U.S. Military Equipment From Afghanistan for Sale on eBay

Our national security is in the best of hands. Not Biden. Maybe whoever in Afghanistan has an eBay account.

German researchers who purchased biometric capture devices on eBay found sensitive US military data stored on their memory cards, The New York Times has reported. That included fingerprints, iris scans, photographs, names and descriptions of the individuals, mostly from Iraq and Afghanistan. Many worked with the US army and could be targeted if the devices fell into the wrong hands, according to the report.

They cost under $200.

Where did it come from before eBay? That’s a good question. And officially there’s no answer. But one seems to have come most recently from Afghanistan.

Metadata on the device, called a Secure Electronic Enrollment Kit, or SEEK II, revealed that it had last been used in the summer of 2012 near Kandahar, Afghanistan.

Where was it sitting all this time?

Exactly how the device ended up going from the battlefields in Asia to an online auction site is unclear. But the data, which offers detailed descriptions of individuals in addition to their photograph and biometric data, could be enough to target people who were previously unknown to have worked with U.S. military forces should the information fall into the wrong hands.

The how likely involves our “allies” or the Jihadis who overran the place after Biden’s humiliating retreat. Sure it could be a decommissioned military device, but those are supposed to be destroyed.

How eBay sellers obtained these devices is unclear. The device with the 2,632 profiles was sold by Rhino Trade, a surplus equipment company in Texas. The company’s treasurer, David Mendez, said it had bought the SEEK II at an auction of government equipment and did not realize a decommissioned military device would have sensitive data on it.

“I hope we didn’t do anything wrong,” he said.

The SEEK II with the American troops’ information came from Tech-Mart, an eBay seller in Ohio. Tech-Mart’s owner, Ayman Arafa, declined to say how he had acquired it, or two other devices he sold to the researchers.

Arafa is a common Moroccan last name.

The media’s focus is on the fact that there was unencrypted data on the SEEK devices. But a bigger story is how those devices ended up for sale. Period.

Biden Flees Winter Storm, Stays at Island Home of Wealthy Donors

President Joe Biden escaped winter’s chill with a trip to St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where he and First Lady Jill are staying at the home of wealthy donors, according to the Daily Wire.

The Bidens will celebrate New Year’s Eve in the tropics as much of the country digs itself out of a massive Arctic blast and flight cancellations leave thousands of travelers stranded.

“As they have done previously, the President and the First Lady are staying at the home of their friends Bill and Connie Neville,” the White House told reporters. Bill Neville is a tech executive and his wife Connie is a self-employed designer.

The Bidens are not paying to stay at the villa, which has an in-ground pool and direct beach access, and their vacation comes a few weeks after the Nevilles’ names appeared on the celebrity-packed guest list for the president’s first state dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron on December 1.

Federal Election Commission records show more than $10,000 in contributions in 2020 by “William” Neville and Connie Neville from the Virgin Islands to Biden for President, the Biden Victory Fund.

“Hunter’s laptop and other evidence show Biden’s record of converting his public office into private gain,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, according to the New York Post. “So it is no surprise Biden is getting a free luxury vacation from a wealthy donor who ‘coincidentally’ received primo White House state dinner tickets.”

‘What Is A Woman?’: A Provocative Look at the Transgender Debate

These days, dead white males do not count for much. But we still have the legacy of an exceptional man who went around Athens asking people to provide basic definitions. In so doing, he proved to many that they were not as knowledgeable as they thought themselves to be. This man’s questions annoyed many, and for that, he was called “the gadfly”. Ultimately, some Athenians could not handle his intellectual curiosity, and sentenced him to death.

American conservative commentator Matt Walsh has often been labelled a “troll”. What is the difference between a troll and a gadfly? It is hard to tell. Very much as Socrates, Walsh simply asks questions. Admittedly, Walsh may be more exasperating than the father of Western philosophy in this endeavour, but he gets the job done. And that job is getting closer to truth.

What is a Woman?, Walsh’s latest documentary has been produced by the Daily Wire, a bumptious but highly professional conservative media company. It is structured as a series of Socratic dialogues about the transgender debate. He interviews many gender studies “experts” who spout the usual ideological points regarding gender dysphoria (sex is a social construction, children should not be refused hormone replacement therapy, etc.), and asks them “What is a woman?” Predictably, none of them provide a clear answer.

The most challenging interlocutors for Socrates were the Sophists — teachers who taught how to persuade people with rhetoric but did not care about the truth. How can you establish a meaningful dialogue with someone who does not even accept that there is a difference between truth and falsehood? American academia is awash with transgender Sophists, as Walsh discovers. One stands out for his absurdity. Professor Patrick Grzanka says: “I am uncomfortable with that language ‘getting to the truth’… It sounds deeply transphobic to me… You keep invoking the word ‘truth’, which is condescending and rude.”

This is not the only outrageous thing coming from the mouth of a college-educated person in the film. Paediatrician Michelle Forcier tells Walsh that puberty blockers are “completely reversible and don’t have permanent effects, and are wonderful, because we put that pause on puberty.” Many paediatricians have pushed back against this claim. For example, the American College of Pediatricians states that “puberty blockers may cause permanent physical harm.” Bioethicists frequently invoke the “precautionary principle”, yet strangely, puberty blockers get a free pass. Even medical ethics is falling under the influence of woke ideology.

Critics are ignoring this uncomfortable documentary

Not all moments in the film are as sad. Walsh travels to Kenya to meet members of the Masai tribe and asks some men: “What if someone is non-binary?” The Masai interlocutor’s confused and perplexed reaction is hilarious. Now, some social justice warrior might denounce this as an evil racist film that makes fun of African people. But that would be missing the point. The ones being mocked are the (mostly white) North American liberals who project onto the rest of the world their social constructionist ideas.

Walsh lays the blame for the transgender craze at the feet of Dr Alfred Kinsey, who allegedly had a mission to erode Judeo-Christian values. I do not see the need for Walsh to go down this path. Kinsey may have claimed many questionable things, but I do give him credit for having lifted the veil on many sexual practices whose existence the 1950s establishment refused to acknowledge. And I see no need to bring a religious angle to this topic. Saying that women have vaginas and men have penises is not about Judaism or Christianity. It is about common sense, regardless of whether you are a Jew, Christian, Buddhist, or atheist.

He also goes overboard exhibiting people who self-identify as animals, presumably to mock the extent to which self-identification can be taken. In the film, one Naia Okami identifies as a transgender woman and “wolforian”, walks on all four, and howls. Of course, psychiatry has always documented cases of lycanthropy. But to bring such exceptional cases to the transgender debate is more akin to P.T. Barnum’s 19th century so-called “freak shows” than serious engagement with issues of identity.

Nevertheless, Carl Trueman, a scholar interviewed by Walsh, does have a point in arguing that at the root of the transgender craze is a desperate need to belong. Adolescents are searching for an identity, and in our fragmented communities, it is hard to find one. Describing yourself as a “man trapped inside a woman’s body” may do the part, and with peer pressure, others follow suit. Hollywood takes note and being transgender becomes the new cool.

This “social contagion” theory is anathema to woke activists. But it should be noted that not long ago, leftists embraced the concept. When in the 1980s some religious conservatives talked about Satanic ritual abuse in books and TV shows, suddenly multiple personality disorder rates exploded. Why do they refuse to even consider that some similar process may now be at play with gender dysphoria?

But of course, social contagion cannot be the sole factor in gender dysphoria. Yes, many kids may become transgender due to media influence, but surely there must be some cases in which social factors do not play a role. The scientific data does suggest a degree of biological origin in some cases. Walsh does not address this.

Walsh’s film is at times excessively one-sided. There is no interviewee genuinely expressing the frustrations of feeling trapped in the wrong body. Likewise, there are no testimonies of adolescents transitioning and doing just fine. Surely there are many such cases, and even though Walsh is entitled to make his point, he could at least give the devil his due.

Be that as it may, Walsh speaks for many people who are simply too afraid to let their views be known. Walsh deserves praise for that courage. And he is very effective in the bottom line of any film: entertaining the audience. Like Socrates, he is forcing us to challenge many of the assumptions of woke culture by asking “dumb questions”.

The Son of a Holocaust Survivor Weaponizes Books to Stop Another Shoah

T. Belman. I first connected with Howard when he started Mantua Books. Since then I have promoted his books and he has generously donated money in support of Israpundit. I too was born in Canada but in my case to two immigrants from Poland who came to Canada in the twenties. You will recall that the US shut the door to Jewish Immigration in the early twenties, ergo Canada. My father’s family were attracted to Communism and my mother’s family were attracted to Zionism.

I am a Canadian author who has written often for Israel National News, New English Review and Frontpage Magazine, with some of my essays carried also in Israpundit.  I grew up in a small city about 15 miles from another small city where Ted Belman grew up.

I attained a degree in History from University of Toronto where I first became interested in cultural history and the history of ideologies and values.  I later graduated from that university in Law and practiced for 20 years, before founding a company providing affordable rental housing in converted heritage buildings such as old churches and warehouses.  I also founded Mantua Books, Canada’s sole pro-Israel and conservative and Torah values publishing house.

My writing is based on a traditional conservative or classically liberal understanding of ideologies and values and political culture.  I am particularly interested in Islamism and left wing ideologies.  The greatest influence on my writing is the Holocaust as my father was slave labor in Auschwitz and my father’s parents and then eight year old sister were murdered in the gas chambers.  My mother was born in Canada to parents who fled Uman near Kiev in the Ukraine, in 1910.   Since my mother grew up in peaceful Canada, I could distinguish a very different culture between my father’s family and my mother’s family.

I have written much criticism on Holocaust literature and commemorations.

My novel, The Second Catastrophe:, is very much in the genre of “Second Generation” literature as the protagonist is the son of a Holocaust survivor who is writing a book about Israel and becomes obsessed with what he sees as “Second Holocaust” this time directed at the Jews of Israel with explicit threats by the leadership of Iran that they will get nuclear weapons and use them against Israel.  There is a sad parallel between the world in general and Diaspora Jews in particular, concerning the lack of action to stop explicit threats to our people.

 Professor Norman Rosenfeld, my fictional cultural historian at a small Canadian university, has almost finished his new and controversial book about Israel and the Jewish people. He learns that his daughter, on a one-year study program at an Israeli university, has been injured in a terrorist attack. Rosenfeld, a widower, rushes to Israel, along with his father, an elderly Holocaust survivor, named “Lucky”. While in Israel visiting his injured daughter, at the height of the “Second Intifada”, Rosenfeld, an Orthodox Jew, meets and falls in love with a secular Israeli woman. This leads to discussion of the gulf between religions and secular Israelis. Chapters of the Professor’s book on Israel and the Jewish people are interspersed amongst the events of the novel. The dramatic events and difficulties of Rosenfeld’s life mirror catastrophic events in the life of the Jewish people. His journey to overcome these catastrophes is at the core of The Second Catastrophe.

By placing chapters of his book on Israel among the fictional events of his life, the reader can see how his life influences his writing and how his writing, (attacked by the usual anti-Israel crowd), then influences his life.  The book is set in Israel during the Second Intifada and nine-eleven, and was written in Jerusalem during the height of the suicide bombings.

In my first non-fiction book, Tolerism, I argue that we in the West have entered an ideology of “Tolerism” – an unhealthy degree of tolerance without limits, and an excessive leniency towards those who represent the most intolerant and illiberal societies.  Too many educated people think that tolerance is an important value when it is Justice that is stressed in the Torah, not tolerance.  I observe how cultural and moral relativism, moral equivalency, and political correctness have all contributed to a modern political culture whose elites and cultural symbols evidence, not only an undue tolerance of the illiberals, but a disturbing element of self-hatred, cultural masochism, and delusions about the difference between social tolerance and political tolerance – and an elevation of tolerance over the principle of Justice.

In the follow-up to Tolerism, which I titled The Ideological Path to Submission … and what we can do about it, I trace the ideological pathway resulting from tolerance and explore certain ideologies that have emanated from tolerism and pose a danger of possible submission to the anti-liberal values of the Islamists. I  look at such ideologies as Inclusive Diversity, Empathy, Denialism, Masochism, Islamophilia, Trumpophobia, Cultural Relativism, Postmodernism, Multiculturalism and the psychological factors that conduce to a flight from the anxieties of freedom to a submission to the enemy. I argue that Muslims who  wish to share Western freedoms, need to support reformers and participate in their essential duty to reject the Islamists who seek Sharia Law and a world-wide Caliphate in lands where they immigrate to. The sooner we understand the ideologies that lead us from tolerism to submission to the enemy, and that we can have a moral replacement to postmodernism, and the sooner we follow the Israeli example of resistance, patriotism and social cohesion as a way to build social resilience, the sooner we in the West can reverse our losses and start winning this war.

During the years subsequent to the publishing of these books (available through Amazon) the problems I deal with in my three books have only become more serious and more dangerous.  My prescience gives me no joy whatsoever;  instead it motivates me to do whatever I can.

“One thing that I learned was the need to publish other pro-Israel authors, and that I could do it.”  In talking to other authors and some professors, I realized as early as 2002 that mainstream publishing houses and media did not want anything to do with pro-Israel material.  Even some bookstores were becoming loath to carry these books.  I had taken early retirement from my law practice in order to concentrate on real estate development, but that new type of work did not occupy as much time as my law practice.   So, without any contacts and in the face of illiberal political correctness and cancel culture, I decided that somebody had to take on the project of publishing books that also constituted weapons in our war to stop radical Islamism and its Western enablers.

I knew that there was no money in it – the refusal of media to carry book reviews meant that we had somehow to get publicity for our books from social media, which at the time was not as developed as it is now.  I also realized that left wing university students and Islamists might well attack any authors for which we secured lectures or book signings.   And I became the first victim of Islamist threats at a book lecture for my novel.   See:  http://scragged.com/articles/how-i-became-a-banned-author-in-canada

The irony was that my novel was about, in part, a pro-Israel university professor who gets in trouble at a lecture.

We also learned that organizations that were founded to speak out for authors and their freedom of expression, such as PenCanada and the Writers’ Union and the Canadian Civil Liberties Association refused to speak out in favour of Zionist Jews, our authors and books.

Since my real estate work was remunerative yet did not take up all of my time, I was able to do all the work needed for Mantua Books with one part-time secretary.  I have had some health problems recently, so have had to pause some new releases.

The Internet: A Pandora’s Box of Threats to Our Children

The Internet has opened up a Pandora’s Box of threats to our children. These threats include grooming by online predators for sexual abuse or to be sex trafficked; having sexually explicit images and videos shared online that will haunt our children for the rest of their lives; exposure to pornography; messages encouraging harmful sexual behavior like sexting, hookup sex, and more; and the mental health impacts of seeing countless objectifying messages.

We believe a critical aspect of child online safety is the availability of caregiver controls on any device or platform where children are likely to be found. We are taking steps to ensure technology companies prioritize child safety and give parents more power.  

According to a Bark’s 2021 Annual Report that analyzed over 3.4 billion messages across platforms:

  • 68.97% of Tweets and 90.73% of teens encountered nudity or other sexual content.
  • 9.95% of tweens and 20.54% of teens of teens encountered predatory behaviors.

Thanks to your partnership, we are making significant progress in transforming the Internet into a safer place for children. Here are just a few highlights from the past year:

  • Our lawsuit against Twitter for facilitating and profiting from sexual abuse images of two young boys continues to move forward in the federal courts. It is presently pending before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
  • In August, Snap Inc. released its first set of parental controls, named “Family Center”, providing parents with the ability to view their children’s friends and report suspicious accounts. NCOSE participated in discussions and official expert consultations around the Family Center development.
  • After a half-dozen consultations with NCOSE, Apple announced multiple improvements to their parental controls, named “Screen Time”. These improvements included defaulting content restrictions based on a user’s age, and providing a “checklist” of safety features to ensure parents know what is available for them to protect their children.
  • Meta implemented numerous changes which NCOSE and our allies have been advocating for them to make for several years. In mid-November, Meta announced they would be defaulting settings to higher safety levels for 13-15-year-old users on Facebook and Instagram. These defaulted settings make it much harder for teens and “suspicious accounts” to interact with each other, and increase messages and educational tools meant to prevent sextortion and self-generated sexually explicit images. Earlier in the year, Instagram also restricted content for teens under 16 to the highest safety setting (though teens are able to change this and other settings – something we hope will be changed through more parental oversight tools).
  • This year Congress introduced SIX bills on online child safety, five with bipartisan support! Congress hasn’t addressed these issues in a serious way since the early 2000s!

Florida Officials Open Investigation Into ‘All Ages’ Explicit Drag Queen Show [VIDEOS]

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – According to reports, the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation is opening an investigation into an allegedly explicit drag queen performance held in Ft. Lauderdale earlier in December that apparently admitted all ages to the event so long as minors were accompanied by a parent. The group responsible for the drag event allegedly has a history of putting on sexually graphic drag queen shows were “simulated sex acts,” and overt nudity is commonplace.

The event production team known as Murray & Peter Present, which appears to be an event production team maintained by or affiliated with Canadian pro-LGBT activist Murray Corren, launched the national tour this past November of “A Drag Queen Christmas,” which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like – drag queens doing some bastardized iteration of a Christmas event/show.

Come December 26th, this show made its way into Florida, with one show taking place at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Ft. Lauderdale and three subsequent shows in being held in Miami, Orlando, and Clearwater the following days.

According to the event details listed on a still-live event information page for the Ft. Lauderdale show, the drag queen show bore an advisory that it contained “adult themes and content” and was only intended for audiences aged 18 years or older – but with one glaring caveat: children under the age of 18 were able to be admitted if accompanied by an adult.

“For the 8th consecutive year, Murray & Peter present, ‘A Drag Queen Christmas.’ Get ready for your favorite queens performing live on stage. We’ve got Winners, Fan Favorites and Miss Congeniality…This performance has adult themes and content. Admission is limited to patrons 18 years of age or over, unless accompanied by a parent.”

Whatever the proclaimed “adult themes and content” consisted of wasn’t exactly clear to prospective attendees, as the advertisements for the performance didn’t go into specifics on what attendees would be exposed to. However, based upon footage obtained by Libs of TikTok earlier in December from the show’s Austin, Texas, performance, this drag queen show was hardly anything appropriate for children under the age of 18.

Drag Queen Performer: Time to “Kick Down Traditional Family Values,” “F**k Family”

The radical left long ago declared war on Christmas, traditional values, and Christianity in general.  Now an infamous contestant from RuPaul’s Drag Race is doubling down on the war while shoving a disgusting, anti-Christmas play down America’s throat.

Miz Cracker, a biological male whose real name is Maxwell Eiias Heller, is staging a one- “woman” show called Who’s Holiday!. The play mocks a prominent character from the classic Christmas tale The Grinch and the story’s moral lesson.

Cracker plays The Grinch’s Cindy Lou and reimagines her as a “hard-drinking, pill-popping, experienced woman.”  He explained to far-left gay website PinkNews Saturday why his “ungodly” show rejects family values and Jesus Christ:

“To say that Christmas is about traditional values or values of any kind anymore is pretty ridiculous.  Christ is nowhere featured in this.”

“In America, if you look at the way people knock down the doors of shopping centers, I think you can tell that we have separated Christmas from Christ.”

Cracker surprisingly makes a good point regarding the commercialization of Christmas. The combination of Corporate America’s unyielding desire for maximum profits and the decline of Christianity in America has led to people forgetting the true meaning of the holiday.

Lest one think Cracker actually wants traditional Christmas values to make a comeback, however, he says he desires the opposite:

“I think any opportunity that we have to kick down traditional family values is welcomed.”

Elon Musk has not only “dealt a body blow to the Left’s authoritarian agenda by buying one of the world’s most popular social media platforms,” Twitter, but he’s also helping to enable some ability for Iranian dissidents to communicate with the world. Musk’s Starlink, a “satellite-based broadband service could help Iranians circumvent the government’s restrictions on accessing the internet and certain social-media platforms amid protests around the country.” Thus it allows the truth about Iran to be revealed to everyone.

Musk’s Starlink is revolutionizing Internet technology globally. Last month, the UK began trials using Starlink “to beam high-speed broadband to remote areas of UK.” In 2020, Starlink was already being reported to be a possible “uncensored internet solution” for North Korea, that “could prove a game-changer.”

SpaceX Chief Executive Elon Musk said on Monday that the company is now close to having 100 active Starlinks, the firm’s satellite internet service, in Iran, three months after he tweeted he would activate the service there amid protests around the Islamic country.

Musk said, “approaching 100 starlinks active in Iran”, in a tweet on Monday.

The billionaire had said in September that he would activate Starlink in Iran as part of a U.S.-backed effort “to advance internet freedom and the free flow of information” to Iranians.

The satellite-based broadband service could help Iranians circumvent the government’s restrictions on accessing the internet and certain social media platforms amid protests around the country……

The 2020 Election Fraud and National Security Breach Case No. 22-380 reads in part:

Mr. [Raland] Brunson filed a pro se civil action in Utah state court against hundreds of members of Congress, President Joseph Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and former Vice President Michael Pence. He alleged that before accepting the electoral votes on January 6, 2021, defendants intentionally refused to investigate evidence that the November 2020 presidential election was fraudulent.

Citizens have sent more than 50,000 letters which have been already received by the justices asking that they hear the case.

QUESTIONS PRESENTED

A serious conflict exists between decisions rendered from this Court and lower appeal courts, along with constitutional provisions and statutes, in deciding whether or not the trial court has jurisdiction to try the merits of this case.

This case uncovers a serious national security breach that is unique and is of first impression, and due to the serious nature of this case it involves the possible removal of a sitting President and Vice President of the United States along with members of the United States Congress, while deeming them unfit from ever holding office under Federal, State, County or local Governments found within the United States of America, and at the same time the trial court also has the authority, to be validated by this Court, to authorize the swearing in of the legal and rightful heirs for President and Vice President of the United States. In addition there are two doctrines that conflict with each other found in this case affecting every court in this country. These doctrines are known as the doctrine of equitable maxim and the doctrine of the object principle of justice. Equitable maxim created by this court, which the lower court used to dismiss this case, sets in direct violation of the object principle of justice also partially created by this Court and supported by other appeal courts and constitutional provisions.

These conflicts call for the supervisory power of this Court to resolve these conflicts, which has not, but should be, settled by this Court without delay.

HHS Records Reveal Biden Admin Flights Stopping in Multiple Cities to Drop Unaccompanied Alien Children–Plane Originating in San Diego Stopped in Three Cities

Washington, D.C. – Judicial Watch announced today that it received 16 pages of records from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) detailing the nighttime transportation of unaccompanied alien children (UAC) by air from Texas to Tennessee, as well as two other flights making multiple stops across the country. 

The Administration for Children and Families, a division of HHS, produced the records in response to an October 2022 lawsuit filed after HHS failed to respond to a May 20, 2021, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (No. 1:22-cv-03044)), asking for:

· All documents related to the preparation and logistics involved in the transportation of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) to and from Chattanooga’s Wilson Air Center on May 14, 2021.

· All ACF officials’ internal email communications related to the transportation of UACs to and from Chattanooga’s Wilson Air Center on May 14, 2021.

The records include a May 15 email from a person whose name is redacted to an unnamed person at MVM Inc’s Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) Transport DFW (Dallas Fort Worth) Command Center detailing charter flights.

One flight travelling from SAN-OKC-CHA-EWR [San Diego, Oklahoma City, Chattanooga, Newark airports] via “Swift Air,” which was operating a Boeing 737 with “148 seats” [likely the number of passengers]. It indicates that there would be two buses at the San Diego Convention Center, two buses in Oklahoma City, two buses in Chattanooga, and two buses at Newark.

A second flight, from MFE-ELP-EWR [McAllen, El Paso, Newark] also via “Swift Air,” and a 737, with 150 seats, notes: “Pecos [TX] will be bused to ELP [El Paso] to catch charter flight. 1 bus will report 0800. 2 buses to report at 0800 at Delphi EIS [Delphi Emergency Intake Site]

The records also include a May 13, 2021, email thread from a redacted person at MVM Inc. to RF1Badging@rf1.us [likely Response Force 1] and others regarding an Administration for Children and Families’ (ACF) Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) transport of minors from Kay Baily Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas on Friday, May 14, 2021, before dawn, at 3 a.m.

RF1 Badging then replies, “Please be advised that the following UCs [Unaccompanied Children] … does not match in our system.” He then proceeds to list the details of nine children. 

Also in this thread is an email from an individual at Culmen International stating that one of the minors is “not cleared to travel.” 

The records include a list for a charter of 36 children from Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico and El Salvador. A handwritten note on the spreadsheet says: “Dallas to Tennessee Air Charter Flight 5/14/2021.” The record notes that the children are to be transported to these shelters: La Casa de Sidney, Lincoln Hall Boys’ Haven, Children’s Home of Kingston, Children’s Village Shelter, and Cayuga Center TFC. It indicates three of the minors are “reunifications.”

(Chattanooga’s unaccompanied migrant minor housing facility, La Casa de Sydney, was closed in 2021 after reports of runaways and sexual battery.)

An undated “Transfer of Custody” form indicates the transfer of six Guatemalan and Honduran children from “KBH” [likely Kay Baily Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas] to La Casa de Sidney. 

“These shocking documents forced out by a Judicial Watch lawsuit show the Biden administration effectively trafficking unaccompanied alien children, dropping them off in city after city like items for delivery,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The Biden open borders crisis is resulting in the most massive child and human trafficking operation ever.”

In a May 26, 2021, letter to HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Tennessee Senators Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty, along with Tennessee Congressman Chuck Fleischmann, detailed their concerns regarding unaccompanied minors:

We write to seek information on the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) management of unaccompanied alien children (UAC) in federal custody and the facilities used to house them. We are particularly concerned about recent reports regarding the use of Chattanooga, Tennessee, as a central location for resettling UACs in the United States.

There are media reports that, within the last week, at least four planes carrying UACs landed at Wilson Air Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, before swiftly boarding the children onto buses and transporting them to multiple cities across the southeastern United States for apparent resettlement, with zero transparency regarding what was happening. For months, reports have detailed how thousands of children are being housed in neglectful conditions at mass shelters operated by HHS under a veil of secrecy. We are deeply troubled by the lack of transparency and accountability regarding the conditions that HHS is subjecting these children to.

In September 2021, Judicial Watch revealed HHS documents that list 33 separate incidents of alleged sexual abuse in a one-month time period tied to unaccompanied alien children shelters.

A Resolution to Be More Grateful in 2023

Well, it’s that time of year again, when many of us consider turning over a new leaf. Losing that extra weight, reading the Bible more, being kinder and gentler.

Here’s a worthwhile New Year’s Resolution. In 2023, I resolve to be….more grateful. I resolve to make thanksgiving a year-round proposition.

Ingratitude is deep in our nature. God said of His people in Hosea 13:6, “When I fed them, they were satisfied: when they were satisfied, they became proud: then they forgot me.”

That is a common pattern—that we forget God because we don’t think we need Him. But every beat of the human heart is courtesy of Jesus Christ. We do indeed need Him. And a key way to acknowledge that is to give Him thanks.

I read an interesting book recently. It’s called A Simple Act of Gratitude: How Learning to Say Thank You Changed My Life. Written by author John Kralik, it was a bestseller in 2010, but I had never heard of it until recently.

He tells how he was very depressed about his life until he learned to be more grateful. His career as a lawyer was in a nose dive. He was going through his second divorce, and he was living in shabby little apartment, with his mattress on the floor under a noisy air conditioner.

But what turned Kralik’s life around was the unshakeable conviction to become more thankful. Someone told him, “Until you learn to be grateful for the things you have, you will not receive the things you want.”

Soon thereafter, he embarked on a mission to regularly write sincere thank you notes to people who had done something kind to him. He ended up writing more than 700 of these notes, and it changed his life.

He concludes: “At the risk of making an unscientific and directly moral statement, I will say that writing thank-you notes is a good thing to do and makes the world a better place. It also made me a better man. More than success or material achievement, this is what I sought.”

Grateful people, which I’m evermore striving to be, focus more on what they have, not what they lack. And they express that gratitude to God and others.

I recently saw an editorial posted in an online health publication, called “Neuroscience Reveals: Gratitude Literally Rewires Your Brain to be Happier.”

The authors cite a 2015 scientific study, and ask, “When you say, ‘thank you,’ do you really mean it or is it just politeness to which you give little attention? Neuroscientists have found that if you really feel it when you say it, you’ll be happier and healthier. The regular practice of expressing gratitude is not a New Age fad; it’s a facet of the human condition that reaps true benefits to those who mean it.”

The 2015 researchers found that a group that actively practiced gratitude experienced happier results. The researchers even found that gratitude positively impacts our brains, physiologically.

Here is 21st century technology telling us: Giving thanks is good for you. Wait a minute, the Bible beat these researchers by 2000 years. Paul said to give thanks in all circumstances.

So how do we become more grateful? Well, someone noted that to thank, you need to think. We need to think about what God has done for us and to thank Him for it.

It’s great to keep a daily journal of things you are grateful for. Every day, especially during morning exercise, I try to come up with a list of a hundred things that I thank God for. It really rejuvenates my spirit.

One man who represents gratitude as a way of life is George Washington, “the indispensable man” who helped us become a free nation. There were many challenges that the “father of our country” experienced in the difficulties of leading a ragtag army of farmers and merchants against the strongest fighting force in the world at that time.

On repeated occasions, Washington saw God’s hand at work. He said no one should be more grateful than the citizens of this country for the freedom God has bestowed upon us. On one occasion he said an American is “worse than an infidel” if they refuse to acknowledge what God has done for us.

In our nation’s first Thanksgiving proclamation under his administration, Washington declared, “[I]t is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits.”

I think making gratitude a way of life (in 2023 and beyond) is a worthy goal to strive for. Says an old prayer: “Oh, God, You’ve given me so many things. Please give me one more thing: a grateful heart.”

More Parents Opt for Public School Alternatives in Post-Covid World

I have often said, the law of unintended consequences are always on our side. And there are cracks where the light gets in. Weaponizing Covid into a Constitutional-crushing power grab by the Democrats is no exception. Shutting down schools for years didn’t just put parents in a vice and harm children, it exposed parents to the indoctrination and dangerous propaganda the schools were ‘teaching’ the children.

Parents left public school in droves. “Be the change….”

As we speak, major school districts nationwide are re-instituting the debilitating-to-children mask mandates.

According to a new report from the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, enrollment grew 7% at charters between 2019 and 2022, while falling 3.5%, or almost 1.5 million, at traditional public schools over the same period. Catholic schools likewise have seen a boost in attendance, with nationwide enrollment this year up 3.8%, the largest increase in more than two decades. In addition to fleeing traditional public schools for charter and parochial alternatives, thousands of families responded to the Covid crisis by creating “learning pods” or “microschools” for their children (Forsaken Children of a Forged Pandemic)

Nearly 6 in 10 parents preferred learning pods to remote learning and traditional public schools.

Parents took advantage of education options like never before during the pandemic, to the point where K-12 schooling in the years ahead could look a lot different than it did pre-Covid.

According to a new report from the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, enrollment grew 7% at charters between 2019 and 2022, while falling 3.5%, or almost 1.5 million, at traditional public schools over the same period. This involved bringing together small groups of students who were taught by hired instructors or parent volunteers. The Center on Reinventing Public Education, a research organization based at Arizona State University, has been studying the phenomenon, and its findings are revealing.

Christian Groups Banned by Amazon Smile Due to Targeting by The Southern Poverty Law Center

Contrary to its cheerful name, Amazon Smile promotes the hateful agenda of far-Left ideologues, including one of the worst: The Southern Poverty Law Center.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is actively engaged in the persecution of those who do not espouse its far Left agenda.

Many groups, along with Christian groups, which the SPLC has defamed are also on Amazon’s hit list, including Jihad Watch:

For years now, the notorious far-Left smear machine, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), has defamed opponents of jihad violence and Sharia oppression as “hate group leaders,” and Amazon has banned counter-jihad 501c3 charitable organizations from its Amazon Smile charity program on the basis of the SPLC’s “hate” listings.

Of course, the SPLC claims to look out for the oppressed, but does not care about the victims of the Sharia, such as infidel women and gays. There is also plenty of dirt on the organization. In 2019, employees at the Southern Poverty Law Center spoke out “against what they say is a culture of ‘racism and sexism.‘” Before that, even Politico posed the question of the SPLC: Has a Civil Rights Stalwart Lost Its Way? And in an article in USA Today, Jessica Prol Smith, senior newswriter and editor for Alliance Defending Freedom, wrote an article entitled: “The Southern Poverty Law Center is a hate-based scam that nearly caused me to be murdered.” Last year, the SPLC stopped monitoring black hate groups “because of ‘equity.’” In the SPLC’s view, only white groups are capable of hatred and incitement.

Despite the despicable record of the SPLC, Amazon Smile continues to trust in it and collaborate with it, in its ongoing efforts to “deny admission to Christian organizations that support traditional marriage and religious freedom.” Amazon has partnered with the SPLC to persecute Christians for their deeply held beliefs.

To believe in traditional marriage and support it is not the same as promoting hatred toward those who do not believe in it. You don’t see an organized Christian targeting of those who promote transgenderism and gay marriage. They may disagree, but they do not promote bullying, hatred and targeting, using the full power of activist media and willing businesses.

Christian Organizations Continue To Make Amazon Smile’s Naughty List

Amazon Smile continues to deny admission to Christian organizations that support traditional marriage and religious freedom, opting instead to place them on a proverbial naughty list by recommendation of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

Amazon Smile allows customers who sign up to have 0.5% of their purchases donated to their favorite charity. Organizations on SPLC’s “designated hate groups” list, however, are barred from registering, according to Amazon’s website.

The SPLC accuses ADF of supporting sterilization for transgender people, likening LGBTQ individuals to pedophiles and claims that the Christian organization seeks to criminalize LGBTQ sexual behavior. ADF resoundingly denies all of the accusations and has a part of its website dedicated to combating SPLC’s claims….

Marines May Ban Use of ‘Sir’ and ‘Ma’am’ to Avoid ‘Misgendering’ Superiors

If this policy is put into effect so goes good order and discipline which has already been diminished with the many Obama 1,2,3 social engineering policies impacting our military.

This woke recommendation was made in a new $2 million report commissioned by the Corps from the University of Pittsburgh.

So if the United States Marine Corps can afford $2 M to waste on such a report why should they receive any budget appropriations increases in the new $830 billion Department of Defense budget, an all time record high? Same goes for all the services—no telling what else completely unrelated to combat readiness and ability to fight and win against our enemies is in this new budget.

Marines told to stop using ‘sir,’ ‘ma’am’ to avoid ‘misgendering’ superiors

The US Marines may ban recruits from respectfully addressing senior members as “sir” or “ma’am” to avoid “misgendering” and offending them.

The woke recommendation was made in a new $2 million report commissioned by the Corps from the University of Pittsburgh.

The exhaustive, 738-page study that the Marines first commissioned in 2020 said traditional ways of addressing superiors were holding back gender integration.

“Employing gender-neutral identifiers eliminates the possibility of misgendering drill instructors, which can unintentionally offend or cause discord,” the study said.

“By teaching recruits to use gender-neutral identifiers for their drill instructors, Services underscore the importance of respecting authoritative figures regardless of gender.”

The two-year study by the University of Pittsburgh’s Warrior Human Performance Research Center also said that “the Army, Navy, and Coast Guard effectively de-emphasize gender in an integrated environment.”

“Instead of saying ‘ma’am’ or ‘sir,’ recruits in these Services refer to their drill instructors using their ranks or roles followed by their last names,” it said.

In a 5-4 decision, the high court forced the Biden administration to keep Title 42 amid record surges of illegal immigration at the southern border. Federal authorities encountered more than 2.3 million migrants in fiscal year 2022.

The Biden administration believed that ending the policy would bring roughly 14,000 illegal immigrants a day, according to Axios.

A federal judge previously ruled that the policy must end Dec. 21. Republican states asked the Supreme Court to intervene a day before the policy would expire, arguing that the recent decision would lead to a harmful surge in illegal immigration.

The Supreme Court justices will hear arguments in February to consider whether to fully scrap the policy beyond the pause. Until then, the Biden administration must continue to expel a number of illegal immigrants based on their country of origin.

Venezuelans coming to the U.S. illegally were the latest group of migrants to be expelled under the policy, which has resulted in the expulsion of over 2 million illegal immigrants, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
