So Why is No One Taking Notice of Another Texas Killer?

That is what Daniel Horowitz asked at Conservative Review yesterday.

And, I am sure most of you who have been following my posts on alleged serial killer, Billy Chemirmir were thinking the same thing as we are subjected to every day, all day, coverage of the El Paso Walmart shooting.

But, of course, here is why the same attention hasn’t been given to the Kenyan Killer—he killed (mostly) old white ladies and his weapon was a pillow.   That, and the fact that he is an African in the US illegally and if he had been deported when he had his first run-in with the law, 18 grandmothers and one grandfather would not have died such a frightening and horrible death.  (Imagine that face looming over you as a pillow was pressed to your nose!)

When investigations are complete, Chemirmir’s kill list will likely far surpass the number killed in that dreadful murder spree at the El Paso Walmart.

Will Presidential candidates be yapping that something must be done—ban pillows?

Nobody in the GOP Senate or the White House is taking notice of what might be the worst and most heinous criminal alien crime committed in American history. We must discuss closing the multiple criminal alien loopholes that violate laws duly passed Congress.

At least 19 Texans were allegedly killed by someone who should never have been in the country, who had been in jail for other crimes and should have been deported.

What if I told you that if we merely enforced and tightened existing laws, unvetted foreign nationals like this would never be able to commit subsequent crimes? “Do something!!,” you would say, right?

Well, not a single major elected official is even talking about this case, much less calling for emergency congressional action to deal with the loopholes. And unlike with El Paso, this crime was actually 100 percent avoidable through public policy, and the course of action would not implicate a fundamental right. After all, there is no right to immigrate, as there is a right for Americans to bear arms.

Billy Chemirmir, like many people who gamed out our immigration system, came to the United States on a tourist visa in 2003, only to indefinitely overstay his visa, according to Breitbart.com’s John Binder. That should have rendered him an illegal alien, and had our government fulfilled its promise in 1996 to construct a visa tracking exit-entry system, as later recommended by the 9/11 Commission, he would have been out of the country. Not only was he not deported, he wound up using a loophole to get a green card in 2007 by marrying an American citizen, according to Binder’s sources. He then racked up a significant criminal history, including two DWIs in 2011 and an assault on a girlfriend resulting in bodily injury in 2012.

Yet this criminal from another country, whose presence here was originally illegal and who should have been deported, continued to remain in the country.

That brings us to the present. Chemirmir is now charged with the murder of 12 senior citizens whom he is alleged to have killed by smothering them with pillows over the course of three years – 2016-2018 – long after he should have been deported.

Evangelical Lutheran Church Declares Itself a Sanctuary Church, First in Nation

Here is one version of the news this week.  Notice they work closely with Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service*** which is almost completely federally funded.

It appears that these Lutherans have run out of poor and homeless AMERICANS in need of Christian charity.

Evangelical Lutheran Church Declares Itself a Sanctuary Denomination

MILWAUKEE, Aug. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), today at the 2019 ELCA Churchwide Assembly declared itself a Sanctuary Denomination, dedicated to serving and supporting the protection of migrants in communities nationwide. The ELCA is the first mainstream church body in America to declare itself a sanctuary denomination. The movement was spearheaded by the Metropolitan New York Synod (MNYS), one of the 65 synods of the ELCA.

“Christians have offered sanctuary for two thousand years, continuing an ancient biblical practice in which cities and houses of worship provided refuge and asylum for people fleeing injustice,” stated Christopher Vergara, who serves as chairperson of MNYS’s AMMPARO/Sanctuary Ministry. “Beginning in the 1980s, the Sanctuary Movement was a faith-based initiative to protect Central American refugees fleeing civil war and seeking safety in the United States. Today, the New Sanctuary Movement is a revived effort to protect undocumented migrants from needless jailing procedures and deportation, and to address the dire situation within the Department of Health and Human Services that has resulted in the stripping of services to refugees and unaccompanied children.”

By its vote, the ELCA Churchwide Assembly deemed that sanctuary means not only provision of shelter but also:

A response to raids, detentions, deportations, and the criminalization of immigrants and refugees;

A strategy to fight individual cases of deportation, to advocate for an end of mass detention, and to amplify immigrant voices;

A vision for what communities and the world can be; and

A moral imperative to take prophetic action of radical hospitality rooted in the ancient traditions of our faith communities.

Working locally with organizations like Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, Lutheran Social Services, The New Sanctuary Coalition, The New York Immigration Coalition, and the ELCA’s AMMPARO program, the MNYS has created a network of sanctuary congregations ready to help protect refugees and undocumented people from arrest and deportation.The pillars of the program lie in education, advocacy, and awareness.

Afghani Citizen and former U.S. Military Interpreter Charged with Alien Smuggling

With all of the emphasis on the lack of security along the U.S./Mexican border, most Americans have forgotten that the immigration system consists of many elements and that failures of the immigration system may profoundly impact nearly every challenge and threat that America and Americans face in this dangerous and challenging era.

To be clear, the Mexican border must be secured against the un-inspected entry of aliens and contraband,  however, this is not an “either/or” problem.  We also must also understand the other ways that multiple failures of the immigration system endanger our safety and well being.

Indeed, the lack of integrity to the entire immigration system is a reflection of the lack of integrity of our politicians.

On August 2, 2019 the Justice Department posted an extremely worrying news release, Afghanistan National and Former U.S. Military Interpreter Charged for Role in Human Smuggling Conspiracy.

Here is an excerpt from the DOJ press release:

Mujeeb Rahman Saify, 32, is an Afghanistan national who received a Special Immigrant Visa and became a U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident in 2009, after serving as an interpreter for the U.S. military in Afghanistan.  Since 2009, Saify has resided in New York and Newark.  Saify was charged in the District of New Jersey with conspiracy to smuggle aliens to the United States, encouraging and inducing alien smuggling, and attempting to bring aliens to the United States.

According to the indictment, between July 2016 through January 2017, Saify conspired with members of an Afghanistan and Pakistan-based smuggling network to smuggle two Afghanistan nationals to the United States.  The Afghanistan nationals did not have prior authorization to enter the United States and one had been denied a U.S. visa.  The indictment alleges that Saify made contact with the aliens and arranged meetings with the co-conspirators to discuss smuggling arrangements.  Further, according to the indictment, Saify received payment, gave instructions to the aliens to facilitate the smuggling venture, and he used email and phone communications to facilitate and coordinate the criminal operation.

Additional information about this case was provided on that same day in the Washington Times article, Afghan Immigrant Indicted For Trying To Smuggle Migrants Through Mexico Into U.S.

Here is a salient excerpt from that Washington Times report:

Authorities have publicly identified two migrants they say Mr. Saify was responsible for smuggling, including Wasiq Ullah Hedayat, the man flagged for security issued when he was encountered at the U.S. border in Texas. Like Mr. Saify, Mr. Hedayat was a translator for U.S. troops, but was fired in 2014 and was barred from even entering any U.S. base, according to court documents.

He later applied for a visa to the U.S. but was denied.

One of the migrants had applied to come to the U.S. before but had been denied a visa. It’s not clear if that was Mr. Hedayat or the other smuggled migrant, who was not named.

Prosecutors said Mr. Saify worked for a Pakistan-based smuggling network. He charged Mr. Hedayat$10,000 for his journey, while the other migrant, identified in court documents by initials A.H., paid $6,000.

Mr. Saify arranged for his customers to fly to Brazil, where they then made their way up Latin America to the U.S.-Mexico border, and attempted to enter.

This particular case involves multiple extremely serious issues.

To begin with, Saify is currently a lawful immigrant who was granted his lawful immigrant status because of his work as an interpreter, overseas, for the U.S. military.

That he stands accused of smuggling aliens into the United States calls into question the vetting process that preceded Saify’s employment by our military as an interpreter.  It must be presumed that he had been granted a security clearance.

All of the cases in which he provided his “services” must now be carefully reviewed to make certain that he did not mislead our officials.

Interpreters have access to extremely sensitive national security materials that may well include documents, informants and agents.

Interpreters act as the “eyes, ears and mouths” of the members of the military and intelligence and law enforcement agencies requiring that they interact not only with the government personnel but with informants and those individuals who provide what is referred to as “human intelligence” and also have access to documents that need to be translated and/or used in conjunction with an interview/interrogation.

A malfeasant interpreter may not only become aware of the individuals who provide intelligence, placing those people and their families in mortal danger, but may also not provide accurate translations of the discussion they participate in.  This would enable such a bad actor to lie and thus provide disinformation while learning the information pertaining to national security that our governing is seeking.

This can endanger the lives of informants and cooperators as well as members of our armed forces and or the lives of government agents and law enforcement officers and, long term, may enable terrorists to carry out deadly attacks not only abroad, but inside the United States.

Moving on to the fact that he is accused of smuggling aliens through Brazil is of particular concern.  As I noted in an earlier article, Jihadis And Drug Cartel At Our Border the “Tri-Border region of Brazil (at the junction of the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay) is known for terror training camps run by Hezbollah and likely al Qaeda and other Middle-Eastern terrorist organizations and was the focus of the paper, Islamist Terrorist Threat in the Tri-Border Region that was published by Jeffrey Fields, Research Associate, Center for Nonproliferation Studies.

While there have been no published information about whether or not the aliens in this case went to those training camps, the fact that they were moved through Brazil is of great concern and should be of great concern to our political leaders.  Let us also not lose sight that these aliens are citizens of “Special Interest Countries,” that is to say, countries associated with terrorism.

What has also been disclosed in news reports about this case is that one of the aliens Saify is alleged to have attempted to smuggle into the United States had also been employed by the U.S. military as an interpreter until his position was terminated and he was barred from entering U.S. military bases when it was discovered that he was purportedly working for a hostile government.

If the allegations prove to be true, it must be presumed that the goals of these aliens included undermining our national security.  This betrayal could not possibly more serious or dangerous.

Finally we need to focus on how, incredibly, Democrat presidential candidates have openly called for the dismantling of ICE and the decriminalization of our immigration laws that would, in effect, eradicate the borders of the United States even as huge quantities of narcotics, members of transnational gangs and international terrorists flow across our borders each and every day.

The late and very effective and resourceful criminal defense attorney, Johnnie Cochran who is probably best remembered for successfully defending O.J. Simpson admonished the jury in that case, “If you cannot trust the messenger, you cannot trust the message.”

Today I would suggest that we should flip that bit of advice sideways and apply it to those politicians who seek to undermine border security and immigration law enforcement- if you cannot trust the message, you cannot trust the messenger!

INTEL REPORT: (Qatar and the) Muslim Brotherhood’s War on Europe

The weekend of 02-04 August the Saudi-owned al-arabiyya TV channel’s weekly program sina’at al-mawt aired a show they called “The Muslim Brotherhood’s war in Europe.”  Highlights included the following:

The program focused mainly on the situation in Belgium where Muslims comprise 1/5 of the population of its capital city of Brussels.  Of course, Brussels is also the capital of the EU, so it is representative of what is taking place throughout Europe.

Turkey, Iran, and Qatar are all vying for control of the Muslim diaspora in Europe, as are ISIS, al-Qaeda, and other groups.  But it is the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) that practices hegemony over all the Muslims, not just in Brussels, but throughout all of Europe.

One of the Muslim interviewees, a Mr. Ramdhan abu Jasser, the director of the Brussels Center for Research, noted that in Europe, there is a moderate stream promoting assimilation and toleration, and a radical stream, but the moderate stream is failing (he used the term khataab, which can mean either a sermon in a mosque, a public speech, or even general conversation).

As an example he added that when someone from one of the (radical) organizations holds a confab, thousands come . . . and this is without talking about Jerusalem, the right of return, martyrs, or Iraq.  But when there is a moderate confab, like one they just had in Rotterdam a couple of weeks ago, speaking about dialogue and settling down in Europe (assimilation), only 10 or 15 show up.

When Rashid Ghanoushi (head of Tunisia’s MB clone an-nadhdah (renaissance) party, thought of by the experts in DC as part of the “moderate” wing of the MB) speaks or preaches in the Middle East, only a few hundred show up, but when he speaks, or preaches, in Europe thousands come together.  They come from Germany, Denmark, elsewhere and spend lots of money on taxis, hotels, etc.  And, what he talks about is hatred of Europe and the Arab regimes, and to avoid assimilation.

Mr. Jasser went on to say what the MB has failed to gain in the Arab countries, it has gained in Europe, noting in this regard that there are millions of MB members in France alone.

Both Turkey and Qatar (the top two state sponsors of the MB) are heavily involved in gaining influence among Europe’s Muslims.  Qatar has especially expanded its efforts to gain control over the mosques, and to guide the strategy of the MB in Europe.  The principle of “Money talks” gives Qatar a nice edge in this endeavor.

The results?  The MB in Europe preaches the death cult of MB ideologue Sayyid Qutb.

Qatar also finances the “Muslim League” in Belgium, having donated a million Euros.

One of the interviewees also noted that there are many other Muslims and Islamic organizations that are not members of the MB but still help to spread the MB ideology.  The overall primary goal is to “raise the next generation of jihadis” and to also attack moderate teachers and preachers.

Turkey is cooperating with Qatar in this effort to make the MB supreme in Europe.

ANALYSIS:  Given the birthrate disparities between Europe’s native population and that of its Muslims (both those who are citizens and those who recently arrived as “refugees”), Europe, and the world, is looking at a Brussels that by 2050 will be majority Muslim and politically controlled by a MB that hates Europe and Western Civilization in general.  Bear in mind also that native Europeans have been voluntarily converting to Islam in record numbers since 9/11.

Brussels is the capital of the EU and the HQ for NATO.  Anyone still think it’s a good ideal to keep NATO around?

Furthermore, the rest of Europe will not be far behind Brussels in terms of turning their continent entirely over to the MB.

In other words, the game Qatar (and its allies Turkey and the MB) are playing in Europe, is one of waiting, rather than violent revolution now.  That is, while they readily support active terrorism in the Middle East and Africa, their game plan in Europe is to just let the demographics do their job while promoting the MB’s increasing hegemony over the minds and allegiances of Europe’s Muslims–even those who are not actual members of the MB.  That is why they play the “we’re fighting the war on terror” card in one hand to soft soap the westerners all the while laying the foundation for conquest from the inside out by their MB arm.

Sadly, there are serious risks that America will follow in Europe’s footsteps if corrective action is not taken now.  That is why one of he chief goals of Americans for Intelligence Reform is to encourage our intelligence agencies (and our politicians) to learn how to identify long term threats (non-conventional as well as conventional) based on past long-term history as well as ideology, and to provide guidance on how to deal with these threats.

KURDS/TURKEY/ISRAEL

On 02 August, an al-arabiyya TV news cast reported that Turkey has been selling oil to Israel.  This is an interesting development because Turkey and Israel are so at odds on a number of issues (including Turkey’s drilling for oil in waters claimed by Israeli ally Cyprus, Turkey’s support of HAMAS, etc.) that they are on the verge of war.

The origins of this oil are the oil fields in Iraqi Kurdistan which are piped or trucked to a sea port in S.E. Turkey where it is loaded onto an oil tanker and shipped to an Israeli port.

LIBYA/EGYPT/TERRORISM

Back in October of 2018 the Libyan National Army led by General Khalifa Haftar captured the Egyptian terrorist Hisham al-‘Ashmawi.  This capture took place in the town of Derna, Libya, a hotbed of terrorism before being cleaned out by General Haftar’s army.

Hisham al-‘Ashmawi was wanted in both Libya and Egypt for a string of terrorist actions in both countries.  Egypt eventually won the legal battle for extradition which was accomplished a couple of weeks ago.

On the evening of 02 August, Egyptian talk show host ‘Amru Adeeb reported during his al-hakaya (the Story) show a number of details about Hisham ‘Ashmawi’s career.  He had originally gone to Afghanistan where he became close to Ayman Azh-Zhhwahiri, current head of al-Qaeda.  Then he went to Syria to become involved in the war there.

Tabbed to head al-Qaeda in Africa he left Syria, entered Turkey, and was smuggled by the Turks into Libya to set up shop there.  However, in 2016 he ventured to Iraq to join ISIS there, and later also worked in upper (southern) Egypt and in the Sinai.

In Egypt he worked with a group called al-marabitun (garrisoned troops) which previous reporting had identified as a violent offshoot of the MB spreading like wildfire throughout the Egyptian army.  He also started an al-marabitun chapter in Libya.

According to Mr. Adeeb, Mr. al-Ashmawi is singing like a bird and spilling his guts now that he is in Egyptian hands (not to mention fingernail pulling devices, racks, tongs, branding irons and other tools of the trade).  There should be lots of good news forthcoming about the terrorism infrastructure throughout the Middle-East to Afghanistan sector.

ISIS

On 04 August al-arabiyya TV on their show panorama reported that ISIS still has billions of dollars in addition to 50-300 tons of Gold (depending upon whose estimate you choose).  With Ayman azh-Zhwahiri’s deteriorating health and the recent death of Hamza bin Usama bin Laden, look for “flush with cash” ISIS to become the dominant international terrorist organization for years to come.

How Republicans will take back the House, keep the Senate and re-elect Donald J. Trump

But according to a pile of new surveys from Axios to Heritage Action, that’s a gamble too many liberals are willing to take.” – Family Research Council, 2020: It Don’t Mean a Thing If You Ain’t Got Those Swings.

While the 2020 presidential primaries are just getting started with a large field of Democrats vying for the nomination, there are key indicators that it’s the Republicans who are in control on policy issues.

Political advisor to former President Obama David Axelrod said on CNN after the first round of debates:

It does seem as if you’re running for president that you ought to take into consideration what the country wants.

What Does America Want?

Heritage Action for America released the results of three opinion polls conducted across the nation in 2019. Each poll built upon the results of the previous to provide a targeted look at what animates voters in strategic areas across the country.

Here are items that Americans want:

  1. Voters want the border crisis fixed. Heritage found 53% nationally and 63% in swing states, including 62% of independent voters,  believe “The migration problem at the U.S. border is a national emergency.”
  2. Voters want to keep their private healthcare insurance. In Congressional Battleground states 76% reject a single-payer system, including 66% of Independent voters. This includes 65% of swing-state voters and 68% of Independents.
  3. Voters want to save babies who survive an abortion. When asked “Do you support or oppose requiring doctors to provide medical care to infants who survive an abortion?” 76% of voters and 76% of independents said yes.

NOTE: On the issue of immigration the following questions were asked,

“When it comes to illegal immigration, which of the following do you think is the biggest challenge illegal immigrants pose to America?” Voters answered: 37% Overuse Social Services, 7% Take Jobs Away, 7% Undermine Culture, 4% Commit Violent Crimes and 13% All of the Above.

“If more legal immigrants are admitted to the United States, should priority be given to immigrants based on their skills totals or should family members in our country?” Voters answered: 51% Skills and 29% Family.

What America Does Not Want.

  1. Socialism. Heritage found nationally 61% of voters and 57% of independents and 65% in swing states plus 68% of Independents believe that, “Socialism is a bad economic system that leads to bigger government, less freedom, worse economic conditions, and more welfare dependency.”
  2. Political Correctness. When asked, “Do you think that political correctness is a major problem, minor problem, or no problem at all?” 73% of voters nationally and 50% of Independents answered “yes” it is a problem.
  3. Outsourcing and automation. The survey statement was, “There are a significant number of jobs and careers that will not exist in America in 10 years due to automation and outsourcing.” In swing states 83% of voters and independents agreed with the statement. In Congressional Battleground states 82% of voters and independents agreed with the statement.

NOTE: On education the following question was asked:

” In general, do you think a four-year college degree is worth the price of college tuition today? Voters answered: 72% No and 20% Yes.

In the Wealth Management column 5 Reasons Trump Will Be Reelected (And What Wealth Managers Must Know) Scott Martin wrote:

Between the electoral map and a friendly Fed, Democratic contenders are going to have a hard time simply keeping out of each other’s way. 

Bad polling numbers and a stagnant approval rating are one thing. When push comes to shove, voters have historically gone with the candidate they believe will boost their finances the best.

After all, “it’s the economy, stupid.” Right now, with GDP growth tracking above 2%, interest rates falling, tax cuts and full employment, the economy points to four more years.

Otherwise, the Democrats have got to make a compelling case for why a vote against Trump isn’t ultimately a quixotic gesture built more on sentiment than self interest.

Right now it looks like he’s going to win.

Martin lists 5 key factors:

  1. A relaxed Fed is the incumbent’s friend.
  2. The electoral map swings red.
  3. Too many Democrats, not enough messaging.
  4. Too many Democrats, not enough fund raising.
  5. Nobody cares about the future.

The only candidate for President of the United States who understands what America wants, and doesn’t want, is Donald J. Trump. His strength is in his policies and the visible outcomes of his policies. As former President Bill Clinton said, “It’s the economy, stupid.”

As Mr. Martin notes, “Too many votes in California and New York don’t matter if Florida swings and the Rust Belt votes like it did in 2016. Trump could lose the popular election by 5 million votes and still stay in the White House.”

Democrats are increasingly in la, la land with their socialist rhetoric. Watch as Bill Maher roots for recession to get Trump out of office:

While their fringe base is with them that will not keep their House majority, change the Senate majority or take the White House.

Here we have Think Progress, a preeminent Progressive website that’s been around for nearly 15 years (but losing its luster we see) attempting to get your minds right on how the Diversity Visa Lottery really works (according to them) and how Trump is a dummy.

Trump reveals he has no idea how the diversity visa lottery works

At a campaign rally in Cincinnati, Ohio, Thursday night, President Donald Trump painted a wildly inaccurate picture to his supporters of how the diversity visa lottery program works.

The diversity visa lottery program awards roughly 50,000 green cards each year to citizens from various underrepresented countries to legally live and work in the United States. In turn, lottery recipients “diversify” the U.S. population: in order to qualify for the lottery, an individual must meet a number of merit-based factors, including a certain level of education or comparable work experience.

Stop right there.  In that Miami Herald article I quoted last week, we learned that:

Overall, the winner must have at least a high school diploma or its equivalent, or two years’ work experience over the past five years in an eligible occupation that requires at least two years of training or experience.

Can you imagine how easy it would be to falsify that type of information when the applicants are coming from hellhole third world countries!

Oh good security screening!

Because the diversity visa lottery is self-selecting, it is not up to individual countries — as Trump appears to believe — to decide which of its citizens can be considered for a green card. In addition to the education requirements, all recipients of the visa undergo background checks, health examinations, security screenings, and interviews by consular officers before their arrival in the United States.

And, much to my surprise in the very next paragraph reporter Rebekah Entralgo confirms exactly what Trump is saying:

Trump has frequently railed against the diversity visa lottery program, even threatening to eliminate the program altogether in 2017, after a lottery recipient from Uzbekistan carried out an extremist attack in New York City, killing eight people.

Stuttgart – The alleged murderer who attacked and killed a 36-year-old German with a sword on Wednesday evening in broad daylight is said to be a Palestinian who claims to have been a Syrian refugee.

According to Stuttgarter Zeitung, the 30-year-old alleged sword killer is said to be a Palestinian known to the police, who has acquired a Syrian identity. Once again, the German state has apparently accepted his data completely unchecked. The “Syrian” is said to be living in Germany for four years and is registered with the authorities as Issa M. (28). The authorities will now determine whether the perpetrator really is another person, according to the Stuttgarter Nachrichten. The “Syrian” Issa M. yesterday slaughtered a man with several blows and stabs in a block of flats in Stuttgart after a quarrel his former roommate in front of numerous eyewitnesses. And we say again: Thank you, Mrs. Merkel.

“Florida man accused of threatening President Trump during arrest at Walmart,” Associated Press, July 30, 2019:

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — A Florida man accused of trying to slash a Walmart employee with scissors now faces federal charges after allegedly threatening President Donald Trump while he was being arrested.

Federal court records show Mohammed Omar Haji Mohammed is charged with making threats against the president during the July 8 altercation. A Secret Service affidavit says Mohammed tried to slash a Walmart employee during a disagreement at the customer service desk, then yelled threats in Arabic that were recorded on body cameras by police who responded.

The alleged threats, translated into English by the FBI, include: “We are coming for you Trump. We are coming for you with knives. God will send angels to destroy you.”

And this: “l need Trump cut. I want to cut, two portions.”

The affidavit says Mohammed had made suspicious Facebook posts about doing something that would be newsworthy. Those posts caught the attention of an anonymous tipster who let authorities know two days before the Walmart incident that Mohammed seemed to be poised to take some action and had recently been fired from his job at a local Quickies restaurant.

The tipster, according to the Secret Service, said Mohammad at been “acting strange” and had “become more withdrawn” since losing his job.

One Mohammed Facebook post read: “Whoever knows why I came to America wait for the urgent news on television screens and victory is from Allah.”

Federal agents confirmed Mohammed’s identity and had translated his Facebook posts. Then he appeared at the Walmart, where he was charged with aggravated assault, battery against a police officer and disorderly conduct. No injuries were reported in that altercation, which included police use of a Taser to subdue him.

It was only after the Secret Service reviewed the Fort Lauderdale Police Department’s body camera video of the Walmart confrontation that he was charged last Friday with making the threats against Trump. There is nothing in the affidavit to suggest he was planning any kind of serious attempt against the president….

Arizona: Two Somali Refugees Arrested on Terrorism Charges

Before I get to the hot news, I want to be sure you all saw my post from this morning as ‘Frauds and Crooks’ was experiencing some interruptions again today.

Ho-hum! These aren’t the first refugees linked to Islamic terrorism and they won’t be the last.

So much for offering an opportunity for a good life in America!

Justice Dept.: 2 refugees from Somalia arrested in Tucson, accused of providing support to ISIS

(The times are changing! Once again we are seeing the word “refugee” in a head line instead of the usual “man” or “men,” as in “Arizona men” arrested!)

PHOENIX (FOX 10) — Officials with the U.S. Department of Justice say two refugees from Somalia have been arrested in Tucson and accused of providing material support to ISIS terrorists.

In a statement, officials say Ahmed Mahad Mohamed, 21, and Abdi Yemani Hussein, 20, were arrested at Tucson’s airport on July 26, after the two checked in for their flight to Egypt. They reportedly were trying to head to Egypt’s Sinai region to join ISIS.

According to officials, Mohamed and Hussein were talking with an FBI undercover who they believed was a supporter of ISIS ideology. In their conversations, both Mohamed and Hussein revealed they want to travel overseas in order to fight on ISIS’ behalf, or conduct an attack within the U.S. if they were unable to travel.

Investigators say at the time of the arrest, Mohamed was a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., while Hussein was still a refugee.

This news just broke a few hours ago.  If there is anything more tomorrow, I’ll update you.

Ilhan Omar’s Contempt for the Law

Trespassing, multiple traffic violations – and oh, she married her brother. My latest in FrontPage:

The striking evidence that Minnesota’s notorious Representative Ilhan Omar married her own brother in an apparent case of immigration fraud is finally making its way into the mainstream, albeit amid a great deal of obfuscation and outright disinformation. However, that curious case is not the only instance in which Omar has been found on the wrong side of the law. The controversial Congressman has a lengthy record of utter contempt for the rule of law, of which she is now ostensibly a guardian.

Omar was recently ordered to pay back thousands of dollars of campaign funds that she spent on personal expenses. According to National Review, Minnesota’s Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board “ordered Omar to reimburse her former campaign committee for $3,500 in personal accounting and travel expenses, and levied a $500 civil penalty against her for misspending the funds.”

Nor is that all: Minnesota’s Alpha News reports that Omar “was arrested in 2013 for trespassing and booked at Hennepin County Jail ‘to prevent further criminal conduct,’ according to a newly uncovered police report.”

Omar had gone, along with a large crowd of other Somalis, to the Hotel Ivy, where former Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was staying. Alpha News notes that “according to the police report, hotel staff requested police assistance in clearing the lobby, saying that anyone without a hotel room key was not welcome on the premises and needed to leave immediately. The officer handling the incident said the majority of people who were asked to leave were compliant. However, Omar, when approached, was ‘argumentative’ and refused to leave.”

Even when the other Somalis began to leave, Omar, according to the police report, “remained defiant” and refused to go; finally she was arrested for trespassing.

Then there are the traffic violations. The Minnesota Trial Court Public Access site, which is run by the Minnesota Judicial Branch, lists no fewer than twenty-four violations by Omar, the first on May 28, 2009 and the most recent on January 17, 2019, when Omar was a member of the House of Representatives. There are twelve violations in 2016 alone.

These traffic violations were no big deal – fully half of them are for parking in a no-parking zone and other parking offenses. Omar was also cited twice, on October 17, 2018 and October 25, 2018, for driving with expired plates. On April 27, 2012, she was caught driving without a driver’s license.

None of these traffic arrests are a big deal. Almost everybody gets a few traffic violations in the course of years of driving. But 24 of them? The sheer number of these violations demonstrates that Ilhan Omar believes, apparently with good reason, that she simply need not have any regard for Minnesota law. And when one takes into account the trespassing arrest, the campaign finance violations, and the marriage to her brother, a disturbing pattern emerges. Does this Minnesota lawmaker have any respect at all for the law?

Over the years there have been numerous jihadis in the U.S., Europe, Australia and elsewhere who have announced that they consider themselves to be bound only by the law of Allah, and not by what they consider to be manmade law. They demonstrate their contempt for the latter by refusing to stand for judges and obey other orders. The Qur’an says: “O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you” (Qur’an 4:59). This is not a command to obey earthly authorities, unless they are commanding the Muslim to observe the laws of Islam. The respected and mainstream Qur’an commentary Tafsir al-Jalalayn explains this as meaning that one must obey “those in authority among you, that is, rulers, when they command you to obey God and His Messenger.”

Does Ilhan Omar, whose Sharia-compliance is demonstrated by her hijab, also have this disregard for any law other than the law of Allah? We will probably never know, because no establishment media “journalist” would ever dare ask her about this.

And more importantly, this serial lawbreaker will almost certainly not be held accountable, despite all the evidence of her immigration fraud. She is apparently too useful to powerful interests.

Who are the powerful people who are protecting Ilhan Omar from any legal consequences of her more egregious behavior? When will they, and Omar herself, be held legally accountable?

It’s about the content of Elijah Cummings’ character, not the color of his skin

Before I begin to address the latest twitter storm focused on Congressman Elijah Cummings (D-MD District 7) let’s look at some data on Cummings’ district, which includes much of the City of Baltimore but reaches into Baltimore and Howard counties.

It is important to note that the Baltimore City Council Presidents since 1923 to today have all been Democrats. It is also important to know that all of the current members of the Baltimore City Council are Democrats.

According to the BALTIMORE CITY: 2017 NEIGHBORHOOD HEALTH PROFILE released by the Baltimore City Health Department:

  • The Baltimore population is Black or African American 62.8%.
  • The percentage of children living in single-parent household is 64.8%.
  • The of Baltimore citizens unemployed is 13.1%.
  • The percentage of Baltimore families in poverty is 28.8%.
  • Baltimore has a Hardship Index of 51. (The Hardship Index combines information from six socioeconomic indicators – housing, poverty, unemployment, education, income, and dependency.)
  • The rate of rat complaints in Baltimore is 408.8 per 10,000 households.
  • The City of Baltimore’s homicide rate is 3.9, with the youth homicide mortality rate at 31.3. (The homicide rate is based upon the number of homicides that occurred per 10,000 residents.)

U.S. Congressman Elijah Cummings, and Maryland’s 7th District, are now the focus of President Trump. Why?

Here is House Oversight and Reform Committee Chair Congressman Elijah Cummings (D-MD) yelling at President Trump’s acting DHS chief.

After watching this exchange President Trump tweeted:

Rep, Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous. His district is considered the Worst in the USA……

….As proven last week during a Congressional tour, the Border is clean, efficient & well run, just very crowded. Cumming District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place

President went on tweeting:

Why is so much money sent to the Elijah Cummings district when it is considered the worst run and most dangerous anywhere in the United States. No human being would want to live there. Where is all this money going? How much is stolen? Investigate this corrupt mess immediately!

Elijah Cummings spends all of his time trying to hurt innocent people through “Oversight.” He does NOTHING for his very poor, very dangerous and very badly run district! Take a look…. #BlacksForTrump2020

So sad that Elijah Cummings has been able to do so little for the people of Baltimore. Statistically, Baltimore ranks last in almost every major category. Cummings has done nothing but milk Baltimore dry, but the public is getting wise to the bad job that he is doing!

Baltimore, under the leadership of Elijah Cummings, has the worst Crime Statistics in the Nation. 25 years of all talk, no action! So tired of listening to the same old Bull…Next, Reverend Al will show up to complain & protest. Nothing will get done for the people in need. Sad!

Representative Cummings has been in Congress since 1996. According to USASPENDING.gov in FY 2018 Maryland’s 7th Congressional District received approximately $15.7 billion in grants, benefits and other assistance from the federal government.

Money is not the problem in Rep. Cummings’ District. Single parent homes is the root cause of the poverty, unemployment, crime and dysfunction.

Dear Rep. Cummings, the people in your district are human beings too.

For new readers that 95,000 number is for refugees chosen abroad and flown here on your dime and then resettled by the State Department’s nine paid resettlement contractors.  (The Trump team never got rid of any of the nine as they once promised to do!)

Of course that 95,000 number is in addition to the hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers who illegally entered the US and asked to be declared refugees.  Refugees are eligible for most forms of welfare once designated.

The lobbying arm of the refugee industry, the Refugee Council USA, confirms that 95,000 is their target number for FY2020 which begins October 1, 2019.

They announce their pie-in-the-sky number early and often so then when Trump suggests something less than that they can scream bloody murder.

BTW, as of June 30th of FY19, the Trump Administration had admitted just over 21,000, thus the State Department will have to speed things up to even make the 30,000 ceiling for this year.

The lobbying group Refugee Council USA wants its followers to….

Hold the administration accountable to meeting this year’s 30,000 refugee admissions goal and urge them to commit to resettling at least 95,000 refugees in Fiscal Year 2020, rebuilding the program and returning it to historic norms.

That made me laugh because not even Barack Obama came near their “historic norms.”

“Rebuilding the program” means pouring more taxpayer dollars into the “religious” groups’ coffers. 

The story that caught my eye today is this one from Deseret News.

There is no mention made that some of those signing a letter to the Secretary of State have a vested financial interest in increasing the number of refugees being admitted.

Religious groups react to rumors the U.S. will stop admitting refugees. What would it mean for U.S. values?

In addition to Walter Mondale, Deseret News wants you to know that Islamic Relief USA is also pounding Pompeo with a lecture about our “foundational values.”

Mentioned in the story is a letter sent by what the Deseret News calls 40 “faith groups” to Secretary of State Pompeo in June demanding a “robust” program for the coming fiscal year.

Here is the last paragraph:

We are grateful that the Administration continues to prioritize the promotion of international religious freedom as a core foreign policy goal. We believe having a robust U.S. refugee resettlement program is part and parcel of promoting a strong, consistent international religious freedom agenda abroad. We urge the Department of State, in partnership with other agencies, to continue to strengthen the U.S. refugee admissions program as a life-saving foreign policy and humanitarian tool helping victims fleeing religious persecution abroad. We urge that the U.S. admit 30,000 refugees in FY2019 and increase the refugee admissions number for FY2020 to return to historic norms. The U.S. has promoted international religious freedom abroad as a core value and foreign policy agenda, and our acceptance of refugees signals to countries abroad that we value this fundamental freedom and are willing to protect those who are persecuted because of their faith.

And now here are the forty plus “faith” groups which signed the letter.

If you are a supporter of any of the hodge podge of groups and disapprove of their support for this effort, be sure to let them know!

Of the nine paid resettlement contractors, five groups whose budgets depend on your tax dollars for refugee clients signed the letter: Church World Service, HIAS (Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society), Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, the Episcopal Church and World Relief.

Although several Catholic-affiliated groups are mentioned neither of the giants resettling the largest number of refugees in the US—Catholic Charities or the US Conference of Catholic Bishops—are mentioned.

This is the time to let the President know what your number is for FY2020!  He needs a robust response from you!

Florida Sheriff arrests 25 pedophiles including an illegal alien, UBER driver and man in ICE custody

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25 people during Operation Intercept VI, a 4-day initiative focused on protecting Sarasota County children from online predators and human trafficking.

Suspects ranging in age from 19-65 responded to Internet-based ads, online apps and social media sites to engage in sexually explicit written and verbal conversations. One of the suspects rode a three-wheel bicycle to the home while in possession of cocaine and another brought with him two firearms and several narcotics. One man attempted to lure the child into his vehicle while several sent explicit photos and brought condoms with them. Ultimately all 25 arrestees traveled with the intent of having sex with a male or female child.

“Unfortunately, the internet allows for easy and anonymous access to children by strangers who are hiding behind a computer screen. That is why these operations are paramount to ensuring our most vulnerable population is safe and protected,” commented Sheriff Tom Knight. “The men arrested during this operation managed to blend into society and attempted to prey on children by developing a trust through promises to exploit them for sexual purposes. So long as men like these prey upon our community, I will ensure our ongoing commitment to putting them behind bars.”

The following suspects were arrested in the three-day operation and charged with:

  • Steven Aldacosta, DOB 08/04/79, of Sarasota, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts.
  • Richard Antico, DOB 01/05/87, of 5922 Las Colinas Circle, Lake Worth, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts. He reports he is employed as a food deliveryman.
  • Jose Ayala-Gil, DOB 12/01/96, of 3200 Village Lane, Sarasota, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts. He reports he is employed as a detailer at a Sarasota carwash. Ayala-Gil is a foreign born resident with an alien registration and prior criminal history.
  • Georgios Bakomihalis, DOB 02/07/92, of 16430 Treasure Point Drive, Wimauma, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts. He reports he is employed as an Uber driver.
  • Nicholas Bonito, DOB 07/17/00, of 6904 Manatee Avenue W #62A, Bradenton, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts.
  • Arthur Byrne, DOB 08/28/90, of 4026 Royal Palm Avenue, Sarasota, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act, Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts, and Possession of a MDMA.
  • Azis Casanas-Ramos, DOB 12/09/99, of 3743 Woodmont Drive, Sarasota, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts.
  • Joseph Cate, DOB 01/26/86, of 1262 Prospect Street, Bradenton, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts. He reports he is employed as a mechanic.
  • Maxwell Crain-Perrault, DOB 06/04/00, of 819 Whooping Crane Court, Bradenton, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts.
  • Andrew Crose, DOB 09/21/92, of 540 La Gorce Drive, Venice, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act, Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts, and Violation of Probation. He reports he works for a lawn care company.
  • Travis Deel, DOB 10/22/79, of 948A Edwards Avenue, Jacksonville, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act, Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts and Transmission of Harmful Material. At the time of his arrest, Deel was enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a chief petty officer, scheduled to deploy the following day.
  • Michael Doran, DOB 01/05/91, of 413 Dodge Avenue, Sarasota, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act, Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts, Transmission of Harmful Materials, Possession of Cocaine, and Violation of Probation. Doran rode his bicycle to the home while in possession of cocaine. He reports he is employed as a cook in Sarasota.
  • Jarred Durant, DOB 05/03/94, of 11230 Fiddlewood Drive, Riverview, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act, Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts, and two counts of Possession of a Concealed Firearm. When Durant arrived to the home, he was in possession of two guns and various narcotics.
  • Constantin Fota, DOB 05/16/92, of 2907 48th Street SW, Lehigh Acres, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts.
  • Christopher Hamilton, DOB 04/26/65, of 3372 Sheffield Circle, Sarasota, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act, Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts, Prostitution, and Commit to Offer Prostitution with Transmission of HIV. He reports he is employed at a car dealership in Sarasota.
  • Richard LaGace Sr., DOB 01/09/54, of 1647 White Breeze, Bradenton, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act, Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts, and Transmission of Harmful Material.
  • Omar Lazo, DOB 08/26/96, of 1517 E. Knollwood Street, Tampa, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts. He reports he is employed as an electrician.
  • Pedro Lopez-Garcia, DOB 08/12/87, of 613 11th St West, Palmetto, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act, Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts, and three counts of Transmission of Harmful Materials. He is an illegal immigrant and reports he works as a handyman and roofer. Upon Lopez-Garcia’s arrest, deputies notified U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) however, he was later released on bond.
  • Marcos Manuel-Juan, DOB 05/11/96, of 510 60th Avenue Terrace West, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts. He is an illegal immigrant who reports he is employed as a fiberglass repairman. Manuel-Juan is currently in the custody of ICE.
  • – Michael McBee, DOB 06/03/85, of 6531 Field Sparrow Glen, Bradenton, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts. He reports he is employed as a retail store manager in Ellenton. When McBee arrived to the home, he attempted to lure the child into his vehicle.
  • Douglas Mutschler, DOB 04/28/81, of 1020 Capri Isles Blvd #63, Venice, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act, Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts, and Violation of Probation stemming from charges in 2017 in Seminole County for Travelling to Meet a Minor and Unlawful Sexual Activity with Certain Minors.
  • Austin Patterson, DOB 08/01/95, of 4227 52nd Place W Apt #202, Bradenton, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts. He reports he is employed as a cook in Bradenton.
  • Joshua Rector, DOB 04/03/95, of 12297 Cognac Drive, Punta Gorda, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts.
  • – Geovany Rodriguez, DOB 06/11/92, of 505 13th Street W #13A, Palmetto, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act and Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts. He reports he is employed at a pawnshop in Bradenton.
  • Juan Vazquez, DOB 03/06/00, of 1601 Florida Development Road, Davenport, is charged with Use of a Computer to Solicit a Child to Commit a Sex Act, Travelling to Solicit a Child to Commit Sex Acts, and Transmission of Harmful Material.

The sheriff’s office regularly conducts initiatives to curb child sexual exploitation and trafficking. In May 2018, Sheriff Knight announced the results of Operation Intercept V, in which 21 men were arrested for similar crimes. During his news conference, Knight released a graphic titled, “Nine Apps Parents Should Know About,” which identified nine mobile applications frequently downloaded by children that can be utilized by predators for purposes of exploitation.

On Friday, Knight added six apps to the list including MeetMe, Grindr, SKOUT, WhatsApp, TikTok and badoo. The graphic was re-released and aptly titled “15 Apps Parents Should Know About.”

Operation Intercept VI was conducted in partnership with and with support from the Department of Homeland Security, DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office and North Port Police Department. Several of those arrested are still under continued investigation for other related and non-related crimes.
