First They Came and I Did Not Speak Out

German Lutheran Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) wrote a poem titled “First They Came.” Niemöller was the brother-in-law of Lutheran Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer who was implicated in the Valkyrie plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler. On the personal order of Adolf Hitler, Pastor Bonhoeffer was one of the last Germans executed by the Nazis on April 9, 1945. Bonhoeffer while in a Nazi prison wrote:

“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”

“First they came” is a famous statement and provocative poem about the cowardice of German intellectuals following the Nazis’ rise to power and the subsequent purging of their chosen targets, group after group. Many variations and adaptations in the spirit of the original have been published in the English language. It deals with the themes of persecution, guilt and responsibility.

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

Today we find the rise of the new Democrat Party. An allegiance of three key factions, the Socialists, Islamists and Homosexualists. Each faction has made it their goal to:

  1. Make America Communist for as Vladimir Lenin wrote, “The goal of Socialism is Communism.”
  2. Make America an Islamic State for the goal of the Muslim is to implement Islamic (shariah) laws in the country to which they migrate.
  3. Make America Godless, for the homosexualists hate all religions because they are held accountable for their actions.

These three factions are fundamentally incompatible one with the other. We are now seeing the Islamist faction turning against the Homosexualist faction. Soon the Socialist faction will turn against the Islamist faction, out of political necessity. Only one faction can survive in the end.

America is witness to a new cowardice of American intellectuals following the Democrat rise to power and the subsequent purging of their chosen targets, group after group.

Here is a modern day version of Niemöller’s poem:

First they came for the TEA Party
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a member of the TEA Party
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for the Christians
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Christian
Then they came for the gays
And I did not speak out
Because I was not gay
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

Christians want to save gays from Hell — Islam wants to send gays to Hell!

I have written about Islam for over a decade. One thing I have learned is that the more Islamic (shariah law) compliant an individual, organization or nation state the more dangerous and deadly they are. I have also written about how the Democratic Party is made up of groups that are fundamentally at odds with one another. However, they have joined together because the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

The Church Militant’s Michael Voris did a compelling analysis of what happened in Orlando. Voris points out:

The liberal alliance has brought various factions together, with one common goal: to end Catholic morality’s influence on Western civilization.

There are indeed some strange pairings in this liberal alliance: homosexualists, the Democratic Party, the mainstream media and Islam. Whatever differences Islam and liberals have, they have been willing to overlook them to join forces against the common enemy of Christianity, specifically Catholicism.

[ … ]

One point needs to become very clear to all those who wish to paint the Church as an enemy of gays: We want you saved. Islam wants you dead. And let’s be very clear: The Catholic Church wants to save gays from Hell. Islam wants to send gays to Hell. [Emphasis added]

That liberal alliance has been sorely tested after the massacre in Orlando by Omar Mateen, a devout follower of Mohammed.

In my May 14,  2016 column New Democrat Party: The Red–Green–Rainbow Troika I noted:

I have written that President Obama’s greatest political achievement has been to fundamentally transform the Democratic Party. The New Democratic Party (NDP) is an alliance which I call the Red-Green-Rainbow Troika or RGRT. It consists of new groups that Democrats have not historically allied themselves with, until now.

The NDP has made it its mission to protect the “civil rights and civil liberties” of groups that are both incompatible with one another and with mainstream America.

The groups are incompatible for a number of reasons including:

  1. Communists hate Muslims and gays.
  2. Muslims hate Communists and execute gays (sodomites).
  3. Gays hate all religions, but make an exception for Islam (i.e. the enemy of my enemy is my friend).

At some point these divergent groups will turn on one another.

As Ayn Rand wrote:

The uncontested absurdities of today are the accepted slogans of tomorrow. They come to be accepted by degrees, by dint of constant pressure on one side and constant retreat on the other – until one day when they are suddenly declared to be the country’s official ideology.

Here are some of the absurdities that have become the official ideology of the neo-Democrat Party:

  • The greatest national security threat is climate change (i.e. formerly global warming).
  • White Christian men are a greater threat than the Islamic State, Iran and the Black Lives Matter movement.
  • Spending on social programs is more important than spending on national security.
  • Engagement and dialogue with America’s enemies (i.e. Iran) is preferred to any form of confrontation.
  • Nationalized health care (the Affordable Care Act) is affordable.
  • Deficit spending is good for the economy and will create jobs.
  • Putting more Americans on the public dole is good for creating more government jobs.
  • Anyone who disagrees with the neo-Democrat Party policies is racist, homophobic, Islamophobic and a national security threat.
  • People don’t kill people, guns kill people (e.g. need to outlaw guns).
  • Public schools must teach children what to think, not how to think (i.e. Common Core).
  • Aborting the unborn and selling their body parts is noble.
  • Bigger government, more regulations and centralized powers and greater control over the behaviors of citizens is good.
  • Coal, oil and natural gas are evil.
  • Saving the planet is more important than saving the human race.
  • A weak America is good for world peace.
  • The Judeo/Christian God is dead.

On November 8th, 2016 millions will vote for the RGRT candidate for president. If that happens then the policies of the current administration will become the new social order.

The Obscene Narrative: ACLU Staff Attorney blames ‘Christian right,’ GOP for Orlando massacre

“You know what is gross — your thoughts and prayers and Islamophobia after you created this anti-queer climate,” ACLU staff attorney Chase Strangio tweeted on Sunday morning. Does the illustrious Strangio actually believe that Omar Mateen was incited to commit mass murder in the gay nightclub in Orlando by an “anti-queer climate” created by Christian conservatives? He probably does, since, as a Leftist, he knows that non-Muslims are always and everywhere to blame for atrocities that Muslims commit.

Chase Strangio

“ACLU lawyers blame ‘Christian right,’ GOP for Orlando terrorist attack,” by Joel Gehrke, Washington Examiner, June 12, 2016:

Christian conservatives are responsible for the mass shooting at a gay bar in Orlando because they “created this anti-queer climate,” according to American Civil Liberties Union attorneys.

“You know what is gross — your thoughts and prayers and Islamophobia after you created this anti-queer climate,” ACLU staff attorney Chase Strangio tweeted on Sunday morning.

About 50 people were killed last night by Omar Mateen, a U.S. citizen born to Afghan parents suspected to have “leanings toward extreme Islamic ideologies.” The FBI is investigating the attack as a “domestic terror incident.”

But Strangio — who “spend[s his] life fighting Christian homophobia while being loved & supported by [his] Muslim family” — and his colleagues connected the shooting back to Christians and Republican politicians who oppose gay marriage. “The Christian Right has introduced 200 anti-LGBT bills in the last six months and people blaming Islam for this,” Strangio tweeted. “No.”

Another ACLU attorney who specializes in religious liberty issues scolded Republican lawmakers who tweeted out their condolences. “Remember when you co-sponsored extreme, anti-LGBT First Amendment Defense Act?” the ACLU’s Eunice Rho tweetedat Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., and other Republicans,

House Speaker Paul Ryan was careful not to jump to conclusions about the attacker on Sunday morning. “We pray for those brutally attacked in Orlando,” Ryan tweeted. “While we must learn more about the attacker, the victims & families will not be forgotten.”…

Five Things that The Republican Party Gets Totally Wrong about Race

While there is no denying that Donald Trump has had a terrible past couple of weeks with his dogged focus on some obscure federal judge in San Diego, I think Trump can right the ship, but he has an extremely narrow window to do so.

I will deal with that in a future column.

This controversy with Trump and the judge has revealed yet again how unprepared the Republican Party is, in the 21st century, in dealing with the issue of race, especially, relative to the Black community.

I have advised some of the biggest names in politics, business, sports, and entertainment on racial and other career threatening crises.

The first thing I have noticed with Republicans dealing with the issue of race is that they deny that whatever happened was racist. Why does this happen? Well, that’s an easy question to answer. Republicans are surrounded by White staffers, who think they know more about the Black community than Black people do. And I’m speaking from personal experience, as recently as last month.

Memo to Republicans # 1:

Never, I mean never say to the media, “I am not a racist.” That means you are losing the argument. Remember former President Nixon’s famous rejoinder, “I am not a crook?”

Again, for purposes of this column, I am not specifically talking about Trump and the judge, but rather the Republican Party in general when it comes to issues that have a racial component.

There are absolutely no Blacks in positions of power or influence anywhere within the Republican Party. There are none within the Republican National Committee (RNC), National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), nor any of the presidential campaigns.

Republicans have all White advisors and consultants trying to advise them on racial matters impacting the Black community, and they can’t understand why things keep blowing up in their faces. Duhhhhh!

Memo to Republicans # 2:

Don’t just go out and grab the first Black person you see and come back to me and say, “Now we have a Black, so please shut up.”

Many Black Republicans are whiter than their White counterparts, and this is by design. Many Black Republicans have absolutely no connection to the Black community; nor any skill set to put them in a position of advising the party on racial matters.

The Republican Party wants Blacks around them who they are “comfortable” with, not Blacks who will speak their mind and who know what the hell they are talking about.

You have Black Republicans being pimped by the media to constantly denounce Donald Trump, because they are media whores who are looking for the proverbial pat on the head from “massa,” but these same Black Republicans have laryngitis when it comes to the lack of “real” Black staffers, consultants, and advisors within the party.

I have no record of these same Blacks speaking about how White our upcoming national convention is going to be, how there has been little, if any, opportunities for Black Republicans to do business with the upcoming convention. Seems like you have more opportunity to do business with the convention if you are a Black Democrat—go figure.

How can you have a White twenty-something writing a speech about civil rights or voting rights for a Republican leader to give? I am not exaggerating, this is actually happening.

The party needs a plethora of “real” Blacks who have a connection to the Black community, who understand messaging in terms of communications, and who have personal relationships with the media, and understand how to connect all of these into a coherent strategy.

The party has virtually no Black surrogates who can push back in the media against all the Black liberals on MSNBC and CNN, so a lie that is repeated enough, becomes the truth.

So, while many in the party are speaking out against Trump (some of it is well deserved and warranted), I wish these same people would be just as vehement in fighting against the radical liberal agenda that President Obama and Hillary Clinton have been promoting.

And to my Black Republican friends, I don’t think all of your denunciations of some of Trump’s comments are not legitimate, but where are your voices on other issues that impact the Black community relative to the party?

What have you done to get more Black students internships with our congressional members? What have you done to promote legislative solutions to address issues of particular concern to Blacks (access to capital for Black entrepreneurs, aide to HBCUs, promotion of school choice, etc.)?

And finally, Memo # 3:

To my Black Republicans, always remember, when all is said and done, there is more said than done.

Florida Responds to Orlando Massacre

Clarion Project asked residents of Florida for their thoughts on the Orlando terror attack. We were inundated with replies. Here’s a sample.

Clarion Project is determined to be the focal point for discussion on Islamism. In this case we turned to our subscribers in Florida to get their thoughts following the June 12 terror attack on the Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

We received dozens of replies. Below are just a few.

We thank you all for your replies.

Please continue this conversation with us – wherever you live.

This is another horrific terrorist attack by a radical Islamic coward. Our thoughts and prayers to all the victims and their families. I would have liked to have seen someone or many people in that nightclub to have carried a legally concealed weapon. The outcome on this tragedy would have been very different… Then these animals who perpetrate such an act of hatred might start taking notice. We are not going to be sitting ducks for you to kill as many as you like. We are Americans, and we will protect our own from scumbags like you. We will stop you!

Anytime something like this happens, I think please don’t let it be Muslim. Let it be an American not that that is any better when lives are lost. How many lives need to be lost before we rein in the guns and the gun mentality.

The next thing I think about is what gives anyone the right to take anyone’s life?  The proliferation of guns in our society is so wrong.  Guns do not make us safer obviously it gives the wrong people power to do what they wish. And so often these killings are in the name of religion.  No religion condones killing, what are they thinking?

And unchecked anger, we need to bring back civility and politeness toward each other.  Kindness needs to be taught in our society as well as equality.

L.

Once again we have a Muslim declaring allegiance to the Islamic State and committing an atrocity in the name of Islam. This person was on the FBI’s radar in the past. Why wasn’t he dealt with then? He was stopped by the police having a weapon. Why wasn’t he arrested then? Where did he get his weapon? It certainly wasn’t legal for him to have it. This is what gun-free zones bring. If someone had been armed in the club, even if they were security, the loss of life could have been minimized. If Americans lose their right to carry firearms in public, as Hillary Clinton advocates, these massacres will be even more commonplace as only criminals will have guns.

Rick Parker

I believe the Orlando massacre is actually a hate terror crime and not associated with Islamic radicalism even though the shooter is Muslim. I don’t have all the facts but I don’t believe that it was coordinated with jihad or ISIS. Only the end result of the investigation will determine what is really the truth

S.S.

We need to join with Russia and seek UNITED NATIONS troops to enter Syria and destroy ISIS, then get out so as not to be perceived as occupiers.

J.R.H

I’m really getting tired of the use of the word alleged. Alleged terrorist. Alleged ISIS sympathizer. Alleged Islamic terror ties. Alleged stopped when he made the phone call and shouted alahu akbar as he was shooting. He is no longer alleged. He was an Islamic terrorist with proven ties to Islamic terrorist groups. He called 911 and professed his allegiance to ISIS and its leaders.

This wasn’t about a bigoted person that was upset because he saw 2 men kissing. This wasn’t about the LGBT community as a whole. This was about a person who is part of a religion that accepts, condones and encourages this type of behavior against those who will not conform to their ideologies.

Many religions around the world do not condone nor do they accept gays, yet we don’t see members of those religions going out and committing these types of atrocities.

This was not an anti gay act, this was an anti American act. We are for the most part a tolerant nation. We have the right to be what we want to be. People have the right to live their lives as they see fit. We don’t always agree with the choices others make, but we do not massacre those we do not agree with.

This act was a tragedy of epic proportions but even more so, it was a blatant attack against our nation by believers of an ideology masquerading as a peaceful religion.

It is a shame that we have a so called leader who refuses to acknowledge and accept that his chosen people are violent extremists who will wage jihad against anyone, anywhere and at any time to achieve their goal of converting the world to Islam.

Marvin Myers

Seems an Islamic terrorist attack.

Specifically targeted Gay community.

Already calls for tougher gun controls. I.E. background checks, Magazine limits, “Assault” weapons ban.

This is the future.

I wonder if the ‘club’ was a gun-free zone. Florida has easy CCL regs yet nobody in the club appears to have been armed.

E.P.

Obviously, the Orlando shooting is tragic.   This is not a gun control issue, as some are trying to make it out to be.  The problem is radical Islamic terrorism.  Let’s call it what it is and deal with it.

I was glad they brought out an Imam to speak at one of the press conferences, but he missed a great opportunity to say that the Muslim community stands with the rest of America in a fight against radical Islam.  We need to all be outspoken about our solidarity against and be able to target our enemy:  Radical Islam!

Donna R.

I live in Central Fl.

I would like to know why it took reportedly 3 hours for law enforcement to counterattack?

How many victims bled out and died in that time?

My local TV is full of officials patting each other on their backs praising each other for how well they responded. I would like them to use that energy to prevent attacks not spin them after they happen. Enough already.

Jerry Kenney

Absolutely of sick minds.. horrible.. my condolences to all family, friends of these poor victims..

Art Castro

Clearly, a business that has a “gun free zone” policy just found out what that really means for their slain and injured patrons. No question, but the club will probably be sued into oblivion by the survivors and relatives of the dead for lack of proper security. Obviously the Muslim murderer never read the sign on the door, all he cared about was killing Gay folks out for a good time. And he certainly succeeded, 50 confirmed dead, and over 50 more injured, some of whom may also succumb! This is a warning to us all, don’t disarm our country, rather we must arm ourselves, as this is probably the work of ISIS or its followers. Join the NRA and the CCRKBA (citizens committee for the right to keep and bear arms). Protect your God given right to self protection and support THE SECOND AMENDMENT! Remember, it’s the one guarantees the existence of all the others!

D.K.

Isis said they would attack Florida. An LGBT would be the most obvious target in the State with 350 people there. Muslims kill gays.

The National Guard might have been the only way to protect these folks who hate Christians but love Muslims.

J.M.

When a person buys an assault weapon, is there not any vetting in a bank of information somewhere in law enforcement opened to review of previous arrests?!!!  Especially like Omar

Mateen and 3 arrests?!

Could this have been prevented if we allowed more peaks than squeaks of privacy laws?!!!!

R.D.

So much for political correctness.

FBI had the perpetrator on their radar screen for almost three years and they drop the ball. Hail to the chiefs of political correctness. I would rather be safe than being wrong on keeping an eye on a suspected terrorist.

Steve A.

My heart is heavy with sorrow and compassion for the families and loved ones of those murdered in the Pulse night club.

I continue to pray for those being treated at ORMC and for the numerous others who are traumatized by this act of terrorism.

Joe M.

It’s about time we focus on the Muslim organizations that adhere to, and support, the Muslim Brotherhood ideology. That would include groups such as; CAIR, ISNA, ICNA, MSA, the USCMO and more. We can’t identify the “Bad Muslims” if we only focus on the majority of Muslims that are “Good Muslims.”

Roger G.

It’s time to ban assault weapons from being sold to the public. We need to hold gun dealers accountable for their sales. This won’t stop all crimes but will decrease the amount and put us, all of us, at a more causative place in society.

I pray and mourn those innocent souls which have been tragically lost.

Bomb Targets Beirut Bank That Froze Hezbollah Accounts

Why the Orlando Attack?

Hillary obtains critical mass, becomes first radioactive nominee

Hillary Clinton made history on Tuesday night as she received enough delegates to obtain critical mass and became our first radioactive nominee for President of the United States.

The historic moment was caught on camera by CNN as the Democratic candidate raised her arms triumphantly and emitted a blinding flash with the heat of a thousand suns.

Only CNN was able to continue broadcasting as Hillary Clinton was bathed in a radioactive glow. All other news organizations had their coverage interrupted by her electromagnetic pulse. People watching her victory speech on other television channels suddenly saw a test pattern followed by an alert from the Emergency Broadcast System that Hillary Clinton was now the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party for President of the United States. Viewers were then advised to either evacuate or shelter in place depending on their location.

Clinton supporters present at the historic event were giddy with excitement and radiation sickness. They quickly filled out absentee ballots for the November election before being rushed to emergency medical treatment centers.

For several weeks there had been rumors that Hillary Clinton was getting close to the magic number of delegates to maintain a nuclear reaction. Pundits began to take notice when she gave a victory speech after the New York primary while wearing a lead-lined $12,495 Giorgio Armani tweed jacket.

Messages congratulating Hillary Clinton on joining the nuclear club have been pouring in from around the world. Kim Jong Un of North Korea immediately withdrew his support for Republican nominee Donald Trump and endorsed Clinton. The mullahs of Iran also announced their support. Both countries believe that the glowing presumptive Democrat nominee may hold the secret to bigger and better nuclear weapons.

However not all countries were impressed by Clinton’s historic achievement. Russia demanded to know if Clinton misappropriated some of the uranium she sold them during her tenure as Secretary of State. Japan requested that Clinton not visit their country for fear of invoking memories of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as well as the danger of awakening Godzilla.

Despite Hillary’s victory, Bernie Sanders announced that he is not ready to quit the campaign. Bernie scientists still believe they will get enough delegates to transform their candidate into a “dirty bomb” at the convention.

What the Post won’t Post

The Washington Post, in its Standards and Ethics, committed itself to “an aggressive, responsible and fair pursuit of the truth,” so that the reader may be “without fear of any special interest,” but it has abandoned its pledge.  Pursuant to the recent wave of deadly Palestinian attacks against Israelis, the newspaper’s Beirut correspondent Hugh Naylor had utterly ignored the terror victims’ horrific sufferings and, instead, focused on the discomfort claimed by Palestinians.

Since September 2015, four hundred and forty-four Jews have been injured, some quite seriously, and 34 killed in what the Palestinians arrogantly call the Knife Intifada. There were also at least 851 stone-throwings and 337 petrol bomb-throwings, with many more that had gone unreported. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, a despicable, deceitful man who indoctrinates his people from toddlerhood to hate Jews, incites them to attack and kill civilians with an assortment of weaponry (knives, axes, meat cleavers, screwdrivers). This time the fabricated threat is that Israel was plotting to close down the Al Aqsa Mosque.

Israel is a democracy, however, and under Israeli rule, no religious group has ever been deprived of visiting its sacred sites. By contrast, during the 19 years of Jordanian rule, Jews were forbidden entry and Christians were under such strict government repression that they were forced to emigrate, severely dwindling the Christian population. When the Jews regained East Jerusalem in 1967, all but one of 35 synagogues were completely ravaged and used for stables and filth, Jewish tombstones on the Mount of Olives cemetery were broken, and holy books burned. More than mere vandalism or the allegation that they must destroy idols, these behaviors are intended to erase the memory and proof of existence of all religions but Islam.

The Washington Post and its journalists surely know that under Israeli rule, Muslims may practice Islam in Israel’s capital, Jerusalem, even though Muslims forcibly turn away Jews from their holiest site, the Temple Mount (location of the Al Aqsa Mosque). Israel also recently issued nearly 90,000 travel permits to Palestinians who wish to visit family and the Al Aqsa in deference to their religious month of Ramadan.  The Palestinians responded with another terrorist attack, killing four and injuring at least six, possibly 17, in an upscale Tel Aviv marketplace – another challenge for Israel’s compassion and the journalists who eschew the truth.

The identity of the recent Intifada victims are known, but Naylor ignores them. They include several young rabbis who left behind wives, each with several young children; one whose wife and one child were also critically injured; and a rabbi and his son who were both killed en route to celebrate his daughter’s wedding.

Others were a professor of economics, son of Holocaust survivors; a Palestinian woman returning home from work; a 21-year-old theater major who had just completed her national service; the owner of a recording studio, married with two daughters; a civil employee of the IDF, murdered during a celebratory weekend for a friend’s birthday; a 26-year-old law student; a taxi-driver; a nurse and mother of six, age 38; a 30-year-old pregnant woman; a youth-group leader, age 24; a member of the Golani Brigade and sole support of his mother and two siblings; and a young border policeman. The list could cover many pages, each name representing an empty space at a table, a beloved child or parent who will never return, the private tears and sorrow that the world never sees.

Foreign-born citizens were not invulnerable, and included an Iraqi silversmith, father of five; an Azerbaijani security guard; a Uzbekistani man who was shopping in a Judaica store; an Argentinean rabbi, teacher, husband and father of seven; an American peace activist, English teacher and father, who had marched for civil rights and desegregation in the American South with Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr.; a US citizen, age 18, who was planning to attend Rutgers University; an American West Point Academy graduate, 29, who had served in Iraq and Afghanistan, and was signed up for the Vanderbilt MBA Program, and whose wife was among the injured.  When the news hit, the callous Palestinians celebrated in the streets, but this was also not reported.

Neither did Naylor attempt to interview the new widows and widowers, the parents who must cope with the loss of a child, or the children traumatized by the loss of a parent.  He gives no voice to the severely injured, whose planned futures have suddenly been forever changed or erased, and who must now deal with significant and still life-threatening injuries, including severe and extensive burns from bus explosions. Rather, he confers with Palestinian Arabs, who speak of the inconvenience of additional checkpoints that turn a job commute into an “hour-long ordeal.” Indifferent to how their co-religionists are murdering Jews and Christians worldwide, they lament about the increased military patrols and raids, or having to face deserved, but non-existent, Jewish retaliation – and the Washington Post and its agents buy into their trifling presumption of victimhood.

Feigning ignorance of 3,000 years of continuous Jewish presence in Jerusalem, Naylor chooses to grumble about “Jewish settlements” in East Jerusalem, an inappropriate term for the indigenous people. But there were no “settlements” or “occupation” or sovereign Israel when the barbarians conducted deadly pogroms against Jews in 1920, ’21, ’29, and ’36. Naylor should know Israel became a sovereign nation in 1948, and these are not “settlements” but normal neighborhood development.  He should know that there was never a Palestinian people or nation prior to 1967, when these Arabs reinvented themselves after losing their aggressive war. He should also know that Judea and Samaria were called the West Bank for merely 19 years of Jordanian occupation, and that the Palestinians are settlers in a land that was never theirs.  He should know, and he does, but his objective is to market the Post’s view. The major obstacle to the creation of an independent Palestinian state has been and remains Palestinian. They have consistently refused peace and turned land offers into war zones for their eternal jihad, mandated in their Koran, intensified by their President and drilled home during their five daily prayer times.

Naylor parrots the Palestinian narrative that Israel captured and annexed Jerusalem during the 1967 Arab-Israeli War, but fails to make clear that this was the result of defending herself against the joint forces of five Arab countries whose purpose was to obliterate Israel. Military control of the West Bank was clearly the result of a defensive war: “International jurists generally draw a distinction between situations of “aggressive conquest” and territorial disputes that arise after a war of self-defense. Former State Department Legal Advisor Stephen Schwebel, who later headed the International Court of Justice in The Hague, wrote in 1970 regarding Israel’s case: “Where the prior holder of territory had seized that territory unlawfully (in this case, Jordan), the state which subsequently takes that territory in the lawful exercise of self-defense has, against the prior holder, better title.” For this reason, the term “occupation” is wrong and misleading. Israel did not decide to “occupy” the land; her presence resulted from a war executed by Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, and backed by Russian supplies to Kuwait, Algeria, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.

In defense of attacking Israelis with knives, Naylor falsely claims that Palestinians face discrimination in public spending on infrastructure and zoning restrictions, but, to repeat, Judea and Samaria have not been annexed or occupied by Israel. In fact, Israel has withdrawn from about 94% of the territory it captured in 1967. Naylor needs to consider that no other group resorts to such violence during times of inconvenience, and that this behavior is inherent in the Islamic ideology and culture, dictating violence not merely in Israel but throughout the world, where killing is done in the name of Allah, not Jesus, not Jehovah or Moses or Buddha or any other deities.  The hate is embedded in the collective consciousness of Islam, along with their jubilation at bloodshed.

It is the Washington Post and other biased newspapers as well as BDS groups on American campuses that provide a platform for Palestinians to whine about vague (never specific) regulations, deliberately ignoring the fact that these Palestinians are not citizens of Israel at all and have no claim to citizenship rights. Their actual position is that they are under military law administered by the Israel Defense Forces Central Command in disputed territory, and they remain so because of their unwillingness to end violence against Israel. Palestinians have had many opportunities, but refused to negotiate a final settlement for a peaceful future for all.

And the options for Palestinians are many: to recognize and work to overcome the directives of hate and death in the Koran; to start teaching the truth about their history to all their citizens, beginning with the children; to stop living under the inhumane threat of Sharia law; to cease the constant incitement through their mosques, schools and media; and to learn and accept how to live in peace with non-Muslims.

Throughout their Koran, they are instructed to follow in the footsteps of their prophet – to kill Jews and Christians for the ultimate goal of Islamic world domination. Their goal is to destroy Israel, implement Sharia worldwide and to re-establish the global Islamic State (caliphate).

o9:0  JIHAD “Jihad means to war against non-Muslims and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada, signifying warfare to establish the religion. (1) “Fighting is prescribed for you” (Koran 2:216); “Slay them wherever you find them” (Koran 4:89); “Fight the idolators utterly” (Koran 9:36).

The entire world is at risk and the Washington Post is the spokesman for savagery.

Black Lives Matter boycotts Big Sunscreen for ‘racist discrimination’ [+Video]

TAMPA BAY, Florida – Members of the local Black Lives Matter chapter (BLM) are calling for a boycott of local businesses that sell merchandise designed for white people, such as sunscreen lotions and related skincare products. According to the organization, the sunscreen industry has a history of glamorizing white culture through advertisements that show only light-skinned people, while completely excluding the people of color.

Rachel Dolezal the NAACP leader outed as WHITE

A suntanned Rachel Dolezal former NAACP leader outed as white.

“Sunscreen commercials always portray wealthy white people lazying about on clean beaches or expensive motorboats that minorities just can’t afford,” says a statement released by Tampa Bay BLM. “When was the last time Big Sunscreen used non-white models in their advertisements? Why aren’t they ever showing an upper-class black family enjoying the good life on a sunny beach? The sunscreen industry has always been catering to white privilege; as such, it remains one of the last remaining vestiges of racism in our nation’s economy.”

Example of subliminal racism:

Angry BLM protesters picketed sunscreen aisles in several area supermarkets over the weekend, preventing shoppers from purchasing sunscreen products and claiming that anyone who patronized a sunscreen-selling retailer, even while buying unrelated food items, supported systemic racism and was guilty of oppressing racial and ethnic minorities.

Media reports of the controversy have helped to spread the sentiment to other American cities, with more and more BLM activists calling for a nation-wide boycott of bigoted skin care products that peddle subliminal racism by suggesting that white skin should stay white.

According to the BLM, this is now turning into an urgent problem on a global scale. “For years Big Sunscreen has been advertising its racist standards for whiteness throughout the world, while paying billions to avoid scrutiny of government regulating agencies. This must stop immediately, or else every sunscreen-selling store will become a fair target of legitimate looting. No justice, no peace,” the BLM statement said.

Hindenburg reporter summoned to describe crash of Target [+Video]

Following multiple comparisons of Target’s recent $10 billion stock crash to the Hindenburg disaster, our editors asked a renown necromancer and psychic worker, Miss Courvoisier, to channel the voice of Herbert Morrison, a radio announcer best known for his dramatic report of the tragic crash of Hindenburg airship in 1937.

Miss Courvoisier, who works the astral from noon to 8:00 p.m. from her boardwalk psychic booth next to a liquor store on Coney Island, happily agreed, as she has done in the past. For a 20 dollar bill with the face of Harriet Tubman on it, she quickly recorded Morrison’s voice with a built-in mic on her boombox.

“It was easy,” she said. “The astral is a lonely place, so the dead often wish to make contact with the living regardless of their views on transgender bathrooms. This video with Herb Morrison’s Hindenburg reporting also helped.”

Below is the transcript of the audiotape.

HERB MORRISON: Target practically standing still now – they’ve dropped ropes from corporate offices; and they’ve been taken a hold of down on the field by a number of men, women, and transgendered restroom visitors. The media coverage had slacked up a little bit… The marked-down prices on rainbow flags are holding Target just enough to keep it from…

Target’s stock has fallen 20 percent – from $84 per share to $67 per share! It’s burst into flames and it’s falling, it’s crashing! Watch it! Watch it! Get out of the way! It’s crashing terrible! Oh, my! Get out of the way, please! It’s burning and bursting into flames and the… and it’s falling on the board of directors. And all the shoppers agree that this is terrible; this is the one of the worst catastrophes in the world.

Target has just lost $10 billion of the overall shareholder value! It’s a terrific crash, ladies and gentlemen. It’s smoke, and it’s in flames now; and the stock is crashing to the ground, not quite to the corporate headquarters. Oh, the humanity! And all the investors screaming around here. Ah! It’s… it… it’s a… ah! I… I can’t talk, ladies and gentlemen.

Honest, it’s just laying there, a mass of smoking wreckage, and everybody can hardly breathe and talk… I’m sorry. Honest, I can hardly breathe. I’m going to step inside where I cannot see it. Listen folks, I’m going to have to stop for a minute, because I’ve lost my voice… This is the worst thing I’ve ever witnessed.

In summary, just as the Hindenburg disaster ended the era of airships, Target’s tragic demise brought an abrupt end to the era of political correctness in the corporate world, which had already begun a decline into obsolescence, largely due to the reckless rhetoric of Donald Trump on his way to America’s highest office.

The Government Has Gone to Nutsville

Now that the federal government is officially no longer operating under the prudent and inspired guidance of the United States Constitution, matters have gone awry in a rather huge way.  The old adage if you move your feet you lose your seat, has been fully enacted in regards to government operations and social norms.

The United States Constitution plainly states that “We the People” of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Article 1 Section 1 states – All legislative powers herein granted shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.  Unfortunately, thanks to years of the increasingly ignorant masses, our republic has evolved from a system government that at least made an effort to operate under the premise of protecting American interests into a dangerous enemy of those of us born in this republic turned mob ruled democracy.

The president has gotten in on this horrible trend by acting like a one-man band government entity that legislates through an executive order avalanche which has placed unparalleled levels of economic, moral, and military dangers against our nation.  President Obama has done more to protect and defend his fellow Muslims and their interests in one year than for the United States over eight years.

The so-called negotiated agreement with Iran where secretary of state John Kerry bent over and put Israel, the United States and other non-Muslim nations in potential mortal danger is a perfect example of where Obama’s heart is and who’s interest he is ready to protect.

Our constitutionally limited republic concepts, including government being of, by and for the people has literally and unofficially been replaced with a trashy governmental concept of by and for the progressive elites.  They elitists wish to demolish your right to worship Christ, own firearms, and even to teach your children the truth, regarding our nation’s history, the correct biological identity of human beings, and of course our republic’s founding documents.  The progressive elites also hope to snuff out of existence the fundamental roots of America’s greatness, so that would accept her desired decline and your dependence upon government from cradle to grave.

Along with other horrendous decisions made in the year 1913, the addition of the seventeenth amendment to the United States Constitution helped open the door to the ushering in of an elitist portion of government who’s senatorial participants like John McCain usually do not govern on behalf of our interests.  It is their mission to hold onto power, even through compromise with enemies both foreign and domestic, just like president Obama even though such actions place our republic in danger of dismissal from greatness amongst nations.

In my opinion, there is no logical reason why President Obama and Hillary Clinton should not be brought up on charges ranging from traitor to reckless endangerment of the United States.  The president swore to uphold the constitution of the United States, but has done everything imaginable to undermine the constitution and every good aspect of our republic.

Obama has allowed the bringing into our nation thousands of Muslims, (many of whom were picked by Isis leaders) unvetted and are for waiting orders to bring harm to Americans and our property.  No decent well meaning president would knowingly dare stand for the admittance of individuals who are governed by a code of ultimate destruction of those who are not members of their Islamic-sharia law political/religious dogma.

Also, Obama’s effort to join with those who are bigoted gender impersonators who use the insane juggernaut of political correctness to discredit God and defile his creation of man and woman is wicked and treasonous against truth, reality and society.  Parents should no-longer allow their children to be taught in government schools or anywhere that marriage between a man and a woman is obsolete.

Not long ago, Massachusetts legislators passed a bill that does away with biological gender identity.  That is evidence of government gone to nutsville and is not coming back to reality until we the taxpayer-bosses demonstrate without ceasing that we will no longer live below our God given call to greatness.

One final example of government gone to nutsville is the horrible disregard of the safety of law abiding citizens in San Jose, California.  The police department of San Jose issued a statement saying “they refused to protect Trump supporters being attacked by pro illegal immigrant-anti American thugs because they didn’t want to inflame the socialist anti-American protesters.”

OK, then I say to all law abiding sovereign-citizens of San Jose and throughout America, say your prayers, go and get your legal firearm protection. Then begin calling for the dismissal of officials in that city and anywhere officials do not believe in protecting “We the People” from enemies both foreign and domestic.  Wake up America, before it is too late.

Capitalism Is Good for the Poor by Steven Horwitz

Critics frequently accuse markets and capitalism of making life worse for the poor. This refrain is certainly common in the halls of left-leaning academia as well as in broader intellectual circles. But like so many other criticisms of capitalism, this one ignores the very real, and very available, facts of history.

Nothing has done more to lift humanity out of poverty than the market economy. This claim is true whether we are looking at a time span of decades or of centuries. The number of people worldwide living on less than about two dollars per day today is less than half of what it was in 1990. The biggest gains in the fight against poverty have occurred in countries that have opened up their markets, such as China and India.

If we look over the longer historical period, we can see that the trends today are just the continuation of capitalism’s victories in beating back poverty. For most of human history, we lived in a world of a few haves and lots of have-nots. That slowly began to change with the advent of capitalism and the Industrial Revolution. As economic growth took off and spread throughout the population, it created our own world in the West in which there are a whole bunch of haves and a few have-more-and-betters.

For example, the percentage of American households below the poverty line who have basic appliances has grown steadily over the last few decades, with poor families in 2005 being more likely to own things like a clothes dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, or air conditioner than the average household was in 1971. And consumer items that didn’t even exist back then, such as cell phones, were owned by half of poor households in 2005 and are owned by a substantial majority of them today.

Capitalism has also made poor people’s lives far better by reducing infant and child mortality rates, not to mention maternal death rates during childbirth, and by extending life expectancies by decades.

Consider, too, the way capitalism’s engine of growth has enabled the planet to sustain almost 7 billion people, compared to 1 billion in 1800. As Deirdre McCloskey has noted, if you multiply the gains in consumption to the average human by the gain in life expectancy worldwide by 7 (for 7 billion as compared to 1 billion people), humanity as a whole is better off by a factor of around 120. That’s not 120 percent better off, but 120 times better off since 1800.

The competitive market process has also made education, art, and culture available to more and more people. Even the poorest of Americans, not to mention many of the global poor, have access through the Internet and TV to concerts, books, and works of art that were exclusively the province of the wealthy for centuries.

And in the wealthiest countries, the dynamics of capitalism have begun to change the very nature of work. Where once humans toiled for 14 hours per day at backbreaking outdoor labor, now an increasing number of us work inside in climate-controlled comfort. Our workday and workweek have shrunk thanks to the much higher value of labor that comes from working with productive capital. We spend a much smaller percentage of our lives working for pay, whether we’re rich or poor. And even with economic change, the incomes of the poor are much less variable, as they are not linked to the unpredictable changes in weather that are part and parcel of a predominantly agricultural economy long since disappeared.

Think of it this way: the fabulously wealthy kings of old had servants attending to their every need, but an impacted tooth would likely kill them. The poor in largely capitalist countries have access to a quality of medical care and a variety and quality of food that the ancient kings could only dream of.

Consider, too, that the working poor of London 100 years ago were, at best, able to split a pound of meat per week among all of their children, which were greater in number than the two or three of today. In addition, the whole family ate meat once a week on Sunday, the one day the man of the household was home for dinner. That was meat for a week.

Compare that to today, when we worry that poor Americans are too easily able to afford a meal with a quarter pound of meat in it every single day for less than an hour’s labor. Even if you think that capitalism has made poor people overweight, that’s a major accomplishment compared to the precapitalist norm of constant malnutrition and the struggle even 100 years ago for the working poor to get enough calories.

The reality is that the rich have always lived well historically, as for centuries they could commandeer human labor to attend to their every need. In a precapitalist world, the poor had no hope of upward mobility or of relief from the endless physical drudgery that barely kept them alive.

Today, the poor in capitalist countries live like kings, thanks mostly to the freeing of labor and the ability to accumulate capital that makes that labor more productive and enriches even the poorest. The falling cost of what were once luxuries and are now necessities, driven by the competitive market and its profit and loss signals, has brought labor-saving machines to the masses. When profit-seeking and innovation became acceptable behavior for the bourgeoisie, the horn of plenty brought forth its bounty, and even the poorest shared in that wealth.

Once people no longer needed permission to innovate, and once the value of new inventions was judged by the improvements they made to the lives of the masses in the form of profit and loss, the poor began to live lives of comfort and dignity.

These changes are not, as some would say, about technology. After all, the Soviets had great scientists but could not channel that knowledge into material comfort for their poor. And it’s not about natural resources, which is obvious today as resource-poor Hong Kong is among the richest countries in the world thanks to capitalism, while Venezuelan socialism has destroyed that resource-rich country.

Inventions only become innovations when the right institutions exist to make them improve the lives of the masses. That is what capitalism did and continues to do every single day. And that’s why capitalism has been so good for the poor.

Consider, finally, what happened when the Soviets decided to show the film version of The Grapes of Wrath as anticapitalist propaganda. In the novel and film, a poor American family is driven from their Depression-era home by the Dust Bowl. They get in their old car and make a horrifying journey in search of a better life in California. The Soviets had to stop showing the film after a short period because the Russian audiences were astonished that poor Americans were able to own a car.

Even anticapitalist propaganda can’t help but provide evidence that contradicts its own argument. The historical truth is clear: nothing has done more for the poor than capitalism.

The Brainwashing and Brainwashed Media and its End Results

By Wallace Bruschweiler and William Palumbo –

Is the American population at large capable of independent thought anymore?  With politics going the way they are today, it’s a question worth asking.

As the 2016 election season progresses, it becomes more and more apparent on a daily basis that a vast majority of Americans on both the left and the right require their news to be ruminated, masticated, hashed and rehashed prior to consumption.  Instead of using their brains to consume and synthesize facts concerning their country’s politics and politicians, Americans – more often than not – have consigned themselves to a state of cerebral laziness.

For such people, what the news says is the truth, period.  Should you be mentally engaged reading this right now, “sheep” may come to mind.

Let’s take, for example, the latest kerfuffle involving Donald Trump and a certain judge.  If you were to gauge public opinion by what you see and hear on the news networks, you would conclude that Donald Trump has been outed as a racist after criticizing the judge, Gonzalo Curiel, who is presiding over the Trump University case.

Yet according to the judge’s own CV, Curiel is affiliated with the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA).  In July 2015, this organization issued a press release boasting of its intentions to target ultimately Trump’s business interests.

The judge’s flagrant inability to rule impartially is even acknowledged by former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, who wrote in defense of Trump:  “These circumstances, while not necessarily conclusive, at least raise a legitimate question to be considered.”

If you ever find yourself wondering why your friends, family, colleagues or peers cannot digest a basic factual political truth despite being otherwise intelligent, consider this: intelligence has little chance in overpowering regular and systematic brainwashing.

On the right, conservative pundits in the media have conditioned millions of loyal listeners and viewers to hang on and eat their every word.  Their daily appearances amount to a priestly sermon for far too many conservatives, and it is absorbed, sans critique, as Gospel.  Should the fickle media gods decide to turn on an issue or individual, however threadbare their reasoning, they surely bring the majority of their jelly-headed listeners.

On the left, the mainstream media has conditioned millions to selectively disregard inconvenient episodes (i.e. Benghazi, State Dept. emails, etc.).  This intellectually dishonest environment creates lopsided narratives: e.g., despite Hillary (and Bill) Clinton’s seemingly endless scandals, a few malcontents who attended Trump University overshadow Benghazi, the Arab Spring, the Clinton Foundation, Bill’s philandering, mysterious deaths, and decades of ongoing lies to the American public.

What happens when a country’s citizens lose their ability to think for themselves?  The media and political class are applying the methods used successfully in the past by Communist regimes and Goebbels; they mold and shape minds to accept things uncritically and unconditionally.  What is presented today as supposedly newsworthy are politically pre-selected events.  This creates the inevitable end result of cerebral torpor and mass-media conditioning.

Come November 8, 2016, we unfortunately will see if the brainwashing was too widespread and too deep to be overcome.  Amen.

VIDEO: Hispanic Republican FL State Senator attacks Trump’s rhetoric calls him a ‘racist’

Florida State Senator Rene Garcia (R-District 38), Chairman of Board of Hispanic Caucus Chairs (BHCC), is leading the attack against Donald Trump, who has questioned the impartiality of Judge Gonzalo Curiel.

Perhaps it is time to connect-the-dots on this effort to characterize Donald Trump as a racist. In Saul Alinsky’s book Rules for Radicals, RULE 5 states: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”

Why discredit Donald Trump? Answer: Because Trump’s rhetoric resonates with voters.

The BHCC in a press release warns:

This toxic rhetoric is neither productive nor beneficial to the national election-year dialogue, and unjustifiably serve to use Mr. Trump’s newly found political influence to put unwarranted pressure on a member of the federal judiciary to influence the outcome of a private civil matter.  Additionally, this nation was built on the contributions and advancements of many diverse cultures and ethnicities, to forget this is to forget what makes our nation exceptional. We compel Mr. Trump to not forget this significant part of our history, and we encourage him to retract his statements.

If you go to the Board of Hispanic Caucus Chairs website you will find the profile of Chairman (Senator) Rene Garcia with a quick link to the National Council of La Raza.

A Discover the Networks profile on La Raza (The Race) states:

Behind the respectable front of the National Council of La Raza lies the real agenda of the La Raza movement, the agenda that led to those thousands of illegal immigrants in the streets of American cities, waving Mexican flags, brazenly defying our laws, and demanding concessions.

Key among the secondary organizations is the radical racist group Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA), one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a racist nation out of the American West.

One of America’s greatest strengths has always been taking in immigrants from cultures around the world, and assimilating them into our country as Americans. By being citizens of the U.S. we are Americans first, and only, in our national loyalties.

This is totally opposed by MEChA for the hordes of illegal immigrants pouring across our borders, to whom they say:

“Chicano is our identity; it defines who we are as people. It rejects the notion that we…should assimilate into the Anglo-American melting pot…Aztlan was the legendary homeland of the Aztecas … It became synonymous with the vast territories of the Southwest, brutally stolen from a Mexican people marginalized and betrayed by the hostile custodians of the Manifest Destiny.” (Statement on University of Oregon MEChA Website, Jan. 3, 2006)

MEChA isn’t at all shy about their goals, or their views of other races. Their founding principles are contained in these words in “El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan” (The Spiritual Plan for Aztlan):

“In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal gringo invasion of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlan from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny. … Aztlan belongs to those who plant the seeds, water the fields, and gather the crops and not to the foreign Europeans. … We are a bronze people with a bronze culture. Before the world, before all of North America, before all our brothers in the bronze continent, we are a nation, we are a union of free pueblos, we are Aztlan. For La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada.”

That closing two-sentence motto is chilling to everyone who values equal rights for all. It says: “For The Race everything. Outside The Race, nothing.”

Dennis Michael Lynch links Judge Curiel to La Raza (Spanish for “The Race”) in the below video:

Jim Kouri in an article titled Trump’s Judge Gonzalo Curiel is a suspected lawbreaker reports:

What they [the media] failed to cover is the fact Curiel broke the very laws he swore to uphold and enforce. By this own admission, Judge Curiel helped an illegal alien get a scholarship to an American university, thereby aiding and abetting a lawbreaker.

Judge Curiel has been praised for such alleged illegal actions that were used by the Bush administration to arrest and incarcerate U.S. businessmen who were frequently targeted by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement directorate of the Homeland Security Department.

In Sufficient evidence exists to require Judge Curiel to recuse himself from any litigation involving Trump Sierra Rayne states:

The most important argument in favor of forcing U.S. district judge Gonzalo Curiel to recuse himself from the Trump University lawsuits was published today by the Conservative Treehouse.

The Treehouse linked to a copy of Judge Curiel’s “United States Senate: Committee on the Judiciary – Questionnaire for Judicial Nominees” in which, on page four of his response, Judge Curiel states that he is a “Life-time Member” of the “Hispanic National Bar Association [HNBA].”

The HNBA made public a press release in July 2015 that called for the following actions against Donald Trump and his enterprises:

“The HNBA calls for a boycott of all of Trump business ventures, including golf courses, hotels, and restaurants. We salute NBC/Universal, Univision and Macy’s for ending their association with Trump, and we join them in standing up against bigotry and racist rhetoric. Other businesses and corporations should follow the lead of NBC/Universal, Univision and Macy’s and take similar actions against Donald Trump’s business interests.”

[ … ]

By being a lifetime member of the HNBA, and via the HNBA’s press release making critical statements specifically against Trump while also calling for a general boycott of Trump’s businesses, there are reasonable concerns that Judge Curiel is acting as “a judge in his own cause” (i.e., the “cause” of harming Trump’s business interests).  At the very least, Judge Curiel’s “conduct or behaviour may give rise to a suspicion that he is not impartial … because of his friendship with a party” such as the HNBA, which has called for open economic warfare against Trump.

This Is Why Snoop Lion Should Write, Direct and Produce Black Movies

Last week rapper Snoop Dogg put up an epic video rant on his Instagram. In the verbiage that only Snoop can conjugate, he said in no uncertain terms that people should not watch the 21st century remake of the epic TV miniseries Roots that aired on The History Channel last week.

I must say that I thoroughly agree with Snoop Dogg’s position one hundred percent, though I can do without the raw language.

Roots: The Saga of an American Family was a book written by famed author Alex Haley in 1976. In the book, Haley traced his ancestral roots back to The Gambia in West Africa. He was able to trace his family lineage all the way back Kunta Kinte.

Kinte was captured as a teenager in The Gambia and ultimately sold into slavery and brought to the U.S. The book was turned into a blockbuster TV miniseries back in 1977.

The remaking is what led Snoop to do his now viral video on Instagram. His position was that he didn’t want to see any more movies about slavery. “Where are all the movies about Black success?” Snoop asked.

I totally agree with Snoop. I refused to watch the remake of Roots. I was watching my N.B.A. basketball playoffs.

Following Snoop’s rant, TV personality Roland Martin addressed the subject on his news program on TV ONE. The one point that I do agree with Roland is that more Blacks need to step up and be willing to help finance the production of some of these movies about successful Blacks. That’s a legitimate challenge that Snoop should address.

Martin launched into this tirade about Jews “never” getting tired of movies about the Holocaust. He is way off base with his analysis.

Martin and those who agree with him are missing a few, very germane points. I mean can any one name a Black person who has financed, executive produced, produced, directed, or distributed a major movie or TV program about the Holocaust? You can’t, because it hasn’t happened.

But most movies about slavery have non-Blacks in major positions of control or power; even though there may be a Black producer or director attached to the project.

I am not aware of one movie about slavery where Blacks have had total control of the process from beginning to end.

The movie “Amistad” (1997) was written by David Franzoni, directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Debbi Allen (Black), Steven Spielberg and Colin Wilson. John Williams composed the musical score.

“12 Years a Slave” (2013) was based on the life of former slave Solomon Northup and it was directed by Steve McQueen (Black) and produced by Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Bill Pohlad, Steve McQueen (Black), Arnon Milchan, and Anthony Katagas. John Ridley (Black) wrote the screenplay and Fox Searchlight Pictures distributed the movie.

The 2016 version of “Roots” was written by Lawrence Konner, Mark Rosenthal, Alison McDonald (Black), and Charles Murray (Black). The four-part miniseries was directed by Bruce Beresford, Phillip Noyce, Thomas Carter (Black), and Mario Van Peebles (Black).

Now, let’s look at a few of the top Holocaust movies.

“The Diary of Anne Frank” (1959) was based on the writings of Anne Frank and directed by George Stevens and written by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett and distributed by Twentieth Century Fox.

“Schindler’s List” (1993) was written by Steven Zaillian and produced by Steven Spielberg, Gerald R. Molen, and Branko Lustig. Steven Spielberg also directed the movie and “Schindler’s List” was distributed by Universal Pictures.

“The Pianist” (2002) was based on the book by Wladyslaw Szpilman and directed by Roman Polanski, who also earned production credits. Robert Benmussa and Alain Sarde were also producers on the movie and it was distributed by Focus Features.

Do you notice anything that stands out to you here? There are no Blacks in any position of control or authority in any of these movies. The Jewish community tells their history through their own eyes and from their own perspective.

Remember, the Chinese sculptor of the statue of Dr. Martin Luther King on the National Mall in Washington, DC, Lei Yixin, was “forced” to redo the statute because some felt that the original rendering made King seem too “confrontational.”

Confrontational to whom? To this day, I have refused to visit King’s statue on the Mall.

Yixin was chosen at the expense of very capable American sculptors, both Black and White. The U.S. government also allowed Yixin to bring Chinese workers into the country to assemble the sculpture. They were literally paid slave wages, but I digress.

The U.S. government spent over $120 million on the King sculptor and the money went to China and Chinese workers.

The Jewish community would never allow something like this to happen to anything dealing with their own community.

So, to Roland Martin and his supporters, let’s stop being a slave to slavery.

Remembering the Patriotic Life of a TEA Party Leader

The South Florida political arena has a huge void with the recent passing of Tea Party Fort Lauderdale (TPFL) co-founder, Danita Kilkullen. TPFL, the longest running Tea Party in the U.S., made world news in 2009, having been featured in the European Times Magazine, after its formation.

Long before illegal immigration became a topic of conversation, Danita attended rallies and protests with FLIMEN, Floridians for immigration enforcement, educating the public of the ramifications of open borders and the loss of American jobs.

Many political careers were launched with the backing of her organization, TPFL, including Allen West, and Marco Rubio, who understood the importance and loyalty of her followers and that an endorsement by them could be a ticket to Washington. However, if the endorsed politician reneged on his promises of conservatism, constitutional principles and limited government, she and her followers had no mercy and would work tirelessly to remove him from office. Marco Rubio was one such example and Florida Tea Parties should receive the credit due for ending his future in politics. After Rubio’s betrayal on amnesty, Danita insisted that every candidate should be thoroughly vetted and that local politics was the epicenter of concern, for local politicians inevitably end up in Washington.

Veteran’s affairs have always been an item of importance for Danita, whose son served honorably in the military. Concerned Veterans for America and Billy and Karen Vaughn, parents of Seal Team 6 hero, Aaron Vaughn, who lost his life during Extortion 17, in Afghanistan, were frequent spokespersons at her TPFL events.

Danita and TPFL also have worked closely with Tom Trento and The United West, a group that defends the West and Israel from the kinetic and cultural onslaught of Shariah Islam, and have organized a number of rallies, including one defending Israel in the Pro-Hamas Demonstration in Ft. Lauderdale in 2008, which became quite discomforting and violent when Muslims rushed the pro-Israel demonstrators. She also organized a protest against the Islamic Fundraising Dinner for Palestine in conjunction with The United West, which many believe was a fundraising effort for Hamas and clandestine jihad activities. Danita firmly believed in fighting anti-Semitism and the BDS movement against the state of Israel.

When Danita, a devout Christian, learned that a local middle school boy was reprimanded by his teacher for reading his Bible during library time and subsequently denied the privilege of reading it, she organized a protest in front of the school during student pick up time. As a result of this successful protest, the school backed away from their stance. Another demonstration was organized by Danita at FAU, when a professor gave a class assignment to write the name of Jesus on a piece of paper and ‘stomp on it.’ Pastors Dozier and Boykin participated and she recruited a group of approximately 70 people to come with signs denouncing the professor’s outrageous assignment.

Whether it was the School Board or the County Commissioners, Danita led the effort to challenge their edicts. She organized a group, this writer included, to challenge the School Board’s implementation of the Common Core standards, which pandered to Islam, promoted revised math standards, (which even confused adults) and included cultural Marxist influences in literature. The County Commissioners have always been challenged when Danita and TPFL show up to their meetings to question their new edits subliminally promoting Agenda 21 or raising taxes for the home owners and businesses of Broward County.

The light of Danita’s efforts will live on for all of her diverse followers, Caucasian, Hispanic, African American, Christian and Jew, for she truly believed in the truth embraced by liberty, freedom, justice and kindness. She had the tenacity, stamina and fighting effort reminiscent of the heroes that founded and shaped our country, for she loved our country dearly and fought to uphold its constitutional principles to protect future generations from the demise of tyranny.
