Are Illegal Immigrants Using Taxpayer-Funded Benefits? Not Anymore.

In another move to tackle illegal immigration, President Donald Trump and his administration are ensuring that illegal immigrants cannot access taxpayer-funded programs. The White House announced Thursday that the Trump administration “is taking the biggest step in more than 30 years to protect taxpayer-funded benefits for American citizens — NOT illegal aliens.” The Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), Education (DOE), Agriculture (USDA), and Labor (DOL) have all moved to ensure that illegal immigrants cannot take advantage of taxpayer-funded programs, which the White House estimates will save “roughly $40 billion in benefits for American citizens…”

HHS officially rescinded a Clinton-era policy which the agency says “improperly extended certain federal public benefits to illegal aliens.” The withdrawn 1998 policy was an agency interpretation of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act (PRWORA) of 1996 that “improperly narrowed the scope of PRWORA, undercutting the law by allowing illegal aliens to access programs Congress intended only for the American people.” PRWORA barred noncitizens from receiving “federal public benefits,” which the 1998 HHS policy interpreted not to apply to a broad swath of its taxpayer-funded programs.

In a statement shared with The Washington Stand, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. said, “For too long, the government has diverted hardworking Americans’ tax dollars to incentivize illegal immigration.” Rescinding the 1998 policy, Kennedy said, “changes that — it restores integrity to federal social programs, enforces the rule of law, and protects vital resources for the American people.”

The DOE also reversed a Clinton-era policy in order to terminate “taxpayer subsidization of illegal aliens in career, technical, and adult education programs.” Like HHS, the DOE had previously issued its own agency interpretation of PRWORA, not classifying numerous taxpayer-funded programs as “federal public benefits” and subsequently allowing illegal immigrants to access government-funded career, technical, and adult postsecondary education programs. Education Secretary Linda McMahon said in a statement, “Postsecondary education programs funded by the federal government should benefit American citizens, not illegal aliens.” Due to the policy shift, she said that “hardworking American taxpayers will no longer foot the bill for illegal aliens to participate in our career, technical, or adult education programs or activities.”

The USDA has also moved to reinforce protections against illegal immigrants accessing taxpayer-funded programs, especially the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps. “The generosity of the American taxpayer has long been abused by faulty interpretations of the 1996 welfare reform law,” said Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, referring to PRWORA. She insisted that “illegal aliens should not receive government dollars. This effort is one of many by the Department of Agriculture to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse of USDA’s programs and policies.”

Federal workforce development programs and related grants have also been shielded by the DOL. In order to benefit from programs funded by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, grantees and applicants must first verify that they have valid work authorization. Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer said in a statement, “By ensuring these programs serve their intended purpose, we’re protecting good-paying jobs for American workers and reaffirming this Administration’s commitment to securing our borders and ending illegal immigration.”

Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) research director Steven Camarota told TWS that legal loopholes — like those that the Trump administration is now closing — in public benefits have allowed illegal immigrants to burden American taxpayers for decades. “There are a number of reasons how and why illegal immigrants can access the welfare system, including the fact that they have U.S.-born children and they are actually eligible for some program” because of that, Camarota explained. He continued, “The bottom line is most illegal immigrant households have at least one worker, but they make extensive use of the social benefits, particularly food programs and Medicaid, because their low-average educational attainment means they generally earn low wages and qualify for programs.” Denoting legal loopholes in public benefits programs, he added, “I have no evidence that they are cheating or gaming the system, though they do seem to have extensive knowledge of the welfare system, given their use rates.”

“If we wish to avoid these costs, then enforcing the law and ensuring that as many illegal immigrants as possible go home is the only option,” Camarota insisted. He expounded, “It is virtually impossible to prevent this situation, partly because of the presence of U.S.-born children, partly because it’s impossible deny people emergency care, and partly because the United States is just not a country that’s going to stop people from receiving WIC or free school lunch or emergency medical care.” He clarified, “If the illegals remain, so will the cost.”

CIS director of Policy Studies Jessica Vaughan said in comments to TWS, “These steps are long overdue. Nearly 30 years ago, Congress decided that American taxpayers should not have to pay for welfare benefits and other services to illegal aliens.” Vaughan observed that numerous presidential administrations, starting with Clinton’s, “have chipped away at that law by creating loopholes to allow federal and state agencies to offer some of these benefits to illegal aliens.” She observed, “Now we are at the point where more than 60% of illegal alien households are accessing some form of welfare, which is an enormous cost for taxpayers, and which limits what is available to Americans who need them.”

“Taxpayers should not have to subsidize vocational or other post-secondary education for illegal aliens, who aren’t allowed to work in this country. Illegal workers displace American workers and cause their wages to go down,” Vaughan said. She emphasized, “We should not be encouraging illegal aliens to stay here to participate in taxpayer-funded training and education programs, when millions of Americans who would like to compete for better jobs should have these opportunities.”

Vaughan continued, “Similarly, illegal aliens should not receive taxpayer-funded child care or other non-emergency health and welfare programs. Access to these programs should be preserved for Americans and legal immigrants.” She explained, “Many American community leaders have learned the hard way in the last four years that generous social service programs like guaranteed access to shelter and health services are unsustainable with mass migration. Numerous studies have shown that this is because, on balance, illegal alien households contribute less in taxes than they receive in public benefits.”

Tolerating Riots Hurts Cops, Leads to Lawlessness

An inability to squelch riots is a feature of a failing, or at least a flailing, nation. The U.S. has been struggling with this problem for a decade now, and police and urban-dwelling Americans are paying the highest price.

I covered the Baltimore riots in April of 2015, which erupted after Freddie Gray died in police custody, and left a smoldering CVS pharmacy, a few other battered buildings, and a general sense that masked men can get away with a lot more than we once thought. We later learned the city leaders purposefully allowed the rioting. They told police to stand down. As many of these cases are, this one was marked by ambiguity and missing details around the death, lots of anger, and the aforementioned riots that burned down parts of the city and left several injured — including me.

But this story is not about me or my black eye 10 years ago. It is about the trend, from Baltimore and Ferguson to the 2020 BLM riots that swept the nation with little to no consequences, to the anti-ICE riots that sprang up in Los Angeles and elsewhere and persist in Portland, where several were arrested earlier this week. ICE agents now face gunfire, rocks, and public condemnation from Democrats.

After the riots in Ferguson, Missouri, there were reports of nationwide police discouragement and a spike in violent crime in many places. This phenomenon occurred again in the aftermath of the 2020 riots. Police turnover increased as cops were maligned as racist. Meanwhile, violent crime spiked. Over the last decade, anecdotal evidence suggests police officers pulled back from high-crime neighborhoods, many fearful of becoming the next scapegoat for perceived institutional racism.

I discussed this topic and more on the “Outstanding” podcast with Jason Johnson, a former cop who now serves as president of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund. Sam McCarthy, a writer for the Washington Stand who covers these topics, also joined us on the podcast.

“It devastated police morale,” Johnson said of the 2020 riots, “pretty much everywhere, to the point where there’s the immediate impact of surging crime. Crime surged in 2020 … [and] homicide numbers went up in 2020 pretty much everywhere — some places significantly, 70% in a one-year increase.” He continued, “We actually published a study on this very recently where we retrospectively looked at this data. We looked at the crime numbers, and then we looked at measures of police productivity. So when you think about hardworking police officer,” he prompted, “what do you think about them doing? You think about them making arrests, right? If you’re out there looking for criminals, you’re probably going to find them and you’re probably going to make an arrest or at least stop a stop, a traffic stop or a stop of a suspicious person. Traditionally, that’s how we kind of measured how productive our law enforcement officers are and how much work they’re doing,” Johnson explained. “And what we found was those numbers move in opposite directions. So the measures of police productivity in 2020 went down very sharply … [because] police are on the defensive.”

So, how should we think about this as Christians?

A few years ago, in a moment of uncharacteristic diligence, I memorized Romans 13. Take a look at this section:

“Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience. For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing” (Romans 13:1-6).

A few key takeaways: First, God considers government officials ministers of his wrath. Ministers. Extensions of his will. Second, God accepts punishing wrongdoers as a key and godly function of otherwise pagan governments.

Presumably, ungodly governments are at the very least expected to maintain the rule of law so that society can function and the gospel can be preached until Jesus returns and permanently manifests his more perfect governance. Inherent in this text is the idea that God supports police and doesn’t want to defund them, though reform is always an option. On top of that, God is angry at criminals and sees them as worthy of wrath — not simply victims of society and merely in need of rehabilitation. Lastly, government officials who deal with criminals, including police, are worthy of a certain amount of respect as ministers of God’s will, even if they don’t acknowledge God or walk in His ways. The Romans at the time of Paul’s writing certainly didn’t.

Of course, police must act justly. There are plenty of admonitions in Scripture about treating people, and particularly the downtrodden, with justice. But in the nation’s zeal for justice, many have forgotten the God-designed and vital role of police and the respect they deserve as a result.

“As long as you as long as you earn the respect, you will be respected,” Johnson said of these officers. “All that was taken away, and they said, ‘No, don’t respect these authority figures. They’re not good. And that that is the message that has been pumped out through popular media and throughout social media that so many young people are influenced by.”

Johnson said that because of the media narrative against police, becoming an officer “just didn’t have the same luster it had.”

“That That’s the reason that I was attracted to law enforcement. It seems like a way to do good in so many different ways. And they took that away.

Johnson made the point that young people are not as attracted to becoming officers because of the cultural narrative.

“It’s very simple. … [T]he people who have influence in our culture have to speak out about the positives of law enforcement and as a career as a profession, that it really is a good thing. It’s a good thing to do if you want to create a positive force in your community. And so, I think it’s as simple as that.”

Socialism and Jihadism United Against Traditional American and Israeli Values

What do socialists and jihadists share?

Although the religion of socialism is socialism and the religion of jidadism is Islam, these groups strategically align against their shared enemies, traditional America and Israel – staging violent protests, riots, and burnings of buildings and American and Israeli flags. Their goals are to defeat or eliminate traditional America and Israel, capitalists and Jews. Their tactics use force, deception, illusion, propaganda saturation, monetary lures, incrementalism, and harsh punishments against dissidents.

The unification of socialism and jihadism …

DECEPTION, DISCRIMINATION, DEATH, DEPRIVATION, DENIAL, DESTITUTION, DELUSIONS, DARKNESS, DREAD, DISGUISE

“Socialism artfully deceives its consumers with promises unkept — Just ask the true survivors of socialism. Socialism is anti-social, discriminating against minorities throughout history, subjugating them, and/or eliminating them.”

Although a clergyman is a jihadist, he is praised and accompanied by a democratic socialist:

Bay Ridge, Brooklyn Vigil Honors ‘Beloved Martyrs’ Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh And Top Hizbullah Commander Fuad Shukr, Orchestrator Of 1983 Beirut Attack Killing 241 U.S. Service Personnel; Speaker Declares: ‘From Within The Belly Of The Beast, We Salute The Axis Of Resistance; It Is Either Victory Or Martyrdom; We Welcome Whatever Path The Resistance Chooses To Take In Order To Dismantle The Zionist State’

On August 11, 2024, Al-Awda New York held a vigil in honor of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, who was assassinated in Tehran. A man whose face was covered with a keffiyeh read a statement drafted by Al-Awda NY. He said: “From within the belly of the beast we salute and honor the axis of resistance […] We welcome whatever path it takes to dismantle the Zionists state.” He went on to pray that the souls of the “honorable and beloved martyrs and freedom fighters Ismail Haniyeh and [Hizbullah top military commander] Fuad Shukr rest in peace.”

The U.S. Department of Treasury was offering $5 million for information leading to the capture of Shukr for the key role he played in planning and carrying out the 1983 attack on the U.S. Marine Corps barracks in Beirut, which killed 241 U.S. service members. Shukr was killed in a July 30 Israeli airstrike.

Following the vigil, participants attended a Salat Al-Ghaib in-absentia funeral prayer service at the Islamic Society of Bay Ridge – Masjid Mus’ab Bin Umayr. American lawyer and activist Lamis Deek sent a message honoring Haniyeh that was read at the vigil. According to her website, Deek is a core member and former co-chair of Al-Awda New York as well as a board member of CAIR-New York.

Al-Awda New York Activist: “The resistance has spelled it out explicitly: It is either victory or martyrdom, there is no third option.

“From within the belly of the beast, we salute and honor the axis of resistance as a vanguard of the movement for Palestinian liberation. We welcome whatever path it takes to dismantle the Zionist state and achieve liberation.

“And I will repeat: We welcome whatever path it chooses to dismantle the Zionist state and achieve liberation.”

Speaker 1: “Say: Allah Akbar!”

Speaker 2: Inshallah!”

Nazi-Collaborator George Soros Funneled $37 Million to Jihad Communist Zohran Mamdani

Why is this hostile foreign actor still allowed to undermine and sabotage our system of governance and law and order?

The ruin of this great nation is a long term project for Nazi collaborator George Soros, who described his work confiscating property from the Jews as “the happiest days of my life.” In a CBS 60 Minustes interview, George Soros reflected on his time collaborating with the Nazis, “”for me, it was a very positive experience,” “it was a very happy making, exhilarating experience,”  “for me it was a very positive experience.”

Soros means to finish the job his Nazi pals couldn’t.

“The Soros agenda is one of death and destruction in the name of open borders and ending Western Civilization,” warned Mike Howell, director of the Oversight Project at the Conservative Heritage Foundation

One NYP commenter pointed out: “As galling as this is, to add injury to insult, Soros’ organizations are considered tax free charitable organizations. That’s like giving a charity designation to the mafia and drug cartels. But considering much of that money goes straight into the pockets of democrat politicians it is not hard to understand the selling out of their souls to this kind of evil.”

George Soros funneled $37M to Working Families Party, other lefty groups backing Zohran Mamdani

By Rich Calder, NU Post, July 12, 2025:

That’s rich.

Socialist Zohran Mamdani has declared billionaires shouldn’t exist, but it’s unlikely he’d be the front-runner to become the Big Apple’s next mayor if it wasn’t for one — far-left kingmaker George Soros, financial records reviewed by The Post show.

Mamdani recently told NBC News’ “Meet the Press, “I don’t think that we should have billionaires, frankly” while doubling down on his plan to jack up property taxes on “richer and whiter neighborhoods” if elected mayor.

George Soros’ Open Society Foundation has indirectly funneled over $37M combined to the Working Families Party and other left-wing groups who helped Zohran Mamdani win NYC’s Democratic mayoral primary. Michael Nigro

But in less than a decade, Soros’ ultra-woke grant-making network Open Society Foundation has indirectly funneled a combined $37 million to the Working Families Party and at least other nine left-wing groups whose endorsements and get-out-the-vote groundwork played a pivotal role in helping Mamdani upset ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic mayoral primary, the foundation’s records show.

Since 2016, the far-left, socialist-friendly WFP — which helped score Mandani the Democratic line by brokering cross-endorsement deals that squeezed out Cuomo — has pocketed a staggering $23.7 million from Soros through its nonprofit fundraising arm Working Families Organization Inc.

And at least another $13,944,005 went to the nine nonprofits and their offshoot fundraising entities — including the Make The Road Action ($3,515,00), and social justice nonprofits Community Voices Heard ($2,635,000) and Move On ($2.3 million), and the anti-Zionist group Jewish Voice for Peace Acton ($650,000), according to records.

All those groups backed the Queens assemblyman’s mayoral campaign – as well as his Marxist agenda that includes advocating for criminal migrants and condemning Israel.

“While Zohran Mamdani attacks job creators and rails against wealth, the truth is he’s benefiting from millions in support from billionaires and the very nonprofit network he pretends to stand apart from,” Mayor Eric Adams told The Post.

“You can’t have it both ways. We need leadership that brings people together — not politicians who demonize success while quietly cashing in on it,” added Adams, a registered Democrat seeking re-election as an independent.

The mayor touted he’s a great example of the “American Dream,” considering he was born into poverty 64 years ago in Brownsville, Brooklyn, and now runs the “greatest city in the world.”

“The idea that billionaires or successful people shouldn’t exist isn’t just extreme — it’s un-American,” Hizzoner added.

Douglas Kellogg, state projects director for the conservative anti-tax group Americans for Tax Reform, said no one should be surprised Soros’ money is quietly driving Mamdani’s campaign.

The Working Families Party tapped Mamdani as its favored candidate in the mayoral race. LP Media

“George Soros is like a comic-book villain, James Bond villain who’s funding a movement designed to undermine individual freedom and liberty across the globe,” said Kellogg.

“And he’s been doing it for years, and he’s continues to do it and finds new effective faces to put in front on it. If communism and socialism was popular, he wouldn’t have to spend so much money and take so much time to try to achieve it.”

Kellogg also said he believes there will be a mass Big Apple exodus of “productive, law-abiding citizens who make New York great” if Mamdani is mayor, “so the taxpayers and businesses have a lot to lose.”

The Notorious Muslim Cleric Siraj Wahhaj and Zohran Mamdani

Among the admirers and supporters of Zohran Mamdani — such people as Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Linda Sarsour — we can add the name Siraj Wahhaj, an Islamic supremacist who has contributed his financial mite to a PAC supporting Mamdani. More on Siraj Wahhaj, and his support for Zohran Mamdani, can be found here: “Pro-Mamdani PAC Took Donation From Islamist Cleric Who Vouched For Terror Plot Mastermind,” by Hudson Crozier, Daily Caller, July 10, 2025:

A super PAC supporting Zohran Mamdani’s campaign for New York City mayor accepted $1,000 from a Muslim cleric linked to the architects of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and other terrorist plots.

Imam Siraj Wahhaj donated to the super PAC Unity and Justice Fund in May, days before it funneled most of its money to a PAC exclusively supporting Mamdani for mayor, campaign finance records show.

Wahhaj has called for an Islamic state in America, and Mary Jo White, formerly the Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, named him among involved people who are “unindicted persons” in the trial of a terror plot mastermind praised by Wahhaj as “a strong preacher of Islam.” White’s memo also said that the people on that list “may be alleged as co-conspirators,” but Wahhaj was never charged.

Unity and Justice Fund, Mamdani’s campaign and Wahhaj, who leads the Brooklyn-based mosque Masjid At-Taqwa, did not respond to multiple requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation. Wahhaj has denied any involvement in criminal conspiracies since the trial and called the FBI and CIA “the real terrorists.”

Three children of Wahhaj also received life sentences in 2024 on terrorism, kidnapping and conspiracy to murder charges for organizing a jihadist training compound in New Mexico used to plot attacks against the U.S. government, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ). Wahhaj told the press that he helped police find the training compound by reporting its location to the authorities.

In 1995, prosecutors named the imam among dozens “who may be alleged to be co-conspirators” in the trial of several men convicted of planning a terrorism campaign that included the first World Trade Center attack, court records show. The 1993 bombing killed six people and injured more than a thousand others, while the other violent plans were thwarted. Al Qaeda terrorists destroyed the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers eight years later in the 9/11 attacks.

Defense lawyers used Wahhaj in the 1995 case as a character witness for Omar Abdel-Rahman, a cleric who later served a life sentence, according to media reports and court documents. Prosecutors said Abdel-Rahman, commonly known as “the Blind Sheikh,” helped orchestrate plans to murder hundreds of Americans, attack a U.S. military installation and assassinate Egypt’s then-president. Several people connected to the World Trade Center bombing attended or visited Wahhaj’s Brooklyn mosque around the time of the massacre. Abdel-Rahman died in 2017.

Wahhaj testified that he had met Abdel-Rahman on multiple occasions and called him a “respected scholar.” By that time, Abdel-Rahman had already been a founder and spiritual leader of an Egyptian militant group that the State Department later designated a terrorist organization.

“He has memorized the many statements of Prophet Mohammed, peace and blessings be upon him,” Wahhaj said in court. “And he is bold, as a strong preacher of Islam.”

Those statements included such remarks by Muhammad, found In the “reliable” (sahih) collections of hadith, as “war is deceit” and “I have been made victorious through terror.”

Wahhaj has long drawn controversy by advocating for America’s form of government to end.

“In time, this so-called democracy will crumble, and there will be nothing. And the only thing that will remain will be Islam,” Wahhaj once said in a sermon, according to The Wall Street Journal….

Mamdani has seen widespread support from the left’s pro-Palestinian factions over his stances on Middle East conflicts. Voices on the left and the right criticized him since June for refusing to disavow the phrase “globalize the intifada,” which activists have made into a rallying cry despite it historically being tied to terrorism against Jews. Mamdani said the slogan symbolized “a desperate desire for equality.”…

As everyone, including Zohran Mamdani, well knows, the slogan “globalize the intifada” does not express a “desperate desire for equality.” The word “intifada”a refers to two campaigns of mass murdering of Israeli men, women, and children, carried out by Palestinian terrorists, that resulted in the deaths of more than one thousand Israelis. The first intifada lasted from 1987 to 1990, and the much deadlier second intifada lasted from 2000 to 2005. To “globalize the intifada” means to carry out attacks on Jews not just in Israel, but around the globe. That slogan expresses not a “desire for equality,” as Mamdani absurdly maintains, but rather, urges its hearers to take part in the mass killing of Jews — that is, a “genocide.” Yet Mamdani continues to defend that call to “globalize the intifada,” and tries to mislead the public as to the phrase’s real meaning.

Would Zohran Mamdani care to explain why Siraj Wahhaj, a Muslim cleric with ties to terrorism, who has called for the downfall of the American government, a man with three of his children now serving life sentences for their terrorist-related activities, would want to support him? Will he denounce Wahhaj, and demand that his donation to the Unity and Justice Fund, a PAC that exists only to support Mamdani, be returned to Siraj Wahhaj? No, of course not.

Statistics: ‘Sanctuary’ Policies Saw 25K Illegal Immigrants Released from Jails to Streets

A new study is revealing one of the greatest dangers that “sanctuary” cities and states pose to the public: allowing murderers and rapists to roam the streets. The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) analyzed new statistics from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and found that between October 1 of 2022 and February 6 of 2025, over 25,000 illegal immigrants arrested for crimes in “sanctuary” jurisdictions were released back into the public, instead of being handed over to ICE. Of the illegal immigrants released, 72 were charged with or convicted of homicide.

Broken down by state, California led the way by releasing 13,025 illegal immigrants from jails (52% of the 25,283 released nationwide), while Illinois trailed behind at 2,946, followed relatively closely by Virginia at 1,601. Other states that released a high volume of illegal immigrants from jails include Massachusetts (1,324), Connecticut (1,153), New York (873), Minnesota (873), North Carolina (508), Pennsylvania (486), Maryland (384), Colorado (295), New Jersey (239), Kentucky (192), New Mexico (157), Wyoming (155), Indiana (139), and South Carolina (111).

Santa Clara Main Jail in California released a total of 2,981 during the studied period. Cook County Jail in Chicago released 1,804, and Fairfax County Adult Detention Center in Virginia released 1,151. Of the 30 jails that freed the most illegal immigrants, 18 are located in California. Jails in California also let 29 illegal immigrants go with homicide charges or convictions, and Illinois jails released 28. Other jails responsible for releasing illegal immigrants with homicide charges or convictions were located in Arkansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

The study’s author and director of policy at CIS, Jessica Vaughan, told The Washington Stand that “sanctuary” policies — which largely shield illegal immigrants from prosecution or investigation on the basis of their noncitizenship and refuse or prohibit cooperation with ICE and other agencies in enforcing federal immigration law — often “attract” illegal immigrants to “sanctuary” jurisdictions.

“When a state or local government provides benefits and services to illegal aliens, it becomes well known among the migrant networks,” Vaughan said. “New York, Boston, and Denver are the latest examples, where we saw thousands of newly-arrived illegal border crossers flock to these cities under the Biden years, because these cities were offering hotel rooms, meals and other services.” She added that “criminal aliens also pay attention to local sanctuary policies, not so much for free hotel rooms, but because they know that they are not going to be turned over to ICE if they are arrested for a local crime, and they discuss this openly with reporters, local detectives, and prosecutors.”

“Sanctuary” cities have proven to be an obstacle for President Donald Trump’s mass deportation program. Just days after Trump returned to the White House, officials in Chicago began working to undermine ICE raids and shield illegal immigrants in the city. When ICE raids hit Los Angeles, the City of Angels erupted in violent riots. So far, Trump and his deputies have filed lawsuits against both Chicago and Los Angeles, two of the three largest “sanctuary” cities in the country, and the state of New York, where officials have implemented “sanctuary” policies.

“Trump has several options to try to discourage or block sanctuary policies, and he is exercising these options,” Vaughan told TWS. “He can bring lawsuits to try to obtain injunctions against these state and local policies. Those lawsuits will take some time to play out, but several have already been initiated, including most recently in Los Angeles.” She continued, “In addition, Trump can withhold certain kinds of federal funding to states and localities that interfere with immigration enforcement, such as by prohibiting cooperation.”

Vaughan noted that the Big Beautiful Bill “included a provision saying that certain grantees for law enforcement funding must comply with a provision in federal law that prohibits policies that block communication and cooperation with federal immigration agencies. Trump should also work with Congress to clarify the legal issues surrounding state and local cooperation with ICE.” She added, “I would also like to see a provision in the law to deny tax-exempt status for bonds issued by sanctuary jurisdictions to finance local spending projects, and one to allow victims harmed by sanctuary policies to sue the state and local government for damages.”

Brandy Perez, a researcher with the Heritage Foundation’s Border Security and Immigration Center, told TWS, “Sanctuary policies prioritize illegal aliens which endangers communities and make Americans pick up the check. By deliberately obstructing federal immigration enforcement efforts, local officials politicize public safety and increase the national security risk that illegal immigration poses.” Perez noted that “sanctuary” jurisdictions violate federal law “by refusing to share information with ICE or honor detainers, resulting in the release of dangerous individuals back into American neighborhoods. President Trump can push back by revoking federal funds for sanctuary states and enforcing mandatory detention…” She emphasized, “Sanctuary jurisdictions should be held accountable for their dangerous policies that upend public safety and undermine federal law.” Perez added, “State legislatures must also bring their statutes to level with federal immigration code, and ban sanctuary policies, to prevent any of their political subdivisions or law enforcement agencies from shielding illegal aliens.”

Democrat Party Endorses Global Jihad and Annihilation of the Jews

The DNC Chairman Ken Martin was asked about Zohran Mamdani’s refusal to condemn “globalize the intifada,” he responded by saying the DNC is a “big tent party.”

Democratic Party adopts “globalize the intifada” as acceptable language via its DNC Chair.

Top Democrats are being asked about how they feel about Zohran Mamdani and his past controversial attitudes towards the state of Israel. It’s now confirmed: Democrats are the antisemitic party, who apparently think that having those who wish death upon Jewish people is a winning political move (via Fox News):

‘Big tent party’: DNC chair shrugs off Mamdani’s refusal to condemn ‘globalize the intifada’ slogan

DNC chair Ken Martin said building a winning coalition means embracing differing perspectives like those from Mamdani

By: By Alec Schemmel, Fox News, July 11, 2025:

Ken Martin, the chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), dismissed concerns over NYC Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani’s unwillingness to explicitly condemn the slogan “globalize the intifada,” adding in an interview with PBS that the key to developing a winning coalition is through welcoming people with whom you disagree.

After Mamdani’s monumental upset in the Democratic primary election for New York City mayor over former Governor Andrew Cuomo, he garnered backlash for refusing to condemn a phrase used to describe violent Palestinian uprisings against Israel. The slogan, “globalize the intifada,” has become a rallying cry for anti-Israel protesters in the United States ever since Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023 attacks against hundreds of innocent Israelis.

“There’s no candidate in this party that I agree 100% of the time with, to be honest with you. There are things that I don’t agree with Mamdani that he said, but at the end of the day, I always believe, as a Democratic Party chair in Minnesota for the last 14 years and now the chair of the DNC, that you win through addition,” Martin said during a Wednesday interview with PBS NewsHour.

TOP DEMOCRATS, MEDIA DEMAND ZOHRAN MAMDANI CONDEMN ‘GLOBALIZE THE INTIFADA’ PHRASE

“You win by bringing people into your coalition. We have conservative-Democrats, we have centrist-Democrats, we have labor-progressives like me, and we have this new brand of Democrat which is the leftists,” Martin continued. “We win by bringing people into that coalition and at the end of the day, for me, that’s the type of party we’re going to lead. We are a big tent party.”

Martin conceded that sometimes this type of coalition building “leads to dissent and debate,” but, he noted, such “differences of opinion” should be celebrated and recognized as a way to move the party forward.

During a podcast last month, Mamdani referred to the controversial slogan as “a desperate desire for equality and equal rights in standing up for Palestinian human rights.” When given another chance to explicitly condemn the phrase on NBC’s “Meet The Press,” the NYC mayoral candidate once again refused to do so.

“We win by bringing people into that coalition and at the end of the day, for me, that’s the type of party we’re going to lead. We are a big tent party.”

Pro-Palestinian protesters

Anti-Israel activists hold banners that include, “globalize the intifada” during a protest commemorating ‘Nakba Day’ on May 15, 2025 in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. ‘Nakba Day,’ which means “catastrophe” in Arabic, is an annual day of commemoration for Palestinians to mark the expulsion from land that now makes up parts of greater Israel, which occurred during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. (Photo by Alexi Rosenfeld/Getty Images)

“That’s not language that I use,” Mamdani told NBC’s Kristen Welker. “The language that I use and the language that I will continue to use to lead this city is that which speaks clearly to my intent, which is an intent grounded in a belief in universal human rights.”

When Welker doubled-down on whether Mamdami would “actually condemn” the slogan, which Welker pointed out a lot of people perceive as a call to violence against Jews, Mamdani responded that he has spoken with numerous Jewish New Yorkers about their fears of anti-Semitism and said he would be committing to increasing “anti-hate crime programming” in the city by 800%.

“Ultimately, what I think I need to show is the ability to not only talk about something but to tackle it and to make clear that there’s no room for antisemitism in this city,” Mamdani responded. “And we have to root out that bigotry, and ultimately we do that through the actions, and that is the mayor I will be, one that protects Jewish New Yorkers and lives up to that commitment through the work that I do.”

Before turning to a different topic, Welker, for a third time, sought to get Mamdani on the record over whether he condemned the controversial slogan. “Why not just condemn it?” Welker asked.

“My concern is to start to walk down the line of language and making clear what language I believe is permissible or impermissible. Takes me into a place similar to that of the president who is looking to do those very kinds of things, putting people in jail for writing an Op-Ed, putting them in jail for protesting,” Mamdani responded. “Ultimately, it’s not language that I use, it’s language I understand there are concerns about, and what I will do is showcase my vision for this city through my words and my actions.”

Arab Clan Leader in Gaza Declares Open War on Hamas

Yasser Abu Shabab is the leader of one of the largest clans in Gaza, and is fighting against Hamas. More on him can be found here: “‘No stopping a civil war against Hamas,’ Gaza militia chief Abu Shabab tells KAN,” Jerusalem Post, July 7, 2025:

Yasser Abu Shabab, leader of the allegedly Israel-backed, anti-Hamas Popular Forces group, revealed to Israeli public broadcaster KAN on Sunday that his militia is actively working against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, particularly operating in the Rafah area.

“There is no stopping a civil war against Hamas,” Abu Shabab said in the interview.

He told KAN that those who comprise his militia do not belong to any political or organizational ideology. However, Abu Shabab told Army Radio in an interview last month that he denied working with Israel and confirmed his group’s relationship with the Palestinian Authority. In that interview, he said that he wouldn’t rule out cooperating with the IDF on issues such as humanitarian aid distribution in the future….

Abu Shabab may deny working with Israel, but he is believed to have accepted weapons from the IDF; for obvious reasons, he keeps quiet about that. And he knows that his forces, and the IDF, share a common goal: to fight against and destroy Hamas. He has also said that he could see his group cooperating with the IDF on the distribution of humanitarian aid and similar issues, no doubt including the rebuilding of hospitals and schools. He claims to be open to people of all ideologies — except for Hamas, which is the Gazan branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. He also said that he has a relationship to the Palestinian Authority, which is Hamas’ bitter enemy, but offered no details.

He’s blaming Hamas, not Israel, for the Gaza War, and the misery that the war that Hamas started on October 7, 2023 has brought to so many people in Gaza. The “aggression” he deplores is that of Hamas, not the IDF. It’s a remarkable statement from a Palestinian leader in Gaza.

Abu Shabab is known to be receiving military assistance from Israel. Financial assistance — to pay his men — may come from the Arab enemies of Hamas, including the Emirates and Saudi Arabia, whose leaders would not want a Gazan enclave ruled by an affiliate of the Muslim Brotherhood, an organization that is a direct threat to the Arab monarchies of the Gulf. Logistical support, however, could only come from the IDF, that has mapped out every part of Gaza and knows the positions, the weapons, the command-and-control centers, of all the forces belonging to Hamas.

Abu Shabab claimed that after Hamas leaves power, the Popular Forces will rule the enclave afterwards. “Hamas knows and understands this; the Popular Forces will be the heirs in Gaza after they are crushed and defeated,” KAN quoted him….

The Popular Forces is the name being given to the collective of local clans opposed to Hamas, of which the Abu Shabab’s clan is one part, albeit one of the most powerful.

Keenly aware of Hamas’ weakness, and of his own clan’s power — it has many hundreds of fighters, with more recruits, including non-family members, streaming in to join the group in its war with Hamas, and has been well provided with arms by the IDF — Abu Shabab is simply going to let the ultimatum pass. He knows Hamas is no longer capable of imposing its will on the powerful families like his own.

Hamas won’t dare to attack him when the ten-day ultimatum ends. It knows that if it is bloodied by Abu Shabab and his men, the humiliation will be so great as to efface completely whatever little authority it had left. Hamas doesn’t want to risk it. But in failing to enforce its own ultimatum, it will also be humiliated. In Gaza, what’s to come is still unsure, but one thing is certain: Hamas will be out of the picture, militarily and politically, and very likely, physically as well.

What really happened at the Trump-Netanyahu summit?

Sometimes the news is not what you hear, but what you don’t hear.

From what I can see, the Trump-Netanyahu White House meeting this week falls into the latter category.

There were no big statements and no joint press conference, something Trump loves to do whenever he has great things to announce — or great perfidy to expose (remember the Zelenskyy White House meeting?)

In his interview the next day with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo, Prime Minister Netanyahu praised Trump repeatedly for the US efforts to take out Iran’s nuclear weapons capabilities.

Netanyahu called the 12-day war with Iran a “joint” effort, and praised the valor of the US B-2 pilots who flew the 37-hour long mission to bomb Iran’s underground enrichment site at Fordo into railway ballast.

All of this was music to Trump’s ears, of course. But there was more than just flattery.

Netanyahu talked cautiously of reaching a 60-day ceasefire with Hamas that would return half of the living and dead Israeli hostages, and of a follow-on deal that would totally eradicate Hamas.

But he was remarkably short on detail.

The media had been saying Trump was “summoning” Netanyahu to the White House — once again — to get him to stop the war in Gaza.

Trump was being hammered by the Saudis to get Israel to agree to a Palestinian state (Trump being “hammered’? Really?).

Once again, I think the pundits were wrong.

The last time the two met, the media was also saying Trump was going to pressure Netanyahu to ease up on Gaza. Instead, the two plotted their joint operation to take out the Iranian nuclear weapons capabilities.

That operation included significant strategic misdirection by the United States, starting with deception by President Trump himself, who reminded the Iranians that he was willing to talk, thought they wanted to talk, and said they could make a great deal that would benefit the Iranian people and the regime.

Instead, they got GBU-57s down the ventilation shafts of Fordo.

This president has shown he understands multi-dimensional warfare, as my military friends call it, from strategic misdirection and the tactical diversion of B2s the day of the bombing, to a knock-out blow bombing, using our biggest weapons against their weakest point.

Israel took out Iran’s air defenses, destroyed their ballistic missile launchers and manufacturing plants, and killed the heads of Iran’s nuclear and missile programs as well as leaders of the repressive apparatus. The U.S. then took out Fordo.

That is the new definition of “combined arms”: a US-Israel military coalition that will bring peace to the Middle East through an overwhelming demonstration of strength.

So what’s next? Hamas is on its last legs. A report from one of the remaining Hamas leaders, widely quoted in the Arab press, acknowledged that Hamas has been decimated, with 95% of its leaders killed and its ability to govern Gaza obliterated.

Rival Palestinian groups — not affiliated with the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank – are cooperating with the US-Israeli Gaza Humanitarian Foundation aid distribution effort, so Hamas mafia goons can’t steal the aid and resell it.

Rival Palestinian and Bedouin leaders are rising up and calling on the population to join the Abraham Accords and make a real peace with Israel. What a game-changer that would be!

I think big things are afoot, which explains the relative quiet surrounding the Trump-Netanyahu summit.

But what is the actual plan?

As wider heads than me have said, those who speak don’t know, and those who know don’t speak. So we shall have to wait and watch and listen.

I discuss this, as well as the latest from the war in Ukraine and the prospect for new sanctions on Russia, in this week’s Prophecy Today Weekend.

VIDEO: The Shadow War: Netanyahu and Trump vs. the Deep State

While the world watches the Trump-Netanyahu meetings in D.C., assuming they are focused mostly on Gaza, an underlying war for Israel’s future is unfolding behind closed doors, and it’s not just about Hamas or Iran. In a quiet but decisive alliance, Netanyahu and Trump are taking on the unelected deep states in both Jerusalem and Washington that have worked to sabotage their governments, paralyze military action, and undermine democratic control.

Gaza Ceasefire Inches Closer, but Israel Remains Committed to Defeating Hamas

Hamas’s genocidal war against Israel is proceeding so poorly that the masters of propaganda have now stooped to throwing grenades at aid workers. On Saturday, America suffered its first casualties in Gaza since Biden’s floating pier fiasco, when terrorists motivated by Hamas’s cash bounties threw grenades at two civilian contractors delivering aid to Gazans through the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). Fortunately, the grenades failed to kill their victims, just as Hamas has failed to prevent GHF from delivering more than 60 million free meals to Gazans, thus undermining their authority.

Since Hamas’s militias are pulverized every time they face Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in open combat, the terrorist organization is reverting to familiar terrorist tactics, such as roadside bombs. On Monday night, Hamas killed five IDF soldiers and wounded 14 after remotely detonating three roadside bombs, then opening fire on forces who arrived to rescue the wounded. In late June, a Hamas militant killed seven IDF soldiers after throwing a bomb inside their armored vehicle. Since Israel ended its 12-day ceasefire with Iran, at least 17 Israeli soldiers have been killed in Gaza.

Such tactics and attrition may remind Americans of the circumstances that American soldiers faced as they tried to maintain order in Iraq after the downfall of Saddam Hussein. Some polls suggest that Israelis are also growing tired of a seemingly endless struggle, with around 70% of Israelis now supporting an end to the war in exchange for the release of all hostages.

At the same time, Israel’s campaign to clear and hold Gazan territory has gone relatively well. The IDF said on Friday that it now holds operational control over approximately two-thirds (65%) of the Gaza Strip. Whether the IDF presses through the remaining portion of Gaza, or Israel strikes a deal with Hamas, the time is ripe to hammer out a resolution to the war in Gaza.

On Tuesday morning, a senior Israeli official told reporters in Qatar that negotiators had already settled 80% to 90% of the terms for a new ceasefire. According to an Egyptian official, Hamas would release 10 living hostages and 20 dead hostages during the 60-day ceasefire. Hamas also agreed to hold no public humiliation spectacles before releasing them.

At first, Hamas objected to the ongoing operation of GHF in Gaza, since its operation discredits the terrorist organization, and the terror group cannot plunder its aid. But the two sides have reportedly struck a compromise, under which the U.N. and Palestinian Red Crescent will lead aid operations, but GHF would continue to operate.

Remaining areas of disagreement reportedly include the ongoing presence of IDF inside Gaza and the prospect for the ceasefire to turn into a permanent peace. “Israel wants Hamas gone. Hamas wants to retain power. So, right there, you get this conflict,” analyzed Family Research Council President Tony Perkins.

Of course, the more fundamental reason behind both Israel’s wish to expel Hamas and Hamas’s wish to cling to power is that Hamas is unwaveringly committed to the annihilation of Israel — as they demonstrated on October 7, 2023.

“The single biggest obstacle standing in the way of this [peace] is Hamas, and particularly Hamas’s possession of hostages, because the hostages are literally the only leverage Hamas has,” said Regent University professor A.J. Nolte on “Washington Watch” Tuesday. “The desire of the Israeli people is to bring them home … but they also recognize that, any deal you make, Hamas has a very high likelihood of breaking.”

Thus, the question persists of who will govern Gaza after Israel’s war with Hamas ends. “History will tell us that evil will fill a void there in the Middle East very rapidly,” Perkins predicted. “We’ve seen that happen before.”

The aforementioned Egyptian official said the current ceasefire proposal would “put Gaza under a group of Palestinians without political affiliations known as the Community Support Committee,” summarized The Times of Israel. Yet Israel is “not talking about giving up land this time,” Perkins pointed out. Although Netanyahu is willing that “Palestinians should have all the powers of governance,” he said, “Israel would have to retain control of security over Gaza,” which rules out the classic two-state solution.

During his trip to Washington, D.C. on Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also endorsed President Trump’s proposal to relocate the current population and turn the Gaza Strip into a luxury resort. “They want to give the Palestinians a better future,” he suggested. “I think we’re getting close to finding several countries [where they could go]. I think this will give them the freedom to choose. Palestinians should have it, and I hope we can secure it.”

Negotiations in Qatar have continued as Netanyahu’s stay in Washington enters its third day. After a Monday dinner meeting, a senior Israeli official said there was “full trust” and “total coordination” between American and Israeli leaders.

Israel has made some concessions, including a redrawn proposal to partially withdraw IDF troops from Gaza, which Arab diplomats attribute to U.S. pressure. Yet Israel has not budged on its core requirements, which include no permanent end to the war until Hamas is thrown out of Gaza.

Israel will only accept a future vision for Gaza in which “there is no more Hamas,” a senior official said Tuesday. “It has to lay down its weapons. Its people have given up. The leaders have been exiled. Another force has taken over the territory and prevents the use of weapons.”

When the remnants of Hamas’s battalions have exchanged any hope of victory for random attacks on aid workers distributing food to Gazans, the final expulsion of Hamas will be good for Gazans too.

Inciting Political Violence: The Hypocrisy of the Left

As people who live in a fallen world with prevailing hatred and violence, it’s great to see politicians speak out against these issues that run rampant in our country.

But many of the same hypocrites who tell us to strive for peace continue stirring division, strife, and anger through their words and actions. How can they vehemently cry for unity when their actions so obviously strive for discord?

Exposing the duplicitous statements of the Left is necessary to reveal their lack of consistency as a political party and ideological group.

‘Condemning Violence Is Important’

According to Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), “Condemning violence is important, but it is not enough. We must also confront the toxic forces radicalizing individuals, and we must do more to protect one another, our democracy, and the values that bind us as Americans.”

What are the “toxic forces” he is referring to? Well, we could argue that Schumer himself acts as one of these “toxic forces” as he encourages unnecessary fear and hatred within his supporters by using inflamed and oftentimes false language.

When President Trump sent the U.S. Marines into the violent and devastated streets of California in the early days of June, Schumer posted on X, “Trump’s order deploying active-duty Marines to an American city is outrageous. It’s unnecessary. It reeks of authoritarianism. That’s what authoritarian dictators do.”

Comparing the President of the United States — the leader of the freest country in the world — to an “authoritarian dictator” such as Stalin or Hitler is one of the most obvious examples of a “toxic” force that can only be topped by some of the following statements of other Democratic leaders.

Schumer’s toxicity and violence-inducing language is clear in his X post about the recent altercation involving Senator Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) at Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s press conference. He wrote, “The way agents treated Senator Padilla is what you see in totalitarian regimes. It is outrageous that Secretary Noem let this happen, then lied about the incident after the fact.”

But the minority leader failed to mention that Padilla had the right to ask questions if he would’ve simply sat down and showed decorum like everyone else in the room, instead of rushing up to the podium and yelling at Noem as though being a senator makes him entitled to circumventing the press conference process.

‘The Culture of Violence … Must End’

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) posted on X, “The culture of violence that has been created by political extremists in this country must end” in response to the horrific shooting of two Minnesota state legislators.

If this is Jeffries’s belief, why does he seek to tear down the very agencies that protect the state he represents? “Every single ICE agent who’s engaged in this aggressive overreach and who are trying to hide their identities from the American people will be unsuccessful in doing that,” Jeffries claimed. “This is America. This is not the Soviet Union. We’re not behind the Iron Curtain. This is not the 1930s. And every single one of them, no matter what it takes, no matter how long it takes, will, of course, be identified.”

Other prominent democratic leaders followed Jeffries’s lead on this issue. Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell (D) doxed ICE agents, releasing information regarding interactions they had with Nashville emergency services, as well as some of their identities, making them subject to gang retaliation. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D), who formerly ran for vice president in the 2024 presidential election, said at his University of Minnesota Law School commencement speech, “[ICE Agents are] Trump’s modern-day Gestapo.”

But comparing a federal law enforcement agency to the political police force of the Nazi regime isn’t promoting a culture of violence? What do these Democrats think will happen when they consistently fill their listeners’ minds with this level of hateful propaganda?

‘Violence of Any Kind in Our Country Is Unacceptable’

Also responding to the tragic shooting of the two Minnesota state legislators, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), stated, “Violence of any kind in our country is unacceptable. Political violence can unravel our increasingly fragile democracy.”

Yet Sanders consistently uses inflammatory language to convince his supporters and others on the Left that the greatest evil in our world is the President of the United States. Why? Because he’s a Republican. Sanders has said on X, “Trumpism isn’t just about oligarchy, authoritarianism & kleptocracy. It is the deeply held belief that the rich & powerful have the ‘divine right’ to rule.” Oligarchy? Authoritarianism? Kleptocracy? The government Sanders is referencing is the same government he was praising in 2024, but apparently, he changed his mind the moment Democrats weren’t in control.

Sanders also posted on X, “In 1776 brave Americans took on and defeated the most powerful despot in the world. In 2025 we will do the same,” to promote his appearance at the Kings rallies that took place on June 14. An interesting statement from someone who is so deeply worried about unraveling “our increasingly fragile democracy.”

‘Anti-Semitism Is a Threat to All We Hold Dear as a Society’

After the murders of two Israeli Embassy workers, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) wrote on X, “[W]e must be clear that hatred has no home here. Antisemitism is a threat to all we hold dear as a society. It must be confronted and rooted out everywhere.”

But in March of 2024, Ocasio-Cortez said in a speech on the House floor that Israel was committing “genocide” and had “crossed the threshold of intent.” And days after the one-year anniversary of the October 7 attack, Ocasio-Cortez posted on X “The horrors unfolding in northern Gaza are the result of a completely unrestrained Netanyahu gov… This is a genocide of Palestinians.”

Ocasio-Cortez also condoned the anti-Israel protests that endangered hundreds of Jewish students across America. In her Earth Day speech, she said, “It is especially important that we remember the power of young people shaping the country today of all days, as we once again witness the leadership of those peaceful student-led protests on campuses like Columbia, Yale, Berkeley and many others.”

‘[We Should] Recommit Ourselves to Civility and Respect in Our Politics’

The July 13 assassination attempt on President Donald Trump was a unifying moment for all parties. At least for a few hours. In response to the assassination attempt on President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, former President Barack Obama stated, “There is absolutely no place for political violence in our democracy. Although we don’t yet know exactly what happened, we should all be relieved that former President Trump wasn’t seriously hurt, and use this moment to recommit ourselves to civility and respect in our politics.”

Former President Joe Biden also notably stated, “This heinous attack motivated by politics should never happen in America. We must give hate and extremism no safe harbor, and we must all unite against political violence as a nation.”

And yet, the former president’s office replied affirmatively a few months later that Trump is a dictator. Asked if Biden believes Trump is a “fascist,” then-White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre answered, “I mean, yes … the former president has said he is going to be a dictator on Day 1. We cannot ignore that.”

“Civility and respect in our politics” are sentiments the Democratic Party clearly lacks. In the last few months, our country saw former FBI Director James Comey post — and then delete — a picture of shells depicting “8647,” with 86 commonly meaning to “get rid of” something, and 47 being a reference to the 47th president, Donald Trump.

We also saw Democratic Representative Al Green (Texas) stand up and shout during Donald Trump’s speech to Congress. Even after the respectful intervention of House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), who “issued a warning for order, banging the gavel,” and told Green to “Take your seat, sir!” the Texas congressman continued his disruption until he was removed from the House chamber.

And we witnessed the heated, disrespectful committee meeting where Democratic Representative Salud Carbajal (Calif.) said to Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, “You know what? I’m not going to waste my time anymore. You’re not worthy of my attention or my questions. You’re an embarrassment to this country. You’re unfit to lead. And there’s been bipartisan members of Congress that have called for your resignation. You should just get the hell out and let somebody competently lead this department.”

These are just a few examples of the aggression, hatred, and lack of propriety that run rampant amongst the Democratic Party. Where is the peace, decorum, and tolerance that they keep talking about? As they say, “Rules for thee, but not for me.”

Democrats Are Telling Their Representatives They Want BLOOD In the Streets

Axios has a blockbuster story about how Democrat Party activists are literally asking for blood in their fight against Trump. Democratic lawmakers are getting a harsh reality check, according to a new Axios report that claims many of their voters want violence. Not just any old Democratic Party violence, either – but the blood of the electorate.

Just like their pre-civil war Southern Democrat predecessors, they are braying for blood, itching for civil war to ensure slavery continued. Same party, same fight – now they want bloodshed in defense of oppression, suppression of individual rights, destruction of equality for all before the law and the ruin of our nation.

Don’t expect the dying, legacy media to report on this. They are complicit.

(Axios):  Many lawmakers said these voters tend to be white, well-educated and live in upscale suburban or urban neighborhoods. “What I have seen is a demand that we get ourselves arrested intentionally or allow ourselves to be victims of violence, and … a lot of times that’s coming from economically very secure white people,” said an eighth House Democrat. “Not only would that be a gift to Donald Trump, not only would it make the job of Republicans in Congress easier if we were all mired in legal troubles … [we are] a group that is disproportionately people of color, women, LGBTQ people — people who do not fare very well in prison.” The bottom line: “The expectations aren’t just unreal. They’re dangerous,” the eighth House Democrat said. (Axios)

David Strom: Remember when democracy itself was at stake if Trump won? The Democrats weren’t kidding–their view is that unless they win by democratic means, they will use other means to get their way. (Hot Air).

Democratic Lawmakers Disturbed as Their Own Voters Demand Violence: ‘There Needs to Be Blood’

By Johnathan Jones, Western Journal, July 7, 2025:

Democratic lawmakers are getting a harsh reality check, according to a new Axios report that claims many of their voters want violence.

Not just any old Democratic Party violence, either – but the blood of the electorate.

Axios quoted several Democrats who were stunned by the rhetoric they’re now hearing from their own base in a piece that was published early Monday morning.

One of nine House Democrats who spoke to Axios off the record said, ”Some of them have suggested … what we really need to do is be willing to get shot.”

The lawmaker added, “Our own base is telling us that what we’re doing is not good enough … [that] there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public.

These weren’t isolated statements.

Axios noted that multiple Democratic lawmakers and aides said they were alarmed by the number of rank-and-file party voters who had told them in recent months that violence was the answer to what they viewed as America’s political crisis.

The publication added that some of these voters said they were fed up with what they viewed as a system that is stacked against them.

Statements Democrats were willing to make without their name attached to them include, but are not limited to:

“[Civility] isn’t working…”

“[Prepare for violence] … to fight to protect our democracy.”

“It’s like … the Roman coliseum. People just want more and more of this spectacle.”

“What I have seen is a demand that we get ourselves arrested intentionally or allow ourselves to be victims of violence, and … a lot of times that’s coming from economically very secure white people.”

No one should be surprised that so-called progressive voters are experiencing bloodlust.

For nearly a decade, Democrats have pushed nonstop doomsday rhetoric about President Donald Trump and the conservative movement.

They’ve compared him to Hitler. They’ve called him a dictator. They’ve claimed without evidence that the country is experiencing a death rattle.

These people incited not one, but two assassination attempts against Trump last summer — that we know of.

Now, Democrats are realizing that their constantly crying wolf and stoking fear has led much of their base to take them seriously.

Axios reported that lawmakers who have faced the brunt of violent opponents are trying to calm tensions.

But the damage is done. This is what happens when partisan media and elected officials normalize panic and desensitize imbalanced people to violence.

It’s liberal voters, egged on by years of apocalyptic headlines, outright lies, and wild accusations.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Has Been Plotting to Kill American Officials

The Iranians have hired killers to threaten, scare, and attack Israeli and Jewish sites in Sweden and Denmark. Live grenades were found near the Israeli embassy in Stockholm, and grenades were actually thrown at the Israeli embassy in Copenhagen. The leading Israeli defense company Elbit had explosives go off at its offices both in Sweden (Gothenburg) and in Belgium (Brussels). Iran supplied to its criminal mercenaries a list of targets and what was to be done with them: kidnappings and murders of Israelis, attacks on Jewish community sites, grenade attacks on Israeli embassies and Israeli-owned businesses, and the killing of exiled Iran journalists. Quite a long list.

The Iranians, or their mercenaries, have been plotting to kill American officials. An Iranian plot to kill Mike Pompeo, Trump’s former Secretary of State, was foiled in time. Another former Trump official, former National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien, was tailed by two “Middle Eastern men” in Paris to his hotel, from which he later had to be “extracted by his security detail.” Were those who had been following him Iranians, or men hired by the Iranians? And were they intent on killing him, or only on threatening him?

Tehran’s agents managed to stab a dissident Iranian journalist in London. An enemy of the Tehran regime, the singer Shahin Najafi, almost died after an attack on her in Hannover, Germany.

Another Iranian plot was directed at killing John Bolton, Trump’s national security adviser from 2018 to 2019. Bolton has long been an outspoken hawk on the Islamic Republic. He is now under round-the-clock security. The government has offered a $20 million award for information leading to the arrest of an Iranian national, Shahram Poursafi, whom the American government believes tried to hire hitmen to kill Bolton. Poursafi is likely to now be safely back in Iran.

Hezbollah, and thus its puppet-master Iran, was responsible for the 1994 attack on the Argentinian Mutual Israelite Association (AMIA). Iran, through Hezbollah, was also responsible for the attack on the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires in 1992. Alberto Nisman had investigated and uncovered incontrovertible evidence of Iran’s role in the AMIA attack. For that, he had to be killed.

All over Europe, and in North and South America, too, dissident Iranians and their non-Iranian supporters, and Jewish communal leaders having nothing to do with Iran, are known to be the targets of the Iranian regime, either directly using its own nationals, or employing members of Hezbollah, or even common criminals, whom it hires to carry out some of its political assassinations. The fatwa against Rushdie was ultimately carried out; he lost an eye, and almost died in the attack. In New York City, several attempts have been made to kill the anti-hijab activist Masih Alinejad, but have been foiled in time; she now requires a permanent security detail. In the Netherlands, an MP, Ulysses Ellian, received a threatening letter from Iran’s Embassy, counseling him to stop speaking out about Iran — or else. He made the letter public, and has not been cowed. But the government of the Netherlands has yet to take action against Iran’s Embassy by, for example, demanding that the author of the letter be expelled, or perhaps threatening to shut down Iran’s embassy in The Hague altogether, a move sure to get Iran’s attention.

Providing security details to those threatened with death by the Iranians should not be the only response. In any country where threats are made by Iranian diplomatic personnel, or carried out by Iranians or those in their pay, the response ought to be to cut off diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic. After a few such cut-offs, the Iranians are likely to stop their overseas plotting. And if that cutoff in diplomatic relations does not have the desired effect, then the next stop is to place crippling economic sanctions — ending all Iranian imports, for example, to whatever country has experienced an attack by Iranian agents on its soil. Iran’s economy is already collapsing; such sweeping measures, carried out by half-dozen of Iran’s most important trading partners in Europe, will topple it.

DOJ ‘Thoroughly’ Investigating Hamas Apologist Group Favored By Democrats

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating whether a Muslim advocacy organization it previously linked to Hamas should maintain eligibility to receive taxpayer funds, according to emails obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The DOJ’s Executive Office for Immigration Review said June 30 that it was currently probing a complaint accusing the California chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) of irregularities in its financial reporting and support for terrorism. The review centers around federal funding California has allocated for immigration-related services to CAIR, a group that high-profile Democrats have embraced for years as a force for civil rights.

“We appreciate your patience as we thoroughly review the matter,” the DOJ wrote to watchdog group Intelligent Advocacy Network (IAN), which filed the complaint on March 13. “Should we require additional information, we will reach out to you.”

Federal officials named CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2007 trial of activists who were convicted of running a charity funding Hamas, and the United Arab Emirates labeled CAIR a terrorist organization in 2014, IAN noted. The DOJ’s court filings said CAIR was part of a “Palestine Committee” led by a Hamas official advancing the Islamist group’s interests in the U.S.

CAIR’s local media team did not respond to multiple requests for comment. California’s Department of Social Services, which allocated the federal government’s funds to CAIR, did not respond to a request for comment.

IAN’s complaint also highlights past statements by Zahra Billoo, who leads CAIR California’s San Francisco Bay Area office, in which she praised Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, massacre in Israel as “decolonization” and declared that a slain Hamas leader’s “martyrdom is not in vain” in July 2024. In 2018, former Democratic California Gov. Jerry Brown appointed Billoo to an advisory panel tasked with informing California’s state librarian on “civil liberties and civil rights issues,” state webpages show.

IAN also accused CAIR California of failing to report some government funds on its tax forms, inexplicably awarding subgrants to itself through its regional offices and other discrepancies, citing state and federal documents it obtained. In one example, CAIR awarded more than $3.6 million to “CAIR LA,” a branch of CAIR California that is not a registered tax-exempt nonprofit but a part of CAIR California, records show.

CAIR California called IAN a “hate group” promoting a “smear campaign” in a March press release responding to the complaint.

We operate in full transparency and cooperation with the State of California and their thorough reporting requirements,” CAIR California CEO Hussam Ayloush said at the time without addressing IAN’s specific claims. Every penny—not just every dollar—of government grants is accounted for, and transparently and effectively used to empower vulnerable populations.”

The Muslim group denies supporting terrorists or having ties to them and dedicates a section of its website to debunking such allegations. It emphasizes that the DOJ was never required to prove its claims about CAIR in court.

CAIR’s website also argues that its national executive director, Nihad Awad, was not supporting terrorism when he publicly said that he is “in support of the Hamas movement” in 1994, a statement that IAN’s complaint references. Awad and CAIR opposed Hamas after it began suicide bombings and was declared a terrorist group by the U.S., CAIR’s website says. However, Hamas released a charter that called for eradicating Jews years before Awad expressed support for the organization.

“We welcome the DOJ’s confirmation last week that its investigation is ongoing,” IAN told the DCNF. “CAIR-CA’s financial misconduct, regulatory violations, and Hamas-aligned rhetoric make it unfit to retain its DOJ immigration accreditation.”

“Its parent organization, CAIR, was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing case involving Hamas in U.S. history. That legacy continues today through statements and actions by CAIR-CA’s top leadership,” IAN said. “Public money must never be used to subsidize organizations that flout statutory and regulatory obligations or undermine national security.”

The DOJ’s Executive Office for Immigration Review and media team did not respond to the DCNF’s requests for comment.
