America’s Work Crisis

With another Labor Day come and gone, it’s fascinating to note that America’s work ethic is in trouble today. And the coronavirus has made it worse.

We now have a labor shortage crisis. Columnist Victor Davis Hanson (8/11/21) describes some of the symptoms of our current labor shortages: “Airliners cannot take off due to fuel shortages. Automobiles, houses, gas and lumber are in short supply. Consumers can’t get their roofs fixed, their houses painted or their trees trimmed, as employers plead with their idle, government-subsidized employees to come back to work.”

And he adds: “In a rebounding economy amid record debt, the government is still sending workers unemployment benefits that are more remunerative than the paychecks they would earn if employed.”

Consider a few of these examples of the work (or lack thereof) crisis in our time:

  • A headline from finance.yahoo.com (9/2/21) declares, “Half of U.S. Small Businesses Have Unfilled Positions.”
  • Bloomberg (8.25.21) reports: “Thousands of cities, towns and states across the U.S. are facing the most acute labor shortage in recent memory. Regional governments have an even tougher time than businesses because they can’t compete with private-sector wages, can rarely offer remote work and they’ve faced a larger wave of early retirements during the pandemic.”
  • “Inmates are running wild on Rikers Island amid an ongoing staffing crunch that’s left charges free to stab each other, answer the phones and run through corridors destroying maintenance equipment,” reports the New York Post (8/23/21).
  • “Some of the largest U.S. food distributors are reporting difficulties in fulfilling orders as a lack of workers weighs on the supply chain,” notes finance.yahoo.com (8/24/21).
  • In the spring, we learned of a McDonald’s offering $50.00 for potential employees just to show up for an interview.
  • In July, there was the story of a Burger King in Lincoln, Nebraska, which had a sign declaring: “We all quit. Sorry for the inconvenience.” Well, “have it your way,” I guess.

Even Chick-fil-A, a company built on a Christian work ethic, has had some staffing troubles lately—at least in the case of two Alabama outlets which had to close because of staffing shortages. Fox5 New York adds: “While restaurants across the country have reopened their dining rooms after closing them due to the pandemic, a new problem has surfaced: Many businesses have reported having issues with staffing and are struggling to hire enough workers to meet the customers’ needs.”

Because of the shutdown in reaction to the pandemic, many former workers received unemployment benefits. But some states have ended those payments—prematurely, say the beneficiaries. Recipients of unemployment benefits in 15 states are suing their state to renew those benefits, observes yahoo.com/money (9/1/21).

And on it goes. I suppose if there is any bright spot in our labor crisis today it is that some people leaving the workforce are doing so to spend more time with their families.

America’s work ethic was waning long before the COVID-19 pandemic. Historically, the Protestant work ethic in America helped lead to great prosperity.

The work ethic has declined in part because of the decline of Christianity in our culture and the push for socialism. Socialism constantly undermines the work ethic by rewarding inactivity and failing to reward those who work particularly hard or well.

The founders of America did not agree with socialist principles, and they laid the framework for a country with unparalleled prosperity.

Part of the way they did this was by stressing smaller government. In his First Inaugural Address, President Thomas Jefferson said, “a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.”

The government has no money of its own. So whatever money the government spends for Citizen A, it has to appropriate from Citizen B.

There is no such thing as a free lunch—someone has to pay for that lunch.

God has given each of us a unique set of talents and skill sets. What a joy it is to put those into practice as a vocation or as an avocation for His glory and others’ good. And He will hold us accountable for our putting these things into practice.

Through the ages, the words of Paul the Apostle have inspired millions to work hard “as unto the Lord,” knowing that He will reward us. He also said that if someone refuses to work “neither shall he eat.”

An anonymous saying adds insight here: “Some people fail to recognize opportunity because it so often comes to them in overalls and looks like work.”

It’s time for America to get back to work.

Afghanistranded: Biden Leaves Americans at Taliban’s Mercy

It must have been a relief for the White House to put Joe Biden on a plane to New Jersey Tuesday. For the first time in weeks, the president got to talk about a disaster he didn’t create. And yet, while he surveyed the wreckage from Hurricane Ida, the world’s attention was still 6,900 miles away on the damage that can’t be undone: Biden’s disastrous exit from Afghanistan.

“Every time I don’t think this situation can get any worse,” Congressman Michael Waltz (R-Fla.) shook his head, “it does.” Not even a year into his term, the cries for Biden’s resignation are growing with every horrifying headline out of Kabul. Rattled by images of their president, hunched over his podium like a beaten man, Americans are struggling to make sense of any administration that would leave its own people behind. And yet, leaders from both parties warn, that’s exactly what’s happening. Even now, six planes sit idle on a tarmac in northern Afghanistan, hostages to Biden’s weakness.

And what is the State Department’s big concern? Not that passport-holding Americans are held prisoner by terrorists, but that the new Taliban government isn’t “inclusive” enough. According to a State Department spokesman, the White House’s chief complaint is not that Islamic extremists are preventing U.S. citizens from leaving, but that their new terrorist leadership group has “no women.” What a perfect snapshot of this administration’s priorities! In a deadly crisis with U.S. lives on the line, the only thing Biden cares about is gender politics.

Of course, here’s the sick irony. If this White House was actually concerned about women, they’d have never pulled out of Afghanistan in the first place. Just this week, girls were being beaten and clubbed for showing even a flicker of resistance against the Taliban. Desperate to hold on to some scrap of the freedom our 20-year presence won them, they’re risking whips, tear gas, and gunfire to demand what our president just threw away: the ability of Afghan women to work, play sports, study, and participate in society.

Meanwhile, as the president and his team are busy negotiating with these terrorists, private citizens are being forced to do the job Biden refuses to — rescue stranded Americans. While groups like Chad Robichaux’s Mighty Oaks Foundation scramble to cover the costs of planes and security, members of Congress are working just as frantically to get families out. “Like everybody else in the world,” Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) said, his constituents “didn’t know that Biden was just going to yank everybody out of Afghanistan and yank all the troops out and let the Taliban take over the entire country in a matter of hours, and then they were going to be stranded there.”

In a harrowing interview on “Washington Watch,” Jackson explained his shock that a mom and her three children from his district were trapped in the country. The Navy rear admiral-turned-congressman started ringing the phones off the hook at the State Department — to no avail. Finally, without any help from the Biden administration, he decided to launch an emergency mission to get the family out. Even with military contractors on the ground, they hit roadblocks at every turn. At one point, he says, the Taliban at the airport “eventually stuck a gun to the mother’s [temple] and told her that if she came back, they would shoot her in the head. They didn’t care who she was or what kind of passport she had. She wasn’t passing through.” They were barely 200 feet from the gate, Jackson said, “and we could not get the State Department to open the gate and let them in. This is the kind of stuff that’s happening. They were right there. [And yet], the State Department was making a lot of noise, saying they were trying to be helpful to U.S. citizens, but they were actually doing nothing — nothing — to help them.”

In the meantime, Cory Mills, the military veteran who led the extraction, had to move the family from safe house to safe house just to keep them from being killed. Finally, deciding the airports were too dangerous, he decided to take the family out of Afghanistan by land. After some terrifying twists and turns, they made it. “Cory and his team are brave patriots,” Jackson raved. “Praise God that American veterans have more resolve than Joe Biden or his State Department.”

Hours later, you can imagine everyone’s surprise when the president’s team — the same ones blocking them at every turn — swooped in to take credit, insisting that the “U.S. has facilitated the safe departure of four U.S. citizens by overland route from Afghanistan.” Are you kidding me, Jackson fumed. “This article makes me want to puke!” he posted, linking to the comments. “The State Department didn’t do a d**n thing for these people for 12 days except almost get them killed repeatedly.” Obviously, he said, they “didn’t want the success story from Afghanistan to be that patriotic American citizens are going over there and doing something that the military wouldn’t or couldn’t do.”

Democrats, who can’t jump ship on this disaster fast enough, have been equally vicious in their criticism of the president. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) said publicly that he’s been working around the clock to get American citizens and Afghan allies home — no thanks to Joe Biden. “I have been deeply frustrated — even furious — at our government,” he vented.

Now, making matters worse for Biden’s flailing PR crew, even his past failures are coming back to haunt him. Turns out, four of the five Guantanamo prisoners that Biden’s old boss released in exchange for disgraced U.S. Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl are taking choice seats in the Taliban’s new government. On Obama and Biden’s watch, even the so-called “mastermind of the regime change” was freed. They returned the favor, releasing “thousands of prisoners near Bagram airfield, including high-value… al Qaeda fighters.”

At the time, several people, including FRC’s own Lt. General (Ret.) Jerry Boykin, saw the decision for the ticking time bomb it was. He predicted way back in 2014: “…[W]e have traded for a guy that is guilty of a crime that is actually punishable by death, we traded him for five of the worst Taliban leaders in Guantanamo, two of which are mass murderers, all of which will be back on the battlefield and all of which will be threats — not only to Americans there but to the Afghan people — because before we got there, they were killing Afghans in brutal ways.”

Now, seven years later, terrorists are wearing our uniforms, hoisting our weapons, and mocking our heroes. Americans look on, filled with regret for Biden’s choices — and theirs. Before Afghanistan collapsed, 21 percent of the country said they’d take back their vote for this president if they could. But unfortunately, elections have consequences — the gravest of which, we pray, are not yet to come.

Executive Summary

11/3/2020 Election Results: Primary Findings

Two primary categories of ineligible ballots and election mishandling, encompassing hundreds of thousands of votes, render the 2020 General Election in Maricopa County uncertifiable.

An estimated 173,104 votes are missing or lost, as reported to our volunteers who went door to door verifying registration and voting information for thousands of residents. These are American citizens living in Maricopa County who cast a vote, primarily by mail, in the election and yet there is no record of their vote with the county and it was not counted in the reported vote totals for theelection. Additionally an estimated 96,389 mail-in votes were cast under the names of registered voters who were either unknown to the residents of the registration address or who were verified as having moved away prior to October 2020. Other irregularities were uncovered during the canvass at a smaller scale, including votes cast by mail from vacant lots, votes recorded from residents who had not actually voted, etc.

These results are a travesty to our democracy and our voting rights. In addition to impacted local races, such as Maricopa County Board of Supervisors District 1, decided by 403 votes, key statewide race margins are well within the numbers shown above. The Presidential race was decided by 10,457 votes statewide, and the U.S. Senate election was decided by 78,886 votes statewide.

Solution: Ban Vote-by-mail

It is obvious to anyone that voting by mail is ripe for fraud. The US Mail is not meant to be a secure transactional system. We have all known since we were children that you don’t send cash through the mail –our voting rights are far more sacred than cash. Bipartisan and Democrat Voter studies and commissions have found vote-by-mail to have the highest risk of fraud1 and most first-world democracies, such as Germany, either ban Vote-by-Mail outright or place very heavy restrictions on its use. Banning Vote-by-mail is a very simple solution to a huge problem for our Country. We cannot give up our fundamental right to vote, upon which America was built, simply because we are too lazy to go cast a vote in person.

Why does the problem of vote fraud exist?

Here, we can only speculate. But we all know that history often repeats itself, especially if forgotten.

It has become a modern day mantra that the right to vote by “secret ballot” is a sacred American right. But this is actually untrue. Until the late 1800s all votes in all States were public information. The move to the secret ballot occurred state-by-state from 1888-1950 to combat voter fraud 2 Over the first 100 years of our great republic, a cottage industry was established in voter fraud vote buying and selling. Vote fraud was a massive problem for our Country. Moving to a secret ballot made it harder for vote buyers to monitor which candidates vote sellers had voted for. Voter turnout fell between 8% and 12% as the States adopted the secret ballot and people were no longer being paid to vote.

It is quite likely that many ridiculous and frivolous arguments were put forth in those States in attempts to prevent secret ballot legislation from passing by those who leveraged the vote fraud to win elections and those who profited from it.

We now see history repeating, with a system ripe for fraud and clear evidence of fraud occurring on a massive scale. The fraud likely existing as a means of revenue for those who are able to defraud the system, and for an easy way to shift election results for those who can pay. And again we have ridiculous and frivolous arguments being put forth against common sense legislation to secure the rights of honest American citizens to vote and have their vote count.

If I were to further speculate, I would say I believe that the people who work for and run Maricopa County are good people and likely have no idea that their voting process is being manipulated for financial gain. I believe it far more likely that small groups of bad actors (criminals) operating at local levels both here and in other parts of the country engineered ways to defraud their particular voting systems and processes and then likely sell those services to other mostly local small groups of bad actors who work for candidates fixing elections, probably most likely and most often unknown to the candidates themselves. That was the previous pattern in our Country and it makes sense. Far more likely than grand conspiracies and entire election departments being “in on it.”

The second citation below contains substantial information on vote fraud in history including recent history, as well as the mal-in voting bans in most developed nations.

Canvass Overview

How it Began

Shortly after the election in November 2020, Liz Harris, a REALTOR(R) in Arizona, saw an easily verifiable social media video demonstrating a deceased person with a distinct name and birthdate who voted in the November 3, 2020 election. Combined with the increasing election fraud allegations from across the United States and within her home state of Arizona, namely Maricopa County, her curiosity peaked. Does Arizona have dead voters? Upon checking names of those over the age of 90, it seemed that the number of dead voters was not alarming. However, she noticed that there was conflicting information on where these registered voters actually resided. This led to obtaining voter lists from the country and teams of hundreds of people who began visiting registered voters at their homes.

What started small grew into a countywide grassroots effort drawing hundreds of volunteers from within the state and from across the country who collectively spent thousands of hours visiting the residences of almost 12,000 registered voters in Maricopa County. Volunteer programmers and database administrators joined together to database the voter data and build a mobile app for management and tracking of the canvass and the data it produced.

As you will read, the results are nothing short of earth-shattering.

How it was Conducted

During the canvass, volunteers would visit the homes of registered Maricopa County voters. At the door, if the resident answered, the volunteers would identify themselves as private citizens conducting voluntary election integrity research and ask if they would mind answering a few questions. Next the volunteer would ask the resident’s name and then verify it in the county data. Then the volunteer would say, “We’d like to quickly go through each registered voter at this address. First, we will start with the name identified initially and go through the other registered voters at this address.” The questions which followed were:

  • What method did you use to vote?
  • How many ballots did you receive in the mail for yourself?
  • How many ballots did you receive for person(s) who do not live here?
  • What did you do with any extra ballots received?
  • How many registered voters are there supposed to be at this address?
  • Total number of registered voters who voted in the November 2020 election?

The answers were entered into a database live onsite and later compiled and analyzed.

Areas Canvassed

Maricopa County comprises approximately 2,595,272 registered voters, making it the second largest voting district in the country and the third largest county by population. The canvass as conducted generally yields a confidence interval of 1.5% at a confidence level of 95%. Said another way, very similar to voting polls, the accuracy of these results applied to the county as a whole are within +/- 1.5% with 95% certainty, which is the scientific statistical standard for samples such as this. The results from the canvass are thus able to be applied with scientific certainty to the entire county as a whole. The canvass team conducted the canvass by canvassing across the county as well as focusing in on several precincts with ranging demographics. The entire precinct of Warner was canvassed, consisting of more than 7,000 registered voters. Partial canvasses were conducted in the Dunbar, Waggoner and Rittenhouse precincts. A partial canvass was also conducted in precincts throughout the county.

Canvass Statistics: 11,708 attempted voter contacts, interviews yielded data on 4,570 registered voters

Lost Votes

The most problematic issue we have seen in the canvass comes from our analysis of the data showing that Maricopa County is missing votes from an estimated 173,104 voters.

During the canvass, hundreds of people who showed in the Maricopa County records as not voting in the election reported that they actually did vote in the election.
Registered Voters Interviewed Who Were Shown By Maricopa County As Not Voting

During the canvass, of the 4,570 registered voters we gathered data on, 964 individuals were interviewed at their residence who were registered to vote in Maricopa County but whom the county said did not vote. Of those 964, 34.23%, or 330 people, said they had actually voted. Overall, there were 505,709 people in the county registered to vote who did not have a vote recorded in the election*. Extrapolating these results to the entire county, which can be done at a scientifically correlated confidence level of 95%, it is estimated that 173,104 voters had their votes stolen. Given the canvass confidence interval of 1.5, this number technically ranges from 165,518 to 180,690 voters.

The canvass team can make sworn affidavits supporting these findings readily available.

Interestingly, this data parallels the findings of a study conducted by Matt Braynard in November of 2020, where he phone surveyed 710 registered republican voters in Arizona who did not have a vote recorded by the State. In his survey 356, or 50.1%, of those surveyed stated that they had in fact cast a mail-in ballot.

Ghost Votes

The second-most problematic issue we have seen in the canvass comes from our analysis of the data showing that Maricopa County recorded an estimated 96,389 mail-in votes that likely could not have been physically cast by the voter that the vote was registered to. These voters did not have a secondary mailing address and were either unknown to the residents who lived at their voting address since September 2020 or were known but were confirmed to not have lived at the residence since prior to the election, and often had not lived there for many years. By law mail-in ballots are not forwarded, so it would not have been possible for these voters to have been in physical possession of their ballots.

A specific example to better illustrate what this problem looks like: One of the individuals that we canvassed has owned and lived at their home for more than a decade. For a time during 2010, they rented a room out to someone who later moved out- of Arizona. Looking back historically, although the renter had moved out of state, a vote had been cast under their name, by mail, continuing to use the same residence address, in the 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020 elections. The homeowner is innocent in this. The person who moved away is innocent as well. But somehow another person or group of people has been able to fraudulently submit mail-in votes using the former renter’sinformation in multiple elections.

Mail-In Ballots Cast Under Registered Voters Who Were Unknown to the Voting Address Residents or had Moved

During the canvass data on registered voters was gathered from registered voters at their residences, with 3606 of them listed by Maricopa County as having voted in the election. 2,897 were recorded by the county as having voted by mail . During that process, 164 mail-in voters were identified as being unknown to the resident or known but having moved prior to the election registration deadline. This represents 5.66% of all mail-in voters on which data was gathered.

Overall, there were 1,702,981 mail-in votes tallied by the in the election. Extrapolating these results to the entire county, which can be done at a scientifically correlated confidence level of 95%, it is estimated that 96,389 mail-in ballots should not have been cast due to this issue. More technically, with a 1.5 confidence interval, this number ranges from 70,844 to 121,933.

The canvass team can make sworn affidavits supporting these findings readily available.

Other Issues

We saw many other issues during the canvass including such things as a resident informing us that the name registered to that address and under which a mail-in vote had been cast was their immediate relative and deceased as of several years ago. We believe that specific issue, votes cast under the names of the deceased, can best be uncovered by an analysis of the voter registration data compared to the social security death index. Other issues which can only be uncovered by a canvass are totaled together and described below:

Total

Added together, these issues impacted 5.18% of mail-in votes, or an estimated 88,215 votes. More technically, with a 1.5 confidence interval, this number ranges from 62,670 to 113,759.

Mail-in Voters Reported Actually Voting In-Person

In gathering data door-to-door on 2,897 mail-in voters, 98 of them reported that they had actually voted in -person at the polling location.

Mail-in Voters Reported They Didn’t Actually Vote.

26 of the listed voters reported that they did not actually vote, yet a mail-in vote had been recorded for them with Maricopa County.

Votes Cast Under Registrations Listing a Vacant Lot as their Address

This category encompasses mail-in votes cast by voters registered to a vacant lot who did not have a secondary mailing address listed with the county and thus could not have physically received a ballot to cast.

CNN published an article titled:  Manchin upends Democrats’ push to enact Biden’s agenda this month, calling for ‘pause’ on $3.5 trillion bill.  The article reports in part:

Sen. Joe Manchin, the most pivotal Democratic swing vote in the Senate, threw a major wrench in his party’s carefully crafted plans to pass a massive $3.5 trillion bill by month’s end, demanding they take a “strategic pause” before considering a sweeping bill to implement much of President Joe Biden’s agenda.

Manchin, who has long been skeptical of the staggering price tag, made clear Thursday that he’s also opposed to the timeframe Democratic leaders had been charting out for months, a position that now threatens both the larger Democratic-only proposal but also the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that passed the Senate earlier this summer.

In a strongly worded op-ed published in the Wall Street Journal on Thursday, the moderate senator called on fellow Democrats to “hit a strategic pause on the budget-reconciliation legislation,” referring to the bill that can be approved in the Senate by just a simple majority — meaning all 50 members of the Senate Democratic Caucus have to support the bill or it will collapse since all 50 Republicans are expected to oppose it.

“Instead of rushing to spend trillions on new government programs and additional stimulus funding, Congress should hit a strategic pause on the budget-reconciliation legislation,” he wrote in the op-ed. “A pause is warranted because it will provide more clarity on the trajectory of the pandemic, and it will allow us to determine whether inflation is transitory or not.”

High inflation and gas prices caused by recent excessive congressional spending are hurting millions of American families and threatening our economy.   Fox News Poll reports: “83% worry about inflation, majority says benefits hurting economy.  Inflation tops the list of economic concerns for voters– ahead of taxes, unemployment, the federal deficit, and interest rates.”   The increasing gasoline prices and energy costs will likely go even higher with the left’s obsession with the New Green Deal which is part of the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill.

It is fiscally irresponsible for congress to throw more money on the inflation fire that will break the budgets of more American families and burden them with entitlement programs that will endure forever.   Additionally, the $3.5 trillion plan will require much more money from the private sector to pay for more entitlement programs thus pushing America even closer to socialism while hurting our robust economy.  This bill will increase energy costs and our dependence on foreign oil thereby weakening national security.

Florida Family Association has prepared emails for you to send to encourage Senator Manchin and other moderate Democrats to stand firm against the socialist spending bill.  This is our chance to try to slow fiscal insanity and socialism.  It is important for your influence in this situation that each senator receives their own email without inclusion of email addresses for the other representatives.  Florida Family Association urges you to take the few minutes that will be needed to send all seven emails for this important situation.

House Foreign Affairs Committee member Darrell Issa on the fight to free trapped citizens in Afghanistan and bring them back to America.

A pregnant woman named Nasria, a California native, flew to Afghanistan in June to visit family and get married. As of early September, she remained one of the estimated 100 to 200 Americans left behind in the chaotic withdrawal of U.S. forces, according to a report.

Now that the U.S. military is gone, the Taliban is “hunting Americans,” she told the Voice of America.

“I think to myself, ‘Am I going to make it home? Am I going to end up living here? Am I going to end up dying here? What’s going to happen?’” Nasria, 25, who asked to be referred to only by her first name for safety reasons, said.

“Apparently they’re [the Taliban] going door-to-door … trying to see if anybody has a blue passport,” she said.

Last week, U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., who has been working to rescue Americans remaining in Afghanistan, said during an appearance on Fox News that Nasria had been kicked in the stomach by Taliban fighters.

“Anyone who says there aren’t people stranded is wrong,” Issa said during the broadcast.

As the country fell to the Taliban, Nasria and her husband, an Afghan national, hurried to the overcrowded and chaotic Kabul airport in an effort to evacuate.

“It was so hard to get on a flight. There were a couple of days where we had to sleep on streets,” she said. “People were literally stepping over people. That’s how bad it was.”…

Democrat Party Found Guilty Of Election Violations – FEC Rules Tennessee Dems Tried To Cover Up “Misreported Millions”

Politics is often full of corruption and other money-related issues. This affects both parties, of course, but it’s the Democrats who have been found guilty of certain violations.

This involves the Tennessee Democratic Party and a large six-figure settlement. It also highlights a lot of “misreported” money that didn’t go to the right places, and failure to report financial info.

The end result — the DNC has admitted its guilt.

Politics is often full of corruption and other money-related issues. This affects both parties, of course, but it’s the Democrats who have been found guilty of certain violations.

This involves the Tennessee Democratic Party and a large six-figure settlement. It also highlights a lot of “misreported” money that didn’t go to the right places, and failure to report financial info.

The end result — the DNC has admitted its guilt.

Back in January, FEC commissioners voted unanimously that they had “reason to believe the Tennessee Democratic party” was in violation of the law.

That’s because the Party reportedly “failed to report total receipts and disbursements,” and also failed to “itemize receipts received via joint fundraising transfers.” Millions of dollars were in question in this investigation.

Interestingly, this probe was in regards to the 2016 election cycle.

We often see campaign money funneled in various directions during election cycles. But this time, the Democratic Party got caught, and it’s even more incriminating that they refused to provide the financial records.

And the numbers aren’t small, either. Via The Daily Wire:

The Democratic Party of Tennessee agreed to pay a six-figure fine to settle a Federal Election Commission case alleging that it misreported millions of dollars in campaign funds, according to new FEC documents.

The FEC said that ‘during the 2016 election cycle, the [Party] Committee failed to disclose receipts and disbursements totaling $2,739,911 on its original reports filed with the commission.’

There were also $1,509,766 in contributions the Party failed to itemize. And the Committee didn’t amend its report to reflect a gross $78,999 in fundraising efforts.

The FEC decided the Democrats were in violation across the board, and that means a big settlement.

This includes a fine in excess of $100,000 and those guilty will have to “undergo training.” However, some think this settlement isn’t an appropriate punishment, and the penalty should’ve been stiffer.

FEC Commissioner Ellen Weintraub wrote on August 27:

The negotiated agreement requires the Tennessee Democratic Party to pay a civil penalty of $103,000 for the $3,677,981 in misreported activity…

These extensive violations merited a higher penalty.

She added that the penalty in this case “deviates from and is below what the Commission would normally seek or accept.”

In this way, it seems like the Democrats got off too easy. Their Republican counterparts would probably agree, especially considering just how much money was improperly reported during the election cycle.

The other problem is that the fine and “training” likely won’t deter the DNC from just doing it again, as Weintraub noted.

Political corruption in regards to fundraising and contributions is nothing new. But when the consequences don’t really fit the crime, such issues will continue to be a stumbling block.

Even so, the fact that the FEC did find the Tennessee Democrats guilty of these violations might be a step in the right direction.

Knuckling under to pressure by Democrat activist Stacey Abrams, Georgia Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger and the State Election Board passed an emergency rule to allow the widespread use of unsupervised ballot drop boxes for the 2020 election.

Under Georgia law, only the voter or his or her legal representative is allowed to deposit ballots in drop boxes. Part of the emergency rule allowing drop boxes required 24/7 video surveillance of each drop box location.

Conservative watchdog group True the Vote, which obtained and has analyzed thousands of hours of the surveillance video, reportedly found evidence showing over 240 ballot harvesters in Georgia illegally going from drop box to drop box in the middle of the night dumping backpacks of ballots while wearing gloves, presumably to hide fingerprints.

According to True the Vote, the alleged perpetrators dumped ballots at an average of 23 drop boxes a night at drop box locations throughout the state, including ones in Georgia’s four largest counties: Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb and Gwinnett.

When the post-JFK Democratic Party adopted Marxist community organizer Saul Alinsky as its most revered political strategist, it embraced his “ends justify the means” election tactics, thus giving away the sense of honor it once had. The only issue Democrats have with election fraud is the fear of getting caught.

How pervasive was ballot tampering by USPS supervisors in 2020?

Was the alleged USPS voter fraud in Michigan an isolated incident? Not according to a subsequent Project Veritas video, in which another USPS insider, this one in Erie, PA, said the following on Nov. 5:

“These ballots coming in today, tomorrow and yesterday are all supposed to be postmarked Nov. 3. We have to separate out the ballots and give them directly to the supervisor. They’re postmarking them [Nov. 3] … and taking them directly to the ballot box.”

The next day, Nov. 6, yet another USPS insider, this one based in Coraopolis, PA, told Project Veritas that his supervisor ordered postal carriers to separate and turn in ballots postmarked after Election Day so the ballots could be sent to be counted. Illegal tampering of election ballots by USPS supervisors is clearly not an isolated occurrence.

According to the Los Angeles times, the post office has become “a potent weapon” for the Democratic Party. Indeed it has. USPS has nearly 500,000 employees. The odds are off the charts that countless other Democrat postal supervisors committed voter fraud this year in every swing state and every swing district.

How pervasive was ballot tampering by USPS supervisors in 2020? We will never know. With Biden in the White House, the matter will be swept under the rug forever, and the mainstream media will bury the story, as it routinely does with any story that harms Democrats.

According to a news segment I heard on an Atlanta radio station, after reporting Nov. 5 that less than 20,000 mail-in votes remained to be counted—which would not be enough to overcome Trump’s 18,000-vote lead in Georgia—a heavily-Democrat county announced the following day that it had magically discovered boxes containing 55,000 uncounted ballots, more than enough to flip the state to Biden. How many of those suddenly discovered ballots were illegally filled out by Democrat ballot harvesters? We will never know. How many of those ballots were postmarked after Election Day and then fraudulently hand-stamped “Nov. 3” by corrupt USPS supervisors? We will never know.

Systemic voter fraud has become a staple of Democrat election strategy

I contend that what’s reported above is but the tip of a massive ice berg of systemic voter fraud carried out by Democrats in every election cycle. I do not say that to be inflammatory. I say it because I believe it’s true. Please allow me to justify that assertion.

Three weeks prior to the 2016 election, investigative journalist James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released video of an undercover sting in which high level Democrat operatives bragged about running a nationwide voter fraud operation financed by the DNC and the Clinton campaign:

  • “We’ve been busing in people [illegal voters] for 50 years and we’re not going to stop now.”
  • ”[We know] this is illegal.”
  • “I think backward from how they would prosecute us, and then try to build out a method to avoid [getting caught].”
  • “We implement the plan across every Republican-held state.”
  • ”[Our operation] causes massive changes in state legislatures and Congress.”
  • “Hillary knows what’s going on.”

If America had an honest press, Democrats would pay a steep price for rigging elections

One of the covert operatives caught in the Project Veritas sting is a longtime Democrat named Bob Creamer. Found guilty in 2005 of tax violations and bank fraud, Creamer in no fringe player in Democratic Party politics. Official visitor logs show the convicted felon visited the Obama White House 342 times, including 47 personal meetings with President Obama, a fact that was buried by the corrupt mainstream media when O’Keefe’s explosive exposé was released less than a month before the 2016 election.

Although Creamer was forced to resign after being caught on tape discussing his role in a nationwide voter fraud operation funded by the DNC and the Clinton campaign, the Democrat dirty tricks operative was honored with a front row seat at President Obama’s Farewell Address in January 2017.  Click here to see an NBC News screengrab of Creamer and his wife seated directly in front of the podium where President Obama spoke. In the Democratic Party, getting caught bragging about a nationwide voter fraud operation is worthy of being awarded the most coveted seat in the house.

Bottom line:

When a political party projects itself as morally superior to its opponents, hyper-partisans among its followers don’t have to be told to do whatever it takes to ensure its electoral success. The postal supervisors referred to above likely required little prodding. Ditto the election officials in Philadelphia who illegally denied access to Republican observers.

Under the radar election rigging by rank and file Democrats has become an acceptable practice within the party. When added to nationwide voter fraud operations funded by Democrat presidential campaigns and the Democratic National Committee, election rigging has become a systemic problem within the modern Democratic Party.

Since voter fraud occurs one ballot at a time, “proving” the existence of widespread voter fraud is difficult. The best proof is the adage Where there’s smoke there’s fire. As documented above, plenty of voter fraud smoke hovers in and around the Democratic Party. If America had an honest press, Democrats would pay a steep price for rigging elections.

Wisconsin to begin audit of 2020 presidential election results

Wisconsin Republican state legislators approved an audit of the state’s 2020 presidential election results, to begin in the coming weeks. Former state Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman was appointed to oversee the investigation of the election results.
Michael Gableman traveled to Sioux Falls, SD to attend MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s cyber symposium on election integrity in August.

Gableman traveled to Arizona last month to learn about their election audit and how it could be useful in Wisconsin.

“I learned a lot there that will be helpful to my investigation,” said Gableman, who also attended the election fraud symposium led by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell in Sioux Falls, South Dakota last month.

Gableman’s investigation is one of several in the state of Wisconsin. The nonpartisan Legislative Audit Bureau is reviewing the results of last year’s election. Republican State Rep. Janel Brandtjen, chairwoman of the Assembly Elections Committee, issued subpoenas to election clerks in Brown and Milwaukee counties for voting machines and ballots.

President Donald Trump issued a statement calling Brandtjen a “strong and great leader.”

“All eyes are on Wisconsin as they begin their election audit,” said Trump. “Hopefully Republican Speaker Robin Vos has the integrity and strength Wisconsin needs to support Rep. Brandtjen’s efforts. Our Country is counting on it!”

Legislative attorneys have stated that election subpoenas are not valid unless Republican Speaker Robin Vos signs them.

Vos replied saying that if Gableman believes that subpoenas are necessary, “we will look into making sure those can happen.”

Republicans have attempted to change voting laws in Wisconsin since last year, but their efforts have been vetoed by Gov. Tony Evers, D-Wis. Evers vetoed legislation last month that would have required residents that vote absentee to provide ID.

Joe Biden was projected as the narrow winner of Wisconsin’s 10 electoral votes for the 2020 presidential election after securing the state by less than one percent of votes.

Decent, freedom loving Americans have no recourse. Imagine the desperation — the United Nations Human Rights Committee.

At noon on Aug. 27, 2021, outside the United Nations in New York City, Look Ahead America (LAA)and Citizens Against Political Persecution (CAPP) announced they will present a joint letter to the United Nations Human Rights Committee to investigate and demand relief for the Biden Administration’s January 6 political prisoners.

Speaking,  Matt Braynard, Executive Director of Look Ahead America and Cara Castronuova, Founder of Citizens Against Political Persecution (CAPP) regarding their  Formal Complaint. They are demanding sanctions against key Biden Administration Officials.

From the complaint:

“Today I write in support of basic human rights for a specific group of Americans who have been disparately and inhumanely treated by their government – singled out, imprisoned, and even physically abused – because of their political beliefs. As outlined herein, LAA has sought relief from several members of the United States government, as well as other U.S.-based human rights advocacy groups. We have been largely ignored, and human rights violations continue unabated, with no relief in sight. Those avenues exhausted, and in recognition of the United Nations’ long and prestigious history of human rights advocacy, we ask for your review and consideration of these prisoners’ plight.”

Matt Braynard, Executive Director of Look Ahead America, made the following statement:

“Not only do we urge the United Nations to investigate this abuse of human rights, but we ask that other governments hold US officials to the same standards US officials have held others around the world. Just as the US government has imposed sanctions on foreign leaders whom they allege have fallen short of international norms, we urge government around the world to impose travel restrictions and financial penalties against President Biden, Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and other US government officials who involved in this gross violation of human rights.”

Cara Castronuova, Executive Director of Citizens Against Political Persecution, made the following statement:

“We here at Citizens Against Political Persecution have been fighting for the January 6th detainees for months now. The government continues to unconstitutionally detain our fellow American citizens and we feel that submitting this letter to the United Nations is the next logical step towards justice. Hopefully the United Nations hears our plea, as we are the voices of the unheard political prisoners right now who are not able to speak for themselves.”

Joe Biden on Tuesday said his botched withdrawal which resulted in the deaths of 13 US service members and hundreds, if not thousands of stranded Americans was an “extraordinary success.”

However, text messages between US military commanders and private citizens paint a different picture.

“We are fucking abandoning American citizens,” said an Army colonel assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division in secret text messages leaked to Just the News:

The text messages and emails were provided to Just the News by Michael Yon, a former Special Forces soldier and war correspondent who was among the private citizens working with private networks and the military to rescue stranded Americans.

Yon told Just the News that a group of Americans were abandoned at the Kabul airport, pleading for help as military officials told them they were finished with evacuations. “We had them out there waving their passport screaming, ‘I’m American,’” Yon said Tuesday while appearing on the John Solomon Reports podcast. -Just The News

“People were turned away from the gate by our own Army,” Yon said.

“You guys left American citizens at the gate of the Kabul airport,” Yon wrote Tuesday to the commander. “Three empty jets paid for by volunteers were waiting for them. You and I talked on the phone. I told you where they were. Gave you their passport images. And my email and phone number. And you left them behind.”

He added: “Great job saving yourselves. Probably get a lot of medals.”

More than two dozen students from the Sacramento, California, area remain in Afghanistan after the U.S. evacuation ended earlier this week, according to San Juan Unified School District.

“We can confirm that we currently have 29 students, from 19 families, in Afghanistan,” Raj Rai, director of communication for the school district, said Tuesday, responding on behalf of Superintendent Kent Kern. “We stand ready to support these students and families in whatever way that we can.”

Earlier Tuesday, the total number of students from San Juan Unified School District still in Afghanistan was thought to be 32, but the district since learned that three students had been evacuated, he said.

The Sacramento area has one of the largest populations of Afghan immigrants in the U.S.

The last U.S. flight out of Kabul took off a minute before midnight local time Monday (3:29 p.m. ET), capping a bloody and chaotic end to America’s longest war and opening a new, uncertain chapter for Afghanistan.

Since July, the U.S. has helped to airlift more than 120,000 people out of Afghanistan, including roughly 5,500 Americans. President Joe Biden said Tuesday that roughly 100 to 200 Americans still remained in Afghanistan who have “some intention to leave,” many of whom are dual citizens.

While tens of thousands of evacuees made it out as the U.S. military withdrew, initial figures suggest that only around 8,500 of those who left in recent months were Afghans, according to numbers released by the Biden administration and estimates from advocates.

It was not clear if the students from the Sacramento area were U.S. citizens.

A spokesperson for the State Department said they could not comment on specific cases, but officials were continuing to assist U.S. citizens and their families in Afghanistan. The department was also continuing efforts to help lawful permanent residents, as well as many Afghans who “stood with us over the years” and are seeking to leave Afghanistan, the spokesperson said.

The Sacramento Bee reported that at an information session at a local high school last week, students and parents asked questions about how to get their loved ones out of Afghanistan. Humaira Hanif, 21, wiped away tears as she asked how to bring her mother to the U.S., the paper reported.

Travis Horne, communications director for Rep. Ami Bera, D-Calif., said his office was in close contact with San Juan Unified School District and had sent the information of students stuck in Afghanistan to the Department of Defense and the State Department.

“We are pushing the DOD and State for an update,” he said.

NBC San Diego station KNSD reported Tuesday that a San Diego-area family, including three students who go to schools in Cajon Valley Union School District, were also not able to make it out of the country. It was not immediately clear how many other U.S. school districts were missing students because they were unable to get out of Afghanistan.

The U.S. war in Afghanistan drew to a close Monday nearly 20 years after America invaded in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, toppling the Taliban government.

After a heavy cost in lives and a price tag of $2.3 trillion, the Taliban are back in power having swept aside the U.S.-backed government in a lightning-quick offensive that took Afghans and the West by surprise.

The U.S. hopes Americans and Afghans will be able to leave once Kabul airport is back up and running, but it remains unclear how long that will take.

DHS’s E-Verify Authorizes Thousands of Illegal Immigrants to Work in U.S.

The government’s pricey system to verify that employees are authorized to work legally in the U.S. is somewhat of a joke that has approved thousands of illegal immigrants and hundreds of thousands of foreigners without using its own photo-matching process to confirm identities. Additionally, the system, which is operated by the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), deemed around 4,000 foreign-born applicants as “employment authorized” based on employer-sponsored visas without verifying that candidates were actually hired by the employers that sponsored them.

The famously inefficient program is known as E-Verify, a costly database that screens new employees using records from various government agencies to confirm the candidate is in the country legally. It is a web-based system that supposedly matches information provided by new hires against DHS and Social Security Administration (SSA) records. USCIS operates it because the agency is responsible for administering the nation’s lawful immigration system. The program is available to employers in every state as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands. For private businesses it is voluntary but federal contractors and subcontractors must use it to vet workers. The government claims E-Verify is “currently the best means available to electronically confirm employment eligibility.”

That is distressing considering the lapses that have been well documented over the years. The most recent E-Verify problems are the focus of a lengthy federal audit published just a few days ago by the DHS Inspector General. In its report, the watchdog blasts USCIS, identifying “deficiencies” that illustrate the program needs “additional capabilities” to “more effectively confirm that individuals are eligible for employment in the United States.” The document identifies weaknesses in E-Verify’s process for confirming identity during employment verification and discloses that the system’s photo-matching mechanism is not fully automated, but rather, relies on employers to confirm individuals’ identities by manually reviewing photos. “We also determined that in fiscal year 2019, E-Verify returned an ‘Employment Authorized’ result for about 280,000 non-U.S. citizens without using the photo-matching process to confirm their identities,” the report says. “Additionally, although the majority of individuals submit a driver’s license to prove identity, E-Verify’s process does not use photos to ensure that individuals match the license submitted.”

It gets better. Investigators reveal they “found errors in E-Verify’s license verification process that resulted in E-Verify deeming about 613,000 individuals ‘Employment Authorized’ without meeting USCIS’ own identification system use requirement.” The probe further determined that E-Verify returned an “Employment Authorized” result for almost 3,000 non-U.S. citizens who did not meet USCIS’ verification requirements. Those are considered illegal immigrants. E-Verify also authorized 4,000 non-U.S. citizens to work based on an employer-sponsored visa without verifying that the individual was hired by the employer that sponsored them. “Lastly, USCIS has not completed full testing of E-Verify’s capabilities to determine whether the system can handle the projected increase in users,” the report states, attributing the problems to USCIS’s failure to develop or evaluate internal controls necessary to detect, track and investigate system errors. “Until USCIS addresses E-Verify’s deficiencies, it cannot ensure the system provides accurate employment eligibility results,” the watchdog writes.

Since it was launched in 1996, E-Verify’s efficiency has come under fire despite receiving generous funding from Congress. This fiscal year, the system got $118.7 million from American taxpayers. Around 909,000 employers throughout the nation use it to verify the employee work authorization of more than 40 million hires, making it an important tool to curb illegal immigration since jobs are a huge lure for migrants. For years undocumented immigrant workers have been able to pass an E-Verify check with fake identification documents. In fact, an audit conducted for the federal government more than a decade ago revealed that around 54% of illegal immigrants workers are approved by E-Verify to work legally in the U.S. It seems that little has changed to assure the system is more efficient.

Biden’s America-Last Administration: U.S. Aid Will Keep Flowing to Taliban

The war is lost, but no one is going to be held accountable and the same blinkered woke dopes are in charge. In fact, the one whose very name is Blinken, the secretary of State, explained Monday how the Taliban could gain the “international legitimacy and support” that is obviously such a high priority for them, and explained that even if it didn’t become the Leftist woke paradise of Blinken’s imagining, the American money will still flow. Of course. It always does.

Blinken claimed risibly that henceforth, the America-Last administration of Biden’s handlers would be guided by a concern for something that has never appeared on its list of priorities up to now: “our vital national interests.” Yeah, sure, Tony. Pull my other leg. More plausibly, Blinken assured the world that despite the last few weeks of catastrophe and humiliation, the American taxpayers will still be filling their cars with $4-a-gallon gasoline and driving to their pathetic nine-to-fives so that the elites can demonstrate their concern for the people of Afghanistan: “If we can work in the new Afghan government in a way that helps secure those interests … and in a way that brings greater stability to the country and the region, and that protects the gains of the last two decades, we will do it.”

The gains of the last two decades? What were those? Blinken didn’t say. He was too busy promising the Taliban American money: “The United States will continue to support humanitarian aid to the Afghan people. Consistent with our sanctions on the Taliban, the aid will not flow through the government, but rather through independent organizations, such as U.N. agencies and [non-government organizations.] And, we expect that those efforts will not be impeded by the Taliban or anyone else.”

Of course the Taliban won’t impede the money flow. They’re much more likely to appropriate it. Just as UN agencies in Gaza are wholly compromised by Hamas, it strains credulity to think that UN will be able to operate freely and independently of the Taliban in Afghanistan, or will even try to do so. But in Antony Blinken’s blinkered world, the UN is an incorrupt and thoroughly uncorruptable organization, and so no American taxpayer should object to his or her or xer money going to UN outposts in the Taliban’s Afghanistan. Really, what could possibly go wrong?

Blinken demonstrated his lack of acquaintance with reality yet again when he explained that if the Taliban wanted international approval, it would have to become a Leftist nanny state like the U.S. and its allies, all concerned with diversity and inclusiveness: “The Taliban seeks international legitimacy and support. Our message is: any legitimacy and any support will have to be earned.”

Is that right? And exactly what leverage do you have on the Taliban if they don’t earn it, Mr. Secretary?
