Iranian regime proxies have launched 14 attacks against U.S. servicemen and installations across the Middle East since Hamas unleashed its murderous slaughter of Israeli civilians on October 7. More than two dozen Americans have been injured, and the U.S. did nothing.
Finally, on Thursday, the U.S. struck back.
What did the world’s most powerful military, backed by the world’s most expensive intelligence-gathering network, do?
We sent two F-16s to drop bombs on a pair of ammo dumps used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps near Abu Kamal, Syria, not far from the U.S. base in al-Tanf that the Iranians have struck repeatedly.
Two F-16s. Two ammo dumps.
The Israelis conduct similar air strikes in Syria four times a week. We wait until we have been attacked fourteen times before we launch just one.
If that weren’t enough, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced that “the United States does not seek conflict and has no intention nor desire to engage in further hostilities.”
You can bet the Iranians are very impressed by that statement.
The Chinese and Russians are similarly impressed. The Russians met with leaders from Hamas and Iran this week, no doubt calling the newest ISIS affiliate to “exercise restraint.”
(Sorry, I was being sarcastic. They did no such thing. In fact, the Russians and the Chinese both backed Hamas at the United Nations this week, leaving the U.S. once-again flat-footed).
We also learned this week that Team Biden has “invited” – their words – the Chinese to get more engaged in the Middle East as the U.S. seeks to distance itself from the region.
That’s like asking the arsonist to come back for cocktails after he burned down your house in the morning.
President Biden has been speaking out of all sides of his mouth on the Hamas atrocities. While Israelis, in their grief, saw him as supportive during his brief appearance with Prime Minister Netanyahu recently, we now know that he demanded Israel delay or outright suspend its ground invasion of Gaza.
Just yesterday, Biden met in the White House with three top American Hamas-supporters, including the Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison and the head of the largest Muslim Brotherhood lobbying group in America, the Islamic Society of North America.
He promised them he would push Israel for a ceasefire and would deliver US aid to Gaza, where it will be immediately commandeered by Hamas
If there is a silver lining to any of this it’s this: Americans overwhelming support Israel, and have been outraged to witness the pro-Hamas demonstrations on our city streets and on the campuses of our most prestigious universities.
Those pro-Hamas protestors are a key constituent of Biden’s Democrat Party, which partially explains why Biden constantly kisses their kerchiefs. Let’s hope Americans remember that in the next election.
I discuss these stories and the world’s slow-march to war in this week’s edition of Prophecy Today Weekend.

US fighter jets strike Syria after attacks by Iran-backed militia: Two U.S. fighter jets struck weapons and ammunition facilities in Syria on Friday in retaliation for attacks on U.S. forces by Iranian-backed militia.
Two U.S. fighter jets struck weapons and ammunition facilities in Syria on Friday in retaliation for attacks on U.S. forces by Iranian-backed militia as concerns grew the Israel-Hamas conflict might spread in the Middle East.
President Joe Biden ordered strikes on the two facilities used by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps and militia groups that it backs, the Pentagon said, warning the U.S. will take additional measures if attacks by Iran’s proxies continue.
U.S. and coalition troops have been attacked at least 19 times in Iraq and in Syria by Iran-backed forces in the past week. Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Lebanon’s Hezbollah are all backed by Tehran.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said at the United Nations on Thursday that if Israel’s offensive against Hamas did not stop, the United States will “not be spared from this fire.”
The U.S. air strikes took place at roughly 4:30 a.m. Friday (0130 GMT) near Abu Kamal, a Syrian town on the border with Iraq, and were carried out by two F-16 fighter jets using precision munitions, a U.S. defense official said.
“These precision self-defense strikes are a response to a series of ongoing and mostly unsuccessful attacks against U.S. personnel in Iraq and Syria by Iranian-backed militia groups that began on Oct. 17,” Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement.
“These Iranian-backed attacks against U.S. forces are unacceptable and must stop,” Austin said.
“Iran wants to hide its hand and deny its role in these attacks against our forces. We will not let them. If attacks by Iran’s proxies against U.S. forces continue, we will not hesitate to take further necessary measures to protect our people.”
Biden has sent a rare message to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warning Tehran against targeting U.S. personnel in the Middle East, the White House said earlier on Thursday.
“What we want is for Iran to take very specific actions, to direct its militias and proxies to stand down,” a senior U.S. defense official said. The United States did not coordinate the air strikes with Israel, the official added.

The ayatollahs are getting impatient that their $6 billion check hasn’t arrived.
The ayatollahs are getting impatient that their $6 billion check hasn’t arrived in the mail. And they do like celebrating the 40th anniversary of their great triumph… the Marine Barracks bombing.
So they spent a little time trying to kill American soldiers. Again.
At least two-dozen American military personnel based in Iraq and Syria were injured in drone attacks last week that officials said were launched by Iran-backed proxy groups.
The largest attack carried out against a US base was on Oct. 18 when 20 troops suffered “minor injuries,” after numerous one-way drones targeted al-Tanf Garrison in southeastern Syria, US military officials said, according to the Washington Post.
On the same day, multiple drones also targeted the US and its allies in two different attacks on Ain al-Asad Air Base in western Iraq that left four people with minor injuries, the Washington Post reported. Those injured also returned to duty.
A US citizen working as a contractor died the same day after he went into cardiac arrest during a shelter-in-place order at the base.
The Pentagon has said the groups behind the attacks are supported by Iran and its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
It’s natural to assume that this is a response to the current situation in the region, but the depressing thing is that it’s not even new.
The two elements that jump out at most people (1. Iran launching attacks on U.S. bases and (2. the White House not even mentioning it… have been around for quite a while.
Two more terror drones targeted American forces deployed to fight ISIS at the Al Asad air base. The base has been repeatedly hammered by Iran-backed rocket attacks over the past year, most notably when 14 rockets struck the base over the summer causing several injuries.
There were repeated Iran-backed rocket strikes against Americans in Iraq throughout the last year totaling an estimated 25 separate attacks under the Biden administration.
On September 11, two drones launched an attack on U.S. forces at Erbil International Airport.
Then, as now, the Biden administration limited American military personnel to defensive preventative air strikes against the Shiite terror groups carrying out the attacks.
This was going on long before the current Hamas attack and the Israeli response. Or before we directed more forces to the region.
American soldiers have been killed and worse still, we’re funding their killers. And I don’t just mean with that $6 billion.
While some U.S. conflicts with Jihadists in the region are old news, Kataeb Hezbollah fired rockets at the U.S. embassy in Baghdad in 2019, and has bombed U.S. bases in recent years. Kataeb Hezbollah killed two American soldiers in 2020: Army Spc. Juan Miguel Mendez Covarrubias and Air Force Staff Sgt. Marshal D. Roberts.
Politicians and the media have mostly ignored the fact that Americans are continuing to be killed in Iraq, that the Iraqi government is funding their killers, and that we’re funding Iraq.
While Iraq funds Iran’s terror militias, the United States funds the UN Development Programme to “stabilize” Iraq and has invested over $100 million into “conflict, peace and security” funding.
The United States has spent over $1 billion financing the nation’s military while Iraq spends billions financing the Iranian PMU terror militias which are expected to approach a quarter of million Jihadis.
Did you hear any mention of Air Force Staff Sgt. Marshal D. Roberts?
On March 14, 2020, Roberts lost his life when enemy fire engaged with his unit at Camp Taji. With rockets flying, Roberts and his friend took cover. They discussed running to a bunker but not without considering if they could make it to safety. Roberts told his fellow Airmen to go and get her body armor. As his friend left, a rocket landed, taking his life. In losing his own, Roberts saved another.
Her body armor.
Do we talk about any of this? No. And then suddenly we notice it and wonder what’s going on. Iran keeps attacking us and trying to kill us. And Biden keeps trying to cut a deal while warning against offending Iran.

“Whatever worldly thing we may covet — zealously striving to obtain and then retain — never seems to bring an end to our desires. Covetousness, envy, jealousy, and greed always escalate into a vicious spiral, as we seek greater and greater gratification but find less and less contentment. . . Striving to acquire the things of the world not only does not bring lasting happiness and peace, but it drives us to seek more. When ‘all we’ve ever wanted’ is grounded in the temporal trappings of this world, it is never enough!” ― Brent Top, professor of Church History and Doctrine at Brigham Young University.
“The first act by which the state really comes forward as the representative of the whole of society – the taking possession of the means of production in the name of society – is also its last independent act as a state.” — Friedrich Engels, Anti-Dühring (1877)
“Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide. It is in vain to say that democracy is less vain, less proud, less selfish, less ambitious, or less avaricious than aristocracy or monarchy.” — John Adams, Founding Father.
Recently we watched the below video titled “She Nails It” done by an unknown American woman.
The woman in the video, who is “facing the prospect of not living in the United States”, says that “something evil has invaded our nation.” She is seeing our Constitution Republic fade away.
I decided to evaluate what this evil is.
Evil is based upon the three C’s — Communism, Socialism and Democracy.
“C” stands for Covet.
Coveting appears in the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments (KJV) were written by God on two tablets of stone and given to Moses on Mount Sinai.
Exodus 20: 2-17 presents the Ten Commandments (KJV) thusly:
2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15 Thou shalt not steal.
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.
The Bedrock of Evil Government is Coveting.
Currently there are five Communist countries in the world: China, Cuba, Laos, North Korea and Vietnam.
In Critique of the Gotha Program (1875) Karl Marx wrote, “In a higher phase of communist society, after the enslaving subordination of the individual to the division of labor, and therewith also the antithesis between mental and physical labor, has vanished; after labor has become not only a means of life but life’s prime want; after the productive forces have also increased with the all-around development of the individual, and all the springs of co-operative wealth flow more abundantly – only then can the narrow horizon of bourgeois right be crossed in its entirety and society inscribe on its banners: From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs!”
The Pew Research Center reports, “As of the end of 2017, 96 out of 167 countries with populations of at least 500,000 (57%) were democracies of some kind, and only 21 (13%) were autocracies. Nearly four dozen other countries – 46, or 28% – exhibited elements of both democracy and autocracy. Broadly speaking, the share of democracies among the world’s governments has been on an upward trend since the mid-1970s, and now sits just shy of its post-World War II record (58% in 2016).”
Interestingly Pew lists the United States as a “democracy” when in fact America is a Constutional Republic.
America is the only Constitutional Republic in the world.
The United States of America has become the primary target of the evil doers. Those who want to take power away from the people, as outlined in the U.S. Constitution, and turn it into a democracy where 50% + 1 person has total control of we the people.
Big government, be it Communist, Socialist or a Democracy, covets everything.
Big government covets:
All means of production.
The individual freedoms of the citizen.
An individual’s religious beliefs and morality.
The individual’s worldly possessions.
The individual’s ability to defend themselves.
The traditional family of one man, one woman and their biological children.
In order to become supreme, in order to maintain power, in order to maintain control of virtually everyone and every thing, big government must become bigger and bigger and bigger.
It is imperative that every evil government covet its neighbour’s house, covet its neighbour’s wife, his manservant, his maidservant, his ox, his ass, any thing that is its neighbour’s.
Coveting leads to replacing God with big government. Big government is by definition a “graven image.” Big government does not keep God’s commandments, rather it creates its own mandates, policies and laws that go against God’s commandments. Big government takes Lord God’s name in vain. Big government does not shew mercy unto thousands of them that love God. Big government does not want us to labour, and do our work because it wants what we have earned to expand big government.
Big government does not remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Big government kills those who disobey.
Big government wants us to commit adultery, in order to destroy the traditional family.
Finally, big government bear false witness against we the people.
Today America is only nation on this earth standing in the way of those who want to covet everyone and everything.

This is not hard. There is no ambiguity here. Any one who supports the unimaginable savagery by Hamas monsters is as evil as the acts themselves.
These notorious Jew-hating Democrats voted against the resolution to condemn Hamas many of whom have been criticized for their support of jihad terror and criticism of Israel’s response to the attacks.
Jihadi Representatives:
Rashida Tlaib of Michigan
Ilhan Omar of Minnesota
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York
Cori Bush of Missouri
Jamaal Bowman of New York
Andre Carson of Indiana
Al Green of Texas
Summer Lee of Pennsylvania
Delia Ramirez of Illinois
And one terrible jihadi Republican, #10Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky.
The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a resolution in support of Israel on Wednesday following terrorist attacks on the country by Hamas that began on Oct. 7.
House Resolution 771, titled “Standing with Israel as it defends itself against the barbaric war launched by Hamas and other terrorists,” condemns Hamas for beginning an “unprovoked war on Israel” and accuses them of “slaughtering Israelis and abducting hostages in towns in southern Israel, including children and the elderly.” After the House elected Republican Rep. Mike Johnson of Louisiana’s 4th District as its speaker following a three-week deadlock over the position, the resolution was quickly brought to the floor under a motion to suspend the rules, which required a two-thirds majority to approve.
“Resolved, That the House of Representatives — (1) stands with Israel as it defends itself against the barbaric war launched by Hamas and other terrorists; (2) reaffirms Israel’s right to self-defense; (3) condemns Hamas’ brutal war against Israel; (4) calls on all countries to unequivocally condemn Hamas’ brutal war against Israel,” the resolution’s text says. An overwhelming majority of 412 members voted in favor of the resolution, while ten voted against it, with six voting present.
Text of H.R. 771 by Daily Caller News Foundation on Scribd:
The bipartisan resolution was introduced by Republican Rep. Mike McCaul of Texas’ 10th District, who also serves as chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Members applauded the passage of the resolution after the vote count was announced by the chair, the Daily Caller News Foundation observed from the galleries of the House.
“This was one of the darkest moments in the history of the state of Israel,” McCaul said during a debate on the House floor about the resolution, the DCNF observed. “[Hamas] must be confronted with zero equivocation … [this resolution] condemns Hamas in the strongest possible terms and reaffirms America’s support for the State of Israel.”
Those who opposed the resolution included Democratic Reps. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Cori Bush of Missouri and Jamaal Bowman of New York — some of whom have been criticized by Democrats for their apparent support for Gaza and criticism of Israel’s response to the attacks. One Republican, Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, voted against the resolution.

Today is October 27th, the 20th day of the The Global War Against Islamic Terrorism.
Today the war has expanded and it is now going on from the Halls of the U.S. Congress, gone globally in dozens of cities with pro-Israel and pro-Hamas rallies, to the actual fighting in the Middle East in Israel, Syria and Gaza.
Here’s a glimpse of what is happening in the United States of America.

The New York Times begrudgingly admitted it was wrong about the Gaza hospital attack. It wasn’t Israel it was Hamas who hit the hospital with a rocket.
Then there is this response to American colleges and universities, e.g. Columbia University, hosting pro-Hamas rallies.

The note contains words of encouragement from Hamas commanders declaring the religious importance of massacring Jews wherever they are found. It further draws lessons from historical Muslim leaders who massacred men, sold women and children into slavery, and decimated cities across the Judeo-Christian world.
Israel’s Government Press Office set out the contents of the note in a statement, saying:
Note found on Hamas terrorist: “Know that this enemy of yours is a disease that has no cure, other than beheading and extracting the hearts and livers!”
On October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists invaded Israel and carried out a massacre in communities in southern Israel. A handwritten note was found on one of the terrorists which was given to him before the invasion.
The words from Hamas commanders consist of an order to kill Jews and encouragement to decapitate their victims and tear out their hearts and livers.
The Government Press Office attached a copy of the note in the original Arabic.
So the terrorists, believing Jews to be a “disease that has no cure,” gleefully followed their religious directive to butcher and rape Israeli women and children, including removing heads and hearts. And yet the Western Left hail them as “freedom fighters.”
Each year, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other Palestinian extremist organizations run summer camps that indoctrinate Palestinian youth with anti-Semitic propaganda while training them in the use of weapons and jihadist combat tactics. For those of us who have covered this terror group for years, this move is long overdue. Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) is a vicious hate group that supports Jewish genocide and Islamic savagery.
“Students for Justice in Palestine is a well-organized and well-financed festering hate group with chapters in the country’s most elite colleges. Its bigotry operates with the consent of administrators and faculty. Its speakers promote the murder of Jews and the denial of the Holocaust while their appearances are funded with student fees. Its chapters have been sanctioned and condemned for their bigoted activities, but no university has been willing to clearly and consistently denounce this hate group’s presence on campus.” (more here)
Now, Governor Ron DeSantis directed the chancellor of the State University System of Florida to deactivate the “Students for Justice in Palestine” group after it was revealed they sent out a “toolkit” inviting members to aid Hamas in their Operation Al-Aqsa Flood terrorist attacks. It is illegal in Florida to provide material support to foreign terror groups.
SJP is a terror-supporting, antisemitic network that harasses and intimidates Jewish students who support Israel and operates with autonomy and impunity at scores of colleges and universities across the United States.
SJP’s founders, financial patrons and ideological supporters have been linked to Islamic and Palestinian terror organizations such as Hamas, Hezbollah, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the Marxist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

SJP’s principal founder, Hatem Bazian—whose views and agendas will be discussed at greater length later in this pamphlet—has quoted approvingly from a famous Islamic hadith which calls for the violent slaughter of Jews and which appears in Hamas’s founding charter. He once spoke at a fundraising dinner for KindHearts for Charitable Humanitarian Development, a Hamasfront group that the U.S. government later shut down due to the organization’s ties to Islamic terrorism. On another occasion, Bazian portrayed Hamas as “a classical anti-colonial nationalist and religious guerrilla movement.” And he described Hamas’s victory in the 2006 Gaza elections as “a monumental event.”
The significance of Bazian’s—and SJP’s—affinity for Hamas becomes especially apparent when we contemplate the grotesque nature of the values for which that organization stands. Consider, for instance, the fact that Hamas’s aforementioned founding charter denounces “the Nazism of the Jews” and states explicitly that: “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it”; peace initiatives “are all contrary to the beliefs of the Islamic Resistance Movement”; “there is no solution to the Palestinian problem except by Jihad”; and “war for the sake of Allah” is a noble venture that requires the faithful to “assault and kill” on a massive scale.
Notwithstanding Hamas’s calls for mass murder and genocide, the website of SJP’s UC Berkeley chapter describes Hamas not as a terrorist group but rather as “a vast social organization” that “provides schools, medical care, and day care for a number of Palestinians who otherwise live difficult lives”; a group with a “clean record as far as domestic corruption in governance [is] concerned”; and an entity whose “officials have often stated that they are ready for a long-term truce with Israel during which time final status negotiations can occur.” SJP does make a pro forma acknowledgment that “Hamas has conducted numerous deadly attacks on Israeli civilians” and “committed numerous human rights abuses against Palestinians,” but then quickly draws a moral equivalence between Hamas’s deeds and “the racism and discrimination underlying the policies and laws of the state of Israel.”
It is commonplace for SJP’s rank-and-file members to support Islamic terrorism….

Most people know that lobbyists are paid shills (for a product, industry, or cause). However, few citizens are aware that almost all state and federal laws are written by lobbyists. That said, this commentary is just on one subject area: wind and solar energy. Since lobbyists’ objectives (e.g., their client’s financial gain) are in direct conflict with what is in the best interests of citizens, this is a deplorable situation.
This travesty will continue until lawsuits expose how such laws contradict other statutes on the books. For example, most states require that state utility boards approve energy projects based on two paramount criteria: cost and reliability.
But wind and solar projects are high cost and low reliability — so how could any of them ever be approved? Because: 1) of the undue influence of lobbyists, 2) state utility boards are acting to support political agendas (instead of their own statutes), and3) no one is suing them for their lack of adherence to state laws, etc..
One way around this has been citizens getting their community to impose reasonable (science-based) rules and regulations on local wind or solar projects (e.g., regarding setbacks, etc.). Of course, lobbyists and political virtue signalers find that citizens restricting non-sensical industrialization in their own community, to be unacceptable.
In response lobbyists got state legislators to pass state laws that limited what local legislators could do regarding the regulation of such projects in their community. For example, local communities are not allowed to make setbacks more than a “state approved” amount — regardless of what scientific information they have.
A major problem here is that in some cases, these new state restrictions are a violation of Home Rule rights. See here for a basic definition of what this means, and the numerous states that have Home Rule. Again, they get away with this extraction of citizens’ rights, because no one is properly suing them for this infringement.
The choice for citizens here is very simple: a) roll over and continue to be beaten down, orb) decide that they have had enough and then take meaningful action.
The good news is: if citizens are finally ready to pay hardball, they have several effective options. I’ve mentioned one already: sue state agencies for not complying with their statutory obligations. The most powerful lawsuit is to sue state agency members individually using the Federal 1983 Statute. This is to sue them personally for violating your civil rights, but it requires a sympathetic, aggressive attorney.
Note: I am not an attorney, so I am not giving legal advice here. Instead, I am simply letting you know some options available. Consult with a competent lawyer.
Another effective strategy against lobbyist influence is to outsmart them. For example, state laws that restrict how communities can regulate wind and solar are almost always about not allowing stricter setbacks, etc. than the state specifies. (Of course, the state has no scientific basis for the setbacks they allow — and, again, a proper lawsuit would expose that major deficiency.)
To effectively fight lobbyists it is essential to know the key factors needed to be properly regulated for industrial wind projects or solar projects. A clever way to outsmart them is to pass local regulations that are not specifically identified (limited) in a state law.
For example, pass a Property Value Guarantee. My energy website has a document about PVG, which also shows the scientific justification for it. PVGs are also incorporated into our model local wind and solar ordinances.
Some other clever tactics are:
Pass zoning laws that limit where wind or solar projects are allowed,
Pass an ordinance prohibiting any wind energy-related PILOT program,
Assess wind or solar projects at their FULL value,
Pass a General Zoning Ordinance listing a wide variety of things (including industrial wind energy) that would be inconsistent with your Town’s character, objectives, etc. [e.g., what the Town of Dryden did, which was upheld in court],
Require that the wind or solar facility developer not impose any confidentiality clauses on any landowners, in their lease or easement agreements, and
Declare your community to be a Sanctuary Community (opting out of certain regulations imposed on it by the State). [Note: to date, this has been done regarding immigration, gun laws, etc., so no good reason why not a renewable sanctuary!]
The bottom line is that if citizens are determined and creative (i.e., use critical thinking), they can outsmart lobbyists and lapdog politicians.
Here is a 100% guarantee: if you don’t properly defend your rights, they will take more of them away!
It’s amazing how, in our age of the great unraveling, we see the value of a college education imploding before our eyes.
The evil Hamas did in Israel on October 7th, 2023—leaving 1400 Israelis dead in brutal attacks on men, women, children, and even babies—revealed their true goals. But many college students are defending them.
Many Jews on campuses of some of our leading universities feel at risk. For example, the New York Post reports that on October 11, “a 24-year old Israeli student was beaten with a stick” on the Columbia University campus, right outside the main library.
Foxnews.com reports, “Columbia is one of many elite institutions across America that is being rocked by accusations of excusing antisemitism as the debate over the Israel-Hamas war continues.” They cite an example of a professor who “wrote an article highlighting the efforts of Hamas fighters invading Israel.” He favored them.
Such actions prompted an assistant professor at Columbia Business School, who is an Israeli-American, to call out the president of Columbia University as a “coward” for his silence in the wake of such anti-Semitism.
The founders of Columbia would be rolling in their graves if they knew what was happening there today. Columbia University began as King’s College in 1754. An early advertisement for the school declared, “The chief thing that is aimed at in this college is to teach and engage children to know God in Jesus Christ.” Somehow, Jesus Christ doesn’t seem so welcome at Columbia these days.
But, alas, Columbia is not unique in terms of pro-Hamas protests. Consider the anti-Israel protests at a number of our most prestigious schools:
After the Hamas attack of October 7, about 30 Harvard student groups famously sent out a pro-Palestinian statement: “We hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence.”
At Cornell University a professor expressed his enthusiasm for what Hamas did on October 7th. He gushed, “It was exhilarating. It was energizing.”
A University of Pennsylvania librarian reportedly tore down posters of Israelis held hostage by Hamas.
And on it goes. What a contrast to the founding of most of these schools.
The Christian foundation of the majority of the great universities in America is well-documented.
For instance, one school stated, “Let every student be plainly instructed and earnestly pressed to consider well the main end of his life and studies is to know God and Jesus Christ which is eternal life, John 17:3, and therefore to lay Christ … as the only sound foundation of all knowledge and learning.” That school was Harvard. Goals that are still high, lofty, and worthy.
But we fast forward to today, and we see the influence of Marxism at war with the Judeo-Christian tradition, and even Jews and Christians themselves.
Last week, Gary Bauer, founder of American Values, wrote: “Jewish students on American university campuses are fearful and hiding in their dorm rooms. The hatred for them is so pronounced that they are hiding on the campuses where their parents are paying $40,000 a year or more for their children to be educated.”
The situation on campus has gotten so bad that Senator Josh Hawley (R, Missouri) proposed a resolution that “unequivocally condemns Hamas and the hateful, antisemitic rhetoric that the recent terrorist attack has inspired on our college campuses.” Democrats blocked his proposal.
The Marxists have taken over some of our most prestigious schools. Marxists believe that there are the oppressors and the oppressed. In the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Jews are allegedly the oppressors, Hamas, the oppressed.
Greg Gutfield, the late night Fox News commentator, pulled no punches on these college professors standing with Hamas: “Isn’t it time to focus on the indoctrinators, not just the indoctrinated? Because it’s the ones doing the brainwashing that matter most. Every day there’s another story about an Ivy League professor praising the murder of Jews. They live in such a bubble that they think those [Israeli] babies deserve to die because they’re oppressors.”
In effect, the Hamas-Israeli crisis has pulled down the veil on what’s been happening in some of our most elite schools of higher learning in the nation. But it’s also true even in a lot of state universities.
So many of them have become hotbeds of Marxism. They have become centers of indoctrination, not education.
Even Bill Maher, the late night libertarian commentator, stated the other day: “As an Ivy League graduate who knows the value of a liberal education, I have one piece of advice for the youth of America: Don’t go to college.” He even said that college “makes you stupid.”
Today a college education is not what it was worth a few decades ago. Some employers are questioning whether a college education is even necessary for candidates they are considering hiring. With trends like the pro-Hamas push on too many campuses, who can blame them?

Federal border authorities apprehending Palestinian migrants crossing into the U.S. illegally are counting them as other nationalities, according to the former chief of Border Patrol and a current agency official who’s familiar with the process.
In addition to the current and former agency officials that confirmed Palestinians aren’t classified as such when they’re apprehended and processed at the border, the DCNF obtained screenshots of Border Patrol’s internal system showing that Palestine is not a category and that searching for it results in “no matches.” Federal intelligence officials have warned that Palestinian terrorists could be crossing the southern border and to be on the lookout for them, according to an internal Customs and Border Protection (CBP) memo first obtained by the DCNF.
Border Patrol agents also confirmed to the DCNF that there are no categories for Gaza or the West Bank in the country of origin classification system.
“There is no written policy on how to record a Palestinian. In my experience, since this falls within the legal borders of Israel, individuals would be documented as Israel and the narrative, which is not easily searchable would likely but not automatically explain that the individual claims to be Palestinian. The narrative is 100% dependent upon what the agent wants to include and what information the agent has time to get,” former Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott told the DCNF.
Roughly 1.6 million Palestinians are citizens of Israel while more than 5.7 million are considered to be refugees living in Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, according to a May report from the Congressional Research Service.
One agent who’s previously processed Palestinians that possessed passports issued by the Palestinian Authority told the DCNF that they classified them as Israeli.
“I processed some Palestinians before this all popped off,” the agent, who requested anonymity because they’re not authorized to speak publicly, said, adding that they processed them as Israeli even though they had passports issued by the Palestinian Authority.
Two other agents confirmed to the DCNF that they can’t classify Palestinians as such.
“When I looked in our processing module, no such category exists,” a second agent told the DCNF.
“It’s not an option in the processing module,” a third agent told the DCNF.
CBP didn’t respond to multiple DCNF requests for comment.

The Israel Defence Forces shared a harrowing 43-minute compilation Monday of Hamas’ surprise terror attack that killed more than 1,400 people — including an interview with a terrorist who admitted that he had clear orders to kill women and children and even rape the bodies of the dead.
The horrific videos and pictures shared with journalists contain graphic evidence of Hamas gunning down, torturing, and decapitating civilians during their invasion across the Gaza border on Oct. 7.

One of the videos shows the shocking moment a group of terrorists, disguised as IDF soldiers, flag down cars passing by before shooting the occupants.
The bodies are then dragged out of the vehicles and left on the side of the road, with the Hamas members then seen robbing the victims’ belongings from the bullet-ridden cars, The Times of Israel reported.
Another video shows a captured member of Hamas admitting that the terrorists “became animals” when carrying out their orders to slaughter and terrorize people across Israel.

It sometimes seems as if the Biden White House actually loves oil: but only if it is produced in other countries run by despots. While the President and his energy secretary, Jennifer Granholm, frequently repeat their desire to close down the US oil and gas industry in just a decade, the President and his appointees have no aversion to entering into deals enabling countries like Iran and Venezuela to pour more of their own oil onto the open market.
From a recent low of just 450,000 barrels of oil exports per day just a year ago, Iran was able to export about 2.2 million bopd in August according to Bloomberg. That increase is the result of the quiet decision by the US to ease off enforcement of its sanctions on Iranian exports starting late last year.
Just this past week, the White House entered into an agreement enabling the Venezuelan government of Nicolas Maduro to ramp up its own oil exports in exchange for Maduro’s promise to allow free elections to take place next year. That move brought criticism from fellow Democrat Joe Manchin, who chairs the Senate Energy Committee:
“On the heels of announcing the smallest five-year offshore oil and gas leasing plan in decades, this administration is turning to Venezuela … one of the world’s dirtiest energy producers and an oppressor of its own people,” Manchin said Thursday.
Wyoming Republican John Barasso told The Hill that the move “shows once again” that President Biden “would rather go to dictators on a bended knee than … allow us to use American energy.” While that is a bit of hyperbole, it is fair to say it is a criticism of this administration that too often has appeared to be valid.
At its base is a seeming disregard within the circle of Biden and his senior officials for the maintenance of US energy security.
[…]
Where Iran is concerned, the White House laughably continues to insist it is enforcing the sanctions even in the face of a 450 per cent rise in Iranian crude exports in just a year.
“We’ve imposed sanctions on Iran for support to Hamas and other terrorist organizations. That is going to continue – believe me,” Politico quoted a senior administration official who was granted anonymity.
What everyone can believe without question is that this administration is willing to make deals with almost any bad actor in the world who is able to pour more oil onto the market. Conversely, it is transparently unwilling to take the logical steps to bolster US and global energy security by scaling back its efforts to hamstring the powerful domestic US industry. When unleashed, this is an industry that has proved in recent years it is capable of increasing US crude production by as much as 2 million barrels per day in just 12 months.
Rolling back its misguided regulatory assault on its own domestic energy producers would be the clearest signal this White House could send to America’s adversaries that it is serious about maintaining the country’s energy security. Making deals with and quietly lifting sanctions on despots like Maduro and the Mullahs in Iran is a clear signal of American weakness, and only serves to embolden the enemies of freedom.

According to Palestinian revisionism, the Palestinians lived from time immemorial in historic Palestine, which is portrayed as a veritable paradise of flourishing orchards and fertile vineyards, teeming with happy peasants. Then, according to the mythic narrative, the Zionists came and, with the support of the British, stole the Palestinians’ land, exiled the people, and initiated a reign of terror and ethnic cleansing that has not abated until this very day.
Since the Six Day War of 1967, the Arab world’s most powerful leaders — in Egypt, Libya, Arabia, Syria, and Iraq prior to Saddam Hussein‘s demise — have waged a war of words against Israel. Having failed to defeat Israel by means of naked military aggression, these leaders and their advisors decided, sometime between the end of the war and the Khartoum Conference of August-September 1967, to bring about the destruction of Israel by means of a relentless terror war.
To justify to the world their ruthless murder of Israeli civilians and their undying hatred of the West, these leaders needed to invent a narrative depicting Israel as a racist, war-mongering, oppressive, apartheid state that was illegally occupying Arab land and carrying out the genocide of an indigenous people that had a stronger claim to the land of Israel than did Israel itself.
Thus the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), under the tutelage of the Soviet KGB, invented “The Palestinian People” who allegedly had been forced to wage a war of national liberation against imperialism.
To justify this notion, Yasser Arafat, shortly after taking over as leader of the PLO, sent his adjutant, Abu Jihad (later the leader of the PLO’s military operations), to North Vietnam to study the strategy and tactics of guerrilla warfare in the hopes that the PLO could emulate Ho Chi Minh’s success with left-wing sympathizers in the United States and Europe. Ho’s chief strategist, General Giap, offered advice that changed the PLO’s identity and future: “Stop talking about annihilating Israel and instead turn your terror war into a struggle for human rights. Then you will have the American people eating out of your hand.”
Giap’s counsel was simple but profound: the PLO needed to work in a way that concealed its real goals, permitted strategic deception, and gave the appearance of moderation. And the key to all this was creating an image that would help Arafat manipulate the American and Western news media.
Arafat developed the images of the “illegal occupation” and “Palestinian national self-determination,” both of which lent his terrorism the mantle of a legitimate peoples’ resistance. After the Six Day War, Muhammad Yazid, who had been minister of information in two Algerian wartime governments (1958-1962), imparted to Arafat some wisdom that echoed the lessons he had learned in North Vietnam:
“Wipe out the argument that Israel is a small state whose existence is threatened by the Arab states, or the reduction of the Palestinian problem to a question of refugees; instead, present the Palestinian struggle as a struggle for liberation like the others. Wipe out the impression . . . that in the struggle between the Palestinians and the Zionists, the Zionist is the underdog. Now it is the Arab who is oppressed and victimized in his existence because he is not only facing the Zionists but also world imperialism.”
The term “Palestine” (Falastin in Arabic) was an ancient name for the general geographic region that is more or less today’s Israel. The name derives from the Philistines, who originated from the eastern Mediterranean, and invaded the region in the 11th and 12th centuries B.C. The Philistines were apparently either from Greece, Crete, the Aegean Islands, and/or Ionia. They seem to be related to the Bronze Age Greeks, and they spoke a language akin to Mycenaean Greek. Their descendants, still living on the shores of the Mediterranean, greeted Roman invaders a thousand years later. The Romans corrupted the name to “Palestina,” and the area under the sovereignty of their city-states became known as “Philistia.” Six-hundred years later, the Arab invaders called the region “Falastin.”
Throughout subsequent history, the name remained only a vague geographical entity. There was never a nation of “Palestine,” never a people known as the “Palestinians,” nor any notion of “historic Palestine.” The region never enjoyed any sovereign autonomy, remaining instead under successive foreign sovereign domains from the Umayyads and Abbasids to the Fatimids, Ottomans, and British.
During the centuries of Ottoman rule, no Arabs under Turkish rule made any attempt to formulate an ideology of national identity, least of all the impoverished Arab peasantry in the region today known as Israel.
The term “Palestinian,” ironically, was used during the British Mandate period (1922-1948) to identify the Jews of British Mandatory Palestine. The Arabs of the area were known as “Arabs,” and their own designation of the region was balad esh-Sham (the province of Damascus). While some Arab nationalist writers, and coffee-shop intellectuals in Cairo or Beirut, developed the concept of Arab nationalism in large part as a response to Zionism, the terms “Palestine” and “Palestinian” were used in their traditional sense as geographic designations, not as national identities.
In early 1947, in fact, when the UN was exploring the possibility of the partition of British Mandatory Palestine into two states, one for the Jews and one for the Arabs, various Arab political and academic spokespersons spoke out vociferously against such a division because, they argued, the region was really a part of southern Syria, no such people or nation as “Palestinians” had ever existed, and it would be an injustice to Syria to create a state ex nihilo at the expense of Syrian sovereign territory.
During the 19 years from Israel’s victory in 1948 to Israel’s victory in the Six-Day War, all that remained of the UN’s partitioned territory to the “Arabs” of British Mandatory Palestine were the West Bank, under illegal Jordanian sovereignty, and the Gaza Strip, under Egyptian rule. Never during these 19 years did any Arab leader anywhere in the world argue for the right of national self-determination for the Arabs of these territories. A “Palestinian” nation and “Palestinian” people had not yet been invented.
Article 24 of the PLO’s original founding document, the PLO Covenant, states: “This Organization (the PLO) does not exercise any regional sovereignty over the West Bank in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in the Gaza Strip or the Himmah area.” For Arafat before the Six-Day War, Palestine was Israel. It was not the West Bank or the Gaza Strip — because the West Bank and the Gaza Strip belonged to other Arab states, and the inhabitants of these areas were not numbered among the Palestinians whose “homeland” Arafat sought to “liberate.” The only “homeland” for the PLO in 1964 was the State of Israel. However, in response to the Six Day War, the PLO revised its Covenant on July 17, 1968, to remove the operative language of Article 24, thereby newly asserting a “Palestinian” claim of sovereignty to the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
This ploy was revealed, perhaps inadvertently, to the West in a public interview with Zahir Muhse’in, a member of the PLO Executive Committee, in a March 31, 1977, interview with the Amsterdam-based newspaper Trouw:
“The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct “Palestinian people” to oppose Zionism. For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.”
Arafat himself said the same thing, on many occasions. In his authorized biography (Terrorist or Peace Maker, by Alan Hart), he is quoted saying: “[T]he Palestinian people have no national identity. I, Yasser Arafat, man of destiny, will give them that identity through conflict with Israel.”
But such admissions did not stem the enthusiasm with which these fictions were greeted by Western leaders. Within a few years, the USSR’s invention of the fictitious narrative of Palestinian national aspirations and rights of self-determination created the façade of morality and legitimacy that the terrorists needed in order to curry favor with the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
