Biden Unveils Policy Honoring Osama bin Laden’s Old Friend

Jamal Khashoggi hated America and Jews. That’s why Biden loves him.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken began his confirmation hearing by reciting a family history of antisemitism. A month later he unveiled a ban named in the memory of an antisemite.

“Jamal Khashoggi paid with his life to express his beliefs,” Blinken claimed.

Those beliefs that Khashoggi gave his life for included his contention that the Protocols of the Elders of Zion were real, and that Jews were deceivers with no connection to Israel. It also included the Muslim Brotherhood member’s support for the Hamas war against Israel.

Last October, Biden falsely claimed that the world was “mourning Khashoggi’s death and echoing his call for people everywhere to exercise their universal rights in freedom.”

Jamal Khashoggi didn’t believe in universal rights or freedom. He believed in the absolute supremacy of Islam. He died in the service of two Islamist regimes, Qatar and Turkey, that have built their foreign policy around supporting Islamist terror and the suppression of human rights.

In conversations with American diplomats, he claimed that most Saudis supported Osama bin Laden because they hated America, and came out against education for women.

Osama bin Laden, Khashoggi’s old friend, also “paid with his life” for some similar beliefs.

Blinken’s remarks on what he and the Biden administration have dubbed the ‘Khashoggi Ban” targeting some of the Qatari agent’s alleged killers, called him a journalist, while neglecting to mention that Khashoggi got his start in ‘journalism’ through Adel Batterjee, whom the Treasury Department had at one time listed as one of “the world’s foremost terrorist financiers”.

In Afghanistan, Khashoggi churned out Jihadist propaganda with titles like “Arab Mujahadeen in Afghanistan II: Exemplifies the Unity of Islamic Ummah”,  “Arab Youths Fight Shoulder to Shoulder with Mujahadeen” and “Arab Veterans of Afghanistan Lead New Islamic Holy War“.

Who were these Arab youths?

“Khashoggi showed me a photo published in the English language paper Arab News, in 1988. It depicted him inside Afghanistan, standing with a tall, young, Kalashnikov-wielding Saudi named Usama Bin Laden,” Barnett Rubin wrote in Afghanistan from the Cold War through the War on Terror.

That wasn’t accidental. Jamal Khashoggi and Osama bin Laden were good friends.

“We were hoping to establish an Islamic state anywhere,” Khashoggi reminisced about their time together in the Muslim Brotherhood. “We believed that the first one would lead to another, and that would have a domino effect which could reverse the history of mankind.”

That came from Lawrence Wright’s epochal book, The Looming Tower. In Thomas Hegghammer’s Jihad in Saudi Arabia, he noted that, “Bin Ladin and Azzam actively encouraged and facilitated the visit of Saudi journalists such as Jamal Khashoggi to Afghanistan.”

That’s a reference to Abdullah Azzam, a founder of Al Qaeda, known also as the Father of the Global Jihad. In Peter Bergen’s, The Osama Bin Laden I Know, Khashoggi describes becoming an “activist” in “political Islam”, meeting Azzam, and having Osama bin Laden invite him to Afghanistan.

Osama bin Laden, Khashoggi wrote, “decided to contribute his experience and capabilities to the Mujhadeen”. He glorifies Osama, quoting his boasts and praises, and contacts his mother.

The media knew all along who and what Jamal Khashoggi was. He made no real secret of it. The leading journalists writing about the origins of Al Qaeda invariably brushed up against Khashoggi, often using him as a source because of his ties to Osama bin Laden.

The reinvention of Khashoggi into the Horst Wessel of the Democrat foreign policy establishment didn’t happen because the media didn’t know his track record.

Jamal Khashoggi was a member of the violently antisemitic Muslim Brotherhood, who at the time of his death was planting columns from Qatar, a state sponsor of the Brotherhood, in the Washington Post. Now, Khashoggi is the subject of his very own government policy.

That policy comes courtesy of the Biden administration.

In October, Biden had claimed that, “Jamal’s death will not be in vain, and we owe it to his memory to fight for a more just and free world.” A just and free world is the last thing that Khashoggi would have wanted. But Biden is fighting for the kind of world he did want.

The Biden administration picked Iran over the Saudis in Yemen, he picked the old Saudi establishment that Khashoggi was associated with over its reformist crown prince who had favored rights for women, and he’s moving to pressure Egypt over the Muslim Brotherhood.

Much as Blinken monetized a family history of antisemitism in support of an antisemite.

These policies that will deprive millions of human rights are being done in the name of human rights even if it’s only the human rights of Osama bin Laden’s old friend who has since gone to join him in whatever Islamic paradise of virgins that Jihadists believe awaits them in the afterlife .

While the Biden administration erects its Khashoggi Ban, it’s working to tear down the Taylor Force Act. Unlike the Khashoggi Ban, the Taylor Force Act was passed by Congress.

Taylor Force had been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, and had served at Fort Hood in the year of the infamous Islamic terrorist attack on the base, but was killed in Israel as a civilian.

The American veteran was murdered by Bashar Masalha, an Islamic terrorist who received a hero’s funeral and was praised by the Palestinian Authority.

“The Martyr Bashar Masalha returned from Qalqilya to his village Hajja in a procession,” PA TV gushed, describing the burial of a terrorist who had murdered an American as a “national wedding” in which he was “embraced by the soil of his homeland as a Martyr.”

In response to the Palestinian Authority’s refusal to stop funding terrorism, the Taylor Force Act attempted to cut off foreign aid to the terrorist entity. While the Trump administration took the Taylor Force Act and other laws preventing the government from funding Islamic terrorists, the Biden administration is working to bypass it and send money to the terrorists killing Jews.

Secretary of State Blinken, fresh from describing the travails of his ancestors who suffered pogroms and genocide, would like to go back to paying Islamic terrorists to kill Jews.

And Americans in general, like Taylor Force.

Meanwhile, the Khashoggi Ban will make Osama bin Laden’s friend an official martyr, not of Al Qaeda, but of the Biden administration.

Christ was Cancelled First

Elizabeth A. Mitchell: The Cross clings to us and overwhelms, as it did Peter in the courtyard.  Because there is no turning back from acknowledging Christ.

In the courtyard of the High Priest, on the evening of Holy Thursday, a palpable fear will grip Peter’s heart. His Master is arrested. The powers of this world are entering into their triumph, and Peter is next in their sights.

Christ Himself foresaw this moment of crushing dread which would overwhelm his friend: “Simon, Simon,” He asserts, “Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat.  But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail.  And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” (Luke 22:31-32)

In a famous exchange, Peter protests, sure that he will be able to face the mob and its fury when the moment arrives: “Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death,” to which Jesus answers, “I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.” (Luke 22:33-34)

To deny that we even know Christ – not that we love Him, or are active doing His work, or are complicit in His mission – No! – only to own that we know Him, will be the testing ground on which we will be sifted.  All of us.

The power that the cancellation of goodness exerts – the fear it elicits in our hearts – is stunning.

But Christ was cancelled first.  He chose to be eliminated from the earth, from the powers that be, from acceptance by the very creatures He had loved and formed from dust.  Willingly.  Lovingly.  As the preferential path of true meaning and power in His Almighty plan.

And so, like Peter, we must confront Christ’s paradox.  Everything we believe is failure and loss and waste in our lives – the good deed unnoticed, the kindness rejected, the example scorned, the love denied – is precisely the point.  The point of immolation.  And there, true life begins, in Christ – in His cancelled, bloodied, broken body, in His offering of self on the Cross,  and in our hearts.

And what comes in return?  What comes from laying down our lives with Christ?  Power, strength, and the Divine Life that pour forth through us and through our silent, hidden, unseen act.

All because cancellation, and self-offering, and hidden love take place in the darkness and in the silence: behind the door of a cell block at Auschwitz; behind the grille of the Carmel of Lisieux; behind the walls of the Tower on a July day; and outside the city, with the criminals, near Jerusalem.

And in all of this, Christ knows we will need His strength.  Without His prayers, “I have prayed for you” (Luke 22:32), we would not be able to do it. Because often we forget that worldly success and approval are not our goals.  We work and strive and seek to be someone in this world.  We seek the validation that our efforts deserve.  And then, Christ chooses for us another way.  His Way.

And in all of this we bear our Cross with Christ, and He with us.  We must realize that the Cross is always placed on our shoulders in love.  He chooses us to bear His Cross, He shares His chosen treasure with us.  And we shirk the invitation.  The Cross is embarrassing.  The Cross is a mark of failure.  And yet the Cross is the only door through which true life enters.

We hang this sign of Christ’s chosen cancellation in our churches, in our classrooms, in our homes, and around our necks.  Why do so, then, if we run from its call?

As St. Maximilian Kolbe reminds us, “reverses and other crosses purify. . .us.  We must have much patience with ourselves and even with our good God who tests us out of love.”  He will never let the Cross crush you.  When we accept it with free will, a balm comes from its precious wood.

And yet, the fear is great.  It clings to us, and overwhelms, as it did Peter in the courtyard.  Because there is no turning back from acknowledging Christ.  The mob is merciless; its condemnation complete.  We can often sense a moment of witness coming upon us, in a conversation, in the workplace, in our relationships.  Here it comes.  I can commit to my convictions and press forward or take the off-ramp.  I need to decide.  The time to choose is now.  How often, I veer to the safe lane and off my course.

But always – always – Christ takes us back.  He strengthens us.  He hears our denial, he sees our struggle, and He looks at us with His gaze toward Peter, in power and tenderness, understanding reproach, and the call to become more with the help of His love.

And we are strengthened by His gaze.  We do not despair as Judas did, because His strength is greater than our failure.  We acknowledge that we need Him, that we have not defined ourselves irreversibly, as a success or failure.  Everything has meaning only when we relinquish it to Him, uniting our efforts to His strength.

And then, when we offer it to Him, He acts.  And we proclaim with St. Paul, “my strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9).  Christ always brings good out of evil.  What is more, He brings greater good than if the evil had never existed.  There is not one situation, one movement of the heart, one apparent failure, that He has not permitted.  He knows.  And He waits for the perfect time to make whole.

And His restoration is greater than before.  His crucified Heart has gone before us.  He is not in the tomb.  “One short sleep past, we wake eternally, and death will be no more; Death, thou shalt die.” (John Donne, Holy Sonnet X)  Cancelled no more, Our Lord restores us and leads us to Eternal Life.

Visit Donald Trump’s Save America PAC, Hear Directly from The Man!

If you support the MAGA movement and President Donald Trump, become a member of his new Save America PAC.

But, you don’t have to be a founding member (yes, contributor!) to see the President’s press releases.

LOL! You can tell by the wording of this one about Karl Rove from yesterday, that this is definitely Trump’s voice.

Who needs Twitter!  This is just like his tweets, only wordier!

Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America

(March 4, 2021)

Karl Rove has been losing for years, except for himself. He’s a RINO of the highest order…

[….]

Karl Rove’s voice on Fox is always negative for those who know how to win. He certainly hasn’t helped Fox in the ratings department, has he?

Never had much of a feeling for Karl, in that I disagreed with so many of the things he says. He’s a pompous fool with bad advice and always has an agenda.

[….]

If the Republican Party is going to be successful, they’re going to have to stop dealing with the likes of Karl Rove and just let him float away, or retire, like Liddle’ Bob Corker, Jeff “Flakey” Flake, and others like Toomey of Pennsylvania, who will soon follow. Let’s see what happens to Liz Cheney of Wyoming.

For a laugh, there is more.

Tracking All of Joe Biden’s False or Misleading Claims

THE WASHINGTON POST SAID THEY WON’T FACT CHECK JOE BIDEN. HE ROUTINELY SAYS THINGS THAT AREN’T TRUE, AND SOMEONE HAS TO DO IT. THEREFORE, THE GELLER REPORT WILL FACT CHECK FALSE STATEMENTS PRESIDENT BIDEN MAKPES REEATEDLY.

MARCH 1ST – BIDEN SAYS HISPANIC ARE THE FASTEST-GROWING POPULATION IN THE UNITED STATES – IT’S NOT TRUE.

Before a meeting with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, Biden highlighted the two nations’ historical ties by noting that many Americans have Mexican ancestry. The goal is obvious: the Left hates America and the American people. For them, any under-advance country is better than America.

“As you know, the fastest-growing population in the United States is Hispanic,” Biden said on March 1. “And 60% of the Hispanic population is Mexican American. They’re an integral part of our history.”

But none of this is true.

According to Census Bureau data:

  • The ethnic group with the fastest growing population are the Asian Americans: +28.7% from 2010 to 2019.
  • The Hispanic population ranks second, at 20%.
  • The Native Hawaiian-Pacific Islanders, right behind them at 19.6%.
  • Sadly, the White are last, lamenting their own inability to keep a position they see diluting.

FEBRUARY 24 – BIDEN REPEATS THE OFTEN DEBUNKED LIE THAT TRUMP TOLD PEOPLE INFECTED WITH THE CORONAVIRUS TO DRINK BLEACH

  • Joe Biden took a cheap shot at President Trump during a remote White House event for Black essential workers about the COVID-19 pandemic co-hosted with White House domestic advisor Susan Rice.
  • Biden said in a veil reference to Trump:

“I think there’s a growing awareness that, uh, um, you know, uh, injecting bleach into your system doesn’t do it for you.”

  • No, Trump didn’t tell Americans infected with the coronavirus to drink bleach, Politifact confirmed on July 11, 2020.

FEBRUARY 23 – BIDEN DECLARED THAT WHITE SUPREMACISTS ARE THE “GREATEST TERROR THREAT” TO THE COUNTRY.

  • In 2020, the Department of Justice brought exactly five criminal cases against “white supremacists.” 14 individuals were charged.
  • In 2019, another five cases. 75 people charged. Many of them members of the “1488s”, a vicious Nazi-type group that deals narcotics and assaults people.
  • It’s a similar situation on the state level. Last year in all 50 states there were only three prosecutions tied to “white supremacy.” Nine individuals were charged. Nine. In 50 states.
  • In 2019, the number of white racists charged: eight.

“So, what exactly are Joe Biden and his far left supporters talking about?” asked Bill O’Reilly.

FEBRUARY 20 – JOE BIDEN CLAIMS TO HAVE TRAVELED 17,000 MILES WITH PRESIDENT XI, WASHINGTON POST NOTES THIS IS UNTRUE

  • Washington Post investigator Glenn Kessler awarded President Joe Biden “Three Pinocchios” Friday for claiming he traveled 17,000 miles with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
  • Biden has made this claim several times in recent years.

I traveled 17,000 miles with him, the President of China … we went around the world together, to the United States and China,” he said during the January 2020 campaign.

On February 7, 2021, he said:

“My point was that when I came back from meeting with him and traveling 17,000 miles with him when I was vice president and he was the vice president — that’s how I got to know him so well.

The Washington Post has verified and concluded that Biden’s statement is false and misleading, intended to make it appear that it knows President Xi well.

“Biden’s mileage number has kept us puzzling till our puzzler was sore.

As far as we could tell, the only time Biden and Xi appear to have traveled together was when they visited Qingchengshan High School in Dujiangyan. In theory, one could add in the trip from Beijing to Chengdu, a distance of about 1,000 miles. But when Xi came to the United States, Biden and Xi did not even follow a parallel route to Los Angeles.”

FEB. 19 – BIDEN SAYS TRUMP HAD NO VACCINATION PLAN – HE’S LYING

  • Just over four weeks agoAmerica had no real plan to vaccinate most of the country,” said President Joe Biden in remarks at a Pfizer manufacturing site.
  • “President Joe Biden made misleading claims while boasting about his administration’s progress in getting Americans vaccinated against COVID-19” concluded Factcheck.org.
  • Trump had a plan, which was complicated by the various policies of state governments.
  • The truth is that Trump’s “Warp Speed” operation not only developed vaccines in record time, but also developed plans to distribute the vaccine throughout the country.
  • Trump’s Secretary of Health and Social Services presented its distribution plan in September 2020.

FACTCHECKING BIDEN’S TOWN HALL: NOT GOOD

President Joe Biden got some facts wrong and spun others in a Feb. 16 town hall that aired on CNN.

  • He said it was “not true” that he had revised his 100-day school reopening goal, saying it “was reported” that he meant a majority of schools only need to be open one day a week. That’s exactly what his press secretary had said.
  • Biden left the false impression that the preceding administration had contracted for fewer COVID-19 vaccines than it actually had.
  • The president wrongly claimed that Federally Qualified Health Centers would now receive 1 million vaccines per week. That’s the total number of vaccines that they will receive, not the weekly amount.
  • He claimed, without evidence, that racehorse owners receive tax breaks worth almost $9 billion.
  • Regarding his $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief plan, Biden said there is “consensus among economists left, right, and center” that “we can’t spend too much.” Some center-left economists say the plan may be too large. In fact, there is no consensus.
  • The president wrongly said the federal minimum wage of $7.25 would be $20 if it had been indexed for inflation; he instead meant if it had been indexed for worker productivity.
  • Biden wrongly claimed the “vast majority” of immigrants living in the U.S. illegally are not “Hispanics,” but “people who came on a visa … and didn’t go home.”Most of the unauthorized population came to the U.S. illegally from Mexico and other Latin American nations.
  • Biden talked about how he met with China’s now-President, Xi Jinping, while Biden was vice president, and then returned to the US and mused about China’s demographic challenges.

He said, “And I came back and said they’re going to end their One China — their one child policy, because they’re so xenophobic they won’t let anybody else in, and more people are retired than working. How can they sustain economic growth when more people are retired?”

It is not even close to true that more people in China are retired than working — even today, let alone when Biden was vice president and the Chinese workforce was younger. China reported having about 775 million employed people at the end of 2019; China had a reported 254 million people aged 60 or above, the normal retirement-benefits age for men.”The working aged population has peaked and is now declining and retirees are growing rapidly, so the ratio of workers to retirees is becoming less favorable. But the ratio is still greater than 1,” said David Dollar, an expert on the Chinese population who is a Brookings Institution senior fellow.

THE PROUD BOYS EXCHANGE

  • Biden said:
“You may remember in one of my debates with the former President, I asked him to condemn the Proud Boys. He wouldn’t do it. He said, ‘Stand by. Stand ready.’ Or whatever the phrasing exactly was.”
  • Not true: After debate moderator Chris Wallace asked Trump if he was willing to condemn white supremacists and militia groups, and Biden interjected to mention the Proud Boys in particular, Trump said:
“Proud Boys, stand back and stand by.”

Q Mr. President, can you explain what you meant last night when you said that the Proud Boys should “stand back and stand by”?

THE PRESIDENT: I don’t know who the Proud Boys are. I mean, you’ll have to give me a definition, because I really don’t know who they are. I can only say they have to stand down, let law enforcement do their work. Law enforcement will do the work more and more. As people see how bad this radical, liberal, Democrat movement is and how weak — the law enforcement is going to come back stronger and stronger.

But again, I don’t know who Proud Boys are. But whoever they are, they have to stand down. Let law enforcement do their work.

Q So, Mr. President, did you misspeak when you said “stand by”? That’s my — my first question. When you said —

THE PRESIDENT: Just “stand by.” Look, law enforcement will do their work. They’re going to stand down. They have to stand down. Everybody — they have to stand — whatever group you’re talking about, let law enforcement do the work.

Now, Antifa is a real problem, because the problem is on the left and Biden refuses to talk about it. He refuses to issue the words “law and order.” And you saw that last night when he choked up. He can’t say the words because he’ll lose the rest of the left. So he’s got to condemn Antifa. Antifa is a very bad group.

  • Then, in an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, Trump explicitly condemned the group:

“I’ve said it many times, let me be clear again, I condemn the KKK [Ku Klux Klan]. I condemn all white supremacists. I condemn the Proud Boys.

“I don’t know much about the Proud Boys, almost nothing, but I condemn that.”

FEBRUARY 17 – BIDEN LIES WHEN HE SAYS THERE WAS NO VACCINE WHEN HE TOOK OFFICE

  • President Joe Biden falsely stated during the two hall meeting organized by CNN on Tuesday evening that his administration had no vaccine when he took office.

“We didn’t have a vaccine when we came into office.”

Fact check: Biden is a liar.

FEBRUARY 13 – BIDEN PROMISES TO “FOLLOW THE SCIENCE” AGAINST THE PANDEMIC, THEN FOLLOWS THE UNIONS… AGAINST THE SCIENCE

  • The Biden administration has made it a point of pride to have science drive their pandemic response after the Trump administration was accused to downplay the virus and clashed with its own health experts (when they abused their position to meddle in subjects that are not in their area of expertise).
  • During his campaign, Joe Biden regularly accused President Trump of not “following the science” and the recommendations of scientists in the fight against the Chinese coronavirus.

“We will let the science do the talking,” Biden repeated in his speech on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, about his administration’s approach to the pandemic.

  • And Biden did just the opposite. Scientists immediately noticed that Biden did not keep its promise to put science first in pandemic policy.Under pressure from teachers’ unions, the White House distanced itself from Rochelle Walensky, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), who said that “schools can safely reopen without vaccinating teachers”. White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Dr. Rochelle Walensky was speaking “in a personal capacity” – a lie – because she made her statement at a White House briefing for reporters.

Biden said [he] wouldn’t interfere with scientists, but that’s what this walk back is,” Joseph Allen, associate professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, said over Twitter. “Undermining new CDC Director 3 weeks in is not a good look.”

  • Chris Christie also said: “Biden should follow the science, not teachers.”

RESTORING THE MORALE OF DIPLOMATS: A BIG MISSED OPPORTUNITY

  •  During his first visit to the State Department as president on February 4, Biden attempted to restore American diplomatic and moral leadership, who had often been viewed with suspicion by Trump’s White House.

“You are at the center of everything I intend to do,” he told them before his keynote address. “You are the heart of it. We will rebuild our alliances.

  • And instead, Biden filled the senior administration positions with former Obama State Department officials who had gone into the private sector – leaving out the current administration officials, whom he had just told he was “at the center of everything he intends to do,” blocking them from promotion internally.

“It was a major missed opportunity,” said Brett Bruen, a member of the Obama administration’s National Security Council. adding that “the Biden administration was filling senior ranks with former State Department officials returning from the private sector — rather than promoting from within.”

  • Moreover, his fine speech was deemed hollow. Policy specifics were few. Instead, Biden laid out how getting the process right would translate into action. Mr. Biden showed that he is more focused on getting the right diplomatic processes than on concrete results, a return to traditional diplomacy.

“This administration is going to empower you to do your jobs, not target or politicize,” he told diplomats, in a slightly veiled jab at Trump. “We want a rigorous debate that brings all perspectives and makes room for dissent. That’s how we’ll get the best possible policy outcomes.”

  • There were few surprises in the speech, said Dominic Tierney, professor of political science at Swarthmore College :

“One of the hallmarks of the Biden doctrine is the clarity on the means of foreign policy as much as the ends,” he said. “So although there wasn’t a huge amount of precision on exactly what he was going to do about Russia and so on, there was clarity on the process — that we’re going to work with allies.”

  • Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy agrees:

“The Biden approach certainly can’t be characterized as ‘America first,’” said Gaffney before Biden’s speech. “If this president puts America last, our national decline will be his lasting legacy.”

FEBRUARY 11 – BIDEN’S PROMISE TO REOPEN SCHOOLS MEETS WITH A MESSY REALITY

  • During the campaign, President Joe Biden pledged to reopen most American schools within his first 100 days in office. We have just learned that this promise was made of thin air, without any intention of keeping it. On Tuesday, February 9, when asked what Biden meant by “open schools,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki  said Biden was committed “to ensuring schools are open five days a week”For the record, Catholic schools have been reopened since September. It is true that their operating costs are three to four times less than public schools, and their results are four to five times better.

FEBRUARY 5TH – BIDEN LIES AGAIN, TELLING A FALSE WAR STORY THAT HE WAS SHOT AT IN BAGHDAD

  • Joe Biden continues to lie about his past. He has repeated a story, which has been disproved by the fact checkers, that he was shot while he was in a conflict zone.In a 2007 debate, Biden claimed that he was targeted in Baghdad’s Green Zone. He was avait dû se rétracter his statement after receiving criticism from veterans. But, either because he is out of his mind, or because he is a serial liar and is not used to being called by the media, he just did it again.Biden reiterated his lie when he spoke to State Department employees on Thursday :

“You have great personal courage. I was with some of you when we were shot,” Biden told a group of diplomatic assistants in Washington.

  • Patrick Campbell, then legislative director of the Veterans of America for Iraq and Afghanistan, told  The Hill at the time :

“Veterans don’t like it when people mischaracterize their service, people who overstate what happens to them,” he said. “We have names for them.”

ON FEBRUARY 3RD, BIDEN REPEATS THE LIE ABOUT THE “KIDS IN CAGES” UNDER PRESIDENT TRUMP

  • Joe Biden lied again about the accusation that Trump put illegal migrant children in cages. This accusation has been dbunked a multitude of times by all the fact checkers – which are left-wing. It was under Obama that these cages were built and it was under Obama that these children were locked in cages.
  • Biden said, when signing an executive order :

“We’re going to work to undo the moral and national shame of the previous administration that literally, not figuratively, ripped children from the arms of their families.”

The following photo, which has been widely circulated to prove that Obama, not Trump, built the cages, shows Jeb Johnson, Obama’s Homeland Security Secretary, visiting the border detention centers.

FEBRUARY 3 – THE $2,000 STIMULUS CHEQUE BECAME $1,400.

  • On January 4, Biden told the public during a speech in Atlanta that if the Democrats regained control of the Senate by winning Georgia the next day, a $2,000 stimulus check would be mailed to the American people as soon as possible.

“Their election will put an end to the block in Washington — that $2,000 … would go out the door immediately, to help people who are in real trouble”.

  • On January 10, Joe Biden reiterated that $600 stimulus checks proposed by Congress are too little money.

  • By January 30, Biden broke his promise to voters who may have been expecting $2,000 checks. The $2,000 had melted under the sun when the Democratic Party announced in a tweet that the president would send only $1,400.

@POTUS will build on the $600 down payment provided by Congress last year, sending an additional $1,400 to households across America, totaling direct payments to $2,000 per person.

  • Biden’s lie was to consider the $600 in aid voted in December as a down payment. He never said, on January 4 in his speech, that he would send $1,400, but $2,000. By playing with words, he misled the public.

FEBRUARY 1 – BIDEN JABS THAT FOREIGN COMPANY CONTRACTS WENT UP 30% UNDER TRUMP

“Under the previous administration, the federal government contracts awarded directly to foreign companies went up 30 percent. That is going to change on our watch” said President Biden, in remarks during the signing of an executive order on U.S. manufacturing, Jan. 25, 2021.

  • On January 27, 2021, Biden made this comment at a “Made in America” ceremony to announce new rules to encourage federal agencies to buy more U.S.-made products. In fact, Biden misled the Americans who listened to him. So much that he received a three Pinochios from The Washington Post!SAM.gov’s Fact Checker revealed an increase of only 8.4% in spending on foreign contracts between FY 2017 and FY 2020. Overall, this represents a three-year average annual growth rate of 3%, far from the 30% announced by Biden. The consequence of this lie is that he is going to be able to dramatically increase spending with foreign entities (guess which one, it’s a communist country), while at the same time making it look like he’s lowering it.

JANUARY 29TH – “THOSE WHO GOVERN BY DECREE ARE DICTATORS”

      • There are “Things you can’t do by executive order unless you’re a dictator. We’re a democracy. We need consensus”, said Biden in October.
      • He has now signed more executive orders than any president in his first week.

JANUARY 26 – BIDEN CLOSES BORDERS AFTER CALLING TRUMP “XENOPHOBIC”

      • On February 2, 2020, after Donald Trump’s decision to ban flights from China, Joe Biden accused him of being “hysterical and xenophobic”:

We are in the midst of a crisis with the coronavirus. We need to lead the way with science — not Donald Trump’s record of hysteria, xenophobia, and fear-mongering. He is the worst possible person to lead our country through a global health emergency.

  • And what is Biden doing on Monday, January 25th? Same as Trump (except that no media calls him xenophobic). US President Joe Biden maintained Monday travel restrictions on dozens of countries due to health concerns amid the COVID-19 pandemic, issuing an executive order as the world discovers new coronavirus variants.Biden’s widely-expected order leaves in place restrictions on travel from the 26- country Schengen Zone in Europe, as well as the UK, Ireland, and Brazil, while adding South Africa. Former US President Donald Trump had moved to lift the Europe and Brazil bans on his second to last full day in office.

JANUARY 24 – BIDEN PROMISES TO SOLVE THE PANDEMIC …

  • On October 23rd, 10 days before the elections, Biden declared: “I am going to shut down the virus, not the country”.
  • But on January 21st, he said: “There is nothing we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic in next months”
  • During his inauguration speech, Biden repeatedly stated that he wants to unify the nation. He is lying. If he wanted to unify the nation, he would have publicly asked Congress not to pursue Trump’s impeachment. He would have started a process that would benefit the country by appeasing the 75 million Americans who voted for Donald Trump. And I would have applauded his decision.
  • Last August, Biden said, “I will not ban fracking. Let me say it again. I will not ban fracking, no matter how many times Donald Trump lies about me.
  • Tuesday night, White House press secretary Jen Psaki confirmed that President Biden will ban new fracking on federal lands: “President Biden promised to end all new oil and gas leases on federal lands when he was a candidate,” she said.
  • Biden signed an executive order requiring masks on federal property… and he broke his own mask mandate on first day of his presidency, at the Lincoln Memorial, where he was seen without a mask.

eBay BANS Six Dr. Suess Books While Selling Nazi Memorabilia, Hitler’s Mein Kampf, Hardcore Porn

The Democrats, like the Nazis, are burning, destroying every good, moral thing in the cause of race ideology.

eBay Removes Six Canceled Dr. Suess Books

So now even those trying to sell their copies can’t do so. From the story: A spokeswoman for the website told the Washington Examiner on Thursday that it would no longer be allowing sellers to list six books that have been deemed by Dr. Seuss Enterprises, the company that preserves Theodor Seuss “Ted” Geisel’s legacy, as containing racially insensitive imagery (Washington Examiner). From Dan McLaughlin: This is particularly absurd given that several of the books contain “offensive imagery” only in the most extenuated sense of irritating left-wing zealots. You can still find plenty of listings on eBay for bongs, sex toys, provocative semi-nude photos of porn stars, old issues of Penthouse, framed covers of Hustler, handguns, rifles, swords, machetes, even copies of Mein Kampf, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and The Anarchist Cookbook. Tintin in the Congo is still for sale, and so is Chairman Mao’s Little Red Book. But apparently, On Beyond Zebra is beyond the pale (National Review).

ILLINOIS: Men Convert to Islam, Plot Jihad Mass Murder, Plan Attack on Chicago Naval Station

Where did Joseph Jones and Edward Schimenti learn about Islam? Has their local mosque been investigated? Why not?

“Zion man sentenced to 12 years in federal prison for conspiring to assist ISIS,” by Jason Meisner, Chicago Tribune, March 3, 2021 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

A north suburban man was sentenced Wednesday to 12 years in federal prison for attempting to aid the Islamic State terrorist group by providing cellphones to an undercover FBI agent to be used as detonators for bombs.

Joseph Jones and his friend Edward Schimentiwere [sic] convicted by a federal jury in 2019 of conspiracy to provide material support to a terrorist organization.

In rejecting prosecutors’ request for a 17-year term, U.S. District Judge Andrea Wood said that while any terrorism case is serious, the scheme that Jones was convicted of “was not of comparable severity” as many others where specific violence was planned.

“This is not a case where anyone claims Mr. Jones was actually planning on carrying out a terrorism attack,” Wood said. “And it’s not disputed … that Mr. Jones never actually made contact with anyone directly involved with ISIS.”…

Jones also insisted he was never out to hurt anybody but simply “trying to be a good Muslim and a good American.”

“I consider myself a patriot,” he said in a voice choked with emotion. “I have my own view and my own beliefs, and it’s not about hatred.”

In asking for a 17-year sentence, Assistant U.S. Attorney Barry Jonas wrote in a court filing that although the friends were not planning to travel overseas themselves to fight, they celebrated the violence that ISIS perpetrated and believed they were assisting in it.

“The defendants deliberately attempted to assist an extremely violent terrorist group they knew was engaged in a wide range of atrocities,” Jonas wrote. “Not only were defendants aware of these atrocities, they celebrated them, gleefully watching horrific execution videos and sharing such ISIS propaganda online.”…

Jones found Islam as a teen and credits the religion with helping get him sober, Boyle said. But his continuing research on the formation of an Islamic state “took him to dark places on the internet,” including “slick” videos produced by ISIS that glorified attacks on civilians, which Jones does not condone.

“He believes that Islam never justifies violence against people who are just trying to live their lives,” Boyle wrote.

Renewing an argument from trial that Jones was entrapped by undercover FBI agents, Boyle said that Jones feels betrayed by the government and that “they pressured him into something he didn’t want to do.”…

Jurors were shown one propaganda video found on Schimenti’s computer showing terrorists clad in all black standing behind six captured Kurdish fighters whispering prayers while on their knees. Prosecutors stopped the video as the terrorist narrating it in English held a large knife up to the throat of one of the captives….

In February 2017, Schimenti took the informant to a gym in Zion to train for the battlefield. Remarking on his own weight problem, Schimenti said on an undercover recording that what mattered most in jihad was “hand-to-hand” combat skills, not physical fitness.

“Man, you know I’m all big, fat,” Schimenti said on the recording played for jurors. “But (God willing) the brothers will just have me be the one to cut the neck.”

Although the charges do not allege the two participated in any violence, Schimenti talked with the informant about future plans to attack Naval Station Great Lakes in North Chicago, a short distance from his home.

On April 7, 2017, Schimenti and Jones dropped off Mohammed at O’Hare International Airport equipped with cellphones they had purchased at his direction, according to the charges.

“Drench that land with they, they blood,” Schimenti allegedly said as he and Jones saw the man off at the airport.

Boyle told reporters he was “disappointed” that jurors rejected his argument of entrapment….

Trump Unleashes Flurry Of Endorsements For Politicians Across The Country

Former President Donald Trump endorsed three candidates with statements from the Save America PAC on Friday evening.

Republican South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster, Republican Idaho Sen. Mike Crapo and Republican Arkansas Lt. Gov. Tim Griffin received Trump’s “Complete and Total Endorsement,” according to statements released by Save America PAC.

“Henry McMaster has been a great Governor for the wonderful people of South Carolina. He is Strong on the Military, our Vets, Crime, and the Second Amendment,” the statement read. “He has also been a fabulous Chief Executive for his State. Henry has my Complete and Total Endorsement as he runs for re-election!”

McMaster was one of Trump’s earliest supporters, according to PBS. Trump endorsed McMaster in his first full-term gubernatorial campaign in 2018.

Crapo, who has held his position since 1999, is up for re-election in 2022. He had voted against convicting Trump in the former president’s second impeachment trial.

“Mike is tough on Crime, Strong on the Border, and fights for our Military and our Vets,” Trump said in his statement. “He will continue to be a Champion for our Second Amendment and the great Outdoorsmen and Women of Idaho and the USA.”

Griffin previously announced his intention to run for governor of Arkansas but withdrew his nomination after Sarah Huckabee Sanders joined the race, NBC affiliate KARK reported.

“Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin, who is running for Attorney General, is a highly respected Army Veteran who will always fight for the great people of Arkansas,” Trump said in his statement. “Tim will be tough on Crime, defend our Second Amendment, loves our Military and our Vets, and will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the brave Men and Women of Law Enforcement.”

VIDEO: Intolerance is a Virtue

Tolerance is a virtue and intolerance is hate, or so we are told. This ideology has led to the toleration of evil. After all, who wants to be a hater? Those who condemn the evil caused by the doctrine of political Islam are called intolerant and haters.

But we must realize that intolerance of evil is a virtue.

Things to be intolerant of: killing Christians and Yazidis in the Middle East and Africa; jihad of rape, inbreeding, child marriage and female genital mutilation.

To reduce human suffering, we must all become intolerant of evil.

THE BIG LIE: Beto O’Rourke slanders GOP as ‘Cult of Death’ — ‘Literally Want to Sacrifice’ Lives

In a rant on Wednesday on MSNBC’s Deadline, failed presidential candidate and gun-grabbing former Rep. Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke called the Republican Party  a “cult of death” after Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott lifted the COVID-19 mask mandate.

“They literally want to sacrifice the lives of our fellow Texans, for I don’t know, for political gain? To satisfy certain powerful interests within the state? This isn’t hyperbole,” O’Rourke claimed. No, it is not hyperbole; it’s a lie. In fact, it is the coronavirus hysteria itself, not the lifting of the mask mandate, that was, and continues to be, exploited for political gain — by Democrats.

“I think to many of us it appeared to be a cult of personality, the Republican Party in the era of Trump, and it probably still holds true. It’s hard to escape the conclusion that it’s also a cult of death,” O’Rourke blathered. Actually, it’s easy to escape that conclusion because it too is a lie, a demagogic demonization of O’Rourke’s political enemies.

O’Rourke rambled on falsely about “extraordinarily anti-democratic elements… literally running the government of the state of Texas” with an “indifference” that “is killing people in my community and throughout the state of Texas.”

The truth is that Texans and Americans all over the country have had enough of the leftist fear-mongering and exploitation of the coronavirus, and of the economic devastation wrought by the draconian lockdowns. The lifting of the mask mandate is the first step toward liberating Americans from this Democrat power grab.

Senate Hearing on ‘Armed Insurrection’: NO GUNS Recovered at Jan. 6th Capitol Breach

Of course the same can’t be said about the Democrat Antifa riots.

“Armed insurrection”?

The lies are exposed, but the ministry of propaganda (the media) won’t report it.

FBI Counterterrorism Official: No Firearms Recovered During Jan. 6 Capitol Breach

By Jack Phillips, Epoch Times, March 3, 2021:

An FBI official on Wednesday testified at a Senate hearing that she has no knowledge of any guns being recovered from suspects who were arrested during the Jan. 6 Capitol breach.

When asked by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) about whether firearms were recovered or if any suspect was charged with firearms offenses, FBI counterterrorism official Jill Sanborn responded: “To my knowledge, none.”

But in the hearing, Sanborn also said that before the Jan. 6 incident, “We knew they would be armed, we had intelligence that they would be coming to DC, but we did not have intelligence that they would be breaching the Capitol.”

“I believe that the only shots that were fired were the ones that resulted in the death of the lady,” Sanborn also testified, referring to the officer-involved shooting of Ashli Babbit.

Johnson previously told news outlets that the term “armed insurrection” used by some Democratic officials, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), and mainstream news outlets is incorrect as no guns were recovered.

Videos posted online appeared to show some alleged rioters in melee battles with Capitol Police officers. In one instance, a man was seen hitting an officer with an American flag. A firearm was also recovered from a van containing Molotov cocktails near the Capitol complex, according to reports. Officer Brian Sicknick died either during or after the melee, but officials have not released his cause of death—while his mother told the Daily Mail last week that she believes he died of a stroke and wasn’t beaten to death by a fire extinguisher, as some reports suggested.

“I would say, if it’s properly termed an ‘armed insurrection,’ it was a pretty ragtag one,” Johnson remarked in his interview with the New York Times last week.  “This didn’t seem like an armed insurrection to me. When you hear the word ‘armed,’ don’t you think of firearms? Here’s the questions I would have liked to ask: How many firearms were confiscated? How many shots were fired?” he also said.

Johnson added: “If that was a planned armed insurrection, you really have a bunch of idiots.”

The senator’s comments drew a rebuke from media pundits and congressional Democrats, who attempted to characterize him as someone who is sympathetic to the rioters.

Separately on Wednesday, the U.S. Capitol Police said Wednesday it has obtained intelligence pointing to a possible plot by a militia group to breach the building on Thursday.

The statement did not name the organization but called it “an identified militia group.” Thursday marks the date when some have claimed that Trump, defeated by Biden in the Nov. 3 election, will be sworn in for a second term in office.

A day before that, FBI Director Christopher Wray said that the Jan. 6 incident is being classified by the agency as “domestic terrorism.”

The U.S. Justice Department has charged more than 300 people with taking part in the Capitol breach. Among those arrested were members of right-wing groups such as the Oath Keepers, Three Percenters, and Proud Boys. The Oath Keepers and Three Percenters are armed militia groups.

There was no indication that the Senate or House would alter their legislative activities on Thursday. The House is aiming to debate and pass a policing reform bill on Thursday. The Senate could be in the midst of a potentially long debate and votes on a COVID-19 aid bill.

House Democrats PASS voting bill to enshrine and federalize ELECTION FRAUD practices

This bill represents a fundamental transformation of our election system. If passed the Republican Party may never win a national election. The people of West Virginia must contact Senator Joe Manchin to make sure that he keeps his promise to not end the filibuster. Otherwise this radical legislation will pass the Senate, and be sent to President Biden to sign into law.

Federalizing election fraud. Game over.

House Democrats pass extensive voting and campaign finance reform bill, H.R. 1

Legislation would create a new $3B public financing system of federal elections

By Fox News, March 4, 2021

The House of Representatives Wednesday passed Democrats‘ signature voting and campaign finance reform legislation that aims to expand access to the polls, fight partisan gerrymandering and set up new public funding for congressional races.

The For the People Act of 2021, known as H.R. 1, passed by a vote of 220 to 210. No Republicans joined with Democrats in approving the sweeping voter rights reform that now heads to the Senate.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif, said the legislation is needed to combat voter suppression efforts in states, to crackdown on corruption and to diminish the influence of big donors in politics.

“This is called the For The People bill,” Pelosi said Wednesday at an H.R. 1 event prior to its passage. “And in doing so, we combat big, dark, special-interest money in politics and amplify the voice of the American people.”

A major pillar of the legislation is setting up a new public financing system for congressional and presidential elections to incentivize small-dollar donations. The legislation would establish a 6:1 match for each grassroots contribution to a candidate up to $200.

For example, a $200 donation to a House candidate would garner a $1,200 match in public funds for a total contribution of $1,400.

The public match program would be funded by a new 4.75% surcharge on criminal and civil penalties and settlements that corporations pay to the U.S. government. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimated this week the new revenue stream would generate about $3.2 billion over 10 years.

Republicans blasted the public financing provision as a way to line the campaign coffers of members of Congress.

DEMOCRAT House passes sweeping bill to CUT AND DEFUND POLICE

Another unbelievably dangerous piece of legislation from the House Dems. They are on a roll this week. The Senate filibuster is the only mechanism we have to prevent dangerous legislation from becoming law. The people of West Virginia must contact Senator Manchin to make sure he keeps his promise to not end the filibuster.

House passes sweeping bill to overhaul policing

By Market Watch, March 4, 2021

WASHINGTON — Cheered on by President Joe Biden, House Democrats hustled Wednesday to pass the most ambitious effort in decades to overhaul policing nationwide, able to avoid clashing with moderates in their own party who are wary of reigniting a debate they say hurt them during last fall’s election.

The sweeping legislation, which was first approved last summer but stalled in the Senate, was named in honor of Floyd, whose killing by police in Minnesota last Memorial Day sparked protests nationwide. The bill would ban chokeholds and “qualified immunity” for law enforcement and create national standards for policing in a bid to bolster accountability.

“My city is not an outlier, but rather an example of the inequalities our country has struggled with for centuries,” said Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., who represents the Minneapolis area near where Floyd died. She asked her colleagues if they would “have the moral courage to pursue justice and secure meaningful change?”

Democrats say they were determined to pass the bill a second time, to combat police brutality and institutional racism after the deaths of Floyd, Breonna Taylor and other Black Americans following interactions with law enforcement — images of which were sometimes jarringly captured on video. Those killings drew a national and international outcry.

Floyd’s family watched the emotional debate from a nearby House office building.

But the debate over legislation has turned into a political liability for Democrats as Republicans seized on calls by some activists and progressives to “defund the police” to argue that Democrats were intent on slashing police force budgets. This bill doesn’t do that.

Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez said it was a reason the party, after talking confidently of growing its majority in November, instead saw it shrink to just 10 seats, 221-211.

“We played too much defense on ‘defund the police,’” Perez said.

Fatah Commission of Information and Culture depicts Netanyahu as Hitler

The Palestinian resistance is a jihadist assault on the state of Israel. It disseminates propaganda to justify human rights abuses that would never be tolerated if they were perpetrated by Christians or Jews. The so-called “far right” is routinely compared to Hitler, even though Hitler was leftist (as is evidenced by the name of his party, the National Socialist German Workers Party). Nazi Germany launched an “extensive propaganda campaign in the Middle East and North Africa during World War II.”

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has stated that no Jew will live in a Palestinian state. He also did his PhD dissertation in Holocaust denial. And now this. Yet far too many Western governments still support pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel resolutions at the UN, even as the Palestinians continue their gross antisemitism and jihadist attacks on the state of Israel, calling them a just “resistance” and manipulating victimhood in the face of historical truths.

Abbas teaches Palestinians that “Jews must be fought for Allah on behalf of all humanity.” The soft bigotry of low expectations allows the Palestinian leadership to scream victimhood while being the aggressor.

“Netanyahu is Hitler – Antisemitic Fatah cartoon,”

by Nan Jacques Zilberdik, Palestinian Media Watch, March 2, 2021:

The antisemitic cartoon above was posted by Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah Commission of Information and Culture. It shows Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as Hitler with Hitler’s mustache and a Nazi uniform with Stars of David on blue instead of Swastikas on red on his tie and arm band. Netanyahu is making a Nazi salute and blood is dripping from his hand.

Headline: “He killed the Palestinians with the weapon of racism!”
Text on cartoon: “Adolf Netanyahu”

[Website of the Fatah Commission of Information and Culture, Feb. 16, 2021]

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) internationally accepted working definition of Antisemitism, includes “drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.”

The PA and Fatah have often disseminated this specific kind of Antisemitism by comparing Israel in general and Netanyahu in particular to the Nazis. Fatah has portrayed Netanyahu as a Nazi officer:

Netanyahu has been called Nazi propaganda minister “Goebbels’ outstanding student”:

And recently Palestinian Media Watch documented that Netanyahu was referred to as “the ugly face of Mussolini and Hitler:

Israel as such has been called “fascist and Nazi” and the behavior of Israelis has been compared to that of the Nazis prosecuted at the Nuremberg trials….

If Critical Race Theory turns everything into race, isn’t it racist?

An unpleasant incident at an elite US women’s college shows the danger of trusting feelings over facts.

Last week the New York Times resurfaced a notorious racial profiling incident that took place in 2018 at Smith College, in Northhampton, Massachusetts. The story has struck a chord globally because of the light it sheds on the race struggle underway in the United States—a struggle now rippling across the Western world.

Smith College is the largest of the “Seven Sisters”, elite colleges for women in northeastern US; tuition, room and board for its students are about US$78,000 a year. Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush, and Gloria Steinem are amongst its distinguished alumnae.

In the summer of 2018, Oumou Kanoute, a black student, was eating lunch alone in a dorm lounge. She was approached by a janitor and a campus police officer who inquired as to what she was doing there.

The encounter was distressing for Kanoute, who felt it to be part of a year-long pattern of harassment. “All I did was be Black,” she later wrote on Facebook. “It’s outrageous that some people question my being at Smith College, and my existence overall as a woman of colour.” She was especially upset that the officer was likely carrying a firearm.

The president of the college apologised to Kanoute, put the janitor on paid leave, and hired a law firm to investigate the incident. Apologising for the affair, the president wrote,

This painful incident reminds us of the ongoing legacy of racism and bias in which people of colour are targeted while simply going about the business of their ordinary lives.

In the months following, officials at the college emphasised “reconciliation and healing” and announced anti-bias staff training and the creation of separate dormitories for students of colour.

The problem, of course, is that the investigation eventually found no “persuasive evidence of bias”. As a Times opinion columnist highlights, “the narrative of racist harassment of a minority student at an elitist white institution turned out to be comprehensively false.”

Michael Powell, the Times reporter covering the story, summarised the findings of the law firm’s investigation:

Ms. Kanoute was determined to have eaten in a deserted dorm that had been closed for the summer; the janitor had been encouraged to notify security if he saw unauthorised people there. The officer, like all campus police, was unarmed.

Unwittingly, Powell exposes the postmodern dilemma underlying the events at Smith College. He writes of “the tensions between a student’s deeply felt sense of personal truth and facts that are at odds with it.”

Truth be told, Kanoute’s “deeply felt sense of personal truth” did a lot of damage. She named and doxxed a janitor and a cafeteria worker who weren’t even involved in calling campus security that day. The stress of this caused a flare-up of lupus in one and anxiety attacks for the other—not to mention death threats.

And there was of course the national impact: the amplification of claims that the United States is “systemically racist”—a narrative that was never tempered by the ultimate findings of the law firm, since the news cycle had long moved on.

Owing to their breed, bogeymen aren’t easily put back in cages.

We know this, not just from the Smith College incident, but a string of apparently racist incidents that have turned out to be short on facts and long on a “deeply felt sense of personal truth”. Jussie SmollettBubba Wallace and the Covington Affair are just a few that spring to mind.

To the credit of the New York Times, columnist Bret Stephens was permitted to dissect the incident in an insightful piece called “Smith College and the Failing Liberal Bargain”. (This was a somewhat surprising compromise from an outlet that suffered multiple newsroom revolts over comparable stories in 2020).

Stephens asks, “Why does the embrace of social justice pedagogies seem to have gone hand in hand with deteriorating race relations on campus?”

Indeed.

Stephens rightly discerns that the Smith College affair is further evidence, not merely of a racial struggle in the West, but a brewing cultural revolution. “Liberal ideals themselves are up for renegotiation,” he warns.

That much is clear to anyone who has examined Critical Race Theory in some depth, the ideology shaping this revolution. Despite assertions to the contrary, Critical Race Theory is not simply about racial sensitivity. As I have documented elsewhere,

The West has long prized evidence, logic and reason as the way to discern truth from falsehood. Critical Race Theory rejects this, claiming that every part of the Western liberal order—including ideas like merit, rational inquiry, the rule of law, and individual liberty—are the very tools being used to perpetuate white supremacy and oppress people of colour.

When Stephens writes that “liberal ideals themselves are up for renegotiation,” he really means it. And he has the receipts. As Stephens points out, this is not mainly a “left versus right” battle: it’s an all-out war between the liberal left and the Woke left. “Well-meaning liberals,” he writes, “don’t seem to understand the illiberal nature of what they are facing.”

By every measure, Critical Race Theory is racism by another name. Writes Stephens,

In place of former notions of fairness toward individuals regardless of race, the Woke left has new ideas of “restorative justice” for racial groups. In place of traditional commitments to free speech, it has new proscriptions on hate speech. In place of the liberal left’s past devotion to facts, it demands new respect for feelings.

What we are witnessing is postmodernism in full flower. And given its penchant for raw power, it won’t go away until the morally courageous stand up and name it for what it is.

VIDEO: Judge Orders Election Do-Over after 78% of Mail-in Ballots Proved Fraudulent

A judge is ordering a new runoff election for the Ward 1 alderman seat in Aberdeen.

In the sixty-four-page order, Judge Jeff Weill not only calls for a new election but also finds evidence of fraud and criminal activity, in how absentee ballots were handled, how votes were counted, and the actions by some at the polling place.

In his ruling, the judge said that sixty-six of eighty-four absentee ballots cast in the June runoff were not valid and should never have been counted. Nicholas Holliday was declared the winner by a 37 vote margin. Robert Devaull challenged the results in court.

Judge Weill found many irregularities with absentee ballots. He issued a bench warrant for notary Dallas Jones, who notarized absentee ballots. During a hearing, Jones admitted violating notary duties.

“When you have an absentee ballot, there’s an envelope, you vote, fold the ballot, put it in an envelope, lick the flap, sign across the flap, then notary signs your election certificate, she testified that she didn’t sign in front of anybody, didn’t see anybody sign it, she just notarized it, just stamped them,” said Lydia Quarles, attorney for Robert Devaull.
