Anti-Semitic Protestors Attempt to Breach White House Fence, Deface Historic Statues with No Consequences

“Allahu Akbar” chanted the army-sized crowd at the White House on Saturday afternoon, who cursed the U.S. president, waved the flag of a foreign adversary, and endeavored to breach the White House compound. Despite ubiquitous defacement of public property, attempted intrusions onto White House Grounds, and calls for genocide, law enforcement made only one arrest.

Tens of thousands — some unofficial reports estimate 100,000 — pro-Hamas demonstrators from all over the U.S. gathered near the White House on Saturday, denouncing President Biden’s show of support for Israel and demanding that he cut their army off at the ankles as they prepare to root Hamas militants out of northern Gaza. Some demonstrators carried signs implying they worked for Congress or the Biden administration.

The Palestinian national anthem blared at a massive rally in Freedom Plaza, southeast of the White House, site of the national World War I memorial.

“It is right to rebel! Israel can go to hell!” said one speaker, Marte White with Community Movement Builders, who insisted that Palestinians have a right to fight “by any means necessary … and I do mean any means necessary!” Another speaker, representing the U.S. Palestine Community Network’s Chicago Chapter, claimed, “Israel does not have the right to exist as a racist state.”

Nihad Awad, executive director of the Muslim Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR), threatened that Muslim Democrats will refuse to vote for Biden in 2024 if he fails to obtain a ceasefire. “No cease-fire, no votes!” chanted the crowd. “In November, we remember!”

“I’ve heard a lot of people in the states criticizing the way that Israel is going about this, but I haven’t heard those same people give any actual suggestions of what Israel should do,” war correspondent Chuck Holton, who is on the ground in the Middle East, said on “Washington Watch.” “And it makes one think that they just believe Israel ought to just lay down and die.”

“Israel is not disposed to do that in any way, shape or form,” Holton added. “The soldiers who are going to go do the fighting … keep saying, ‘Ceasefire? We haven’t even started fighting yet.’”

Although the protest was nominally anti-Israel, many of its attendees manifested a hatred toward Jews in general. As The Washington Post interviewed one anti-Israel Jewish New Yorker at the rally, they recorded, “a protester walked by and told him, ‘See you in hell.’”

After the rally, a large crowd moved to Lafayette Park, north of the White House, which was the site of nightly stand-offs between Black Lives Matter rioters and Secret Service police in the summer of 2020.

A demonstrator wearing a keffiyeh scarf climbed partway up the White House fence and waved a Palestinian flag above it. Other demonstrators, similarly garbed, stuck Palestinian flags through the fence and waved them from side to side.

The demonstrators demanded that President Biden force Israel to accept an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. However, their chants struck a most hostile and militant tone. They chanted, “Allahu akbar,” “F*** Joe Biden,” “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” and “Long live the Intifada.”

Demonstrators plastered the fence with posters depicting Gazan civilians who have died in the aftermath of Hamas’s October 7 terror attack on Israeli civilians. The posters provocatively described the victims as “Murdered by Israel,” despite evidence that Israel goes to great lengths to avoid civilian casualties, while Hamas actively places civilians in harm’s way. Some protestors taped a giant banner up to the White House fence, blocking the view of Secret Service officers on the north lawn, prompting them to momentarily step forward and tear the banner down while protestors shouted “shame” and cursed the officers.

The protestors smeared red paint on the White House fence and pushed on the gates. One reporter on the scene said, of all the protests he has observed, “this one was distinguished by the defacing of the gate and pushing on it. … When gates were swaying tonight, one protester said to me, ‘It’s going to be all over’ if they were to open. In the moment, it wasn’t hard to imagine hundreds going through the gate.”

Demonstrators mocked or defaced at least seven statues of influential figures in American history. To cheers and applause, one protestor, wearing either a grotesque mask or bizarre face paint, climbed onto a statue of Benjamin Franklin and draped it in a keffiyeh scarf. General John Pershing’s statue was accessorized with a keffiyeh armband, while youths hanging from his side posed with a Palestinian flag.

In Lafayette Park, protestors placed Palestinian flags on statues of Andrew JacksonCount Rochambeau, and the Marquis de Lafayette, whom they also covered with posters. Protestors graffitied at least four statues in Lafayette Park — General von Steuben, General Kosciuszko, Rochambeau, and Lafayette — with the message “Free Palestine,” which remained on the statues as of Monday afternoon.

Rochambeau’s statue, in the southwest corner of the park, was also graffitied with messages such as, “Stop genocide in Gaza, free Gaza, Palestine will be free, and F*** Joe Biden.”

Graffiti messages on other structures in Lafayette Park which remained until Monday included “Death to USA,” “Amerikkka = pigs,” “Destroy empires,” “Kos om Israel” [according to Google translate, Arabic for, “who is Israel?”], “Israel is a b****,” “T***** f*** [crude ways to describe people who identify as LGBT] 4 Palestine,” anarchist symbols, and, “Free Ireland.” Protestors also affixed stickers with messages including, “Community watch area, police not welcome” and “Every time media lies a neighborhood in Gaza dies.” Some of the messages were written in red paint, smeared to resemble blood.

Over an information board describing the history of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Executive Office Building, the word “Gaza” was sprayed in large, red letters.

The U.S. Secret Service and other law enforcement maintained a heavy presence near Lafayette Park on Monday, with an extra 40 police vans and SUVs parked in an area of Pennsylvania Avenue often open to pedestrian traffic. Police had completely blocked off the avenue in front of the White House, the apex of the protest, while crews with pressure washers were still employed cleaning off the White House fence.

The pro-Hamas protestors did not confine their destructive actions to the White House complex. Across 17th Street from the White House, demonstrators spray-painted “Gaza” on the windows and broke one. Despite the damage, the McDonalds was open for business on Monday.

Blocks away from the White House, protestors vandalized a bus stop with the messages, “Kill the empire” and “Free Palestine,” as well as stickers demanding, “Resist colonial power by any means necessary.”

The message echoes the words of senior Hamas official Ghazi Hamad who argued last month, “We are the victims of the occupation. Period. Therefore, nobody should blame us for the things we do. On October 7, October 10, October 1,000,000 — everything we do is justified.”

“For generations on our elite college campuses … we’ve been teaching young people to look at the world through the worldview of critical theory … that fundamentally sees the world through the lens of ‘oppressor’ and ‘oppressed,’ said David Closson, director of Family Research Council’s Center for Biblical Worldview, on “Washington Watch.” “Part of that also is this ideology of settler colonialism … this idea that the Jews, the Israelis, somehow don’t actually have a moral claim to their land, and because of that their enemies … can use any means whatsoever to evict them from the land.”

“We have now turned a corner into a place where we are kind of excusing, justifying, trying to understand mass rape, mass murder, putting babies in ovens, because the people who are doing it have been identified as the oppressed,” lamented Joseph Backholm, senior fellow for Biblical Worldview and Strategic Engagement at Family Research Council and guest host of “Washington Watch.”

“We saw this in the U.S. in the ‘Summer of Love’ of 2020, where we saw people rioting and looting and destroying their neighbors’ businesses,” Backholm continued. He referenced the infamous headline, “mostly peaceful protests,” which a mainstream media outlet ran in front of a burning building. When “we defined people and categorized them based on their skin color,” he said, a subtle effect was “changing the moral framework that we use to determine what is right and wrong.”

Protestors also tore down posters of the Israeli victims kidnapped by Hamas and replaced them with more “Murdered by Israel” posters. They placed posters and stickers on parking meters and utility boxes with messages such as, “Zionism is terrorism” and “There is only one solution: Intifada! Revolution!”

Protestors placed flyers on car windshields falsely claiming, “Palestinians in Gaza are facing genocide at the hands of the Israeli government, and the United States is funding it.” The flyer included a QR code and web address for New York City Democratic Socialists.

Despite the destructive actions of protestors, the response by law enforcement was extremely limited. D.C. Police said in a press release that only one person was arrested for Destruction of Property in the 700 block of 17th Street NW — this is the location of the vandalized McDonald’s. They were also “investigating acts of vandalism” to a metro station near the White House and “several police vehicles.”

Meanwhile, U.S. Secret Service officers made no arrests. “As of now, no arrests have been made by Secret Service personnel,” confirmed Secret Service communications chief Anthony Guglielmi. “The attempted gate trespass from earlier was handled without incident.” According to this statement, an “attempted gate trespass” is not an incident.

Under D.C. Code, it is unlawful “to write, mark, draw, or paint” without the owner’s consent on any public or private property, including statues, monuments, and fencing. The penalty for doing so is a fine up to $1,000 and “not less than $250,” as well as jail time up to 180 days. The penalty for breaking or destroying private property exceeding $1,000 is a fine up to $25,000 and imprisonment up to 10 years.

“I never envisioned we would see mobs at the gate of the White House chanting, ‘Allahu Akbar,’” said Family Research Council President Tony Perkins. U.S. officials have warned of a heightened risk of radical Islamist terror attacks inside the United States, due to the porous nature of the southern border. U.S. Border Patrol recently discovered an improvised explosive device (IED) at the southern border, and they have encountered 736 people on the U.S. terror watchlist this year.

Perkins warned that these left-wing protests are increasingly connected, hearkening back to the nightly BLM riots at the White House in the summer of 2020. Many of the pro-Palestinian protestors have been funded by left-wing not-for-profits that command millions of dollars. “We always treat these as a one-off. This is a march,” he said. After the summer of 2020, which led to repeated injuries of Secret Service officers, the White House installed an enormous iron fence around the compound, in evident anticipation of repeat occurrences.

But another feature struck Perkins as even more concerning. “The first thing that jumped out at me: no arrests. That’s amazing, when there were people who didn’t even step foot in the Capitol, who were arrested for conspiracy on January 6,” he pointed out. “I guarantee, if that were Moms for Liberty, they would have sent paddy wagon after paddy wagon.”

Days earlier, a White House spokesperson called anti-Semitic protests at college campuses “the definition of unacceptable.” When a much larger protest of the same type took place at the White House, law enforcement took minimal action to enforce infractions of either federal law or D.C. code.

Perkins warned that anti-Semitism is an early warning sign of religious persecution in general. “If we step aside, all hell will be unleashed on orthodox, biblical faith,” he warned.

However, Closson insisted that Christianity provides the only effective antidote to the moral relativism of critical theory. “It doesn’t matter your skin color. It doesn’t matter who you’re married to. [It] doesn’t matter — all these superficial categories. What matters is, there are things that are right, and there are things that are wrong,” he said. “And so, a return to understanding objective truth, objective morality — which again is a byproduct of a Christian worldview — that’s something we need to hold on to. That’s something the church needs to insist on.”

Christianity teaches that “even when you are legitimately a victim, you cannot do whatever you want,” Backholm agreed. “We must bless those who curse us, pray for those who spitefully use us. And of course, a big reason for that is the fact that Jesus was the greatest victim of all, yet still laid down his life for us.”

Nashville Police Chief Confirms Authenticity Of Leaked Shooter Manifesto Pages, Launches Investigation

Nashville Chief of Police John Drake confirmed the authenticity of the leaked pages of the Covenant Christian School shooter’s manifesto and announced an investigation into the “unauthorized release” of the documents.

Conservative political commentator Steven Crowder released three pages of the manifesto written by Audrey Hale, the now-deceased individual who shot and killed six people inside the Christian school in March. An official with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) fatally shot Hale on the second floor during an open fire.

Drake condemned the “unauthorized release” of the pages and vowed to “identify the person responsible” for the leak.

“I am greatly disturbed by today’s unauthorized release of three pages of writings from the Covenant shooter,” Drake said in a Monday statement. “This police department is extremely serious about the investigation to identify the person responsible. This action showed a total disregard for Covenant families, as well as the court system, which has control of the shooter’s journals at the present time due to litigation filed earlier this year.”

“It is now pending in Davidson County Chancery Court and the Tennessee Court of Appeals. We are not at liberty to release the journals until the courts rule. Our police department looks forward to the ultimate resolution of the litigation concerning the journals,” Drake said.

Crowder posted the three images to Twitter and read the words on his show, “Louder with Crowder,” early Monday. The first page, titled “DEATH DAY,” details Hales’ plan to open fire inside the school and create a “high death count.” On the next page, the shooter wrote, “Kill those kids!” and wrote about her plan to specifically kill the white children.

“Kill those kids! Those crackers,” an image of the page posted by Crowder reads. “Going to private fancy schools with those fancy kwackis + sports backpacks with their daddies mustangs + convertibles. Fuck you little shits. I wish to shoot you[r] weak ass dicks w/your mop yellow hair, wanna kill all you little crackers!!! Bunch of little faggots w/your white privileges fuck you faggots.”

The next page shows a schedule of the day leading up to the shooting, listing 12:33 p.m. as the time to “open fire” and then “die” soon after, according to a photograph posted by Crowder.

The MNPD initially told the Daily Caller and other outlets that it was unknown whether the pages were authentic or not, and were “aware” of a possible leak. The department said the images were not “crime scene images” in a Monday statement.

An attorney representing Hale’s parents said he was “not in a position” to confirm or deny the pages’ authenticity.

“We have never seen a manifesto at any time. We’re not in a position to authenticate these pieces of paper. We have absolutely not released anything, but we certainly did not release this,” David Raybin told WSMV4, an NBC local affiliate. “It’s inappropriate for me to make any further comment about it.”

Shortly after the shooting, authorities said Hale wrote a manifesto before carrying out the attack. The documents had not been publicly released since it is under ongoing investigation by the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU), a Nashville city council member told the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) in late March. The city council member assured the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) that the manifesto would eventually be released to the public.

Who Determines American Culture?

What comes to mind when you hear the phrase “American culture?” Do you have a positive reaction to the phrase or a negative one? Do you think about our culture in terms of our history or about the tendencies and values of the current generation? Whatever your reaction and whatever comes to mind, there are two facts about American culture that are undeniable: it is unique in the history of the world, and we are responsible for it.

I have spent the past year doing a deep dive into American history and the root causes of America’s moral decline. After such a journey, you might think I would be discouraged or outraged or both. To the contrary, I have come away from this year-long study more encouraged and inspired than ever! The reason for this renewal of hope is found in the fact that I have come to the clear realization that the solution to the moral decline and cultural anarchy we see all around us is more attainable than we have been led to believe.

In my new book titled “The Spiritual Price of Political Silence,” the reader will find a refresher course on the true history of the people of faith who came to these shores seeking freedom, refuge, and opportunity to worship according to the dictates of their own conscience.

It is hard to argue with the actual written words of historic figures, and yet those who have sought to destroy America and her culture have found great success in doing just that! From twisting motives to taking words out of context, the cultural Marxists have made deception under the guise of education a new art form. History books have been edited, facts have been removed or changed, and an unsuspecting American population has been fed lie after lie in our classrooms and institutions of higher learning for the past 50 years or more.

Yet, during this great erasure of facts and truth, the original documents and personal words have been recorded and preserved so that we might know the truth of our founding. Sadly, for all intents and purposes, those documents have been left untouched by the vast majority of students.

From the very beginning of this nation, going back to the landing of the Pilgrims at Plymouth, the migration of the Puritans of Massachusetts, and followed by the Quakers and William Penn, the permeating motivation for the earliest immigrants in coming to the shores of this land was to find a place where all people could enjoy the freedom of religion, the freedom of speech and the freedom of voluntary association. The power struggle over control of these freedom-seeking immigrants was an ongoing battle among the heads of the European nations which they had risked everything to escape. Thus, the resulting culture that formed was rooted in classical studies, a firm faith in biblical teachings, protection for individual liberties, and a fierce independence.

It has taken me over 15 years of engagement in both state and federal government to realize that politics is always downwind of culture, and in America, our unique culture rises and falls on the leadership or failure of the church and people of faith.

As the culture goes, so goes the government and, eventually, so goes policy that affects our children, our churches, our schools, and even our armed forces. To be completely blunt, the literal front lines in the battle for America can be found in our homes, our families, our communities, and our churches. Our culture and what it values starts with “We the people.”

If Americans are honest with themselves, they will have to admit that the elected leaders in their state houses and in Congress are only a reflection of the culture at large — a culture we have nurtured or allowed in our homes and our places of worship. The truth is, our elected officials are elected by “we the people” and they are a reflection of us, whether we like it or not.

If we are honest with ourselves, it would be wise to take a long, hard look in our political mirror. If we don’t like the culture that is being promoted by our school boards, or our county councils or in Washington, we must ask ourselves if we have done our due diligence on researching the character of those we have elected. Have we done some digging on their record in business, their life experiences, their community involvement, their social associations and their financial dealings?

If our elected leaders surprise us and turn out to be different than who thought they were, we have the responsibility to actively work to defeat them in the next election and find a better alternative. That is also part of our responsibility in preserving a culture of freedom. If we failed to do our research on the candidates and if we just accepted what they claimed during their campaigns, that is on us. The sad truth about political campaigns is that statistically, negative ads work. What does that say about us, as a nation? As a culture? If we believe the negative ads, paid for by Washington special interest groups, and fail to vet the candidates on our own, we should not be surprised when the people we elect disappoint us by succumbing to the pressure of those who paid for their campaigns.

Some might argue that Hollywood has played a big role in creating the current culture, and that they are probably the biggest influencer in our society. I would agree with that — to a point. Hollywood has had some influence on our culture, but they are also beholden to “we the people” as they are reliant on sales to keep producing their products.

As seen in recent years, Americans have the power to vote with their wallets, and Hollywood cannot function without money. Have you noticed that faith-based films have become more mainstream? The Christian music industry has grown tremendously as well. People of faith have supported faith-based films and entertainment to the point that Hollywood has taken notice and has almost been forced to produce more family-friendly content in recent years. Let’s be honest: Nothing speaks to the entertainment industry louder than the sound of money in the bank.

Of course, the other side to that proverbial coin is the fact that America is still the biggest consumer of the pornographic and sex trafficking industries, as well as sexually explicit TV shows and movies. Why? For the same reason. The market demand for them still exists. Which begs the question: Who is consuming such diabolical content? The answer is twofold. The demand is there because evil exists and men’s hearts are wicked, but unfortunately, that does not exclude those who claim to follow the teachings of the Bible.

Statistics show that addictions to pornography are a growing problem in the church-going population as well as the non-church going population. In a 2016 survey, the Barna Group found that although well below those who do not profess Christianity, four in 10 teen or young adult males in the church are “actively seeking out porn at least once or twice a week.”

We cannot blame politicians, elected officials, entertainers, producers, corporations, sports stars, or even our schools for the culture we see today. We only have ourselves to blame, and with even more access to more content anytime, anywhere, the church and our faith leaders must be bold about calling people to repentance.

Our culture begins in our homes, our churches, our schools, and our communities. We are the guardians of our culture, our freedoms, and, most of all, our children. God established three institutions, and each has its place: the family, the church, and the government. God gave us our children, and we are to be the faithful stewards of their minds and hearts. We are to be their life guides, to teach them the moral and natural laws of God. That was one of the main reasons cited by the Pilgrims for coming to these shores. They sought the freedom to exemplify a life of service to God and others to their children and to pass on that culture of freedom to future generations.

For almost 13 centuries, the dominant beliefs in the tenets of Christianity permeated the culture of Europe and beyond. Part of that dominant set of beliefs was the understanding that kings and rulers were still the servants of God and that God’s kingdom was above all earthly kingdoms and rulers. This foundational truth helped lead to movements like the Reformation and the Great Awakenings, which resulted in millions of people desiring to know more of God by reading His word in their own language.

When this happened, a new wave of devotion to God and the dictates of conscience emerged. A new understanding of personal liberty and personal responsibility before God began to spread. Soon tens of thousands of hard-working people were defying the combined dictates of governments and their state churches by refusing to follow the man-made rules of imposed religion, in order to follow their own conscience.

American culture is the most unique culture in the world. No other country has been called the “melting pot of the world,” and no other country has taken such diversity and created such a strong national unity around shared values and ideals. In order to understand the incredible responsibility and opportunity that is ours as Americans today, it is crucial to understand the origin of our unique culture and belief system. It is time that we correct the record for ourselves and for the next generation. It is time for a spiritual and cultural renewal of our Judeo-Christian founding. Knowing the factual history of our American culture which led to our unique values system will give us confidence to combat the new so-called “woke” culture all around us.

After more than a century of successes and failures in the experiment of self-government, the generation of Americans who formed the Constitution had a lot of examples and templates from which to draw. Because of that, American culture relies on the bedrock principles of representative, limited government, freedom of religion (not FROM religion), freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right to bear arms, the right to self-defense, freedom from search and seizure, the right to a fair trial of our peers, the assumption of innocence until proven guilty, and so much more. These principles were agreed upon after much debate, study, and the example of the colonial legislatures for over a century under British common law. In the end, the Founders agreed on the core principles that had been key to the success of guiding free societies under natural law. They identified that the source of all liberty is God, not the government.

Not only were people of faith an integral part of forming the American governmental structure, but our radically new form of government was built to rely on their continued involvement and leadership by people who held a deep faith in God.

To put it bluntly: the Framers of the Constitution were counting on you! Their confidence in the American people to preserve the gift of self-governance is the greatest gift they could have given us.

Be encouraged that there is a way to renew America and be advised that the way to renewal begins with you! Self-governance can be messy, ugly, and downright frustrating, but the beautiful hope that we still have today, even in our declining culture, is that the principles upon which our government is founded are timeless and unchanging. Truth is unchanging.

If we use the tools that are still at our disposal and if we arm ourselves with a deeper understanding of our system of checks and balances, we can turn our culture and our nation back to its founding ideals and renew its reliance on Divine Providence.

You Can’t Have Your Theocracy and Eat It Too

“Ah, thank God for Salon, the voice of reason,” said no one ever, and former “senior White House correspondent for Playboy” Brian Karem’s latest article there is demonstrative of why.

In a piece published Thursday and subtly, tastefully entitled “MAGA and Christian nationalism: Bigger threat to America than Hamas could ever be,” Karem argues that so-called Christian nationalists (by which his fustian smear piece makes clear he means any devout Christian elected to public office) pose a greater threat to the U.S. than Islamist terrorists like Hamas — you remember them, the little ragtag band who attacked Israel last month and slaughtered over 1,400 Israelis in a single day and have been torturing hostages every day since. No, Hamas is nothing more than a Middle Eastern bogeyman, Karem would have you believe. The real threat to the American way of life is that devious religion founded on the principle of self-sacrificial love: Christianity.

In an interesting rhetorical choice, Karem chooses to begin his argument by noting that “the FBI issued a warning that the chance of staged terrorist attacks in the United States has grown since the war began in Gaza.” He further mocks Fox News’s White House correspondent Peter Doocy for asking national security officials if they’ve considered the possibility of a terrorist entering the U.S. via the nation’s wide-open southern border. “Obviously they have,” write Karem, “or the FBI wouldn’t have issued the warning.”

For a few paragraphs, Karem does some adroit fund-the-war-in-Ukraine cheerleading, somehow manages to praise Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) for betraying his voter base and shipping American tax dollars overseas, and speculate whether or not Senators Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) or Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-La.) are “fans” of Russian president Vladimir Putin — all of this amidst a smattering of pop culture references of which I’m sure Karem is proud, and equally sure he shouldn’t be.

Then he reaches the crux of his argument: “While the world burns, Johnson and the MAGA wing of the Republican Party … seem determined to convert the U.S. into a theocracy run by people who will thump you with the Bible, but haven’t read much of it.” This coming from the former White House correspondent for Playboy.

“Lord, how they love to preach fire and brimstone. But the Sermon on the Mount and the Beatitudes? Forget it,” Karem opines. “Not a chance. They’ve embraced only the Old Testament angry God and the apocalyptic parts of Revelation brought on by ergot poisoning.” Most devout Christians are no doubt familiar with this age-old approach: the admitted non-believer who doesn’t read his Bible cherry-picks a handful of Scripture passages that, taken out of context, he thinks prove his point, and proceeds to berate the Christian for failing to live up to his arbitrary standard of Christianity based on an English translation of an out-of-context Bible verse, or two, if he’s feeling particularly cocky.

Karem would do well to remember that the Beatitudes include “Blessed are the pure in heart” (Matthew 5:8) and “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you for my sake” (Matthew 5:11), which is exactly what the leftist-dominated media, including Salon, has been doing to Mike Johnson, ridiculing him for his Christian faith, his fidelity to his wife, and even his adoption of an African-American teenager.

In classic anti-Christian form, Karem disregards roughly 2,000 years’ worth of theological scholarship, debate, and clarification to roughly cite a Bible verse and implicitly declare himself a knowledgeable arbiter of all things Christian. He claims that Johnson and his MAGA ilk “want no separation of church and state. They want an isolationist country surrounded by walls and dedicated to the proposition that the First Amendment guarantees them the right to worship any way they want — while forcing the rest of us to worship the way they choose.” He adds that “modern Republicans seem hellbent on returning to the Middle Ages, driven there by the first Christian nationalist House speaker.”

Of course, Christians do support the First Amendment. It’s the legal mechanism that protects our right to worship the Triune God and to live so we that might be more and more like Him, in the hopes of one day being united wholly with Him in Heaven. While Karem rightly notes that the U.S. Constitution forbids “respecting an establishment of religion,” he wrongly interprets this to mean a “separation of church and state.”

The leftist’s or progressive’s notion of the constitutional amendment guaranteeing freedom of religion seems to demand that lawmakers leave their religious beliefs — which, for the devoutly religious, are the very core of their being and the moral fabric upon which they base their every decision — at the door of the statehouse or capitol building. At no point anywhere in the U.S. Constitution is this explicated or even implied. If it were, a substantial sum of religious Americans of all creeds would be barred from public service, leaving the running of the nation to those with, essentially, no beliefs beyond the merely material world.

As the great author C.S. Lewis elegantly elucidated in his book “The Abolition of Man,” those who do not profess some kind of eternal or religious belief essentially have no beliefs, and therefore have no basis for forming value judgments. It is the eternal, the immutable which is the standard against which all things are measured, which serves as the source of value itself. Without such a belief, there can be no deciding this policy or that is “good” for the nation or “bad” for the country because there is no basis for declaring anything “good” or “bad.” Lewis, of course, explains the concept far more authoritatively and far more intelligently than I, and as I’m sure there would be some copyright issue with quoting the entirety of his book here, I strongly recommend you read (or re-read) it.

Back to Karem’s postulation that Christian nationalism is a bigger threat to America than Islamist terrorists. Citing Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), a rabid abortion advocate whom Karem classifies as “a constitutional scholar,” the Salon columnist quips, “The framers taught us that the biggest threat to religious freedom comes from theocrats who try to establish their own sect over everyone else.” Karem adds, “None of that matters to the Republicans. They revel in their own chicanery. They despise free thought and independence…” Nevermind that the vast majority of censorship efforts come from the Left, never mind that the preponderance of America’s founders were Bible-believing Christians, nevermind that “free thought and independence” in America were pioneered by those who put their faith in Someone other than the president or their local congressmen, nevermind that God Himself is the source (and, indeed, summit) of freedom and independence.

If Christian conservatives seem “hellbent on returning to the Middle Ages,” then Karem (and many a leftist like him) is “hellbent” on proliferating a self-defeating argument. Anti-Christian leftists deride “theocracy,” while simultaneously insisting that Christians aren’t being properly Christian. Leftists jettison the bulk of the Christian moral code and stick to the platitude “Be nice to people,” which Christ notably never uttered. Leftists fear a Christian “theocracy,” but also try to tell Christians we’re doing theocracy wrong. Which one is it, Mr. Karem? Is Christianity a violent, threatening, oppressive religion that cannot be tolerated openly in the public square? Or is it a peaceful belief proclaiming niceness and tolerance to all men? It can’t be both.

And let the record reflect that at no point does Karem address how Christian nationalists might launch an attack on America that slaughters over 1,400 in a single day, nor which book of the Bible condones taking and torturing hostages, nor indeed where in Scripture Christ promised his disciples any number of virgin-afterlife-brides in exchange for suicide bombings. At the end of the day, Hamas and other Islamist terrorist organizations pose an infinitely greater threat to America than devout Christians striving for the good of the nation.

Article In Qatari Daily: Israel’s Demise Is A Divine Promise

Qatar | Special Dispatch No. 10940

In an October 20, 2023 article in the Qatari daily Al-Arab, journalist Mansour Al-Mutlaq wrote that “what is happening in Palestine” (i.e., Hamas’ October 7, 2023 large-scale terrorist attack on Israel and the war that broke out in its wake) is the fulfillment of Allah’s words in Surah 17 of the Quran. Some Muslims interpret certain verses in this surah as conveying a divine promise regarding Palestine: the Jews will come from all over the world to settle in Palestine, and will sow corruption there and gain power, but will ultimately be defeated by the servants of Allah who will humiliate them and recapture the Al-Aqsa mosque. Based on this interpretation, Hamas officials have envisioned a war against Israel called “the Promise of the Hereafter,” involving the Palestinians and other Arab countries and organizations, who will together eliminate Israel. [1] Al-Mutlaq expresses hope that Allah’s promise for the defeat of the Jews in Palestine will come to pass in the near future.

It should be noted that Qatar has for years financed Hamas’ military buildup and harbored its leaders. Qatar is also enabling Hamas’ current war against Israel. Hamas’ leaders are managing this war from Doha and conveying their messages via Qatar’s Al-Jazeera television channel, while the Qatari media expresses unreserved support for Hamas and its terrorist actions.[2]

The following are translated excerpts from Al-Mutlaq’s article:[4]

“The Arabs are stricken with sorrow about what is happening in Palestine, [but] at the same time hope has been revived, for the words of Allah, may He be exalted, have come true: ‘And We decreed for the Children of Israel in the Book: You will surely work corruption in the land twice, and you will ascend to great heights. So, when it was time to fulfil the promise for the first of these, We sent against you some servants of Ours possessed of great might in war, and they penetrated the innermost parts of your dwellings, and it was a promise fulfilled. Then We gave you a turn against them, and aided you with wealth and children, and made you larger in numbers (Quran 17:4-6).’

“According to my understanding of these verses, and on the basis of what religious scholars say, the past and the present events are nothing but divine wisdom that Allah articulated [there], in Surat Al-Israh [Surah 17 of the Quran]. If the promise regarding the first time has already been fulfilled, as the verse states (‘it was a promise fulfilled’),  then the promise regarding the second and last time is ‘the other promise,’  which Allah explains in detail [in the next verse of the surah]: ‘Now, if you do good, it is for the sake of your own souls; and if you commit evil, it will only harm yourselves. So, when the time comes for the other promise, they will cover your faces with shame and they will enter the Mosque as they entered it the first time, and they will utterly destroy all that they conquered (Quran 17:7).’

“This means that the Muslims will enter the temple in Jerusalem [i.e., Al-Aqsa] again,  and the loftiness of this sinful entity [Israel] that worked corruption in the land will come to an end. This is a divine promise which will inevitably be fulfilled.

“In spite of the tragedies and the deep grief for the martyrs of Palestine, I am hopeful, because I realize that we are in the last phase of the gradual divine plan that threatens those who work corruption in the land. For Allah says in His Book, ‘And when the promise of the Hereafter comes to pass, We shall bring you all together’ (Quran 17:104).

“Everyone knows that the Children of Israel were scattered among many nations on earth and lived in many countries across the world. There was almost no country without a Jewish neighborhood or a Jewish colony until the so-called Balfour Declaration, which promised to establish a national home for the Jews.

“This is a fulfilment of His words, ‘and when the promise of the Hereafter comes to pass, We shall bring you all together.’  This is what we now see in the land of Palestine, since ‘We shall bring you all together’ means as a mixed assembly, a blend of all sorts: Jews from Arab countries, from Europe, from Asia and from other places.

“What now remains [to be seen] is the timing of this promise, which, I hope, will be soon, for Allah never breaks His promise.”

How To Rescue The American Hostages As Quickly As Possible

QatarPalestine | MEMRI Daily Brief No. 539

In the so-called negotiations to free the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza, Qatar is serving Hamas. In fact, Qatar is Hamas and is not an honest broker. The hostages guarantee Hamas members’ lives; thus, they aren’t interested in releasing Israeli hostages, just Americans – and Russians, who will be freed under pressure from Russian President Putin, to whom Hamas owes a lot.

Hamas murdered at least 32 Americans on October 7, and kidnapped at least 13. How can these American hostages be freed? Certainly not by pleasing the Qataris, who are demanding, and receiving, constant praise from the Americans.

The release of the American hostages will be achieved in precisely the opposite way: through pressuring Qatar.

There are problems, though. For years, U.S. administrations, including this one and the previous one, have been aligned with Qatar.

In order to save the hostages, we must first set the record straight. Qatar has been playing a deadly double game with the U.S. for many years. It supports all Islamist terrorist organizations (ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Taliban, Hamas, and Hezbollah). Worst of all, in 1996, it hid future 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM) in Doha, and when the FBI came to arrest him, informing only the Qatari Emir, KSM disappeared within hours. Richard Clarke, adviser to two U.S. Presidents, attested to this in his book and in the media.

Many Americans believe that they owe Qatar for its hosting of the U.S. CENTCOM base. The truth is precisely the opposite: It is Qatar that owes the U.S., for locating this base there. Without this base’s presence in the country, Qatar would disappear within less than a week – its neighbors would eat it up.

A single statement by a U.S. Department of Defense official, about relocating – or even considering relocating – this base from Qatar to another country that is not a state sponsor of terrorism is all it would take to get the American hostages released. Even indicating that the U.S. has other options besides Qatar would do it.

The Qataris would have Hamas quickly dispatching the Americans on a bus to freedom, no ceasefire required. And this is what the American families of the hostages should be demanding from their members of Congress.

Qatar exists today only because the American administrations have accepted their double game. Criticized for hosting Hamas commanders in Doha, the Qatari prime minister hastened to say that it was the Americans who asked Qatar to bring them there. This may be true; American administrations are capable of damaging their own interests. But America should now ask Qatar to expel the Hamas commanders – or, better yet, extradite them to the U.S. to stand trial for murdering Americans.

To the families of the hostages, I say: The American administration will do none of this. Like its predecessors, this administration is too closely linked to Qatar’s interests.

But the families are not. They can raise hell for the release of their loved ones – in media, in Congress, and by demonstrating in front of the Embassy of Qatar on M Street in Washington, D.C. Qatar is extremely and incredibly sensitive to being exposed in any way as a terror-sponsoring state.

Qatar knows what it would mean for it to be defined as what it is: It means being wiped off the map. Qatar supports Hamas, but it will not commit suicide for it. Show Qatar where this support is taking it, and it will bring about the release of the hostages – because Qatar is Hamas’s lifeline and Hamas will do Qatar’s will.

Just one demonstration in front of the Qatari Embassy, with posters stating that Qatar is a state sponsor of terrorism, will prompt Qatar to get the American hostages released.

With regard to the Israeli hostages, the Israeli government has an acute problem. Over the last decade, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has allowed Qatar to funnel $1.5 billion to Hamas, and those funds built Hamas’ military force.

Netanyahu has the blood of 1,400 murder victims on his hands.

He will not confront Qatar because that would be self-incriminating – because he would then be asked how he allowed $1.5 billion to be transferred by an enemy – Qatar – to Hamas.

Netanyahu even blocked the closure of the Israel office of the Qatar/Hamas megaphone Al-Jazeera TV – a move that was approved even by Israeli legal authorities keen to preserve media and human rights. Al-Jazeera constantly endangers Israeli soldiers, serving Hamas both ideologically and militarily. Netanyahu’s blocking of this closure is a betrayal of his own soldiers.

Israeli families, like their American counterparts, can act independently of their government. In fact, their doing so would give the Israeli government an alibi – it’s not us, the Israeli government, attacking you, Qatar, it’s the families; we cannot control them because we are a democratic state.

The families can appeal to parliaments in every country to declare Qatar a state sponsor of terrorism – there’s ample proof of that, including lawsuits underway in the U.S. and Europe. They should ask states like the Czech Republic, whose policies and principles are admirable, to take the case against Qatar to the International Criminal Court (ICC) on their behalf. They should go to Germany, that owes the Jewish state so much, and ask it to take the case to the ICC. At the very least, they can ask Germany to give the hostages German passports, like Raoul Wallenberg did in World War II.

Needless to say, advertisements in newspapers exposing Qatar for what it is, along with Congressional hearings like in 2017, and divestment from Qatari businesses such as luxury hotels, can also help with regard to all the hostages, of all nationalities.

But this U.S. administration must rescue its own citizens – and pressuring Qatar will achieve this easily.

VIDEO: Muslim Woman Jokes About ‘Seasoning’ the Israeli Baby Baked in an Oven

Who says Muslims don’t have a sense of humor? In France, Warda Anwar posted a video on Instagram in which she discussed the Israeli baby baked alive by Hamas murderers at Kibbutz Kfar Aza on October 7. Did the “cook” use salt, pepper, a bit of thyme, she wondered, and “what fat did they roast it in?” And what were the side dishes that accompanied the main dish — the traditional pommes frites, with ketchup and mayonnaise as condiments, or something else?

More on this surpassingly evil young woman and her sense of humor can be found here: “France Takes Legal Action Against Woman Joking About Jewish Baby Cooked in an Oven: ‘Did they Use Salt, Pepper, Thyme, what Fat Did They Roast It In’ (Video),” by Amy Mek, RAIR Foundation, November 4, 2023:

A recent Instagram video, posted by an individual using the pseudonym ‘Haneia Nakei’ but identified as Warda Anwar, has sparked outrage and condemnation. The footage contained offensive jokes about a Jewish baby allegedly burned in an oven by Muslim terrorists during the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin has taken legal action in response to this disturbing content, fueling a broader discussion about freedom of speech and the efforts of left-wing governments to restrict it.

The video featured “Haneia Nakei” [the social media alias used by Warda Anwar] jokingly discussing the recent murder of a baby, humorously speculating about the “accompaniments” for the baby’s leg, and even facetiously declaring, “Each time I come across the story of the baby that was put in the oven. I wonder if they put salt pepper, did they add thyme, and what (fat) did they roast it in? And what were the side dishes… You don’t ask yourself the question? I don’t know. The side dish to this baby leg was just a classic plate of fries with a ketchup and mayonnaise. And we marinated it in salt, thyme, and a barbecue sauce, and paprika. Not bad! I think it’s a rather nice menu!” These highly insensitive remarks have provoked widespread outrage by non-Muslims and pro-Israel supporters.

The offensive video prompted swift condemnation from many leaders, including the Israeli ambassador to France, who strongly denounced the “filthy denialist and antisemitic remarks of the young woman.” The Israeli embassy issued a statement calling for the removal of “Warda Anwar” (a.k.a. Haneia Nakei) from social media platforms, such as Instagram and TikTok. The video made light of a grave incident during the Israel-Hamas conflict when Hamas executed over 1,400 people, including babies, pregnant women, and elderly individuals, in a barbaric manner.

An Israeli first responder to the October 7 Islamic terror attack reported that Hamas terrorists roasted a baby in an oven in shocking video testimony. Asher Moskowitz of the United Hatzalah first responder group published a video of himself speaking to a camera, delivering his eyewitness account.

In it, he claims he saw the remains of a baby who had been baked to death in an oven at Kibbutz Kfar Aza, where more than 100 civilians were killed

The gravity of the woman’s video led to a significant response from the French government. Minister Gérald Darmanin announced on November 3 that he had referred the case to the national prosecutor’s office in Paris, invoking “Article 40 of the Criminal Code.” This action raises important questions about the boundaries of free speech in France, as many argue that such measures may infringe on the principle of freedom of expression.

The woman behind the offensive video, “Haneia Nakei” [Warda Anwar], now faces potential legal consequences. The referral to the national prosecutor’s office means that the legal authorities will review the case to determine whether her comments violated any laws, such as those related to France’s hate speech or incitement to violence. If her actions are found to have breached these laws, she could face criminal charges, fines, or other legal penalties.

Is it conceivable that this kind of grotesque and evil hilarity would not be considered hate speech? It makes light of the murder of a Jewish baby. And think of all the jokes that will now be circulating in “can-you-top-this” competitions on social media, possibly about the kinds of mutilations — the eyes gouged out, the genitalia cut off, the breasts sliced off — that the Israeli victims suffered that day.

The incident highlights the persistent contentious issue of content moderation on social media platforms. It emphasizes the various ways governments exert influence on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat and the increasing pressure placed on them to take action against what governments consider “hate speech” and “offensive” content. Notably, the Israeli embassy has explicitly called for the removal of Warda Anwar’s accounts from these platforms.

Can there be any doubt that Warda Anwar should not just have her accounts removed from social media, but also should be prosecuted for hate speech, and receive not only a stiff fine, but also a prison term, where behind bars (let her sentence be as long as the law allows, and ideally one to be served in solitary confinement), she can indulge her sense of humor to her heart’s content, telling her thigh-slapping jokes to her only audience, the four walls of her cell?

Hamas Had Planned Massacre During Passover But Iran Forced Delay Until They Got Biden’s $6 Billion

Hamas‘s mass infiltration and massacre of Israelis on October 7 was originally intended to take place during last Passover‘s Seder meal — large gatherings make it easier to slaughter whole families and large groups, all at once. Always a religious holiday because this is a holy war.
Iran forced the delay.

According to information learned by Israeli interrogators of the October 7 terror perpetrators, the original plan for the attack by Palestinians was delayed by Iran (who is known to fund Hamas). Why? Because, it’s is surmised, Biden was expected to give Iran $6 BILLION and Iran didn’t want to lose its payout. Once that was confirmed, Iran gave the Palestinians a green light.

Iran financed the slaughter.

Marina Medvin, “Between choosing to fund both Iran and the Palestinian Authority (which pays Palestinian terrorist families a stipend when they die killing Jews), the Biden administration is hands-down the most terrorist-friendly administration of all time. No one has suffered more for Biden’s presidency than the Israelis and whichever unfortunate souls were visiting the country at the time of the attacks. Absolutely tragic. And if this war grows larger, then maybe the world. I hope that doesn’t happen.”

Hamas planned for massacre during Passover, Iran forced delay – report

The report noted that the information was uncovered during the interrogation of Hamas terrorists who participated in the October 7 massacre.

By: Jerusalem Post, November 5, 2023:

Hamas’s mass infiltration and massacre of Israelis on October 7 was originally intended to take place during last Passover’s Seder meal, Israeli journalist Ben Caspit reported on Sunday evening.

As per the report, Iran decided to delay the organized assault on civilians to Simchat Torah due to reasons that are unclear. However, Caspit speculated, it could have been delayed due to informal negotiations with the United States which led to $6 billion being freed up for Iran in September.

The report noted that the information was uncovered during the interrogation of Hamas terrorists who participated in the October 7 massacre.

Further, Caspit reported that the October 7 date was chosen partly due to its proximity to the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War.

‘Answer The Question’: Sparks Fly As Trump Spars With Judge In NYC Fraud Case

Former President Donald Trump was told not to make “speeches” soon after taking the stand Monday to testify during his New York civil fraud trial.

Judge Arthur Engoron reminded the former president to stay on topic and told his lawyer “this is not a political rally,” according to The Hill. His sons and co-defendants, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., testified in the trial last week.

“I’m sure the judge will rule against me because he always rules against me,” Trump said in response to a question about his role in preparing financial statements, according to CNN.

“You can attack me, you can do whatever you want, but answer the question,” Engoron said, per the outlet.

Judge Arthur Engoron ruled before the trial started that Trump and his business exaggerated his net worth and assets, deceiving banks and insurance companies. Democratic Attorney General Letita James, who brought the case against Trump, is seeking to prevent him from doing business in the state and secure $250 million in damages.

Trump argued during his testimony that the New York Attorney General’s office underestimated Mar-a-Lago’s value. He said the value of his “brand” alone would have increased the value of his properties, according to The Hill.

“If I wanted to build up the statement, like you said I did before you found out just how rich we are, I would’ve added brand value here and I would’ve increased it by tens of millions of dollars,” Trump said, per CNN.

Engoron told Trump’s lawyer Chris Kise to “control” his client.

“I would think, respectfully — of all witnesses — your honor would want to hear everything this witness has to say,” Kise said, per The Hill. Engoron responded that he did “not want to hear everything this witness has to say.”

“I beseech you to control him if you can,” Ergoron said, according to CNN. “If you can’t I will. I will I excuse him and draw every negative inference that I can.”

Trump also said during testimony that the trial was “very unfair.”

“I hope the public is watching,” Trump said, per The Hill.

Trump Jr. testified Thursday that he relied on the company’s accountants, according to CBS News.

“These people had an incredible, intimate knowledge and I relied on them,” he said, per the outlet.

Engoron issued a gag order against Trump early October after he made a post on Truth Social referring to Allison Greenfield, Engoron’s clerk, as the “girlfriend” of Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. Since then, he’s issued $5,000 and $10,000 fines against Trump for violating the order and expanded it to prevent his attorneys from making comments referring to “confidential communications” between him and his staff.

This is a breaking news story and will be updated.

U.S. Senate Examines Terror Threat Resulting from Open Borders

Last Tuesday, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC) held a hearing entitled, “Threats to the Homeland” where committee members pressed Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on the disastrous effects of his open-borders policies.

In September, Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 came to a close, marking the highest border encounter numbers on record, with more than 3.2 million aliens apprehended by Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Under Mayorkas’ three-year tenure, over 7.5 million illegal aliens have been encountered by CBP, and at least 1.7 million known gotaways have evaded our border agents. Secretary Mayorkas confirmed last week that over 600,000 aliens were known gotaways in FY23 alone.

Many committee members raised concerns over the skyrocketing number of suspected terrorists caught crossing the border, and national security threats who may have slipped through the cracks. There was a massive uptick in encounters of aliens on the terrorist watchlist apprehended at the border in 2023, with 564 encountered by the Office of Field Operations (OFO) at our ports of entry and 172 encountered by Border Patrol attempting to illegally enter the country. Border Patrol has seen the largest uptick in encounters with aliens on the terrorist watchlist under Mayorkas. When pressed by Senator Marshall (R-Kan.) on whether any of the aliens granted asylum had ties to hostile terrorist groups, Mayorkas refused to confirm how many of these dangerous individuals had been released.

Senator Johnson (R-Wis.) argued that the increased number of Special Interest Aliens (SIAs) from potentially hostile nations filtering into the country puts American lives at risk and makes the task of protecting the homeland more challenging. While CBP has not released official numbers since 2019, numbers internally reported by CBP have revealed that over 73,000 SIAs were encountered by Border Patrol agents between October 2021 and October 2023. Thousands of these SIAs are from countries like Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, and Lebanon.

Senators also pressed Mayorkas on the increased amount of unaccompanied alien children (UACs) crossing the borders. Under Mayorkas, in FY22 and FY23 the number of UACs encountered attempting to enter the country soared, reaching more than four times the total from FY20 in each year. During his questioning, Senator Hawley (R-Mo.), expressed concern over a New York Times report revealing that DHS and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) have lost track of 85,000 UACs. When asked if DHS’ had begun any operations to recover the missing children, Secretary Mayorkas attempted to shift blame to HHS, and accused the Senator of “conflating issues.”

As detailed by FAIR, Secretary Mayorkas has a long track record of putting an open-borders agenda before the safety of the American people.  That record was on full display last week, and without any meaningful reform to bolster enforcement efforts, the border crisis will continue to exacerbate threats to the homeland.

VIDEOS: Survivors recount what happened on Oct. 7th at Kibbutz Alumim during Hamas’ attack

Sarit Kurtzman lived with her husband and 14-month-old daughter on Kibbutz Alumim, just four kilometers from the Gaza border. While they’re used to the sounds of rockets, planes, and tanks, the sounds they heard on October 7th were unlike anything they’d heard before.

For 26 hours, they hid in their safe room as terrorists infiltrated their Kibbutz and wreaked havoc on all that they knew. Sarit tells her brave and miraculous story of survival with tremendous strength and faith.

Avida Bachar managed to survive the massacre in Be’eri with his daughter, but lost his wife and son.

In a heart-wrenching interview from the hospital, Bachar spoke about survival and loss, “The terrorists saw my wife moving and shot her. I told my daughter – “Mommy doesn’t hurt anymore, Carmel is now in a better place.”

Nashville Police Department Releases Statement Addressing Alleged School Shooter Manifesto

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) said Monday the three images alleged to be part of the Christian Covenant School shooter’s manifesto are not “crime scene images.”

Conservative political commentator Steven Crowder posted photographs of three pages which he alleged are part of a manifesto written by the now-deceased Audrey Hale, who killed six people inside the Covenant School with a firearm in Nashville, Tennessee, back in March. An officer killed Hale as she continued opening fire on the second floor of the building.

“The MNPD is in communication with the Metropolitan Department of Law as an investigation, begun this morning, continues into the dissemination of three photographs of writings during an on-line discussion about Covenant School. The photographs are not MNPD crime scene images,” the statement reads.

Authorities confirmed they discovered a manifesto written by Hale in which she had allegedly planned the attack for several weeks. Following the shooting, authorities obtained the manifesto, which is under an ongoing investigation by the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU).

The MNPD told the Daily Caller earlier Monday that they currently “don’t know” whether the three pages are authentic.

“I don’t know at this time,” a spokeswoman told the Daily Caller via phone call in response to whether they could confirm the authenticity of the pages. A spokesperson later told the Caller they had no update on the information as the department is still looking into the matter.

“The police department has been in contact with a representative of Covenant families,” the statement continues. “Police department counselors are available to assist them in coping with the emotional trauma caused by the dissemination.”

A police spokeswoman also told Fox News they are “aware” of a possible leak of the manifesto. David Raybin, an attorney representing Hale’s parents, said he could not confirm the pages’ authenticity, according to WSMV4, a local NBC affiliated outlet.

“We have never seen a manifesto at any time. We’re not in a position to authenticate these pieces of paper. We have absolutely not released anything, but we certainly did not release this,” Raybin said. “It’s inappropriate for me to make any further comment about it.”

Crowder posted photos of a notebook, in which the first page was headlined “DEATH DAY,” where it describes the writer’s excitement to shoot people inside the school and have a “high death count.” The next alleged page reads “kill those kids!” at the top, followed by “those crackers,” a derogatory term for white people.

“Kill those kids! Those crackers,” the page posted by Crowder reads.

The next alleged page shows a schedule of the day leading up to the shooting, listing 12:33 p.m. as the time to “open fire” and then “die” soon after, according to the photograph posted by Crowder.

Shortly after the shooting, authorities revealed that Hale was a female who identified as a male and worked as an artist. She had bought seven firearms legally despite medical professionals’ concerns about her mental state, and law enforcement previously said they would have confiscated her firearms if they had been made aware of the concerns.

Nashville Metro Police Department told the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) in late March that they were not publicly releasing the manifesto due to an “open investigation.” The BAU was investigating the manifesto that had been previously reported to have “maps” and “writings” detailing Hale’s plan to shoot up the building.

A Nashville city council member assured the DCNF that the manifesto would eventually be released to the public.

Axelrod Questions if It Is ‘Wise’ for Joe Biden to Run in 2024

In reaction to the latest New York Times/Siena poll over the weekend, showing former President Trump leading Joe Biden in five out of six key swing states, CNN political analyst David Axelrod said the President needs to decide if it is “wise” for him to run as the Democrat nominee in the 2024 presidential race, asking whether doing so is in Biden’s best interest or the country’s.

“It’s very late to change horses; a lot will happen in the next year that no one can predict & Biden’s team says his resolve to run is firm. He’s defied CW before but this will send tremors of doubt thru the party–not ‘bed-wetting,’ but legitimate concern,” Axelrod said.

“The greatest concern is that his biggest liability is the one thing he can’t change. Among all the unpredictables there is one thing that is sure: the age arrow only points in one direction,” Axelrod continued, arguing laughably that Biden is correct to be “proud” of his accomplishments.

Axelrod also made sure to smear Biden’s popular opponent Trump as “a dangerous, unhinged demagogue whose brazen disdain for the rules, norms, laws and institutions or democracy should be disqualifying.”

“But the stakes of miscalculation here are too dramatic to ignore,” he warned. “If he continues to run, he will be the nominee of the Democratic Party. What he needs to decide is whether that is wise; whether it’s in HIS best interest or the country’s?”

I think we all know the answer to that.

Axelrod quickly cultivated a reputation for his aggressive use of negative messaging to discredit his clients’ political rivals. A Chicago Magazine profile from December 1987 dubbed Axelrod a “Hatchet Man” who was ever-prepared to “blast the dickens” out of an opponent. Reflecting Axelrod’s constancy in this regard, a Tribune profile two decades later described him as a “ferocious” competitor who was unafraid to use “venom” to poison the campaigns of rivals, or “brass knuckles” to “bludgeon” his foes…

War of the worldviews: Science as a political tool

Is science as objective as we might like to think? Not necessarily. As I discovered when writing my new book Hitler’s & Stalin’s Misuse of Science: When Science Fiction Was Turned Into Science Fact by the Nazis and the Soviets, the scope for deliberate misuse of science for political ends is large indeed.

The Nazis and Soviets are indelibly associated in the public mind with all kinds of often rather unpleasant forms of pseudoscience, from bogus fascist concepts about human genetics which led to the mechanised murder of six million, to equally fake Marxist notions about plant genetics whose misguided agricultural application starved millions more.

But, as I show, there were also far, far weirder such ideas abroad in the 20th century’s twin worst dictatorships too, albeit much less well-known. Was homosexuality a transmissible disease? Were stars a fake concept? Was chemistry inherently Communist? The answer to these questions was, of course, ‘no’.

But under totalitarian rule, this fact was frequently irrelevant. What really mattered was what the answer to these questions was politically, not factually: and the official answer to each of the above was often thought to be ‘yes’. To disagree could easily be considered a crime not only against science, but, far worse, also against the State.

People in the West today tend to look back on such absurdist horrors as mere cautionary tales of the past, like lurid tales about medieval witch-burnings or the beheading of heretics. They couldn’t happen over here anew today, in our own contemporary advanced liberal Western democracies like the United States, Great Britain and Australia, could they? I’m afraid, as my book conclusively demonstrates, they already have – and here are just a few recent examples.

History repeats itself

Not long after the end of the Cold War, a new front suddenly opened up within the West’s replacement internal conflict of opposing political cultures – the Great Map War of 1991. The so-called ‘problem’ centred upon the standard global map known as the ‘Mercator Projection’, after the 1569 chart’s original creator, the supposedly depraved white Belgian racist Gerardus Mercator (1512-94) – the very man after whom this very website is now named.

Due to arcane technical reasons, the Mercator Projection does not depict landmasses by their actual true size-ratios to one another, with nations near the equator, like those in black-majority Africa, appearing smaller relative to the (currently) majority-white nations of Europe. Evidently, this was racist, certain terminally over-sensitive left-wingers thought, so an alternative map, the ‘Peters Projection’, was devised by morally superior German historian Arno Peters (1916-2002) to counter such imperialist “European arrogance”, making Africa look larger.

The US National Council of Churches, now worshipping at the altar of political correctness, not Christ, released a statement strongly approving of the Peters map, which they intended to make use of henceforth, in spite of criticisms of its actual accuracy. But accuracy did not matter to the churchmen. “The political implications of this map are true, whereas the political implications of the Mercator map are false,” they said, like true Party cadres. “The question for the Church is not one of scientific reliability. We see this map as being very central to the establishment of a correct worldview.”

But correct in what way? No map, being drawn upon a flat sheet of paper, can ever properly recreate the actual layout of our broadly spherical globe (technically, it’s an oblate spheroid), not even the Peters Projection.

Mercator pragmatically chose to draw his map in the way he did because, whilst it did indeed distort the relative size of various nations, its layout happened to be more practically accurate for sailors to navigate with, not to pointlessly belittle Congolese egos.

Peters’ new map may have been more politically correct, but any ships actually using it to cross the oceans would have been more likely to get lost or run aground. Still, this did not matter, as “the political implications of this map are true” — pure cartographic Lysenkoism.

It sounds like a cautionary parable, and indeed it is…

The sick men of Europe (and everywhere else)

Across the entire world, new forms of ethnic, political and religious pseudoscience are today engaged in a process of deadly combat over what constitutes reality itself, exactly as they once were in the days of the Soviets and the Nazis.

Just consider the following different national (or nationalist) responses to the recent Covid-19 pandemic:

  • In India, patriotic Hindu science promoted by the Far-Right BJP government tells citizens cow-pats and cow-urine, produced as they are by animals considered sacred in native religious lore, can act as coronavirus cure-alls.
  • In China, worthless traditional Chinese medicines are promoted by the ruling Far-Left Communist Politburo as a plausible means of alleviating symptoms of the disease their bio-labs very possibly unleashed upon the world in the first place.
  • In Iran, Islamic clerics solemnly warn against injecting Western-produced COVID-19 vaccines into human bodies, as their infidel biowarfare side-effect is to twist good Muslims into hellfire-bound homosexuals.
  • In Germany, long memories of Nazi-era abuses of medicine lead numerous sceptics to decline jabs and claim to be living under a new “vaccine dictatorship”.
  • Across Europe, thousands of blacks refuse vaccines on the grounds they are secret white plots to kill them off or render them infertile, whilst white nationalists in these very same nations reject them too, thinking their race-traitor rulers are seeking to do something similar to them.
  • In the US, Republicans are statistically shown to be less likely to accept vaccines than Democrats, with medicine becoming a new and potentially fatal partisan battlefield.

This is pure epistemic balkanisation, and within Western nations, demographically transformed by decades of uncontrolled mass immigration, whites, blacks, Hindus, Muslims, Chinese and others all now mixed endlessly with one another, providing a wide-open target for our enemies to aim at.

If different demographic groups inexorably grow to possess different internal scientific maps of the world, like the Mercator and Peters Projections, then why would an avowed enemy of the West like, say, Vladimir Putin, refrain from exploiting this fact to widen existing societal rifts even further?

Scientific narratives could easily become effective misinformation weapons, unleashed upon societies by their external foes to undermine them from within under the modern-day Russian tactic of hybrid warfare – an attack-method the Kremlin inherited from Soviet times, when the KGB spread the lie that the white-led US military had created AIDS as a way to kill off their troublesome black population, a lie swallowed eagerly by racial extremists of an Afrocentrist persuasion, helping foster racial unrest in inner-city areas.

Toilet papers

This could all easily lead to disaster, with a world split asunder between different views of what scientific reality itself is, even in terms of simple, commonsense things like what constitutes a biological woman.

In order to try and raise awareness of this growing problem, a rash of fake science papers have appeared in recent years, in which whistle-blowing scientific hoaxers have devised deliberately absurd theories that could never possibly actually be true, but which did appear to contain ideas, implications and data which could prove useful to politically motivated scientific partisans. They then submitted these hoax papers to ideologically captured journals to see if they would publish them anyway – which, with alarming frequency, they actually did!

One of the most telling was devised in 2018 by Gary Lewis, a senior lecturer in psychology at a London university, hoping to expose how many ‘scientific’ journals these days are simply profit-making exercises that will publish literally anything in return for cash.

Posing as a fictional academic from the equally fictional Institute of Interdisciplinary Political and Faecal Studies, Lewis’ paper Testing Inter-Hemisphere Social Priming Theory purported to provide “compelling evidence”, based upon “structural equation modelling”, that the hand a person used to wipe their bum clean with after visiting the toilet was determined by their political preferences, left-wingers using their left hand, right-wingers their right one.

A suggestion for a follow-up study was to see how political centrists operated: “Do they alternate hands, or do they use both hands at the same time?” Naturally, Lewis’ paper was accepted for publication, the journal in question even agreeing to waive their usual publication fee, feeling the text’s absurd conceit would gain them some good publicity.

Lewis’ paper stands as a great allegory for the way many people’s opinions about what constitutes scientific reality increasingly now seem determined more by the position they occupy on the political spectrum than anything else. The US military has deemed such trends in fake research to be an actual national security threat, their DARPA research unit pledging up to US$7.6m to create an AI-driven “bullsh*t-detector” program intended to sift out the genuine research from suspect, non-repeatable twaddle in the social (pseudo-)sciences like psychology, sociology and anthropology, all of which the armed forces make use of when analysing things such as enemy morale or troops’ likely reactions to different scenarios on the battlefield.

Divide and conquer

If the US military now has an academic bullsh*t-detector, perhaps Vladimir Putin’s Russia might equally usefully develop an academic bullsh*t-generator (presuming much of Western academia has not already become one of its own accord, that is).

Hoping to increase Western overreliance upon Russian gas and oil, thereby allowing it to blackmail short-sighted nations like Germany militarily, the Kremlin has in recent years sought to both downplay concern about global warming, while simultaneously pushing Green-style environmental concerns about alternative Western sources of energy.

In 2018, Putin warned that wind turbines “shake so hard the worms crawl out of the ground”, making such items environmentally unfriendly, and has in the past point blank denied global warming is substantially driven by mankind. Yet, at the same time, Russia can secretly fund anti-fracking protestors in Britain, dubiously arguing such sources of fuel cause dangerous earthquakes and only supercharge climate change ever more.

If these positions sound mutually contradictory, then all the better: they help further sow political division in the West, while simultaneously encouraging Europe’s continued future dependency upon Russian gas.

Come the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, Russia spied further potential to foster division, with State media and online campaigns pushing ludicrous claims Britain’s AstraZeneca vaccine, which used a chimpanzee-virus as part of the development process, had the unfortunate side-effect of transforming patients into monkeys.

Images of the UK’s then-PM Boris Johnson photoshopped to make him look even more like a yeti than usual were captioned, ‘I like my Bigfoot vaccine!’ while a video of vaccinated astronauts shows them devolving into violent apes on their spaceship.

The point of the propaganda campaign was not only to make Westerners distrust their yeti-led governments, but also to persuade nations like India and Brazil to reject Western vaccines in favour of buying Russia’s own Sputnik V version instead.

This is all part of Russia’s ‘Gerasimov Doctrine’ of hybrid warfare, named after Russian Chief of Staff General Valery Gerasimov, who argues that “the role of non-military means of achieving political and strategic goals has grown and, in many cases, they have exceeded the power of force of [physical] weapons.” In other words, epistemic warfare is often now more cost-effective and efficient than actual warfare.

Welcome to the dawning new age of the Science Wars. You’d better get used to them. They won’t be ending any time soon – and that’s a pure scientific fact!

‘No Understanding Of God’s Honor’: Jon Voight Slams Daughter Angelina Jolie Over Her Israel Comments

Actor Jon Voight took a swipe at his daughter Angelina Jolie over her recent comments on the Israel-Hamas war.

Voight released a video Friday, saying that his daughter did not understand the conflict in Israel. He said that Jolie had “no understanding of God’s honor” and did not grasp how the attacks from terrorist group Hamas could destroy “the land of the Jews.”

“This is justice for God’s children of the holy land,” Voight said in reference to the ongoing Israel-Hamas War.

He said that the Israeli army must protect their land, despite the protests from the left, citing the “inhuman terror” from Hamas. He noted that those arguing that Israel is the “problem” should look inwards to reflect on God’s “truths.” He said that those who see the truth understand that Israel is the victim in this conflict, and that women, children and babies were unjustifiably massacred on October 7th.

He also added that Palestinians, “are not being neglected” and that they have been given large “infusions of money” that they’ve  allocated to building weapons instead of providing for their people. He continued that even though everyone should want peace, there’s no way to achieve such goals with “animals” such as Hamas attacking Jews and Christians to eliminate them from the Earth.

He lamented on the “lie” that Israel is holding citizens of Gaza hostage, when they are “free to go.” Conversely, Voight claims that Hamas uses the Palestinian civilians as “shields” during their military conflicts against the Israeli Defense Force (IDF).

“These children of Palestinian soil are being used by these animals to make all think that Israel is taking lives, when indeed this was Hamas’ plan to create the war of evil versus good,” he said.

He added that Hamas initiated the attacks on Israel which lead to the current war, and that the Jewish people who have endured oppression and hardship for centuries are fighting to defend themselves. He stated that Israel, “the land of purity God’s promise” will win the war.

Celebrities have been outspoken about the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. A whole slew of entertainers, including Gal Gadot and Jerry Seinfeld, signed onto an open letter condemning the Hamas attacks in the wake of the October 7th attacks. Weeks later, Hollywood heavy-hitters urged Biden to secure the release of hostages in Gaza.
