President Trump Slams Biden Family Corruption After Russia Sanctions Hunter, Joe, Hillary

While the Democrat media complex brays for bloodshed and world war III with Russia, no one is asking the obvious questions about Ukraine’s graft and bribery of the Bidens.

Trump Slams Biden Family Corruption After Russia Sanctions Hunter, Joe, Hillary

Former President Donald Trump called President Joe Biden “slow on the draw” in responding to Russian threats on Tuesday, questioning why his family received a multi-million-dollar sum from the wife of a top Russian official in response to the Kremlin announcing sanctions Tuesday on the president, son Hunter Biden, and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

By: Wendell Husebø, Breitbart News, March 17, 2022:

“Breaking News: Russia just sanctioned Joe Biden,” Trump stated. “While that is a terrible thing, in so many ways, perhaps it will now be explained why the Biden family received 3.5 million dollars from the very wealthy former Mayor of Moscow’s wife.”

Hunter received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, one of the richest women in Russia and former wife of Yury Luzhkov, the former mayor of Moscow, a Senate report revealed in September of 2020 about the Biden family’s work in Ukraine.

The 2020 Senate report revealed that the Biden family’s work in Ukraine included “significant” and consistent” financial relationships in Ukraine while Joe Biden was vice president. The New York Post reported:

Their investigative work found that in 2015, two Obama administration officials voiced concerns to White House officials about the possibility that the younger Biden serving on the board of Burisma could create the appearance of a conflict of interest, as his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, oversaw Ukraine policy.

The report states that the Obama White House knew that Hunter’s position prevented “the efficient execution of policy with respect to Ukraine,” but that attempts by officials to raise alarms fell “on deaf ears.”

It also alleged that Hunter “formed significant and consistent financial relationships” with the founder of Burisma, Mykola Zlochevsky, and that his and his business partner Devon Archer’s firms “made millions of dollars from that association” while his father was vice president.

“I have not taken a penny from any foreign source, ever, in my life,” Biden defended his family during the presidential debate. “Nothing was unethical.”

Trump then slammed former Fox News moderator Chris Wallace for opposing Trump’s effort to expose the transaction during a 2020 debate with Biden.

“During our Presidential Debate [sic], ‘moderator’ Chris Wallace, then of Fox, would not let me ask that question,” Trump continued. “He said it was inappropriate.”

“Perhaps that’s why Biden has been so ‘slow on the draw’ with Russia,” Trump added. “This is a really bad conflict of interest that will, perhaps now, be fully and finally revealed!”

On Tuesday, the Russian government announced sanctions on several Democrats and Biden administration affiliates – including Clinton, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley.

The sanctions, which are largely symbolic but block the Americans from traveling to Russia, are a response to similar measures from the White House in response to Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine.

New Iran Deal Allows Russia to Cash-in on $10,000,000,000 Contract to Build Nuclear Sites

Treason is giving aid and comfort to the enemy. How is this not treason? But Biden’s handlers have nothing to worry about. The only people in positions to prosecute them are on their side.

New Iran Agreement Would Let Russia Cash in on $10 Billion Contract To Build Nuclear Sites

by Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, March 16, 2022:

Russia’s top state-controlled energy company is set to cash in on a $10 billion contract to build out one of Iran’s most contested nuclear sites as part of concessions granted in the soon-to-be-announced nuclear agreement that will guarantee sanctions on both countries are lifted.

Russian and Iranian documents translated for the Washington Free Beacon show that Rosatom, Russia’s leading energy company, has a $10 billion contract with Iran’s atomic energy organization to expand Tehran’s Bushehr nuclear plant. Russia and the Biden administration confirmed on Tuesday that the new nuclear agreement includes carveouts that will waive sanctions on both countries so that Russia can make good on this contract.

“We, of course, would not sanction Russian participation in nuclear projects that are part of resuming full implementation of the JCPOA,” State Department spokesman Ned Price confirmed on Tuesday, referring to the original 2015 nuclear accord. Russia’s foreign ministry made a similar statement on Tuesday, saying that “additions were made to the text of the future agreement on JCPOA restoration to ensure that all the JCPOA-related projects, [especially] with Russian participation, as well as Bushehr [nuclear power plant], are protected from negative impact of anti-Russian restrictions” by the United States and European Union….

DHS a No-Show on Afghan Visa Fraud

My commentary today is predicated upon a Department of Justice (DOJ) press release titled, “U.S. Navy Reserves Officer Appeared on Charges of Alleged Bribery and Visa Fraud.”

The statement raises many more questions than it answers — both about the specific case and more broadly about how the Biden DOJ pursues, or refuses to pursue, investigations involving elements of the immigration system.

The effective and accurate screening of aliens who seek to enter the United States is a key responsibility and primary purpose of our immigration system. Indeed, 8 U.S. Code § 1182 enumerates the classes of aliens who are inadmissible because they would pose a threat to public health, public safety, national security, and/or the jobs and wages of American workers.

The issuance of visas is a critical element of the immigration system that is supposed to properly vet aliens and also make certain these aliens are entitled to the categories of visas for which they apply.

The preface of the “9/11 and Terrorist Travel – Staff Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States” report begins with the following paragraph:

It is perhaps obvious to state that terrorists cannot plan and carry out attacks in the United States if they are unable to enter the country. Yet prior to September 11, while there were efforts to enhance border security, no agency of the U.S. government thought of border security as a tool in the counterterrorism arsenal. Indeed, even after 19 hijackers demonstrated the relative ease of obtaining a U.S. visa and gaining admission into the United States, border security still is not considered a cornerstone of national security policy. We believe, for reasons we discuss in the following pages, that it must be made one.

Page 61 of that report contained this passage:

Exploring the Link between Human Smugglers and Terrorists In July 2001, the CIA warned of a possible link between human smugglers and terrorist groups, including Hamas, Hezbollah, and Egyptian Islamic Jihad. Indeed, there is evidence to suggest that since 1999 human smugglers have facilitated the travel of terrorists associated with more than a dozen extremist groups. With their global reach and connections to fraudulent document vendors and corrupt government officials, human smugglers clearly have the “credentials” necessary to aid terrorist travel.

Furthermore, on May 18, 2004, I testified at a hearing conducted by the House Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security ad Claims on the topic, “Pushing the Border Out on Alien Smuggling: New Tools And Intelligence Initiatives.”

The title of that hearing was a reference to how an effectively administered visa program can push U.S. borders out to the consulates and embassies where visas are issued, thereby enhancing national security.

Nevertheless, for unfathomable reasons, the Biden administration has inexplicably worked to undermine border security and immigration law enforcement from within the interior of the U.S. during an especially perilous era.

America faces multiple threats posed by adversarial nations that seek the demise of our nation. America is also threatened by many transnational gangs, narcotics trafficking organizations, and terrorist organizations.

Now we come to the DOJ press release that begins with this excerpt:

A Florida man who serves as a Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserves appeared today on criminal charges related to an alleged bribery scheme involving special visas for Afghan nationals.

According to court documents, Jeromy Pittmann, 53, of Pensacola, Florida, currently residing in Naples, Italy, was paid to draft, submit, or falsely verify false letters of recommendation for citizens of Afghanistan who applied to the U.S. Department of State for Special Immigrant Visas (SIVs).

There is a limited supply of SIVs each year for Afghan nationals employed as translators for U.S. military personnel. Pittmann is alleged to have signed over 20 false letters in which he represented, among other things, that he had supervised the applicants while they worked as translators in support of the U.S. Army and NATO; that the applicants’ lives were in jeopardy because the Taliban considered them to be traitors; and that he did not think the applicants posed a threat to the national security of the United States. In exchange, Pittmann is alleged to have received thousands of dollars in bribes

Pittmann made his initial appearance today. He is charged with accepting bribes and conspiring to commit visa fraud. If convicted of both counts, he faces up to 20 years in prison. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

Assistant Attorney General Kenneth A. Polite Jr. of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division; U.S. Attorney John J. Farley for the District of New Hampshire; Inspector General John F. Sopko of the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR); Special Agent in Charge Eric Maddox of the Economic Crimes Field Office of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS); and Special Agent in Charge Stanley A. Newell of the Transnational Operations Field Office of the Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS) made the announcement.

SIGAR, NCIS, and DCIS are investigating the case.

Let’s begin by noting that the defendant in this case is charged with providing false statements in conjunction with at least 20 applications for visas for aliens who are seeking entry into the U.S. from Afghanistan, a country that has an established nexus with international terrorists groups.

Consider that Biden’s catastrophic policies have created a national security nightmare for America and Americans.

As a rule, such investigations of visa fraud are conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and may also involve agents of the U.S. Department of State.

In this case, however, there is no mention of any ICE agents or State Department agents being involved in the investigation or prosecution. This is significant because in pursuing such investigations, it is of great importance to have agents on board who have expertise in the subject matter to facilitate the investigation or prosecution of violations of the laws involved.

The apparent lack of ICE agents in this case may explain why other criminal charges are not being sought in this case that may well have serious national security implications.

While it is true that the defendant is being charged with accepting a bribe and visa fraud, under the provisions of 18 U.S. Code § 1546 the defendant may face up to 25 years in prison for each of the approximately 20 applications that were filed if the fraud was committed to facilitate terrorism.

This brings us to fact that the press release made no mention as to whether or not any of the aliens actually entered the U.S. or if any were charged with committing fraud or conspiring to commit fraud.

The defendant is alleged to have accepted bribes in exchange for his false statements. However, there is no mention of who provided the money to him. Was an alien smuggling ring involved in this scheme? If so, what is being done to identify all of the participants in such a ring? This sort of investigation is routine for ICE agents but not for those who are involved in this specific case.

I hate to speculate, but given comments made by the DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas indicating he would not pursue most fraud investigations, we cannot ignore the very real possibility that DHS, of which ICE is a component agency, simply refuses to provide assistance in this case or other cases like it.

New York Serial Killer Dismembers Woman and Woke Media Fears to Misgender Him

The New York Times and the BBC have pronoun problems.

Harvey Marcelin is a depraved serial killer who has murdered at least three women, spent over 50 years in prison, and whose recent grisly deeds have just hit the news. But if you were to read about Marcelin in the New York Times or the BBC, you would have thought he was an elderly lady.

That’s right, two of the biggest news brands in the world are so committed to the cult of wokeness that they’re afraid of misgendering a psychopath who literally dismembers his victims.

The Times appears to almost revel in Marcelin’s recently-adopted pronouns, including them twice in its headline: “She Killed Two Women. At 83, She Is Charged With Dismembering a Third”. While both outlets eventually provide readers with enough clues that Marcelin is actually male, their two articles rack up an impressive 20 she/her pronouns collectively along the way.

As Brendan O’Neill of Spiked remarks, two of the Western world’s most established media institutions “are implicitly downplaying the gravity of this terrible incident by depicting it as essentially a scrap between two old ladies.”

We have reached a point, mourns O’Neill, when “the emotional needs of a murderous male take precedence over the experiences of a brutalised woman”. He continues:

They have sacrificed a woman’s truth to the narcissistic delusions of a violent man. Like religious fanatics, they believe their articles of faith are holier than the realities the rest of us see with our own eyes.”

It is difficult to overstate the psychological trick these pronouns play on readers in the context of a serial killer. Having read both the Times and the BBC’s reports, the treachery of Marcelin’s career only hit me when I recast it with the correct words (he and him), as below.

On March 4, police searched Harvey Marcelin’s Brooklyn apartment to discover saw blades and a human head — that of 68-year-old Susan Leyden. Law enforcement found the remainder of Leyden’s body which Marcelin had scattered across various parts of Brooklyn.

Harvey Marcelin has since been charged with second-degree murder and concealment of a human corpse.

Marcelin’s butchery began in 1963, when he murdered his girlfriend in Harlem and was given a life sentence. Less than a year after he was released from jail on lifetime parole for that crime, in 1985, he stabbed another woman to death. Released on parole again in 2019, Marcelin soon met Susan Leyden online and knew her for around two years before taking her life, according to police.

As the Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh points out, it is reasonable to assume that Marcelin’s adoption of a female persona is wrapped up in his murderous fantasies of women. In a 1997 parole board hearing, Marcelin admitted to having “problems” with women — an almost ubiquitous trait among male serial-killers-of-women. Indeed, how common is it to hear of a female serial killer who targets women?

And yet, Walsh scolds, “the New York Times, not to mention the cops, the court system — everybody — they’re all making sure to respect this lunatic’s delusional fetish and even participate in it.” Walsh sees the Marcelin affair as an extreme, though not unprecedented, example of “a problem that permeates our society” — namely:

“We don’t tell people ‘no’. We’re not allowed to say ‘no’ anymore. Nobody says ‘no’. We’re so allergic to ‘no’ that we won’t even say it to a damned serial killer who asks us to affirm his alleged gender identity.”

Because of our unwillingness to say “no”, Marcelin will now likely be put in a women’s prison — which is presumably part of his motive for assuming a female identity in the first place. “Any reasonable person can see that this is almost certainly why he is calling himself a woman,” adds Walsh, “so that he can be housed with women, his prey of choice”.

Woke dogma is now so entrenched in the West that entire institutions now record crimes committed by men as crimes committed by women — if the serial killer merely claims to be a woman. In the process, we are recording for ourselves a false history, misdiagnosing the problems our society faces — and both falsely framing and endangering women. All to avoid hurting someone’s feelings.

Maybe we should start telling the truth instead.

  • According to Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, one of the most egregious mistakes made was to ignore the fact that there’s a thousand-fold difference in risk between the lowest and highest risk groups. Children are at virtually no risk of dying from COVID, yet children have been forced to bear the burden of disease prevention. “Almost from the very beginning of the pandemic, we adopted policies that seem like they were tailor-made to harm children,” he said
  • According to Dr. Sunetra Gupta, what we’ve seen over the past two years is an “inversion of the schedule of uncertainty.” Doubt was cast on things that were certain, while certainty was claimed for things we had no clue about. Decision makers chose to do the very things we knew, for certain, would cause harm. They inverted the precautionary principle to minimize harm, and chose to maximize harm instead

March 7, 2022, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis hosted a roundtable discussion1 about COVID treatment, early treatment suppression, vaccine risks, the collateral damage from school closures and lockdowns, and how to end the COVID theatre once and for all. Panelists included physicians, scientists and academics from around the U.S., including:

Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, a former National Institutes of Health-funded researcher
Dr. Robert Malone, a molecular virologist, bioethicist, vaccine researcher and co-developer of the mRNA vaccine platform
Dr. Tracy Hoeg, Ph.D., an epidemiologist
Dr. Jill Ackerman, a family physician
Dr. Christopher D’Adamo, Ph.D., an epidemiologist and integrative medicine specialist
Dr. Shveta Raju, an internist
Dr. Harvey Risch, Ph.D., professor of epidemiology trained in mathematical modeling of infectious diseases
Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Ph.D., professor of health policy at Stanford, research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and co-author of the Great Barrington Declaration, which calls for focused protection of the most vulnerable2
Dr. Martin Kulldorff, Ph.D., former professor of medicine at Harvard University, now senior scientific director of the Brownstone Institute, a biostatistician and epidemiologist with expertise in vaccine safety evaluation, co-author of the Great Barrington Declaration
Dr. Joseph Fraiman, a rural emergency physician and clinical scientist, specializing in harm-benefit analysis
Dr. Sunetra Gupta, Ph.D., Oxford University professor, an epidemiologist with expertise in immunology, vaccine development and mathematical modeling of infectious disease, co-author of the Great Barrington Declaration

We Must Hold Decision Makers to Account

As noted by Ladapo, one of the things we must remember and remain intent upon as we move forward is to hold people accountable for their public health decisions. Two years after the “two weeks to slow the spread,” we have ample evidence proving the decision makers “didn’t know what they were talking about,” Ladapo says.

They abused their power, they manipulated data, they lied, and they now want us all to forget what they said and did. We cannot let them get away with it. Many errors were made, and those responsible must be held to account.

“Their choices, that they made for everyone, were the wrong choices that led to, basically, no appreciable benefit,” Ladapo says. “We cannot let them forget. We have to hold them accountable. We have to let the country, the world, know what the truth is — because it’s the right thing to do, and because it can happen again if we don’t.”

Thousand-Fold Difference in Risk Was Ignored

Bhattacharya was one of the first to investigate the prevalence of COVID-19 in 2020, and he found that by April, the infection was already too prevalent for lockdowns to have any possibility of stopping the spread.

He points out that one of the most egregious mistakes made was to ignore the fact that there’s a thousand-fold difference in risk between the lowest and highest risk groups. Children and teens are at virtually no risk of dying from COVID. Overall, the risk of COVID is primarily relegated to the very old and those with multiple comorbidities.

Bhattacharya has called the COVID-19 lockdowns the “biggest public health mistake ever made,”3 stressing that the harms caused have been “absolutely catastrophically devastating,” especially for children and the working class, worldwide.4

In some areas of the world, children have not been in school for two years, and the ramifications of that will likely reverberate for decades. Public health has also been negatively impacted by lockdowns and other measures — measures which Bhattacharya states were based in fear, not fact.

Stunning Denials of Science

Kulldorff, in his opening remarks, points out what he believes is one of the most stunning parts of this pandemic, and that is the denial of the basic science of natural immunity. Even doctors and hospitals that “should know better have demanded vaccine mandates for people who have already had COVID,” he says.

Perhaps even worse, hospitals have fired staff who have had COVID and have natural immunity, simply because they did not want to get the experimental jab. Those with natural immunity are not just less likely to get COVID again, they’re also far less likely to spread it to others. This makes them among the most valuable staff members a hospital can have, yet they were routinely discarded.

“That goes against basic principles of public health,” Kulldorff says. “And to have a director of the CDC who questions natural immunity, which we have now, is sort of like having a director of NASA who questions whether the earth is flat or round. It’s just mindboggling that we’ve come into a situation like that.”

Fraiman, whose clinical research expertise includes risk-benefit analysis, also expresses disbelief and frustration over the scientific censorship we’ve seen in the last two years. He points out that many of his colleagues are simply too afraid of getting fired to speak the truth.

DeSantis, similarly, highlights how incredibly difficult it has been to publish and find research that contradicted the official narrative, and even when available, the mainstream media would refuse to acknowledge it, whereas they would endlessly publicize speculation and statements of opinion that had no basis in fact or science, but supported — however flimsily — the official narrative.

I would add that so-called fact checkers have even gone so far as to “fact check” scientific peer-reviewed publications,5,6,7 labeling them as “misinformation” or outright “false,” resulting in their being censored on social media!

That’s an astounding development. It does not bode well for science when noncredentialed individuals with zero experience in the topic at hand are given the authority to decide the “truthfulness” or accuracy of scientists’ work.

The Inversion of the Precautionary Principle

Gupta, who has some 30 years of expertise in mathematical modeling of infectious disease, points out that what we’ve seen over the past two years is an “inversion of the schedule of uncertainty.” In short, doubt was cast on things that were rather certain — so-called “unknowns were not unknown,” Gupta says — while certainty was claimed for things we had no clue about.

“The powers that be told us the measures and restrictions would work, but we didn’t know they would work,” she says. Moreover, we didn’t know what their purpose actually was. “It was a rather incoherent set of goals,” she says. One thing we knew for certain was that lockdowns and other restrictions “would have enormous cost,” she says.

“That was the one thing we were certain about, yet that’s what we went ahead and did. We inverted the precautionary principle of trying to minimize harm, by doing the one thing we knew would cause harm.”

I would add that the scale of that harm was never calculated or addressed at any point along the way. It’s as though it didn’t matter how great the harm was, as long as there was the appearance that we were doing everything in our power to prevent COVID.

Plausibility Versus Science

Risch brings up a similar point, saying we’ve seen a lot of misdirection. What’s been conveyed to the public have been things that are plausible, but not scientific. “There’s a big difference between things that seem plausible and things that are scientific,” he says.

For example, lockdowns are a plausible countermeasure, but they’re not based in science. In fact, all the science we have, show them to be harmful, with little or no benefit whatsoever. “The same has been true for medications,” Rish says.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration put out warnings saying that hydroxychloroquine should not be used in outpatients, even though they had no data on outpatient use of the drug. They only had data on in-hospital use, and the two situations are not comparable.

Early COVID symptoms are completely different from symptoms of later-stage, severe infection and the two stages require completely different treatments. Hydroxychloroquine only works well when used very early. It’s not useful in the later stages, and frontline doctors were well aware of this.

No Justification for Mandating Vaccines for Children

Malone — speaking on behalf of the International Alliance of Physicians and Medical Scientists,8 which currently has some 17,000 members — stressed that, in terms of COVID policies, the Alliance has “made a series of very clear, unambiguous statements.”

“There is no justification for mandating vaccines for children. Full stop,” he says. “We’re of the strong opinion that if there is risk there must be choice. This is fundamental bioethics 101.”

As noted in the second Physicians Declaration9 by dated October 29, 2021, children’s clinical risk from SARS-CoV-2 infection is negligible and long term safety of the shots cannot be determined prior to the enactment of mandatory vaccination policies. Not only are children at high risk for severe adverse events, but having healthy, unvaccinated children in the population is crucial to achieving herd immunity. Malone continues:

“No. 2, as far as we’re concerned, there is no medical emergency now, and there is therefore no justification for the declaration of medical emergency and the suspension of rights …”

The Alliance also condemns “the hunting of physicians and the restriction of physicians’ ability to prescribe and treat with early treatment.” With regard to vaccines, Malone also highlights the fact that while a Pfizer/BioNTech COVID injection has been approved by the FDA, that product is not available.

So, there is NO FDA approved COVID “vaccine” on the market in the U.S. The only products available in the U.S., for children and adults alike, are emergency use authorization (EUA) products, for which liability is waived.

Now, in order for the COVID injections to qualify for EUA, there could not be any other treatments available, which appears to have been the driving factor behind the suppression of early treatment with repurposed drugs such as hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.

Mask Mandates Have Not Had Any Benefit

Speaking to the issue of mask mandates, Hoeg has published several studies, looking at the effects of universal mask wearing. One of them assessed compliance and outcomes in the Wisconsin school system. On average, 92% of children complied with the mask wearing, and only seven students out of 7,000 caught COVID during the 2021 school year.

This was used by media to proclaim that masks work. The problem is, there was no control group, and the low infection rate could have been due to anything. Hoeg points out we have studies from Scandinavia, where masks were not worn, and they too had extremely low infection rates among children.

Again and again, we’ve seen that children just aren’t susceptible to COVID, especially not severe infection. So, low incidence really says nothing about the effectiveness of masks.

DeSantis also notes that neighboring schools — one that had a mask mandate and another that did not — had no discernible difference in infection rates, which he believes is rather compelling evidence that mask mandates have no benefit. What’s more, of the two largest randomized controlled trials, both showed that masks do not prevent the spread of infection.

According to Hoeg, we’ve inverted the precautionary principle with respect to mask wearing as well. Without any high-quality evidence of benefit, we’ve chosen to mask children even though we know there are harms. They interfere with communication, impede learning, hinder breathing, promote bacterial infections and more.

The Collateral Damage Has Been Immense

As noted by Fraiman, any time you consider a public health measure, you have to conduct a thorough risk-benefit analysis. Who may benefit and to what degree? What are the harms, who will be harmed the most, what’s the extent of the collateral damage? Do the benefits outweigh all of the risks?

In the case of school closures, “the collateral damage has been immense,” Fraiman says. Physical and mental health has been impacted. According to Fraiman, there’s been a doubling of obesity and diabetes, for example, during the pandemic. There’s been a dramatic increase in anxiety, depression and stress.

Recent statistics show a shocking spike in fentanyl overdose deaths among high school-aged adolescents in the U.S. during 2020 and 2021. This graph, from a December 24, 2021, preprint article10 posted on medRxiv and tweeted11 out by Dr. John B., a scientist, illustrates the situation better than words.

According to the authors:12

“Adolescent overdose mortality saw a sharp increase between 2019 and 2020, from 2.35 per 100,000 to 4.58 per 100,000, representing a 94.3% increase, the largest percent increase of any 5-year age group …

Trends were driven by fatalities involving IMFs [illicitly-manufactured-fentanyls], which nearly tripled from 2019 to 2020, and represented 76.6% of adolescent overdose deaths in 2021 … Our results should also be understood in the context of rising rates of adolescent mental illness during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

“I think it’s quite clear that the collateral damage outweighed any benefit that was there,” Fraiman says. “So, I think we need to take a more systems-level approach before embarking on this kind of policy the next time.”

Was Harming Children Intentional?

Bhattacharya adds, “Almost from the very beginning of the pandemic, we adopted policies that seem like they were tailor-made to harm children.” Lower-income children were disproportionally harmed by lockdowns and school closures. “The effect on these kids has been catastrophic,” he says.

He cites a study that calculated that, as a result of the school closures during the spring of 2020, children in the U.S. will lose 5.5 million life years. Lost learning literally ripples through the child’s entire lifetime. They lead less healthy and shorter lives and are more likely to be steeped in poverty.

In some areas of the world, schools have been closed for nearly two years. As noted by Bhattacharya, we’ve “robbed an entire generation of their birthright.” Mask mandates have made the impact on children even worse.

He points out that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is the only public health agency in the world that still recommends masking toddlers, “with literally not a single study showing it has any consequence on the spread of the disease.”

“The only reason they continue to mask [toddlers] is because [the toddlers] are powerless,” he says. “We’ve adopted this idea that children are the central problem; children are the ones who should bear all the burden of infection control.

In fact, that’s not true. It has revealed the values we have as a society, and it’s not a pretty picture. None of this has actually worked to protect the vulnerable. Still, 80% of the deaths are in people over 65. What have these restrictions on children bought? Not very much, if at all. And it’s caused tremendous harm that we’re going to have to address for years to come.”

Florida Recommends Against COVID Shots for Healthy Children

In late February 2022, Ladapo and DeSantis also updated the state’s policy on masks, formally discouraging mask wearing.13 Toward the end of the roundtable, Ladapo announced the Florida Department of Health would also formally recommend against COVID shots for healthy children, aged 5 to 17,14 as they “may not benefit from receiving the currently available COVID-19 vaccines.”

During the roundtable, risks such ass myocarditis were also discussed. Florida is the first state to go against the CDC’s vaccine recommendations. In a statement published with the new guideline, March 8, 2022,15 Ladapo said:

“Based on currently available data, the risks of administering COVID-19 vaccination among healthy children may outweigh the benefits. These decisions should be made on an individual basis, and never mandated.”

The Problems with Our Elections Won’t Fix Themselves

Wisconsin state Assembly Speaker Robin Vos admitted there was widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election in a meeting yesterday, but claimed the state legislature does not have the power to decertify the results. “I think there was widespread fraud,” Vos said, “and I think we are going to see more and more data that comes out” as the investigation continues. The investigation in Wisconsin has already found potential illegality in the way elections officials directed private money to boost turnout in Democrat areas.  The investigation also found signs of election fraud in nursing homes.

Meanwhile, lots of things have happened in recent weeks undermining claims the 2020 election was the fairest and most secure ever.  Here is a sampling of stories indicating we still have a long way to go to get our election system back in order:

A citizens group in Georgia found election results in 2020 were electronically manipulated using a cloud computing scheme.   An audit by the Georgia Secretary of State found more than 2,000 noncitizens tried to register to vote.

An Arizona woman pleaded guilty to ballot trafficking in the 2020 primary election.   A Senate study in Arizona found that 200,000 mail ballots with invalid signatures were counted in 2020.  The Arizona Republican Party sued Arizona’s Secretary of State to stop the unconstitutional use of drop boxes and no-excuse mail-in voting.

A Michigan elections official was charged with ballot tampering in the August 2020 primary election. A nursing home employee in Michigan was sent to jail for forging signatures of mentally disabled residents on absentee ballot applications.   A lawsuit accuses Michigan’s Secretary of State of illegally using private money to increase Democrat turnout in the 2020 election.

A citizens group in Tennessee found chain of custody and other problems, and say elections officials are ignoring their complaints.

A state court ruled mail-in voting in Pennsylvania is unconstitutional because it was instituted by statute instead of an amendment to the state’s constitution.  The Pennsylvania Supreme Court reinstated mail-in voting temporarily, pending further litigation.

A suit in Delaware alleges a statute allowing early voting violates the state’s constitution.

North Carolina removed 430,000 inactive voters from the rolls to settle a lawsuit.  Out-of-date voter rolls are an issue all across the country, with elections officials resisting efforts to clean them up.

That’s enough for now, but know there are further reports around the country of foreigners hacking into state election systems, illegal ballot harvesting, illegal drop boxes, double-scanning of ballots, voter ID requirements being ignored, and more nursing home fraud, among other things.

What do Democrats do in the face of all these problems?  They resist doing anything about them, like it was a religion or something.  Illinois broke federal law by refusing to give a voter integrity group access to the state’s voter rolls, a federal court ruled.  National Democrats are going after 111 Republican lawyers in 26 states who challenged various aspects of the 2020 election, despite the fact many challenges were successful.  Meanwhile, the January 6th Committee is targeting Republican who have donated money to election integrity efforts.

Given this odd behavior, you’d think Democrats are trying to steal elections and intimidate anybody who tries to stop them. And you’d be right. So now is the time for all good citizens to come to the aid of their country.  Let’s get these problems cleaned up, so we can get back to free and fair elections and have confidence in our election system once more.

VIDEO: Sometimes Conservation is a Bear

How do we find the best solutions for both bears, and people too?

That’s what Gabriella Hoffman set off to find out on the latest episode of CFACT’s Conservation Nation series. Hoffman traveled to Montana and Wyoming to interview stakeholders and find out what’s really going on with Grizzly and Black Bear conservation.

Watch the full episode.

Environmentalists would have you believe that to properly conserve nature, humans must have zero interaction with it. Nothing could be further from the truth. When people are properly managing lands and wildlife, both people and animals thrive. That’s exactly the point those on the ground in Big Sky Country working with the bears had to say.

Listen to their stories for yourself!

Hoffman also brought this “conservation is conservative” message to several college campuses as well, including Florida State and Appalachian State University in North Carolina. Speeches at Michigan Technical University, George Mason University, Boston University, and the Ohio State University are also scheduled.

Students got to hear about how hunting and fishing helps drive conservation efforts, and why proper use of our federal lands (by allowing energy production on them!) helps fund National Parks and drive energy independence.

If only some representatives from the Biden Administration could have attended and learned something!

Finally, every week, CFACT promotes a commonsense conservation message through Hoffman’s District of Conservation podcast, sponsored by CFACT. Check out some of the latest episodes, like this one that covers how Virginia is now open for hunting on Sundays, and this one that lambasts Biden’s energy and land use policies for playing into Putin’s hands when it comes to gas prices.

Share these videos and podcasts with a friend, and let’s spread the word that real conservation requires humans to be involved through free markets, smart ideas, and local stakeholders.

PODCAST: Divine comedy? Or just plain Biden madness?

Here’s this week’s Shout Out Patriots Show: Biden is running America like a Saturday Night Live comedy script.

First, thanks to all those who have been listening or watching our show and keeping Shout Out Patriots in the top 25% of all podcasts. Our show has been tremendously successful – in no small part – because of friends of Christian Action Network.

If you haven’t seen our show in a while, please take another look.

We have improved both our sound and video quality and I think you’ll be more than pleased with the amazing results.

Have you ever found yourself laughing at the news, even if begrudgingly?

Lately, reading the news is more like reading a bad Saturday Night Live comedy script. But since laughter is the best medicine, a few chuckles here and there might help us survive the daily dose of deplorably depressing news.

In this episode of Shout Out Patriots, we are bringing attention to some of the dumbest, comical and cringeworthy statements and actions made by world leaders during the past couple of weeks.

How about Joe Biden’s statement earlier this month claiming that five cops died during the January 6, 2021, Capitol Hill riots?

No cops died that day. Just protesters.

Or that bizarre photo of Vladimir Putin surrounding himself with five beautiful female flight attendants and pilots?

The Russian president is normally pictured at least 10-feet away from state dignitaries over his fear of catching Covid.

Does Putin know something Fauci isn’t telling us? That Covid can be shielded by five beautiful women?

Not to be outdone by Biden or Putin, the United Nations added some twaddle of its own this month.

The world body instructed its staff not to describe the Ukrainian conflict as a “war” or an “invasion.” Such trigger words might present the organization with a “reputational risk, the UN warned.

Perhaps the UN forgot about this 2015 headline that already ruined that reputation:

“UN aid workers raped 60,000 people and employs 3,300 pedophiles.”

And how do we understand this nonsense from the Biden administration on how to survive a nuclear war:

“Stay inside for 24 hours unless local authorities provide other instructions. Continue to practice social distancing by wearing a mask and by keeping a distance of at least six feet between yourself and people who not part of your household.”

Even Biden can’t believe that social distancing while wearing a face mask is sufficient to protect one from a thermal nuclear fireball, does he?

Of course not, at least we hope.

How Zelensky used social media to his advantage

It is generally acknowledged that following the news on social media has become more important, more popular and more influential than watching television news networks, which we always used to use to find out what was happening in the world. The Ukraine-Russia crisis has proven the validity of this theory beyond any doubt.

This justifies the fact that world leaders are turning to social media to convey their messages to their people in a simple manner on a platform that is followed by different age groups around the globe.

Before this conflict, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was barely known as a politician outside of his country; rather, he was the actor who became a president twice: Once on TV and once in real life.

Zelensky, as an actor, had a large social media following prior to his presidential bid, making it easier for his campaign to communicate and appeal to Ukrainian voters. In 2019, he won 73.2 percent of the vote in a runoff contest to beat incumbent Petro Poroshenko to the presidency.
Since the Russian invasion of his country, how has this inexperienced politician been able to get so much support from the world’s people? And how did he succeed in mobilizing such great help for the Ukrainian people, government and army?

Since the first day of the crisis, social media has helped the Ukrainians internationalize their cause and motivate European countries and the US to do everything they can to support their resistance.

Zelensky has emerged as a global hero. He set the example of a true leader when he rejected an American offer to evacuate him and his family to a safer location, saying: “I need ammunition, not a ride.” The New York Times said this phrase “will most likely go down in Ukrainian history, whether he survives this onslaught or not.”
This position brought to mind how Afghan President Ashraf Ghani last year fled the country when Taliban forces reached the outskirts of Kabul, leaving his army without leadership and encouraging troops to quickly give up. Ghani’s decision prompted the Americans and the wider Western community to wonder about the benefits of training the Afghanistan army and arming it, spending so much money, if forcing its surrender was that simple.

Zelensky understands very well the importance and influence of social media. He began flooding platforms with simple, impassioned and highly effective speeches, while also posting photos and videos of him and his government in the devastated streets of the capital, Kyiv, to deny all reports that he had fled the city or sought refuge in a neighboring country.

His social media following has significantly increased during the war. He has used his channels to provide continuous updates and as a platform to publicly address world leaders. At the time of writing, Zelensky has 14.1 million followers on Instagram and 4.7 million Twitter followers.

The Ukrainian leader knew how important it would be to win the sympathy and support of the world’s people. He understands the importance of public opinions and poll numbers in the Western world. Therefore, he speaks to the people, especially the younger generations that criticize their rulers for sending young people into wars they do not understand, while keeping their own children at home.

Millions of people subsequently took to the streets in many parts of the world to demand their rulers provide humanitarian and military aid to support the Ukrainian government and people. Zelensky has won the public opinion battle and succeeded in getting help. At the same time, he has inspired his fellow Ukrainians to defend their land just like their president.

I would say Zelensky has cleverly used social media platforms to aid his country’s cause. Without his media strategy, the situation could be far worse for Ukraine.

The War Between Those Who Want to be Adored and those Who Adore

“I was not born to be free—I was born to adore and obey.” ― C.S. Lewis

My wife asked me do I want to be adored or to adore? I will give you my answer to her at the end of this article.

After listening to this question I suddenly understood what ails the world yesterday, today and tomorrow. Adoration!

Adoration is defined as: deep love and respect, worship or veneration.

QUESTION: Who are what do you love, respect, worship or venerate?

To adore oneself or not to adore oneself, that is the question.

There are those who adore themselves, they adore a particular ideology, they worship a deity, they venerate objects.

Many have written about the Culture War we are experiencing. Many have written about the so called Woke Culture and Wokeism.

QUESTION: What is the foundation, the undergirding idea behind the Woke Culture?

ANSWER: It’s all about adoration!

Adoration

Today there are roughly two groups of people, those who adore themselves and those who adore a higher calling. Let’s list what each of these groups adore.

Those who adore themselves:

  • Politicians.
  • The political class.
  • The elite.
  • Dictators, be they Fascist, Communists, Nazis, Islamists or just plain mean.
  • Hollywood actors, directors, producers, in general.
  • The LGBTQ+ community and those who support their agenda. After all they have “Gay Pride” month. Isn’t pride self-adoration?
  • Environmentalists.
  • Scientists.
  • Government officials at every level.
  • Corporate CEOs, who no longer care about their customers but are self absorbed in adoring themselves and all of the above.
  • The rich and powerful who control the legacy media, social media and what we see in films, TV and hear on the radio. Those who adore themselves are the ultimate propagandists.

The above list of self-adorers are interconnected and act according to their love of themselves and their collectivist ideals. They support one another to push policies that are anti-liberty, anti-life and anti-individual. For them it’s either idolize me or face sever consequences.

Those who adore a higher calling:

  • Those who love the God of Abraham. Except those who Jews who are part of the group above.
  • Those who love Jesus the Son of God. Except those Christians, including the Pope, who are part of the group above.
  • Those who love Allah, however some of these are starting to adore themselves more than their God.
  • Those who love their country. In America this group is called patriots.
  • Those who love their role in the traditional family made up of a mother, father and their biological children.
  • Those who love the sinner but hate their sins.
  • Those who believe in life, liberty and the individual pursuit of happiness.

Adoring one’s wife, family, children, grandchildren, country, God, etc. have a totally different world view than those who adore themselves. This group serve a higher calling. It’s not about the individual it’s about doing the right things. This group judges others by the content of their character not the color of their skin or political belief system.

The Bottom Line

Those who adore themselves think of what is good for me, myself and I. Those who adore on a higher plain think about others and doing the right thing.

Peter Kreeft said, “Only God may be adored, because only God is unlimited goodness, truth, and beauty, and thus only God deserves unlimited love.”

Canadian philosopher and author Matshona Dhliwayo wrote, “If a woman stands behind you, respect her; if she stands beside you, cherish her; if she stands with you, adore her.”

Now I will tell you how I answered by wife of 57 years when she asked me would you rather be adored or adore.

I told her that I would rather adore God and His Son, her, our son, our daughter-in-law, our grandchildren and our family.

I also adore my country, after have served in the United States Army for 23-years my love of my country, our flag and our Constitution is unyielding. Many of those I served with gave the last full measure of devotion to the nation. They to I adore for their sacrifices.

Do not adore is wrong, just don’t adore yourself, take the high ground and adore a higher calling. You will be happier, healthier and blessed.

Florida Company Shows California How to Build a Railroad With Its Brightline Rail System

A private company in Florida already has a new intercity passenger railroad up and running for a fraction of the cost of California’s ambitious high-speed rail.

When the Federal Government ordered the construction of the Interstate Highway System in the 1950s and 1960s (at a cost to taxpayers of roughly $580 billion in 2022 dollars), it all but killed America’s privately operated passenger railroads. Since then, rail travel in America has mostly consisted of government-subsidized Amtrak services of deteriorating quality that amble across the country, catering to a niche market of leisure travelers and those with no other options. On the busy Northeast Corridor between Boston and Washington D.C. there is still enough demand to operate a busy, profitable service, but elsewhere Amtrak’s services are too slow, inconvenient, and infrequent to effectively compete with highways and airlines.

But with gas prices rising and traffic congestion strangling many American cities, passengers, investors, and government planners are all reconsidering railroads. Several new projects have sprung up across the country, aiming to link major cities a few hundred miles apart, where a train might provide a more convenient journey than a plane, car, or bus. Some of these projects are led by state governments, others by private companies. The contrast between the two is dramatic. To illuminate that difference, compare the government-run California High Speed Rail project with Brightline, a new private rail system in Florida.

Approved in 2008, California High Speed Rail (CHSR) was expected to deliver a 520-mile two-track, electrified high-speed railway on an all-new route between Los Angeles and San Francisco by 2029. Fourteen years later, CHSR is now only expected to have a 171-mile single-track section between Madera and Bakersfield will be operational by 2030. Meanwhile the project’s cost has ballooned to $80 billion from an original budget of $33 billion, and costs are expected to rise further to $100 billion, or triple the original budget.

Meanwhile in Florida, a very different kind of passenger railroad is already up and running. Brightline was launched in 2012 by the Florida East Coast Railway, a private freight railroad. Unlike CHSR, Brightline mostly uses existing routes, removing the need to acquire (or appropriate) large amounts of land. Instead of building the whole line before beginning any passenger services (as CHSR is doing), Brightline began construction on a 70-mile section from Miami to West Palm Beach in 2014 and opened it to passengers in 2018. This meant that Brightline already had an operational, revenue-producing service before embarking on the 170-mile northward extension to Orlando Airport. That extension is expected to open in 2023, and the entire project will cost about $1.75 billion, raised through private financing.

This equates to about $7.3 million per mile for Brightline, compared to $153.8 million per mile for CHSR (using the current $80 billion budget). Why will CHSR cost at least twenty times more per mile than Brightline? How has Brightline managed to deliver a high-speed intercity passenger rail system within ten years whereas CHSR needs twenty-two years to deliver an incomplete, scaled-down version of its original plan? Much of the answer comes down to the fundamental nature of public works projects such as CHSR.

In his Economics in One Lesson, economist Henry Hazlitt noted that many (if not most) public works projects do not even aim to address a clear need. Instead, said Hazlitt, they are justified in two ways: in terms of the jobs they create, and the end product they will produce. However, this overlooks the many alternative ways in which private individuals and businesses may have spent the money that the government instead appropriated through taxation and allocated to the project. When a private business spends money on a project, it expects a return on its investment. As such, it aims to provide a product it expects people to want or need.

However, a government agency advancing a public project doesn’t need to do this. The government can force people to pay for whatever undertaking it chooses, regardless of whether there is a real need, or whether the project is a wise solution for that need. The result of this, as Hazlitt notes, is that projects are created for their own sake, for the activity and job creation that follows, not to solve an actual need. Such a project does not deliver good value for money, as the motivation is not to produce the best product for the cheapest price, but to create a large project involving as much activity as possible.

The comparison between CHSR and Brightline is an excellent example of Hazlitt’s observation. Both projects will, if completed, provide a useful service that will benefit many people, but CHSR will do so using an astronomical amount of money that could have been put to myriad other uses. It will succeed in its goal of creating a project to generate activity, regardless of whether it ever delivers a viable or even operational railway. A private company considering providing a new transport option must assess demand for that new service, determine the likely revenue, and therefore how much it can afford to spend creating it. Brightline did this, planning its project with a budget proportional to demand and raising that money from investors who expect a return.

Conversely, CHSR’s budget is completely divorced from the revenues it will produce, and there is no expectation for it ever to make a profit. As such, the project is massively over-engineered, with numerous large viaducts that pass over empty desert, and several grand landmark bridges and structures designed more to look impressive than to satisfy a need. This, combined with CHSR’s promotional materials, show that the project is designed to “create” jobs and give California an impressive megaproject. In a recent press release, CHSR proudly celebrated having created 6,000 jobs for local workers—but it’s not even close to finishing the much-reduced central section of the high speed railway it’s building. Not only does Brightline have a system moving passengers and producing revenue, but it’s also provided Miami with a shining new retail and residential development above its station in the heart of downtown. This is because private railroads rely on more than just passenger revenues to pay the bills—they also get revenue from developing the property they own. This is commonplace in Japan, where private railways build and operate shopping malls around their city center stations, with the mall and the railway both driving up each other’s revenues.

We should let businesses identify demand and satisfy it accordingly. The resulting projects will do a better job of serving actual needs, will be more numerable, and will encourage more economic growth to fund further projects in the future. Private projects may not create as many jobs in the short term as public ones, but they create a far more prosperous economy in the long run. Brightline is now planning another railway to span the 270 miles between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Let’s see how quickly it will deliver a completed project compared to CHSR, with the latter’s fourteen-year head start.

CHSR exemplifies what happens when the government manages a major project—delays, budget overruns, and needless expenditure. Brightline shows what is possible when a private business is in control. Sadly, America’s original railroads were driven out of business by government-funded roads and airports (many of which are now in dire need of repair). Let’s hope Brightline is the first of a new generation of private rail projects that will reintroduce some entrepreneurial spirit into the transportation industry in the United States.

Distorting Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill

If some parent wants their children exposed to Drag Queen Story Hour or the like, it’s a free country. But why should those who don’t agree with that view have their children exposed to something they believe is wrong? They should not. And this bill favors parental rights over the “progressive” bullies.

The bill’s opening words are: “Parental Rights in Education.” It goes on to say that it aims to “reinforce fundamental right of parents to make decisions regarding upbringing & control of their children.”

The law “prohibits classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity in certain grade levels.” What are those levels? Kindergarten through third grade. In other words, children generally nine years old and younger.

In fact, Gov. Ron DeSantis proclaimed, “The media can’t defend injecting sexual topics like transgenderism into classrooms for kindergarteners, so they concoct false narratives to try to divert attention from this fact in the hopes that people will not read the bill.”

The biggest of those false narratives is the left’s characterization—and the media’s parroting—of it as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. Most who receive their news from the mainstream media have no idea that the bill (which does not mention the word “gay” or “homosexuality” anywhere in it) merely keeps sexualized topics out of the classrooms of kindergartners through third graders—where few sane people believe those topics belong in the first place.

Controversy surrounding this bill raises many questions. The most important of them is: Who is responsible for the children’s well-being, the parents or the state?

The Bible says that the parents are, and that God has made us male and female.

Biology says we are male and female. One or the other. For example, the National Institute for Health notes,

“The biological differences between the sexes have long been recognized at the biochemical and cellular levels. Rapid advances in molecular biology have revealed the genetic and molecular bases of a number of sex-based differences in health and human disease.”

In August 2020, I interviewed Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, who noted that one silver lining from the pandemic was that parents got to see, many for the first time, what their children were actually being taught in their children’s schools.

He told me,

“When you take a look at the sex ed curriculum, there is an effort to indoctrinate children, not only in sexual activity, but within the whole LGBTQ agenda in terms of creating sexual confusion among our children.”

I once interviewed Walt Heyer, a former transsexual. He had sex-reassignment surgery in 1983 because he believed he was a woman trapped in a man’s body. For the first eight years as a “woman,” he felt relieved. But then his depression came back and was even worse. When Jesus healed him, he embraced his original identity.

Heyer now runs the organization Sex Change Regret. He notes that over 40% of those who have had “gender reassignment surgery” have attempted suicide.

He added that gender dysphoria is a form of depression. And while puberty blockers and sex reassignment surgeries may provide temporary relief, they don’t address the root issue:

“When you don’t like who you are at the core of who you are, you’re depressed about who you are.”

Why should parents, who are responsible for their children’s education and well-being, have to pick up the pieces as our society recklessly destroys these little children and their futures?

If it becomes law, I believe Florida’s legislation will prove to be a step in the right direction for a culture mired in moral relativism.

Energy Expert and Congressional Candidate, Niki Conforti, on Biden’s Energy Policies

WHEATON, Ill. /PRNewswire/ — As a candidate for Illinois’ 6th Congressional District and an Energy Consultant, I feel compelled to speak out on the current state of energy in America, because America’s energy policy is a matter of National Security.

Being energy dependent as a country, as we are today, is not only costly to the American people, it weakens America’s position on the world stage.

By subverting our own energy suppliers, the Biden administration and their policies have put us at the mercy of foreign oil. It shifts the power structure away from America to countries like IranVenezuelaChina – and RussiaRussia’s invasion of Ukraine is just one adverse effect of this transfer of power.

Regaining energy independence will again tip the scales of the world power in America’s favor. America is the largest force of good in the world. A strong America will keep tyrant countries in check and benefit the whole world.

At home, being energy independent will lower the price of gas to fill our tanks and heat our homes. Lowering prices will temper inflation – which is at a 40 year high today.

As an off set to this, the current Administration is pushing renewable energy and electric vehicles. According to one executive order signed by Biden, the US is to achieve 100% carbon free electricity by 2030 and 100% electric vehicles by 2035.

This is not feasible. Renewable energy is not the sole solution for American energy as advocated by this administration.

One reason is the battery storage that is needed requires lithium, which is mostly produced in China. Beyond that, we would need to utilize much of today’s farmland and natural preserves for wind and solar fields to meet the demand for energy. Not to mention the problem with disposing of them and the costs involved.

Pushing renewables as the panacea to our energy needs will keep us dependent on foreign countries, like China, and lead to more problems down the road.

White House Sends VP Kamala to Tout Biden’s ‘Achievements’

According to a report Wednesday, epically incompetent Vice President Kamala Harris is being deployed by the White House to tout boss Joe Biden’s purported “achievements” at home while he jets off to Europe to meet with other leaders from NATO.

Fresh off humiliating herself and the United States on the world stage, Kamala will reportedly use the trips to address infrastructure, expanded broadband access, and key executive orders signed by Biden.

“While the Cabinet has been doing a good job hitting the road as much as possible, there is just no way any secretary can bring the star power and local media attention as Vice President Harris can,” a Democrat strategist told The Hill.

Star power? She has become an object of international mockery by proving at every turn that she is way out of her depth as a political leader.

“And as a lot of accomplishments, especially from the infrastructure bill are starting to kick in, it is perfect timing to be sharing specific — dare I say concrete— examples in local communities of how they will be benefiting,” the strategist added.

Accomplishments starting to kick in? What planet does this strategist live on? Certainly not this one, where every American can see exactly what a catastrophic job the Biden administration has done thus far.

Sending the brain-dead VP around the country to tout Biden’s “expanded broadband access” will convince no one that this administration has been a success.

Harris Launches Presidential Campaign With a Speech Depicting America As a Nation Replete with “Racism, Sexism, Anti-Semitism, Homophobia, Transphobia”

On January 21, 2019, Harris announced that she was launching a campaign for the presidential election of 2020. Six days later, she kicked off her campaign with a speech before thousands of supporters in Oakland, California. Early in her talk, Harris asserted that: (a) “our criminal justice system [is] deeply flawed” and needs to become “more fair”; (b) President Trump’s proposed border wall was nothing more than a “medieval vanity project” that would do nothing to protect Americans; and (c) “our Dreamers [illegal aliens who first arrived in the U.S. as minors] … came by the thousands … because they believe in our democracy and the only country they’ve ever known as home.”

Harris subsequently enumerated a series of unflattering “truths” about American life. Among them was the following:

  • “Racism, sexism, anti-Semitism, homophobia, transphobia are real in this country. They are age-old forms of hate with new fuel. And we need to speak that truth so we can deal with it.”

Harris proceeded to condemn the “powerful forces trying to sow hate and division among us.”

TEXAS: Ranchers’ Lives Disrupted by Migrant Trespassers, Break-Ins, Gun Threats, Assaults, Destruction of Property

In a troubling exclusive that mainstream media continues to avoid, Breitbart reports about the crisis at the Southern border.

The role of government is to improve the lives of its citizens and prioritize national security, but that’s not Joe Biden’s concern.

In a relatively short space of time, Biden’s leadership has been catastrophic for America. His mishandling of Afghanistan, his reckless open-door immigration policy, his disastrous pursuit of a new Iran nuclear deal, his incompetence in dealing with Russia, and more — there is just no end in sight to the damage that Biden continues to do to American interests.

Few among media have adequately covered the crime and national security risks posed by the wide-open Southern border. On top of everything else, there is a jihad threat. In 2019, the Mexico “terror path” was proven, as jihadis infiltrated the refugee stream and entered the U.S. Judicial Watch stated:

More evidence has emerged that Middle East jihadists are entering the United States through the Mexican border. The organization long has presented evidence that terrorists have entered through Texas and reports of ISIS training camps not far from the U.S. border.

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Border Crisis Disrupts Texas Ranchers’ Lives ‘Worse than Ever,’ Says Governor

by Bob Price, Breitbart, March 14, 2022:

EAGLE PASS, Texas — Thousands of migrants marching through Texas ranches as far as 80 miles from the U.S. border continues to disrupt the lives of those who live and work in these regions. Governor Greg Abbott told Breitbart Texas the chaos and crime in these areas are “worse than it has ever been.”

“Their lives have been disrupted like never before,” Governor Abbott said in an exclusive interview late last week. “There are people coming in across the border and going onto the land, cutting fences that hold in cattle, sometimes cattle are lost as a result of it.”

He said these trespassers are “breaking into homes, destroying property, sometimes, pointing a gun at people’s heads. It is worse than it’s ever been.”

The governor said the volume of migrant crossings adds to the created chaos on ranches in south Texas. He added that this is not simply unaccompanied minors or family units that are making the trek through the ranches.

“These are people who are trying to not get caught,” Abbott explained. “People who are coming here, some of whom have criminal records. We know that because of some of the people we have arrested.”

Breitbart Texas spoke with officials with the Texas Military Department about the arrests taking place by brush team soldiers on ranches.

“Over the past 90 days, the brush team has supported more than 1,000 apprehensions along the Texas-Mexico border,” TMD Director of Communications Rita Holton told Breitbart. “Approximately 30 percent of these individuals apprehended had a prior criminal record for activities such as sexual assault, drug smuggling, and human smuggling.”

A TMD military officer who commands the brush team operations told Breitbart they are the “last line defense” against the migrants who intend to get into the U.S. interior without being screened or apprehended.

“We use a variety of sensors and techniques to identify where these folks are coming from and where they are going,” the officer stated. “We are on our feet eight to 15 miles per night using ‘old school tracking’ and the technology available for our mission.”

He explained groups range in size from five migrants to more than 50 at a time. “Some of these have criminal histories that include narcotics smuggling or sexual assault.”…
