The full interview with Kamala — Israeli analysis

Israel’s TOP analyst for American affairs AND NEWSRAEL Contributor, Dr. Kobby Barda watched the first interview of Candidates Harris & Walz, and here are his thoughts on the different issue talked about.

FRACKING

Harris claims in the interview (although Dana Bush, the interviewer, presses her gently and claims that she did oppose oil shale drilling.

In 2020, your administration opposed the ban then and would not enforce a ban on oil drilling today. As you remember, the countries of the Green new deal led by AOC, which the administration happily joined, as seen by the supporters in the photo below:

Harris understands that the issue is dramatic for the residents of the important state of Pennsylvania, she hit it hard earlier this month, so she sharpened the message. And so NOW, in the interview, she makes a magnificent flick-flack, of rowing towards the center because of the progressive fringes, who sanctified fracking as part of their doctrine.

In this she tries to deal with the issue of inflation, to which the price of fuel has a significant importance related to it, when in the interview she emphasizes the lowering of insulin prices for diabetics to a maximum of $35 per month, an issue that President Trump claims to have started in the first place during his time as president as part of the lowering of drug prices.

THE BORDER

The interviewer asks Harris about the current administration’s failure to manage the border, with special emphasis given to her as the “Czar” of the issue by the president, to which she replied that she made an effort and placed the blame on Trump for torpedoing legislation to help stop immigration, which  is about 8 million illegal immigrants.

The law was supposed to add 1500 border inspectors, who were supposed to help stop the illegals, and then she was asked by the interviewer, about the fact that in a debate in 2019 she said that crossing a border should not be a criminal offense, Harris elegantly ignored it, and in this context also broke towards the center from the progressive fringes who called for the abolition of the immigration police ice.

Harris tried to use her experience as a California prosecutor as someone who was tough on immigration. At this stage of the interview the interviewer tries to (gently) understand the zig zag in her decisions regarding policy and whether the policy that is presented will actually be implemented and Harris said that she keeps what she says over the years.

ANOTHER QUESTION IGNORED BY KAMALA

Later, she was asked about Trump’s treatment of her and that she recently became black, she skipped.

ISRAEL

The next question was about Israel and I refer to a past Harris-Waltz interview regarding the war in Gaza.

One feels that Harris is trying to square the circle, but definitely calms (at least in my opinion) concerns about an arms embargo to Israel.

While not explicitly committing to this, it reiterates Israel’s right to defend itself following the events of October 7, with special emphasis on the rape of women (an issue that has apparently become controversial or a question mark as to whether it took place in some extreme progressive circles) and reiterates the need for a cease-fire and the return of captives.

GOV. WALZ’S SERVICE IN THE NATIONAL GUARD, OTHER LIES

In the third part, the interviewer addressed Governor Waltz and asked him about his service in the National Guard and confronted him with the fact that he did not carry a weapon in the war (and alluded to his avoidance of going to Iraq).

Using IVF and lying about drinking offenses in his past campaign, Waltz apologized for his past stumbles and said his decades-long record on school guns and most Americans understand the significance of that experience.

HARRIS DEFENDING HER DEFENSE OF BIDEN’S COGNITIVE STATE

Harris was later asked if she would retract her defense of Biden’s cognitive state and said absolutely not and that it was his judgment
was never hurt and that she was proud to serve as vice president and proud to run with Waltz for president.

Regarding Biden’s call to her to offer her to run, she described the situation of the call on Sunday morning and that he decided to pass the baton to her and it was clear that he would support me from the spirit of the conversation, and she complimented his presidency for a few minutes.

Afghan National in U.S. Plotted ISIS Terror Attack on Election Day

The U.S. Department of Justice on Tuesday indicted an Afghan national living in Oklahoma City “for conspiring to conduct an Election Day terrorist attack in the United States on behalf of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization (FTO).” Along with his wife’s juvenile brother, Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi plotted to attack “large gatherings of people” and “die as martyrs.”

The FBI foiled the plot with a months-long sting operation, according to Senator James Lankford (R-Okla.). They arrested Tawhedi and his co-conspirator after they purchased two AK-47 rifles, magazines, and ammunition from a “confidential human source” and “other FBI assets.”

The good news is that U.S. law enforcement foiled a potentially deadly and disruptive terrorist plot. The bad news is that the episode shows “just how vulnerable we are for attack,” said Rep. Josh Brecheen (R-Okla.) on Wednesday’s “Washington Watch.”

Election Vulnerability

A terrorist attack on Election Day would harm America far beyond any lives taken in the attack. It would infect our civic institutions with fear, further eroding social trust and public confidence in our elections.

As necessary as ballot security is for free and fair elections, voter security is even more fundamental. Voters who feel unsafe or intimidated at polling places may refrain from voting or change their votes, undermining the ability of elections to accurately record the will of the people. This is the reason behind laws requiring secret ballots or laws prohibiting certain campaign activities too close to a polling location.

If Islamist terrorists start attacking polling locations on Election Day, how many American voters will become more nervous about waiting in line to vote — as sitting targets? “‘Vulnerable’ is a key word,” agreed Family Research Council Action President Jody Hice. “Underline that, highlight it, and circle it.”

The ugly truth is that the U.S. government possibly could have prevented Tawhedi from forming this would-be terrorist plot in the first place. Tawhedi reportedly “entered the United States in 2021 under a special visa,” observed Hice, “which again underscores the Biden-Harris administration’s repeated failures to manage the entire immigration vetting process.”

Botched Withdrawal

In 2021, the Biden-Harris administration determined that, come hell or high water, they would remove all American troops from Afghanistan by an arbitrary and unfeasible date. This decision, made against the advice of senior military officials, effectively abandoned the country’s fledgling democratic government — not to mention the nation’s women — to the cruel mercy of the Taliban, a band of Islamist extremists who had previously sheltered al-Qaeda training camps.

America’s chaotic withdrawal left pro-American Afghans hanging in the wind. The Taliban would surely hunt down and kill men who served as guides for U.S. troops, for instance, or Christians. So some Afghans legitimately qualified for political asylum in America.

But, to meet the previously determined, arbitrary deadline for the evacuation of U.S. troops, the U.S. State Department had neither time nor manpower to either vet or evacuate Afghans in need of U.S. asylum. Several anecdotes suggest that the State Department provided “little to no help of any consequence” to congressmen and private citizens striving to evacuate Afghans, as Hice, then a congressman, recalled his own experience.

The U.S. State Department did grant special visas to a number of people flown out of Afghanistan. But these flights were loaded hastily and without adequate vetting. In fact, “because of the debacle of the way that this country withdrew and then the lack of vetting that took place,” the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General said the “process [was] ripe for people to fall through the cracks,” explained Brecheen. “So you’ve had heightened numbers of people with this special visa,” but some of them may have come to the U.S. with bad intentions.

Some people who should have been evacuated were left behind or stranded in refugee camps in other countries like the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Meanwhile, some people received visas and boarded flights who had no basis to claim asylum in the U.S. By the end of the evacuation process, the Taliban controlled the airport where refugee flights boarded, which means they controlled who could or couldn’t board the flights. Tawhedi’s is an obvious case in which the system failed; Brecheen’s office is chasing down how he got a visa and what kind, but they have not yet received an answer.

Border Vulnerability

Boarding special evacuation flights from Afghanistan is not the only way that would-be terrorists with harmful intentions can make their way into America. “What happened with Afghanistan has shown the American people — in addition to what’s coming across the southern border — just how vulnerable we are for attack,” said Brecheen.

According to data released late last month, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has on its docket more than 660,000 illegal immigrants with a criminal history. This includes more than 400,000 convicted criminals and more than 200,000 with pending criminal charges who are no longer in ICE custody. These numbers include not only Central Americans fleeing crime and poverty in their home countries, but people from all over the world. Just last week, law enforcement agents apprehended 40 people from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Egypt, Turkey, and India at the southern border. Earlier this year, DHS discovered that over 400 illegal immigrants had been smuggled into the country through an ISIS-affiliated network, and the whereabouts of 50 remain unknown.

Proponents of illegal immigration — words that shouldn’t even belong together — like to claim that immigrants are less likely to commit crimes than native-born Americans. Setting aside the fact that illegally entering the country is itself a crime, this claim misses two key points. First, every crime committed by an illegal immigrant in the U.S. is one the government could have prevented by barring that individual from entering the country — something that should at the very least be done for individuals with a violent criminal history.

Second, it only takes one bad actor, with the right plan, resources, and execution, to inflict devastation. It took years for the FBI to detect Tawhedi’s plot and then more months to catch him. How many other would-be terrorists are on the loose in America? And how many of them are law enforcement agencies able to track and capture?

In some nations around the world, violence and intimidation in elections are common, even expected — especially those with minimal history of fair and free elections. When America extends an unconditional invitation to residents of those countries to enter our country, we run the risk of elections in our country resembling the elections in theirs (it doesn’t take a voter registration card to intimidate poll-goers). This is obviously not in the best interest of America.

This is not to say that all immigrants are bad for America and our tradition of popular election, nor that everyone in foreign nations opposes free and fair elections. Rather, it suggests that America should discriminate between immigrants — not based upon any unreasonable categories, but based upon their goodwill toward our country and their willingness to abide by our laws. If an immigrant is glad to join American society, then America should be glad to have him. But if an immigrant hates America and contemplates violence against our people or our institutions, we shouldn’t let him into our country.

This should be common sense. And it is roughly what our current immigration law tries to achieve. Alas, the Biden-Harris administration has ignored that law and unwisely pursued a policy of allowing the maximum number of immigrants into our country, regardless of their intentions. This policy will not end well, and an ISIS terror plot in Oklahoma City on Election Day — though foiled, fortunately — is only the beginning.

The Biden Iran File — ‘The Iran House: Tales of Revolution, Persecution, War, and Intrigue’ Now Available!

My new book, The Iran House: Tales of Revolution, Persecution, War, and Intrigue, is now available from Amazon. This link below will take you there directly. Plus, anything you buy on Amazon in the 30 minutes after you click on the link will earn me a commission. (That helps pay the rent….) —

If you don’t like clicking on links, just go to Amazon and search for The Iran House and you’ll find it. My publisher, Bombadier Books, has recently published books by Miranda Devine, Dan Bongino, and others.

The Iran House reveals how an investigative reporter came to assist several U.S. intelligence agencies in their efforts to thwart Iranian regime terrorism against the United States.

It is unusual – to say the least – for a reporter to work with intelligence services. Even less so, to break cover and talk about it openly.

In my case, it usually began with a knock on the door, the showing of creds, and the question: are you willing to help your country in the war against international terrorism? Well, duh!

The first of these contacts happened shortly after the 9/11 attacks, when the FBI approached me for information about an Iranian they believed was in contact with al Qaeda operatives living in Iran before the attacks.

That soon morphed into an effort to recruit the former commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Mohsen Rezai. (Rezai’s son defected to the U.S. in 1998 and learned English in my basement in Maryland watching Jackie Chan movies).

Rezai became an Iranian regime vice president in 2021. The FBI recruitment effort, which ultimately failed, has never been made public.

A second series of contacts was initiated by NCIS, following the publication of an article of mine in Newsmax about an Iranian regime naval contingency plan. NCIS agents wanted to meet my Iranian defector source – and ultimately did. But they were rank amateurs and the two chapters I devote to them  are called “The Boobs at NCIS.”

A third series of contacts began in 2017, when FBI agents from the Iran squad at the Washington Field Office showed up on my doorstep in Maryland, seeking my cooperation in terrorism and money-laundering cases. This effort was far more successful for the U.S. government, and led to several thwarted terrorist attacks.

The FBI used me to run a network of Iranian sub-agents, and eventually brought me to a secure location in the United States for a dedicated three-day training session to enhance my survival skills.

This collaboration ultimately led to the killing of Quds Force commander Qassem Suleymani on January 3, 2020, in which I played a minor supporting role.

The book gives a blow-by-blow account of the information I was receiving over the 2019-2020 New Year’s holiday from a subagent who had direct access to Iranian regime communications about the assault on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad then underway.

That information was relayed “all the way to the top,” according to my FBI handler, and ultimately helped President Trump and the White House team make the decision to take out Iran’s top terrorist.

Later, I learned from a different Iranian source that the Baghdad embassy attack was not just an Iranian operation. It had been motivated – indeed, solicited – in large part by a senior advisor to former vice-president Joe Biden, who was seeking ways of destroying Trump’s chances of re-election in 2020.

This is one of the big scandals of the 2024 election campaign. The Biden advisor eventually asked the Iranians to “do the same thing in Baghdad that you did with our embassy in Tehran” in 1979.

Democrats have been obsessed with the 1979 Tehran hostage crisis ever since that time, and to this day many believe that Ronald Reagan and his campaign made a deal with advisors to Ayatollah Khomeini to hold onto the hostages until after the 1980 election. This is the origin of the well-worn phrase, “October surprise.”

The Biden campaign was hoping the Iranians could help them pull off an “October surprise” against Donald Trump, except that they would start their assault on his credibility as commander-in-chief in January 2020, giving Democrat operatives and their allies in the media ten full months to hound Trump, just as Ted Koppel hounded Jimmy Carter throughout the 444 days of the Tehran hostage crisis in 1979 .

The book describes in detail how my source gained access to the classified file containing the Biden-Iran communications in the Supreme Leader’s Office in Tehran, and how he communicated elements from that file to me. It also contains a damning chronology of the Biden-Iran back channel provided directly to me by the Iranian intelligence official who photographed the documents in Tehran.

Make sure you order an extra copy of The Iran House for your Member of Congress. I can tell you this: the FBI and the NSA well aware of the Biden advisor’s communications with Tehran, and have kept them quiet. Congress should subpoena these records and make them public.

When I was a younger man we had a word for this, and it starts with T….

WATCH THE MIRACLE OF THE IDF: The Progressive destruction of Hezbollah’s plan to destroy Israel!

“THE MIRACLE OF LEBANON”

Rarely in warfare has a military so quickly attacked, disrupted and destroyed the leadership and fighting capability of the opposing army as did the Israel Defense Forces against Hezbollah in the last 30 days!

After 11 months of patiently “containing” Hezbollah in Lebanon, amidst thousands of rockets and missiles exploding over or in northern Israel, Israel, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, made the decision to go “Old Testament” on Hezbollah and attack with the full force of public support, military genius and the direction of HaShem!

This video is a graphic illustration of the Miracle of Lebanon, in that Israel is controlling Southern Lebanon to the degree that journalists are allowed in to see how Hezbollah uses private homes on the Israel border to serve as military posts, designed to attack the north of Israel, as HAMAS attacked the south of Israel on October 7, 2023.

My team at The United West has been on the Lebanon border many times, looking right across into those homes knowing that they were military outposts.

Now we see the Truth.

WATCH: THE MIRACLE OF THE IDF! Progressive destruction of Hezbollah’s plan to destroy Israel!

Hezbollah turned villages in southern Lebanon into a terror fortress and planned an October 7th style massacre in northern Israel. Hezbollah, Iran’s terror army, was supposed to be disarmed after the 2006 war, but the U.N. failed to implement Security Council Resolution 1701.

Saudi Journalist: Hamas And Hizbullah Spread A Culture Of Suicide, They Are Not Resistance Organizations

In an October 6, 2024 article in the London-based Saudi daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, Saudi journalist and researcher Fahad Suleiman Shoqiran criticized the Hamas and Hizbullah terrorist organizations for appropriating the concept of “resistance.” He wrote that resistance means self-defense or waging war against an attacker, but the so-called resistance movements have charged it with a fundamentalist ideology that promotes a culture of suicide – a  culture that is not just manifest in sending suicide bombers to blow themselves up in cafes in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv, but in entrapping and endangering entire cities and societies. This culture, he added, maintained in the name of resistance or of Palestine, constitutes a crime against humanity, for which these organizations should stand trial.

The following are translated excerpts from Shoqiran’s article:[1]

“It is only natural that the situation in the region is tense, especially after these large [Israeli] attacks, which are broadcast live, and following the assassination of the leader of the Hizbullah militia, along with others who were killed or will be killed in the future. Israel is carrying out powerful operations. Countries are not charitable associations; they have their own interests, objectives and operations, and on this basis a well-founded and well-considered strategy must be formulated…

“The effort of the resistance axis and its militias to put Israel to the test and plumb [the depths] of its fury every couple of years is regrettable. After the 2006 war, which caused the deaths of more than two thousand Lebanese, as well as severe economic damage in the amount of two billion dollars, Nasrallah made his famous statement: ‘If I had known, I wouldn’t have kidnapped the two Israeli soldiers.’ In 2009 Hamas tested the Israelis again and caused huge massacres, and the same thing happened in 2012 and in 2014. Now [Hamas] is trying out a war with the Israelis while Lebanon is being pulverized…

“The problem today lies in the fact that the meaning of ‘resistance’ has expanded since the establishment of Hizbullah, the Palestinian brigades and the Hamas movement, [and this expansion] did not end [even] with the Houthis. The concept of resistance has been loaded and charged with fundamentalist ideology and does not mean self-defense or war waged against an attacker  [anymore]. It has its own religious, ideological and political partisan context.

“The concept of resistance has become associated with escalating suicide attacks and with pressuring the enemy not through military action but rather through a culture of suicide. I am not referring here only to the jihad fighter from [Hamas’ military wing], the ‘Izz Ad-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, who blows himself up in a café in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv. Hamas has trapped the entire Palestinian people and Gaza inside the explosive belt of its recklessness, leaving them at the mercy of [its] irresponsible decision to test the response of the Israelis, who are known for their violence and destructiveness. As we know, the Israeli force is merciless, and the Arabs have become accustomed to it over their history, which is rife with defeats and nakbas. The Lebanese, Syrian, Palestinian and Yemeni people have lost enormous sums, economies have crashed and peoples have lost their stability and are at a loss [what to do] under the rule of foolish and reckless regimes.

“For decades, the Palestinian cause has served the [Arab] statesmen as a moral snare, [used to] justify their crimes to the peoples. Countries and capital cities have been pulverized, entire states have been occupied and millions have been expelled [from their homes] in the name of resistance and in the name of Palestine. If the nations are determined to evolve, they must establish courts where the leaders of the resistance will be brought to justice. When a culture of suicide develops—ranging from the entrapment of an individual to the entrapment of entire capitals and societies—it constitutes a crime against humanity. That is why there is widespread sympathy for [these] heavy disasters, whose victims have been taken hostage by dark forces subordinate to states that have abandoned true Islam.

“Ultimately, history always draws its conclusions, and we must take note of the fact that this period is the most difficult of all and that failing to return to the roots, to the law and to [state] institutions will jeopardize global security, for times have changed… Some of the norms and moral [principles] that are part of the discourse about Palestine were formulated by the Muslim Brotherhood [MB], and a group of intellectuals and academics now parrot them. Today the [resistance] axis is trying to revive the MB discourse with all its might and to establish the MB lexicon on Palestine as the permanent [lexicon used] in political commentary and in media coverage of the war Israel is waging. This is an act of injustice and of ignoring the development that has occurred among some of the Arab peoples, especially those that have opted for peace and sighed agreements of tolerance and reconciliation among the [Abrahamic] religions. This attack and escapade of Hamas’ was just meant to delay any peace agreement that was supposed to be [signed]…”

VIDEO: The ‘Pager’ Operation — a lot more than we thought!

New details revealed for deadly pager attack operation on Hezbollah from Straight Arrow News

Israeli intelligence agency Mossad used an elaborate covert operation involving explosive-laden pagers to carry out a massive strike on Hezbollah, killing dozens and injuring thousands of the group’s operatives, according to The Washington Post. The operation, which took place in September, targeted the militant group’s communication network across Lebanon and Syria, dealing a significant blow to its leadership and operations.

The Nziv Report states:

Israel implanted listening devices in pagers and knew precisely about the movements and messages of thousands of Hezbollah operatives.

The Mossad began introducing radios with explosives into Lebanon from 2015. The two-way radios contained large battery packs, hidden explosives and a transmission system that gave Israel full access to Hezbollah’s communications.

The Israelis listened to Hezbollah for nine years while maintaining the possibility of converting radios into bombs in the future. It was not revealed how many radios were sold to Hezbollah or how Hezbollah was convinced to purchase them.

The idea for Operation Pager arose in 2022, after the success of a two-way radio project, according to Israeli, Middle Eastern and American officials who spoke to The Washington Post.

Wiretaps revealed that Hezbollah was looking for pagers to transmit orders to mid- and low-level operatives instead of traceable cell phones. In Hezbollah’s initial sales proposal two years ago, a new line of “Apollo” devices manufactured by a Taiwanese company was proposed.

The sales proposal came from a woman, a former sales representative in the Middle East of the Taiwanese company, who founded her own company and received a license to sell a variety of “Apollo” branded summons. Sometime in 2023, she offered Hezbollah a deal on one of the products her company sells: the durable and reliable AR924.

Compared to the original model from Apollo, the AR924 pager presented to Hezbollah was a bit bulky with an oversized battery that could run for months without charging. Hezbollah believed that there was no risk that the Israeli intelligence services would be able to track the pagers. Hezbollah commanders were so impressed with these devices that they purchased 5,000 of them and began distributing them to mid-level fighters and support personnel in February 2024.

The fake pager AR924 was assembled in Israel. The bomb component was carefully hidden so that it would be almost impossible to identify it even if the device was disassembled.

Israeli officials believe Hezbollah dismantled some of the pagers and may have x-rayed them to allay suspicions.

The Mossad was able to remotely access the devices and detonate them upon receiving the signal. But to ensure that only Hezbollah were killed and injured, the explosion could only be triggered by pressing two buttons to get a “coded message” flashed on the screen and that was what triggered the explosions on September 17th.

Thanks to the walkie-talkies and the pager, the Mossad knew the exact movements of Hezbollah operatives and was able to deliver bombs to specific locations.

Israel strikes Hizballah jihadis operating within command center located inside a mosque

A reminder of the central aspect of this conflict that everyone ignores: it is a religious war, an Islamic jihad. The State Department and the entire Western intelligentsia has never shown any sign of understanding the implications of that.

Israel assassinates two Hamas terrorists in Lebanon as Hezbollah rockets damage homes in North

by Maya Gur Arieh and Darcie Grunblatt, Jerusalem Post, October 5, 2024:

Israeli Air Force fighter jets on Saturday morning killed Muhammad Hussein Ali al-Mahmoud, who served as the operational arm of the Hamas terrorist organization in Lebanon, the IDF announced later in the day.

He was mainly responsible for directing terrorist activities in the West Bank. However, Muhammad has also been involved in Hamas’s efforts to establish a foothold in Lebanon, which included supplying weapons for rocket fire toward Israel. He has been involved in trying to manufacture advanced weaponry as well.

In another joint operation by the IDF and Shin Bet earlier Saturday morning, in the Tripoli area of Lebanon, the terrorist Said Alaa Naif Ali, from Hamas’s military wing in Lebanon, was killed. He led attacks against Israelis and worked to recruit operatives for Hamas in Lebanon….

The military said on Saturday morning that the Israel Air Force (IAF) struck Hezbollah terrorists operating within a command center that was located inside a mosque adjacent to the Salah Ghandour Hospital in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah terrorists used the command center to plan and execute terrorist attacks against soldiers and Israeli citizens, the IDF added….

Former Dem Rep Endorses Trump, Says Biden-Harris Admin Has Made ‘World A Dramatically Less Safe Place’

Former Democratic Rep. Peter Deutsch of Florida publicly endorsed former President Donald Trump on Monday, citing dissatisfaction with President Joe Biden’s approach to global conflicts.

Deutsch, who served Florida’s 20th Congressional District for six terms from 1993-2005,  endorsed Trump during a campaign call commemorating the anniversary of the Hamas attacks on Israel, according to The Hill. Deutsch criticized the Biden administration for what he perceives as a lack of leadership in addressing international crises, particularly those affecting global peace.

“I feel very comfortable today publicly announcing that I’m endorsing Donald Trump to be reelected as president,” Deutsch said, The Hill reported. “Driving force for me to make this decision is what I believe is the most important factor in being president, which is really world peace.”

“And I think that Kamala Harris and the Harris-Biden administration in terms of what they have done and are doing … make the world a dramatically less safe place,” Deutsch added.

The Trump campaign seized the moment to criticize Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for their perceived weak stance toward Iran, a known backer of Hamas, and for allegedly failing to sufficiently support Israel in its ongoing conflict with the Palestinian militant group, the outlet reported.

Republican Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst also criticized Biden and Harris for their Middle East policy on the anniversary of Hamas’s Oct. 7 invasion of Israel, calling it “catastrophic.” She attributed the ongoing regional chaos to their actions, such as criticizing Israel, delisting the Houthis as terrorists and appeasing Iran.

U.S. and British forces conducted airstrikes on over a dozen Houthi targets in Yemen on Friday, in response to the group’s threats of increased military operations and a recent U.S. drone downing, officials told The Associated Press. The Houthis, known for their longstanding disruption in the Middle East, have recently intensified their efforts, including attacks on Israel and threatening Red Sea shipping lanes.

OCTOBER 7TH, 2024: Reflecting on Six Traumatic Events That Happened During My Lifetime

I will remember exactly where I was when six traumatic events  happened during my lifetime:

  1. The assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
  2. The attack on the Olympic Village by Black September in 1972.
  3. The attack on America by al Qaeda on September 11th, 2001
  4. The attack on Israel by Hamas terrorists on October 6, 2023, which signaled the beginning of a “new global intifada” and may end in a WW III.
  5. The attempted assassination in Pennsylvania of President Donald J. Trump.
  6. The attempted assassination, in my home state of Florida, of President Donald J. Trump.

Each event was traumatic and unforgettable.

I have been to Israel. I met with the people of Israel. I knew that they live under a constant threat of attack from their Islamist neighbors and the terrorist groups Hamas, Hezbollah and the Islamic State of Iran.

WATCH: October 7th: What’s Next?

My greatest and most profound mistake is not seeing the existential danger of the “Red-Green Alliance” to the national security of the United States of America and the world.

I was stationed in Germany, with my wife and soon to be born son, from 1971 till 1974. While there I, my family and my unit were exposed to two terrorist organizations. I, at that time, did not connect the dots between these two organizations and their clear and present danger to me, my family, our nation and the world.

The Baader–Meinhof Gang

The first terrorist organization was the Baader–Meinhof Group or Baader–Meinhof Gang also know as the Red Army Faction (RAF). This group was made up of hardcore Communists. They attacked U.S. assets, conducted assassinations, kidnappings, bombed a club frequented by American soldiers and robbed banks to fund their Marxist movement.

Because of the Baader–Meinhof Gang’s stated tactic to abduct the children of American military members stationed in Germany the housing complex, that I, my wife and our newly born son Rich, Jr., lived in, had barbed wire surrounding it and U.S. Army armed guards patrolling the grounds 24-7.

The Red Army Faction was a very real and direct threat to me and my wife and our son. Today, the Communist ideology has become an existential threat to the American way of life.

Black September 1972

The second group was known as “Black September.” Black September (Arabic: أيلول الأسود; Aylūl Al-Aswad), was named after the conflict between the Hashemite Kingdom of King of Jordan and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).

On September 4th, 1972 Black September attacked the Olympic Village in Munich, Germany. This Islamic terrorist attack was to become known as the “Munich massacre.” The attack was carried out by eight members of the Palestinian militant organization Black September, who infiltrated the Olympic Village, killed two members of the Israeli Olympic team, and took nine others hostage. Later, in a failed rescue attempt by the German police, nine Israeli athletes and one German police officer were killed. Total killed: 11 Israelis and 1 German.

After the Munich massacre my unit, the 1st Infantry Division (FWD), was called out to provide additional security at the Olympic Village.

What I did not know at that time was that both the Baader–Meinhof Gang (Red Army Faction) and Black September were both trained by the Palestine Liberation Organization in camps in Jordan.

This was the Red-Green Alliance that has now infiltrated the United States and is causing irreputable harm to our nation and its people. This alliance has grown in strength and power. There are even members of Congress who are followers of Marx and Mohammed.

The Red-Green Alliance is today a much greater threat to me, my family and a “clear and present danger” to our country.

What am I doing differently?

I now spend time speaking, writing and teaching others about the Red-Green Alliance, which has added a third new ultra-radical faction the LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexuals + Allies) movement.

We now have an even more dangerous and deadly “Red-Green-Rainbow Alliance” bent on the destruction of our families, lives, lifestyles and livelihoods.

Each is working, in concert, to destroy our cultural norms, fundamentally transform our society, destroy the traditional family and marriage between one man and one woman, undermine our Judeo-Christian religious foundation and infiltrate all of our government agencies including the Department of Defense.

Each wants more and more power, absolute power over me, my family, my son and our grandchildren.

Head of Republican Jewish Coalition on the DNC: ‘Democrats acted as if Israel didn’t exist’

Even though not a single speaker passed the “Praise Israel Watch” challenge, the group still plans to donate 1,189 trees in Israel in memory of the 1,189 victims killed on Oct. 7.

The Republican Jewish Coalition said speakers at the Democratic National Convention, held this past week in Chicago, had failed to support and celebrate Israel.

CEO Matt Brooks described the RJC’s “Praise Israel Watch,” which had urged anyone addressing audiences to advocate for Israel in exchange for the planting of 1,800 trees in their name, in a statement on Friday, the day after the convention’s conclusion.

According to the group, no one succeeded.

“Unfortunately, the Democrats acted as if Israel didn’t exist, which is exactly what their pro-Palestinian base wanted,” Brooks said. “Of the 155 Democratic Convention speakers, not a single one, including Kamala Harris, praised Israel from the main stage as the Jewish state fights for its very survival.”

He called the brief mention of Israel and her pledge to uphold its security following the Hamas terrorist attacks on Oct. 7, which has led to 11 months of war in the Gaza Strip and with Iran’s other terror proxies, in her speech on Thursday night “the bare minimum.”

He noted that “she never praised Israel. Instead, she implicitly criticized Israel for the suffering Hamas has caused in Gaza.” He characterized calls by the current vice president and 2024 Democratic presidential candidate for a ceasefire in Gaza as meaning that Hamas would survive, saying “that’s unacceptable.”

Even though no DNC speaker passed the group’s challenge, Brooks announced that the RJC “will still donate to plant 1,189 trees in Israel in memory of the 1,189 victims killed on Oct. 7.”

Israel United on Iran Attack

Israelis from across the political spectrum were united at the start of the High Holy Days in their determination to strike Iran.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, who has clashed increasingly with Prime Minister Netanyahu, tweeted out the common sentiment shortly after the latest Iranian missile barrage against Israel. “Iran has not learned a simple lesson – those who attack the State of Israel, pay a heavy price.”

Opposition leader Yair Lapid agreed that “the response must be harsh, and send a clear message to the entire axis: Iran, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza.”

Even the leaders of the G7, who have rarely missed an opportunity to criticize the Jewish state, “condemn[ed] in the strongest terms Iran’s direct military attack on Israel, which constitutes a serious threat to regional stability.”

That didn’t stop them from condemning Israel in all seven remaining paragraphs of their statement and calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, wars that were not started by Israel but that Israel has vowed to finish.

(Somehow I think that if Mexico slaughtered residents in border communities in Texas and Arizona and Canada lobbed missiles into New York, Michigan, and North Dakota, we would be proclaiming our right to respond mercilessly. But maybe I’m wrong. What would a President Harris do?)

Fissures among Lebanon’s communities have been widening as Hezbollah pulls the entire country into war. Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai, who I had the pleasure of meeting before his elevation to Cardinal, blasted Hezbollah in a recent sermon.

“When each group starts feeling that Lebanon belongs to someone else, Lebanon no longer belongs to anyone. It becomes a piece of land divided among invaders who plunder a country they do not own,” he said in a clear reference to Hezbollah and its puppet master, the Islamic regime in Iran.

The Washington Post, in a despicable move masquerading as journalism, claimed that videos of the latest Iranian missile attacks showed that twenty Iranian missiles broke through Israeli defenses to strike the Nevatim air base in the Negev desert, while another three hit Tel Nof, home to the IDF’s fleet of F-35 fighters.

The Israeli military said the missile strikes inflicted minimal damage, and that its bases were fully operational. Why the Washington Post would carry out bomb damage assessment for the enemy is incomprehensible.

How will Israel respond to Iran’s missile attack? That is the question on everyone’s mind. If I were advising Israeli leaders – or America’s, for that matter – I would counsel against striking Iran’s oil fields or domestic infrastructure, because of the impact on ordinary Iranians who don’t necessarily embrace the insanity of the regime leaders.

Oil export platforms, however, are something else, since the regime does not share oil export revenue with the people. Instead, it distributes it like the spoils of war to regime insiders and to IRGC cliques, as well as to its foreign terrorist proxies. IRGC missile bases and missile production plants are also fair game, as are Iranian air defense systems.

Just as Israel has tried in both Gaza and Lebanon to take out missile-launching infrastructure, so I would expect them to do that in Iran.

But we shouldn’t expect the Israelis to limit themselves to a single strike, or a single target set. Former prime minister Naftali Bennett told CNN shortly after the attack that Israel now had a “once in a 50-year opportunity.”

“We need to take out Iran’s nuclear program, we need to attack Iran’s energy facilities, and we need to attack the regime itself, right away,” he said. “It’s time to hit, destroy the nuclear program, and finally allow the Iranian people to rise up – the amazing Iranian people, who have one of the worst regimes on earth.”

I have argued incessantly for many years that aiding the Iranian people to overthrow the regime is in the strategic interest of the United States — and Israel. Maybe today we are finally getting close to taking action in that direction.

I discuss this and the Arab reaction to the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, as well as the internal dynamics of the Iranian regime, on this week’s Prophecy Today Weekend. As always, you can listen live at 1 PM on Saturday on 104.9 FM or 550 AM in the Jacksonville, Florida, area, or by using the Jacksonville Way Radio app.

France’s Macron says sales of arms used in Gaza should be halted

“I believe that today, the priority is to return to a political solution and to stop delivering weapons to carry out the fighting in Gaza,” Macron said.

Shipments of arms used in the conflict in Gaza should be stopped as part of a broader effort to find a political solution, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Saturday.

France is not a major weapons provider for Israel, shipping military equipment worth 30 million euros ($33 million) last year, according to the defense ministry’s annual arms exports report.

“I think the priority today is to get back to a political solution (and) that arms used to fight in Gaza are halted. France doesn’t ship any,” Macron told France Inter radio.

“Our priority now is to avoid escalation. The Lebanese people must not, in turn, be sacrificed; Lebanon cannot become another Gaza,” he added.

Macron’s comments come as his Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot is on a four-day trip to the Middle East, wrapping up on Monday in Israel as Paris looks to play a role in reviving diplomatic efforts.

Israel Sustains Multi-Front War while Mulling Iran Counterstrike

As the Israeli war cabinet is mulling their options to respond to Iran’s barrage of nearly 200 ballistic missiles that targeted the small country on Tuesday, there are plenty of other matters that demand their urgent attention. Israel is “involved in the near combat in Lebanon, they’re still cleaning up Gaza, and now they have a law enforcement action in [Judea and Samaria], and they still have Houthis firing rockets at them from Yemen,” listed Rep. Keith Self (R-Texas) on “Washington Watch” Wednesday. Managing so many fronts at once requires Napoleonic organization and strategy.

Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are primarily focused on Operation Northern Arrows, an incursion into southern Lebanon designed to neutralize the threat from the Iranian-backed terrorist outfit Hezbollah, so that residents of northern Israel can return to their homes for the first time in nearly a year. Judging by the evacuation notices they have issued to Lebanese civilians, Israeli forces are advancing steadily, and their airstrikes based on excellent intelligence have nearly obliterated Hezbollah’s command structure.

Syria

Related to their fight with Hezbollah in Lebanon, Israel also continues to carry out airstrikes in Syria. The IDF aims to prevent all weapons shipments from Iran to Hezbollah, which must pass through Syria. An Israeli airstrike in Damascus on Monday injured nine and killed three, including a “consultant” for the Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the arm of the Iranian government that coordinates international terrorist activities. Another Israeli airstrike in Damascus on Wednesday struck a hideout frequented by Hezbollah and IRGC officials, killing two. In recent weeks, Israeli airstrikes have killed and wounded dozens of people (probably almost exclusively terrorists) across Syria.

However, Israel’s latest strike in Syria may be the boldest strike yet — and the most under-reported. Overnight into Thursday, Israel allegedly struck a weapons depot in Jableh, inside Russia’s Khmeimim Airbase. Reportedly, Syrian and Russian anti-air defenses unsuccessfully engaged the aerial strike.

Judea and Samaria

Further south, Israel launched raids last month to dismantle terror cells in Judea and Samaria (sometimes called the West Bank). Two terrorists from Hebron, a city in southern Judea, illegally entered Israel and opened fire on a commuter train in Tel Aviv on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Hamas claimed credit for the attack, which killed seven and injured 16. Among the dead were multiple children and a mother who shielded her nine-month-old infant with her body.

Gaza

Meanwhile, things are not all quiet on the Western Front (the Gaza Strip). The IDF has wound down their most aggressive operations after dismantling all Hamas units offering resistance on the surface. But they continue to comb through Hamas’s elaborate tunnel network, searching for the remaining hostages and remaining terrorists, including top Hamas commander Yahya Sinwar.

The IDF recently announced the deaths of three Hamas officials who were “hiding in a fortified and equipped underground compound in northern Gaza.” These include Rawhi Mushtaha, head of Hamas government in Gaza, Sameh al-Siraj, Hamas’s security and labor secretary, and Sami Oudeh, commander of Hamas’s general security mechanism. Announcing terrorist deaths so long after the fact is not common practice for the IDF. Presumably, announcing these deaths now means either that Israel recently discovered their bodies or recently obtained intelligence allowing them to identify the bodies.

Yemen

Fortunately for Israel, the long-range Yemen front is the least active right now. If the Houthis had coordinated their own powerful cruise missiles with Iran’s ballistic missile barrage, that could have put extra stress on Israel’s missile defense system. However, after launching several missile strikes at Israel, the Houthis have confined themselves to the occasional pot shot, which provokes a proportionate counterstrike from Israel.

The Houthis’ lack of interest in Israel may be due to their more intriguing pastime: piracy. Due to their strategic location by the Red Sea shipping route, the Houthis are strategically placed to disrupt maritime trade, and their Iranian overlords seek to exploit this strategic advantage against Western nations aligned with Israel (not to mention Israel, which would otherwise see much larger shipping costs for goods from just about anywhere).

Just on Tuesday, the Houthis damaged two civilian ships in the Red Sea. They exploded a remote-controlled boat against the side of an oil tanker sailing under the flag of Panama and struck a Liberian-flagged cargo ship with a missile.

In secret talks brokered by Iran, Russia is reportedly considering whether to sell the Houthis their advanced, anti-ship P-800 missiles. The P-800 missiles are “a far more capable system than the anti-ship ballistic and cruise missiles the Houthis have used so far,” according to a ballistic missile expert, and having these weapons would allow them not only to hit more civilian vessels, but even target American and British warships that patrol those waters to keep them safe for cargo ships.

Israel’s front with the Houthis is relatively quiet, but the Houthis’ superior capabilities, relative to other terror groups, makes it a perpetually dangerous one nevertheless.

Iran

All these roads lead back to Iran, the state sponsor for the various terror groups attacking Israel. Iran injected itself forcefully into its proxy war on Tuesday, when it launched nearly 200 ballistic missiles at Israel from within its own territory. Netanyahu has vowed to respond, and the likeliest targets appear to be Iran’s oil production, missile launch sites, or nuclear capabilities, Self suggested.

“I do not believe he will start with the nuclear sites,” proposed Self. That might depend on how close Iran was to obtaining a nuclear weapon, which “I suspect that Israel knows far better than we do.”

However, due to the number of enemies Israel must confront, and the possibility that Iran could launch another missile barrage at Israel, Self said, “I think [Netanyahu] will try to degrade their launch sites as much as he can — realizing they have mobile launchers — and he may take out some of their oil production.”

In any event, Self predicted that Israel’s counterstrike would likely be “serious,” not “proportional,” in the Biden administration’s impotent sense of the word.

The Diplomatic Front

Sadly, not all the fronts Israel is fighting on are against enemy combatants carrying arms. They must also wage a diplomatic and propaganda war just to extract the minimum amount of cooperation from the U.S. Fighting a multi-front war is easier when you don’t also have to fight a diplomatic war with your primary ally.

The Biden administration has “been slow-rolling their support for Israel ever since the October 7th attack,” Self complained. It’s “very clear that they are not supporting Israel as the U.S. has traditionally done.” Family Research Council President Tony Perkins agreed, noting that “most of [Biden’s] limiting language is focused on Israel.”

On the other hand, the Biden administration has loosened sanctions on Iran, allowing the hostile regime to more easily finance its war of terror against Israel. “Iran was broke when Trump left office. They now have almost $100 billion in reserves,” said Self.

On Monday, the U.S. announced an additional $336 million in humanitarian assistance for residents of the Gaza Strip, Judea, and Samaria. That brings the total aid the U.S. has supplied to Palestinian-controlled regions since October 7 to more than $1 billion, and most of that ended up in the hands of terrorists.

“We need to break loose the supply” of weapons to Israel, argued Self, “because if Iran and Israel do go to major fisticuffs — a major war — they’re going to need our support. And they’re going to need it now.”

“A great suite of air-defense systems: Iron Dome, David’s Sling and Arrow, and they’re doing a magnificent job. But if you go to a major regional war, it’s going to require more,” Self continued. “Those are Israeli products,” while the U.S. supplies Israel with “more mundane military supplies,” ranging from “production of the actual rounds” of ammunition to bunker-busting bombs.

The IDF “put like 80 of those [bombs] on top of [Hezbollah leader Hassan] Nasrallah, and they dug that hole deep to go get him. So, if they’re using them 80 at a time to get one of the leaders, they’re going to use them up faster and we’re going to have to resupply them,” he explained.

“Frankly,” Self added, “I believe the [Iranian] Ayatollah [Ali Khamenei] is probably in a bunker somewhere waiting his turn.” Indeed, after the strike on Nasrallah, Iranian officials have reported that Khamenei “no longer trusts anyone” and is gripped by paranoia.

Israel has discovered a successful way to fighting a multi-front war against terrorists: hit them where they sleep.

Cognitive Warfare and the Battle for Your Brain

Globalism is a replacement ideology that seeks to reorder the world into one singular, planetary Unistate, ruled by the globalist elite. The globalist war on nation-states cannot succeed without collapsing the United States of America. The long-term strategic attack plan moves America incrementally from constitutional republic to socialism to globalism to feudalism. The tactical attack plan uses asymmetric psychological and informational warfare to destabilize Americans and drive society out of objective reality into the madness of subjective reality. America’s children are the primary target of the globalist predators.

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is an international military alliance of 31 sovereign nations from Europe and North America. The treaty is a pact between member states that considers a military attack against one member a military attack against all members, and obligates all members to assist the attacked member. A shocking October 8, 2021, article by journalist Ben Norton, “Behind NATO’s ‘cognitive warfare’: ‘Battle for your brain’ waged by Western militaries,”[i] provides a chilling analysis of cognitive warfare. Excerpts from the article follow:

Western governments in the NATO military alliance are developing tactics of “cognitive warfare,” using the supposed threats of China and Russia to justify waging a “battle for your brain” in the “human domain,” to “make everyone a weapon.”

NATO is developing new forms of warfare to wage a “battle for the brain,” as the military alliance put it.

The US-led NATO military cartel has tested novel modes of hybrid warfare against its self-declared adversaries, including economic warfare, cyber warfare, information warfare, and psychological warfare.

Now, NATO is spinning out an entirely new kind of combat it has branded cognitive warfare. Described as the “weaponization of brain sciences,” the new method involves “hacking the individual” by exploiting “the vulnerabilities of the human brain” in order to implement more sophisticated “social engineering.”

Until recently, NATO had divided war into five different operational domains: air, land, sea, space, and cyber. But with its development of cognitive warfare strategies, the military alliance is discussing a new, sixth level: the “human domain.”

2020 NATO-sponsored study of this new form of warfare clearly explained, “While actions taken in the five domains are executed in order to have an effect on the human domain, cognitive warfare’s objective is to make everyone a weapon.”

“The brain will be the battlefield of the 21st century,” the report stressed. “Humans are the contested domain,” and “future conflicts will likely occur amongst the people digitally first and physically thereafter in proximity to hubs of political and economic power.” …

In a chilling disclosure, the report said explicitly that “the objective of Cognitive Warfare is to harm societies and not only the military.”

With entire civilian populations in NATO’s crosshairs, the report emphasized that Western militaries must work more closely with academia to weaponize social sciences and human sciences and help the alliance develop its cognitive warfare capacities.

The study described this phenomenon as “the militarization of brain science.” But it appears clear that NATO’s development of cognitive warfare will lead to a militarization of all aspects of human society and psychology, from the most intimate of social relationships to the mind itself….

Norton reports that the researcher who wrote the definitive 2020 NATO-sponsored study on cognitive warfare, François du Cluzel, is a former French military officer who helped create the NATO Innovation Hub (iHub) in 2013. Du Cluzel continues to manage iHub from its base in Norfolk, Virginia. Norton continues:

Although the iHub insists on its website, for legal reasons, that the “opinions expressed on this platform don’t constitute NATO or any other organization points of view,” the organization is sponsored by the Allied Command Transformation (ACT), described as “one of two Strategic Commands at the head of NATO’s military command structure.”

The Innovation Hub, therefore, acts as a kind of in-house NATO research center or think tank. Its research is not necessarily official NATO policy, but it is directly supported and overseen by NATO.

François du Cluzel participated in an October 5, 2021, panel discussion on cognitive warfare.

Du Cluzel summarized his research in the panel this October. He initiated his remarks noting that cognitive warfare “right now is one of the hottest topics for NATO,” and “has become a recurring term in military terminology in recent years.” …

“Cognitive warfare is a new concept that starts in the information sphere, that is a kind of hybrid warfare,” du Cluzel said.

“It starts with hyper-connectivity. Everyone has a cell phone,” he continued. “It starts with information because information is, if I may say, the fuel of cognitive warfare. But it goes way beyond solely information, which is a standalone operation—information warfare is a standalone operation.”

Cognitive warfare overlaps with Big Tech corporations and mass surveillance, because “it’s all about leveraging the big data,” du Cluzel explained. “We produce data everywhere we go. Every minute, every second we go, we go online. And this is extremely easy to leverage those data in order to better know you and use that knowledge to change the way you think.” …

Du Cluzel defined cognitive warfare as the “art of using technologies to alter the cognition of human targets.”

Those technologies, he noted, incorporate the fields of NBIC—nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology, and cognitive science. All together, “it makes a kind of very dangerous cocktail that can further manipulate the brain,” he said.

Du Cluzel went on to explain that the exotic new method of attack “goes well beyond” information warfare or psychological operations (psyops).

“Cognitive warfare is not only a fight against what we think, but it’s rather a fight against the way we think, if we can change the way people think,” he said. “It’s much more powerful and it goes way beyond the information [warfare] and psyops.”

Du Cluzel continued: “It’s crucial to understand that it’s a game on our cognition, on the way our brain processes information and turns it into knowledge, rather than solely a game on information or on psychological aspects of our brains. It’s not only an action against what we think, but also an action against the way we think, the way we process information and turn it into knowledge.

“In other words, cognitive warfare is not just another word, another name for information warfare. It is a war on our individual processor, our brain.”

The NATO researcher stressed that “this is extremely important for us in the military,” because “it has the potential, by developing new weapons and ways of harming the brain, it has the potential to engage neuroscience and technology in many, many different approaches to influence human ecology…because you all know that it’s very easy to turn a civilian technology into a military one.”

As for who the targets of cognitive warfare could be, du Cluzel revealed that anyone and everyone is on the table….

And the private sector has a financial interest in advancing cognitive warfare research, he noted: “The massive worldwide investments made in neurosciences suggests that the cognitive domain will probably [be] one of the battlefields of the future.”

This “creates a new space of competition beyond what is called the five domains of operations—or land, sea, air, cyber, and space domains. Warfare in the cognitive arena mobilizes a wider range of battle spaces than solely the physical and information dimensions can do.”

In short, humans themselves are the new contested domain in this novel mode of hybrid warfare, alongside land, sea, air, cyber, and outer space.

NATO’s cognitive warfare study warns of “embedded fifth column”

And anyone could be a target of these cognitive warfare operations: “Any user of modern information technologies is a potential target. It targets the whole of a nation’s human capital,” the report ominously added.

“As well as the potential execution of a cognitive war to complement a military conflict, it can also be conducted alone, without any link to an engagement of the armed forces,” the study went on. “Moreover, cognitive warfare is potentially endless since there can be no peace treaty or surrender for this type of conflict.” …

The NATO-sponsored study noted that “some NATO Nations have already acknowledged that neuroscientific techniques and technologies have high potential for operational use in a variety of security, defense and intelligence enterprises.”

It spoke of breakthroughs in “neuroscientific methods and technologies” (neuroS/T), and said “uses of research findings and products to directly facilitate the performance of combatants, the integration of human machine interfaces to optimise combat capabilities of semi-autonomous vehicles (e.g., drones), and development of biological and chemical weapons (i.e., neuroweapons).”

The Pentagon is among the primary institutions advancing this novel research, as the report highlighted: “Although a number of nations have pursued, and are currently pursuing neuroscientific research and development for military purposes, perhaps the most proactive efforts in this regard have been conducted by the United States Department of Defense; with most notable and rapidly maturing research and development conducted by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA).” …

This weaponization of neuroS/T can and will be fatal, the NATO-sponsored study was clear to point out. The research can “be utilised to mitigate aggression and foster cognitions and emotions of affiliation or passivity; induce morbidity, disability or suffering; and ‘neutralise’ potential opponents or incur mortality”—in other words, to maim and kill people.

The report quoted US Major General Robert H. Scales, who summarized NATO’s new combat philosophy: “Victory will be defined more in terms of capturing the psycho-cultural rather than the geographical high ground.” …

The study spoke of “the crucible of data sciences and human sciences,” and stressed that “the combination of Social Sciences and System Engineering will be key in helping military analysts to improve the production of intelligence.”

“If kinetic power cannot defeat the enemy,” it said, “psychology and related behavioural and social sciences stand to fill the void.” …

All academic disciplines will be implicated in cognitive warfare, not just the hard sciences. “Within the military, expertise on anthropology, ethnography, history, psychology among other areas will be more than ever required to cooperate with the military,” the NATO-sponsored study stated.

The report nears its conclusion with an eerie quote: “Today’s progresses in nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology and cognitive science (NBIC), boosted by the seemingly unstoppable march of a triumphant troika made of Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and civilisational ‘digital addiction’ have created a much more ominous prospect: an embedded fifth column, where everyone, unbeknownst to him or her, is behaving according to the plans of one of our competitors.”

“The modern concept of war is not about weapons but about influence,” it posited. “Victory in the long run will remain solely dependent on the ability to influence, affect, change or impact the cognitive domain.”

The NATO-sponsored study then closed with a final paragraph that makes it clear beyond doubt that the Western military alliance’s ultimate goal is not only physical control of the planet, but also control over people’s minds:

“Cognitive warfare may well be the missing element that allows the transition from military victory on the battlefield to lasting political success. The human domain might well be the decisive domain, wherein multi-domain operations achieve the commander’s effect. The five first domains can give tactical and operational victories; only the human domain can achieve the final and full victory.”

The NATO report emphasizes military-industrial cooperation, and openly asserts the necessity of Western militaries working more closely with academia to weaponize social sciences and human sciences and help the alliance develop its cognitive warfare capacities. As du Cluzel said, “cognitive warfare is not just another word, another name for information warfare. It is a war on our individual processor, our brain.”

The capacities of cognitive warfare are particularly dangerous, because its ambition alters the entire concept of warfare and supports globalism’s overarching reset of the world and everyone who lives in it. BigBrain and BICAN neurotechnology will facilitate the imposition of technocracy and transhumanism on the world’s population. How they will accomplish this is the subject of the next chapter.
