But, How Did We Come to This Cultural Transformation?

Dr. Judith Reisman, Director of the Liberty Center for Child Protection, is joining pro-family leaders from across the country in opposing the newest fad, experimental “marriage”. The brief filed on behalf of Dr. Reisman and written by Liberty Counsel exposes the 67-year history of the “sexual revolution” spawned by a sexual psychopathic bi-homosexual pederastic sadomasochist, Dr. Alfred Kinsey (source Kinsey Institute). His famous sex “research” claiming 10% to 37% of men were/are homosexual, permeates today’s marriage debate.

Yet his subjects included 1,400 sex offenders, including criminals, pedophiles and pederasts who provided the data base on their sexual abuse of infants and children for Kinsey (source Kinsey Institute).

Thus the current notion that children are unharmed by sex with adults since they are sexual from birth published in Kinsey’s books on sexual behavior in tables below.

Allegedly timing “orgasms” but actually torture, as confirmed by Kinsey descriptions of said “orgasms”. Kinsey’s team continues to tout their finding that children are sexual from birth, proudly displaying a photograph donated to the Kinsey Institute at Indiana University. Dr. Reisman’s brief explains how this data chronicling the abuse of children such as the baby pictured above, and information provided by sex offenders, criminals and prostitutes is the basis for decades of social change, including the present request for the Supreme Court to dismantle natural marriage.

Dr. Reisman and Mathew Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel which wrote the brief, explain the genesis of the attack on marriage in a new documentary produced by Janet Porter entitled, “Light Wins: How to Overcome the Criminalization of Christianity.”

Mrs. Porter will be among the pro-family leaders gathering at the Supreme Court on the eve of the Court’s oral arguments on the marriage issue to represent the majority of Americans who want their voices to be heard and respected and the breakdown of the Judeo-Christian foundation of the country to stop.

#Take Back Our Kids

Our nineteen fifty something station-wagon was loaded with Mom, Dad, big fat Aunt Nee (300 lbs ), myself and four younger siblings. Aunt Nee raised my Dad; his surrogate Mom. Our family was excited about spending a hot summer day at Carr’s Beach, Maryland. I had no idea at that time that it was the only Maryland beach open to blacks.

Before hitting the road to the beach, the ritual included riding from our black suburban community into Baltimore city to pick up Aunt Nee and stopping down “Jew Town” to purchase corned-beef and a bread that the adults loved. I did not get a sense that my parents calling it Jew Town was meant in a derogatory way. It was simply an area of Baltimore filled with Jewish businesses that sold great food.

As a matter of fact, most of the corner stores in black neighborhoods were owned by Jews. Blacks purchased items without cash, put on their account. Store owners would log items in their book; no bulletproof wall and turn-style between the Jewish store owners and their black customers.

We always had a wonderful time at the beach and rode home exhausted. Dad’s car was not air conditioned. Looking back, I wonder how on earth did we endure; three adults, five kids, food and beach supplies stuffed in a hot station-wagon. And yet, all my memories of family days at the beach bring a warm smile to my face.

Mom was a great cook. Two of mom’s weekday dinner menus stick out as favorites. One was mom’s hot homemade biscuits with butter and King Syrup. The other was collard greens with cornbread dumplings. We kids were clueless about the economic component surrounding these meals. We simply enjoyed them, never feeling deprived.

Wednesday nights were prayer service at the storefront church in Baltimore city where dad was assistant pastor. On the way home, there was a corner bakery right before we crossed over the Hanover Street bridge. Whenever dad unexpectedly pulled over to purchase a dozen donuts, it was an exciting family treat.

As the eldest, I remember my parent’s lean years more than my siblings. One Christmas, I was extremely excited receiving a secondhand bicycle. Years later, Santa delivered new bikes for my younger brothers and sister.

Dad was among Baltimore City’s first black firefighters and mom worked part-time as a custodian at a high school and a domestic for white folks.

My point is we did not have what kids have today. And yet, we enjoyed the little things. We did not feel deprived. Mom and dad always found a way to get us whatever we needed. I remember wearing my new suit for 6th grade graduation looking at my friend Martin wearing a suit a few sizes too small. My three brothers, sister and I were happy.

The Bible says “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). While my siblings and I had our individual periods of rebellion, like the prodigal son, we defaulted back to our home training; our parent’s principles and values.

Today, the Left is aggressively usurping authority over your kids, ripping parenting out of your hands.

Decades of allowing liberal indoctrination to go unchallenged has produced a generation of youths who believe in the name of “fairness” that no one should have more than anyone else (income inequality). Needs and desires are now declared to be rights (government entitlements). In our quest to prove our tolerance as conservatives, we allowed the Left to steal our kid’s minds.

Youths are idealistic. Once liberalized guilt-ridden youths are led down the road of trying to make life fair, the consequences are far reaching. For example: Pressure from students is forcing colleges to make all campus restrooms “all gender”. An Oregon High School created gender-neutral restrooms for transgender students.

In case you have not noticed, the Left has zero tolerance for anyone daring to disagree with their far left radical liberal agenda. They punish and even seek to criminalize opposing points of view. How long will it be before our kids are reporting their parents to authorities after overhearing them express an opinion out-of-step with that of the Left, government and the mainstream media?

Folks, it is time that we take back our kids from Leftist’s indoctrination.

Though “#Bring Back Our Girls” won rave reviews from liberals, sadly, it did nothing to free the 200 girls kidnapped and made sex slaves by Islamic extremists. A year later, the girls have not been returned.

I wish to implement, #Take Back Our Kids. I am calling all parents to closely monitor their local school administrators and school boards, confronting them when necessary. Home schooling is a great option. We can no longer sit back and passively allow the Left to totally control the thinking and beliefs of our kids. We must #Take Back Our Kids.

This past week end, I spent a lot of time outside working on my landscaping.  The long, hard winter of 2014/2015 looks to be over.  And I would just like to say thank you to Global Warming advocates who are still at a loss as to why this planets climate has not lived up to the desert like conditions promised.

I guess global warming equals record cold temperatures and record snow fall.  Well if that is what global warming is, then I will jump on board because I love living in New England and I sure don’t want another Alaska type winter to befall us.  Note the sarcasm.  But I digress.

While working in my yard this past week end, I got to see some of what makes America great.  The freedom of people to be who they want to be.  I saw people walking in shorts and tank tops. Mind you, although it is warm, to me it is far from tank top weather.

I saw folks riding their motorcycles, big ones and small ones.  Some had flags on the back.

Some were the noisy type.  Some were the fast type.  And some were the big, touring grandparent type. I saw folks taking their convertibles out for a week end joy ride probably for the first time this year.  I saw and heard the younger set with all their windows down and music blaring.  Yes, we can hear you a half mile away and you are going to kill your ears by playing music that loud. But at least in most communities, those young people have the freedom to play their music in their car as loud as they want.

And there it is.  The freedom.  I saw people enjoying their freedom.  Nobody telling them they could not walk in a tank top yet.  Nobody passing a law preventing motorcycles from being ridden at this time of year.  No overreaching ordinances telling young people that in order to be legal others cannot hear your music outside of your car at all.

Now this part of the article is for all of my Liberal friends and haters out there.  This is where I point out how hypocritical you are.  Lets take gay rights for example.  Now this is America.  As some would say, ‘Murica.  And this is the land of the free.  Which, you on the left say, means that gays have the right to live as they please.  They have a right to live in peace.  They have a right to love who they please.  They have the right to have a life just like a straight person.  To which many other Americans would agree. But then you turn the tables on everyone else.  You want laws dictating how others act and react around you.  You wish to stifle or take away the freedom and rights of others just to fit your own selfish desires.  You say you want to be free, but you want big government to dictate how we all live and interact with each other.

It would be like telling the person on the fast motorcycle that he is not allowed to go 65 mph on the highway while allowing cars to do that speed.  In other words, you are not asking for freedom.  You are asking for special privileges.  Privileges in which the rest of the population is not able to avail themselves of.  You are asking to separate the people in to classes and groups. Some classes and some groups get more freedom than others.

That kind of thought is straight out of the pages of the novel Animal Farm.  In this novel there is a passage that says, “some animals are more equal than others” which means some animals are not equal at all.

This is the same thought process used to own and keep slaves.  Blacks were not thought of as being equal to whites.  Now gays want to say that straights are not equal to gays.  And thus a straight person has no right to admonish gays in any way.  However, when you ask the question of gays should they be forced to make a T-Shirt for a Muslim that says “gays are infidels and must die” the fast and quick answer is no way.

Well if you have the right to tell a straight person they must make you a t-shirt that says “being gay is fab” then the Muslim has the right to tell the gay person to make him a t-shirt of his choosing. But in order to get around this, gays would say that what the Muslim wants is hate speech.  So you want to create a law that stops hate speech.  Even though, in this country, the Muslim is free to say what he pleases just like you and I.  But you wish to live your life of freedom by taking the rights of others away simply because you don’t like it.

This is not an issue with Muslims.  I need to say it because some of you out there would point out Muslims should not have a right to say what they say.  To which I reply with a query.  Why?  Sure I find a lot of what they say offensive.  But does that give me the right to deny his free speech rights simply because I don’t agree or like his speech? Does this mean that gays should censor straights because they don’t like the fact that some straights don’t agree with homosexuality?  Does it mean that we force the motorcycle to go only 55 instead of 65 because they are not wrapped in a steal cage?

Who decides who gets special rights and who gets their rights denied?  The point is when you deny someone their rights, you are most likely starting down that slippery road process of denying your own rights.  And frankly that makes us all less free.  And less freedom has no place in ‘Murica.

America, Land of Hope Amongst Elitist Hypocrites

The progressives are guilty of what they have often accused others of being. Hypocrites.

So now the elitist progressives have dubbed the support of traditional marriage between a man and a woman as bigotry equal to racism.  It is amazing how with a straight face at least publicly, the progressives actually equate marriage between a man and a woman with racism and bigotry.  Such an argument obviously borders on insanity.  But the mistake would be to laugh it off and act like it is just silly liberals with nothing better to do.

In fact, such statements are part of a massive orchestrated effort to fundamentally change every good aspect of our constitutionally limited republic.  It is the progressives who are actually the bigoted and hateful ones.  It is they who disdain God’s design for man and woman to come together in holy matrimony and raise children in a solid family unit.  One of the surest ways to maintain a strong, vibrant and blessed society is the continuation of the traditional family.  It was my own Dad who would often tell me that a nation is only as strong as it’s families.

The progressives know that to be true as well.  That is why they have burrowed their way into every sphere of influence throughout society.  They wormed their way deep into the entertainment industry, the education system, the news media, the sports industry, corporate America, the military and even mainline Christian denominations to fundamentally turn those institutions away from the more solid principles they had practiced for eons.  For example, someone in academia telling students that a natural marriage between a woman and a man who desire to be together equates to racism.

Thus, the progressives themselves are displaying their own bias against a successful way of life that has served mankind very well for dozens of centuries.  Those in opposition to the many positive institutions (such as traditional marriage) are on a deviant mission to wedge their more troubling progressive policies of destruction into our American society.  Recently, we witnessed in Indiana how big business, big media along with progressive political leaders use their significant power and influence to topple over good proven religious liberty protections.  This cultural cronyism is a coming together of those in power and influence, who like President Obama desire to fundamentally change America.

The elites are so united, that even though the same amount of amicus briefs have been file at the Supreme Court both supporting and opposing state marriage laws, not one single major law firm has filed a brief supporting marriage as the union of a man and a woman. (That little tidbit was supplied by noted writer, Ryan T. Anderson) Most homosexual, environmental and social justice activists all have one creepy thing in common.  That is the changing of the United States of America from a Christian professing constitutionally limited republic into a Christian loathing politically left of center, where big nanny goat government is god.

I must say, that while the leftist progressives has numerous issues they promote, with homosexual marriage being the hot flavor of the month of June for them, I have a question.  If homosexual marriage is so right and meant to be, why can’t they be fruitful and multiply by just mating alone?  ‘We the People” of America must unite and stand against big government abusing and penalizing sovereign citizens who simply seek to live their lives as they legally and morally see fit.  They must not be forced to travel down the progressive road that leads to destruction.

Have you noticed that the further America is dragged away from the building block principles that made her the one time envy of the world, the more she deteriorates in every aspect, including economics, military decision making, etc.?  For those who insist on comparing a Christian photographer choosing to pass on the opportunity to film a certain type of wedding, here is a news flash!  Whether you like it or not, the Bible affirms that marriage (as God intended) has nothing at all to do with race.  But rather it has everything to do with love between a man and a woman and procreation.  From Genesis to Revelation the Bible specifically deals with husbands and wives in many circumstances.

Thus it is most important not to allow the progressive elites to fundamentally change America in order to bully and go after us Americans who simply maintain our belief in the ONE who shed his grace upon our exceptional nation.  God Bless America and May America Bless God.

Republican Party Elites Abandon Traditional Marriage

Only six of 54 Republican members of the Senate signed a pro-traditional marriage legal brief to the U.S. Supreme Court that was submitted on Friday. USA Today noted, “By contrast, 44 Democratic senators and 167 Democratic House members filed a brief last month urging the court to approve same-sex marriage. The brief included the full House and Senate [Democratic] leadership teams.”

A brief to the court filed by Liberty Counsel notes that, in the past, the Supreme Court has upheld marriage as “a foundational social institution that is necessarily defined as the union of one man and one woman.” It cites the case of Skinner v. Oklahoma, in which marriage was declared to be “fundamental to the very existence and survival of the race,” and Maynard v. Hill, in which marriage was declared “the foundation of the family and of society, without which there would be neither civilization nor progress.”

Liberty Counsel said the court is being asked to affirm a false notion of marriage based upon fraudulent data about homosexual activity in society. It said, “For the past 67 years, scholars, lawyers and judges have undertaken fundamental societal transformation by embracing Alfred Kinsey’s statistically and scientifically fraudulent ‘data’ derived from serial child rapists, sex offenders, prisoners, prostitutes, pedophiles and pederasts. Now these same change agents, still covering up the fraudulent nature of the Kinsey ‘data,’ want this Court to utilize it to demolish the cornerstone of society, natural marriage.”

The homosexual movement has long maintained that Kinsey validated changes in sexual behavior that were already taking place in society. In fact, however, the evidence uncovered by Dr. Judith Reisman shows that Kinsey deliberately exaggerated those changes in a fraudulent manner by using data from pedophiles and prisoners.

Commenting on the impact of the acceptance of the fraudulent Kinsey data, Accuracy in Media founder Reed Irvine noted, “Gradually over the years, acceptance of the Kinsey morality has grown to the point where premarital and extramarital sex raise no eyebrows, where, in some communities, out-of-wedlock births are in the majority, homosexuality is glorified and aggressively promoted in our schools and the last taboo—adults having sex with young children—is now under attack in some of our institutions of higher learning.”

The Republican Conservative Steering Committee released the following statement:

Leaders of the 2012 Republican National Convention Committee on the Platform and the Republican Conservative Steering Committee filed an amicus brief with the United States Supreme Court urging the Court to consider the societal benefits of traditional marriage as it considers whether to uphold Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee, and Kentucky laws protecting such marriage.

The Brief argues that the states have an important interest in protecting and promoting traditional marriage and family as the foundation of a free society.

“The Republican Party has sought to protect and promote traditional marriage and family as the foundation of a free society, since the success of traditional families minimizes the need for government programs and intervention and because traditional families form a bulwark against the growth of government and its excesses. As a result, many states have protected and promoted traditional marriage in pursuit of this important government interest, often with bipartisan support, and their laws that do so are thereby constitutional,” explains attorney James Bopp, Jr., an amicus and lead counsel for all amici.

The friends-of-the-Court are members of the leadership of the 2012 Republican National Convention Committee on the Platform: Co-Chairman of the Committee Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), and Co-Chairmen of the Subcommittees with jurisdiction over marriage and family James Bopp, Jr. (Subcommittee on We the People: A Restoration of Constitutional Government) and Carolyn McLarty (Subcommittee on Renewing American Values to Build Healthy Families, Great Schools and Safe Neighborhoods).

In addition, the Republican Conservative Steering Committee, an independent organization comprising the majority of the current members of the Republican National Committee, is also an amicus. The Steering Committee voted to approve submission of the Brief.

The Brief explains that, since its inception, the Republican Party has been the champion of equality, individual freedom and limited government and, as a result, of the family.

“The Republican Party has always stood for equality, individual freedom, and limited government, and traditional marriage and family helps ensure that,” says attorney and amicus Bopp.

“The Party’s motivation for its pro-family policies has never been about ill will towards any American and, historically, has had nothing whatsoever to do with same-sex marriage. It is quite the opposite: every American deserves the opportunity at the very best chance of success in this country, without government dependency or intrusion, and traditional marriage helps accomplish that.” Mr. Bopp continues, “State governments have a compelling reason to protect traditional marriage and family as the foundation of a free society.”

Amicus Carolyn McLarty stated. “I am honored to be an amicus or “friend-of-the court” on this Amicus Brief to the Supreme Court.  This Brief has presented a fresh argument for keeping, promoting, and protecting traditional marriage as a necessity for a free society.”

Today the Republican Conservative Steering Committee launched a petition on their website so the grassroots supporters of traditional marriage can sign in support of the Amicus Brief.

The case is Obergefell, et al. v. Hodges, et al.

The Left: Love Means Never Having to Say Anything is Wrong

President Obama shows great respect for Muslims and their holy days and even lectures us to do the same. And yet, a few days after another slaughter of Christians which Obama refused to acknowledge, Obama cavalierly chose the Christian high holy day of Easter to take yet another of his signature shots at Christians. Obama displays a hypersensitive respect for Islam while displaying little sensitivity or respect for Christians while claiming to be a Christian. The Bible says by their fruits ye shall know them.

At the Easter Prayer Breakfast, Obama accused Christians of not acting in love.

This Leftist trick (tactic) has worked on too many Christians for far too long.

Candidly, I found myself in church rolling my eyes listening to a sermon in which the pastor chided his congregation. His rebuke is the LGBT community does not like Christians because we are not loving enough to them. Most Christians I know are extremely tolerant and loving to homosexuals. I sat there thinking, “Brother, that’s not what this is about. Obviously, you have not yet realized the Left’s War on Christianity.” This “ain’t” about homosexuals seeking acceptance. The Left’s mission hidden in plain sight is to force their secular, liberal and anti-biblical agenda down our throats. Some say the Left has already won over a generation of our kids; hijacking their thinking starting in kindergarten with books like “Heather Has Two Mommies.”

Whenever Christians catch wind of the Left’s stealthily orchestrated war on Christians and push back, the Left employs their you’re-not-acting-in-love according to the teachings of Jesus tactic. Insidious and repulsive. These people who despise Jesus dare to reference His teachings to manipulate Christians.

The Left’s narrative is love equals accepting someone just the way they are.

My brother said, “Love does not mean we should co-sign sin.” If your child is a thief, love does not require you to support their illegal behavior. Quite the opposite. Whom the Lord loves He chastens.

As I stated, far too many Christians are manipulated by the Left’s love guilt-trip tactic. In the name of love, duped Christians are ignoring God’s Word to adopt an anything goes mindset. The Bible says hate the sin, but love the sinner. The Left are highly enraged by this biblical command to Christians.

The Left demands that Christians enthusiastically rubber stamp anti-biblical behavior or risk being made an example of; humiliated in the mainstream media, sued and forced out of business. Hello, the Catholic nuns of Little Sisters of the Poor, Hobby Lobby, Chick-fil-A, Sweet Cakes by Melissa, Arlene’s Flowers and Gifts, Elane Photography, Mozilla’S CEO, the Benham brothers who lost their show on HGTV and Memories Pizza to name a few.

The Left’s message is alarmingly loud and clear. To all who do not embrace our mission to kill babies and paint the mark of the homosexual rainbow over the door of your business, we will figuratively bury you.

Loyal to Obama, some black pastors now embrace same sex marriage. I heard a black minister scold his congregation. He preached that Obama is correct in embracing same sex marriage because he is president, not a Christian evangelist. A supposed man of God praising the president for siding against God’s Word.

A black Christian minister friend strongly opposed same sex marriage. Desperate to make Obama good and his Christian opposition wrong, my friend changed. His excuse is you can not legislate behavior. He said his faith does not permit him to attend a homosexual wedding ceremony, but he would attend the homosexual wedding reception. I thought, “What do you say chatting with guests? Wasn’t Harry a beautiful bride?“

Praise God! A coalition of over 3,700 black Christian ministers are pushing back against Obama and the Left’s anti-biblical agenda.

Folks, please listen to this compelling interview on the Joe Miller radio show with John Zmirak. John articulates what the Left has been scheming under the radar of most Christians. Note that John once supported same sex marriage, but has come to realize that it is only the tip of the iceberg of the Left’s scary anti-Christian agenda.

Bottom line, Christian’s strategy of appeasing the Left is in essence allowing the fox to run rampant in the hen house; corrupting the minds of our kids via public schools, Hollywood and the media.

In His love, it is time for Christians to stand up and be salt and light in our culture.

You Better Bake That Cake

While Christians are beheaded by Muslims and babies are murdered in mass by misguided individuals, the progressives are more concerned about cakes.  Recently, Pope Francis solemnly stated that “martyrs are more numerous today than they were in the first centuries of the church.”  It is difficult to dispute the Pontiffs claims, considering the ongoing day in and day out murdering, raping, burning, crucifying, enslaving, and torturing of Christians by Muslims. They often claim they have a right to do so because their Quran’ instructs them to wipe out non-Muslims, enslave Blacks, abuse women, and torture animals.

Such actions continue non-stop around the world and have been perpetrated here in America as well.  However in the United States, the progressives look the other way when it comes to Muslim atrocities.  Of course they have been overwhelmingly concerned and working to wipe out the right of Christian bakers, who simply choose not to bake cakes in celebration of unnatural marital couplings that go against their religious beliefs.  The hypocritical leftists didn’t even complain when a Muslim baker in Dearbornistan, MI refused to bake a cake for a homosexual wedding.  Of course that confirms what I have known about the progressive left for years.

Those on the left, do not give a rat’s behind about the numerous atrocities being inflicted upon numerous individuals around the world. Unless it fits their agenda to feign concern.  Their so-called concern is part of an overall mission to undermine the ongoing operation of Christianity and perhaps even the United States as well.  A clarifying example, the left’s homosexuals are victims campaign is not at all about freedom or especially not liberty. In fact it is all about trying to delegitimize and annihilate Christianity. That is why to this day, they have exhibited more concern about forcing a cake baker to go against his or her Biblical teachings, than about the daily physical onslaught of murder and mayhem against non-Muslims and unborn babies.

Our magnificent Declaration of Independence points out our unalienable rights to “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.” But the progressives who pretend to be in favor of liberty, protection of life, and the pursuit of happiness decry that concept for Christians. In fact, they equate a Christian operating according to his beliefs with aggression against homosexuals. Yet they still remain almost mute about the horrendous physical abuse homosexuals face throughout the Muslim dominated Middle East.  Another lefty Tim Cook, CEO of Apple seems to project the belief that Christians in America should be prevented from operating according to their beliefs.  Can Tim cook really believe that his selective focus only against Christians is tolerant, wholesome, freedom loving and humane behavior?

Yet on the other hand, according to a recent World magazine report, Mr. Cook traveled to the Middle East to try and nail down deals on behalf of Apple.  Homosexuality is completely outlawed in most of that part of the planet. Participants in unnatural sexual acts between men are punished by hanging, being stoned to death, burned alive or simply tossed from the top of a building.  The recently signed Religious Protection Law in Indiana was a mere reflection of the federal law passed and signed during the administration of President Bill Clinton in 1993. The protests and angst over the Indiana Religious Protection Law was not at all about protecting people from inequality or maltreatment of any kind.

The deafening silence in regards to the thousands of monthly victims of Muslim led abuse, is more than enough evidence of the utter hypocrisy of those who say they are so concerned about inequality.  An individual deciding to follow his religious and moral beliefs is not committing the sin of inequality by not baking a cake for a homosexual wedding.   I think that those seeking to find Christian business owners to try and force them to go against their beliefs are disingenuous, evil and cowardly.  I doubt we will hear or see any of them going against Muslims to try and force them to stop their murderous ways. Remember, the United States of America was founded with a major inclusion of Christian principles, ethics and beliefs. Thus the progressives who hate and discriminate against Christianity, the Constitution, Federalist Papers, etc. are as president Obama said, out to “fundamentally change America.”

Wake up my fellow Americans! The rights you lose could be your own.

During the past two weeks Americans have lost their minds regarding the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) that was passed and signed into law by Indiana governor, Mike Pence. My readers know I do not support homosexual marriage or the homosexual agenda of being legally protected as a class based on their sexual preferences.

My purpose with this column is to bring some sanity to the debate swirling around the issue of religious freedom. I want to remove all emotion from the debate and discuss the facts.

The bill in question was Indiana Senate Bill 101, titled the “Religious Freedom and Restoration Act.” Pence signed the bill into law and all hell broke loose. Opponents said the bill would allow businesses to discriminate against homosexuals; supporters said it would protect business owners from doing things that would put them at odds with their religious beliefs.

The bill was three pages long and never mentioned the words homosexual or gay; thus the homosexual community went out seeking a problem where none existed.

The homosexual community is masterful at PR. When you don’t have public support for your position, many times a good PR campaign can usually do the trick. As I have written many times in previous columns, Republicans are horrible when it comes to PR and communications, even when they are right on the issue.

Gov. Pence in particular and Republicans in general showed total incompetence in dealing with this issue. They should have anticipated this type of reaction from the radical left. This was so obvious that even Stevie Wonder could have seen this coming.

Nineteen other states have passed similar laws, with several others considering the same. So you mean to tell me that almost half of America believes in discrimination? I don’t think so!

This whole debate has absolutely nothing to do with discrimination and everything to do with forcing Americans to accept the homosexual lifestyle and their intolerant agenda. Homosexuals don’t deserve special treatment because of their sexual preferences; but they do deserve equal treatment because of their humanity.

They would argue how could I, as a Black man who has experienced discrimination, support the discrimination that they suffer because of their sexual preferences? Their plight, according to them, is the Civil Rights of our day. STOP right there!

I find it extremely offensive for homosexuals to attempt to equate the two. Blacks fought for rights that were already enshrined in the U.S. Constitution. The Constitution granted us citizenship, equality, and the right to vote; the Constitution just wasn’t being enforced. Thus, the need for civil disobedience, political and legal action.

There is no such accommodation for homosexuality, NONE. That’s what this fight is all about. They want to be “legally” codified as a protected class strictly based on their sexual preferences and gender identity.

Now, let’s assume for this discussion that you are a Christian and that you believe homosexuality is a sin, thus is wrong. Homosexuals would argue, and rightfully so, sin is sin. How is homosexuality any different than lying, adultery, murder, cheating, stealing, etc.? Great question. I have an answer that homosexuals don’t want to deal with.

Name me one state in the U.S. where they are trying to legalize lying, adultery, murder, cheating, or stealing? Homosexuality is the only sin that people are trying to codify as legally and morally permissible. Can someone please reconcile this for me?

Homosexuals have been successful at getting many courts to recognize them as a protected class even though there is no legal basis to recognize someone based on their sexual preferences. It takes a lot of legal creativity to create a protected class out of nothing.

I find it quite interesting that, as a heterosexual Black male, that I would not be allowed to join a lesbian group or sit on the board of a homosexual chamber of commerce (yes, they do exist). Is this not also hateful, bigoted, and discriminatory?

Why is it necessary for everyone to know your sexual preferences? If I go to my workplace and tell women that I am heterosexual and like women; I will be rushed down to the HR department and possibly fired. But, if I go to the same workplace and announce that I am homosexual, they close early and the CEO buys a big cake and we celebrate my courage for stating my sexual preference publically (i.e. would be N.F.Ler., Michael Sam)

Courage is stating that you are homosexual in Saudi Arabia or Pakistan. Courage is sitting at a Woolworth lunch counter and knowing that you are going to get the hell beat out of you because you are Black.

On a homosexual’s worst day, they have nothing to fear in America; on their worst day, nothing they go through can ever compare to what Blacks went through from slavery until the present. We didn’t get sold into slavery because we were homosexual; homosexuals never get pulled over by police because they are homosexual; homosexuals never get shot by police because they are homosexual; they don’t get denied bank loans because they are homosexual. So please dispense with the odious comparisons.

Blacks never sought special recognition as a class, we simply wanted recognition.

Patriots, we did it! We raised over $840 grand expressing our love, support and solidarity with Memories Pizza – a Christian owned business temporarily closed down due to extreme harassment from the Left.

The Blaze TV host Dana Loesch came up with the idea of a fundraiser for Memories Pizza, targeted for destruction because of their beliefs in support of traditional marriage. National talk radio hosts Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh picked up Dana’s baton and ran with it.

Memories-PizzaWhat struck me most about the initiative was the self-less unity. Conservatives of varying stripes came together to lift up a wounded brother (Memories Pizza) in the battle for liberty and freedom. In essence, conservatives across America said to Memories Pizza, “Hang in there bro, we got your back.” Awesome! This is how we win this battle for our freedom folks. This is how we push them back.

The fundraiser felt like a project of our national conservative family. I was excited about participating; eager to do my part. Mary does our on-line transactions. The moment she awoke, before she could pour her first cup of coffee, I asked her to go to the website and contribute. When she told me it was done, we felt great.

But folks, what really warmed my heart is the fact that we did it together. United we stand, divided we fall sounds cliche. However, it is so true. Look at the power we have when we work together.

Twenty years ago, I produced a similar feel good initiative. Working on a song in the recording studio late one night, a ten year old kid knocked on the door asking for money. Frank Starchak my music producer said the kid had bad parents and was on the road to becoming a juvenile delinquent.

That night, I dreamed of various singers and bands coming together, laying aside their egos to record “Amazing Grace” in their own style (musical genre). I sent out a clarion call to the Maryland music community. We recorded a unique version of the classic hymn. All proceeds from sales of the recording benefited a youth center run by a Catholic nun, Sister Bobby. Please give it a listen.

There is a verse in the Bible that says they meant it for evil, but God meant it for good. Clearly, the Left’s attack on Memories Pizza was an evil attempt to destroy the Christian owned business.

God used the Left’s attack to bless not just Memories Pizza, but give a must needed shot of feel-good inspiration in the arm of the Tea Party movement.

A patriot called a national talk radio show to say she and her husband plan to trek to Memories Pizza to celebrate their wedding anniversary. What a great idea.

Saint Petersburg College: Same-Sex Marriage Debate [Video]

On March 26th, 2015, John Stemberger, President and General Counsel of the Florida Family Policy Council, participated in a debate and panel discussion at the Saint Petersburg College’s Institute for Strategic Policy Solutions on the topic of the impact to society and culture from same-sex marriage. Mr. Stemberger’s seven minute opening remarks begin at minute 19:10 in the below video and the lively question and answer session that followed was also very interesting and educational.

The panel included another lawyer, a sociology professor and a gay activist.

Many say that America is now the land of the free and home of the brave in concept only. It is getting more difficult to argue with that assessment. When Indiana governor, Mike Pence initially signed into law a religious liberty bill I was pleased and thought highly of the Hoosier State leader.  Unfortunately, after a hot air blow back from the usual progressive suspects, a proposal to amend changes to the bill was brought forth by the governor. So basically, certain individuals and anti- Christian groups don’t approve of Christians exercising their religious beliefs in the operation of their businesses. Even NASCAR went to nutsville, making some idiotic proclamation about welcoming homosexuals to their events. NASCAR’S little statement was nothing more than phony grand-standing event to make brownie points with anti-Christians zealots.

No-one advocates not allowing homosexuals to be prevented from being treated with the same respect due anyone else. By the way, for you anything goes promoters, the personal life choice of an individual or group does not supersede the right of another to operate according to his or her religious beliefs.  It is about time that homosexuals and their progressive supporters grow up and stop trying to bully people who don’t think and believe as they do.  I know that many homosexuals, just like liberals, progressives, dedicated Muslims, etc. are not stupid.  So let’s cut to the chase.  You people and groups want to fundamentally change America into a land void of the Christian values she was founded upon, including virtue and traditional family values. It is you liberals, homosexuals, dedicated Muslims and progressives who truly discriminate against sovereign individuals who don’t believe, act or think like you do.

If a homosexual, transvestite, or lesbian wants to walk into any bakery in America, they can purchase a cake. But Christians who actually believe the word of God concerning unnatural lifestyles may not want to sale a cake for that purpose.  It is not about discrimination against anyone. What is going on is homo-intimidation of those who believe in and operate according to a different lifestyle standard.

The Bible states that certain things are an abomination to God, including men laying with men in a sexual manner, also adultery and fornication. The last time I checked (and I really did check) American Christians are being forced to celebrate unnatural sexual activities. But a funny thing occurred to me. Adulterers are not filing into bakeries and demanding adultery cakes, or fornication cakes for fornicators. There are a great number of non-Christian specialty bakeries willing to oblige, just not a Christian bakery.

Besides, if I were not a Christian and homosexual who wanted to purchase a cake that reflects something totally non-Christian, I would try to force a Christian bakery to take my business. To try and bully others just to force them to serve your cause is not justice, nor is it morally correct. The so-called tolerance of the unnatural sexual practitioners always harp about is a crock of you know what.

It was a shame that governor Pence folded under pressure from people who do not believe in religious liberty. The left is hoping that those they oppose will give up their beliefs and cow-tow to their outrageous demands. Such actions exhibited by governor Pence is indicative of part of the reason why our republic turned mob rule democracy is in mortal danger of collapsing from within. If we are not willing to stand for what we believe or know to be right, our nation will end up falling for anything and suffer the consequences.

“We the People” can no longer afford to give in or give out because it may be a bit of uncomfortable persecution from the bigoted progressives. The more of our unalienable rights we allow to be trampled upon just to get along to go along, the more difficult it will be to simply live in the United States. The progressives, liberals and unnatural sexual practitioners will never stop complaining about others who don’t walk in lockstep with them.  For example the legions of homosexual supporters and other leftists who threatened the lives of pizzeria owners in Walktertown, Indiana because they are Christians who would not cater a homosexual wedding.  I thank God for the even greater numbers of Americans, both gay and straight, who showed with monetary support and words of encouragement for the pizzeria owners who only expressed their faith.

My fellow Americans, let’s remember the worthy words of the Revolutionary War her Thomas Paine. “Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it.”

Wake up America and avoid certain doom, let us together resume our nation’s destiny of greatness.

Hope all is well on “The Day in Between the Two Great Feast Days of St. Patrick and St. Joseph” – two great saints of the Holy Catholic Church. For some reason, the jovial Feast Day of St. Patrick always gets a bit more fanfare than the more humbler Feast Day of St. Joseph, mainly because I truly believe that St. Joseph was just that – a humble man, an obedient man, a man that went with the Plan, serving as the Father of the Royal Family, while keeping a low profile. Thus, the Feast Day of St. Joseph does not include the wild and crazy “green beer” drinking of people out on the streets, some times for an entire weekend (if St. Patrick’s Day happens to land on a Monday or Tuesday, like it did this year).

And, usually, a St. Patrick’s Day parade goes along with this jovial partying. Namely, the one that took place in New York City yesterday afternoon. Yes, this parade is older than the United States, itself, 253 years compared to 238 years. And, yep, yesterday’s parade marked the first time that any Archbishop of New York allowed, embraced, promoted and celebrated groups of Gay marchers as part of the jovial festivities. And, yep, it was my good buddy, Cardinal Dolan, who not only promoted this atrocity – but, he reveled in this parade as the Grand Marshall, allowing the spotlight to be on him, while smiling, waving to the crowds and chomping on his ever-famous, juicy fruit chewing gum.

Friends – including the Secretary of the Vatican, the USCCB, the FCCB, Cardinal Dolan, himself – and the hundreds of Catholic clergy who are on my e-mail list and reading this bold column: Say what you want; think what you want; and even criticize the bold Michael Voris of Church Militant for calling out Cardinal Dolan for his excessive “selfish” damage he has caused to our beloved Holy Catholic Church – but, if you, for one moment, can defend Cardinal Dolan for serving as the Grand Marshall for this parade and for all the controversial shenanigans he has brought on to our beloved Church – you really need to contact me. I am dying to hear your side of the story because I have only seen the reckless, self-serving, media-attention and arrogant side of this out-of-control cardinal of the Church.

And you beloved clergy all know how much I love our other Holy cardinals of the Church who have put their lives on the line for our beloved Faith. Cardinal Raymond Burke and Cardinal Francis George come to mind immediately, as they both have taken bold stances to defend the Holy Catholic Church all of their lives, including as of recent, while dealing with age, health and “political correctness” issues. GOD Bless the Holy church leaders who boldly defend the Holy Catholic Church like these two men have. GOD help the phony, attention-seeking cardinals of the Holy Catholic Church who have sent out mixed messages to the 1.2 billion Catholic faithful in the world, like a Cardinal Dolan, who clearly has defeated everything that the good Holy cardinals have accomplished – while pushing the envelope with the Gay agenda more than any church leader in this country…

So, I will leave it up to the bold and accurate Michael Voris of Church Militant to illustrate to each and every one of us what Cardinal Dolan has done to the credibility and future of the Holy Catholic Church that Voris loves with his entire being. It’s all about Telling the Truth and Voris backs it all up with true facts, history and videos. These two short videos lay it all on the line for us as it is quite evident that the joking cardinal is truly at fault here. If, after watching these two videos, you even question Michael Voris and take Cardinal Dolan’s side – then, we have a problem – not only in Houston – but, right here with our own Catholic Church clergy and parishioners.

Friends: Cardinal Dolan is dead wrong. And, everybody knows it. By Catholic Church teachings and standings – the “act of sodomy” is a sin. We learned that in Catechism years ago. It is immoral, unnatural and defies everything that the Holy Bible stands for. Every Catholic in this country (even the 53% gutless ones who voted for Emperor Obama in 2008 and 2012), knows that the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony is a “blessed union between one man and one woman”. Period. When a prominent & popular church leader like Cardinal Dolan embrace, endorse, support and promote the Gay agenda (both, publicly and privately like he has), and sends the message “loud and queer” to the 78 million Catholics in this country that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality, Gay unions and the immoral Gay lifestyle – then, we’ve got a major problem. And, if our beloved clergy do NOT see this as a mortal sin – as against Catholic Church teachings – then, we have more than a serious, major problem…It’s back to the drawing board, back to the seminary, guys…

Now, throw in the appalling corruption that took place behind closed doors (maybe in a closet), between Cardinal Dolan and Pro-abortion/ Pro-Gay Marriage New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and the “money exchange” between the Education system in New York, the abortion industry and the Gay agenda that both Cuomo and Dolan promote – then, we all know that New York City is on its way to becoming “the second coming of Sodom and Gomorrah”. Common Core, Abortion & Gay Marriage rule the streets of New York City, folks….and, these two left-wing leaders promote every aspect of it.

Yes, it takes a ton of guts & courage to write what I am writing in this e-mail and boldly calling out a prominent Catholic Church leader for doing what he is doing as this is NOT the first time I have written about the atrocities of Cardinal Dolan & the Catholic Church. I have blasted him countless times only because he has blasted our beloved Catholic Church way too many times! But, like my spiritual directors have told me all my life – “If you tell the Truth at all times, you never have to remember what you lied about”. Like I do with every e-mail and article that I have ever written in my life, I am hear to Tell the Truth and nothing but the Truth, so help me, GOD. And, I am here to defend the Holy Catholic Church with all that I’ve got so that our future generations of Catholics can one day, maybe see what our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, aimed to do when He instructed Peter to be the rock upon which he was going to build His church…

And, with all this being said, if I do not share this critical message with the hundreds of clergy who are on my e-mail list, I am doing our beloved Catholic faith a disservice. You all know that I have always had your backs. I am always the first to defend you, to pray for you and will be the first to arrive at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius on Holy Tuesday for the Chrism Mass, my favorite Mass of the year. And, like always, I will be the first to give our beloved clergy a standing ovation when Bishop Barbarito acknowledges you guys – priests and deacons, alike. But, at the same time, I am always the first to challenge you and to call you out when you step out of line. I expect the same from you guys when I step out of line. Clergy and lay people all need to read this ever-critical e-mail and be aware of this controversial issue at hand, that is taking place in our Church right here in the “most glamorous city in the country”, as the sooner we nip it in the bud, the sooner we can get back to what we learned in our Baltimore Catechisms way back when…and, Baltimore is not too far from New York…

Boy, what I would give to have Jesus come back for just one day – maybe on my favorite Feast Day (Pentecost Sunday) – and show up in New York City, lose His temper for the second time, and turn over those corrupt tables of the “money changers and tax collectors”, and run Cardinal Dolan and Cuomo out of the House of GOD and off the streets of New York. Of course, it is “the city that never sleeps”… Would you be able to sleep at night if you knew that all of this corruption and sinning is going on???

Traditional Catholics outraged that Knights of Columbus to march in “pro-gay” Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Parade is Sunday. Take action right now, say Catholic activists!

It’s happening across America. But in Boston they’re fighting back . . .

Catholics in Boston and across the country are livid that the Massachusetts State Knights of Columbus (K of C), the prominent Catholic men’s organization, has announced that it will and have a float and also march in the newly “gay inclusive” Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade this Sunday, March 15.

C.J. Doyle, head of the Boston-based Catholic Action League has called it a “betrayal” and a “dishonor to St. Patrick” and is urging Catholics around the country to contact the K of C and demand they rescind their decision (See below)

The announcement by the K of C came after the parade’s 25-year landmark float and accompanying marchers from a religious Catholic school dropped out because of the addition of a homosexual group to the parade. A number of other participant groups have also dropped out.

Boston parade had history of standing firm to Catholic values

Up until now, Boston has been the only St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the country not to cave in to pressure and allow homosexual groups to march. In 1995, after a huge legal battle with the Massachusetts liberal political establishment, the Allied War Veterans Council, which runs the Boston annual parade, won a 9-0 US Supreme Court decision giving them the right to exclude homosexual-themed groups – or anyone – from their parade.

And they’d held their ground. Last year, as MassResistance reported Boston Mayor Marty Walsh put enormous pressure on the Council to relent on their own, but they refused to give in. As expected, the Mayor and his political allies boycotted the parade.

But the Mayor, a former union organizer, knows a thing or two about pressure tactics. This year the Mayor’s increased pressure on the Council leadership was successful. But even then, the Council Commander only had a minority of the members supporting this. As we reported, they had to use dishonest and deceitful tactics to exclude the majority of members when they voted to allow the homosexual group OutVets to march in December. And they used the same tacts again in January when the majority tried ro orchestrate a re-vote.

Thus, the Mayor has now announced that he would be marching in the parade, has invited his political allies to march, and has become a big supporter of the event..

Major float and band from Catholic school pulls out of parade

For 25 years, the giant float of St. Patrick from the Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Still River, MA, along with the school’s band, has been the hallmark of the annual parade. Almost immediately after the December vote to allow the “gay” contingent, the school’s principal, Br. Thomas Dalton, made it clear that the school would pull out of the parade if that happened.

Br. Dalton later sent out a press release clearly stating his reasoning on the matter:

Catholics are forbidden to sponsor or even participate in an event which openly promotes unnatural and immoral behavior. The Church will never accept nor condone same sex marriage and the homosexual life style.

For 25 years the school has participated in the parade dedicated to Saint Patrick and believes that to have a float with his representation leading a group openly promoting and proud of its homosexual identity would draw down the ire of this great patron of the Boston Archdiocese. Saint Patrick stands with Saint Paul in condemning the sin of sodomy. The name of Saint Patrick should be dropped from the parade as he would have nothing to do with the likes of it today.”

According to news reports, several other scheduled participants of the parade have also dropped out, further dwindling the marchers. But the loss of the iconic St. Patrick float was unquestionably a loss to the Catholic character of the parade.

Knights of Columbus suddenly joins the parade

On Feb. 26, three weeks before the parade date, the State Deputy of the Knights, Russell Steinback, sent the following email to the K of C members:

Subject: FW: Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The State Board will have a float and will march in the Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday March 15th.   This will be a way for the Knights of Columbus to be recognized.

Anyone wishing to march with the Massachusetts State Council Knights of Columbus and the State Board is more than welcome to march but we need to know exactly how many will be marching to plan on logistics.   Please let the State Office know ASAP if you or your council (please specify the number) will be able to march with us.

To many, this sudden appearance seemed much too convenient to be a coincidence. Going back decades, no one could remember the Knights being in the parade at all. It seemed to have the fingerprints of the political establishment all over it, particularly the Mayor of Boston

Catholics across the state immediately began to call the State Office – and even Steinback’s home – to complain bitterly. But Steinback steadfastly refused to relent. And he fired back that no one was bothering to get his side of the story.

So on Monday, MassResistance phoned Russell Steinback and asked him about it.

The K of C talks to MassResistance

Steinback was adamant. He told us that it was all a coincidence. “The only reason that we’re marching is that it’s a great showcase for all the great works we do,” he said. He listed the charitable causes that the Knights are involved with, and that being in the parade was a way to attract more members. “I want people in Boston to know what we do. We want to raise membership. There’s no secret agenda,” he told us.

We asked him why he made the announcement just three weeks before the event. He said he had been thinking about it since July.

We asked him if he understood why so many Catholics are angry at him. “I don’t know,” he told us.

We read him Br. Dalton’s quote, “Catholics are forbidden to sponsor or even participate in an event which openly promotes unnatural and immoral behavior.”We asked him if he agrees with it.

“They have their Catholic beliefs and I have my beliefs,” Steinback answered. He wouldn’t elaborate beyond that. And he reiterated that he wasn’t changing his mind about the Knights of Columbus being in the parade.

Sure enough, on Wednesday evening we were notified that Steinbeck had sent out another email to his statewide members, again inviting them to come and march in the parade on Sunday – and to be sure and bring their families to this “family friendly” event!

Steinback has also posted a statement on their website about their participation in the parade, apparently as a result of the pressure they’ve already received.

The Catholic Action League fires back

C. J. Doyle of the Catholic Action League sent us the following statement, which summarizes the feelings and outrage of many, many religious Catholics who have become aware of this:

Whatever their motivations or pretentions, the State Council of the K of C is objectively rendering assistance, and providing aid and comfort to Mayor Walsh, the parade organizers, and most of all, the homosexual activist group OUTVETS, by perpetuating the illusion that the parade is still a Catholic friendly and family friendly event.

More treacherously, the K of C is undermining the admirable Catholic witness demonstrated by the faithful Catholics of Immaculate Heart of Mary School, who withdrew rather than march with homosexual militants.

The overt message of OUTVETS is that homosexual relations—including so-called same gender marriage—is not only morally acceptable, but something to be proud of. Their implicit message therefore is that Catholic moral teaching is nothing more than bigotry and prejudice.

The Knights are helping OUTVETS to spread their message by pretending nothing is wrong, and pretending there is nothing morally objectionable to a homosexual group exploiting a parade in honor of a Catholic saint to promote their anti-Christian agenda. Silence implies consent.

TAKE ACTION!

The parade is on Sunday. Time is short. In this time of moral crisis across the country, it’s necessary for good people to speak up.

The Catholic Action League (and MassResistance) are urging faithful Catholics and other believers everywhere to call and email the Knights of Columbus and Russell Steinback, the Deputy Commander, right away. They need to feel the heat. They need to be told this is not acceptable, says C.J. Doyle, head of the League.

There’s no question that something unusual is going on. Normally, the K of C are pretty well known for wanting to shy away from any controversy. Hopefully, your pressure will make a difference!
