‘Break It Down’: No Consequences for Pro-Terrorism Protestors Assaulting White House

Ten weeks ago, I wrote of a November 4 protest at the White House in which a pro-Hamas mob “cursed the U.S. president, waved the flag of a foreign adversary, and endeavored to breach the White House compound.” No one was held accountable for that vile display of hate and anti-Semitism, even from the president ostensibly committed to the extermination of these evils. So, in the least surprising development ever, the pro-terrorism protest happened again this Saturday, only bigger and bolder — and again with no consequences.

This weekend’s protest imitated the earlier one in many respects: a large crowd assembled in Freedom Plaza before moving over to the White House and attempting to scale the fence. Again, rallygoers — including not only Arabs, but white college students, black race activists, and red communists — donned the black-and-white Palestinian keffiyeh scarf. Again, they left behind a mess of trash and graffiti in Lafayette Park. Again, they chanted curses at an absent president, as well as subtle endorsements of genocide, such as “Free Palestine.” Again, they flew the flags of foreign powers inside the White House’s protective fence.

And again, all who committed lawlessness at the protest got away with it. “During the demonstration near the White House complex Jan. 13, a portion of the anti-scale fencing that was erected for the event sustained temporary damage. The issues were promptly repaired on site by U.S. Secret Service support teams,” said the Secret Service, adding that they made no arrests.

D.C. Police Chief Pamela Smith told reporters, “a majority of today’s demonstration remained peaceful,” but “there were instances of illegal and destructive behavior in Lafayette Park, including items being thrown at our officers.” Her statement did not indicate that D.C. police had made any arrests. Conservative reporter Julio Rosas, who was on the scene, posted on X/Twitter, “I did not personally see anyone get arrested outside the White House tonight.”

The sizable crowd — reported at anywhere from “tens of thousands” to “400,000” — overflowed Freedom Plaza, east of the White House, as buses arrived from 20 states to swell the crowd for the post-lunch rally. Organizers pompously dubbed the gathering, “The March on Washington for Gaza,” a nod to the famous Civil Rights-era event during which — unlike Saturday’s protest — the attendees actually marched to Washington on their own two legs. At around 2 p.m., an Islamic call to prayer, in Arabic, was played over loudspeakers at the park, which sits on Pennsylvania Avenue between the White House and the Capitol.

Attendees smothered the event in hundreds of Palestinian flags, including one apparently larger than my house. Other flags spotted at the event include the Islamic Jihadist flag, used by U.S.-designated foreign terrorists organizations, and the national flags of Egypt (the Gaza Strip’s other neighbor), Yemen (where the Iran-backed Houthis are based), South Africa (which, despite its own history of apartheid, accused Israel of genocide before the International Court of Justice), and Tunisia (which recently considered a bill to criminalize normalizing relations with Israel).

Of course, the Progress Pride flag flew there, too, right under the flag of Palestine, where the powers that be would likely kill and torture anyone who identified as any sort of LGBTQ identity. Meanwhile, the Party for Socialism and Liberation (a communist party) sponsored a banner that read, “End all U.S. funding for Israeli apartheid.”

Just before 3 p.m., the crowd began to assemble for a march on 14th Street NW, exiting Freedom Plaza from its northwest corner. At 4 p.m., the protestors began a half-circuit of the White House complex, heading north on 14th Street NW, then west on K Street NW, then south on 17th Street NW, before finally arriving at the northeast corner of the White House complex around 4:50 p.m. A large number of protestors eventually filled Pennsylvania Avenue and the adjacent Lafayette Square.

The only known arrest associated with Saturday’s demonstration occurred along the march route. On 14th Street NW, between H Street and I Street, a man brandished a knife at the head of the march. One protestor quickly disarmed him, and police took him into custody. It seems implausible that the knife-wielding man was present to attend the protest. The man’s attire (bright orange jacket and dayglow-yellow hat and gloves) and his behavior are more consistent with a mentally unstable member of D.C.’s population, many of whom congregate in Franklin Park, a block from the incident. If so, then his arrest was a sad, bizarre intrusion of D.C.’s ordinary affairs into this national protest.

Ironically, the protestors had no problem with D.C. police closing the route of their march to vehicular traffic. Thousands of protestors walked right past scores of uniformed officers without so much as an insult. Yet after hours of such peaceful cooperation — or at least co-existence — within 15 minutes of arriving at the White House, the protestors were attempting to break through barricades.

By 5:02 p.m., conservative journalist Wid Lyman reported, “Protestors are shaking the outer fence at the White House.” At 5:16 — when it was still not quite dark — Rosas concurred, “Palestinian protesters aggressively shake and hit the security fence outside the White House.”

During the next half hour, the number of protestors swelled as more marchers completed their trek. Protestors lit flares in the colors of the Palestinian flag, draped Palestinian flags and keffiyehs on the statues of Lafayette Square, graffitied public property, and threw “bloody baby dolls” over the White House fence. They began throwing other items, too: water bottles, rocks, even staves broken off from the flags they carried.

As protestors continued to hit and rattle the security fence, they took to chanting, “Break it down!” Now, both their actions and their words declared their desire to breach the White House’s perimeter. Rosas reported at 6:13, “Palestinian protesters have shaken the fence so hard that they have moved portions of it back.” In an improvement upon the previous protest, this time the Secret Service had installed a second, temporary fence, comprised of heavy metal screens that locked together. Unlike the permanent fence, this one was not anchored to the ground.

The tensest moment came around 6:45 p.m., when protestors shook the fence so violently that they managed to partially dis-attach one section of the temporary fence at the top. As the crowd chanted, “Free Palestine” and rattled the fence in a terrible clanging, another conservative journalist, Mark Naughton, captured the moment on video in real-time, from the thick of the fray.

Secret Service agents — who had already donned riot gear — rushed to repair the fence. Protestors predicted they were about to be pepper-sprayed as officers shook up cans in preparation. At least one officer had to climb a ladder by the wildly swinging fence to secure it. “Police were not able to fix the broken fence and had to attach makeshift clamps,” reported Lyman. As officers reattached the fence, the crowd booed and began shouting, “Shame on you!”

Although the situation was quickly resolved, it did alarm the Secret Service, prompting them to order a partial evacuation of the White House. “As a precaution, some members of the media and staff in proximity to Pennsylvania Avenue were temporarily relocated while the issue was being addressed,” said the Secret Service.

The near-breach in the security perimeter might have prompted Secret Service to call in reinforcements. About 15 minutes later, more police officers appeared and dispersed the crowd. By 7:43, all that was left were the items thrown from the crowd.

The massive protest received strikingly light media attention. “I saw no obvious MSM yesterday in DC covering the massive protest,” wrote Naughton. “Some well equipped media maybe MSM (no affiliation hats or jackets) at the literal start line of the March but by the second block, all were gone. When some protesters became aggressive at the White House, only @Julio_Rosas11 and @Wid_Lyman and a few unknown media remained.”

Rosas echoed the sentiment, describing the media’s response as “passive coverage, instead of an outrage cycle.”

There were a couple stories, such as this one by PBS, but they contain little firsthand reporting of the actual riot. This, despite the fact that White House reporters were evacuated when the fence was breached; the mainstream media was situated inside the barricades, not in the crowd.

Two conversations captured during the fracas demonstrate that the protestors themselves knew that their actions were 1) not peaceful and 2) not going to change anyone’s mind. Unfortunately, some of the exchange was inaudible, but the rest is a profound denunciation of the protestors’ tactics and motivations.

In one exchange, a protestor standing by the fence asked the one standing next to him, who was shaking it with all his might, “What is the point of this [rattling fence]? [inaudible] for our point to get across?” “Yes, yes,” the other replied. “Honestly, how old are you? What’s going to happen? Do you think now he’s [Biden] going to change his mind, because you’ve proved to him that Palestine is [inaudible]?”

Afterward, another protestor exhorted those shaking the fence, “Why are we doing this? Let’s do this s*** right, bro.” Someone asked him, “Okay, what is ‘right’?” He replied, “‘Right’ is doing it peacefully, singing our songs, and doing our dances.” Those around him called him a crude name and then ignored his advice.

The fringe-left street activists aren’t alone. Employees of as many as 22 federal agencies, including the Executive Office of the President, the National Security Agency, the Departments of State, Defense, Homeland Security, and Veterans Affairs, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and the Naval Research Laboratory, planned to participate in an illegal strike on Tuesday, organized by an anonymous group calling itself “Feds United for Peace.” They planned to observe a “Day of Mourning,” as Tuesday is the 100th day since Hamas’s terror attack. However, their plans came to nothing, as all federal offices in the D.C. area were closed anyway due to a winter storm.

Somehow — does it have to do with the dissidents within the system? — the Left’s constant pressure on Biden is having an effect on his foreign policy. Although the majority of Americans supports Israel and is disgusted by the Left’s uncivilized street demonstrations, the Biden administration is heeding its warnings, ratcheting up pressure on Israel as the radical Left turns up the heat on the White House. “The president’s patience is running out” on Israel’s war in Gaza, an anonymous official told Axios on Sunday. Several weeks ago, Biden abruptly hung up on Netanyahu after a tense exchange.

After his administration has done everything possible to slow down Israel’s war and making its task harder, Biden is now annoyed with Israel that it hasn’t won yet. Or, perhaps more correctly, Biden is channeling the anger of those who are annoyed that Israel fought back at all after Hamas’s October 7 terror attack. Meanwhile, Israel’s surrounding enemies have no desire for peace and continue to attack, with a Hezbollah rocket attack killing more Israelis on Tuesday.

In addition, the U.S. military’s passive response to provocations have emboldened other Iranian proxies in the Middle East to conduct bolder attacks. As of Thursday, the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen had launched 27 attacks on vessels in the Red Sea, in addition to a number of missiles aimed at Israel. On January 9, they escalated the situation even further by directly attacking U.S. military ships. “These attacks have endangered U.S. personnel, civilian mariners, and our partners, jeopardized trade, and threatened freedom of navigation,” complained Biden. “More than 2,000 ships have been forced to divert thousands of miles to avoid the Red Sea — which can cause weeks of delays in product shipping times.”

In response, the U.S. finally launched retaliatory strikes against the Houthis on Thursday and Friday.

The pro-terrorism protestors outside the White House had this message for American forces trying to keep the world’s most important shipping lane open for business: “Hands off Yemen.” Wouldn’t that be nice, if we could do so?

On Sunday, the Houthis launched an anti-ship cruise missile towards a U.S. Navy ship it was capable of sinking. Fortunately, the ship survived, but the terrorist group has now made its intentions to kill U.S. servicemembers plain. The U.S. responded with a third strike against Yemeni targets on Tuesday. Meanwhile, on Thursday U.S. Navy SEALs captured a small boat that was smuggling missile parts from Iran to Yemen. Two men went missing during that mission, possibly drowned.

In light of these tense and dangerous developments in the Middle East, why would President Biden listen to the opinions of a fringe element that embraces anti-Semitism, alienates the public, and obviously hates America? Perhaps it’s because he needs their votes in November. Biden’s approval rating sank to an all-time low of 33%, while 58% disapprove in a recent ABC News/IPSOS poll. Biden now has the lowest approval rating of any president since George W. Bush in 2006-2008. So, the radical Left can continue their pro-terrorism protests, rattling Biden’s cage in the most literal sense, and expect no consequences.

‘I Would Love It’: Judge Threatens To Kick Trump Out Of Court In E. Jean Carroll Trial

Judge Lewis Kaplan threatened to remove former President Donald Trump from a New York courtroom Wednesday if he continued to be “disruptive” during the E. Jean Carroll defamation trial, according to CNN.

Shawn Crowley, Carrol’s lawyer, complained to Kaplan that Trump could be heard saying, “it is a witch hunt,” and, “it really is a con job” in the courtroom during testimony, according to CNN. Kaplan told Crowley that while Trump had the “right” to be at the trial, he would remove him if he continued to be disruptive.

“Mr. Trump has the right to be present here,” Kaplan said before directing his comments to Trump. “That right can be forfeited and it can be forfeited if he is disruptive, which what has been reported to me consists of. And if he disregards court orders, Mr. Trump, I hope I don’t have to consider excluding you from the trial.”

Trump threw up his hands at the judge’s comment, according to CNN, and Kaplan replied by saying, “I understand you’re probably eager for me to do that.”

“I would love it,” Trump reportedly replied.

“I know you would,” Kaplan said, according to CNN, before the court was dismissed for lunch. “You just can’t control yourself in this circumstance apparently.”

Earlier this month, Kaplan denied Trump’s legal team from presenting any arguments involving Carroll’s rape claims for the defamation trial, saying the the results of that previous trial “has nothing to do with injury inflicted on her by the defamatory statements.”

House Committee Concludes Mayorkas Investigation, Schedules Impeachment Hearings

Late last month, the House Homeland Security Committee released its fifth and final interim report in its five-phase investigation into Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. The final installment focuses on Secretary Mayorkas’ misuse of taxpayer funds throughout the border crisis. Building on evidence compiled in the investigation, the Committee is set to begin impeachment hearings against Mayorkas this week.

Chairman Mark Green (R-Tenn.) officially moved to begin the process last week.  In a statement, Green said that, “For almost three years, the American people have demanded an end to the unprecedented crisis at the Southwest border, and they have also rightly called for Congress to hold accountable those responsible…Our investigation made clear that this crisis finds its foundation in Secretary Mayorkas’ decision-making and refusal to enforce the laws passed by Congress, and that his failure to fulfill his oath of office demands accountability.” Impeachment proceedings will begin this Wednesday, January 10, in a hearing entitled, “Havoc in the Heartland: How Secretary Mayorkas’ Failed Leadership has Impacted the States.”

The Committee’s final report helps round out the congressional record for the impeachment hearings. The report hones in on Mayorkas’ “failure to detain illegal aliens and use Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention resources in accordance with their intended purpose, and the Biden administration’s decision to halt construction of the border wall system that had already been bought and paid for by taxpayers—a move Secretary Mayorkas has publicly stated he stood behind.”

One of the main examples highlighted by the Committee was the border wall.  At the start of the Biden Administration, around $1.9 billion of funds congressionally appropriated to DHS were designated for border wall construction, and $5 billion of Department of Defense (DOD) funds, remained unused. Biden, however, immediately moved to suspend construction and Mayorkas has led efforts to block border wall construction, costing taxpayers roughly $2 billion in broken contracts and allowing millions of illegal aliens into the country. Although the Biden Administration quietly directed the construction of 20 miles of border wall in the Rio Grande Valley this June, it has consistently stood by its anti-wall messaging, doing the bare minimum needed to skirt the law.

In addition, under Mayorkas’ watch, detention beds have gone empty as the Biden Administration implemented a mass catch-and-release policy.  Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 set a record with over 3.2 million illegal aliens encountered at our nation’s borders. However, DHS only requested 25,000 detention beds in its FY24 budget, a sharp decrease from the 45,000 in FY19. Instead, states are being forced to expend additional taxpayer dollars towards sheltering aliens as Mayorkas releases them into the country. According to the report, costs to house aliens in hotels and shelters are significantly higher than simply utilizing ICE facilities. In New York, the cost per day in family shelters is around $339, while those for single adults cost $184. By comparison, an ICE detention bed costs $142.44 or less.

As previously detailed by FAIR, Mayorkas has set a series of records that no one should be proud of, leading to record profits for drug traffickers and human smugglers. In just three years, more than 8 million illegal aliens have been apprehended at our borders, and at least another 1.7 million “gotaways” have evaded Border Patrol. Likewise, FY23 saw nearly 30,000 pounds of fentanyl seized at the border and 172 illegal aliens on the FBI’s terrorist watchlist attempting to cross the borders illegally. The daily and monthly apprehension records were also both broken multiple times in the last year, with more than 341,000 aliens apprehended in September and more than 12,600 apprehended on a single day in December. Speaking at a press conference in Eagle Pass, Texas, last Wednesday, Chairman Mark Green called Mayorkas the “greatest domestic threat to the national security and the safety of the American people.”

The details gathered throughout the five-phase investigation combined with record apprehension numbers and drug seizures all point to Mayorkas’ dereliction of duty. The Secretary’s tenure has been characterized by one failure after another, as he continues to disregard the law and put American lives in jeopardy. The American people, and enforcement of our immigration laws, have become an afterthought with Mayorkas at the helm. When the Committee moves into impeachment proceedings this week, they’ll have more than enough evidence to clearly show the Secretary’s role in undermining the rule of law and facilitating the border crisis.

VIDEO: Illegal Immigrant Released Into U.S. Thanks Biden, Says He Fears Trump

A Venezuelan man recently released into the country thanked President Joe Biden and expressed fear over a possible Donald Trump presidency in a statement to the Daily Caller News Foundation at the Houston airport.

The immigrant, who said that he crossed the southern border into the U.S. illegally, thanked Biden as he waited with a group of migrants  from Venezuela and Guinea in the airport. Border Patrol has recorded record illegal immigration at the southern border under the Biden administration, with more than 2.2 million encounters in fiscal year 2022 and more than 2 million encounters in fiscal year 2023, according to Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

”Honestly, thank you for this opportunity … without your help we wouldn’t be here so that means a lot, that means a lot for me and that means a lot for all of us. I have many friends who crossed the border and they’re grateful [now that they have] a good financial situation. They help their family from Venezuela as well, they try to bring them and I think that’s awesome,”  the migrant, who withheld his name and said he lost his passport and used his paperwork from Border Patrol to travel, told the DCNF.

He also said he feared deportation if Trump wins the 2024 presidential election. Trump took home a win at the Iowa caucus on Monday night and promised the largest deportation “since Dwight Eisenhower” in his victory speech.

The Biden administration announced in October the start of deportation flights to Venezuela to address the surge.

Fiscal year 2024 has already seen a record month in December with more than 300,000 migrant encounters, according to Fox News, which cited internal government sources.

The Venezuelan migrant said he crossed into Eagle Pass, Texas, days before where the state and federal authorities have recently been feuding over border enforcement powers. The Texas Department of Public Safety seized control of city property in Eagle Pass in early January.

The migrant joins a backlog of roughly 3 million cases in the immigration court systems, as previously reported by Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC). He said he’s confident his case will be accepted.

”I will stay here in Houston and I’ll go to my brother’s house and hopefully get a job and help my family,” he said.

“I want to work here,” he said, adding “I asked for asylum and they gave me one year so I have to fight for my case.”

Department Of Justice Acknowledges Hunter Biden Laptop Content Is Legitimate For First Time

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has acknowledged the legitimacy of Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop data for the first time in a new court filing.

In a Tuesday court filing from DOJ prosecutors, which came in response to Biden’s request to have his federal firearm charges dismissed, investigators acknowledge the legitimacy of data found on Biden’s laptop prior to the 2020 election. The court filings described how IRS and FBI investigators had obtained a search warrant for tax violations on Biden, leading them to “various” backup data accounts.

The documents additionally note that investigators later came into “possession” of the laptop that Biden had previously “left at a computer store,” emphasizing that investigators had “already obtained” a large portion of the data from Apple.

“In August 2019, IRS and FBI investigators obtained a search warrant for tax violations for the defendant’s Apple iCloud account. In response to that warrant, in September 2019, Apple produced backups of data from various of the defendant’s electronic devices that he had backed up to his iCloud account,” the court documents stated.

“Investigators also later came into possession of the defendant’s Apple MacBook Pro, which he had left at a computer store. A search warrant was also obtained for his laptop and the results of the search were largely duplicative of information investigators had already obtained from Apple.”

Following the initial report on Biden’s laptop from the New York Post, backlash from Democratic officials, various media outlets and social media platforms ensued. Democratic operatives and their allies attempted to cast the findings from the laptop as “Russian disinformation” and alleged that reporting on it was a form of pro-Trump election interference.

A letter was soon released by 51 former intelligence officials who falsely claimed that the content on Biden’s laptop was a “Russian information operation.”

The “Russian disinformation” narrative pushed by officials then led to both Facebook and Twitter censoring the NY Post’s reporting, with sites like Politico claiming the story was false by using the former intel officials’ letter. President Joe Biden called the laptop contents “Russia disinformation” during his 2020 campaign, also using the intelligence officials’ letter as support.

However, while the rumors of Russia interference circled, the FBI reportedly knew that the contents within Biden’s laptop were real due to an interview with Biden’s former business associate, Tony Bobulinski. The  agency had previously interviewed Bobulinski on Oct. 23, 2020, after the report broke, in which he confirmed the authenticity of the laptop’s contents, noting that he had additional records on multiple cell phones.

The DOJ and FBI have since shied away from Biden’s laptop contents, with IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley confirming the authenticity of the laptop during testimony to Congress in June 2023, according to the New York Post.

The new filings come as a response to Biden’s investigation for gun charges which his legal team attempted to argue in December should be dismissed. Biden was indicted in September of 2023 on three federal gun charges after he had allegedly illegally purchased a revolver as he was battling a drug addiction.

While Hunter Biden pleaded not guilty to the charges in October of 2023, he could potentially face up to 25 years in prison.

Federal Judges Slam Colleagues For Not Considering Trump’s ‘Executive Privilege’ In Twitter Search Warrant

Four judges on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals rebuked their colleagues Tuesday for rubber-stamping special counsel Jack Smith’s request to search former President Donald Trump’s Twitter account.

Smith obtained a search warrant in January 2023 granting him access to a wide range of data from Trump’s Twitter account, such as draft tweets and direct messages, along with a nondisclosure order barring Twitter from informing the former president. The full D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals declined Tuesday to rehear en banc Twitter’s appeal of a panel decision upholding the nondisclosure order, which Judge Naomi Rao, a Trump appointee, wrote in a statement Tuesday joined by three other judges that the court “should not have endorsed.”

“The Special Counsel’s approach obscured and bypassed any assertion of executive privilege and dodged the careful balance Congress struck in the Presidential Records Act,” Rao wrote. “The district court and this court permitted this arrangement without any consideration of the consequential executive privilege issues raised by this unprecedented search.”

Judges Karen Henderson, a George H. W. Bush appointee, along with Trump-appointed Judges Gregory Katsas and Justin Walker joined Rao’s statement.

“The district court afforded no opportunity for the former President to invoke executive privilege before disclosure, and this court made no mention of the privilege concerns entangled in a third-party search of a President’s social media account,” Rao wrote. “This approach directly contravenes the principles and procedures long used to adjudicate claims of executive privilege.”

District Court Judge Beryl Howell first approved the warrant in a decision a three-judge panel of the D.C. Circuit, which included Obama-appointed Judge Cornelia Pillard and Biden-appointed Judges Michelle Childs and Florence Pan, later affirmed on appeal.

What About The October 7 Pro-Hamas Insurrectionists?

On Sunday, I reported the massive pro-terrorist rally in DC was a real insurrection.

Here Victor Davis Hanson elaborates:

What About The October 7 pro-Hamas Insurrectionists?

Victor Davis Hanson

The pro-Hamas, anti-Israeli, and anti-Semitic protests grow stronger, more frequent, and more surreal each week.

Now demonstrators in New York are condemning the U.S. for protecting global transport in the sea-lanes of the Red Sea. In other words, they sympathize with the terrorist Houthis of Yemen who have been currently preemptively trying to kill Americans.

Now there are promises from federal workers to strike soon on behalf of Hamas’s demands for a ceasefire. Is their insurrectionary aim to shut down the federal government?

So is there any outrageous act that the pro-Hamas throng will not consider?

Defacing the national cemetery of American war dead in Los Angeles? Defiling the Lincoln Memorial? Disrupting Christmas services in New York? Shutting down major freeways? Causing commute traffic to halt on the Manhattan and Golden Gate Bridges? Cornering and confronting Jewish students on campus? Chanting for the destruction of Israel and the Jewish people?

In her early response to questions about the growing anti-Semitism, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre infamously snarked, “We have not seen any credible threats, I know there’s always questions about credible threats, and so I just want to make sure that’s out there. But look, Muslim and those perceived to be Muslim have endured a disproportionate number of hate-fueled attacks, and certainly President Biden understands that many of our Muslim, Arab, Arab-American and Palestinian-American loved ones and neighbors are worried about the hate being directed at their communities.”

What message did that send to the pro-Hamas mobs, even when she later claimed she “misheard” the question?

Joe Biden has been absolutely quiet about the expanding anti-Israel/anti-Jewish protests, even when they have become violent. Instead, he becomes briefly animated not by pro-Hamas, anti-American violence, but only by the “semi-fascist” and “ultra-MAGA” nearly half of the country who voted against him in 2020.

So he, talks endlessly of the January 6th “insurrection”, a protest that for a few hundred descended into a buffoonish riot, but nothing comparable, for example, in terms of deaths, destruction, looting, and attacks on an iconic federal courthouse, police precinct, historic church, or the White House grounds to the 120 days of rioting of summer 2020.

Of those violent days, Kamala Harris bragged they would not cease even as she rooted on the “protests”. (“But they’re not gonna stop. They’re not gonna stop, and this is a movement, I’m telling you. They’re not gonna stop, and everyone beware, because they’re not gonna stop… they’re not going to let up — and they should not. And we should not.”)

In his recent Phantom of the Opera 2.0 Ultra-Maga harangue at Valley Forge, Joe Biden seemed also to praise the BLM/Antifa glory days of 2020 as “the historic movement for justice in the summer of 2020”.

More recently, pro-Hamas protestors have trumped January 6th by both the duration and intensity of their increasingly violent demonstrations. As for an “insurrection”, pro-Hamas protestors stormed the Capitol rotunda, in aims to disrupt Congress. Will they face years of imprisonment for “illegal parading” and imperiling congressional business?

In California, the first day of the legislature was cancelled after pro-Hamas demonstrators took over the chambers and prevented the proceedings to continue. Insurrectionary?

We can expect four themes in 2024: 1) Biden will step up pressure on Israel to pull out of Gaza and to refrain from going after terrorist leaders; 2) there will be a lot more, and increasingly more violent, pro-Hamas, anti-Israel, and anti-Semitic protests; 3) the 2024 election-mode White House will respond by ignoring anti-Jewish protests and exaggerating rare anti-Islamic incidents; and 4) it will continue to beat the dead January 6 horse, even as it increasingly canonizes the street and downtown take-over violence of 2020.

Common denominator to the madness?

At home, Biden is worried about even small defections in Michigan, Virginia, and Pennsylvania of traditionally Arab-American Democrat constituencies, and he is increasingly terrified of larger apostasies among black voters. In contrast, he feel that Jewish voters will either not really defect or their numbers are concentrated in mostly blue, taken-for-granted states like New York and California.

Abroad, an appeasing Biden is terrified that his laxity and erosion of U.S. deterrence prompted Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis to act—and that they will further become emboldened to the point of waging multifront attacks later in the year‚ right around election time.

Pro-ISIS Posters Incite Attacks On New York City: ‘Go Get Them, Oh Monotheist

MEMRI, January 11, 2024:

The following report is now a complimentary offering from MEMRI’s Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor (JTTM). For JTTM subscription information, click here.

On January 11, 2024, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) media outlet released two posters inciting attacks in New York City. The posters came as part of a global attack campaign called, “And Kill Them Wherever You Find Them,” announced on January 4 by the ISIS spokesman. In an audio message uploaded online, he declared support for the Muslims of Gaza and urged ISIS operatives and supporters to launch attacks globally, including lone wolf attacks, in the West.

“Identify The Target, Trust In Allah, And Execute”

Titled “And Kill Them Wherever You Find Them,” the first poster depicts an armed man, three bullets, and a sketch of a building. A stamp on the poster reads: “NEW YORK N.Y. JUN16 7-PM 1937.” Adjacent to the stamp, an entry ticket reads: “AROUND THE WORLD.”

Text on the poster also encourages potential attackers: “Identify the target, trust in Allah, and execute [the attack],” it reads.

“Go Get Them, Oh Monotheist”

The second poster depicts the New York City skyline in flames, and an armed man brandishing a weapon alongside text inciting an attack, which reads: “Go get them, oh monotheist.”

The poster also features an excerpt from the spokesman’s January 4 audio address, which calls on ISIS operatives and supporters to avenge Muslims by carrying out attacks on “Jews, Christians, or their allies on the streets and roads of America, Europe, and the world.”

The text reads: “Lions of Islam: Chase your prey whether Jews, Christians, or their allies, on the streets and roads of America, Europe, and the world. Break into their homes, kill them and steal their peace of mind by any means you can lay hands on. Understand that you are the arm of the Islamic State hitting in the unbelievers’ homelands, and are avenging the Muslims in Palestine, Iraq, Syria, and other Muslim countries. Solidify your plans and diversify the attacks: detonate explosives, burn them with grenades and fiery agents, shoot them with bullets, cut their throats with sharp knives, and run them over with vehicles. A sincere person will not lack the means to draw blood from the hearts of the Jews, the Christians, and their allies, and thus ease the suffering in the hearts of the believers.”

Why Do The U.S. And Israel Tolerate Qatar’s Blatant Anti-U.S. And Anti-Israel Policies?

Qatar | MEMRI Daily Brief No. 563

Introduction

Two developments with dangerous and even explosive repercussions for the standing and interests of both the U.S. and Israel in the Middle East occurred in the last few days.

1. The U.S. has extended its presence at Qatar’s Al-Udeid airbase – CENTCOM’s main airbase in the region – for another 10 years[1]In recent weeks, there has been criticism of Qatar for its sponsoring of terrorism, causing President Biden and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to maintain ambiguity about the future of the U.S.-Qatar alliance. This follows years of frequent undeserved U.S. praise for Qatar.

The Qataris, realizing that their very existence is threatened if the U.S. relocates its CENTCOM operations to the UAE or Saudi Arabia, hastened to nail down the U.S. for another decade in Qatar. This happened despite Qatar’s support of both Sunni and Shi’ite terrorist organizations worldwide, and despite its open alliance with Iran, including joint Qatari naval training with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC).[2] And the fact that it is standing with the Houthis, with whom the U.S. is currently engaged in military conflict to ensure free passage of shipping in the Red Sea.

Without CENTCOM in Qatar, the ruling family will be unable to continue ruling Qatar. Yet it seems like the U.S.  did not demand that Qatar reverse its policies of sponsoring terrorism – let alone demand the release of American hostages held by its proxy Hamas in Gaza, after it killed 32 U.S. nationals on October 7. How can this inconceivable approach on the part of the Americans be explained?

2. Israel is allowing Qatar to take charge of all the humanitarian support entering the Gaza Strip, where it is hijacked by Hamas gunmen as soon as it crosses the border. In fact, Qatar is keeping Hamas fighters in power, enabling them to kill Israeli soldiers every day. This is being done with the total consent of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who had, over the past decade, allowed Qatar to build Hamas’s military power in the first place. Netanyahu is now actually allowing an ongoing process, by which his soldiers are being killed every day because he is a captive and hostage of Qatar, as well as its collaborator, and does not dare confront it lest it expose him. One solution to freeing the aid from Qatar’s pro-Hamas influence would be by giving the money to Egypt and Jordan, who have peace agreements with Israel, so that they could fully control the humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, with no Qatari strings attached.

These approaches on the part of the U.S. and Israel are also prompting the natural allies of both, such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE, to distance themselves from them and to join anti-U.S. alliances such as BRICS. How can these two mindboggling phenomena be explained?

This report will attempt to answer these questions.

Dr. Jekyll Qatar

Qatar presents itself as a Western-oriented regime engaged in primarily economic enterprises in the West, helping in peace mediation and conflict resolution worldwide, and as a seemingly Western ally hosting the largest U.S. military base in the Middle East, from which U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) protects American interests in the region. It initiated the opening of branches of American universities in Doha, and hosted the World Cup. It donates massively to American universities, supports cultural centers in Europe, and uses its media outlet in the West, Al-Jazeera TV in English – which is completely different from its Arabic-language channel – to present a positive picture of the Qatari regime to the West.

It also engages in criminal activity with politicians in Europe and the U.S. – for example, the “Qatargate” scandal, in which, in December 2022, the European parliament stripped Greek MEP Eva Kaili of her position as vice president of the assembly over accusations she accepted bribes from Qatar. In the course of the investigation, Belgian authorities found “bags of cash” in her home.[3] Also, earlier this month Sen. Bob Menendez, former Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman, was federally indicted for allegations that he took bribes in exchange for an agreement to help the government of Qatar.[4] [5] (Qatar has also spied on U.S. politicians, as will be revealed very soon.)

Indeed, Qatar assisted in the efforts to secure deals for the release of some of the hostages in exchange for the release of terrorists held in Israeli prisons and for a pause in the fighting and provision of humanitarian aid to Gaza. In a more recent mediation efforts, Qatar was instrumental in bringing in medicine to the hostages, as well as to Hamas members.

(Both these deals, however, were minimal in scope, and benefited Hamas no less than Israel.)

Mr. Hyde Qatar

In the Arab and Muslim world, every person on the street is well aware of Qatar’s Mr. Hyde face: that Qatar is the mega-promoter of Islamism and terrorism worldwide. The top political, military, and intelligence echelons in the West, however, turn a blind eye to this.[6]

Qatar’s activities in the Arab and Muslim world are motivated by the extremist Wahhabi ideology.[7] This can be seen in a discussion between the former Qatari Emir and the late Libyan ruler Mu’ammar Al-Qadhafi, in which the Emir boasted that he himself is an heir and grandchild of Muhammad Ibn Abd Al-Wahhab (see  MEMRI TV clip Late Emir Of Qatar Hamad Bin Khalifa Says Imam Muhammad Ibn Abd Al-Wahhab Was His Forefather, In Recorded Conversation With Libyan Dictator Mu’ammar Al-Qadhafi.)

It is also noteworthy that the largest mosque in Doha is named for Muhammad Ibn Abd Al-Wahhab.[8]

The Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab mosque in Doha (Source: Al-sharq.com, August 4, 2022).

The pillar of Islamist Wahhabism in Qatar was the former minister of religious endowment Abdullah bin Khalid Aal Thani, who later became minister of interior affairs – the second most important position after the Emir. It was Abdullah bin Khalid Aal Thani who brought Khaled Sheikh Mohammad (KSM), the future mastermind of 9/11, from jihadi missions in Bosnia to Qatar and gave him money and logistical support to organize terrorist attacks against American and other targets. It was Abdullah bin Khaled Aal Thani who was behind the coup carried out by Hamad bin Khalifa Aal Thani, father of the present Emir, against his own father, Khalifa bin Hamad Aal Thani.

For two decades now, Qatar has supported all Islamist terrorist organizations, both Sunni and Shi’ite, as well as Islamist movements, primarily the Muslim Brotherhood.

The terrorist organizations supported by Qatar include Hamas, the Taliban, ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham, the Al-Nusra Front, Hizbullah, and even the Houthis, with whom the U.S. is currently engaged in a battle in the Red Sea.[9]

With regard to Al-Qaeda, it was Qatar who, in 1995, gave safe haven to KSM. Furthermore, when the FBI came to arrest him, informing only the Emir, KSM disappeared within hours.[10] Other Al-Qaeda attacks on American targets include the failed “Bojinka” plot to bomb 11 U.S. commercial planes, the attacks on the U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, and the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center.[11]

The murder of U.S. Ambassador to Libya John Christopher Stevens in September 2012 in Benghazi was perpetrated by the Qatar-supported Al-Qaeda affiliate Ansar Al-Sharia. Another case of Qatari support for terrorism was the plot to assassinate Pope John Paul II in Manila in 1995; however, a fire broke out in the apartment a week before the assassination was to take place and the plot was discovered.[12] KSM, who orchestrated this attack, fled back to Qatar.

With regard to Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham and the Al-Nusra Front, individuals linked to both are on trial in Europe and the U.S. on charges of belonging to these Qatar-supported terror organizations.

In addition to terrorist organizations, Qatar supports Islamist movements, with the goal of toppling secular authoritarian regimes and bringing Islamists to power. Examples include Egypt, where it succeeded in temporarily toppling the secular regime of Hosni Mubarak and bringing the Muslim Brotherhood to power.

In Syria too, Qatar supported the Islamist terrorist organizations in order to bring down the secular authoritarian regime of Bashar Al-Assad, and even financed a Druze revolt against Assad.[13]

In Libya, Qatar sided with the Islamists in Tripoli against the secular authoritarian Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar in Benghazi, even sending operatives from Hamas’s military wing, the Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, to support the Islamists.[14]

In Afghanistan, it nurtured the Taliban for years, culminating in the violent takeover of the regime from secular president Ashraf Ghani in August 2021, with 13 U.S. troop fatalities.

Qatar even supports the Islamist movement in northern Mali,[15] and in South Africa, former president Thabo Mbeki received Qatari support. He was part of the African Union effort to mediate in Sudan, and he sided with then-Muslim Brotherhood president of Sudan, Omar Al-Bashir.[16]

In Tunisia, Qatar supports the Muslim Brotherhood Ennahda party leader Rached Ghannouchi against secular authoritarian president Kais Saied.

The CENTCOM Base: Why Is It In Qatar? What Has The U.S. To Gain By Keeping It There?  What Has The U.S. To Lose If It Is Relocated To The UAE Or Saudi Arabia?

Qatar granted the U.S. the Al Udeid airbase in order to guarantee the survival of the Qatari ruling family. However, the Qatari regime does not reciprocate by endorsing anti-terrorism and anti-Iran policies. The U.S., in fact, has apparently not even made such a demand – or, if it did, it was ignored.

Could there be an alternative to the CENTCOM base in Doha? Yes. Both the UAE and Saudi Arabia offered to host it, but the U.S. declined both offers.

American support for Qatar’s regime is so strong that in 2017, when Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, and Egypt announced a complete boycott of Qatar with the goal of toppling its terrorist-sponsoring regime, the U.S. saved the Aal Thani family.

Why does the U.S. hold Qatar’s interests so dear? Strategic explanations do not suffice to answer this question; it can only be surmised that other interests may be in play.

Would the activities of the CENTCOM base be restricted in any way if the U.S. were to pressure Qatar to endorse anti-terrorist policies?

The answer is no. Even if CENTCOM remains in Qatar, and the U.S. pressures Qatar to embrace, against its will, a policy of anti-terrorism, the base is totally independent, and its activities would not be impacted in any way.

Why Does The Israeli Government Continue Its Years-Long Alliance With Qatar – A Terrorism-Sponsoring State And An Absolute Enemy That Built Hamas’s Entire Military Power?

Israel, unlike the U.S., does not have even a shred of ostensible justification for its alliance with Qatar and through it, with Hamas. Israeli law prohibits any citizen from maintaining ties with a terrorist organization or its sponsors. Obviously, the prime minister is not exempt; he cannot simply make doing so into policy without proper legislation. Thus, by allowing – and even facilitating – the transfer of billions of dollars from Qatar to the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Netanyahu was breaking the law.[17]

His claim that he allowed the transfer of Qatari money over the past decade in order to prevent a “humanitarian disaster” in Gaza is patently false. Prior to October 7, Gaza was in no “humanitarian disaster” – on the contrary, it was a mini-Dubai.[18]

Netanyahu blocked a move to shut down the activity of Al-Jazeera – the Qatari megaphone for Hamas, and before that, for bin Laden and Saddam Hussein – in Israel, because of the direct role the channel plays in aiding Hamas activities in the war. This was despite the fact that all Israeli security agencies recommended shutting it down, and the judicial advisor to the Israeli government had agreed to this as well.[19]

So why does Netanyahu continue to accept Qatar’s anti-Israeli policies? The answer to this question is that Netanyahu does not dare to confront Qatar lest he be exposed for 10 years of collaboration with the Qatari regime and Hamas. He is, in effect, a captive, held hostage by Qatar, and thus has become a collaborator.[20]

How Can The American And Other Hostages Held In Gaza Be Saved?

The surest and fastest way to bring about the release of American and Israeli hostages held in Gaza is by massively pressuring Qatar, the way Israel is acting against Iran, rather than appealing to it. Once Qatar realizes that its own existence is at stake, it will exert maximum pressure on Hamas to release the hostages.

Indeed, the U.S. is likely to oppose the move of pressuring Qatar – even though it would bring about the release of its own citizens – but this is an existential issue for Israel, and in such matters Israel need not always follow American recommendations. This is not even mentioning the fact that Qatar is betraying the U.S. by not assuring the release of American hostages.

For Hamas, Qatar is its lifeline. It is the hope, the future, and the continuation of the fight to eradicate Israel and to kill all the Jews, as set out in its charter.[21] Once Hamas realizes that Qatar can no longer assist it, it will have no choice but to comply with Qatar’s demands. Hamas has no friends or allies in the Arab and Muslim world, with the exception of Iran and its proxies.

Is There A “Way Out” And A “Day After”? – Yes

In the current situation, Israel is basically defeated. Why? Because when Israel scales down its activity in the Gaza Strip, Hamas will resurge, and the situation will be back to square one. Hamas is already returning to the northern Gaza Strip – and as things stand, when Israel withdraws, it will return in force.

Even if Israel accepts the American requests to end the war, Hamas will not end its war, and will continue to fire missiles into Israel, and Israel will have to respond. That is the real future scenario. Moreover, once Israel withdraws completely from the Gaza Strip, and Hamas feels, perhaps justifiably, that it has won, all the anti-U.S. elements in the Middle East will launch efforts to expel the Americans from everywhere in the region.

That is why a unilateral Israeli ceasefire will lead to neither a “way out” nor to a “day after.” That is why all the indications that President Biden is “running out of patience” with Israel[22] and pressuring it to stop will solve nothing, because Hamas (supported by Qatar and Iran) will not stop.[23] It may even extensively use weapons such as, advanced shoulder-mounted anti-aircraft missiles smuggled into Gaza via Rafah, which is not under Israel’s control.

So Where Is The “Way Out” And What Is The “Day After”?

There is only one sure way to end the war with the defeat of Hamas, the freeing of the hostages, an end to the calamity of the Palestinian refugees in Gaza, the return of the Israeli refugees to their devastated homes in the Gaza border area where they cannot now live because of the lack of security, and the possibility of envisioning a Palestinian-Israeli peace. All these goals can be achieved only by removing Qatar from the picture, one way or another, and by preventing the Aal Thani family from wreaking havoc in the Arab and Muslim world, as well as in the West. This is also vital in order to prevent the war from expanding across the region.

[5] In January 2019, Reuters uncovered information about Project Raven, a wide-ranging cyber offensive operation carried out by former NSA agents on behalf of the UAE. They gathered huge amounts of documents concerning several targets, including activists, journalists, and foreign government entities in a few countries, such as Turkey, France, Yemen, Iran, Qatar, Lebanon, and Israel. The leaked documents revealed extensive political interference by Qatar in the affairs in the Arab and Muslim world, with the goal of toppling secular regimes (as in Libya and Mali),[1] as well as strengthening Islamist terrorist organizations and movements. The documents also reveal the interference of Qatar in the affairs of other countries, such as France, South Africa, Lebanon, and Israel, by means of significant grants to government elements, political activists, human rights organizations, and sports figures. Among other things, it uncovered the extent of the Qatari system of payments to politicians and influential public figures from different countries. Among the many figures revealed in these documents were some about whom documents were leaked to media. These were: Nicolas Sarkozy, Carla Bruni, Thabo Mbeki, Human Rights Watch, Bernard-Henri Lévy, Walid Jumblatt, Michel Francois Platini, Lamine Diack, and Islamist militias in northern Mali, as well as Israeli political figures. [6] Indeed, a few days ago, the U.S. State Department announced its Rewards for Justice Program’s “Reward Offer for Information on Hamas Financial Networks.” This announcement seems to be a joke because the biggest funder of Hamas is the Qatari regime itself. [19] Additionally, in the U.S., for several years, Qatar has ignored a Department of Justice order for Al-Jazeera to register as a foreign agent in accordance with the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). [20] Leaked correspondence in the ruling Qatari family, classified as secret, allegedly indicates that the Qatari regime intended to grant Netanyahu tens of millions of dollars in cash “to support the Likud’s election campaign.” See MEMRI Inquiry & Analysis Series No. 1734, ‘Project Raven’ – The Origin Of The Qatari Government Letters Leak, December 22, 2023. While the leaked documents do not indicate whether the money was in fact transferred to Netanyahu or influenced his policy, there is no question regarding the billions of dollars that were funneled from Qatar to Hamas-ruled Gaza, with Netanyahu’s consent and facilitation.

[23] Additionally, smuggling via the Philadelphi Corridor will continue, and the day is not far off when Israel’s air force superiority will be overcome by the use of advanced shoulder-mounted anti-aircraft missiles smuggled into Gaza via Rafah, which is not under Israel’s control.

Blaming the Jews: An International Pastime

Ironically, Hamas’s gruesome attack on Israeli civilians on October 7th, instead of unleashing a flood of criticism of jihadist Muslims, has turned up the fire under the apparently ever-simmering cauldron of anti-Semitism.

Everyone seems focused on the Jews—even obsessed with them. But the loudest voices are those raised in condemnation of the Israelis, their supporters, and worldwide Jewry.

There are a number of tropes that Jew haters dredge up on such occasions: the debunked but widely disseminated Russian psy-op pamphlet The Protocols of the Elders of Zion; the Jews as Christ-killers; the popular trope that the Jews “own the banks;” claims they’re out to control the world as “Greater Israel;” claims they’re Satanists; and the old blood libel, that they make Passover matzahs from the blood of gentile children.

THE KHAZARIAN MAFIA HOAX

But I’d be remiss if I left out one of the more recent libels: that of the Khazarian Mafia—which turns out to be a clever remix of “the Jews own the banks,” “the Jews are out to control the world” and “the Jews are evil Satanists,” rolled into one.

This bizarre theory claims that 90% of the world’s Jewry, the Ashkenazi Jews, are not really Jews at all, but “Khazars” from some ancient kingdom whose people were supposedly forced to convert to Judaism—although throughout history it was the Jews who were forced to convert to other religions.

The evil genius of the Khazar myth is that its proponents get to have their cake and eat it too: They can claim they aren’t anti-Semites, as they don’t hate Jews, only the “fake Jews,” i.e. the Khazars—which frees them to dredge up all the old libels against the Jews and simply attribute them to the “Khazars”.

A couple of problems with that, other than the obvious chicanery: DNA studies have shown there’s generally at least an 80% match between Sephardic and Ashkenazi Jews; there’s no cultural or linguist trace of Khazardom among European Jewry; and no sign of Turkic language, songs, or traditions.

A study by Dr. Harry Ostrer and co-author Martin Richards from 2013

came to this conclusion after examining mitochondrial DNA of Ashkenazi Jews:

Virtually none came from the North Caucasus, located along the border between Europe and Asia between the Black and Caspian seas.

The finding should thoroughly debunk one of the most questionable, but still tenacious, hypotheses: that most Ashkenazi Jews can trace their roots to the mysterious Khazar Kingdom that flourished during the ninth century in the region between the Byzantine Empire and the Persian Empire.

An Amazon reviewer of John Entine’s book Abraham’s Children: Race, Identity, and the DNA of the Chosen People, writes, “DNA analysis has served to put to rest the crackpot theory that Ashkenazic Jews were all descended from Khazarian converts, an idea especially popular with leftists according to the author.”

Surprisingly, even Wikipedia gets this one mostly right:

The Y chromosome of most Ashkenazi and Sephardi Jews contains mutations that are common among Middle Eastern peoples, but uncommon in the general European population, according to a study of haplotypes of the Y chromosome by Michael Hammer, Harry Ostrer and others, published in 2000.[29] According to Hammer et al. this suggests that the paternal lineages of Ashkenazi Jews could be traced mostly to the Middle East.

Hammer et al. add that “Diaspora Jews from Europe, Northwest Africa, and the Near East resemble each other more closely than they resemble their non-Jewish neighbors.”

And here’s the skivvy from Stanford Medicine’s Scope Magazine, excerpted from Bruce Goldman’s 2013 articleNew genetic study: More evidence for modern Ashkenazi Jews’ ancient Hebrew patrimony:

Plausible at the time, the Khazar-origin premise has crumbled under the onslaught of modern molecular genetics. The latest volley: a study published this week in Nature Communications. The study’s senior author, Stanford geneticist Peter Underhill, PhD, works in the lab of  Carlos Bustamante, PhD, whose high-resolution techniques have highlighted the historical hopscotch of other migratory peoples.

Underhill, Bustamante and their co-authors analyzed the Y chromosome – a piece of the human genome invariably handed down father-to-son – of a set of Ashkenazi men claiming descent from Levi,  the founder of one of the Twelve Tribes of Israel. (Names such as Levy, Levine and Levitt, for example, bespeak a Levite heritage.)

If Ashkenazis were the spawn of Khazar royals, their DNA would show it. But those Y chromosomes were as Levantine as a levant sandwich. The same genetic “signature” popped up on every Levite sampled (as well as a significant number of non-Levite Ashkenazis), strongly implying descent from a single common ancestor who lived in the Fertile Crescent between 1,500 and 2,500 years ago. That signature is absent in the Y chromosomes of modern European non-Jewish men, and in male inhabitants of what was once Khazaria.

It’s also telling that the only video I’d found online exposing the conspiratorial “Khazarian Mafia” psy-op has been censored, whereas there are numerous posts with titles like these: The Hidden History of the Incredibly Evil Khazarian Mafia, Khazarian Mafia’s Globalist NWO Agenda to Destroy Every Nation’s Sovereignty, A Brief History of the Rothschild Khazarian Mafia, etc.

As a side note: According to the Khazarian hoax, Hitler made a big mistake. Someone should have told him

that the 6 million Jews he exterminated were…wait for it…not really Jews!

Egyptian TV host Maged Abdallah, April 28, 2020 on Elsharq TV (Turkey-based Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood)

THE ACTUAL ROLE OF THE JEWS IN HISTORY

I’ll return to the “Christ-killer” charge shortly, but first let’s consider a few things one can reasonably blame the Jews for: one being Monotheism, another being the Bible—both the Old Testament and the New. Another being the moral code established in the Ten Commandments that has served as the cornerstone of Western Civilization.

Said another way, without those selfsame Jews so roundly denounced, hated, and not infrequently massacred throughout history, there would be no Bible, no Judaism, no Jesus, no Christianity, and no Western Civilization.

There’s a reason we have the phrase “the Judeo-Christian tradition.”  It’s the foundation of the West and all the first-world nations, including the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States.  Especially in America, we have the Jews and the Bible to thank for our experimental government based on what Thomas Jefferson inscribed in the Declaration of Independence as our God-given rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  And these rights are “endowed by their Creator”—i.e. God, as revealed in the Bible—not Gaia, not Buddha, and most emphatically, not Allah.

THE CHARGE AGAINST THE JEWS AS “CHRIST-KILLERS”

Returning to the “Christ-killers” accusation: In fact, it was the Romans—with their barbarously excruciating and deadly punishment of crucifixion—who killed Jesus.  But yes, the Sanhedrin, the Jewish leadership at that time, did seek it.  So let’s parse that.

First and foremost, the Sanhedrin didn’t speak for all the Jews.  We know this for a fact from the New Testament and other historical records of the time.  Christ’s Disciples were…wait for it…Jews!  And they clearly disagreed with the Sanhedrin’s charges against Christ.

So when anyone accuses “the Jews” of being “Christ killers”, he means the Jewish government/leadership of the day.

Let me ask you a question: How many of us in America today agree with all of our government’s decisions?  How many oppose much of what our government decrees?  So why isn’t the charge against the Jews in the First Century made factually: “The Jewish leadership condemned Jesus by charging him with blasphemy, and of claiming to be King of the Jews,” rather than “the Jews killed Christ”?

One of the charges the Sanhedrin brought against Jesus was that of working on Shabbat, after Jesus famously healed people on the Sabbath.  Instead of saying “My bad! You’re right! I won’t do it again,” Jesus pointed out that healing is a loving and compassionate act and not the sort of “work” that should be subjected to that law.  This made the leadership see red.  They themselves were caught up in the lawyerly minutiae of do’s and don’ts Rabbis had enumerated in regards to this law, which Jesus openly challenged.  Furthermore, they’d likely not dare to disobey the law, and certainly, had they done so, would never argue that they answered to a higher power than the written law, i.e. the Torah.

So one can understand their reluctance to believe that this young Rabbi was actually acting on a higher moral authority than theirs, and than that of the Torah itself.  He would have seemed quite an upstart to them, so one can comprehend their fears as they saw that he was attracting a following.

We can debate the Jewish leaders’ motive for wanting Jesus’ death—they may well have believed he was an impostor who was committing blasphemy; they may have worried that he’d overturn the Torah—the Jewish law recorded in the first five books of the Bible—the law they were responsible for upholding. They may have feared losing their own power and position. Their decision may have had elements of all the above, though it’s doubtful they truly believed Jesus was the Messiah, because we can assume they’d know better than to mess with God’s will.

But did they mess with it—or did they help to fulfill it, regardless of their own intentions?  Recall Joseph’s message to his brothers who’d sold him into slavery, “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good…”.

THE CHRISTIAN PARADOX

Speaking of God’s will, consider this: for the gift of salvation through belief in Christ to be offered, Jesus would have to first die as the ultimate Passover Lamb of God, taking on the sins of mankind while suffering on the Cross. Only then could he rise in a miraculous resurrection, defeating death itself in a prefiguring of salvation, and finally taking his place at the right hand of God in heaven.

What does this mean? It means that those who call the Jews “Christ-killers” are in effect blaming them for Jesus’ substitutionary death for sinners—i.e. human beings—as well as for his resurrection and offer of salvation to those who follow Him.

Put more simply: Christians and Jewish followers of Christ have the Jews to “blame” for their salvation!

Suppose the Sanhedrin leadership had said, “Free Jesus, and crucify the thief Barabbas instead!” What would have been the result? No sacrificial death of Jesus on the Cross means everyone carries his own sins on his back—the wages of sin being death. It means no salvation by grace through faith. It means no eternal life in heaven. Not to put too fine a point upon it, according to the New Testament, it means damnation.

In other words, from the Christian point of view, it was God’s plan all along that Jesus, the most famous Jewish Rabbi in history, suffer death on the Cross on Passover, as the Lamb of God who died for the sins of everyone else.

So before you “blame the Jews” for ancient and modern tropes that demonize the Lord’s chosen people, remember you’re simultaneously scourging them for their divinely appointed role of introducing God and the Bible to the world, fulfilling prophecy, and, as Christians and Messianic Jews believe, providing the world with the Messiah, whose birth we once again celebrated a mere three weeks ago.

FAA’s Diversity Push Focusing on Hiring People With ‘Severe Intellectual’ and ‘Psychiatric’ Disabilities

This is so dangerous and deadly. America’s elite have lost their minds.

FAA’s diversity push includes focus on hiring people with ‘severe intellectual’ and ‘psychiatric’ disabilities

By Emma Colton, Fox News, Jan. 14, 2024

The Federal Aviation Administration is actively recruiting workers who suffer “severe intellectual” disabilities, psychiatric problems and other mental and physical conditions under a diversity and inclusion hiring initiative spelled out on the agency’s website.

“Targeted disabilities are those disabilities that the Federal government, as a matter of policy, has identified for special emphasis in recruitment and hiring,” the FAA’s website states. “They include hearing, vision, missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability and dwarfism.”

The initiative is part of the FAA’s “Diversity and Inclusion” hiring plan, which claims “diversity is integral to achieving FAA’s mission of ensuring safe and efficient travel across our nation and beyond.”

The FAA’s website shows the agency’s guidelines on diversity hiring were last updated on March 23, 2022.

The FAA, which is overseen by Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s Department of Transportation, is a government agency charged with regulating civil aviation and employs roughly 45,000 people.

All eyes have been on the FAA and airline industry in recent days, after a plug door on a Boeing 737 Max 9 blew out during an Alaska Airlines flight on Jan. 5.

The FAA grounded all 737 MAX 9 planes after the incident, and is carrying out an “extensive inspection” and maintenance work.

The FAA added it would increase its oversight of Boeing following the incident, including auditing Boeing’s 737 Max 9 jetliner production line and companies that supply parts to the airline manufacturer.

Following the incident, social media commenters and public figures have charged that airlines and airline manufacturers’ emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives has made flying less safe.

“Do you want to fly in an airplane where they prioritized DEI hiring over your safety?,” tech billionaire Elon Musk wrote on X last week. “That is actually happening.”

“The DEI Rot In The Airline Industry Is Way Worse Than You Think,” Daily Wire commentator Matt Walsh wrote in an op-ed last week.

Why the Left Hates Martin Luther King

Leftists hate MLK because they care more about color of skin than content of character (Kendall Qualls)

“The Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) holiday ironically honors values despised by many on the left. King’s intellectual and moral challenge to judge people by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin, is in direct opposition to leftists’ narrative that judging people’s value begins with their skin color.

Keep in mind that many on the left never agreed with MLK’s nonviolent movement of protest in the 1960s. Stokely Carmichael, the originator of the black nationalist movement (Black Power) and the Black Panthers, once stated, “When you talk of Black power, you talk of building a movement that will smash everything Western civilization has created.” Many followers of this movement enrolled in colleges in the 1970s, earned doctoral degrees in African studies (or grievance studies), and now lead or have major influence in local, state, and federal agencies, academia, the arts, and media.

While the radicals were developing leadership roles, the majority of Americans accepted MLK’s vision of judging people by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin. Hence, many people would use the phrase, “I don’t see color” to confirm their buy-in of that vision. In fact, based on a Gallup poll, nearly 70 percent of Americans, black and white, rated race relations either good or very good back in 2002.”

Today’s Race Extremists Are Destroying Martin Luther King Jr.’s Legacy

Martin Luther King, Jr. would be shocked by the regression in America since he led the civil rights movement.

By: Scott Powell, The Federalist, January 15, 2024:l

Why do we celebrate a holiday honoring a man who was jailed 29 times and ultimately assassinated? What lessons can we learn from Martin Luther King, Jr. and from American society, much of which seems to have forgotten the contributions that led to bestowing on him a national holiday?

King, a powerful pastor and speaker, was both the catalyst for and the central figure in the civil rights movement that extended from 1955 to 1968. MLK’s sermons, speeches, and writings portray a man with an unusually discerning mind grounded in timeless truths. MLK was all about non-violent action to bring about racial and social healing through public debate and protest.

Hard to come to grips with today is how the power, healing, and truth of his message can be overshadowed by today’s divisive and demoralizing philosophies of critical race theory (CRT) and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). These divide rather than unite society. MLK stressed the importance of bringing people together through constructive dialogue and seeing all people as made in God’s image. In contrast, those who have recently claimed to hold the torch of civil rights, such as the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, generally do so through militant action, malicious language, and confrontation.

The extremist identity politics movement in the United States is largely the progeny of BLM, an organization founded by Patrisse Cullors and Alicia Garza, who self-identify as Marxists. For those who relate identity politics to progress, a gnawing question still haunts: What good ever came out of Marxism? While some newcomers might idealistically presuppose their cause is about a socialist utopia, Marxist rule in practice has a sad history of delivering poverty, corruption, and mass death across diverse cultures.

Were it possible to resurrect and transport King into the present, he would be shocked by the regression that has taken place in America in the three generations since he led the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s. He would reject the eclipse of the group, sexual, and ethnic identity paradigm over the individual merit and character-based approach for acceptance and advancement, whether in school admission or hiring and promotion in the workplace. King would condemn critical race theory because it perpetuates negative racial stereotypes against white people.

King recognized that the self-evident truth in the Declaration of Independence “that all men are created equal…with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness,” wasn’t realized in 1776, nor when the United Constitution was ratified some 14 years later. Nor was Abraham Lincoln’s “Gettysburg Address” proposition “that all men are created equal” fulfilled through the Civil War emancipation of slaves.

In King’s most famous “I have a dream” speech, delivered from the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. on August 28, 1963, he called America to rise up and fulfill its spiritual destiny. To the self-evident truth of all people having equal value, King added an equally timeless truth, that people “should not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

One of the timeless truths King referred to on numerous occasions was Paul’s letter to the Romans, in which he says, “Do not conform to the pattern of the world, but be transformed in the renewing of your mind.” King also drew on Thomas Jefferson’s statement, “I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.” He warned in a sermon as early as 1954, recorded in his book, Strength to Love, that “If Americans permit thought-control, business-control and freedom-control to continue, we shall surely move within the shadows of fascism.”

Seventy years later, we have moved way beyond shadows and now live in a matrix of fascism and communism that operate throughout most institutions within the United States under the camouflage of being woke, enlightened, and inclusive. Few American leaders have been as clearheaded about the dangers of groupthink as King. He reminds us of Emerson’s words: “Whoso would be a man must be a non-conformist.”

Drawing on Apostle Paul’s teachings, King implored that, “Any Christian who blindly accepts the opinions of the majority and in fear and timidity follows a path of expediency and social approval is a mental and spiritual slave.” King also commended those who went against the crowd, reminding us that, “The trailblazers in human, academic, scientific, and religious freedom have always been nonconformists…[so] in any cause that concerns the progress of mankind, put your faith in the nonconformist!”

King’s lesser-known speeches and sermons also provide prescient insight into our times. On numerous occasions, he quoted scripture about the need to be “wise as serpents, and harmless as doves,” arguing for people to adopt a tough mind and a tender heart. He expressed concern that the “prevalent tendency toward softmindedness is found in man’s unbelievable gullibility.” “Few people have the toughness of mind to judge critically and to discern the truth from the false, the fact from the fiction,” he noted.

How U.S. Public Schools Teach Jew-Hatred

Government schools are a grave threat to our national security, our national character and fundamental principle of individual rights.

The left has taken the long march into our institutions and destroyed them in the cause of hatred and tyranny.

How U.S. Public Schools Teach Antisemitism

From pre-K lessons on ‘ethnic noses’ to lectures on Israel as an apartheid state, students are learning that Jews are the enemy.

By Francesca Block, The Free Press, December 19, 2023:

Last fall, Siriana Abboud put a new poster on the wall outside her pre-K classroom at a public school in Midtown Manhattan that, she claimed, would teach her four- and five-year-old students about the human body.

The poster showed four sketches of differently shaped noses—two small, one hooked, and another with a nose ring.

“Why do people have different noses?” a headline above the drawings asked.

Underneath, kids posted their answers:

“I think it’s because of your ancestors,” one wrote.

“Where you are from,” scribbled another, with a smiley face and a heart.

Next to these replies Abboud penned her own answer:

“I think it’s based on your ethnic identity. In art, we can often tell ethnicity from the bridge of your nose.”

One senior educator in the district, who is Jewish, told The Free Press she was “appalled” by the poster. “It’s clearly connected to the ethnic tropes of Jews having big noses. Quite frankly, it reminded me of Nazi comics. I had a visceral reaction to it. It was antisemitic.”
The poster Siriana Abboud put up in her pre-K class last year.

But Abboud, a twentysomething who teaches pre-K at PS 59, Beekman Hill International School, wasn’t punished or disciplined by the Department of Education for the poster, a source who knows Abboud told The Free Press. In fact, last December, she won the Big Apple Award, the highest distinction for a city teacher, for being a “liberation-inspired educator” who “raises societal expectations of the critical work of young children.”

Abboud, who did not respond to The Free Press for comment, posts regularly on her Instagram account, which has nearly 7,000 followers and includes a Lebanese flag in her bio, about her education mission statement: “Centering Arab narratives the way my schooling never did.” In it, she shares “collective action guides” on how to “Speak with your child about Palestine” and how to “Decolonize your teaching.”

Many of her posts use cheery pastel infographics while declaring her support for Palestine, including one message she posted two days after the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel that left 1,200 dead.

On October 9, Abboud wrote: “we stand with those still tearing down border walls,” and “we show solidarity with those still fighting to free their stolen land.”

Earlier, she had made her philosophy for educating kids clear: “Our work of decolonizing education begins in preschool. It is very much already a political practice.”

Ever since Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel, pro-Palestinian protests have swept U.S. colleges, leading to charges of Jew-hatred and a disastrous congressional hearing where three college presidents failed to offer a clear moral condemnation of rising antisemitism.

But the ideology fueling these demonstrations isn’t limited to the college campus. It now begins in public high schools and even elementary schools as early as pre-K, according to more than 30 public school teachers, administrators, and parents across four states who spoke to The Free Press.

American youths aren’t just encountering the views on TikTok; they’re learning them from teachers and, in some cases, from the mandatory public school curriculum itself. Take California, where a 10th grade history course, approved by the Santa Ana Unified School District, includes readings that call Israel an “extremist illegal Jewish settler population” and accuses the country of “ethnic cleansing.” Or the Jefferson Union High School District near San Francisco, which teaches about the “Palestinian dispossession of lands/identity/culture through Zionist settler colonialism.”

The root of these lessons stems from California’s new “Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum” (ESMC), which passed in 2021 and mandates lessons on the marginalization of black, Hispanic, Native American, and Asian American peoples, emphasizing how they are oppressed by a white oppressor, says Brandy Shufutinsky, the director of education and community engagement for the Jewish Institute of Liberal Values.

“It’s a Trojan horse to institutionalize antisemitism in California schools,” Shufutinsky said.

Hamas forces Israeli hostage to reveal two others are dead in ‘guessing game’ video

Further righteous escapades of the darling of the Left, and of Muslim, Christian and atheist Jew-haters everywhere: Hamas. How have the indoctrinated bots screaming for Israel’s demise have so thoroughly deadened their conscience?

The idea from Hamas’ standpoint is, as always, to “strike terror in the enemies of Allah” (Qur’an 8:60).

Hamas uses Israeli hostage to reveal two others are dead in latest sick propaganda ‘guessing game’ video

by Ronny Reyes, New York Post, January 15, 2024:

Hamas forced a female Israeli hostage to reveal the deaths of two fellow captives as part of a sick propaganda video “guessing game” that the terrorists teased over the weekend.

Noa Argamani, 26 — who became the face of the hostage crisis when video showed her being kidnapped from the Nova music fest — appeared Monday in her third Hamas clip to reveal that Yossi Sharabi and Itai Svirsky had been killed in captivity.

An apparent extended version of the video also circulated on social media and included horrifying images believed to be Sharabi and Svirsky’s bloodied corpses being put into body bags. The images of the men’s corpses have not been officially verified.

Argamani said in the latest footage that she had been held in a building with her fellow two hostages by Hamas’ military wing when the site was hit by an Israeli airstrike.

“It was bombed by an IDF airstrike, an F16 fighter jet,” Argamni said in the video, which lasts 2 minutes and 33 seconds. “Three rockets were fired. Two of the rockets exploded, and the other didn’t.

“We were in the building with Al Qassam soldiers and three hostages: Myself, Noa Argamani, Itai Svirsky, and Yossef Sharabi,” she added.

“After the building we were in was hit, we were all buried under rubble. Al Qassam soldiers saved my life, and Itai’s. Unfortunately, we were not able to save Yossi’s,” Argamani said.

“After many days … two nights, Itai and I were relocated to another place. While we were being transported, Itai was hit by an IDF airstrike. He did not survive.”

As in previous propaganda videos featuring hostages under duress, Argamani condemned Israel’s bombardments in Gaza and levied all the blame against the Israel Defense Forces.

“They died because of our own IDF airstrikes,” she said. “Stop this madness and bring us home to our families. While we are still alive, bring us home.”

The Israeli Ministry of Defense accused Hamas of once again carrying out “psychological abuse” with the release of the propaganda videos….

Argamani can be seen on now-viral video being abducted from the Nova rage in Israel on Oct. 7 screaming, “Don’t kill me!” from the back of a motorcycle….

The Hostage Holocaust

Hearing what few facts have emerged about the state of the hostages after more than 100 days of the most evil torture, which is beyond our imaginations, who cannot grieve? What will we say on Holocaust Remembrance Day?

While the world thinks it appropriate to criminally charge Israel for committing genocide in its defense against the clear genocide of Hamas and the other terrorist states, especially a soon to be nuclear Iran, we are watching with concern the moral confusion of the coming International Holocaust Commemoration Day in late January

At the same time, any thinking and feeling Jew must be grieving daily the physical, mental, and sexual abuse of the hostages somewhere deep in the tunnels.

According to the Holocaust Encyclopedia of the United Sates Holocaust Memorial Museum, “The Holocaust (1933–1945) was the systematic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of six million European Jews by the Nazi German regime and its allies and collaborators. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum defines the years of the Holocaust as 1933–1945.”

In five books and dozens of essays, I disagree, and argue that the Holocaust is continuing. I make this explicit in my 2003 novel, The Second Catastrophe: A Novel About a Book and its Author, and then attempt, in my subsequent books, Tolerism: The Ideology Revealed and The Ideological Path to Submission, to argue that widespread tolerance of evil (what I term the ideology of Tolerism) and submission to leftist and Islamist values have robbed of us of our moral compass

And here we are today:

Firstly, our homeland Israel is under criminal indictment at The Hague in a clear inversion of morality for being genocidal in our fight against clear genocidal steps by our enemies.

Secondly, we watch the world pretend to commemorate the Shoah in its International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which never mentions the word “Israel” as defender against a second Shoah.

Thirdly, that commemoration is infused with moral and cultural relativism in this “woke” western world, where young people march calling for genocide against Israel, and perhaps all Jews, and universities are generally now factories to promote antisemitism.

Fourthly, as I shall argue, we are now witnessing a Hostage Holocaust.

The last time that I looked, the Holocaust Centre of Toronto stated in its Mandate that “It is our responsibility to educate the community at large to ensure that the lessons of the Holocaust will be learned.”

In its statement of Purpose, it states: “ As custodians of memory, we must dedicate ourselves to preserving the past and educating future generations. Only through education and remembrance can we safeguard the lessons of the Holocaust, for it is clear that they have not yet been learned.”

So, the question is: what are the lessons of the Holocaust that our Holocaust commemoration centres are teaching? The Toronto Holocaust Education website, which does not mention the word “Israel” even once, goes on to explain: “It is in the ways in which we pay tribute to memory that we truly define ourselves, for it is in forgetfulness and indifference that hate and destruction triumph.”

Two comments: Firstly, why do we assume the lessons are clear, and not openly discuss them? Secondly, this statement alleges that we “define ourselves” primarily in giving “tribute to memory” and then alleges that one lesson appears to be that it is in “forgetfulness and indifference that hate and destruction triumph”.

While there is much truth to that, I would suggest that there are a host of other lessons that we better be imparting. Surely, the antipathy to Israel and Jews worldwide today is not based on “forgetfulness and indifference” but something more ominous.

Many Holocaust educators follow curriculum ideas from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, in its “Teaching About the Holocaust: A Resource for Educators, “(t)he Holocaust calls into question our most basic assumptions about human nature, modern society, social responsibility, and global citizenship.” I certainly agree with that. But then it goes on to state:

“The study of the Holocaust assists students in developing an understanding of the ramifications of prejudice, racism and stereotyping in any society. It helps students develop an awareness of the value of pluralism, and encourages tolerance of diversity in a multicultural society.”

I am not happy, however, when I read that Holocaust Education now has a major objective of “promoting the value of pluralism, and …tolerance of diversity in a multicultural society.” Let me explain why.

Some years ago, I watched a fine series on the Holocaust by the American network, Public Broadcasting System. As part of the series, they assembled a group of high school students who not only watched the series’ episodes, but went on a trip to tour Auschwitz. Then, at the end of the series, the students were filmed, discussing what they had learned. One young man, quite typical of the rest, was clear that he had learned that we must all be free of “discrimination” and “racism”, and he vowed to be more welcoming to Muslim immigrants.

So it was made clear to the viewer. The Holocaust now stands for the principle of being tolerant and non-discriminatory. We, of course, are now entering the end-game of those who have quite successfully hijacked the moral of the Holocaust story. In a world of moral and cultural relativism, where “tolerance” is the only enduring value, we Jews are participating in a fraudulent and reprehensible misuse of History – a misuse which results in the new villains being precisely those Jews and Christians who adopt religious values to judge human behaviour, and seek to discriminate between good and evil, and the new heroes being Muslim victims of criticism. (Criticism, not terrorism, mind you. The Jews are the victims of Muslim terrorism, ed.)

Moreover, those who support the Jewish homeland in Israel are also cast as villains, since Israel (as viewed by the United Nations General Assembly et al.) is guilty of humiliating and offending Muslims everywhere by its lack of tolerance towards those who want to destroy it.

In a world that expresses more concerns about Israel erecting a security fence to protect civilians than about the intentional targeting of those civilians, and obscures the fact that there would be no checkpoints and no fences if the Palestinian Arabs would give up their fantasy of ejecting the Jewish state from the Middle East, we are faced with the need to examine what has gone wrong with our Holocaust commemoration.

For it is my argument that Holocaust commemoration has been willingly subverted by well-meaning liberal Jews into a movement to deny Jewish values in favour of the new relativist and tolerant values that are weakening the Western World’s resolve to defend itself and its freedoms against the forces of Islamofascism. In part, liberals fear that they shall be accused of “using” the memory of the Holocaust for contemporary ideological purposes – in this case, support of the state of Israel – but what they fail to understand is that all history is interpreted according to some current ideology, and the ideology of Tolerance is a problematic lens for viewing the moral of the Holocaust – since it does little for the cause of maintenance of Jewish freedoms.

I see a distinction between Jewish values and the values existing today in the secular Western World. The fact that such a view is not shared by all Jews is, in my opinion, one of the tragedies of modern Jewish life. For most Jews view ourselves as the descendants of those who entered into a covenant with G-d at Mount Sinai to accept certain laws and moral values, sometimes summarized as ethical monotheism. But unlike proselytizing religions like Christianity and Islam, we accepted certain laws as our obligation only, as a way to bring a Tikkun Olam, a repair of the universe, necessary after the fall of Adam and Eve.

Thus accepting a role to act as a “light unto the nations”, did not involve any moral superiority as such, but it did carry with it the moral judgment that we expected righteous non-Jews to live by the seven Noahite Laws – with respect to 1) idolatry; 2) blasphemy; 3) homicide; 4) incest and adultery; 5) robbery; 6) eating the flesh of a live creature; and 7) establishing a system of justice.

Note that “tolerance” and “respect for diversity” are nowhere found in this list. And note, that the Nazis in the Holocaust quite clearly breached the Noahite laws pertaining to idolatry, blasphemy, homicide, robbery and a system of justice. Accordingly, an important lesson of the Holocaust is to judge adversely any people emulating the Nazi rejection of these fundamental Noahite principles. Moral relativism, with its inherent minimization of such breaches among other peoples, is then a corruption, which a clear understanding of the moral lessons of the Holocaust should warn against.

Iran, and its proxies Hamas and Hezbollah have made it very clear in written and spoken words and documents that they are in the process of planning to commit genocide against the Jewish people. And yet, it is Israel on trial at the Hague for genocide. Furthermore, the Americans and others who want to turn over Gaza to the similar thinking terrorists who are part of the Palestinian Authority.

American Secretary of State Blinken seems to care not what happens to Israel in his fantasy of a two-state solution – which would expose Israel to Hamas-like bombing, terrorism and October 7th like conduct on both sides of this small country. Blinken then must accept that Israel go back to the “Auschwitz borders”, which is sadly ironic when we are supposed to be remembering the Holocaust.

I suggest that every Holocaust Remembrance event by every anti-Israel NGO and European anti-Israel nation, should be confronted with allegations that by supporting the terror state in Gaza and restraining Israel from ending it, and by doing little for the hostages in Gaza, they are participating in the Hostage Holocaust.

I watched quite a few interviews done with survivors of the barbaric genocidal murder, torture and rapes of October 7th. No one who watches them will ever forget them. We can only guess at this point whether such survivors have suffered as much trauma or more than the survivors of the Shoah.

As I argue in my new book shortly to be released, Second Generation Radical: The World Through One Man’s Second Generation Lens, Second and Third generation descendants of the Shoah should be taking a leadership role in the fight against this “Second Holocaust”. In my novel about a professor who writes a book claiming that a Second Holocaust is underway after the terrorism of the Second Intifada, I made clear some 20 years ago, my concern that Iran and its proxies were undertaking a Second Shoah, as distressing as that was for my readers. See The Second Catastrophe: A Novel About a Book and its Author.

Like so many others, I have become somewhat obsessed with the fate of the hostages, men, women and children, who seem to be abused in the extreme, mentally, physically and sexually. There are Americans among them, yet the Americans are focused not on the hostages, but how to reward the Palestinian Arabs with a new terror state, stronger and larger than the current one(s).

Seeing some photos of violated young girls, and hearing what few facts have emerged about the state of the hostages after more than 100 days of the most evil torture, which is beyond our imaginations, who cannot grieve? And we know that this is a Holocaust, what I call a Hostage Holocaust.

And we must take advantage of every forum that pretends to be remembering the Holocaust to argue that they should commemorate not just the Holocaust in Europe but also this second Shoah, the Hostage Holocaust.

We should remind the world that viewing the Holocaust as a symbol of the need for respect for diversity, multiculturalism and tolerance of evil, is an affront to right-thinking people everywhere – and we are witnessing a failure of morality if we fail to support Israel in this Hostage Holocaust.
