How Do You Eat a RINO. . .?

What was your take-away from the recent 3-week House Speaker battle?

I learned that America’s Silent Majority is silent…no longer. I learned that, when we work together, we are a Force like no other, and that the “Elite” are not as elite as they like to think. Actually, they are much smaller in numbers than we were led to believe by the lying media. I learned how to eat a RINO, one bite at a time.

The Marxist Left always says, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”  In the news cycle, you can see the power of this plan, of this agenda.

The lies and maneuvers of the Speaker of the House election. The extraordinary convenience of Hamas genocide on Jews. Despicable behavior by the Marxist Left, supporting Hamas actions and making excuses for them. That Israel is the Bad Guy.

All these events create severe Crisis in our country, and the World. The stage is set for WWIII.

The World, as a result, now knows exactly what the Marxist Left thinks of We the People. The people of America, and the people of the World, have had enough!

There are over 20+ food plants that caught fire and were destroyed in 2022. Are all these food plant fires a coincidence? Are they planned out? It is estimated that these fires have reduced our food supply by 2%. Doesn’t sound like much, but that much does impact our fragile food supply chain. No, Klaus Schwab, (Chairman of the World Economic Forum) we will not eat your bugs. You can have them.

Can someone tell me what is the difference between killing a baby before it is born, and killing a baby after it is born?  Putting baby killing in perspective, Hamas just finished what Planned Parenthood started, the death of babies.  Abortion is baby killing, how about we call it what it is, and stop letting the Left continue driving the agenda and defining our words?

Around the world, things are changing as the people who believe in their country stand up for Freedom. In the Argentina election, a come-from-behind candidate, populist Javier Melie, is in a run-off election with the man who destroyed Argentina. Don’t let that election be stolen. The interesting thing about that election is that Polls opened at 8 a.m. (1100 GMT) and close, 10 hours later. Voting is conducted with paper ballots, making the count unpredictable, but initial results were expected around four hours after polls close. I hope Milei wins the run-off.  Don’t let anyone tell you they can’t conduct an election with paper ballots.

The conservative leader in Canada, Pierre Poilievre, shows us how to talk to the know-nothing, lowered-standards, Affirmative Action Graduate Lefties. Can you show his video below, at your next meeting? Question the Lefties, write comments back to them in paper format or on-line. Make the Lefties support their worthless policies. Ask them, “What is MAGA?”

Ask them, “Why do we give U.S. citizen seniors only $1400 a month, when Illegals get $2200 a month for each adult and child? Why is it a good thing? Why are the U.S. Taxpayers giving money to people that never worked for it? Why give taxpayer money to non-U.S. Citizens?

In America, the RINO swamp must be primaried out, specifically those who put their constituents last, like Vern RINO Buchanan:

Buchanan Bowls at Biden White House After Opposing Jim Jordan Speaker Bid

Our calls help:

Ken Buck is being evicted from his main Colorado office. The landlord is a major GOP donor.

Tom Emmer is a never Trumper that should NEVER become Speaker or get re-elected.

Knives out in House GOP whip race over Electoral College abolition

Vet your candidates:

PoliticsThatWork.com – check voting records

OpenSecrets.org – check where they get donations

Our calls worked, and finally the Swamp got the message. Mike Johnson, a man who believes in the values of America, was elected as Speaker of the House.  Business will not be as usual. We the people are now in charge of our lives, and our destiny. We are many, they are few, and we no longer listen to you, or believe the garbage that you spew.

Matt Gaetz to Steve Bannon: “If you don’t think that moving from Kevin McCarthy to MAGA Mike Johnson shows the ascendance of this Movement, and where the power in the Republican Party truly lies, then you’re not paying attention.”  The American Blacks get it. The American Hispanics get it. The American Asians get it. The American Indians get it. But I fear the American Jews are still out to lunch.

Tara Setmayer, senior adviser to the anti-Trump group Lincoln Project, called on the media to “stop burying the lede” about “MAGA Mike,” adding that he would “do the bidding of” the extremist agenda. What is the extremist agenda, you should ask. What does Make America Great Again mean?  Why would any American be against that?  We must ask!

Many other bobble heads said the same:

Paul Rieckhoff: “This is the biggest power grab for Trumpist since they won the White House in 2016.”

Joe Scarborough is crying that MAGA is stealing our Democracy. I hope so, Joe, because America IS NOT a Democracy. America is a Republic!

Jeff Timmer:  “It’s strange to say , but Matt Gaetz is 100% correct about this.”

Tim Miller: “Matt Gaetz keeps being right and it’s kind of annoying.”

Answer them –  and ask, ‘Why do you hate America? What are you afraid of?’

What has just happened over the past few weeks is just the beginning of what will be a reverse of power from the Swamp, back to the People.  This is a Hundred-Year battle, and it will take a long time to reverse. The Swamp will not give up power easily. This is a start.  Our job is just beginning.

It is not over by a long shot. But we should have learned that if we work together as Americans, we will win. The first step should be to drop all adjectives in front of America. We are America first, the largest group of Free people in the World. So let’s act like it.

Our next challenge is 2-fold. We must conduct oversight on the House. It is one thing to have Mike Johnson as Speaker to talk the talk, but what are the actions? We must watch and make calls to keep our representatives on-track, to represent us.

Then we have the 2024 Election.  The time to focus on the 2024 Election is now, not after when the courts can throw out evidence of impropriety, saying “NO STANDING”. So what is the solution?

First we must check our laws, and make sure they are being followed. In Florida, we must follow election law that says only citizens can vote. But who checks citizenship? No one.

Florida is also mandated to use machines to count the votes. Wording in Florida Statute 101.5604 must be changed. Audits of all equipment must be conducted by a non-biased 3rd-party, not the company providing the machines. Those are legislative issues and could take a long time to “fix.”

Second, what about now? What can We the People, do to secure the 2024 Election?  It’s simple. Secure the voter rolls.  According to law, the voter rolls must be accurate. If they are not accurate, elections cannot be certified. Certifying an inaccurate voter roll is unlawful. This is what Pence was supposed to do! Send back the results to the states that requested them, so that the states could recheck their voter rolls.   It is up to us to check the voter rolls, and verify that dead people didn’t vote, and that all information, especially addresses, are accurate.  Jovan Hutton Pulitzer has a plan, and can help you to insure that your precinct, your county, conducts accurate and secure elections, and what you can do about it. jovanhuttonpulitzer,substack.com

More Good News: Americans are rejecting foreign entities owning pieces of America

Governor Katie Hobbs (D-AZ) stopped the theft of AZ water by Saudi Arabia for their own farm land. But beware of the propaganda of lies in the past paragraph:

“Human-related air pollution is one of the key drivers of global heating, so moving away from dirty fuel, cutting meat consumption, and recycling are small but helpful ways to prevent the volumes of harmful, planet-warming gases we produce annually.”  Water vapor is 95% of greenhouse gas and humans can do nothing about that.

Thank you, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR). She gave China 2 years to get off of Arkansas farmland. What’s going on in your state, to stop foreign governments and companies from owning and destroying America?

Everything is connected. Nothing is random, Everything has a plan. All plans are lies. All Globalists want is MONEY, POWER, CONTROL. Don’t give them yours. Challenge them with the Truth. Is America worth saving?  Doing Nothing is affirmation.

Hostages Kidnapped by Hamas Climbs to 245 as German and British Police Seen Tearing Down Posters of the Missing

IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari says the military has so far notified the families of 240 hostages that their loved ones are being held in the Gaza Strip, upping the number of confirmed people who were abducted on October 7 to at least 245.

New videos on X and photos published by the DailyMail.com show German and British police officers destroying posters of Jews kidnapped by Hamas terrorists.

This is bowing to the tenants of Islamists like Hamas, Hezbollah, Al Qaeda, ISIS, Boko Haram and the Mullas of Iran.

Fury as Met Police officers pull down posters of kidnapped Israeli children in London

By Summer Goodkind and Natasha Anderson, 31 October 2023

VIEW PHOTOS: HERE, HERE, HERE AND HERE

A furious row has broken out after Metropolitan Police officers were filmed pulling down posters of Israeli children kidnapped by Hamas during the terror group’s barbaric October 7 attack.

Two officers stripped the outside of Cullimore Chemist in Edgware, North London of flyers of the missing innocents after receiving calls from residents concerned about tension within the community.

Some locals in the area, which is home to a sizeable Jewish community, have slammed the officers over their ‘disgusting actions’. But the Met has insisted they were merely taking steps to ‘stop issues escalating’ and to ‘avoid community tension’.

In a statement, the force said that the missing posters were hung in ‘retaliation’ for comments about the Israel-Hamas war – including branding Israel and the IDF as ‘filthy animals’ – that were posted online by an alleged member of the chemist’s staff. Police said a print of out the remarks was also hung outside the shop.

Officers removed the posters and the comments because they have a ‘responsibility to take reasonable steps to stop issues escalating and to avoid any further increase in community tension,’ the force said.

Investigators are also reviewing the alleged staff member’s social media post for possible offences.

The controversy comes as the Met has come under fire for failing to clampdown on Islamism and extremism at pro-Palestine protests on the streets of London. Last weekend, protesters were seen carrying effigies of dead babies, and earlier this month extremists led a rally calling for ‘jihad’.

DHS special agents are being pulled off investigating child trafficking to make sandwiches for illegal immigrants

A patriotic whistleblower told Joh Hawley that DHS special agents are being pulled off investigating child trafficking to make sandwiches for illegal immigrants at the southern border.

According to a source within CBP, the influx of Special Interest Migrants across the U.S./Mexico border continues early in the NEW fiscal year as nearly 100 Syrian and 50 Iranian nationals have been apprehended by the Border Patrol since the beginning of October. The source says the influx of Syrian and Iranian Special Interest Migrants is concerning, considering the turmoil unfolding in the Middle East.

The Syrian and Iranian migrants were apprehended in multiple sectors across the southwest border during October. The latest arrest of an Iranian national by the Border Patrol occurred near Eagle Pass, Texas, on Saturday. The Iranian national was discovered within a single group of more than 300 that crossed into the small border city. A debrief of the Iranian migrant is pending as of press time, according to the source.

‘Protests’ are the New Pogroms

“We are here for the Jews, we came to kill them with knives and shoot at them.”

Pogroms are the new protests.

The AP which is pretty much 24/7 Hamas propaganda headlined its coverage of the Dagestan Muslim mob descending on an airport hunting for Jews to kill as a “protest”.

Crowd Storms Russian Airport to protest flight from Israel – AP

Here’s the AP propaganda.

Hundreds of people on Sunday stormed into the main airport in Russia’s Dagestan region and onto the landing field to protest the arrival of an airliner from Israel, Russian news agencies and social media reported.

Authorities closed the airport in Makhachkala, the capital of the predominantly Muslim region, and police converged on the facility. There were no immediate reports of injuries or arrests.

And here’s reality.

20 people were injured, 2 of them in critical condition, and the Muslim mob came to kill Jews.

Footage reportedly from the scene shared on local Telegram channels showed a hoard of people, Muslim pro-Palestinians, chanting “Allahu Akbar” and stopping cars to check the documents of passengers, ensuring they were not Israeli or Jewish, carrying Palestinian flags. In one of the videos that circulated social media, a rioter can be heard saying: “We are here for the Jews, we came to kill them with knives and shoot at them.”

Here’s videos of the “protesters”.

“Why are you here?” “I came for the Jews.” “The Jews?” “Yes, to kill them”

The AP has made it official. Protests are the new pogroms.

Berkeley Professor: Hamas and Hezbollah Are ‘Progressive’ and Part of ‘Global Left’

The alliance between the international left and Islamic groups has been strong for years, only suffering some strains recently over the left’s insistence on pushing the trans madness and related insanities upon the rest of us. But leftists have generally tended to ally with victimhood propaganda organizations such as the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), not with out-and-out jihadis. However, as we see an ugly recrudescence of antisemitism around the world in the wake of the Hamas jihad massacres of Oct. 7, one far-left American professor has crossed the line and unhesitatingly named Hamas and Hizballah as allies of the left.

On the face of it, what Berkeley professor Judith Butler says in a video [below] that began making the rounds on Sunday but dates from before the present war began is howlingly absurd.

Speaking haltingly, as if she has some residual hesitation about endorsing groups that are so open and even gleeful about their Jew-hatred and bloodlust, Butler said: “Um, uh, similarly, I think, uh, yes, uh, uh, understanding, uh, Hamas, Hezbollah as, uh, social movements that are progressive around, on the left, that are part of a global left, is extremely important.”

Butler went on to qualify her statement somewhat by adding: “That does not stop us from, uh, being critical of certain dimensions of, um, both movements. It doesn’t, um, it doesn’t stop those of us who are interested in nonviolent politics from raising the question of, um, uh, uh, of whether there are other options besides violence.” That’s swell, but are Hamas and Hizballah themselves interested in “nonviolent politics”? Obviously they aren’t, and Butler clearly doesn’t see that as a make-or-break issue for the left’s alliance with them.

Fittingly for someone who sees criminal gangs as “progressive” partners, a page on the Berkeley website that is devoted to touting Butler’s achievements is a veritable crime against language. It says of Butler: “They received their Ph.D. in Philosophy from Yale University in 1984. They are the author of several books…” The reader might justifiably wonder what group is being referred to, but all these plural pronouns are meant, of course, to refer to the singular yet “non-binary” Professor Butler, whose name is apparently Legion, for they are many.

Foremost on a list of her research interests are “critical theory, gender and sexuality studies.” If all the Professor Butlers went over to Lebanon and Gaza to visit with her friends and allies, how would they receive this ethnically Jewish lesbian from the Great Satan (that is, the U.S.) who insists on referring to herself in the plural? The answer to that question is as obvious as it is gruesome, and so another question inevitably arises: how can Judith Butler be so myopic as to think that such people are in any conceivable way her allies?

The answer to that question takes us right to the heart of the left’s habits of thinking. Butler is a leading gender studies theorist who complains that the “system” tries to impose upon us “constructions of binary asymmetric gender.” If she can ignore obvious reality and leap into fantasy to that extent, seeing Hamas and Hizballah as “progressive” forces is child’s play. But her affinity for these groups also reveals what the left is all about: it wants to see the destruction of what remains of Judeo-Christian civilization as much as Hamas and Hizballah do. The left shares the jihadis’ taste for authoritarianism and intolerance of dissent. Whenever the far-left has gained political power, it has never hesitated to use terror as a means to keep people in line.

And so it’s useful to remember, when leftists such as Judith Butler speak of themselves and their allies as “progressive,” exactly what they think that they are progressing toward. They want to establish a socialist state in which economic uniformity is enforced through state theft and terror. Terrorist groups might well come in handy to help usher in this workers’ paradise. The fact that those whom she favors might turn on her and her fellow non-binary fantasy-addicted academics never enters into her considerations, any more than the reality of sex and gender do. The left-fantasists among us, such as the eminent Professor Butler, would be comical, if they weren’t so very dangerous.

The Key to Peace In the Middle East Rests With The Iranian People

A Reckoning with the Past and a Call for Action

As protests in Iran persist, demanding greater freedom and a transition to democracy, the United States needs to reflect on its past actions, particularly about Iran, and decide on a course of action. To clarify: The Iranian people have been yearning for change, and the United States must stand firmly with them.

So, let us evaluate the U.S.’s past and present policies toward Iran with some practical advice for the current administration. We will also try to critically examine former U.S. President Jimmy Carter’s role in the rise of Shiite Islam in Iran and praise President Trump’s withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal. Furthermore, let this serve as a warning against supporting groups like the Mujahidin Khalgh (MEK) while advocating for support for secular Iranians and condemning the Iran nuclear deal for its hidden perils.

The Iranian Uprising: A Cry for Freedom

Protests have been raging in Iran for over a year, ignited by the tragic death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman, who was arrested for the perceived violation of Iran’s strict hijab laws. The following protests have become a massive movement, demanding greater freedoms and a complete change in the country’s leadership. Many protesters chanted, ‘Women, Life, Freedom’ —a famous rallying cry after nationwide protests erupted following Amini’s death last year. As the world watches these brave Iranians struggle for a better future, it becomes abundantly clear that they support their cause more actively. Doing so is not just a matter of principle; it’s a strategic imperative for regional peace and stability.

Encouraging International Support

The United States should lead the charge in rallying international support for the Iranian protesters. Diplomatic pressure, economic sanctions, and targeted measures against Iranian officials and entities involved in repression, censorship, and prison abuses should be employed. By taking the lead, the U.S. can encourage its European allies and other nations to join a unified front, sending a clear message to the Iranian regime.

A Democratic Movement in Iran

A popular democratic movement in Iran is desirable and necessary to bring about lasting change. The Islamic Republic’s oppressive regime is incompatible with the aspirations of the Iranian people. Our responsibility is to aid in the transition to a more democratic, representative government that respects the rule of law and individual rights.

Young Iranians, mainly the urban-educated Iranians, are among the most ardent believers in democracy worldwide. Many view America as the country with the best hope for spreading and protecting the high ideals of democracy. In a sense, many Iranians feel a closer affinity with a democratic Israel than all the neighboring Arab Muslim dictatorships. Although Islam was imposed on Iran some 1400 years ago, Iranians deeply value their ancient non-Arab identity and have never fully surrendered to the Arab culture. During the bloodletting war initiated by the late Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein against Iran, all Arab states sided with the Butcher of Baghdad against Iran. Yet, Israel was the only Middle Eastern country that remained neutral and helped Iran in the struggle. We Iranians don’t forget our friends, and we also remember our enemies.

Economic Measures

The United States should reconsider sanctions regulations that impede Iran’s interaction with international financial institutions, as such restictions may inadvertently harm the Iranian people. Instead, the U.S. should establish a fund dedicated to supporting the Iranian protest movement and promoting economic stability in the country during this period of upheaval. It is good that the US has imposed sanctions on Iranian officials and entities connected to the repression of protests, censorship, and prison abuses.

Amplifying Support through Media

  • The US should utilize traditional and social media to amplify and sustain support for the Iranian people.
  • By publicly championing their cause, we ensure their struggle does not fade into obscurity.
  • Publicizing their plight keeps the international community engaged and aware of the ongoing protests, which in turn exerts more pressure on the Iranian government to address the demands of its people.
  • President Joe Biden and other high-ranking officials should vigorously embrace traditional and social media to amplify and sustain their support for the Iranian people and remind demonstrators that the administration stands with them.

Facilitating Internet Access

Protesters in Iran rely heavily on the internet for communication and organization. The U.S. should take measures to facilitate greater access to the Internet for the Iranian people. This empowers them to organize more effectively and allows them to communicate with the outside world, shedding light on the situation inside Iran and garnering international support.

The Obama Fiasco

When Obama went on his apology world tour, bad-mouthing the United States and singing the praises of Islam and internationalism, he showed vacillation and weakness at every turn. For one, he did not even find it in himself to voice his support for the brave Iranians against the rule of fascist mullahs in the 2009 Green Revolution.

The results: Thousands of democracy’s best children of Iran were slaughtered, maimed, or imprisoned, and the Iranian mullahs are encouraged and have tripled their speed in the quest for their ultimate weapon, knowing full well that you neither can nor will do anything to stop them.

He failed to voice his support for the people. It implied that what was happening in Iran was a kind of family dispute best left to be settled by the Iranians themselves. A family feud indeed. One side of the “family” with legions of savages armed to the teeth, the Revolutionary Guard  (IRGC) and their hired thugs, and the other side of the “family” defenseless civilians using their voices to plead their case. The Islamic rulers spared no heinous means in mercilessly silencing the people’s representatives.

Today, the IRGC possesses an enormous power structure with influence over almost every aspect of Iranian life. Unlike the regular armed forces responsible for defending Iran’s territory, the IRGC was explicitly designed to protect the Islamic revolution itself and eavesdrop on the regular military. Khomeini never trusted the regular army.

No nation provided even moral support for the Iranian people, while the savage mullahs and their thugs consolidated their rule of terror with impunity. The same scenario is recurring, and the world’s silence is deafening while we are engaged in the Ukraine war.

Carter’s Legacy and the Rise of the Islamic Terrorism

It is impossible to discuss Iran’s tumultuous history without evaluating the role of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. His tenure oversaw a turbulent period in Iran’s history, ultimately leading to the rise of Shiite Islam and the establishment of the Islamic Republic. Carter’s actions, or lack thereof, are attributable to the birth of a regime that has caused immeasurable death, suffering, and turmoil, particularly during the Iran-Iraq war. The heavy toll of hundreds of thousands of Iranian lives lost in that conflict is a painful reminder of the consequences of policies that failed to support the Iranian people.

As President Carter dithered, Khomeini’s influence grew, and his message of Islamic revolution resonated with the Muslim population seeking an alternative to the Shah’s regime. The Carter administration’s failure to understand the dynamics of the Iranian opposition and its inability to support pro-democracy forces ultimately contributed to the rise of the Islamic Republic.

The upheavals of 1979 shattered the existing order, and a turbaned charlatan that Jimmy Carter called a saint, Ayatollah Khomeini, skillfully steered the forces of change to promote his brand of totalitarian rule—a rule aimed at taking Iran backward to a primitive, violent, and misogynistic society.

Carter made a bone-headed decision some forty-five years ago. Both Iranians and Americans paid dearly and continue to pay.

The Trump Administration’s Bold Move: Withdrawal from the Iran Nuclear Deal

In stark contrast to Carter’s legacy, the Trump administration made a crucial decision in May 2018, withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal and reinstating sanctions. This move was not merely an act of political bravado; it was a statement that the Iranian regime, with its history of deception, violence, and religious fanaticism, could not be trusted. It marked a turning point in U.S. policy toward Iran, reflecting an understanding of the true nature of the Islamic Republic.

The Iran Nuclear Deal: A Flawed Bargain

The Iran nuclear deal, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), was touted as a diplomatic achievement that would prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. However, it had significant flaws. Under the JCPOA, Iran was allowed to continue its nuclear program, albeit with certain limitations. While proponents argued that these restrictions would prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, critics rightly pointed out that it allowed Iran to maintain its nuclear infrastructure, setting the stage for a potential breakout once the restrictions expired.

Moreover, the deal did little to address Iran’s destabilizing activities in the region. Iran supported proxy groups, such as Hezbollah, and incited violence in neighboring countries. The influx of funds resulting from sanctions relief further emboldened Iran’s aggressive regional behavior.

The Trump administration’s decision to withdraw from the deal recognized these shortcomings and stated that the United States would not disregard Iran’s destabilizing actions.

Beware of Cultish Groups: Rejecting the MEK

While we acknowledge the need to support the Iranian people, we must heed the warnings of history and avoid supporting groups like the Mujahidin Khalgh (MEK). We must discern our choices and not inadvertently back an organization that could harm the people it claims to represent.

The MEK, considered a terrorist organization, has a dark militant history and a controversial reputation. While it claims to advocate for democracy and freedom in Iran, it has been criticized for its cult-like practices and authoritarian leadership. Supporting such a group could have unintended consequences, potentially undermining the democratic aspirations of the Iranian people.

As we acknowledge the need to support the Iranian people, it is vital to heed the warnings of history and avoid supporting groups like the Mujahidin Khalgh (MEK). “The MEK is not a valid player on the Iranian political scene. They have no credibility in Iran,” warns Ryan Crocker, former US Ambassador to Iraq.

I must strongly warn my fellow Americans not to repeat President Jimmy Carter’s monumental folly that brought the infamous Ayatollah Khomeini to power and birthed Islamist jihadism by standing behind Maryam Rajavi, the leader of the notorious Mujahidin-e Khalq or (MEK), the most dangerous terrorist group that even abused and murdered their members for trying to defect or escape from Camp Ashraf in Iraq. It would be equivalent to betraying the ideals of America—the flag holder of freedom in the world.

Secular Iranians are our True Allies

The path forward lies in championing the cause of secular Iranians, the United States’ best friends in the Islamic world. Their vision for a democratic Iran, where individual rights and freedoms are respected, aligns with our values and interests. We must throw our full support behind them in their quest for a brighter future.

The protests in Iran have revealed the Iranian people’s unwavering determination for a better future in which they enjoy the same rights and freedoms that citizens of free nations often take for granted. It is our responsibility as the United States, a beacon of democracy and liberty, to support their aspirations.

While history contains valuable lessons, the present moment calls for a bold, resolute stance. We must rally behind the Iranian people, drawing from our past experiences to navigate the complex landscape of Iranian politics. By standing with the Iranian people in their pursuit of democracy and freedom, we can help pave the way for a more peaceful Middle East.

The time for action is now, and the United States must seize the opportunity to be a force for good in Iran and beyond. In doing so, we can ensure that the tragic mistakes of the past are not repeated and that the Iranian people can finally achieve the freedoms they so desperately desire.

Final note

Once the Islamic regime is defeated, it would be the greatest thing since the fall of Soviet communism. It would subvert virulent Islamic ideology by creating a truly democratic, secular, strong nation in tandem with Israeli democracy in the heart of the Islamic Ummah. It would be an answered prayer just as much for the world as for Iranians.

Cornel West Rants Against ‘Genocidal’ Israel in Pro-Palestinian Rally

Dr. Cornel West, radical professor-turned-independent presidential candidate, delivered a speech at a pro-Palestinian rally on Saturday in which he ranted against the “genocidal” existence of the state of Israel.

In a video West posted to his own Twitter/X account, he declared:

Let the word go forth here and now, that we stand with our brothers and sisters and siblings dealing with unbelievable assault and attack, genocidal on the one hand, but 75 years of it, and we still stand tall, they still stand tall, ’cause any time, yes, any time everyday people straighten their backs up they’re going somewhere, because folk can’t ride our back unless it’s bent, and we are standing in solidarity.

The reference to “75 years” is a reference to the creation of the State of Israel in 1948. The claim that its very existence constitutes “genocide” is an inversion of history, and implies that Israel is illegitimate and should be destroyed.

Later, West declared:

Don’t let any of these mainstream folks try to manipulate you and say you hate Jewish brothers and sisters — you hate an Israeli occupation! You hate an Israeli genocidal attack on our precious siblings, Palestinian siblings in Gaza! … And some of us will be faithful unto death! Just like those in Gaza and faithful unto death!

Israel is attacking Hamas and other terror organizations in Gaza, while encouraging civilians to take refuge in safe zones in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. The call to fight “unto death” echoes the slogans of many of those same terror organizations, which are attempting to stop Palestinians from fleeing and would prefer death to coexistence or surrender.

Not once in the video did West condemn Hamas, or terror against Israeli civilians, though he did call for learning “how to live with Israeli brothers and sisters.”

West also marched in the same rally holding a banner depicting “Zionism” as a snake, a common theme in antisemitic imagery.

HAMAS OFFICIALS: Iran Has Given Our Organizations $ Billions, Paying For ‘Every Weapon’ And Funding Our Jihad

Over the past few years, MEMRI has translated top officials from Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and even the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) talking openly about how Iran is funding their organizations’ military activity.

MEMRI has compiled these clips into a video exposing these leaders discussing the weapons, funding, training, and “guidance” that Iran has given to their organizations for terrorism and for waging jihad. Among other things, they describe their “strategic relationship” with Iran, assess Iran’s funding of the Palestinian resistance at billions of dollars, and explain how IRGC Qods Force commander Qassem Soleimani, who was killed in a U.S. drone strike in January 2020, had personally overseen the arming, equipping, and training of the Palestinian resistance factions.

The clips in this compilation, from Iranian and Arabic-language television channels, feature Hamas leaders Yahyah Sinwar, Ismail Haniya, and Khalil Al-Hayya; PIJ leader Ziyad Nakhalah and senior official Muhammad Shalah; PFLP secretary-general Talal Naji, and Iranian analyst Emad Abshenas, and others.

Defeating Manufactured Fear: How to Defuse the Left’s Most Powerful Tool

Fear has been shown to be a VERY effective way of getting people to be compliant.

Every day we are barraged with a slew of fears: inflation, national debt, terrorism, city riots, drug deaths (e.g., fentanyl), community killings, out-of-control immigration, school propaganda, legislative self-serving, executive branch incompetence, judicial bias, corporation corruption, climate, COVID-19, China, Russia, etc., etc.

A case can be made that we are living in really bad times so fear is warranted. But two quick thoughts:

a) what can the average citizen do about most of the threats we are dealing with? and

b) doesn’t this incessantly foreboding fear desensitize us?

Let’s back up a bit and consider what goes on internally in us that causes fear. Anxiety is typically at the root of this emotion, and anxiety is usually the result of a perception that we lack control (i.e., a comforting plan). Regardless of the threat, if we believe that we have a safe way out, our fear will be minimal.

Whether fear is a good or bad thing, has been debated for a long time. On the one hand, fear can be beneficial when it is a wake-up call. On the other hand, it is detrimental when it causes us to give up in the face of a perceived threat, or when it eats away at our health, relationships, enjoyment of life, etc.

Another significant matter here is when a fear-inducing claim is made, who is responsible for establishing its authenticity: the alarmist or us? Fear perpetrators almost always rely on deference to authority: these supposed experts say “do such-and-such.” In other words, you should toe the line and go along (be compliant).

This article has some good insights, like explaining the difference between stress and fear:

Stresses come in many varieties—viral, bacterial, parasitic, fungal, toxic, chemical, mechanical, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Many of the assaults on our bodies are just part of living in our modern world. We can’t avoid air pollution. We can’t stop all the germs that land on us in the elevator. We can’t change modern-day farming practices. There is much we can not control, but fear is a bit different.

It comes in one variety: thoughts that start with “what if,” and often end up with a worst-case scenario. The fear of loss in humans is very keen — a primary motivator that has made many advertisers rich. What if you lose your job? Or your child? Or your lover? Or your home? Or your reputation? Or your car? Or your wallet? Or your mind? Or your health? So many things to lose!…

There are two major worldwide fears we have been continuously bludgeoned with:

a) Climate Change. The basic message is: unless we make radical societal changes, the world will come to an end in 10± years. You might think this fear is the worst that we can be threatened with, but no…

b) COVID. The basic message was: unless you are willing to drastically surrender your rights and freedoms, you or your loved ones will likely die very quickly.

There are several tactics to counter these fear-inducing messages (like just ignoring them), and two (2) have proven to be very effective:

1 Critical Thinking

2 God

1 – CRITICAL THINKING regarding Climate or COVID would reveal that the media messages we are being fed are purposefully designed to create and feed fear. This should not be a surprise, as feeding fear has a long tradition in media — as they believe that bad news sells much better than good news.

Worse is that many of the media messages we are being fed are without merit. This also should not really be a surprise, as how many journalists writing about highly technical matters like Climate or COVID are bonafide experts (real scientists)? Almost none.

They might argue that they are just passing on what the “experts” are saying. That might sound sensible, but it is false, as they only endorse and pass on what SOME experts are saying. Since experts differ on both of these complex issues, how does a non-technical journalist decide which experts are right?

They do not have the technical background to make a science-based determination!

For example, there are experts on both sides of the issue as to whether black holes exist. If a journalist writes about this topic, they have no business taking a side. Instead, they should write objectively and thoroughly about the arguments made on BOTH sides — and let the reader make up their own mind.

None of that is happening regarding the mainstream media’s handling of technical matters (Climate, COVID, energy, etc.)!

One of their arguments would likely be that they are just passing on what the “majority” of experts are saying. That is more BS meant to fool non-critically thinking citizens. For example, do they have proof that the majority of climate experts believe that unless radical changes are made immediately, the planet will cease to exist in 10± years? Of course, they have no such thing!

That leaves citizens who want accurate information one choice: do their own investigation and apply Critical Thinking. Checking things out on their own, they will likely come across experts who are more interested in the Truth, rather than going along with what is politically popular. Citizens would do well to listen to such parties — but should still apply Critical Thinking to what they are told even from them. (My twice-a-month Newsletter is a free vehicle for such sources.)

The same would apply to multiple other societal issues. For example, we know that an eight-year-old does not have the maturity to: drive a car, own a gun, drink a beer, get married, decide whether or not to wear a COVID mask, etc., etc. So (critically thinking about this), what sense does it make to say that this same child has the maturity to make a sex change decision — that will have extraordinarily profound consequences on them for the rest of their life?

My last observations about Critical Thinking start with the reality that keeping things in perspective is a key objective for maintaining mental, emotional, and spiritual health… We need to appreciate that fear prevents an organized, rational resistance — which is exactly what the bad actors are hoping for… Manufactured (and exaggerated) Fear is intended to divide us (e.g., see here). To counteract that, surround yourself with quality people.

In other words: have strong personal relationships in your life. For example, if you are in a committed relationship with the love of your life, societal troubles will fade into the background.

2 – GOD. A powerful conclusion from a critical thinking analysis on these societal fears we are being subjected to, is that many of these are not simply a difference of opinion, but rather are just evil. Many of us tend to be skittish when it comes to taking a stand on moral issues, and that is exactly what our opponents want us to do: stay on the sidelines, be wishy-washy, etc. That leaves the playing fields open to bad actors to wreak havoc on America and our Judeo-Christian standards.

When we have a proper perspective on why we exist, God is the most logical answer. For example, as a professional scientist, I say that to believe that we are just a statistical part of a Big Bang, is stretching credulity beyond the breaking point.

If we really believe in — and are on good terms with — God, then the threat of a “worst-case scenario” is actually an illusion. If the world ends or we die, so what? All that has happened is that our time to get an eternal reward is accelerated. This is one of the main reasons that our country’s opponents want to undermine our Judeo-Christain beliefs, as they are a powerful anecdote to their fabricated fears

God is the guaranteed anecdote for the evil we are being subjected to, as God’s power is far greater than all the evil in the world combined. But there is a hitch: this power will not come into play until a) we acknowledge it, b) we ask for it, and c) we do our part: pray as if everything depends on God, but work as if everything depends on us.

Some people are resistant to accepting the God part because they say things like “How could God stand by and allow XYZ to happen?” The fact is that God understands the Big Picture of the world a thousand times more than any of us do — so for us to say we need to have it explained to us why God does something, is arrogant.

Following the logical plan of Critical Thinking + God will result in less stress and more comfort. It will also open the door to more happiness (see our recent discussion on that).

Johnson Critics Mistake Christianity, American Principles for ‘Theocracy’

Washington is bursting with varied reactions to House Republicans electing U.S. Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.) as speaker — ranging from “hooray!” to “who?” — but the strangest might be allegations that Speaker Johnson will turn America into a theocracy. “Welcome to the Republican Era of not even pretending they aren’t forcing their religion on Congress and the American people,” tweeted U.S. Rep. Jared Huffman (D-Calif.) on Wednesday, in reaction to a clip from Johnson’s inaugural speech. “This is a slippery, dangerous slope to theocracy.”

Huffman was offended when Johnson described his belief that “God is the one that raises up those in authority.” Here’s the full context from Johnson’s speech:

“I want to tell all my colleagues here what I told the Republicans in that room last night. I don’t believe there are any coincidences in a matter like this. I believe that Scripture, the Bible, is very clear that that God is the one that raises up those in authority. He raised up each of you, all of us. And I believe that God has ordained and allowed each one of us to be brought here for this specific moment in this time. This is my belief. I believe that each one of us has a huge responsibility today to use the gifts that God has given us to serve the extraordinary people of this great country, and they deserve it.”

U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) agreed with Huffman’s assessment, “Speaker Mike Johnson? Anti-choice, anti-LGBTQ, anti-gun safety, anti-democracy. This is what theocracy looks like.”

“It was as though, the moment he said this, a memo went out among Democrats with the word ‘theocracy’ in all of their talking points,” said Family Research Council Action President and former Congressman Jody Hice, guest host of “Washington Watch.”

“This is just basic Christian belief coming right out of the Bible,” responded David Closson, director of Family Research Council’s Center for Biblical Worldview, “that God is the one that ordains authority. God is the one that gives delegated authority to human beings to wield it on his behalf.” He appealed to Daniel 2:21, “he removes kings and sets up kings,” and Proverbs 21:1, “The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.”

This doctrine is a particular application of God’s sovereign, providential oversight of all human affairs. Once King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon “knew that the Most High God rules the kingdom of mankind and sets over it whom he will” (Daniel 5:21), he confessed, “he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, ‘What have you done?’” (Daniel 4:35). Nobody ever accused King Nebuchadnezzar, sacker of Jerusalem, of instituting a Judeo-Christian theocracy.

In fact, this doctrine strengthens rather than undermines even secular governments. The apostle Paul articulated it, “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God” (Romans 13:1).

Submission to governing authorities is a standard view “that Christians have held for literally 2,000 years,” Closson explained. “I think we need to see this for what it is: … folks who don’t have any reference to what the Bible teaches, trying to scare millions of Americans, when so many of us would just be saying ‘Amen.’”

Johnson’s belief in divine sovereignty over human affairs — a supposed “slippery, dangerous slope to theocracy” — is not all that different from widespread beliefs at the time of America’s founding. Even some of the least Christian figures from America’s founding era acknowledged this fact.

On June 28, 1787, no less a skeptic than Benjamin Franklin devoted an entire speech to urging the Constitutional Convention to institute daily prayers “imploring the assistance of Heaven” in their deliberations. Just before he cited Matthew, Psalms, and Genesis, Franklin said, “I have lived, sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth — that God governs in the affairs of men.” This from one of the least religious among the Founding Fathers. After such an address, why did no one warn of the Philadelphia plot to impose a theocracy?

On February 14, 1776, Enlightenment writer Thomas Paine — widely suspected of being a closet atheist — published his viral pamphlet “Common Sense.” While his view of government as a “necessary evil” that would not exist in an unfallen world contradicts biblical teaching, Paine still appealed to Christian teachings in a way that would render him open to the charge of wanting to establish a “theocracy” in today’s moral environment. He quoted extensively from Judges 8 and 1 Samuel 8 and 12 to argue against monarchies, concluding, “that the Almighty hath here entered his protest against monarchical government is true, or the scripture is false.”

Paine continued, “But where, say some, is the King of America? I’ll tell you, friend, he reigns above.” Paine endorsed having a day “solemnly set apart for proclaiming the [national] Charter,” bringing it forth “placed on the Divine Law, the Word of God,” and having “a crown be placed thereon.” These are the words of perhaps the least Christian person involved in America’s founding. Yet now members of Congress are calling Speaker Johnson a theocrat merely for stating his belief in God’s sovereign providence.

Yet another heterodox Founder, Thomas Jefferson, acknowledged divine providence over human affairs. In the time-tested words of the Declaration of Independence, he argued that men may set up new governments for themselves according to “the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God,” and that men are “are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights.” While his words were edited into the final version, on this point Jefferson’s original draft communicates the same basic ideas.

Jefferson also “often referred to his or ‘our’ God but did so in the language of an 18th century natural philosophy: ‘our creator,’ the ‘Infinite Power, which rules the destinies of the universe,’ ‘overruling providence,’ ‘benevolent governor,’ etc.,” according to the left-leaning Thomas Jefferson Foundation, which manages his home at Monticello. Acknowledging divine providence was no problem for the president who coined the phrase, “separation of church and state,” but, when Speaker Johnson articulated the same doctrine, he was accused of wanting to establish a theocracy.

Early American evidence for belief in God’s sovereignty and providence even goes beyond private writings to official, legal recognition. The Judiciary Act of 1789, which passed with 70% support in the Senate, required all judges to take an oath of office ending with the words “so help me God.” What is that, if not an acknowledgement of God’s sovereign control over human governments? Today, all federal officials except the president must take an oath ending with the same words. A “popular story” holds that George Washington appended the same phrase to his oath of office, and many presidents since have done likewise. What a “slippery, dangerous slope to theocracy!”

Critics of Christian politicians often overlook the fact that, while a biblical worldview should influence a Christian’s policy objectives, the policy application of biblical teaching is — with a few notable exceptions, such as marriage and life — not necessarily straightforward. In the same speech where Johnson supposedly outed himself as a theocrat, the new House speaker articulated seven governing principles he argued were foundational to conservatism and America. These seven principles were, “individual freedom, rule of government, rule of law, peace through strength, fiscal responsibility, free markets, and human dignity.”

While Johnson’s faith certainly informs his valuation of these principles, the principles themselves are not inherently religious, and all of them can be defended on secular grounds as well — Paine’s “Common Sense,” for instance, provides secular arguments for most of his seven principles.

“It definitely shows us how few in the media and in the Democrat[ic] Party even have an understanding of just basic Christian tenets,” Closson concluded. “Because I think if they did, they would maybe be a little bit more subtle in how they went after him.”

“All of us who are evangelical Christians are not surprised at the criticism and denunciations of Speaker Mike Johnson,” said Closson. “These kinds of criticisms would have probably been hurled at any Republican who was chosen. … What’s surprised some of us is that so much of the criticism that’s being hurled and levied at him really just overlaps with [criticism of] really basic Christian beliefs.” “That is the point of attack,” agreed Hice, “the Christian foundation upon which he stands.”

Retired Army General: Hamas Has Violated ‘Every Law of Land Warfare That There Is’

As Israel began its ground invasion on the Gaza strip, U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and his team are negotiating hundreds of hostages held by Hamas. But in addition to this are the approximately 600 American citizens and foreign nationals who are trapped inside Israel’s target. According to Sullivan, Egypt has “prepared to allow American citizens and foreign nationals to come through the Rafah gate into Egypt,” and Israel is on board with this course of action, but Hamas is preventing their departure from Gaza due to a “series of demands.”

He added, “I can’t go through those demands in public, but that is the subject of the discussions in the negotiations that are ongoing.” Currently, there are roughly 800 individuals that Sullivan and his team are working to free from Hamas-controlled territory.

Sullivan also shared his concern of the war between Israel and Hamas “turning into a wider regional conflict.” “The president has been very straightforward on this,” he said. “If American troops are attacked by Iran and its proxies, we will respond.” Even though “every measure” is being taken to avoid regional conflict, he continued, “the risk is real.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the press that his country has entered a “second stage” of the war against Hamas, and he anticipates it to be “long and difficult.” He added, “There are moments in which a nation faces two possibilities: to do or die. We now face that test.” Since the war began, Netanyahu has only taken questions from reporters once. However, he made Israel’s objective clear: “to destroy the military and governmental capabilities of Hamas and bring the hostages home.”

On Friday’s episode of “Washington Watch,” Lt. General (Ret.) William Boykin, executive vice president of Family Research Council, said that as the Middle East enters this next phase of war, “[W]e need to let [Israel] know that we are not going to abandon them.” He added that “we as a nation have to make sure that we’re doing the things here at home that don’t make a situation like this worse.” He explained his disappointment in what is happening in America and alluded to the pro-Palestine protests breaking out at college campuses. If college deans and presidents continue to not “hold them accountable,” Boykin insisted, then we are “failing to support Israel in the way we should.”

The former commander of Delta Force reflected on the 52 hostages Iran held for 444 days in 1981. They were released only minutes after Ronald Reagan’s inauguration because, he explained, Iran knew America’s president to be “a man of strength.” He noted that we, as a nation, need to show the same type of strength against Hamas now.

“I’ll tell you what,” Boykin added, “What Hamas is doing violates every law of land warfare that there is.” He explained how the terrorists have used hospitals as cover, how they’ve mutilated bodies, and committed various other atrocities that are against the rules of just war. For Boykin, “[I]f we allow that kind of behavior … without any penalties whatsoever, you’re going to see the same thing again. [T]his is going to be over one day, and there’s got to be a reckoning.”

Like so many Christian leaders, Boykin emphasized the need for prayer. Israel is going to withstand a lot over the next several months, he insisted. “[W]e’ve got to get on our knees and ask the Lord to give them the stamina that they need to continue this fight.”

SPECIAL EDITION — Tennessee Mayoral Candidate Gabrielle Hanson and Voter Fraud

Continuously since 2020, Americans have been told, “there was NO election fraud!”

Regardless of the hearings, submittals, testimony, and evidence made public, the political establishment combined from both political parties have worked overtime to squash even a scintilla of evidence and to ridicule, even character assassinate, those who came forward and dared to suggest our electoral process is less than honest, less than reliable. In a tremendous way, We The People have been subjected to a “selection process not an election process” in far too many locations. And yet, the ridicule and nay-sayers continue their litany of shameful denials proclaiming…“nothing to see here move on!”

What you are about to hear is a candid conversation by and between, former Arizona State Rep. Mark Finchem, Franklin, Tennessee Mayoral candidate Gabrielle Hanson and me on this Special Edition of ARIZONA TODAY. What you are about to hear is startling. The testimony by this Mayoral candidate who days ago went through a stolen election is sobering and alarming.

The eye-witness accounts of alleged voter fraud, election tabulator severe interference and remote vote changing are what occurs in third-world dictatorial countries, and they are reported on this Special Edition as having occurred in Franklin, Tennessee just days ago.

On September 18, 1787, Maryland delegate to the Constitutional Convention, James McHenry (1753-1816) heard and then wrote in his records of the last day of the Constitutional convention: “A lady asked Dr. Benjamin Franklin Well Doctor what have we got a republic or a monarchy – a republic replied Benjamin Franklin if you can keep it.” The Lady was Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia. I firmly believe Dr. Franklin and ALL the Delegates to the Constitutional convention would be appalled and very angry at what has transpired the last two years in our electoral process.

The United States of America is teetering on the edge about to fall over and lose forever the gift given to us by our founders. We are about to lose the exceptional nation birthed and called a republic. I sincerely pray YOU reading this and then listening to the shocking conversation on this Special Edition of ARIZONA TODAY do something; shout, demand answers, hold elected officials accountable for explanations and investigations, demand a review of the electoral process in your community, county, state.

Do NOT simply sit and do nothing.

Our republic is hanging by a thread, and I am NOT being conspiratorial.

UAE Al-Arab Daily: Hamas, A Muslim Brotherhood Faction, Seeks To Topple Arab Countries And Revive The Caliphate

PalestineUnited Arab Emirates | Special Dispatch No. 10919

Following the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel, Yemeni journalist Hani Salem Mashour wrote in his October 17, 2023 column in the London-based UAE Al-Arab daily, titled “Hamas Is Not Palestine,” that the aim of Hamas, like that of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) movement to which it belongs and of the other extremist organizations with which it is linked, is to topple the Arab regimes and establish an Islamic Caliphate. He stressed that Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) have no right to claim to represent the Palestinian people and to embroil them in pointless wars, just as none of the other political Islamic organizations have such a right. He then urged the Arab and Islamic world to wake up and recognize this reality, and decide “to disengage from the legacies exploited by the extremist organizations in order to destroy all of mankind.”

Hani Salem Mashour’s column “Hamas Is Not Palestine” in Al-Arab, London, October 17, 2023

The following are translated excerpts from Mashour’s October 17, 2023 column in the UAE Al-Arab daily:

“We have before us another opportunity to direct the attention of the public, since the current situation of blood and killing demands that we address the unchanging behavior of the political Islam organizations. Since its establishment in 1928, the Muslim Brotherhood [MB] has believed that it represents the Muslims. This is a doctrine that is fixed and that has not changed. Although decades, and events, have passed, and the organization has branched out into more than one armed organization, the MB has adhered to this [principle]: It is the sole representative of the people. This can be deduced from the ongoing clashes between the political Islam organizations and the Arab nation-state, after it was established during the Free Officers Movement’s revolution in Egypt in 1952.

“In the [October 1954] Manshiyya incident in Alexandria, the nation-state clashed with the religious organization. [This] assassination attempt against President Gamal Abdel Nasser was a conceptual clash between two rivals who cannot coexist because of the inherent contradiction [between them]. At that moment, the MB believed that if it could remove the leader of the nation-state, it could gain control of the government in Egypt. That is what it thought. Moreover, it thought that if its attempt to assassinate [Nasser] succeeded, it would bring an end to the Arab national liberation project [in the different Arab nation-states]. Thus, the fact that Nasser survived symbolized the rescue of the Arab national liberation project in  nation[-states with their own distinct national identities]…

“Even the defeat [of Egypt] in 1967 [i.e. the Six-Day War] was in essence a clash between the nation-state [with its own distinct national identity] and the religious movement. After that defeat, there was a discourse of incitement [led by political Islam] that was imbued with schadenfreude [at the defeat of] the Egyptian regime as a regime with its [its own distinct] national identity… The terrible waves of hatred [buffeting] the political regime, from every direction, were unprecedented, and created a chasm between the peoples and the political regimes in the Arab world. All this occurred because the regimes of the different [Arab] nation-states had not grasped the essence of the religious dimension in which the MB operated freely within the framework of the state.”

“The MB exploited the conflict between the republics and the monarchies and with the help of the propaganda of the Arab Left succeeded in expanding the discourse of hatred against the regimes of the [Arab] nation-states [that have their own distinct national identities]. The October 1973 war was the only means that could be used to boost the Arab nationalist regime, with the Egyptian army’s accomplishment when it seized the Bar Lev line. [However,] even this extremely valuable and historic victory could not close the large and growing gap between the Arab regimes and their peoples – [the latter of which] had gone back to heeding the propaganda of the anti-state religious groups after the1979 Camp David Egypt-Israel peace accords that led to the assassination of President Anwar Sadat in 1981.

“Lebanon’s civil war was essentially an ugly exploitation of the religious and sectarian conflict in the Middle East. The Arab countries did not realize that this war deepened the conflict, shattering the Lebanese nation-state. The Lebanon war led to [a situation in which] the extremist groups, for the first time, acquired weapons from outside the state framework. Hizbullah was born from the Shi’ite Amal Movement, with the intensification of the religious revolutionary discourse; this was after Iran’s Islamic Revolution successfully brought down the Shah’s secular regime and established an extensive religious state under [Ayatollah Ruhollah] Khomeini, the jurisprudent and ruler…

“The Arab political system continued to disregard the consequences, even as these regimes followed with concern the takeover by Juhayman Al-Otaybi and his group of the Great Mosque of Mecca.[1] The Arab regimes – which did not foresee the long-term [results] of sending fighters to Afghanistan as the Cold War escalated between the U.S. and the Soviet Union – were not aware that they were heeding an extremist religious stream that had succeeded in infiltrating the institutions of the Arab nation-states and was capable of directing them in accordance with its multinational Islamic worldview [which does not recognize nation-states with their own distinct national identities].

“With the 1991 convening of the Arab Islamic conference in Khartoum, the MB and its Shi’ite allies consummated their control. Therefore, the emergence of the Al-Qaeda organization in the Arabian Peninsula was just a matter of time, once the international MB organization disseminated the idea that the 1994 invasion of South Yemen constituted a holy war against the communists and Marxists. This was preparation for a larger event – [that is,] when Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden carried out terror attacks against the U.S. on September 11, [2001,] – and by doing so took the Arab and Muslim will hostage. What Al-Qaeda did led to the American occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq.

“This historical narrative is essential in order to understand that the primary goal of the extremist Islamic organizations… is still to crush the nation-state. Thus, the Houthis [i.e. the Houthi Ansar Allah movement in Yemen] emerged, claiming to represent Yemen; Hizbullah [claimed it] represented Lebanon, and Al-Hashd Al-Sha’abi [Popular Mobilization Units, aka PMU][2] and its allies [claimed] to represent Iraq. These organizations engage in taking peoples and countries hostage and entangling them in wars and conflicts that have no clear objectives besides a desire to abolish the political borders of the Arab nation-state. This is the goal pursued by the religious organizations, in order to establish… what they describe as ‘the Caliphate State.’

“The Hamas and PIJ movements have no right to claim that they represent the will of the Palestinian people in order to entangle it a pointless war – just as none of the religious organizations have the right to do so. In light of the siege on the Gaza Strip, and following the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, it would be appropriate for the wisdom of the Arab collective to awaken [and recognize] the truth as it is. It is inconceivable for the nation-state to be replaced by a caliphate state… [This is because] such a state cannot exist in the [current] political reality. Although today’s reality is drenched in blood, it may indeed turn into an opportunity for an awakening, for reexamination, and for deciding to disengage from the legacies exploited by the extremist organizations in order to destroy all of mankind.”[3]

[1] Juhayman Al-Otaybi was a Saudi Arabian rebel who led the takeover of the Great Mosque of Mecca on November 20, 1979, and held the worshipers inside hostage for three days. He and his devotees were captured following a clash with security forces and subsequently executed by the regime.

[2] Al-Hashd Al-Sha’abi (Popular Mobilization Units, PMU) is an umbrella organization supported by the Iraqi government which comprises about 40 Shi’ite militias, but also includes Sunni, Christian and Yazidi organizations. PMU forces participated in almost every significant battle against the Islamic State (ISIS). The organization also includes pro-Iranian Shi’ite militias which are subordinate to the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and were involved in military operations against the U.S. and Israel.

NRCC Has Best Fundraising Day In Over 18 Months After Mike Johnson Wins Speakership

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), the House GOP’s campaign arm, raised its largest amount in a single day since February 2022 on Friday after Louisiana Rep. Mike Johnson won the speakership.

The NRCC raised $175,000 two days after Johnson secured the gavel, and brought in more than $475,000 over the three-day weekend, the Daily Caller News Foundation confirmed. Friday was the committee’s best online fundraising day in more than 18 months, and Saturday saw increased numbers, setting a new record for the 2024 season, according to a press release.

“Speaker Johnson is off to a hot start in the money game. The NRCC is proud to partner with our Speaker to ensure we have the resources to grow our majority,” Jack Pandol, NRCC communications director, said in a statement.

A majority of the NRCC’s fundraising haul came from emails signed by Johnson, and over 10% of the committee’s new donors for the 2024 cycle came in over the weekend, according to the press release.

The NRCC’s fundraising numbers were first reported by Politico on Monday.

McCarthy was a fundraising juggernaut for the Republican conference, as he helped the NRCC bring in over $40 million during the 2022 cycle and more than $20 million ahead of 2024, according to multiple outlets. Johnson has raised only $600,000 during this cycle between his congressional campaign and leadership PAC, leading some Republicans to question his ability to help members get reelected in 2024, according to Politico.

Johnson was the House GOP’s fourth speaker nominee following a contentious three-week vacancy left when McCarthy was ousted on Oct. 3. House Majority Whip Tom Emmer and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise withdrew their candidacies due to a lack of support for their bids, and House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan was booted from the race after he failed to receive enough floor votes three times.

The Louisiana congressman served as vice chair of the House Republican conference prior to his speakership, and sat on the House Judiciary Committee and the House Armed Services Committee. Johnson has been serving in the lower chamber since 2017, when he won by double digits, and most recently secured his seat outright in 2022.

Johnson did not immediately respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.
