Judge Allows Trump And Co-Defendants To Appeal Fani Willis Ruling

Judge Scott McAfee ruled Wednesday that former President Donald Trump and eight other co-defendants can seek review of his decision not to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

McAfee granted the certificate of immediate review sought by defendants, finding it “of such importance to the case that immediate review should be had.” The decision means defendants can appeal McAfee’s decision, which allowed Willis to stay on the case against Trump after special prosecutor Nathan Wade stepped down, despite finding an “appearance of impropriety” in their actions.

“The challenged order is not one of final judgment, and the State has informed the Court that it has complied with the order’s demands,” McAfee wrote. “Thus, unless directed otherwise by an appellate court, supersedeas shall only apply to the order being appealed.”

“The Court intends to continue addressing the many other unrelated pending pretrial motions, regardless of whether the petition is granted within 45 days of filing, and even if any subsequent appeal is expedited by the appellate court,” he continued.

Trump co-defendant Michael Roman filed the initial motion to disqualify Willis in January, alleging she financially benefited from appointing Wade, her romantic partner, when he took her vacations.

McAfee wrote in his ruling last week that there were “reasonable questions” about “whether the District Attorney and her hand-selected lead SADA testified untruthfully about the timing of their relationship.”

Wade and Willis maintained in their testimony that the relationship did not begin until after he was hired, though a long-time friend of Willis contradicted this, stating it began in 2019. They maintained Willis repaid Wade for vacation expenses in cash.

Wade’s former law partner Terrence Bradley also told Ashleigh Merchant, Roman’s attorney, that the relationship began before Wade was hired, according to text messages.

Steve Sadow, Trump’s lead defense counsel, said in a statement that McAfee’s decision to grant the certificate of immediate review was “highly significant.”

“It means the defense is permitted to apply to the Georgia Court of Appeals for pretrial review of the Judge’s order refusing to dismiss the case or disqualify Fulton County DA Willis,” Sadow said. “The defense is optimistic that appellate review will lead to the case being dismissed and the DA being disqualified.”

WORLD HAPPINESS REPORT: The U.S. Happiness Ranking in 2020 was #18 ― In 2024 it is #23. Why?

The 2024 World Happiness Report has been released and it contains some very useful, informative and very shocking scientific outcomes.

After reading the results of the 2024 World Happiness Report (2021-2023) we decided to compare it with the last report the 2020 World Happiness Report (2018-2020).

Living in America we of course focused at the ranking of America in both reports.

What we found was sad but understandable.

Here are the rankings of America for the last two World Happiness Reports:

Why?

The 2024 World Happiness Report found:

  • [I]n North America happiness has fallen so sharply for the young that they are now less happy than the old. 
  • Happiness fell significantly in the country group including the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, by twice as much for the young as for the old.
  • In 2021-2023 negative emotions were in every region more prevalent for females than males. Almost everywhere the gender gap is larger at older ages.
  • The frequency of positive emotions in every region is highest for those under 30, thereafter steadily declining with age in every region except North America, where positive emotions are least frequent for those in the middle age groups.
  • In most countries life satisfaction drops gradually from childhood through adolescence and into adulthood. Globally, young people aged 15-24 still report higher life satisfaction than older adults. But this gap is narrowing in Western Europe and recently reversed in North America due to falling life satisfaction among the young.
  • As between generations, those born before 1965 (Boomers and their predecessors) have life evaluations about one-quarter of a point higher than those born after 1980 (Millennials and Gen Z). Within each generation, life evaluations rise with age for those in the older generations and fall with age for the younger ones, with little age effect for those in between.

America’s youth and America’s females, in particular, are less happy.

According to Tufts Tisch College

In 2024, Gen Z youth alone will make up over 40 million potential voters—including 8 million youth who will have newly reached voting age since 2022—making up nearly one fifth of the American electorate. Together with the youngest Millennials, young people ages 18-34 are poised to be a potential force in the next presidential election.

The Tufts Tisch College poll found that half of of America’s youth are struggling mentally. The poll found that close to half of young people say they’re struggling with mental health issues like loneliness or lack of confidence, and those who do are less likely to vote.

America’s youth are most worried about:

  1. Key Issues: Economy, Climate, Guns. Young people’s top issues are inflation/cost of living, jobs that pay a living wage, gun violence, and climate change.

America’s youth are confused because they have been indoctrinated by their teachers from K-12-20.

Here’s why:

  • America’s youth believe that the world is ending because of their own actions. They feel responsible for the climate changing when in fact there is nothing they, or mankind, can do to impact the weather, let alone the climate. They are now the children of the religion of climate change.
  • Boys and girls have both been brainwashed to believe that they can not only choose their personal pronoun but that gender affirming surgery is safe and necessary.
  • America’s youth aren’t being taught how to think, rather they are being taught what to think. Instead of learning the three R’s they are taught how not to think for themselves. How to create new knowledge, new wisdom and new understanding of themselves and the world.
  • Today’s youth believe that Communism is good and Capitalism is bad. They aren’t being taught the failed history of Communism.
  • Today’s white youth are being told that they are racists and evil. That they must pay reparations even thought they never owned a slave.
  • Today’s Jewish students are being attacked by their teachers, professors and physically to the point of being in fear if their lives.
  • Today’s Christian youth are being bombarded with devil worship and evil everywhere that they look. Be it pornography on social media sites like TikTok to films like “Poor Things.”
  • Today’s youth are not being hired because of their qualifications but by their race or gender. Diversity, equity and inclusion is more important and replaced the standards of knowledge, hard work and professionalism.
  • Today’s American youth have increasing debt, both personal and national, are more unsure that ever about their futures.
  • Today’s young men and women are not thinking about marriage and having children. Rather they have become more and more self-centered and frivolous.

America’s youth are in a downward spiral and they are depressed, lonely and lack confidence because they have been lied to, and subjected to myths rather than the truth.

Abraham Lincoln wrote, “Folks are usually about as happy as they make their minds up to be.”

America’s youth can’t make up their minds because big government, social media, Hollywood, corporations and colleges and universities don’t want them to. They just want them to obey.

America’s youth are suffering from “The Seven Social Sins”:

  1. Wealth without work.
  2. Pleasure without conscience.
  3. Knowledge without character.
  4. Commerce without morality.
  5. Science without humanity.
  6. Worship without sacrifice.
  7. Politics without principle.

Parents and grandparents must take back our youth and return to them the one and only thing that will cure them — life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Some straight talk. Do people really care about the Arab refugees in Gaza? If so, which people? 

Do other Arab countries really care about the Arabs in Gaza? Does Hamas or the kleptocracy called the Palestinian Authority care about the Arabs in Gaza?

There is only one group of people who truly care about the Arabs in Gaza – they are the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces who are risking their lives to destroy the Hamas terror organization.

Can that really be the case? The very soldiers who are accused of committing genocide are actually liberating the Arabs in Gaza? That sounds absurd. Well, the lies and accusations peddled by most of the mass media are indeed patently absurd and that is why the truth seems to be the polar opposite of reality. Let’s take a closer look.

Imagine if you lived in a neighborhood where your elected political and security officials began tunneling under your apartment building and forcing you to ignore everything going on under your building. If you were to raise your voice in protest, you would be killed on the spot. So, you go along with it unhappily, knowing good and well, that the tunnels will be used to transport weapons and store missile launchers that will create a haven for terror. You know in your heart, that the digging under your building will lead to the digging of your grave when the inevitable response to missiles being launched from under your building will be a massive bombardment. Your are stuck and basically have no choice except to leave. But neighboring countries have closed their doors to you. This is the situation for a small, but not insignificant number of Arabs in Gaza. They truly should be helped. Their only hope is to be freed by the Israel Defense Forces as nobody else truly cares about them.

However, the vast majority of the Arabs in Gaza helped build the tunnels, supported the terror state build up and pray several times of day fervently for the destruction of the entire State of Israel and the Jewish people as a whole. They value their own lives less than they value killing Jews. It is hard to understand for most Western educated people. But the education of the majority of Arabs in Gaza did not include the enlightenment, the Bill of Rights, and concepts such as freedom of religion and press. The entire frame of reference is one of a Holy War, a jihad – not one of rights and privileges.

The most basic premise when analyzing Israel’s present reality is to realize that Israel has been fighting against its destruction from its very first day 75 years ago until today. There is no margin of error that allows Israel to take risks. The stakes are too high. All high-minded people who truly care about the poor Arab refugees should learn from Israel how to properly deal with an impossible problem and retain moral clarity in a world that is increasingly morally confused and filled with hypocrisy.

Despite War, Israel Ranks 5th in World Happiness Report

Despite five months of war with Hamas, Israel ranked fifth in the 2024 World Happiness Report.

The annual report ranked the happiness of 143 countries based on life evaluation, positive emotions, and negative emotions, among other factors.

Anat Panti, a happiness policy researcher at Bar-Ilan University University in Ramat Gan, explained, “Even this year, which was one of the most difficult in the country’s history, Israel is ranked in the top five of the international happiness index.”

The reason for this lies in the fact that life satisfaction, the index by which the level of happiness is measured, is a stable index over time and refers more to the characteristics of the country itself such as the strength of the economy, the degree of social involvement, and the health services in the country, than to fleeting feelings.”

Finland was ranked as the happiest country for the seventh consecutive year. Israel finished behind Denmark, Iceland and Sweden.

Afghanistan edged Lebanon as the least happy country.

“In order to give a more accurate picture of the state of happiness in all countries, the editors of the report refer to the average life satisfaction in the last three years when calculating the ranking. Therefore, Israel’s ranking in fifth place in the happiness report marks the stability in life satisfaction in Israel over the last few years, and not only in this one,” Panti explained.

“For example, even during the Corona period, which was traumatic all over the world, it was still possible to see that the top ten of the global happiness ranking includes more or less the same countries every year.”

The annual report is based on data from US market research company Gallup, and analyzed by international experts led by the University of Oxford.

In addition to self-assessed evaluations of life satisfaction, analysts also assess each country’s healthy life expectancy, freedom, GDP per capita, social support and more.

The installed Marxist in the White House Joe Biden emulates the Cuban and Venezuelan economies with his copy cat plans.

Biden’s policies have placed the same pressures on the American economy in lockstep with Cuban citizens who are also feeling the consequences of a government controlled economy.

Inflation is crushing the backs of the Cuban people and they lack basic food like bread which is running out. Inflation is also crushing the American middle class.

The Communist Cuban government also control electricity which is the poster child of a future generation of Americans if we continue to allow this Communist madness to continue in our own country.

California and New York are well on their way to being ran by dictators with their economies mirroring that of Cuba and Venezuela. Electricity in California will eventually be under government control.

Natural gas is banned from new construction projects in New York exemplifying the Communist commitment to control your energy needs much like in Cuba and Venezuela.

Beatriz Johnson is the handpicked Communist who heads the Communist Party in Santiago de Cuba.

She had to climb onto a roof of a government owned house on Sunday March 17th 2024 to calm down hundreds of angry Cubans who were screaming for electricity and food.

The Cuban people are sick and tired of Communism as are the citizens of California and New York.

500,000 Cubans fled their homeland for the United States and many also fled to Colombia, Peru, Brazil etc.

Californians and New Yorkers are leaving their states too in droves abandoning these Communist ran enclaves which is collapsing the California middle class dream. California’s loss is a gain for Florida, Nevada, Texas etc.

The Communist government in Cuba interfered with wages by controlling how much Cubans could make much like government interference in the United States that is forcing $15-20 an hour minimum wage for unskilled labor. This drives inflation creating $20 Big Macs.

The solution to overcome poverty is capitalism, hard work, sweat equity and saving money for a better future for your children. The President of Argentina just made this same statement.

Don’t look for a government controlled economy advocated by Communists like Maduro in Venezuela, Biden and Bernie Sanders in the USA to help you.

Seek freedom under capitalism and free markets and move the useless government out of the way. Vote Trump in November 2024.

Hunter Biden Ex-Business Partners To Go Scorched Earth On Bidens, House Democrats In Testimony

Several of Hunter Biden’s ex-business partners are planning to go scorched earth on the first son and his father, President Joe Biden and House Democrats during a congressional hearing on Wednesday, according to opening statements obtained by the Daily Caller.

As a part of the the House Oversight and Accountability committee’s investigation into President Biden’s potential involvement into Hunter’s foreign business, Tony Bobulinski and Jason Galanis will appear for a testimony on Tuesday. Bobulinski blasted those who have criticized his character through his testimonials and Galanis detailed the value the Biden name brought to business deals, according to opening statements obtained by the Daily Caller.

“The Biden defenders’ outrageous dishonesty and vile attempts at assassinating my character are as predictable as they are disgusting,” Bobulinski wrote. “As a former Naval officer, I do not understand this world of partisan outrage and insanity; I struggle to process it, and I despise it.”

Bobulinski went on to detail his previous business career and military experience while stressing the importance of the hearing for the American people, the opening statement says. Hunter Biden’s former business partner claimed President Biden was the “brand” being sold, the testimony says.

“I want to be crystal clear: from my direct personal experience and what I have subsequently come to learn, it is clear to me that Joe Biden was ‘the Brand’ being sold by the Biden family,” Bobulinski added. “His family’s foreign influence peddling operation — from China to Ukraine and elsewhere — sold out to foreign actors who were seeking to gain influence and access to Joe Biden and the United States government.”

Galanis, who is currently in federal prison on unrelated fraud charges, echoed Bobulinski’s remarks, detailing the value he thought then Vice-President Joe Biden brought to the business world, the opening statement says.

“The entire value-add of Hunter Biden to our business was his family name and his access to his father, Vice President Joe Biden. Because of this access, I agreed to contribute equity ownership to them — Hunter and Devon — for no out-of-pocket cost from them in exchange for their ‘relationship capital,’” Galanis said in an opening statement.

Hunter Biden was also invited to the Wednesday hearing, though he turned down the opportunity despite previously asking for a public testimony. The first son originally testified in front of Congress in a closed-door deposition.

The first son was originally subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee in November in an effort to get Hunter Biden to appear at a closed-door deposition so he could be interrogated on his foreign business dealings. Rather than attending the briefing, Hunter Biden marched to the Capitol and held a press conference outside of the building on Dec. 13, the day of the scheduled closed-door deposition. 

During his press conference, the first son noted that he would testify publicly, an offer his lawyer previously made the committee. Hunter Biden went on to blast Republicans for bringing an impeachment inquiry against his father while denying that President Biden was ever involved in his business dealings. 

When turning down the committee’s invitation for a public hearing, David Lowell, Hunter Biden’s lawyer, called it a “blatant planned-for-media event.”

“Your blatant planned-for-media event is not a proper proceeding but an obvious attempt to throw a Hail Mary pass after the game has ended. Let me remind you of a statement you made about how witnesses—and specifically Mr. Biden—could satisfy your prior requests,” Lowell wrote in the letter obtained by the Daily Caller.

“At your press conference after the January 10, 2024, Committee hearing to hold Mr. Biden in contempt, you stated: ‘All we need are people to come in for the depositions and then we’ll be finished. We just need people to show up to the depositions and we’ll wrap this up. Nobody wants to wrap this up more than I do.’ Mr. Biden did just as you asked and, as you did when you announced that witnesses could choose depositions, you want to ignore what you said,” Lowell continued.

During his closed-door deposition, Hunter Biden frequently stated, at least 29 times, that he “did not recall” certain details about his foreign business dealings. What the the first son could recall was one key detail: that his father was not involved.

“I am here today to provide the committees with the one uncontestable fact that should end the false premise of this inquiry: I did not involve my father in my business, not while I was a practicing lawyer, not in my investments or transactions, domestic or international, not as a board member, and not as an artist, never,” Hunter Biden said in his opening remarks during his testimony.

The Supreme Court of the State of Washington has ruled that prospective lawyers will no longer be required to pass a bar exam to practice in the state.

The decision was reportedly made because the bar exam was too difficult for “examinees of color.”

Washington Supreme Court Rules That Bar Exam No Longer A Requirement To Practice Law, Cites Impact On “Marginalized Groups”

The Washington State Supreme Court has ruled that the bar exam is no longer a requirement for prospective lawyers. On Friday, The Bar Licensure Task Force explained that the bar is “minimally effective for ensuring competency” and “disproportionally and unnecessarily blocks marginalized groups from becoming practicing attorneys.”

According to The Spokesman-Review, after appointing the task force in 2020 to assess “disproportionate impacts on examinees of color and first-generation examinees,” the courts agreed to substitute the exam with “experiential-learning alternatives.”

The task force was made up of over 50 groups of representatives and “examined the character and fitness process for lawyer licensure.”

Although students have historically interned under another lawyer before becoming attorneys, they still had to pass the bar to get their license to practice. Under the new guidelines, lawyers can forgo the bar, first administered in Delaware in 1783, by participating in a six-month apprenticeship and finishing three courses.

Additionally, students must complete a minimum of three hours of legal work per week and 12 skills credits as licensed legal interns, garnering up to 500 hours of law experience before graduation to complete their portfolios.

The eligibility to become a licensed law practitioner will also extend to law clerks even if they haven’t finished law school by completing 500 hours of work as a licensed legal intern and “completing standardized educational materials and benchmarks under the guidance of a mentoring attorney.”

Stephanopoulos said the former president was found liable for rape several times

Presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump is suing ABC News and George Stephanopoulos for defamation after the ABC News host said several times on air that the former president was “found liable for rape” during a heated March 10 interview with Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C.

Mace, a rape survivor, says she felt personally attacked when Stephanopoulos, a former top aide to President Bill Clinton, asked how she could support Trump’s White House bid. Stephanopoulos said Trump was found “liable for rape” 10 times during the exchange.

A federal jury in New York decided that Trump was not liable for rape but was liable for sexual abuse and defamation in the 2023 civil trial of advice columnist E. Jean Carroll vs. Trump. The former president has called the verdict a “disgrace,” and denied all wrongdoing.

The lawsuit, filed Monday in Florida, claims Stephanopoulos’ statements are “false” and were made with “actual malice or with a reckless disregard for the truth given that Defendant Stephanopoulos knows these statements are patently and demonstrably false.” The court document then noted that a jury “expressly found that Plantiff did not commit rape.”

The suit notes that Trump representatives contacted ABC seeking a retraction following the interview, but the Disney-owned news outlet failed to apologize or correct the record.

“Since making such false, malicious, and defamatory statements, many news and press outlets have continued to quote Stephanopoulos by wrongfully broadcasting that Plaintiff was found liable for rape,” Trump’s lawyers wrote.

Trump’s team has requested a jury trial.

Illegal Immigrant Can Carry Guns: Federal Judge

An illegal immigrant was wrongly banned from possessing guns, according to a recent ruling.

A federal law, Section 922 of Title 18 of the U.S. Code, bars illegal immigrants from carrying guns or ammunition. Prosecutors charged Heriberto Carbajal-Flores, the illegal alien, in 2020 after he was found in Chicago carrying a semi-automatic pistol despite “knowing he was an alien illegally and unlawfully in the United States.”

U.S. District Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman rejected two motions to dismiss, but the third motion, based on a 2022 U.S. Supreme Court ruling, triggered the dismissal of the case on March 8.

“The noncitizen possession statute, 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(5), violates the Second Amendment as applied to Carbajal-Flores,” Judge Coleman, appointed under President Barack Obama, wrote in her 8-page ruling. “Thus, the court grants Carbajal-Flores’ motion to dismiss.”

Lawyers for Mr. Carbajal-Flores had argued in the most recent motion to dismiss that the government could not show that the law in question was “part of the historical tradition that delimits the outer bounds of the right to keep and bear arms.”

In 2022, the Supreme Court determined that the U.S. Constitution’s Second Amendment “presumptively protects” conduct that is covered by the amendment’s “plain text.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today (Tuesday, 19 March 2024), made the following remarks at the start of his meeting with the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee [translated from Hebrew]:

“We are in a dual campaign – a military campaign and a diplomatic campaign. Of course, they are inter-connected, the diplomatic fight gives us the time and the resources to reach the full results of the war.

We have been fighting for over five months, this is a record in the history of Israel’s wars, except for the War of Independence. We are – of course – under growing international pressure, which we are rejecting in order to achieve the goals of the war. The goals of the war are, to be succinct: The destruction or elimination of Hamas’s military and governing capabilities, the release of all of our hostages and ensuring that Gaza never again constitutes a threat to Israel.

In order to do this, we need to complete the military elimination of Hamas. There is no alternative to this. We cannot go around it; neither can we say ‘We will destroy 80% of Hamas and leave 20%’, because from that 20%, they will reorganize and take over the Strip again and – of course – constitute a new threat to Israel. And of course, this will be a victory for the greater axis that threatens us – the Iranian axis.

Therefore, we are determined to complete the elimination of Hamas. This requires the elimination of the remaining battalions in Rafah and – of course – the 1.5 battalions in the camps in the center. We are determined to do this. We have a debate that I will put on the table, and we all know it. US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan also said this yesterday. We have a debate with the Americans over the need to enter Rafah, not over the need to eliminate Hamas, but the need to enter Rafah. We see no way to eliminate Hamas militarily without destroying these remaining battalions. We are determined to do this.

Out of respect for the President, we agreed on a way in which they can present us with their ideas, especially on the humanitarian side; of course, we fully share this desire to facilitate an orderly exit of the population and the providing of humanitarian aid to the civilian population. We have been doing this since the beginning of the war.

However, I made it as clear as possible to the President that we are determined to complete the elimination of these battalions in Rafah, and there is no way to do this without a ground incursion.”

How Very Fitting: Satan Endorses the Palestinian Cause

When Satan endorses your cause, you just might not have the moral high ground, but it is certain that no lessons have been learned from a recent imbroglio in Phoenix. A drag performer who calls herself (that’s the pronoun in the news stories, but you never know what it might mean these days; she does, however, appear to be female in her video about this event) “Daddy Satan” was set to be the featured performer at a “Drag Show for Palestine” in Phoenix on Saturday evening, but this gala display of unintentionally revealing virtue-signaling was canceled after a “backlash.” Why, that’s staggering. Who could possibly have objected to such a splendid display of leftist lunacy?

CBS 12 in Phoenix reported Monday that the sad news of the cancellation came from “Daddy Satan” herself. Ms. Satan, who says she is a “‘Proud Biracial, Pansexual, Chameleon’ Drag Demon,” had been scheduled to perform at an event that would also have featured the cutting-edge cultural trailblazers and stunning and brave drag queens “Pissunderstood” and “Jacon The Box.” This celebration of depravity, perversion and insanity was going to kick off at six PM on Saturday at Palabras Bilingual Bookstore in Phoenix, and was billed as a “night of Drag and Community as we gather at Palabras Book Store in solidarity with Palestine.”

Alas, the voices of what the left calls hatred, heteronormativity and racism, that is, the voices of common sense and sanity, spoiled the party. Satan first thanked everyone who had been involved in the event and then dived into full-throttle victimhood mode: “To everyone facing bullying as a result I am so so very sorry! My intentions were to raise awareness, bring joy to activists, and express our grief/anger/and hopes within community. And I never intended for anyone to get caught in the crossfires of hate, especially @palabras_bookstore – I can’t thank them enough for all they’ve done and I’m so sorry for the way people are throwing hate towards them.”

Ms. Satan went on to tell address those whom she called “my lovely Drag entertainers,” saying: “you were meant to help people process this terrible time in history and give us hope and joy so that we may all join in on and continue the fight for Justice. You all don’t deserve the hate that has come about and for that I am truly sorry.” What “hate” did Daddy Satan and her cohorts actually receive? She doesn’t mention anything actually illegal, such as threats. It seems that all they got was some pushback about how insane the event really was.

Satan addressed that “hate” forthrightly: “A majority of the comments were the same,” she said. “A lot of them were ‘why don’t you try this drag show in Palestine and see what they think of you?’ I don’t need to go to another country to see how they may treat queers. The way they treat queer people in America is terrifying enough.” Responding to people who were apparently telling her that the prevailing religion in “Palestine” wouldn’t exactly welcome her and her ilk, she insisted magnanimously that “anyone can have a different belief system than me. People can even hate queers all they want – but I will never condone genocide just because someone is different. And that is why I will continue on to the next big thing. A FREE PALESTINE MEANS A FREE WORLD.”

Well, that’s swell. But it’s not just that the Gazans “have a different belief system.” Islam mandates death for homosexuality, in accord with the command of Muhammad: “Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Lot, execute the one who does it and the one to whom it is done” (Sunan Abu Dawud 4462). Recently a Muslim cleric in Britain said that Allah had not granted victory to the Palestinians because there were too many homosexuals at pro-Palestinian rallies in the West.

In light of that, Ms. Satan’s Drag Show for Palestine was not only wrongheaded; it was downright stupid, as is the organization “Queers for Palestine.” It was, however, refreshingly forthright that a drag performer calling herself “Daddy Satan” would come out so strongly for the Palestinian cause. After all, those who are calling for a ceasefire today are calling for Hamas to survive, and if Hamas survives, there will be many more massacres of Israelis on the order of the savagery we saw on Oct. 7. Satan endorses Palestine? How very fitting.

REPORT: Biden Regime Providing Interest Free Loans to Illegals Aliens to Travel to America

A reader sent us an email with a link to a Law Enforcement Today article by: Noah Webster.

DL wrote in the email, “Not just interest-free; there is no penalty if they don’t pay them back. According to the article, free money for mortgages, too. We should all leave the country and come back illegally. But ‘We The People”‘ would probably be tossed in jail. In the comments section of the article, people are demanding we detach from the UN over this.”

Biden regime in cahoots with UN in providing interest free loans to illegals to travel to the US

WASHINGTON, DC- Despite the ridiculous border situation, The Liberty Daily reports that the Biden regime is apparently lending money overseas to illegal aliens so they can enter the country illegally. In the meantime, millions of Americans struggle to pay for their basic needs every week.

The administration is working in cahoots with the United Nations IOM Migration Program, along with the United States Refugee Admissions Program, to hand out taxpayer money to illegal aliens to assist them in getting to the United States. Oh, and the “loans” never have to be paid back.

The program’s website offers “penalty and interest-free loans” to anyone wishing to come to the United States. American citizens pay 7.5% on mortgage loans if they are actually able to find a home to purchase. The illegals are only required to sign a “promissory note” agreeing to pay back the loan prior to leaving their country of origin. If they don’t pay back the loan, it’s no problem since there are no penalties attached.

“IOM arranges travel for refugees using funds furnished by the Department of State and is mandated to subsequently receive refugees repayments on behalf of the Department of State,” the website states. Again, there are no penalties attached for nonpayment.

“Repayments made are remitted to a revolving fund created between the Department of State and IOM for use by the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) to defray the cost of future refugee travel.”

One might think that with Republicans in charge of the House and therefore having the “power of the purse,” they could defund this program. Thus far, Republicans have not chosen to do so. That fact got some “X” users fired up.

“Why does the House fund these programs?” one X user asked. “CALL your representatives and tell them to STOP funding the INVASION–make yourselves HEARD.”

Another asked, “How is this not treason?”

Among the stated goals of the UN’s IOM program (why the hell are we still in the UN?) is to protect illegals who invade our country from being exploited by “abusive and predatory lending markets.”

The days when building your credit was worthwhile and rewarded are long gone. The answer is no longer if you illegally enter the country.

The program initially started back in 1958, and at that time, arriving refugees had to repay the loans, with that being a condition of admittance to the United States. Now, illegals are receiving the equivalent of PPP loans given out during the pandemic that were not required to be paid back.

Another poster on X asked, “Is there no limit to how criminal the American government is?”

“This is treacherous actions against U.S. citizens,” said another. “Attempting to implement UN ‘migration rights’ with no respect for nation’s sovereignty. End UN membership. Toss them out of the U.S. Lockdown ALL borders.”

Still, others wondered how the Biden regime gets away with operating in such a lawless manner while “nobody does anything” about it.

‘This is pure treachery, and it has to be stopped,” said another. “They are using taxpayer money to pay the way for illegals to get here.”

“Another reason NOT to extend the continuing resolution,” said another, referring to how Congress has been funding the budget for what seems like forever.

This is just another kick to the collective groin of American taxpayers.

Supreme Court Lets Texas Enforce Law Allowing Police To Arrest And Deport Illegal Immigrants

The Supreme Court allowed Texas’ law enabling local police to arrest illegal migrants to take effect Tuesday.

After extending a pause on the law multiple times, the Supreme Court allowed Texas’ SB 4 to take effect Tuesday, declining the Biden administration’s effort to halt it while litigation continues. The Department of Justice (DOJ) first filed its lawsuit against Texas to prevent enforcement of the law in January.

“The Court gives a green light to a law that will upend the longstanding federal-state balance of power and sow chaos, when the only court to consider the law concluded that it is likely unconstitutional,” Justice Sonia Sotomyaor wrote in a dissent joined by Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. “This law implicates serious issues that are subject to ongoing political debate, and Texas’s novel scheme requires careful and reasoned consideration in the courts to determine which provisions may be unconstitutional.”

Justice Elena Kagan also wrote in a dissent that she would not have allowed the law to take effect.

U.S. District Court Judge David Alan Ezra, a Reagan appointee, blocked Texas’ law from taking effect in February, finding it “threatens the fundamental notion that the United States must regulate immigration with one voice.” The Fifth Circuit issued an administrative stay early March allowing the law to take effect while it considered the appeal, prompting the Biden administration to file an emergency application with the Supreme Court.

“So far as I know, this Court has never reviewed the decision of a court of appeals to enter—or not enter—an administrative stay,” Justice Amy Coney Barrett wrote in a concurrence joined by Justice Brett Kavanaugh. “I would not get into the business.”

“Texas’s motion for a stay pending appeal was fully briefed in the Fifth Circuit by March 5, almost two weeks ago,” Barrett wrote. “Merits briefing on Texas’s challenge to the District Court’s injunction of S. B. 4 is currently underway. If a decision does not issue soon, the applicants may return to this Court.”

An unpleasant life experience…

It’s not likely good news when your doorbell is rung at 2 in the morning.

But I’m getting ahead of myself. Two days ago our lawn crew came to Spring Clean our yard of pine needles, pine cones, etc. There was a substantial pile of debris that they piled on our concrete basketball patio.

I have carefully burned similar debris over 60 times in the last 15 years. I wait for a calm day when the wind is less than 5 MPH and blowing in the right direction. The fire is kept low and always 20+ feet from anything flammable. I keep a hose on hand in case anything unexpected happens. It hasn’t in fifteen years.

FYI, when I was younger and still living at my family home, the house caught fire in the middle of the night (due to a TV malfunction), and was totally destroyed. No one got hurt, but we lost almost everything. As such I’m hyper-sensitive to fires.

Yesterday, was a nice calm day that met all the criteria, so I burned the debris. Before I went to bed I did a final check: the wind was still low, blowing in the right direction, and nothing but some ashes remained. There was no smoke or noticeable embers.

However, about two hours later, the wind suddenly reversed direction, and started blowing quite hard! I didn’t realize this as I was asleep.

So the doorbell rang at 2 AM last night (3-19-24). I woke up from a deep sleep and went to the front door. A thought crossed my mind: should I even open the door to some unknown stranger at this time of night? I did anyway.

A man stood there and shouted: there is a large fire next to your house! I’ve already called the fire department. I said OK, TY — there’s a connected hose next to the house.

I got my outdoor clothes on. Between our home and the next-door neighbor’s there are several trees, and a variety of wild plants. Here is a daytime pix, from the street.

The building near the water is a 3/4 scale play house, about 50 feet from the fence. The fire was coming away from that direction.

Anyway, I didn’t have time to take a pix so this is a stock photo that looks somewhat like what I saw when I went outside in the pitch dark (our situation was worse).

I then became aware that the wind was blowing a LOT — like 40 MPH! Hundreds of embers were flying with the wind. The 20-foot buffer had been breached, as embers were flying 30 feet or more…

My initial assessment concluded that (due to the wind direction) our house was not threatened, but the next-door neighbor’s was. I took the hose and started spraying — which did make a difference. I knew then we had a chance of being successful here.

The other guy went to see if the next-door house was catching fire, as fires were flaring up on their property. Fortunately, their driveway acted as a fire break, and the house hadn’t caught fire yet. He looked for a hose on their property, and found one — but their exterior faucet had been shut off. No one was home there.

He brought the hose he found there, connected it to mine, and worked on the fire from the neighbor’s direction. We have a 50-gallon rain barrel that was full (on the far side of our house), so I started filling up some two-gallon buckets, carrying them back, and dumping them on the worst spots. Many times.

In the meantime, several fire department trucks had arrived. By that time, the two of us had succeeded in reducing the fires. The firemen took over, using our hose, and finished the job. They never had to get out their main hose.

It seemed longer, but from when the doorbell rang, it took about an hour to extinguish the fire. The firemen then asked me if I could take it from there, and I said yes, I would keep an eye on things, as the wind was still blowing strongly. Then they left.

The person who rang our bell then told me that he had to go. I said I wanted to give him a donation ($100) for his help. He declined. I insisted, he refused — and then he simply disappeared into the dark night. I have no idea who he is…

We live on a short, dead-end street. This guy was not a neighbor, as I know them all. Who would be going down a short dead-end street at 2 AM? All I know is that things would have been MUCH worse if he hadn’t been going by, and stopped to help.

There are several takeaways, like no matter what the wind situation is, I’ll drown the ashes before going to bed. (BTW, I didn’t as it was never a problem in the prior 60± times, and by letting the ashed continue to cook, the next morning about half of the remaining ashes were gone.)

Another is that despite the very threatening situation, the only loss we had was to several parts of our wood fence that encircles the yard. Here is a sample pix, of just one section, from this morning.

There is a substantial amount of ground cover that is blackened, but with Spring here, in a month or so probably none if it will be noticed.

Of course I lost a good night sleep, and one eye feels scratchy — probably from my being immersed in the smoke for too long. Hopefully it is temporary.

What’s the Big Picture takeaway? On the one hand, such a fire was certainly BAD news. On the other hand, this stranger just appearing (and then disappearing) was certainly GOOD news.

I’m an optimist and a half-glass-full person.

I’m a believer in God, and that He can choose to step in whenever He deems it appropriate. I choose to believe that is what happened here.
