On Tuesday, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey (R) signed legislation prohibiting biological males who identify as transgender from competing in women’s college sports. The bill’s ratification marks the latest in a swath of legislation nationwide aimed at protecting fair play in women’s sports.
The Alabama law is the second measure enacted in the state in the last two years designed to protect female sports. In 2021, the Yellowhammer State put into practice legislation stating that girls’ sports in grades K-12 are limited to biological females.
According to Fox News, Alabama is one of 20 states nationwide that have put in place guidelines prohibiting biological males from competing in women’s sports in recent years. The wave of legislation comes as an increasing number of biological males are being allowed to compete in women’s sporting events, resulting in at least 30 women’s titles being claimed by biological men over the last 20 years, with the vast majority of those male wins occurring in the last four years alone.
“Look, if you are a biological male, you are not going to be competing in women’s and girls’ sports in Alabama,” Ivey said in a statement. “It’s about fairness, plain and simple.”
Alabama State Rep. Susan DuBose (R), the bill’s sponsor, was equally frank about the need for the legislation. “Forcing women to compete against biological men would reverse decades of progress that women have made for equal opportunity in athletics,” she said last month. DuBose went on to add that “no amount of hormone therapy can undo all those advantages” of being born male.
Still, some media outlets are claiming that the argument that biological male athletes have physical advantages over female athletes has “little basis in science,” as declared by the San Francisco Chronicle on Tuesday. But a 2020 study on transgender-identifying biologically male athletes found that even after two years of taking hormones to suppress their testosterone, they still retained a 12% advantage over female athletes in running tests. In a separate Canadian study that found similar results, the authors stated, “Testosterone suppression does not remove the athletic advantage acquired under high testosterone conditions at puberty, while the male musculoskeletal advantage is retained.”
A growing chorus of prominent women athletes and sportscasters have added their voices in support of fair play in women’s sports. In response to biological male transgender-identifying swimmer Lia Thomas’s claim that it’s “transphobic” to limit women’s sports to biological women, Grand Slam tennis champion Martina Navratilova was blunt: “NEWSFLASH Lia — it’s not fair. We shouldn’t have to explain it to you over and over. Also — stop explaining feminism to feminists.”
After ESPN commentator Samantha Ponder recently admitted that she has had “so many [people message] me, stop me in the street to say thank you [and] tell me stories [about] girls who are afraid to speak up for fear of lost employment/being called hateful,” USA Today’s Nancy Armour claimed Ponder was promoting “bigotry.” But ESPN colleague Sage Steele came to Ponder’s defense, tweeting, “Pathetic attack on a WOMAN who is simply fighting for WOMEN in sports … Stay strong @samponder ..this is a lonely fight, but it’s worth it.”
It appears that the fight is becoming less lonely, as another ESPN commentator, who has since left the network, acknowledged that “as a woman … [it] was huge slap in the face” that ESPN celebrated Lia Thomas during Women’s History Month. Meanwhile, Riley Gaines, a former championship swimmer for the University of Kentucky, has become the face of the growing movement to protect women’s sports.
Mary Szoch, director of the Center for Human Dignity at Family Research Council and a former NCAA Division I athlete, expressed support for Alabama’s bill protecting women’s collegiate sports.
“I am so grateful for the new Alabama law recognizing that it is unfair and unsafe for men to play women’s sports at the collegiate level,” she told The Washington Stand. “Sports are meant to teach life lessons, but when we allow men to play women’s sports, the only life lesson we’re teaching is that women will always come in second. I look forward to the day when all 50 states follow Alabama’s lead.”

For those who didn’t know about the Target controversy already, they likely know now.
Forgiato Blow, nicknamed “Trump’s Nephew,” released a song about boycotting Target last week, and it is rapidly climbing the charts. Blow’s music video has at least 705,000 views on YouTube, and the song has been growing in popularity ever since its reveal. “Boycott Target” was ranked #1 for top songs according to iTunes Top 10 Music Charts U.S.A. and has been a headliner in the news this week.
“Boycott Target” was released as a response to Target’s inclusion of LGBTQ products and partnership with a Satanist designer earlier in May. There was a firestorm of backlash from conservatives. Many were upset at the inclusion of over-sexualized ideas in children’s books and children’s clothing. The idea of boycotting Target went viral on social media, and many well-known conservatives have championed the revolt.
Forgiato Blow is an American rapper who has written many songs to demonstrate his love for Donald Trump, America, and conservative ideals. He saw the Target controversy as an opportunity for a hit single, and he took it. Some of his song lyrics include, “Target is targeting your kids” and “We need a clean up on every aisle, inside this store Satan resides.” The music video is filmed inside of the department store, while Blow and other featured artists wave the controversial items at the camera, clearly articulating their views on the products.
While the uproar has been ongoing in the limelight for a few weeks now, this hit song has likely brought attention to a wider, younger audience. A recent Forbes study shows that 94% of Gen Z survey respondents say that music is important to their lives. In that same study, 40% say that music plays a role in shaping their social circle.
“Now that sites have ‘trending’ features, it’s an easy way for the same ideas to be planted in all our heads at the same time,” Zach Sprouse, Regent University student and Family Research Council intern says. “In a way, it’s a good idea to reach Gen Z through trending songs and posts, because most young people are way more likely to listen to the #1 song of the day rather than turn on the news.”
So, is it beneficial for politics to merge with modern arts to impress different ideas? Studies show that this is already happening. “We ought to just embrace it and use trending features to spread our objectives,” Sprouse concludes. Music and the arts are highly influential in modeling our perception of the world. Artists like Forgiato Blow understand the ripple effect of their music and will most likely continue pushing agendas in their work in the future.

The head of a facility that carries out so-called “gender-affirming care” has published a study confirming that transgender surgeries do not improve mental health and make people feel lonelier than those who avoided surgical intervention altogether.
“In our study, the level of life satisfaction in transgender people was not increased in transgender people who had undergone gender-affirming surgery as compared to those who were unoperated,” says a study published Tuesday in BMC Public Health, a peer-reviewed scientific journal.
“[O]ur data indicate that transgender and gender diverse people, who have undergone gender reassignment surgery feel lonelier” than transgender-identified people who have not elected to have surgery, finds a separate study by the same four researchers, originally published online May 11 in the journal Healthcare (Basel).
The researchers also reveal that people who identify as members of the opposite sex experienced greater isolation if they played sports. “[H]igher loneliness levels were significantly associated with … already having a gender reassignment surgery [and] more than 4 [hours] a week of sports activities,” as “compared to no sports activity.”
The German experts collected the data informing both studies from those seeking transgender surgery at a Hamburg surgical center. The respondents were “104 transgender people who had joined self-help groups to get and share information about the gender-affirming surgeries performed at the Division [Department] of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf.” The facility carries out such common transgender procedures as “labiaplasty” and “breast augmentation,” as well as “other surgical services.”
One of the authors of both studies, Dr. Marco Blessmann, has chaired that university’s plastic surgery department since its creation in 2014.
Both studies also list co-author Katharina Grupp’s affiliation as a member of Blessmann’s plastic surgery department (although the university website refers to her as a member of another surgical department; Blessmann’s department states that it collaborates with other departments).
The most recent study finds that people who identify as transgender have lower overall life satisfaction than the general population — and young people suffering from gender dysphoria have worse mental health than older people. Blessmann, et. al., found 31% of transgender-identifying people felt “dissatisfied” or “extremely dissatisfied” with life, while 17% said they were “satisfied” and just one percent felt “extremely satisfied.” People who identify as transgender were 1,290% more likely to describe themselves as “extremely” dissatisfied” than “extremely satisfied” with their lives.
Additionally, “higher levels of life satisfaction were associated with higher age. Previously, authors described that transgender youth was associated with disproportionally high rates of depression, anxiety, suicidality, and non-suicidal self-injury.”
“Such factors are known to be associated with lower life satisfaction,” the authors write.
The latest study, released two days before the beginning of LGBTQ “Pride Month,” is sure to provoke conversation as states debate SAFE Acts to protect minors from the transgender industry and internet searches for such terms as “am I gay” and “am I trans” have increased 1,300% in 19 years, even in the most conservative states.
The latest conclusions come as no surprise to experts. “This finding is sadly consistent with other studies,” Mary Beth Waddell, director of Federal Affairs for Family and Religious Liberty at Family Research Council, told The Washington Stand. “One study showed that the suicide completion rate for those that had undergone surgery was 19 times higher than the general population.”
A study taken in transgender-friendly Sweden concluded, “Persons with transsexualism, after sex reassignment, have considerably higher risks for mortality, suicidal behaviour, and psychiatric morbidity than the general population.”
Despite those studies, members of the transgender surgery industry often insist children will commit suicide unless parents agree to submit their children to life-altering surgeries. “A common tactic was for doctors to tell the parent of a [girl], ‘You can either have a living son or a dead daughter,’” explained Jamie Reed, a far-Left LGBT activist and whistleblower who worked for four years at The Washington University Transgender Center at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
Scientists have long known mental illness and gender dysphoria are correlated. “Clinical evidence suggests that schizophrenia occurs in patients with GID [gender identity disorder] at rates higher than in the general population and that patients with GID may have schizophrenia-like personality traits,” said a 2014 study. “Toxoplasma infection, reduced levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), early childhood adversity, and links with autism spectrum disorders, may account for some of this overlap.” A 2020 study found people who suffer from gender dysphoria are up to 636% more likely to have autism, as well.
“The only way individuals dealing with gender dysphoria will come to live happy, healthy, and authentic lives is by addressing the source of their dysphoria and pursuing healing,” Waddell told TWS. “Many of the individuals who identify as transgender do so because of trauma, abuse, adverse childhood experiences (which may or may not be traumatic), and other such reasons. Until these root issues are properly dealt with, these individuals will not be completely satisfied.”
Transgender-identified adolescents were more than twice as likely as to report childhood sexual abuse, 161% more likely to endure physical abuse, and 184% more likely to experience psychological abuse than their peers, according to researchers from the University of Pittsburgh. “Transgender adolescents (TGAs) exhibit disproportionate levels of mental health problems compared with cisgender adolescents (CGAs),” reported their 2021 study, published in the journal Pediatrics. “[R]esearchers should examine how more frequent experiences of abuse during childhood could contribute to disproportionate mental health problems observed within this population.”
The evidence shows the best thing parents can do for children questioning their biological identity is to prevent them from having permanently disfiguring surgeries or potentially sterilizing hormone injections. “Even the American Psychiatric Association, which supports gender identity ideology, acknowledges that a high percentage of children will desist from feelings of dysphoria if allowed to go through puberty naturally. This is why we need to pass legislation like the Protecting Children from Experimentation Act of 2023 and the End Taxpayer Funding of Gender Experimentation Act of 2023,” Waddell told TWS.
“Allowing children to go through the natural transitions of youth without interference allows them to come into their own and make wiser decisions about their future.”

Large financial institutions such as banks and fund managers are using the gigantic sums of other people’s money they control to push ideological agendas that have nothing to do with investing. Substituting a woke agenda for sound business practice constitutes fundamental breach of the fiduciary duty between investors and those they entrust to manage their funds.
This is institutional leftism at its worst.

The ability of banks and investment houses to cut off businesses from the capital they need to operate is an abuse of power.

This question, lumped together with similar ones at the meeting, forced Fink to dodge and filibuster. It’s clear he’s not used to being put on the spot by a conservative voices.
A few weeks before that I also got a chance to ask Bank of America CEO Bryan Moynihan this question: “The large number of shareholder proposals regarding climate change clearly indicates that Bank of America’s strategy of trying to appease the activists is not working. Why doesn’t Bank of America simply focus on maximizing value for shareholders and just ignore these people?”
Again, the CEO’s answer was evasive, but it was also defensive. This is a good thing. This kind of aggressive questioning and awareness raising is having an impact.
Governors and legislators are taking a stand against ESG investing. Shareholders are pushing back hard.
A series of left-wing energy and environmental proposals before the shareholders in recent Exxon and JP Morgan meetings CFACT took part in were shot down in flames.
The free market is the most efficient way to allocate financial resources known to man.
Companies must be allowed to innovate and compete in the free marketplace unimpeded by left-wing virtue-signaling by banks and fund managers.

France has banned domestic short-haul flights where train alternatives exist, in a bid to cut carbon emissions.
The law came into force two years after lawmakers had voted to end routes where the same journey could be made by train in under two-and-a-half hours.
The ban all but rules out air travel between Paris and cities including Nantes, Lyon and Bordeaux, while connecting flights are unaffected.
Critics have described the latest measures as “symbolic bans”.
Laurent Donceel, interim head of industry group Airlines for Europe (A4E), told the AFP news agency that “banning these trips will only have minimal effects” on CO2 output.
He added that governments should instead support “real and significant solutions” to the issue.
Airlines around the world have been severely hit by the coronavirus pandemic, with website Flightradar24 reporting that the number of flights last year was down almost 42% from 2019.
The French government had faced calls to introduce even stricter rules.
France’s Citizens’ Convention on Climate, which was created by President Emmanuel Macron in 2019 and included 150 members of the public, had proposed scrapping plane journeys where train journeys of under four hours existed.
But this was reduced to two-and-a-half hours after objections from some regions, as well as the airline Air France-KLM.
French consumer group UFC-Que Choisir had earlier called on lawmakers to retain the four-hour limit.
“On average, the plane emits 77 times more CO2 per passenger than the train on these routes, even though the train is cheaper and the time lost is limited to 40 minutes,” it said.
It also called for “safeguards that [French national railway] SNCF will not seize the opportunity to artificially inflate its prices or degrade the quality of rail service”.
The idea for the ban originally came from a Citizens’ Assembly.
France’s ban on short-haul domestic flights comes into force 23 May.
Under a government decree, any journeys that are possible in less than two-and-a-half hours by train cannot be taken as a flight.
France is also cracking down on the use of private jets for short journeys in a bid to make transport greener and fairer for the population.
Transport minister Clément Beaune said the country could no longer tolerate the super rich using private planes while the public are making cutbacks to deal with the energy crisis and climate change.
Which flights are now banned in France?
The law will mostly rule out air trips between Paris Orly airport and regional hubs such as Nantes, Lyon and Bordeaux.
Critics have noted that the cutoff point is shy of the roughly three hours it takes to travel from Paris to the Mediterranean port city Marseille by high-speed rail.
As rail services improve, more routes could be added such as those between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Lyon and Rennes as well as journeys between Lyon and Marseille. They currently don’t meet the criteria for the ban because trains to airports in Paris and Lyon don’t allow passengers to arrive early in the morning or late in the evening.
Connecting flights are unaffected by the new law.
Train services must meet certain conditions to replace flights
The new law specifies that train services on the same route must be frequent, timely and well-connected enough to meet the needs of passengers who would otherwise travel by air – and able to absorb the increase in passenger numbers.
In October 2021, Greenpeace demanded an EU-wide ban on any flights where the rail journey would take under six hours.
So how do you persuade people to take trains and coaches over planes? Well, one way is through banning short-haul flights outright, especially when there are valid bus or train alternatives. And that’s a route that several European countries have already taken – but could more follow suit?
A couple of years ago, a poll found that 62 percent of Europeans would support a ban on short-haul flights. In other words, banning them might not just be a good, environmentally-friendly policy. It could also be pretty popular.

Meanwhile, China is still planning to expand its network of airports from 241 (at the end of 2020) to 450 by 2035.

The UK aviation industry seems to have nodded along with the idea that some passengers are going to be priced out of the air…Today, it has published a ‘road map’ showing how the industry intends to decarbonise, in order to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050 – in line with the government’s self-imposed, legally-binding target. It proposes that 14 per cent of emissions cuts will come from ‘demand reduction’ – i.e. potential passengers being put off flying by a rise in the price of airline tickets…The UK aviation industry seems to have nodded along with the idea that some passengers are going to be priced out of the air in order for Britain to reach its net zero target.
WaPo: A report suggests a novel way of curbing climate pollution from air travel: A global tax on people who fly the most, with the proceeds going toward research and development into sustainable aviation fuels…The report from the nonprofit International Council on Clean Transportation recommends a frequent flier tax that starts on the second flight each person takes per year, at a rate of $9. It would then steadily increase, reaching $177 for the 20th flight in a single year. … Although the authors didn’t attempt to include private jet travel, due to a lack of data, Zheng said that including a similar tax for those using private jets could further shift the burden to the world’s wealthiest consumers.
A Colorado school district encouraged its physical education (P.E.) teachers to don LGBT pride gear and use preferred pronouns in an effort to display their support for the LGBTQ community, according to documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation through a public records request.
On March 8, a group of Jeffco Public Schools high school teachers were trained on how to make the district’s P.E. programs “even more inclusive,” where all students feel welcome regardless of their “race, ethnicity or sexual orientation,” according to a presentation obtained by the DCNF through a public records request. Teachers were trained to engage in “public visibility” by sporting some sort of rainbow pride gear such as a pin or t-shirt, plan or participate in pride events and practice using preferred pronouns.
“We know from research and feedback from students around the country that visibility matters immensely in building inclusion,” the presentation read. “A pin, t-shirt, flags, stickers and use of pronouns are impactful ways of making a difference.”
Teachers can participate in “public visibility” by having “safe-space and ally messages” in waiting areas, hallways and in the locker room, the training stated. Teachers can also wear a “scarf, shirt, tie, lapel pin and shoes” to send a “strong message of support.”
“Guessing” someone’s preferred pronouns can be “offensive and harassing,” while using “correct” pronouns is a good way to show someone you respect them, the training stated. The presentation suggested that teachers include their pronouns on a white board, in their email signature, on their zoom profile and on their business cards.
Students should be allowed to use locker rooms and participate in P.E. classes on the basis of gender identity rather than biological sex, though each transgender student should be assessed on a case-by-case basis, the training stated. To create an “inclusive and safe” locker room, the training suggested teachers use an “anonymous tip box” or “offer alternative spaces.”
“Unless precluded by state interscholastic association policies, students should be permitted to participate in interscholastic athletics in a manner consistent with their gender identity,” the training read.
For sports teams, teachers and coaches were encouraged to document “inclusion” and potentially modify team policies to state that all students are welcome “regardless of race, religion, sexuality or gender identity,” the training stated.
LGBTQ students experience “barriers” that keep them from exercising such as a “lack of safe spaces” in locker rooms and bathrooms, and “gendered classes and teams,” the training showed.
The Education Department (ED) released proposed changes to Title IX in April that, if adopted, would bar public K-12 schools and colleges from adopting a “one-size-fits-all-policy” and prohibit students from joining sports teams on the basis of gender identity. School districts throughout the nation are adopting policies to separate sports teams on the basis of gender identity rather than biological sex; in April, the San Francisco State University athletics director claimed there is no “competitive” difference between men and women in sports.
“We will learn from each other to increase the sense of belonging for our students that identify as LGBTQ+, especially in the world of sports and PE,” the presentation stated.
Jeffco Public Schools did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

Tuesday on MSNBC, former FBI Director James Comey declared former President Trump to be a “threat” to the rule of law, a few weeks after Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation concluded that Comey’s FBI failed to uphold its “mission of strict fidelity to the law.”
“He represents a serious threat to the rule of law in this country,” Comey claimed when asked if he’s worried about another Trump presidency. “And anyone with eyes to see can see that.”
The Durham report found that both the FBI and the Department of Justice failed in their mission to uphold the law by launching the investigation into allegations that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia. Durham found there was no sufficient evidence to begin that probe.
Comey has also been criticized for not pursuing charges against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton despite acknowledging she mishandled classified information on a private email server. The Durham report also concluded that the FBI displayed “markedly different” treatment of the Clinton and Trump campaigns during its investigations.
In a separate MSNBC appearance, Comey responded to the Durham report’s conclusions about improper FBI actions by stating “there’s always going to be mistakes” in FBI investigations. “It doesn’t mean the FBI isn’t competent, honest and independent,” Comey explained.
Yes it does, and it also means Comey is a Deep State traitor.

Biden and the Democrats are funding the murder of Jews.
The Muslim terrorist campaign, funded by foreign aid from the United States, continues. The latest casualty is Meir Tamari.
(JNS) – A 32-year-old Israeli man was killed on Tuesday in a terrorist shooting near the Jewish community of Hermesh in northwestern Samaria.
The victim, identified as Meir Tamari, sustained a bullet wound to the upper body, medics said. He received treatment at the scene before being evacuated by helicopter to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera, where he was pronounced dead.
Tamari is survived by his wife and two children, ages one and three.
The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades claimed responsibility for the shooting.
Meir Tamari is the 20th victim of Islamic terrorism in Israel so far this year. That tops the combined number of Israeli deaths in all of 2019 and 2020 under Trump. At this rate, there will likely be more Israelis killed in 2023 than during the entire Trump administration.
As I wrote earlier this year, this is due to the Biden administration’s decision to provide political support and funding for the terrorists.
In Feb 2019, President Trump’s total cutoff of aid became official. That year, 10 Israelis or people in Israeli controlled areas were killed in stabbings, shootings, rocket and other attacks, down from 12 the previous year, and 15 in 2017, and 16 in 2016.
In 2020 however only three Israelis were killed.
More murders comes down to more money.
The Trump administration cut off aid to the PLO’s Palestinian Authority and Congress passed the Taylor Force Act banning funds from going to finance Pay-to-Slay.
Throughout all this, PLO leadership have been consistent in refusing to stop financing terrorism.
“We will neither reduce nor prevent [payment] of allowances to the families of martyrs, prisoners and released prisoners, as some seek, and if we had only a single penny left, we would pay it to families of the martyrs and prisoners,” Abbas had bragged. By “martyrs”, he meant those Islamic terrorists who were killed while carrying out terrorist attacks.
Despite this, the Biden administration had restored aid and rebuilt diplomatic relations. Biden and Blinken have met with Abbas. And while they have attacked Israel over everything from letting Jews pray on the Temple Mount (due to Jewish prayers offending Muslim sensibilities) to democratic judicial reform that will limit the unilateral authority of pro-terrorist judges, Biden and Blinken have had nothing to say to the terrorists about the program funding the murder of Jews.
Terrorists are paid based on the length of their prison sentence. That means successful killers can earn $2,000 to $3,000 a month in a part of the world where the average salary is around $700 a month. It’s five times more profitable to be a terrorist than a teacher.
The Palestinian Authority calls for the murder of Jews, praises it and then rewards it.
And the Biden administration rewards the Palestinian Authority.
In a statement carried by Palestinian media, the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group, loosely linked to the Palestinian Authority’s ruling Fatah party, claimed responsibility for the deadly attack.
“We affirm that this operation and others will not be the final response to our martyrs,” the statement read.

Thanks to a misreading of the Constitution, America is becoming more and more of a secular wasteland.
All sorts of ideas and ideologies are allowed in the public square. But not Christian ones. That exclusion does not comport with what the founders of America intended.
I thank God for people like Kirk Cameron, the actor and children’s author, who often presents a library presentation helping children learn about God, instead of promoting things like “drag queen story hour.”
It’s become a cliché to say that it is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. But Cameron is indeed lighting many candles in the darkness.
Foxnews.com wrote recently of Cameron’s “months-long tour across the country to nearly a dozen public libraries to share messages promoting family, faith and country…to bring a new story time book hour to families and children.” [If interested, you can hear Kirk Cameron discuss with me the need we have today for a new Great Awakening.]
But what about “the separation of church and state”? Indeed, we are often told that the founding fathers intended a strict “separation of church and state,” by which secularists mean a separation of God and state.
But in reality, what the founders said in the First Amendment was, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” By these words, did they intend to banish God from the public arena?
At the time they wrote those words, about half of the states had their own established churches —something never declared illegal.
Just consider a few facts about the founding fathers and religion (or the acknowledgment of God). The very same men who wrote the First Amendment (words which are now being used to keep God, and certainly Jesus, out of the public arena) did the following:
Created the system of chaplains for the military and for the legislature.
Adopted the Northwest Ordinance, which said that schools should be encouraged in America so that they could teach “Religion, morality, and knowledge” (in that order).
Acknowledged the Christian Sabbath in the Constitution. Article 1, Section 7 includes this statement: “If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted).”
Said that God is the source of our rights (in the Declaration of Independence). Had presidents sworn in on the Holy Bible from the very beginning, adding the oath, “So help me God” in the process.
Delivered speeches and wrote documents that mentioned God over and over.
Called for national days of fasting and prayer and thanksgiving.
And on and on it goes.
In fact, consider one instance of the last example. The same men in the First Congress who had adopted the First Amendment (now used to exclude Christianity from the public square) wrote to the first president under the Constitution, George Washington asking him to declare a day of Thanksgiving to God.
Washington tells of their request to him “to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.”
On October 3, 1789, George Washington complied and declared a day of thanksgiving to the Lord to take place November 26. Later, Abraham Lincoln made Thanksgiving an annual holiday.
The founders did not intend for there to be a separation of God from government. They simply did not want one national denomination holding the reins of power.
As my good friend, Bill Federer, best-selling author and speaker, likes to say, you can compare religious liberty in America to a pebble thrown in a pond.
For example, in our upcoming special “Endowed by Their Creator” in the Foundation for American Liberty filmseriesfor Providence Forum, Federer makes this observation: “When you look at the founding of America, you see how Christians came up with the idea of tolerance, and then, expanded it to others. So, every colony was founded by a different denomination. It’s like you drop the pebble in the pond and the ripples go out. First it was tolerance only for the denomination that started the colony. Then it went out to Protestants, then it went out to Catholics, then it went out to Jews, then it went out to [general] monotheism, polytheists, and any religion. Finally went out to the atheists, and the last ones in kicked the first ones out.”
The founders would well be aghast at what has happened to our country because of the ongoing jihad against God in the public square. As Washington himself noted in his Farewell Address, “Religion and morality are indispensable supports to good government and the happiness of mankind.”

Bioweapon
At the EU Parliament COVID Conference, Dr. David Martin stated, “Coronavirus as a model of a pathogen was isolated in 1965. Coronavirus was identified in 1965 as one of the first infectious replicable viral models that could be used to modify a series of other experiences of the human condition. It was isolated once upon a time associated with the common cold. What is so interesting about its isolation in 1965 is that it was immediately identified as a pathogen that can be modified for a whole host of reasons. In 1966 the UK and USA got together and did just that…a biological. In 1967 they inoculated people with the first modified coronavirus.”
Fleming stated that there is no evidence that Sars-CoV-2, the virus that causes C-19, is naturally occurring. There is no animal model for it.
“The biological weapons convention treaty states that any adjustment or modification of a biological agent like this virus, that doesn’t provide a benefit for mankind, is a biological weapon. These particular changes in this virus, including the PrrA Insert which are amino acids that were inserted that are very critical, for the urine cleavage site, for this virus to infect. The insertion sites that were made with HIV and simian or ape-like HIV equivalent viruses, the prion-like domain at the top of the spike protein, as well as the HIV glycoprotein 120 insert, that Shi Zhengli put in early on, that’s critical for the attachment of this virus to cells, all of which are not naturally occurring.”
Dr. Fleming stated that they looked at all the different coronaviruses that exist on the planet and none of them have the PrrA Insert, nor the tremendous amount of HIV Insert. He said, “This is a prion like binding domain and prions are things that are abnormal proteins that cause other proteins to become abnormally folded.”
The data shows there were genetic changes made to the spike protein in a lab to create what is known as Covid-19.
“The type of research that had been done with Corona viruses, were funded by the US, supported by NIAID, NIH, Department of Defense, monies that went to Peter Daszak at ECO Health, to Ralph Baric at the University of North Carolina, to Shi Zhengli at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and to several other universities around the country, including in the state of Texas.”
Propaganda, Genocide and Slavery
Fear and propaganda, prompted obedience.
The unvaccinated were called murderers, variant factories, spreaders. Media stated they should not receive health care; they should be quarantined from society. Fauci even claimed we were propagating the outbreak. All lies.
John Abramson’s February 2023 article in Imprimis gives some shocking statistics on Big Pharma’s drugs. Germany’s Ministry of Health found that of 216 new drugs entering the German market from 2011-2017, only 54 were of “major” or considerable benefit. Thirty-seven were evaluated to be of “minor,” “less,” or “non-quantifiable” benefit. And there was “no proof of added benefit” for 125 of the drugs.
America doesn’t even have a formal mechanism of evaluating new products.
It was fear of the Jews spreading disease in Nazi Germany, fomented by Goebbels’ propaganda. With Sars-CoV-2, media’s propaganda was vicious against those who refused the vaccine. Unelected government agencies, corporations, hospitals, physician groups, all mandated the jabs. Medicine was taken over by government, just as it was in Nazi Germany.
In Nazi Germany, eugenics started with the physically disabled, mentally ill and elderly. The same thing happened in America. Scott and Cindy Schara saw the death of their high functioning Down Syndrome daughter, Grace. She was given three palliative care injections within 30 minutes repressing her already compromised respiratory system.
Midazolam was purchased in huge quantities in the UK and the US, and it was prescribed in lethal doses to C-19 patients.
The result was genocide…murder.
In March and April of 2020, the wealthiest countries in the world, United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, issued directives to hospitals not to treat the elderly. The NIH hospital protocols guaranteed mass euthanasia.
Governor Andrew Cuomo predicted the virus in nursing homes would be like fire through dry grass. Elderly humans are regarded as an economic burden, “useless eaters” or as Harari calls them, “superfluous people.” The US has never owned up to their genocidal policy against the elderly when five state governors put C-19 patients in nursing homes. In New York City alone, 15,000 elderlies died.
Andrew Cuomo was persuaded to do this by the insurance industry of New York and then he gave immunity to the hospitals and nursing homes.
Cost of the elderly and infirm was eliminated.
On page 170 of the Pfizer Documents Analysis Report, Pfizer knew their drug, Prevnar, a pneumococcal drug, may prevent C-19 in age 65 and older. Prior research pointed to the protective effects of Prevnar in viral and bacterial respiratory diseases. Prevnar also showed protective effects in C-19.
Pfizer was silent.
Dr. Zev Zelenko, bless his soul, said, “Those who really should have been on trial at Nuremberg, were Henry Ford who received an award from Hitler in 1938 equal to the U.S. Medal of Honor, Rockefeller owned the company that made Zyklon B to gas the Jews, GM made 75% of the trucks for the Nazi War machine, and IBM provided the primitive computer punch card system in order to manage the concentration camps.
“There are underlings, politicians, agencies, corporations etc. who are accessories to genocide, but unless we cut off the head, they’re just going to do it again.”
Vera Sharav stated, “The efficiency of IBM technology enabled industrialized level genocide and they are now at it again. It was IBM who Governor Cuomo of New York State contracted for the Vax Passport. The digital identity they’re now pushing is the ticket to slavery.”
Unless you were jabbed, you weren’t allowed in restaurants, bars, theatres, sports arenas, etc.

Once we go into this digital system, the government will control everything we do. Trudeau gave a hint of this when he cut off protesting truckers from their bank accounts and even from their children.
Obedience ends in slavery.
Dr. Zelenko commented, “We have a few global psychopaths/sociopaths who have engineered a brilliant plan, evil, but brilliant, to enable the enslavement of humanity.”
Their plans will seem to succeed for a while, but our Creator will intervene and those evil plans will ultimately fail.
Rockefeller’s 2010, Operation Lockstep, stated, “Even after the pandemic is over, the researchers wrote that the authoritarian control would remain with supervision of the citizens and their activities.” Link
There is now a medical insurance code for Americans who have not received the C-19 injections. Yes, they’re watching us.
Medicine abandoned their Hippocratic oath to “do no harm” and fell into lockstep with the directives from unelected agencies, WHO, NIH, FDA, CDC, AMA. All were in on it. They became agents of the state, for euthanasia, infanticide and genocide. Biden handed out a billion dollars to media to run positive propaganda for the injections.

“You never let a serious crisis go to waste.” Many have made this statement and it is management by crisis to do things the governments ordinarily could not do. Klaus Schwab is the new leader for the planned “Great Reset” the Lord God warned us about. Yes, this is the unthinkable satanic evil the Bible warned us about 2,000 years ago. It will be a world where your property, your identity, your money will be controlled by government.
Surveillance, finance and scoring are the pillars of the Great Reset Agenda. Social credit scoring, as in communist China, is coming. Klaus Schwab, like Maurice Strong before him, is a big fan of China’s system and the country’s current leader.
Klaus Schwab’s father was Eugen Schwab; he was a manager of the Swiss-German company called Escher-Wyss factory in Schwab’s hometown of Ravensburg, Germany. In the 1930s, the Escher-Wyss factory was directly managed by Eugen Schwab and was the largest employer in Ravensburg. Hitler awarded Escher-Wyss with the title of “National Socialist Model Company” while Eugen was at the helm.
The Red Cross had a rumored agreement with various companies, including Escher-Wyss, that the Allied forces were not to target the Southern German town. It was never classified as a significant military target. The town was infamous in 1934 for the sterilization of people diagnosed with mental or various other illnesses.
Ravensburg was the first German city to practice eugenics by killing “useless eaters.” Yuval Noah Harari is still using this term. He tells us that we are now in another industrial revolution. Schwab calls it the 4th Industrial Revolution, but it is really the 4th Reich, worldwide fascism and death to the undesirables, those “superfluous people.”
Harari says the product in this revolution will be humans themselves and they intend to produce bodies and brains and minds via bioengineering and brain interfaces. Medical experiments and genetic modification on people, far greater than what was done with C-19 injections, will happen just like the Nazis did in their day.
Ravensburg was a transport hub for stolen Nazi gold to the Swiss Bank for International Settlements, and Eugen Schwab aided the Nazis in producing significant weapons of war and armaments. Klaus’ father was also involved in using forced laborers to work at his “model Nazi company.” Nearly 3,600 forced laborers, including POWs, made up one of the largest forced labor camps.

In 1966, Escher-Wyss had merged with the Sulzer brothers. In 1967, Klaus joined the renamed company, Sulzer-Escher-Wyss, in even darker aspects of the global nuclear arms race. Klaus also helped to rehabilitate the eugenics-influenced population control policies from the post WWII era. He transformed the company into a technology corporation for a new hi-tech future, including another focus of their business to “form the basis for “medical technology” products.
In 1971 after marrying Hilde, a former assistant, he formed the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
Schwab has courted heads of state, leading business executives, and the elite of academic and scientific circles into the Davos fold for over 50 years. More recently, he has also courted the ire of many due to his more recent role as the front man of the Great Reset, a sweeping effort to remake civilization globally for the express benefit of the elite of the World Economic Forum and their allies.
Klaus Schwab was born on March 30th, 1938 in Ravensburg, Germany. He and his younger brother both followed in their father’s footsteps and became machine engineers. Klaus studied for a plethora of degrees, including at Harvard where he met and was mentored by war loving Henry Kissinger.

A 1999 proclamation from former President Bill Clinton began what has become known as Pride Month. From 2009 to 2016 President Barack Obama declared June LGBT Pride Month. Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. now continues the celebration of Pride Month beginning on June 1st thru June 30th.
From a Muslim, Jewish and Christian perspective “Pride Month” is the worship of demonic sins:
Leviticus 18:22-23 states, “It is an abomination to lie with a male as with a woman and to mate with them.”
The Quran 4:16 reads, “And the two who commit it among you, dishonor them both. But if they repent and correct themselves, leave them alone. Indeed, Allah is ever Accepting of repentance and Merciful.” Al-Araf 80-81 reads, “And [We had sent] Lot when he said to his people. Do you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds? Indeed, you approach men with desire, instead of women. Rather, you are a transgressing people.”
The Torah in Genesis 19:4-5 reads, “But before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both young and old, all the people to the last man, surrounded the house; and they called to Lot, ‘Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us, so that we may know them.’”
One of the Seven Deadly Sins is Pride.Pride is an excessive view of one’s self without regard for others. The Bible says the following in Jeremiah 9:23-24, “…Let not the mighty man boast of his might…but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me…” Pride is also mentioned in the following verses: Proverbs 8:13, Proverbs 16:18, Romans 12:16, 1 Corinthians 13:4, Galatians 6:3 and James 4:6-7.
We now see rainbow flags in public schools. But from where did the rainbow originate?
Genesis 9:13 (ESV) reads, “I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.”
The first rainbow was created by God after the great flood and first seen by Noah and his family. It remains a symbol of God’s hope that His people would not stray ever again from His Commandments.
“the token of the covenant which God made with Noah when he came forth from the ark that the waters should no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. The right interpretation of (Genesis 9:13) seems to be that God took the rainbow, which had hitherto been but a beautiful object shining in the heavens when the sun’s rays fell on falling rain, and consecrated it as the sign of his love and the witness of his promise. Ecclesiastes. 43:11.
The rainbow is a symbol of God’s faithfulness and mercy. The “rainbow around the throne” (Revelation 4:3 ) is seen as the symbol of hope and the bright emblem of mercy and love, all the more accurate as a symbol because it is reflected from the storm itself.”
Pride Month and the Rainbow Flag are an abomination to God/Allah.
Today it is important to understand that Pride and the Rainbow are being used not as “signs of love and the witness of His promise.”
Rather they are a demonic celebration of lust, pedophilia, perversion and pederasty which is a sexual relationship between an adult man and a boy.
Pride Month has all the marks of the seven deadly sins:
A proud look,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
A heart that devises wicked plans,
feet that are swift in running to evil,
A false witness who speaks lies,
and one who sows discord among brethren.
Sadly, many teachers, politicians, faith leaders, corporate CEOs, young people and adults have embraced Pride Month as the “new normal.”

Since this column is about Critical Thinking, it seems appropriate that we at least do a periodic, quickie overview of how to think critically…
Not surprisingly, most people label themselves as critical thinkers. But are they?
Likewise, most teachers contend that they teach Critical Thinking. But do they?
The concept of critical thinking is not complex. One way to define Critical Thinking is to call it advanced problem-solving. Another way is to look at how it works in practice: when we are faced with an important decision, if we want better results we need to objectively and thoroughly analyze both sides of an issue.
Let’s say that you are a farmer, who is financially just getting by. A good-ole-boy salesperson comes to your door (purposefully dressed down), and offers to lease a relatively small part of your spread for some industrial wind turbines. The deal is that his firm would pay you $400,000 cash ($20,000 per year for the next 20 years). He says: “Just say yes to this very reasonable agreement and it’s a done deal.”
Wow, you think, this could be life-changing! “Where do I sign?” you hear yourself saying. But WAIT! This is exactly the type of case where Critical Thinking is essential. You are about to make a 20+ year commitment, that has enormous implications.
Let’s THINK about this. To begin with, most decisions have both an emotional and logical component. They both need to be fully engaged. The farmer’s initial response was emotional — as he saw himself sitting on a Florida beach. That’s fine as long as the logical part also makes sense. This is where thorough and objective come in.
He does understand that he is being given a one-sided sale pitch. What does he know about this salesman or the wind developer? Nothing! What is he legally agreeing to when he accepts this deal? No idea! (It’s spelled out in a 34-page contract.) Has he read every word of the contract? No! Does he fully understand every part of it? No!
As a minimum, he should hire a competent attorney, and specifically instruct the lawyer to tell him EVERYTHING that is potentially problematic in this contract.
He should also reach out to those who are opposed to industrial wind energy, and carefully listen to their arguments. The lease money is one thing, but there are other adverse consequences to his family, to his neighbors, and to his community. Doing this, he comes across a webpage which identifies many wind energy liabilities, and a document where forty (40) potential adverse consequences to farmers are listed. OMG!
The choice here is stark: 1) go the emotional route, focusing on the money, or2) do Critical Thinking and see the whole matter from a much more accurate perspective.
The benefits of Critical Thinking apply to hundreds of life choices — from who you are going to vote for, to whether or not you are going to attend church.
When should we learn how to do Critical Thinking? Easy: the sooner the better. Every year that goes by without that ability, you are much more likely to be victimized by con artists or to make mistakes that might have lifelong implications.
Where do we learn how to do critical thinking? The most logical place is in K-12 Science classes. Why? Because real Scientists are taught to question everything. Real Scientists do not rely on “consensus” or “peer review” (another form of consensus).
When a technical matter is being debated (e.g., Is wind energy a net societal benefit?), they conduct a scientific analysis, which has four (4) components. Such an evaluation is: 1) objective, 2) comprehensive, 3) empirical, and 4) transparent.
Note that the first two parts are the same thing that any critically thinking citizen will automatically do!
The bottom line of this brief overview is that critical thinking should be specifically and carefully taught in K-12 Science classes so that it becomes second nature. Why isn’t this already happening in our education system?
A major reason is that the powers-that-be who are controlling our K-12 educational standards (e.g., NGSS), do not want critically thinking citizens. Of course they do not acknowledge that, but the proof is in the pudding.
A few years ago the Center for Critical Thinking was asked to conduct a study for the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to determine the extent to which teacher preparation programs were preparing prospective teachers to teach critical thinking. The study showed that although most faculty considered critical thinking to be of primary importance to instruction (89%), only 19% could adequately articulate what critical thinking is.
“The reason teacher preparation programs fail to place critical thinking at the heart of the curriculum is two-fold,” says educational psychologist and critical thinking specialist Linda Elder. “First, faculty who control and teach the curriculum simply don’t know what critical thinking is. Second, they think they do.”
Critical thinking fosters independence, enhances creativity, and encourages curiosity. Kids who are taught to use critical thinking skills ask a lot of questions and never take things at face value—they want to know the “why” behind things.
Good critical thinking skills also can lead to better relationships, reduced stress, and improved life satisfaction. Those who can solve everyday problems will feel more confident in their ability to handle whatever challenges life throws their way.
There is an abundance of published material on how to become a critical thinker (e.g., see next two paragraphs). If one didn’t know any better, one may conclude that since there is plenty of material available to have a K-12 course specifically dedicated to learning how to Critically Think, that our education leaders are purposefully avoiding it — i.e., it is NOT a top objective of our current education system…
PS — Adults who were deprived of that educational experience in school can learn to do critical thinking if they are committed to making it happen — just as with any other skill. They should want to do this, as it is in their interest to do so. “How to Learn Critical Thinking” has many worthwhile points.
Dozens of major corporations lack adequate protections for free speech and religion even as several companies have improved since last year, a new study suggests.
The study was conducted in partnership with the investment technology service Inspire Insight, which provides faith-based investing data and ratings to thousands of institutions.
Only two of the 75 companies examined had scored over 25 in their respect for speech and religion. ADF contends that “millions of everyday Americans are at risk of cancelation or punishment for their views.”
The bottom five companies when it comes to respecting free speech and religious freedom rights are Airbnb (2%), Amazon.com (4%), Alphabet (Google) (4%), eBay (5%) and Microsoft (5%). Those companies saw their scores drop by 3%, 2%, 5%, 2% and 0%, respectively, compared to last year.
“Threats to freedom don’t just come from the government, but from major corporations like financial institutions and big tech companies that have concentrated power over essential services and communication channels,” said ADF Senior Counsel and Senior Vice President for Corporate Engagement Jeremy Tedesco. “Too often, these corporations de-bank or deplatform Americans, citing policies that give them unbounded discretion to censor people for their views.”
Only one of the companies analyzed, Fidelity National Information Services, received an overall score of 50%. This marks a 32% jump from last year, when it received a score of 18%. M&T Bank received an overall score of 25%, an 11% jump from the 14% it earned last year.
Businesses studied in the research include those in “industries that have the greatest potential to impact individuals’ or institutions’ freedom of speech or religion,” including banking companies, payment processing services, and social media platforms. Scores were compiled based on responses companies provided to a survey commissioned by ADF.
Higher scores were given to companies that have “terms of use/service” that “avoid unclear or imprecise terms” and “avoid viewpoint discrimination” as well as “harmful conduct policies” that “apply equally.”
Additional factors that give corporations higher scores on the index include “harmful conduct policies” that “apply equally,” the presence of a “public anti-viewpoint discrimination policy,” “notice of content or service restrictions,” as well as policies promoting “respect for diverse beliefs at work” and religious discrimination.
A corporation’s score is also impacted by its advocacy on behalf of political spending, specifically whether or not it spent money in support of laws or litigation that are “harmful to speech or religion.” A company’s policy regarding written religious accommodations, or lack thereof, also factored into its score.
Other companies that saw slightly higher scores compared to last year include Citigroup, whose score rose to 11% from 8%; Morgan Stanley, 9% to 11%; Meta, 9% to 10%; Apple, 7% to 8%; Adobe, which scored 6% in 2023 compared to 5% in 2022; and GoDaddy, which rose from 2% score to 8%.
Besides the bottom five, a handful of other notable companies saw their scores decrease from last year: Rackspace (14% to 13%), Capitol One (13% to 12%), Visa (11% to 10%), Wells Fargo (13% to 10%), Citizens Financial Group (10% to 9%), JP Morgan Chase (15% to 9%), Mastercard (10% to 9%), Bank of America (10% to 8%), Discover (13% to 8%), Oracle (9% to 8%), PayPal (7% to 5%) and Twitter (6% to 5%).
Tedesco maintained that “companies need to take seriously the way their policies and practices can chill the exercise of speech and religion and deter individuals from participating in the democratic process.”
“All Americans benefit when powerful corporations respect free speech and religious freedom,” he added. “Our goal is to help the largest corporations implement positive and lasting changes that protect everyone’s free speech and religious freedom from corporate overreach. Each survey completed, resolution filed, and conversation with senior leadership advances the ball.”
Examples of troubling policies listed in the detailed report about the research, obtained by The Christian Post, include Twitter deplatforming The Babylon Bee under a “hateful conduct policy,” Netflix holding employee training promoting critical race theory and Bank of America’s restriction on donations to religious charities.
Twitter also de-platformed The Christian Post for nine months last year for factually reporting that a Biden official is a man and not a woman. CP’s account was reinstated after Elon Musk took over.

As concerns over rising crime and the mental health of minors continue to climb, a new wave of legislation aimed at reintroducing America’s youth to biblical values in school is surging.
In Texas, bills have been introduced that would require that the Ten Commandments be posted in public school classrooms and for schools to be free to hire or accept volunteer chaplains to perform services including mental health support, suicide prevention, and other services.
In Kentucky, a measure was advanced in the state House that would protect the “private religious expression” of teachers. Specific actions protected for school employees under the bill include engaging in religious discussion, sharing religious material with other employees, forming prayer groups with other employees, sponsoring a student religious club, wearing religious clothing or jewelry, and decorating their desks and personal spaces with religious items.
In Louisiana, a bill that would offer public school students in grades 9-12 a voluntary course on the Bible is currently before the state legislature. The bill’s sponsor, State Representative Valarie Hodges (R), joined “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” on Monday to discuss the legislation and the increasing openness of her fellow lawmakers to share their faith.
“[T]here were very few people who would openly profess their faith [in years past],” she noted. “Now I would say the majority of people in this legislature are not ashamed to say they’re Christians. They’re not ashamed to stand up for their faith. And it’s past time. It’s way past time that we do that. When prayer was removed out of schools and the Bible was removed, I think people are seeing the end result of that, that it’s not good.”
Hodges went on to emphasize why a course on the Bible is important for today’s public school students.
“The Bible is the most published book in the world, and it contains 6,000 years of history,” she explained. “My bill … authorizes teaching the Bible as literature and history. And what better book could we get our history from? It’s got the most history [of any book] in the world. … [O]ur laws that we have in the United States, our culture, art, so much is encapsulated in the Bible. … My bill [is a] first step [so] we can get the Bible into the hands of students to actually understand what [it] is about.”
Hodges further highlighted how a large swath of America’s youth have little knowledge of the Bible’s historical importance in America’s founding.
“Even our Declaration of Independence [in] the preamble is talking about a creator and acknowledges the creator. … I heard a statistic [that] 90% of teenagers have never read the Bible in this new generation that we have. And so they don’t have a reference point of, ‘What creator are we talking about?’ Our Founding Fathers were referencing the Bible.”
The Louisiana lawmaker additionally contended that a removal of biblical principles from public schools has led to an increase in societal lawlessness.
“When you look at the statistics on crime before the 1960s, it was nothing like it is now,” Hodges argued. “I think there’s a plausible explanation that can be found. … Where do we get our morality from? We get our morality from the Bible. … I was talking to a group last night. We were talking about the murder rates, the crime rates, homelessness, and all this that we’re seeing. Well, we used to teach that stealing is a sin. And we’re not right now. … [If you say] that things are ‘immoral’ — you get laughed at if you use that word anymore. But I think it’s becoming apparent that there is a crisis of morality in our nation. And we’ve got to restore that.”
Hodges expressed hope that her legislation will serve as a model in order to help clear up misconceptions about the idea of the separation of church and state.
“I really hope to see schools adopting this and teachers teaching this because there’s been a lot of confusion in the schools that I’ve [visited when] talking to teachers. … So that was one of the impetuses for me — filing the bill is to clear up any confusion. The Supreme Court ruled that schools can teach the Bible in public schools and private schools. I’m hoping this bill … will clear up any confusion and encourage schools to adopt this course and teachers to teach it.”
