DHS’ Mayorkas: Silicon Valley ‘Committed’ to Curbs on Speech

In a Bloomberg interview on December 14, open-borders enthusiast and Department of Homeland Security chief Alejandro Mayorkas admitted that the nation’s BIg Tech overlords want to curb Americans’ speech that they deem to be “misinformation.”

“I think they’re very committed to doing so,” Mayorkas said. “I had very robust discussions with individuals [in Silicon Valley and the tech sector]. You know, the How to accomplish it?’ is something that is not easily navigated. We recognize that the First Amendment concerns are extraordinarily important. It’s a founding principle of our country. I think they’re very dedicated to doing so. And I think the ‘How to’ and ‘How we can work together’… is something we’re all working through.”

He added, “Misinformation — pointedly, disinformation — has very serious and significant ramifications for [the Department of] homeland security [and] the integrity of our election system. The security of our election system is a prime example of that…

“I think that false narratives present a threat to our security. The propagation of false narratives is something to be condemned. We need our leaders to step up and fight against it. Because the words of leaders, they matter quite a bit. They can be very influential in the public discourse. The Department of Homeland Security, our work, rests often at the epicenter of the country’s [political] divide. And the country’s divide is something that has security implications, and it’s also very saddening.”

False narratives are indeed a threat to our national security. They include narratives such as: who actually won the 2020 election; how effective and safe is the COVID vaccine; the founding and history of our country; which racial movement is the real domestic terror threat; which political party poses the biggest threat to election integrity; and many more — all propagated by the far-left Biden administration and a complicit media, and assisted by the Big Tech companies and their suppression of truth on the internet.

Mayorkas and the Big Tech overlords pay lip service to respecting free speech, but in fact they see it as an obstacle to controlling which narratives are acceptable, and which are “misinformation.”

Mayorkas Blames Trump for the Border Chaos

In an August 2, 2021 interview with NBC newswoman Andrea Mitchell, Mayorkas blamed former President Donald Trump for the record wave of migrants who were now crossing the U.S. border during the Biden Administration. “We certainly have a challenge at the border,” said Mayorkas. “We’re following an administration that frankly dismantled our capabilities to address it, and so we are building it from the ground up. We lost four years of investing in the countries from which these individuals are migrating. Our safe and orderly systems were torn down, so we’re rebuilding them. And our plan is in place, and we’re executing it.”

PODCAST: CDC Warns that 15,000 Americans Will Die Each Week by Christmas from Getting VAXXED

A situation update by Health Ranger Report states:

In a stunning development that confirms the mass vaccine die-off is accelerating, the CDC now openly admits that 15,600 Americans will die each week by Christmas, with deaths continuing through the first part of 2022.

Natural News has learned that the CDC’s early warning alert system which is tied into US hospitals is throwing out a large number of red flags indicating the leading edge of a mass die-off wave among the vaccinated. In a panic, the CDC put its propaganda machine to try to tell people the deaths were caused by covid, instead of the vaccine.

By the spring of 2022, we are looking at a total of at least 600,000 Americans killed by covid vaccines, and probably closer to one million.

Watch the shocking podcast here:

In a December 15th, 2021 column titled “CDC issues grim forecast warning that weekly COVID cases will jump by 55% to 1.3 MILLION by Christmas Day and that deaths will surge by 73% to 15,600 a week as Omicron becomes dominant strainMansur Shaheen U.S. Deputy Health Editors for the DAILYMAIL.COM reported:

  • The CDC warns that there will be as many as 1.3 million new COVID-19 cases over the week of Christmas, and a 73% increase in Covid deaths by early January
  • The Omicron COVID-19 variant has been sequenced 241 times in 37 U.S. states, including Washington D.C., as the variant continues to spread nationwide
  • The CDC reported Tuesday that the variant now accounts for 3% of sequenced of cases – a seven-fold increased from last week, although in NY and NJ the variant is believed to be behind 13% of cases
  • It is feared that a ‘tidal wave’ of Omicron is headed for US shores, with the UK recording its biggest one day case total ever on Thursday-  78,610 – with 10,000 of those cases confirmed as Omicron
  • One of the largest US outbreaks of the Omicron variant to date is believed to have occurred at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where almost all 930 cases over the past week are believed to be of the variant
  • All of the confirmed Omicron cases in the Cornell University are among people who are fully vaccinated, and some of them are in people who’ve also had boosters
  • Cases in the U.S. have increased by 46% over the past two weeks, and deaths are up 40% – as the country eclipsed 800,000 total deaths and 50 million total cases earlier this week
  • In the UK, cases continue to grow, though deaths caused by the virus have actually decreased over the past two weeks
  • A recent South African study finds that Omicron spread faster than other virus variants, but is 20% less likely to cause hospitalization

Grim new figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have predicted that US COVID-19 deaths will soar by 73 per cent to 15,600 a week by January 8, and that cases will rocket to 1.3 million a week by Christmas Day.

The agency revealed projections on Wednesday afternoon that show America will suffer up to 15,600 new Covid deaths a week as of January 8 – or 2,228 deaths per day – a 58 per cent increase from 8,900 deaths currently being recorded each week, equivalent to 1,285 deaths a day.

Another CDC prediction estimates that between 620,000 and 1.3 million Americans will have been diagnosed with Covid by the week that ends on December 25 – Christmas Day.

Biden: Unvaxxed will ‘overwhelm’ hospitals in ‘winter of illness and death’

By Steven Nelson, NY Post, December 16, 2021

President Biden sounded like he’d been watching “Game of Thrones” as he warned Thursday that the unvaccinated “will soon overwhelm” US hospitals and vaccine refusers will experience “a winter of severe illness and death.”

“It’s here now and it’s spreading and it’s going to increase,” Biden said of the new Omicron variant of COVID-19 at the White House, seated near his chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci.

“For [the] unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — the unvaccinated, for themselves, their families and the hospitals they will soon overwhelm,” Biden said.

He urged people to seek out vaccine “booster” shots to prevent school shutdowns and business restrictions.

“Go get boosted if you’d had your first two shots. If you haven’t, go get your first shot. It’s time, it’s time — it’s past time,” Biden said.

“And we’re going to protect our economic recovery if we do this. We’re going to keep schools and businesses open if we do this. And I want to see everyone around enjoy that. I want to see them enjoy the fact that they’re able to be in school and businesses are open and the holidays are coming.”

Biden took no questions and it’s unclear how US officials determined that hospitals will be overwhelmed. Preliminary data from South Africa show lower rates of hospitalization due to milder symptoms than with past variants of the virus.

According to The Associated Press, hospital admissions for adults diagnosed with COVID-19 in South Africa are 29 percent lower compared to in mid-2020, even after adjusting for vaccination status. But the new variant also is more transmissible, meaning more people are likely to catch it.

Pfizer said last week that preliminary research indicates that the company’s COVID-19 vaccine works against the Omicron variant, especially after three doses. Pfizer said that three doses give people the approximate level of protection as two doses did against the original coronavirus strain. Two doses of the company’s vaccine were about 95 percent effective against transmission of the original strain.

Demonstrators gather during an anti-mandate protest against the Covid-19 vaccine as part of a ‘Global Freedom Movement’ in New York on November 20, 2021.

According to CDC data, 84.6 percent of US adults have had at least one COVID-19 vaccine shot, but just 30 percent have had a booster shot since they became available in recent months. Almost 77 percent of all US resident ages 5 and up have had one shot.

Biden frequently blames unvaccinated people for prolonging the disruption of the coronavirus, saying this year it’s only a “pandemic of the unvaccinated” despite a large number of “breakthrough” cases that are usually mild among vaccinated people.

As a presidential candidate, Biden routinely slammed then-President Donald Trump’s management of the pandemic and vowed he would “shut down the virus.” But this week, the US passed 800,000 deaths since the start of the pandemic — with 400,000 of them on Biden’s watch over nearly 11 months, despite the benefit of vaccines.

Biden on Wednesday smiled and walked away when The Post asked him about his responsibility for the grim milestone and why he hasn’t done more to push for transparency from China on the origins of the outbreak.

Former DC police detective Ted Williams provides insight on preventing smash-and-grab crimes from becoming the ‘new normal’ across the country.

Retail CEOs are calling on Congress for help amid the smash-and-grab lootings that are leaving them grappling with hundreds of thousands of dollars of lost or stolen merchandise. Some of those same companies, however, supported organizations last year that have called to defund or overhaul policing in the United States.

“Many corporate leaders jumped on the woke bandwagon and wrote big checks to organizations that still continue to advocate to defund the police. They did not think of anything beyond not being labeled a racist,” Sean Pritchard, president of the San Jose Police Officers Association, told Fox News Digital Tuesday.

Nearly two dozen CEOs signed the letter to Congress asking for support as theft crimes rage, including the chiefs of Target, Nordstrom, Levi Strauss, Ulta Beauty and Home Depot.

“Leading retailers are concerned about the growing impact organized retail crime is having on the communities we proudly serve,” the letter, which was sent by the Retail Industry Leaders Association to Congress last week reads, highlighting support for the INFORM Consumers Act. “This important legislation will modernize our consumer protection laws to safeguard families and communities from the sale of illicit products and we urge its quick passage.”

Fox News examined public support pledged by the companies last year during nationwide protests and riots following the death of George Floyd, and found many of the companies supported left-wing groups such as Black Lives Matter, the Equal Justice Initiative and the ACLU, which advocate to defund or reform policing in the U.S.

Nordstrom stores, for example, have repeatedly grabbed the nation’s attention in recent weeks due to mobs of looters storming multiple locations in California, leaving hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages and stolen merchandise. CEO Erik B. Nordstrom signed his name to the letter asking for Congressional support, but earlier this year, the company doubled down on its support for Black Lives Matter.

SMASH-AND-GRAB ROBBERIES PLAGUE CITIES WITH LIBERAL DISTRICT ATTORNEYS

Black Lives Matter led the charge last year in rallying Americans to support defunding the police. Co-founder Patrisse Cullors, a self-described “trained Marxist,” said that the way “we actually get real accountability and justice” is through the “demand of defunding law enforcement.”

The calls set off a cascade effect of liberal cities moving millions in funds from police departments and an increase in anti-police sentiments followed by corresponding increases in police resignations and early retirements. Departments across the country are still struggling to recruit new officers.

This year, as some cities reversed course and called for more police officers amid crime spikes, police leaders are taking issue with reform advocates who are now softening their position on defunding the police and spreading “amnesia” on the anti-police sentiment of last year.

“We urge President Biden to move at warp speed to create a vaccine to address our emerging Amnesia virus that has infected politicians, organizations and individuals who are now claiming they never advocated to defund the police, they just wanted to re-imagine policing,” Craig Lally, President of the Los Angeles Police Protective League, told Fox News Digital on Tuesday.

“That is a lie, Black Lives Matter Los Angeles literally advocated to cut the LAPD budget by over 90%, reducing the number of police officers to under 1,000 from a force of 9,700. That means 90% of the rapes, homicides, assaults, follow home and smash and grab robberies would simply not be investigated. We wonder if BLMs Melina Abdullah was going to tell these victims they simply don’t matter. We don’t have amnesia and neither will voters when it’s election time, we will make sure of it,” Lally said.

Lally was referring to Los Angeles BLM leader Melina Abdullah’s recent comments saying that “When we say, ‘Defund the police,’ it doesn’t mean we don’t want public safety. It means we want resources for communities.”

But Black Lives Matter wasn’t alone in its calls to overhaul and change policing. Other organizations such as the Equal Justice Initiative, the National Urban League and Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law advocate for reforms such as how reimagining “public safety and community health,” changing “divisive policing policies” and pushing for bail reform.

These organizations also received donations and support from retail stores calling for action in combating smash-and-grab crimes.

In 2020, Target announced a $10 million commitment to “advancing social justice,” including donations to the National Urban League. The organization outlines on its website that it has “21 Pillars” on “comprehensive and realistic reform and accountability,” including to “collaborate with communities to re-envision public safety” and “change divisive policing policies.”

While famed denim brand Levi Strauss & Co. announced last year it would donate $100,000 to its “longstanding partner, American Civil Liberties Union,” following Floyd’s death.

The ACLU describes itself as “our nation’s guardian of liberty.” But to police leaders on the West Coast coping with the spike in retail crimes, it is the organization to blame for the rampant smash-and-grabs.

POLICE UNIONS BLAME ACLU FOR RASH OF RECENT SMASH-AND-GRAB ROBBERIES: ‘VOTERS WERE LIED TO’

“All one has to do is log onto www.ACLU-watch.com and click a category such as ‘Sexual Offenders’, ‘Weakening Public Safety’ or ‘Dangerous Bail Reform’ to see exactly how this organization has contributed to the crime wave enveloping our nation,” Mike Solan, President of the Seattle Police Officers Guild, told Fox News Digital on Tuesday.

“Many in corporate America have blindly supported the ACLU, maybe not realizing the devastating impact their policies are having on our safety. I would be interested to hear why some corporations are supporting the weakening of rights of rape victims or releasing repeat offenders out on bail to harm again because that is what the ACLU has been fighting for.”

California’s Proposition 47, passed in 2014, has also come under severe scrutiny amid the spike in crimes because it reduced shoplifting charges regarding the theft of $950 or less from felonies to misdemeanors. Among its supporters were the ACLU and then-Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom.

SAN FRANCISCO WOMAN CHARGED 120 TIMES FOR ALLEGED SHOPLIFTING ARRESTED AGAIN, JAILED

Home Depot also pledged $1 million to the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, which has taken issue with bail laws in the U.S., while Ulta Beauty announced it would donate to the Equal Justice Initiative.

The Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law was established in 1963 at the request of President John F. Kennedy, and outlines under its criminal justice web page that it works “to challenge racial disparities within the criminal justice system that result from the criminalization of poverty and contribute to mass incarceration.” The nonpartisan group adds that “pretrial practices that rely on ‘money bail’ and formulaic rather than individualized bail determinations” disproportionately incarcerates people of color.

The Equal Justice Initiative lays out on its website that “tough on crime” policies have led to mass incarceration “rooted in the belief that Black and brown people are inherently guilty and dangerous.” The group also advocates for the reallocations of “funds from traditional policing to services that promote public safety.”

EJI founder Bryan Stevenson told the New Yorker last year that historically, “police have been the face of oppression in many ways” and said – just as protests and riots began forming in late May of 2020 – “we have created a culture that allows our police departments to see themselves as agents of control, and that culture has to shift.”

An Ulta spokesperson told Fox News Wednesday that the company is proud of its work with EJI and its commitment to end mass incarceration and excessive punishment, among other issues.

“As a values-based company, we believe in doing what’s right. As such, we support both the INFORM Act and EJI as they stand for safety and equality, two longstanding priorities at Ulta Beauty,” the statement added.

Now, as the CEOs ask for help in combating widespread crime in their stores, some in Congress are hitting back.

“Help them directly? Hell No. They should be ashamed of themselves,” Republican Texas Rep. Chip Roy told Fox Digital on Tuesday when asked about the companies pleading with Congress for assistance.

“The days of crony capitalism are about to come to an end. But unlike the unprincipled woke corporations bowing down to the altar of so-called ‘environmental, social, and governance’ (ESG) investment to enrich themselves, I will always fight for the rule of law, which will help everyone — including them,” Roy added.

Arizona Rep. Paul Gosar also said he will not support congressional efforts to assist retailers that “backed BLM during their ‘summer of love protests’ and efforts to defund the police.”

“These woke companies made their bed, now they can sleep in it,” he told Fox News on Wednesday.

“This is what happens to the woke, they reap what they sow. What did they expect would happen?”

Police leaders have voiced similar sentiments, saying corporate leaders rushed to make donations in 2020 out of fear of being labeled racist and are now coping will the fallout of fewer officers and more crime.

“Unfortunately, the result of these defund efforts has these CEOs waking up to a retail theft smash and grab nightmare, rampant violence on our streets and a fear of disassociating themselves and their companies from the very individuals and organizations intent on destroying the safety of our communities,” Pritchard added in his comments to Fox News.

Nordstrom and Levi Strauss did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment on the donations and support to the various groups in light of the letter last week. Target referred Fox News to the Retail Industry Leaders Association, adding that its CEO did sign onto the letter to Congress last week, but “we don’t have anything to share beyond what’s contained in the letter.”

The Equal Justice Initiative, the National Urban League, Black Lives Matter and the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law also did not respond to requests for comment on the letter.

Studies Proving Generic Drugs Can Fight COVID Are Being Suppressed

Treatment is never discussed but these failed vaccines with Gd knows what in them are mandated.

Studies Proving Generic Drugs Can Fight COVID Are Being Suppressed

Why do repurposed drugs require numerous trials prior to an agency recommendation, while high-profit, novel, patented drugs get routinely approved after only a single trial?

By Pierre Kory, The Federalist, December 16, 2021:

Omicron emerging in the United States and news of the first reported death in the United Kingdom remind us how little we understand the novel coronavirus, and with vaccines less effective against the new variant, how much we are in need of additional ways to fight it. To broaden our knowledge of COVID-19 and identify the best ways to treat and prevent it, doctors should be able to use every possible safe means at their disposal to help patients. Unfortunately, that is impossible in our current political climate.

Since the summer of 2020, U.S. public health agencies have continually shut down the use or even discussion of generic treatments that are minimally profitable. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded 20 large research studies of patented pharmaceutical industry drugs before only recently (and slowly) agreeing to study repurposed generic medicines.

The Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control have recommended next to none. Instead, the Biden administration has thrown its political weight almost solely behind mass vaccinations, and hospitals and pharmacies have dogmatically followed suit. But this approach is proving insufficient to arrest COVID-19.

Repurposed Generic Medicines That Help Fight COVID

Just look at the evidence on, a widely used generic antidepressant. A randomized controlled trial (RCT) published in November 2020 showed that the drug led to far less clinical deterioration in treated patients. Another, larger, double-blind RCT, published in The Lancet in October of this year, found fluvoxamine reduced COVID-19 mortality rates by up to 91 percent and hospitalizations by two-thirds. This is an FDA-approved drug. Dosed correctly and for such short periods, it is safe. And it costs about a dollar a pill.

These findings have since been further reinforced by another study published by the Journal of the American Medical Association in November, which showed a strong “class effect” of benefits from anti-depressants very similar to fluvoxamine against COVID-19. Yet, despite the large double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, neither the NIH nor the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) has arrived at a recommendation for routine use of these drugs to treat COVID-19.

The NIH to date has ignored the study. Its last update on fluvoxamine dates back to April, more than seven months ago. More disturbing is the fact that the IDSA recently reviewed this high-quality trial, yet still held fast to its recommendation of “do not use outside of a clinical trial.” Why do repurposed drugs require numerous trials prior to an agency recommendation, while high-profit, novel, patented drugs get routinely approved after only a single trial?

A recent and most brazen example is Merck’s expensive new anti-viral COVID-19 drug, molnupiravir. The FDA rapidly approved it based on a single study of modest benefits in mildly ill outpatients, and the Biden administration swiftly agreed to pay $700 per course of treatment. That was all despite the fact the medicine costs about $20 per course to manufacture, according to a World Health Organization consultant, and may prove less effective or even harmful in practice.

With our national debt registering at $2.77 trillion and inflation rampant, building the capacity in our federal government to study cheap, generic medicines would be a smart economic move. But there appears to be no appetite for fiscal prudence or scientific inquiry beyond the expensive, newly minted solutions churned out by our nation’s pharmaceutical industry.

Hospital Bans Proven Treatment

Doctors who don’t toe the line are subjected to censorship and threatened with the loss of their livelihood, regardless of their clinical experience. My colleague Dr. Paul Marik, a scientist-physician practicing in Norfolk, Virginia, is among them. He has treated patients throughout the COVID outbreak and was an early advocate for the use of steroids to treat COVID patients — a practice initially discouraged by federal health officials that has since proven effective.

When evidence first emerged about fluvoxamine, we began studying the medicine and sharing clinical data with physicians in the Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), a non-profit physician group we run together. We added it to our FLCCC protocol seven months ago. Marik began treating his patients with the medicine in addition to steroids and a number of repurposed generic medicines, which contributed to halving deaths in his hospital.

That progress is now in jeopardy: Marik’s employer, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, has forbidden the use of fluvoxamine as well as several other FDA-approved generic drugs to treat COVID-19 — and mortality rates are already rising.

What is the hospital’s justification for denying patients a treatment that’s proving effective in clinical trials? It sounds a lot like the NIH’s website, and rings equally hollow: “Many [of these medicines] do not have published peer-reviewed, RCT [randomized controlled trial] available to assess both efficacy and safety in COVID-19.”

Over the last two years, our political and public health authorities have talked often of trusting science to guide an effective response to this terrible virus, but their actions have more often been dictated by tribalism and greed.

We will surely face new COVID-19 variants after Omicron, and other infectious disease outbreaks in the future. We can prepare by building the capacity in our government to study cost-effective treatments quickly and efficiently, and by empowering doctors to pursue every possible treatment that can help patients.

TRUMP WAS RIGHT: Fentanyl overdoses become No. 1 cause of death among US adults, ages 18-45

Fentanyl overdoses become No. 1 cause of death among US adults, ages 18-45: ‘A national emergency’

More adults between 18 and 45 died of fentanyl overdoses in 2020 than COVID-19, motor vehicle accidents, cancer and suicide

By Audrey Conklin Fox News December 17, 2021:

Former DEA special agent in charge Derek Maltz says ‘we have a chemical weapon attack that nobody’s paying attention to.’

Fentanyl overdoses have surged to the leading cause of death for adults between the ages of 18 and 45, according to an analysis of U.S. government data.

Between 2020 and 2021, nearly 79,000 people between 18 and 45 years old — 37,208 in 2020 and 41,587 in 2021 — died of fentanyl overdoses, the data analysis from opioid awareness organization Families Against Fentanyl shows.

Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that can be deadly even in very small amounts, and other drugs, including heroin, meth and marijuana, can be laced with the dangerous drug. Mexico and China are the primary sources for the flow of fentanyl into the United States, according to the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).

Comparatively, between Jan. 1, 2020, and Dec. 15, 2021, there were more than 53,000 COVID-19 deaths among those between the ages of 18 and 49, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

“This is a national emergency. America’s young adults — thousands of unsuspecting Americans — are being poisoned,” James Rauh, founder of Families Against Fentanyl, said in a statement. “It is widely known that illicit fentanyl is driving the massive spike in drug-related deaths. A new approach to this catastrophe is needed.”

TEXAS SEIZED ENOUGH FENTANYL TO KILL 200 MILLION PEOPLE THIS YEAR ALONE, OFFICIALS SAY

Rauh, who lost his son to an overdose, added that “declaring illicit fentanyl a Weapon of Mass Destruction would activate additional and necessary federal resources to root out the international manufacturers and traffickers of illicit fentanyl and save American lives.”

The DEA on Thursday announced a surge in the sale of fake prescription pills containing deadly opioids on social media platforms like Snapchat.

Experts believe there is a correlation between the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and the recent increase in fentanyl overdoses.

WHAT IS NARCAN? THE LIFESAVING TREATMENT THAT CAN REVERSE OPIOID More adults between 18 and 45 died of fentanyl overdoses in 2020 than any other leading cause of death, including COVID-19, motor vehicle accidents, cancer and suicide. Fentanyl also killed more Americans in general in 2020 than car accidents, gun violence, breast cancer and suicide, according to the analysis of CDC data from Families Against Fentanyl.

Fentanyl deaths doubled from 32,754 fatalities to 64,178 fatalities in two years between April 2019 and April 2021.

In the first five months of 2021 alone, more than 42,600 fentanyl overdose deaths were reported, which represents an increase of more than 1,000 fentanyl deaths per month compared to the same time period in 2020.

“Fentanyl has been found in all the drug supply. That’s why anyone using drugs, not just opioids, should carry naloxone,” Dr. Roneet Lev, emergency physician and former chief medical officer of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), said in a statement. “The only safe place to obtain drugs is the pharmacy.”

Overall drug overdose deaths are expected to surpass 100,000 in 2021, according to preliminary CDC data, representing a 28% increase between April 2020 and April 2021.

President Biden on Wednesday issued an executive order authorizing sanctions against any foreigner engaged in illicit drug trafficking or production.

“I find that international drug trafficking — including the illicit production, global sale and widespread distribution of illegal drugs, the rise of extremely potent drugs such as fentanyl and other synthetic opioids, as well as the growing role of internet-based drug sales — constitutes an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security, foreign policy and economy of the United States,” Biden’s order states.

Fentanyl drug seizures at the border have reached record highs in 2021, according to data from Customs and Border Protection (CBP), as the Biden administration faces a continuing crisis at the southern border.

Border authorities have seized more than 11,000 pounds of fentanyl so far in fiscal year 2021, with less than one month to go, dwarfing the 4,776 pounds seized in fiscal 2020. CBP seizures of other drugs, including marijuana, cocaine and heroin have generally decreased since 2018.

Experts recommend people who use any kind of drug carry Narcan, a lifesaving medicine also known as naloxone, which has the ability to reverse symptoms of an overdose and potentially save lives, according to Family First Intervention.

After Gaslighting Us About ‘White Supremacist Terror,’ Biden’s Handlers Admit Jihad Still a ‘Pervasive Threat’

My latest in PJ Media:

We all know that “white supremacists” are the biggest terror threat the nation faces today; we know this because Joe Biden’s handlers keep insisting it is so. Last May, Gestapo chief Merrick Garland insisted that violence by white supremacists constituted “the most dangerous threat to our democracy.” Yahoo News noted that this claim “reflects near-universal consensus among national security experts, including those who worked for the Trump administration.”

Then in November, FBI and Homeland Security Department officials reiterated the assertion that “white supremacists” and other “domestic extremists” constitute the foremost terror threat the nation faces. The only thing lacking in this scenario is actual white supremacist terrorists, and even Biden’s handlers appear to be feeling the pinch; on Thursday the State Department actually admitted that jihad terrorists, which they have hitherto ignored, are still “a persistent and pervasive threat worldwide.”

This is a sharp departure from the Biden gang’s previous line. It was only six weeks ago that, according to the UK’s Independent, the feds “once again warned members of Congress that white supremacists and other domestic extremists pose as great a threat to the US as Islamic State militants, a familiar warning to lawmakers after repeated advisories have pointed to the rise of racist violence and conspiracy theories that have proliferated online.”

But on Thursday, the State Department stated in a report that after the Islamic State (ISIS) lost its territory in Iraq and Syria, the jihad terror group “and its branches continued to mount a worldwide terrorism campaign, carrying out deadly attacks globally.” This jihad activity continued despite the fact that “the United States and its partners made significant major strides against terrorist organizations.” In this, the report was actually referring to advances that the Trump administration made against the forces of the global jihad through 2020, the report concluded about Western anti-terrorism efforts through the end of 2020, without calling attention to the fact that the Biden State Department was actually praising Trump-era counterterror efforts.

However, the report continued, the jihad isn’t over: “the terrorism threat has become more geographically dispersed in regions around the world.” ISIS and al-Qaeda have “continued to exploit under-governed spaces, conflict zones, and security gaps in the Middle East to acquire terrorist resources and conduct terrorist attacks.” Meanwhile al-Qaeda “bolstered its presence abroad, particularly in the Middle East and Africa, where affiliates AQAP, al-Shabab in the Horn of Africa, and Jama’at Nasr al-Islam wal Muslimin in the Sahel remain among the most active and dangerous terrorist groups in the world.” And on the Shi’ite side of the fence, “Iran continued to support acts of terrorism regionally and globally during 2020. Regionally, Iran supported proxies and partner groups in Bahrain, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, including Hezbollah and Hamas.”

There is more. Read the rest here.

The True Meaning of Christmas — Jesus from a Wooden Manger to a Wooden Cross

As I look forward to spending time with my wife, son, daughter-in-law, grandson and granddaughter on Christmas Day 2021 I cannot help but remember my Christmas Day in 1967.

I spent Christmas Day 1967 away from my wife and family in Vietnam while serving with the 2nd Battalion, 321st Field Artillery, 101st Airborne Division.

When I listen to Christmas music I am particularly touched by the song “I’ll be home for Christmas.” The lyrics include these words that always bring a tear to my eyes, “I’ll be home for Christmas … If only in my dreams.”

I also reflect upon the question: What is the true meaning of Christmas?

The True Meaning of Christmas

Over the years I have come to understand that the true meaning of Christmas is that God gave up His Son to give each and everyone of us the greatest gift of all – life everlasting.

You see that Jesus was born to die like each of us, but His death was short lived as on the third day after His death on the cross on Calvary He arose.

As the Bible says in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.”

Jesus gave up his life so that we may all have life everlasting. It’s as simple as that!

For as John 3:16 promises, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

I lost many of my fellow band of brothers in Vietnam. Christmas 1967 is forever burned into my memory as the best of times and the worst of times. For he who sheds his blood with me is forever my brother.

I wish each and every single one of you and your family a very blessed Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

MATTHEW 25:34-40

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'”

How Freedom Is Lost

The cycle is repeated from age to age with each new generation.

First they convince you that freedom is impractical.

“It’s nice in theory, but not realistic.”

Then they convince you that freedom is insensitive.

“I love liberty too, but I also love people.”

Then they convince you that freedom is immoral.

“You’re being selfish by putting your individual rights before this person’s pain.”

Then they convince you to sacrifice your freedom on the altar of the greater good.

“Give us the power to legislate your behavior and dictate your decisions. We promise to use that power in a way that benefits everyone. You can trust us. We know what’s best.”

Then they destroy the world and pin the blame on you.

“This would’ve never happened had you given up your freedoms earlier. It’s your fault for being so selfish.”

And the cycle is repeated from age to age with each new generation being duped into believing that authoritarianism was the sort of thing that could only go wrong during more primitive times.

PODCAST: Texas School Board has Parents Arrested at Home

Here’s this week’s Shout Out Patriots Show: Arrested and jailed after attending a school board meeting. 2 dads. Two stories.

Imagine the insanity of two police cars arriving at your home with an arrest warrant because you dared to speak out at a school board meeting.

That’s what happened to two fathers in Round Rock, TX.

Jeremy Story, a father of seven, and Dustin Clark, a father of four, spent a night in the Williamson County Jail after raising questions about a superintendent hired by the Round Rock Independent School District.

The fathers (a pastor and a 13-year Army vet) wanted the school board to investigate allegations that its newly hired Muslim superintendent had assaulted his pregnant mistress and threatened to kill them both.

Not an unreasonable request, right?

Maybe not to you or me, but it was for the school board!

Jeremy Story was dragged out of the school board meeting on Aug. 14 when he tried to raise the issue before the board.

Dustin Clark met a similar fate on Sept. 14 when he objected to the school board raising taxes behind closed doors, which he claims violates Texas’ Open Meetings Act.

On Sept. 16, both men were arrested at their separate homes, taken to jail and then charged with “disorderly conduct with the intent to disrupt a meeting.”

The media, not surprisingly, doesn’t want to tell their side of the story…but we do during our Shout Out Patriots podcast show.

Watch or listen as Jeremy Story and Dustin Clark tell how they were abused, threatened, censored and incarcerated, simply for wanting to hold their school board accountable to Round Rock parents.

Could you help keep our podcast growing and expanding with a tip?

Liberals Behind Noncitizen Voting ‘Absurdity’ Push Similar Laws Nationwide

By Marisa Herman | Newsmax| 16 December 2021:

With nearly 800,000 people who aren’t American citizens on the cusp of being able to vote in local New York elections, experts fear other Democrat-led cities will soon follow suit, setting in motion a dangerous domino effect with the potential to further erode public trust in the election process.

New York City council members on Thursday signed off on a measure allowing non-U.S. citizens who legally reside in the country to vote in municipal elections. That slate includes any primary, special, general, or run-off election for mayor, comptroller, public advocate, borough president, or council member. Noncitizens will also be permitted to vote on local ballot initiatives…….

VIDEO: Airline CEOs Question Mask Mandates on Planes

How long before these poor bastards get retired or prostrate themselves in apologia.

From Daybreak Insider:

From the story: The comments from American Airlines CEO Doug Parker and Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly came on Wednesday during a Senate committee hearing on the financial support the industry received during the pandemic. “I think the case is very strong that masks don’t add much, if anything, in the air cabin environment,” Kelly said. “It is very safe and very high quality compared to any other indoor setting” (Daily Wire). From Bethany Mandel: By now, you’ve seen the viral videos of the families forcibly removed from flights because their child, usually a toddler, is unable or unwilling to be masked for the duration of the flight. Those videos aren’t just traumatic for the unfortunate individuals finding themselves at the center of a firestorm; they have a way of intimidating anyone with a young child or disabled individual unable to mask from even attempting public transportation of any kind (Deseret).

Facebook Finally Admits It: Its ‘Fact Checks’ Are Just Opinion

Now the Left’s entire “fact check” deception is exposed. My latest in FrontPage:

For years now, Facebook and the other social media giants have been acting as the guardians of acceptable opinion, banning even the president of the United States for stating views they decided had to be forcibly suppressed. But now, facing a serious legal challenge to their massive censorship of dissidents from the Leftist agenda and ongoing infringement of the freedom of speech, Facebook has finally admitted what its foes have contended from the beginning: its “fact checks” are not really factual at all, but are simply opinion. On the basis of that opinion, innumerable truthful voices have been silenced; lovers of freedom can only hope that this startling admission is the beginning of the end of the social media giants’ hegemony.

Reclaim The Net reported Saturday that “John Stossel, a libertarian journalist and author, filed a lawsuit against Facebook, claiming the platform defamed him through a ‘fact check’ label. Facebook added a ‘misleading’ label on a video he posted.”

This labeling of Stossel had a powerful effect: he was “censored on Facebook and his work was undermined by the ‘fact check’ that he alleged was defaming his character by falsely accusing him of lying.”

Faced with a legal challenge from Stossel, Facebook’s lawyers were cornered into making the damaging admission about its “fact check” labels: “The labels themselves are neither false nor defamatory; to the contrary, they constitute protected opinion.” This is a sleazy tactic, given Facebook’s current power over the public discourse. Reclaim The Net noted that “Facebook wants the ability to allow fact checkers to accuse their users of lying and censor and ban users based on those ‘fact checks,’ but not to have any liability for accusing those users of lying.”

Facebook has done immense damage to a great many more people than just Stossel with these “opinions.” Numerous sites that report on news that the Left doesn’t want you to know have been and/or continue to be shadowbanned or have been removed from Facebook altogether.

Of course, it’s not just Facebook, either. This is by now a tried-and-true tactic of the Left. For years the obscenely wealthy and fantastically corrupt Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has operated in the same way, smearing and defaming foes of the Left’s agenda as “extremists” and equating them with neo-Nazis and Ku Klux Klansmen. As a target of this myself, I have several times inquired with lawyers about whether I could sue the SPLC for defamation and am always told the same thing: it’s just their opinion, it’s protected speech, you would have to prove actual malice, and so on.

The problem with this is that the SPLC’s “opinion,” like that of Facebook, is taken as sober, objective fact by numerous organizations and institutions, many of which use the SPLC’s spurious and defamatory “hate group list” to determine whom they will do business with and whom they will shun. Amazon, for example, has a special service for 501(c)(3) charitable organizations, but those that have been smeared by the SPLC, even if they have been neither accused nor convicted of any wrongdoing and are still charities recognized by the U.S. Treasury Department, are excluded from participation. And Amazon is by no means the only corporation to operate this way.

Now that Facebook has made this admission, it has thereby cast doubt upon the Left’s entire “fact check” operation. For Leftists, “fact checking” is just another means to discredit and destroy their political opponents, not a means to get to the truth of the matter at all. But Facebook’s admission will, unfortunately, not likely change anything: the evil conglomerate will continue to infringe upon the freedom of speech and police opinions, allowing only those of the far-Left to be disseminated freely.

To solve this problem will require a president who understands the threat to the freedom of speech that Facebook and the other social media giants pose, and who has the will, the power, and the support to act decisively. If the United States is to survive as a free republic, Facebook, Twitter, Google and all the rest will have to be broken up, the way AT&T was long ago. Otherwise, these sinister oligarchies will continue to strangle and silence dissenting voices, until finally there is no one left at all to speak out as they implement their authoritarian agenda in full.
