdirections. We’ll go through each statement.

Lie #1. Biden claimed his hands were tied because of the agreements President Trump made with the Taliban.

Of course blaming Trump was the predictable first step, but why were his hands tied? He reversed every other Trump policy. What stopped him here? Furthermore, he mischaracterized the deal Trump made. It was contingent upon the Taliban keeping their word, and did not envision abandoning Afghanistan altogether as Biden has done. It meant continuing to provide air support and intelligence, and certainly not abandoning Bagram airfield or allowing the Taliban to seize military hardware.

Biden ignored all military advice in taking the rash, unprecedented action of ordering our military out in the middle of the night. This was not a withdrawal, it was abandonment—a complete abdication of responsibility that is leading to a massive humanitarian crisis.

Lie #2. This was his biggest lie. He said that he didn’t want to send more of our men-at-arms into harm’s way to die in a war already 20 years old.

No one asked him to.

Biden said this to misdirect our attention away from this calamitous outcome by tugging at our heart strings. We all wanted to see an end to the squandering of precious lives and resources in this war that seemed to go nowhere. However, over the past year, no American lives have been lost in combat. Since 2014, there have been a total of 92 U.S. combat casualties.

He sounded sickeningly self-righteous in pronouncing his determination to stay out of Afghanistan to avoid further U.S. casualties. Yet now he is sending 7,000 troops back into Afghanistan to rescue Americans and some Afghans (certainly not all who probably need it) from the disaster he created. This is over three times the number of Americans in Afghanistan before our withdrawal last month. And this is primarily to minimize the horrible optics for Biden and the Democrats. It seems obvious they couldn’t care less about anything else.

It only became necessary because we abandoned Bagram airport in the middle of the night, at the last moment, without even warning the Afghan commander. What responsible leader would ever do such a thing?

And will those Afghans they rescue be vetted by the utterly corrupt DHS? The Special Immigrant Visa program, designed for Iraqis and Afghanis who assisted us in war, is absolutely mired in fraud. Likely we will get some jihadis in the mix. We have before.

Lie #3. Biden said that the Afghan military was unwilling to fight and sacrifice for its own country.

The Afghan army had taken over the fighting entirely. We only supported them with intelligence and air power. While we have lost over 3,200 lives in this war, the Afghan military has lost over 66,000, along with 47,000 civilians. It is a literal slap in the face for the President of the United States to make such an insulting and utterly false claim. There were problems within the Afghan military, of that there is little doubt, but it defies belief that anyone would say they haven’t sacrificed or weren’t willing to fight. And now they stand to suffer even more.

The Taliban are reportedly going door-to-door seeking people who worked for us or our allies in any capacity. They are shooting people in the streets. The freedom many Afghans enjoyed because of the changes we made in their country over the past 20 years will now have that taken from them.

Lie #4. This was a lie by omission. Biden never mentioned why he decided to abandon Afghanistan in the middle of the night. He fled the room as soon as his little speech was over, denying media the opportunity to ask that important question.

Worse, the Taliban have captured tons of war-making supplies and equipment, including humvees, armed mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles (MRAPs) helicopters, drones, weapons, ammunition and other materiel worth $83 billion. Overnight the Taliban have become the best-equipped terrorist group in the world.

This catastrophe is so bad and was so avoidable, it is difficult to believe it was a mistake. Joe Biden, the Democrats and their allies in Antifa, Black Lives Matter and other Marxist organizations have been deliberately attempting to deconstruct every aspect of our society that made us great and keeps us stable and prosperous. I explain this strategy in full in the best-selling book, Who Was Karl Marx, the Men the Motives and the Menace Behind Today’s Rampaging American Left.

We should not be surprised by any of this. Joe Biden is a pathological liar. In the past he has claimed:

  • He was the only one in his class to go to law school on a full scholarship
  • He ended up in the top half of his class
  • He was the outstanding student in his political science class
  • He graduated with three degrees, earning 165 credits when he only needed 123

All lies.

  • He had a 1/2 scholarship
  • He ended up near the bottom of his class: 76 in a class of 85 at his law school
  • He was not the outstanding political science student
  • He graduated with only one degree, and barely at that

In speeches he has plagiarized British Labor Leader Neil Kinnock, Bobby Kennedy, JFK and Hubert Humphrey.

He also cheated in law school, plagiarizing others’ work. When cornered about it, he said, “I’ve done some dumb things, and I’ll do dumb things again.”

Yes, and now we are paying for it.

This latest action was taken to assure America lost this war in the most humiliating and demoralizing way possible. President Obama did the same thing in Iraq, though he was not as blatant. This is part and parcel of everything we see the Democrat Party doing in America today. It is a strategy to overwhelm our society with problems, regret, anxiety and grief. A society so stricken is weak and vulnerable.

Joe Biden was almost certainly taking his orders from Communist China. His entire family’s scandal-ridden relationship with China puts Biden under their control. He is not on our side! China and the Russians have had their eyes on Afghanistan for decades, and now, by recognizing the Taliban as the legitimate leaders of Afghanistan, China has shown its hand.

A Taliban-led Afghanistan could also become a nuclear power if Pakistan decides to do more to help them. Pakistan, our ‘ally,” betrayed us at every turn, trained many of the Taliban in Pakistani madrassas, and provided safe haven, aid and comfort to our enemy.

Joe Biden did make one true statement, although he meant it to make himself look good, not to take responsibility. He owns every parcel of this disaster.

PODCAST: Biden Fiddled While America Burned

Two more significant snafus emerged from the Biden administration last week: begging to OPEC for gasoline, and the fall of Afghanistan. Both events have shaken the credibility of the administration in the eyes of not just the Republicans, but of the Democrats as well. It is like when the country heard the legendary call from Apollo 13, “Houston, we’ve had a problem here.” Americans saw it the same way this past week, which has shaken our confidence in the president and the country overall.

First came President Biden’s call to the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to increase production in order to offset spiraling inflation in the United States. OPEC refused as they saw no reason to increase more oil than what they currently produce.

In response to the president’s call, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, along with notable oil producers from his state, claimed Texas was ready and able to increase production provided the Biden administration “just stay out of the way,” meaning lifting the operating burdens imposed by the president.

Keep in mind, these regulations were implemented as an attempt to reduce our dependency on fossil fuels and polluting our environment. This means the Biden administration believes the Middle East can do a more responsible job in this regard. Huh? Their policy also means he would rather take jobs away from Americans and transfer them to the OPEC countries. I guess the Biden administration wants the energy resources, but doesn’t want to get their hands dirty.

Over the last few years, we finally achieved energy independence and was actually selling gas and oil to other countries, but this all came to a screeching halt this year. By being independent, it was no longer necessary to become immersed in Middle Eastern entanglements as policemen, thereby saving American lives. By forcing Mid-East states to cooperate as opposed to depending on the United States also encourages peace treaties, such as those between Israel, the UAE, Bahrain, and the Sudan. Imagine; peace in the Middle East. Who-da-thunk-it.

Next we come to the fall of Afghanistan, which seemed to crumble at warp speed before our eyes, making the fall of Viet Nam look like an orderly fire drill. I have veteran friends who feel disgraced by how the president handled the collapse. The scenes of people trying to flee the Kabul capital at the airport was reminiscent of the opening scene from the movie “Lost Horizon.”

By abandoning Afghanistan, the president has created a Jihadist state. The Taliban released ISIS and Taliban fighters from Afghan jails who will naturally join their army. More than this, Afghanistan is now the go-to place for frustrated Middle East terrorists to re-group and start again.

Because there wasn’t an exit strategy, the Taliban seized American munitions and equipment, such as a fleet of Blackhawk helicopters. They may not have anyone to fly them yet, but they can sell them to the highest bidder, such as China who would like to study their strengths and weaknesses.

The atrocities being performed by the Taliban, particularly to women and children, is offensive to everyone. Knowing this would likely happen, why wasn’t there a plan to shelter the helpless?

In hindsight, I believe nation building is wrong for third world countries like Afghanistan. These are primitive people who have lived under autocratic rule for thousands of years. They simply couldn’t handle the concept of living as a republic. No wonder the Afghan leaders fled the country.

Most likely, we will have to fight the Taliban again sometime down the road.

My veteran friends claim the fear now is that America is viewed as impotent militarily and politically. We no longer have the wherewithal to get things done. Further, such actions will encourage the Chinese to try something, such as taking over Taiwan.

The fact President Biden was resting in Camp David, while Afghanistan was savaged, did not sit well with the American people. Afterwards, when he finally spoke up, he claimed nothing was wrong and the chaos was to be expected. Even the News Media didn’t buy this one.

Between illegal immigration, oil production, and Afghanistan, we look rather silly right now. As for President Biden, his credibility is shot, along with his ability to lead. Nobody in the international community will take him seriously, including Americans, there was simply too many missed queues along the way.

As my veteran friends say, these are dark days.

Keep the Faith!
