Judicial Watch Uncovers Biden Administration Propaganda Plan to Push COVID Vaccine

Washington, D.C. – Judicial Watch announced today that it received 249 pages of records from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) detailing the extensive media plans for a propaganda campaign to push the COVID-19 vaccine.

The records were received in in response to an August 2021 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)lawsuit filed after HHS failed to respond to a April 19, 2021 request for records related to the Biden HHS’ “COVID-19 Community Corps” program (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (No. 1:22-cv-02315)).

Judicial Watch is asking for all records regarding the application process; all organizations asking to be chosen to participate; all grants; and all communications of representatives of the Department of Health and Human Services regarding the program.

“These records show a disturbing and massive campaign by the Biden administration to propagandize and politicize the controversial COVID vaccine,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “It seems as if the entire entertainment industry was an agent for the government!”

Through FOIA, Judicial Watch has uncovered a substantial amount of information about COVID-19 issues:

  • Recently, NIH records revealed an FBI “inquiry” into the NIH’s controversial bat coronavirus grant tied to the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The records also show National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) officials were concerned about “gain-of-function” research in China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology in 2016. The Fauci agency was also concerned about EcoHealth Alliance’s lack of compliance with reporting rules and use of gain-of-function research in the NIH-funded research involving bat coronaviruses in Wuhan, China.
  • HHS records revealed that from 2014 to 2019, $826,277 was given to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for bat coronavirus research by the NIAID.
  • NIAID records showed that it gave nine China-related grants to EcoHealth Alliance to research coronavirus emergence in bats and was the NIH’s top issuer of grants to the Wuhan lab itself. The records also included an email from the vice director of the Wuhan Lab asking an NIH official for help finding disinfectants for decontamination of airtight suits and indoor surfaces.
  • HHS records included an “urgent for Dr. Fauci ” email chain, citing ties between the Wuhan lab and the taxpayer-funded EcoHealth Alliance. The government emails also reported that the foundation of U.S. billionaire Bill Gates worked closely with the Chinese government to pave the way for Chinese-produced medications to be sold outside China and help “raise China’s voice of governance by placing representatives from China on important international counsels as high level commitment from China.”
  • HHS records included a grant application for research involving the coronavirus that appears to describe “gain-of-function” research involving RNA extractions from bats, experiments on viruses, attempts to develop a chimeric virus and efforts to genetically manipulate the full-length bat SARSr-CoV WIV1 strain molecular clone.
  • HHS records showed the State Department and NIAID knew immediately in January 2020 that China was withholding COVID data, which was hindering risk assessment and response by public health officials.
  • University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) records show the former director of the Galveston National Laboratory at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), Dr. James W. Le Duc warned Chinese researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology of potential investigations into the COVID issue by Congress.
  • HHS records regarding biodistribution studies and related data for the COVID-19 vaccines show a key component of the vaccines developed by Pfizer/BioNTech, lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), were found outside the injection site, mainly the liver, adrenal glands, spleen and ovaries of test animals, eight to 48 hours after injection.
  • Records from the Federal Select Agent Program (FSAP) reveal safety lapses and violations at U.S. biosafety laboratories that conduct research on dangerous agents and toxins.
  • HHS records include emails between National Institutes of Health (NIH) then-Director Francis Collins and Anthony Fauci, the director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), about hydroxychloroquine and COVID-19.
  • HHS records show that NIH officials tailored confidentiality forms to China’s terms and that the World Health Organization (WHO) conducted an unreleased, “strictly confidential” COVID-19 epidemiological analysis in January 2020.
  • Fauci emails include his approval of a press release supportive of China’s response to the 2019 novel coronavirus.

Castration: Castration is any action, surgical, chemical, or otherwise, by which an individual loses use of the testicles: the male gonad. Surgical castration is bilateral orchiectomy, while chemical castration uses pharmaceutical drugs to deactivate the testes.

The crass commercialism of the transgender lobby is on full display this week with revelations three medical trade associations, including the AMA, are asking the Justice Department to “investigate and prosecute” anyone who threatens violence against doctors and hospitals for providing transgender drugs and surgery to minors.  These commercial associations claim doctors and hospitals are receiving harassing emails and threats of personal violence from a vast conspiracy of individuals and entities who object to mutilation of children for profit.  News to me.  But I have heard of firebombings and dozens of other actual attacks against pregnancy centers and pro-life groups that the Justice Department refuses to investigate.  Maybe when the vast anti-transgender conspiracy produces actual attacks on the same scale the Justice Department might get interested.

These trade groups can’t stand the fact truthful information contrary to their financial interest is being presented to the public.  “The attacks are rooted in an intentional campaign of disinformation, where a few high-profile users on social media share false and misleading information…,” the associations claim in their letter.   Translation: these merchants wish people like me would just shut up so they can make more money.

Some 300 highly profitable pediatric gender clinics have opened around the country in the last few years.  There’s gold in them thar gender confusions.  “Like most professionals, physicians and surgeons also seek to maximize their income,” a California psychologist said.  Demand is up, but you have to ask yourself what’s driving it.  The answer is social contagion and an aggressive political Left manipulating confused young people every step of the way.   Now the Left is putting the pedal to the metal.  Just a few weeks ago, it was hateful to suggest that hospitals were performing transgender surgery on minors.  But now, the New York Times proclaims hundreds of such surgeries are being performed and it’s glorious.

If it really is all that grand, why are sellers taking steps to hide it?   Vanderbilt University Medical Center took down the webpages for its adult and pediatric gender clinics after doctors at the hospital were caught on video talking about how lucrative breast and genital removals are, calling them a “big moneymaker”.  They also threatened hospital employees who wouldn’t get with the program.

That’s not all the transgender lobby is hiding.  A detransitioner recently said his doctors didn’t warn him transgender drugs and surgery could have serious side effects.  Now he’s living with numbness in his chest, genital atrophy, and tremors.  Why would doctors make full disclosure?  There’s money to be made by hiding any potential complication.

Proponents of all this also don’t want you to know some of the money ends up benefitting Democrat Party affinity groups and causes.  A group that promotes transgenderism for 2-year-olds received over $250 million in federal funds for, among other things, training 90,000 educators about such topics as the emergence of transgender identity in toddlers.  The group has spent almost $2 million on lobbying efforts since 2018, making contributions to such Democrat/Left-aligned groups as the NAACP, Human Rights Campaign, and the Southern Poverty Law Center.  So, you see, in the Left/Democrat world, one hand washes the other.  It’s one of their insidious machines.

But there’s no arguing with success.  Three weeks ago, I told you that the California legislature passed a bill to have the state take legal custody of minors who travel from other states seeking transgender drugs and surgery.  That bill is now law and takes effect January 1st.   None dare call it the new California Gold Rush.  Oklahoma, on the other hand, hit the transgender-industrial complex right in the pocketbook, passing a law prohibiting Oklahoma University Children’s Hospital from receiving federal COVID relief funds until it stops providing transgender services to minors.

It’s time to move in Oklahoma’s direction.  What we have here is a manipulative political Left ginning up false demand and a greedy transgender-industrial complex only too happy to meet it.  It’s time to protect children from these financial predators.

Daily Mail: Members of a Vermont girls high school volleyball team have been banned from using their own locker room and now have to change in a single bathroom stall after they complained about a transgender teammate.

Some teammates allege that the transgender player at Randolph Union High School made an ‘inappropriate remark’ to some of them while they were changing in the locker room.

They now want the school to relocate the transgender player, who hasn’t been named. No details of the alleged inappropriate remark have been shared.

But Vermont’s state law means that students can play sports and use the locker which correspond to the gender with which they identify.

Blake Allen, a player on the team, told WCAX how uncomfortable it makes her feel, saying ‘its a huge thing . . . everyone’s asking ‘why aren’t you allowed in the locker room?’

‘They want all the girls who feel uncomfortable to get changed in a single-stall bathroom, which would take over 30 minutes,’ she said. ‘Where, if one person got changed separately, it would take a minute, like no extra time.’

Allen said the issue isn’t with the transgender athlete playing on the team, but being in a locker room where the female students are at their most vulnerable.

She added: ‘My mom wants me to do this interview to try to make a change.’

School officials sent out another email informing parents they are looking into allegations that the volleyball girls harassed the transgender student.

Lisa Floyd, Randolph High School co-president, said that when policies are violated, disciplinary action consistent with the school’s rules will be applied, adding that students’ safety is the ‘district’s top priority.’

According to the policies of the Vermont Agency of Education, ‘the use of restrooms and locker rooms by transgender students require school to consider numerous facts,’ the agency said.

The agency states in their policy that ‘a transgender student should not be required to use a locker room or restroom that conflicts with the student’s gender identity.’

The school’s investigation is ongoing.

Transgender athletes and school students have become a hot button issue in recent years – particularly when they’ve transitioned from male-to-female.

Trans swimmer Lia Thomas sparked an outcry over unfairness after she smashed multiple college swimming records, prompting a crackdown on transgender women competing in swimming.

Transgender doctors want the FBI to protect their dodgy ideology

Three of America’s most powerful medical groups have teamed up to demand government protection for doctors and hospitals which provide transgender medicine and surgery for children.

The American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, and the Children’s Hospital Association have sent an open letter to US Attorney-General Merrick Garland urging him to “investigate the organizations, individuals, and entities coordinating, provoking, and carrying out bomb threats and threats of personal violence against children’s hospitals and physicians across the US.”

But that’s not all. The troika also want the government and social media companies to gag critics who spread “disinformation”.

“The attacks,” they write, “are rooted in an intentional campaign of disinformation, where a few high-profile users on social media share false and misleading information targeting individual physicians and hospitals, resulting in a rapid escalation of threats, harassment, and disruption of care across multiple jurisdictions.”

One of these “high-profile users”, investigative journalist Christopher Rufo, responded immediately. “I have a message for Attorney General Merrick Garland: you can threaten us; you can mobilize the FBI against us; you can drag us out of our homes in a pre-dawn raid. But we are not going to stop reporting on radical gender surgeries on minors.”

“Mobilizing the FBI” sounds absurd — but it’s not. The FBI, which reports to the Department of Justice and the Attorney-General, recently arrested a pro-life activist, Mark Houck, over an alleged altercation in front of a Philadelphia abortion clinic in October last year. It was an event so petty that the District Court of Philadelphia threw the case out.

The complainant went to the FBI. Houck’s wife claims that about 25 agents raided their home with guns drawn, handcuffed her husband in front of their seven children, and hauled him away. The FBI disputes her version of events and Houck has pleaded not guilty and has been freed on bail.

But the incident shows what could happen if the Attorney-General decides to take the troika’s letter seriously.

What he hasn’t taken seriously is violence against pro-lifers. That’s a real issue. An elderly pro-life volunteer was shot in Michigan last month, although she was not seriously hurt.

The activist group Catholic Vote has documented 73 incidents in which pregnancy support centers and offices of pro-life groups have been attacked and vandalized since early May.

The militant abortion rights group Jane’s Revenge’s signature message is: “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.” It has claimed responsibility for at least 18 attacks but not a single arrest has been made.

Admittedly, there have been hostile posts on social media about Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s transgender clinic after The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh exposed its activities and business practices. Staff at the Boston Children’s Hospital’s Center for Gender Surgery have been barraged with hostile messages on social media and there was one bomb threat. Perhaps these prompted the troika’s letter.

Violence must always be condemned. Anyone who threatens or attacks doctors and hospitals providing transgender medicine should be punished. But even the letter from the troika did not mention a single act of violence. No fire-bombing, no graffiti, no vandalism. Certainly no one has been shot.

What must be condemned is the violence that the billion-dollar transgender industry imposes upon American children as it pockets their cash. Mastectomies and castrations are the handiwork of deranged ideologues, not real scientists.

In science and medicine, the way to silence critics is to present clear and irrefutable evidence, not to threaten them with deplatforming, cancellation, and FBI handcuffs. But that’s essentially what three of America’s leading medical organisations are doing. It’s the kind of tactic that the Soviets used to enforce the Marxist-Leninist bogus biology of Lysenkoism.

The troika asserts that transgender clinics are providing “evidence-based health care”. But that evidence is being challenged by leading medical authorities inside and outside the United States, by the lived experience of transitioners, and by numerous highly competent journalists. The most toxic disinformation of all is oozing out from the transgender industry itself.

The open letter doesn’t mention any of the following developments in the world of transgender medicine:

  • In the United Kingdom, the Tavistock clinic – which has been “the model for treating trans people around the world” — was forced to close its doors. It is not, according to an interim report by a professor of paediatrics, Hilary Cass, “a safe or viable long-term option in view of concerns about lack of peer review and the ability to respond to the increasing demand.” In fact, she went on to say that there are “gaps in the evidence base regarding all aspects of gender care for children and young people, from epidemiology through to assessment, diagnosis, support, counselling and treatment.”
  • In France, the National Academy of Medicine declared earlier this year: “great medical caution must be taken in children and adolescents, given the vulnerability, particularly psychological, of this population and the many undesirable effects and even serious complications that can be caused by some of the therapies available”.
  • In Sweden, the National Board of Health and Welfare issued new guidelines for gender-affirming care in February. It said, based on current knowledge: “the risks of puberty suppressing treatment with GnRH-analogues and gender-affirming hormonal treatment currently outweigh the possible benefits, and that the treatments should be offered only in exceptional cases.”
  • In Finland, the Finnish Health Authority (PALKO/COHERE) reversed course in 2020. Its new guidance stated that “psychotherapy, rather than puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, should be the first-line treatment for gender-dysphoric youth”.

The real explanation for this letter must be that doctors providing transgender medicine are running scared. They’re afraid that their house of cards will be blown away by the facts. But if they can’t persuade, they can still bloviate, bluster, and bully. And that’s what they’re doing.

Clinton: There’s a ‘Limit’ to How Many Migrants U.S. Can Take

Thursday on CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS podcast, former President Bill Clinton said that “there is a limit” to how many migrants the United States can accept before it causes disruption.

Asked if some order doesn’t have to be placed on the broken, overwhelmed asylum system in the U.S., Clinton replied, “I agree with that. There is a limit to how many migrants any society can take without severe disruption and assistance. And our system is based much more on an assumption that things would be more normal.

“For example, as long as I can remember, we’ve had an immigration system, we’ve given green cards to people from other countries who had valuable skills that we needed. And it generally had a lot of support until somebody felt their economic interests were threatened,” he continued. “When I was a boy, when I was a young man even, Mexican citizens moved freely back and forth across the Rio Grande River and did agricultural work. And it worked for people. NAFTA happened at a time when there was increasing industrialization. Everybody knew that was going to happen, but it did displace jobs.”

He added, “El Paso lost 6,600 jobs when the manufacturing of jeans went across the border. But they supported it, because they knew that over the long run, they had to find a way to live together and work together. So this is an old story. But now you just got the largest number of refugees since World War II because of Syria and now Ukraine. And other problems in the middle.”

Not to mention the fact that the Biden administration, run behind the scenes by radicals Barack Obama and Valerie Jarrett, has essentially thrown open the border in order to admit literally millions of future Democrat voters.

Among other things, they had earned anywhere from $31 million to $37 million in advance payments for books they had authored since 2003.  Mrs. Clinton, for her part, routinely earned $200,000 per speech after resigning as Secretary of State.  Mr. Clinton, meanwhile, had earned $106 million in speaker’s fees between 2001 and 2013, including $17 million for 72 speeches he gave in 2012 alone; he once charged $750,000 for a single speech.

The letter goes on to detail the way teen performers are made to enact sadistic pedophilic fantasies, the use of coercion and sexual assault on porn sets, and how all of this is contributing to the high number of deaths among young porn performers.

Our porn-saturated world is infecting the minds of children at younger and younger ages. By 13, most kids have seen it, many are addicted, and it’s grooming them to be lured into this predatory industry.

Without a doubt, the “adult” industry is cashing in on the vulnerability of youth.

Whitmer Administration To Hire ‘Sexual Orientation’ And ‘Expression’ Consultant For Foster Kids

The administration of Michigan Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer proposed a contract for a child foster care consultant on gender identity and sexual orientation, according to documents made public by the Washington Free Beacon.

The Children’s Services Agency, which “oversees all child welfare services for children,” is seeking a “Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE) Consultant” as of Sept. 12, according to documents made public by the Washington Free Beacon. The consultant would be a part of the “Diversity Equity and Inclusion Unit” and would focus on determining the “needs and concerns of LGBTQ staff, families and children.”

The consultant would create resources such as handouts, books, trainings and videos based on the results of a survey given to the LGBTQ community, the proposed contract stated. Trainings may cover topics that affect the LGBTQ community such as “implicit bias” and “historical needs.”

Within in the five largest counties of the state, Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Kent and Genesee, a transgender youth service must be provided, the proposal contract read. The consultant will also focus on trainings and resources specifically aimed at the LGBTQ youth.

At the six-month mark of the job, the consultant will provide an update on the “successes and opportunities for growth” of the LGBTQ community, the proposal contract read. The goal of the position is to heighten “sensitivity” toward the LGBTQ community and issues surrounding the community.

In January, Whitmer’s Children’s Services Agency was called “just devastating” by a federal judge after a report showed that children were living in unsanitary conditions and were not monitored even after making threats of self-harm, according to the Detroit News. As a part of a settlement from a 2006 lawsuit over the dangers of the foster care system, the Children’s Services Agency agreed to make reforms to the system.

The Department of Health and Human Services did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

PROTECT Act Will Aid Victims of Image-Based Sexual Abuse Against Big Porn

It only takes an instant for anyone to become a victim of image-based sexual abuse (IBSA).

It can happen through hidden camera videos, deepfake/edited images, leaked photos, filmed child sexual abuse, rape, sex trafficking, and prostitution.

These images can circulate fast and be posted to pornography websites, or shared without consent to other platforms, often before the victim even realizes it has happened.

The cruel irony is that there are currently no federal laws requiring websites which allow pornography on their platforms to verify the age and consent of every person depicted in those images. This is a massive gap in the law, and one that must be and can be immediately rectified.

Recognizing this problem after sitting down and working with survivors, Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), last night introduced the Preventing Rampant Online Technological and Criminal Trafficking Act of 2022 (PROTECT Act) that would require websites allowing sexually explicit material (pornography) to obtain verified consent forms from individuals uploading content, or appearing in uploaded content, and to require websites to remove images uploaded without consent.

The PROTECT Act fills a gaping hole in existing law that allows pornography to be created, uploaded, and distributed online without the consent of persons depicted in the material. This has led to the victimization of countless women and men who have few or no remedies under present law.

Notably, the bill has robust requirements for websites to quickly remove content, and prevent re-upload of content, once they are notified the content was created or distributed without consent. Importantly, the bill adds criminal penalties for those who knowingly upload sexually explicit content without the consent of those depicted. This sends the message loud and clear that such activity is wrong, harmful, and will not be tolerated. This bill empowers IBSA victims to hold both the uploaders – and the platforms that profit from their abuse – accountable through civil remedies.

Survivors Call PROTECT Act Key to Ending Online Sexual Abuse

Two hundred survivors of image-based sexual abuse have signed a letter calling on the U.S. Congress to pass the PROTECT Act, and many are being vocal about why protections are needed.

“Technology is updating everyday but the laws haven’t changed. We need the PROTECT Act because it will protect the future of our children, women, men and ensure that the internet is a safer environment,” said Uldouz Wallace, Actress, Survivor.

“When I found out there have been two sexual videos of me posted on Pornhub and other pornography websites for the past 12 years, not once did I feel protected by the law. There are no laws in my state to protect survivors of image-based sexual abuse, but if this bill is put in place, it could help so many survivors like me,” said Katelynn Spencer, Survivor Leader.

”Online criminal enterprises have been allowed to flourish unregulated for over a decade. Technology has surpassed the reach of our current laws. The internet and technology have become weapons in digital violence. We desperately need a federal law to protect victims against online image-based sexual abuse including edited and deepfake content. The PROTECT Act would provide this protection. What Will the PROTECT Act do?

The PROTECT Act gives significant provisions for empowering a person depicted in sexually explicit videos/images to have those recordings removed and obtain damages for the harm their distribution caused. The PROTECT Act:

  • Requires covered platforms to obtain age verification for anyone who uploads content that is sufficient and independently verifiable
  • Requires covered platforms to obtain consent for each act depicted and distribution of the specific image from each individual appearing in the content
  • Requires covered platforms to obtain age verification from each individual appearing in the content
  • Allows eligible persons (including their authorized representative, parent/guardian, law enforcement) depicted without consent, or who have withdrawn consent, to have their image(s) removed, and block re-uploads, including any altered or edited versions
  •  Allows individuals harmed to bring a civil action in district court to seek damages
  • Penalizes covered platforms that fail to remove reported content, verify for age and consent, and block re-uploads

What is Image-Based Sexual Abuse?

Image-based sexual abuse (IBSA) is the creating, threatening to share, sharing, or using of recordings (still images or videos) of sexually explicit or sexualized materials without the consent of the person depicted and/or for purposes of exploitation.

Key Facts:

  • A 2017 U.S. survey conducted on Facebook, found that of 3,044 participants, 1 in 8 had been targets of the distribution, or threat of distribution, of sexually graphic images without their consent.
  • A survey of young adults (ages 18-25) who had experienced sextortion found that approximately 40% of participants reported that their sextortion occurred online.
  • An informal survey of survivors of IBSA found they often had their full name published alongside the explicit imagery (59%), social media/network information (49%), email (26%), phone number (20%), physical home address (16%), or work address (14%.).
  • A 2017 Cyber Civil Rights Initiative survey found that compared to people without IBSA victimization, victims had “significantly worse mental health outcomes and higher levels of physiological problems,” such as high levels of anxiety, PTSD, depression, feelings of shame and humiliation, as well as loss of trust and sexual agency.

The Connection Between Fear and Deception

All true believers should understand the words spoken by God, Who said many times in His word, “Fear not”! There is a reason why He told us all to reject fear, but few actually look deeply enough into the matter to fully understand why that is a not a ‘suggestion’, but a ‘command’ of God to His people.

I believe very few people understand just what fear is, how it works and the results it produces. If God says to “do this” and “do NOT do that”, He is NOT saying it just to hear Himself speak; HE knows exactly what fear is and how damaging and destructive it is and He wants us to live free of fear.

We are told NOT to fear.

We are also admonished by the Apostle Paul when He said, “Let no man deceive you by ANY means” (2 Thessalonians 2:3 KJV). Again, I believe few people truly understand deception, how it works and what it leads to. If allowed, it can reach a level in a person’s mind from which there is no return, a state of delusion that is totally destructive.

Is there then a connection between fear and deception? Let’s look into the matter and seek God’s wisdom in it.

Fear, What It Is, Where It Comes From and How It Works

First, What IS Fear?

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, fear is a noun, meaning, a)“an unpleasant, often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger”; and b) a state (of being) marked by this emotion

Fear is also a verb, meaning, “to be afraid of; to expect with alarm”. It is important to understand both the noun and verb meanings to understand what fear does.

Where Does Fear come From?

“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love” (1 John 4:8 KJV). From this passage, we understand the nature of God, and we know that “God is Love”. “There is no fear in love (God); but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” (1 John 4:18 KJV). Since God (love) exists without fear and actually casts out all fear, we can surmise that fear comes from a source other than  God.

How Fear Works

When fear enters a person’s mind, which is the center of man’s awareness and the response to all incoming sensory information, a level of discomfort is experienced that MUST produce either a response based on one’s beliefs, or a reaction, like ‘flight or fight’. In either case. man must find a way to deal with the ‘fearful’ info that causes discomfort.

Fear is a highly developed spiritual weapon that Satan, the exact opposite of God, uses to torment his enemies. In using fear, Satan tries to force a reaction that will cause a wrong decision to be made, giving Satan what he wants: the potential to control the person he aims that weapon against.

Let’s look at the difference between two words, response and reaction, that many seem to use as though they are the same, mean the same and can always be used as though they ARE the same., when in reality, they are very different.

First, the word response which has as synonyms, answer, response, reply, retort. Answer implies the satisfying of a question, demand, call or need. Response may imply a quick or spontaneous ‘reaction’ to a person or thing that serves as a stimulus (fear). Reply often suggests a thorough response to all issues, points or questions raised. Retort implies a reaction to an implicit or explicit charge, criticism or attack which contains a countercharge or counterattack.

While all could be used when confronted with, or attacked by, fear, we have as THE example for our action in such situations, Jesus, who was often attacked and/or confronted by fear in His time on this earth. In those instances, what did Jesus do? He spoke the words that His Father had already spoken and allowed those words to provide the perfect answer, response or retort against His attackers. He was able to do this, successfully, in every situation because He was thoroughly attuned to God’s word. To follow the example of Jesus to counter fear, we must also KNOW what God’s word says and be prepared to use it just as Jesus did.

He consistently taught His disciples to understand why they were being attacked by our adversary and how to counter the fear he was using against them. As damaging as fear itself can be, leaving mental scars that may linger for many days, He was aware of an even more damaging aspect of fear: that fear leads people to seek relief from it, and many will choose the wrong way to get that relief. If not dealt with properly, the fear will lead to making decisions which may allow the enemy to increase his attacks, a primary means of trying to deceive the hearer.

Where Does Fear Lead?

Aside from being a primary weapon used to frighten and frustrate believers and unbelievers alike, fear has a ‘destination’. Fear always leads to deception, a state  in which the deceived is caused to accept as true, something that is false or invalid.

Once established in the mind of the deceived, the falsehood becomes a part of that person’s belief system and he or she will defend it vigorously even though it is false. That dogged adherence to a lie will further erode the mental capacity to determine what is true and what is a lie in any situation. This demonic state then leads to delusion.

Paul spoke of this progression from fear to deception to delusion in his letter to the Thessalonian believers: “…because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause, God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

Where Does Delusion Lead?

The verses above clearly state that because people are captured by delusion, they are headed toward damnation, the eternal kind from which there is little hope of recovery. The Oxford Living Dictionary defines delusion as: “An idiosyncratic belief or impression maintained despite being contradicted by reality or rational argument.” So it becomes clear that a person suffering from delusion is one who might never accept the truth because the lie produced by deception has become ingrained in the person’s mind ‘as truth’ that cannot, or should not be refuted.

Thus, people who have allowed fear to cause them to make seriously bad decisions are similar to the people of Germany who were led into a disastrous war in which many millions of people died. After World War II, during the Nuremberg trials, many failed to comprehend how so many Germans were convinced of the ‘rightness’ of Hitler’s Third Reich and were so easily led  to support him. During the trial, Hitler’s right hand, Hermann Goring, explained how they accomplished that feat:

“It’s easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and… they will follow their leader. This works in every nation.”

“Just make the people afraid and they will do whatever you want”.

Unfortunately, that fear led to the deception that Hitler, the demonically influenced German leader, was doing something good for the German nation and that deception/delusion led to the near-destruction of Germany.

How to Counter-Attack Fear

Remember that fear does NOT come from God. We are told in 1 John 4:18, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

So when fear attacks, what should the believer do? First, remember where the fear comes from and recognize it as a spiritual attack from Satan. If you allow fear to remain in your presence instead of immediately counterattacking it, Satan will almost immediately present the deception he wants you to accept. The best example of a perfect counter-attack against fear is that of Jesus, Who when approached by Satan, using his weapons to deceive Jesus into worshipping him, used the words that God had already spoken to Him. Satan, knowing he was defeated by the word, then  left Jesus alone.

We also can use God’s words against Satan, against fear and make him flee. Read James 4:6-7 KJV and you will see God’s weapon He has given us to defeat fear and Satan:

“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”. True humility, the act of confessing the Lordship of Jesus over our lives and submitting wholly to Him for our entire subsistence allows the grace of God to flood our lives and also gives us the courage to face Satan and use God’s spiritual weapon of His Word to defeat the enemy of our souls.

If we are faithful to follow this process, w can not only live free of fear, but we can avoid all deception, which is pleasing to God.

Cornell University Physician: ‘I Was Wrong about Covid Vaccine Mandates’

Scientists and public health officials must act more humbly and recognize the limits of their knowledge, writes Dr. Paul Fenyves.

The great martial artist Bruce Lee reputedly said that all mistakes are forgivable—if one has the courage to admit the mistake.

Paul Fenyves, a primary care physician in New York City who specializes in internal medicine, seems to have learned this lesson. Fenyves, a primary care doctor at Weill Cornell Medicine, recently admitted he was wrong to support vaccine mandates.

“I was initially supportive of Covid vaccine mandates in the Fall of 2021. At the time, I was told that Covid vaccines don’t only protect the individual receiving the vaccine, but they also benefit the community by reducing spread of the virus,” Fenyves wrote on the Substack Sensible Medicine.

Convinced that mandatory vaccination would create a “wall of immunity” that would bring the pandemic to an end more quickly, Fenyves said it seemed “reasonable to prioritize societal welfare over individual autonomy,” noting that early clinical trials of Pfizer’s vaccine were shown to stop 95 percent of infections.

“Surely a vaccine that prevents almost all infections would halt community spread, right? Wrong,” he writes. “Perhaps there was a time when Covid vaccines could significantly reduce community transmission, but that time was short-lived, and the virus quickly evolved and learned to evade vaccine-induced immunity.”

For Fenyves, his awakening moment came in December 2021, when Portugal experienced a massive surge of Covid despite a vaccination rate of more than 90 percent.

Fenyves concedes there are other reasons one could support mandatory vaccination even if it doesn’t reduce community spread, noting that some contend forced vaccination is moral because it’s done “for their own good.”

“I find these arguments to be weak justifications for violating an individual’s autonomy and mandating a medical intervention,” he writes. “Furthermore, these arguments are completely inadequate when applied to young people, whose risk of hospitalization from Covid is low, and whose likelihood of benefiting from vaccination is similarly low.”

Some may argue that Fenyves is right about vaccine mandates, but for the wrong reasons.

Vinay Prasad, an associate professor in University of California, San Francisco’s Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, argues vaccine mandates would be wrong even if there was a community benefit because the social costs are too high.

“My conclusion was always that the societal harm of mandates far exceeds any benefit, and as such I always opposed mandates,” writes Prasad in an introduction to Fenyves’s article.

Others might wonder why it took Fenyves until December 2021 to recognize he was wrong about vaccine mandates. Put aside for a moment that vaccine mandates violate bodily autonomy and the non-aggression principle, which makes them inherently immoral.

As early as August 2021 it was clear that “vaccine breakthroughs” were quite common and that naturally immunity conferred powerful protection against Covid. Why was it not until December 2021 that Fenyves realized he was wrong about vaccine mandates?

These are fair points, but they should not overshadow the larger lesson Fenyves is sharing, which is that scientists and public health officials must act more humbly with their immense power and recognize the limits of their knowledge.

“Those in the medical community who, like me, argued that vaccines should be mandated to protect the community should feel chastened,” writes Fenyves. “When considering mandating vaccines in the future, we should proceed with humility, acknowledging that our knowledge is far from perfect and our truths are often transitory.”

Two words in the last sentence are incredibly important: knowledge and humility.

These same two words are found in F.A. Hayek’s famous 1974 Nobel Prize speech, in which he warned against scientists and planners acting on “a pretense of knowledge.” Instead of recognizing the limitations of knowledge in an infinitely complex world, Hayek saw modern humans “dizzy with success” over the marvels of modern science, which had convinced them they possessed enough knowledge to engineer society effectively.

“The curious task of economics,” he famously wrote in The Fatal Conceit, “is to demonstrate to men how little they really know about what they imagine they can design.”

The antidote to this fatal conceit—which Hayek warned leads to “grave consequences”—is humility.

T.S. Eliot once observed that humility “is the most difficult of all virtues to achieve,” and a lack of it is what lurked beneath the deadly collectivist schemes of the twentieth century, from Stalin’s Five Year Plans to Mao’s Great Leap Forward and beyond.

The “fatal striving to control society” is born of arrogance, Hayek understood. And it was this arrogance that led public health officials and politicians to decide they had enough knowledge to make life-and-death decisions for others during the pandemic, to decide what they had to put into their bodies.

Fenyves is right that a healthy dose if humility is in order, and that the knowledge we possess is far from perfect.

If we fail to learn this lesson, the consequences could be even worse the next time government officials attempt to prevent a crisis from happening.

Physicians Group Sues FDA Over Ivermectin

Report: Ivermectin Obliterated 97% Of Covid Cases In Delhi, India

On June 1, the Desert Review News reported that Ivermectin had obliterated 97 percent of Covid infections in India’s capitol territory, Delhi (pop. 30 million).

The chart below shows that Delhi was experiencing more than 20,000 new cases daily in early May. By the end of the month, new cases had dropped precipitously, to a 7-day average of less than 1,500 new cases daily.

On Sept. 18, the Indian Express reported that Delhi had only 33 new Covid cases and only one new death in the previous 24 hours.

What reportedly happened in Delhi is anecdotal evidence that Ivermectin can play an important role in mitigating Covid. Anecdotal, yes, but quite impressive results if the reports are accurate.

The FDA has not approved Ivermectin for treating or preventing COVID-19 in humans. Democrats ridicule Ivermectin as a “horse de-worming” medication. In fact, there are two forms of Ivermectin, one of which is used to de-worm horses. The other, which received a Nobel Prize for Medicine in 2015, is a repurposed formula used to disrupt transmission of malaria among humans. It is this latter form that reportedly has had significant results in the fight against Covid.

The beef against Ivermectin may ultimately be nothing more than (1) its cheap price, which prevents Big Pharma from making billions on less effective and more highly priced alternatives, and (2) its apparent effectiveness undercuts the Biden administration’s transparent attempt to keep voters in a heightened state of Covid fear through the 2022 elections.

ANOTHER INTRIGUING STORY ABOUT THE CORONAVIRUS

According to WorldOMeter, as of Sept. 19, China has had 95,689 coronavirus cases and 4,636 deaths since early 2020, while the U.S., with a population one-fourth as large as China’s, has recorded 42,869,445 cases and 691,562 deaths.

China has been known to put out misleading information about Covid, as has the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and the Biden administration. Assuming the statistics above are reasonably accurate, the coronavirus has had a far more devastating impact on America than on the much more populous country where it is believed to have originated.

What can possibly explain such a wide disparity? Perhaps the Gatestone Institute article “Biden Letting China Get Away with the Crime of the Century” provides a possible clue in this excerpt:

Its National Defense University, in the 2017 edition of the authoritative Science of Military Strategy, mentioned a new kind of biological warfare of “specific ethnic genetic attacks.” China’s military researchers and analysts for a half decade have been writing about pathogens of this sort, and American officials are in fact concerned that Chinese scientists have been experimenting with, in the words of Bill Gertz of the Washington Times, “germ weapons capable of attacking ethnic groups.” Beijing’s determined campaign to collect genetic profiles of foreigners … is another indication that the Chinese military, in violation of its obligations under the Biological Weapons Convention, is building ethnic-specific bioweapons.

Was Covid-19 an ethnic-specific bioweapon? I have no idea and am not saying it was, only wondering why Biden seems so reluctant to demand a serious investigation into its origin.

How Dual Diagnosis Affects Veterans

Dual diagnosis is one of the most important concepts in assessing and diagnosing the complexities of substance use disorders (SUDs) and mental health. Even before the era of COVID-19, it was estimated that upwards of 8.2 million people had dual diagnosis. While dual diagnosis plays a vital part in connecting the puzzle pieces for anyone with an SUD, it turns out that dual diagnosis is especially prevalent among veterans. Here’s how dual diagnosis affects veterans and how we can help.

What Dual Diagnosis Is

The first piece of the puzzle is exploring the question of what dual diagnosis is. On its face, it might sound like a phenomenon to describe different SUDs that people experience at the same time, such as someone who struggles with alcohol addiction and benzodiazepine addiction, for example. This example and any variety of co-occurring SUDs can certainly make up a dual diagnosis. However, while dual diagnosis can speak to the complex condition of multiple SUDs at once, it most commonly refers to the connection between SUD and mental health.

For example, dual diagnosis identifies the co-occurring phenomenon of an SUD alongside mental health issues, such as depression, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The effectiveness of dual diagnosis is its respect for the complexities of addiction and the distinction between mental health and substance use.

Often, the mental unhealth of people who struggle with substance abuse is dismissed merely as the side effect of the substances they abuse. While this is certainly possible, it is not always the case, and the failure to distinguish between substance abuse and mental health can often leave people with an inadequate treatment plan and an unsuccessful recovery. Dual diagnosis seeks to investigate, diagnose, and ultimately treat people based on their full medical and personal/family history. On this last point, we can begin to sense the importance and the connection between dual diagnosis and veterans.

Dual Diagnosis and Veterans

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) shares on its website the mental health resources available for veterans. Moreover, mental health crises are so common among enlisted and veteran military service members that a military mental health crisis line is available, too. Common mental health conditions that military veterans experience include:

  • Anxiety
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Depression
  • Sexual trauma
  • PTSD
  • Schizophrenia
  • Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Substance use

When we think about the demands and complexities of military service, it’s easy to understand why this is the case. Perhaps the most common mental health crisis military veterans experience is PTSD. The reason for this is complex, but it includes issues such as combat experience, isolation, traumatic dreams, and the service era that veterans served in the military, such as World War II or the Vietnam War.

Military service members face a complex set of problems, risks, and deadly threats. Unfortunately, suicide is a regular threat for those who cannot cope with the mental and physical demands of military service, and suicide deaths are predicated by substance use in as many as 45% of army suicide attempts alone. After serving faithfully in the military, these problems do not simply go away with certificates or service medals; they carry on in the mental experience of those who transition from enlisted to veterans.

What to Do

It cannot be understated just how important dual diagnosis is among the military veteran community. However, dual diagnosis is only part of the problem. What can and should follow dual diagnosis is treatment. In this way, we should all be reminded of the crucial part we play, both in understanding and supporting the complexities of SUDs and mental health among our beloved veterans.

The better we understand the complex nature of what military veterans struggle with, the better we can support them in their recovery. Additionally, the better we understand the role of dual diagnosis among veterans, the more we can serve those who struggle with SUD and mental health conditions that have not yet received treatment. On Thursday, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law a piece of legislation that will designate the state as a sanctuary for children and teens seeking medicalized gender transitions.

Newsom’s signature on the bill, SB 107, comes nearly a month after the California legislature passed State Senator Scott Wiener’s bill, which was introduced in 2021.

The bill allows families or individual minors who traveled to the state for the purpose of these medical procedures to be safe from out-of-state authorities acting on subpoenas, warrants, and child custody issues if the minor was brought into the state for procedures like surgical gender reassignments or the prescribing of cross-sex hormones.

The bill would also “prohibit law enforcement agencies from making, or intentionally participating in, the arrest of an individual pursuant to an out-of-state arrest warrant based on another state’s law against receiving or allowing a child to receive gender-affirming health care.”

If a child comes into the state by themselves, the bill states that “A court of this state has temporary emergency jurisdiction if the child is present in this state and the child has been abandoned or it is necessary for an emergency to protect the child because the child, or a sibling or parent of the child, is subjected to, or threatened with, mistreatment or abuse, or because the child has been unable to obtain gender-affirming health care or gender-affirming mental health care.”

In addition, the bill that the state will not honor or enforce “A law of another state that authorizes a state agency to remove a child from their parent or guardian based on the parent or guardian allowing their child to receive gender-affirming health care” if a case is pending in California courts.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Newsom commended the bill during its signing.

“In California, we believe in equality and acceptance. We believe that no one should be prosecuted or persecuted for getting the care they need — including gender-affirming care,” Newsom said. “Parents know what’s best for their kids, and they should be able to make decisions around the health of their children without fear. We must take a stand for parental choice.”

Colorado School Board Proposes Toolkit Suggesting Educators Hide Student Transitions From Parents

A Colorado school board proposed a “gender expansive” toolkit that directs educators on how to address transgender and non-binary students, including keeping gender transitions a secret from parents, according to the Post Independent.

The Roaring Fork School Board in Carbondale, Colorado, heard public comment on Wednesday with plans to vote on the toolkit on Oct. 11, according to the Post Independent. The “Toolkit for Supporting Transgender and Gender Expansive/Nonconforming Students” advises educators to keep a student’s gender identity a secret from their parents if the student wishes and to make changes to school records as they see fit.

“We previously affirmed students’ rights without yet specifying supporting practices,” Roaring Fork School District Chief Of Student And Family Services Anna Cole wrote in a memo to the board. “We have since learned the importance of providing clear guidance and programmatic support, and have heard requests from students and staff for more explicit procedures. The toolkit is our response to these requests.”

The toolkit suggests a “gender tree” to explain gender identity and calls the soil, “societal influence,” which is the way “social, cultural and institutional influence” shape “gendered individuals.” Included is “fluidity and history” as the “rings of the tree” to represent a person’s “deeply-felt sense of gender” that can expand beyond man and woman to “genderqueer and agender,” the toolkit showed.

Under the “toolkit,” educators are advised to allow students to use whichever restroom and locker room corresponds with their gender identity. On overnight trips, students should receive accommodations “on a case-by-case basis with the goals of maximizing the student’s social integration.”

“It’s one thing to identify as a gender, but quite another to compel others to use special pronouns, and to open bathrooms and locker rooms to transgender students or allow transgender students onto sports teams of the opposite sex,” a board meeting attendee said to the Post Independent. “The rights of those not identifying as transgendered are being trampled.”

In Florida, a school board implemented a sexual education curriculum that links to Planned Parenthood documents and teaches 12-year-olds “all the ways pregnancy can occur.” An Ohio school is allowing educators to wear LGBTQ badges, despite parental pushback, in an effort to show students they are allies to the community.

The Roaring Fork School Board and Roaring Fork School District did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
