Is Instagram about to become the next taboo product?

In mid-September, the Wall Street Journal published “The Facebook Files,” a series of investigative reports that was partially based on internal documents leaked by a whistleblower. The overall impression left by the revelations is one of hypocrisy: a company saying in public how seriously they take their responsibility to protect their users from harm and police their content, but in private giving free passes for certain favoured “whitelisted” users and conducting research that reveals how harmful Instagram can be to teenagers, especially girls.

Just how harmful is it?

Time Magazine’s summary of the WSJ articles includes such tidbits as the following. Internal research presented at Facebook showed in 2019 that “Instagram makes body image issues worse for one in three teen girls”. Among teens who reported suicidal thoughts, “6% of American users traced the issue to the photo-sharing app”. Eating disorders and depression are also linked to Instagram use by young people, which according to the article comprise about half of Instagram’s user base. “Young” was not defined, but presumably we are talking about people in their teens and early 20s.

In a Congressional hearing held Sept. 30 in response to the revelations, Facebook’s Antigone Davis, the firm’s global head of safety, disagreed with how the WSJ characterised the company’s research. She emphasised that users benefit from Instagram, which helps them in dealing with the hard issues that beset teens. The reason for the research, she said, was “to make our platform better, to minimise the bad and maximise the good, and to proactively identify where we can improve”. But on Monday, the firm announced that it was pausing its work on a product tentatively called Instagram Kids, designed for users under 13. Of course, anybody who is old enough to type and read can say they are 13 and try to get an Instagram account today, and millions have succeeded.

One senator drew a parallel between Facebook and the tobacco industry, which concealed internal research for years showing that smoking caused lung cancer and publicly denied the facts it knew about privately. Suicide isn’t lung cancer, but dead is dead. While it’s unlikely that a statistically significant number of teen suicides can be definitively linked to Instagram, it is an unvarnished fact that teen suicides in the US have risen dramatically since the early 2000s, rising from a rate of about 10 per 100,000 in age group 15-19 to 14.5 per 100,000 by 2017, the latest year for which national numbers are available. And COVID-19 has not improved matters in that regard.

Correlation is not causation, and there are many factors besides Instagram that make it hard for teenagers to negotiate life these days. But the question before us is this: does the harm done by Instagram (and similar photo-based media) to teenagers outweigh whatever perceived benefits the services provide?

Phrased that way, the question implies that the proper way to analyse this issue is a cost-benefit study. But I’m not at all sure that’s the right way to do it. For one thing, the benefits are of many different kinds, as are the costs.

The most obvious benefit is financial, to Facebook, its investors, and similar media giants, along with their advertisers who pay Facebook gargantuan fees to sell goods and services. Another category of benefit is whatever good feelings, sensations, and experiences users get from using Instagram and similar products. The parallel to tobacco is relevant, because studies both by Facebook and outsiders show that social-media use is highly addictive, and is purposely designed to be that way. This is an open secret, deplored even by some developers of social media, but it is well known and needs to be considered in any discussion.

It’s one thing if a mature, responsible adult decides to indulge in an addictive product, but there are reasons that states have minimum ages for purchasing tobacco and alcohol. Society has made a judgment that teenagers below a certain age need to be protected from these substances, because their ability to judge such matters as alcohol or tobacco use is not yet fully developed. Having been a teenager myself, I can vouch for the truth of that statement.

Some states such as Texas have already taken steps to restrict certain social-media firm activities such as banning individuals based on political content. If we as a society decide that the benefits of Instagram to teens are not worth the harms, we could try to make it illegal for them to use it. Under the present social dispensation, that idea sounds almost ludicrous. But in 1965, who would have imagined that a scant thirty years or so later, smokers would be a disdained minority, unable to light up in workplaces, restaurants, or bars, and condemned to puff in freezing weather at least twenty feet from the nearest entrance? Yet it happened, and a big factor in the social turn against smoking was the blatant hypocrisy the tobacco firms indulged in, as investigations later showed.

I have had at least one young person talk to me wistfully about what it was like growing up without social media, saying that he thought his smartphone was one of the biggest differences between my generation and his, and not a good one, either. As powerful as the tobacco interests were, their wings were clipped, and they paid huge sums to states in retribution for the harms that were caused.

I don’t know what’s going to happen to Facebook in the future with regard to their teenage customers. In the Greek myth about Antigone, she got into trouble with a king who had defeated and killed her brother in battle, and who didn’t want anyone mourning for him or burying him. She tried to anyway and ended up committing suicide.

Facebook’s Antigone Davis may be trying to bury some facts that refuse to stay buried. With regard to the whistleblower who leaked internal data to the press, she said, “We’ve committed to not retaliating for this individual speaking to the Senate”. But a lawyerly reading of that sentence shows it says nothing about not retaliating for anything else the person did. And if the experience of other whistleblowers is any guide, that person’s career in social media is over, and they might as well start studying for their real-estate license or something else they can do on their own.

The Left Hates Columbus Day! So, Happy Columbus Day to you all!

Happy Columbus Day to you all! Usurper president Biden also signed an order calling it “Indigenous People’s Day”!! I wonder if he knows what he signed? Nah – thinking not!

The hatred and lies and racism continue in an never ending stream from this evil administration. I was going to write something else of my own on the subject but found my friend Chris Wrights story from a large group of patriots I belong to and I decided to take a day off and let you read his great article. ( I know – I take several days off! ).

As always his pieces are well researched with many links for you to follow up. He debunks many of the lefts false claims about Columbus which they just throw out of nowhere and, as always, with no evidence apart from stuff they make up. Anyway. Enjoy and as always share using this blog far and wide.

Monday, October 11th, is Columbus Day, which is still an official national holiday despite the Left’s best attempts to cancel it. We will probably be treated to the usual attacks on his statues, as well as the man himself.

The problem for the Left is that there is not a lot of evidence from contemporaneous historical accounts to back up claims Columbus was a rapist and genocidal maniac. It is said he brought thousands of natives back to Europe as slaves, but his ships were so small this could not possibly have happened. He was accused of rape, but the letter accusing him has since been shown to be fraudulent, mentioning temples that did not exist.

Primary sources do indicate he reined in the Spaniards who were with him on several occasions when they wanted to rape and pillage. Crimes committed by Spaniards – some perpetrated decades after Columbus died – were attributed to Columbus falsely. Some incidents occurred when Columbus’ crew were fighting off cannibals.

Today, we think of the trashing of Christopher Columbus as coming from the Left and anti-colonialist Marxists, but it originated in the 19thCentury with anti-Catholic and anti-Italian groups like the Ku Klux Klan. The Klan, which was an armed wing of the Democrat Party, worked to stop Columbus Day celebrations and to smash his statues. This prejudice was real. I’m part Italian. My own grandfather was a victim of the Ku Klux Klan. He came home one night to find a burning cross in his yard.

The motivation of today’s Left goes deeper than ethnic prejudice. They trash Columbus in order to tear down the country entirely, erase its history, destroy its self-confidence, and ultimately replace it with a new culture more amenable to domination by a tiny Leftist elite. The foot-soldiers who tear down statues might not realize they are acting in the service of leaders who are only in it for wealth and power for themselves, but that’s exactly what the recruits are doing.

Ushering in a tiny Leftist elite to rule over us is the true purpose of the movement to replace Columbus Day with Indigenous People’s Day. The problem with that is, the people considered ‘indigenous’ were not the first people in North America. The first to arrive here were southeast Asians, according to National Geographic magazine which slants Left. So I’ll be happy to give the country back to indigenous people if they’ll agree to give it back to the southeast Asians who were here first.

The impulse to tear it all down can be traced back to a Russian revolutionary named Nechayev. His philosophy, if you can call it that, stopped with the utter destruction of everything in society. He had no idea what to do next. Today’s Left is equally irresponsible – tear it all down? Then what?

You have to reach a certain age before the importance of cultural sustainability occurs to you. If you want to tear everything down, you are playing with fire and it WILL burn your house down. While working a booth recently, I met a young woman who told me she was a socialist, but denied being a Marxist. Her starting point was anticolonialism and the view that all white people are oppressors. Her heroine was the anti-imperialist Angela Davis, whom the young woman said was not Marxist. In fact Angela Davis was a committed communist and ran for vice-president twice on the Communist Party USA ticket. I told the young woman I had read an article in a socialist magazine where the writer admitted socialists have no idea how to govern once they’re finished tearing everything down. I asked her, ‘Why would I buy a house from people who freely confess to me they have no idea how to build houses?’ She had no answer, other than to say she wasn’t talking about houses. Ye gads!

Columbus and Western Civilization, which he represents, are looking better by the day.

Deaths From COVID Jabs Continue As Planned

In view of the horrific amount of documented evidence which grows daily, thousands of deaths in addition to millions of serious injuries are happening all over the world, it becomes crystal clear that the various “vaccines” are purposely designed to kill or seriously injure people causing a slower, yet ultimate death.

“The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. What country before ever existed a century and half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”

This quote was included in a letter by Thomas Jefferson which he sent to someone here in America while he was in France.  I often reflect upon his words when viewing our national situation, especially as it relates to the crises, we are confronted with concerning the contrived covid-19 “pandemic” better known as the Plandemic. And as we pursue the history of how it all came about; it becomes completely clear that what is happening with these contrived crises has been planned for more than a decade.

In view of all the daily evidence which continues to accumulate that the Covid jab being injected into millions of people across the globe, was purposely designed to kill people to depopulate the earth to half a billion. So, why are people continuing to line up to get this inoculation?

Propaganda and Misinformation

Part of it, of course, is that there is so much misinformation and media propaganda. Couple that with all the prevailing ignorance which has resulted in a partially lethargic population, and how they have responded is natural.

The constant brainwashing with propaganda and outright lies our people are constantly confronted with is over the top.  Everywhere you travel are billboards telling us, “Get vaccinated – vaccinations are safe and effective.”

Nonsense…if we’re only getting one percent of the deaths and adverse effects reported on the Vaccine Adverse Effects Reporting System (VAERS), then the death statistic is probably one and a half million.

Many vaccinations used to be effective, but not in the way they are perceived to be. And according to all evidence, none of them are really safe.

Biden is telling the unvaccinated that they shouldn’t travel during the upcoming holidays. Implicit in this is an assertion, as well as a confirmation that vaccinated people have nothing to be concerned about — for they are protected. But the unvaccinated are at risk so they need to stay home. All of this is nothing more than a dang lie — a lie that is damned by God, which of course, is the only way something is damned.

We can be forgiven for lying if we haven’t rejected God to the point that He has turned us over to a reprobate mind, which is what has happened to all these forces behind this madness. There is no way anyone can initiate and support the action we are caught up in unless God has turned them over to a mind which can no longer discern between right and wrong and belong to the forces of evil.

This is, of course, not a blanket assertion which would include all those who have been caught up in all the propaganda supporting forced vaccination of the masses. Many have become victims of what is happening out of fear, misinformation, ignorance, and making the choice not to become informed about what has been going on for at least the last hundred years. Changing our country from one which protected the individual rights of all people, to one which had no regard for the people has been the goal from our nation’s inception. In fact, not only do governments have no regard for our freedoms or liberties, but the depth of their contempt, their scorn, their complete revulsion for the people and for our individuality is infinite.

They ignore the immutable principle that came into being with creation, “All choices result in consequences.” This is a given, i.e., inadvertent there is no way to avoid it. When we make a choice, either for good, or for bad, and follow up with action for bringing it to fruition, the results are imminent.

We are now having to adjust our mode of living in order to survive the consequences of the choices, especially those built upon, or supported by an agenda of lies made by so many over 165 years ago.  The thinking and beginning of the plan for what is happening now goes back to the advent of the Illuminati in 1776.

But lying is merely a way of life for those that are involved in bringing the goals of “The New World Order” to fruition. For example: the Center for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now rules that anyone who dies within 14 days after being vaccinated is to be listed as unvaccinated.  And if they’ve only had one shot, and now haven’t had the booster, they too are listed as unvaccinated.

This falsely projects the view that it is the unvaccinated who are dying, and covers up the fact that those dying inside of 14 days after the jab likely all died as a result of being injected with the so called “vaccine” which according to mounting evidence is nothing more than a concoction designed to either kill or severely injure people.

Moreover, this ruling by the CDC sets the stage for placing the cause of the continuing “pandemic” on the unvaccinated.” According to Health Impact News: Official Government Stats on Covid Vaccines: 13,627 deaths, 2,926,646 injuries, 1,429 fetal deaths in pregnant women, and this was over a month ago…remember too, this is only one percent that is reported, multiply times 100.

Think of the misery and heartbreak these numbers represent. Also, the number of lives which have been shattered across the globe to never be recovered.  According to Brighteon, “Under Covid tyranny, U.S. hospitals have become murder factories.”  It is because of the false protocol to protect the vax as the only course for health…when in fact there are multiple applications of safe and cheap medications to make people well.

Across America, hospitals have been transformed into murder factories where people are falsely “diagnosed” with Covid via a fraudulent PCR test, then put on mis calibrated, made-in-China ventilators that blow out their lungs and kill them. Safe and effective medical interventions that actually save lives among covid victims, such as ivermectin, especially as a weekly prophylactic, are strictly prohibited in nearly every hospital in the country.  Obviously, this is part of a malicious medical scheme to exterminate as many patients as possible and drive up the “pandemic” death numbers.

What was once a system of medicine has become a system of deliberate murder.

Then there’s this: Booster shot plans are accelerated to kill the masses before the awakening of the fraud spreads…

According to Natural News…For anyone paying attention, it is abundantly obvious now that the entire covid “Plandemic” scam is a global depopulation scheme to scare people into taking spike protein bioweapon jabs that will kill them over time. What the globalists didn’t anticipate however, is the rapid awakening to the truth that is now spreading like wildfire across the landscape of medicine and science.

We have arrived at a tipping point. Humanity is awakening at an accelerating rate, so now the globalists are trying to exterminate people as rapidly as possible to stop the spread of truth.

Anyone reading these two articles, and especially if they check the links, will get an education relative to the “pandemic” many times over those in the public listening to the Pravda media.

Consider this: of the nearly 3 million injuries, many of them have had the quality of their lives massively affected by 50% or more ultimately their very existence is threatened.

Conclusion

All of this plays into United Nations Agenda 21/30 which is the Great Reset.  We cannot begin to imagine how people will have to adjust in order to survive or to live.

In contrast to what we are experiencing with these totally contrived crises in which the combined forces of evil are involved in implementing a program exterminating much of the world’s population and causing an untold amount of suffering for those who remain, God is still on the throne, He still answers prayer and He loves us.  Please work to expose the truth and pray for guidance and help in doing so.

God loves truth, and He loves it when we share it and help others.  Having done all, we must stand…for the truth and for our Creator.

What has happened to these bright minds? As the world faces a pandemic of historic proportions, the novel coronavirus, these American thinkers have retreated to a provincial village where they ply a cottage industry of neo-relativism, backbiting, and conspiracy theories. Their worldview has shrunk to the narrow confines of a petty America locked in tribal feuds. They write vehement articles that are outdated before they appear, hammer away at a few restricted themes, twist the data, repeat themselves and each other… No dissenting voice can be heard in the din.

Columbus discovered America by taking a wrong turn on the way to the Indies. Have these commentators, misguided by one ignorant declaration, headed into an impasse mistaken for the golden road to American greatness?

Enter Wuhan

December 2019: As images of doomed patients surrounded by “astronauts” in hazmat suits entered the news stream here in France, we suddenly discovered a city named Wuhan, population 11 million, where skyscrapers jostle with a notorious wet market presumed to be the source of a new lethal virus. As the entire province of Hubei went into a lockdown unlike anything seen in modern times, we witnessed the return of French citizens evacuated from the stricken city we’d never even heard of before. Epidemiologists, virologists, public health specialists and endearing GPs became our daily media fare.

We learned the morphology and operating method of a SARS-type virus against which human beings have zero immunity. It could only be checked by drastic measures. The range of outcomes was perplexing. Most people were asymptomatic, others suffered anything from a “common cold” to something like “influenza,” and some were precipitated into a brutal downward cycle and agonizing death.

We rapidly integrated the possibility that this virus might reach us and spread everywhere, replicating the infamous “Spanish” flu that killed millions in 1918-20.  Unless it was just some awful thing that happens in China. Air traffic between Europe and China was halted before the end of January. An ominous warning came from the exponential rise in coronavirus infections aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship blocked off the coast of Yokohama since February 4th. The virus was spread in South Korea by a Doomsday sect—the Shincheonji Church of Jesus the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony. Then it hit the Veneto region of Italy, our next door neighbor.

All of this seemed like a distant echo in the United States. Donald Trump, still holding mass rallies at home, reveled in the crowd of 100,000 (sic) that greeted him and Narendra Modi in Ahmedabad on February 24th. Four days later, at CPAC, then acting cabinet chief Mick Mulvaney set the tone: The coronavirus is serious, the administration is hands-on, no country is better equipped to deal with this kind of crisis. The media are whipping up a panic because Democrats think this virus scare will finally topple the president.

The battle lines were drawn and the shooting began. If Democrats wanted to use the virus to ruin the economy and sabotage Trump’s triumphant re-election, then his supporters would prove that the scare, if not, the virus itself, was a hoax.

The outside world, where Covid-19 was forging ahead and one country after the other went into some form of lockdown, disappeared. Within fortress America, la résistance took the form of neo-relativism: People die all the time from all sorts of causes. The flu, for example, kills tens of thousands.

January 30: Early out of the starting gate, Jeffrey Koons warned “Coronavirus: Dems Rooting for a Global Pandemic.” “Russiagate didn’t work; Ukraine didn’t work; the economy is growing at a healthy rate.   Nothing works against this president — but maybe the coronavirus will do it! ….   Things would have to be a lot worse than in 2002-3, when there were 8,098 cases and 774 deaths worldwide.” BIRD FLU?

March 4: Confiding in Fox News host Sean Hannity, President Trump said he had a hunch, based on conversations with a lot of people, that the 3.4% mortality rate was a false number; a lot of people will get a very mild case, won’t even need to call a doctor, they’ll stay home for a few days … or go to work, yes, they can go to work.

Brian C. Joondeph uses the colorful term “Codswallop” to describe the Democrat agenda in general and the hysterical fearmongering over coronavirus in particular. Noting that in the first week of March there were 3,646 deaths worldwide, fifteen of them in the US, he wisely concluded: “The odds of recovering are far higher than the odds of dying.”

Douglas MacKinnon warns (March 10): The Media-Induced Coronavirus Panic Is Worse Than The Disease: “… when it’s all said and done and this strain of the coronavirus has run its course – as it will with a far smaller infection and fatality rate than the yearly flu …. the financial punishment will be truly catastrophic.”

Heather Macdonald deplores the “misguided response to Covid-19” (March 13) “Fear-mongering news stories” should begin by admitting that there is a total of 41 deaths in the United States, half of them from a “poorly run nursing home outside of Seattle.”  The chances of dying from the disease in America are infinitesimal compared to the economic damage. In 2018-19, 34,200 people died from influenza. The annual death toll from automobile accidents is 38,800. Even if the current Covid-19 fatality rate were multiplied by a factor of one thousand, it would outnumber traffic deaths by a mere 2,200.

MacDonald nonchalantly brushes off those potential casualties by noting that no children under the age of 9 had died, while 89 percent of the Italian victims were over 70, “nearing the end of their lifespans…[and] might have … died from another illness”

hydroxychloroquine

The fervent belief in the miraculous qualities of hydroxychloroquine further minimized the gravity of the pandemic. In his in-depth report on the controversial French professor Didier Raoult, Scott Sayare gives a timeline of the introduction of hydroxychloroquine into the American arena. It began, he says, with the publication (March 16) by Gregory Rigano—who falsely presented himself as an adviser to Stanford Medical School—of a google-doc fake scientific report on the benefits of hydroxychloroquine in the treatment of Coivd-19. Fox News host Lara Ingraham picked up the information, added prophylaxis, and announced the drug was a “game-changer.” Sean Hannity began promoting hydroxychloroquine. Rigano appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show and claimed that Raoult’s study had shown a 100% cure rate. At the March 19th White House task force briefing, President Trump declared: “… it could be a game changer.”

Ignoring the thorough information in Sayare’s article that intelligently covers the full range of the scientific and ideological debate ongoing in France over the treatment aggressively promoted by Professor Raoult, the commentators cited here locked the debate into the tribal schema: Because President Trump talks it up, the Democrats have to shoot it down. Asked how he is qualified to judge the effectiveness and safety of a given drug, trade advisor Peter Navarro replied that he has a PhD in the Social Sciences and knows how to evaluate a report. Later he would claim that China sent its citizens traveling all over the world to deliberately spread the virus.

In a retrospective posted on May 11th, “The sky is falling, run for your life, shelter in place – you fools!” Diane Bederman suggests the refusal to recognize the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine for prophylaxis and treatment of Covid-19, established in a “peer-review published report,” [sic] is explained by vested interests in a more expensive drug, remdesivir. And Dr.Fauci is involved. Former CBS investigative journalist, Sharyl Attkisson also claims that those “disparaging” the prophylactic and treatment merits of hydroxychloroquine have financial ties to Gilead Science, developers of Remdesivir.

The Swedish model

Despite strict confinement measures, the death toll in Italy rose far above the reported fatalities in Wuhan. As the virus spread from one European country to the next, some Americans were increasingly convinced of the nation’s invulnerability. They were encouraged by soothing declarations from the president, and the illusion of a minimal case level, induced by inadequate testing. The only European country that deserved approval from this corner was Sweden. Its bad image in conservative media—cowardly surrender to Islamization, Malmo the hotspot of antisemitism—melted under the heat of infatuation. Was the model re-examined when Sweden registered 4,000 fatalities for a population just over 10 million (as compared to Israel, 281 in a population just over 9 million)? Except for Judith Bergman, they dropped the subject.

Asking “Is This a pandemic or a dempanic?” Joan Swirsky accuses Communist China of waging germ warfare and Democrats of weaponizing a virus that will soon disappear like its more lethal SARS cousins.  “… is this yet another hysterical, sky-is-falling? Every day 130 Americans die from an opioid overdose, 102 people from car accidents, and 2,500 from heart attacks. And yet, so far in America, 19,000 people have contracted the corona virus and 256 have died from it. Thank God for the cool, calm, collected and seasoned business mogul, President Donald J. Trump, who is guiding us.” She calls him “the. smartest. guy.in.the.room.”

“spiked,” the blogger, praises the good consequences of Sweden’s outlier approach, “intolerable to the pro-lockdown hardliners.” Biderman [above] anoints Sweden the only country that defended its freedom against the coronavirus tyranny.

Words will not stop the pandemic

The anti-hysteria discourse becomes increasingly obsessive, repetitive, and virulent in defense of confused government policies.

The sudden ban on travel from Europe caused appalling jams as Americans, thinking they too had to come home before dark, crammed into the seven approved airports. By that time, the virus was already running on domestic steam. The stock market crashed, healthcare workers begged for PPE, governors lamented having to bid against FEMA for desperately needed material. As the death toll, largely fed by the New York hotspot, rose, the flood of copycat articles swelled, nourished by respected signatures and overnight specialists.

In his weekly articles on the American Greatness site, Roger Kimball embellished his keep cool-vision of the unfolding pandemic with highbrow literary references and Latin phrases.

March 7: “They” are trying to make it into a new plague, but President Trump stopped it in its tracks with the brilliant decision to suspend US-China flights at the end of January. Governor Cuomo declared a state of emergency in New York, where only 78 people have tested positive. Nationwide there have only been 19 deaths.

April 4th he insists on the distinction between “dying from the virus [or] with the virus. This theme would bob up on the ocean of corpses through April and May.

By April 25th the death toll from “the insidious cold bug brought to the world by the Chinese Communist Party” had considerably risen … but it was declining almost everywhere.  Except for public health officials and Democrats, everyone thinks “the job is nearly done.” Sweden’s mild regime has given results “almost indistinguishable from … Norway” with its strict regime.

He beats the same drum on the Turnkey radio show on May 5th. Bopping in after the super cool dude’s riff in praise of the Swedish model, Kimball bonks on the Left for instilling fear in American hearts! Fear of the virus that causes the common cold! In my town, you can’t go into a store without a mask!

Bêtes noires

When scientific advice contradicts the president’s zigs and zags, his defenders find communists, socialists, Left-leaning friends-of-the-Democrats under every white coat. A head rises, they chop it off. Fauci, Cuomo, Tedros, WHO, China… The president wants the churches open for Easter. It’s a beautiful example of optimism. He speculates on finding a way to project strong sunlight into the body and to inject a disinfectant directly into the lungs; it’s the fault of the NY Times for making a big deal of it. People are looking for solutions, it’s normal.

The president uses the daily White House press briefings to sing to his own glory. They join in the choir. He insults reporters with low blows; they praise his robust defense against biased media.

The death toll rises, unemployment increases, long lines of cars at the food banks, frustration turns to rage over the lockdowns.  Defiant anti-lockdown demonstrators in harlequin American flag outfits and MAGA caps, sometimes carrying firearms and/or antisemitic signs, demand freedom.  The president insists it’s time to reopen. He says the demonstrators are wonderful people.

When it has become glaringly obvious that this pandemic is nothing whatsoever like influenza, the minimizers make their last stand on the battlefield of freedom. At no time have they opened their hearts to the victims of Coivd-19. All the losses are expendable. They apparently have never spoken to a victim. They never attempted to describe the concrete realities of the disease. Totally indifferent to the methods and results of confinement in Europe, Japan, or Israel, they make lockdown a partisan issue.  Democratic governors are fascists, socialists, communists, enemies. And where lockdown (which looks quite sloppy from here in France) did work to flatten the curve and preserve hospitals from breakdown, the relatively decent figures are flouted as evidence that it was not necessary. Or could have been done properly, by simply protecting the vulnerable. Obesity? Diabetes? Cardiac conditions? Would anyone suggest keeping the overweight at home and letting the slim Jims out on the loose?

The real disaster is not the pandemic

After minimizing the ravages and dangers of the novel coronavirus, they maximize the destruction wrought by the lockdowns. Roger Kimball praises Evangelicals; they defy the lockdowns because they, at least, love freedom.  Anthony Fauci and Neal Ferguson are ludicrously accused of triggering worldwide lockdowns. Biderman [above]: “Two men and one Global organization managed to accomplish what two world wars could not, the near destruction of Western culture and the end of freedom.” Ferguson and Fauci, the WHO-Chinese government propaganda machine, the Chinese Virus, made to frighten us, shut down our economies, and end our freedom of movement. Ferguson is guilty of scare- modeling, and Dr. Fauci of contributing millions to help the Wuhan Institute of Virology improve the capacity of bat coronavirus to infect human cells. The damage done to our society will endure for two generations, she moans. All of this for a virus that primarily kills people over 80.

Allysia Finley sketches a profile of “the lockdown skeptic they couldn’t silence,” Aaron Ginn, the Silicon Valley technologist who, in an essay posted on the Medium website, expressed concern that Western governments were relying on questionable Chinese data … and copying their response to the virus. He saw no evidence that lockdowns suppressed the spread or reduced the fatality rate of the virus.

On May 15th, Finley praises the Swedish model: there’s a good chance they’ve achieved herd immunity by allowing the young and active to mix freely and protecting the elderly. “Dr. Tegnell said this week that the declining number of cases in Stockholm supports this possibility.”

Eileen Toplansky (May 16) accuses Democrat-controlled states of using the pandemic to control people’s lives, and accuses Eric Levitz  at Intelligencer  of “barely concealed glee” in writing that the pandemic threatens to kill 100,000 Americans.

Carey M. Golden wants to “checkmate run-amok COVID-19 states” and hopes we will soon be able to forget “the pronouncements of ‘experts’ like the little gnome man and the scarf lady, and ubiquitous signs and messages that implore us to stay home and stay safe (OBEY!)” All of this coronavirus hype has devious political goals, such as harming the economy to harm President Trump, raking in federal money and “getting rid of costly old people to beef up state finances.”

Pamela Geller quotes Gordon Chang’s accusation that President Xi Jinping maliciously attacked all nations of the world, pressuring them to allow air travel from China, deliberately and knowingly spreading this dangerous virus everywhere. [Daniel A.Bell gives evidence that the alleged flights from China were either cancelled or rerouted.]

Carol Brown  describes the pandemic lockdown as “a mass scale human experiment in government control and it turned out that stripping away our freedom wasn’t all that difficult. /Stay home. Do not go out. Do not earn money. Do not pay your bills, feed your family, maintain your credit rating, live your life. Do not make a single move without permission from the State or you will be punished.”

Old people are imprisoned in nursing homes, contact tracing is the new frontier in fascist technology, we’ve been bombarded with lies and inflated mortality rates, all in the plot against Trump. Dennis Praeger aptly wrote, says Brown: “Economic disasters rarely remain only economic disasters. To give a particularly dramatic example, the Nazis came to power because of economics more than any other single reason….”

And we have been led into “a disaster of monumental proportions” that runs the gamut from increased drug and alcohol addiction, increased domestic violence, suicide, and avoidance of medical care, among other concerns.

Roger Kimball admits in his May 23rd column that he “drastically underestimated how many people would die from the CCP Virus” but maintains nevertheless “the country has been on a moral bender, intoxicated by fear and panic.” The figures are inflated, because listing Covid-19 as the cause of death is financially profitable, and is used by the Left to harm Donald Trump. When the audience for the president’s performance at WH press conferences soared, the “Svengali-like Anthony Fauci, accompanied by his comely, Vanna White-like assistant Dr. Deborah Birx” hyped up alarming scenarios and predicted ghoulish death counts.

Kimball minimalizes the 100,000 deaths “attributed to the Wuhan flu,” claiming half came from nursing homes. [in fact residents and caregivers of nursing homes account for 1/3rd of the fatalities.] and maximizes the dire consequences of the lockdowns: 30 million lost jobs, shuttered businesses, missed graduations, soaring suicide and drug-addiction rates.  The real crisis was not the disease but the politician-and-media fired panic over the disease.

“But the symptoms this time will not be nausea and headache but shame at our credulousness and rage against those who exploited it. Rage. Look for it in a neighborhood near you in the coming weeks and polling stations across the country in November.”

Could he ever have imagined the rage that is flaming in the neighborhood near you today?

Honest debate

All of the issues raised above are subject to debate. No one has the last word on the novel coronavirus, the merits of hydroxychloroquine, the exact number of victims infected or deceased, or how they might have been saved… No one knows exactly why some countries have, apparently, achieved extraordinary results in containing the virus and why others succumbed to disaster. What was the best strategy? Confinement, lockdown, mitigation, masks, modeling …

I lost two precious colleagues to Covid-19: Claude Barouch and Claude Goasguen. And I fear I have lost several more to collateral damage in this transatlantic divide, where bright minds turned away, petulantly, from an existential challenge, and chose tribal loyalty over reason and reality.

So much acrimony over lockdown when, as Jonathan Kay shows with graphic clarity, “the real lockdown was never imposed by government. It turns out that it was inside each and every one of us all along.”

Predictive Analysis and The Theory of Consequence!

In very few instances have I promoted a project, product, book or merchandise. I have never earned a cent from this blog and consider it a work of love and importance. Many of you fine readers will remember when I helped promote a great chocolate company in Knoxville, Tennessee that was run by a true conservative patriot and friend. It had been severely damaged by the insidious, draconian and irrational China Virus rules and mandates which irrationally closed him down. The company is “ZenEvo” and they make an amazing, tasty, high quality and healthy chocolate product. I consider myself an aficionado of this major food group (chocolate) and his is some of the best I have ever eaten! Links to contact and to buy his chocolate is at the bottom of this blog!

Anyway, a friend of mine in the United Kingdom, a 30+ year veteran firefighter from Surrey in the beautiful south of England, has written a great book, the first of three in the series of fighting Covid. It is titled Predictive analysis and the theory of consequence!

The authors name is ‘Andy Allwood.’ He is a true Brit, loves the Royal Family and also counts Nelson Mandela as a hero! ( By the way, that is the only bone of contention I have with his views as I think Mandela was a cold stone Commie Terrorist while his wife, Minnie, was twice as bad.) Anyway….like people used to be here, Andy and I can differ in our opinions without one of us getting, as the Brits say, “our knickers in a knot!” Neither of us are thin skinned or delicate let alone have sensitive feelings!! OK. That was a statement of understatement!

Anyway. One good thing here is that Andy has a deep love and understanding of America and he loved President Trump. That makes the whole ‘Mandela’ thing almost better!

This book is not too thick. It is written with really great British humor and verbiage many Americans love but sometimes miss the subtle nuances involved. However, Andy has written a book that is about as subtle as a sledgehammer swing full force to the forehead! It is probably best read in a few sessions as opposed to all in one go! Great to take on flights and business trips etc.!

The next two books in the series will be published soon and the next one will be titled “Attackers Defenders & Cannon Fodder.”

Many different subjects are covered in this first book. Some in depth and some fleetingly to be further written about in the next two books in the trilogy. Some examples of subjects covered are Covid, Banking, British politicians from the Conservatives and leftist Labor Party, the Royal Family, Princess Diana, President Trump, the Nanny State, the Bank of England and the evilness of politicians of all ilks! All seen through this mans at times ‘crazy’ eyes and language!! By the way there is some bad language scattered liberally throughout but somehow it just fits as that is how so many Brits and Americans speak today.

Eighty Million Americans Want Secession from the Union

The tolerance, and even yearning, for division is far more dangerous than many realize.

Over 80 million American voters favor secession from the Union, according to a September 30 poll. The data released by the Center of Politics at the University of Virginia shows that 41 percent of Joe Biden and 52 percent of Donald Trump voters “at least somewhat agree that it’s time to split the country.”

America has rarely ever been more divided than it is now.

The division is even destroying democratic ideals. The study showed that about 40 million voters, from both political aisles, “show a willingness to consider violating democratic tendencies and norms if needed to serve their priorities.” They both support the idea of a president acting free of congressional or judicial constraints, something that would only further deepen divisions.

These are alarming political ideals, all built on the dangerous foundation of pro-secessionism.

“The divide between Trump and Biden voters is deep, wide, and dangerous. The scope is unprecedented, and it will not be easily fixed,” said University of Virginia Center for Politics Director Larry J. Sabato.

The Squad: Foiled For Now, But Determined to Carry On

The Squad is the name given to four far-left members of Congress, distinguished particularly by their anti-Israel views and votes. Toward the end of September, three of the four squadrettes – Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Alanna Pressley – helped to block a budget bill because it contained an aid item they opposed: $1 billion for Israel to replenish its store of Iron Dome missiles, which had been depleted during the 11-day war with Hamas this past May. Their efforts ultimately did not succeed, because two days after they held up the budget bill until the Iron Dome funding was stripped from it, a stand-alone bill providing that Iron Dome funding was passed, overwhelmingly, by a vote of 420 to 9.

In case you missed it: Last Wednesday [Sept. 22] members of the “Squad,” far-left House Democrats including Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and Alexandra [sic] Ocasio-Cortez, blocked a bill to keep the federal government operating until it was stripped of funds to replenish Israel’s Iron Dome.

Actually it was Ayanna Pressley, the fourth member of the Squad, who voted “No,” while Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez voted “Present,” then dissolved in tears, apparently overcome by having to vote, or so some claim, against her beliefs so as to not alienate Jewish voters in New York should she, as expected, run for the Senate.

To be clear: The Iron Dome is not a weapon. It is a shield. It intercepts and destroys short-range missiles before they can reach their intended victims.

Developed through a blossoming partnership that produces next-generation military technology for Israeli and US warfighters, this miracle of engineering is now used to protect American troops as well.

Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system intercepts incoming rockets. The missiles do not kill people; they prevent people – the civilians who are targeted by Hamas — from being killed. That is their sole function. The missiles Israel needs to replenish those spent in the May war, the missiles that the Squad and its willing collaborators — Jamal Bowman (D-NY), Pramila Jayarpal (D-WA), Cori Bush (D-MO), André Carson (D-IN), Marie Newman (D-IL), Raúl Grijalva (D-AZ), Chuy Garcia (D-IL), and Thomas Massie (R-KY) (Massie is an odd man out in this group, for he is not anti-Israel but was concerned about the expense) — all voted against, are purely defensive.

The Iron Dome also defends Israelis who are not Jews. Say a missile strikes an Israeli hospital. Those inside will likely include Israeli Arabs, Muslims, Christians, Druze and other minorities. They may be doctors, nurses, or patients, because Israel has no laws separating by race, ethnicity, or religion.

In other words, Israel is not an apartheid state, although that’s the slander you now incessantly hear from the Squad and others intent on demonizing, delegitimizing and, ultimately, destroying Israel.

Clifford May points out that both the medical personnel, and the patients, in an Israeli hospital, include not just Jews, but also Muslims, Christians, and Druze. There is no apartheid in the medical system.

What he might have added, had he had more space, was that there is no apartheid anywhere in Israel. In this so-called “apartheid state,” Arabs sit in the Knesset, serve on the Supreme Court, go abroad as ambassadors for their country. The chairman of the largest bank in Israel, Bank Leumi, is an Arab. Jews and Arabs study together in universities and technical institutes. Jews and Arabs work together In factories and offices. Jews and Arabs receive medical care in the same hospitals, where they are treated by both Jewish and Arab medical personnel. Jews and Arabs play on the same sports teams and in the same orchestras. Jews and Arabs own businesses – from high-tech start-ups to restaurants – together. The only difference in treatment is that Jews must, while Arabs may, join the IDF.

The Squad needs to be read the riot act – and the paragraph just above – so as to shame it into silence, if such is possible with such shameless liars, on the subject of Israel’s so-called “apartheid.”

The Iron Dome saves the lives of Gazans, too, because, without this missile defense system, Israelis would not sit quietly as Hamas, which rules Gaza, rained death on them. They’d counterattack hard and fast, which would make it difficult to minimize civilian casualties to the extraordinary extent Israelis have managed in past conflicts.

The Iron Dome defense system keeps Israeli casualties low. If the Squad were to have had its way, and the $1 billion funding to replenish Israel’s stock of interceptors had not passed, the result would not only have been more Israeli civilians dead, but more Palestinians in Gaza would be dead as well, for Israel would have to launch more deadly attacks, with less warning time, to try to destroy as many of the rockets and rocket launchers as possible. Since both the 15,000 rockets Hamas possesses, and its rocket launchers, are deliberately hidden inside or beside civilian buildings, including schools, hospitals, apartment buildings, Israel would have no choice but to hit these buildings where weapons are hidden.

Clifford May further notes:

And since Hamas routinely employs Palestinians as human shields – an egregious violation of American and international law but beneficial for its public relations efforts – Gaza would soon resemble Syria, Yemen and Libya (countries from which, incidentally, millennia-old Jewish communities have been “cleansed”).

Returning to the apartheid slander: It’s a twist on the “Zionism is racism” resolution first promulgated by Israel-haters at the United Nations General Assembly in 1975. Repealed overwhelmingly in 1991, it was revived at a UN conference in Durban in 2001.

Zionism implies nothing more than the right of the Jewish people to self-determination in part of their ancient homeland. And, as anyone who has walked down a street in Jerusalem knows, Israelis come in all colors, including black Jews from Africa and brown Jews from India and Pakistan.

Last week, the United Nations sponsored another Durban conference. Three dozen nations boycotted rather than participate in one more festival of Israel-bashing and anti-Semitism. Many of the nations that did attend are egregious abusers of fundamental human rights.

38 nations boycotted the Durban IV horror, more than twice the number of countries – 14 – that boycotted Durban III in 2009. These were Albania, Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Honduras, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Moldova, Netherlands, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, UK, US and Uruguay. The European Union also did not participate or speak at the commemoration.

Many of the boycotters were among the most important states: the U.S., Canada, Australia, the U.K. France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden. One wonders whether, with so many states having boycotted Durban IV, will there be a Durban V?

The UN General Assembly was in session last week, too, and among those speaking was the newly appointed foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollahian. He utilized both new and old slanders, saying he was “honored to announce that my nation’s willpower is dedicated to the total elimination of all forms of racial discrimination, including apartheid and Zionism.” In other words, Tehran’s goal is the “elimination” of Israel. Its nuclear weapons development program is the means envisioned to realize that goal.

Like Tehran, Hamas is not coy about its genocidal goals. “Israel will rise and will remain erect until Islam eliminates it as it had eliminated its predecessors,” the Hamas Charter proclaims. “Muslims will fight the Jews,” and even those Jews who “hide behind rocks and trees” will not escape, because the rocks and trees “will cry: Muslim: There is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him!”

May might have noted that the prediction quoted by Hamas, about Jews in the end times vainly trying to avoid being killed by hiding behind rocks and trees that then give them away, is one of the best-known hadith, the fons et origo of the anti-Jewish genocidal impulse that is to be found in the immutable texts of Islam, and it cannot be removed, or changed. That hadith will last as long as Islam itself.

Claims that Hamas has moderated over recent years are untrue. “We support the eradication of Israel through armed jihad and struggle,” Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar said in May. “This is our doctrine.”

Here’s the rest of the story that unfolded last week: On Thursday, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer brought Iron Dome up as a standalone bill. There were 290 [sic for 420] votes in favor and nine opposed – eight from members of the Squad plus one Republican (who says he opposes all foreign aid). Just before the vote closed, Ocasio-Cortez changed from “nay” to “present” – and then broke into tears.

One plausible explanation: She plans to run for the Senate and calculates that many New York voters may prefer not to be represented by an ideologue eager to help terrorists murder Jews and kill off the Jewish state.

Perhaps she’ll counter that she favors a two-state solution. Fine, but it’s impossible to imagine Hamas or the Palestinian Authority (which rules the West Bank) accepting such a compromise until and unless they conclude that the dream of exterminating Israel is unattainable. People such as Abdollahian and Ocasio-Cortez keep that dream alive.

By the way, The New York Times asserted that she’d been diverted from her “principles” by “influential lobbyists and rabbis.” Those darn lobbyists and rabbis!

Yes, who were all those sinister “rabbis,” no doubt black-clothed haredim, whom the New York Times claims were threatening poor helpless Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, emailing or telephoning threats, or perhaps even visiting her in the Rayburn House Office Building to make those threats in person, that she’d better vote for the replenishing of Israel’s Iron Dome anti-missile missiles – “or else.” Most likely their numbers and power to intimidate have been exaggerated, or even made up out of whole cloth. But it’s the kind of story that the New York Times, that has so often been caught spreading misinformation about Israel, or attacking Jewish organizations that support Israel, of course would have no compunction about publishing.

Twitter Tweets Child Sexual Abuse – You can hold them accountable!

One of the world’s most powerful companies has crossed the line.

It’s shocking …

The influential social network Twitter allows users to share videos of child sexual abuse and then, with a straight face, claims it has no knowledge of how its platform is being used to degrade and destroy?

It’s absolutely true. And today I’m urging you to give now to stop them.

After calling on Twitter multiple times to stop knowingly distributing and profiting from illegal child sexual abuse material — and getting nowhere — the National Center on Sexual Exploitation has filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of two of the many victims.

Twitter is so cynical that in a response to our lawsuit, the company responded with this: “… the law does not punish a defendant [Twitter] for participation in a lawful venture with sex traffickers, or knowingly but passively receiving the financial benefits of sex trafficking.”

Richard, have you ever heard such nonsense?

Twitter actually further claims that, because it is not technically a “publisher,” it is immune from prosecution. But the law is clear: online interactive services such as Twitter can claim immunity only if they act in good faith to remove the obscene material.

Twitter, of course, did not — and has not — acted in good faith.

It would take pages to explain the case, the background, and the status of our suit. But what we want you to know is that NCOSE is going hard at Twitter. We’re doing everything we can to force the company to do what’s right AND what’s required by law: a much better job of policing their network and protecting vulnerable children.

Aides Quickly Drag President Away As He Tries To Join In ‘F*** Joe Biden’ Chant

WASHINGTON, D.C.—President Biden took a much-needed break from his 4-hour workdays and late-night Matlock binges to attend the Congressional Baseball Game this past weekend, but things quickly went south when he attempted to join the crowd in a rowdy “F*** Joe Biden” chant.

“Yeah, that Biden guy is the worst!” said Biden. “F*** Joe Biden! F*** Joe Biden! Hehe, nothing like a rowdy chant at the old ball game, eh folks?”

Panicked aides quickly grabbed him by the arms and dragged him out of sight to administer some additional meds.

According to witnesses, Biden later returned to the game and looked out on the crowd with his classic medication-induced serene Biden smile.

The FBI has confirmed they will be dedicating 1,328 agents to investigate who started the insurrectionist chant so they can be arrested.

Dear New York Times Executive Editor, Dean Baquet RE: Capitol Hill Stalemate

Good day Deano,

I hope today finds you well today over at The New York Times, as their executive editor.  Well, it has been a busy couple of weeks over there on Capitol Hill.  Our elected officials are trying to iron out details of the $3,500,000,000,000 reconciliation bill.  This of course is tied to (held hostage) to the much needed $1,000,000,000,000 infrastructure bill.  This latter bill actually has 20% of the money dedicated to actual infrastructure, which seems very reasonable……..to some people, that is.   I’m not too sure about the other 80%.  Like Old Nancy says, “just pass it and we can read it later.” Always the consummate, honest, unbiased politician…..eh Deano, old sport.

CAPITOL HILL STALEMATE

It seems also, that we have some infighting in our own Democratic Party.  Crazy right? We usually only see this from the radical right, not the party of the people, Democrats. Let’s take a look at some of the key players and their stances and then examine what Democrats and Republicans are saying.  Of course, we will also look at Joey’s input in all of this.

KEY MODERATE PLAYERS

First, we have Senators Manchin and Sinema.  These two are fast becoming enemies of the liberal left, and rightly so!  These two are asking for the cradle to grave entitlements, Socialist/Communist bill to be scaled down considerably……sorry, I mean reconciliation bill, I keep doing that.  Senator Manchin says his cap is $1,500,000,000,000, while Senator Sinema has given no dollar figure.  Both are being hounded relentlessly for their stances.  Senator Sinema was actually accosted in a woman’s bathroom. Yep, chased right into a stall by someone who claimed to be an illegal alien. Joey even commented on the attack saying “it’s part of the process.”   Very Presidential like, unless it was say………Maxine Waters for instance, then it would be blatantly racist. Ah, Joey’s America, when an illegal alien can verbally assault and harass a sitting Senator with no repercussions.  Word is Joey called the Senator a racist because, she cut the illegal alien in line for the stall.  A protest march is being prepared as we speak. Well done Joey, we’ll done!  President Trump is a racist!

KEY (SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST) PROGRESSIVE PLAYERS

On the other side we have the part time bartender/Congresswoman AOC, and the rest of the squad.  I mean, what a great country we have.  Where can you go from working lady’s night or organizing a beer pong tournament at the local tavern, to being a key figure in how TRILLIONS of dollars are allocated to this once great country? Yes indeed, what a country we now have.

Of course, we have the major players.  The always even-keeled, Bernie Sanders (multimillionaire/owner of multiple homes).  The very approachable skilled negotiator, (self proclaimed, devout Catholic) Nancy Pelosi. The always crucial presence of Kamala “Heels” Harris, always a key player, in regards to decision making. They put old heels Harris on a plane to California, possibly thinking, “out of sight, out of mind at crunch time,” on the big vote day (which didn’t happen for the 3rd time Pelosi had promised it) And of course, the installed POTUS, negotiator, orator, unifier extraordinaire ……Joey Talibiden!

Of course, the right is screaming about this pork-filled entitlement farce of a bill. They’re saying Joey, Nancy and Jen Goebbels Psaki are delusional, claiming this $3,500,000,000,000 will cost ZERO dollars, yep, ZERO DOLLARS.  Is this the new math that they talk about?  They want to know if Joey’s severe cognitive decline is actually contagious?  They wanted to get specifics from Joey, but there was no time to get the teleprompter set up, and the guy who normally cuts the feed to Joey’s microphone and screen when he starts to babble, wasn’t available.  Besides it was getting close to the Bugs Bunny/ Roadrunner hour, which Joey never misses, I’m told.

Of course, it was beautiful seeing Joey show up to try and broker a deal, which did………..absolutely nothing.  Then to see him walking holding Nancy’s hand as he strolled the hall of the Capitol.  “Dr” Jill said this usually has a calming effect on Joey, this is what his health aides usually do.  By the way, the right is questioning when the “Dr” will be arrested for elder abuse?  Well, they asked Joey for comment and he said, “we’re going to work like hell to get this thing passed.”  Then he IMMEDIATELY headed over to the beach house in Delaware, for a much deserved break.  I mean it had been 4 days since his last jaunt to the compound.  It’s not like there is a lot going on right now anyway.  I mean ease up radical right , the man is not a machine.  President Trump is a racist!

WHAT TO DO NOW?

Well Deano, I think I have a plan to pass Joey’s fantastic Build Back Communism Bill. Why not have the esteemed “Dr” Fauci (plandemic expert), do a press conference, declaring a brand new deadly virus variant…….let’s call it, The Pelosi Debacle Variant!

PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION STRATEGY REDUX

Seeing as how it appears that Nancy has lost her once ironclad authority over the house, we need to go to plan B, immediately.  Why not say, this PDV (Pelosi Debacle Variant) forbids the members from coming to Capitol Hill.   Then Old Fauci can say the only way this bill can be safely passed……..would be through mail in voting.  If not done this way,  Fauci can say the alternative would result in almost certain death.  Are you starting to follow me now Deano?

Ok, then they can start to tally the votes and it can be neck and neck into the night. News coverage could have us on the edge of our seats, simply riveting!  Then somehow, almost miraculously, when the voting is finished in the early morning hours……..the Democrats can garner 99% of the votes!  I mean, somehow the vote ended up 530 to 5, between both chambers of Congress; a miracle, right? Almost mathematically impossible…..well, then again, it actually is impossible.

LIBERAL LION

I can hear Senator Paul screaming from the roof tops that someone cast his vote fraudulently, preventing him from voting. (Sound familiar?)  Then, he points out that one of the mail in votes he saw was from Teddy Kennedy (1932-2009), the infamous “Liberal Lion.” A man of impeccable integrity, just not too good a driver or reporter of drowning victims. But a hell of a swimmer, he can swim a large body of water after a suspicious car wreck, before exhaustion sets in. That’s when he had to sleep for 12 hours (then afterwards speaking to lawyers and confidants), before reporting this drowning victim to police, minor detail..……what a liberal icon.  But let’s not waste time on these pesky details. Viola, problem solved, in regards to this annoying voting issue, what do you think Deano?   Maybe you should run it by your boss AG Sulzberger.  Let me know what Ole Slushy thinks about this, buddy.

Then of course, the radical right can start screaming bloody murder, drama queens that they are.  But it then it falls on deaf ears with the DOJ, KGB, sorry, I mean FBI and also the news and media outlets, even your pristine outlet Deano, Pravda….. I mean the NY Times. Possibly, the FBI will be busy with the Clinton Russian collusion conspiracy sham which backfired, or they may be possibly shredding documents in regards to our Olympic women athletes sexual coverup coup by them….they must be busy.  Maybe, they could reach out to bipartisan level headed  Alyssa Milano to show her outrage, in regards to these poor athletes, who the FBI tried to silence.  They must have available agents though, we know there has never been any man power dedicated to voter fraud.

JOEY HITS THE ROAD

It seems Joey is now hitting the road to push his Build Back Communism Bill. I understand he is putting in backbreaking 2 hour work days.  I also understand teleprompters are being set up at a feverish pace nationwide.  With the exception of course, of anywhere near the Southern  border debacle.  Not to worry though VP Kalamity Harris (Border Czar Expert), has that territory.  She has to squeeze it into her demanding schedule, between bakery sampling’s, interviews on the View, Ellen, CNN and the always important college football game coin tosses.  I understand these sports venues have their own chant for the installed POTUS, “ – – – –  Joe Biden,” also know as FJB.  I believe he is the first installed POTUS to have his own personal chant, very impressive.  That’s Joey, always breaking down barriers.

My major concern with Joey crisscrossing this once great country is of course climate change.  I mean, I am weeping , inconsolable actually, as I type this just thinking of the “carbon footprint”, destroying the world.  Between this and Heels Harris jaunting off to Viet Nam to accomplish………….well, President Trump is a racist.  Or Heels jetting out to California for a one nighter, all while Joey was walking the halls of the Capitol, looking for Barack Hussein.  No word if she flew out to her affluent hamlet of Brentwood California, where she may have left a light on, or possibly looking up old friends like Willie Brown.  Climate change, carbon footprint darn it!!  Wait a minute, wait a minute my mistake, this is not the time to use this narrative Deano, my bad, sorry.  I’ll just wait till a Conservative gets on a plane, then we can rip them a new one buddy.  Whew, that was close. I can put the tissues away now.

DOMESTIC TERRORISTS

Well it seems we are finally addressing the most important issue to date, domestic terrorists.  We have finally nailed down the biggest threat to National security.  It’s the parents of our children voicing their concern about what schools are indoctrinating children with, namely CRT.  That and arbitrary mask mandates, like the one the very credible Gavin Newsom has implemented.  You know, where K-12 graders must be inoculated as the vaccine is approved for their age groups………but teachers don’t have to be.  Seems very reasonable and fair Deano, what are these radical right wingers so upset about.

Well Joey isn’t standing for it!  He has ordered the DOJ to investigate these terrorists, and provide protection to these poor apolitical administrators.

CONSERVATIVES TAKE ON THINGS

Many on the right are outraged.  Claiming this Installed POTUS is a kowtowing disgrace.  This is what Conservatives say among his numerous gaffes, his most egregious acts are….

  • surrendering to the Taliban and leaving Americans and our allies to fend for themselves, on conditions dictated by these terrorists.
  • surrendering our Southern border to the tune of 200,000 illegal aliens a month, while vilifying the heroes of the border patrol that are doing an insurmountable job.  All while he spends long weekends in Delaware cowardly hiding and shirking responsibility to protect Americans and our borders.  All the while he has these illegal aliens transported in the dead of night throughout this once great nation.
  • surrendering major cities to escalating violent crimes, putting the onus on the problem being police officers, not the criminals and ridiculous revolving justice door. Empowering lackey Governors and Mayors in Democratic run cities…..De Boobio, Newsom, Lightfoot, etc .
  • trying to surrender our economy to absurd Progressive/Communist wish list to the tune of 3,500,000,000,000, which, in actuality, is closer to 5,000,000,000,000. All orchestrated by looney Bernie Sanders, the Squad and those who fear the Squad, namely Nancy Pelosi and Chuckie Schumer, and assorted other players. Talibiden has no clue, they claim, he just parrots what they feed in on the teleprompter and then runs away from reporters and their questions.
  • surrendering our children to indoctrination theories, and covid narratives that suit their agendas, that has parents (domestic terrorists) across the nation up in arms against them.

And much, much more.  Conservatives ask, name one positive thing this installed puppet has done for America so far, just one?  I mean really Deano are these right wing zealots kidding me? I mean Joey has done plenty, like……………………..well, President Trump is a racist.

LIES, LIES, LIES, AND THEN, MORE LIES

The radicals want to know if anyone, they mean anyone, can stop the pathological lying in this abysmal administration?  It is spreading worse than the Delta variant, Conservatives say.  From the king of liars the star Joey Talibiden, we have “Dr” Jill,  Blinken, Austin, (Daddy Warbucks) Mayorkas, Pelosi, Schumer, Sanders, AOC, Milley, Mackenzie, Harris, (she really doesn’t count, she hasn’t been seen in weeks).  But the one that makes my blood boil is them calling Peppermint Propaganda Patty a liar.  I, as you Deano,  know, that Little Red Lying Hood is pure and honest as the driven snow, the audacity of these ghouls, have they no shame. They also point to esteemed reporting agencies like your New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC  for peddling this ridiculous, biased, laughable tripe.

One last question for you Deano.  Is it true all of Joey’s lies and cheating all started way back in 1st grade.  Sources say, he was caught cheating on a Phonics test and when the teacher questioned him he said, it’s Trumps Fault!

Keep up the fantastic, apolitical, unbiased and professional work over there at the Old Gray Lady.  I’m sure Joey is very proud.  Give my regards to Slushy and the gang, we’ll talk soon.

Disney+ To Release Separate Fauci Documentary For Each Time He’s Changed His Mind

U.S.—Get ready Disney+ users, because there’s another reason to use the service besides just rewatching all The Simpsons episodes from season two until the show abruptly ended and went out in a blaze of glory in season ten.

Disney is giving the audience what they want with a Fauci documentary! Just what we asked for. But even better, Disney has confirmed that there will be a separate documentary for each different narrative that Fauci has pushed. The move will reportedly flood Disney with over 500 separate versions of the Fauci doc.

“You can now enjoy this documentary of America’s most important public health servant,” said a Disney representative. “Well, any one of 500 different documentaries and counting. We’ll keep releasing new ones as he tells a different version of his story or changes his mind again. So, yeah. We’re gonna be pretty busy for some time.”

Even better, according to Disney+ spokespeople, the Fauci movies will all be edited in real-time to keep up with his ever-changing story. “It’s pretty much a choose-your-own-adventure documentary at this point.”

At publishing time, Disney had reminded everyone that watching Fauci is mandatory, and anyone who does not watch will be added to the FBI’s domestic terrorism watchlist.

An Important Church and State Battle in Seattle

We have all seen the horrible violence in Seattle in the last year or so. But now there’s a new battle, virtually under the radar.

In 1932, the Union Gospel Mission began serving the poor and downtrodden in Seattle. But now this ministry which has been serving millions of meals through the years and providing many other services may have to shut its doors because of a decision by the Washington Supreme Court.

The Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is defending the mission. They write:

“A Washington Supreme Court decision forces a religious nonprofit, Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission, to hire employees who do not share the organization’s religious beliefs.”

The mission chose not to hire a potential candidate to work for them, who by his own profession does not share their beliefs. He is not a Christian. So he sued. Yet, Christianity is at the core of what they do.

Scott Chin, the president of the mission, told Virginia Allen of Heritage Foundation’s Daily Signal (9/27/21):

“We are 89 years old and [at] Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission, we exist to love and serve and share the Gospel with our homeless neighbors. We do that by providing food and shelter, addiction recovery services, job placement services, and legal services.”

For example, their website explains one aspect of their mission:

“11,751 of our neighbors in the greater Seattle area are homeless. Every night, Search + Rescue vans drive to the darkest places in the greater Seattle area to hand out life-saving supplies and care to men and women.” Who knows how many homeless they might have spared from freezing to death?

But all of their good works for Christ might grind to a screeching halt because the Washington Supreme Court is ignoring the true meaning of the First Amendment.

On June 12, 1788, James Madison, a key architect of the Constitution, declared:

“There is not a shadow of right in the general government to intermeddle with religion.”

The founders did not intend for the state to run the church, nor did they intend for the church per se to run the state—however, that’s a far cry from saying the church would have no influence in the state.

A month after he was sworn in as our first president, George Washington wrote a group of Baptists: “If I could have entertained the slightest apprehension that the Constitution framed in the Convention, where I had the honor to preside, might possibly endanger the religious rights of any ecclesiastical society, certainly I would never have placed my signature to it.”

In short, if you believe that the Constitution allows for government to interfere with religious organizations, you’ll find no support from the father of our country.

The legal battle is an important one, says Chin: “And so we’ve asked the U.S. Supreme Court to weigh in on this critical issue, ‘Does the government have the power to punish religious organizations for living and operating consistently with their faith in this way?’”

Appealing to the U. S. Supreme Court is always a long shot. But the irony is that the Supreme Court has even spoken on this type of issue.

Imagine a Supreme Court decision in which both the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the late Antonin Scalia agreed upon. Ginsburg was as far left as they get, and Scalia was far right. But they both agreed on this: A religious organization has the autonomy under the Constitution to hire according to its religious beliefs.

This was a 2012 case out of Missouri involving a Lutheran school, Hosanna-Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church & School v. EEOC.

In the unanimous decision (9-0), Chief Justice Roberts wrote:

“The interest of society in the enforcement of employment discrimination statutes is undoubtedly important. But so too is the interest of religious groups in choosing who will preach their beliefs, teach their faith, and carry out their mission. When a minister who has been fired sues her church alleging that her termination was discriminatory, the First Amendment has struck the balance for us. The church must be free to choose those who will guide it on its way.”

Jeremy Dys—Special Counsel for First Liberty Institute, which fights for religious liberty—told me:

“No one should be surprised when a religious organization acts religiously. It is only surprising—and unconstitutional—when the state insists a religious institution shed its faith commitments or be punished.”

If the mission loses this case, imagine the potential impact on the hungry and downtrodden of Seattle. But for the Left, this isn’t about suffering people. Despite First Amendment protections and clear Supreme Court rulings, these dedicated secularists are wholly devoted to undermining the influence of religion and religious organizations in America—and we see the results as our society comes unglued around us.

Worldview is Central to Determining Views on Abortion

The month of October kicks off “Respect Life Month” in the Catholic Church, and with the U.S. Supreme Court scheduled to hear the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case on December 1, Christians across the country have begun praying in earnest for the case that could overturn Roev. Wade. How will Americans react to the possibility of the Court altering the long-standing Roe ruling concerning abortion?

Many Americans wonder why abortion remains such a high-profile issue after all these years. The explanation is simple. Almost 50 years ago, seven appointed—not elected—justices decided that killing unborn babies should be a constitutionally-protected act. Since that time, more than 62 million unborn babies have been killed in our nation.

Rest assured, that fact has not gone unnoticed by the God who knitted together those babies in the wombs of their mothers.

Recent worldview research provides helpful insight into Americans’ views about abortion. The annual American Worldview Inventory undertaken by the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University shows that after a half-century of energetic public debate about abortion, the abortion perspectives of millions of Americans remain surprisingly tenuous and pliable.

Keep in mind that very few adults are capable of applying a biblical worldview to this (or any other) issue. Although 51 percent of Americans think they have a biblical worldview (according to a Center for Biblical Worldview survey), the American Worldview Inventory reveals that only six percent of Americans actually have one. Since most Americans (88 percent) are driven by a Syncretistic worldview—an inconsistent, unpredictable combination of elements originating in various competing worldviews—the nation’s thinking about the morality and permissibility of abortion is more likely to be based on current emotions and popular thought, not on biblical principles related to life.

Indeed, the American Worldview Inventory underscores the morally wayward thinking of Americans. Not quite four out of 10 adults (39 percent) believe that life is sacred. An equal proportion of Americans argue that life is what we make it or that there is no absolute value associated with human life. The remaining two out of 10 adults possess a variety of other views about life, including outright uncertainty as to whether or not life has any intrinsic value.

Views about life are closely related to worldview and faith commitments. For instance, more than nine out of every 10 adults (93 percent) who have a biblical worldview believe that human life is sacred. Eight out of every 10 (81 percent) SAGE Cons (i.e., the Spiritually Active, Governance Engaged Conservative Christians) possess that view as well. Surprisingly, only six out of 10 theologically-determined born-again Christians (60 percent) say that human life is sacred. Those proportions dwarf those among people associated with non-Christian faiths (25 percent) or those who are spiritual skeptics (15 percent).

Many people are surprised to discover that Millennials are not a pro-life generation. Less than one-quarter of them (22 percent) believes that human life is sacred. Meanwhile, twice as many in Gen X and a slight majority of Boomers and their elders contend that human life is sacred.

Americans’ views about abortion continue to shock many observers. For instance, two out of three adults (64 percent) either say that the Bible is ambiguous in its views about abortion or that they don’t know what those views are. For a nation where roughly seven out of 10 adults call themselves “Christian,” that represents a mindboggling degree of biblical ignorance concerning one of the most high-profile social issues of the past half-century.

Not everyone falls into that vacuum of wisdom, though. More than nine out of 10 people who have a biblical worldview—a group known as Integrated Disciples—reject the notion that the Bible contains ambiguous ideas about abortion. Similarly, eight out of 10 SAGE Cons reject that position as well.

But the idea that the Bible is ambiguous about abortion is held by a variety of population segments. More than 70 percent of people who draw heavily from non-biblical worldviews—specifically, Marxism, Secular Humanism, Modern Mysticism, Postmodernism, and even Moralistic Therapeutic Deism—believe the Bible can be interpreted multiple ways regarding abortion. At least seven out of 10 adults aligned with a non-Christian faith or spiritual skeptics also embrace that point of view. And two-thirds of adults under the age of 50 harbor that misconception as well.

Given these perspectives, then, it should not shock us to find that nearly six out of 10 adults (57 percent) believe that a woman who chooses to have an abortion because her partner has left and she believes she cannot reasonably take care of the child is making a morally acceptable decision. Again, the survey shows that such a decision is a direct reflection of one’s worldview. Just two percent of the Integrated Disciples support abortion under such circumstances. In contrast, more than eight out of 10 who are adherents of other worldviews support that decision. That includes 89 percent of those who often draw their worldview from Postmodernism; 88 percent who often rely upon Secular Humanism; 82 percent who draw frequently from Modern Mysticism; and 81 percent who lean heavily upon Marxist philosophy.

Previous research by the Cultural Research Center also revealed that national opinion is roughly equally divided as to whether the Supreme Court should overturn its disastrous Roe v. Wade decision of 1973. The subgroup numbers line up similarly to the segmentation patterns related to the responses to the other abortion-related questions described earlier. In general, those most desirous of the Court overturning the 1973 ruling are led by Integrated Disciples (67 percent consider a reversal of Roe to be a priority) and by SAGE Cons (74 percent). Those who want the Court to affirm Roe are led by groups that are not favorable to Christianity.

The Court’s ultimate decision, whatever it may be, will not satisfy everyone—or, perhaps, even a majority of Americans. But for biblically informed Christians, the abortion issue is not about pleasing a majority of the public or persuading a majority of jurists; it is a matter of understanding and obeying God’s principles and standing for His truth.
