Patriotic Reboot Doesn’t Change Bud Light’s Sobering Outlook

It’s Public Relations 101. When you’re getting hammered by critics, distract. If you can’t change the narrative, try changing the subject. Unfortunately, that trick doesn’t always work, as the big cheeses at Anheuser-Busch are quickly learning. After the worst two weeks in the company’s 171-year history, CEO Brendan Whitworth did his best “Hey, look over here!” moment. But it, like their low-level decision to debase women and alienate core consumers, bombed.

Any other time, the iconic Clydesdales galloping across picturesque American landmarks would have been a slam dunk. Until recently, the patriotic shots of couples waving their flags or women pledging allegiance would’ve been considered “on brand” for any Budweiser ad. Now, customers see it for what it is: a non-apology apology from a company that thinks slapping the stars and stripes on a commercial will help people forget they made a mockery of women to sell beer.

Or not sell beer, as the case may be. “Steep” doesn’t begin to describe the cost of partnering with Dylan Mulvaney, Hollywood’s favorite dress-wearing son. Since plastering cans with his pitiful imitation of Audrey Hepburn, Anheuser-Busch has lost a whopping $6 billion in market capitalization — ironically turning the beer into the “out of touch” “brand in decline” that Bud’s millennial managers claimed they were avoiding.

Their refusal to read the room is forcing Whitworth to pivot, as even the GOP presidential candidates take turns making Bud Light the butt of every joke. Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy seized the moment to introduce “Bud Right” koozies. “There are *two* genders,” the Strive Asset Management co-founder tweeted. “Men are men & women are women. Don’t apologize for the truth.”

Fellow 2024 hopeful and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) took aim with a killer parody of Bud Light’s “Real Men of Genuis” ad series of the early 2000s. In it, he shows a series of trans-identifying athletes like Lia Thomas with a stinging voiceover: “Once mediocre in the men’s division, now cream of the crop in the women’s. You couldn’t cut it with the boys, so you pushed women off the podium. Because without you, sports would be fair. Without you, women’s sports would be for, well, women.”

And instead of walking back the deal that has country musicians shooting cases of his beer and smashing cans on stage, Whitworth released a nothing burger statement about “never intend[ing] to be a part of a discussion that divides people. We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer.” Ironically, that is something the company managed to accomplish, as a clear majority unite around the decision not to support the brand.

When Rasmussen asked Americans about the debacle this week, more than half (54%) said they supported boycotting Anheuser-Busch. Only 30% were opposed, and 16% were unsure. “…[I]t’s pretty clear they stepped in a hornets’ nest,” Rasmussen’s Mark Mitchell said.

Meanwhile, almost comically, Democrats set out to prove that a beer that shills for transgenderism is just fine with them. In what many are calling the “most cringe” photo op ever, Reps. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.), Mark Takanko (D-Calif.), Judy Chu (D-Calif.), and Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) forced a picture where all of them are enjoying conveniently posed Bud Lights. As candids go, it was a bust. “How convenient that all of the labels are facing the camera,” The Daily Caller’s Kay Smythe jabbed. It’s also “so strange that no one is talking but everyone is smiling.” And “why is there literally no one else in the photo? Oh, because it’s staged, of course!” she mocked.

Of course, Democrats have been willing sycophants of this transgender absurdity since day one. Republicans, if they’re smart, will stay on course, leaning into the outrage of the American people. This idea that the GOP and groups like the National Republican Congressional Committee should back off their attacks, when the American people are with them, is ludicrous. So what if the company is a major donor? If April’s freefall is any indication, they won’t have much money to give.

As the GOP’s conquering hero of corporate activism urged, no conservative should be lifting a finger to help Bud Light. “I mean, honestly,” DeSantis said, “that’s like them rubbing our faces in it. And… [if] these companies that do this, if they never have any response, they’re just gonna keep doing it.” This is not a one-off, he argued. “[I]t’s part of a larger thing where corporate America is trying to change our country, trying to change policy, trying to change culture. You know, I’d rather be governed by ‘We the people’ than woke companies. So I think pushback is in order across the board.”

Family Research Council’s Meg Kilgannon agreed. On “Washington Watch” Monday, she insisted that the only way corporate America will quit “marching to the beat of the leftist drum” is if “we make it hard on their bottom line. And if we don’t continue this pressure, then [that will be] difficult.”

Anheuser-Busch’s latest ad ended by saying, “This is a story that’s bigger than beer.” The same could be said here. As FRC President Tony Perkins pointed out on “Washington Watch,” “…[C]orporate America has become intoxicated with this woke agenda. … It impacts the Anheuser-Busch Corporation and all the other corporations [watching] this happening. So they have to take note. … In this case, it would be good for people to fall off the Budweiser wagon.”

Two Street Riots, One Weekend: The Violent Legacy of Anti-Parent Policies

Hundreds of people blocking streets, looting stores, and destroying property should not be normal occurrences. They are not normal in a peaceful, prosperous society. Alas, they are increasingly normal in America’s large cities. Unusually violent street incidents in Chicago and Los Angeles over the weekend illustrate the nation’s civilizational decline and point to at least one of the (many) causes.

Videos captured early Sunday morning show that a mob approximately 100 strong smashed through a glass door at an Arco gas station in Compton, California and ransacked the place while the overnight clerk hid in the bathroom. The “mob of looters … left a trail of destruction” at multiple stores, according to one local news report, while another said sheriff’s deputies received reports of gunshots in the area. Police arrived too late to stop the mayhem — not to mention being wildly outnumbered — but are reviewing video for possible charges.

The incident was apparently related to illegal street takeovers — at least three occurred Sunday night — connected to illegal street racing. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant Clarence Williams said the street takeovers occur “just about every weekend.” Local resident Kevin Evans said of the perpetrators, “I don’t think they are Compton residents. We don’t tear up our own city like this.” (That hasn’t always been true.)

Meanwhile in Chicago, hundreds of teens swarmed the city’s downtown area on Saturday night, climbing on buses, smashing car windows, attacking bystanders, and generally creating chaos. Two teens were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds, while a woman said her husband was hospitalized after a crowd smashed their windshield and beat him severely. The under-age crowd attempted to enter Millennium Park, where people under 21 are not allowed without an adult. Assisted by SWAT teams, hundreds of Chicago police attempted to restore order and escort tourists to safety. Police arrested nine adults and six juveniles, a slim fraction of the lawbreakers that night.

Saturday’s violence wasn’t the first time. On Friday, “a similar gathering” of hundreds of teens at 31st Street Beach turned violent when a 14-year-old was shot, and other cars were damaged, including one set on fire. One eyewitness described “kids fighting, chasing each other, some of them got guns.” The incidents also echo last year’s “Teen Takeover,” when, Chicago’s downtown was plunged into “absolute chaos” as mayoral candidate Paul Vallas tweeted. “Juveniles jumping on top of buses, cars, terrorizing residents, tourists & businesses. These mass groups fought CPD [Chicago Police Department] & only minimal arrests were made.” Sadly, Chicago’s routine violence only receives widespread attention when it spills out into affluent neighborhoods.

Multiple eyewitnesses laid at least part of the blame for the Chicago chaos at the feet of parents. “What’s it going to take?” asked one witness. “The community has to step up, parents have to step up, we can’t keep blaming politicians and waiting on them.” Outgoing Mayor Lori Lightfoot made the same point. “Parents and guardians must know where their children are and be responsible for their actions. Instilling the important values of respect for people and property must begin at home.”

Another anonymous Chicago native perhaps said it best, “Where are their parents at? That’s my question.”

That’s a great question. First, it rightly intuits that parents bear a responsibility for their children’s moral formation.

Second, it points toward at least a piece of the solution: parents are absent because they have been shut out of a position of influence in their children’s lives — by design. Education experts believe they know better than parents and therefore can supersede a parent’s authority. “I have a master’s degree,” testified Arizona teacher Alicia Messing. “What do the parents have?” She added, “the purpose of public education is not to teach only what parents want their children to be taught, it is to teach them what society needs them to be taught.”

Left-wing politicians are 110% behind the arrogant absolutism of the Educrats. As former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe accidentally said out loud in the 2021 campaign, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.” Of course, that predictably unpopular narrative — McAuliffe lost his bid to retake the governor’s mansion — has leftists such as White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre or Education Secretary Miguel Cardona searching around for a more sympathetic framing. They much prefer a “parents versus Republican politicians” narrative to the “parents versus teachers” reality.

As a result, more than 5,000 schools now allow — or require! — teachers to hide a child’s gender identity from parents, according to a report by Parents Defending Education. Schools have stocked closets with clothing so that students can cross-dress at school to keep their gender identity secret from their parents. They have continued to stonewall parents, even after parents have sued them, or their children attempted suicide. One Wisconsin teacher posted in her classroom, “If your parents aren’t accepting of your identity, I’m your mom now.”

If parents lack the moral authority to even know when their children attempt suicide, how can they be expected to effectively steer their teens away from street crime?

Both Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and Chicago Public Schools (CPS) — which are also home to some of the nation’s most powerful teachers unions — endorse this radical, new agenda of hiding essential information about a students’ identity from their parents.

It gets worse. After undermining parental influence, many schools are training children up to be left-wing activists. New curricula, some of which has been promoted in mainstream media, not only claims that activism makes children better students and better citizens, but teaches them how to do it. It’s no accident that high school students — or even younger — routinely walk out of class to participate in left-wing protests; their teachers are training and encouraging them to do so. Sure enough, there is evidence — although they try to downplay it — that LAUSD and CPS are encouraging their students in activism. Why, then, are we surprised when youth in Los Angeles and Chicago take over the streets?

Illinois state Senator Robert Peters (D), the senate black caucus chair, explicitly identified the Chicago violence with political activism, “I would look at the behavior of young people as a political act and statement. It’s a mass protest against poverty and segregation.” There’s only one problem: the word for non-governmental actors employing violence in pursuit of a political objective is not “protest”; it’s “terrorism.” For that reason, let’s hope Mr. Peters is incorrect.

“One of God’s great gifts to humanity is restraint. And when those restraints are taken off of a society, horrible things happen,” Dr. Al Mohler said last week on “Washington Watch.” “Frankly, you look at America’s major cities, [and] you don’t see much restraint about anything.” This past weekend made his point.

Looking for answers to the autism epidemic in all the wrong places

According to the Atlanta-based U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s latest statistics, in 2020 one in 36 children (approximately four percent of boys and one percent of girls) was estimated to have autism spectrum disorder, estimates that are significantly higher than those in all previous years. White children are about 19 percent more likely than black children and 65 percent more likely than Hispanic children to be diagnosed with autism.

Experts offer various reasons for the general increase in this condition:

  • The role that being an older parent plays not only in the incidence of autism but also Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities.
  • Genes.
  • “Something” in the environment.
  • The increasing number of vaccines given to infants and children, which today routinely number 16.

What is consistently omitted, however, is the role that ultrasound exams during pregnancy may and probably do play not only in this seeming black/white disparity, but in the rapidly escalating incidence of the condition. More about that below.

Autism is a neurological disorder that affects the normal development of the brain, causing self-defeating behaviors and an inability to form social relationships. It usually appears before the age of three. Most scientists believe that autism is strongly influenced by genetics but allow that environmental factors may also play a role.

To be diagnosed on the autistic spectrum, a child must have deficits in three areas:

  1. Communication (most children can’t make eye contact; others can’t speak).
  2. Social skills (typified by disinterest in both people and surroundings).
  3. Typically “normal” behavior (many autistic children have tics, repetitive behavior, inappropriate affects, et al).

Those diagnosed on the autistic spectrum range from high-functioning, self-sufficient people, even geniuses, to those who need lifelong supportive help.

The increased incidence of autism has been attributed by legions of parents and a number of professionals to the mercury-containing preservative thimerosol, used to prevent bacterial or fungal contamination in the vaccines babies and children routinely receive.

This is not backed up by hard science.

Thimerosol, which has been used in vaccines since the 1930s, has not been used in the U.S. since 2001 and the vaccine dosages containing the preservative that were given before then had about the same amount of mercury found in an infant’s daily supply of breast milk.

Numerous studies––by the Centers for Disease Control, the Institute of Medicine, American Academy of Pediatrics, the World Health Organization, and the National Academy of Sciences, among others––have found no autism-vaccine link, while other studies have shown an increase in autism in countries that have removed thimerosal from vaccines.

Nevertheless, aided by salivating personal-injury lawyers, parents have filed multi-thousands of lawsuits claiming that thimerosol “caused” their children’s autism. Between late 1999 and late 2002, mercury was removed from most childhood vaccines, including DPT (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis), Hepatitis B, and Hib [Haemophilus influenza b]. The MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), which is a live vaccine, is not compatible with thimerosal.

In the early ’70s, I worked as a delivery-room nurse at a university-affiliated hospital near my home on Long Island. It was a revolutionary time in obstetrics, when the Lamaze method of “prepared childbirth” and the use of sonograms to visualize fetuses were gaining popularity.

Actually, ultrasound technology was first developed in Scotland in the mid-1950s by obstetrician Ian Donald and engineer Tom Brown to detect industrial flaws in ships. By the end of the ’50s, ultrasound was routinely used in Glasgow hospitals, but it was just into the 1970s before it was used in American hospitals to check that the developing baby, placenta, and amniotic fluid were normal and to detect abnormal conditions such as birth defects and ectopic pregnancies, et al.

At the end of the ’70s, I became a certified Lamaze teacher and spent the next 22 years giving classes in my home. In a very real way, I had my own laboratory, as I learned directly from my clients about the increasing escalation of sonogram exams they had as the decades elapsed.

In the early 1980s, it was common for only one or two out of the 10 women in my classes to have a sonogram. In just a few years, every woman in my classes had had a sonogram. And in the late ’80s and ’90s, almost every woman had not one sonogram, but often two or three or four or five – starting as early as three or four weeks gestation and extending, in some instances, right up to delivery!

It was in the ’90s, in fact, that it began to occur to me that the scary rise in the incidence of autism might be linked to the significant rise in ultrasound exams. Over the years, I’ve posited my theory to a number of people, written letters to the editors of newspapers – including the NY Times, for which I wrote for over 20 years, but they still refused to publish my letter – and e-mailed my idea to one of the top news people at the Fox News Network, but the “we report/you decide” powers-that-be on that station strangely decided not to report on this subject.

I contacted autism researchers Dr. Marcel Just and Dr. Diane L. Williams, who told me via e-mail that Dr. Pasko Rakic at Yale was, indeed, exploring the autism-ultrasound link.

Then, in 2006, I found an article in Midwifery Today, “Questions about Prenatal Ultrasound and the Alarming Increase in Autism,” by writer-researcher Caroline Rodgers.
“The steep increase in autism,” Rodgers wrote, “goes beyond the U.S.: It is a “global phenomenon”… that “has emerged…across vastly different environments and cultures.”

“What do countries and regions with climates, diets and exposure to known toxins as disparate as the U.S., Japan, Scandinavia, Australia, India and the UK have in common?” Rodgers asked.

“No common factor in the water, air, local pesticides, diet or even building materials and clothing can explain the emergence and relentless increase in this serious, life-long neurodevelopmental disorder,” she stated.

However, Rodgers added: “What all industrial countries do have in common is …the use of routine prenatal ultrasound on pregnant women. In countries with nationalized healthcare, where virtually all pregnant women are exposed to ultrasound, the autism rates are even higher than in the U.S., where due to disparities in income and health insurance, some 30 percent of pregnant women do not yet undergo ultrasound scanning.” Aha! Could this be why blacks and Hispanics in America continue to lag behind whites in the development of autism?

Even in remote, rural regions of developing countries like China, ultrasound is in common use because sex determination was so important to their one-child – preferably male – policy, which they scrapped in 2016 for a two-child policy.

The cause of autism, Rodgers continues, “has been pinned on everything from ’emotionally remote’ mothers…to vaccines, genetics, immunological disorders, environmental toxins and maternal infections. A far simpler possibility…is the pervasive use of prenatal ultrasound, which can cause potentially dangerous thermal effects.

In August 2006, Pasko Rakic, M.D., chair of Yale School of Medicine’s Department of Neurobiology, announced the results of a study in which pregnant mice underwent various durations of ultrasound. The brains of the offspring showed damage consistent with that found in the brains of people with autism.

The research, funded by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, also implicated ultrasound in neurodevelopmental problems in children, such as dyslexia, epilepsy, mental retardation and schizophrenia, and showed that damage to brain cells increased with longer exposures.

Dr. Rakic’s study, Rodgers said, “… is just one of many animal experiments and human studies conducted over the years indicating that prenatal ultrasound can be harmful to babies.”

In, Jennifer Margulis, author of Business of Baby: What Doctors Don’t Tell You, What Corporations Try to Sell You, and How to Put Your Baby Before Their Bottom Linewrites that Dr. Rakic “concluded that all nonmedical use of ultrasound on pregnant women should be avoided.”

In her research, Margulis said, she discovered that “there is mounting evidence that overexposure to sound waves – or perhaps exposure to sound waves at a critical time during fetal development – is to blame for the astronomic rise in neurological disorders among America’s children.”

A 2009 article in Scientific American by John Slocum explains that sonar (Sound Navigation And Ranging) systems, which were first developed by the U.S. Navy to detect enemy submarines, “generate slow-rolling sound waves topping out at around 235 decibels; the world’s loudest rock bands top out at only 130. These sound waves can travel for hundreds of miles under water and can retain an intensity of 140 decibels as far as 300 miles from their source.”

This is relevant because many mass deaths and strandings of whales and dolphins have been attributed to the sonar waves emitted from Navy ships. Slocum writes that a successful 2003 lawsuit against the Navy brought by the nonprofit Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) to restrict the use of low-frequency sonar in waters rich in marine wildlife was upheld by two lower courts, but the Supreme Court “ruled that the Navy should be allowed to continue the use of some mid-frequency sonar testing for the sake of national security. ”

There are hundreds if not thousands of cases that point to the dangers of sound waves. As many as 3,000 dead dolphins were found in Peru during the summer of 2012. Researchers at the Organization for the Conservation of Aquatic Animals (ORCA), a Peruvian marine animal conservation organization, attributed the mass deaths to the use of deep water sonar by ships in nearby waters. In June of 2008, four days after a Navy helicopter was using controversial sonar equipment during training exercises off the Cornish coast in Great Britain, 26 dolphins died in a mass stranding.

Two quick questions: If sonar beams can kill fully developed dolphins, what effect, then, do they have on the developing brains of in-utero embryos and fetuses? And why is this never discussed or debated or mentioned on TV broadcasts?

Getting back to those embryos and fetuses, Rodgers explains that an ultrasound used in fetal imaging emits short pulses of high-frequency sound waves that reflect off the tissues of the fetus, and the return echoes are converted into images. In addition to vibration, ultrasound waves can cause heating of the tissue and bone.”

When the transducer from the ultrasound is positioned over the part of the fetus the operator is trying to visualize,” she continues, “the fetus may be feeling vibrations, heat or both.”

Rodgers then cites a warning the Food and Drug Administration issued way back in 2004: “…even at low levels, [ultrasound] laboratory studies have shown it can have…”jarring vibrations” – one study compared the noise to a subway coming into a station – “and a rise in temperature.”

Imagine how these assaults affect the developing brain of a fetus!

Just as concerning, as far back 1982, the World Health Organization’s (WHO) study, “Effects of Ultrasound on Biological Systems,” concluded that “…neurological, behavioral, developmental, immunological, hematological changes and reduced fetal weight can result from exposure to ultrasound.” Two years later, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) reported that when birth defects occurred, the acoustic output [of sonograms] was usually high enough to cause considerable heat.

And yet, in 1993, the FDA approved an eight-fold increase in the potential acoustical output of ultrasound equipment! Ostensibly, this increase was done to enhance better visualization of the heart and small vessels during microsurgery. Clearly, the health and well-being of developing fetuses was not a consideration!

“Can the fact that this increase in potential thermal effects happened during the same period of time the incidence of autism increased nearly 60-fold be merely coincidental?” Rodgers asks.

Pregnant women are always warned to avoid steam rooms and saunas, based on studies published in numerous prestigious journals in which an irrefutable relationship between elevated maternal temperature and the development of brain defects in their infants has been established.

Again, Rodgers asks the question every woman must be asking herself after hearing of the disastrous results of the new CDC study:

“Using common sense, why would anyone think that intruding upon the continuous, seamless development of the fetus, which has for millions of years completed its work without assistance, be without consequences?”

KEEPING THE HEAT ON (so to speak)

In October of 2010, Ms. Rodgers participated in a forum sponsored by the Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In PDF format, she presented a lecture about autism and ultrasound entitled “The Elephant in the Room,” which included the following information:

  • A worldwide autism boom identified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) began with children born in 1988-1989.
  • Since the FDA approved an allowable eightfold increase in acoustic output in the early ’90s, only one prospective study has been undertaken. The study design did not expose fetuses to the first-trimester scans that are common today.
  • Ultrasound use and autism are more prevalent among higher socioeconomic groups.
  • Several studies have shown an increased prevalence of autism among better-educated, more affluent communities. Women in these communities undoubtedly have health insurance and other resources to allow access to good nutrition, prenatal vitamins, and excellent prenatal care, which, according to current practice, includes more ultrasound.

Autism surveys and studies have found the following groups of women are at higher risk of bearing children with autism:

  • Mothers who receive first-trimester care.
  • Mothers with higher educations.
  • Mothers with private health insurance.
  • Older mothers.

Rodgers concludes: Only increased exposure to prenatal ultrasound can explain all of the above.

Rodgers also elaborates on how things have changed since the FDA approved an eight-fold increase in the potential acoustical output of ultrasounds in 1993.

  • The number of ultrasound scans conducted during each pregnancy has increased, with women often receiving two or more scans even in low-risk situations.
  • The development of the vaginal probe, which positions the beam of sound much closer to the embryo or fetus, may put it at higher risk.
  • The use of Doppler ultrasound, which is used to study blood flow or to monitor the baby’s heartbeat, has increased. According to the 2006 Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, “routine Doppler ultrasound in pregnancy does not have health benefits for women or babies and may do some harm.”

Currently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are researching this issue in their Study to Explore Early Development (SEED).

There is a vast human tragedy – a true man-made disaster – taking place before our eyes.

For whatever reasons – follow the money? – the mountain of evidence that points to a causal relationship between prenatal ultrasound exams and an escalating pandemic of autism is being systematically ignored.

Could it have anything to do with the huge investments doctors and scientists have made in ultrasound technology, which, according to Jennifer Margulis, “adds more than $1 billion to the cost of caring for pregnant women in America each year”?

Could it have anything to do with the revenue now pouring like an avalanche into the coffers of diagnostic and treatment centers and classrooms?

Could it have anything to do with modern journalism’s almost complete abandonment of hard-nosed reporting and life-saving exposés?

As Caroline Rodgers said, there is an elephant in the room when it comes to the subject of autism ––and that elephant is the worldwide blitzkrieg of ultrasound exams on pregnant women, exams that have bombarded the babies they’re carrying with the brain-warping sound waves and heat that will continue to affect them every second of their autistic lives.

Chipping Away at Our Nation’s Foundation

The left seems to delight in chipping away at our nation’s Judeo-Christian foundation. A recent example occurred when President Biden’s appointee to head NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center was sworn into office.

The standard traditional practice is to swear in on the Holy Bible. But last week, Dr. Makenzie Lystrup chose instead to be sworn in on a book by the late Carl Sagan.

In a tweet of the ceremony, NASA Goddard quoted Sagan: “Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were, but without it we go nowhere.”

Sagan used to be an anti-creationist. But he died, and I believe he instantly became a creationist, since he was confronted by the Creator.

Sagan was a professor of astronomy at Cornell who celebrated the “Cosmos” but rejected its maker. In John 3:16, the famous Bible verse that declares that God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, the word for “world” in the Greek is cosmos.

Do oaths before God matter? In a highly secular age, does it surprise us that people who reject the Bible would reject taking an oath on the Bible and saying “So help me God,” referring to a Deity they claim not to believe in?

America’s founders said our rights come from the Creator. Remove belief in the Creator, and we ultimately remove the foundation of those rights. Thomas Jefferson asked, “Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God?”

But today’s secularists wield their chisels and hammers, busily chipping away at our nation’s spiritual foundation.

Judge Darrell White founded the group Retired Judges of America. He commented about this recent story of Lystrup and her oath: “If this new NASA director had been taking the ‘judicial oath’ (28 USC 458) instead, she might still have positioned her palm upon Sagan’s book, but her concluding sentence would have been ‘So help me God.’”

He added, “If you wonder how that can be in light of our Constitution’s Article VI declaring that ‘no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification for holding office or public trust under the United States,’ here’s the profound answer: America’s founding generation—those who fashioned both the Constitution as well as the Judiciary Act of 1789 mandating that oath conclusion (“So help me, God”) regarded the acknowledgment of God as America’s philosophy of government; not a ‘religious test.’”

Four times the Declaration of Independence mentions God. This is our nation’s founding document. It spells out why we exist as a nation.

When the founders declared in the First Amendment that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,” it is widely understood that they were rejecting the idea, at the federal level, of an established denomination.

At the time the founders adopted those words in 1791, many of the 13 states had statewide denominations “by law established.” This was the kind of establishment to be prohibited at the national level.

The last of these statewide, established churches to go was that of Massachusetts, in which the Congregationalist Church was “by law established” until 1833.

But the founders did not view the prohibition of an establishment of religion at the federal level as somehow prohibiting the acknowledgement of God, even in public settings.

Beginning with George Washington and continuing through Joe Biden, all of the presidents have been sworn in on the Holy Bible and have taken the oath, “So help me God.”

Why are oaths taken that way? Because they recognize that we are accountable to God who sees all and who will one day judge us all. In fact, one of the references to God in the Declaration is to call Him “the Supreme Judge of the world”—that is the cosmos.

One of the big breakdowns in our society today is the loss of belief in God who will hold us accountable. But the founders believed He will.

For example, founding father Noah Webster produced his first Dictionary in 1828, which contained many Bible verses to illustrate the meanings of words. He said one aspect of “Religion” includes “a belief in a state of rewards and punishment, and in man’s accountableness to God.”

This is why oaths have meaning. They recognize our accountability to the Almighty.

In his Farewell Address, George Washington said, “Let it simply be asked: Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths which are the instruments of investigation in courts of justice?” Take God out of oaths, and they have no real meaning.

In short, when we die, it is God who will hold us all to account, not Carl Sagan. Our tradition of oath-taking was predicated on belief in God.

WW III in America is a Global War

“I am worried about capitalism” — Bernard Marcus,  Co-founder of Home Depot

Yes, I am also worried about capitalism, because WWIII in America is part of a global WWIII. We are facing a very menacing time. I have started this discussion in my previous column—Russia: A Plot of the Century, April 10, 2023, in this e-magazine. Worry about capitalism began decades ago and after a year of Biden’s administration, I wrote a book: Socialist Revolution in America, XLIBRIS, 2021. Living half of my life in Soviet Russia, the policy of the Democrat Party, was very clear to me during the last decades. The Dems Party has been implementing Soviet Socialism in America.

Don’t be surprised that businesses are leaving blue States, they can’t survive there. They know the Dem policy and are leaving to the Republican States. The Democrat Party is in a real war against gas/oil, Biden’s team killed American independence. Open borders, high prices on gas/oil, and following inflation were endangering our economy and national security. Our enemies don’t fear and respect us. Biden’s weakness embolden them and upset our friends. Perhaps, Biden began a global crisis by his weakness and a war against energy—energy is a global commodity. Mandatory policy on EV is making us a totalitarian regime without a choice like Stalinist Soviet Socialism, which I called Soviet fascism.

Watch the global move of currency, leaving the Dollar in the direction of Chinese Yuan with the portrait of Mao Zedong. It was for a reason I have reminded you about Stalin and Mao–Friendship Forever by the old Soviet slogan of the 1950s. Seventy years have passed since. The globe has changed dramatically. Haven’t you noticed how many people in the top echelons of the governments are lying, deceiving, fabricating and defrauding? The level of morality and value system has drastically decreased? But the agenda of socialists/communists has not, their policy-proscription stayed the same and forcefully implemented across the world—war against capitalism. There are different methods, forms, and shapes of that war, we have been witnessing for seventy years.

We have been subjected to so many lies, deceptions, disinformation and fraud by agitators and provocateurs for years that most people are disoriented, demoralized, and puzzled. Who is doing that to us? The answer is America’s Socialist Party through its Socialist Charlatans. They are preaching hate to cover-up the crime they have committed for several decades. They are accusing Trump of all sorts of things to divert your attention from the crime they had committed. They have followed Stalin’s postulate: Never admit crime committed, instead accuse the adversary of that exact crime. The Democrat Party is not Truman’s Party any longer, it was transformed to Socialist Party by the KGB’s Mafia/Army—the Evil Doer.

The host of the Prime Time, Jesse Watters told us in his show April 14, 2023 about the KGB man, Yuri Bezmenov, and his interview in 1985. The KGB man had revealed four stages of subversive activities by the Soviet punitive agencies against America. You can find this interview on Google. I gave you the name of the man and his description of four stages over twenty years ago. But… you weren’t ready for the information and I have been describing it in detail since then, like Bezmenov suggested. All my writings were dedicated to show how the KGB’s Mafia/Army exercises a variety of methods, forms, shapes and tricks in subverting our government, courts, democratic institutions, and businesses, by ideological suppression and brainwashing Americans for seventy years, if not more.

My definition of WWIII gives you the tactics, methods, forms, and tricks of the 20th century war.

WWIII: Recruitment and Drugs, Infiltration and Assassinations. The arsenal of war has dramatically increased due to technological development in the 21st century. It intertwined with criminal activities in the 20th century and subversive actions have quadrupled. We have today Chinese secret police stations in New York City, like we had Russian spies and pro-Russian propaganda in the 20th century. Biden knows his role, he is laughing and dogging at the media and you, while Biden’s Green Energy Plans Pose National Security Risk and Destabilize America.

Let me give you some examples from history.

The Enemies Within

Every day you are watching Biden’s theatrical performances-propaganda. He is lying, deceiving and defrauding you, because he is not talking with you, but reading over a prompter the text written for him by his staff. You know my opinion about Biden’s staff—several KGB’s agents plus Obama’s holdovers. Using Biden’s diminished cognitive ability, they controlled and planned his presidency, practiced pandemic’s manipulations as a political power to create a typical Stalinist Falsehood in America. To divert your attention from them implementing Socialism, they threaten you with different variants of a Chinese virus. Dr. Fauci helps them. I don’t like Dr. Fauci’s friendly relationship with the General-Director of the W.H.O. Tedros Adhanom. In my view the latter is a KGB agent, a messenger and creator of Stalinist Falsehood in America for many years and Dr. Fauci has become a politician under his influence.

In the beginning of the 1970s, Soviet/Russian expansion in the equatorial Gulf of Aden started by initiating a civil war in Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, and Yemen to bring Socialism into those countries to secure the Russian oil trade to the world. It was a continuation of Stalin’s WWIII in Africa with the same formula and practice: Recruitment, Infiltration, Drugs, and Assassinations. It was the time when Dr. Tedros was recruited, and many other people from Somalia, Kenya, and Yemen have become KGB agents. Knowing the history of Soviet/Russian expansion and its modus operandi could open many dead cases, never resolved in America. I would advise the FBI to check the ‘Squad” and Rep. Omar’s Somali community. The Stalinist’s Now Run America, by Simona Pipko, January 1, 2022

I’d like to bring to your attention my definition of WWIII once again. In my writing, I dedicated a lot of time to show and describe the process of recruitment and infiltration by the Soviet/Russian Intel. Drugging America had been documented by me showing the Soviet Law of 1955. The policy of Assassinations I demonstrated by describing Stalinism. The Democrats misled and deceived Republican for decades and some Republicans are lost in the vices circle of “Disinformation.” Crime spike is not a coincidence it has a lot of components. But, actually it is a deliberate policy of the Democrats to weaken the economic and political system left to us by our Founding Fathers. Have you noticed that several tech executives have been assassinated lately? The Clinton presidency brought 80-90 killings. Learn about the KGB’s Mafia/Army and pay attention to human killings in the world: Stalinism is the enemy of Humanity!

Only now can I tell you the meaning of “Donbass Devushka,” “Donbass Girl.” Yes, Ukraine finds Chinese parts in Russian weapons, because we Americans are at WWIII. If you know Russia and its Intel, you understand why we are dealing with ‘‘Donbass Girl.” Donbass is the line of the Eastern front. But even more important is that Donbass is a huge area of coal mines, a source of energy. China needs this Coal and Russia provides China with Coal, excavated from Donbass. Perhaps, China pays back with weaponry. The FBI was supposed to know that, but…they didn’t. As I have already reported, we are living in the country at war without the FBI, CIA, and DOJ for the last two years.

Even more, we had the dysfunctional FBI and CIA for the last thirty years, since the Manchurian President Clinton administration. Vladimir Putin and his KGB’s Mafia/Army had free hands all thirty years: neither the FBI, nor CIA have knowledge of Russia, its Intel and Security Apparatus. It is the ignorance of Mr. Wray that prevents us from learning the origins of the Pandemic. Besides, I suspect both agencies are infiltrated by the Russian Intel. Plenty of bad things have happened to our country because of that. A lot of people had been treated unfairly. Read my books/columns or the interview with Yuri Bezmenov in 1985 to grasp the damages and harm the Democrat Party has done to the American Constitutional Republic and people of America…

You saw that war on Monday April 17, 2023 on House Republican Investigation of the Dem Progressive policy. You saw Law and Disorder, an ideological suppression and brainwashing Americans by the Dems to save their skin. They were fighting for concentration and centralization of power and wealth in the hands of one party. They want to build Socialist America with a one-party system, like Stalinist Soviet Socialism, which I called Soviet fascism, and they are devoted to the task for years. Look at D.A. Alvin Bragg, he reduced to misdemeanors 52% of felonies, pouring thousands of criminals to the streets of New York. By letting criminals run free Bragg committees’ crime against public safety, helping our enemies to destroy New York City.

Do you remember how AG Eric Holder, Democrat, authorized a sell of arms to the drug cartels in Mexico? “During the Fast and Furious investigation, nearly 2,000 firearms were illegally purchased for $1.5 million, according to a DOJ inspector General report. Hundreds of guns were later recovered in the United States and Mexico.” Maybe the Democrat Eric Holder wanted to deal with the Russian drugs cartels, then in 2011? Because there are no Mexican Cartels, those were Russian drug cartels in Mexico. The FBI and CIA still don’t know, there are no Mexican Cartels, those are the Russian Cartels established by Stalin in 1950-1960. Reading my columns you will learn a story about children taken by Stalin after Spanish Civil War.

Human Trafficking

The term Human Trafficking is an ancient term, but it is very well familiar to Russian people. We’ve heard that the KGB was selling blond girls from Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Bulgaria to the Muslim countries under the Warsaw Pact in Eastern Europe in the 1950s. It was an official, but secret policy of the Soviet/Russian government: they always exploited sex in politics. Seventy years later it was brought by the same Russians to Mexico. The irony of the time is putting together Stalin’s policy of creating Russian Cartels in Mexico and the birth of the policy Human Trafficking in the place. Those are facts, not only my opinion. And… There is another irony of time: what Stalin did with the Spanish Children, Biden is doing with the children of the globe, following the policy of Stalinist Soviet Socialism. Yesterday, TX PD rescued 7 minors from sex Cartel trafficking. Knowledge of Russia and its Intel is imperative to expose the enemy of Humanity. Think, who are the LGBT individuals and their role in our society???

I don’t trust the Biden government and the recent massive Pentagon High Classified Docs leak is very suspicious to me: Russia likes to fish in murky waters. The expert said: Russia has benefited from the leaks, Ukraine has been losing from leaks. If you want to know Biden’s game in Ukraine, spreading fear, read two of my columns on February 28, and April 4, 2022. As I have repeated many times, I don’t trust Biden’s staff under Susan Rice, which is managing his presidency. Biden’s team gives Vladimir Putin the opportunity to mock America before the world with stupid and absurd actions he fostered—a typical behavior of the KGB. I don’t trust anyone on Biden’s staff, suspecting connection with the Putin KGB’s Mafia/Army. I am not alone. Please, read what Miranda Devine posted:

My fellow Americans!

As you now know, seventy years ago China was Russia’s province with no military, today Chana is challenging the entire framework of U.S. Tavian relationship. You also know that Russia is a terrorist, totalitarian State, joined by China—they have a common ideological umbilical cord. You see now who we are fighting against up at WWIII, learn what side the Democrats are and their real face… Learn the role of the KGB’s Mafia/Army in the global WWIII…

Educating yourselves you will save America!

What Is Fractional Reserve Banking and Is It Good or Bad?

After the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), I received several questions related to the collapse. One by Dr. Michael Overfield caught my eye. He says:

“The question I have is about fractional reserve banking. This is more in the news following the failure of the Silicon Valley Bank. [Some] feel we should outlaw fractional reserve banking. This policy would assure that our banks would have our funds secure whenever any of the depositors want them. But the depositors would have to pay a fee, or negative interest rate to get this service. Additionally funds would not be available for loans for business, homes, education and other needs. I have not seen the issue of fractional reserve banking addressed in the FEE newsletter which I read daily. Thank you in advance for your consideration.”

Before I highlight what I think about fractional reserve banking (FRB) we should spend some time dissecting what it is.

Ever wondered what happens to your money when it gets deposited at the bank? Or maybe you’ve just always assumed that the bank keeps it all on hand?

Think again. When you go to the bank and put your money in, economists call this money bank deposits. Today in the United States, banks do not typically keep 100% of deposits on hand. Instead, when you deposit your money, some of it is kept in the bank, but the bank lends the rest out to borrowers looking for funds.

Economists call this system fractional reserve banking because only a fraction of total deposits are kept in the bank’s reserves. This is in contrast to full reserve banking, in which 100 percent of deposits are kept in the bank’s reserves.

To give an example of fractional reserve banking, imagine I deposit $100 in FEEBank. FEEBank can decide they want to keep 20% of my money on hand ($20) and lend out 80% ($80) for a year to earn 5% interest from a borrower.

At the end of the year when the loan expires, FEEBank earns $4 from the loan they gave and pays me 1% interest ($1) for my money.

This is a win-win-win. I earn money while my money is idle. The bank earns money on the loan. The borrower is able to borrow money at an acceptable rate.

Despite the upsides, you may have noticed a potential issue with the above example. Let’s scale the bank up a bit to see this issue manifest in a more realistic example.

Imagine FRB on a larger scale. Ten people put in $100 each for a total of $1,000 in FEEBank’s reserves. If the bank wants to keep 20% in reserves, they keep $200 on hand, and they can lend out $800.

Now imagine one customer goes in and wants to take their $100 out. FEEBank has lent out $800 of the $1000 and they have $200 on hand. They give the first customer $100 of the $200 and are left with $100.

But now say a second customer comes in and wants their $100 back too. You probably see where this is going. If the second customer withdraws all funds, the bank is left with $0 on hand.

If any other depositors come in and ask for money, the bank is in trouble. FEEBank has no way of giving depositors the money they request! They can’t simply call back the $800 loan. If this happens, FEEBank goes under. In our modern economy, regulators would come and take over bank operations and FEEBank owners would lose their investments (unless they get bailed out or can borrow the money).

So FEEBank has a decision to make when engaging in FRB. The larger the percent of deposits kept on hand, the smaller the chance that depositors will clean them out. On the other hand, having a larger percentage of deposits means banks can’t make as much money from lending.

Customers experience a trade off too. Banks are able to hold money and offer the customers interest because the bank lends out their deposits. So customers are more at risk when their banks lend out their funds, but they receive a better return.

So, given the risk to customers, should FRB be prohibited? I don’t think so. But I also think that’s the wrong question.

The bank hypothetically not being able to pay back depositors is no big issue. A lot of our financial system is built on risk. When you loan money, you may not get your money back. When you loan money through an intermediary (like a bank), it’s possible they don’t get paid back. And, so long as customers are made aware of the risk that FRBs may run out of money, I don’t see any problem with letting customers take that risk.

If we think people should be able to turn their money into poker chips at casinos, I think it’d be odd to say they shouldn’t be able to turn it into fractional bank deposits.

But, as I said, I think this is at least partly the wrong question. I do think FRBs would exist in a modern competitive system, but I can’t be sure because our banking system is not competitive.

Government facilitated deposit insurance, depositor bailouts, ballooning regulatory codes, and bailouts for banks deemed “too big to fail” make it difficult to know what the banking system would look like in the modern US absent the visible hand of government.

All of this ignores the even bigger government intervention in the world of finance—a monopoly on the production of currency. Economist Lawrence White has written extensively on both the theory and history of banking in a world with competing monies.

In a freer system, I think it would likely be easier to find banks who keep all money on hand and charge a yearly fee, similar to what Dr. Overfield mentions in his question above.

Similarly, economist Robert Murphy has proposed a full reserve system which doesn’t require yearly fees and allows for lending by having depositors agree to lock in their funds for a specific amount of time which matches with the loan maturity.

Of course, this system still runs the risk of companies not being able to pay back their loans therefore making banks unable to pay back depositors. But it is, at least, an alternative option to the somewhat bland world of banking choices available today.

In summary, I don’t find FRB to be illegitimate, ethically or economically. Businesses constantly manage and weigh risks every day that, under certain circumstances, could blow up in the faces of owners or customers.

So long as customers are not defrauded by promises of it being completely risk free, my assumption is some successful entrepreneur will be able to effectively manage the risk of fractional reserves to provide depositors with a relatively high return.

But I am bothered by how standardized the banking industry is today and how few options there are for customers. It seems unlikely to me that in a world free of layers of subsidization, regulation, and monetary monopoly that our banking system would look like it does today.

DeSantis Admin Approves Rule Curbing Lessons On Gender Identity, Sexual Orientation For All K-12 Students

The Florida Department of Education (DOE) approved a proposal on Wednesday to extend the state’s Parental Rights in Education law, which prohibits certain lessons on gender identity and sexual orientation, to cover grades 4-12.

In March, the Florida DOE proposed a rule that would build upon the state’s Parental Rights in Education law, which prohibited instruction on gender identity and sexual orientation through the third grade and was dubbed “Don’t Say Gay” by critics, extending it through all grades. The approved rule does not need legislative approval and goes into effect in 34 days.

“For grades 4 through 12, instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity is prohibited unless such instruction is either expressly required by state academic standards … or is part of a reproductive health course or health lesson for which a student’s parent has the option to have his or her student not attend,” the rule stated.

If teachers are found in violation of the rule, they could have their certification suspended or revoked. The state Legislature is also considering two bills which would expand the Parental Rights in Education law through eighth grade.

Following the Florida DOE’s proposal in March, the White House denounced the rule saying it hurts not just the LGBTQ community, but all students and faculty.

“It’s wrong. It’s completely, utterly wrong and we’ve been very crystal clear about that, when it comes to the Don’t Say Gay bill and other actions that this governor has taken in the state of Florida,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a press briefing. “But make no mistake, this is part of a disturbing and dangerous trend that we’re seeing across the country of legislations that are anti-LGBTQI+, anti-trans and anti-the community in a way that we have not seen in some time. And it’s not just the LGBTQI+ community, we’re talking about students, we’re talking about educators, we’re talking about just individuals.”

States across the country are following Florida’s lead and seeking to implement legislation that would prohibit age-inappropriate lessons on gender identity and sexual orientation in the classroom; in North Carolina, the Legislature is considering the Parents’ Bill of Rights which would bar lessons on sexual orientation and gender identity from K-4 classrooms. The Iowa Legislature is considering a bill that would prohibit teachers from giving lessons “relating to gender identity” for students in kindergarten through eighth grade in public and charter school classrooms.

“We believe that the focus in education should always be teaching the basics of math, science, history, etc. in the classroom, especially when it comes to issues such as sexual orientation and gender identity,” Ryan Kennedy, a member of Florida Citizens’ Alliance, a nonprofit focused on improving K-12 education, said at the Wednesday board meeting.

Sen. Rick Scott Grills Mayorkas On All The Times The Biden Admin Spread ‘Disinformation’

Republican Florida Sen. Rick Scott held Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ feet to the fire about “disinformation” spread by President Joe Biden’s administration during a Tuesday Senate hearing.

Scott paired his questioning of Mayorkas with a large poster board that listed several topics he alleges the Biden administration has lied about including border security, Hunter Biden’s laptop, the withdrawal from Afghanistan and the Chinese spy balloon that traversed across the country in February, according to video from the hearing.

“There’s a whole bunch of people in the Biden administration who put out false narratives. They’ve said the border’s secure, they’ve said Hunter Biden’s laptop is not real. They’ve said the Afghanistan withdrawal was successful. They’ve said the Chinese spy balloon over the United States is not a threat,” Scott listed. “All that, as we all have found out, is untrue. Now we’ve learned from the Twitter Files is that government is working with and funds NGOs to censor millions of Americans via Big Tech in direct violation of our First Amendment rights.”

Scott also pressed Mayorkas about the DHS’ involvement with digital censorship, pointing several times to the Twitter Files saga that revealed how the U.S. government worked with social media companies to censor and monitor accounts

Mayorkas pushed back that the DHS does not “censor speech” and that he wanted “to nip that misimpression in the bud,” according to the video.

“We don’t do that and, I should say, that the personnel of the Department of Homeland Security … not only have unflinching dedication to missions, but also have unflinching dedication to the law that they enforce,” he said.

“Let’s just go to the facts,” Scott said. “The Biden administration has said all those things, and now Elon Musk has been clear that the Biden administration has had access to private messages … Twitter messages.”

Scott then grilled Mayorkas about whether or not he believed the Biden administration’s claims about the several national security examples, according to the video. Mayorkas did not immediately answer the question, but denied that DHS has access to monitor private Twitter messages unless it is vital to a criminal investigation.

“I can assure you that it is not our job, nor do we do it, to censor speech. What we do is we assess the threat landscape that this country confronts so that we can secure the homeland and protect the American people,” he said. “That’s what we do, and our Office of Intelligence and Analysis has a responsibility which it fulfills to understand that threat landscape, to understand what the threats are that we face.”

Mayorkas “would be concerned” with DHS employees reading private Twitter messages outside of a criminal investigation, he told Scott while clarifying that his opinion “is not informed by the law.” Any employee who violates the law is held accountable and “do not represent the workforce of the Department of Homeland Security,” he said.

Tuesday’s hearing was held by the Committee on Homeland Security & National Affairs about the DHS’ Fiscal Year 2024 budget, according to the committee website.

China’s Massive ‘Terracotta Army’ Invasion of the U.S.A.

Why is China secretly sending a modern-day “Terracotta Army” across America’s Southern Border?

As many as 400,000 male military-aged Chinese nationals have illegally entered the U.S. since President Biden took office.

Why are they here?

Where do their loyalties lie?

Why is President Biden Ignoring the Chinese Invasion at our Southern Border?

As many as 400,000 male military-aged Chinese nationals have illegally entered the US since President Biden took office. Why are they here? Where do their loyalties lie?

While the Biden administration is fixated on its proxy war in Ukraine, emptying both our ammunition stockpiles and our strategic petroleum reserve, China is quietly sending thousands of military-age males across our southern border. Just as the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, built his secret terracotta army to accompany him in the afterlife President Xi is building a secret modern-day terracotta army right here in our backyard. The question our policymakers should be asking is WHY?

It is virtually impossible for Chinese nationals to leave China without permission much less buy an airline ticket to Ecuador and pay the $10,000-$30,000 cartels charge to cross the border. To purchase an airline ticket to Ecuador Chinese nationals must have a passport and an exit visa. Fewer than 10% of Chinese nationals have a passport and it is practically impossible to get an exit visa without an act of God. Somehow thousands of military-age men from China are booking tickets to Ecuador with nothing more than a backpack and a passport. Once they reach Ecuador they are met by CCP-backed NGOs who arrange their travel to the US border. Given these facts, it is almost certain that China’s Ministry of State Security is organizing and funding the invasion. U.S. Customs and Border Protection estimate that for every four illegal migrants they apprehend as many as six make it across the border unmolested. 2  In fact, it is common practice for cartels to notify CBP where they are dropping illegal migrants off so they’ll know where the CBP won’t be active. The cartels are then free to move their most valuable cargo—Chinese nationals and fentanyl safely across the border. 3  It is estimated that fewer than 1 in 10 Chinese nationals crossing the border are apprehended. That means with as many as 90 Chinese nationals caught per day as many as 900 are making it into the US. 4  Unfortunately, the 90 that are caught are promptly released as they claim they are pro-democracy activists who would be killed if they returned to China. According to the CBP, there could be as many as 400,000 military-age men from China here in America with more arriving each day. 5 Once these Chinese nationals are in the US they are monitored and supervised by a network of Chinese aid organizations. Six years ago China’s Communist Party began a concerted program to fill both domestic and international NGOs with loyal party members in an effort to spread its influence and control. 6  Additionally, China has opened more than 100 police stations in countries around the world including the US. 7 In the US they’re typically called ‘aid stations’ and provide a connection between the hundreds of thousands of illegal Chinese nationals and the Communist Party—kidnapping and returning those that turn their back on the party. 8 The situation at our southern border is a humanitarian and economic crisis of epic proportions—but it is ALSO a huge security risk. The 400,000 military-aged males who have already arrived are just the tip of the iceberg as China has 34 million more men than women—men who desperately want a better life in America. But where are their true loyalties? What would happen if China decided to invade Taiwan? Could the 400,000 Chinese nationals living outside of the law here in the United States be activated? What are they capable of accomplishing? We’ve seen how easy it is to sabotage our power grids, water supply, and even railroads. 9  It is past time to secure our border and determine what risk the massive modern-day terracotta army Xi has built here in America poses to our national security.

Chinese suppliers, with unofficial approval from the Ministry of State Security, send various fentanyl precursors (ANPP and NPP) and synthetic opioids (U-47700) via cargo ships to Ecuador where the cartels process the precursors into saleable drugs bound for the US. 1  The cartels then charge as much as $30,000 to smuggle a single Chinese national along with fentanyl and/or fentanyl precursors through Columbia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico. U.S. Customs and Border Protection estimate that for every four illegal migrants they apprehend as many as six make it across the border unmolested. 2  In fact, it is common practice for cartels to notify CBP where they are dropping illegal migrants off so they’ll know where the CBP won’t be active. Now it is firmly ensconced among the climate change cult that eating meat is killing the planet and you must ‘eat ze bugs’, the same people have a new target, rice.

VIDEO: Rice is to blame for around 10 percent of global emissions of methane, a gas that over two decades, traps about 80 times as much heat as carbon dioxide. Scientists say that if the world wants to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, rice cannot be ignored.

— AFP News Agency (@AFP) April 16, 2023

“Rice cannot be ignored.”

The Food and Agriculture Organization notes that “Rice is one of the most important staple foods in the world. Over 50 percent of the world population depends on rice for about 80 percent of its food requirements. About 95 percent of the global output of rice is produced and consumed in developing countries.”

What is this really about?

Biden Crime Family Investigation Expands To ‘Six Additional’ Biden Family Members

Newly accessed financial records show “the Biden family enterprise is centered on Joe Biden’s political career and connections, and it has generated an exorbitant amount of money for the Biden family”. Six more family members named. James Comer says new financial records have revealed six new Biden family members are involved in suspicious foreign transactions believed to be a direct result of influence peddling, bringing the total to nine family members.

A Democrat-led Oversight would have them all in handcuffs by now.

Hallie Biden and James Biden have already been named.

Possible six additional members of Joe Biden’s family:

  1. Sara Biden (James)
  2. Jill Biden
  3. Frank Biden
  4. Valerie Biden Owens
  5. Kathleen Buhle (Biden)
  6. Ashley Biden
  7. Naomi Biden
  8. Finnegan Biden
  9. Maisy Biden
  10. Robert Hunter Biden II

House Republicans Expand Biden Family Investigation To ‘Six Additional’ Kin

By: Tristan Justice, The Federalist, April 18, 2023

House Republicans are expanding their investigation of the Biden family to include “six additional members” who “may have benefitted” from potentially criminal business enterprises.

On Monday, House Oversight Chairman James Comer of Kentucky revealed the committee is now probing nine individuals linked to the family’s influence-peddling operations after a review of “thousands” of documents at the Treasury Department.

“Thousands of pages of financial records related to the Biden family, their companies, and associates’ business schemes were made available to members of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, which confirm the importance of this investigation,” Comer said in a press release. “The Biden family enterprise is centered on Joe Biden’s political career and connections, and it has generated an exorbitant amount of money for the Biden family.”

The House Oversight Committee was granted access to the department’s suspicious activity reports related to the Biden family last month after the administration stonewalled requests for congressional review of the presidential family’s business ventures.

“According to bank documents we’ve already obtained, we know one company owned by a Biden associate received a $3 million dollar wire from a Chinese energy company two months after Joe Biden left the vice presidency,” Comer said in March.

Lawmakers’ review of the records, Comer said, has given committee members new leads to investigate the extent of the family’s undercover business enterprises.

“The Oversight Committee will continue to pursue additional bank records to follow the Bidens’ tangled web of financial transactions to determine if the Biden family has been targeted by foreign actors and if there is a national security threat,” Comer said. “We will soon provide the public with more information about what we’ve uncovered to date.”

The House Oversight chairman did not reveal the names of the six additional individuals now under congressional scrutiny. The House probe has publicly centered on President Joe Biden, his son Hunter, and the president’s brother, James. Lawmakers also requested documents from longtime Biden family business partner Eric Schwerin in February.

Federal investigators at the Department of Justice have been probing Hunter Biden’s tax affairs since 2018. Prosecutors opened the case based on suspicious activity reports the Department of the Treasury flagged regarding the family’s business dealings in “China and other foreign nations.”

Insiders at the DOJ complained to The Federalist that the Delaware U.S. attorney’s office lacks the proper resources to conduct a comprehensive investigation that a special counsel’s office could offer. Senate Republicans demanded in September that the investigation of the Biden family under the Biden administration be moved to a special counsel.

NEW YORK CITY: Pro-Jihad Rallygoers Chant for the Total Destruction of Israel [Video]

This would result in a new genocide of Jews. Leftists, heedless of that fact or indifferent to it, happily join in the chant.

Speakers At ‘Hands Off Al-Aqsa’ Rally In NYC Praise Palestinian Terrorists, Chant: From The River To The Sea, Palestine Will Be Free!

MEMRI, April 8, 2023:

On April 8, 2023, a rally titled “Hands Off Al-Aqsa” was held by several pro-Palestinian organizations in New York City. At the rally, footage of which was posted to the Christopher Leon Johnson YouTube channel on April 8, 2023, speakers praised the Palestinian “resistance” and its “martyrs.”

American-Palestinian activist Sireen Sawalha, the sister of Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist Iyad Sawalha, praised her brother, saying he had been a “hero” and a “freedom-fighter”. Iyad Sawalha, killed by Israeli security forces in 2002, had been responsible for the deaths of dozens of Israelis in several terrorist attacks, including two bus bombings. Sireen Sawalha led the crowd in the chant: “With our spirit and our blood, we will redeem you, oh Palestine!”

An American activist named “Ruqayya” from Al-Awda NY praised “martyrs” and “heroes” Bassel al-Araj (killed in gunfight with Israeli forces in 2017), Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi (killed by Israeli forces in August 2022), and Iyad Sawalha. She said: “We will continue to applaud the bravery and the resilience of the resistance and freedom fighters.” She added that there will never be peace until the Palestinian people have the right to “return to their homes and lands […] in every corner of the land of Palestine from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea.” An activist named “Nay” from the Palestinian Youth Movement said: “We proudly uplift our people’s resistance and commend their steadfastness […] until every inch of the colonized land is liberated.”

The rally was endorsed by several organizations, including NY4Palestine, Palestinian American CC, Within Our Lifetime, Samidoun, CAIR NY, CAIR NJ, ICNA CSJ, Jewish Voices for Peace NYC, Jews for Palestine Right of Return, MAS NY, NNJ DSA BDS & Palestine Sol. WG, and United American Indians of New England.

Sireen Sawalha: “I want you to know Iyad Sawalha from Jenin, this was my brother.

“I want to condemn the media when they say he was a terrorist – he was a freedom fighter.

“He was a hero, he lived all his life to see his country free. So, free, free Palestine!”

Crowd: “Free, free Palestine!”

Sireen Sawalha: “With our souls and our blood, we will redeem you, oh Palestine!”

Crowd: “With our souls and our blood, we will redeem you, oh Palestine!”

Ruqayya: “It is the Palestinian vanguard, which are our freedom fighters and political prisoners, who are the future of a liberated Palestine. This also [includes] our martyrs, who are honored every day. We remember our heroes, Bassel Al-Araj, Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi, also Sireen’s brother Iyad, and countless others, for their bravery, resistance, and resilience.

“We will continue to applaud their bravery and the resilience of our resistance and freedom fighters who are on the frontlines, facing the brutal violence committed by the paramilitary colonial forces. While they are resisting in Palestine, we must resist and do our part here.

“There will never be peace in the region until that injustice is ended, until the Palestinian people have the right to return to their homes and lands and live safe in freedom in every corner of the land of Palestine from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea!”

Nay: “How much violence are Palestinians expected to endure before their right to resist is acknowledged? Their right to resist – again – by any means necessary. Why are Palestinians expected to take their oppression in silence, and why do some people only speak of Palestinians’ oppression, but denounce or stay silent when it comes to their resistance? We are witnessing a shift in the regional orientation to Palestinian resistance. The legacy of the May 2021 uprising has shifted the equation from one isolated Palestinian faction versus the Zionist forces, to multiple unified fronts confronting a broken and internally fragmented entity. Once again, we cannot shout: ‘Free Palestine,’ and then fall silent when it comes to uplifting resistance and acts of decolonization. We proudly uplift our people’s resistance and commend their steadfastness in the face of colonial aggression, until every inch of colonized land is liberated. From the water [of the Jordan River] to the water [of the Mediterranean Sea] Palestine is Arab!”

Crowd: “Palestine is Arab!”

Dog Meat, Human Meat, and Other Wonders of Socialist Cuban Hunger

I can imagine the face of the person who discovered that bag full of dog heads in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. Around those days in 2012, the tumultuous popular festivities of Humoranga had ended, and the local palate still remembered the fabulous skewers that, mysteriously, were being sold at pocket prices in the always hungry Cuban scene.

I can imagine people hearing about the sack. Tying up loose ends can be nauseating.

The possible sale of dog meat keeps reminding me of Donald Trump, who pointed out that people stand up for freedom because they want to walk their dog and not eat it. Sure, maybe not your dog, but the neighborhood dog, who passes a stone’s throw away and doesn’t wear a collar or answer to any name. People are hungry.

That is why a well-known Cuban writer told me that before going cat-hunting in his college years, he would swish some rum, as if to dilute his consciousness. Yes, in Cuba people have also eaten cats. The demand for this and any meat had a peak in the 1990s, the hardest crisis on the island, when this writer was studying to become an engineer, and the nights of hunger did not allow him to sleep.

In that fateful decade, rabbit meat buyers asked for the animal with its head, to make sure they weren’t selling cats. From that period comes an extensive survival recipe. From pizzas with condoms instead of cheese, to steaks with grapefruit peel and mop bedspreads.

Socialism has failed so much and in so many ways that, as Thomas Sowell said, only an intellectual would be unable to see it. In 2007, experts from the University of Loyola and the Cuban university in Cienfuegos studied the impacts of the so-called Special Period and concluded that it had done good for the health of Cubans. Yes, as it reads.

Due to the lack of food and fuel, which forced thousands of Cubans to pedal bicycles to get around, obesity decreased. And, as a consequence, the number of deaths were attributed to diabetes, coronary diseases, and cardiac arrests. At the same time, the famine minimized the amount of calories in the diet. Wow, after zombifying millions of souls, you have Big Brother to thank.

The experts can be, it is known, new tyrants of the postmodern state, and with Cuba, they have tried to rewrite its history to accommodate their delusions. The academics behind the study conveniently ignored the rise in diseases such as polyneuritis or depression during the 1990s.

What would they say about an act of cannibalism if it occurs in socialist Cuba? Would they change the moral compass to justify it? At the end of 2022, it emerged that a hospital employee “was extracting organs and body fat from the deceased to crush them and sell them as mincemeat.” The rumor spread on social networks, and through an official statement the Provincial Health Directorate of Santiago de Cuba confirmed it: the National Revolutionary Police was investigating a possible case of organ trafficking from deceased persons at the Ambrosio Grillo Portuondo Clinical Surgical Hospital.

“Certainly, there are two workers from the reference hospital who work as eviscerators and occupational therapy, arrested on December 9, 2022 for an alleged criminal act, having seized two hearts of possible human origin,” explained the state center. Will revolutionary progress lead to cannibalism?

The United States is one of the main importers of food to the island. In 2021, Castroism disbursed more than $124 million in frozen chicken quarters, a substantial increase compared to 2020, when it paid just over $67 million for the same product.

Yes, imperialism wants the hardened people to die of hunger, the people that (the regime believes) turns on the gossip in the blackout, thinking that at least the right wing does not rule in Cuba, the island that before 1959 produced meat and exported flowers south of the United States. Yes. When the system changes, how things change.

The revolutionaries of 1959 repeated that changes were good, that change was equal to progress, that they could only advance even as nobody knew for sure where it was going. But, as we have seen, progressivism does not mean progress. Having your feet on the ground, a minute, is enough to know.

Luis O. lives in Camaguey, inherited a shotgun, and after a cumbersome process he obtained a license to hunt. It is 2023, but Luis goes out to kill ducks, quails, and whatever he finds in front of the canyon to feed his brother, his mother, his wife, and their two children, as if the city of Camaguey was still Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe. While socialism imposes stores in capitalist currency (euro, dollar, everything) on an impoverished population, the people of Camaguey saw the stores in Cuban pesos dry up. Without food, Luis went back in time. He shares that his days are filled with the need to go into the bush and hunt.

The Cuban State cries about the embargo and paints it as a “blockade,” but the only blockade that exists is that of the State against the citizen, and it is the one that takes its toll, leaving land without crops and stomachs without food. The bureaucrats at the Palace of the Revolution kick their feet because Washington does not give credit to a country that does not pay, and because U.S. politicians consider it immoral to trade freely with a regime that prohibits free trade among its inhabitants.

As in India, for more than 40 years cows were “sacred” in Cuba. In one way by faith, in another by the hand of the god-State. It was only until 2021 that the sale of beef was authorized on the island, and its production and sale by private parties was decriminalized.

Since 1979, no producer could sell this meat, and buyers were punished with up to a year in jail for buying it. At the time of its decriminalization, the pound was paid in the informal market for up to $12. Castroism announced that it would pay the peasant for two kilos of meat. Magnanimous.

Faithful to the disconnection with natural laws, Cuban statism projected in 2021 the allocation of an additional 3,461 million pesos to the annual budget, “in order to stimulate agricultural production.” But the investment was nothing. The same voluntarism that “removed” money from the coffers, generated one of the highest inflation rates on the planet that year and its consequent devaluation of the peso.

He believed that subsidizing with “soft loans” electricity, water, fumigation, and feed costs for pig farming, he would magically compensate for the lack of economic freedom of 63 years.

In 1979, the first revolutionary Penal Code criminalized the slaughter of cattle. But the hunger was so great that, far from stopping, in 1987 the sacrifice of horses had to be made illegal in the letter. In 1999, the severity of sentences for slaughtering cattle increased. Whoever sold or transported that meat would receive up to eight years in prison. But there is no decree that stops hunger. Just freedom and work.

Before 1959, Cuba was an important regional cattle producer. In the first years, Castroism attributed its incipient reduction to sabotage by its internal opponents. However, once thousands of them were shot, and hundreds of thousands more thrown into jail or exile, the phenomenon did not reverse.

Today, the socialist paradise imports 80% of the food it consumes and dedicates annually, with frequent restrictions due to lack of liquidity and non-payment, about $2 billion to these imports.

On the other hand, hunger is an effective control mechanism. It prevents thinking beyond the day to day, to satisfy the urgent need that literally climbs the individual on the tightrope of life or death. At the same time, a desperate society can become a tsunami of violence. Castroism has played the drip strategy for decades: miserable portions through the ration card, enough to cover the cupboard for a few days, occupying your mind by “inventing” most of the month, but in a model that keeps expectant the body until the next sale of products.

So much has been “invented” in Cuba that in 2012, due to a national lack of oil, oil from crematoriums circulated on the Havana black market… for cooking food.

As the presenter, Juan explained at that time, with each cremation, about 20 liters of burning oil are used for the treatment of smoke gases. From a warehouse of the Guanabacoa incinerator, on the outskirts of the capital, the liquid came out of yore.

There was a scandal, in the proportions that the story warranted, and apparently, they cut the network. But what the revolutionaries have not cut is the shortage of oil, which appears from time to time on the island of “there is no.”

A painter friend who came to the United States in the late 1960s experienced a panic attack in Los Angeles. She entered a small grocery store and had to be taken out unconscious. From the empty shelf, the desperation for what to eat tomorrow, and the long lines, to endless shelves, full to the brim and with so many brands and prices to choose from.

My wife and I arrived in Miami already knowing other countries, on both sides of the Atlantic. The impact of overflowing shops was not as much as for compatriots who arrive from nothing every day to a nation of abundance. Even so, when I enter the cheap Dollar Tree or Walmart, the first thing I think about is my friends and their children, my mother, the ministries of my church, which help the elderly and abandoned children, the homeless. It sure happens to others.

One imagines filling suitcases, yes. That lucky patch. But I also think about how much free enterprise could bring to Cuba. Employment, food, and medicines. The more the free market is respected, the closer the paradigm of land flowing with milk and honey is.

For me, a clear mark of abundance in the United States manifested itself on Halloween. For that day, costumes and decorations are prepared for weeks. Candy sales skyrocket. On the night itself, I saw neighborhoods fill up with boys and families where no soul walks at any other time of the year. “Trick or treat!” they shouted before extending their hands.

The next day, on the pavement, the sidewalks, the gardens of the entire neighborhood, there were hundreds of candies, chocolates, and little toys. All sealed, slipped carelessly from baskets and baskets, forgotten because there are more and tomorrow there will be again, because buying a cookie for your son doesn’t cost ten hours in line and a shoving fight.

Children in Cuba, for example, skin pelicans to sell their little meat for 70 Cuban pesos (less than a dollar) each. The story does not take place at the beginning of the Revolution or in the 1990s, but in 2022, in the coastal town of Caibarién. Through dirt streets one of them pedals with a bucket full of pelicans without feathers or skin. Potential buyers appear from the rickety houses.

Meanwhile, the children who “fish” for pelicans kill their hunger by boiling the corpses of the birds with brown sugar and guava leaves. “You throw out the water three times,” they detailed to the reporter, “and that way they don’t taste so bad.”

Gaines Goes Toe-to-Toe with Dems on Biden’s Push to Erase Girls

“Why is it always women fighting against sex-based protections?” Riley Gaines wondered. “That will forever be beyond me.” The former All-American swimmer could only shake her head at the latest attack on girls’ sports by Congresswoman Katie Hobbs (D-Calif.), the latest high-profile Democrat to throw her sex overboard in the raging battle for transgenderism.

“It’s an extraordinary state of affairs,” “Fox Nation” host Piers Morgan said afterward, “when two middle-aged men, me and Bill Maher, were standing up vociferously for women’s rights to fairness and equality, and a congresswoman who wants to be a senator was incapable of doing that. And that, to me, exposed the fragility at the heart of this woke position on this whole transgender debate.”

Hobbs was a guest on “Real Time with Bill Maher,” when the conversation turned to Gaines’s push to save girls’ sports. The California Democrat announced that she disagreed with the former University of Kentucky athlete “strongly.” When Morgan pressed her about what Gaines had done or said that she disapproved of, Hobbs claimed Riley was “using things to kind of get likes and get clicks.” “That’s not what she’s doing,” Morgan fired back. “It’s not?” Hobbs asked incredulously.

The Brit insisted, “All I’ve seen her do is stand up for women’s rights to fairness and equality. She competed against [biological male] Lia Thomas, and it was obviously unfair.” Then “our sporting bodies should be dealing with it,” Hobbs argued, before claiming she respects Riley’s “free speech.”

Later, Morgan seemed appalled by the whole exchange, arguing on his home network, “It’s time that female politicians, in particular in America, Democrat politicians, stop this nonsense and stood up for women’s rights.”

As for Hobbs’s allegation that Riley was “speaking up for herself,” Gaines clarified, “I’m not speaking up for myself… I’m done playing sports. I’m not fighting for me. I’m actually supposed to be in dental school this year. But I’ve changed my life plans because I see what’s at stake if someone doesn’t fight for the present and next generation.”

Someone who’s obviously not fighting for present and future generations is President Joe Biden, who announced Monday that if Rep. Greg Steube’s (R-Fla.) girls’ sports bill makes it to his desk, he’d veto it. In the White House’s Statement of Administration Policy, the president’s team called the proposal “discriminatory.” Siding with the woke ideology that’s erasing women from fields, courts, and diamonds across America, the White House claimed, “Politicians should not dictate a one-size-fits-all requirement that forces coaches to remove kids from their teams.”

According to Family Research Council’s Meg Kilgannon, “one size fits all” is “a Biden administration specialty when it comes to the transgender agenda. They will sacrifice safety and fairness for women and girls to advance the cause of men/boys who think they are women/girls. This is a movement driven from the top down,” she told The Washington Stand, “and the Biden administration is doing its part to suppress opposition by threatening and bullying even Members of Congress.”

With a whopping 93 Republican co-sponsors, Steube is making it clear that Americans don’t share the Democrats’ extreme views. “This is an 80% issue,” the Florida congressman told “The Faulkner Focus.” And frankly, he said, “I think every American should know where their member of Congress sits on this issue.” Let’s not forget, Steube explained, “Title IX was created by Congress 50 years ago for women’s sports — to allow women to be able to compete with each other at collegiate levels and activities and sports. And this [would] completely [do] away with [that] … by allowing biological males to compete with women in women’s sports.”

And, as Steube reminded everyone, “The other piece of this, too, is having biological men that are identifying as women in girls’ bathrooms and girls’ locker rooms changing with them [and] all the things that come with that. The American people don’t support that.”

Neither, presumably, do a majority of the House, who will have an opportunity to vote on the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act later this week.

As for Gaines, she’ll continue to put her own safety at risk to stop an agenda that she calls “manipulative” and “violent.” “This whole movement,” she insisted, “it’s vengeful, it’s hateful. I’ve never seen a movement quite like this movement.” She should know after her April visit to San Francisco State University, a school she’s now suing after being attacked on campus and barricaded in a room after an angry mob chased her out of a discussion on Title IX and threatened her.

“I thought I knew what I was getting myself into when agreeing to speak at this university,” she wrote in a new op-ed, “but I was wrong. There was no way to prepare myself for what happened.”

“People always wonder why more women aren’t speaking up,” Gaines went on, “(especially the female athletes who have firsthand experience competing against a male). This is why,” she insists about her own horrifying experience.

Even so, Riley believes, “The protestors’ plan backfired on them. They intended to silence me, but they only gave me a larger platform. My social media following quadrupled, and the public support around the world to protect women’s sports and sex-based rights skyrocketed. The general public is now more eager to get involved in the fight than ever before.”
