A spokesperson for the Vermont Department of Health confirms to Breitbart News that “three refugees [have been] diagnosed with TB in Vermont over the past seven months.”

One case was diagnosed in December 2015, and the other two cases were diagnosed in 2016.

No one other than a refugee has been diagnosed with active TB in Vermont during the first six months of 2016, the spokesperson adds.

The stunning admission comes after Breitbart News reported that the number of active TB cases in Vermont tripled from two in 2014 to seven in 2015.

I don’t want to become an expert on refugee health, but you might be interested if you have some connection to the medical field or are in regular close contact with the refugees newly arriving in the US.

Just now I had a look at the Centers for Disease Control guidelines for refugee health screening and what I don’t get is this: refugees are domestically screened between 30 and 90 days of arrival.  How many people have interacted or come in contact with a refugee family and then don’t learn for 30 to 90 days that someone in the family has TB (or HIV or parasites or other transmittable health conditions)?

The Truth-Telling Video About Jihad That YouTube Doesn’t Want You To See

Washington, D.C. – For ten years the world’s largest and most powerful Sharia-supremacist organization – not the Islamic State, not al Qaeda, not even the Muslim Brotherhood, but the Organization of Islamic Cooperation – has worked to compel the entire world to observe Sharia blasphemy restrictions.  In 2010, with help from Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, they succeeded in getting the UN Human Rights Council to adopt Resolution 16/18 which effectively calls on every nation to prohibit expression that offends Muslims and to punish those who do so.

The European Union adopted highly restrictive “hate speech” bans.  A number of the continent’s most prominent freedom-fighters have been prosecuted under these laws.

In 2011, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced that, notwithstanding the First Amendment, the U.S. government would use “old-fashioned techniques of shaming and peer pressure” to discourage such expression.

In response at least in part to such official pressure about offending Muslims, perhaps combined with corporate preferences, social media giants including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube recently announced the implementation of new “hate speech” prohibitions on their platforms.  Ostensibly, they would impede the extensive use IS and other terrorists have been making of their services.

It was predictable, however, that these new media organizations would wind up censoring those whom Islamists abhor – especially, those who tell the truth about and, therefore, help impede the Shariah-supremacists’ global jihad movement and agenda.

A case in point was the recent removal by YouTube of a powerful new video produced by the Center for Security Policy’s Counter Jihad Campaign.

Obama whistleblower: Terror-linked Muslim groups helping set policy, costing lives

Malfeasance on a grand scale. I detailed in my 2013 book Arab Winter Comes to America how the Fort Hood and Boston Marathon jihad massacres could have been prevented, were it not for politically correct willful ignorance at the highest levels. And now Philip Haney is revealing that the situation is even worse than was previously known.

Last week I testified before the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Oversight, Agency Action, Federal Rights and Federal Courts at a hearing entitled, “Willful Blindness: Consequences of Agency Efforts To Deemphasize Radical Islam in Combating Terrorism.”

I am a recently retired Customs & Border Protection (CBP) agent. I was named a Founding Member of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) at its inception on March 01, 2003. During my 12 years serving inside DHS under two administrations, I witnessed a series of events which ultimately prompted me to become a whistleblower, releasing critical documents to Members of Congress as I felt necessary to comply with my oath to the Constitution.

First, in January of 2008, I received what is now known as the “Words Matter Memo,” which was circulated internally by the Civil Rights and Civil Liberties (CRCL) division of DHS. The full title of the document was “Terminology to Define the Terrorists: Recommendations from American Muslims,” and it read in part:

 [T]he experts counseled caution in using terms such as, “jihadist,” “Islamic terrorist,” “Islamist,” and “holy warrior” as grandiose descriptions.

Collapsing all terrorist organizations into a single enemy feeds the narrative that al-Qaeda represents Muslims worldwide.

We should not concede the terrorists’ claim that they are legitimate adherents of Islam. Therefore, when using the word [Islamic], it may be strategic to emphasize that many so-called “Islamic” terrorist groups twist and exploit the tenets of Islam to justify violence and to serve their own selfish political aims.

Regarding jihad, even if it is accurate to reference the term (putting aside polemics on its true nature), it may not be strategic because it glamorizes terrorism, imbues terrorists with religious authority they do not have, and damages relations with Muslims around the globe.

I submitted a seven-point response listing serious substantive concerns about this memo, but received no response.

On November 24, 2008, a decision came down in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial, the largest terror financing case in American history. During that trial, the federal government had established that a number of organizations were appropriately named as unindicted co-conspirators along with HLF, including the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT).

Specifically, the judge ruled that federal prosecutors had “produced ample evidence to establish the associations of CAIR, ISNA and NAIT with HLF… and with Hamas.” In addition, the judge ruled that that these organizations had direct links to the Muslim Brotherhood, one of the oldest and largest Islamic fundamentalist organizations in the world, founded in 1928 in Egypt to reestablish the Caliphate, whose motto includes“Jihad is our way, and death in the service of Allah is the loftiest of our wishes.”

I made note of the decision, and explored links between these groups and potential extremist and terrorist activity. But on October 15, 2009, I was ordered by DHS to ‘modify’ linking information in about 820 subject records in the Treasury Enforcement Communications System, or “TECS records” to remove ‘unauthorized references to terrorism.’ I was further ordered not to input any more Memoranda of Information Received, or MOIRs, to create no more TECS records, and to do no further research on the topics I was exploring.

On November 5, 2009, at Ft. Hood, Texas, Nidal Hasan shot and killed 13 people, including one who was pregnant, and wounded 32 others, while calling out “Allahu Akbar!” meaning “God is great” in Arabic.

Hassan was a U.S. Army major who had exchanged emails with leading al Qaeda figure Anwar Awlaki – which the FBI had seen and decided not to take action – in which he asked whether those attacking fellow U.S. soldiers were martyrs. He had also given a presentation to Army doctors discussing Islam and suicide bombers during which he argued Muslims should be allowed to leave the armed forces as conscientious objectors to avoid “adverse events.” The Pentagon refused for five years to grant victims Purple Hearts, designating the attack “workplace violence.”

On January 27-28, 2010 an ‘Inaugural Meeting’ occurred between American Muslim leaders and DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, hosted by DHS CRCL. The Inaugural Meeting created controversy because it included a number of Islamic fundamentalist individuals and organizations.

For instance, the meeting included at least one organization that was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2008 HLF Trial and established to have associations with the now-shuttered HLF and with Hamas, namely ISNA. According to the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT), the group’s representative who attended the meeting, Ingrid Mattson, has “an established pattern of minimizing the nature of extremist forms of Islam and rationalizing the actions of Islamist terrorist movements.” Another invited group, the Muslim American Society (MAS), was actually formed as the United States chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1993.

Likewise, in the Spring of 2010, the Administration convened the Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Working Group under the authority of the Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC), again raising questions because of those named to it.

They included Omar Alomari, who once wrote that jihad was “the benign pursuit of personal betterment. It may be applied to physical conflict for Muslims, but only in the arena of Muslims defending themselves when attacked or when attempting to overthrow oppression and occupation,” asserting further that “”Jihad as a holy war is a European invention, spread in the West”; Mohamed Elibiary, who has asserted that it was “inevitable that [the] ‘Caliphate’ returns” and ultimately was let go from the HSAC amid charges he misused classified documents; and Dahlia Mogahed, who has decried“lethal cocktail of liberty and capitalism” and holds that “Islamic terrorism’ is really a contradiction in terms” to mainstream Muslims “because terrorism is not Islamic by definition.”

So by the Spring of 2010, we had come to the point that a CBP Officer was literally removing information connecting the dots on individuals with ties to known terror-linked groups from TECS, while the Administration was bringing the same individuals into positions of influence, to help create and implement our counter-terror policy, in the context of actual terror attacks taking place.

On August 30, 2011, the DHS Chief Council approved a project I initiated looking into Islamic fundamentalist group Tablighi Jamaat (TJ). On November 15, 2011, I began a temporary duty assignment at the National Targeting Center (NTC). A short time later, I was assigned to the Advanced Targeting Team, where I worked exclusively on the TJ Project, which was quickly upgraded to a global-level case.

On March 15, 2012, seven lawyers and three senior executive service (SES) administrators met with management personnel at the NTC to express concern for our focus on TJ, because it is not a designated terrorist group, and therefore the project might be “discriminating” against its members because they are Muslim. On June-July, 2012, the TJ Initiative was ‘taken in another direction,’ (i.e. shut down). The Administration took this action despite the fact that [1] in nine months, we had conducted 1,200 law enforcement actions, [2] I was formally commended for finding 300 individuals with possible connections to terrorism, and [3] 25% of the individuals in Guantanamo Bay had known links to Tablighi Jamaat.

On August 22, 2012, The Institute of Islamic Education (IIE) case that today links both the Darul Uloom Al-Islamiya mosque attended by Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, the San Bernardino shooters, and the Fort Pierce mosque attended by Omar Mateen, the Orlando shooter, was entered into TECS. But once again, on September 21, 2012, all 67 records in the IIE case were completely deleted (not just ‘modified’) from TECS.

On September 21, 2014, I was relieved of my service weapon, all access to TECS and other programs was suspended, my Secret Clearance was revoked, and I was sequestered for the last 11 months of my career with no assigned duties.

On December 2, 2015, the San Bernardino shootings occurred, and I immediately linked the mosque in San Bernardino to the IIE case (with the 67 deleted records), and to the Tablighi Jamaat case (which was shut down).

On June 09, 2016, the Homeland Security Advisory Council Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Subcommittee issued an Interim Report and Recommendations. The report recommended in part using American English instead of religious, legal and cultural terms like “jihad,” “sharia,” “takfir” or “umma.”

On June 12, 2016, the shootings in Orlando occurred, and I linked Omar Mateen’s mosque in Fort Pierce, FL to the IIE & TJ case. And on June 19, 2016, Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced that her Department of Justice would release redacted 9-11 call transcripts for Mr. Mateen.

The threat of Islamic terrorism does not just come from a network of armed organizations such as Hamas and ISIS, who are operating ‘over there’ in the Middle East. In fact, branches of the same global network have been established here in America, and they are operating in plain sight, at least to those of us who have been charged with the duty of protecting our country from threats, both foreign and domestic….

The upscale neighborhood at Lake Calhoun is only 5 miles from the Cedar Riverside Somali enclave  in downtown Minneapolis.

We first mentioned this incredible scary story a couple of days ago pointing out that the mainstream media never reports news like this nationally, but here we learn from World Net Daily reporter, Leo Hohmann, who spoke with the primary target of the confrontation as at least 20 Somali men (self proclaimed jihadists) swarmed a neighborhood outside of Minneapolis, what happened on THREE separate occasions in the escalating “jihad” on a lakeside community.

Many outrageous and frightening things were shouted by Somali men, some of whom were dressed in traditional Islamic robes.

They said they practiced shariah law and could thus kidnap and rape the attractive target of their abusive language.

They were yelling the word “jihad” from their car windows as they careened across lawns and sidewalks.

They blasted the soundtrack of a woman being sexually assaulted from a car.

They carried duffel bags, held them as if they were guns and shot off bottle rockets to make the sounds of gun shots.

And, that is just a bit of what happened as this neighborhood was terrorized last week.

You must read the whole incredible story from the mouth of the primary victim and from other witnesses who confirmed the story to World New Daily.

Where is the Minneapolis Star Tribune? Where is the New York Times? Where is CNN? Where is Fox News? The whole country should be informed of what happens when a Muslim Somali population grows large enough to boldly attack the peace and quiet of a suburban neighborhood with shouts of “jihad.”

Somalis did not ‘find their way’ to Minnesota from East Africa!

If you are a new reader here today, know that the reason the Somali population is so high in Minnesota is because the UN/US State Department began resettling tens of thousands there over more than 25 years with the help initially of Catholic Charities, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service and World Relief (Evangelicals).  There are now other federal contractors working day and night (along with the original three) to change Minnesota one town at a time!

If you live in towns newly contemplating ‘welcoming’ refugees from the Muslim world, take note!  Asheville, NC, Charleston, WV, Missoula, MT, Rutland, VT, Reno, NV, Fayetteville, AR etc… are you paying attention!

The feds and their contractors may tell you they will only bring your town a certain ethnic group, do not believe them, you will get a mix of refugees from all over the world, including Somalis!  About 750 additional Somalis arrive in the U.S. each month from all over the world!

Islam’s Inexorable Impulse by Matthew Hanley

We have ample occasion these days to be reminded that Christian martyrs can be a catalyst for a new rebirth. You know: “the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church.” There is undeniable historical truth to that, but unfortunately there is another way, pace Tertullian, to look at it: the blood of the martyrs also builds up the house of Islam.

Some may have heard that Islam “spread by the sword” way back when. Fewer realize the extent to which the unremitting threat of bloodshed and other indignities against those who break rank has provided more than sufficient inducement for inhabitants of vast swathes subjugated territories to remain Muslim. The stunted horizons imposed upon those masses down through the generations – an attenuated form of suffering – compounds the initial iniquity visited upon the slaughtered innocents.

Indeed, some leading figures in the Muslim world openly maintain that if the death penalty for apostasy were not built into Islam, it would not have originally become so entrenched and may have even faded long ago. Even if that seems implausible, the fact that, for all its force, Islam leans so heavily on compulsion, paradoxically bespeaks a certain fragility.

Myth_Andalusian_Paradise-198x300The point is that once Islam gobbles up new lands (or establishes beachheads in pockets of the West today), it imposes a highly effective death grip – Iberia being the most notable reversal. And anyone who thinks that Spain under Muslim rule was a golden moment of harmonious, enlightened multiculturalism – the shibboleth most people have been fed– should read Dario Fernandez-Morera’s new goldmine of a book The Myth of the Andalusian Paradise: Muslims, Christians, and Jews under Islamic Rule in Medieval Spain.

When, for example, the reconquista reached Valencia (1238) and Granada (1492), there were virtually no Christian inhabitants left. Remember, it all started with a modest number of jihadists, but pressure to submit to the ways of Islam (the word sharia actually means “the way,” thereby signaling a clear departure from Christian thought) inexorably mounted when and where it could. As it always does.

How they came to subjugate and the conditions that characterized their rule will sound familiar: the beheadings, crucifixions, horrific sexual abuse, material confiscations, and so forth. It’s all there. And authoritatively documented. That alone is eye opening, but Fernandez-Morera further educates by exposing the underlying motivations for the false “model of tolerance” narrative – which mirror today’s maddening “Baghdad Bob” like denial of obvious reality in the face of self-proclaimed Islamic atrocities.

It’s time to ditch Obama’s entire ‘Countering Violent Extremism’ strategy

Last week, Senator Ted Cruz’s hearings graphically revealed the true extent of the Obama administration’s politically correct denial and willful ignorance concerning the nature and magnitude of the jihad threat and the ongoing attempts to assert Sharia principles and practices over those of American law and culture. DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson in particular demonstrated a contemptuous indifference to the importance of identifying the enemy ideology properly.

Meanwhile, the role of Muslim Brotherhood-allied groups in influencing the Obama administration and guiding its hamstringing and deforming our response to the jihad threat has never yet been adequately addressed. The worst manifestation of this baneful influence is the administration’s “Countering Violent Extremism” policy, which pretends that “right-wingers” are as much or more of a terror threat than Islamic jihadis — and generally ignores the existence of Islamic jihad altogether.

But tomorrow Reps. Kevin McCarthy and Mike McCaul plan to make things even worse. They’re pushing for a rule to bring up a bill that will give Jeh Johnson an Assistant Secretary whose job will be to “partner” with “communities” against “radical Islamist terrorism” — a slightly more accurate and truthful phrase than “violent extremism,” but unfortunately, not one that heralds a positive change: this new Assistant Secretary’s office will have at least a $10 million budget for this “partnering,” and its “partners” will almost certainly be Muslim Brotherhood-linked and Hamas-linked groups such as the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

Enough is enough. Americans are fed up with the Obama administration’s denial, willful ignorance, and pandering to Islamic supremacist groups. It’s time to repudiate the entire “Countering Violent Extremism” and call Islamic jihad what it is: Islamic jihad.

McCarthy and McCaul’s travesty has to be stopped. In its place, we need legislation that will bar individuals or groups linked with Hamas and/or the Muslim Brotherhood, and that were named unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation trial, from ever “partnering” with U.S. government organizations in any way, and from receiving federal grants for countering “radical Islamic terrorism,” “violent extremism,” or anything else.

And beyond that, we must put an end to the “Countering Violent Extremism” approach, and devise one for “Countering Jihad.” The key premises of the “Countering Violent Extremism” strategy — that Islam is a religion of peace that has nothing to do with “violent extremism”; that those who engage in violence in its name are twisting and hijacking its peaceful tenets; that jihad is an interior spiritual struggle that has nothing to do with violence; that mosques are entirely benign places of worship, akin to churches and synagogues, and that it would be “Islamophobic” to subject them to surveillance; that intelligence and law enforcement agents must work to win the “trust” of Muslim communities, rather than the other way around; and that “right-wing extremists” are more of a threat than violent (and stealth) jihadists — must be decisively and explicitly rejected.

What should be put in its place? Reality.

The U.S. government should recognize that there are aspects of Islamic law (Sharia) that are directly contradictory to Constitutional freedoms and protections, and make it clear that preaching and spreading those aspects of Islamic law in the U.S. will be regarded as sedition. It must recognize the ideology of the jihadis as rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and require U.S. mosques and Islamic schools to back up their pro-forma condemnations of jihad terror with genuine action, including honest and inspectable programs teaching against the ISIS/al-Qaeda understanding of Islam. Mosques must be monitored to ensure that sedition, violence, and hatred of unbelievers is not being preached. The government must also recognize that jihad and Islamic supremacism are global, and have no counterpart among returning veterans, Tea Party activists, etc.

The time is now. Please contact your Congressmen and exhort them to repudiate the McCarthy/McCaul initiative, and the entire “Countering Violent Extremism” superstructure. Obama’s fantasy-based policies are costing lives. One death for political correctness was one too many, and there have been many more than one. It is time to call a halt to this suicidal nonsense once and for all.

Despite the devastation being wrought throughout the globe by Islamic jihadists, and the accelerated threat to the West since the emergence of the Islamic State, Western leaders continue to minimize this threat, believe jihadist propaganda, and adhere to political correctness.

Jihadists were slaughtering long before the Islamic State appeared, but the Islamic State’s zeal for conquest and destruction have taken the savagery to new levels, particularly with the persuasiveness of its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who is well-grounded in Islamic theology and law, and wields them to stir fanaticism and militancy among his following.

Baghdadi — who has a Ph.D. in Islamic studies — is all the more dangerous particularly given the traditional rigidity of Islam, as Muslim scholars, leaders, mullahs and clerics are the only respected sources to interpret the immutable decrees of Islamic texts. Baghdadi is also well versed in the strategies of the more stealthy Muslim Brotherhood.

Leftist Westerners remain clueless as to the nature of this jihadist war against us. Former Department of Defense official Rich Higgins said in an interview that he knew that America was losing the war on terror when Omar Mateen pledged his allegiance to the Islamic State and went on his rampage at the Pulse nightclub. Higgins stated that jihadists are “‘weaponizing political correctness’ and using narratives to collapse our understanding of the enemy and how to battle them.”

Former Department of Defense official Rich Higgins knew America was losing the war on terror when a terrorist attacked the Pulse bar in Orlando, killing 49 people and injuring over 50.

Higgins’ sister-in-law asked him if he was doing all he could to fight this enemy after seeing the carnage of innocent life. Now, Higgins is taking considerable risk to speak truthfully about the lack of strategic policy in our government’s war on terror.

In this exclusive video interview with The Daily Caller News Foundation, the former Department of Defense official explains how Islamists are “weaponizing political correctness” and using narratives to collapse our understanding of the enemy and how to battle them.

His expertise is political warfare and developing strategies to battle against the ideologies and tactics used to carry out terror attacks.

Political warfare includes both non-violent and violent actions working in synthesis, Higgins says. The left, with enemy-friendly Muslim Brotherhood allies, is able to control the dominant cultural narrative with the media and the government, blinding us in the war on terror and impacting how Americans think, he argues.

Higgins calls for a “strategic and operational pause” in America’s misguided battle to stop the terror. He would, instead, ask new leadership to develop a comprehensive political warfare plan, while removing the subversive policies and personnel causing America to lose this paramount battle.

He cites the “purges” carried out by law enforcement and intelligence officials throughout government, which Phil Haney, Sebastian Gorka and Steve Coughlin have made public….

Michael Patrick Leahy has published one more investigative report on Tuberculosis in the U.S. refugee population. Go to our ‘health issues’ category by clicking here to see his previous reports.

Here is the latest, hot off the presses this morning:

Twenty-seven recently resettled refugees were among the 117 cases of active tuberculosis (TB) diagnosed in Wisconsin in 2014 and 2015, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. That makes the Badger State the new refugee TB capital of the United States.

Wisconsin replaces Louisiana as the state with the most reported cases of active TB among recently resettled refugees in the country.

As Breitbart News has reported previously, twenty-one cases of active TB were diagnosed among recently resettled refugees in Louisiana between 2011 and 2015.

Six other states have reported recently resettled refugees have been diagnosed with active TB: Florida (eleven), Colorado (ten), Idaho (seven), Indiana (four), Kentucky (nine in one county), and North Dakota (four in one county).

Wisconsin may not be the actual leader, though. Only eight of the forty nine states that resettle refugees under the federal refugee resettlement program have responded to Breitbart News requests to provide this important public health data, which resettlement agencies are required by law to monitor and report in each state.

Hillary Clinton cares more about Hillary Clinton than the safety and security of the United States. Since setting foot on the public stage back in her Arkansas days, Hillary Clinton has placed Hillary Clinton first and foremost – in everything!

Times may change but Hillary does not. Her use of unauthorized servers and hand-held devices outside the scope of what is considered “safe practices” for anyone with access to sensitive information has been alarming and bewildering, as drip by drip over the past year the American public has learned multiple discoveries of this woman’s careless and arrogant sociopathic actions. The impression she repeatedly delivered was that rules are for the “little people” not we Elites.

So…continuing with an aberrant behavior that was evident since the day she was fired during the 1974 Watergate Hearings in Congress as a Congressional Staff Assistant for lying and tampering with evidence, through her term as Arkansas First Lady onto the White House, then the U.S. Senate, then as U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton has taken care of, well…Hillary Clinton!

With all the disclosures related to her sending and receiving emails from unauthorized, unsecured, private servers of questionable sophistication and security monitoring, the American People continued to hold their collective breaths that maybe, just maybe an adult with real authority, integrity, and lack of timidity would confront this reckless, power-addicted, self-absorbed woman.

Across the fruited-plains and from sea to shining sea, citizens began to feel again that maybe, just maybe Director Comey would do what no one else has been able to accomplish in Hillary’s life; namely, STOP her harmful ways, and hold her squarely accountable for the myriad lives and resources she has brought to destruction. But something happened to Director Comey, and again Hillary slipped out of the grasp of being held firmly and solely responsible for her actions.

Director Comey, you said: “We did not find Clinton’s email domain was ever hacked by hostile actors successfully since she began using it in 2009. But given the nature of such activity, we doubt we would ever see such activity.”

FBI Director Comey said: “There is evidence that they (Clinton and her senior aides) were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive highly classified information.” Mr. Comey also alluded to the possibility that enemies of the United States had gained access to her server, and then added there was “evidence of potential violations of the statues regarding the handling of classified information.”

It Begins: Young Muslims ‘Invade’ Suburban Neighborhood, Terrorise Homeowners

I first read a story about this a couple of days ago and wondered if the scary incident involved Somalis, but the word ‘Somali’ was absent in the written account and it wasn’t until a reader, Dede, directed people to watch the video that we learned our first instincts were correct.

I’m telling you, the lengths to which the media goes to hide the truth when it involves refugees of a certain ‘religious’ persuasion is stunning.  Why on earth leave the key piece of information people need out of the written news report!

Here is the story (do you see the word “Somali” in the text?). Now watch the video (this is a screen shot in case they remove this from the video).

I guess we should be grateful that at least the broadcast version of the story used the ‘S’ word!

This should be on the national news!

Just envision this happening in your neighborhood!

How are Americans ever going to be prepared and proactive if we don’t even know what is happening in the next city, let alone the next state!  You know, I tell people in Maryland what is happening in Minnesota and they don’t believe me because they haven’t seen it on Fox News!  Ahhhhhh!

Somalis didn’t “make their way” to Minnesota, they were resettled there for two decades by the US State Department and three major contractors: Catholic Charities, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service and World Relief (additional contractors have moved in since).

The ‘youths’ harassing homeowners were born here or came as very small children!

Florida: Leading Congressional Candidate has Unsettling ties to Terrorist Groups

John Rutherford, the favored Candidate for Florida’s 4th Congressional District, has unsettling long term ties to groups which have officially been designated as Islamic Terrorist Groups.

The Cabinet and President Tayyp Erdogan of Turkey, a NATO Ally, officially designated the religious movement of U.S.-based Islamic cleric Fethullah Gulen a terrorist group as recently as May, 2016.  The United Arab Emirates (UAE) designated the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), a Terrorist Organization in November, 2014.

CAIR has been labeled by the US Government during the U.S. vs HLF Trial of 2008, as a Muslim Brotherhood Entity and the Palestine Committee.  These Committees were set up by HAMAS worldwide to further their causes.  Saudi Arabia and the UAE have also designated the parent of CAIR, the Muslim Brotherhood a Terrorist Organization.

The founder of the Islamic Gulen Movement, Fethullah Gulen, came to the United States under asylum during the Clinton Presidency after a failed coup to overthrow “Westernized” Turkey and restore it to an Islamic State ruled by Sharia (Islamic law).

Fethullah Gulen, has applied for asylum in several other countries as a result of Turkeys designation and increased pressure for his extradition.  Since the Obama administration cannot utter the words “Radical Islam” and embraced the Muslim Brotherhood, the administration’s failure to acknowledge Turkey’s terror classification of the Gulen Movement or extradite Fethullah Gulen should come as no surprise.

While Sheriff Rutherford has maintained an otherwise celebrated career in Law Enforcement, he also appears to be incapable of identifying pro-Sharia Islamists with whom he has embraced.  These organizations include Gulenist organizations such as the Atlantic Institute and Amity Turkish Cultural Center (ATCC), which recently changed its name to the Istanbul Center.  These groups work side by side with former CAIR/HAMAS National Chairman Dr. Parvez Ahmed and other pro-Sharia Islamists.

Sheriff Rutherford’s inability to distinguish between ‘Friend vs Foe’ leaves him vulnerable to further influence operations which could impact the passage of legislation which could weaken our defenses, leave our borders open, and challenge the supremacy of the US Constitution.

atlantic institute of jacksonville rutherfordInfluence operations targeting Sheriff Rutherford via “Interfaith Outreach” and “Bridge Building” efforts by pro-Sharia Islamist Groups have been successful and therefore render John Rutherford unfit to serve in the US Congress.  Success of these operations will be demonstrated in subsequent articles are evidenced by the following:

  • Penetration of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) by Muslim Brotherhood operatives as it relates to officer training programs.
  • Blatant disregard and willful blindness to credible information exposing the subversive nature of organizations and individuals currently embraced by former Sheriff Rutherford dating back to at least 2009.
  • Shortly after returning from the ATCC guided trip to Turkey, Sheriff Rutherford, in an official capacity, sent correspondence commending Gulenist Operatives Akif Aydin (Dir. ATCC &  River City Science Academy –  a Gulen Charter School) and Alex Silva for being “Great Ambassador’s of the Turkish people who helped us [Mr. & Mrs. Rutherford] Grow in Knowledge and Appreciation for Islam”.
  • Sheriff Rutherford disregarded credible information in regard to the subversive nature of the ATCC and a few months after returning from Turkey, extended the credibility of the Sheriff’s office by becoming a member of the Board of Advisors. He remained on this Board for approximately (4) years.
  • Despite being informed as early as 2009 and again in 2011, by ACT! for America’s Jacksonville Chapter of ongoing FBI investigations into the Gulen Charter School Network [for H1B Visa and other violations of law], Sheriff Rutherford chose to remain a member of the ATCC Advisory Board, which has subsequently been designated a terrorist organization by our NATO Ally, Turkey.
  • According to sources inside and outside JSO, the department allegedly adopted an unofficial policy of hostility at the direction of Sheriff Rutherford, towards the Jacksonville chapter of ACT! for America, the leading watchdog group working to expose pro-Sharia entities.
  • Sheriff Rutherford also received endorsements during his re-election bid from known Muslim Brother members and CAIR/HAMAS spin-off organizations. One such groups website states only candidates who have “built a significant relationship with our [Muslim] Community” are endorsed.
  • As recently as February 2016, former Sheriff Rutherford was personally thanked by the Atlantic Institute for his work to facilitate “outreach” targeted at his Protégé Sheriff Mike Williams. The Atlantic Institute is another pro-Sharia, pro-Jihadist Gulen entity which shares office space with the Istanbul Center, formerly the ATCC.

rutherford on advisory boardThe United States has been conducting a “War on Terror” (WOT) for over (15) years, yet every time a Jihadist yells Allahu Akbar, and attacks, we hear the same tired responses and disconnect between the attacks and Islam.  The reaction by our media and leadership in both law enforcement and the community is to seek out Islamic authorities, which almost without exception are members of the Muslim Brotherhood.  How is that possible?

After the Orlando terror attack, the largest attack on US soil since 9/11, Law Enforcement Officials trotted out Imam Musri, of the Islamic Society of Central Florida (ISCF) to be their Islamic spokesperson, despite the fact the Mosque he heads is an affiliate of the Islamic Society of North American (ISNA) and owned by the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), which are both Co-Conspirators in the largest terrorism finance trial in U.S. history.

Additionaly, the ISCF Mosque was caught raising over $55,000 for HAMAS, after investigative teams from the Jacksonville and Orlando Chapters of ACT! for America infiltrated and obtained video produced by the United West, which captured these fundraising activities.  This resulted in the U.S. Government banning former British MP George Galloway from entry to the United States.

Senate and other Hearings have already established training by DHS and the FBI has been compromised by the Muslim Brotherhood, language identifying the enemy and factual threat doctrine training has been purged.  Phil Haney of the DHS National Targeting Center, became a federal whistleblower, detailing the surrender of our National Security apparatus in his tell all book “See Something…Say Nothing; A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Governments Submission to Jihad”.

Sheriff Rutherford, is a prime example of Law Enforcement Leadership failures in the WOT.

During a Q & A session, in early 2010, at the South Side Republican Club, Sheriff Rutherford was commended on his job as it related to criminal activity.  However, it was his response to the follow-up question regarding national security and the growing Jihadist threat which captured the concern of this writer and the audience that day.

Sheriff Rutherford was asked about (5) basic documents; strategic Muslim Brotherhood documents which laid out plans to subvert and destroy America from within.  After stating he had not heard of these documents, Sheriff Rutherford was informed about the subversive nature of the Amity Turkish Cultural Center. (ATCC) and its founder Fetullah Gulen, who were providing trips to Turkey for key members of the community.

Rutherford, interrupted and stated he had attended one such a trip.  It was made clear to him, these trips were in reality influence operations, the effect of which remained to be seen.  Unfortunately, a few months later Sheriff John Rutherford became a member of the ATCC Advisory Board.  This will be discussed in greater detail in a subsequent article.

In January 2015, Sheriff Candidate Mike Williams was the guest speaker at a video recorded event for Grassroots 4 Victory.  During Q & A, Mr. Williams was briefly informed by Randy McDaniels, founder of ACT! for America’s Jacksonville Chapter, about the 2010 exchange with Sheriff John Rutherford and shared some of the same concerns voiced then.

Sheriff’s Candidate Mike Williams, only took moments to come to a sound conclusion, stating that if he was elected, he would not lend the credibility of the Sheriff’s Office to that [ATCC/Istanbul Center] Organization.  Williams went on to say that he had been the Division Chief for DHS on Counter Terrorism for over (6) years and I’ve  never heard of any of the names or documents you mentioned and it’s obvious you know what you’re talking about.

Based on his response, Candidate Williams was asked if he would be open to National security experts recommended by the questioner [Randy McDaniels] to train his JSO officers, to which he responded in the affirmative.

All Sheriff candidates we spoke to during the election cycle stated Counter Terrorism training was typically the responsibility of DHS and the FBI.  None of the candidates we spoke with said they had heard of these basic enemy documents, with the exception of Ken Jefferson, who is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Atlantic Institute.  As a panelist for both the Democrat and Republican during ongoing Sheriff debates in Putnam County, we experience the same results, fortunately there is unanimous consensus from these candidates for these experts to provide training for their officers upon their election.  State and Local Law Enforcement, Must take the lead in the fight against Jihad.

Rutherford formerly endorses Amity Turkish Cultural CenterThese experts, mentors, and friends such as John Guandolo, Clare Lopez, Maj. Stephen Coughlin, and DHS Whistle Blower Phil Haney, as well as others will provide JSO what has thus far has been missing, a factual understanding of the enemy threat doctrine.  This will ensure the brave men and women under Sheriff Williams leadership will have the training necessary to more effectively counter the threat and fulfill their oaths to protect and serve, without unwittingly serving the goals of the enemy.  A special thanks to Sheriff’s Candidate Jimmy Holderfield, for being so receptive and open in voicing his support for this training for JSO.

Shortly after the election, Sheriff Williams took the initial step in honoring his commitment by taking a meeting with former Sheriff Rutherford and John Guandolo.  This meeting was facilitated by Billie Tucker of Grassroots 4 Victory.  Unfortunately, it has been almost a year with no follow-up or training for our officers.

Currently, ACT! for America’s Jacksonville Chapter and the Center for Security Policy will arrange for a limited amount of training from these experts at no cost to the Sheriff’s Department.

I would encourage the following:

  1. Vote for a Congressional candidate who has the ability to discern between ‘Friend vs Foe’  and the courage to act in the best interest of Florida.
  2. Contact Sheriff Mike Williams at terrie.monroe@jaxsheriff.org and Gary Dickenson, Community Affairs Division at gary.dickinson@jaxsheriff.org  to respectfully request Sheriff Williams continue to honor his commitment to protect the citizens of Jacksonville by ensuring his officers expeditiously receive the best training possible on the enemy threat doctrine.

John Guandolo is a former graduate of the US Naval Academy, USMC Combat Platoon Commander during Desert Storm, and as a member of the FBI, wrote the first training manual for the FBI on the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamic Movement in America, receiving the “Defender of the Homeland” award from Senators Kyle and Lieberman.  His also the author of “Raising a Jihadi Generation”

Maj. Stephen Coughlin esq is probably the most brilliant intelligence analyst in the nation, predicted the “Arab Spring”; more aptly the consolidation of Muslim Brotherhood power in the M.E.  He was called back to active duty to serve in the Pentagons “J2” after 9/11 and wrote the thesis “To Our Great Detriment; Ignoring what Extremist say about Jihad”; a crystal ball writing on the failures we would face due to the incoherence in the WOT.  His latest book “Catastrophic Failure; blindfolding America in the face of Jihad” details how our Government has outsourced our war fighting strategy to one which is actually hostile to the WOT.  Both are must reads for Military, LEO’s, and Elected officials.   A short PDF “Burning Down the House” is a great primer for those pressed for time.

Clare Lopez is Vice President for Research and Analysis at the Center for Security Policy, a member of Sen. Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign national security advisory team. a member of the Citizens Commission on Benghazi. Fmr Vice President of the Intelligence Summit, a career operations officer with the CIA, a professor at the Centre for Counterintelligence and Security Studies, Executive Director of the Iran Policy Committee from 2005-2006, and a consultant, intelligence analyst, and researcher for a variety of defense firms.

Philip Haney is a founding member of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and a member of the National Targeting Center, DHS Whistleblower and author of the book “See Something, Say Nothing; A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Governments Submission to Jihad”.
