Are Biden’s Guns ‘Smart’ or Under Control?

Whether you’re familiar with the administration’s plans or not, Joe Biden is one of the politicians pushing for smart guns. If you’re wondering what that means, why it rings a bell, or why we don’t have them already, you’ve come to the right place.

What Are Smart Guns?

While they sound futuristic and the technology has made an appearance in many science-fiction films, the concept of smart guns is current and possible. Basically, smart guns have a safety on at all times that will only unlock with the palm of the owner. This is due to sensors in the grip that would change the firearms industry, literally making you the safety. Before you panic that your pistol would be taken away, hear the argument out.

This Isn’t the First Time

The idea of smart guns was introduced as early as 2000 under the Clinton administration. They were able to convince Smith & Wesson and Colt to work on manufacturing these firearms, but the response by the NRA and gun communities was overwhelmingly negative. After a boycott of the 2 companies, production ceased and no gun manufacturer has gone near the idea since. In 2002, New Jersey passed a law that would have made the sale of any non-smart gun illegal once they hit the market, but again smart guns didn’t come to fruition. One of the biggest arguments against smart guns is the preservation of the 2nd amendment, so let’s get into why we don’t have smart guns and will likely see the same reaction under this administration.

Why is There Such a Push-Back?

The leading argument against smart guns isn’t necessarily over the idea of safer guns, which is probably something a lot of people can agree on, but that the government would be in charge. That isn’t to say that the gun registry would be affected or firearms would lose their lethal capabilities, but the New Jersey law proved that the government would dictate gun sales. This was seen as a forerunner to gun control, if not an act of gun control in itself. To clarify, smart guns and the laws associated wouldn’t prevent anyone from stockpiling weapons and ammo. However, by making the sale of any other firearm illegal it was expected that only certain firearms would be made smart so that the guns that have been on the chopping block of legislation for years would no longer be legal. Obviously, the NRA led the charge against smart guns in 2000 and has continued to put up a fight for 2 decades.

Will We See Smart Guns Anytime Soon?

The Biden administration is returning to the proposal of smart guns, so the answer is entirely possible that they’ll be on the market sooner than later. As society becomes more aware of statistics that could be lowered or prevented by guns that would only fire in the hands of the owner, it’s not exactly farfetched. Crime rates with stolen handguns would go down and the rate of accidental suicides and murders, especially by children, would significantly decrease. That last one is especially proving to be a good source of debates. Of course, the idea that smart guns will infringe on the 2nd amendment or set a precedent that the government could leverage into larger gun control is a great concern for gun activists and organizations. The NRA will push hard against any form of firearm that the government would be able to dictate, so there’s definitely room for argument on both sides. Finding a middle ground is going to be difficult and will be the reason we may or may not see smart guns for a long time.

It’s worth noting that the smart guns that were manufactured for testing only worked 90 percent of the time, but the implications are vast. A disarmed officer or invaded home-owner couldn’t be shot with their own weapon, but it also means that weapons couldn’t be shared in times of crisis. Basically, smart guns are a hot topic on the floor right now and the lava is only going to rise while political debates heat up.

It Takes a Village

Maybe you own a few firearms or maybe you’re content with one, but no matter how good you are with that red dot sight on your 5.56 rifle you’re only human. There’s a reason Wyatt Earp wasn’t alone at the OK Corral, so why not consider arming your neighbors?

The Best Defense…

If you’ve seen the news in the last decade, you’re aware that crime rates and neighborhood violence have escalated. The more tensions rise, the more irrational people become and you’ll want someone to have your back when it hits the fan. Rather than sit around and wait to be victimized, though, why not create an environment that will deter criminals? It’s not hard to purchase a few cheap firearms to put in the hands of trusted neighbors, whether you’re in a bad situation or want to live in a safer area. The reason to buy some “throw-away” guns is because, no matter how much you like your neighbor, you wouldn’t want to give away a firearm you’ve trained with. Having a few extra weapons to arm your neighbors with will increase your numbers and give a better chance of survival.

Early Warning System

The saying “It takes a village” doesn’t just apply to raising children, but protecting them. If your home gets broken into or comes under attack, you’ll want to know your neighbors will show up to help. People rely on police for protection but their job is to catch the criminal, not prevent the crime. That means it’s up to neighbors and friends to watch out for each other. By having several armed adults, you can know if something bad is coming your way. If the first home on your block is attacked, a gunshot from your neighbor will alert everyone and provide an early warning system that could save lives and prevent something terrible. Of course, it pays to be able to trust your neighbors’ abilities.

Quality Over Quantity

Would you rather have 10 guns with no skill or 5 guns in the hands of experienced shooters? If you have no other option, arming your neighbors in a time of crisis is important but it doesn’t mean you have to wait until then to build skill and familiarity. Taking your neighbors to the range or putting some time into teaching them on gun safety and basic shooting can mean the difference between help and friendly fire. Inexperienced hands can be just as dangerous when trying to protect you. A lot of crimes take place because criminals see a weak element among the flock of society, but safety is in numbers. Surrounding yourself with a few experienced neighbors that you trust behind you will prevent a lot of the potential crime that would come to your neighborhood.

It’s Your Right

The last reason to purchase additional firearms and arm your neighbors is patriotism. Not because having a gun is a nationalistic requirement, but because of the intent by a group of men in 1776. The revolution that was fought for your rights put the 2nd amendment there so that we could protect each other in the face of adversity and crime. While we do have first-responders to keep law and order, their numbers are limited and they can’t be everywhere. Arming your neighbors and yourself, even with something as simple as a revolver, can make for a safer environment. With widespread riots and crimes taking place, from kidnappings to assaults, it’s good to have the peace of mind that comes with a secure village.

VIDEO: Harmeet Dhillon and James O’Keefe discuss Project Veritas’ Twitter Lawsuit on Hannity

I announced today that I will be suing Twitter for defamation after they banned me for “operating fake accounts.”

Esteemed lawyer Harmeet Dhillon and I joined Sean Hannity on Fox News tonight to discuss just how we will do it:

All Americans who are defamed every day, their lives destroyed because they do not have the means to fight back – not on our watch.

This team is fighting for them and the principles that define us.

The tyranny of Twitter who lied with malice about me and admitted misinformation from CNN after we exposed CNN’s political agenda and the propaganda they push instead of reporting the news.

Twitter can try to erase us but they cannot change what our journalist captured – watch the CNN recordings and make up your own mind.

They have betrayed every American and every journalist trying to do their best as we are robbed of a free press so vital to our republic.

No matter how powerful, no matter what they do or say, we know nothing can change the fundamentals.

There is only one truth, and millions on all sides see this for what it is – tyranny backed by extraordinary wealth and power.

We will prevail because good is stronger than evil and worth fighting for always.

Indeed, we cannot lose.

Thank you, Twitter, for giving us this opportunity for discovery into your operations, and to inspire hundreds, thousands, millions to follow….

COMMUNIST COUP: House Democrats Introduce Resolution to ABOLISH ELECTORAL COLLEGE

The Democrats are destroying the country at breakneck speed. They staged a coup and the clock is ticking …..‘Unlimited majority rule is an instance of the principle of tyranny.’

‘Individual rights are not subject to a public vote; a majority has no right to vote away the rights of a minority.’ (Rand)

The Democrats insist there was no issue with the 2020 election, so why do they suddenly want to radically change election methods?

The Electoral College was designed specifically to prevent the tyranny of big states over small states, as was the U.S. Senate, which affords all states, large and small, equal representation.

“If we did away with the Electoral College in favor of the national popular vote, the election would still be decided in a handful of states — populous states such as California and New York. Even though both of those states are deep blue, the GOP candidate would still fish in their waters, because swinging 1 or 2 percent into the red column would be worth more than swinging 1 to 2 percent in a smaller state. Voters in small states, such as Connecticut, would be permanently and completely disenfranchised.

Moreover, candidates would campaign in big media markets (which, of course, are in big states) in order to reach as many potential voters as efficiently as possible. This would favor media personalities and celluloid campaigns. Candidates would never have to meet voters one-on-one, as they do currently in small swing states.” (The Hill)

There are also motions afoot to make D.C. and Puerto Rico states – in order to tip the scales in favor of the Democrat-Nazi party: Washington Post reporting, ‘Democratic control of Senate put D.C. statehood front and center.’

Democrats are ramming through:

  • Ban the Electoral College
  • Give illegal aliens a path to citizenship
  • Provide slavery reparations
  • Take federal control of U.S. elections
  • Pack the SCOTUS with 4 new justices

Capitol Police Deliberately Given ‘Stand Down’ Order During January 6th Protests, Report Finds

This was planned – the final coup mortel (mortal blow) in the Democrat insurrection plot; election theft, then criminalization and murder even (Ashli Babbit) of those that objected.

NY Times Confirms: ‘Stand Down’ Order Given to Capitol Police During January 6th Riot

By: Kyle Becker, April 13, 2021

The New York Times has finally confirmed what many political observers had been saying all along about the Capitol riots: It was pre-planned, the Capitol Police knew it was coming, and authorities effectively gave a ‘stand down’ order.

A new 104-page report dropped by an internal investigator shreds authorities for intentionally hampering the police response on what has subsequently been claimed was a “coup,” an “insurrection,” and an attempt to “overturn” the results of the 2020 election.

The Inspector General of the Capitol Police laid bare all of the disturbing issues involved with the way the January 6th Electoral College security was mishandled.

“A new report by the Capitol Police’s internal watchdog found that department leaders overlooked key intelligence in the run-up to the riot on Jan. 6, including a warning that ‘Congress itself is the target,’ and barred the force’s riot response unit from using its most powerful crowd-control measures,” the New York Times reported.

“The 104-page document, entitled ‘Review of the Events Surrounding the Jan. 6, 2021, Takeover of the U.S. Capitol,’ is the most searing portrait yet of the lapses and miscalculations around the most violent attack on the Capitol in two centuries,” the Times continued. “It adds significant new detail not unearthed in congressional hearings and is likely to inform a coming overhaul of the agency promised by lawmakers.”

“In a 104-page document, the inspector general, Michael A. Bolton, criticized the way the Capitol Police prepared for and responded to the mob violence on Jan. 6,” the Times said about the unpublished report. “The report was reviewed by The New York Times and will be the subject of a Capitol Hill hearing on Thursday.”

At the Trump impeachment trial, it was revealed that Congress had been warned by the now-resigned Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund an attack from extremists was coming days before the uprising. House impeachment manager Rep. Stacey Plaskett revealed the explosive information on the second day of the Senate trial.

“The day before the rioters stormed the Congress an FBI office in Virginia also issued an explicit warning that extremists were preparing to travel to Washington to commit violence and, quote, war, according to internal reports,” she said.

“Leading up to the event there were hundreds, hundreds of posts online showing that his supporters took this as a call to arms to attack the Capitol,” she continued. “There were detailed posts of plans to attack online. Law enforcement warned that these posts were real threats and even made arrests days leading up to the attack.”

Rep. Maxine Waters also revealed in an exclusive interview just after the capitol building uprising she warned the capitol police chief days prior to the attack:

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) said the outgoing Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund ignored warnings that an attack by domestic terrorists was imminent days before insurrectionists imposed their will and overtook the hallowed government building on Jan. 6.

“First of all, to the families of those who died, they need to sue the U.S. government because the Capitol Police and others who had the responsibility of organizing security for this event failed,” she claimed.

“Either they are incompetent, or they lied, or they’re complicit,” she stated. “This is a very complicated combination of individuals and operations that I think played a role in this attack on our Capitol.”

The former Capitol Police chief Steven Sund, forced to resign under heavy pressure from Democrats, fired back a response to Speaker Pelosi. It undercuts the Democrats’ narrative that there were no requests made for heavier security. In fact, the Congress was warned six times before the capitol riots, and yet, the House and Senate Sergeant at Arms, also both resigned, failed to act upon those requests.

But a “secret history” of the 2020 campaign reveals that radical organizations, major corporations, and party operatives assessed that there would likely be a riot if Trump lost and they could blame the president for ‘inciting’ it. The Time article lays it out:

On March 3, Podhorzer drafted a three-page confidential memo titled “Threats to the 2020 Election.” “Trump has made it clear that this will not be a fair election, and that he will reject anything but his own re-election as ‘fake’ and rigged,” he wrote. “On Nov. 3, should the media report otherwise, he will use the right-wing information system to establish his narrative and incite his supporters to protest.”

Major General William J. Walker, the commanding general of the D.C. National Guard, confirmed many of Americans’ worst suspicions about the January 6th capitol riots in his explosive Senate testimony in early March. The National Guard had been prevented from providing ample security due to what he described as concerns about “optics.”

YouTube purges Florida Governor video for ‘Covid-19 medical misinformation’

Who has the authority to declare a ‘scientific consensus’?

At what point does Big Tech’s authority extend too far?

Last week, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, whose state has faced the challenge of covid-19 considerably well despite media criticism, had a video removed by YouTube for allegedly spreading “medical misinformation”.

DeSantis had hosted a roundtable discussion in a video uploaded by the American Institute for Economic Research. In it, he and “a handful of medical experts questioned the effectiveness of having children wear masks to stop the spread of COVID-19,” according to The Wrap. A representative from YouTube confirmed to The Wrap that,

The video was removed due to multiple instances where the doctors said children didn’t need to wear masks. This position… violated the Google-owned video site’s “COVID-19 medical misinformation” policies.

The video was removed due to multiple instances where the doctors said children didn’t need to wear masks. This position… violated the Google-owned video site’s “COVID-19 medical misinformation” policies.

At the risk of stating the obvious, it is rather odd for a social media site to take a scientific stance on an issue where consensus is lacking and new data is constantly emerging.

Ironically, the World Health Organisation (WHO) itself advises that children under five should not be required to wear masks and that those between ages six and 11 need only wear masks in areas of “widespread transmission”.

Since when is an IT company better informed than the world’s peak health body? More to the point, even if YouTube’s guidance agreed with WHO, since when is it YouTube’s role to silence dissent? It seems that the proverbial Galileo affair, like so much else of Western history, has been cast aside in our giddy rush towards “progress”.

Far more certain than the efficacy of masks are basic facts of the universe like the law of gravity or that 2 + 2 = 4. That YouTube chooses not to censor dissent on these and yet targets a Republican Governor for a different stance on mask-wearing exposes much about the cultural revolution quickly enveloping us.

It is another reminder— in the unlikely case that we needed it—that in Wokeworld, everything is political. Science especially.

Consider also Facebook’s clampdown on vaccine dissent. Recently, Facebook announced, “we are expanding our efforts to remove false claims on Facebook and Instagram about Covid-19, Covid-19 vaccines and vaccines in general during the pandemic.”

Under this rubric, as recently as Monday, it was presumably a purgeable offence to post on Facebook suggesting, for example, that people could experience severe blood clotting if they took the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. But on Tuesday, we can only assume that this suddenly became permissible, once the US Food and Drug Administration recommended a pause in its use for precisely this reason.

Not only is Silicon Valley creating piddling dictatorships that threaten to chase off half their client base: they a forging a rod for their own back as this volatile pandemic requires a constant re-write of what constitutes the “scientific consensus” and what is to be condemned as “disinformation”.

The notion of consensus is in part what is causing so much confusion.

Consensus is a powerful factor when it comes to ascertaining scientific facts. But it is not everything. Again, ask Galileo, who was put under house arrest by the authorities of his day for discovering compelling evidence that the earth revolved around the sun. Eventually, he was proven right—but he had to challenge the Aristotelian consensus to achieve this.

We also do ourselves a disservice by lumping all “science” together, as though the law of gravity and our rapidly expanding knowledge of Covid-19 somehow hold the same authority. They don’t, and we’re only fooling ourselves if we pretend that they do.

A decade and a half ago, social media’s gift to the world was the democratisation of information. Anyone could post. Anyone could play journalist or commentator. Discernment was required—as it always is in thinking cultures. But the freedom afforded by these platforms created untold opportunity for media start-ups, everyday entrepreneurs, and global communication.

Now all of this is threatened as Big Tech steamrolls anyone who doesn’t agree with their subjective and ever-changing opinions. They are playing a game of petty postmodern tyranny, and it is hurting everyone.

It’s time to bring back dissent and robust debate in the public square. If we don’t, we will silence the next Galileo, and whom does that help?

Pentagon to Root-Out White Extremists, but Silent on Black Man involved in Shooting at Fort Detrick

I’ve been checking every day or so to see if there is news, any news, on the Navy medic, Fantahun Girma Woldesenbet, who attempted to kill two fellow Navy men in Frederick, Maryland a week ago.

I figured by today the military would be ready to report a motive for the attempted murder of a white Corpsman and a Hispanic Corpsman, but nothing.

Speculation is that since the shooter’s name is common in Ethiopia that he is an immigrant from Africa either directly or as first generation. But, we will likely never hear any further information because the shooting does not fit the media narrative.

We don’t know much more than what was reported in the day or so after the attack. Was new American Woldesenbet on a mission, or was he (just) a nutcase?

And, it took a day for a photo of the shooter to be released—released by Frederick Police—not directly by the Navy. Perhaps they were forced to release it because people were sending photos of other black men around on social media claiming they were Corpsman Woldesenbet.

From Heavy.com:

Fantahun Girma Woldesenbet Photo: Frederick Police Release First Picture of Shooting Suspect

Frederick Police released the first photo of shooting suspect Fantahun Girma Woldesenbet this afternoon, the day after they say he shot two Navy sailors and was fatally gunned down at Fort Detrick.

Woldesenbet, a U.S. Navy hospital corpsman, allegedly wounded two people at a military installation about 10 minutes from Fort Detrick, a U.S. Army base where he worked Tuesday, April 6, 2021. He was shot and killed at the base when officials said he fled a stop at a checkpoint and brandished a gun at about 8:45 a.m. He was 38 and lived in Frederick. The two injured victims survived.

More here,  but there isn’t much.  Seems the story is being dropped down the memory hole.

And, maybe that is because the military is busy, busy, busy attempting to root- out the white supremacists Biden and Harris are sure are hiding within the ranks.

Meanwhile, only days after the Maryland shooting, the Pentagon’s new chief says the hunt is on for the extremists, an undertaking clearly inspired by the January 6th demonstration at the Capitol.  The Biden cabal believes they are insurrectionists.

I would like to know someday if Fantahun Girma Woldesenbet is an extremist of some stripe, but we will likely never know.

From Newsmax:

Defense Secretary Memo Addresses Extremism in US Military

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin III signed a memo on Friday in which he calls for “immediate actions” to weed out “extremist behavior” in the military.

The new orders come after Austin spoke with advisers and reviewed the results of the Defense Department-wide stand down issued in early February.

The memo said, “The vast majority of those who serve in uniform and their civilian colleagues do so with great honor and integrity, but any extremist behavior in the force can have an outsized impact.”

A study begins today!

Austin has commissioned a study “on extremist behavior within our Total Force, to include gaining greater fidelity on the scope of the problem.” And this group will meet around April 14 and be given 90 days to submit their “recommendations for medium-range and long-range plans to combat this scourge” to Austin.

VIDEO: The Vortex — Thank You, Mr. Trump. You did us all a great service.

TRANSCRIPT

Church Militant (a 501(c)4 corporation) is responsible for the content of this commentary.

It’s extraordinarily clear that the planet is breaking into two distinct camps — two different worlds. And before we pursue this any further, let’s be clear: We have Donald Trump to thank for this. During his presidency, sides were chosen by practically everyone, and what was accomplished was that everyone knew where everyone else stood. All the facades came down. All the cover-ups and phony “kumbaya garbage” all came to a screeching halt.

Of course, the Marxists hate this outcome because they have now been exposed. But so have the lukewarm Christianity types, the ones who actually let the world descend into its current hellish state. Good! And thanks again, Mr. President. It took a stolen election to finally wake up a sufficient number of people.

Moving on from songs of praise for the “new normal,” let’s turn our attention precisely to the new normal. The new normal is the revelation that the two worlds are comprised of one that believes in Christ and one that has Christ as its sworn enemy.

The separation is like a fertilized egg undergoing its first division, except, in this case, one of those new cells is seeking to destroy the other. The anti-God forces, having come to major prominence under the reign of the phony-Catholic, unelected Biden, are now on the ascent and dictating the narrative. In truth, they have been doing so for many decades, but not like this. The entire landscape has changed.

Prior to the election theft, they were operating in fits and starts, sometimes organized, other times not as much. But now they are all coalescing, and while they are still finding their footing, they will find it soon enough. For faithful Catholics, the truly disturbing part is that the large part of the Church, institutionally speaking, is cooperating with the anti-God side.

When it comes to the Church, America, freedom, tolerance, equality, morality, virtue, family, education, commerce, law, health, medicine, religion, politics, dignity and even life, each side’s view of all of these is 100% diametrically opposed to the other. The human race is spiraling toward either one of two ends: total devastation or a massive showdown between these two forces — and only one will be left standing.

Indeed, we are already in the throes of this happening. The anti-God forces have been gathering and collectivizing for decades, infiltrating every facet of life and culture and achieving near-total dominance. Meanwhile, the forces of those who hold traditional beliefs have been asleep at the switch, snoring their way through the Marxist takeover. And now as these people slowly rouse themselves from their slumber, they are finding they are being demonized, attacked and maligned in every one of the institutions.

It began most forcefully in the academy as hippie Socialists were churned out of the nations’ universities back in the 1960s and beyond. Within a generation, the hippies put on tweed jackets, pony-tailed their long hair, and proceeded to brainwash future students. Generation by generation, students graduated and moved into the workplace and up the corporate ladder or the political world, cementing one victory after another, giving us the world we have today.

Until Trump came on the scene, their activities were largely unnoticed. Even today, too few so-called conservatives seem to understand the urgency of the hour. Yet, with or without their knowledge, the storm clouds are gathering quickly as the media combine with government to launch the first attacks, beginning with accusations of “domestic extremism.”

But it’s not just an accusation of domestic extremism that’s the concern, but who the media are lambasting as extremists and a threat to the “American way of life.” The New York Times summed it up perfectly with the headline last week: “White Evangelical Resistance Is Obstacle in Vaccination Effort.” But what’s most telling is the subtitle: “Millions of white evangelical adults in the U.S. do not intend to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Tenets of faith and mistrust of science play a role; so does politics.”

While the Times focuses on evangelicals because a larger percentage of them (compared with Catholics) refuses to get the jab, there are millions of faithful Catholics who also will not be getting the experimental gene therapy injected into their bodies.

It is not a vaccine — remember that. In fact, we don’t even really know what it is. What we do know is that the whole COVID scare has been weaponized to shut down an economy, steal an election and propel the forces of world communism into the driver’s seat. It has also whipped up a quotient of fear that is easily manipulated by these malevolent forces. And now, if you refuse to get jabbed on either moral or scientific grounds, or both, you are a threat, a terrorist, a hillbilly clinging to your Bible and guns, as Obama would put it.

No one is saying COVID does not take a human toll. But to start forcing people to get a shot to engage in commerce, fly on a plane, walk into a store, and, for Catholics, to receive the sacraments, is insane — and the COVID crowd is absolutely on the side of anti-Christ and anti-God.

Mask up, stay apart, isolate, get a shot — and then even after the shot — mask up, stay apart, isolate, and get another shot. Something’s just not adding up. The very same forces that have lied through their teeth to us for decades — the ones successfully unmasked by Trump — are the very same ones pushing this fear narrative.

Trust is fundamental to any and every relationship, and it doesn’t matter what the nature of the relationship is. This is true in the media world, like here at Church Militant. You trust us to bring you truth and accuracy, and we take that trust as a foundational and serious obligation. You give us money through a variety of ways to sustain the effort here, and we guard that trust zealously.

Every relationship is built on a certain degree of trust, whether you’re buying groceries or getting married and everything in between. So when a trust is broken, depending on the intensity of the relationship, it can be devastating. And oftentimes that trust is never capable of being restored.

Such is the case now between the two temporarily coexisting worlds revealed by Trump in the White House. For example, the violation of trust that the U.S. hierarchy has exhibited these last many decades has probably reached the point of not being able to be restored. The same is true of cultural institutions and believers. What, precisely, have Catholic bishops or cultural leaders done to earn one modicum of your trust in the past half-century?

When it comes to living all this out, we need not pretend that this won’t get worse for authentic believers. It will — in fact, it has to. “Comfortable Catholicism” has come to an end. Thanks to Donald Trump, that is now abundantly obvious. So thanks again, Donald. You did the forces of faith a great service. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Exacerbating Racism in America

While America has unquestionably had deep racial problems and an agonizing history of oppressing Black people through slavery, Jim Crow, and other outrages, it seems that there are some among us who do not ever want to see the problems solved—or to admit progress in any form. There are those who make enormous profits, both monetarily and socially, by perpetuating the friction caused by America’s racist past, in contrast to Martin Luther King Jr.’s hope of a color-blind society.

Now comes word of a new “devotional” by a professor at a once-Baptist college. This “devotional,” a book geared toward helping its readers walk with God, is sold at a major retailer. Source: “Not the Bee,” 4/7/21.

It includes a “Prayer of a Weary Black Woman,” supplicating, “Dear God, please help me to hate White people. Or at least to want to hate them….I want to stop caring about their misguided, racist souls, to stop believing that they can be better, that they can stop being racist.” She also prays that she won’t just hate the Trump-supporters and Fox News-viewers.

This is wokeness on steroids—promoting hatred instead of love—in the name of God, no less, as long as it’s hatred promoting the right kind of racism. Is there a right kind of racism? Of course not.

Jesus said that we should love those who hate us and pray for those who persecute us. To whom is this “theologian” praying? It is certainly not the God of the Bible.

The sad thing about this example of horrible theology is that it exacerbates America’s racist problems, but worse, it pollutes the solution. The very solution to racism can be found in the Bible—but this book perverts it, as the KKK has perverted it.

I remember once interviewing a former killer for the Ku Klux Klan, Tommy Tarrants, Jr. The FBI agent trailing him called him a “mad dog killer.” When he was captured, he was sentenced to 30 years.

While in prison, he came across a Bible. He told me that formerly, he used to skim through the Bible—but just in a cherry-picking way, to find things that supposedly supported his racist views. But later when he actually read the Scriptures, he was convicted of his sin, including his sin of racism. Through the power of Jesus Christ, Tommy was thoroughly transformed. Tarrants even went on to pastor a biracial church and to co-write a book with a black evangelical minister, John Perkins. The book was entitled, He’s My Brother.

Evangelist Alveda King, MLK’s niece, once told me that we have stop thinking in racist terms: “You go to Acts 17:26, ‘Of one blood God created all people to live together on the earth.’ Now, if we are separate races, we cannot possibly be brothers and sisters. So, we have to see ourselves as one race, one human race, created by God, and we’re supposed to live together in this world as brothers and sisters. So, that’s a fundamental truth that America has not yet embraced. I believe in America in the twenty-first century, we still see ourselves as separate races. But we are one human race, and we are one blood.”

Indeed, we are all creatures of God, created in His image. And those who know the Lord through Jesus Christ are all children of God.

Many of America’s founders recognized how important private, voluntary religion was—how it shaped character. For example, Virginia’s first governor, Patrick Henry, observed: “The general diffusion of Christian knowledge hath a natural tendency to correct the morals of men, restrain their vices, and preserve the peace of society.”

Though primarily a Deist, Ben Franklin once noted (in a letter to the president of Yale): “the most acceptable service we render to Him is in doing good to His other Children.”

We tend to forget that this slice of time is between Christ’s first coming and His second coming.

What will things be like under Christ’s reign? In the book of Revelation, the Apostle John got a taste of life in heaven: “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.”

In heaven, there is no distinction between the races, so why should be there such distinctions here on earth among those created in the image of God? And why should anyone pray to God to put in their hearts a hatred for people with different skin color? May God grant us the grace to replace hate with love.

CNN Director: Network Hammering Gaetz ‘To Keep Hurting Him’ Because It’s ‘Great’ For Democrat Party

By Daily Wire, April 13, 2021

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released explosive video on Tuesday that appeared to show CNN Technical Director Charlie Chester admitting that the network has aggressively covered allegations that have been made against Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) “to keep hurting him” because it would be “great” for the Democrat Party.

“If the agenda say, is to like get, like Matt Gaetz right now, he’s like this Republican,” Chester said. “He’s a problem for the Democratic Party because he’s so conservative and he can cause a lot of hiccups in passing of laws and what not.”

“So, it would be great for the Democratic Party to get him out. So, we’re going to keep running those stories to keep hurting him and make it so that it can’t be buried and like just settled outside of court and just like, you know, if we keep pushing that, it’s helping us,” he added. “That’s propaganda because it’s helping us in some way.”

WATCH:

Other videos released by Project Veritas showed Chester admitting that the network’s “focus” was getting Trump removed from office and that the network creates “propaganda.” Chester also said that the network was going to use “fear” to push their climate change agenda.

On CNN and it’s employees working to oust Trump from office, Chester made the following remarks throughout various encounters that he had with an undercover Project Veritas journalist:

  • “Look what we did, we [CNN] got Trump out. I am 100% going to say it, and I 100% believe that if it wasn’t for CNN, I don’t know that Trump would have got voted out…I came to CNN because I wanted to be a part of that.”
  • “It’s going to be our [CNN’s] focus. Like our focus was to get Trump out of office, right? Without saying it, that’s what it was, right? So, our next thing is going to be climate change awareness.”

Public Kindergarten Enrollment is Plummeting—Here’s Why That’s a Good Thing

Children not enrolled in public kindergarten are not ‘missing.’ Their parents know exactly where they are.

Public school enrollment has consistently declined across most states this academic year, and there are new signs that the trend will continue this fall. On Thursday, New York City’s education department reported that kindergarten applications for the 2021/2022 school year dropped 12 percent, from 63,000 to under 55,500 applications.

Overall New York City kindergarten enrollment was down 9 percent this year and down 4 percent districtwide. Nationwide, an NPR poll found that public school kindergarten enrollment was down an average of 16 percent this academic year, and public pre-kindergarten enrollment fell substantially as well.

The further drop in fall public kindergarten enrollment applications in New York City suggests that this is more than a temporary pandemic response. Parents may be indefinitely pulling their kids from public schools, at least in some large districts where a return to full-time, in-person schooling has been elusive.

Headlines have emerged to suggest that parents choosing not to enroll their children in public pre-kindergarten or kindergarten programs this year and next are endangering their children’s academic outlook.

“These drops raise serious concerns for children’s early learning,” researchers wrote at the Brookings Institution in February. “These early-grade enrollment drops are troubling given the importance of early learning experiences for children’s school readiness.”

Calling the young children who are not currently enrolled in public schools “missing children,” the Brookings writers advocate for taxpayer-funded summer programming and heavy investments in public schooling to “assess the wide-ranging developmental needs of children and to target a host of needed supports” resulting from delayed or disrupted early schooling.

These children may be “missing” from public schools, but they are hardly “missing children.”

Many of the parents who have chosen to avoid enrolling their children in public pre-K or kindergarten programs have either delayed their child’s formal school entry or placed them in private schools that have been more likely to be open for in-person learning than district schools. Others have created pandemic learning pods with nearby families. Millions of parents decided to homeschool their kids this year, especially black families and those with lower incomes.

The real tragedy over the past year has not been that children are not in school, but that lockdowns and other pandemic policies have disconnected them from their larger communities, activities, peers, and extended family, leading to rising incidences of youth depression, deteriorating childhood mental health, and poor physical health through juvenile weight gain from inactivity. Lifting restrictive public health policies will improve children’s well-being, whether or not they attend a conventional school.

The push toward early school attendance has been so vigorous in recent years that many now think it’s a calamity if young children aren’t enrolled in a formal school setting. Democrats, in particular, have long embraced expanding taxpayer-funded, universal pre-kindergarten programs, including President Biden whose proposed multi-trillion-dollar infrastructure spending plan would funnel billions of taxpayer dollars toward these efforts.

As I wrote in The Wall Street Journal in 2019 encouraging parents to delay or forgo formal schooling for their children: “The trend over the past two decades has been toward more time in school, beginning at earlier ages and with an increased focus on academics. Schooling consumes more of childhood than ever, yet the benefits of early schooling remain unclear.”

Indeed, the Brookings Institution warned back in 2017 that the often-cited studies showing positive gains from pre-K programs are inadequate and that more in-depth studies of the lasting impact of public pre-K programs, including the Head Start Impact study and the Tennessee Voluntary Pre-K study, reveal that any short-term benefits were gone by the end of kindergarten.

More alarming, by third grade the academic performance of children in the Tennessee Pre-K program actually lagged behind the control group of children who did not participate in the program. Similarly troubling, by third grade the children in the Head Start program were found by teachers to have more behavioral and emotional issues than the control group of children who did not attend the program.

At worst, early school enrollment could be harmful to children’s immediate and long-term well-being. A 2008 longitudinal study concluded that “early school entry was associated with less educational attainment, worse midlife adjustment, and most importantly, increased mortality risk.”

A 2018 study in the New England Journal of Medicine found additional disturbing results of early school enrollment. In the study, researchers at Harvard Medical School discovered that, in states with a September 1 five-year-old kindergarten enrollment cut-off date, children who were born in August were 34 percent more likely to be diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), than their same-grade, but nearly six-year-old, peers who were born in September.

As every parent knows, a year can make a big difference in early childhood development. Putting young children into academically-focused schooling environments before they are developmentally ready can cause them to be misdiagnosed with, and even medicated for, learning and behavioral issues that might not appear if they enrolled in school later.

As the recent Brookings Institution article suggests, there is sure to be a strong push in the coming months to invest heavily in the “missing children” whose parents have delayed formal school entry or opted for private options during the pandemic response. This rhetoric, along with ongoing progressive advocacy for universal, taxpayer-funded prekindergarten programs, will attempt to persuade the public that early schooling is crucial for childhood and societal well-being and that “missing children” need particular help.

Don’t believe it.

Children who do not enroll in public pre-K or kindergarten programs are not “missing.” Their parents know exactly where they are. These parents are choosing to delay formal school entry, or they are selecting private education or homeschooling options for their children.

Given that the impact of early childhood public schooling programs is lackluster at best, and that delayed school entry may have positive results, many of these allegedly “missing children” may actually outperform their peers in the years to come. Rather than lamenting another academic year of lower public school enrollment, we should support the parents who are reassuming control over their children’s education from government bureaucrats and teachers unions, and applaud them for choosing alternatives to an assigned district school.

Situation Report: Antifa/BLM Riots Continue in Minneapolis and Portland

Hundreds rioted in the Brooklyn Center suburb of Minneapolis after a police-involved fatal shooting April 11. 20-year-old Daunte Wright was shot and killed following a traffic spot. Police reportedly determined that Wright had “outstanding warrants” and were attempting to arrest him when Wright re-entered his vehicle and attempted to flee the scene. Body camera footage released on April 12 appears to show one of the police officers yelling “I’ll taze you,” and “Taser, taser, taser!” just prior discharging their firearm.

The incident is under investigation.

Tensions rose swiftly throughout the day Sunday, as a protest march quickly devolved into rioting. Reports indicate that dozens of stores were vandalized and robbed. Minnesota State Police and National Guard troops were deployed to the area to reestablish order, and at least 500 National Guard troops are expected to remain in the area.

In one video shared via social media, activists can be heard on a loudspeaker encouraging the targeted doxxing of police and their families.

During the disorder, two men were reported fatally shot by unknown assailants, while a number of other shootings without fatalities were also reported overnight. While the exact motive for each shooting is unknown, it is not uncommon for local criminal elements to utilize the cover of riots and unrest to engage in targeted violence against rivals while police are fully engaged in breaking up rioting.

Meanwhile in Portland, Antifa elements once again launched attacks against the Portland Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility, a regular target of Antifa-organized riots. Rioters attempted to barricade the ICE facility from the outside, and then used incendiaries in an attempt to burn the building. Such arson attacks are a regular feature of Antifa violence. Despite this a majority of cases involving Antifa attacks on federal law enforcement and federal buildings have reportedly been dismissed.

Antifa-linked groups –including the Youth Liberation Front—have issued calls for actions in Minneapolis, the Pacific Northwest, Chicago, and the District of Columbia in response to the shooting.

How Corporate America Got Woke: A Review of ‘The Dictatorship of Woke Capital’

In his new book “The Dictatorship of Woke Capital,” Steve Soukup’s explores the rise of progressivism as a cultural force and explains why corporations increasingly are taking sides in politics.

How did corporate America, long considered one of the most conservative American institutions, become a lead protagonist in a culture war over all manner of progressive activism?

We now have a routine spectacle of corporate social responsibility seminars and environmental, social, and governance—or ESG—conferences, where widget makers of all kinds commit to promoting climate activism, identity politics, union labor, and sundry other causes. Somehow, selling an honest product at a fair price seems like a secondary concern in a corporate America increasingly focused on an array of stakeholders with such diffuse boundaries as “the local community,” “the global environment,” and “society at large.”

How did we get here?

Finance professional and political analyst Steve Soukup gives us a fascinating and in-depth answer in his disquisition on modern politicized investing, The Dictatorship of Woke Capital.

The first half of Soukup’s book is a high-intensity sprint through about a century and a half of intellectual history that name-checks everyone from Adam Smith and Karl Marx to Woodrow Wilson, Theodor Adorno, Saul Alinsky, and Milton Friedman. In Soukup’s telling, the shift began when Johns Hopkins University was founded in the image of Germany’s Heidelberg University in the late 19th century, and progressive political theory began to grow in popularity in the United States. The same trends later accelerated when a new generation of continental Marxism hit the US in the mid-20th century.

These developments brought about a revolution in how left-leaning theorists viewed the functions of government—and other large institutions like corporations.

First, in the progressive view, neither the old aristocracy nor liberal democracy were equipped to achieve the necessary goals of society. Rather, a professionally educated elite of administrators and bureaucrats was needed. This was the progressivism of theorists like Woodrow Wilson, Herbert Croly, and John Dewey. They carved out a large realm of governmental authority for administrators, but still considered their role to be outside of politics itself.

Eventually, however, political scientists and management experts, led by academics like Syracuse University’s Dwight Waldo, decided that expertly implementing democratically chosen policies was no longer enough. A subsequent generation of experts would be expected to substitute their own ethical and philosophical standards for those supported by voters.

“Public servants should become active, informed, politically savvy agents of change,” as one of Waldo’s colleagues would later put it.

This is the recipe for what critics of big government have come to call a permanent governing class—civil servants with effective lifetime tenure, collaborating with like-minded activists outside of government, who place their own judgment ahead of that of the voters and their elected representatives.

Yet, the trend of enlightened university graduates turning institutions toward progressive goals wasn’t confined to government agencies. The same logic would eventually apply to the management of corporations as well.

Soukup also recounts how, at the same time that American scholars of public administration and management were expanding their disciplines, self-proclaimed radicals like Antonio Gramsci in Italy, György Lukács in Hungary, and Max Horkheimer in Germany were attempting to revive Marx’s reputation and influence by explaining away many of Marxist theory’s failed predictions. When the German academics of the infamous Frankfurt School went into exile in the United States during Hitler’s rise to power, they began to exert significant influence on academics and writers in the US, culminating with unlikely pop-culture celebrity Herbert Marcuse.

Marcuse was widely associated in the popular imagination with political movements in the 1960s, from student radicalism on college campuses to free love on communes and beach blankets across America. While Soukup argues that he was less of a direct influence on left-wing politics than some have given him credit for, his ideas about the evils of capitalism and bourgeois society were very much part of the liberation politics that swept much of the world in the late 1960s and early 1970s. When soon-to-be Supreme Court Justice Lewis Powell lamented the increasing anti-business influence of radical leftists in his 1971 memo to the US Chamber of Commerce, one of the few people he criticized by name, besides Ralph Nader and Eldridge Cleaver, was Marcuse.

This revolution held that not only was a capitalist economy inherently exploitative, as classical Marxism teaches, but the entirety of modern society is repressive and dehumanizing, with everything from the nuclear family, organized religion, and formal schooling conspiring to circumscribe our essential natures and limit our infinite potential.

With so much of “the system” losing credibility, it was not surprising that public attitudes toward business, ambivalent even in the best of times, turned more hostile. Unfortunately for people with anti-establishment attitudes, there are never enough university fellowships and socialist newsletter editorial positions to go around. Well over 70 percent of Americans work in the profit-seeking private sector, once we subtract everyone who works for government agencies and non-profit organizations. This means that anti-capitalist ideas are coming from inside the building.

This conflict, in which many people—at both the entry-level and management-level—work at companies about which they feel morally ambivalent isn’t entirely a product of progressive ideology, but the academic theory behind it certainly didn’t help. My Competitive Enterprise Institute colleague Fred L. Smith, Jr. has written extensively on this problem—business leaders afflicted with an inferiority complex over their chosen profession and feel the need to “buy back” their moral standing in the world with leftist virtue signaling.

The second half of The Dictatorship of Woke Capital catalogs a series of controversial activist campaigns by some of the biggest names of Wall Street: Apple, Disney, and Amazon. The issues are varied, but the overall trend is nevertheless worrying. Rather than concentrating on what they know best and staying neutral in the culture wars, major companies have hitched their brands to one side of a contentious political divide. The verdict on whether this will ultimately be good for business is still very much uncertain.

Specific issues aside, the influence of all of those progressive and Marxist scholars the book documents can be seen in the modern claim that no institution should be outside the political realm. Soukup writes that “this battle is between those who believe that politics is and should be the overriding force in all human interactions and those who believe that politics is just part of the human experience, a part that is best kept as narrow and limited as possible.”

Attempting to turn every corporation in the world into a political combatant will not make the world a better place. One doesn’t have to be a conservative, like Soukup, or a free-market warrior of any description, to appreciate that.

More About Joe and the Jews

Democrat Jimmy Carter became the U.S. president in 1977, only 32 years after six-million Jewish men, women, children and infants were savagely starved, tortured, shot in cold blood, buried in mass graves and gassed to death by Hitler’s bloodthirsty Nazi regime in Germany and other East European countries.

Yet, the longtime Sunday school teacher could not control himself when it came to revealing his hatred of Jews and detestation of Israel––sentiments that ooze from his 96-year-old pores to this day.

This is who Democrats voted for. This is who Jewish Democrats voted for.

I thought that Carter would hold the all-time record for in-your-face anti-Semitism, but then along came Barack Obama, with his undisguised animus toward Israel and his appointment to influential positions of a huge number of career Jew haters and loathers of Israel. I listed all of them in my article “The Obama Voter––Not this Jew” (look it up).

As longtime journalist Ed Lasky of the American Thinker has written: “One seemingly consistent theme running throughout Barack Obama’s career is his comfort with aligning himself with people who are anti-Israel advocates.”

And, I would add, anti-American advocates!

This is who Democrats voted for. This is who Jewish Democrats voted for.

AS NIGHT FOLLOWS DAY

Right by Obama’s side for his entire eight years in office was VP Joe Biden, consistently endorsing, approving of and applauding his boss’s policies, including the Iran deal, which pretended to delay the world’s most malign terrorist state from acquiring nuclear weapons that the mullahs said then––and say today––are intended to eliminate the State of Israel.

But really no surprise. Ole Joe’s antipathy toward Israel goes way back. According to writer David Israel, in the summer of 1973, only months after he defeated a Republican incumbent to become the junior U.S. senator from Delaware, Biden visited the highest-ranking Egyptian officials and then––with treachery aforethought––delivered their disinformation to Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir.

“Biden told Meir that all the Egyptian VIPS affirmed Israel’s military superiority and assured him that it would be impossible for Egypt to go to war against Israel. “We all know how that turned out,” writer Israel reminds us, of the Yom Kippur War, with a decisive failure of U.S. Intelligence agencies (surprise, surprise!) and grave losses for our most reliable ally in the Middle East.

Ten years later, in June 1982, Senator Joe Biden banged the desk in front of him with his fist at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee meeting and threatened then-Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin with cutting off aid to Israel.

Begin forcefully responded: “Don’t threaten us with cutting off your aid. It will not work. I am not a Jew with trembling knees. I am a proud Jew with 3,700 years of civilized history. Nobody came to our aid when we were dying in the gas chambers and ovens. Nobody came to our aid when we were striving to create our country. We paid for it. We fought for it. We died for it. We will stand by our principles. We will defend them. And, when necessary, we will die for them again, with or without your aid.”

In 2015, on the occasion of Israel’s 67th birthday, then-VP Joe Biden said the following: “…I’ve had the great privilege of knowing every Israeli Prime Minister since Golda Meir and more than just casually. And I’ve worked with many of you in this room for up to 40 years. You know me. You raised me. You educated me. And I know you.”

As journalist David Israel wrote: “And we know you, too, President Joe Biden. And as you put it in 1973, we have no delusions.”

And just the other day, on April 8th, Holocaust Remembrance Day––the day that commemorates the six-million Jews who perished in the Holocaust––the Biden regime released its push for gun confiscation, red-flag laws, and the end of the 2nd Amendment.

“So that very day,” writer Steven Neill points out, “we remembered the deaths of six-million Jews at the hands of a tyrannical government and at the same time [Biden’s] government is going full Nazi!”

And in keeping with their vicious antagonism toward Jews and Israel, Joe Biden’s Democrat-run House Foreign Affairs Committee released a Yom HaShoah statement that omitted reference to the six-million Jews killed in the Holocaust and spelled Holocaust with a lowercase H.

Yet again, this is who Democrats voted for. This is who Jewish Democrats voted for.

RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX

Less than two weeks after his inauguration on January 20th, 2021, ole Joe immediately made key appointments of longtime Jew- and Israel-loathers. Here is a synopsis of those early appointments from my recent article, “Joe’s Jews”:

MAHER BITAR for Senior Director for Intelligence of the National Security Council (NSC)…according to Daniel Greenfield, an aggressive anti-Israel activist and Boycott/Divest/Sanction (BDS) supporter who has called for the destruction of Israel.

ANTHONY BLINKEN for Secretary of State…he has praised radical anti-Israel J Street as a ‘constructive force,’” and opposed designating the terrorist Iranian IRGC as a foreign terror organization.

KRISTEN CLARKE as head of the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice. Paul Miller, executive director of the Haym Salomon Center, documents that Clarke “has a troubling history of advocating for anti-Semites and representing anti-Semitic lies as ‘fact.’”

REEMA DODIN for Deputy Director of the White House Office of Legislative Affairs. According to the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA), Dodin’s background as a Palestinian propagandist and supporter of suicide bombings is so egregious that she should be fired on the spot. Dodin also organized anti-Israel rallies at UC Berkeley, and has spread Medieval-style blood libels…

AVRIL HAINES for Director of National Intelligence. Described as being rabidly anti-Israel…last May she signed a vicious J Street letter with 30 notoriously Israel-loathing former foreign-policy officials calling on the Democrat Party to oppose Israel’s lawful rights in Judea and Samaria.

KARINE JEAN-PIERRE for White House Press Secretary. The former head of MoveOn.org, a far-left anti-Israel group, she has praised lawmakers for boycotting pro-Israel groups and has accused Israel of “war crimes.”

JOHN KERRY as Envoy for Climate. Adam Berkowitz has written that “even the Israeli leftist newspaper Haaretz is appalled by John Kerry’s…utter capitulation to Hamas.” And Joseph Klein has written of Kerry’s farewell stab at Israel when he was Secretary of State under Obama.

ALEJANDRO MAYORKAS for Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, is a board member of HIAS, which partners with terrorism-financier Islamic Relief. He has undermined Israeli repatriation policies…and signed a letter defending and praising Jew-basher Linda Sarsour.

DENIS McDONOUGH for Secretary of the Veterans Administration. He has spoken at the anti-Israel J Street convention and falsely condemned Israel’s “occupation.”

SUSAN RICE for Domestic Policy Advisor (aka Biden’s Valerie Jarrett). The serial liar and inveterate Israel basher was Obama’s senior foreign-policy advisor and also John Kerry’s chief foreign-policy adviser when he ran for President.

WENDY SHERMAN for Deputy Secretary of State. Sherman negotiated the disastrous Iran deal. Again, ZOA spokesmen spell out Sherman’s threat to Israel of consequences from the United Nations (aka the virulently anti-Israel cesspool in NY City) if Israel did not accept a Palestinian (terror) state.

KEEPING UP THE DRUMBEAT

Since then, Biden has expanded his anti-Israel appointments and policies significantly. Clearly, whoever is running the show behind the armed camp at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue believes that nothing is more important than undermining, sabotaging, and “getting” the Jews and Israel.

Space limitations prevent me from elaborating at length, but here are the cold hard facts of some but not all of the Jew-and-Israel-detesting people Biden has appointed in just the past four or five weeks.

HADY AMR for Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, to be in charge, as Daniel Greenfield spells out, of setting the Biden administration’s policy on Israel––the perfect pick given his former praise for the “Palestinian” intifada and former role as a Fellow of the Brookings’ Doha Center for Qatar, a “tiny Islamic tyranny allied with Iran, Al Qaeda, and the Muslim Brotherhood…and a backer of Hamas.”

PETE BUTTIGIEG for Secretary of Transportation, the guy who now threatens to cut aid to Israel. As Greenfield explains, he is being advised by close associates of Obama and Soros, hence his wholehearted entrance into the anti-Israel echo chamber.

DEB HAALAND (D-NM) for Secretary of the Interior. In June 2020, she signed a vicious letter––along with anti-Semites Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY), and Democrat Betty McCollum (MN), et al––falsely accusing Israelis of violence against the people who call themselves Palestinians.

COLIN KAHL for Undersecretary of Defense. According to ZOA President Morton A. Klein and Chair Mark Levenson, Esq. Kahl has a dismal record of advocating pro-Iranian regime positions, opposing Iran sanctions, advancing an anti-Israel resolution at the U.N, holding anti-Israel positions, and promoting anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

ROBERT MALLEY for U.S. Special Envoy on Iran. Malley has a long and alarming record of anti-Israel hostility and appeasement of Iran, Hamas, the PLO, Yasser Arafat, Mahmoud Abbas, and Syria.

BETTY McCOLLUM, Democrat Representative from Minnesota, for the Chair of the House Defense Appropriations Subcommittee. The vocal anti-Israel lawmaker spews anti-Semitic tropes and aggressively supports cutting aid to Israel.

DENIS McDONOUGH for Secretary of Veterans Affairs). According to the ZOA, while serving as Obama’s chief-of-staff he gave a harsh, anti-Israel keynote speech at the anti-Israel group J Street’s convention and falsely and maliciously called Israel’s presence on historic Jewish lands guaranteed to the Jewish people under international law an “occupation of ‘Palestinian’ land.”

ERIN PELTON for Special Assistant to Biden and a Senior Adviser on Domestic Policy. She is a former lobbyist for Qatar, which has close ties to Iran, is a central hub for terrorism financing, and is also suspected of funding Hezbollah.

SAMANTHA POWER for head of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Obama’s U.S. ambassador to the United Nations has, according to the ZOA, an  “abominable anti-American, anti-Israel, pro-Iran record”… [and a] history of anti-Israel statements and actions….Power indeed uses the mantra of ‘human rights’ to condemn and damage human rights-loving countries, especially the U.S. and Israel, and to instead support murderous hateful regimes.”

JEN PSAKI, White House Press Secretary, As a State Dept. spokesperson during the Obama-Biden regime, she questioned Israel’s commitment to peace, defended the U.S. working with the Hamas-Fatah-Palestinian Authority “unity” government while Hamas’ charter calls for Israel’s annihilation and murdering every Jew in existence, and was incapable of saying yes when asked if Israel was an important ally of the U.S.

SYMONE SANDERS for Senior Advisor and Chief Spokesperson to the Vice President, a woman who gave a free pass to avowed Jew-hater Linda Sarsour after Sarsour’s violence-inciting statements, such as notorious tweet that throwing rocks at Israelis is “the definition of courage.”

UZRA ZEYA, who has a long record of denouncing the “Israel lobby,” according to journalist Hugh Fitzgerald, as well as her full supporting of the despotic and corrupt regimes of Hamas in Gaza and the Palestinian Authority in Judea  and Samaria, and promoting claims about Jewish media control and dual loyalty to Israel.

Once again, this is who Democrats voted for. This is who Jewish Democrats voted for.

BIDEN’S JEW-HATING POLICIES

In an act of stunning rudeness and blatant hostility, Biden consciously refuses to call Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for well over a month since his oath of office.

In February, Politico exposed a U.S. State Department official in the Biden Administration, Fritz Berggren, for operating a website on which he refers to Jews as “the seed of the serpent” and a “brood of vipers.” To date, no word of sanctions or firing of Berggren.

While Iranian-backed Iraqi militias were likely behind a deadly rocket barrage on a U.S.-led coalition base in northern Iraq in February, that didn’t stop Biden from releasing $3 billion in Iranian funds that have been frozen in Iraq, Oman and South Korea due to Washington’s sanctions. According to Rabbi Yaacov Menken, managing director of the Coalition for Jewish values, this funding violates the Taylor Force Act––signed by President Trump in 2018––which stops U.S. aid to the PA until it stops paying stipends to martyred terrorists. Every global terror organization is delighted to see President Biden in power,” Menken added.

Just as the Obama-Biden regime was infamous for leaking intelligence information that was horribly damaging to Israel, the Biden regime is already doing the same, leaking “to The New York Times that Israel attacked an Iranian ship in the Red Sea.”

Biden now intends to reinstate funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) — hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars a year for an agency that teaches “Palestinian” children to hate “the Enemy” Israel and believe “Jihad is the road of glory.”

The ZOA’s recent report on the U.S. State Department concluded, not surprisingly,  that it “is strongly biased against the Jewish State of Israel, relies on falsehoods from anti-Israel and terror-connected Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and others, and resumed using the inaccurate term “occupied” to refer to the ‘West Bank,’ Gaza Strip, Golan Heights, and eastern Jerusalem. The Trump administration had correctly and appropriately dropped the inaccurate term “occupied.”

Once again, this is who Democrats voted for. This is who Jewish Democrats voted for.

How could that be? What kind of psychopathology drives people to support a political candidate whose worldview and political philosophy wishes them dead? As Eileen Toplansky sagely asks: “American Jewry–– when will you wake up?”
