Law enforcement experts warn of ‘another 9-11’ after bungled release of migrant tied to terrorism

Former law enforcement officials are warning of potential terrorist attacks and a repeat of 9/11 following a Homeland Security Department watchdog report that exposed government bungling that allowed an illegal immigrant on the terrorist watchlist to be released into the U.S. and roam free for two weeks before he was apprehended.

According to a report released by the DHS’s Office of Inspector General, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released an illegal immigrant on the terrorist watchlist last year, and due to a lack of coordination, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) took more than two weeks to arrest the individual.

The report, which was completed last week, found that after apprehending the illegal immigrant in Arizona in April 2022, the CBP released them “without providing information requested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Terrorist Screening Center (TSC) that would have confirmed the migrant was a positive match with the Terrorist Screening Data Set (Terrorist Watchlist).”

The illegal immigrant wasn’t arrested by ICE until May 6, 2022 due to “challenges transferring documentation while planning to arrest the migrant and obtaining GPS data while conducting the arrest,” the DHS watchdog wrote.

Former CBP Acting Commissioner Mark Morgan told the John Solomon Reports podcast in an episode to be aired Thursday that the OIG report “is a huge black eye” for U.S. counterterrorism officials.

However, he noted that under the Biden administration, the job of Border Patrol agents “is not to secure the border, your job is to process and release illegal aliens as fast as possible.”

Morgan speculated that many possible terrorists already could be in the U.S. among the estimated 1.7 million illegal immigrants who entered the country under the Biden administration without being apprehended by law enforcement.

“[W]e know they’ve encountered an unprecedented number, hundreds of illegal aliens that are on the terrorist screening database,” Morgan said. “Think about how many potential, would-be illegal aliens that could serve as a potential national security threat are among the 1.7 million. We literally could have the next terrorist sleeper cell in United States planning the next terrorist attack, and we would have no idea. That’s fact, it’s not hyperbole.”

According to the most recent CBP numbers, the agency has apprehended 464 known or suspected terrorists during fiscal year 2023, which ends on Sept. 30. Last fiscal year, CBP apprehended 478 known or suspected terrorists. During the prior fiscal year, which was partly under the Trump administration, there were 173….

Make Public Libraries Safe for our Kids Again

Library shelves are chock-full of LGBT propaganda.

Public libraries are no longer a place for kids or even adults, for that matter. They have become hubs of X-rated material designed to sexualize children and debase human sexuality to the lowest common denominator.

This past Sunday afternoon, a good friend, part of the Church Militant Resistance crew, stopped by my home. She was carrying a couple of heavy bins of library books. Both bins were chock-full of pro-LGBTQ+ books for kids. Some were rainbow-colored, some were comic books, some were paperbacks, and some were hardcovers, but all were designed to foist on kids the deviant gender agenda.

My friend explained her visit and the books: “I am entrusting these to your care for the next week or so. Please say some deliverance prayers over them, Father!”

As she unpacked the bins and placed the books across my sofa, she explained, “A group of us, all concerned parents, signed these out of our local public library yesterday so that they would not fall into the hands of our youth.”

As she shuffled the books around on the sofa. She concluded: “What we will do with these books after Pride Month is over, we have yet to figure out. But please hang on to this demonic filth for us for the time being.”
All of the books my Resistance friend removed from the shelves of the public library — in an effort mirroring that of other concerned U.S. parents — constitute propaganda by LGBTQ+ proponents aiming to groom and ruin children.

Her visit confirmed for me what self-proclaimed “library watchdog” and author Dan Kleinman told me about the importance of parents resisting the American Library Association’s push to fill libraries with pornographic materials targeting children.

“Please get involved and stay involved, no matter what names they call you,” the moderator of the SafeLibraries blog said.

He added:

Parents must take back control of libraries, and the best way is by getting on library boards and removing the influence of the American Library Association. If parents do nothing, ALA retains control, and it “reframes” adult material as diversity and inclusion, leaving children exposed to adult material. Do not be complacent. Now that parents are waking up to reality, ALA is ratcheting up its activities that harm children — even the White House has jumped on board with ALA ideology.

After my friend left, I perused the contents of the bins.

A Look at the Books

Children’s section at the public library

The total number of LGBTQ+ books checked out by the group of concerned parents is 34, representing a total of over 9,500 printed pages of propaganda.

Some of the titles of the books are

  • What’s the T? (pushing transgenderism)
  • The Pride Guide
  • Queer! The Ultimate Guide for Teens
  • The Book of Pride
  • The ABC’s of LGBTQ+ and
  • Gender Quest.

Common themes emerged in the 34 publications, including

  • Homosexuality and gay sex are all A-OK
  • There are no downsides to being gay
  • What feels good for you is right
  • What gender you are born with no longer matters; you can change, and
  • Don’t accept any pushback about being LGBTQ+ from anyone — not your parents, family or friends.

It was clear that the books have no intrinsic value, either from an educational or cultural standpoint. None are a work of Shakespeare in the rough. Most significantly, there is no spiritual dimension. God is not only dead in the books; He does not exist. Simply put, they are propaganda designed to indoctrinate youth into a queer lifestyle. If you doubt me, listen to the chants at the New York Pride Parade this weekend: “We’re queer. We’re here. We’re coming for your children.”

Looking at two books more closely reveals the depth of the atheistic, depraved pro-LGBTQ+ doctrine they promote.

Sick ‘Sacrament’

The Pride Guide by Jo Langford, published in 2018, boasts of being the complete guide to sexual and social health for LGBTQ+ youth.

Nowhere in this book is there a mention of God or a higher power. In the short, two-page chapter called “The Religion Thing,” Langford concedes that “many queer people do find a way to mesh their beliefs and identity together.” But, the chapter is really just about bullying.

“Coming out,” on the other hand, holds great significance for Langford. If the author believed in the sacred, it would be tantamount to a sacred rite, akin to the sacrament of confirmation for Catholics. Langford dedicates a chapter to this so-called rite.

She describes it this way: “‘Coming out’ is the process of accepting and being open about one’s sexual orientation, particularly when one’s orientation is not straight. This is part of being healthy, being true to yourself, and being the most ‘you’ you can be.”

I suppose it’s vital that you do the ritual correctly so that you get all the graces from this black sacrament.

Throughout Langford’s book, she adheres to the belief that what feels good is right. Indeed, this is her main theme. It is also the anti-Christian occultist Aleister Crowley’s hedonistic commandment: “Do what thou wilt.” For Langford, as with Crowley,  the subjective feelings of a person are what make something good. Catholics, by contrast, understand something as good only in how it adheres to God’s natural law.

No Treatise on Transing

Ashley Mardell’s The ABC’S of LGBT+, published in 2016 and overpriced at $16.08 on Amazon, is advertised as a “powerful tool for those that might be questioning their own identity.” It reiterates for 189 pages that changing your identity and surgically removing parts of your body to suit the new transgender ideology is as easy as the ABCs.

Mardell justifies her theme, saying: “Learning about new identities broadens our understanding of humanity, heightens our empathy, and allows us different, valuable perspectives.”

There is no discussion of how the fraudulent trans ideology pervaded the medical profession, who is really pushing the agenda, how schools are involved and how it is being used to separate children from their families.

There is no input from doctors opposed to transgender ideology. There are no cautions about the dangers of trans surgeries. There’s nothing about the hundreds of thousands of dollars for the drugs and surgeries. There’s nothing about the lifelong struggle to maintain the changes or repair the damage wrought by the mutilation of healthy body parts. There’s nothing about the ethics of fast-tracking trans surgeries — including for people with autism.

There’s nothing about how transgender ideology denies basic truths about the human person.

This is not a guide in the true sense of the word. It is a work of fiction.

The author, currently going by the pseudonym Ash Hardell, recently underwent a radical mastectomy, having her perfectly healthy breasts removed because she fancies herself a man. Mardell — aka Hardell — posted a video of herself after surgery in which she dances shirtless in men’s underwear. The perversity of posting half-naked pictures of herself celebrating the surgical removal of her breasts matches the perverse advice in her book.

The reality is that most public libraries are not safe for kids. It is foolhardy for them to be left unattended in what was once a safe space. The only option for a parent is for parents and guardians to accompany their children to the library and be very careful of the materials they peruse.

Kleinman, the stalwart advocate for children and for making public libraries safe for kids again, urges parents to “get involved in your local library, and take it back from the leftist, godless commies.”

House Homeland Security Committee To Spotlight Cartel Violence In Next Phase Of Mayorkas Probe

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green will begin the second phase of his investigation into Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas next week to focus on the role of cartels in the border crisis ensuing under his leadership, a committee spokesperson exclusively told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The first hearing will be from a House Homeland subcommittee July 12 on the cartels’ smuggling of fentanyl across the southern border and its effects on the American people, the committee spokesperson told the DCNF. The first phase of Green’s probe focused on Mayorkas’ alleged “dereliction” of his duty as secretary of DHS.

“For over two years, President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas’ refusal to enforce our nation’s laws and their cancellation of effective border security policies have become an integral part of the drug cartels’ business model,” Green said in a statement to the DCNF.

The committee spokesperson also pointed to previous statements Mayorkas has made, including his apparent ignorance to the fact that Mexican cartels use wristbands to track their illegal migrant smuggling enterprises.

Mayorkas also testified to Congress that DHS has “operational control” of the southern border, which his then-Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz subsequently contradicted.

Between October 2022 and May, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) apprehended 20,923 foreigners with criminal histories and 442 gang members, according to nationwide federal data. Of additional concern to the committee, illicit fentanyl that’s largely smuggled across the southern border is part of the reason for the spike in drug overdose deaths in the U.S., including the more than 100,000 that occurred in 2021.

“Consequently, a record number of families across this country have had to mourn the loss of sons and daughters, fathers and mothers to fentanyl poisonings. Also devastating is the horrendous violence and intimidation those making the journey to the border and law enforcement personnel responding to the crisis face at the hands of cartels,” Green said.

Republican Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, Pat Fallon of Texas and Andy Biggs of Arizona have already filed articles of impeachment against Mayorkas. There is, however, a faction of House Republicans who are going to wait for the conclusion of Green’s investigation before backing impeachment, according to congressional staffers who recently spoke with the DCNF.

“Homeland Republicans will not stop in our investigation of Mayorkas’ failure to uphold the duties of his office and our efforts to ensure this administration is held accountable for ceding operational control of our border to these violent organizations,” Green said in his statement to the DCNF.

The testimony of the witness in hiding in the Biden corruption investigation, Dr. Gal Luft, co-director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security (IAGS), presents an appalling description of high crimes by the Biden crime family.  This should be the biggest story in the world instead the enemedia is trying to drown it out with the cocaine story. There is no free press anymore, no media just a wing of the Democrat party.

Luft was a direct witness to the Chinese bribery scheme between Chinese companies (CFC) and the Biden family.

Here is a man with an impeccable CV and no political agenda who comes forward with evidence of incredible Biden corruption that impacts national security (and an upcoming election) and is rewarded for honor and integrity with multiple indictments for crimes that never happened, make no sense and force him and his family into hiding.

The DOJ and the FBI are rotten to their core. Irretrievably broken. It’s very scary, The sheer level of corruption at the three letter agencies alone is gut wrenching and indicative of the pure rot that’s been festering in Washington far too long.

I can’t imagine anyone in their right mind coming forward as a whistleblower or with any incriminating information. Its results in a life sentence of persecution and prosecution. It’s unfathomably corrupt.

Israeli professor Dr. Gal Luft, the “missing witness” in the Biden corruption investigation, accuses the Bidens of receiving bribes from individuals linked to Chinese military intelligence and using an FBI mole named “One Eye” to share classified information with CEFC China Energy.

In an exclusive video obtained by Miranda Devine at The Post, Luft claims that he provided incriminating evidence to six officials from the FBI and the Department of Justice during a secret meeting in Brussels in March 2019, but he alleges that it was covered up.

According to Luft, he voluntarily informed the US government about a potential security breach and compromising information regarding Joe Biden, who was vying to be the next president at the time.

However, instead of being recognized as a whistleblower, he claims to have now become the target of the very same people he informed.

Luft asserts that his recent arrest in Cyprus was an attempt to prevent him from testifying to the House Oversight Committee about the Biden family’s alleged corruption.

Luft denies being an arm dealer stating that he “has never traded a bullet in his entire life.”

He further states that “nowhere in my indictment has the DOJ claimed or presented evidence that I bought, sold shipped or financed any weapons.”

Luft alleges that Joe Biden, shortly after his vice presidential term, attended a meeting at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, DC, with his son Hunter and officials from CEFC.

Luft claims that his account of the meeting was later corroborated when the famous laptop belonging to Hunter Biden, which contained all the emails and receipts, was handed to the FBI.

According to Luft, CEFC was paying Hunter $100,000 a month and his uncle Jim Biden $65,000 in exchange for their connections and the use of the Biden name to promote China’s Belt and Road Initiative globally.

Luft denies operating as an unregistered foreign agent and questions why he is being indicted for ghostwriting an innocuous article for which he received no payment when the Bidens’ influence-peddling on behalf of foreign governments goes unpunished.

“Why does the mother of all FARA cases which is the Biden’s systemic influence peddling on behalf of foreign governments for which they raked in millions go unpunished?”

Media silence on key would-be witness Gal Luft’s Biden revelations speaks volumes

The drip-drip-drip of evidence detailing the Biden family criminal enterprise has turned into a torrent.

And the sudden quiet from our most strident “democracy defenders” has grown deafening.

Case in point: the silence around revelations contained in a video exclusively obtained by The Post from Gal Luft, a key would-be witness on Biden family corruption.

Luft alleges that he provided evidence of Biden family misdeeds to the FBI in 2019.

He claims too that his own 2023 arrest was meant to stop him from testifying before the House Oversight Committee that:

  • Joe Biden, along with Hunter, met with reps of the Chinese-government-linked energy conglomerate CEFC at the Four Seasons hotel in Washington, DC right after leaving the vice presidency — an allegation independently confirmed.
  • CEFC was paying huge sums to Hunter and uncle Jim ($100,000 and $65,000 a month) in exchange for use of their family name in promoting China’s interests.
  • Hunter had a pet mole within the FBI, who provided tipoffs to CEFC honchos about incoming heat.
  • The prosecutors trying CEFC big Patrick Ho for bribery in 2017 forbade him from so much as mentioning the name Biden, despite Ho having paid Hunter $1 million as a “legal retainer.”
  • So what, exactly, will it take to get liberal media activated on the Biden Mafia? A videotape of Joe himself accepting a suitcase of cash? Even then, seems our in-the-tank press would find a way to run interference. Especially now that the ugly collusion between the feds and Big Tech that silenced our initial Hunter reporting has broken apart.

Remember: The New York Times, The Washington Post and other marquee media spent years hyping up the flimsy, fabricated claims of the Steele Dossier and other Russiagate nonsense.

Now that a genuine presidential corruption scandal has broken out — and it has, despite the best media efforts — our fearless journos display only utter disinterest.

No reporters truly digging deep into the complicated web of Biden business entities.

No pressure on Hunter, Jim or Joe Biden himself — despite the abundance of pointers directly implicating him.

Here is the full transcript of Professor Luft’s remarks:

Day. My name is Dr. Gal Luft. For the past 20 years, I’ve been the co-director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security, a Washington based think tank focused on energy security. For the past 15 years, I’ve been a resident of Israel. And for four years, I was senior advisor to the China energy company CFC, at the same time of its dealings with the Biden family.

Under normal circumstances, I would be testifying before Congress about my experience with CFC. Sadly, due to circumstances I shall describe here in this video, I am forced to tell you this story via video.

My ordeal goes back to a fatal decision I made in March of 2019 to share with the US government my knowledge about the Biden family’s relations with CFC. As I said it was in March of 2019 in a two day session at the US Embassy in Brussels. I insisted that the meeting take place in March because at the time there were rumors that Joe Biden was planning to run for president.

I saw it as my civic duty to alert the government beforehand and given enough time to probe the issue. I want to be clear, I’m not a Republican. I’m not a Democrat. I have no political motive or agenda. I did it out of deep concern, that if the Biden’s were to come to power, the country would be facing the same dramatic Russia collusion scandal. Only this time was China. Sadly, because of the DOJ is cover up. This is exactly what happened.

The DOJ sent to Brussels a delegation of six people, two prosecutors from the Southern District of New York by the names of Daniel reichental, and Catherine Ghosh. And for FBI agents. One of them was Special Agent Joshua Wilson from the Baltimore Field Office, which also happens to cover the state of Delaware. Or you want to ask yourself, why did the government dispatch to Europe so many people? Why six? Why not to? The answer is that they knew very well that I’m a credible witness. And I have insider knowledge about the group and the individuals that enrich the Biden family.

Over an intensive to you to the meeting, I shared my information about the Biden family’s financial transactions with CFC, including specific dollar figures. I also provided the name of ROB Walker, who later became known as Hunter Biden’s bagman yet as we now know today from the whistleblower testimony. Gary Shapley, it took the DOJ whole 21 months to probe the issue and to actually talk to Walker. But perhaps the most alarming information I revealed was of a mole within the DOJ who shared classified information with Hunter Biden and his Chinese partners.

I told the DOJ that Hunter was closely associated with a very senior retired, retired FBI official who had distinct physical characteristic. He had one eye one of the FBI agents at the time, even told me, you know, that would be very easy for us to find there aren’t that many one eyed people in the bureau. information I provided the FBI in March of 2019 was fully corroborated nine months later, when the famous laptop belonging to Hunter Biden which contained all the emails and receipts was handed to the FBI. And guess who seized the laptop from the computer repair shop. It was special agent Joshua Wilson, who was with me in Brussels earlier.

In other words, the FBI knew about from me about Biden’s CFC deals before they got ahold of the laptop way before they had enough time to investigate the issue. But they did after Brussels, I never heard back from DOJ. But instead of showing appreciation for my whistleblowing I became public enemy number one.

Over the past four years that followed me, my family, my friends, my associates, were all harassed, intimidated and finally, I was prosecuted. Despite all that, on the eve of the 2020 elections, I sent my lawyer to Washington to meet with them. Acting Deputy Attorney General Mr. Richard Donahue to ensure he was informed about the information I had given his department in Brussels 19 months earlier, and also to warn him that there may still be a mole within the DOJ. Mr. Donohue confirmed to my lawyer that he was aware of my claims, but now we learn from the IRS whistleblower that it was reached on are you himself who suspended the investigation few weeks earlier, on September 4 2020. On the grounds that it was, quote, too close to the elections.

Finally in February, this year, I was arrested in Cyprus on an extradition request from the Southern District of New York. The very same office that met with me in Brussels. Seven count indictment said I violated the export arms export control act.
If I convicted I would face up to 100 years in prison.

While I was detained in Cyprus I was portrayed in the international media is an arms dealer even though I never treated the bullet in my entire life. In fact, nowhere in my indictment the DOJ claimed or presented evidence that I bought sold shipped or financed any weapons.

I was also charged with acting as an unregistered agent of CFC which is a far violation the DOJ says that I caused the payment of $6,000 a month to former CIA director James Woolsey in order to put his name on an article I had ghostwritten for the China Daily newspaper nor in the indictment the DOJ mentioned the well known fact that Mr. Woolsey had been an adviser to my Think Tank since 2002. And that there was nothing in the article that represented Chinese interest of the country the notion that I got a lift, spoon fed a CIA director with policy proposals on China. treating him like a useful idiot is not only an insult to the intelligence community, it is an insult to the intelligence of every American.

The US government claims that I acted on behalf of CFC and therefore I’m a foreign agent, but let me tell you a little secret. The same CFC that the US government claims was associated with a Chinese intelligence and quote, an international criminal organization was a 501 C three charitable organization registered in the state of Virginia and approved by the IRS. The same organization was also a major donor to the Clinton Foundation and Columbia University. Needless to say that none of their executives were charged for any wrongdoing.

If CFC was indeed a foreign entity, tied so closely to the PRC, why was it allowed to operate freely as a public charity? Why did the government expose taxpayers to the risk of funding an entity knew at the time was so compromised? Why did the did they not warn anybody? Is it the role of government to protect its people? I’m also being charged for making a false statement in Brussels. But why was I in Brussels to begin with? What was I there to eat belgian waffles?

The DOJ charged me for making a statement in a voluntary meeting that would have never come to bear if not for my good citizenship. So let me propose an idea. Why would the DOJ make my indictment public? Do it? Make my day and put it on your website so that every American can see the nature of the allegations against me? The quality of the evidence and the length the government is willing to go to weaponize the justice system to punish whistleblowers like me.

I have another idea. Why won’t the FBI submit to Congress the minutes from the Brussels meeting? Let everybody see what happened in Brussels. Why not? Are you trying to protect anything? Are you trying to protect anybody?

I also hope that the DOJ can explain why they targeted me in Cyprus and not in my home country of Israel where I reside most of the time. After all, the US shares a bilateral extradition treaty with Israel. So if any of my crimes are real and serious, and this is not just political prosecution, why did the US need to sneak up on me during a short visit to Cyprus? Do they now trust the Israeli judicial system to judge this issue on its merits? What’s going on here?

Also, why did the DOJ wait six whole years? well beyond the statute of limitation to indict me. And why did the DOJ choose to unseal to the indictment on November 1 2022? The very same week of the midterm elections. Could this have anything to do with the fact of the fear that once Republicans gain control over Congress and begin to investigate their cover up would be in full display?

And perhaps the biggest question of all why am I being indicted for FARA for ghostwriting an innocuous article, which I receive no payment, let alone from a foreign government? When the mother of all  FARA cases the Biden’s systemic influence peddling on behalf of foreign governments for which they raked millions, goes unpunished. This is in a nutshell, why I decided to act the way I did. Because I do not have faith that I would receive a fair trial in a New York court. Let me tell you why. CFC Secretary General Dr. Patrick Ho, who paid Hunter Biden a million dollars for god knows what was not allowed to mention the word Biden before the jury when he was tried in New York in 2018. The very same prosecutor who is now after me, Daniel Richenthal. told the judge at the time that mentioning the name Biden would “add a political dimension to the case” and the judge agreed with me that if I ever brought before us court, I would not be allowed to utter the word Brussels or Biden.

And the real context of my arrest, me being patient zero of the Biden family investigation would be hidden from the jury. Let it sink in. I, who volunteered to inform the US government about potential security breach, and about compromising information about a man vying to be the next president, am now being hunted by the very same people whom I informed and may have to live on the run for the rest of my life. I warn the government about potential risks to the integrity of the 2020 elections. If convicted, by a US court would never be able to vote again in the US elections. Just think about it, and ask yourself, who’s the real criminal in this story?

ABSURED! Biden Regime Supports ‘Blocking out the Sun’

White House Floats the Idea of Blocking Out the Sun

For years, advocates have refused to consider the possibility that geoengineering to slow climate change could be an option on the table. But we may be at a point where its use is inevitable.

Last week, the United States government tiptoed a little closer to the world of science fiction. In a 44-page report it seemed at pains to say was not its own idea, the White House laid out a five-year research plan to explore the development and eventual deployment of solar radiation management (SRM) technology—the idea of blocking out the sun to slow down climate change.

Skeptics say SRM is dangerous and untested, and has a laundry list of potential impacts that, similarly, seem straight out of a disaster movie: worsened winters, disappearing monsoons, damage to the ozone layer, and droughts that could devastate already dry regions. In recent years, prominent climate scientists have organized to call for a total moratorium on researching and testing the technology. But others say its deployment is becoming virtually inevitable as the world’s biggest polluters—the U.S. among them—appear incapable of making the large-scale adjustments necessary to avoid the catastrophic impacts of climate change.

“The question becomes, what should we do, given that we’re not doing what we should be doing?” said Toby Svoboda, an environmental ethicist at Colgate University and the author of a book on the ethics of climate engineering. “Politically, this is pretty significant, that the Biden administration would signal their openness to this.”

For the uninitiated, SRM encompasses an array of highly controversial geoengineering techniques that minimize the warming impact of the sun—and thus the worsening impacts of human-caused climate change—primarily by injecting reflective chemical compounds into the earth’s atmosphere.

Ordered by Congress as part of a 2022 appropriations bill, the new White House report stops short of issuing a new policy directive on the technology or its use. But it does suggest developing scenarios in which SRM might be used, and even supports testing the technology in small-scale, real-world deployments.

5 Reasons You Must See ‘Sound of Freedom’

UPDATE: Statement by President Donald J. Trump after watching Sound of Freedom.

I really didn’t want to see this movie. Does anyone want to see a movie about horrific crimes against children and the systems that support or fail to stop child sex trafficking? But I felt an obligation to support “Sound of Freedom.” And I was happy to hear the buzz in the conservative media sphere. “Sound of Freedom” was making noise in all the right places.

So I bought my tickets online and told myself that I had at least done my duty to financially support this worthy cause. My seat was sold, and if it went unfilled, the movie theater would still make money. Despite my best efforts to be somewhere else, I found myself in the seat on July 4.

I still don’t quite understand how I left the theater feeling hopeful. I had expected to feel hopeless and disgusted after watching a movie about child sex trafficking. And there were certainly moments of those feelings during the course of the movie. But the power of art to move the human heart is very real, if hard to describe, even after experiencing it.

It’s also hard to describe a movie without spoiling the plot for others. Here are five impressions this movie left on me, and I hope they inspire you to see the movie.

1. “God’s children are not for sale.”

This is the motivation for the main character to move beyond the soul crushing work of tracking organized pedophile networks to rescuing their victims. “Sound of Freedom” made me reflect, once again, on the work we ask others to do in our name: policing, soldiering, guarding. It is hard work, mostly done by men, who lay down their lives to protect and serve others. We ask them to deal with many of the things we do not want to face. Many do this work because of a higher calling, one that needs our support in prayer.

2. “I feel like she’s my daughter.”

Mrs. Tim Ballard texts this message to her husband while he is away searching for a victim. Her love and support for him and his work is beautifully communicated in this movie. She is also asked to bear part of the burden her husband shoulders on our behalf. She represents a much larger group of people who deserve our gratitude and our prayers.

3. “I was that darkness.”

A man contemplates his role as a consumer in the adult sex industry. His redemption from direct involvement is by the grace of God. But this character made me think about what I could or should be doing to address this grave injustice against women and men, girls and boys. At a minimum, opposing the legalization of “sex work” would be a start. Removing pornography and pornographic content from school libraries and curricula is also imperative.

4. “You’re on your own, Tim.”

Government redress of grievances is limited. Tim Ballard, the main character, had to operate on his own to follow the call to protect God’s children. But as Christians we have an obligation to prove that Tim is not alone. Each of us is called to combat the sex industry, whether through promoting organizations like Covenant Eyes that guard against pornography, by speaking out against endeavors to normalize pedophilia, or simply by living a life that upholds the dignity of every male and every female as a human being — not objects for exploitation.

5. “Could you sleep if your child’s bed was empty?”

The plea of a father for his trafficked daughter. This theme was the main reason for my initial reluctance to see the film. And it was one of the reasons why, if I had to see it, I would see it in a theater. Hearing a question like that asked in a movie theater for me is very different from hearing it asked in my living room, with my own children’s beds right upstairs.

There are some movies to see and “leave” at the theater rather than experience them at home. But this movie is one to share with others, at a theater or at your church, or even in your home. While it is not for young children, this movie is a remarkable work of art about a horrific topic. I’m grateful to Angel Studios for distributing the movie, and I encourage you to see it. I am glad I did.

The Bloody Collapse of the Red-Green-Rainbow Troika Begins

On May 14th, 2016 I wrote the following about what I labeled the “Red-Green-Rainbow Troika”,

I have written that President Obama’s greatest political achievement has been to fundamentally transform the Democratic Party. The New Democratic Party (NDP) is an alliance which I call the Red-Green-Rainbow Troika or RGRT. It consists of new groups that Democrats have not historically allied themselves with, until now.

The Democratic Party is no longer the party of President John F. Kennedy. Seldom does one hear JFK’s name invoked by Democrats. Why? Because JFK was a war hero, a lifetime member of the NRA, a Catholic, he hated Communists and fought communism, he and his brother Bobby fought organized crime by profiling Italian Americans and he loved America.

Today JFK would be labeled by his own party as a Constitutional conservative.

Fast forward seven years and two months later to July 6th, 2023 and we are witnesses to the bloody breaking apart of the Red-Green-Rainbow Troika.

We are seeing it in communities in the United States, France and Germany where riots are burning down buildings, cars, neighborhoods. The police are under attack. And with these riots their Western cultures are collapsing due to two thing — 1. The mass immigration of the Islamic (Green) culture and 2. The embracing of Communist/Socialist/Fascist (Red) political ideologies. Both of which are incompatible with the core moral and political values of  America’s Constitutional Republic and Western Civilization.

But, what are these cultures and political ideologies?

Who is winning?

In the United States here’s how some celebrated Independence Day 2023:

In Germany we are seeing massive protests by those who yell “Allah Akbar” in the streets:

In France we are seeing others doing the same:

It appears that Islam is winning over the leftist/Socialist/Communists in Germany and France. It now appears that the “Green” in the “Red-Green-Rainbow Troika” are on top of the heap.

The Red–Green–Rainbow Troika

As I pointed out in 2016 these groups are incompatible for a number of key reasons including:

  1. Communists hate all religions as the opiate of the people, including Islam, but align themselves with the Islamists hoping that, at some point, they, the Communists, will come to power and then cancel their former ally.
  2. Muslims hate Communists and execute gays (sodomites) but are willing in the short term to align with both until they can gain the upper hand. As in Iran when the Shaw was dethroned by Islamists and Communists, one the Islamists took control of the Iranian government, under Ayatollah Khomeni and the Mullahs. they imprisoned, purged and murdered the Communists.
  3. Gays hate all religions, but make an exception for Islam i.e. the enemy of my enemy is my friend. What the gays are not foreseeing that when the Muslims take control of the culture they begin executing gays (e.g. Afghanistan, ISIS, Iran).

Here are some of the myths that have become the official ideology of the Red-Green-Rainbow Troika:

  • The greatest national security threat is climate change (i.e. formerly global warming).
  • White Christian men are a greater threat than the Islamic State, Iran and the Black Lives Matter movement.
  • Spending on social programs is more important than spending on national security.
  • Engagement and dialogue with America’s enemies (i.e. Iran) is preferred to any form of confrontation.
  • Nationalized health care (the Affordable Care Act) is affordable.
  • Deficit spending is good for the economy and will create jobs.
  • Putting more Americans on the public dole is good for creating more government jobs.
  • Anyone who disagrees with the neo-Democrat Party policies is racist, homophobic, Islamophobic and a national security threat.
  • People don’t kill people, guns kill people (e.g. need to outlaw guns).
  • Public schools must teach children what to think, not how to think (i.e. Common Core).
  • Aborting the unborn and selling their body parts is noble.
  • Bigger government, more regulations and centralized powers and greater control over the behaviors of citizens is good.
  • Coal, oil and natural gas are evil.
  • Saving the planet is more important than saving the human race.
  • A weak America is good for world peace.
  • The Judeo/Christian God is dead.

The Counter Revolution

Soviet politician, political theorist and revolutionary and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Soviet Union from 1941 to 1953 Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin wrote,

“Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.”

The swamp is in the school house and in the White House. The swamp exists in every classroom and boardroom in America.

But the most nefarious and most successful weapon is — EDUCATION!

There is a counter revolution building. It is called the “drain the swamp movement.” The movement intends to retake our education system at every level and raise a new generation of American patriots.

There are many swamp creatures but the most dangerous and deadly are those who attack our faith, families and freedoms.

Swamp creatures use various weapons against freedom loving patriots from the Covid-19 lockdowns and mandates to the control of what we eat, use, drive and how we live in order to “save the plant” from global warming.

The counter revolution is being led by parents and women. These large groups of all races, ethnicities and creeds are saying enough is enough.

The counter revolution is showing itself in numerous ways from boycotting those corporations who are part of the Red-Green-Rainbow Troika, to speaking out against those who are grooming underaged children by introducing them to pornography and homosexuality in public, private and religious schools, to creating groups like Moms for Liberty that are taking back their roles as women and mothers and grandmothers.

This counter revolution will determine the outcome of the2024 presidential primaries for both the DNC and the GOP.

The power of this counter revolution is being felt across America. We can only hope and pray that those in Europe see what we are seeing and elect leaders like the first female Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni leader of the Fratelli d’Italia (Brothers of Italy) Party.

The Red-Green-Rainbow Troika began the revolution. The patriots in America can end it peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

“God’s Children Are Not For Sale”

Some people discount America as founded because of slavery. However, the founders created the framework by which it could be uprooted one day; and it was, at a cost of about 700,000 men who died in the Civil War.

Meanwhile, slavery was not unique to America, as the late Dr. Walter Williams of George Mason University once observed. In fact, what is unique were the considerable resources spent to uproot it in the Western world.

Fast forward to today. It is estimated that there are more human slaves today than there were back then, partly because of the increase in population.

Perhaps about two million of today’s slaves are kidnapped children that are being sex-trafficked.

Well, just in time for July 4th comes a powerful new movie exposing this particular problem, and it’s called “Sound of Freedom.” It stars Jim Caviezel, who played Jesus in “The Passion of the Christ.”

Jim Caviezel says that by watching the movie you are sending a statement that you are willing to fight this horrible practice of child-sex trafficking. Part of the goal of the film is to create awareness of the problem in the first place. He also said, “It’s got to stop. We have the power to do it.”

I got to speak with Dr. Ted Baehr, the founder and publisher of Movieguide.org, which helps provide a Biblical perspective on the movies, about this new movie.

Ted told me, “It’s a wonderful movie. It’s a 4-star movie….These are great film-makers. They did ‘Bella,’ which is a beautiful film.”

“Sound of Freedom” is based on the true life story of a Homeland Security agent, Tim Ballard, who doggedly works to rescue these children that are victims of sex-trafficking. But after a while, in dangerous parts of Latin America, he is beyond the agency’s jurisdiction. So he ends up choosing to lose his job and his pension in order that he might gain the freedom of these poor kids he is striving to rescue. He also risks his life to do all this.

In particular, Ballard arrested an American pedophile and in the process rescued an 8-year old boy from this miserable servitude. When Ballard found out the boy had an 11-year old sister, he could not rest until he rescued her.

Baehr notes, “But Homeland Security was not about to fund all that…so the next thing that happens is he starts his own organization to go out and start dealing with some of these problems. It is an exciting and thrilling movie…It is a heavy topic. It’s not for younger children.” Ted adds it’s not for viewers under 17.

Stanley Goldenberg of South Florida has a ministry, in which he promotes faith-based movies. In a radio segment, Stan told me, “These are little kids being used as sex slaves, sometimes multiple times a day. And then when they’re worn out, they sell their organs. This is a horrendous crime, and the thought of the film-makers is to put this in front of people in a very well done film. This is a top notch film, incredible to watch in every way.”

I’ve seen the movie, “Sound of Freedom,” at a premiere in Miami and highly recommend it—to age appropriate audiences. The film makers and Tim Ballard himself appeared afterward. They said they want the movie to be like today’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin, which pricked the conscience of the nation, helping to spark the war that ended American slavery.

Of course, “Sound of Freedom” deals with a most disgusting subject, but it does so in a tasteful way. It’s like a crime drama that keeps you glued to your seat.

Historically, the church of Jesus Christ has been on the forefront of setting the prisoners free of rescuing those in danger. The least we could do is to support the efforts promoted in this movie—to work toward ending this terrible scourge of our time.

In a forward to the new book, Stealing Freedom, Alveda King, the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., asseverates, “As Christ’s ambassadors, we are called to be at the heart of every good movement of social and political concern.”

William Wilberforce was the great Christian abolitionist who got slavery ended in the entire British Empire, which took him 50 years to accomplish. He once said, “Let it not be said that I was silent when they needed me.”

One of the lines in the movie is, “God’s children are not for sale.” “Sound of Freedom” aims to pressure authorities to much more aggressively arrest and convict both the buyers and the sellers. And thus destroy this illegal market that ruins the lives of these poor children and the souls of the perpetrators.

IRS Whistleblower Knocks Out Hunter Biden’s Lawyers And The Washington Post With One Blow

Hunter Biden’s lawyers tried to turn him into a victim by smearing Gary Shapley — but Shapley fired back.

Hunter Biden’s high-priced attorneys again tried to turn the president’s son into a victim by portraying IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley as a partisan leaker and a criminal — but on Saturday, Shapley responded. Shapley’s counter was a devasting blow to Hunter Biden’s legal strategy and also represented a shot across the bow of the Biden-friendly Washington Post.

On Friday, Winston and Strawn attorney Abbe David Lowell dispatched a 10-page missive to Rep. Jason Smith, R-Mo., the chair of the House Ways and Means Committee, regarding what Lowell called the Republican House’s “obsession with attacking the Biden family.” While the letter complained of the House’s supposed abandonment of congressional protocol and rules of conduct, Hunter Biden’s attorneys’ real focus was Shapley, whom they painted as a partisan hack, not a whistleblower — and a criminal to boot.

The June 30 letter from Hunter’s attorneys strongly implied Shapley was responsible for leaking information to The Washington Post that served as the basis for an Oct. 6, 2022 article authored by Devlin Barrett and Perry Stein. The article claimed that “federal agents investigating President Biden’s son Hunter have gathered what they believe is sufficient evidence to charge him with tax crimes and a false statement related to a gun purchase…” Biden’s lawyers then challenged the House to ask the whistleblowers if they had leaked information to the Post.

Shapley didn’t wait for the House to ask, instead submitting an affidavit to the House Ways and Means Committee on Saturday in which he unequivocally swore he “was not the source for the October 6, 2022, Washington Post article.” Shapley further attested that he had never “had any contact with Barrett or Stein,” the authors of the article. He also stated under oath that he “never leaked confidential taxpayer information.”

The whistleblower then expressly authorized “the Washington Post and/or journalists Devlin Barrett, Perry Stein, or any other Washington Post reporter to release any communications directly or indirectly to or from me,” agreeing “to waive any purported journalistic privilege and/or confidentiality that would have arisen had I been a source for the Washington Post.”

At the same time, Shapley’s lawyers wrote to Washington Post authors Barrett and Stein, noting that “Biden family attorneys have falsely accused SSA Shapley of illegally leaking to you for your story, ‘Federal agents see chargeable tax, gun-purchase case against Hunter Biden.’”

“As you know, SSA Shapley was not a source for you on that story, or any other story for that matter,” the letter continued. “SSA Shapley has never communicated with either of you, either on or off the record.”

Then, after stressing that Shapley had waived any confidentiality that would have arisen, the whistleblower’s lawyers asked them “to correct Mr. Biden’s attorneys and clear SSA Shapley’s good name of these false and retaliatory charges.”

The Federalist asked both Barrett and Stein whether Shapley was a source for their article, but the reporters did not respond to the inquiries. Whether they will respond to Shapley’s entreat remains to be seen.

What is clear, however, is that Hunter Biden’s attorneys don’t care whether Shapley was the source. They are being paid to defend Hunter Biden, and beyond cutting a sweetheart deal with Joe Biden’s DOJ, that means attacking everyone else. With Shapley and his testimony representing the most serious threat to the Biden family, the attacks on the IRS whistleblower are likely to continue.

While there is little that can be done to stop Hunter Biden’s lawyers from smearing Shapley, congressional oversight committees should ensure the Biden administration’s DOJ isn’t providing an assist. A recent New York Times article suggests Hunter Biden’s attorneys are attempting to inveigle the DOJ in the attack on Shapley.

“Hunter Biden’s lawyers have told the Justice Department that Mr. Shapley has broken federal laws that keep grand jury material secret,” The New York Times reported last week. In his Saturday affidavit, Shapley also refuted this point, saying he never knowingly released grand jury material. But that might not matter to a Justice Department that answers to Hunter’s father.

Thankfully, Shapley and the other whistleblowers have a strong advocate in Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, who seems two steps ahead of everything the DOJ and other Biden apologists pull. It is unfortunate, though, that the left-wing press that once championed whistleblowers seems intent now to serve as scribes for Hunter Biden’s attorneys. If the Post reporters remain silent, we’ll know they intend to keep things that way.

BLM Trans-Terrorist Arrested in Philadelphia Mass Shooting That Killed FIVE People, Injuring 2 Children

Gunman arrested for Philadelphia mass shooting which left 5 dead is BLM activist who wore women’s clothes: sources

The rifle-wielding suspect who donned a bulletproof vest before allegedly shooting dead five men and injuring two children in Philadelphia has been identified as a Black Lives Matter supporter who shared gun-toting memes on social media.

Kimbrady Carriker, 40, was nabbed shortly after the bloodshed in the city’s Kingsessing neighborhood Monday night, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported, citing sources.

Cops haven’t yet publicly disclosed the suspect’s identity.

On his Facebook page, Carriker posted two pictures of him wearing a bra, a women’s top and earrings with his hair braided long in March, three months before the alleged shooting.

He also regularly posts about supporting Black Lives Matter, including supporting workers who protested in the Strike For Black Lives in July 2020.

Police said the 40-year-old male suspect was armed with a rifle, pistol, extra magazines, a police scanner and bullet proof vest when he fatally shot four men on the street and then chased and killed a fifth man inside a home.

A 2-year-old boy was shot four times in the legs, while a 13-year-old boy also suffered to gunshot wounds to his legs, according to cops.

The gunman had fired at police as they chased him for several blocks before he eventually surrendered in an alley, Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said.

BREAKING: BLM supporter Kimbrady Watson Carriker named as suspect in Philadelphia mass shooting

Carriker was arrested on Monday evening after allegedly shooting and killing five people.

The suspect wanted in connection with a shooting in Southwest Philadelphia on Monday night has been identified as 40-year-old Kimbrady Watson Carriker.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Carriker was arrested on Monday evening after allegedly shooting and killing five people and injuring two children in the Kingsessing neighborhood.

Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said law enforcement responded to gunfire in the area of South 56th Street and Chester Avenue shortly before 8:30 pm. Around 10 minutes later, police followed and cornered the suspect in an alleyway on the 1600 block of South Frazier Street.

On Facebook, Carriker was seen posting in support of Black Lives Matter, and follows the Black Lives Matter Philly Facebook page.

“Black lives matter today; there will be jobs available. Equal opportunity finally. Just tell us where your quitting so we can send someone over,” Carriker wrote in one Facebook comment responding to a story of workers going on a Strike for Black Lives.

Carriker has also made multiple posts showcasing guns and shooting, including resharing one post showing children shooting, as well as one of a person holding a flintlock pistol with the text “wherefore art thou opposition so I may slide upon thine block and runneth down on thee”

The Biden family arrived back at the White House for Independence Day celebrations as the Secret Service investigates cocaine found in the mansion’s library on Sunday night.

Joe and Jill were joined by son Hunter, his wife Melissa and son Beau, three, as they stepped off Marine One on Tuesday after the discovery of white powder sparked a hazmat situation and forced an evacuation of the White House.

Substance found in White House library tests positive for cocaine

The “unknown item” that forced a brief evacuation of the White House Sunday night and drew a Hazmat team from Washington, DC, Fire and EMS to the executive mansion initially tested positive for cocaine, according to a dispatch call made that evening.

“We have a yellow bar stating cocaine hydrochloride,” a DC firefighter stated in a radio communication at 8:49 p.m. on Sunday.

“Bag it up and take it out,” the firefighter told the Hazmat team.

The white powdery substance was found in the residence’s library, according to the dispatch call.

The Secret Service told The Post the agency “does not comment on an active investigation” and declined to comment further.

“We have a yellow bar stating cocaine hydrochloride,” a DC firefighter stated in a radio communication that shared the results of a test at 8:49 p.m. on Sunday.

Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told the Washington Post that more tests will be conducted to confirm that the substance is in fact cocaine. President Biden was at Camp David at the time of the incident.

Authorities are now trying to determine how the substance got into the White House after a Secret Service agent found the powder during a routine sweep of the premises.

First son Hunter Biden, 53, who has acknowledged a prior addiction to crack cocaine, was on the White House grounds Friday before heading off to Camp David with his father for the holiday weekend.

Torrents of bad news on government spending constantly spout forth from Washington. For example, the feds recently admitted they’d made $247 billion in improper payments last year – with your tax dollars. Since 2004, it brings the tally to $3 trillion worth of mistakes.

That staggering incompetence is roughly equivalent to the GDP of the entire United Kingdom, and federal workers somehow managed to lose it between the figurative couch cushions.

And the numbers only get worse. Large programs like Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Temporary Assistance To Needy Families (TANF) didn’t even report. Bureaucrats decided not to report it, knowing those programs would be “risk susceptible.” No harm, no foul, they said.

Nearly every federal program has been either legally gamed or illegally looted over the last three years.

For example, yet another report emerged estimating at least $200 billion lost to fraudulent Covid-related loans to small businesses. That admission comes from the Small Business Administration’s own Inspector General.

Washington is terrible at doling out your money efficiently. They know it, and they keep asking for more.

So, when there’s a glimmer good news contra this mess, it’s worth taking a pause to acknowledge it, celebrate it, and consider how we might compound it.

Washington’s own internal watchdog, the Government Accountability Office (GAO), reported in June that $46.8 billion of duplicative spending was found and eliminated. Since 2010, $600 billion has been cut from the taxpayer tab.

We know this thanks to the late Senator Tom Coburn (R-Okla.). Back in 2010, Congress and President Obama were once again engaged in tense negotiations over raising the debt ceiling. Coburn demanded the deal require the GAO to routinely search for duplicative programs across departments and tease out inefficiencies. That information is regularly shared with Congress, to help them make better-informed decisions with our tax dollars.

Coburn himself argued, “turning this ready-made list of cuts into savings is one of the best ways Congress can regain the trust and confidence of the American people.” With approval of Congress at a meager 20 percent, it would serve every member to keep that in mind. “No American — regardless of party or ideology — wants to see their tax dollars fund unnecessary duplication and bloat,” said Coburn, who became known as the “Dr. No” of the Senate for his opposition to overspending.

The evidence shows Democrats understand this too.

In 2015, after five years’ worth of these congressionally mandated GAO reports on duplication, the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs held a hearing in which both parties probed for inefficiencies and overlapping missions within the DHS – an enormous department cobbled together after the September 11 attacks.

Ranking Member Tom Carper (D-Del.) opened the hearing by affirming that these GAO reports show “we need sustained leadership and oversight in both the Executive Branch and Congress to decide where there is unnecessary duplication…or where we need better coordination among government programs with similar missions.”

Of Coburn, the Delaware senator said, “Whenever we talk about duplication, I think about Tom Coburn, and I know his spirit is here with us today…Oftentimes we tack on amendments to a piece of legislation and take votes on them, and they are messaging votes. This was far more than that. This was an amendment passed on a debt ceiling increase in 2010 that has had a real impact, provided us excellent information, and provided real savings…So, again, this hearing really is a tribute to Senator Tom Coburn.”

Carper was stating the obvious: the Coburn Rule isn’t political, it’s just conscientious, good governance. We need more of it from our leaders, and more consistently.

This $600 billion in savings is a clear, resounding victory for American taxpayers – but it’s a fraction of the losses. Plenty of work remains for every government leader. The spirit of the Coburn Rule must be a consistent touchstone guiding their decisions.

SHOCKING: Race rioters chant ‘Allahu Akbar’ as they torch France, 719 arrested

On the fifth consecutive night of civil unrest in France over the police-involved shooting death of a teenage boy, a shocking video has emerged of rioters chanting “Allahu Akbar” as they torched the European country.

“Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar,” rioters chanted as they torched vehicles and launched mortar-style fireworks at buildings and police, according to video.

The interior ministry said 719 people had been arrested on Saturday night, compared to 1,311 arrested on Friday and 875 on Thursday night, Associated Press reports. More than 3,000 rioters have been arrested since Tuesday.

The French government deployed 45,000 police to cities across the country in preparation for a potential increase in unrest following Saturday’s funeral for Nahel, a 17-year-old Algerian immigrant, who was shot and killed by police during a traffic stop on Tuesday. Nahel was laid to rest in a Muslim ceremony in the Paris suburb of Nanterre, according to the outlet.

Over the past few days, rioters have clashed with police as they ransacked stores and set fires to famed French cities in protest of alleged racial discrimination by French police agencies.

Hundreds of police officers were deployed to the Champs-Elysees, in the heart of Paris, and guarded its boutiques and city streets with batons and shields. Video shows riot police chasing down protesters and making multiple arrests.

Protests at Moms for Liberty Summit Fueled by SPLC ‘Hate Map’

Moms from across the country have gathered in Philadelphia this weekend for a jam packed Moms for Liberty Joyful Warriors National Summit. The event will be headlined by former President Donald Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), and other political luminaries — but the real stars are the moms in attendance.

They are the moms who chaperone school field trips and wait with and for kids at the school bus stop. They are the moms who volunteer to run school fundraisers, wipe down lunch tables, tie shoes, read stories, and drive carpool. They are the moms who object to dirty and divisive books in the school library. They are the moms who donate backpacks full of food for the kids who might not get a good meal at home over the weekend. They are the moms you know from your neighborhood, your church, and your school.

They are the moms Southern Poverty Law Center put on their “Hate Map” this year, putting a target on the backs of all moms across the country.

They are the moms who endure being threatened by government officials who demanded that the Museum of the American Revolution kick moms out of the venue. Naturally, Young Communist League, ACT UP Philly, and other radicals heard the dog whistle and sprang into action.

Moms for Liberty attendees must walk through a gauntlet of threats and vile chants just to gather in fellowship at a national summit. This is the real reason for their inclusion on SPLC’s Hate Map. This designation is a signal to radical activists to target their fellow Americans. And don’t forget the SPLC’s radical protest insurance policy: Learning for Justice. Just in case the Hate Map is not enough, SPLC seeks to infiltrate schools across the country with polarizing radical sexual and social justice messages in an attempt to warp the minds of the nation’s children. Moms at the Joyful Warriors Summit are onto them, and insist: we don’t co-parent with the government or progressive political groups.

The rights to speak, to gather, and to protest are basic rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. Polarized politics in America today means citizens don’t protest the government’s abuse of our rights as often as we protest our fellow citizens. This kind of division is dangerous when it is based on hate fueled by groups like SPLC and the shock troops they activate. I mean, what national parents conference is complete without protestors tearing up a Bible?

When we see social media posts about this event, they are likely to capture the antics of protestors outside or the much-admired speakers addressing the summit. But I want to make sure you hear from the moms who are there to be together in solidarity. Because at this event, as in life, the moms making things happen in your corner of the world are not necessarily the ones in front of the camera.

A great example of this is my friend Amy Snead, the Moms for Liberty chapter chair from Bedford, Virginia. She shared pictures and described the energy. “The interactions inside this building are joyful and positive. People are networking, getting to know each other, and there is a lot of excitement. There is a unified effort among people who believe the United States is the greatest country in the world and want to work to maintain that. We are laser focused on our mission to defend parental rights at all levels of government. This is truly a nationwide movement with moms leading the charge.”

Meanwhile, outside, there is blaring music and Bible shredding — to “defend democracy.”

California mom Kelly Schenkoske, a presenter at the conference, said, “Being at the Moms for Liberty conference is an honor and an encouragement. I have met wonderful people who care about families and children. What an honor to meet people from all over the country who, despite the hostility they face, continue to stand and lovingly speak up for the protection of children and teens. Outside the conference, I was met with screaming and hostility. These individuals do not know us, and they do not know me. But I was taught to love them and so … despite their words, I have nothing but compassion for the protestors. I am grateful that we live in a nation where we get to speak freely. They have a right to protest, and we have a right to gather and speak as well. What a beautiful gift it is to have freedom.”

Rhode Island mom and Education Center Fellow Nicole Solas shared this: “Don’t be fooled by the woke mob raging outside the Moms For Liberty Summit 2023. Inside the Moms For Liberty Summit the atmosphere is rejuvenating. Mothers like myself eagerly share our stories about advocating for our children’s education and the retaliation that invariably followed. We offer advice and support, laughs and hugs. We don’t all know each other but we know we are all fighting the same war on children and that makes us the same. We stand bravely in front of bright lights and cameras knowing the media will spin our straightforward words into a web of lies. We sit somberly in breakout rooms learning the horrific extent to which our children are sexualized by comprehensive sex education, dehumanized by racialized curriculum, and propagandized to hate America. And then we brainstorm ways to collaborate and defend the liberty of our children and our country. At the end of the day, the hate mob outside is just noise. Inside the summit, we hear very clearly what we have to do, and we remain steadfast.”

America owes a debt of gratitude to Moms for Liberty founders Tiffany Justice and Tina Descovich and they moms they lead. We pray for your safety, the success of this event, and the continued faith-filled work of the Moms for Liberty convening this weekend in Philadelphia. Next week moms will be back at work in our schools, churches, and neighborhoods, doing the things moms do best, with love, faith, and determination.
