WASHINGTON — The White House unveiled a nearly $40 billion supplemental funding request on Thursday to provide additional aid to Ukraine and respond to natural disasters, including wildland firefighter pay and border management.

The White House is seeking $12 billion for ongoing disaster relief, $60 million to cover pay increases for firefighters and $3.9 billion to address border and migration issues.

The request came as federal agencies, led by FEMA, mobilized to respond to deadly wildfires in Hawaii that already claimed three dozen lives. President Joe Biden said FEMA administrator Deanne Criswell would be on Maui by Friday, but he warned the danger is “not over yet.”

Biden’s request also seeks over $24 billion in additional funding for Ukraine’s slow-moving defense against Russia’s illegal invasion.

J6 Committee Destroyed Key Records, Proving the Whole Thing Was Fixed From the Start

It is by now abundantly clear that the Jan. 6 “insurrection” was not the work of Trump supporters, but of Leftist plants in the crowd at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, directed by feds who were avid to frame and destroy Trump. Any lingering doubt about this has now been put definitively to rest by the revelation that the self-righteous apparatchiks who ran the House Jan. 6 Committee show trial did not preserve mountains of evidence that apparently disproved the left’s official narrative about what happened on that fateful day. Like the Stalinists they are, it looks as if they framed their enemies and then destroyed the evidence of their own crime.

Fox News reported Tuesday that “the House select committee that investigated the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021 failed to adequately preserve documents, data and video depositions – including communications it had with the Biden White House that are still missing – according to the Republican lawmaker overseeing the GOP investigation into the committee’s work.”

Now one would think that a committee that was so ostentatious about its own virtue in hunting down the left’s bête noire, Donald Trump, would have been scrupulous in the extreme about preserving all the relevant evidence, so as to prove forever to skeptics and MAGA holdouts that the evil Orange Man did indeed try to stir up his witless redneck minions to overthrow the government and install him as a dictator, right? Yet instead, the J6 committee was at best cavalier about preserving the evidence, and at worst, worked actively to destroy it.

What’s more, Fox notes that the committee “has also failed to provide any evidence that it looked into Capitol Hill security failures on the day of the riot.” Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.) “said his staff has had difficulty gathering all the information it needs to investigate Rep. Bennie Thompson’s handling of the J6 investigation.” Loudermilk added: “Part of our task as this oversight subcommittee is to actually address the security failures, look into how did it happen… how were these folks able to get into the Capitol.”

How indeed? The committee ignored video of Trump supporters actually stopping people from breaking windows at the Capitol. It likewise ignored video of DC cops going undercover into the crowd at the Capitol that day as Antifa. We still don’t know how many feds were masquerading as Trump supporters on that day. Back in April, Roger Roots, the attorney for Jan. 6 defendant Dominic Pezzola, a member of Proud Boys, filed a motion to “compel the United States to reveal all informants, undercover operatives and other Confidential Human Sources (CHSs) relating to the events of January 6.” Roots’ motion states that “witnesses first admitted there was one CHS embedded among the Proud Boys on Jan. 6. Then there were two; then there were three. Then the government stipulated on April 4 that there were 8 FBI CHSs among the Proud Boys.” And that’s just the FBI. Nor did the committee ever explain the video of police opening the Capitol doors and ushering protesters inside on that day.

In light of all that they were covering up, it’s no surprise that the committee’s documents were in disarray. Loudermilk noted that “nothing was indexed. There was no table of contents index. Usually when you conduct this level of investigation, you use a database system and everything is digitized, indexed. We got nothing like that. We just got raw data. So it took us a long time going through it and one thing I started realizing is we don’t have anything much at all from the Blue Team.” The “Blue Tea” was “the group within the J6 committee that was directed to investigate security failures at the Capitol.” Loudermilk “explained that sources have told him the Blue Team was essentially ‘shut down’ by the committee in order to focus on placing the blame on former President Trump.” Loudermilk added: “What we also realized we didn’t have was the videos of all the depositions.”

What is the committee hiding? The answer is obvious: the whole thing was a frame-up from the beginning. Trump didn’t incite or lead an insurrection, there never was any insurrection at all, and the committee knew this from the beginning, just as Alexandra Pelosi, Nancy Pelosi’s daughter, knew it when she admitted that the Jan. 6 protesters had “no guns, no plans,” and were “just people taking selfies.”

The Jan. 6 Committee chairman, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Frame Trump), insists that “the Select Committee was not obligated to archive all video recordings of transcribed interviews or depositions.” Not obligated. One would think the committee would have felt obligated to preserve anything, legal requirements or no, in order to avoid even the appearance of impropriety and provide abundant evidence to prove its case beyond any doubt.

Instead, the committee has proven that it was conducting a Stalinist show trial from the beginning. But with the Biden regime in power and Merrick Garland still at the helm of the “Justice” Department, this is more likely to get Thompson a commendation and plum appointment rather than any investigation, much less prosecution.

Distorting Israel’s Declaration of Independence

The focus of Israel’s Declaration of Independence is overwhelmingly on Jewish sovereignty and political independence in the ancestral Jewish homeland—not on liberal democratic governance.

The Declaration of Independence expresses a deep commitment to freedom, justice and peace in the spirit of the vision of the Biblical prophets— Yohanan Plesner, President of the Israel Democracy Institute, April 26, 2023.

One of the frequently invoked props, which the opponents of the current coalition brandish in their choreographed frenzy against anything, and all, that the Netanyahu-led government proposes, is Israel’s Declaration of Independence.

The holy grail?

For decades, the Declaration has been a rarely referenced document in the Israeli political debate, but recently, it has been rediscovered and has assumed a revered status as the holy grail of Israeli politics, allegedly embodying all the cherished values and virtues of Zionism.

According to the government’s adversaries, there is an irreconcilable divergence between the contents of the Declaration and the substance of this government’s policy initiatives—particularly the much-maligned judicial reform.

Indeed, the  Declaration featured as a prominent prop during the anti-reform demonstrations–with a huge replica being hung from the Tel Aviv municipality building. Elsewhere in the city, another large-scale copy was spread out like a giant carpet in the street.

Listening to the impassioned tirades of the anti-government agitators, one is left to puzzle over whether they have actually read the Declaration themselves or whether they are hoping that their audience has not.

Cherry-picking the Declaration

Thus, a vocal opponent of the proposed judicial reform, “Times of Israel” editor, David Horovitz, writes—accurately but misleadingly: “Our Declaration of Independence promises that the State of Israel ‘will ensure complete equality of social and political rights to all its inhabitants irrespective of religion, race or sex; it will guarantee freedom of religion, conscience, language, education and culture…’”

In similar vein. Pnina Sharvit, head of the law and national security  program at the amply funded think-tank, the Institute for National Security Studies, (INSS),  scolded: “… Israel should be extremely cautious about breaching the delicate balance between the Jewish-nationalist component and the democratic-liberal component of its essence, as enshrined in the Declaration of Independence.”

Likewise, the president of the distinctly left-leaning Israel Democracy Institute (IDI), cherrypicked words from the Declaration, asserting: “The Declaration of Independence expresses a deep commitment to freedom, justice and peace in the spirit of the vision of the Biblical prophets.”

Politicians pounce

Several Bibi-phobic opposition politicians also pounced on the Declaration in an effort to harness it to its anti-coalition purposes. Thus, Yair Lapid, with his usual superficial mindlessness, proposed that a way out of the judicial impasse would be to compose a constitution, something that has eluded Israeli leaders for almost eight decades, commencing with the Declaration of Independence, which according to him, “expressed the moral heart of the nation.”

M.K. Benny Gantz repeatedly invoked the Declaration in his regular anti-reform harangues. In one public appearance, he urged that we need to find “a new balance, to recalibrate the way we live with one another…to make us stable and share the same vision,” stipulating that Israel’s Declaration of Independence embodied that vision.

As I mentioned previously, it is difficult to know whether these anti-government Declaration enthusiasts have bothered to read the document they so fervently embrace, or whether they are merely banking on the hope that their audience has not.

After all, the focus of Israel’s Declaration of Independence is overwhelmingly on Jewish sovereignty and political independence in the ancestral Jewish homeland—not on liberal democratic governance.

Prescribing Jewish sovereignty, not liberal democracy

Indeed, the briefest content analysis of the Declaration will reveal that the word “Jew/Jewish” is mentioned over twenty times—virtually always in reference to the exercise of Jewish sovereignty, national independence, and Jewish self-determination. Likewise the term “nation/nationalism” is mentioned over ten times (not including references to the “United Nations” or “League of Nations”). On the other hand, it mentions the word “equal/equality” barely twice, exclusively in the context of civil rights, not national ones. The words “democracy/democratic” or “liberal/liberalism” do not feature at all!

The Declaration, from its very beginning, is replete with references to the historical birthplace of the Jewish people, their connection to the land, their tradition and heritage, and the Bible (“Book of Books”)—all of which are likely to be an anathema to many of the current left-leaning Bibi-phobic demonstrators, now clamoring for its adoption as the centerpiece of their professed socio-political credo.

Indeed, the leadership of the opposition may do well to study the fables of Aesop (629 BCE-584 BCE), who warned:  Be careful what you wish for, lest it come true!

Kazakh Tycoon Linked to Chechen Warlord Who Called for Jihad On U.S. Bought Hunter a Sports Car After Dining With Joe

The House Oversight Committee has revealed that in “April, Kenes Rakishev, a Kazakhstani oligarch, wired $142,300 to Rosemont Seneca Bohai. The next day, a payment was made from Rosemont Seneca Bohai for a sportscar for Hunter Biden in the amount of $142,300. Archer and Biden then arranged for Burisma executives to visit Kazakhstan in June 2014 to evaluate a three-way deal among Burisma, a Chinese state-owned company, and the government of Kazakhstan.”

This came after a meeting involving Joe Biden and figures linked to Russian and Kazahkh regimes.

In the spring of 2014, Joe joined Hunter and a handful of his business partners for dinner at Café Milano in Washington, D.C. Those at the dinner included Kenes Rakishev, Karim Massimov, Yelena Baturina and possibly Eric Schwerin.

Archer confirmed that Joe was present long enough to eat dinner with the group.

Following the dinner, $3.5 million was wired from Russian billionaire Yelena Baturina into Rosemont Seneca Thornton on February 14.

On April 22, $142,300 was wired into the Rosemont Seneca Bohai account from Kenes Rakishev, a businessman from Kazakhstan, who was also at the Café Milano dinner.

The payment was made as a gift to Hunter, who received an ‘expensive car.’

Archer told the committee: ‘I believe it was a Fisker first and then a Porsche.’

Who’s Kenes Rakishev and what might he have wanted from the Bidens? 2014 is an interesting date.

In 2014, Rakishev obtained a stake in BTA Bank from the Kazakh government, after the Kazakh dictator Nursultan Nazarbayev temporarily nationalized the bank. Nazarbayev had seized BTA Bank from Kazakhstani billionaire and pro-democracy activist Mukhtar Ablyazov, who feuded with Nazarbayev. Rakishev obtained a controlling stake in the company. The main assets of the company were its claims against Ablyazov, estimated at $6 billion

On February 14, 2014, Rakishev became the new chairman of Kazakhstan-based BTA Bank’s board of directors. The decision was made during an unscheduled meeting of the bank’s shareholders

The timing here is fairly obvious.

Joe Biden was having dinner with the banker for Kazakhstan’s dictator who was looking to recover some cash and gain international legitimacy. And that made Joe Biden kissing cousins with Putin’s Chechen strongman

Once Rakishev did get involved, Ablyazov’s own investigators found that he was working with people close to Ramzan Kadyrov, including Krotov. An Ablyazov acquaintance told reporters from The Project that Krotov played the role of someone who “could kick your ass, if needed.”

The Ablyazov acquaintance also said that the Chechens went on the attack, demanding that Ablyazov’s assets be transferred to Rakishev.

Rakishev and Kadyrov have known each other since the mid-2000s, and frequently appear in photographs together.

In a Facebook post, the Chechen leader heaped praise on Rakishev: “He helps our people a lot, he often visits me, always shares with me his joys and sorrows. He’s well-known and respected in Chechnya. The people call my BROTHER a prince.”

Chechen warlord Ramzan Kadyrov has declared the war in Ukraine to be ‘the Big Jihad’ while urging Russian Muslims to rise up and fight ‘demons’ and the forces of ‘Satanic democracy’.

‘And we will not stop. We will be killing them wherever they are. No matter who is helping them, America or Europe. There is nothing to worry about.”

Michigan State Police Discovered Widespread 2020 Voter Fraud & Turned Over Evidence to FBI—Who Apparently Did Nothing

Last evening a gentleman informed me that he believes the claims of 2020 Election Fraud were preposterous and “made-up.” Merely a conspiracy theory and Trump being a “poor sport” in losing. After two and a half years of diligent, very slow but steady and emotionally painstaking work proving otherwise, there are still those who choose to live in their self-made “comfortably numb” bubble. I think their predecessors on the Titanic were similar as they were told to leave their staterooms, prepare to board life boats and evacuate the ship. Dressed in high fashion expensive clothing, and growling at the inconvenience these similarly “comfortably numb” remained in their self-made bubbles of opinion even as they were escorted onto the main deck and saw the iceberg mountain the ship had struck which led to the giant ship already tilting downward having taken on mammoth amounts of water. They were far more interested in what would be on the breakfast menu then the reality before them.

Evidence be damned…similar to the “I’m content in my comfortable world of Marxist philosophy and/or sufficient money capable of snuffing out noise and distractions not to my taste” predecessors, the self-absorbed non critical thinkers of today just cannot be bothered examining evidence, their minds are already set or dulled or both! Furthermore their life-styles have not been terribly altered…yet! With less funds and positions of comfort a large number of the younger generation who have been indoctrinated via the school and college systems are, likewise, simply not able to critically think their way through the mounting evidence of planned deterioration our country is experiencing.

A preponderant number of elected officials in public office and candidates seeking such positions have conveniently loss what our founders established and demonstrated in their own lives – Service above Self. It is no longer relevant to place God and Country above or before self when seeking or holding public office. Self-made agendas leading to higher positions is the game. Defending the principles and foundational beliefs of our exceptional nation are no longer proper; or worse, they are racist or some other derogatory term. America may not die from bullets or bombs but be destroyed from within by those who have chosen to alter and abolish our country to serve their own means, their own agendas, their own pride and prejudice. America may very likely survive from patriots, even a remnant, who in their heart believe and are willing to stand, be counted, terribly abused and slandered defending the principles and foundational beliefs of our exceptional nation. Members of the Michigan State Police are such an example.

After two and a half years of diligent, very slow and emotionally painstaking work, there are remnant patriots across our Land still fighting the good fight. Fighting to prove the 2020 Election (2022 Election as well) was a diabolical deception, corrupted financially and otherwise, fraud, even a conspiracy to destroy the basic gift our founders presented to us if we would only hold on to it; the gift of free and unencumbered elections. For those comfortably numb in their bubble simply move on nothing to see, nothing to learn. Michigan State Police Discover Widespread 2020 Voter Fraud and Turn Over Evidence to FBI – Who Apparently Did Nothing

Stunning discovery being shared by Gateway Pundit about a network of massive ballot fraud and voter registration fraud in Michigan as a result of a city clerk notifying local police.  The investigation uncovered a multi-state voter registration operation and the details within the state police report are quite remarkable.

(Gateway Pundit) […] On October 8, 2020. only one month before the 2020 general election, Muskegon, MI City Clerk Ann Meisch noticed a black female (whose name was redacted from the police report), dropping off between 8,000-10,000 completed voter registration applications at the city clerk’s office.

The Muskegon Police Department was contacted and asked to investigate. On 10/21/20 First Lieutenant Mike Anderson was contacted by Tom Fabus, Chief of Investigations for Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel’s Office. According to the MI State Police report, Mr. Fabus asked for Michigan State Police assistance with a joint investigation of alleged voter fraud being conducted by the Muskegon Police Department and the AG.   An investigative task force was formed, and an investigation was initiated. Rep. Greg Steube Files Articles Of Impeachment Against Joe Biden

Republican Florida Rep. Greg Steube filed articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden on Friday.

The Daily Caller obtained the resolution, which lists Bribery, Extortion, Obstruction of justice, Fraud and Financial involvement in drugs & prostitution as reasons to impeach Biden.

“It’s long past time to impeach Joe Biden,” Steube said in a statement after introducing the resolution. “He has undermined the integrity of his office, brought disrepute on the Presidency, betrayed his trust as President, and acted in a manner subversive of the rule of law and justice at the expense of America’s citizens. The evidence continues to mount by the day – the Biden Crime Family has personally profited off Joe’s government positions through bribery, threats, and fraud. Joe Biden must not be allowed to continue to sit in the White House, selling out our country.”

Article 1 states: “Robert Hunter Biden (Hunter Biden) and James Biden sold access to then Vice President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. (Joe Biden) while he was in office from 2009 to 2017 and sold promised access to a future Biden Presidential Administration while he was out of office from 2017 to 2021. Hunter and James appear to have promised official actions by Joe Biden in return for payments and business opportunities from foreign and domestic business partners. Joe Biden assisted by making appearances, phone calls, meeting with the ‘business partners,’ and knowingly allowing his family members to promise access to him and actions by him in furtherance of these schemes. Hunter Biden threatened business partners that official actions could be taken against them if they did not meet terms or make payments. In at least one instance, Hunter implied that Joe Biden was aware of these threats and willing to assist in enforcing the threats, potentially through official actions. Hunter Biden attempted to enrich himself and the Biden family by threatening official actions from his father, who he claims was willing to assist in the scheme. American Students Are Now Absent At Record Rates After Missing Months Of Classroom Instruction During The Pandemic

American students have been missing class at record rates following the COVID-19 pandemic, which kept them from in-person learning for months, according to a Friday report from Stanford University education professor Thomas Dee in partnership with The Associated Press.

More than 25% of students missed at least 10% of classes during the 2021-2022 school year, totaling an estimated 6.5 million students who have become chronically absent, according to Dee’s report. Prior to the pandemic, just 15% of students were missing the same amount of school.

“The long-term consequences of disengaging from school are devastating. And the pandemic has absolutely made things worse and for more students,” Hedy Chang, executive director of Attendance Works, a nonprofit that focuses on addressing chronic absenteeism, told the AP.

Students in Alaska, New Mexico and Washington D.C. were the most chronically absent; in Alaska, nearly 50% of students were not showing up to class and in New Mexico, about 40% of students were chronically absent, the report shows. At least 48% of students were chronically absent in Washington D.C. during the 2021-2022 school year.

The rate of chronically absent kids has doubled in at least seven states from the 2018-2019 to the 2021-2022 school year, according to the report.

Every state with available data saw an increase in chronic absenteeism during the 2021-2022 school year, the report found. The increase in chronically absent students had no correlation to the rate of COVID-19 cases.

Though most states have not released their chronic absenteeism numbers from the 2022-2023 school year, some states are reporting that the problem has not been alleviated, according to the AP. In Connecticut and Massachusetts, chronic absenteeism numbers remained double than what they were prior to the pandemic.

As states struggle to address chronic absenteeism numbers, the nation’s students are suffering massive learning loss; civics test scores saw their first-ever drop in the subject area and just 13% of eighth graders’ tested proficiently in U.S. history in 2022. Following the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022, the country also saw math scores decline for the first time.

‘Inflation Tax’ Is Higher Than Federal Income Tax

Americans are paying far more to offset the costs of inflation since President Joe Biden took office than they pay toward federal income taxes, according to data calculated by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Average hourly earnings rose from $33.60 per hour in June to $33.74 per hour in July, but when adjusted for inflation since the beginning of Biden’s term as president in January 2021, real wages have failed to keep up, resulting in $4.62 less per hour when adjusted, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and calculated by E.J. Antoni, a research fellow at the Heritage Foundation’s Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget. At the average hourly rate for Americans of $33.60, workers pay $3.08 per hour in federal income taxes, far less than what inflation has cost the average worker, according to data calculated by the DCNF.

“Bidenomics can be defined by government spending, borrowing, and printing too much money,” Antoni told the DCNF. “That’s also the recipe for inflation, so the Biden administration’s policies are directly to blame for the inflation tax, a clear violation of Mr. Biden’s promise not to raise taxes on those making less than $400,000 a year.”

“But this is ultimately about policy, and not politics,” Antoni continued. “Plenty of congressional Republicans voted for excessive spending over the last three years and must share some of the blame for our current stagflation. Notwithstanding that fact, Biden is clearly the bigger sinner here, constantly pushing for more spending and driving the nation’s finances into the ground.”

Inflation rose to 3.2% year-over-year in July, up from 3.0% in June after steadily declining from a high of 9.1% in June 2022. The largest contributor to that increase was shelter, which rose 0.4% for the month of July, totaling 90% of the increase in inflation.

“The Federal Reserve, which plans and executes US monetary policy, is responsible for the destruction of real wages since 2020,” Peter Earle, economist at the American Institute for Economic Research, told the DCNF. “The Federal Reserve’s massively expansionary policies throughout 2020 had far-reaching consequences. The winnowing of the dollar’s purchasing power is being felt by every citizen, but hits the poor and individuals on a fixed income far worse than most others.”

The Federal Reserve hiked its federal funds rate for the eleventh time since March 2022 in July, bringing the target rate within a range of 5.25% and 5.50%, the highest rate since 2001. Following the rate hike at the Federal Open Market Committee meeting, Fed Chair Jerome Powell remarked that inflation will not return to the target rate of 2% until 2025.

“Inflation is fundamentally a tax because it is a transfer of wealth from you to the government,” Antoni told the DCNF. “You continue paying that inflation tax until your wages catch up to inflation. At that point, your cumulative lost purchasing power will be equal to how much the government implicitly confiscated from you through inflation.”

Why Prostitution is Not ‘Sex Work’

Since the 1970s, a tactical and politically driven agenda has been advanced to promote the global sex trade. This agenda has rested on the reframing of prostitution along two seemingly disparate lines, one being the promotion of prostitution as ordinary work, and the other being the promotion of prostituted people as a sexual minority. Although powerful interest groups have expended a great deal of energy and finance in shifting public opinion on both these points, the reality is that neither of these things are true.

Prostitution is neither sex nor work. 

Why Prostitution is Not “Sex”

Sex is a mutual exchange of pleasure, whether it happens within the context of a loving and committed relationship, a brief encounter between strangers, or anything on the spectrum in between. Sexuality is something which is shared in a spirit of mutuality. It is not something ever forced, bought, duped, bullied or coerced.

Pressure, intimidation and compulsion do not happen where mutuality exists, but they happen where ‘consent’ does every day. That is why consent is not a good divining rod for healthy sexuality. The presence or absence of mutuality is the determining factor in a psychologically and emotionally healthy sexual exchange, not consent. 

Mutuality is absent in the context of prostitution. There is none of the sexual giving and receiving that constitutes the reciprocity inherent to a mutually willing sexual exchange. Instead, sexually unwilling and uninterested people (usually female), submit to unwanted sex demanded by other people (almost always male), every day, usually multiples times per day, and because this unwanted sex is actively solicited, it is defined as consensual. The word ‘consent’ therefore creates an illusion; it is a linguistic tool that misrepresents sexual abuse as sex. It is espoused by liberal feminists and other progressives who either don’t know or don’t care to know that they’re endorsing sexual abuse on an industrial scale.

We must hold firm the distinction between sex and sexual abuse, and the clearest way to do it is to hold firm the distinction between consent and mutuality. ‘Consent’ exists in prostitution, and in numerous other human rights violations, if capitulation out of desperation is synonymous with consent; but mutuality does not exist in prostituted sex, and prostituted sex is antithetical to a spirit of mutuality. Mutuality, then, as a concept, reveals the reality of prostitutions unwilling nature. Prostitution does not constitute sex any more than rape does, because in both cases sex is brought about by factors devoid of mutuality.

Given prostitution doesn’t constitute mutual sex, it is an absurdity to assign prostituted people the status of a sexual minority. It is, however, a very calculated absurdity. It is also an egregious and indefensible cruelty, considering the decades of research that correlate childhood sexual abuse with prostitution.

Why Prostitution is Not “Work”

Not every activity which is compensated should be dignified by the terms ‘employment’ and ‘work.’ We see and accept this when we’re talking about human rights violations elsewhere, in sweat shops for example. When we examine prostitution however, we see that, unlike sweat shops, it is not the conditions of the ‘labour’ which renders it unviable employment, but every aspect of what passes for labour and, beyond that, the very structure of the framework within which it occurs. Prostitution, as an institution, is abusive in and of itself.

Safe working conditions are integral to any form of employment, but given the very essence of prostitution – not just its conditions of operation or any of the external circumstances that affect it, such as legislation – is harmful in a multitude of ways, prostitution is an irredeemable form of exploitation and in no meaningful way comparable to actual work.

Prostitution does not function like employment on any axis beyond the compensation involved, and even then, it functions very differently. A prostituted person does not enjoy any career progression. Quite the opposite is true. The more experienced a person is in prostitution, the less they are valued and the less they are paid.

A person in actual employment will have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience over the course of twenty years, and be compensated accordingly – a person in prostitution will also have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience, and be considered very close to worthless because of it. A person in actual employment for thirty years will be at the head of their division, or organisation, and often be getting ready to retire with a comfortable and secure pension – a person thirty years in prostitution will be considered utterly worthless and be left bereft, unable to feed themselves. Prostitution operates unlike any actual form of employment at every stage, including its miserable conclusion.

The presentation of prostitution as normal, ordinary employment aligns with the ideological convictions of far-left voices who’ll never have to live it, and it serves the interests of the pimping and trafficking gangs that massively profit from it, but it contributes absolutely nothing of value to the lives of those caught in systems of prostitution worldwide.

There are those heavily invested in presenting prostitution as a matter of sexuality, in order that it can be presented as a matter of sexual freedom and aligned with the rights of sexual minorities. The same people will frame the incongruent argument that prostitution shouldn’t even bear its own name – that it’s valid and acceptable employment and ought to be known as ‘sex work.’ In reality, prostitution is neither sex nor work, much less both at the same time.

13 Fallen Soldiers ‘Have More Integrity in Their Little Toes’ than This Administration: Parents

At a forum hosted by Representative Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) on Monday, Gold Star families of the fallen servicemen in Afghanistan had a public platform to testify. Since the suicide bombing at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, killing 13 U.S. servicemembers, the families have sought accountability and clarity regarding the disorderly withdrawal of American troops from the Taliban-infested country.

“To say it’s time to move on and there’s nothing more to be said as to the planning and the execution of how our country wrapped a two-decade war, is an insult to all of us,” said Alicia Lopez, mother of fallen Marine Hunter Lopez.

Sensing that the families of the fallen had not been provided an opportunity to speak publicly, Issa devoted time at the Escondido City Hall for loved ones to seek answers regarding the catastrophic events that occurred nearly two years ago.

Before the emotional testimonies began, Issa assured families that this was “their day” and that they would be heard. Although he noted a particular order that “people believe we should go in,” he decided to open the floor to family members to speak whenever they felt comfortable.

After the father of fallen Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Darin T. Hoover thanked Issa and those in attendance for listening to “the hurt, the anger, and the anguish that we feel for our children,” he expressed his frustration with the Biden administration regarding the bombing as a whole. He called for Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, General Mark Milley, General Kenneth McKenzie, Lieutenant Colonel Whitehead, and President Joe Biden to “do what our son did: Be a grown a– man.”

Hoover also attacked the administration’s character in the whole fiasco. “You all need to resign immediately,” he urged. “Our sons and daughters have more integrity in their little toes than every one of them combined.”

Hoover’s comments were made shortly after Biden “insisted he made no mistakes” regarding the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan last Friday. U.S. Army experts disagree.

“The withdrawal of U.S. Forces and the evacuation of non-combatants from Afghanistan in 2021 is one of the greatest foreign policy failures in U.S. history,” Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. Boykin told The Washington Stand. “President Biden ignored the advice of several of his advisors who warned against letting a timeline drive the activities of the operation on the ground. That is incompetence and demands accountability starting at the White House.”

According to the mother of 20-year-old fallen Marine Dylan R. Merola, Cheryl Rex, there’s been no accountability in this White House. The grieving mother briefed the room about her encounter with President Biden nearly 24 hours after the tragedy.

Rex first shared that the president’s words of comfort included a comparison of his own feelings when he lost his son to cancer.

“[I wondered] how someone could honestly be so heartless to say he knew how I felt a little over 24 hours after learning of my son’s death,” Rex shared. “After this encounter, I have never had any personal correspondence nor has my son been honored or his name spoken by this commander-in-chief or his administration on what I feel is because of their failure and poor planning to exit our troops from Afghanistan.”

Rex continued by stating she believed the media — along with the Biden administration — had been covering up vital facts regarding the bombing. In January, she realized, “everything, even the way my son died, is being covered up.”

From her conversations with other Marines, she learned that the incident at Abbey Gate “was a complex attack, not just a single suicide bombing.” After her social media accounts were silenced and her son’s name hardly mentioned, Rex knew she “was being targeted and shut down publicly by media outlets.”

“The lies that were told to most of those grieving families violate every standard of conduct and leadership and should trigger the resignation of those who were responsible,” said Boykin. But then, as the general told “Washington Watch” guest host and former Congressman Jody Hice, “This president has a very long history of lying to people — especially to the American people — that he was sworn to support and defend. I find that to be one of the most disgusting things. And I will tell you … [this] administration does not care about their soldiers. And the administration does not understand how critical they are to our security.”

“[W]hat we’re seeing right now,” Boykin continued, “is the demise of our military. When you see stuff like that, and you reflect on it for just a moment, you realize we need a commander-in-chief that not only cares about our soldiers, our sailors, our airmen, and our Coast Guardsmen, but will do what is right by them to make sure that when the time comes to go to war, they’re ready to go to war and win. And all of this woke nonsense that we’re getting out of this administration is doing nothing but bringing us down. Keeping us from being ready to go to war.”

Although not all of the family’s questions have been answered, Issa vowed that progress would be made.

“It is not new for there to be military mistakes,” the congressman conceded. “But it is in fact a tradition that investigations don’t end until every question has been answered,” he said. “There are many, many questions … that have been asked that we will get to the bottom of.”

Until then, Freedom Alliance’s Tom Kilgannon reminded viewers, these families are dealing with tremendous emotional trauma “inflicted by this administration.” “It is unforgiveable. So we need to pray that they have the strength to carry this cross, to bear this burden, to be able to forgive, and to be able to honor their loved ones as time goes on.”

Time to Stop World Control and it’s Criminal Power Structure

Interest Rate Hikes Fail To Pump The Brakes As Inflation Rises

Inflation rose in July after steadily declining from a high of 9.1% in June 2022, according to the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) release on Thursday.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI), a broad measure of the prices of everyday goods like energy and food, increased 3.2% on an annual basis in July, compared to 3.0% in June, according to the BLS. Core CPI, which excludes the volatile categories of energy and food, remained high, rising 4.7% year-over-year in July, compared to 4.8% in June.

“Inflation has become much more ingrained in the economy than the White House, Congress, or the Fed want to admit,” E.J. Antoni, a research fellow at the Heritage Foundation’s Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Combined with slowing economic growth, we have the perfect recipe for stagflation.”

The largest contributor to the increase was shelter, which rose 0.4% for the month of July and contributed to over 90% of the total increase in inflation, according to the BLS.

The Federal Reserve, in an attempt to slow inflation, raised interest rates for the 11th time since March 2022 in July, bringing the Fed’s federal funds target rate within a range of 5.25% and 5.50%. The rate is the highest since 2001.

Fed Chair Jerome Powell remarked after the July Federal Open Market Committee meeting that he did not believe that the inflation rate would return to the normal level of 2% until 2025. He noted that interest rates will be lowered before the inflation rate reaches that level.

“I think Powell is right when he says inflation will not return to 2 percent until 2025,” Antoni told the DCNF. “The Fed under his chairmanship simply doesn’t happen the stomach to fight inflation. Given today’s interest rates and current economic conditions, the Fed’s balance sheet is about $5.3 trillion too big. Powell lacks the will to sell off that much in assets.”

The U.S. added 187,000 jobs for the month of July, 13,000 fewer than economists expected, and the unemployment rate fell to 3.5%. The number of jobs for the months of June and May was revised down by a cumulative 49,000 jobs.

The U.S. economy grew at a rate of 2.4% in the second quarter of 2023, surprising economists who anticipated a more modest expansion of 2%.

On Tuesday, I joined “The Charlie Kirk Show,” where I discussed how House Republicans could allow President Trump to act as a whistleblower as to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s political witch hunt.

Current law authorizes a congressional committee or subcommittee to provide witnesses with immunity from criminal prosecution related to information given in testimony before such committee or subcommittee. One way House Republicans could fight back against Special Counsel Smith’s political indictment would be for the House Judiciary Committee or its Crime Subcommittee to issue a subpoena to President Trump granting him immunity for his testimony about the abuse of the criminal process. Congress has legitimate oversight interests in an election-interference operation, and President Trump could be the ultimate whistleblower. [Emphasis added]
