The government’s pricey system to verify that employees are authorized to work legally in the U.S. is somewhat of a joke that has approved thousands of illegal immigrants and hundreds of thousands of foreigners without using its own photo-matching process to confirm identities. Additionally, the system, which is operated by the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), deemed around 4,000 foreign-born applicants as “employment authorized” based on employer-sponsored visas without verifying that candidates were actually hired by the employers that sponsored them.
The famously inefficient program is known as E-Verify, a costly database that screens new employees using records from various government agencies to confirm the candidate is in the country legally. It is a web-based system that supposedly matches information provided by new hires against DHS and Social Security Administration (SSA) records. USCIS operates it because the agency is responsible for administering the nation’s lawful immigration system. The program is available to employers in every state as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands. For private businesses it is voluntary but federal contractors and subcontractors must use it to vet workers. The government claims E-Verify is “currently the best means available to electronically confirm employment eligibility.”
That is distressing considering the lapses that have been well documented over the years. The most recent E-Verify problems are the focus of a lengthy federal audit published just a few days ago by the DHS Inspector General. In its report, the watchdog blasts USCIS, identifying “deficiencies” that illustrate the program needs “additional capabilities” to “more effectively confirm that individuals are eligible for employment in the United States.” The document identifies weaknesses in E-Verify’s process for confirming identity during employment verification and discloses that the system’s photo-matching mechanism is not fully automated, but rather, relies on employers to confirm individuals’ identities by manually reviewing photos. “We also determined that in fiscal year 2019, E-Verify returned an ‘Employment Authorized’ result for about 280,000 non-U.S. citizens without using the photo-matching process to confirm their identities,” the report says. “Additionally, although the majority of individuals submit a driver’s license to prove identity, E-Verify’s process does not use photos to ensure that individuals match the license submitted.”
It gets better. Investigators reveal they “found errors in E-Verify’s license verification process that resulted in E-Verify deeming about 613,000 individuals ‘Employment Authorized’ without meeting USCIS’ own identification system use requirement.” The probe further determined that E-Verify returned an “Employment Authorized” result for almost 3,000 non-U.S. citizens who did not meet USCIS’ verification requirements. Those are considered illegal immigrants. E-Verify also authorized 4,000 non-U.S. citizens to work based on an employer-sponsored visa without verifying that the individual was hired by the employer that sponsored them. “Lastly, USCIS has not completed full testing of E-Verify’s capabilities to determine whether the system can handle the projected increase in users,” the report states, attributing the problems to USCIS’s failure to develop or evaluate internal controls necessary to detect, track and investigate system errors. “Until USCIS addresses E-Verify’s deficiencies, it cannot ensure the system provides accurate employment eligibility results,” the watchdog writes.
Since it was launched in 1996, E-Verify’s efficiency has come under fire despite receiving generous funding from Congress. This fiscal year, the system got $118.7 million from American taxpayers. Around 909,000 employers throughout the nation use it to verify the employee work authorization of more than 40 million hires, making it an important tool to curb illegal immigration since jobs are a huge lure for migrants. For years undocumented immigrant workers have been able to pass an E-Verify check with fake identification documents. In fact, an audit conducted for the federal government more than a decade ago revealed that around 54% of illegal immigrants workers are approved by E-Verify to work legally in the U.S. It seems that little has changed to assure the system is more efficient.

The war is lost, but no one is going to be held accountable and the same blinkered woke dopes are in charge. In fact, the one whose very name is Blinken, the secretary of State, explained Monday how the Taliban could gain the “international legitimacy and support” that is obviously such a high priority for them, and explained that even if it didn’t become the Leftist woke paradise of Blinken’s imagining, the American money will still flow. Of course. It always does.
Blinken claimed risibly that henceforth, the America-Last administration of Biden’s handlers would be guided by a concern for something that has never appeared on its list of priorities up to now: “our vital national interests.” Yeah, sure, Tony. Pull my other leg. More plausibly, Blinken assured the world that despite the last few weeks of catastrophe and humiliation, the American taxpayers will still be filling their cars with $4-a-gallon gasoline and driving to their pathetic nine-to-fives so that the elites can demonstrate their concern for the people of Afghanistan: “If we can work in the new Afghan government in a way that helps secure those interests … and in a way that brings greater stability to the country and the region, and that protects the gains of the last two decades, we will do it.”
The gains of the last two decades? What were those? Blinken didn’t say. He was too busy promising the Taliban American money: “The United States will continue to support humanitarian aid to the Afghan people. Consistent with our sanctions on the Taliban, the aid will not flow through the government, but rather through independent organizations, such as U.N. agencies and [non-government organizations.] And, we expect that those efforts will not be impeded by the Taliban or anyone else.”
Of course the Taliban won’t impede the money flow. They’re much more likely to appropriate it. Just as UN agencies in Gaza are whollycompromisedbyHamas, it strains credulity to think that UN will be able to operate freely and independently of the Taliban in Afghanistan, or will even try to do so. But in Antony Blinken’s blinkered world, the UN is an incorrupt and thoroughly uncorruptable organization, and so no American taxpayer should object to his or her or xer money going to UN outposts in the Taliban’s Afghanistan. Really, what could possibly go wrong?
Blinken demonstrated his lack of acquaintance with reality yet again when he explained that if the Taliban wanted international approval, it would have to become a Leftist nanny state like the U.S. and its allies, all concerned with diversity and inclusiveness: “The Taliban seeks international legitimacy and support. Our message is: any legitimacy and any support will have to be earned.”
Is that right? And exactly what leverage do you have on the Taliban if they don’t earn it, Mr. Secretary?

This September marks the twentieth anniversary of the 9-11 disaster, an orchestrated attack by Islamic Supremacists to terrorize the United States. Since that time, we have invaded and conquered Iraq, took out the mastermind of 9-11, Osama bin Laden in Pakistan, eliminated ISIS from the region and much more. Interestingly, in spite of our involvement it is remarkable how naive most Americans are pertaining to Islam, a “religion” at the heart of these problems, yet has a huge bearing on our future. Enter Dr. William H. Urban and his 2018 book, “Trojan Horses of Islamic Supremacy,” a timely exposé explaining the purpose and goals of Islam, particularly the Muslim Brotherhood.
Over the years, I have learned a lot about the Islamic faith, but Dr. Urban’s book ties it all together in a tidy, easy to understand package. It is meticulously researched and well organized in such a fashion that it should be considered a must-read reference book all Americans should have access to.
Islam is a religion primarily made up of tribes. As such, there are several factions involved, but not a single head like the Pope for the Catholic Church. This explains the number of internal disputes within the religion. Whereas Christians think of God as a loving entity, Muslims live in fear of their god. The book also makes the point, “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated; to impose its laws on all nations; and extend its power to the entire planet.” Further, “Killing the infidels is our religion; Slaughtering them is our religion; Until they convert to Islam or pay us tribute” – noted al-Qaeda terrorist Abu Musah al-Zarqawi; July 9, 2005.
At the Tehran Conference in 2005, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad described his country’s “War Preparation Plan” which included, “The destruction of Anglo-Saxon Civilization.” In addition to terrorist activities, this is being done by infiltrating and subverting the Western world’s educational institutions, government agencies, and the news media. And they have been very successful in this regard, particularly the Muslim Brotherhood. Bottom line, they want to replace the U.S. Constitution with Sharia Law, thereby overthrowing the American government.
Dr. Urban defines the scope of various Islamic groups, such as the Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hamas, CAIR, and many more. One thing which surprised me was the fact American political activist and tax reduction advocate Grover Norquist has also been active with Islamic organizations. He is married to a Muslim and has been instrumental in helping to secure political appointments for Muslims in the past few presidential administrations. Also, former Secretary of State John Kerry’s son-in-law is a Muslim. Urban also points out the Obama administration was loaded with members of the Muslim Brotherhood, and George W. Bush also met with members of the Brotherhood even in spite of 9-11.
Urban begins the book by describing the properties of the Islamic religion, followed by a historical perspective. He then details what the government has discovered over the years, for example:
Raids in 2002 and 2004 by the FBI and other intelligence agencies discovered intel related to the Muslim Brotherhood, that they are interested in overthrowing the American government and instilling Sharia Law.
Under Obama, a CBS news investigation found the State Department sent hundreds of millions of dollars to refurbish mosques and save other Islamic sites around the world. AMERICAN TAXPAYER DOLLARS! Anyone remember the concept of “separation of church and state”? Why didn’t Christian and Jewish institutions receive comparable money? Hmm…
The return of money to Iran by authority of the Obama administration is scary and financed terrorist operations for years to come. $150B was returned with $18B going to the spread of Islam.
While it is well known President Obama was a Muslim sympathizer, President Trump overturned Obama’s policies in 2017 and became the first to stand up to Iran and terrorist organizations.
Dr. Urban ends his thesis with a “Call to Action” listing items the Federal Government should deploy to put Islam in check. Unfortunately, none of it will be done by President Biden.
Since the book was published, we have seen new peace treaties between Middle Eastern countries and Israel, the destruction of ISIS in Syria and Iraq, the recent Afghanistan meltdown by the Biden administration, as well as a reversal of Trump’s executive orders on Muslims entering the country and the erosion of immigration borders thereby allowing terrorists to sneak in. Nonetheless, the book provides incredible insight into how Islam works. Quite simply, Dr. Urban “has put it all together.”
The book’s Appendices includes a well organized Glossary of Terms, History, and more. It is available in hard cover or paperback through most on-line stores. It is factual, well organized, and thoroughly researched. I cannot recommend it strongly enough. All Americans should read it. Why? Let me put it to you this way, as Dr. Urban explained to me, “The FBI reports 80% of mosques (in America) are armories.”
California is in decline. The Golden State lost population in 2020 for the first time in decades, and the exodus included celebrity entrepreneurs like Elon Musk and Joe Rogan. A long list of businesses, some as well known as Disney, Hewlett-Packard, Nestle, and Toyota, have either relocated or sent some jobs outside of the state in recent years.
But just how bad have things really gotten in California? A new study from the Hoover Institution at Stanford University analyzes the anecdotes and finds a damning trend.
Authors Joseph Vranich and Lee E. Ohanian examined available reports of companies relocating their headquarters outside of the Golden State. They find that 265 major companies have moved on to greener pastures since January 1, 2018.
The study also reports that the rate at which businesses are leaving the state is rapidly accelerating. For the first six months of 2021, the rate is nearly twice as high as it was last year. That means more businesses have already left California this year than in all of 2020.
The authors note that this count is, if anything, an enormous underestimate. Many small businesses exiting the state do not receive media coverage and are not required to file compliance reports, so many of their exits go uncounted in the analysis.
These businesses take more than just jobs with them when they leave the state. The local communities lose out on investment, income for local businesses, tax revenue, philanthropic work, and much more. So, it’s of the utmost importance to analyze why businesses are leaving California en masse.
Per the study, major reasons for leaving include “high tax rates, punitive regulations, high labor costs, high utility and energy costs, and declining quality of life for many Californians which reflects the cost of living and housing affordability.”
These issues all ultimately trace back to the state government. California has regulated and taxed its once-thriving economy into a coma. The state now ranks as the 50th-worst state to do business in, according to Chief Executive magazine’s 2021 survey. Meanwhile, the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council ranks the Golden State the 49th-worst state to do business in. And the Tax Foundation reports that California has the 49th-worst business tax climate in the country.
It’s little surprise that top destination states, per the study, include Texas, Tennessee, Arizona, and other states that have taken markedly different policy approaches.
The great thing about a federalist, 50-state system is that different states can try different things. But this new Stanford study exposes the devastating results of California’s experiment with big government and welfare-state largesse. When empowered to vote with their feet, citizens and businesses alike choose freer markets over centralized government control.

I know the father is fighting for custody and parental rights like the mother, but requiring any parent to participate in a medical experiment to see their child is disgusting.
The father and his attorney should be ashamed for not condemning this monster.
In what all parties agree is a very unusual and perhaps unprecedented step, a judge at Chicago’s Daley Center has stripped Rebecca Firlit of custody because she refuses to get a vaccination shot.
“I miss my son more than anything. It’s been very difficult. I haven’t seen him since August 10th,” Firlit told FOX 32 News in an exclusive interview.
That’s the day Firlit appeared in court via Zoom along with her ex-husband for a child support hearing involving their 11-year-old son. The two have been divorced for seven years and share custody and parenting time.
She says out of the blue, Cook County Judge James Shapiro asked her whether she had been vaccinated. Firlit told Shapiro she had not because she has had bad reactions to vaccines in the past.
Shapiro then ordered that Firlit be stripped of all parenting time with her son until she gets vaccinated.
Oiver the past two weeks, Firlit has been able to talk to her son on the phone and through video calls, but has not seen him in person.
“I think that it’s wrong. I think that it’s dividing families. And I think it’s not in my son’s best interest to be away from his mother,” Firlit said.
Firlit is now appealing the court order, saying the judge has no business taking away her parenting rights simply because she’s not vaccinated.
“It had nothing to do with what we were talking about. He was placing his views on me. And taking my son away from me,” Firlit said.
Annette Fernholz, Firlit’s attorney, says the judge has overstepped his authority.
“In this case you have a judge, without any matter before him regarding the parenting time with the child deciding ‘Oh, you’re not vaccinated. You don’t get to see your child until you are vaccinated.’ That kind of exceeds his jurisdiction,” Fernholz said.
“You have to understand the father did not even bring this issue before the court. So it’s the judge on his own and making this decision that you can’t see your child until you’re vaccinated,” Fernholz added.
The attorney representing the father, Jeffrey Leving, says they were also surprised by the judge’s decision, but they support the ruling saying that given the pandemic, the child should be protected from an unvaccinated mother.
Judge James Shapiro is a devil who’s on a power trip.
And I wouldn’t be surprised if other judges attempt similar actions.

A pregnant American woman is still trapped in Afghanistan after she was forced into hiding when the Taliban blocked her at a checkpoint and kicked her in the stomach as she tried to flee with her husband.
The California couple are among the hundreds of Americans left stranded in Kabul after the final US forces left, despite Biden’s promise to evacuate every citizen before the withdrawal deadline.
California GOP Rep. Darrell Issa is working on trying to get the woman, who he called ‘Nasria,’ out and described her harrowing experiences that forced her to go into hiding in an interview on Fox & Friends Tuesday.
‘She was kicked in the stomach, but she was kicked in the stomach well after – as she got through the first checkpoint for hours, waiting for those people at the south point to supposedly come and get her,’ the Republican lawmaker said
It wasn’t until it was clear they had closed, they weren’t taking anyone else for quite a while that finally, she accepted that she was going to have to go back and hide in her apartment.’
She never made it onto a US military evacuation flight. The last C-17 jet left Hamid Karzai International Airport at 3:29 p.m. ET on August 30. It carried the remainder of troops on the ground, embassy staff including Ambassador Ross Wilson, and Major General Christopher Donahue.
No American civilians were on the last five flights to leave.
Before US forces left, Issa said the woman made ‘multiple trips’ to the airport.
‘We’ve agreed that she’s going to stay sheltered in place, hiding her identity and hoping that her friends will continue to bring her food and keep her secret until frankly we can come up with something new,’ he said.

Every hour of every day I become angrier at the depths of the depravity, stupidity and evil our country has sunk to. You can barely recognize it. As I celebrate my 66th birthday in America today I am distraught. This is not the America I immigrated to, legally, in October 1994. If we allow this Administration to complete its term without putting a halt to it in 2022, our Constitutional Republic is DEAD. Period. There will be no coming back from the dead. Our national security has been put at such risk that another 9/11 or bigger is entirely possible – all thanks to you Democrats.
To every single so called American who voted for this abomination of a so called administration and the evil America hating people who make it up, I hope you are happy. This applies to all the MSM who have done irreparable harm to our country with their blatant lies and unethical treatment of President Trump and anyone associated with him. How about the huge uptick in racism that has been swept into America? White privilege? Shame of being white? This all also applies to social media, obviously a slave to the demonic ideas, ideals and the socialists and Commies of the New Democrat Socialist Party. Your attacks on our First Amendment rights are a disgrace. Someone like me cannot have a Twitter account but Taliban leaders can??? Really???
Your choices have to bear responsibility. You are all guilty of everything going on today. EVERYTHING. The inflation. The total lack of ethics or morals, the acceptance of perverted and sick lifestyles, the perversion and dumbing down of our youth, racism, the horrific massacre and genocide of our unborn children, ( the majority of color ), the attempted downfall of our churches, our economy, destruction of jobs and companies while protecting those huge corporations that fund your evil agenda, the continual attacks upon and the attempted destruction of our beloved constitution, the open southern border, illegal immigrants coming in like a swollen river, the huge rise in criminal activity, the acceptance of drugs, pornography, plus the loss of respect for our military and our law enforcement, the weakening of our armed forces resulting in the massive strengthening of our enemies, the financial enrichment of our enemies, our loss of standing on the global stage and for the deaths of our servicemen and women who died and may still yet die in Afghanistan. How about the 3000 plus Christians in Afghanistan that are being hunted down by the Taliban to burn alive? Yes, burn alive. ( Do you think that is an acceptable price to have your evil agenda installed? ) The same Christians that your choice of a pitiful, weak and unstable president has stood in the way of and halted all privately funded relief efforts to get them out of Afghanistan. I bet you couldn’t look any of the aforementioned people or their friends and families, loved ones etc. or any of them directly in their eyes and try to justify your pathetic choice of a mentally challenged socialist usurper of a president and his half witted, extremely dumb, giggler socialist Vice President to them. Or their decisions. You couldn’t do it. You have no right on your side. No just behavior. Just pure black souls and evil minds. Your choices that put this evil in positions like “the squad”. Voting Islamic extremists into office. Your choice that you put in an administration that has destroyed 4 years of peace in the Middle East and still working hard to ensure that peace is destroyed. Working hard to destroy Israel despite any lies spewing from the mouths of your treasonous representatives.
It was your choice to destroy this country because you didn’t like President Trump tweets! Or he offended your cowardly, pathetic senses? Or maybe it was his hair. Or his gorgeous wife and family all of whom are hugely intelligent, America loving patriots.

How about those of you that profess to be Christians, regardless of affiliation? How in Gods name could you vote for the most pro-murder abortion beliefs of a man who supports abortion up to birth. To you alone this should have been a one subject, one issue election. You cannot profess to be Christian and support murder through abortion. All life starts with inception. Destroying it because it may be inconvenient is MURDER!

From his decisions on our oil industry and it’s supply that has put tens of thousands of solid Americans out of work, well paying and great tax paying jobs, all the while ensuring we now buy our oil from countries that are enemies of ours. Russia. OPEC. Paying higher prices and putting our countries national security at risk as these countries can pull the plug anytime. Remember the 70’s? The long lines at the gas pumps? The prices? One hundred years ago, it was a dark reality that virtually every American institution supported segregation between white people and minorities. Even the pinnacle of progressivism, President Woodrow Wilson, was a known segregationist, saying, “Segregation is not humiliating, but a benefit, and ought to be regarded as such.”
Most of us probably thought we’ve stripped off these backward views and have steadily become a racially equal society living up to America’s founding values. But today, under the guise of critical race theory (CRT), major institutions are reinvigorating racial separation and divisive rhetoric.
One of these institutions is Bank of America. Last week, Christopher Rufo in City Journal reported that America’s second-largest bank is embracing CRT with its “equity initiative.” The initiative’s employee training program demolishes racial equality by lumping white people together as a collective with “limited imagination,” one that “experiences fear… or shame” for contributing “to racial tension, hatred, and violence.” Emphasizing the collective over individual diversity is fundamentally Marxist, and to generalize by race like this is fundamentally racist, yet Bank of America is explicitly doing both.
As the bank rams its ideology down its employees’ throats, there has not been an ounce of “tolerance” for contradiction or critical thought. Employees are instructed, “Decolonize your mind” and just “accept that white supremacy and institutional racism are real.” Prohibiting dissent, even discussion, would be welcome in Communist China, but in the Land of the Free?
Despite coming under fire last week for these racializing trainings, Bank of America has not returned requests for comment. They did, however, double down a few months ago, increasing this “equity” initiative from a four-year, $1 billion plan to five years at $1.25 billion.
It’s time for Bank of America, which rightly scores 1.00 from 2ndVote, to learn how Americans feel about their racializing, Marxist rhetoric. Support financial companies like Goldman Sachs instead, which isn’t perfect but scores much higher at 3.87. Then, contact Bank of America today and tell them they must live up to their name: a bank that is “of America,” supporting values of equality and freedom.

Sunday on Twitter, former President Barack Obama’s Secretary of Education Arne Duncan posted a sick, hateful tweet which equated COVID vaccine skeptics and anti-mask-mandate lovers of freedom to the Islamic terrorists who slaughtered more than 100 people in a suicide bombing last Thursday, including 13 U.S. servicemembers.
“Have you noticed how strikingly similar both the mindsets and actions are between the suicide bombers at Kabul’s airport, and the anti-mask and anti-vax people here?” Duncan wrote. “They both blow themselves up, inflict harm on those around them, and are convinced they are fighting for freedom.”
Duncan’s ugly comparison rightly drew outrage on social media. “It takes a radically out of touch and vile person to compare American Parents who don’t want our kids in masks to Muslim Terrorists who blow up our kids,” tweeted former Treasurer of Ohio Josh Mandel.
“Knowing this guy ran Dept of Ed for eight years under Obama explains all the insanity in our public schools happening right now, doesn’t it?” radio host Larry O’Connor chimed in.
Duncan’s vicious message only makes sense when you realize that, as a radical leftist, he perceives freedom-loving American patriots to be his real enemy.
Noting that black students were significantly more likely to be suspended or expelled from school for disciplinary reasons than their white peers, DOE’s Office for Civil Rights announced in 2014 that such “a disparate impact” could indicate “unlawful discrimination … [even] if a policy is neutral on its face” and “is administered in an evenhanded manner.”[2] With Duncan asserting that racial discrimination in discipline was “a real problem today,” the DOE pressured schools to adopt veritable racial quotas for suspensions and expulsions.
Scholar Mary Grabar writes that under Duncan’s watch, the DOE became “a propaganda arm used to influence the next generation to accept the idea of catastrophic man-made climate change.” Toward that end, she explains, students were often required to watch Al Gore’s propagandistic documentary, An Inconvenient Truth; were instructed to make videos “express[ing] why they care about climate change and what they are doing to reduce emissions or to prepare for its impacts”; and were enrolled in a National Wildlife Federation program wherein they could “propose solutions” to global warming.
