Socialist Revolution in America — a Preview of the November Election

The 2016 election was a turning point of our survival and survival of the American Constitutional Republic designed and left to us by our Founding Fathers. Yes, we are very close to losing the Republic and our freedom. President Trump’s election stopped a ‘foreign’ infiltration into our soil, mind, and body to transform the American Republic from a Capitalist economic system to Socialism. We American people should pay attention to the current unraveling of the Russia-Collusion narrative. It was the result of a criminal collaboration between the so-called Democrat Party and the Russian Security apparatus, writing about which, I use the term—KGB.

Yes, Russia indeed meddled in the 2016 election: It was a long-term collaboration with the leadership of the so-called Democrat Party with Putin’s Security apparatus, which began several decades ago, long before Putin. I have described that collaboration for the last thirty-five years in my books and columns. Yet Putin’s KGB has not allowed the objective information about Russia to be spread to the world. While trying to do that myself, the corrupt FBI made me a foreign agent, sabotaging and blocking my writings, depriving you of real knowledge of the enemy. For me, the Trump/Dossier was the first sign of the KGB’s big scam to fight personally President Trump from the first day he had announced his candidacy for the U.S. presidency…

“While watching the so-called Trump/Dossier documentary in the 2017, it took me ten seconds to realize that it was Russian “fallshivka” a fraud in front of me. Everything in the Dossier exposed the KGB’s handwriting: an arrogant manner of presentation, method, character with an aggressive and salacious tone to denigrate President Trump, the Republican Party, and to influence American opinion. It was a vivid picture of incredible dirt they conjured up on Trump, a typical Stalinist legacy of demonizing and attacking the opposition leader, used by the KGB.” I wrote that in my column The Global Spy Ring, January 1, 2018.

In fact, the anti-Trump Investigation was a cover-up of both Obama’s crimes and those of the DNC, committed during years of collaborating with Putin’s KGB. Obama weaponized our entire security apparatus: CIA, FBI, DOJ, to fabricate Trump’s crime. We are dealing today with “the criminal Deep State,” and their espionage and treason. Therefore, knowledge of the enemy is a MUST. I’ll try to give you the summary of that criminal alliance of the DNC and Russian Security apparatus to transform America to Socialism—the result was the Russian probe, initiated by the Trump/Dossier, a KGB production. Read here Watergate 2.0: The KGB’s Global Spy Ring, 11, 8, 2019.

The Story of The infiltration into America

Surprisingly, many Americans know of the Communist Saul Alinsky and read his book Rules for Radicals. People were reading books in the 20th century. Yet, they didn’t know many other Communists with the same agenda to sabotage and damage our country. Though there were thousands others, I’ll give you another two, who damaged our country no less than Alinsky. Obama’s Communist mentor Frank Marshall Davis, inculcated the ideas of Socialism/Communism to the young mind of Barack Obama with great success in the last century and you feel it today in the 21st century.

The third Communist was Walter Durante, a correspondent, and the Moscow Bureau Chief of The New York Times for fourteen years, a winner of the Pulitzer Prize. This Communist did no less than the prior two: he covered Socialism/Communism in Russia—during the Stalinist crimes of the 20th century. He practiced “operation disinformation” justifying Stalin’s Show Trials and Great Purges, where defendants refused to “cooperate”—i.e., to admit guilt for their alleged and mostly fabricated crimes. Durante was lying and deceiving the world for decades. I have described and illustrated his crime in all my books, especially in my first book Baltic Winds: Testimony of a Soviet Attorney, Xlibris, 2002.

As a matter of fact, there were thousands of Socialists/Communists following the Stalin/Andropov design/agenda to destabilize free markets and American capitalism in the 20th century. They have built an army of followers-leftists, which is continuing to develop the Stalin/Andropov design to divide America in the 21st century. I am purposely calling this design/agenda by the names of Stalin/Andropov. A devoted disciple of Stalin, Yuri Andropov, the KGB Chairman 1967-1982, his tenure coincided with my work within the legal community, I knew him pretty well, and have written about him for years. Read here my column Political Correctness and the Socialist Revolution in America, October 31, 2019

If you remember the KGB and Soviet Military Decision of 1955, which I called the Project of 1955, you’ll grasp an aggressive and expansionist global agenda of Socialism/Communism, established by the Stalin/Andropov plan in the 20th century. The three above mentioned Communists in America acted in accordance with this plan under the supervision of the KGB and infamous Soviet propaganda machine. Communist-agitator Saul Alinsky taught people the radical rules to fight against the cultural tapestry of our civil society and political system designed by our Founding Fathers. To hide Stalin’s crime and create a cosmetic Socialism, Walter Durante lied and deceived the world for years, covering-up crimes against humanity, while Frank Marshall Davis inculcated the mind of the future U.S. President with cosmetic Socialism (Utopian thinking).

Real Socialism is a war-crime regime, read here my column of May 27, 2020. Socialism is a police state with a system of abuse, fraud, and waste. It is constantly lying, cheating and deceiving the world, and they cannot even tell themselves the truth. Socialism corrupts everything it touches. Socialism is a Police State with a culture of total control over an enslaved population. There is no freedom of religion, press, and assembly under Socialism. Real Socialism is an infection like coronavirus, a political disease of incompetence, dishonesty, and eventually violence spread by the propaganda of Soviet Charlatans. Unfortunately the American education system has failed to teach the criminal history of Socialism and Stalin/Andropov’s design to conquer the world…

Those three Socialist Charlatans made enormous “achievements”: the vast majority of Americans do not know real Socialism today. This unawareness has allowed a Trojan Horse Bernie Sanders (communist/socialist) to continue the KGB’s criminal “operation disinformation” of Walter Durante–Bernie lies and deceives America successfully, while building a movement of ignorant followers in the 21st century. Socialist Barack Obama, the former U.S. President, brought such damage to our country, that we’ll feel it for decades. Today he runs the Deep State with his holdovers in the Capital. Those people, with the help of the other thousands Socialist Charlatans has now created a Socialist mentality in America and transformed the Democratic Party of Truman to America’s Socialist Party-a proxy of Putin’s KGB, combating the Republican Party and deeply dividing the country…

Socialist Lies, Deceit, and Fraud: the Face of the Dems

To grasp the radical changes within the Democrat Party, I’ll remind you Stalin’s statement:

“America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual Life. If you can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within.” Joseph Stalin.

Now please, look at current events in America. What Stalin predicted in the 20th century has partially been achieved by America’s Socialist Party in the 21st century. All corners of the American society are infiltrated by the Socialist mafia: the government, media, academia, courts, sports, and others. Look at the Blue States how they are coordinating and confronting Trump’s administration, with Democrat Governors imposing typical totalitarian restrictions on their citizenship—the Socialist mafia scourge is working in America against the Republicans and the moral values of our Constitutional Republic…

The latest example is the paralyzed Dem leadership is Minnesota, as a result more than 170 business had been damaged and looted. Minneapolis is being hijacked by criminal thugs. They cannot give answer to why they are doing it. Rioting, looting and burning is a crime by law. An angry protest has purpose. Due to dereliction of duty by both the MN Governor and MN Attorney General the riotous looting and burning are out of control and not stopping. The police retreated from the 3d precinct and the fire department did not act to save the building from the criminals who burned it to ground. Attorney General Keith Ellison and the members of the Squad in Minnesota are the Red Flag for me—the product of Socialist mafia. Misleading words from the MN Governor Tim Walz and AG Keith Ellison of togetherness are an attempt to cover-up the crime committed by them in Minneapolis—not promptly combating the mob and arresting its leaders…

And now… unrest has erupted across the country–a criminal mob fighting civilization. For me it was pre-planned–the Dems’ preparation, a rehearsal for the nationwide riots in the election 2020. The Governor Walz has exposed himself talking about “institutional racism.” What a disgraceful statement! America doesn’t have ‘institutional racism,” it is the Dems’ pattern of narratives (lies that are constantly repeated) to divide our country. Be attentive to the Socialist operatives Black Lives Matter and Antifa. They are now organized across the country to fight Republicans in November, while an incompetent FBI sleeps. Several days of unrest, rioting, looting, and burning nationwide have become the issue of national security and enemies within… Read my columns Socialist Agitprop Used by Desperate Democrats, October, 21, 2019

I am not alone, predicting unrest in the 2020 election, there are professional media that still exists and are exposing a so-called Democrat Party for what it really is:

Canada Free Press: “The bigger story not in the news is that in their latest efforts to hijack the masses, Hollywood, Democrats and media have managed to hide their partisan activism under boldly stated deceitful claims of being: “non-partisan”, “non-profit”. ‘Non-Partisan’ Fading Hollywood Stars Gang Up With “Non-Partisan” Democrats For Election 2020 By Judi McLeod May 24, 2020

United States Attorney William M. McSwain announced on Thursday that a Philadelphia Judge of Elections has pleaded guilty to stuffing ballot boxes in exchange for payments from Democrats.

BOMBSHELL: Election Official Rigged Election Results For Democrats, Constituted ‘Significant Percentage Of The Total Votes,’ DOJ Says, May 22, 2020

This is the real face of a so-called Democrat Party. We are paying a dear price for the dysfunctional FBI Director, Mr. Wray, who missed vetting professionally the Dems candidates for the House of Representative in the 2018 election and Socialist operatives got into the Congress… This is also a lesson for the AG William P. Barr to expose the Deep State, prosecute the guilty and convict them. Otherwise the American Constitutional Republic is doomed… A multitude of Socialist Charlatans prevails in America, besides, the Dems are paying for violence like they did paying for violence against Trump’s rallies in the 2916 election…

Do you remember “never let a crises go to waste?” Those words belong to Frank Marshal Davis, another Socialist Charlatan just repeated them forty years later…  This is the tide of the times…

6 Cities Where Looters Are Ransacking Minority-Owned Businesses

Minority-owned businesses are among the worst-hit targets of looters and rioters who rampaged in Minneapolis and then other cities after a black man died in police custody, according to news reports.

“Expressing grievances to our elected officials in the form of protest is a time-honored tradition,” Stacy Washington, co-chairwoman of the board of Project 21, a black conservative group, said in a public statement Monday.

“But what we are watching unfold across the country is a coordinated effort to destroy the rule of law and order in our communities and to gin up racial tension,” Washington said. “In video after video, we see masked white protesters dressed all in black destroying property in black neighborhoods. And it’s blacks who are trying to stop the Antifa protesters from defacing small businesses.”

During remarks Monday evening in the Rose Garden, President Donald Trump noted: “The biggest victims of the rioting are peace-loving citizens in our poorest communities, and as their president, I will fight to keep them safe.”

In these trying times, we must turn to the greatest document in the history of the world to promise freedom and opportunity to its citizens for guidance. Find out more now >>

Prosecutors charged Derek Chauvin, 44, with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in the death of George Floyd, 46, who was being arrested Memorial Day evening on suspicion of passing a counterfeit 20-dollar bill.

Cellphone video showed Chauvin, at the time a Minneapolis police officer, with a knee pressing into the neck of Floyd, prone and handcuffed on the pavement, for nearly nine minutes.

Floyd, who was black, could be heard begging Chauvin, who is white, to allow him to stand and saying “I can’t breathe” before he fell silent.

A medical examiner determined Monday that Floyd’s death was a homicide. Outrage over his death has united Americans across political divides, as well as police chiefs and police unions.

“I understand the anger, but I do not understand destroying your own neighborhood to protest an innocent man’s murder,” Marie Fischer, an information technology specialist and Maryland political consultant who is black, said of those looting and setting fires.

“I do not understand many who are bailing out these ‘protesters’ as a sign of support. How about you fund the minority business owners whose stores and businesses have been destroyed by rioters?” said Fischer, who also is a member of Project 21. “They should fund those who were and are building these communities instead of the ones tearing them down under the guise of social justice—which in this case is neither social nor just.”

Here are six examples of minority-owned businesses across the country that were vandalized, desecrated, or destroyed by rioters.

1. MinneapolisWhere Unrest Began

Luis Tamay, an immigrant, reportedly saved for more than 10 years to open his Ecuadorian restaurant, El Sabor Chuchi, in Minneapolis seven years ago.

After guarding his restaurant during the first couple of nights of unrest,  Tamay obeyed the city’s curfew Friday night and went home, believing the Minnesota National Guard would keep order.

When Tamay arrived at his restaurant Saturday morning, it was burned to the ground, the Minneapolis StarTribune reported.

“Seventeen years of work is gone,” he told the newspaper.

Nearby, a Spanish-language radio station, La Raza, also burned down. Station owner Maya Santamaria wrote on her GoFundMe page: “Small, minority business owners found themselves with the businesses that they worked their fingers to the bone building destroyed, looted, vandalized and burned down. Some had no insurance. Others have no resources.”

Jeff Lusuer, a Minneapolis barber who is black, had two shops. One was burned down; someone broke into the other and stole supplies.

Still, Lusuer expressed empathy for the looters after what had occurred in Floyd’s killing, saying he is fed up with police.

“Even though it hurt my businesses, I understand,” Lusuer told the StarTribune.

Floyd was killed in Minneapolis, and peaceful protests began there before others turned to violence, looting, and arson.

The StarTribune reported: “The riots and arson that followed protests of George Floyd’s death have devastated organizations and businesses that serve communities of color.”

The newspaper reported Monday that looters burned a nonprofit center for American Indian youth.

La Michoacana Purepecha ice cream shop lost power as a result of the riots, and employees tried to give popsicles away.

“People right now are going to want to stay away from Lake Street, and that is understandable,” business owner Ricardo Hernandez told the newspaper, referring to the location of his ice cream shop.

“It’s very hard to see your whole life savings go down like this,” Hernandez said. “We used up all our money to build something nice for … not just the Latino community, but everybody.”

2. Atlanta: ‘A Very Sad Day for Us’

Atlanta has a strong legacy in the civil rights movement as the one-time home of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., who promoted peaceful resistance to injustice in the 1960s.

Still, the city erupted in riots as badly as any other in the nation over the weekend. Some of the stores that were broken into and damaged were black-owned businesses, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.

The TV station highlighted Attom, the first black-owned business to operate in an outdoor mall called The Shops at Buckhead, known for high-end retail stores.

“I don’t know if people know we’re owned by a black man because we don’t put it on the front of the business,” Attom owner Zola Dias told the station. “But this is a very sad day for us.”

The store is boarded up, like most of the other shops in the outdoor mall, Fox 5 reported.

“I’m a black man, I’m young, but there is another way to go and protest,” Dias added.

A group of black women set up a fundraising effort to assist black-owned businesses that were destroyed or vandalized, the station  reported.

3. Looting in Texas Capital

Looters targeted a black-owned salon over the weekend in Austin, Texas, NBC affiliate KXAN reported.

The owner of Private Stock Premium Boutique set up a GoFundMe page and as of Monday had raised more than $60,000 to help rebuild.

Another black-owned business, World Liquor & Tobacco, was looted twice Sunday, KXAN reported.

4. ‘Frustrating’ Vandalism in Denver

A Denver restaurant called Buffalo Wildwings and Things, owned by Zac Gabani, was a target of vandalism.

“It is frustrating,” Gabani told CBS4 in Denver, adding that breaking things “is pretty counterintuitive.”

Gabani’s eatery reportedly was one of the few businesses that tried to remain open during both the riots and peaceful protests in Denver.

“We were the only place open to feed them,” Gabani said. “We like to support the community; we just wish they would help support us as well.”

5. Milwaukee: ‘Not a Way of Finding Justice’

Dozens of minority-owned businesses in Milwaukee were ransacked by looters, Fox6 Milwaukee reported.

Sam Rahami, owner of the store Trend Benderz, smashed over the weekend, told the TV station:  “Destroying somebody’s business, somebody’s livelihood, is not a way of finding justice for anyone.”

Another store owner, not identified by name in the news story, complained to the station that the destruction was counterproductive.

“What they’re doing is against their benefit. We are here to be part of this community,” the owner of a Cricket Wireless store that was looted and damaged said.

6. Philadelphia: ‘For My Own Community to Do It to My Business’

Black leaders in Philadelphia held a forum calling for peace and in part highlighting that many black businesses were being destroyed, ABC-6 reported.

The forum included black clergy in Philadelphia as well as Human Rights Coalition 215 and Philadelphia Community Stakeholders.

Among those speaking at the event this week were Elliott Broaster, owner of Smoke N Things, a shop that was burned down.

“When I got home alone, I shed a few tears. I saw my business burn down and it hurt me a lot. And especially for my own community to do it to my business, that’s what really [hurt],” Broaster told ABC-6.

The news station reported: “What took years for this Temple grad to build was destroyed in a matter of minutes.”

A Note for our Readers:

This is a critical year in the history of our country. With the country polarized and divided on a number of issues and with roughly half of the country clamoring for increased government control—over health care, socialism, increased regulations, and open borders—we must turn to America’s founding for the answers on how best to proceed into the future.

Some of the news is so disturbing it seemed only right to get up and post it.

I think this is the sister who was killed.

A 22-year-old Iowa woman was killed in an apparently random shooting while leaving a George Floyd protest in Davenport — one of two fatal shootings reported overnight during demonstrations in the city.

Italia Marie Kelly was leaving the protest with a friend around midnight Sunday when she was struck from the back by a bullet and collapsed near a local Walmart, according to her aunt.

Police said she was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

“She was always smiling, always laughing,” aunt Amy Hale said. “That’s why it’s so sad that she was taken in such a violent way.”

“That is not Italia,” she said. “She was the bright, bubbly big personality in the room.”

Lawsuits Begin Over Trudeau’s “Assault Weapon” Ban

As we informed our readers earlier, Justin Trudeau, the Canadian Prime Minister, took advantage of the suspension of Parliament to declare a ban on what he described as “military grade assault weapons.” The implementing regulations (“Orders in Council”) apply to over 1,500 models and “variants” of guns that have been used for decades for lawful hunting, competitive shooting, and other recreational uses.

The law took effect on May 1, the day of the announcement, but includes a two-year “amnesty” during which a mandatory government confiscation program (inaccurately called a “buyback”) will be implemented. The details of this program are unknown, as are those of a “grandfathering” option referred to by Mr. Trudeau. With very narrow exceptions, it is now illegal for gun owners to buy, sell, transport, import, or use these “prohibited” firearms.

Gun owners and firearm advocacy groups responded to the ban immediately. The Canadian Shooting Sports Association (CSSA) met with officials from the federal Department of Justice, the RCMP, Public Safety Canada, and others in briefings on the new law.

The CSSA reports that not only is it dishonest for the government to maintain that that ban is intended for “weapons that were not designed for hunting or for target shooting,” but that:

[a]n examination of the new regulations showed a clear lack of understanding of the subject matter and that little care was taken in the preparation of these documents. Officials from these departments were unable to provide a working definition of the firearms that were placed on the “banned” list and displayed a shocking ignorance of current laws. They were unable to answer simple question about how the current ban would dovetail with the prohibitions contained in … legislation passed eleven months ago.

The CSSA and the Canadian Sporting Arms and Ammunition Association (CSAAA) have since published two legal opinions by Edward L. Burlew, a Canadian firearms law expert. The first concludes that the law prohibits 10- and 12-gauge shotguns with a screw-in choke tube under a provision that generally bans firearms with a “bore diameter of 20 mm or greater.” The second reviews the problematic application of a clause that bans firearms “capable of discharging a projectile with a muzzle energy greater than 10,000 joules.” Questions have also been raised regarding the impact of the maximum bore provision on firearms brought to Canada by visiting hunters, and on tools used in construction and for industrial cleaning.

The uncertainty is compounded by the failure of the government to provide information on the mandatory “buyback” program, and by the subsequent deletion of references to grandfathering on an RCMP website.

Lawsuits challenging the regulations as illegal and unconstitutional are already underway. John Hipwell, the founder of Wolverine Supplies Ltd., a gun store, has retained Mr. Burlew in one such challenge, with a GoFundMe account being set up recently to cover the necessary legal fees.

In addition to individual gun owners, there is some indication that the Province of Saskatchewan may be considering its own court action, with the Justice Minister, Don Morgan, expressing concern over the ban’s impact on lawful gun owners, and hunting and outfitting businesses in his province.

NRA-ILA was able to reach Edward Burlew for his insights on this unprecedented government ban. “The Order in Council bypassed democratic Parliamentary procedures – with the stroke of a pen, over 100,000 lawful Canadian firearm owners became criminals.” Mr. Burlew explains that the Liberal government not only capitalized on the pandemic-related suspension of Parliament to go after law-abiding gun owners, it empowered the police to interpret the scope of the law. The list of banned guns is not fixed at what appears in the May 1 regulation because, “as the RCMP Forensic Lab adds their opinion of Variants,” the banned gun list has grown to include “over 1,000 new prohibited guns not directly listed in the Order in Council. These are opinions of nameless bureaucrats who are expanding the list by hundreds of manufacturer models daily.” These ongoing additions mean “no one is sure of the guns on the list,” so innocent Canadian gun owners who unwittingly take one of these firearms out of the home face possible prosecution, seizure of their property, and jail time.

Resident gun owners are not the only ones at risk – there are devastating repercussions across the gun community and firearm businesses in Canada and beyond. According to Mr. Burlew, manufacturers and distributors in the United States and elsewhere “have stopped shipping guns because of fear they will be deemed prohibited en route and seized by Customs. Hunters have the same fear and are reluctant to book hunting trips with outfitters. Canadian gun dealers are facing over a hundred million dollar loss because their inventory is now worthless. Dealers are closing shop.”

Litigation is notoriously expensive and time-consuming. Even so, the gun community has so far rallied to the cause, and the lawyers involved in the legal challenges “have agreed to co-operate to share resources and present a united front against this government confiscation.”

There is a valuable lesson here for America’s gun owners, against casual complacency and a misplaced faith in the status quo. “The government,” warns Mr. Burlew, “relied on there not being any right to own a firearm in Canada. Ownership is a privilege, and that has been taken more easily than it was earned by the over 100,000 Canadian gun owners affected.”

Let’s take a closer look at #BlackLivesMatter

America’s police have killed 5,360 people over the last five years: 2,412 White, 1,262 Black, 887 Hispanic and 799 unknown or “other.”

On Monday night, the Black Lives Matter protest came to the sleepy beach town of Huntington Beach, California: about 500 protesters, most of them white, denouncing police brutality against black men.

A diverse group of students, retirees and mothers with children faced off against about 200 police officers, some mounted on horses, many of them Hispanic.

There had been a report that more ominous Antifa demonstrators were being bused in to loot local shops, so about 30 stores had boarded up their windows with plywood, just in case. The police found weapons hidden in several alleys, including cinder blocks, weights and rocks, indicating plans for possible violence.

Yet in the end, little happened. The demonstrators chanted “I Can’t Breathe” at the cops, held up signs for TV camera crews, then left. This is what occurred in most small and medium towns across America.

But in America’s cities, it’s a different story.

For a week now, Americans have been sitting in front of their televisions, transfixed, as cities across the United States erupt in riots not seen since the 1960s. At least 40 major cities have imposed curfews, with 23 calling in units of America’s National Guard to restore order.

After two months of strict lock-downs engineered primarily by Democratic mayors and governors, some 40 million Americans are now unemployed, most of them without savings, many with no hope of returning to work.

When people ventured out to beaches or parks for fresh air, some of the overzealous mayors and governors ordered arrests and imposed US$7,000 fines.

Not surprisingly, the entire country, like the entire world, has been on edge for weeks.

And then came the tragic death of George Floyd, an African American man killed or allowed to die on May 25 at the hands of Minneapolis’s ethnically diverse police department.

Like the police beating of Rodney King in Los Angeles nearly 30 years ago, the brutal treatment of Floyd triggered an explosion among disparate groups across the country – the black community, extreme left groups like Antifa, and run-of-the-mill criminals, thugs and looters.

Most Americans, including most police officers, appear to be sincerely outraged by what happened to Floyd. Police chiefs across the country denounced the actions of the officer involved.

Yet what happened to Floyd was hardly unique – and not confined to black males.

Three years ago, a 40-year-old Australian yoga instructor named Justine Damond called the Minneapolis police to report what she thought was a sexual assault then taking place.

When Minneapolis police arrived around 11:30 pm, Damond ran up to the squad car to report what she had heard. One of the police officers, a Somali immigrant named Mohamed Mohamed Noor, reached across his partner in his squad car and, through the car’s open window, shot Damond in the chest, killing her.

There were no riots for Damond, no quick arrests for the officer involved.

Instead, nine months after the shooting, a warrant was finally issued for Noor’s arrest. He was convicted a year later of third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter, a conviction the Somali Police Association said was racist.

According to the Washington Post’s Fatal Force database, which claims to track every police shooting in the United States, since 2015 America’s various police agencies have shot or otherwise killed a total of 5,360 people – about three per day on average.

Of those, 887 were Hispanic, 1,262 were black, and 2,412 were white. Another 799 were unknown or “other.”

The media often highlight the cases involving black men, because that fits the narrative of “systemic” white racism, but the reality is that police shootings are not perpetrated solely, or even primarily, against black males.

There are literally hundreds of cases every year of American police shooting to death white males (and a few females) who confront police with weapons, or, in a handful of egregious cases, fail to comply with police orders.

  • In December 2010, a drunk white man named Douglas Zerby, 35, was sitting on his porch in Long Beach, California, playing with his garden hose. Responding to a false report that a man might have a gun, two police officers approached, and, seeing the hose and without issuing any commands, opened fire, shooting Zerby 12 times. The Long Beach prosecutor declined to press charges against the two officers.
  • In 2011, a white homeless man, Kelly Thomas, the son of a retired L.A. Police Officer, was killed by three members of the Fullerton, California police department when they beat him to death for failing to obey their commands. The officers were eventually tried for second degree murder and involuntary manslaughter but acquitted by a jury.
  • In 2012, two police officers in the sleepy community of Bainbridge Island, Washington, responded to a call of a mentally ill man, who was white, yelling in the garage apartment of his parents. One of the officers ordered the man to drop an axe he was holding and, when he refused, shot him dead. A jury acquitted the officer of using excessive force.

Examples such as these fail to mollify media critics who claim the police are inherently racist.

The critics point out that, while more whites are killed annually by police than blacks, blacks are only 12.1% of the US population.

The critics say that this means that African Americans are 2.5 times more likely to be killed by American police than are white people – 30 deaths per million for blacks versus 12 deaths per million for whites — and point to this fact as proof that “systemic” racism permeates American society in general and the police in particular.

“There are two viruses killing Americans,” said CNN anchor Don Lemon after the riots began. “Covid-19 and racism”.

Yet supporters of the police say that the shooting statistics don’t tell the whole story.

For one thing, about 50 police officers are shot and killed in the line of duty each year, some from deliberate ambushes.

Every police officer knows of incidents in which a cop inadvertently stepped into an ambush and paid with his or her life – such as the five officers killed in Dallas in 2016 when they were ambushed by a black military veteran named Micah Xavier Johnson.

Johnson, who watched Black Lives Matters protests over and over on TV, told friends that “he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers.”

In addition, when it comes to interracial violence blacks are many times more likely to commit violence against whites than whites are against blacks.

According to the US Department of Justice statistics, in 2018 there were 547,948 acts of violence perpetrated by black offenders against white victims… compared to 56,915 acts of violence committed by white offenders against black victims.

When it comes to homicide generally, the offending rate for African Americans is almost 8 times higher than for whites, and the victim rate 6 times higher.

Thus, if racism is defined by acts of violence, it would seem that black racism is at least as much of a problem ín America as white racism.

Plus, a study of police shootings by Michigan State University professor Joseph Cesario found that white police officers are not more likely to shoot minority citizens than non-white officers for a very simple reason: most of the shootings of black suspects by police are done by black police officers, not white ones.

“We found that the race of the officer doesn’t matter when it comes to predicting whether black or white citizens are shot,” Cesario said. “If anything, black citizens are more likely to have been shot by black officers, but this is because black officers are drawn from the same population that they police. So, the more black citizens there are in a community, the more black police officers there are.”

Thus, it turns out that the entire premise behind the current round of riots – that American police are inherently racist and more likely to shoot or cause harm to black offenders than to white ones – is likely false in two different ways.

Not only are more whites killed by police every year than blacks, but, if the Cesario study is accurate, then most shootings of black offenders are done by black officers, not white officers.

The cases the media constantly highlight – such as unarmed black men being shot or choked – are relatively rare and, thanks to improved training, decreasing.

According to the Washington Post, of the 5,360 people killed by police over the past five years, only 321 were unarmed. Most involved suspects brandishing firearms (3,053) or knives (924) or driving vehicles towards police (126).

In the end, stoking the flames of racial hatred, as the media and the political left are now doing so enthusiastically, ultimately serves no one.

Despite what left-wing activists claim, studies have shown that riots, violence and looting usually trigger an electoral backlash that bolsters conservative political parties – as occurred with the election of Richard Nixon following the 1968 riots.

In the ultimate irony, it could well turn out that the looters now stealing TVs and beating up old women will only succeed in re-electing Donald Trump.

The sky’s the limit for commercial space flight

Will SpaceX be the first step towards colonising the solar system?

On Saturday, May 30, American astronauts flew into orbit on an American-made space vehicle for the first time since 2011. SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket carried Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken, both veterans of the old Space Shuttle program, inside the Dragon capsule, and once the capsule separated safely, the first stage returned automatically to earth and landed intact on a barge to be reused.

Meanwhile, the Dragon capsule caught up to the International Space Station (ISS) where the astronauts will stay for the next several months. The return flight in the Dragon capsule is planned to end in the ocean, a mode of re-entry that hasn’t been done for over 40 years.

Many news reports remarked on the contrast between the good news of a successful launch and the general tone of recent US news events: the Covid-19 virus and all its consequences, riots over police brutality, and so on. But this is nothing new.

The space race between the US and the USSR over who would get to the moon first was conducted during what was probably the most tumultuous decade in the last half of the twentieth century. The 1960s were not exactly peaceful: the Vietnam War, antiwar protests, race riots, and the sexual revolution are just a few items of turmoil that come to mind. But amid all the strife, America found the will and the capability to land men on the moon on July 20, 1969.

Engineers are not much into symbolism. But space exploration carries a heavy load of symbolism, and it’s worthwhile considering what that means in light of the huge effort and expense that sending people into space entails.

In retrospect, the Apollo program was mainly a way to carry on the Cold War by peaceful means. Its extraordinary expense was justified not for scientific reasons, although there was some useful science done. But being the first nation to put men on the moon would show our technological superiority to the world, and in an age dominated by technology, that achievement had implications that everyone understood. It took a couple more decades for the USSR to crumble away, but it did.

Nevertheless, in their rough-and-ready way, the Russians maintained their ability to travel into space despite all kinds of political reverses, and once the Space Shuttle program outlived its usefulness, America turned inward with regard to space and paid taxi fare to the Russians to put people on the International Space Station.

When one asks about the ultimate motivations of the younger generation of space cadets—Elon Musk being their spiritual leader—the answer isn’t as clear-cut as it was for my generation. Nationalism pure and simple doesn’t seem to be a big factor, although Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, is enough of an American to take pride in the fact that the rocket was made here and launched from here.

To be sure, profit is a motive as well. That’s why the fact that SpaceX and not NASA was the builder of the rocket is so significant. It may be the case that SpaceX is a long way from turning a profit with direct commercial space activities, as opposed to government-subsidized projects such as the ISS launches. But with ideas such as asteroid mining around, it may be that some of the next great fortunes may be made in space.

If I had to guess, though, I’d say that the new space explorers see themselves taking part in a long-term project that will end up putting significant numbers of people out in space, in places that will be just as habitable as Earth, if not more so.

Every so often I come across a student who wants to get involved in the space program somehow, and there’s often a kind of glitter in their eye when they talk about it. The phrase “manifest destiny” has fallen under a cloud in recent years, as its original meaning that the United States was destined to conquer the whole midsection of the North American continent has been taken to be insensitive to the people (and animals) who were already here.

But presumably, displacing natives is not a big problem in the solar system, at least. And believing that humanity is fated to found colonies on other planets, and perhaps beyond the solar system, seems to be close to an article of faith for many space enthusiasts.

It’s interesting that the word “fate” came up in a quote from Musk himself as he commented on the successful launch yesterday. Remarking on the contrast between Saturday’s successful launch and the earlier attempts that were scrubbed by weather conditions, he said, “Today, I don’t know, it felt like just the fates were aligned.”

Without putting undue weight on what may have been just an offhand remark, I think it’s interesting that the leader of the company that launched Americans into space for the first time in nearly a decade attributes success to the fates being aligned.

Musk mixed his metaphors, for one thing. The usual phrase is to say that the stars are aligned, which harks back to the time when astrology—forecasting auspicious times and events by observing stars and planets—was every bit as respectable as forecasting the progress of pandemics is today. And the Fates were mythological goddesses who presumably determined one’s lifespan and, well, fate in life.

Either way, he was saying that despite all the highly technical and cross-checked planning involved, there is an element in the venture that wasn’t under human control. But we don’t believe in Fates or astrology anymore, do we?

It depends on what you think life and the world are about. If the most one has to look forward to is playing a brief role on a stage where your only hope of immortality is to make a big splash that will be remembered by future generations, then living a Musk-like life makes some sense, especially if humanity is fated to live among the stars. Then you will be viewed by future generations as a Columbus (if that name isn’t too offensive anymore), or someone equally famous for venturing out to discover and eventually populate new worlds.

But if everything we do and are is owing to a supernatural Ground of existence, namely a God who is intensely interested in what we puny humans do, then one has a different perspective on things.

It still may be worthwhile to explore space, and even for some people to live there. But other priorities and other goals may intervene.

On George Floyd: There is NOTHING to Protest

With the mayhem following the last Monday death of arrestee George Floyd, many have pointed out that protesting is fine, but rioting is not. While obviously true, something equally so is left unsaid:

There is nothing to protest.

It’s not as with the murder of Justine Damond, where it took eight months to arrest the guilty Minneapolis police officer, Mohamed Noor.

It’s not as with the killing of Virginian John Geer, where it took 23 months to arrest the cop who killed him and later pled down to involuntary manslaughter, Adam Torres.

Of course, Damond and Geer were both white. So not only were there no protests, riots, looting or burning; the incidents weren’t even covered nationally. Nothing to see here — move along.

In contrast, it took mere days for the officer in the Floyd case, Derek Chauvin, to be fired, arrested and charged with 3rd degree murder and manslaughter, and the other three cops involved have also been axed. So what would satisfy the protesters? A summary execution? (In some cases, yes.)

Oh, but there’s the big picture, many say? There sure is, and it’s this:

Far more white than black suspects are shot every year by cops.

This isn’t merely due to whites being far more numerous, either. After all, research finds that police are actually more likely to shoot whites relative to the races’ different homicide rates and the rates at which they feloniously shoot police.

study also showed that cops are, in reality, more willing to shoot white suspects than black ones.

Black suspects are as likely to shoot at police as to be shot at.

According to FBI statistics, 46 percent of those who murder police officers are black.

White police officers are actually less likely than non-white officers to shoot and kill non-white suspects.

Police shootings of black suspects have declined 75 percent in recent decades.

Note also that approximately 90 percent of black homicide victims are killed by other black people — and, here’s what most don’t know, most of the rest are likely killed by Hispanics. (Hispanics are generally included in the “white” category in crime statistics.) Non-Hispanic white-on-black murder is relatively rare.

So, again, what’s there to protest?

Of course, media propaganda ensures that not only won’t most people know the above truths, but that they’ll live in an inverted world of unreality in which they think the truth is precisely the opposite. This is why the mainstream media are largely responsible for the rioting, destruction and death currently plaguing our country.

Actually, though, there is something to protest: the lockdowns, which, despite being revealed as a cure far worse than the disease, are perpetuated by ignorant, corrupt politicians who know an admission of error indicts their judgment.

Speaking of which, if the shut-down businesses’ owners created mayhem the way the miscreants destroying some of their businesses currently are, would they get the kind of sympathy the establishment Left shows the rioters? Actually, the ignorant, corrupt politicians would probably enjoy rolling over them with a tank — and would be cheered on by their talking-monkey public-relations team (a.k.a. the media).

In reality, it’s likely that many rioters couldn’t even tell you the name of the guy who died in police custody last Monday, and many couldn’t care less about him. They’re driven by their own twisted passions (and there’s astroturfing at work here, too), and should be brought to heel with extreme prejudice.

Instead, all the feckless Minneapolis authorities could do was declare “racism” a national emergency to justify the violence.

Our real national emergency is widespread lack of virtue, with, in particular, the virtues of honesty, courage and justice in terribly short supply.

VIDEO: The Incredible Journey of Elon Musk — The Story Of SpaceX

Nerdiest reports:

In 2001, Musk conceptualized “Mars Oasis”; a project to land a miniature experimental greenhouse on Mars, containing food crops growing on Martian regolith, in an attempt to regain public interest in space exploration.

In October 2001, Musk traveled to Moscow with Jim Cantrell (an aerospace supplies fixer), and Adeo Ressi (his best friend from college), to buy refurbished Dnepr Intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) that could send the envisioned payloads into space. The group met with companies such as NPO Lavochkin and Kosmotras; however, according to Cantrell, Musk was seen as a novice and was consequently spat on by one of the Russian chief designers and the group returned to the United States empty-handed.

In February 2002, the group returned to Russia to look for three ICBMs, bringing along Mike Griffin. Griffin had worked for the CIA’s venture capital arm, In-Q-Tel, as well as NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and was just leaving Orbital Sciences, a maker of satellites and spacecraft. The group met again with Kosmotras and were offered one rocket for US$8 million, however, this was seen by Musk as too expensive; Musk consequently stormed out of the meeting. On the flight back from Moscow, Musk realized that he could start a company that could build the affordable rockets he needed. According to early Tesla and SpaceX investor Steve Jurvetson, Musk calculated that the raw materials for building a rocket actually were only 3 percent of the sales price of a rocket at the time.

It was concluded that theoretically, by applying vertical integration and the modular approach from software engineering, SpaceX could cut launch price by a factor of ten and still enjoy a 70-percent gross margin. Ultimately, Musk ended up founding SpaceX with the long-term goal of creating a “true spacefaring civilization”.

With US$100 million of his early fortune, Musk founded Space Exploration Technologies, or SpaceX, in May 2002.

Musk is chief executive officer (CEO) and chief technology officer (CTO) of the Hawthorne, California-based company. SpaceX develops and manufactures space launch vehicles with a focus on advancing the state of rocket technology. The company’s first two launch vehicles are the Falcon 1 and Falcon 9 rockets (a nod to Star Wars’ Millennium Falcon), and its first spacecraft is the Dragon (a nod to Puff the Magic Dragon).

In seven years, SpaceX designed the family of Falcon launch vehicles and the Dragon multipurpose spacecraft. In September 2008, SpaceX’s Falcon 1 rocket became the first privately funded liquid-fueled vehicle to put a satellite into Earth orbit.

On May 25, 2012, the SpaceX Dragon vehicle berthed with the ISS, making history as the first commercial company to launch and berth a vehicle to the International Space Station.

FBI Investigated Trump Campaign Foreign Policy Adviser Walid Phares

This is a scandal along the same lines as the framing of General Michael Flynn. The investigation of Walid Phares was absolutely uncalled for. Every foreign policy adviser has relationships with people in other countries, especially in countries that are allied with the United States. This is yet more evidence that the FBI is irredeemably corrupt and thoroughly politicized after eight years of Obama. It should be shuttered, and a completely new intelligence agency established, if a new one is even needed given the fact that so many others already exist today.

“F.B.I. Once Investigated Trump Campaign Adviser’s Ties to Egypt,” by Adam Goldman and Michael S. Schmidt, New York Times, May 28, 2020

WASHINGTON — The F.B.I. and the special counsel’s office investigated whether a former Trump campaign adviser secretly worked for the Egyptian government to influence the incoming administration in the months before President Trump took office, according to several people familiar with the inquiry.

The former adviser, Walid Phares, was one of five Trump campaign aides investigated over their ties to foreign countries. Robert S. Mueller III took over the investigations after he was appointed special counsel in May 2017.

The decision to investigate Mr. Phares was based on highly classified information, the people said. Investigators examined the matter for months but ultimately brought no charges.

Though Mr. Mueller’s primary mandate was to examine Russia’s covert operation to sabotage the election and whether any Trump associates conspired, several Trump campaign advisers and transition team members elicited concerns at the F.B.I. because of their overseas contacts and the possibility that a variety of foreign governments might have been trying to secretly use the advisers to advance their agendas.

Mr. Phares declined to comment, as did a Justice Department spokeswoman….

PODCAST: Everything You Know Is Wrong

Years ago, the Firesign Theater comedy troupe recorded an album entitled “Everything You Know is Wrong” (Yes, I am a fan and still have the original LP). This particular album was a satire of New Age beliefs whereby they contend everything we have learned is absolutely wrong and we are all being intentionally misled. Large or small, everything we know is wrong; e.g., that the south won the Civil War, that the Aztecs invented the vacation, etc. It’s a very entertaining album which Firesign fans know well.

As I grow older I get the uneasy feeling everything I’ve learned to date is wrong. It’s hard to describe, but it is a very frustrating feeling and leaves you somewhat bewildered. Let me give you some examples…

I was brought up to believe if you worked hard, and kept your nose clean, everything would work out for you; that your company would keep your best interests at heart and, in the long run, you’ll do just fine. As we all know, there is no such thing as corporate loyalty anymore and, in this dog-eat-dog world, trouble somehow seems to find us, regardless of how honest and forthright we try to lead our lives. Further, it seems unscrupulous cheating and dishonesty is rewarded as opposed to punished. “Quick and dirty” solutions also seem to be preferred over craftsmanship and quality. Instead of getting to the root of a problem, we only address its symptoms for the sake of brevity. In other words, facade is preferred over substance.

I was also taught you should pay your bills on time, and avoid incurring debt which would be difficult to pay back. Now it seems “take the money and run” is the modus operandi of a lot of people, businesses, and government. Between our lenient bankruptcy laws and our inclination to spend, people are taught not to pay their bills. After all, someone else will take care of it for you, right? This also gives me the uneasy feeling that perhaps my money is not my own, even though I worked hard to earn it.

As I was growing up I was taught everyone should be treated fairly; to give each person the benefit of a doubt until proven otherwise; that it was also important to be responsible, and your word was your bond. However, it seems morality is not currently in vogue and notions such as honor and principles are politically incorrect.

Finally, in grade school I was taught the United States was a great country we should all take pride in, and that government was a servant of the people, not the other way around. Boy, I guess I really got this one wrong.

It’s a bit disheartening to realize what you thought was right is wrong, and vice versa. That two plus two no longer equals four anymore. It’s all very confusing. Then again, perhaps it’s not my age that caused this epiphany, but maybe I’m sensing nothing more than changes in our culture. If, in fact, everything I learned is wrong, I sure hope I come down with a bad case of Alzheimer’s Disease soon so I can blot all of this out.

It is disturbing to discover the world described in Firesign Theater’s album makes more sense than the real world.

Keep the Faith!

P.S. – Also, I have a NEW book, “Before You Vote: Know How Your Government Works”, What American youth should know about government, available in Printed, PDF and eBook form. DON’T FORGET GRADUATION DAY. This is the perfect gift!

Trump: ‘Angry Mob’ Must Not Drown Out ‘Righteous Cries of Peaceful Protesters’

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1267609190140436481

President Donald Trump announced the deployment of the military to help quell the violent riots in Washington, D.C., and said he would send federal troops to states to restore order if governors didn’t act.

“What happened in this city last night was a total disgrace,” Trump announced Monday evening in the Rose Garden, referring to the weekend riots in the nation’s capital. “As we speak, I am dispatching thousands and thousands of heavily armed soldiers, military personnel, and law enforcement officers to stop the rioting, looting, vandalism, assaults, and the wanton destruction of property.”

The president also spoke about the need for justice after the police killing of George Floyd, 46, during his arrest in Minneapolis on Memorial Day evening.

In response to Floyd’s death, peaceful protests in Minneapolis turned to violent riots, which spread across the United States, even as peaceful protests also continued.

In these trying times, we must turn to the greatest document in the history of the world to promise freedom and opportunity to its citizens for guidance. Find out more now >>

“All Americans were rightly sickened and revolted by the brutal death of George Floyd,” said Trump, who spoke last week with Floyd’s family members. “My administration is committed that for George Floyd and his family, justice will be served. He will not have died in vain.”

However, he emphasized that violent riots did not honor Floyd’s memory.

“We cannot allow the righteous cries of peaceful protesters to be drowned out by an angry mob,” Trump said.

Last week, Trump said the Justice Department initiated a federal investigation into the death of Floyd, who died after Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin put his knee on Floyd’s neck for nine minutes.  Chauvin, fired Tuesday, was charged Friday with third-degree murder and manslaughter.

Shortly after the remarks in the Rose Garden, Trump walked to St. John’s Episcopal Church, a historic church near the White House that was partially burned during riots over the weekend.

“We are ending the riots and lawlessness that has spread throughout our country. We will end it now,” Trump said before departing the White House for the church. “I have strongly recommended to every governor to deploy the National Guard in sufficient numbers that we dominate the streets.”

He later added: “If a city or state refuses to take the actions that are necessary to defend the life and property of their residents, then I will deploy the United States military and quickly solve the problem for them.”

Using the military for domestic order is rare. But a president can use the power under the Insurrection Act of 1807 to send federal troops to respond to domestic emergencies even against the wishes of a state’s government.

“The biggest victims of the rioting are peace-loving citizens in our poorest communities,” Trump said. “As your president, I will fight to keep them safe. I will fight to protect you. I’m your president of law and order and an ally of all peaceful protesters.”

He continued:

But, in recent days, our nation has been gripped by professional anarchists, violent mobs, arsonists, looters, criminals, rioters, Antifa, and others. …

Innocent people have been left savagely beaten, like the young man in Dallas, Texas, who was left dying on the street, or the woman in upstate New York, viciously attacked by dangerous thugs. Small business owners have seen their dreams utterly destroyed. New York’s finest have been hit in the face with bricks. Brave nurses who have battled the [coronavirus] are afraid to leave their homes.

A police precinct has been overrun. Here in the nation’s capital, the Lincoln Memorial and the World War II Memorial have been vandalized. One of our most historic churches was set ablaze. A federal officer in California—an African American enforcement hero—was shot and killed. These are not acts of peaceful protests. These are acts of domestic terror.

Trump stressed that rioters would face consequences.

“I want the organizers of this terror to be on notice that you will face severe criminal penalties and lengthy sentences in jail,” Trump said. “This includes Antifa and others who are leading instigators of this violence.”

RAIR EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: It’s time to take the Democratic Socialists of America very seriously

RAIR Foundation USA has compiled a startling collection of statements made by Marxists – including elected officials, union leaders and powerful international communists – during the Democratic Socialists of America’s (DSA) biennial convention earlier this month in Atlanta, Georgia. The Convention’s revealing slogan “A World to Win” is indicative of their ongoing “open borders” and “internationalist” objectives as highlighted in their priorities.

Unsure of DSA’s influence?

Consider that DSA:

  • DSA has two card-carrying members in Congress (Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and Rashida Tlaib);
  • Boasts 94 members in elected office across America (up from “over 75” in April) (this does not include their allies in Congress);
  • DSA set their priorities for their 56,000 members during the convention. Included in the chilling list was a commitment to form alliances with international communist organizations, Cuba Solidarity, a focus on Medicare for All (single payer), Open Borders, Reparations, Green New Deal, pressure tactics that can be employed against Bernie Sanders should he be elected (and electoral strategy in general), and creation of “Working Groups” for Boycott, Divest, Sanctions (BDS), Antifa and “police and prison abolition” to name just some.

The resolutions passed at their convention include dismantling the private property market, solidarity with communist Cuba, abolishment of all police and prisons, complete open borders and amnesty for all illegal aliens, and commitment to ‘anti-fascism,’ or Antifa.

PODCAST: Riots in America — Why is the Fuse So Short?

As most Americans look on in horror as their cities burn and police, regular civilians and business owners are attacked during riots, we must ask: Why is the fuse so short in America?

Listen to Clarion Project’s editor Meira Svirsky try to make sense of the situation and offer suggestions of what each of us can do to try to turn it around:

Clarion Podcasts · 2020 Riots In America

Extremists in America (and outside the country) — from Antifa to white supremacists to Islamist radicals — thrive on the chaos created by every new upheaval. This time it’s the riots which are driving extremist groups to foster chaos. Even the mullahs in Iran are watching the situation closely and planning to capitalize on the
riots.

Already a number of months ago, Hassan Rahimpour Azghadi, a member of Iran’s Supreme Council for Cultural Revolution, said,

“We have to make our presence felt in the conflicts in America that involve blacks and people of color. There is fertile ground for this … America is the kind of country that will disintegrate quickly … There are layers of hatred, alienation and estrangement there … We need to send out several thousands of surplus people [to do this].

Watch Clarion Project’s national security analyst and Shillman Fellow Ryan Mauro peg the “War of the Extremes” and find out how what you can do to counter extremist ideologies:
