Virginia Tech Football Player who Murdered Tinder ‘Date’ Treated Like Victim

Described by his attorney as a “soft spoken young man” you would think that Ismemen David Etute was the victim not the white apparently gay or trans restaurant worker whose head was smashed and was left “bubbling and gurgling” to die.This story is all over the place and generally told in such a way as to make Isi Etute a 6’3, 205 pound linebacker look like the victim who claims he thought he was meeting with a woman for a second sexual encounter.

Feeling duped, he (understandably?) used his physical power to allegedly beat the man to death.

(I spent some time, searching to see if Etute’s family came to America as refugees (using a secret decoder ring!) but found no reference to his family’s immigration status. I did find many stories about Etute as an up and comer football player and a good catch for Virginia Tech.)

CHRISTIANSBURG — A now suspended Virginia Tech football player told police he punched a sexual partner five times in the face and stomped on him after discovering the person he thought was a woman was actually a man, according to arguments presented Wednesday in a Montgomery County courtroom.

According to the autopsy, all the bones in Blacksburg resident Jerry Paul Smith’s face were broken, his teeth were missing and he had multiple cranial fractures. The medical examiner’s office had previously revealed that Smith had died from blunt force trauma to the head.

Ismemen David Etute of Virginia Beach was arrested and charged with second-degree murder June 2 in the death of Smith, a Blacksburg restaurant worker.

Etute was granted bond in a hearing Wednesday morning in Montgomery County General District Court, but Chief Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney Patrick Jensen filed an expedited appeal that would have kept Etute in jail for up to five more days.

The two sides later Wednesday came to an agreement to release Etute on a $75,000 secured bond under house arrest and electronic monitoring, according to a release put out by Commonwealth’s Attorney Mary Pettitt. The order restricts Etute from returning to Montgomery County except to consult with his attorney or to attend court proceedings.

The courtroom was packed as Judge Randal Duncan excluded cameras from the courtroom at the start of the proceeding. Smith’s family was in attendance. More than a dozen football players — most of them clad in Virginia Tech gear — were there in support of Etute.

Etute was somehow tricked by Smith when it was his second visit to Smith’s apartment?

According to those statements, Etute visited the victim’s apartment April 10 for oral sex after he was matched up with someone named “Angie” on Tinder. Etute returned to the apartment May 31 to engage in sexual activity and discovered the person he was matched up with was a man, according to summaries of the evidence made by both Morgan and defense attorney Jimmy Turk.

Etute also told police that Smith did not assault him.

Etute told the police he punched the victim five times in the face and continued punching the victim when the person hit the ground and “stomped” on him. He heard “bubbling and gurgling” as he left the apartment, but didn’t call the police.

The case gets complicated when two groups who often consider themselves discriminated against in the political victimhood game face each other.

They are pretty angry that the alleged killer is being treated like the victim because he was somehow (justifiably?) angry at supposedly learning he wasn’t soliciting sex from a woman.

Etute, a freshman on Virginia Tech’s football team until his arrest, at which point he was suspended, faces a second-degree murder charge.

In the courtroom, defense attorney Jimmy Turk of Radford said that Smith had solicited Etute for sex. After the hearing, Turk said, “Nobody deserves to die, but I don’t mind saying, don’t pretend you are something that you are not. Don’t target or lure anyone under that perception. That’s just wrong.”

Last week, a spokesperson for Smith’s family described him as a proud, openly gay man.

Turk’s remarks prompted waves of comments online and elsewhere.

Samantha Rosenthal, associate professor of history at Roanoke College and co-founder of the Southwest Virginia LGBTQ+ History Project, wrote in an email Thursday: “Regardless of the victim’s gender identity, the comments by Etute’s attorney demonstrate that the defense intends to use transness as an issue in this case. There is unfortunately a long history of framing transgender people as inherently deceptive or untruthful about their identities.

Roanoke City Council member Joe Cobb, who identifies as a member of the region’s LGBT community, had similar thoughts, saying the larger picture was of how LGBTQ people are seen by the wider society and often have been blamed for crimes in which they were the victims.

“That’s discrimination,” Cobb said.

Calling Smith’s death “horrific,” Cobb said that though many details remain unknown, the part that stood out to him was that it involved two consenting adults who had already had one sexual encounter.

This will be a trial to watch if it ever comes to that!

In the meantime, I still want to know if the Etutes are ‘New Americans,’ which I suspect they are.

Russian President Vladimir Putin had laudatory words for President Trump, whom he praised as an “extraordinary individual,” and only a bland comment on President Biden, who he called a “career man” in politics.

But Putin also said he doesn’t expect any “impulsed-based movements” out of the plainer man, Biden.

“I believe that former U. S. president Mr. Trump is an extraordinary individual, talented individual, otherwise he would not have become U.S. President,” Putin told NBC News in his first interview with a U.S. news network since 2018. “He is a colorful individual. You may like him or not. And, but he didn’t come from the U.S. establishment, he had not been part of big-time politics before, and some like it some don’t like it but that is a fact.”

An excerpt from the interview appeared Friday on NBC’s Nightly News with Lester Holt.

Biden, meanwhile, “is radically different from Trump because President Biden is a career man. He has spent virtually his entire adulthood in politics,” according to Putin.

“That’s a different kind of person, and it is my great hope that yes, there are some advantages, some disadvantages, but there will not be any impulse-based movements, on behalf of the sitting U. S. president.”

A Chinese woman who survived Communist Chinese leader Mao Tse-Tung’s regime slammed Loudoun County’s School Board in Virginia for teaching Critical Race Theory in its schools, asserting the lessons are “very familiar…the only difference is [Communist China] used class instead of race.”

“I’ve been very alarmed by what’s going on in our schools. You are now training our children to be social justice warriors and to loathe our country and our history,” the Chinese woman told the school board. “Growing up in Mao’s China, all of this seems very familiar. The Communist regime used the same critical theory to divide people; the only difference is they used class instead of race.”

“We were also encouraged to report on each other, just like the Student Equity Ambassador program and the Bias Reporting System,” she recalled, adding, “This is, indeed, the American version of the Chinese Cultural Revolution. The Critical Race Theory has its roots in cultural Marxism. It should have no place in our schools.”

According to WTOP, Loudoun County parents sued the school board on June 3, accusing the school district leaders of violating students’ freedom of speech.

“…basic principles like the First Amendment have not stopped the
Loudoun County School Board from prescribing exactly what shall be orthodox for its students. LCPS is all-in on a curricular framework that expects students to speak, act, and think in line with a particular ideology,” the lawsuit states. “Any dissent from that ideology can be labeled as ‘bias’ and anonymously reported to the speech police, a group of hand picked students who share the LCPS administration’s ideology, charged to pass judgment on those classmates that their peers turn in.”

The lawsuit says the school board has implemented racial distinctions between its students in the name of “dismantling systemic racism,” specifically noting the position of “Student Equity Ambassador,” which is appointed based on race and “discriminates against students on the basis of their viewpoint.”

“The Board has also implemented a viewpoint discriminatory ‘bias reporting system’ that chills students’ speech on matters of important public concern,” the lawsuit continues. “Each of these policies violates the Constitution’s guarantees of free speech and equality before the law.”

Israeli Startups Smash Funding Records, Reel In $10.5B In Just Six Months

Israel’s innovation technology sector broke another capital funding record this week and has now topped $10.5 billion since the start of the year – the same amount raised in all of 2020, according to Start-Up Nation Finder. This is the second major report to highlight 2021’s sizzling cash flow for blue-and-white startups in recent weeks.

“The market is clearly ‘red hot’ with a lot of money flowing into early and late-stage companies, some of which with valuations that don’t always make sense. Companies that raise now should manage their cash in a clever way, balancing between the desire to ‘push forward’ and gain a competitive edge while keeping some for a rainy day,” Lior Handelsman, General Partner at Grove Ventures, tells NoCamels.

Funding seems to be pouring into local startups especially in cybersecurity, fintech, and enterprise sectors, with companies in these spaces hauling in $6.2 billion or 60 percent of all investments.

The world demand for solutions in these fields — cybersecurity, fintech, and enterprise– are high in part due to the massive forward push of digitization in the wake of COVID-19.

“Part of that accelerated growth of course has to do with COVID-19, and continued low interest rates in the world, which is creating demand to invest in the tech sector,” Dekel Persi, co-founder and managing partner at TPY Capital, said in a statement.

According to the new report, Israel recorded an increase of 137 percent in funding growth for the first five months of 2021 compared to the first five months of 2020.

Most of the funding comes from foreign investors, according to the report. Investment performance worldwide stands at 89 percent, Europe has recorded an increase of 123 percent for the same period, the US has seen an increase of 91 percent and Asia has seen an increase of 69 percent, according to PitchBook data.

A school board member gave a graduation speech in which she told a mainly-immigrant class of high schoolers that they were entering a world filled with “racism, extreme versions of individualism and capitalism, [and] white supremacy,” and encouraged them to remember their “jihad” and reject the concepts of objectivity and neutrality.

Fairfax County school board member Abrar Omeish gave the keynote address at the commencement for Justice High School in Falls Church, Virginia on June 7.

The ceremony began with a ceremony in which JROTC military cadets were the only people at the graduation who wore masks.

The class president then led what she called “the nation’s anthem,” referring to the pledge of allegiance, in which she said the U.S. was “one nation under Allah.” Omeish was out of view of the camera, but a picture from another recent graduation shows her as the only person without her hand over her heart during the pledge.

The president of the student government then introduced Omeish by noting that she was “Virginia co-chair for the Bernie Sanders campaign” and that her father, Esam Omeish, was a “leader and a board member of the Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center” who “raised his daughter to be an outspoken woman.”

Dar al-Hijrah is a mosque attended by two of the 9/11 hijackers as well as the shooter in the 2009 attack on Fort Hood. Its imam was Anwar al-Awlaki, who President Barack Obama ordered killed by drone strike for plotting terrorism for Al Queda. Omeish noted that her father was in attendance at the graduation.

Her address seemed to herald the schools’ roles as political indoctrination centers. “You all kicked off the first ever black history month assembly to ensure that we confront our history and answer honestly about the ills of our past,” she said….

Much of the speech appeared designed to signal that she is unrepentant for a recent tweet in which she called Israel a colonizing state that “desecrates the Holy Land” and “kills Palestinians.”

She indicated that she feels similarly about America, saying “let us acknowledge the stolen land of the Manahoac people,” referring to a Virginia native American tribe.

She lamented the “child forced to question and hate the faith they love because of bullying,” frequently slipping into Arabic in her speech.

Some of her fellow members on the all-Democrat school board have offered tepid criticism of her comments on Israel, but in her graduation speech, she encouraged graduates not to let that kind of thing bother them.

“The world may try to quiet you by deciding for you what’s cool, what’s weird, what is or isn’t objective. It may try to convince you that what you hold dear is too different to be accepted. But who gets to decide? You are walking into a world that will be uncomfortable when you seek to cause good trouble. And that may seek to intimidate you or make you think the truth is controversial,” she said.

“Every part of your being may scream in rage at the ways others have wronged you,” but “let compassion for your fellow human beings, not anger or rage — and believe me this is hard to do — fuel you,” she said.

“No matter how many haters emerge, I’m sure you’ve encountered them yourselves, and believe me they’re a sign you’re unsettling the status quo towards justice. Just consider them your cheerleaders of another breed,” she said.

In her introduction, the student leader said Omeish faced “hatred for speaking truth to power about the Palestinian experience” but “continues to overcome and be an example so that young leaders like us will do the same.”

The introduction from a student also stated that “two years ago [Omeish’s] civil rights were violated by the police due to her appearance. she was attacked and discriminated against.” That entire incident is on video, which shows that an officer pulled over her car after watching her run a red light from a distance, from which her appearance was not visible. She repeatedly refused to show her license and then refused to get out of the car, leading to her arrest….

Drain The Swamp

Introduction:

If they falsified the number of nursing home deaths in New York (Hogan et al., 2021), I wonder if they falsified the number of nursing home deaths in every state.  It is apparent to me that ‘drain the nursing homes’ attitudes among some liberal politicians were pre planned and premeditated before the Affordable Care Act of 2010 (HealthInsurance.org, 2021).  Although the following series of events amount to mostly circumstantial evidence, a seven-year long series of circumstances and strange coincidences led me to ‘drain the nursing homes’ conclusions.

Pre Obamacare:

Between 2001 and 2005, a national health care organization headquartered in Fort Smith, Arkansas was sued out of existence under suspicious circumstances (Cockburn, 2016).  Beverly Enterprises was a long-term health care organization that provided nursing home services plus other healthcare services including skilled nursing facility (SNF), physical therapy, home health, and hospice services in 20+ states.  The last lawsuit against Beverly Enterprises was because of an Arkansas nursing home neglect issue.  It was rumored some of the same law firms that sued Beverly Enterprises later became some of the top campaign contributors to Senator Mark Pryor, D-AR 2004 election and were also donors to the Clintons.  Mark Pryor was the only Democrat candidate to win the U.S. Senate campaign in 2003).  Before Mark Pryor was elected U.S. Senator-D, AR, he was the Attorney General of Arkansas from 1999 to 2003.  He was directly involved with former prosecution of Beverly Enterprises.

By 2006, Beverly Enterprises was bought by the San Francisco, California based Fillmore Capital Partners, LLC.  Fillmore Capital Partners, LLC is a group with liberal-leaning board members and top investors known to have close ties to both Nancy Pelosi and the Clintons.  According to Jake (2011) from the RedState website, Nancy Pelosi was the first candidate who ran her campaign on the phrase ‘drain the swamp.’  The Fillmore Capital Partners purchased Beverly Enterprises for pennies on the dollar (Bos MSc et al., 2017) just before Obama became President in 2008 and the Affordable Care Act (2010).

I was one of the top three health insurance collectors for Golden Living from 2006 to 2011.  The first-year advertising campaign expense reported for Golden Living was reported as hundreds of billions of dollars, not millions.  I thought the advertising expense amount reported had to be a typo and became suspicious of the direction and corporate climate of Golden Living.  I resigned from my Account Receivable Analyst job at Golden Living to finish college.  One year after I left Golden Living, the company requested economic stimulus bailout money from U.S. Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.  They may have received multiple bailouts from Nancy Pelosi.

Post Obamacare:

Most Americans do not realize the potential for healthcare and health insurance fraud that includes commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid increased under the Affordable Care Act (2010).  I think one factor that contributed to the potential for the increase of corruption was the number of politicians who appointed family members to health care ‘administrative’ board jobs in most large health care organizations in the U. S. such as Golden Living.  According to Steve Hilton in an Internet video, Steve Hilton (2017) exposes the political-healthcare administrative cronyism in large healthcare organizations.  As a result of the lack of ethical over-site under Obamacare, the reporting of insurance fraud was controlled from the inside because of the new healthcare bureaucracy.  The health care industry became so corrupt under Obamacare, I changed majors in college from a major in Healthcare Administration in 2013 to a major in Mass Communications and Journalism in 2014.  I believe the impact Obamacare on the U.S. healthcare system encouraged healthcare administrator to behave like Spanish Inquisitors.  Before Obamacare was law in 2010, it was not unusual to hear about a large healthcare organization being sued or fined for ethical misconduct.  After Obamacare, I have not heard of one significant healthcare ethics new story except one which is the current New York nursing home healthcare scandal.

However, in Hilton’s (Fox New, 2017) Swamp Watch, Hospitals report, he exposed a large healthcare system known as Ascension Health, based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.   Ascension Health began growing exponentially under Obamacare beginning in 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Today, Ascension Health is one of the largest employers in the state of Missouri.  During my 2013 school year I wrote a report based on a Forbes (2011) article titled “Why Switzerland Has the World’s Best Healthcare” (Roy, 2011).  I explained in my essay why Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia wrote the strongest dissenting opinion against the Affordable Care Act (ACA).  Justice Scalia expected ongoing constitutional challenges to Obamacare and addressed some of the potential challenge scenarios in his written decision.

Another DNC Smash and Grab:

In another DNC ‘smash and grab’ of a large organization, President Obama and ‘friends’ (Madison, 2018) purchased the University of Phoenix.  The same school I graduated from in 2016 majoring in Mass Communications/Journalism.  The UOPX would not officially give me my diploma in Journalism until 2019.  While in school at UOPX, I would get phone calls out of the blue for temporary health administrative job offers.  Most of the job offers came from one health care organization, St. John of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Every time I made a negative comment about Obamacare in my home, I was let go from a job.  I began to realize I was being stalked by some of the D.C. Swamp for holding conservative political views.  The stalking continued in Kansas and Missouri while I was working for other employers.  While I was finishing school, I researched various world views on healthcare, I did come across an article about the U.S Supreme Court decision on the Affordable Care Act.  Justices Antonin Scalia stated in his dissenting decision why he thought the Affordable Care Act (2010) could be challenged in another court case at a later date.

Other Important Facts:

In 2013 the Ascension Group purchased the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based St John healthcare organization.  President Obama and other Swamp Members became involved with the merger of Ascension, St John, St Francis, and CommunityCare of Oklahoma because of its ability to provide confidentiality.  This created an unprecedented potential from conflict of interest and corruption.  When I went to work for CommunityCare of Oklahoma, they were in the process of downsizing.  CommunityCare had been contracted with every hospital in Tulsa until they dropped their contract with Hillcrest and went through major downsizing twice since 2019.  This liberated the Tulsa healthcare organization from the D.C. Swamp.

In 2016, my children, John Lee, Jr and Rachel Lee were attending Tulsa Community College at the Southeast Campus.  Just before the 2016 election on September 21, Terence Crutcher, another student at the same campus, was reported as shot and killed by Tulsa Police Officers (Jaschik, 2016).  After finding out how much money Obama and Company dumped in the city of Tulsa to fit an election narrative, it was obvious to me others that this student was targeted.

In 2018, someone from the District of Columbia purchases the new apartment my family just moved into 4240 S 109th E Ave in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  The same people had trouble purchasing all the apartment complexes on 109th E. Street. I also begin receiving threatening phone calls from people stating I would be arrested for bank fraud and money laundering.  I immediately reported the occurrence to the FBI.  I do believe everything that The did in the Ukraine, they were doing here, only on a much larger scale.
In 2019, The Walt Disney Company purchased 21st Century Fox.  It was not an accident former Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, currently sits on the board of The Walt Disney Company and Fox News.  I believe the current Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi was referring to Paul Ryan and friends when she stated Obamacare had bipartisan congressional support when it was passed into law (Berry, 2017), even though not one member of the GOP voted for Obamacare.

In 2019, two former state Senators died under suspicious circumstances within days of each other while investigating child sex trafficking rings in their states (Hayek, 2019).  The two ex-legislators were Linda Collins-Smith, a former senator from Arkansas and Jonathan Nichols, a former senator from Oklahoma.

In 2019, Tulsa City Officials tell the City of Springfield, Kansas City, and other cities that they do not want me to leave Tulsa, Oklahoma because I am under investigation for being a witch and for Medicaid fraud.  Both are false.  However, I did notice Ivanka Trump and Bill Barr was reported ‘visiting’ Kansas City before, during, and after the time we were working outside the city.  I also noticed the Bank of Oklahoma Financial (very personal friends of President Obama) opened multiple branches in the greater Kansas City area between 2019 and 2020.   My son, John Lee, Jr and I would see City of Tulsa officials and the Tulsa Sheriff in the hotels we stayed in while we were working temporary jobs.  This happened in Kansas City and Saint Louis, Missouri.  We worked light industrial jobs in order not to work clerical jobs that would give us access to any electronic information.
In 2020, I begin filing FBI and Tulsa City Police reports because of internet stalking for myself and my family.  I told the FBI and Tulsa City Police that it was obvious to me that some GOP politicians including Governor Stitt, Senator Lankford, and others were grooming and targeting my daughter for sex trafficking via the internet.  Although my daughter has attended Tulsa Community College for four years, the college administration keep making excused why she does not have her degree.  Governor Stitt stated I would not leave Oklahoma without both kids.

During the 2020 U. S. Covid-19 quarantine, Governor Cuomo of New York demanded President Trump donate an unprecedented number of ventilators to hospitals for medical treatments (Hicks & Hogan, 2020).  The New York hospitals that received the Covid-19 patients from nursing homes, then up-coded the patients treatment charges an estimated 1000% after placing them on ventilators. It is common knowledge in the medical community only around two percent of patients placed on ventilators in hospitals recover from treatments.  I believe there needs to be an investigation into the New York hospitals to see if this was a Swamp connected agreement Ascension headquartered in Saint Louis, and others.

In 2020, an unprecedented U. S. Supreme Court decision declares Tulsa, Oklahoma an American Indian Reservation.  Ruth Bader Ginsburg knows this decision means I cannot be prosecuted by the City of Tulsa or the State of Oklahoma because I am a decedent of a native American Indian from Oklahoma.  While I was working for CommunityCare of Oklahoma, the Board of Directors researches which native American tribe I am a descendant from and informs my biological brother.  Later, Senator Mitch McConnel immediately attempts to have the U. S. Supreme Count decision altered so that Tulsa Police and others can arrest and prosecute native American Indians again, fearing multiple lawsuits.
During the 2020 Covid-19 U.S. quarantine, President Trump gave an unprecedented amount of PPP money to U.S. religious organizations headquarter in Missouri and Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Five of the top ten top payouts to religious organizations went to either churches my family attended regularly or was planning to visit during the 2020 quarantine (Roys, 2020).

In 2020, my son was told by Kelly Services in Lees Summit that the criminal background checking agency they use stated someone in Tulsa, Oklahoma was using his social security number to get a job.  Because we receive no permanent job offers we return to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and file for temporary unemployment and find out someone in Tulsa, Oklahoma used John Lee, Jr social security number to file for unemployment benefits and they could not verify my son’s identity until after a lengthy investigation.  I did report this information to Tulsa City Police and the FBI.

In 2020, President Obama and friends donated to Ozark Technical Community College and Ozark University, the very school my children were planning on finishing school.

Conclusion:

Other important facts include the death of President Obama’s mother before he ran for Illinois state senator, and the death of President’s Obama’s grandmother just before he was elected U. S. President.  I do not believe draconian quarentines for healthy people and people not in a high-risk catagory because it creates a potential for health care corruption.  My husband, John Lee, Sr, lost his mother and father the same week of December 7, 2020, which was the same week of his birthday. According to the AARP (2021) web site, the Public Policy Instritute reported as of April 2021, Oklahoma had a higher Covid 19 nursing homes infection rate than New York in a four week period.  I believe this was a Christmas message from President Obama and ‘friends.’ in a form of retaliation for our stand against the handeling for the Covid 19 virus and other political issues.  Fortunately, the D.C. Swamp did not use the same smash and grab tactics to get control of all health care organizations in the United States yet.

New York City Needs a Positive Transformation

When our first president under the Constitution was sworn in on April 30, 1789, it was in New York City. Back then it was our capital city. Today it is often called the cultural capital of the country.

George Washington took the oath of office in the common way it was done in his Anglican Church, by saying, “So help me, God.” He took the oath with his hand on an open Bible. Also in keeping with an Anglican tradition, Washington leaned over and kissed the Bible. Last time I checked (in 2014), that Bible is still on display (near Wall Street).

But, my, how things have changed.

George Washington was an active church-goer and a regular reader of the Bible and the Book of Common Prayer. Mayor Bill de Blasio, according to the National Catholic Reporter (1/16/14), “is now perhaps the nation’s most visible ‘none,’ an icon of one of the nation’s fastest-growing religious groups—those without any formal religious identification.”

De Blasio, an opponent of property rights and advocate for socialism, has been presiding over a disaster by virtually every criterion. Curtis Sliwa, a Republican candidate for the office of mayor, calls him “Comrade de Blasio.” In 1979, Sliwa founded the New York City-based group of Good Samaritans called the “Guardian Angels,” to help supplement the work of the police on a voluntary basis. These volunteers are still active and sorely needed.

These days, New York City is hemorrhaging residents left and right following the lockdown a year ago, the mistreatment of the police, and skyrocketing crime.

A symptom of NYC’s woes seems to be rather trivial, at first glance. Just the other day, a TV station in NYC reported that there is now a resurging problem of graffiti there. Fox5 reported (6/4/21): “Vandals have been targeting storefronts and buildings with more and more graffiti in SoHo [in Manhattan], leaving local shop owners frustrated.”

One building manager complained, “Four businesses on this block had their windows broken down…We were lucky that we had metal that comes down. I think that’s the only thing that saved us.”

Someone might say, “Who cares about graffiti in the big picture of things?” Well, yes, things much worse are taking place there. According to the NYC Daily News (12/19/20), gun violence doubled in NYC in 2020.

But graffiti, like rude manners, is an indicator of bad things. Part of the reason curbing graffiti is important is because the little things are important. When Mayor Rudy Giuliani cleaned up New York City in the 1990s, he managed to curb crime significantly by clamping down on such little things.

Riding the subway was very cheap then. So when unsavory characters would hop over the subway turnstiles to steal a ride, they were only stealing a few dollars. Yet the city hampered turnstile-hopping, and in the process greatly reduced crime on the subways.

Spraying graffiti was a relatively minor crime, yet they clamped down on graffiti and in the process, they greatly reduced crime. That’s because the graffiti could signal a welcome for bad guys to engage in more serious crimes.

In his book, The Tipping Point, Malcolm Gladwell writes of the “Broken Windows theory,” postulated by James Q. Wilson and George Kelling: “If a window is broken and left unrepaired, people walking by will conclude that no one cares and no one is in charge. Soon, more windows will be broken, and the sense of anarchy will spread from the building to the street on which it faces, sending a signal that anything goes.”

I went to New York City on some work-related trips before Giuliani and after Giuliani. The difference was palpable. Part of his success was by paying attention to the little things.

As Jesus put it, we need to be faithful in the little things. If you can’t be trusted with a few things, why should you be trusted with more?

Manners may seem to be trivial. But ultimately there is a link between manners and morals.

William Wilberforce, the great 18th-19th century Christian statesman, who spent his lifetime championing the cause of abolishing slavery in the British Empire as a longtime Member of Parliament, was also engaged in a lesser-known crusade.

He and other Christian reformers in pre-Victorian England pushed for what they called “the reformation of manners.” The modern translation of that would be “the reformation of morals.” Often good manners and good morals go together.

When George Washington retired from public life, he issued his Farewell Address. In that document he said that “religion and morality,” (which meant in his day, Christianity and Judeo-Christian teaching like the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule) are “indispensable supports” for our happiness and political prosperity. His words are just as relevant for New York City today, as well as the rest of the country, as when he wrote them in 1796.

ARIZONA: Youngest Black Republican Candidate Alex Stovall Kicks Off Campaign With Ad Calling Himself The “Anti AOC”

CHANDLER, Ariz. /PRNewswire/ Alex Stovall is a 26 year-old Army Reservist Chaplain candidate running for Congress to stand up to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who he sees as the biggest problem in the U.S. House. If elected, Stovall would become the youngest Black Republican ever elected to Congress in American history.

“We are proud to launch this historic campaign for Congress. Alex was spurred into running by seeing the actions of AOC and her squad. He knew that our nation needed a young Conservative voice in Congress to counter her socialist agenda. Alex loves this country and will fight to make sure that it continues to be the greatest country in the world,” said Stovall’s Press Secretary, Joel Bailey.

The campaign launched with a video that went viral gathering over half-a-million views in 72 hours and featured a memorable opening line addressing Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, “Socialists like AOC hate two things: God and America.” The video continues by outlining the grassroots approach Stovall is bringing to the campaign.

“To stop AOC and her cronies, we have to fight fire with fire. That’s why I’m running to become the youngest black Republican Congressman in U.S. history. I will be the perfect voice to cut through their B.S.”

The campaign has received a groundswell of support both online and offline after releasing the announcement video. He frequently posts pictures from drive-by rallies done in the district and memes targeting the embattled Congresswoman.

“We’ve seen a large increase in contributions from fans across the country that want to see us stand up to representatives like AOC, who claim they fight for minorities,” says Bailey. “People are tired of her radical policies. They don’t help anybody but her.”

Stovall is running in Arizona’s 9th Congressional district in Maricopa county in a seat held by Democrat Rep. Greg Stanton. The campaign says challenging the seat will be integral to taking back Arizona after the 2016 election.

“Arizona is now a battleground swing state that Republicans and Conservatives need to win. Electing Alex is a huge chance to take back a seat that the Democrats are afraid to lose and win back a state that Republicans need to take back in 2022,” continued Bailey.

Stovall has focused his campaign on advancing job creation, championing education reform, and stopping illegal immigration. He is a Reservist Chaplain Candidate in the Army and has been enlisted for eight years. Stovall holds a bachelor’s degree in theology and a Master in divinity from Grand Canyon university.

He experienced seeing domestic violence, child abuse, and gang activity growing up and wants to make sure that kids in his district never have to go through the same thing. His campaign features the tagline “Faith, Family, and Freedom.”

The lefts Planned destruction of the U.S. Military

I am not shocked at the dangerous stupidity being bought to the United States Military by its new black Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ( who has not suffered because he is black by the way! ) and the Joe Biden/Barrack Hussein Obama Socialist administration as they seek further weakening and destruction of our once amazing and all powerful military. The military that guaranteed our freedoms and liberties. The military that protected our constitution and defended other countries from tyranny.

So what has got me all riled up?

The new diversity and inclusion training being forced upon them.

This is basically just Anti-American indoctrination. Pure and simple.

I bet the Russians, the Chinese, the North Koreans and the Iranian leaders plus all our other detractors and enemies around the globe are rubbing their hands together in glee. This as they increase spending tremendously to strengthen their own military forces.

Critical Race Theory Training has NO place in the military. In fact it has no place anywhere in your or my America. It is decisive. It is racist. It is wrong.

Sen. Tom Cotton, ( R-Ark. ) introduced legislation to ban this communist style destructive Critical Race Training from the US Military. He and Rep. Dan Crenshaw, (R-Texas ) also set up a website for whistle blowers to report instances of this training to him.

They have received (surprise surprise) hundreds of reports from serving members who report falling morale, early retirements and what should be most worrisome, a total distrust between white and black members.

Being a former active duty military member in the Rhodesian Bush War from 1973 to 1980, I can say that over 70% of our military was black. My life was saved several times by my black brothers. Color was irrelevant. We were all a strong unit that trained and fought together and had the highest kill ratio of all military forces to that date. We were truly men among men. No openly gay soldiers, no trannies, no weirdos and no perverts. Just a military machine designed to protect the country, its citizens and destroy a communist and Marxist enemy terrorist force. We were trained like all military to kill. To fight to our last breath. Not to pick up trash or hold hands and sing Kumbaya!!

This America is unacceptable.

Reports from one US Marine informed the senator that a previous course on military history was being replaced with a course on systemic racist police brutality against blacks, white privilege and why and how whites are only capable of systemic racism.

There is also a required reading of a book titled “White Fragility” by Robin DiAngelo which claims all western whites have internalized white supremacy!

Lloyd Austin stated recently, just after undoing the Trump ban on transgender soldiers, that he sought to ensure the military was “welcoming to everyone who can qualify and who is fit to serve.” What he didn’t state was how the standards would be reduced to ensure full inclusiveness of all who felt a need to join up or maybe just thought they would look good in the uniform.

He also stated that the military has done a good job at diversifying itself but now under this administration it would become more open and accepting of all minorities regardless of color, costs or sexuality claims.

He further stated “Diversity, equity and inclusion is important to this military and it will be important in the future.” Huh? Would that make them more suited to pick up trash on the borders left by illegals like the Texas National Guard recently was forced to do by this Administration?

Would that make them easier to defeat in a war as those trannies may be more worried about breaking a nail than watching the other soldiers sixes?

Would the reduction in training standards to make room for these pitiful examples like transgenders make it a stronger military?

Or are they all just a plan to weaken our own military to enable a one world military made up of weak and pitiful unicorns and fairies led by weak and leftist politically motivated international brass?

Why do Biden and Harris get a free pass on migration but not Trump?

Criticise Trump if you will, but when Biden and Harris adopt the same policies, be consistent: criticise them, too.

You can be for or against open borders; immigration is a difficult debate, and I respect anybody who sensibly argues for either side.

But you have to be consistent. I have no respect for people who demonise a politician for having a position on immigration and laud another politician when she defends exactly the same position.

Sadly, this is precisely what the liberal media in the United States have been doing for years. President Donald Trump was persistently portrayed as a bogeyman who hates immigrants because of their skin colour. But, this narrative leaves aside that his predecessor, President Barack Obama, had deported more people than any other previous US President, to the point that some sensible critics called him the “Deporter in Chief”.

Not to be outdone, in a recent visit to Guatemala, Vice-President Kamala Harris told citizens of that impoverished Central American nation: “Do not come. Do not come. The United States will continue to enforce our laws and secure our borders.”

So, why do Obama and Harris get a free pass, whereas Trump doesn’t?

Because the “medium is the message”. This concept goes back to Canadian literary critic Marshall McLuhan, who argued that the way a message is conveyed, rather than its actual content, is what really influences people. Two people can say exactly the same thing, but if they use different media to convey the same message, people will perceive it differently.

When McLuhan came up with this concept in his 1964 book Understanding Media: The Extensions of Man, he had in mind differences in mass media (print vs audiovisual, etc). But we are now entering a new era of “the medium is the message.” The differences between, say, newspaper and television are not so important as the differences between the identities of the people who convey messages.

In our day and age, identity politics reigns supreme and that is what really determines how messages are perceived.

Consequently, it is time to point out the elephant in the room: Obama and Harris get a free pass because of their skin colour. Obama used illegal drone warfare in Pakistan, bailed out banks, and massively increased surveillance control­— the kind of policies that the Left has always found disturbing. But very few progressives managed to point out the obvious. They ran the risk of being called “racists” for daring to criticize the first black President in American history, so they mostly kept their mouths shut.

To his credit, Obama never went as far as to say: “Vote for me because I am black”, but many voters (including some celebrities) did unashamedly admit that they voted for him simply on the basis of identity. The actor Samuel L. Jackson, for instance, told Ebony in 2012: “I voted for Barack because he was black. Cuz that’s why other folks vote for other people—because they look like them.”

Whether consciously or unconsciously, Obama used that to his advantage. He knew that his skin colour would be the message itself. The American people cared little about the content of the message and were in search of a medium to free themselves from the burden of guilt for a long history of racial injustices. They found it in the hip Obama who would smile, play basketball, and walk the right way, but who would do the very same objectionable things many of his predecessors had done.

To a large extent, Kamala Harris is Obama 2.0.

Once the US had finally its first black President, it was time for its first black woman Vice-President (presumably as a platform to reach the presidency four years later). With Harris, her identity became even more salient. In Obama’s case, one still had to read inbetween the lines to see how race played to his advantage. For Harris, the pretense was over. Joe Biden explicitly said that he would choose a woman for his electoral ticket, preferably a black woman.

And perhaps even more so than Obama, Harris’s identity has become the message itself. She is all too aware of this, and very smartly uses it to her advantage. She knows that she can get away with presenting a campaign video with radical Left ideas of equity, and only a few months  later deliver in Guatemala an anti-immigration speech that is almost verbatim the same as those delivered by a former President who is portrayed by liberal media as a white supremacist.

It is time to go back to the basis of common sense. Ideas are to be judged on their own merits, regardless of the skin color ­— or genitals— of those who profess them. Opening borders to immigrants may or may not be a good idea. But, for crying out loud, be consistent! What’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

A Look Into OnlyFans: Child Sexual Abuse Material and Trafficking

OnlyFans markets itself as a social media platform where “influencers” can sell their content to a subscriber base. However, it is no secret that the overwhelming majority of the content sold on OnlyFans is in fact pornography. OnlyFans has thus become the latest iteration of the commercial sex industry—and its popularity is rapidly escalating. What is perhaps most concerning is that OnlyFans is even growing in popularity amongst children.  

Recent news stories (also see stories here, here, and here) have highlighted cases of minors creating and selling sexually explicit content of themselves on OnlyFans. The child sexual abuse material (CSAM, the more apt term for “child pornography”) found on OnlyFans also includes instances where children are exploited by traffickers. 

Thus far, OnlyFans’ Age Verification systems have failed to detect and prevent these cases of CSAM. What’s more, their marketing strategies and attempts to normalize the commercial sex industry are contributing to the allure children feel towards webcamming through OnlyFans. 

Children Selling Self-Generated CSAM for “Easy Money”

A recent BBC article offers a very thorough investigation into the issue of minors creating and selling CSAM of themselves on OnlyFans. A common theme emerged among multiple cases: children are enticed by the promise of easy money, as well as the hope of growing in popularity and social influence.

As one 13-year-old said: “I know it’s not appropriate for kids my age to be doing this, but it’s an easy way to make money. . . Some of the girls have thousands of followers on Instagram and they must be raking it in—I wanna be just like them.” 

Another 16-year-old bragged to her school career advisor about the money she was making through OnlyFans, asking why she should listen to any career advice from her.  

OnlyFans’ marketing strategies are contributing to this dangerous allure for children. By branding themselves as an “influencer” platform, OnlyFans has helped fuel these children’s tragic notion that the way to become popular and influential is to sell their bodies. OnlyFans intentionally blurs the lines between the commercial sex industry and mainstream social media, saying, “As far as we’re concerned, if you use social media and produce your own content, you should be using OnlyFans.”

This serves to further normalize the commercial sex industry amongst young people, who likely don’t understand the extensive short and long-term harms and risks inherent in the industry. OnlyFans promises easy money to new and amateur “content creators” with their slogan: “Anyone can earn.” They declare on their website that earnings could be between $1,499 and $7,495 per month.  

Even if OnlyFans is not deliberately targeting children, or designing their market strategies with minors in mind, a dangerous consequence of their marketing has been to attract many minors into the commercial sex industry, many of whom likely would not have been attracted to the industry in other forms. 

Lesser Known Risks Associated with Webcamming

As the commercial sex industry becomes increasingly normalized in society, many adults—let alone children—may enter the industry without properly understanding the risks or harms involved. Webcamming in particular is often lauded as being harmless and especially empowering, and an increasing number of young people consider it to be normal. 

Research and anecdotal evidence from survivors shows that the webcamming sector of the commercial sex industry is still rife with potential psychological, socio-emotional, and physical harms.

Participants in studies have described webcamming as psychologically traumatic or distressing. For example, in one study a participant named Jessica describes sitting in a corner traumatized for the entire day after her first webcamming performance, while a participant named Ken says he did not leave his room for an entire week. This psychological trauma is a common theme in studies on all forms of prostitution; the online nature of webcamming does not appear to erase the trauma.  

There are also other risks and harms which are in fact heightened by the unique nature of the webcamming industry. For example, the online nature of webcamming leaves performers extremely vulnerable to doxxing, stalking, extortion, blackmail, and “capping” (ie. customers filming the webcammer’s private “shows” and posting them online without her consent). Webcammers in one study state that capping is “pretty much inevitable” and is “one of the risks you’ll have to come to terms with in this line of work”. Some researchers argue that the risks of stalking or other forms of harassment are heightened by the interactive nature of webcamming and the fact that webcammers are encouraged to communicate directly with subscribers. 

In addition, the ease with which anyone can start webcamming and the increased normalization and popularity of webcamming has turned it into a highly competitive industry, as it is flooded with content and content-creators. As a result, studies find that webcammers often must escalate to performing more and more dangerous, extreme, or degrading acts, to stay ahead of the competition. Finally, the risk of being trafficked is not eliminated in webcamming, as numerous studies show. Which brings us to the other form of CSAM found on OnlyFans: instances in which children are being exploited by traffickers. 

Cases of Trafficked Children on OnlyFans

While much of the CSAM on OnlyFans is a product of minors uploading their own self-produced content, police and child protection agencies are also uncovering cases of children being trafficked or exploited on the platform. 

For example, the Vice President of the National Centre on Missing and Exploited Children, Staca Shehan, states: “In 2019 there were around a dozen children known to be missing being linked with content on OnlyFans. Last year the number of those cases nearly tripled.”

Police forces have also received complaints from children who had others upload intimate images of them to OnlyFans without their consent. In another case, a minor had her face edited onto someone else’s body (i.e. “deepfake”), and the resulting pornographic content uploaded to OnlyFans. Yet another minor complained to the police that she was blackmailed into posting images on OnlyFans. 

Insufficient Age Verification Systems in Place

Although OnlyFans claims to have robust, constantly improving Age Verification systems to prevent CSAM from being uploaded to the site, these systems have failed in all of the aforementioned cases. 

Minors have been able to cheat the Age Verification systems by using fake ID’s or ID’s owned by older relatives. In one case, a minor named Leah used a fake driving license to create an OnlyFans account and upload sexually explicit material. Leah’s age was anonymously reported to OnlyFans at a later date, but after reviewing the account, the company decided that it “appeared legitimate”, and no further action was taken. Leah’s age was also stated on numerous other social media sites; OnlyFans claims to check other social medias as part of the account verification process, but this evidently did not stop them from allowing Leah’s account. OnlyFans finally shut down Leah’s account after being contacted by BBC News, but by that time CSAM from her account had been downloaded and uploaded in numerous other places, all across the internet. 

OnlyFans claimed that Leah’s case, and others like it, happened during a transition “from one effective ID age verification system to a new exceptionally effective” system. However, BBC News tested this supposedly “new exceptionally effective” system in April, and succeeded in creating an OnlyFans account for a 17-year-old by using her 27-year-old sister’s passport. 

OnlyFans is putting children at risk with their lack of sufficient age verification and their dangerous influence on culture. That is why OnlyFans was named to the National Center on Sexual Exploitation’s 2021 Dirty Dozen List. We must work collectively to prevent platforms like OnlyFans from further normalizing sexual exploitation and causing harm to women and children.
