Inside The Case Against The Prosecutor Accused Of Putting Criminal Illegals First

As Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano defended himself before Congress on Thursday, a legal expert told the Daily Caller what to expect next in the Department of Justice’s case against him — and what changes could follow.

Jason Johnson, president of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund (LELDF), says he was the first to raise concerns about Descano with the DOJ. Johnson told the Caller he believes the DOJ will find policies or patterns showing Descano offered preferential treatment to illegal aliens over American citizens.

A DOJ statement, paired with a May 6 notice of the investigation, said the department is examining Descano’s plea bargaining, charging decisions and sentencing policies to determine whether non-U.S. citizens were granted preferential treatment.

Johnson said he wrote a letter in December to Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, who signed the notice, outlining accusations against Descano and requesting an investigation.

“I guess they’ve looked at it, and now they’ve decided that there’s enough there for them to investigate,” Johnson said. “They’re taking the exact approach that we asked them to take.”

During his testimony, Descano said his office “does not provide sanctuary or safe harbor to undocumented immigrants,” and that suggesting otherwise promotes a false narrative.

Following the announcement of the investigation, Descano also said that his policies are “fair, legal, and reflect the values of my community.”

“This investigation is the latest example of the Trump administration’s own ‘pattern or practice’ of misusing the Justice Department to launch partisan attacks,” his office later said in a statement, adding that the policies have been in place for more than five years and that the investigation comes a week before Descano is set to speak before Congress. “Our office’s policies are fair, legal, and reflect the values of Fairfax County, and we will not be distracted from our mission of keeping this community safe and holding individuals accountable when they commit crimes.”

Johnson and the Fairfax-based LELDF, which uses litigation and legal advocacy to support law enforcement nationwide, have criticized Descano’s practices since at least the death of Stephanie Minter, a 41-year-old mother allegedly stabbed to death at a county bus stop by a criminal illegal immigrant in February.

Minter’s mother also testified before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement, saying the system had failed her daughter.

“When policies protect people who are known threats, innocent lives are put at risk. When warnings are ignored, families like mine pay the price. This is not just about Stephanie, this is about every mother, every parent, every child, every person who waits at a bus stop, walks home, or goes to work trusting that they’ll be safe,” she testified. “We cannot ignore this; we cannot look away. Compassion should never come at the cost of public safety. Care for one group should not mean danger for another.”

The issue did not end with Minter’s death. By April, the Caller reported that illegal aliens made up 75 percent of suspects arrested for murder in Fairfax County in 2026, some of whom had already accumulated prior arrests and charges.

“It’s almost every week that an illegal immigrant is having their charges dropped or otherwise not having to face justice in Fairfax County,” Johnson said.

The DOJ notice says its investigation will be conducted under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Safe Streets Act and the law enforcement misconduct statute, 34 U.S.C. § 12601.

Title VI prohibits any program receiving federal financial assistance from discriminating on the basis of race, color or national origin. Johnson said the DOJ appears poised to examine whether Descano’s office discriminated against U.S. citizens on the basis of national origin.

The Safe Streets Act is similar, functioning as a “purse strings” statute that bars federal funding for programs that discriminate on the basis of national origin and other protected characteristics.

The law enforcement misconduct statute, 34 U.S.C. § 12601, allows the DOJ to target a “pattern or practice” by law enforcement officials that deprives people of their rights.

To establish a violation of this statute, the DOJ must show more than an isolated incident of preferential treatment. However, Johnson said the department does not need to show that discrimination has taken place, but only that “the policy itself is improper.”

Johnson told the Caller that although such an investigation may take over a year, he believes Dhillon will find a pattern of preferential treatment. He also claimed Descano’s office has “scrubbed” its website of evidence of such policies.

A now-deleted paragraph from Descano’s campaign page said that his policies regarding declining to prosecute certain criminal illegal aliens are “equal justice” because “if two people commit the same crime, but only one’s punishment includes deportation, that’s a perversion of justice and not a reflection of the values of Fairfax County.”

“He’s not really covered it up very well; he’s made it quite obvious what’s going on,” Johnson said, adding that although the DOJ may be searching for discriminatory policies as listed in the notice, it may be able to shift the focus to instead address any concerning practices not previously mentioned.

The DOJ statement notes that similar investigations have led to negotiations and policy changes in the past, though Johnson said they have primarily been used against law enforcement agencies rather than prosecutors’ offices.

The DOJ has used similar pattern-or-practice investigations to pursue reforms in other agencies. In 2023, following an investigation launched after the death of Breonna Taylor, the department found the Louisville Metro Police Department had engaged in conduct violating the Constitution and federal law, leading to a court-enforceable consent decree. In 2012, DOJ similarly found failures at the Juvenile Court of Memphis and Shelby County and later worked with officials on reforms.

Similar remedies could be on the table in Fairfax, depending on the DOJ’s findings.

Descano is not alone. The House Judiciary Committee announced May 7 that the Arlington County Commonwealth’s attorney, Parisa Dehghani-Tafti, would also be investigated for allegedly refusing to cooperate with federal immigration officials and for allegedly prioritizing illegal and criminal aliens over American citizens.

Johnson told the Caller that other prosecutors’ offices in the country are operating under a similar playbook. He said any policy changes negotiated in Fairfax could serve as a deterrent for like-minded district attorneys going forward.

The Fairfax Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office did not respond to the Daily Caller’s request for comment.

The Islamic Republic of Torture, Rape, and Murder

Rape in prison is a cruel invasion of the helpless victim. In addition to its physical torment and transmission of sexual diseases, rape reduces the victim to a subhuman status—an object for the use of others to be discarded when no longer desired. Most civilized countries sternly guard against rapes and sexual assaults in prison, although with less than complete success.  Under the barbaric rule of the Mullahcracy in Iran, sexual assaults have become instruments of policy for extracting false confessions, satisfying the boundless sadisms and sexual perversities of the jailers, punishing the helpless victim, and leaving him with a sense of dehumanization.

This shockingly repugnant form of violating the human person, regrettably, has become widespread in the Islamic Republic of Iran’s prisons , particularly in dealing with the young men and women arrested for the “crime” of peacefully demonstrating in the streets to demand accountability from the government for a raft of violations it has committed and continues to commit.

For the past 45 years, the Islamic Republic has been denying and violating the long-suffering people of all their human rights. They are guilty of beating, torturing, raping, and killing prisoners of conscience—political, religious, intellectuals, artists, and others.

Women, chronically oppressed and disenfranchised from their basic human and family rights, have been the ones who have been most viciously treated by the Islamic system and its hired plainclothes and the Basij members. To maintain its suffocating rule, the regime metes out punishments reminiscent of the worst in the annals of human history. Amputation of hands and feet, blinding of eyes, hanging, and stoning the victim after the quick formality of a trial in kangaroo courts without legal representation is commonplace under the terror rule of the Islamists.

The Islamic Republic has been violating all norms of international human rights, including very harsh penalties for even “victimless crimes” such as fornication, beatings of Iranian citizens for expressing their views in public places, homosexuality, apostasy, and poor hijab (covering of the women).

The record of infamy of the Islamic Republic is replete with instances of child execution, restrictions on freedom of speech and the press, imprisonment of journalists, discrimination against women in general, persecution of religious minorities, with a particular systematic program of genocide against the Baha’is and the Baha’i religion. The regime has ruled over a peaceful people with an iron fist while committing the most heinous crimes against humanity.

After enduring more than three decades of the Islamic regime, the great majority of the Iranian people decided to cast their ballots in the hope of affecting change in the system. The Islamic government, completely accustomed to doing whatever it wished and ignoring the people, stole the election and declared the incumbent Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as the winner. The blatant violation of this basic right to vote and choose the official infuriated the long-suffering masses who poured into the streets by the millions, demanding their votes be honored. The response of the regime was beating the demonstrators, arresting many, and subjecting a great number to a raft of harsh treatments in prisons.

In a letter addressed to Mr. Rafsanjani in his capacity as head of the Assembly of Experts, Mr.  Karroubi, a former speaker of the Majlis (Parliament), demanded an immediate investigation into the reports that several detainees had been raped during the illegal incarceration.

Mr. Karroubi wrote, “Some of those arrested [as a result] of the unrest claim that detained girls have been sexually assaulted with… brutality.”

“The young men in detention were also sexually assaulted in such a way that some are now suffering from depression and other physical and psychological problems and are incapable of even leaving their homes,” he added. “Several detainees have stated that some female detainees were so severely raped that their genitals were damaged. Others savagely raped young boys so that they suffer from all sorts of depression and serious physical and mental damage,” Karroubi said in a letter.

Human Rights Watch also has documented cases of sexual assault in the Islamic Republic prisons on individuals arrested since the fraudulent June 12, 2009, presidential election. In the most recent case, the medical examiner’s office confirmed the injuries suffered in prison by Ebrahim Mehtari, a young activist, resulted from torture and mistreatment consistent with his allegations of sexual abuse. However, the Islamic Republic Judiciary authorities refused to conduct further inquiries. Instead, they threatened Mehtari and his family with severe repercussions if they ever opened their mouths regarding the sexual abuse.

Mr. Mehtari is living outside of Iran now. After he departed from Iran, the regime’s security forces raided his family’s house several times. They threatened his family members with punishments if their son ever talked about the abuses he had received.

Another young activist, 24-year-old Ebrahim Sharifi, is a very brave young man who was arrested on June 23 after the fraudulent presidential elections in Iran. He told the Human Rights Watch group that he had been raped in detention while he was handcuffed, blindfolded, and his feet were tied, and that he had attempted suicide several times after his release. He said that judiciary officials had refused to accept his complaint and told him that if he spoke out about his case, his family would be in danger.

The third case involved is Maryam Sabri, a beautiful 21-year-old girl who was arrested on July 30th during the commemoration of the 40th day after the killing of Neda Agha Sultan– whose shooting death during a demonstration shocked the entire world. Sabri was arrested after her photo appeared on a website connected to the IRGC that posted photos of protesters and asked people to identify the people in the pictures so that they could be arrested. Before she was released on August 12, Sabri says, she was raped four times by the jailers.

“On August 9, in a letter published in the Etemad Melli paper, the reformist presidential candidate Mehdi Karroubi wrote that some detained individuals stated that some authorities have raped detained women with such force, they have sustained injuries and tears into their reproductive system.”

In another high-profile case, a very pretty 19-year-old, Taraneh, was not shot with a single bullet to her chest, as was the case with Neda Agha Sultan. There were no bystanders in the dungeon with a cell phone to capture the prolonged torture, rape, and sodomy of this teenager.

According to reports, as well as testimony on the House floor from the honorable U.S. Congressman McCotter, on June 28, 2009, Taraneh Mousavi, a young Iranian woman, was literally scooped off the streets without any provocation on her part and with no arrest warrant. This young woman was taken to one of the regime’s torture chambers, where she was repeatedly brutalized, raped, and sodomized by Ahmadinejad’s agents and with the consent of the “supreme leader,” Ali Khamenei.

Near death from repeated beating, raping, and sodomizing, the fragile young woman, bleeding profusely from her rectum and womb, was transferred to a hospital in Karaj near Tehran. Eventually, an anonymous person notified Taraneh’s family that she had had an “accident” and had been taken to the hospital.

The devastated family rushed to the hospital only to find no trace of their beloved daughter because the foot soldiers of Allah’s “divine representative,” Ali Khamenei, decided to eliminate all traces of their savagery. These vile people decided to remove the dying woman from the hospital before the family’s arrival, burned her beyond recognition, and dumped her charred remains on the side of the road.

Like Neda, another young woman whose chest was ripped by the bullet of a murdering Basij member as she peacefully walked along with a throng of peaceful demonstrators, Taraneh’s tragedy gives a glimpse of the true face of Islamic fascism and its brutality. The Taranehs and Nedas of Iran shall remain as eternal testaments to the depravity of the 7th-century primitive system and the horrors it has visited on innocent people. And these young victims of the IRI tyranny are by no means isolated cases. Tragically, women as a gender bear the brunt of Islamic misogyny. Women are systematically exploited, maltreated, and disenfranchised from their God-given rights.

A regime that subjects its own people to boundless viciousness is showing the world its willingness to commit any crime to intimidate others and to undertake any action that would keep it in power. The Islamic Republic of Iran represents devastation and death if not immediately disempowered by all people and nations that value Universal Human Rights for all. It is timely to bring to mind the warning of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. The Islamic Republic of Iran is indeed a miscarriage of justice, a cruel, repressive rule, and an imminent threat not only to Iranians but to the world at large.

Trump Announces Female National Guardsmen Shot In D.C. Has Died

President Donald Trump announced that one of the two West Virginia National Guardsmen who was shot Wednesday in Washington, D.C., succumbed to her wounds Thursday.

West Virginia National Guard Specialist Sarah Beckstrom and West Virginia Air National Guard Andrew Wolfe were allegedly attacked at the Farragut West Metro Station in Washington, D.C., roughly a mile from the White House by Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan national who entered the United States in September 2021 after the American withdrawal from Afghanistan. Beckstrom’s wounds were described as fatal on Thursday, according to The New York Times, as confirmed by her father before her passing.

“Sarah Beckstrom of West Virginia, one of the guardsmen that we’re talking about, highly respected, young, magnificent person, started service in June of 2023 outstanding in every way. She’s just passed away,” Trump said as he was about to call servicemembers for Thanksgiving.

Both National Guardsmen were in critical condition since the Wednesday shooting. Beckstrom’s father told the Times he was at the hospital with her.

“I’m holding her hand right now,” Gary Beckstrom said. “She has a mortal wound. It’s not going to be a recovery.”

“All we need right now are prayers for my son,” a man at Wolfe’s Martinsburg, West Virginia, family home said when contacted by the Times Thursday.

Beckstrom’s death means that Lakanwal, currently facing three counts of assault with intent to kill, will now face “murder in the first degree,” something U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro of the District of Columbia vowed would be the case if either Bergstrom or Wolfe died from their wounds during a Thanksgiving Day press conference.

“As we stand here today, the charges that are appropriate right now are three accounts of assault with intent to kill. He will be charged with possession of a firearm during a crime of violence. He faces 15 years under the assault with the intent to kill,” Pirro told reporters. “We intend to continue monitoring what the charges will be depending upon the well-being of the guardsmen. We are praying that they survive and that the highest charge will not have to be murder in the first degree. But make no mistake, if they do not, that will certainly be the charge: Murder in the first degree.”

Journalist Julio Rojas allegedly reported Lakanwal shouted “Allahu akbar!” before opening fire on the National Guardsmen with a Smith and Wesson revolver. Upon coming under attack, one National Guardsman who didn’t have a firearm stabbed Lakanwal with a pocketknife, while an armed National Guardsman shot the suspected gunman multiple times, according to Rojas.

The FBI Cover-Up of the Trump Assassination Begins?

On X, the FBI states it is assuming the “role of lead federal law enforcement agency in the investigation of the incident involving former President Donald Trump”.

In an updated FBI statement on the ongoing incident that took place yesterday in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Incident” … not an attempted assassination of President Donald J. Trump and the murder of a Trump supporter and the wounding of two other MAGA rally attendees who are in “serious condition!”

In another post on the FBI’s X site is this unconfirmed statement, “My name is Jonathan Willis, I’m the officer in the famous photo of the two snipers at Trump’s rally. I came here to inform the public that I had the assassin in my sites for at least 3 minutes, but the head of the secret service refused to give the order to take out the perp. 100% of the top brass prevented me from killing the assassin before he took the shots at president Trump.”

Fox News’ Julia Johnson reported,

A months-long fight between former President Trump’s campaign and the Secret Service under President Biden’s administration is back in the spotlight as the Republican National Convention approaches on the heels of an assassination attempt on Trump.

“My staff and I are in contact with those coordinating security planning for the RNC and will continue to be in close communication as we learn more about this situation,” Gov. Tony Evers, D-Wis., wrote on X.

Trump was injured in an assassination attempt during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night but was treated at a local hospital and is OK. After shots were fired at the event, Trump was seen with blood on his face and being escorted off-stage by Secret Service agents…

Saturday’s violence broke out against a backdrop of a government already inundated by threats for members of Congress, judges and other officials.

The shooting at Donald Trump’s Pennsylvania rally is the latest horrifying proof of the increase in violence and threats that has gripped America’s contemporary political discourse.

The country, already seething and polarized, appears to be bracing for recriminations, even as details about the shooting were only beginning to emerge.

Though it appears to be the first attempted shooting of a U.S. president — current or former — since Ronald Reagan survived a gunshot in 1981, Trump’s name is now atop a harrowing list of prominent leaders marked for violence in recent years.

“Political violence is terrifying. I know,” former Rep. Political violence is un-American and is never acceptable — never.” …

The BBC reported, “The FBI has named the man who shot at Donald Trump during a campaign rally as Thomas Matthew Crooks. Crooks is alleged to have opened fire while the former US president was addressing a crowd in Butler, Pennsylvania, leaving one audience member dead and two others badly hurt. The 20-year-old kitchen worker was shot dead at the scene by a Secret Service sniper, officials said. In a statement, the FBI said Crooks was the “subject involved” in the assassination attempt on the former president and that an active investigation was under way.

Let’s see if the FBI actually does its sworn duty and confirms that what happened in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024 is truly an assassination attempt, a murder and two attempted murders of Trump supporters, or not.

Why Democrats Want to Forget George Floyd

The Democrats set fire to America in the run up to the 2020 Presidential election.

The riots, murder and violence served its propose.

Now they want to pretend it never happened.

Why progressives want to forget George Floyd

BLM revolutionaries squandered their opportunity

By: , Unherd, May 24, 2024;

….while reading Morning After the Revolution, the new book by journalist Nellie Bowles. Described as “a moment of collective psychosis preserved in amber”, it is a look back at the social justice movement which had been simmering under the surface of American society since roughly 2014, then exploded into a reckoning four years ago tomorrow, when George Floyd was murdered by police in Minneapolis. The book is, among other things, a historical record — one that the movement in question would definitely not choose to permanently inscribe on its skin. The fact that Bowles used to be a New York Times writer and card-carrying member of the woke crowd herself makes her account at once more credible to the reader and less convenient to its subjects.

If the summer of 2020 was a party that eventually devolved into a chaotic rager, Morning After the Revolution is the album of unflattering photos taken by a guest who left before the police showed up. Look: there’s the moment from the pandemic where Donald Trump said he wanted schools to reopen, so we shut them down until 2023. There’s the time a male spa-goer displayed an erect penis in front of a 14-year-old girl, and media commentators hurried to dismiss the entire thing as a Right-wing hoax. There’s the one where we started recreationally destroying the lives of random white women who looked a little too much like manager-callers; there’s the $3,000 anti-racist dinner party and the “Defund the Police” banner!

The revolutionaries are in this picture, and they don’t like it. Even as early as 2022, there were signs that people were happy to forget the movement once the marching-shouting-posting action was over; when reporters discovered that the $90 million raised by Black Lives Matter had been squandered on, among other things, a party house in Los Angeles, the response was a studied incuriosity. But even then, it’s hard to exaggerate how much this attempt to defund, dismantle and drastically remake every institution in service of social justice has been… well, not-that. Four years after his death became the spark that lit the flame of revolution, George Floyd’s lingering impact can mainly be seen in the hastily-installed DEI programmes in corporate offices nationwide, where hourly wage workers sit through interminable sensitivity trainings — and where the main beneficiaries are 28-year-old college-educated white women from HR, who now receive six-figure salaries to lecture their coworkers on the importance of daily pronoun exchanges and the scourge of microaggressions.

Meanwhile, in Minneapolis, the vacant gas station parking lot that was the site of Floyd’s death, and which used to be flooded with so many protestors that it had to be closed to traffic, is now deserted save for the occasional social justice tourist. They come to photograph the murals, the graffiti, the tattered plastic flowers around the perimeter of a former bus shelter, where a high-contrast portrait of Floyd’s now-familiar face has been painted on a piece of plastic sheeting — but there’s little to keep them there. The city has promised a plan to redevelop the memorial site, although it’s more like a plan to have a plan; the neighbourhood remains blighted by crime and vandalism, partially owing to lack of police presence. The third precinct police station in the neighbourhood remains permanently closed after being burned by rioters in 2020.

As for the anniversary of Floyd’s death, it has quickly faded from a national event to an afterthought; this year, the George Floyd Global Memorial will be hosting a “Self-Care Fair”, including “free wellness services including bodywork, meditation, arts and crafts”. The arc of the social justice universe is long, but it bends toward free massages and macaroni art……

‘My Husband Died A Hero, But He Always Lived As One’: NYPD Officer’s Widow Delivers Eulogy As Thousands Attend Funeral

Stephanie Diller, the widow of a New York City Police Department (NYPD) officer who was murdered, delivered a eulogy Saturday as thousands of people attended the funeral.

NYPD officer Jonathan Diller was allegedly shot dead Monday by Guy Rivera during a traffic stop in Queens. Diller’s widow remembered him fondly among a large audience, saying he was a “fierce protector” who was her “absolute greatest confidant.”

“Thank you all for the support this week,” Stephanie Diller began. “The outpouring of love our family has received has been overwhelming, and we’re forever thankful to everyone.”

“With every hug that I’ve received, I just picture each one is from Jonathan. I wish Jonathan were here to see the incredible kindness and generosity that has been shown to our family, but I know in his own way, he is here watching over us,” she continued. “I am so proud that thousands of people across the country are calling Jonathan a hero, but the truth is, he has always been a hero to Ryan and me. The rest of the world is just catching up.”

Stephanie Diller said she also wanted to “honor Jonathan for who he was out of the uniform” after emphasizing that he was “beyond proud” to be part of the NYPD. Diller’s widow described her deceased husband as a “connector” and a “friend to everyone.” She called his death “devasting” and “senseless,” according to the New York Post.

“My husband died a hero, but he always lived as one,” Stephanie Diller said, according to the outlet.

Rivera was charged with murder of a police office, attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon Thursday, the outlet noted, the same day former President Donald Trump attended the slain NYPD officer’s wake.

U.N.R.W.A. Staff Recordings Prove Hamas Treated Young Women ‘Like Animals’

‘Sabaya’ is a term in Islam that describes women and children as the property of a Muslim man. It also means slave and handmaiden.

The most difficult use of ‘Sabaya’ was by ISIS terrorists, who called the captured Yazidi women this.

The Qur’an allows men to have sexual access to “what their right hands possess,” meaning female captives or slaves (Q. 23.5-6; 70.29-30).

IDF spokesperson: UNRWA staff recordings prove Hamas treated young women ‘like animals’

By Emanuel Fabian, Times of Israel, 4 March 2024:

IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari in an evening press conference says that despite the “difficult content,” the military chose to release the audio recordings of UNRWA staff who participated in the October 7 onslaught, to “remind and not forget.”

“The massacre committed by Hamas on October 7 is the most documented massacre in history. Hamas terrorists filmed their own cruelty. As time goes by, more and more testimonies are revealed, more intelligence every day,” he says.

“You can hear how the terrorists entered Israeli territory, participated in the massacre, and terror, and captured ‘sabaya.’”

He explains that in one of the recordings, a Hamas terrorist, who worked as a teacher at a UNRWA school in Deir al-Balah, tells his friend that he captured a sabaya, a term used by Islamic State jihadists that means sex slave.

“Sabaya” is a term in Islam that describes women and children as the property of a Muslim man. It also means slave and handmaiden. The most difficult use of “sabaya” was by ISIS terrorists, who called the captured Yazidi women this, Hagari says.

“In the conversation, the terrorist on the other side of the line describes a woman as a noble mare,” he says.

“On October 7, Hamas treated young women with cruelty and brutality, kidnapped them from their homes, and treated them like animals,” Hagari continues.

“How they refer to the hostages as ‘sabaya’ and a ‘noble mare’ keeps us awake at night, and requires the world to shout, as it did for the Yazidi women,” he says.

Hagari adds that, via the testimonies from hostages who were released from Gaza, “we learn about the dangers the hostages are exposed to, especially the women and children.”

Hamas on October 7th: The Teachings of Islam on Display — Part 1

On October 7, 2023, at about 6:30 AM, Hamas jihadists attacked Israel.  These jihadists killed people attending an open-air music festival and people who lived in the Israeli communities close to the border.

By the time the Israeli military regained control of the affected areas in southern Israel, more than a thousand people – mostly civilians – had been killed, hundreds of houses looted and burned, and more than 230 men, women, and children taken hostage.[1]

The Hamas jihadists also displayed a callous savagery toward the people they engaged.  Among the atrocities committed by these Hamas jihadists were:

  • Beheadings
  • Burning People Alive
  • Killing Non-Combatants/Disbelievers
  • Killing Women and Children
  • Mutilations
  • Rape of Non-Muslim Women
  • Torture

There has been a great amount of outrage expressed about these atrocities.  However, there has also been a large amount of support expressed for the Hamas jihadists.  This support is found largely on college campuses and among Muslim populations.

Unfortunately, such support among Muslim populations should not be surprising.  The Hamas jihadists were following the commands of Allah found in the Koran and the teachings and example of Muhammad, Islam’s Perfect Man and a timeless example that Muslims are expected to follow if they want Allah to admit them into Paradise (see Koran Chapter 33, Verse 21).

The jihadists’ attitude toward the Jews were formed by teachings of Islam such as these:

Koran Chapter 5, Verse 51:  O you who believe!  Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya’ (friends, protectors, helpers), they are but Auliya’ of each other.

Koran Chapter 5, Verse 82:  Verily, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the Jews and those who are Al-Mushrikun,

Koran Chapter 9, Verse 30:  And the Jews say: ‘Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allah.  That is their saying with their mouths, resembling the saying of those who disbelieved aforetime.  Allah’s curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth!

It was narrated from ‘Amr bin Shu’aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah ruled that the blood money for the People of the Book is half of that of the blood money for the Muslims, and they are the Jews and Christians.[2]

Narrated Abu Hurairah: Allah’s Messenger said, “The Hour will not be established until you fight against the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say, ‘O Muslim!  There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.’”[3]

And why were the Hamas jihadists following Allah and Muhammad?  Because the Koran commands them to do so, for example:

Chapter 33, Verse 36:  It is not for a believer [Muslim], man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger, have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision.  And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a plain error.

Chapter 59, Verse 7:  …And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it).  And fear Allah; verily, Allah is Severe in punishment.

Chapter 4, Verse 115:  And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger (Muhammad) after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers’ way, We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell – what an evil destination!

Each of the atrocities listed above is supported by the commands of Allah found in the Koran and/or the teachings and example of Muhammad.  Let’s examine each atrocity.

Rape of Non-Muslim Women

Islam allows the rape of non-Muslim women.  A non-Muslim woman captured by Muslims during a battle falls under the category of those “whom your right hands possess.”  She then becomes a slave to her Muslim captor and it becomes “legal” for him to have intercourse with her.  This is authorized by Koran 4:24, which begins by talking about how Muslim men are forbidden from marrying (and having sex with) women who are already married, but then makes an important exception:

…except those (slaves) whom your right hands possess.  Thus has Allah ordained for you…

The Muslim scholar Ibn Kathir explained the meaning of this verse:

The Ayah [verse] means, you are prohibited from marrying women who are already married, (except those whom your right hands possess) except those whom you acquire through war, for you are allowed such women after making sure they are not pregnant.  Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri said, “We captured some women from the area of Awtas who were already married, and we disliked having sexual relations with them because they already had husbands.  So, we asked the Prophet about this matter, and this Ayah was revealed…Consequently we had sexual relations with these women.”[4]

So instead of Muhammad prohibiting his Muslim warriors from raping the women they had captured in the area of Awtas, Koran 4:24 was “revealed” to him giving his Muslim warriors Allah’s authorization to also actually go ahead and rape them.

Muhammad’s attitude about how captured non-Muslim women could be treated was shown again in another eye-opening example in which Muhammad condoned the rape of female captives from the non-Muslim Mustaliq tribe.

In this story about the Mustaliq tribe we shall see that the only problem to be resolved was whether or not the ransom the Muslims were expecting for these particular female captives would be affected if those captives were returned pregnant.  In response to the question from his Muslim warriors about whether they should therefore engage in coitus interruptus with their soon-to-be rape victims, Muhammad, instead of prohibiting the rapes, merely said that coitus interruptus would not matter because every soul that was destined to be born would be born:

Abu Sirma said to Abu Sa’id Al Khudri (Allah he pleased with him): O Abu Sa’id, did you hear Allah’s Messenger (SAW) mentioning al-‘azl [coitus interruptus]? He said: Yes, and added: We went out with Allah’s Messenger (SAW) on the expedition to the Bi’l-Mustaliq.  We took captive some excellent Arab women.  We desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing ‘azl…But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah’s Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah’s Messenger (SAW), and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born.[5]

So Muhammad gave his approval to the rape of these “excellent Arab women.”  It is an interesting side note that coitus interruptus was one of the “ten characteristics” that Muhammad disliked.[6]

It should therefore come as no surprise that the founders of the four major Sunni schools of Islamic Sacred Law agreed that

…when a married woman becomes a prisoner of war without her husband, her contract of marriage with her husband ends, and her new master has the right to have sexual relations with her after the birth of a child if she is pregnant, or after waiting a while to confirm the status of her womb if she is not apparently pregnant.[7]

Has there been any change in the understanding of this verse over the centuries?  The answer is “No.”  The 20th century Koran commentary Tafsir Ahsanul-Bayan explained Koran 4:24 this way:

The historical background of the verse is that when pagan women were captured by Muslims in battles, they disliked having intercourse with them because they had husbands.  The Companions asked the Messenger of Allah about it.  Thereupon, this verse was revealed.  The verse allowed the Muslims to have intercourse with pagan women if they were captured in battles even if they had husbands, providing their wombs have been cleansed, that is, after one menses or, in case they are pregnant, after the delivery of the child.[8]

Although it is claimed that the Muslim warrior is not allowed to rape his captive until he has waited to make sure that she is not pregnant, as we saw above this was ignored even in Muhammad’s time.  Here are additional examples of Muhammad handing out newly captured non-Muslim women to his Muslim warriors:

  1. After the defeat of the Jewish Banu Qurayzah tribe, Muhammad divided up that tribe’s “property, wives, and children” among the Muslims, with the exception of some of the women that he sent to Najd and to Syria to be sold for horses and weapons.[9]
  2. After the defeat of the Jews at Khaybar, Muhammad had the women of Khaybar “distributed among the Muslims.”[10]
  3. After the non-Muslim Hawazin tribe was defeated, Muhammad gave Ali, ‘Umar, and ‘Uthman (all later “Rightly Guided” Caliphs) each a woman from among those captured.  ‘Umar then gave his to his son.[11]  Muhammad gave other “slave girls” to some of his Muslim warriors, who, along with ‘Uthman, then had “intercourse” with their slaves.  It was reported that ‘Uthman’s slave-girl “detested him” after the “intercourse.”[12]

So we can see that the commands of Allah in the Koran and the teachings and example of Muhammad fully support the raping of non-Muslim women by the HAMAS jihadists.

Ibn Salih Al-Uthaymin, a 20th century Muslim scholar, summed it up well:

But if the dividing (of the Ghanimah) [spoils of war] takes place, and the woman from them ends up as a slave woman, then she becomes property of the right hand.  The person can have intercourse with her as a right hand possession, which is permissible and there is nothing wrong with this.[13]

On October 7th Hamas jihadists were committed to following those commands of Allah and those teachings and example of Muhammad.

Haim Outmezgine, commander of a special unit of Zaka, which collects the remains of the dead, told The Sunday Times it was clear Hamas terrorists aimed to sexually assault women.

“We collected 1,000 bodies in ten days from the festival site and kibbutzim,” he said.

“No one saw more than us. It was clear they were trying to spread as much horror as they could — to kill, to burn alive, to rape … it seemed their mission was to rape as many as possible.”[14]

Israeli officials pointed to a Hamas pamphlet discovered on Nov. 2 that gives detailed instructions about how to pronounce phrases in Hebrew including “raise your hands and open your legs” and “take off your pants.”

During interrogations, captured Hamas militants talked about raping women and children as a Hamas tactic of war. “To have our way with them, to dirty them, to rape them,” said one Hamas militant during a videotaped interrogation.[15]

Killing Women and Children

It is commonly claimed that Muhammad had issued a general prohibition against the killing of women and children, and that this was established Islamic Doctrine.  There are two popular hadiths that are often used to support this claim:

It has been reported from Sulaiman b. Buraid through his father that when the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) appointed anyone as leader of an army or detachment he would especially exhort him to fear Allah and to be good to the Muslims who were with him.  He would say: Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah.  Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah.  Make a holy war… do not kill the children.[16]

And

Ibn ‘Umar narrated that a woman was found killed in one of the expeditions of the Messenger of Allah, so the Messenger of Allah rebuked that, and he prohibited killing women and children.[17]

So according to the first hadith, whenever Muhammad appointed anyone to lead a Muslim army or detachment, he would issue an order that children were not to be killed.  And the second hadith states that Muhammad prohibited the general killing of women and children.

However, Muhammad never issued such sweeping prohibitions.

For example, when it came to women criticizing him, Muhammad had no problem with such women being killed:

  1. “Ibn ‘Abbas told us that a blind man had a female slave…who reviled the Prophet and disparaged him, and he told her not to do that, but she did not stop…One night she started to disparage and revile the Prophet, so he took a dagger and put it in her stomach and pressed on it and killed her…The next morning mention of that was made to the Prophet and he assembled the people and said: ‘By Allah, I adjure the man who did this, to stand up.’ The blind man stood up…and he came and sat before the Prophet.  He said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, I am the one who did it.  She used to revile you and disparage you, and I told her not to do it, but she did not stop…Last night she started to revile you and disparage you, and I took a dagger and placed it on her stomach and I pressed on it until I killed her.’  The Prophet said: ‘Bear witness that no retaliation is due for her blood.’”[18]
  2. It was narrated from ‘Ali that a Jewish woman used to revile and disparage the Prophet. A man strangled her until she died, and the Messenger of Allah declared that no recompense was payable for her blood.[19]

And when the actions of Muhammad are examined chronologically, one finds that instead of it being a general, all-encompassing prohibition issued by Muhammad, and therefore an established part of Islamic doctrine, the prohibition against the killing of women and children was a specific, situational prohibition based on Muhammad’s judgment at the time.  At other times he actually advocated for or allowed the killing of women and children.

For the details about this, see my article “Muhammad and the Killing of Women and Children.”[20]

In Part 2 we will examine more of the atrocities committed by the HAMAS jihadists.

‘It’s “Me Too” Unless You Are a Jew’: Why Won’t Women’s Groups Condemn Hamas’s Rapes?

Why won’t so-called “women’s groups” condemn Hamas terrorists for raping Israeli women on October 7? This is what a growing number of people are asking, including Former Miss World and Miss Israel 1998, Linor Abargil, who gave a very moving and emotional speech before the United Nations on December 4.

Abargil appeared on Fox News’s “America’s Newsroom” on Thursday. She said, “It’s ‘Me Too’ unless you are a Jew.” She observed, “It’s not about political, it’s not about ‘Free Palestine, it’s not about which side you’re on on the map: to use rape as an act of war is unbearable. I mean, what happened to humanity?” She then became very emotional and had to take a moment to compose herself before she shared:

“One of my friends… told me a story about this young woman — that he saw a video of her — she was raped by three Hamas people, one after another raped her. . .Screaming they beat her, spit at her, they then butchered her, and one of them took her cell phone and just send everything to her mother. Her scream just haunts my friend every night he’s tried to sleep. And her screaming should be out there for all the world to shout out for this girl that is not here to shout herself. But instead, all of the organizations are just silent. …I mean, I’m telling you, I’m just speechless.”

In the second hour of Thursday’s program, Dana Perino interviewed Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) who also called out the women’s groups that are usually her political allies. They include Emily’s List, Democratic Women’s Caucus, Women’s March, I Stand With Her, and American Association of University Women.

Gillibrand said, “When I saw the list at the U.N., I couldn’t believe it. I was so aghast, I was so furious. I don’t understand how we cannot have solidarity amongst all women in the United States and globally — that using rape as a weapon of war is unacceptable. It has to be condemned. The fact that the U.N. has not called Hamas a terrorist organization and condemn[ed] the horrific violence on October 7 is unacceptable. And they’re not even enforcing international law.”

She went on to say, “I think women’s rights groups in the United States should care deeply about women around the globe and should not turn a blind eye. They should not keep their head in the sand. They have a moral responsibility to have moral clarity…”

Perino asked Gillibrand if she watched the video of the October 7 massacre that the Israeli government provided for Congress to watch. She responded, “I did. It’s unspeakable. The horrific acts that were committed in the most heinous and evil ways you can imagine: beheadings, dismemberments, mass rapes, shooting of babies and children. It’s something that should never, ever happen. And it has to be called out not only by the U.N. but by the world community. … They did not show us the victims of rape, and they did not show us the videos of rapes happening because they thought it was too horrific for Congress to see, but we should see it. And these films and these photographs should be made public because the world has to condemn this…”

Abargil’s and Gillibrand’s emotional pleas stand in stark contrast to the cold words of Congressional Progressive Caucus Chairwoman Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday, December 3. When CNN host, Dana Bash, asked her why women’s groups are “downright silent” about Hamas raping and mutilating Jewish women on October 7, Jayapal shockingly downplayed Hamas’s evil acts, continually trying to compare those acts to Israel’s justifiable right to defend itself.

Bash said, “With respect, I was just trying to talk about the women, and you turned it back to Israel. I’m asking you about Hamas…”

Jayapal interrupted, “I already answered your question, Dana, I said it’s horrific. I think that rape is horrific — sexual assault is horrific. I think it’s horrific. I think that it happens in war situations. Terrorist organizations like Hamas obviously are using these as tools. However, I think we have to be balanced about bringing in the outrages against Palestinians…”

Bash pointed out, “And it’s horrible, but you don’t see Israeli soldiers raping Palestinian women.” To which Jayapal responded, “Well, Dana, I don’t want this to be the hierarchy of oppressions…”

Although U.N. Women finally condemned Hamas on December 1 (almost two months after the October 7 attack), Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is still pleading with groups such as the United Nation’s own World Health Organization and women’s groups around the world to be vocal advocates for the many Israeli women and girls that were raped on October 7 (and for the hostages that likely continue to be abused). He said, “I heard heartbreaking stories of abuse. I heard, as you have heard, about sexual abuse and unprecedented cases of cruel rape.”

He then asked, “Did you remain silent because it was Jewish women? … I say to the women’s rights organizations, to the human rights organizations, you’ve heard of the rape of Israeli women, horrible atrocities, sexual mutilation? Where the hell are you? I expect all civilized leaders, governments, nations to speak up against this atrocity.”

Family Research Council’s Senior Fellow for Education Studies, Meg Kilgannon, is not surprised by women’s groups’ lack of attention to this horrific issue. She told The Washington Stand, “National women’s groups have been part and parcel of the Democratic Party for years. For women who pay attention, we know that these groups will never represent our values or the real interests of women. The example of excusing depraved behaviors of terrorists is just another of many ways the leaders of women’s groups serve the interest of progressive and authoritarian men.”

FRC’s Director of the Center for Human Dignity, Mary Szoch, agreed and added, “The terroristic actions of Hamas are pure evil and should be denounced by everyone — especially those claiming to speak for women. Failure to speak out against members of Hamas raping Jewish women is inexcusable.”

Israeli Doctor Treating Released Hostages Suffering From ‘Unprecedented Level of Extremely Severe Abuse, We Have to Rewrite the Textbooks of Post-Trauma’

How does one see unimaginable depravity up close and not be forever marred by it?

Pediatrician treating freed hostages: Reports of their good condition are misleading

Dr. Yael Mozer-Glassberg provides new details about physical and psychological states of 19 children and seven women brought to Schneider Children’s Medical Center

By Renee Ghert-Zand, Times of Israel, 4 December 2023:

Dr. Yael Mozer-Glassberg, director of Israel’s pediatric liver transplantation service at Schneider Children’s Medical Center, has seen some difficult things in her 25-year career. However, nothing in her experience prepared her for treating Israeli hostages freed from Gaza after nearly two months in captivity.

“From the medical point of view, this was a terrible event. Reports that everyone is giving that the returnees are in more or less stable condition are not true,” Mozer-Glassberg.

Without breaching privacy about the conditions and experiences of specific hostages, she divulged in an online press conference Monday some new details.

Mozer-Glassberg is part of a team of six female physicians, as well as nutritionists, psychologists, and social workers who have attended to the 19 children, and seven women who were brought to Schneider after being released from Hamas captivity in a deal brokered by Qatar and Egypt with American backing.

On October 7, Hamas breached the border with Israel and attacked more than 20 towns, kibbutzim, and IDF bases. The onslaught resulted in terrorists murdering more than 1,200 people and taking some 240 hostage to Gaza.

Like dedicated teams at several other Israeli hospitals, Mozer-Glassberg and her colleagues began preparing as early as October 8 to provide initial treatment to returnees, using protocols created by the Health Ministry and the Welfare Ministry.

Mozer-Glassberg confirmed that the hostages Schneider received had lost 10-15 percent of their body weight. The statistic was similar to one shared by Prof. Itai Pessach at Lily Safra Children’s Hospital at Sheba Medical Center, where other freed hostages were brought.

“The hostages shared with us stories about how limited the food they were given was. If they were given food at all, it was sometimes only a cup of tea and a biscuit or a single dried date in the morning and rice in the evening,” Mozer-Glassberg recounted.

In cases where siblings were alone without their parents, the older sibling would not eat until the younger one did. For all the hostages, access to drinking water was limited.

“The captors would inflict psychological terrorism on them by forcing them to eat everything given to them after their stomachs had shrunk and hunger pains diminished after having eaten nearly nothing for days,” Mozer-Glassberg said.

As a result of deprivation in Gaza, some hostages exhibited unexpected eating habits when reintroduced to proper nutrition at the hospital. The staff had been primed to prevent the undernourished returnees from overeating and succumbing to the dangerous Refeeding Syndrome. But instead, they ate very little of the wide variety of foods offered, some of them only consuming crumbs they pulled from pieces of bread.

“It wasn’t like what we prepared for,” Mozer-Glassberg said.

The doctor reported that with access to water so limited in captivity, the hostages cleaned themselves only a few times during their 50-plus days in Gaza. Some did not bathe at all.

“They returned with extremely deficient hygiene. I have never seen hygiene this bad,” Mozer-Glassberg said. “Their head lice was the worst I have ever seen. Even with five or six treatments, the lice were not gone.”

4 things you were supposed to forget about ‘Trans Day of Remembrance’

For a third year in a row, the Biden Administration has laid it on thick in marking November 20 as ‘Transgender Day of Remembrance’ (TDoR).

“Today, on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we grieve the 26 transgender Americans who were killed this year,” Biden’s Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced in a video that quickly went viral last week.

In a press statement on the same day, Secretary of State Antony Blinken described the event as “a day to commemorate the transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming persons who are targeted and killed for living authentically and courageously”.

“Trans individuals are a part of every country, every culture, and every faith tradition,” Blinken claimed, adding, “we will continue to speak loudly and clearly to end transphobic violence and homicide”.

In his own statement, President Biden declared, “We must never be silent in the face of hate,” while mourning “the loss of transgender Americans taken too soon this year”.

In recent times, Mercator has taken considerable interest in TDoR, in particular noting the exaggerated claims regularly made about a supposed transgender murder epidemic.

While what follows provides further critique of such tall trans tales, the words of Mercator editor Michael Cook bear repeating, who in another piece on the same topic has affirmed:

“All trans murders are tragedies. All of the victims are someone’s son or daughter. They all had friends who loved them. They all had inalienable rights and deserved to be treated with respect.”

Well said.

Even so, the Biden admin’s rhetorical sleights of hand must be named for what they are. Alleging that all of the transgender-identifying people being mourned by the White House were targeted due to their sexual identity — due to ‘transphobia’ — requires more than mere words: it demands proof.

Moreover, to commemorate a day for so fractionally small a cohort of Americans is to let the ideological cat out of the bag. Only for causes that come in rainbow colours would the deaths of 0.000008% of Americans warrant so much pomp and circumstance from the Biden Woke House.

As one popular X account quipped, “When is the Victims Of Falling Vending Machines Day Of Remembrance?”

So, to mark TDoR this year, consider four things the woke establishment hoped you’d forget this Transgender Day of Remembrance.

One. ‘Transgender Day of Remembrance’ is one of approximately 150 LGBT-themed days of the year that are now marked for commemoration. Conservative commentator Robby Starbuck provided a comprehensive list, noting these days now represent about 41 percent of the year.

Pray tell, what is the point of another “day of remembrance” when there are barely any days left on which one could possibly forget the ubiquitous rainbow cult?

Two. Every death is tragic. But unless I am missing something, it appears to be remarkably safe to be a transgender American.

According to the CDC, the overall homicide rate in the United States is 7.8 people per 100,000 population. By comparison, 26 transgender persons killed out of a population of 1.6 million transgender-identifying Americans yields a homicide rate of only 1.6 homicides per 100,000.

Thus, it appears to be five times safer to be transgender in the United States today.

Put another way, for the transgender homicide rate to come anywhere near the overall US homicide rate, we would have expected not 26 transgender homicides this year but 126. Where are the 100 missing transgender homicides? If they exist, we can be certain the Biden White House would have told us all about them. Shy of that, we can only conclude they did not happen — and therefore that transgender Americans are a uniquely safe identity group.

Three. Secretary Blinken claimed that transgender people are being killed for “living authentically and courageously”. However, 1 of the 26 people referenced by Karine Jean-Pierre — DéVonnie J’Rae Johnson — was actually killed after confronting a security guard with a fire extinguisher and then a screwdriver, according to LGBT online rag The AdvocateAuthentic and courageous?

Indeed, a closer look at the news stories about the violent deaths of transgender-identifying Americans reveals an alarming picture.

In 2022, Ray Muscat of Michigan was shot by his partner who was also transgender. Not long after, Kitty Monroe of Memphis was also killed during a domestic dispute with his partner. In November of the same year, Maddie Hofmann of Pennsylvania was shot and killed after aiming a gun at a police officer. The following month, Caelee Love-Light of Dallas was shot and killed by a disabled person whom he had first stabbed.

During 2023, at least three of the violent transgender deaths that made the news involved similar altercations — whether an argument over a payment for a sex acta dispute over suspected HIV infection by a sexual partner, or a during a fight that broke out at a party.

To underscore the point made earlier, each of these deaths are tragic. But they hardly count as evidence of transgender people being targeted and killed for being transgender, or for “living authentically and courageously”.

Four. The fake news media is ever eager to highlight a person’s transgender identity if they fall victim to a crime, but wilfully neglect to mention it when they perpetrate one.

Examples of this include the mass shootings carried out by a non-binary shooter in Colorado Springs, a transgender shooter in Denver, another transgender shooter in Maryland, and a cross-dressing shooter in Philadelphia.

And who can forget the Nashville transgender shooter, whose woke manifesto was buried by the authorities for months and only saw the light of day after a whistleblower leaked it to the media?

The point is not that most violent transgender deaths are somehow deserved, or that the majority of mass shootings are carried out by transgender individuals. It is not even necessarily the case that transgender ideology or transgender lifestyles are inherently more prone to violence — though others are welcome to mount that argument.

The point is this: there is no transgender murder epidemic, and transgender people who commit violence do not deserve special protection from criticism because of their transgenderism.

If anything, Transgender Day of Remembrance reveals that kowtowing to a particular ideology does more to befuddle and obfuscate than actually shed light on the serious scourge of violence and homicide in America.

How about just the plain old truth instead?

The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) released an interrogation video on Wednesday of a captured Hamas terrorist, who participated in the Oct. 7 massacre in Kfar Aza, a kibbutz in southern Israel.

“The mission was simply to kill. We weren’t supposed to kidnap, just kill,” Hamas operative Omar Sami Marzuk Abu Rusha told Shin Bet agents. “To kill every person we see and come back.”

Asked if he was told to murder women and children as well, Abu Rusha said: “Yes.”

“They told us that all the settlers were soldiers. There were soldiers among them. Kill every single one you see,” he said.

A Hamas terrorist who took part in the Kfar Aza massacre on October 7 in his interrogation: “Our mission was to kill everyone we saw, and then to come back.”

In the six-minute interrogation tape, the terrorist calmly describes murdering young children hiding in a safe room.

“We heard sounds of young children,” he said. “The cries of young children. A young child, something like that.”

“I shot and Abu Kamil shot. We shot at the door,” he added. “Until we didn’t hear noise anymore.”

The Shin Bet agent asked him what the difference was between him, given he had an order to kill from Hamas’s Nukhba commando forces and ISIS.

“In the things the interrogator showed me, there is no difference, in the things I was shown,” Abu Rusha admitted. “I saw videos worse than ISIS. The ones the interrogator showed me.”

Iran: Christian activist forced to strip, says Islamic regime uses sexual violence against female protestors

The idea is to humiliate and degrade them, and by raping them, to deny them a place in paradise, for in Islam it is entirely the woman’s responsibility to prevent a man from being tempted (hence the hijab, chador, niqab, burqa), and if he is tempted anyway, it’s her fault.

Exclusive: ‘Was forced to strip, govt uses sexual violence against female protesters,’ says Iranian Christian activist

by Annu Kaushik, Firstpost, October 17, 2022:

In 2020, Mary Mohammadi was taken to a detention center near Iran’s capital Tehran. Officials told her that her hair was visible.

In the basement of the all-female detention center, Mary was forced to strip.

“If my hair is a problem, is it not a problem to force me to take off all my clothes? Is this Islamic?,” Mary told Firstpost in an exclusive conversation.

The incident was part of the sexual violence that the regime has been using to suppress female protesters and activists, Mary said.

“During protests, security personnel touch female demonstrators inappropriately. They want to make women fearful of stepping out,” she said.

24-year-old Mary has been on the radar of Iranian officials for several reasons. Born to a Muslim family, she converted to Christianity in 2017.

Christian converts and other religious minorities like the Bahais are not recognised in Iran.

Over the last few years, Mary has faced persecution from the authorities in the form of arrests and interrogations due to her faith as well as activism.

The personnel who transferred her to the detention center in 2020 belonged to the morality police which is currently in the eye of the storm due to the death of Mahsa Amini which has triggered nationwide protests in Iran.

But it’s not just the morality police who target women for not wearing the mandatory hijab or a head scarf or wearing it improperly.

According to Mary “radical Muslims do it too.”

In 2019, Mary was on a bus in Tehran. It was a hot day and she had taken off her hijab. Suddenly a fully veiled woman approached Mary and asked her to cover her hair.

“When I refused, an argument ensued during which the woman attacked me & my face was left bloodied,” Mary said.

The activist somehow managed to take the woman to the police station. According to Mary, the officers dissuaded her from filing a complaint and even threatened her with arrest.

“They (police) were very kind to that woman. They let her go at 10 pm but kept me in custody till 3 am,” she added.

“Radical Muslims can even attack minorities in public because the regime is behind them,

“Islamic hijab is mandatory in Iran even for non-Muslims. I am a Christian but I must wear hijab,” she said.

Mary’s activism and faith also took a personal toll. Without giving any reason, her university barred her from appearing in exams.

But what was more hurtful for Mary was the treatment meted out to her by a former employer who was also a close friend.

“The gymnast training center where I worked was shut down during the COVID lockdown. I kept asking my employers when I can return and they told me and they are still closed,” Mary said.

One day, the activist turned up at the center unannounced and saw that it was fully operational.

Mary was not given her job back and believes that her employer and the university faced pressure from the authorities.

Constant threats that Mary said were from the authorities forced her to flee Iran in February 2022. The activist who is currently living in the US told Firstpost that in her home country security forces “continue to use sexual violence in the ongoing protests.”…

What the Abortion Industry Doesn’t Want You to Know

Abortion thrives in darkness.  Abortion advocates are doing their best to keep people ignorant of the true nature of the abortion business.

There are lots of botched abortions, but the abortion industry tries to cover them up and tell people abortion is ‘safe’. Women have died from botched abortions, but the abortion industry doesn’t want you to know that.  At the moment, there are four lawsuits pending in Alabama, Maryland, and D.C. arising from botched abortions.

Abortion advocates are claiming the abortion drug Mifepristone is safer than Tylenol and sends fewer people to the emergency room.  Nice try.  Here are the facts:  Mifepristone has been linked to 24 deaths and 4,000 serious complications from the year 2000 to 2018. The numbers would be higher but the Obama administration stopped requiring the reporting of non-fatal complications – another cover-up.  The claim the drug is safer than Tylenol is based on a single 2013 study showing a 0.3 percent hospitalization rate, but other studies found much higher hospitalization rates, as high as 20 percent.  But you won’t hear anything about these studies from abortion advocates.

In fact, you won’t hear anything about independent research from abortion advocates, at all.  Instead, the industry pays hired guns for research that, unsurprisingly, concludes abortion is good.  One such study:

reportedly proves that 95 percent of women have no regrets about their abortions and that abortion causes no mental health problems. But a new exposé reveals that the authors have misled the public, using an unrepresentative, highly biased sample and misleading questions. In fact, over two-thirds of the women approached at the abortion clinics refused to be interviewed, and half of those who agreed dropped out. Refusers and dropouts are known to have more post abortion problems.

A public charter school in Boston is teaching ninth-graders abortion prevents pregnancy.  Class material defines abortion as a “procedure performed by a doctor that prevents a pregnancy once the sperm has already joined with an egg.” Critics say the school is misleading students, and the critics are right.  Isn’t there something wrong when you have to resort to misleading gullible youth to stay in business?

The abortion industry doesn’t want you to know lots of workers have quit after seeing the true nature of the abortion business up close.  An abortion clinic worker in Florida quit from feeling guilty after helping “railroad” a woman into a $7,000 late-term abortion.  The worker had been accumulating doubts about the clinic’s obsession with money and that was the final straw.  “I couldn’t face myself in the mirror,” she said.

In another indication abortion advocates don’t want the truth to be known, activists vandalized a pro-life billboard in Mississippi in January, then celebrated the destruction online.  The vandalism turned the billboard’s message about abortion pill reversal treatment into a pitch for abortion drugs, instead.  Activists are throwing smoke-bombs at pro-lifers and threatening violence as they become increasingly unhinged at the prospect of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade.

Abortion advocates lied to the press in their campaign to get the Supreme Court to approve abortion in the 1970s.  And they’ve been lying ever since.  This is all they’ve got.   They know they don’t have an argument left.  They’re pathetic and I, for one, can’t wait for the Supreme Court to throw out the federal right to abortion.
