The former mayor of a Maryland college town pleaded guilty Wednesday to 140charges stemming from child pornography possession and distribution, prosecutors said.
Patrick Wojahn had served as the mayor of College Park for about eight years before his resignation and arrest in March.
Wojahn pleaded guilty to 60 counts of distribution of child pornography, 40 counts of possession of child pornography, and 40 counts of possession of child pornography with the intention to distribute, according to a Wednesday news release from Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office.
The former mayor of College Park pleaded guilty to 140 child pornography charges as part of a deal with Prince George’s County prosecutors that will have him spend 30 years behind bars.
PatrickWojahn, 47, was indicted by a grand jury in March on 80 counts of possession and intent to distribute child pornography, and then again in a supersedingindictment in May on140 counts, according to online court records. He pleaded guilty to every count of that second indictment — 60 counts of distribution of child pornography, 40 counts of possession of child pornography and 40 counts of possession of child pornography with the intent to distribute — in Prince George’s County Circuit Court on Wednesday.

When I graduated from medical school, I took an oath. I stood up, raised my right hand, and vowed to prevent disease whenever I could. At the time, I expected to go to war against cancer and schizophrenia. But after forty years, I’ve realized my most challenging fight is not against dangerous diseases, but dangerous ideas.
The beliefs that man and woman are human inventions, that the sex of a healthy newborn is arbitrarily and often incorrectly “assigned,” and that as a result the child requires “affirmation” through risky medical interventions—these ideas are divorced from reality and therefore hazardous, especially to children. They are, in fact, a mockery of twenty-first-century science and cause immeasurable harm to young people and their families. I know, because I’m a psychiatrist and they’re my patients.
I don’t have the words to describe the sorrow of parents I know whose young daughter was removed by a government agency, placed in foster care, and started on testosterone. Their crime? Insisting she’s a girl. Or the anguish of a young man I see, who sought castration to become his “authentic self” and now, after the fact, regrets it. Or the rage of a twenty-something woman going through menopause due to “gender-affirming” removal of her reproductive organs.
Are these atrocities really happening in our country? They sure are, and you must protect your loved ones from joining the multitude of victims.
I discovered how children were being indoctrinated with gender ideology while writing my 2009 book You’re Teaching My Child WHAT? I wanted parents to know that the powerful sex ed industry has agendas that undermine the health and safety of children. Widely used curricula and teen-friendly websites promoted sexual freedom, not sexual health, placing students’ well-being at risk.
In the final chapter, I cautioned parents about “Genderland,” comparing it to the upside-down world of Alice in Wonderland:
Parents, fasten your seatbelts. If what you’ve learned so far about sex education horrifies you, and you believe it can’t get any worse, I caution you: it can and it does…. Welcome to Genderland, where the madness of sex education reaches a peak, and everything you know is turned on its head.
The disaster is here. We are in a freefall down a black hole, with no landing in sight. Girls who claim to be boys and boys girls are almost as common, it seems, as teenagers with acne. But it should come as no surprise: after years of bombardment with the notion that the “gender binary” is false and oppressive, and encouragement to explore whether they’re male, female, both, or neither, lo and behold, the number of teens with recent-onset discomfort with their sex is up 4,000 percent.
In 2004, there were two clinics in the entire world for these exceedingly rare cases. Now there are at least one hundred clinics in the US alone, and preteen girls learn from American Girl’s guide Body Image, “If you haven’t gone through puberty yet, the doctor might offer medicine to delay your body’s changes, giving you more time to think about your gender identity.”
And how does a girl do that? She might flatten her developing breasts with a tight elastic binder she can easily find—at Walmart, Target, or at school.’ She goes through the day in pain, feeling lightheaded and short of breath. She may “pack” her underwear to create a bulge emulating the look of a penis. A boy might shave his arms, legs, and chest to erase signs of masculinity. To achieve a flat, feminine crotch he’ll push his testicles into his inguinal canals, then tape his penis and scrotum together behind his legs.” This maneuver can cause severe pain, infection, and testicular torsion-an acute condition requiring emergency surgery.
I know, it’s hard to believe, but that’s what’s going on. The gender utopians have colonized not only super-liberal Berkeley, but Knoxville and Plano. I know the devastation that results and consider it a duty to warn and educate parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles—anyone with a child in their lives-about the mess we are in.
I want the following truths—recognized by everyone on the planet aside from gender studies professors and grad students until about two weeks ago–to be acknowledged in the first pages of this book: Sex is not assigned at birth; it’s established at conception. Brains always match the bodies to which they are attached; we are not Legos or Mr. Potato Heads that might be improperly assembled. Sex is binary. Sex is permanent. Males cannot become females and females cannot become males.
Doctors, therapists, and others who lead young people to believe otherwise are guilty of malfeasance. They must be stopped and held responsible for the damage inflicted on children and families.
Having said that, I will also state outright that there are individuals for whom living a life consistent with their biology is a life of torture. We do not understand the condition from which they suffer, but it is real and unrelenting. I firmly believe their chronic disembodiment is a disorder of the mind and that they deserve our compassion and respect. Hormones and surgery? Maybe, but we cannot predict with accuracy in whom the benefit will outweigh the harm.
My book is not about those extraordinarily rare people, who have been written about for almost 100 years. It is about the kids whose new identities are the result of a hysteria fueled by the Internet, social media, Hollywood, and the gender medical and government establishment that mushroomed out of the ideology I discovered in sex education fifteen years ago.
For me this is a black-and-white issue. Most things in life are nuanced, but this is not one of them. This is—and here’s a word you don’t expect from a doctor–evil. It’s evil to indoctrinate children and young adults with falsehoods and to drive a wedge between them and their loving parents. It’s evil to encourage them on a path that leads to harm. And it’s evil to describe it all as a journey to authenticity, and to entice children with glitter and rainbows.
We are a nation lost in trans madness; the price we are paying is staggering. This is a guide out of the madness. If you’re a parent, you needed it yesterday, because the crusaders are at your door, they’ve already conquered Disney and Target, your kids’ school, camp, and pediatrician.
I wrote this book to arm you for battle against the blitz of transgenderism, because no family is immune. Yes, “battle” and “blitz”: I use military terms intentionally. The trans issue is not a debate with reasonable and moral people on both sides, it’s a war. It’s a destructive, cult-like crusade that targets your children 24/7; there’s hardly a place that’s free from indoctrination, slogans, flags, and emojis. You must gird yourselves with knowledge, confidence, and support and oppose the onslaught as much as possible.
A mother consulted with me about her twelve-year-old daughter. She told me when she goes to websites to learn more about her daughter’s struggles, she feels physically ill. “I can’t go on,” she told me, “I have to stop. Reading about what they do to kids, sterilizing them, I feel sick.”
“That’s a fitting response,” I told her. “You should feel sick. I do, too.”
Decent people have a visceral reaction when they learn children are being harmed. You will be troubled by what you read in the pages ahead; you will probably need to take a break. Well, join the club. Take care of yourself, then come back and do what you must to protect your child, all children, from a perilous social movement that erases “male” and “female” and aims to revolutionize what it means to be human.

I get 200-300 emails a day. By and large, I read most of them, and respond when it seems appropriate.
A good number of these are from people I don’t know but have heard of my work. Their emails cover the gamut from: asking for more information (on one of my topics of interest), sharing information, thanking me for my efforts, to trying to establish a connection with me.
So last week when I received a Linkedin request to connect with Mandy Xu, an “Executive Director at Merrill Lynch” it wasn’t out of the ordinary. Even the fact that it was from an attractive woman wasn’t all that unusual.
You’ll have to take my word, that I responded to Mandy, primarily due to her business position — and NOT her good looks!… The first exchanges were semi-normal. Then she wrote:
“John, I read your bio and you’re excellent, you’re an excellent physicist, are you still currently serving as the Executive Director of the Coalition for Sensible Energy Decisions?” A few things here were hints that this might be AI. For example, “excellent physicist” is not normal talk. For example, there is no coalition “Sensible Energy Decisions” (rather “Alliance for Wise Energy Decisions” AWED).
I corrected Mandy about AWED and her response was “Sounds interesting. I’m currently leading a team working on Artificial Intelligence, using AI to trade quantitative contracts, do you know anything about AI?”
The first part was non-responsive. Regarding AI I do know something, so I asked Mandy to read my four-part commentary on it, to see if she was real and competent.
Mandy’s response (within 30 minutes, i.e., not sufficient time to read what I wrote on AI): “This is a very well-written review article of yours on AI. The most amazing thing about AI technology is that it is constantly learning and every time you search for it, it remembers the knowledge you searched for. It is memorized in its brain and it doesn’t forget it.”
IMO this is non-responsive for several reasons — indicating an AI “person” — so (after a few superficial exchanges) I politely told Mandy that I was terminating our relationship. She objected (offensively!), but I persisted. She then finally (cordially) complied…
At this point, I had no proof that this was AI — other than male intuition, and some Critical Thinking. After sharing this with a friend, she showed me the Linkedin page for Selina Fang, a “Technical Director for Adobe.” Oh, and here is Selina’s picture:
Hmmm. As a senior, my memory occasionally fails me, but I seem to remember seeing this woman before. Maybe she has a twin — and they each had their picture taken in the same room, wearing the same outfit, with the same do, etc.?
Two thoughts here:
I’m curious to know why I was targeted. For example, was someone trying to implicate me for having a relationship with some attractive woman? They might then use that to discredit my other writings (e.g., against AI).
This is an omen for things to come… Shortly… In this case, their plan was tripped up by some inadequacies of the AI response — but that will likely not happen in the near future, as AI gets better.
This is yet another message about the extreme importance of being a Critical Thinker — and seeing that our K-12 schools are actually teaching Critical Thinking.
As I’ve written before, most US K-12 schools are NOT teaching Critical Thinking, but they are instead teaching the exact opposite: conformity.
Woe are we if this is not quickly rectified!

Maine Gov. Janet Mills signed an executive order Wednesday intended to establish a new migrant resettlement office, telling the Portland newspaper the administration’s goal is to attract 75,000 new workers to Maine.
The governor announced the goal as part of the press strategy for rolling out an executive order that will eventually create the “Office of New Americans,” a state office that will assist with migrant resettlement and integration throughout the state.

Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson interviewed Andrew Tate’s brother, Tristan, after their release from house arrest in a video released Sunday.
The Tate brothers were released from house arrest in Romania Friday as they face human trafficking, rape and criminal gang charges. Carlson previously interviewed Andrew about the emasculation of men and the criminal allegations they faced in mid-July.
Tate told Carlson of two women, one being his personal assistant, who were thrown in jail for the same 92 days as the brothers simply for knowing the Tate brothers and allegedly being part of their so-called “organized criminal gang.” Tate said the women were victims of “psychological torture” by Romanian officials to force them to make up false crimes committed by the Tate brothers.
“And essentially, when I look at the way these two women were treated, they were locked in prison because they know us. They’re attacked by their own, one is my personal assistant, so she knows everything I do. She does airport pick-ups, pays my electricity bills. And every week or so they had the keys dangle in front of them, ‘Ready to tell us about Tate’s criminal activities now?’ And they said no, [and] stayed in prison.”
“Next week, ‘You ready to tell us about the criminal activities of the Tate brothers?’ And the problem is they can’t have told the police about criminal activity I take part in because those criminal activities don’t exist,” Tate continued. “So I see it as a method of psychological torture.”

Tate said rather than condemning his arrest, he is angry about the two girls who had been placed behind bars for charges not pertaining to sex or criminal gang activity. Tate said, “Human trafficking” is a “very loose law” which lacks a true definition in Romania.
He claimed the arrest and charges were about “attacking” his brother by charging those close to him for his message on the downfall of masculinity in society.
“Attacking me is a way of attacking [Andrew] and attacking my personal assistant and her friend. I think it was a way of hoping you were gonna turn these women into prosecution witnesses essentially. To lie and say that we did crimes,” Tate said. “It’s about Andrew and his message. That’s all it’s about.”
Tate said he enjoyed being imprisoned because his relationship with Andrew strengthened while in jail. A Court of Appeals in Bucharest released the brothers from jail in late March and granted them house arrest.
He told Carlson he does not blame Romania for his arrest and refuses to sue the country’s government. He is currently unwilling to publicly predict who may have targeted him and have him put in prison.

Such protective orders are common in criminal cases, but prosecutors said it’s “particularly important in this case” because Trump has issued public statements on social media regarding witnesses, judges, attorneys, and others associated with legal matters pending against him.”
They pointed specifically to a post on Trump’s Truth Social platform from earlier Friday in which Trump wrote, in all capital letters, “If you go after me, I’m coming after you.”
Prosecutors said they are ready to hand over a “substantial” amount of evidence — “much of which includes sensitive and confidential information” — to Trump’s legal team.
Prosecutors told the judge that if Trump were to begin posting about grand jury transcripts or other evidence provided by the Justice Department, it could have have a “harmful chilling effect on witnesses or adversely affect the fair administration of justice in this case.”
Prosecutors’ proposed protective order seeks to prevent Trump and his lawyers from disclosing materials provided by the government to anyone other than people on his legal team, possible witnesses, the witnesses’ lawyers or others approved by the court. It would put stricter limits on “sensitive materials,” which includes grand jury witness testimony and materials obtained through sealed search warrants.
The indictment unsealed last week accuses Trump of brazenly conspiring with allies to spread falsehoods and concoct schemes intended to overturn his election loss to President Joe Biden as his legal challenges floundered in court.
Trump faces charges including conspiracy to defraud the U.S. and conspiracy to obstruct Congress’ certification of President Joe Biden’s electoral victory.

Former President Donald Trump’s assertions during the 2020 presidential campaign about the Biden family’s foreign business dealings have proven to be accurate.
Trump routinely criticized then-Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden about his son’s dealings with Ukrainian, Russian and Chinese associates when he was on the campaign trail, most notably at the presidential debates leading up to the November 2020 election.

“China ate your lunch, Joe. And no wonder your son goes in and, wha—, he takes out billions of dollars. He takes out billions of dollars to manage. He makes millions of dollars. And also, while we’re at it, why is it — just out of curiosity — the mayor of Moscow’s wife gave your son three and a half million dollars,” Trump said to Biden during a September 2020 presidential debate, according to an official transcript from the Commission on Presidential Debates.
“That is not true,” Biden retorted.
“What did he do to deserve it? What did he do with Burisma?” Trump pressed.
“None of that is true,” Biden shot back.
“My son did nothing wrong at Burisma,” Biden said later in the debate.
” I think he did,” Trump retorted.
“He doesn’t want to let me answer, because he knows I have the truth. His position has been totally thoroughly discredited,” Biden claimed.
“By who?” Trump asked.
“By everybody. Well, by the media, by our allies,” Biden answered.
Trump and Biden continued clashing at the September debate over the Biden family’s business dealings despite moderator Chris Wallace’s efforts to shift the conversation.
“And he threatened Ukraine —,” Trump said.
“Sir,” Wallace interrupted.
” — with a billion dollars,” Trump said.
“That is absolutely not true,” Biden said, before Wallace moved the conversation to racial issues.
“You got three-and-a-half million dollars. Your family got three-and-a-half million dollars and you know someday, you’re gonna have to explain — why did you get three-and-a-half?” Trump asserted, according to the official debate transcript.
“I have not taken a penny from any foreign source ever in my life,” Biden responded.
“Number two, I don’t make money from China, you do. I don’t make money from Ukraine, you do. I don’t make money from Russia. You made three-and-a-half million dollars, Joe, and your son gave you— They even have a statement that we have to give 10% to the big man. You’re the big man, I think. I don’t know, maybe you’re not. But you’re the big man, I think. Your son said we have to give 10% to the big man,” Trump said later in the debate.
“I carried out U.S. policy. Not one, single, solitary thing was out of line. Not a single thing, number one. Number two, the guy who got in trouble in Ukraine was this guy, trying to bribe the Ukrainian government to say something negative about me, which they would not do, and did not do, because it never, ever, ever happened. My son has not made money in terms of this thing about — what are you talking about — China. I have not had it. The only guy that made money from China is this guy. He’s the only one. Nobody else has made money from China,” Biden hit back.
“His son didn’t have a job for a long time, was sadly no longer in the military service, I won’t get into that. And he didn’t have a job. As soon as he became vice president, Burisma — not the best, not the best reputation in the world — I hear they paid him 183,000 a month. Listen to this, 183, and they gave him a $3 million upfront payment, and he had no energy experience. That’s 100% dishonest,” Trump followed up.
“Look, there are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what this, he’s accusing me of, is a Russian plan. They have said that this has all the characteristics — four, five former heads of the CIA, both parties, say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage. Nobody believes it except him and his good friend Rudy Giuliani,” Biden said later on.
Joe Biden was citing a letter signed by 51 former intelligence officials which claimed Hunter Biden’s laptop was part of a “Russian information operation” without evidence to back it up. One of the letter’s signatories, former CIA official Michael Morrell, testified to the House Judiciary Committee about how Biden Secretary of State Tony Blinken orchestrated the letter, which Morrell signed to help Biden defeat Trump in the 2020 presidential election.
Trump’s assertions about Ukraine, China and Russia appear to be based on a Senate report released in September 2020 detailing Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings and the New York Post’s October 2020 reporting on the Hunter Biden laptop archive.
Trump made similar assertions on Twitter beginning in late 2019, before Biden won the 2020 Democratic presidential primary. Ahead of the 2020 presidential election, Trump tweeted on numerous occasions about the Biden family’s business dealings with Chinese, Ukrainian and Russian business partners.
Hunter Biden’s laptop is a disaster for the entire Biden family, but especially for his father, Joe. It is now a proven fact, and cannot be denied, that all of that info is the REAL DEAL. That makes it impossible for “50%, or 10%” Joe, to ever assume the office of the President!
Hunter Biden’s consulting firm was wired $3.5 million by Russian oligarch Elena Baturina in February 2014 as part of a consulting agreement, the Senate report found. Baturina was married to former Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov and her net worth is estimated at $1.3 billion.
Hunter Biden’s former business associate, Devon Archer, testified to the House Oversight Committee Monday about how Joe and Hunter Biden dined with Baturina in the spring of 2014 at a cafe in Washington, D.C., according to a transcript of Archer’s testimony.
Trump’s statement about Biden threatening Ukraine with a billion dollars was based on what then-Vice President Biden told the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) in September 2016 when Biden bragged about getting Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin fired in early 2016.
“You remember last year I was authorized to say we’d do the second tranche of a billion dollars. And he didn’t fire his chief prosecutor. And because I have the confidence of the president, I was there, and I said: I’m not signing it. Until you fire him, we’re not signing, man,” Biden told CFR. Biden made similar comments at a January 2018 event with CFR when he was out of office.
IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley testified to the House Ways & Means Committee about a threatening text Hunter Biden allegedly sent a CEFC associate with Joe Biden in the room. Shapley provided a transcript of former Biden business associate Rob Walker’s interview with the FBI where Walker said Joe Biden met with CEFC officials in May 2017, shortly after his vice presidency concluded.
The House Oversight Committee revealed in late June a text allegedly sent by Hunter Biden on Aug. 3, 2017 to a CEFC associate about how the Bidens are “the best” at assisting his boss. The next day, Owasco P.C., one of Biden’s shell companies, was paid $100,000 by CEFC, the committee disclosed.

On Aug. 8, 2017, Hudson West III, a business entity formed by Hunter Biden and a CEFC business partner, was wired an estimated $5 million, the Senate report found.
Hunter Biden earned about $1 million from Hudson West III in 2017, according to his guilty plea agreement with Department of Justice (DOJ) prosecutors which fell apart in court. Biden admitted during his late July court appearance he made $664,000 from CEFC in 2017, court transcripts show.
IRS whistleblower Joseph Ziegler testified to the House Oversight Committee that Hunter Biden and his business associates took an estimated $17 million from Chinese, Ukrainian and Romanian business interests. The Oversight Committee released a memo in May 2023 outlining more than $10 million in alleged payments from foreign companies to Biden family members.
Two months prior, the House Oversight Committee released a memo showing Walker took $3 million from a Chinese energy company and allegedly sent $1.3 million worth of payments to Biden family members. Republican Kentucky Rep. James Comer, Chair of the House Oversight Committee, said in July more bank records would be released showing Hunter Biden’s alleged dealings with Russian business partners.
The White House said President Biden “was not in business with his son” when Shapley’s testimony was publicized, a shift from Biden denying any knowledge of his son’s business dealings.
“Any verifiable words or actions of my client, in the midst of a horrible addiction, are solely his own and have no connection to anyone in his family,” Hunter Biden’s lawyer said in the wake of Shapley’s testimony.
Hunter Biden was charged by the DOJ in June with two tax misdemeanors and a felony gun charge. Both IRS whistleblowers accused prosecutors of slow-walking and obstructing the Hunter Biden case based on their knowledge of the investigation.
The president’s son was expected to plead guilty to the tax charges and sign a diversion agreement for the gun charge, until a disagreement with the DOJ about the immunity clause hidden inside Biden’s diversion agreement caused Biden’s plea deal to implode. The DOJ investigation into Hunter Biden is still ongoing and
“He confirms President Biden was not involved in his son’s business,” White House spokesperson Ian Sams tweeted about Archer’s testimony. Sams told multiple media outlets the investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings is an “evidence-free wild goose chase” following Archer’s testimony.
The day after Devon Archer’s testimony to the House Oversight Committee, Trump was indicted by Special Counsel Jack Smith for charges related to his efforts to contest the 2020 presidential election results. Trump pleaded not guilty to the charges Thursday at an arraignment in Washington, D.C. He continues to lead the 2024 Republican presidential primary by wide margins.
The Trump campaign did not respond to a request for comment.
